I guess it works. Tried it on my dog first , all he does is move his ears and doesn't seem to care. he's a bigger dog (Pitt Terrier) not sure if that matters. I actually got it to try and stop my neighbors dog from barking , that didn't work. Four stars because it seems to work, just not what I needed for.

The dog whistle stops barking. This is an excellent app if you have out of control barking from neighbors dogs. When tuned to the right frequency, they stop barking immediately. If the barking continues, you may have to plug into a small portable radio or other amplifying device. Works very well!

It works <3. It works, and it stopped my dog from barking excessively. According to dog behaviorist Steven Lindsay, frequencies above 36,000 hertz can be painful to dogs, resulting in whining or barking. Luckily, this app doesn't give you the option to go that high, so you don't have to worry too much about hurting your dog.

The app. I like this app because it gets my brothers to go away when I want them to and it gets the dogs to shut up sooooo get the app because it's awesome so if your a kid and you want to annoy some one get it.

Walks. This works amazing for the 2 dogs I have when I take them on walks I don’t like them going on the neighbors yards so I used fr app and now they don’t go in there yard but they still want to..... now they know they shouldn’t this app is great but don’t put the frequency too high it might hurt ur dogs ears.

Great App. This app is great and it really works! Especially on my stubborn dog. He was just about ready to start running the fence chasing the dogs on the other side and I said “No!” Of course when he’s in that mental zone he won’t listen. But then I remembered I had this app, so I held down the whistle button and said “No, Come!” And he turned around and came to me, no further action required! Excellent app, I love it and my dogs hate it!😆

Works great. Charlie will stay and leave it within a few minutes of this program.

It actually works well.. I was skeptical when I downloaded this, but have been very pleasantly surprised to find out that it works. When my dogs barking is out of control and he does not respond to my verbal commands, I tap the button on this at a high range sound range and it immediately gets his attention and interrupts the behavior. Bravo.

Thrilled with the results. I’m disabled and sometimes it’s hard to run after my little dog or yell commands. Searched Web for whistles, but when I saw this app, I was a little skeptical. I only knew of the “one sound whistle”’you stick in your mouth. My stubborn little doggie learned to “come” to me without hesitation. I accidentally trained, Max, my kids’ dog to come just by observing what I was doing with Layla. Where was this when my kids were growing up???

Hm.. Sound works. I know the sound works, cuz I can hear it. My dog can’t, or ignores it. When my dog was barking at deer I pushed the button and she stopped barking but as soon as I released the button she continued to bark. Most settings she can’t even hear it. But there IS a sweet spot that my dog looses her mind when she hears it. Not the reaction I wanted. And she barely can here it over her own barking. I was hoping this noise would work like Bark Begone. It doesn’t. Maybe I’m using it wrong but I might just by Bark Begone for $45.

Horrible app don’t waste your time. First don’t get this app it is horrible I even tried it on my dog so don’t waist your time second people think we’re haters for saying the truth wick is stupid and all but I guess I am one of does so called haters more like truth tellers if I was smart I would get the app it would just be waistline your time in life unless you don’t have a life then buy it go ahead I go on here every time and can see who does buys it and who deletes it or just doesn’t p.s I am deleting the app.

Works Great. Neighbors dogs are barking constantly. Found this app. It works! They literally whimper and stop barking and have been much quieter. I feel terrible doing it to them but I feel like I can go into my backyard without worrying about the dogs going crazy. It is actually quite nice back there.

Works good. This app works good cause we got a puppy 3 days agao and he responds really quick to the noice and makes him stop barking and winning even on low to high pitch noice...he does good...makes him calm down a bit witch I like. I am glad it works.

Just a whistle. I’ve used this several times all kinds of different frequencies on different dog my dog sitting right next to me it doesn’t even affect him lol it’s not worth it don’t waste your time I don’t know if the premium package works but I’m not going to waste my money because I’m sure it doesn’t they should at least give you a frequency that works and then give you the opportunity to continue to use it

Impressed. I was skeptical but this has been surprisingly effective. My neighbor’s dogs used to howl in unison every day at noon for upwards of 5 minutes and bark throughout the day for as much as an hour straight. Three or so weeks ago I started using this. I just open a window facing their house and blast this on 24khz at full volume until they stop. It rarely takes more than 15 seconds. Barking frequency and length are down sharply and they rarely bark at me when I’m in outside gardening. At this point I am only having to remind them 3-4 times a week who’s boss. What’s especially music to my ears is no longer hearing my wife get upset about barking.

Easy to use. This app works and it’s easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have an app for my Apple Watch for added usefulness and convenience. Also, I can adjust the frequency on my iPad but not on my iPhone 12 because the frequency bar is off-screen (extremely annoying).

Will not allow to use unless you agree to be tracked. I don’t know if this app is any good because you can’t move forward past the opening screen unless you allow them to track you. The button to not allow is there but it’s not active so when you click it, nothing happens. What a terrible idea! Especially when your trying to get downloads and there are so many other free options. I uninstalled immediately because of this.

Works great. I was parked at the truck stop for the evening, taking my 10 hour break. Before going into my sleeper bunk to sleep, I was sitting in my drivers seat killing time. Well this dog in the truck to my left, kept barking at me. So I put this app to the test. Let's say it's barks turned to a couple whimpers and it beelined into the sleeper bunk. Ahhh, peace and quiet.

Mistified. I didn’t want to be tackled with ads while attempting to use this. Thought $1.99 was worth that at least. However, it closes out at random now, while I’m using it. It always closes out when going thru the ‘training’ list. If you can call it that. I can’t. And the developer website is inexcusable to me. It’s highlighted, when you find it, but it’s a fake link. I’d like my puny $1.99 back just for that! If I can’t contact anyone about these issues the app is worth 1 star.

Shuts the yapping neighbor dogs up!. My neighbors dogs bark constantly but when I bust out the DogWhistle app it shuts them right up. They’ve began associating my screen door opening with the whistle and shut it down when they here me open it now.

Amazing!. Highly recommend it if you were trying to train a dog or teach a class. In my case it is teaching because I love animals. This app is save me a lot of time and money because I have gone through plenty of DogWhistle and I use this app 100 times more than I use an actual wrestle anymore. Highly recommended and I use this in my classes as well when I teach owners how to handle their new furry friends properly

Did not work. I decided to give this dog whistle a try because I got a new puppy and she CONSTANTLY whines, so I figured I'd give this a go to try and shut her up, and all it did was made her whine more. She just whines louder, right over top of it. I've tried different frequencies, I've tried pushing the button in quick succession a billion times, nothing works. It's useless. I'm pretty sure it hurt my ears more than it hurt hers. Do not download.

Doesn’t seem to do anything but better than the other apps. I tried 3 of the other top rated apps out there and this app seems to work best. However the results are mixed sometime it seems to work but, at other times it doesn t seem to work at all.

Does great. I give this 4 stars only because it doesn't seem to be effective in the highest ranges, but in the low to middle ranges, it works great. My neighbor's 5 dogs always come rushing toward us when we are outside, barking and snarling. They are mostly wanting attention, but they have adopted a pack mentality and keep barking as long as we, or they, are outside. I tried this app before I bought a real dog whistle. All you have to do is slowly adjust the slider as you have the app turned on, and you can hear the tone change. Find the tone that the dogs don't like, and they will leave! Remember - the app has volume control, so turn the volume to max. The dogs don't even bark at us anymore, and never run to the fence after us. I've also tested it on two dogs within my family. Both dogs, upon finding the proper pitch, have been irritated and left the area. One actually RAN from the area! None responded to the highest range, so I don't know if it's my phone's speaker that can't broadcast the pitch, or if it's the app. Either way, I found the pitch I needed and it has changed our relationship with the neighbor's mutts.

Good app. I give this app three stars. Because I try to get my dog to shake and it don’t work. But still this app is good it works. I have one dog and his name is Jagger and he is a King Charal Spanual dog and he is sooo cute. And he is very sweet. And this app is ok. But it’s not my favorite. I think if there were a few changes in the app it would be great. The changes I want are my dog to shake lay down sit and do all kinds of tricks. But I can’t teach him to because on the app you have to pay for the app to show you how to. But like I said, it’s not my favorite app but, it’s ok.

It WORKS. My dogs are great but when other dogs walk by or someone comes over they go mental barking. I have a Saint, Lab & Chihuahua. If I can get into my phone fast enough and I aim the speaker end of my phone at them they STOP barking. I was a skeptic but I'm quite impressed. I was a dog groomer for 13 years. I wish I had this back then!!

Now forced to see ad for stupid dog speech!!. I’ve had this app for more than 3 years and paid for removing ads. Now there is a stupid new “feature” that pretends to translate human speech to dog and it’s “premium” which means I have to pay MORE to remove these NEW ADS that play EVERY TIME I LAUNCH THE APP. Major ripoff. Uninstalled. NEVER coming back.

Stop Annoying Ads by Disconnecting WiFi/Data. The free version has terribly annoying ads frequently interrupting the operation of the frequency sound generator so you can ether pay to have the ads removed or disconnect your device from wifi/data and the ads cannot load. You may notice one ad slip through for it was previously downloaded but once that one is finished, you shouldn’t have to deal with any others. Take note that this app may be generating high frequencies but your device may not be able to produce them or your device audio output source (speaker) may not be capable of producing such high frequencies. Since human hearing typically goes as high as in the 20,000 Hz range, good speakers can go this high but typically not much higher since people would not be able to hear it. You may want to check the frequency response of your device and speaker to see if they are capable of generating the frequency sound you expect otherwise your dog may not be hearing what you think is being generated.

Eh😂. Only give it 5 star so this would show up in reviews. All this app did was scare the living hell out of my dog. He would leave my arms for at least an hour!! Not joking. I get like the worst person ever...

Problem. I downloaded the dog whistle and it wouldn’t be effective until it loaded ads so I paid $1.99 to get Premium lessons with no ads. I have been charged and there are no ads but if I try to see any lessons but #1 and 2 it just takes me out of the dog whistle app and back to my home page on my Apple iPad Pro. Is there anything that can be done to make me a premium member that I paid for?

Works great. I downloaded the app and it was easy to use right from the start, I have a dog whistle but not as convenient as my phone that I carry with me everywhere

Stopped barking almost immediately!. I just downloaded Dog Whistle about 30 minutes ago because my two dogs joined two of my adjacent neighbors’ dogs in a barking competition. I used it to correct the barking by putting Dog Whistle on continuous during the bark battle. All four dogs stopped immediately! Haven’t heard a peep from my neighbors’ dogs since and I’ve only had to use it on one of mine once! You could hear a pin drop on my brick patio now! THANK YOU DOG WHISTLE!!!!!!

Your teacher will hate you. This dog whistle app is truly annoying me and all of my friends have it away hooked it up to a speaker in the ceiling my teacher couldn’t find the person for four days until the speaker died it’s truly amazing I do not know how it works for dogs but that has not matter it brings some light and fun to the boring school day just don’t get caught

Great for People, too!. Much of the audio frequency spectrum is above human hearing, and that’s what this app uses for training your animal. You can’t hear it, but they can and it gets their attention. Younger humans, up to around 20-22 years CAN hear at a higher frequency since their ears aren’t as “worn out.” By setting this app just above what you can hear, that loud table next to you might feel a bit uncomfortable and decide to leave. They won’t know why, but they’ll just want to go elsewhere. If you ask me, that’s the best part of DogWhistle... training animals other than dogs! Great app for dogs, too! Thanks!!

Useless. Although the function itself is perfectly fine (it got my dog’s attention and helped to stop his barking/bad behaviors), the constant ads render this app useless. Right when you need it, an ad pops up and you can’t do anything until the ad allows you to close it. And if you need it over several seconds, the ads come up mid-use. This makes consistency in training impossible and is irritating in the extreme. There is no option to pay for no ads that I could find and it was not worth the space it took up on my phone. Deleted.

Neighbors’ dogs are so quiet it feels WRONG. I am not sure if I went overboard; but all of the dogs have permanently stopped barking. The dog next door kept barking defiantly until I turned up the volume. Poor dog! I hope I didn’t hurt him too bad. I just wanted TO SLEEP!

Didn’t work. I tried every level of the whistle and my Laptese puppy never even looked up! None of the whistles made any difference, so I guess I was fooled by the reviews! Almost everyone said how it stopped their dog from barking, even stopping the neighbors dogs, well maybe it’s just my puppy but I call BS on many of the reviews. Another thing, the ads weren’t as bad as people were making it out to be!! For the most part all I had to do was hit the X, I only had a few actual ads that I had to wait 5 seconds before Xing out, not that big of a problem, I even turned off my WiFi, I still only got the ads that all I had to do was X out, what’s the problem? The app itself doesn’t work, or should I say, doesn’t work on all dogs. I gotta say I was disappointed, I really wanted the app to work!!😪👎🏻✋🏻👈🏻🦶🏻🦶🏻

Coworkers. I have a bunch of meat head coworkers and this app has helped me too clear the break room in short order and since I have damaged hearing I can clear out the room in short order and not hear it they have no idea it’s me they think it’s the alarm on the fire suppression I love it

This whistle works…read the tips included. This is a good app, 1.99 one time and there is a guide explaining the way to make it work and how consistency pays off as you work with your dog in to using the whistle for training. Thanks for including the details and techniques.

Worked great. Didn't work at first but then I realized my volume wasn't up all the way. My dog didn't react to it once it got higher than around 9500 hertz. But lower than that, it worked great. She immediately stopped licking her paw when she heard it. We heard only the frequencies she heard/reacted to.

AWESOME but needs a WIDGET!. Great app. My dog is the best aside from the previously incessant barking. This fixed that. Took me a few tries to find the frequency that works best for my dog (3151Hz is the sweet spot!) Would give 5 stars if there was a widget for this!! Sometimes it takes too long to unlock my phone and get to the app. Would be very helpful if I could just swipe left and the button was right there.

Awesome Tool. Our neighbor is a nice guy but has 4 dogs that bark and howl every morning when he leaves for work and every time someone walks by the house. We've asked him about them and he tells us how happy and friendly they are when they bark. I downloaded this app and it works just like the program says it will. We have a nice, quiet neighborhood again thanks to this app.

Dog whistle. Dog whistle works pretty good. Wish developers offered at least a couple free training programs to work with you pet to see if the apps training methods are tried n true enough to warrant a purchase of premium account. But the bills have to be paid.

Really Works!. It works in the house from different floors & for neighbors dog which is about 20 feet away through window. They stop barking immediately. I hold it for 5 seconds so they get the message. Make sure ur volume is all the way up. Turn off Cellular Data for this app or it will randomly play adds when ur trying to train dog. (I wonder if it would scare off the Coyotes?)

Miracle Worker!. This dog whistle got my dog to do anything I wanted her to! She always runs downstairs and poops up there, and it ruins the carpet, so I got this dog whistle and when she ran up there, I pressed it on about 1345, and she dropped to the ground, rolled over several times and bolted back down, I stopped pressing it and she looked at me and I pressed it again even higher pitch and she ran to her crate and sat there!! It was unbelievable! Great whistle app I highly recommend. Just maybe unlock some training methods, not all just a few? Thanks!!😝😃

Perfect. My grandpa got a second bulldog puppy and she whines all night, so I decided to search for apps to use and this app worked perfectly it has been 3 minutes and she still quiet

Nope. It won't let me submit Unless I rate it well- but upgrade is a waste of money. It tells you nothing for training your dog and doesn't even use the whistle in said training. Go to google instead! The whistle isn't bad though.

My dog has a hard time coming in but I let him out to go to the bathroom and as soon as I press the button he comes straight back into the house it’s literally amazing I’d rather this app on my phone then having to get a real whistle because they’re so tiny and easily lost but your phone you don’t lose it that much so it’s much better

No Instructions For Use. I'm not sure if this even works for my dog. I have it turned on but she's still barking. There are no instructions as to range or whether the app works in the background. Actually, they do not have any instructions in this app! For now it's 1 star, maybe if it's updated I'll adjust accordingly.

I love this app 😍. The dog whistle does not work on my hound dog but I do like the idea of stick app whoever made it was brilliant. So it’s a good thing that there’s no in app purchases. But I really like the idea it’s like the best Dog whistle ever!🐶.

Controlling barking. Pairing whistle with commands can be very effective. Just be sure not to over due the high pitch sound. It really does disturb them hearing if it is left on. The continuous option should have an automatic release.

Doesn't work. My dogs don't even look around. At ANY level. And they are usually super attentive. I'm rating high to see if it gives me more options.

Garbaldy. We have a bothersome dog, that likes to bark and bark and bark and bark. I downloaded this app and every time he barked I would hit the manual button. He eventually got the hint and stop barking.

Puts Ads Over Important Tools! Don’t download!. This app has two functions: 1) An on/off switch for the whistle AND 2) A sliding frequency adjuster. Someone decided to put a Google Ad banner over the adjuster. Thanks but no thanks!

Advertising is a little misleading.. I see on the advertising atore cover to stop barking dog but after you purchase and look around you just change the frequency to what we are assuming might be the trick but not because it has a pre programmed one like it made it seem.

Gets what's promised. Better than some others that don't function and the feature for continued whistling is nice. It works 100% of the time.

Neighborhood barker. Our neighbor lives on the corner of two through streets in our neighborhood of walkers, other dogs being walked, bicyclists etc., and ties their dog to the tree less than 4 ft from the road. He barks constantly. This app has really helped!

Works!. Downloaded a different dog whistle and it made no difference. When I used this app my dog suddenly stopped barking and looked around. I wanted to interrupt her behavior and this did exactly what I wanted

Great aid in dog training. This whistle is a great training aid that has helped me get my active pups attention and keep her focused on training tasks. It has also helped prompt her in remembering what she should be doing.

useless. Used to use this daily until something in the UI changed and now everything takes up more space, so the slider is under the ad spot. You can’t move the slider so it’s now completely useless.

Worthless App. Does not work at all. I have 5 dogs. Not one of them reacted when I used this worthless app. I even put my device speaker up to all of my dogs’ ears while activating the “sound” of the app, and got no response from any of them. I tried multiple frequency settings as well. Glad this app was free.

Awsome work. This app helped my dog become a better dog like she lays down now, she stops barking, she stops jumping on me and my friends. She has been showing me so much progress that I am very proud of her

Might as well call it an ad app. Because the adds don’t go away and they cover the frequency bar. You can’t change the frequency for the ads so the only thing the app is good for is ads. Prior to this update, it worked really well. I’m deleting it now since the ads have made it useless.

Must allow ads to open app. Since apple Required apps to ask for permission to serve personalized ads, this app won’t even allow you to tap “ask not to track”, won’t proceed through initial setup without allowing it to track. If you don’t want your activity tracked, you literally can’t use it. Hard pass for me.

Works Great. My mother in law had to move in with us along with her dog that barks constantly. Took about a week to shut her up. Best part is no one knows how I did it.

Great value!. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on clickers that never seem to be where I need them - having it on my phone is brilliant! Works on my 2 dogs great!!!

Finally relief from constant barking!. Our neighbors dogs bark constantly when anyone walks by. This stopped them immediately.

Creat a widget. So far I just downloaded the app and seems to get my dogs attention. Please create a widget so when dogs are barking like crazy we dont have to try and unlock phone, open app, wait for ads to stop. By then im screaming at my dogs. Lol.

What the what the what is this? 😋. I just got a phone and for once I could get games without needing permission.I went crazy and got this plus about 6 more games. I haven't used it my either of my 2 dogs, but it sure is making my ears bleed. 😋

Ok😒. This app is ok, my dogs don't seem to care even at the highest frequency! I'm not sure it does any thing but if maybe it worked better I wouldn't have deleted it almost immediately.

Nice Dog. I don’t understand the technology but after I turn this on and off no more barking in the neighborhood.

Thank you very much. My IPhone 7 is broken. Had a lot of fun with the app, but after playing around with it, I listened to music and the speaker was wrecked!😡 it kept on malfunctioning to the point where the phone was glitching. Beware iPhone 7 users, don't crank it up to high.

Dog trainer app. I love this I talk so much and I should totally listen to me and also my other dog got train to I love this so much and I recommend it to everyone

Dog whistle? It’s a kid whistle. My dog doesn’t react to it but my two daughters go crazy when it’s on. Most adults won’t hear it above 18k but the kids will. I have a lot of fun with this around them 🤣

Problem on new phone. The interface on my iPhone 13 makes this unusable as it’s enlarged and all the controls are not visible or accessible now. Shame I like this app a lot.

Bad layout. I liked this at first and was trying to train my dogs. But now the Google ads are right over the slider bar and I can't change it. Would be good if the ad was placed elsewhere.

Worthless. Holy crap what a piece of crap. Impossible to use. The ap literally jams you with nonstop ads everytime you try to use the whistle. By pushing the whistle button you literally are saying send me nonstop ads. For the few seconds that I got the whistle to work in between continuous flow of ads, dogs did not respond at all.

Selection incorrect. Check it enough when I put it to the microphone to my to hear my dogs didn’t give me a specific answer and keep looking for me it was I didn’t translate correctly

Didn’t work at all. After reading reviews decided to try downloaded went to press whistle at low level in close range of our dog.....nothing....kept moving level higher to the highest no reaction at all. Disappointed

Good working. It actually works my dog is going in circles when ever I would play it.

Good but ads are so annoying. The app is great it makes my dog shut up when they keep barking. I have a chihuahua puppy so her barks make my ears bleed it’s like a teacher scratching their nail against a white board

What’s wrong with screen???!!!. This used to work but now the screen is huge and I can’t select the volume level because it’s to close to bottom of screen.

Dog owner. Amazing, I have a Doberman with super hearing and she would bark at night if she heard a leaf fall but not any more. After two whistles she sleeps through the night like a baby.

Works great. So happy we found this app! Works fabulous for our 3 little dogs! We don’t really use it for training, just to keep the barking down!

App doesn’t fit phone screen. I can’t change the frequency in the app because it doesn’t fit the iPhone 12 screen. When you open the app everything is zoomed in. On top of the app being zoomed in it is littered with ads. Get a different app if your looking for one.
