Limited. Most of what I write us in 7 or 8 strings. I don't see that functionality currently. Also being able to import existing guitar pro files would be cool

Great app, just needs a couple more things. This is a great app, it just needs a couple more things to accommodate more guitarists needs. This app needs to give the user the options of choosing how many strings they have on their guitar, it would be extremely helpful and convenient if the developers made the options of adding 7, 8, and 9 strings for extended range guitar tabs. The other feature I would love to have in the app is custom tunings for each string and custom tunings for 7, 8, and 9 string guitar tabs. This would make creating guitar tabs so much more easy and fun, and with more and more guitarists moving to 7, 8, and 9 string guitars these days, this app would be used by a lot more guitarists. If the developers added the features I mentioned above, it would make this app the BEST guitar tab app on the market!!! Please consider adding these features to this app. It would make it the best app for guitar tab writing.

Needs.... Needs ability to change volume per notes. Needs ability to play multiple tracks. Needs more instruments.

Is it possible if the app could get a 6/8 time signature?. This app is near perfection it just need other time signatures like 7/4 8/4 6/8 and stuff like that

Can’t use it unless I can change the tunings. I can’t find out if I could have an 8 string instrument in custom tuning for example. Specifically I need 4, 5,6,7,8, 10 strings - in all sorts of tunings. Ideal would be to build our own templates. There are other tunings listed which is nice, but not everyone uses the same intervals when they do open tunings. It’s a big world, not everyone plays guitar. Let us know.

No tempo change function?. Hey Aleksandar! Great app, but could you please update with an ability to insert tempo changes mid-song? I see that users are able to do this with time signature, but being able to insert tempo changes wherever one wants would really be the icing on the cake to an otherwise perfect app.

Needs more/ custom tuning. I write a lot of my songs in alternate tunings that aren’t available on the app. If there was maybe an option to set the note on each string in the tunings section that would make it easier for me and probably everyone else who uses any alternate tuning

Great app, wish it had 6/8 timing. ...and a bunch of other features that I can't think of right now. Probably the easiest to use though!

The way it saves songs doesn’t work. 3 of my tabs were deleted that I’ll never get back

Spectacular app!. I am very impressed with this app! It works just the way that I wanted it to work. Its easy to work with but still obtains everything that you may want such as dropped tunings, just to name one out of the many others. Overall, I am very impressed with how well this app works, and I will start using it daily for making music! 👍

Good for it’s price, amazing for free. Honestly, the app’s pretty easy to learn and understand, the only problem I’ve been having is just that i can’t find C-Standard in the tuning section, which blows cuz I love C-Standard, it might just be me though, as I’m a pretty novice player with guitars.

Guitar Tabs X. A little sad that it’s only 2 lines long, wish it was longer.

Great but keep adding things for us to use. I love the app. It works great, but I’d love to see functions that allow chords over the tab. The option to write introduction notes about the song like what track number on the album or if there is a certain way one should be playing the piece. I’d also love more tuning options or a custom tuning option where you can type in the notes for each string. AND CAPOS! Songwriters use capos all the time. We absolutely need a function for that! Overall though great. I give it 4 stars. If you keep adding to this app, it will earn 5 stars, and it will reach more and more guitar players to use for their personal tabbing template. I have good faith in that.

Help. I don’t have a 6/8 time signature, and please add a way to add chords on top

Great, but needs more.. I love this app for the riffs I write in standard, or “lighter” tunings, but I also write alot of drop tuned riffs on my 7 string, and most are in drop g#, which isn’t possible on this app. I really hope they add some extended range options sometime, overall a good app though. No monthly subscription, and the “premium” version is decently priced. Would recommend for anyone who needs to keep track of songs they write for their band or just for yourself.

Something wrong?. Hello Yesterday I bought the application but it only allows me to make 4 tabs. It doesn't let me save and it changes the name of all the projects to the last name. What do I use? I bought this app because I found it very good and I even paid on my other iPad for the month but it the same what is wrong?

a little rough.. Its not the most intuitive , or the best sounding, or that good, but its definitely the one i use

Missing notations. Would be great if you could add notation for slides, quarter and half bends. Also an ability to mark bar repeats.

Pretty good but could be a lot better. Having more time signture options would be a great addition. Having the option for 6/8, 8/8, and 7/4 would be a big help, as well as being able to change tempo in the middle of a song

Super Flipping Awesome. But it would be cool if you could be able to make Drum tabs. That would be one wish if that could happen any time soon

Garbage. Once you try to make a tab over 150 bpms the notes just become a complete mess and there is no differentiation between the sounds. They basically mold into each other. And if it doesn’t do that then the tab just doesn’t play at all. This is a terrible app.

Pretty dope. App is pretty cool, I’m more inclined to write songs since I’ve had it I just wish there was a 7/4 time signature :(

Love it so far. More strings possibly?. It would be cool to not be limited to 6 strings. I’d even pay more. Just an option to add an extra line or two, people are writing with extended range guitars now (7s, 8s, and 9s... even 10s now). Please please please??🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂

Missing chord names. If I could put Chord names over the measures this would be a 5 Star app. It does just about everything I need it to do. The addition of half and whole notes would help as well.

Ok app. Needs a couple of things to be great.. Functionally it’s fine, but it’s missing a couple of things. I really need to be able to notate verse and chorus. Also please 1st and 2nd ending options. Adding bar numbers would also be very welcome. It’s so close to being great. Keep updating!

Garbage. It’s deletes your songs if you try to create new ones

Really great tab maker. This application served me well when making tabs. One request that I hope the developer sees is to add a function to add words/letters on top of every bars for when we want to the chords.

Wrong Tuning - Needs To Be Fixed. Dropped 1/2 is all out of whack. It's supposed to be as followed (D#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D#) but is instead as followed (D#, G#, E#, F#, C, D#). Really needed that for convenient writing on the go for when I come up with some catchy stuff at work on our down time so it's not forgot later; but I can always just use standard for now and move it down later. It's otherwise a fairly decent app. I'm digging it so far.

Needs more. Good app for tabs but there needs to be more. You need to add a sound for the ghost notes and you should add a five string bass and seven string guitar. Overall good app

Just Missing A Couple Things. I’ve been using this app for about a week and love it so far. The most glaring need I see is the inability to add chords to the top of the tab. Don’t have much complaint beyond that and the ability to add text.

!!!. Great app! Would be great if you add a hammer-on/ pull-of and slide features

Needs Hammer-ons.... ... and Pull-offs to be useful to me, but others may like it. Not a bad start, but useless for me at this point.

Overall - I like it. It does what I need which is nice. Some features I’d like to see: Hammer-on/Pull-off Ability to copy and paste multiple bars/sections Ability to notate bars/sections of bars with descriptive text

Disappointing. Buggy. UPDATE: Author very responsive. Helped immediately!. Disappointing. Promising features but very buggy. Had a problem with app confirming a file save when it had not. Contacted author and he was very responsive and he messaged back and forth with me until we had a solution. Turned out to be a coding issue with including a “/“ in the composer field. Author promises fix in next update. I am very encouraged that the app author was so responsive.

Great App that needs just a couple of things. Overall, I love the app. The ability to tab something out, listen to it played back, and change the metronome are great. Things that I think would really improve it. Copy - paste functionality Chords over the Tab Insert a bar 1 1/2 step bends Hammer on and pull offs. If support is here, I do not see it Also it needs to work better with the keyboard folio. IT can be difficult to scroll down if you have a lot of songs and want to add a new one.

Literally lost like 4 songs. The save feature keeps bugging out and I lose entire songs that took me mad long to prepare... it’s such a hassle bc I need these tabs out by the end of the week for my band now I have another hour of work to do, Please fix this bug👍🏼 but otherwise works great, I’d like to see a feature for harmonics/Pinch Harmonics.

For those who can’t save more than 1 song. You need the title and save it. You will then be able to make a new one without your old one being erased. If you’re making a new song and your old one erases its case you have them saved as the same name. Name your songs!

It’s okay. There is so much missing there is no dots, yes there is ties, however sometimes you might not want to write it that way. Another thing is that you can only have one instrument playing on one thing I would like to see an option on the top to switch instruments, having multiple, and being able to hear them all at once. Another good thing to have would be is more time signatures for instance i needed 6/8 but it wasn’t there, as well as being able to have a percentage of the tempo so you can slowly build up to it, for instance 50% of 110bpm. The list goes on and on, but I think you get the idea there needs to be a lot more put into this for it to be considered perfect.

Great. Best out there but needs more features

Perfect for songwriting or learning tab. I use this app all the time! I bought it when I had an android, then bought it again when I got iPhone XR, that how much I like it! However, I wish it had a capo option or harmonics option. Any more than that you should seek another app, because too much detail can easily make things more complex,thus driving the cost up, it’s good the way it is.

Dotted half note. Interface of the app is very easy to use but there is no dotted note option for half notes which is crucial in almost all tabs

No sound. Occasionally I open or make a new tab and get no sound. Please fix

Noice. Love it, really easy to use, amazing overall. The problem is, I double tap the delete button accidentally sometimes and then it goes brr and starts eating up all my music. That feature is pretty unnecessary and troublesome, but other than that, amazing. Please fix!

My Opinion for the app. This app is alright, you only get to create 6 songs and then you have to pay 18 dollars for a year or 1.49 dollars per month. You should be able to create more songs before paying. The tab maker is pretty hard to use if you don’t know what the rhythm of your song is. If you copy of paper onto the device it is a lot easier. I find it 75% difficult to use and 25% easy. This was the best tab creator I could find out of all the 8 I looked at. It fantastic compared to others, so this could be your best option.

Does exactly what it says.. This is an outstanding app. Very easy to use excellent user interface, there may be some bells and whistle’s I haven't explored, but I’ve been creating tabs for a fingerpicking exercise and I can’t believe how easy it is with this app.

Wrote my first sheet music. Hey fellow musicians! I just wanted to give this application credit for making the most important feature for free. I can make music with every spec for my guitar no problem. I downloaded this app to make my first piece of work and it was simple and easy. Its only paid for a few extra features but the app can be used for free. Thanks developers!

Great editor. I was able to write and sample a composition on a bus trip from Montreal to Toronto. I will tell others how easy and functional it is to use.

Does what it says it does.. Cool app, but it would help users to have some music theory. There is no in-app help, and no speaking tutorials in the. App or online. I can’t figure out how to insert rests or 1/8 notes. So I like it, but am not able to duplicate the Walkin’ Blues by Eric Clapton. I paid the subscription fee but I didn’t see any added features so maybe this was a waste? I may revert back to hand written tabs.

easy to use, but…. my document disappeared when i ducked out of the app for a minute to check something. gone. it was only about 20 minutes worth of work, but, still. why isn’t there an auto-save function? everybody’s got an auto-save these days! grrrr.

Quick and Easy!. This is a great app for jotting ideas down quickly. Very simple to use! Functionally, it's the proverbial "back of a napkin". If that's what you're looking for, you'll love it! Please don’t ruin this gem by piling on a ton of features - it’s simplicity is it’s greatest strength. Minus one star for being limited to .xtab file format. This app NEEDS to talk to other apps, and that makes things more difficult.

Good app. Does what it should do reasonably well. I wish it had the ability to add a capo that affects playback.
