Magic Poser - Art Pose Tool Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Please read. I used this app on an old tablet and phone years ago. It was absolutely wonderful for art reference poses. It helped me and saved me a lot of time and the different people and objects you could use was amazing. I recently started getting into digital art because I felt confident in trying it. I remember how this app used to help so I figured I would download it. I read some reviews and just hope for the best. When I used it before, almost everything was free and anything you did want you used coins. So when I download it this time, imagine my surprise to find that the only model you have is a buff, realistic man. And you pay a monthly subscription to even have access to the basics. At the very least make the woman free too. I understand that you need money but this is just money hungry. Everything is paid for. I am genuinely so disappointed in this. I draw mainly feminine characters and cannot find a good model app for the life of me that doesn’t require me to use my bank account to use it. I’ll watch ads all day. But I’m not gonna pay $10 or $15 to use a single model for something. I’ll just trace a free pose on google and make do. Incredibly disappointing that an app this good is now just a wallet drainer. Its still a great modeling app but only if you intend to use it to base your athletic men ideas.

Fantastic for artists. Best app I’ve ever used for modeling purposes or quick references on body proportions. The developers are consistently putting out new and useful features. The new skin tones are a nice touch, along with the ambient lighting effects. The amount of different sized figures is of great variety. And of course, it’s super simple to use. Click and Drag. Fine tuning the fingers and joints is smooth. The app used to have a stability issue for me, but it’s been cleared up through the updates, and I’m so glad the developers have continued to improve this app. I mostly work in Fine Art, but lately, I’ve taken up manga style illustrations and other digital projects. I am very new to working digitally, but this has been an irreplaceable part of my routine now in drawing chibis and character sketches in general. It’s also spilled into my Traditional painting routine with the lighting system for when I need a general reference on a body part. It won’t replace a real model for a Fine Artist, but it will replace that posing doll.

Don’t get this app, very poor support service……... I had to wait a couple of days just for Magic poser support to finally “acknowledge” my question about the use of User content posted on the community page. Like when using a scene posted by a user on the community page for an art reference should they be given attribution? Or is no attribution needed? So……….after waiting days for a response, instead of answering my question themselves they just sent me a link to their “Terms of Service “ And basically told me they don’t know and I should talk to a legal team for my case……..I just asked about attribution, commercial, and professional use of community user content. Like, how do you not know the exact use of your company’s User Content? Like the workings of their support system just seems lazy to me. It’s like going to a doctor to see what’s wrong with your body and the doctor just looks at you and says “Hmmm, I don’t know.” And ends up giving you a link to a random google article of what you “might have” . I loved this app, but I am highly disappointed in their support team when it comes to asking about the use of service. Maybe I’ll just avoid using any community scenes as tools or references for my art, but at the same time this just made me want to avoid the whole app altogether just to be safe.

It’s the easiest one to pose from scratch. Dev is working hard to make this app excellent, it’s not perfect but it’s well worth the price and probably the easiest one to pose from scratch. If you’re like me you have a few of these poser apps and use whichever one suits your current need. If there’s something in another app’s library that’s close to what I want, I use it but if I have to start fresh, this is my go to 3D pose app. I only use the realistic male and female models. Update: Dev has commented that sportswear default will be addressed. My rating updated to 5 stars for good developer response. 2nd Update: I see that hair has been added as an option. It’s not that versatile and is really only a women’s hairstyle selection but it’s not bad for what it is. I’m not going to change my 5 star rating, the developer is definitely trying to improve this app and you do get your money’s worth. 3rd Update: This app isn’t perfect BUT I will say that although I have a number of 3D pose apps I use, this is the easiest and most intuitive one for actually posing from scratch. That’s huge. I wish the sportswear would stay off and there were body type options as well as more hair choices, but the dev does respond to feedback so I’m sticking with 5 stars. 4th Update: The new color thing is fun but I really wish I could toggle that annoying sportswear thing to STAY OFF. My major peeve, besides that it’s my go-to posing app because it’s easy to control.

Rather pay for clip studio/ Can’t even give it a real score. 0. I had bought multiple models, and while I still technically have access to them, the scenes I created are no longer accessible due to this update. I had updates turned off so I didn’t know the criminal actions taking place would require me to pay more money for what I already had. Unacceptable and unprofessional. The “loyalty reward” had an expiration date for June 1st so when I finally updated I was already sitting on an expired token. I’m not contacting support for this con scheme. This app is deleted and never coming back which is sad because I consider myself a whale when it comes to micro transactions, I.e. spending 1,500 usd in a day on a single game or app. The difference between them and this? I wasn’t tricked into it. Nope I won’t be coming back to this and no amount of justification can amount to why you just didn’t make a magic poser 2. It’s obvious you wanted to lock people out and force them with the decision of pay or leave. I recommend this to no one and should blacklist this from their social groups. Anyone who wants to pay for an app like this I recommend clip studio as it’s more anatomical and as a plus you could trace it.

Female free model. I really like this app for references, and it definitely *could* save time instead of taking pictures, but honestly without a female model, i might as well just take my own reference pictures anyway. The lack of a free female model might scare me away from the app mainly because that’s the reason I wanted to download it. I saw in another reply you said that it would scare people from buying the pro version, but lots of people like me don’t have the money to afford a subscription, and it’s very inconvenient. I think if you JUST added the female model to the free version and nothing else that’s pro, you’ll have a lot less complaints, but you will still have lots of people buying pro for the other useful features. Many artists like me like to draw less muscular, more feminine figures, and it’s very much a hassle to manually subtract the muscle mass from your male figure. In the end, I think you’d have more people using the app, which is more potential customers in the future, if you made the female model free to use. I think it would be a really beneficial investment.

Great app, until you try something more complicated.. So as far as the features of the app and the way it works it’s great, but the app pales in comparison to other free resources one could use on a computer. The joints and selection of objects seems very “grabby”. For example I will try to rotate the camera and then move my entire model out of frame despite me having taped on a portion of the screen that is just the background. This is just personal preference but the rotation of the joints should be on a number scale. It won’t look as clean but it provides more precise movement and allows for users to easily understand which way something is moving. It could be put in a separate menu (similar to the scale) so that it’s there for those who want it. The hip moves erratically causing any slight variation done without the rotate feature to mangle the lower back. The movement along an axis single is very difficult and will often take multiple times to get to the desired position as it moves in was you wouldn’t expect. For example if you have your camera on a side profile view then tried to move a joint along the X axis it would often move some on the Z axis as well.

Incredible app but deserves more. It is really good but deserves a bit more features. I had a blast playing with the models and just being creative in general. I love how there is a P40 Warhawk (fighter plane) a Soviet and German outfit and also guns because I’m a person who likes to make historical films. The app is incredible but it deserves a few features. I think they should add a stop motion feature so the app and hard work is actually worth it. A customization option for the characters would also be pretty reasonable for the time consuming project along with stop motion feature. (Add military helmets while you’re at it) I also found it frustrating that when I place a environment, it’s more difficult to move the camera around. I also feel like the skin colors aren’t really realistic or just not in the right spots (I’m aware that I might be asking for too much but these are just some suggestions that would make me and other users very happy) Thank you for your time

Good but too expensive.. This was and is the best thing I have ever used to learn now to draw art in different perspectives. But as a person who makes minimum wage and is living paycheck to paycheck, this is just too much with the new payment things. When I would buy coins to get all the features before, it was easy because I can just over time select added new things I wanted without it feeling like it drained my account. But now just to have access to more that 1 character or anything actually needed for something that’s a bigger project I need which I probably have to do 1-2 times a month, I have to pay $15 basically. I can’t afford $15 to use one thing and sadly have to look for other options. Aside from pricing, I was the most satisfied and amazed and happiest with everything there was. I’d give it a 5 star rating if not the overpricing. Which I get, it’s a team making this. But at this point I feel like the company would genuinely use users because of the pricing rather than make it a consistent larger one time payment for master or have a $3-$5 monthly subscription which I absolutely would do without hesitation. As a person who knows business and used to work with my mother who owned a business as well. This was a bad move pricing it so high every month especially for users like myself who can never keep up thus losing in the end. It makes me actually feel devastated and sad I can’t keep using it because I can’t afford it.

Used to be the best. I loved this app for quick poses, practice, and corrections while working on my iPad, but the free version feels like a punishment now for not being able to afford the paid version. I don’t mind apps having a paid subscription, but it went from some limitations to now only being able to use 2 model types with extremely limited rigging and it’s not worth it anymore. Every time I open it, there’s an original feature that’s been taken away. My old models and poses are now locked, I can’t access anything without a redirect to the paid, it doesn’t feel great. I would have preferred keeping the original and adding the additional features with continuous features being added to temp users to the paid, vs completely stripping the original app itself to be usable. Well aware that apps and hosting are very expensive to keep up with and run, let alone maintenance costs and updates. But personally I would have been more alright with watching full screen take over ads every few minutes of posing, in addition to the option of a paid subscription for long time users of the original app. Not this extremely stripped down version of punishment.

Idk. I understand the reviews that are upset about the new subscription and the one time fee because I had used this app for quite awhile when I was starting out and it is still one of my favorites because it is one of the rare apps that had the ability to add more than one character out of all the paid and free apps. However running something of this capacity seems expensive and I can understand putting a paywall. It would be nice if there was some variety added to the furniture once it was paywalled though. The controls while still very similar are slightly harder to see (I might just be blind) it would be nice if there was an option to change the joints shape and color back to the original color and shape. I don’t mind the paywall and the new customizations are great I do wish the individual limbs could be more customizable maybe even have some be removable and maybe be able to change the height of the characters. Otherwise it’s a great app and I would and have recommended it to multiple friends 👍. Slight edit: I would like to add that locking the joints would also be a helpful feature. Also the drop feature is cool but the characters phase through objects when it’s clicked

The app is not as accessible anymore , i am sorry. i really liked this app before the new update … the system with coins and rewards by checking in daily , being able to add multiple characters . With update there is non of such thing as far as i see and it very disappointing to me , because i can’t afford subscription and this app became pretty much useless to me … and the fact that i just lost access to my scenes with multiple characters after trial time has expired, is very very sad because there is quiet a lot . It would be nice if i can download them at least to use somewhere else but this future is available with even higher priced subscription. SUGGESTION: Very disappointing, but it’s understandable because creators need resources to keep this app going and in my opinion ad system would be much better , for example : watch ad to add 1 more character to a scene, watch add to open scene with multiple characters. I hope your business blooms and all …but i had to find something else more assessable for artist who yet don’t have income - to be able to afford using this app. update : i didn’t know that pro version is one time fee , which is much better :)) yet still can’t afford it

Love this app; couple suggestions... I love it because I'm finally able to visualize what I've seen in my head for years but have never been able to draw, and now I can finally see it in front of me too. Couple suggestions though, it might be nice to have to touch/select the subject before you can move them, because half the time I'm panning the scene and happen to move my finger across a subject, and it just moves them with my finger when I never wanted to move them.. Another thing, it would be nice if there were an option to make the ground "firm", so that if someone was laying on the ground, this would show you the body "mechanics" of those body parts against the ground, rather than going through the ground like it does now, so it's harder to keep the subjects on the same "level" if that makes sense.. Otherwise, pretty cool app with realistic body figures so I can finally visualize what's always been in my head, and it looks so life-like too-- which is nice compared to the stick figures that don't show muscles, etc...

Good but has some big limitations. I love that this app is so easy to use, and that it has a variety of models and preset poses! The affordable $10 one-time fee version gives me everything I need without paying the expensive monthly subscription. The biggest thing that excited me about it was the body morph function, where you can adjust "muscle," "fat," and "skinny" sliders on the standard model. Being able to use this to account for body size before drawing is a huge asset. However, the sliders don't function well in combination with each other. The most common problem I have is that if I want to increase the muscle mass of a fat model, instead of changing their proportions it just slaps contoured abs on top of their belly😭 I pretty much just use the fat slider and ignore the other two, but I really hoped I could use them all together to achieve a realistic range of unique proportions. I hope the devs work to improve this. The other problem I have is how badly it handles shoulders. There is no way to move the shoulderblade and collarbone, and it really shows in poses with raised arms, even the pre-set ones. It's a pretty important and complex area of the body to render, so it's a little annoying to have an anatomy reference that can't pose it correctly.

LOVE THIS,but…. Huge upgrade from the previous app however I agree with the majority about the whole pro and master thing. I did buy the pro version for the sake of being able to use the body morphs but I feel the master should also be a one time charge, any small updates of added models could be free or saving a huge pack of models for another one time charge. I don’t know how developers work or the pricing but maybe take it to consideration? Regardless this app is amazing! But I do wish for some things added in the future. Example more models maybe like children of different ages teen, child, toddler, baby. And animals? That would be a huge game changer with the the mechanics of the models! I haven’t found a single pose maker app with good animal models or mechanics to pose them. So if someday y’all did, I’d absolutely pay for that expansion pack. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see what you bring to the table!

It’s a good app.. I just wish they would maybe consider lowering the subscription cost. It costs almost as much as Photoshop or Netflix per month, which I and a lot of other artists can’t afford. I liked the one-time purchase but I hope that they will add more models to it in the future because it doesn’t feel exactly worth it for +3 models. I was mad at first but I understand why they would put up a paywall now because it’s expensive to develop and you have to make money somehow. I just hope that they’ll consider lowering the subscription cost. If you’re reading this thank you. Aside from that the new update looks good. It’s satisfying to look at and runs smoothly. I love the new icon/logo and I’m beyond excited to see further development. More feedback regarding the models: The stylized models could use more definition especially in the torso and the realistic male models need bigger arms to fit their bodies more, I feel like they’re too skinny. Also the stylized male model(and maybe female) does this weird thing where the ribcage juts out and it looks kinda funky. You also can’t move the knees up to the chest.

I’ve been using this app for a long time and I’m disappointed. Like I’ve said I’ve been using this app for a very long time and I’ve wasted a lot of money on it i’ve always like this app ever since I got it but I am little disappointed in the update although I love it and I’m proud to see the improvement, but I am upset at how much money I’ve wasted. And i’m disappointed how it offers a boy but not a girl and there’s not really much you can do, you can’t add more characters you’re just stuck with one, it’s kind of like forcing you to buy The the master. I don’t like the price on the one day thing now if it was a week I would understand but a day that’s what I don’t understand now when it comes to the master that’s a very reasonable price for every month I just don’t like the day one I just don’t understand why it’s like that. I’m very happy to see the improvement but just a little disappointed with the update I prefer the old one much better than new one, at least than you had more to choose from when it comes to characters and you weren’t force to have just one character. Overall I really really really love this app and I hope you can improve in some areas that need improvement thank you for listening!!!

Feel Left Out. Recently like many, I have been slowly recovering from the disaster the past few years have been. Having used this app for a long time on my old device I thought it would be great to purchase all the assets for my new device….. but then the pay structure changed. I understand that the developers must survive, however there should be a way to purchase flat out all the assets and 3D exporting feature without a constant subscription. I know many fellow colleagues in my office that think this same way. They will purchase apps and features for $25-$50 one time fee, but will never think about a constant subscription, even to something $3-$5 a month. The old coin pay structure was messy, however permanently owning features of a program is the most important thing for me when looking at apps. I would spend more money on this app, or even consider the subscription if the structure was different. The subscription should give you the full app, 100% of all current, and FUTURE features. Maybe even a dedicated support line. However you should be able to purchase the current “master” features at a higher one time price. This would give someone who cannot spend much the ability to access all features through the monthly plan. And give business professionals the ability to outright purchase for a higher one time price the current features. Please change this! Thank you.

Horrible. I used to use this app a lot because it was extremely helpful and simple and there were a lot of features. With this new stupid update I can’t even access my old poses because you can only use one character at a time now. I can’t export the image without the background anymore, and the past characters that I bought are no longer available to me and I have to buy them again. I understand that your app is not meant to be completely free. That’s completely valid. but why are you making things cost money that you gave to us for free in the past and why are you making us re pay for previously unlocked characters? Went from a solid app to a greedy app. And listen I see that you’re replying to everybody with this exact same complaint with a copy and pasted thing about “oh you’re an old user so you still have everything you had before” if that was the case no one would be complaining. If you’re just going to reply with that don’t bother interacting with my review. Give me my old poses, let me take the background off my pictures, and let me add more than one person to my scene.

Adore it, love it, couldn’t live without it. I absolutely love this program. I’ve been using it for a while, but after the update earlier this year with weight\muscle\lighting options it’s become indispensable for me. I use it for my art and comics and it’s helped speed up my process so much! I’m not sure why people are upset about the update and ‘missing out’ on old features that were standard with the free version. The free version is the exact same as it was, but for a single payment you can do the basic upgrade and that’s a massive bargain for all the additional content! The only thing I hope gets fixed in an update soon isn’t app breaking or anything but can drive me a bit bonkers. The Elle 3 model has a parenting issue with her knee aims I think so when lowering her by the hip or moving her legs by the feet joints her knees will spread wide open instead of staying straight. That means if I want to move the leg just slightly up or down I’m going to have to fix the knee too because it’ll swing out to the side. I can get around it by relying on FK movements instead but it’s just something small I hope get touched up.

Don’t like this purchase idea. Hi! I hate leaving negative reviews, but I am trying to work on an art project on IBSpaint, so I downloaded this app, I needed to add one more person for this project but it wouldn’t let me and told me to go pro, the price is just expensive for me, and I’m just a kid. I recently deleted the app dew to not being able to really do anything without pro, but another reason why the price is ridiculous is because it used to be free, I had this app on a different device I eventually got rid of, and I had access to EVERYTHING. let’s just say that this app was really great before you guys put in the pro, and master stuff. Btw, I don’t want the developers to fully change the game, I am just putting this out there for other people to see if they don’t know if they want this app. Btw, I hope developers will come to on this, because I just don’t get it. But some good things are that you guys did great with the fake people. And also you can add props! That’s great! Just the only thing I need to understand is, what’s the purpose of pro, it’s basically like the old free version? So what’s the point? I know this is a long comment but I hope developers will reach out to me. If you read all of this, thank you! And I hope you all understand why I wrote this! Thank you! :) -your customer

🙃 From FREE to $9.99 🙃. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I’m peeved. I’ve been using this app for a year now, and I’ve loved every bit of it! Sure some joints were a little buggy, and maybe the asset store was a little clunky, but these and a lot of other small things got patched over time - all in all, a super useful and well maintained app! However! Many of the main features I was MOST DEFINITELY not alone in finding crucial to the art process, features that were not long ago COMPLETELY free, and not even locked behind a login, are now behind a paywall. The thing is, I don’t mind paying for apps. I don’t mind subscription based pay models for premium access and additional features, within reason. What I DO mind is having things I’ve come to rely on (adding two actors to a scene, being able to pose more than ONE gender and body type, etc) being taken back and locked behind the whole “we need to pay our devs” thing. If you’re really hurting for profit, that’s what adding new content and pay tiers is for; and maybe controversially (but STILL better than what is being pulled here), upping existing prices, going from a one time to a sub model, moving already paid content behind a higher pay tier, just to name a few common monetization approaches. I absolutely understand the desire to milk an app’s popularity in a niche market to heck and back, but I can very confidently say this WAS NOT the way to do it.

🥲. So I am in love with making art, but body’s are just not easy for me. I searched up videos on how to help me make a WEBTOON and one showed you app, and it looked really easy! It would be easy for me if you didn’t charge money for litterlay almost everything. 🤨 I could only access a boy body and when I tried to edit them guess what it said. It said that it was a pro feature. I don’t have any problem with apps that charge money, but when it is almost everything there. My character I want to draw is a female, and I don’t want to pay money that I don’t have for a body. A lot of the things that costed money were stupid as well. I really am upset that you guys didn’t take in a lot of consideration that some people don’t have the money to pay for theese things, and monthly. You might as well make the app cost money so people don’t download it thinking at least there will be two free gender bodies. I was really upset about this too, maybe one day I will be able to pay for it, but it will definitely not be in the near future. I’m not sending this review for mean purposes, just to show my opinion. I’m sure the app is great, just know, a lot of people can’t spend money on this. :) ✋🏻

Kind of screwed yourself on the update. I’ve been using this for almost a year—it was reliable, and with time, free of charge for props with those generous daily check ins. It has so many more props than almost all other posing apps, decent models, tools, and I’ve used it to reference 50+ drawings and sketches over time. And then, the update. I was thrilled seeing my friends post about the new body morphing function along with far greater detail lovingly put into the models. I raced over to my tablet to update it, opened it, only to find myself locked out of certain poses, props, and more. And the only solution? Money. Not 99 cents for a hundred coins, not check in every couple days for wombat coins, but straight cash. And it gave me the Pro version because I’d already spent some on it, so that means those without Pro or Master are locked out of even more stuff! And, less concerning, but the models still definitely have issues. With the more muscular Arnold one, the Latissimus Doris muscle—the one just beneath the armpit—blows widely out of proportion when you raise the arms. The folds of the bodies are strange and glitchy, and while I do appreciate the new drag-to-move feature, it constantly either barely senses the touch or thinks my finger moved 7 miles away. The rotating function(s) are funky, too.

Sudden monetization of previously free assets. I used to use this app RELIGIOUSLY a year ago I believe and I really like this app. Sure there were in app purchases but you could create any prop you needed with shapes if you were really inclined to spend more time there. It was early in development so it was understandable, I loved the community because many people had made poses that anyone could access and I found that extremely helpful as a young artist. Recently I came back to this app since I couldn’t find the pose I wanted to draw and I was immediately really confused. Everything was locked by subscriptions, even the 5 models that came FREE upon download had gone to THE MOST EXPENSIVE SUBSCRIPTION. Now I’m not crass, I know to run an app like this you need money however completely handicapping your users is not how you do that! If you want to monetize I suggest giving NEW high quality features like the fat measures, maybe more accessories, props and possibly more preset rooms. The female model should NOT be paid locked… a male and female model is bare minimum needed yet apparently to draw women correctly you need to pay? It does not look good. I apologize for my strong message but I feel that the developers are not listening to the will of the consumers. I hope one day you make it clear that most of the advertising is behind a paywall.

Mostly perfect for what I need. I’ve been using this app for awhile to help me create poses and scenes that I can view at a variety of angles to see whether or not I like the concept much faster than if I were to sketch it out. In many instances I find that I’m able to come up with ideas that would be much harder for me to draw depending on the perspective needed to make the image work, so this takes a lot of the guesswork out. Personally, I like this app quite a lot and does generally everything I need it to do. The only thing I wish that I could do is to be able to morph the characters so I can create a variety between the characters. I generally use the realistic male and female characters since most of my work tends towards the realism, so being able to morph body proportions would be really nice to have as a feature. Also, one other thing that I think would make this app better is the ability to also change the characters facial features to show expressions, that would be an awesome way I believe to make this app even more useful for people trying to plan out a scene when characters are interacting with one another. Aside from that, I really do love this app and I plan to continue using it to help me plan out my scenes. Thank you to the developers for your work on this awesome app, and I look forward to seeing more improvements in the future!

I absolutely love this app!. I love this app as a free utility for my art and it has helped me grow so much as an artist. As much as I love how many things are offered in the app, I would love to see a few more features! My ideas are models with different weights rather than ones with perfect physiques. I find it difficult to portray skinnier or fatter characters going off of the provided models. Adjustable bust size would also be useful for female characters with flatter chests (I find the standard female body’s chest to get in the way of the arms in certain perspective shots). I also think it would be cool if there was a simple wire skeleton model, which could be more useful for stylized art. I would also love to see some animal models, especially more complex looking animals like horses, which are a pain to draw. Another thing that would be cool is player made models available for downloading, like props and models. I’m not sure how that could be accomplished, but I know that the app has such a strong user base that it might be a possibility. Overall, I really love this app and I can’t wait to see what comes in future updates! 💖

Absolutely Amazing. I’m going to sound like an old lady, but I remember having to struggle through Poser 3D in the early 2000’s on my big grey PC to try to get good references for my drawings. I simply can’t believe even how far this app itself has come just from the past few years that I’ve had it. I’m really glad you all are making something like this available to artists out there. You all probably struggled through complicated computer programs just like I did when I was little, and now you’ve made something so easily available to all of us. I know a lot of people complain about paying for it, and I know times are hard for everyone money wise, but I am very grateful to be paying you all to provide this program to artists everywhere. I’ve realized that the difficulty of learning art can make lots of budding artists lose hope, but with this app, I feel like you will bring hope and encouragement to so many people!

Eh, it’s still alright. I got a chance to try out the pro-version for a month. I thought I was gonna be upset and join the hate-bandwagon after reading a lot of bad reviews for this, but seeing as the pro-version is a one time fee for my basic needs, I think it’s worth it. I’m not too sure about the master version yet, Especially because ( in this economy) I can’t afford anymore subscription services. The biggest realizations I had while using this app: Work with the limitations provided. I think some people expect too much and rely too heavily on this app for ALL their needs. This shouldn’t be the only source for everything. This is only a study tool to help visualize poses at different angles. At least that’s how I used it. I used this app alongside photo references if a picture I was sketching from had a pose that was too confusing. I know a lot of people are upset about the update changes, it’s extremely infuriating. A lot of things that used to be freely available are now behind a paywall (Example: the option to have more than one model per scene). I agree with others that the female model should be a part of the free version though. Maybe have an option to choose between the two models before opening a new scene.

Amazing app with some hindering glitches. If it wasn’t for the multiple glitches in the app, I would give it a full five stars. This is by far the best posing app on ios. A variety of models and props to choose from. Posing them is very easy and intuitive. You can download others scenes and save them, you can save your own scenes and poses. You can bring any saved scene into another and combine them. You can bring single character scenes to spice up a crowd in the background. The possibilities are limitless. You can even change lighting! Unfortunately, sometimes things refuse to load such as the online user pose downloads, in app model store, and even your own poses. And this can also affect bringing other poses into your scene. Sometimes it even freezes up when it cannot load another scene within a scene. Thus, forcing you to restart the app. There is no way to fix this, even restarting your iPad doesn’t fix the problem. This may hinder your workflow severely, and can take precious time away from artwork, especially if you’re on a tight deadline of some sort. It’s not a perfect app, but when it wants to work, it’s an absolute Godsend.

Disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, i love this app, one of the best ones i’ve been able to find, but this new update has been disappointing. As someone who mainly draws women seeing that you have to pay $10 just to have access to female models was quite a shock, having at least one male and one female model for free should be the bare minimum. One of the amazing things about this app is how affordable it is compared to others (it still is cheap but compared to the original price its kind of a shock) and how you got so many models for free, and now you have to pay just to have the female version of one model. I understand the need for apps to make money, and i’d be ok if they switched to only one type of model, but it feels pretty ridiculous that you have to pay just to have a female model. If i didn’t already have this app from before i probably wouldn’t get it, because i’m not in a very good financial situation and can’t afford to spend $10 on an app. It’s still a good app overall, and it has really helped me in the past year or two since i’ve had it, but i am very disappointed with this new update.

After using the app more to try and get poses, I am not changing my mind.. I wrote a review for this after the update, and i got a generic reply, saying “oh, this was the best business model for us and users.” Well, I actually decided to try the app more. Files I was able to access before with the models I paid with wombatcoins? Unable to access them. Literally everything in the community tab? Unable to. I understand wanting to be more profitable and give more quality of life updates, but this is too far. Wouldn’t it have been better to just. Idk, make a new version of the app? And funny thing is, lots of people suggested things like different body types other than just differences in art styles, and those are nowhere to be found. Well, if they were, once again, locked behind a paywall. I’m still super disappointed. I got this app because it didn’t require spending real money in order to have basic features (as a starving artist, this was a game changer), and although it was hard to pose at times, the community provided. We provided for each other, not just those who paid. This was the only app I knew of this kind, desktop or mobile, that didn’t have unreasonable prices for the bare minimum. I am not recommending this to my fellow artist friends anymore. Sorry. Update: I found that I could access some of my files. Most of them, no.

Sad :( (updated review). (Original, see bottom for update, I misunderstood) I love this app and don’t get me wrong the update is great mostly, I don’t need a bunch of fancy add ons and it works a lot more smoothly now… HOWEVER, I am upset with the fact the only free default model is male. This feels very unfair and honestly a little sexist that the default free one is male and male only. Used two there were male and female defaults but I have to pay to get a female model? That doesn’t feel right. I think there should be at least ONE free male AND female model each- otherwise it just rubs me the wrong way. The add ons costing money is one thing, those are just fun additions but to have to pay for what should be a default female model doesn’t feel fair, not everyone wants to draw a dude. Otherwise though I like everything else. Update/edit: I was wrong, my app was wonky when I redownloaded and the female preset had to be redownloaded as well! That is totally my bad and I apologize for the misunderstanding! The preset that popped up next to the male default was one I had to pay for- hence the confusion, but after doing some digging and downloading the original female default all is well!

I’ve reviewed this before- but there’s more I’d like to see. Just as the title says, I’ve posted a review before, and yes- some of what I’ve wanted to see has been added. Thanks for the toe bend option! However, I’d like to see multiple lighting options. Different sources, colour options as well as an option for more than one source. Also, adding wings, horns, tails, etc to the models would be really helpful because have you tried drawing horns in perspective? That’s HARD af. Is there a way to gain wombat coins without buying them? I’m not sure there is, so if I’m right, maybe watching an ad (because these lovely people need to make money somehow) for coins would allow us broke artists to unlock more models to use. I love this app and the fact that it’s free is absolutely amazing. The developers are nice and (often) reply to comments, so I really hope they see this. Keep being amazing and improving the app. <3

Amazing app, but Limited Models, Expressions, and Weight Customization. This app has been a tremendous asset in improving my art perspectives and understanding of anatomy, for which I'm truly grateful. However, I believe there are a few areas that could be enhanced to further elevate its capabilities. Firstly, it would be beneficial to have the option to include multiple models instead of just one, as this limitation hinders the app's versatility, especially when depicting scenes like fights or hugs. Additionally, the ability to modify facial expressions would greatly enhance the app's realism and artistic expressiveness. Lastly, it would be ideal if users could customize the weight size of the models without any additional cost. This would provide greater freedom in creating diverse and inclusive artwork. Despite these areas for improvement, this app has undeniably played a crucial role in my artistic journey. (Note: I do understand that this app need money for the developers to not die but maybe make it so you can have any two genders and models along with their weight. I might sound like im reciting the review again so sorry i think it would be better for plus sized and minus sized users that don't have the preset body types happy like me :) thank you for reading this and i hope you add atleast one of my suggestions)

I was a bit dissatisfied with the characters.. Hi, I’m a new user and I just got this app today since I stumbled upon it on TikTok. I thought it would be a great way to create my own poses and such abs not have to try to find a pose in the internet that would take a lot of time. And it is! It’s great for posing, but I was a bit upset at the fact that there is a lack of characters you can access through the free version. Of course though the male model is fine but at least have a female model. I feel like having just at least a female model and male model would be enough for the free version. I wanted to explore the app a bit more abs found out that you could only get the female model if you get the pro which right now I can not purchase. I strongly suggest that the app should at least have a female model for better reference and anatomy as well! Also I’m wondering why there could only be the male model and not have a male and female model for the free version?(I have also read more recent comments about the free version not having a female model, numerous of those reviews) Also I’ve read some reviews saying about the previous version of the app, about rewards or daily rewards and such im just wondering what that was about. But overall the app is pretty nice but I think adding a female model fit the free version can be a good improvement!

I really love this app but,. I really love this app, it’s helped me with so much of my art. I was even able to practice perspective! While I was looking through the app at first I saw that you didn’t have any trees other than tree branches and a Christmas tree. I hope sometime soon you add multiple trees, and maybe rig them so we can pose them how we like. I also saw that you only had one light source and I work on drawings that has more than one light source. It would be really cool if you added a feature to where you can add more than one light source. I also see that you don’t have any animals. It would be really useful to have a wide range of animals from house pets to exotic animals like tigers and snakes. I would also like to see in future updates a wide range of body types like if I want to make drawing with people who are skinnier or fatter. It’s kinda hard to do so when you only have one size. So for example, one character can be tall and lean while another can be short and a bit overweight. Anyway I really do love the app, I just wish it had more features! Would I say it’s the best app for drawing? Why yes, and I hope you can make it even better!

Don’t Bother Downloading. I still have my old models so I am really glad I have a female model to use. However if you are a new user, you only have access to the male model. I am so, so very disappointed with what’s this app become. I can understand why you would lock things behind a pay wall, but seriously? You can only use ONE model and no female model? And you cannot use several models? This honestly breaks my heart because it was my favorite app to use at one point. I have no issue paying premium apps to use the most features and I have no issue supporting devs but this app is virtually useless when you cannot pay for the subscription. I feel terrible for those who cannot enjoy this app without paying for anything. I have read your responses to other users who share the same concerns, and it is so unhelpful and tone deaf. You provide no solutions or updates, only excuses. I’m not mad at you guys for doing what you have to do to get by, however I am immensely let down. This is NOT the way to do things and I hope you guys change things in the near future. Otherwise, this my last time using this app, and I will tell others to refrain from using it until the subscriptions are fair and reasonable.

Great app a couple suggestions 👍🏾☺️. I love using this app and it’s super easy to use our use it because I’m kind of not the best at drawing bodies with good proportions so it’s really easy to do it with this I really appreciate how you can have so many models and shapes what for free and yeah it’s something that I really like about this app and also some thing that is probably my favorite thing is that you can get poses from other people if you can’t make it yourself which I find really helpful since I’m not really the best at moving them sometimes and I usually do simpler ones but when I do harder ones I can find them on the community tab and I kind of really like that you can export images because you know that’s how are usually draw and I can trace over the bodies. When I making characters. Now one suggestion would that be you can get something from somebody else’s seen even if it cost one that coins but you can’t edit it that would be kind of helpful but other than that there’s not really a problem I would say it’s a great app it’s easy to use and I love it would definitely suggest you get

An amazing full experience app turned into a sample by a greedy update. Like many others in these recent reviews, I too have used this app for my many artist endeavors. The app used to be free, and you had the option to buy some more assets. However, the base app was more than enough for everything you needed. You could add multiple models, they had a pretty great selection of both male and female characters of which you could use for free. Many people that come into this app without having used it in the past will not know just how good the app used to be. I got so excited when I kept getting emails from this company claiming that their best update was coming, that it would make everything so much better. I believed it. You see, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to move up as a company. But don’t take EVERYTHING away from loyal app users in an “update” that claims to make everything better. You could have so easily left everything that was free, and then charge a premium for additional items. I will no longer be using this app, and I hope many other users leave them too, so that they see how much they screwed it up. If you want to take notes from a great 3d company, go take a look at DAZ3D. They give their users so much for free, anything else you can buy, but it doesn’t limit you or take anything away from the best experience.

Great but needs more diversity. After seeing that the developers are responding I would like to give some recommendations! I don’t know anything about rendering or 3D models but I don’t think it’s easy. I was amazed that y’all have an amazing variety of skin colors like really!!! But where it starts lacking is with hair, now normally I don’t draw my references hair and by that i mean that follow reference accounts and they pin their hair so you can draw whatever style you want but since it is a feature in your app it would be lovely to see some black hairstyles!! I know this app will grow a lot and I am excited to see what y’all will do next! I have some more recommendations but they’re not that important in my opinion Jewelry and piercings Facial expressions (I’m 100% sure this is like super hard for y’all to rig but who knows maybe in the future y’all will be able to add this) Wind feature like movement of clothes and hair, I think I’d be pretty dope to see Like I said above, I’m not expecting you to come out with these in the next update or in the next few updates since it not simple (I’m assuming since idk anything about rigging) but it would be fun to play with and use. Thank you so much for this app, truly! Sometimes the art references I use don’t have what I want and it takes the motivation out of me, plus spending hours looking for references isn’t fun 😭 Again, thank you!

amazing! but i do have a complaint.. I originally downloaded this about a year ago, but I quickly deleted it finding out it was very difficult to use and operate. I download it again today because I was just looking for an alternative to searching up pictures online. I use this app for writing purposes. Mainly to play out little scenes in my head, and seeing if they make sense. And, the app seems a lot easier than it was about a year ago. But I do have a complaint. I think it’s kind of unnecessary to have the whole coin system thing because if you’re just trying to imagine a scene in which you use a prop (let’s take a bed for example), you can’t do that without paying. Of course I understand you need to make money somehow but I believe there should be some type of way to earn coins without purchasing something. Other than that everything in this app is really easy to operate and is very good for creating drawing/writing references. Keep doing what you do <33

Give me back the old app version.. Y’all messed up the game because why did y’all make all this “pro” and “master” stuff???? Look, I know every game developer wants to make money as much as the next one does but this right here is not the way. If your an old user don’t come back because now they are making you pay for subscriptions to use models and stuff like that. Y’all got me really messed up cause why I need to pay to duplicate a model…. 💀 In the old app version it had coins that were called “wombat coins” If you logged in each day it would give you five coins and if you came for 7 days in a row those coins would go up by 5, therefore you would ten coins if you logged in each day. If skipped a day you lost your streak and would start off with 5 again. With those coins you could buy models probs hair and even clothes for them. Also if you signed up for the first time in the old app version it gave you 600 or 500 coins to start off with. Y’all don’t download the app because this is just one of those subscription apps and I don’t want no developer response talking about some “Well you could try our 1 week free trial! 😁” ( I gave it 5 stars so the developer could see this.) Y’all stay safe tho.

Look for alternatives to this app.. I would’ve given this a zero star if I could, because with each update you can feel the devs trying to find a new way to monetize previously FREE features. I remember about two years ago, you were able to put in two models in the same scene and had the option to pick any a variety of different models, ranging from realistically proportions to anime, stylized. and chibi styles. Two years later I found that you were limited to the realistic, anime, and stylized models so 6 figures in total. You could only have one person existing in that one scene too. Limiting and frustrating, but nothing compared to months later where I find that those previously FREE models are behind a 7 day free trial and after that you have to pay. So you’re stuck with the default model for the rest of time, even though you had so much options before hand. I understand people have to make money, however you do that by adding in more features NOT taking away previous features that were free. It’s very disappointing and I would not recommend this app, since it’s limiting in what resources are given to you. Just Google reference photos or take your own photos for yourself if you want pose reference, those are less limiting and free alternatives to this app.

I miss the old version. I’ve been using this app since the old version. What I liked about it was the coins to use to purchase models and objects for your scenes. You didn’t need money, it was just an app that any artist could use without spending money. The new version is okay but the basic version (free) is very limited. You can’t even have two models on the same scene and it very frustrating. What I don’t like the most is this: to be able to open up a scene from the community tab, you have to save it to your files, but if the person who made the scene had used features only available in pro version, it won’t let you open it. So it’s hard to determine which scenes are basic, pro or master version if it keeps making you save it to your files first before opening up the scene only to delete the scene because it was made with pro or master features. Please do something about this or separate the scenes by the version of the app that was purchased: basic, pro and master.

Great Update for an ART app.. Y’all 1 starrers need to learn to read and understand this app is programmed for ART BASED designs. This is NOT a game, this is not meant to be a time waster. This is meant to be an easy to use, fully functional art poser program for artist of all kinds. I understand the monthly subscription cost (15$) can be daunting for most but a ONE TIME FEE OF $9.99, you can get loads of options for ideas, styles and references. Procreate is $9.99, a decent meal at McDonalds is about $9.99, 2 gallons of gas is 10 bucks now. So you’re gonna sit here, whining, moaning, and complaining that a team that spent months developing this program to service the artists that need it and will use it for its ACTUAL purpose, are greedy, selfish, and undeserving? Uneffingbelievable. Need I remind you what devices y’all are using this app on? Yeah, I’m sure those cost more than 10 bucks. Think before you lash out, you entitled babies. I hope for more updates and add-ons in the future like more body/ethnic types, facial expressions and even animals and/or anthropomorphic poses in the future.

What is this scam?. You offer a free app with great features, then update the app, call it an improvement that will benefit all your users, then lock key functions behind a paywall? I used to be able to add multiple models to a scene, now that very basic feature is locked behind a paywall. A little warning about that before I updated would have been nice. Or you know, not doing that at all. I understand devs gotta get paid, but you can’t go around removing features people relied on and expect people to accept that. EDIT: Are you kidding? Did you even read my review? I made one very specific complaint: a formerly free feature, the ability to upload more than one human model to the same scene, is now locked behind a paywall. In your response, you claim “We did not remove any free features.” Yes only 2 sentences later, you say “The only thing we changed is we placed unlimited models with our new Pro version.” Um, hello? That is EXACTLY the thing I complained about. THAT IS REMOVING A FREE FEATURE. I’m not “confused,” as you like to tell people here, I know exactly what I’m mad about, and your response to this has been nothing short of insulting. Give us back the features you took, or at least stop pretending you didn’t do it.

Really? Oh come on.. I came back to this app after a little while solely to model a female to use a screenshot for a drawing. You can’t even use the app. You have to make an account do anything in terms of choosing what model you would want to use. I wanted to model a female so I could do my lineless art and not have to struggle with the pose. There are better ways to make money off of an app, paying to make the app even semi functional in terms of models and having to sign in is what drove me away for now. Almost one year and a few months ago I would have given this 4 stars. Back in 2020 or 2021 this app was ideal. I shouldn’t have uninstalled it so I could have potentially kept the old version. I only uninstalled it so I’d have storage on my device. I’d like to give this at least 3 stars, if I can delete the base male model and use Ellie. But I have to make an account to even use Ellie because you can’t use a different model without an account. In my opinion this app is purely a waste of my time and I’m only leaving a review to give my opinion to possibly help people choose what oc pose app they wanna use. I can kinda tell now that I think you guys at Wombat Studio, Inc. solely added the new features to make money. That’s all for this review for now.

Best posing app for scene setup!. This has become my go-to app for poses and scenes. It’s so much more convenient than googling in hopes of finding a ref photo that was just right. It’s well worth upgrading to Pro. The ability to lock individual figures and objects, scale things in multiple axies, and to undo movements by joints has made it even more useful! They added preset poses in a recent update, too, which make a great starting point when you want to work from something different than the basic T pose. Right now you can duplicate objects, but you can’t group them, so building out large scenes with geometric shapes is a little tedious, but doable. Developers update the app frequently, so it gets better each time. There are multiple models to pick from now, so you can set up interactions between figures of different body types (basic human, anime, chibi). They added an auto-save feature in some of the latest updates, so you no longer lose a pose if you close the app or go back to your saved pose screen, too.

Purchases. Hi. So, I use this game almost every day. And I loved it so much that I bought the Pro version. And I know you guys created the game but just to remind you, it said one time fee. So we bought it, and I was having so much fun! Until right now. I went into the game, tried to open up my most recent file, and it said that I had to upgrade to pro. I was so confused. I went to look at exactly what the pro version said to make sure it wasn’t a subscription and someone canceled it. I triple checked every single thing it said, but when I tried again, it said the same exact thing. I went to the settings on the account button, and I found the restore purchases button. I clicked it, went back to open my file, and it said the same thing. I did the restore purchases button at least 3 times and nothing worked. Now, let me tell you once again that I love this game. Everything was going perfect until this happened. Please let me know what is happening and if I can do something to fix it. Thank you for taking time to read this

Good but subscription is way too expensive. I would buy a smaller set just to unlock extra characters but there seems to be an all-or-nothing type purchase

Money making ruins things again. Used to be great, really great. I could have a few basic characters to work out poses and perspective and such. Now I can’t have more than 1 character without buying another version of the app, the basic props I had before like a table all seem to be behind a paywall, and the 2 payment options are $15 for a one off payment that basically gets you everything you used to get for free or you pay something like $22 a month??? I don’t know who they think is using the app but??????

Disappointed. Great app - but it’s disappointing that obj export is only available for the subscription version. Also the fact that this is not revealed until an attempt to use the feature makes some of the promotion somewhat misleading, tainting an otherwise excellent product.

Kawaii. Suggestions: - Adjustments to size (e.g; hands, feet, head, eyes etc) - Colour wheel - Accessories like backpacks, headphones/cat headphones, ribbons etc) - More street style (Menhera, harajuku, Lolita etc) - More hairs options - More clothes (availability to change colours of clothes) - More model varieties - 2 Eye colours - Split dyed hair options - More pose start ups - Availability to change weight and height of certain parts - More expression choices (wink, tongue out etc) I hope you take my suggestions in the future. :3 Overall, it’s a really helpful and fun app for beginner artists <3

Great app. I love the app so much but with the subscriptions with master and pro just some advice could you either lower the price or add more props and some more characters to the people who don’t want to do the subscriptions but apart from that I love the app so much👍

Useful app for beginners. I put down my pencil 30 years ago and recently picked up my Apple Pencil to begin drawing again. This app is an excellent aid for getting proportion, lighting etc correct. A very useful tool for me as a beginner. I’d like to see a bit more hand control in future update please , can’t do a fist that well. Thanks

Amazing game!. I love this game! There’s not one single thing I can’t complain about right now. But it would be cool if you guys could at face expressions for the characters? Thanks!

Update is too much. I used to play this game all the time when it first came out and not many people used it. I was always fascinated with the game and how you could get so many props, customisations and etc for free. It was truly a dream game and the update alright but everything costs money, seriously? Least you guys could do is make the millitary outfit free and more fighting poses. The original update was much more cost efficient and fun.

Was good before the membership. I really enjoyed this app before the major update. Now it really inconvenient to use as a variety of features that were available, such as multiple models in a scene, has been included in the membership. I also found that the amount of presets has dropped, and a percentage of the ones still available have been included in the membership as well.

Cool. Amazing app considering it’s free. Something that I’d like is to be able to move the model’s legs without it going through the floor, so the feet stay touching the ground. That would make things easier. Also, it would be good to be able to comment on people’s poses.

Why do we have no female models that are free?. Ok, so technically there is females models but they all cost money to get them (pro, master etc) That is extremely impractical, when I’m trying to make a pose for a reference I can’t just use the default male model as men’s bodies are built different to women’s bodies and I wouldn’t get the right proportions or muscle placing; so please at least make ONE female model free because honestly, it’s just stupid. This app is BY FAR the best app for modelling and references and right now, since the update, it isn’t doing justice. Please fix it and you can get many loyal users back. -Sincerely from your old loyal user.

Used to be my go to reference app. This posing app used to be my go to… I was so happy seeing the BIG update and I was excited, only to update and be filled with nothing but disappointment. Now that you now have to pay for practically EVERYTHING ruins the ‘magic’ (pun not intended). Unless you want to use this big Hunkie Doorie that is free, but even that this feels like a grab for my money and I will not give you my dollarie doos. I will not be coming back unless I can access what I need.

It would be good buttt…. This app is amazing for base and pose creation, and even allows you 7 days free trial for more and better options instead of making you pay without knowing what you’re getting into. My only issue is that if you don’t want to pay, you have to stick with limited things, which would be fine, but when choosing a person to use to make a pose there is only a male option. So you can’t use a female for poses unless you pay, which is very annoying.

It was good…. Got this app a while ago and it was very good, with lots of model diversity and only making you purchase extra things you wanted to add to the scene. But after a big update you now need to pay for some of the better models and now there’s only a limited amount of things you can actually do without paying, really wish there wasn’t so much pressure to buy the subscription and more things you could do as a free user.

I cant afford anything. I miss the old models that used to be free and I can’t exactly afford things, so maybe you could do 2 free models in stuff like manga and the other categories of models. Please take this into consideration because before if you just wanted to have fun and mess around with the app you could for free and if you were a business, you could pay to expand a little more, but now no matter who you are, you have to pay even if you just want to have fun

It’s a good app, but…. I played this game a while ago, way before it had this big update. While all of it is cool, I feel like it should at LEAST have a free female model too. Since male anatomy and female anatomy are so different, I feel they should at very least have a free female model along with a male model. Without that, it does seem a bit money-grabby. I understand that the pro and master version were made for profit which is fair considering the amazing app, but at-least a free female model. I mostly draw females and it’s difficult to use this app if the only free one available is male.

A well made posing app.. It’s pretty simple and easy to learn how to mess around with. The unlimited props and models is also a very nice feature, allowing for very complex scenes. However, if I were to rotate my view but start dragging where a model happens to be, it moves the model instead of the camera. A bit annoying especially for close-up edits. Perhaps add a toggleable ability to only move things that you tap, not drag. Also, a thing I’ve noticed is missing is the ability to morph models. Things that are adjustable, such as breast size, hip size, belly size, head size, etc. Along with height and weight, rather than simply Attack of the Titans being the only option concerning adjustable size. Perhaps there can be one more model for each gender that has this ability. Additionally, the ability to change opacity of models and props could be useful for practical purposes and things like making ghosts. Also the ability to group things would be very useful, especially for custom props. And with that, the ability to select multiple things at once. And last of all, maybe adding more props. Modern guns, kitchen knives, more shapes like triangular prisms, tents, etc. That’s just about everything. Thank you for a very useful art app and I hope to see it grow in the future. -James Brammall. (Masterzooka.)

have to pay for a female body?. I wanted to use this app as a inspiration for my artworks. I wanted to get used to drawing anatomy and thought that a 3D pose app would work. But what do you know, the only way I could get the body I was looking for was by paying. Why can’t there be a default female body for free? Overall I don’t recommend for tracing anatomy learning artists.

It’s a decent app. It's a decent app however when it desynchronise with out any Internet it makes me resubscribe and pay for something I already own, otherwise it’s a top app and really good to use. It could do with a way to import props and clothing however since the base stuff is severely lacking, unless I’ve missed something/someway to import items that are pre-made. Anyway a decent app overall and one of the better pose apps out there.

prices are cool. I understand that people are mad about the February update and stuff but I actually quite like how the lighting and some of the props are still free, and that they didn’t do something outrageous like making the individual finger joints locked behind a paywall (please don’t take this idea as inspiration I beg of you) and while I won’t be able to see and draw an anatomically correct draw a female model, I can still get a vague idea of how poses work at certain angles even if I only have the male model. I also think it’s cool how the pro version is a once off buy forever and not a monthly thing, but there’s a master version monthly if people want to really get access to the extra stuff. I’ll buy the pro version eventually but right now I’m pretty happy with the free stuff. This might be because I already have a stylised female drawing technique already so I just needed to know where the limbs would go. Yes I was here before the feb update so I also initially got mad but the paywall is understandable to ensure the app stands (I assume that’s why). thank you for this app. I likey.

Not free anymore. It is a little frustrating to me now that we have to pay for a bunch of details we used to get for free in the new update. a few weeks ago i could do whatever i want but now the update has launched theres now restrictions and i have to purchase what i used to have for free. not to mention the confusing new layout and editing tools. feels like a different app not the same anymore

IPad pro screen flickering during posing. Not sure if i’m not the only one who had this issue but, ever since the update, the screen is going glitching like crazy that it’s hard to stay forced on, not sure if that’s a hole iPad issue (let me know) just thought I post this up

It’s ok. I find it honestly pathetic that you have to pay for half of the things on The app, why do I have to pay to change the gender of the character?

Well made, but useless without a female model. I don’t understand how you can provide a default male model and not a female one. It renders the app completely useless for me. This hasn’t enticed me to pay for the pro versions, it’s just annoyed me. It’s disappointing because this kind of product is exactly what I am looking for, but I’ll have to find another app to use. If trying to ensure long term financial sustainability, surely cut out other areas. It just seems like common sense to have a male and female default.

Pls add more features in pro and master. I love this app, very useful, only thing stopping me from paying for master is there isn’t any realistic children models with adjustable body types and I really wanna see this app add animal models like horses/cows/cats/dogs/etc

Excellent app. This is such a good app I like how accurate the bodies are but I wish there was something that you could turn on so that it would actually bend to only what a human can do because sometimes I have trouble with that Also I’m confused if or how you move the head Also more clothing would be great and for the 1:8 models Overall it’s such a good app I would highly recommend it to anyone and I understand how hard it is to make an app like this I’m so glad I came across it 😃👍👍👍

we <3 capitalism. Seriously this is appalling. Already they had a store and many locked body’s and props, but that was easy to get over with the still pretty decent variety for free. I redownloaded it to use once again, and found that every body except the realistic male is locked behind a paywall. So unless you ONLY draw realistic men, pay up or get out is what they’re saying to you.

Very confused.. I remember using this a few years ago, and it was great, and super helpful. Just came back to use it again for a quick reference, and I can’t find a female model?? What the actual hell, I seriously hope I’m just missing something, because that’s absolutely be the most ridiculously stupid thing if you actually have to pay just to pick a default female model. I am absolutely not paying $15 to be able to use one model, when I literally wouldn’t even be opening the app again after being done with it. If the male is free, the female absolutely should be too. If not, put the male behind a paywall, as well.

Can you please not make this so unexpected?. Hi I've been using this app for a while and I've just updated it, the first thing I saw when I opened it up to create models was a pure black model with no face and it's honestly creepy. Can you change it please? It's a bit unnerving to see it when I first open the app.

Good modeling app. It’s a good, maybe more great since the new update brought some much needed life to the app but my previous works have random shapes at such messed sizes. It might be the same problem with the rotation tool that you have to reset the app and sign in but that’s just my gripe. Sides that I recommend you get this app, goes well.

Not enough flexibility for new users who don’t want to pay. It was a great posing app but I am not a professional artist so I tried your app. It is easy to use. The flexibility of the free version was not a lot because females and anime characters were not free and only a few presets were free. I do not want spend money on apps that don’t provide enough flexibility for free. I like to draw anime but the anime poses were not free and there were bugs. The bugs include the knees, foot and hands not moving properly. Thanks for reading this but please make the free version more flexible because I am a new user that deleted the app within 30 minutes of downloading it.

Horrible update. Not recommended.. Hi devs. I used to use your app a lot, i enjoyed the manga characters, and anatomy, poses and such. I couldn’t find references much, and this was SO helpful. What happened after the update? I’ve been reading some of the recent reviews and reply’s - nobody wants characters behind paywalls. It would be better just to make hair and clothing and props to pay. (my opinion.) People could get the same things for free. Also, why did you make the female model for money? That’s sort of unfair, because the male and female figures aren’t that similar. I downloaded this again today because i finally defeated art block, and i was so upset about the update. I’m confused on how people would think people would pay for this when there is way better apps. Thanks for reading, have a good day. I honestly don’t reccomend this app for people reading this. Cheers. -S

AMAZING!. This app is so good and the best I have come across I love using it all the time, the only thing I would change is having more free cloths as there are very little free clothing options, other then that, it’s amazing

Help. This app is super useful. It lets you do heaps of things. The only things are that when I add in a chibi model it is invisible. The other one is that two af the hairstyles are not coming up on the screen. (They are also invisible.) My other one is that the feet move weird like, when you turn them up so you are pointing down the heel goes a little far up. Not that realistic:3...Anyway, this app is A-MA-ZING!!!!!!🤑🙊😂😄😁🤑👍🏼👍🏼 Hattie1234📝🍬💖💩👩🏼 Saturday 14th of July, 2018

Way too much paid features now.. I’m so disappointed with what this app has become. It used to be free and easy for artists to use, and slowly the paid elements started rolling in. I didn’t mind it at first, I didn’t even mind the first major update with the more detailed models and new logo, but now the ONLY model I can use is this big, buff male model, which is hard for someone like me who is a primarily female artist to use, especially with a more anime like style without having to pay.

Can’t access old projects. I used to really enjoy using this app. Before the newest update, I was able to have more than one model in a single scene and that was incredibly helpful for making interactions. I had a few scenes going for a comic I was making but after the new update, I can’t access them anymore. I’ve tried to claim my older user rewards but it doesn’t work, it just leads me back to the tutorials page without doing anything. This app used to be really amazing, but for users like me (who can’t afford to pay), its just become frustrating.

have to pay for everything!. would be a great app if you didn’t have to pay for everything. you may as well not make the app free if you’re going to make us pay for every option. Literally make the female body free because the only available body for free is male and that’s what mainly pisses me off .don’t download with an expectation of this app being free.

Its a money grabber. I actually used to like this WHEN it didn't come out with member ship. I subscribed to the 7 day trial and i still wasn't able to use any of the models expect the first male model. When it didn’t come out with member ship, you can use ANY of the models and items you want. It was actually good before! Now you have to pay for mostly everything, it’s horrible. I thought it was the best free posing app out there but now it’s just trash. Very disappointed.

Great, hope it gets better. This is quite good for getting poses. But it would be really great if you could group objects together. That way, you can use primitives to make custom props and then position them. At the moment only being able to move one item at a time is quite limiting.

Good, but better if you have money.. I really like this app, it was really useful to me and improved my drawings a lot. However, after the update, pretty much everything costs money. I understand needing to make money but it seems extremely greedy to make like 99% percent of the app paid for. It was really helpful before the update, now not as much. It would probably be better to look for an alternative app if you can’t pay, which I will probably end up doing also.

Was good. I was super excited about the update, finally there would be more body types/diversity. I updated and found the ability to create pose references for large/fat bodies. Great! A little bit limited, but I could work with it. Then suddenly the body type options were no longer available. I was ready to cry from frustration. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD BODY TYPES BE LOCKED BEHIND A PAYWALL (fat tax) I was ready to recommend this app, but not anymore. I have read your replies to previous criticisms about what features were taken away from us. But there’s a line between we gotta get paid and greed. Especially when body type diversity and acceptance is so so SO important. And locking body diversity behind a paywall with features that not everyone will benefit from feels like you as a company have crossed that line. I would have considered upgrading, but for what is being offered, I feel like I would be not only wasting my money on features I don’t need, but I would be supporting anti fat bias and corporate greed, whether you intended it or not.

Great, but. Hello, I love using this app. It’s so helpful and easy to use. However ever since the latest update it’s become really hard to use the red, green and blue globe to turn around a model or turn a head. I’d really appreciate if you could fix it. Thank you

Amazing game. I love this game so much, it’s so easy to create something that just pops in your head, it has a variety of props and models. If you’re looking at this review and speculating if should get the app, don’t hesitate, it is free and worth-it

1.45 issues :/. Amazing app it made me actually get the pose I wanted instead of sadly searching on google for a specific pose. But i do have some criticism for the new update, first up cool update glad to see that bugs have been fixed and iv noticed that models have had a little upgrade, but now if I wanted to make a cute couple pose I have to pay. One thing I liked about this app was I didn’t have to pay to do all of this stuff but now I do and it’s kinda frustrating that I have to complicate things if I want to do more things but overall it was a good app. Ig

Only good for singular character poses. Don’t download this if you are planning on adding more than 1 character to a pose scene. This app was good until it capitalised on making more money. Lol. 7 day free trial if you want to add another character now. Other than that, it’s a great pose tool if you just want to make pose/anatomy references for your art, it’s more easier and flexible compared to some other pose apps.

Definitely not a “poser”. This app is super easy to manipulate your model without using sliders, like you would if it were a real mini model. Move the wrist and the arm moves with it - you’ll be posing in seconds! The free version is limited but the cost for an upgrade is definitely in the horizon if I need to utilise another type of model.

Best 3d poser ever. No because this is honestly the most high quality and user friendly 3d app I think I’ve ever used and I’ve used a few and the new updat? Chefs kiss

Hi!. Can I just say that I love your app, it is amazing and as a person with repetitive art block and same face syndrome this app is great for me. I have one problem when I go to create an account it asks for my birthday and i put it in but it doesn’t accept it, meaning I can get access to other props and things. Overall great app guys✨💕 -a happy person

Pretty decent but.... I really love this app but the one thing I wish more than anything is that all pose presents were available for both genders of models. There are so many poses for male models that all look amazing, then the females not only don't have much, but pretty much every single one is extremely feminine and even sexual in some. There's nothing wrong with that, however it leaves much to be desired when compared to the men. I would love the freedom to give any pose preset to any model I wanted. Thanks for your time

Small suggestion. By any chance, could you simplify the ability to resize and move objects? Say like, move them in a direction with arrows going outwards and such. Sorry for such a bad explanation, but I’m sure you can get the jist of it.

Bruh. You have to pay damn money just to add a other guy 16:00 dollars

YOU HAVE TO PAY?. Why do you have to pay for a body pose?

Was good…until capitalism.. I used to use this a lot, it was very helpful and I enjoyed having a proper reference for my art but ever since the new update everything I used to use is now locked behind payment. Before the new update I used to be able to use all presets and was able to add characters to my poses but now it’s all locked behind pro. Same with different body shapes and size, I was so excited when I saw I could change the weight or body type of my poses but it’s all locked behind the payment again. I would use this again if EVERYTHING wasn’t locked behind payments, literally the worst decision your development team has created :) fking hate this update. Your dev responses are stupid too

Limited stuff?? Might aswell make the game cost money.. I just got this game, it seemed pretty good but then I realized you had to pay for EVERYTHING in the game, Including the female body types, I find it a bit discriminating how you have the male body type but not the female one, I feel like you guys should at least make the female body type free for artists who preference a female body style. I hate how you can’t even get basic accessories in this game. How do you expect to get downloads for a game that only has 1 free character. Might aswell just make you pay for the whole game. This really needs to be changed. I also have Read other reviews and what if you don’t have an old account?? Please get this fixed. Otherwise this app is terrible unless your only looking for male body types.

Can’t even pick my gender. I want to draw a girl, there being no female options is not very useful, it defeats the whole reason for me downloading this.

Used to be good. Used to be great until they took away all the features and put them behind a paywall.

Awful. I don’t know what y’all did since the last time I used it, but it’s become an almost unusable mess.

Nah. I used this app so much before the update. I was able to use more than one person when it came to this and I was delighted! I’ve waited so long to see hand presets and learned they cost me to be atleast a /pro/ now. Like y’all come on, I had this app along time ago and I connected it to my iPad and lot of my stuff is locked on my iPad but not my phone.

Your making it pay to work. Shut the hell up developer you’re not making 10x better your making it 10x worse you idiot and make everything free not pay to spawn

An amazingly versatile tool.. I love this tool, it’s allowed me to Ideate new scenes and compositions so quickly using the preset models and basic objects.

Disappointing. Used to be amazing, but since changing to the new pricing model, most features have been lost for free users. You can’t even add more than one model to a scene without paying, so it’s become pretty much useless for my needs.

Why is everything master?. And why isn’t it a one-time fee too? Why are there only 4 clothing options? Two of them are not appropriate for most seasons. I’d reconsider It’s not everything was master. And no matter what developer response you might give back. Because I’ve seen it. And I’ve done it. And it’s not worth it. (Oh and export to? What on earth do you think we're going to do with our models? Play with them?)

make infinite model placing for free man. I mean, i love this app but the fact that placing an extra model needs money is kinda too much to ask. Even the code is kinda unoptimized. Please fix this.

extremely limited usage. im an artist and i use this for references for my art. quite frankly, this app is unusable unless i’m paying twelve dollars a month. if you don’t want to pay, you have access to one model. a realistic adult man, who’s tall and muscular. if you want a different model, or if you want to modify this model in any way (make him less buff, thinner, fatter etc) you have to pay. it’s literally unusable. i mostly draw women, and if i do draw men they’re usually not muscular, which makes this app unusable for me and other artists.

Good but…. So far it’s good but please include a free feminine body because it is very discouraging for you to have all other body types for money. You should always include one masculine and one feminine body in your app to be more inclusive. As someone who draws feminine bodies this app is awful for that without paying money. Please change this.

Bro I don’t want to buy anything. I do not want to buy everything it’s so annoying and it sucks I wanna do anime in peace but I have to buy everything

Horrible update. Bare minimum to have a female character, or any of the other stuff the app used to have, from what i can see youve lost anyone who uses/used the app who didnt want to pay for basic parts of a posing app. And i dont want a ridiculous response to my review like the others.

New version. The new update of this app sucks. I cannot access my old scenes, and I cannot add more than one character?? What??? I have used this app well before the update, and my rating before that would be a solid 4-5 stars. The “migration guide” does not work and does not let me access my old scenes, it keeps giving me a paywall for pro version. If there is ONE thing you could add back to the free version, or should be the ability to add more than one character in a scene, because it is very annoying that I went through the whole migration process and still cannot access my old group scenes. I still think this is a great app, and I absolutely loved it before, but the update just downgraded my experience by a lot. 👎

No female models. You have to subscribe to use anything but the male model. It looks like an okay app but if I can’t even try a female body that’s an immediate uninstall.

Was good, until…. The app worked fine as it was. But the recent update, or one of the recent updates, now forces you to pay to use nearly everything. This app went from a great tool for artists, to a cash grab, and it’s disgusting. It’s a shame, this was the only posing app I enjoyed using.

Stupidest app ever.. You have to pay for any sort of female model, and the developer responses are literally just “Oh test it out and then buy it!” Or “Not everything is locked!!” When literally everything except for a couple of easy to do yourself presets are the only free things. Also why only include a male model in the free version? Don’t download this, it’s a waste of time.

pay to use. literally gives you 1 free model and you have to pay for everything else

Bruh. I understand you guys need to make money, but you could of at least left a female character unlocked. Like why is it only this ugly male one? I used to use this all the time and I only ever used the female character models and now I honestly might just delete this because it’s pissing me off. Everything’s locked. Literally everything except for the realistic male model. Gotta delete this now, it’s going to do nothing for me

Just make it cost money at this point. Used to be a good app before they made everything cost money but now you need to pay to use anything other than the male body. Update made the app essentially useless if you don’t pay. Don’t waste your time with this app, would not recommend. If you’re gonna make everything cost money, just make the app cost money because it certainly isn’t free.

Sexist? (Don’t waste your time in this game.). Everything you have to pay for! You can’t unlock a female model unless you pay up to 18 dollars a month. It is so bad, and it sucks because of how much potential the game has. Maybe, just a tip, at least have something free (more than ONE THING IN THE ENTIRE GAME.) or, make it so you pay for the game, then everything else in the game free. You’ll get more downloads then trying to scam off a lot of money that’s not even worth wasting. Please, don’t waste your time. It’s trash.

Funny. Bro when I try to make one they start glitching all over the place bro

Bad update. Before this new update, I loved using it and it helped my art improve. Now, I have to pay for what feels like everything, less options, It’s just… eh? The quality went down, please make a way so that users can still use the body types they had before without paying

Hate the update. I used this app all the time but now it’s all behind a pay wall, I’m not against having to pay for some of the features but there’s literally nothing to work with for people who can’t afford it.

No female model. No free female model? That’s really discouraging.

Shameful app. Extremely disappointed in this app. I used to use it consistently, but with the removal of several features that are now hidden behind paywalls, I find no use for it anymore. I would prefer this app be a one time purchase up front than a ridiculously expensive subscription. There are no free models besides one man, and the only available and free assets are random shapes. This app has officially become impossible for young and poor artists to use as a way to improve.

Awful after update. I used to love this game. I used to play it with my friends and laugh. Now that I’ve come back and it’s updated, It’s unbearable honestly! You have to pay for a female body?! You have to pay for 2 characters?! I can’t even navigate the app anymore You can’t even change my mind with “We need to make money” It’s not like you weren’t making enough money with the first version, Enough had a paywall. I would love the old design and elements back

👁👄👁. Nice edit:Grass man says your app is nice Another crusty edit:this app is very helpful for artists :D

Very lovely! Would like flexibility in models. This is such a useful app for artists and would definitely recommend!! One wish I have is that you can further customize models by changing their proportions. Some of my girl models have thicker thighs and others have broad shoulders and smaller hips. So I would like to be able to make custom models of my characters.

Better with symmetry opt. The app is great so far, I got the Pro, just enough to work with. I discovered the other day that you can’t flip the whole body, only arms and legs yikes. Hopping to see this in future updates.

I saw that stupid dev response…. Your response to not being a tad inclusive from user ‘sngsoabwv’ was basically “should have had some older/legacy version”, gatekeeping new users. No, the bare minimum should include a single female body type. You’re just admitting you updated the app to be less inclusive. I don’t even want to try the app features if you’re being obtrusive on bare minimum features. You might as well as make the app a single purchase on the App Store at that point.

No female model. I don’t know who came up with this idea and how it managed to be implemented but how can you make an app for helping artists with anatomy and only include ONE model in the free version? I don’t even care about body types at this point, just give me a generic male AND female model!!! This app is completely useless to anyone trying to draw female anatomy, unless they want to pay. I promise you having one male AND one female model in the free version is not going to break the bank for you, if someone did not want to buy the full version before they certainly don’t want to now.

premium this master that. this app was actually good until this stupid update came like i cant even use more than 1 model wth I CANT EVEN USE A DAMN TABLE BC I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT app rlly went from 5 star to 0 so if the devs r wondering why they have sm 1 star ratings look at how much stuff u took away from people that just want to use it for free oh my gof im so fed up with this stupid app

Female. You have to pay money to have a female body. Why aren’t there free female bodies?

Please Change the update. The update is very annoying and you have to pay for everything.

Great. It’s great for drawing references but the free models are a little disproportionate, it’s all good though, overall a good tool to have.

Useful; needs better file organization. Very useful tool - really very useful - but no way to organize files. No folders, no projects, no tags, everything listed in one view.

No Multi Pose?. Back when the update that allowed users to use multiple characters in one scene was added, we were told that multiple characters in a scene would ALWAYS be free. Now, it’s six months without an update, with the devs only caring to come in to defend their horrible decisions. They don’t even let you have multiple characters when you have a legacy account. Damn. What a waste.

It’s a really good app but….. I just downloaded this app like 10 minutes ago and I was really excited because I needed help with something as a reference for a drawing of mine. I was disappointed to not find a free feminine body. I looked in every section and could not find it (I did skip the tutorials, but they we’re all about how to pose, but now I regret not watching them all, so how do I get to watch them again? I tried to, but it was just an article and that did not help me whatsoever.) I really do not want to pay for it. Please add a female body type for free. But overall it’s a really good app, the customization of everything is great the lighting things as well. Thank you for reading my review.

Pay to play. Before it updated the app was actually useful, now you have to pay for everything! Would not recommend

Gender Equality ?. Good and useful app, but how do you justify the fact that only the male body is available in the free version and that we have to pay to get the female body ? This is quite sexist and discriminating… for gender equality there should be at least one basic version of each gender in the free version of the app.

its fine but. you could add a free female character. having to pay to get a female character is ridiculous. and saying "use your old account" doesn't make any sense because new users do not have an old account to access old features. please make a female character usable.

AMAZING. This is great! But what I’m mostly talking about is the developer. They try so hard to listen to everyone’s demands and are open to suggestions, which is a first if you ask me. Just one question: could you make it so you can color clothing?

Scummy Marketing Tactics. To lock the female model behind a paywall is scummy as hell, and I’d rather buy a full on paid app than give a penny to people like you who make people download your useless app before getting paywalled. My recommendation for any artist looking for a reference tool is to buy one with less desperate and pathetic marketing practices. Buying anything from this company is an admission of stupidity.

Used to be good but…. used to be a good app for artist now its nothing but a cash grab the app has downgraded

Make new pls???. Its a good game but i miss the old one could y'all please make a new app off the old version🙏🙏🙏

No longer worth it.. I’ve been a long time user of this app, having downloaded it sometime in 2018, and I’ve had nothing but positive comments to make. But now, not so much. I understand the need to raise prices nowadays. I totally get it, no matter how frustrating it may be. But twice now I’ve paid for Master, and the app promises to allow you to keep the perks of Master even if you cancel, and yet it eventually takes those perks from me and tries to get me to buy it again. Items, backgrounds, presets, all gone, even though I was told I could still keep them. TWICE this has happened. I have no idea if this is a bug or this app is a legit scam, but I figure I ought to leave a comment mentioning this just in case. This has become less dealing with inflation and more so just finding ways to drive your user base away. If you want to keep your users, then do better. Because this is unacceptable and it becomes theft at some point.

Epic but it could be better. This app is great and my art has greatly improved ever since I got it. But I do have a few issues with it. The older models have hand presets and more customizing options while the newer models do not. But the newer models are better detailed and move naturally when posing them while the older models are less advanced. I would love it if features the old ones have would also apply to the newer ones. I have a few suggestions for new features too! It would be epic if you could add animal models along with the human models you have already. It would really help and I wouldn’t have to use other apps for posing animals. An option to edit body proportions would be nice too! Especially if an artist is going for a certain style Thanks a million for hearing me out! This is an amazing app and I look forward to see it grow!

Put everything behind a paywall, including simple poses.. It’s ridiculous that the base poses are behind a paywall now, it’s not even a reasonable price. 10$-15$ a month, a subscription for a posing program. How ridiculous, especially to change for those that have been using the program for years. Since I’m uninstalling I’ll recommend others. An alternative program called Poseit made by Maurizio Nitti is a great choice, it’s free with options of donations. There’s another that is a single 3$ purchase called ArtPose by shawn ogle is just as good, I’d recommend it. No, I don’t think it’s reasonable to change monthly so you don’t need to respond explaining you’re a small team. Doesn’t change anything. Edit : 10$ for an app that was free before is still ridiculous, and yes, most of your preset poses are behind a pay wall? This response doesn’t even make sense LOL! Your charging way too much especially since people have been supporting the app for so long. No, I will not be joining your discord or supporting you any further.

Great Program Overall. Picked up Magic Poser because I couldn’t find any good mannequins with decent reviews online or in stores, and this program is infinitely better. Posing the models is very intuitive, creating and scaling and removing objects is easy, the lighting features are very helpful, and the ability to morph the body types so that not everyone looks like a turbojacked superhero is an under-appreciated feature. The base male and female models are really all you need, I haven’t found much use for the stylized or anime models. The only real wishlist items I have for it are more clothing options and a wider variety of props. Master only barely feels worth paying for; I’d say about 80% of what you get from it is fairly useless unless you’re doing art for a visual novel. Ultimately, if you ignore the extras and just use it as a basic reference model for drawing characters and dynamic poses, it’s a great tool.

Good but.... See I love Games were you can make your own little animations but I do have a few complaints one there’s too many props that cost money now my dad has a downtime and restricted purchases so I can’t really use my Apple credit but at the same time it’s unfair I feel like because I wanna use a lot of the props for a bunch of mini movies but I can’t because they all cost money and it makes me really sad I would be all right if you guys just added like a few free ones you could’ve just took them like two seconds on them and I would be happy like I could use legit be a fake gun that’s to black squares secondly a animation system so it’s easy to make movies please make it free and see what your can do about makeing more things not cost money please I really love this animation game but i am waiting for it to improve and the best of luck to the dev team and everyone working on it and i whould love to see more updates:)

Worth more than $10. Thank you for working on this app. I love the new update. Especially the lightings and the smoothness of the interface. I still have a lot of learning to do before I can use it efficiently. But it improved 100% more than the previous one where the model selections were difficult. The Pro version is very cheap and accessible since it’s a one-time payment like Procreate is. However, the Master version is a membership. The Master version is as the MP team pointed out, not necessary for most users like me who only need quick posing references for drawing. If you wanted a prop, then I suggest you look at the geometry section. Remember, this app used to not have all these highly-detailed props and people still were able to create amazing scenes as placements out of geometry models.

This was a beautiful app until everything had a price.. I understand that the employees working for this app need money just as much as any others do but I believe that there should also be more opportunities given to the the artists who bother downloading the app. We should at least be able to access two free characters rather than just one. Many artists work with multiple characters, its necessary that multiple characters should be given different positions and poses for a better effect. Its understandable for the other models to have a price but if you could just give us one more free character I think the art community would very much appreciate it. I loved the old app much better because it gave people better options for different body shapes and sizes. Anatomy can be hard man.

Not User Friendly. Hi there, this review is coming from an artist with 7 years experience. Before, I used to use this app for a while, and then deleted it a few years ago since I had no use for it at the time. Now that I want to better my anatomy and poses, It’s almost impossible when you try using this platform. Before premium was put into place, you were basically able to whatever you wanted with it. You could add shapes, use presets, have full on scenes, and now that you have to pay money you can’t even add a second model to reference from. This already puts a lot of stress on those who actually need references to do their job, and I honestly would rather have to deal with ads than this. I’m not an artist puppet who’s gonna throw money in your face. If you’re a user or an artist reading this review, don’t even bother wasting your time using this app because they clearly only care about the money now.

I feel like this app has been abandoned.. So I used to be a huge Superfan of this app ( and kind of still am.) so I decided to return after a few months of not playing it, due to the costs. Now I feel like it’s been abandoned. I don’t know whether or not they are working on a bigger update or not, but I seriously think that the developers are no longer caring about this game. That being said, it does have amazing features. However, body morphs are still not available for anime models, and the master subscription is WAY too expensive, and costs as much as a Netflix subscription. I honestly hope that wombat studios is able to get enough money that they can decrease the prices, but until then, I’m not gonna use it as often. I don’t expect a response from the developers, but if you are seeing this, please, please tell me why the only updates for months have just been bug fixes. I want my 10 dollars to be worth something again.

Great for basic form, use other apps for specific features. I’ve doodled all my life but have only just recently started learning basic skills of drawing bodies, faces, and using shading, point of view, etc. I was using one of those 1-foot wooden movable body models but found it lacking. This app was just what I needed. I like it so much I offer unsolicited advice to strangers next to me at art supply stores, telling them they need this! From this app I: -Learn how flexing or rotating joints changes posture. I like that other body parts move as they would in reality (though you can contort the models in unnatural ways, too). -See how light (which is movable) casts shadows -create scenes with more than one person -use props but also use basic shapes if a particular prop isn’t available, changing its size to mimic a specific object. I even created a “baby” since it wasn’t available. I used two spheres, making one as small as a baby’s head, and other into an oval for the baby’s body. This app doesn’t work for details like faces and hands/fingers (though you can move the joints, which is awesome). So I use this app for basic outline and other apps for fine details. I also wish it had realistic children and infants, and more props.

Doesn’t work on my ipad. When I first got it, it worked really well. I took a small break and when I attempted to use it again it didn’t work. I wanted to buy some furniture but it said that I needed to sign in which wasn’t an issue since I already had an account but it wouldn’t let me log in at all. Whenever I tried to log in it would just load from 10-20 minutes before saying that an error has occurred. I ended up making a new account with the email that I had started using and confirmed my email, but even then it still wouldn’t let me log in. I did everything I could, I even reset the password but it just didn’t work. I decided to just delete the account I just made since I wasn’t going to use it. I tried using the website since that’s where I usually went whenever I needed to delete an account but it was useless. I ended up downloading it on my phone and managed to log in but even then it still wouldn’t allow me to delete my account.

Mostly great update!. For the most part I think the new update is great. Tons of new stuff has been added that I really felt the app could’ve used! However, my issue with this new update however is that I found moving the models to be even harder than they already were before the update. I can’t exactly put into words what it is that’s so difficult about it, but the way the models move now is significantly harder and more frustrating than it was before the update. I understand moving individual pieces on a 3D model would probably be difficult already, but beforehand I was able to get the right pose without too much trouble. Now it’s a challenge to just move individual parts around. I think if you just reverted the modeling process back to the way it was beforehand, this update would be perfect.

Update lowkey ruined it 😫. Ive had this app since December 2021 and in January there was an issue with my phone where I couldn’t update my apps (the issue has been resolved a week ago). During the app version I was stuck with for over 9 months, there were many free amenities such as more models allowed on the canvas, more props, poses, models, etc. and now you have to get pro to use these, meaning you have to pay for them. This honestly kinda irritates me bc I needed a lot of these for art poses and inspo. Another issue was that I couldn’t log into my old account, so I had to create a new one to replace the old one. This last issue may seem a bit silly to some, but I don’t like how I can’t rotate the head of a model left to right anymore 😭🔥 it may seem dumb but it’s a rlly big issue to me. Idk if it’s a glitch or if I legit cannot rotate it left to right anymore. This is a really big blow to me bc I absolutely loved this app and it was very useful to me, but now I find myself searching for a different art pose app to use

I love this new update, and everyone else does too. Don’t listen to these negative reviews.. I finally downloaded it and man, I can finally pose bodies like mine with really cool lighting. Everyone is so happy about the new update on Twitter and I can see why. I’m surprised to see all these negative reviews on here when the devs gave us an amazing tool for a really good one-time price, with a sub if that’s what you want. A lot of the negative points are from folks who are mad they 1) “have to pay” when no one is forcing you to and 2) you guys have iPhones? Which definitely cost more than $10.. But you’re mad at the devs for asking for some money. Yikes. If you want something free without the features this app has? Or just two basic models to pose for free? Go use those apps. They are already there for you to use, but clearly you like Magic Poser more because of what they have to offer and you just want it all for free. I WISH I had something like this back when I was in school.

Saved me a lot of cash. I was trying to improve my drawing skills with posing, at first I searched up google posing references, which is hard to get specific, then I considered buying the little mannekin, but my problem with them is that they don’t look like humans, but then, I heard of the “Body chan” and “Body kun” figures, that looked amazing, but were really expensive, so I searched up some programs to simulate the same experience, but all of them looked too complex when I just wanted to pose, but then i found the perfect program, and it was just for Windows, then I stumbled to this app. After watching some videos, decided that I wanted to try it, and it was pretty great, it was easy to use and the models are great! My only gripe with this app is the lack of items, thats it.

Was a little too excited to update. So the update seemed cool, I like the expansion of model sizes and the slider features, but I am having issues with joints constantly moving too far and looking unnatural, the uniforms still do that weird stretching thing when you rotate certain parts, and I can’t access some of my scenes anymore because it won’t let me use the models I had. It also feels a little disappointing because I liked the wombat coin system and have been checking in every day to save up for some new scenery and now all of that is gone and it feels like I wasted my time creating scenes I can’t use anymore on this app. :/ It was really disappointing because I liked using the app, but why would I want to use something that takes away access to the scenes and reference poses I put a lot of time into. It was nice while it lasted, but I think I’ll just start making my own models and poses in blender from now on.

UNFAIR. So I was having such fun and a good time with this app. Had it for literally YEARS. Recently, I joined their one time payment pro membership and all was going fine UNTIL SUDDENLY some objects and stuff that I was using that was available for me use has suddenly become UNABLE TO USE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOW IN THE MASTER VERSION (which is like $16/month!!!?????). So because those unuseable objects are stuck in my works ( works I’ve spent hours on posing and building per scene may I add) I can’t even OPEN my scenes cuz I SUDDENLY NOW need the master version!? So because I worked so hard on my stuff and can’t rlly recreate my work that is suddenly unable to be opened cuz I need the master version- I’ve basically been forced to get the master version. I loved the app soooo much but I will have to eventually use another app cuz there’s no way I can keep the $16/month master version. The ppl in control of this app rlly did me soooo dirty. I was literally in the middle of working on a big scene and the only way I can access it again is by getting the master version. The master version only having a ONE week trial.

Went against apples TOS. Hopefully you guys don’t end up like notability.. I purchased accessories for the Konata model. Since I draw anime, I would always aim to use her character. Upon opening the app, they now charge a subscription, which I believe is 7.99$. To have something locked behind a paid character is extremely messed up, this happened to others too. I hope to report this app for going against apples Guidelines. Notability did something similar and since, went downhill and bought GoodNotes lots of customers. I truly hope you all the best, but what you did was not a smart move. You totally deserve funding, but subscriptions are likely to have less buyers, as we pay for so many subscriptions a month most prefer to buy something once and own it. Before the excuse that it takes time to update the items to all the free assets, that’s no excuse. You should of waited before releasing the update to make sure we were getting it back or refunded. It’s sad so many company’s go towards a subscription instead of a one time payment, and do it’s customers completely dirty.

Love the new update but a little disappointed. The new update is super nice and I don’t mind the subscription for masters though I’m sad that the coin system is gone. I used those coins to get props mainly and now I have to pay the subscription for master to be able to use those props. I’m not a consistent artist so paying for this subscription for all the props when I only want certain ones is just not worth it but I’m willing to pay if I could keep the prop permanently. That’s why I’m disappointed the coin system is gone. I think it would be cool if the pro version made each individual prop available to purchase to keep permanently, like in the masters versions you get every prop automatically when you pay the subscription but in the pro version you can buy/unlock props using money and keep permanently.

Disappointed. I had found this app a few months ago, before the new upgrades that were added. And I don’t mind the new content, and I don’t even mind that you need to pay for it. I understand developers need money too. Plus, the new body types that have been added are wonderful! And I can understand needing to pay for those. But what annoys me, is that we need to pay for things like more than 2 models on the screen. Or needing to pay to duplicate things. That’s what annoys me about this new update. Please consider allowing non-paying members to have multiple models in one scene, and don’t make us pay for shortcuts like duplication. Things like this have made me consider deleting the app, just because it limits my art so much. But there’s nothing else out there that accommodates like this app does.

Great app. I would usually use this as a reference for drawing but the only problem I would have for it was the lack of models, clothing and props. However, after seeing the most recent update I can see that the developer is working very hard on the quality of the app! I really like the new system that uses in game currency as well as the new models and props added. My only suggestion would be a larger variety of clothes and hair and maybe eye color. Besides that, very impressed with the new update. Edit: Thank you for responding! I think there should be at least some basic clothing such as casual outfits and pajamas. I would also like a larger variety of simple hairstyles. I read some other responses where you are planning to add a grouping feature where you can combine shapes with other shapes. I also heard you may add a feature where you can bend and curve shapes. I think those features would be great!

Can you add this?. So I have recently discovered this app and have loved, I work traditionaly for right now because I cant afford a tablet and stuff. But this seriously helped when I needed anatomical poses. However since I work traditionaly I had to sorta copy it by eye or I had to somehow trace it, I decided to trace it for more accuracy but it was super annoying and difficult. But I think a cool feature that could make that process more enjoyable would be a tracing mode where it locks the screen and nothing can move until you do a command or something that allows the screen to resume, it could also brighten the screen a bit more and outline some parts of the body moreso. Though this would be appealing to a small audience, I still think it would be super cool.

Downloaded it and deleted it right after. I want to give you zero stars but that’s not possible so I give you a one. My main question would be what’s the point of letting people download the app for free if you’re going to make them pay for everything within the app?? I loved using it before but now I can even use a model beside the male model without even paying for it!!?? Like what genius thought of that?? You can barely use the app without having to pay for something. Someone is clearly setting y’all up, people loved this app because how useful it is and the fact that’s it free but with this new update y’all just played y'all selves. If there’s one thing I hate the most it’s downloading free apps that just make you pay for everything before you even use it. On top of that it’s not even a one time payment? Like what are y’all doing, people loved the app before and used it all the time because how great it is! This is honestly so sad I’m really hoping some type of changes are made because this is ridiculous.

Great app, have yet to be disappointed. Ive been using MagicPoser for the better part of three years. It has been a grear tool for me amd has definitely helped me shape up my anatomy and perspective. There are models and props that cost money to use, and a lot of people seem to be upset about that. Please realize though that there are /people/ taking their time to make this app. Making the models and props isn’t easy. They spend so much time making sure the shapes, the coloring, the lighting, the joints and everything else works correctly to ensure a great user experience. This is their job. And just like you would pay for craft supplies in a store, its only fair that you pay the workers behind MagicPoser for making this craft supply for you too.

More than one model. I’ve used this app for a good few years with my art, I used to love working with the models and creating my own fun scenes to recreate on procreate. I didn’t check into the app till recently, wanting to create a two person scenario when I found that I couldn’t even place two without having to pay. I don’t understand why something such as having at least two characters per scene is something we have to pay for. I would understand if maybe the limit was to 5 per scene before you have to pay, but to only be allowed one character? It just limits the people who cannot afford the subscriptions and takes away the creativity to the app. I’m disappointed, I really did love this app for its features. Maybe once things like this would be changed or fixed, I’d come back to this app, but for now I’m going to try and work with new apps instead. Thank you for reading, I hope most of our (the users of the app) words and conflicts regarding the app can be taken into great consideration.

Not unique, don’t pay for something you can get for free somewhere else.. ***Response to the developer reply: Your reply answers everything but the question I actually asked but it’s clear that you guys are not interested in hearing feedback with your copy and paste responses. The app is GENUINELY not worth $10 let alone the high pricing model you guys offer above that. The models are basic and you can find a dozen similar apps that do the job better FOR FREE. Why would I pay $10 for something that I have previous experience with, something that I am fully aware is not worth $10. I’d rather spend that money on a steam game with fully designed assets and not drawing models that have “features” that are always wonky and disproportionate I’ve been using this app for a few years and I’ve always loved the content—so why the one star review? Money. This new change really disables a lot of the content that made this app my go-to, why would I pay $10 just to access basic models that other apps offer for free?

Happy Magic Poser Customer. I am giving this app 5-stars for having excellent human figures, excellent joint ranges of movements, beautiful props, intuitive workflows, nice body morphing functions, prompt to respond, professional, and very knowledgeable customer support services! I am creating a website for clinical education in primary healthcare and this app is extremely helpful in my teaching process for orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics and other medical and nursing disciplines that require the use of body mechanics to illustrate various disease processes. I like the availability of different human figures in various age groups and the ability to portray different body structures from ectomorphs, mesomorphs, and endomorphs. This enables me to illustrate pathologies associated with body habitus as well as a variety of diseases seen across the lifespan! This app is amazing!

This new update is horrendous 😕. I absolutely loved this app it was easy to use and I could easily get things done for drawing projects but now it’s impossible to use and having to pay to get simplistic things is unfair. I really think there should of been an option to keep the old app version. I’m not satisfied with the new update at all.😞 the lack of rotation for some parts is very disappointing. If there was work in progress for models then keeping the old poses for now would have been better until more is worked on. It’s really frustrating now to do anything for my projects. I’ve already looked through the tutorials but they don’t really help me. I’m trying to curl fingers and I have no way to do that except manually with drag and that’s not working with me. I don’t have the curl option display for the models I use and need. I’m unsure if I’ll be keeping this app much longer.

Read this if you are looking for a cheaper posing app that is good. I tried this it was nice, it reminds me of the blender software I use. Anyway there is an app called Poseit. Poseit is free for most of its features and it’s pro feature gives you full access for only 5.00 dollars, no subscription. You can pose characters in Poseit like the ones in magic poser and you can customize the way the body of the character looks, sort of. Anyway I have used Poseit and I think anyone that is having trouble finding a good posing app should use Poseit. Also Poseit it good for people who are starting to draw people, since some things might be to difficult to shape. Also if Poseit doesn’t work for you use blender. It’s a completely free modeling software that you can use to make all sorts of amazing things from models to animations and mini movies. You could use blender for character posing and it’s completely free! 1 thing. You can only use it on a computer or pc it isn’t a mobile app. 2. You have to make your model or animation in the software 3 you can find tutorial videos for blender from many youtubers 4. You can get models from websites but it depends because some models people make can range from free to about 100 dollars Anyway this app was okay…. But Poseit for me is better…

Elegant and Helpful. Easy to use, easy to share from, and overall well designed. The functionality is there, there are enough basic options for free, and the ones you get for the small cost of premium are worth it; in my opinion. The interface is both functional and elegant, and while there is a learning curve for how joints will react to being moved, it took me only 30 minutes of messing around to be what I would call competent at achieving the poses I’m aiming for. Using a touch screen, there were inevitably times when I flung the model across the screen while trying to adjust the camera angle, however the “Undo” tool has saved my hide and my progress more times than I can count. Honestly, this app does exactly what it needs to without complication.

Impressed but disappointed. Update: I was impressed with how much you could do on the app for free. And if the one time payment was only $10, I was excited and paid for it. Why not? However I was disappointed in what I got for just the pro. I had really wanted the anime models more than anything but seeing that I didn’t end up getting more than just one, that’s going to loose a star for me. I might suggest implementing packs for certain models and props, backgrounds etc. Like how the Maxis handles do their business practice with expansions. Or to not be afraid to make the pro a little more pricey (say $35 for half of the gallery, $75 for the full gallery is give an example.) I wouldn’t mind paying more than $10 if it meant I got more than just a few props and a model. (Side note, I did not buy props or any models before the new payment system) Another thing, I don’t understand is why downloading from the community should be behind the masters paywall?

It’s bad-. So I downloaded this app a while back and it was fairly decent. There were an ok amount of free options but moving the characters body was a little annoying. I had deleted it because it was too complicated. Moments ago I have reinstalled it and noticed it looked different. Obviously the first thing I did was go to the shop to get some stuff, but oh my god…. You have a few free characters and VERY FEW free furnitures/hair/and props. It was pretty bad before, but it got worse. You used to be able to place multiple characters at a time, but now you can only place one. You have to buy pro to place more characters. I’m not doing that because it’s not worth it. There’s like two things called pro and master subscription things. I didn’t care to see how much it was, nor will I go back and check. This app is just so greedy and that is why I won’t recommend it to anyone. If y’all are looking for a good reference pose app with a little variety for people who cannot purchase in app products, turn away from this app because it’s not what your looking for. Thanks for reading, have a nice day.

You guys messed up. You guys made a pro version and I want the old version you guys made every single feature for pro I can't make it fat or skinny or buff and I cant use a single character besides the one when I make a pose you guys messed up nobody will like this update I can't use my scenes I claim my daily award nothing happens I can't buy anything in the shop with my coins and there is no point of having coins pls give us back the old version so we can have fun and why did this update have to come I know you're trying to make money but it's not a good update for the price and free to 9.99$ lucky I bought it for free and the price changed but change the update pls I am begging you to change the update if you don't I will not like this app again and tell everyone to delete the app again so pls change this feature for everyone so you can make it fun for all people who enjoy this app and i cant use props so if you can change it it would be nice

This is really dumb. You’re stupid editor I don’t have enough money to buy your thing you just want money you’re so greedy you should be happy everyone likes the game you shouldn’t be happy because you want your money your money is filthy and stupid I’m about to be sitting here paying all day long I don’t even have any my money because I’m a nine-year-old I was looking for a game that didn’t cause anything shouldn’t you put like a limit to how much of the character you can add into that poser because I can only add one I had to make a sword and you didn’t let me because your stupid game is trash you are the worst editor ever I don’t have money at all you should fix something about that and let me add more characters as I want I made one sword for no reason I was going to make a themed person fighting and I can’t because I have to pay and I don’t have money in my iPad not anymore you are the worst I’m going to delete your game and give you one star

I like MP but I have some feature requests (edited). 3 features I would like to see in MP if they aren’t already planned or being worked on: 1) Specularity 2) Reflections (armor, cyborgs, mirrors, androids, etc.) 3) Subsurface Scattering If these aren’t possible, that’s okay. But if these are possible and if you do decide you add these features, please don’t make them only for the “Master” version. Sure, this app is convenient but why would I pay a monthly fee when I could just use Daz 3D on my Windows laptop for free? Reply: Magic Poser has features that are better than Daz 3D? Please elaborate :-) Also, tell me why I wouldn’t just buy cheap or free rigged models for Blender instead of MP? I could also use Make Human with it’s Blender plugin. And then I could use all the features for FREE that I requested in the beginning of this review with a TON of more flexibility and MORE features than MP could only hope for. Your altered review long after my initial review (probably in the hopes that I wouldn’t come back here and see your altered response) has earned you a 1 star review. It’s sad because you’re not seeing any money from me ever as a result of your deception.

I’m a little disappointed. Now before I say my issue with it, let me just say this new update is amazing, making scenes is so much smoother and easier… But that’s all thrown out the window due to this new subscription system. Yes there is a free version, and the pro is only a 1 time $9.99, but the Master is over 15 bucks a month. Before you could buy coins or grind for days to get exactly what you want, but now you have no choice but to pay in real money, and when you do you’re getting a bunch of things you probably won’t used on a regular basis. I get it though, you’re a company, the app is free, you need money and not many people buy Wombat Coins, but this is a pretty disappointing way to do it. Maybe you could have stuff buyable with coins, and make some new stuff exclusive to the subscriptions or something.

What happened?. So I used to have this game before, Everything was free and I found it fun to mess around in! But eventually I had to delete it because I had very little storage. But now I look back at this and I think “ Well, I want to start drawing humans better so I should get this game again! “ so I redownload it just to find out that everything now costs money and now there’s a membership and it disappoints me, Otherwise it’s a great game and I do recommend downloading it if you can pay the membership. I’m sorry this Review was short, but there’s not much wrong with the game other than the Membership and Paying to have more models. If the creator is reading this, Keep up the work!

Now I don't need to google search references as much. For me, it's not very easy to find the poses that I imagine or really think about. And sometimes just staring at a photo isn't exactly enough when sketching, so it's especially satisfying for me now that I can look at the models from other angles. 👌 what I like the most about the models is that I can change the character heights, considering that not everyone is 6 feet tall. However, I do have one complaint. The hand posing is very wonky. Even if I try to ball a hand into a fist, it looks very unnatural. Also, would it be possible to add more models of different body shapes? I hope I don't sound too picky, it's not like I'm unable to use my imagination at all, but I feel that it would make things a wee bit easier for other artists who use this. ^^

an amazing app, however.... i love magic poser to death, ESPECIALLY how open the devs are to ideas (a few years back i left another review with the idea of customizable options for models i believe - now we have them!) and criticism, though in the light of the new overhaul update i have a few ideas: easier ways to produce architecture scenes (merging groups together, making new models using the geometry models, more geometry models, things of that nature), being able to customize specific parts of the body (that way you can make a character with muscular arms and larger legs, for example) and additional customizing sliders would also be amazing! plus - locking specific joints. sometimes modeling can be tricky because trying to adjust one joint can move the entire model, so being able to adjust the arm with the foot joint locked for example, would be an AMAZING addition. more realistic models would also be great!! especially realistic models for younger ages and older ages (teen models, kid models, old models, etc.) model customization overall is something i really hope is improved!! i'll definitely keep using the app, as long as it keeps getting updated and improved :)

Something Constructive. This app is very good and I really enjoy it—that being said, there are many things that I believe would make the app better. I understand that they want you to get the pro version so they can make money, but the amount of things pro is necessary for is almost all. You can’t even change to a female character without paying for pro, nor can you change the body type. This is more of feedback to the developer(s) than for others. It is understandable to have lots of stuff reserved for pro use, and sure, keep it like that. That’s fine. But you do NEED (I use all caps for lac of italics) to make the character changeable. That’s not an accessory, that’s the point of the app. You need to be able to change at the very least the GENDER of the character. I encourage you to truthfully consider this request and make the change. Thank you.

A way to attract more people. Honestly this games features for free users is VERY small, for example the one thing that really bothers me is that you cannot have 2 characters in a edit, I feel that is just insane if I have to buy premium just for that. Is there a way I don’t have to pay in order to use 2 characters in the edit? Im not the type of person to complain about the game sucking after the update and I understand you need money to improve the game but could there be other features for free players too? My ideas were like 2-3 extra characters in 1 edit, and the ability to still use coins for items that you wanna buy. Pleas developers, this game was very fun before the update, main reason was just the simple multiple characters in one edit is all I want.

I looooove this app but I have a few suggestions. I really really love this app! It’s so amazing for art reference photos! But I have a few problems and suggestions to talk about. First of all, if your doing a whole set and character scene, it’s really hard to select a item if there is another item behind or next to it. I suggest making an option to lock a item in place so that you won’t accidentally move it when your trying to move something else in front of it, it would make it a lot easier! second, I’m kind of mad that there is no option to make a character a different body shape, other than making it so that the only way to make the character bigger is by make the WHOLE body bigger, even though you can do that with OBJECTS. I suggest putting a body fat AND a height scale so you can customize it to your character. Or better yet, making multiple scales saying things like: leg size, chest size, stomach size, etc. I just don’t like the lack of individuality of the bodies. Third, if you zoom too far out from the subject, you can’t zoom back in as easily. Forth, when you try to make a character touch the ground without bending the knees, it only goes halfway. It’s really annoying when you have a specific pose that includes that, you extremely limited. but overall AMAZING app. Definitely recommend.

Awesome app but I’m a bit let down. So I’ve been using this app for somewhere around 3 years on and off and it was AMAZING! The posing, characters, props etc were all great, the wombat coin format was pretty cool and the mechanics where easy to adjust to and learn. This new update was pretty cool, until I saw that EVERYTHING was behind a pay wall. I haven’t seen how much pro costs (since I got a free month trial, thanks!) but I’m guessing it’s a reasonable price and I saw the developers say it’s a one time purchase, but I’m still a little let down. Stuff I was saving up for like the sanzo model (since it’s the only taller male anime model) I cant get now because I have to pay for it I know the developers need an income to keep working on the app, but I wish at least some of the models and props were left alone. Like some of it would still cost wombat coins but everything else would still need pro or something like that. But, it can’t be changed now so no use ranting about it. All in all, this app is amazing for art and I’ll probably still use it regularly! Most of the old features are still free so that’s pretty nice, but if you're here for the features like the body morph and stuff like me, you better be ready to spend a bit of money.

Meh, not as great as the original version. I used to use this app a lot before the new update came out. I was able to make various poses that helped with my art! I stopped using the app for a long time and I come back to see it’s not the same. I understand the need for monetary options since this is a free app. However, I don’t see why features that are essential (able to use 2 models) need to be locked behind a paywall. It’s unfortunate it had to be this way. It feels like the devs are forcing you to pay to enjoy the app rather than it being optional. Now I can’t access my old poses I worked hard on without paying. At least let me be able to fully view, without editing. Although the price isn’t outrageous, not everyone can afford it. I prefer ads. This used to be a great free solution for poses. I no longer find this app useful so I’ve uninstalled and switched to an alternative. If the free version goes back to the way it was, I might consider coming back. I doubt it.

Ruined it with the update. This used to be an amazing app and super useful with plenty of features. There was a paid version but the things locked behind it felt fair, you could still use the app without paying for anything. All of a sudden they have this new update and at first it looked great considering the main point was you can now change the model’s weight and muscle mass but then when I tried it out all of a sudden the majority of the models are locked and need you to pay, the only one that was free was the standard male. Came back a few days later and found now only the stylized models are locked and thought “oh they must’ve gotten critique and listened” but then I find out you can only use one model per file. You can’t have more than one model in a scene without paying for their pro version. It’s so stupid and such a shame considering this was the best free posing app available. If you want to make a paid app just make a paid app, don’t advertise it as free with an “optional” paid version if the free version is basically unusable.

Content, but not satisfied with my options. I respect the team of developers who’ve built so much upon this wonderful and accessible tool for art reference. The pricing is still somewhat of a let down, and while I’m not complaining so much about the lack of objects/outfits in the pro version - it would be quite nice to include a tad more. I’ve noticed in later updates that some items have also been moved exclusive to the master subscription, as I no longer could open scenes that I created as ‘free’ for when my master free trial would expire. Adding onto this, please consider taking away the message pop-up, and instead let the user open the scene with missing objects, as I’d love to improvise an existing foundation rather than go through the trouble of creating from scratch. I ask these suggestions kindly.

Why. This app used to be awesome, I could make anything I want. Well say goodbye to that. Its completely unusable now, without buying 25 dollars of everything. I dont get it, why? You cant even make more than one character, and you have only 1 character to use without everything being costly. I dont get the point of adding this update when everyones gonna delete this app because of it. Dont hit me with that, “it’s only 9 dollars, you can get everything and see the details, and you can cancel at anytime, and the first month is free!”, that does NOT do anything to help with the cash grab AT ALL honestly… That’s just unfair that you make the one app I loved a literal pay-for-everything app. There are only 4 hairs and they are uglier than any hair ive seen, they are only usable on the man and the woman costs money too. I get that you’re needing money, but COME ON MAN… Dont give me that reply like you did with everyone, saying useless trash that’s not even related to what I said, I wanna see why you made this app like it is now. Again, if you make at least more than half the items free, we wont delete the app.

Update is questionable. I really loved this app as it’s amazing for drawing yet this new update is worrying me. I get that you want your money but the app was so much better user-wise pre update. I was looking at what the free version offers (only have one month of pro) and it seems like that version only offers a male model?? And you can only add 1 model per scene?! I hope I’m misunderstanding because that is just messed up!!! I can see other people are heavilyyy disappointed as well. So please listen to your users and change the app back to allowing multiple models to a scene along with access to the features we used to have pre update (orrr just bring back the coins!). The one feature I want back the most is allowing multiple models in a scene. If you brought that feature back, it would help your users have a better experience on the app and I don’t see how that can cause you to lose money. I want to continue using this app yet once my month of pro is done, I might just have to leave and find a better app.
