Issues after the most recent update. It worked well on my phone until the most recent update on June 23. I cannot access my school’s VPN anymore, which has caused a lot of trouble for my work and study. It can still work on my laptop where the app has not been updated.

Great app. I enjoy using this fast and easy , with no speed drop absolutely lovely , however there is this one thing that bothers the app is not remembering password for my connection or i better say for any connection and that is kinda painful everytime you have to type a password ☹️

This is one the worst VPN apps. Missing very simple basic features such as saving passwords. You can't have multiple usernames being saved. I'm frustrated by copy pasting credentials from other places to this app. It's like a year people are asking for this but it seems like cisco employees get their salaries to tell you to call your network administrator. This is 90 percent of the responses to any feature request.

Great but not enough. It’s great, but I have two problems: 1. I can't save the password, and every time I enter password 2. Sometimes selected network is changing to not selected

Fast connection. Fast and stable connection and that’s just enough. Thank you. But it’s needed a remember password option to make using it easier.

iOS 14 Problem. All was fine and working like a charm but since I have upgraded to iOS 14 my connections get slower after like 15 minutes and my internet gets so slow I can’t do anything, I need to reconnect so I can use it again, I have several servers and this happens for all.

Password error. After updating the program, it repeatedly gives a password error message and the connection is not established, after turning the phone off and on, the connection is established, and if the connection is disconnected, it again gives the password error message, please fix this problem

Almost perfect. Never really had a problem with it. Always works when I need it to. That said 1 thing I would like to see is when I use an iPhone I can’t save the password to one click sign in. I always have to write the password every time. Other than that I really can’t say anything bad about it. Definitely a great app!

Less is not more. This review is specifically for the product logo. Who designed it? A 1st grader? It looks awful, like zero effort or thought went into the “design”. Seriously, who approved the change? The previous logo was better. It was obvious, unique, and did not need to be changed. The previous color pallet was warm and timeless. Who went into a board meeting and said “our design is no good, we need just a black circle and a singe curved green line. That makes it look better.” That person was an moron and I hope you read this and realize your graphic design skills are stuck in 2002. Why not just a single black line? Why not just a white square? Change it back, you hooligans.

Pls add save password. I love Cisco and i use this app for a long time but its really annoying that i have to enter password every time manually and it cant save it. even When the screen turned off, after i turn it on again i have to re-login and enter the password again I Don't know why they don't add such as this option

Crashing the new version. The new version is crashing to the working

Breaks with MacOS 13. The app worked perfectly for me until I upgraded to MacOS 13.0.1. Now I can't connect to my VPN for work without downgrading the OS. My only workaround for the time being is to use my work issued Windows laptop which is pretty much the worst. PLEASE FIX!!!

Why your app can’t save password. My problem is that why your app can’t save my vpn account password it’s really hard for me and more for my father to enter the password every time that we want to connect to vpn is it really hard for you to set some settings that could enable password save ? Please do it.

iOS 14 issues (?). Using this app for work, but since my upgrade to iOS 14 the app began to block my internet connection. I’m at home, connected to WiFi and connected to anyconnect. I need to walk my dog outside, I take my phone go out, WiFi connection is dropped, LTE is in place - no connection to the internet as well as to my corporate resources (everything was fine on iOS 13, flawless reconnection from/to WiFi <-> mobile network). Now I need to disconnect from my corp gateway (and I’m online again), I connect to corp gateway (enter credentials, second factor etc., more time) and then everything works until I get to WiFi zone, where my phone connects to the hotspot and I’m offline again until I disconnect Cisco. Same stuff happens in the office now: I go from the corridor to elevator, WiFi drops, LTE lives and I’m offline. Can’t use the app now as I need to disconnect and reconnect manually now.

Plz help . It crashes. I did updated and my ios is 12 . When you enter servers and wants to add configuration to the setting, cisco stop working

AnyConnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway. I am keep on getting below error message on all my apple devices since last few months and not able to connect. However, all windows devices are working fine. VPN Firewall is ASA-5510 “AnyConnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway. The local network may not be trustworthy. Please try another network”.

Work slow recently. This App used to work really good. Fast speed and stable network. But recently, I don’t know why it works really really slow, I can hardly open the google search page. What should I do?

Works with 11.2 with caveat. With the server side workaround, AnyConnect now works on iOS 11.2, so I'm revising my rating from 1 to 5 stars. Previous review: The VPN client will fail to establish a connection if running on a device with cellular and Wi-Fi both enabled. I reported this bug months ago but nobody has fixed it yet. Workaround is to disable cellular then you will be able to establish a VPN connection over Wi-Fi. If you want to establish a VPN connection over cellular, you will need to disable Wi-Fi.

How to save password. Hey there there is something so weird about this app which i can not save the password for my vpn configuration and every time i need to connect i have to enter it and it is so annoyin can you help us by updating the app?

Unable to switch Groups. I have this app through my school and use it while I’m abroad in China. Works pretty well but it’s finicky when it comes to the way you access the school’s VPN. It’s worked in the past but this summer the app seems different. My school has a “General Access” option and a “Library Resource” option for VPN, but this iOS app doesn’t allow me to switch between the two and so I’ve been unable to use the app. I hope the developers resolve this in the future, but for now, this VPN is almost useless.

Not working (corrected). Newest version crashes on iPhone X 13.3.1. (Fix) I had to uninstall and re-install the app on my phone. Works great.

new version bug. new cisco has a lot of bugs some when try to add new server some glitch happened and cant add server need to do 3-5 time try to add one . cant accept user pass more than 3 words . usually thats happened for the password . thanks again for great service . and thanks to your great team

VPN Automatically connects without user permission. At least once daily, at a random time of day, the VPN will connect automatically and with no notification that it has done so. The little VPN logo just pops up on the top left all of a sudden. Considering a VPN routes all traffic through Cisco's network, this is an unacceptable privacy invasion. Also annoying bc there are random websites like 9to5mac that are blocked by Cisco and before I realized what was happening, was confused as to why it wasn't loading suddenly. The only way to prevent this is to delete the app between uses and reinstall. Before using the VPN for the first time each install, it won't auto connect so I basically avoid this app like the plague. I do work at Cisco and yes it does. Something is turning it on without me opening any Cisco apps including any connections so this is because of Cisco not another IT department

ASA says this client doesn’t have a valid licenses. i did a ssl vpn on ASA with anyconnect deploying to remote users. those users work just fine but when i’m trying to use this app for my phone, i get debugs on my ASA saying this app doesn’t have a valid license?????????? all user authentication works...i wanted to use this app for mobile phones instead of built in IPsec.

When i open accounts and password and try to make my phone remember the password to this app there is a blank field that i need to fill and it says website and if I don’t fill it the process won’t be done actually I want the phone to remember the pass for this app not any website I really don’t know what to do

It’s Bad. The vpn is blocking my internet and I’m getting so frustrated. My college is making us download yet another thing and I need to have it to change my classes but whenever I have the vpn on, it blocks my WiFi and I can do nothing. It keeps saying no internet connection when I have it on and I’m blocked from the website when it’s off. I’m not a tech person nor do I like dealing with anything that isn’t done by a click so I have absolutely no clue what I’m suppose to do.

Great performance!. Using the app on deferent platforms for years. It’s just GREAT. I would rate it 5 star if there was a way to save passwords or use fingerprint instead. It’s frustrating to manually type it every time, especially for those who use it frequently. A gadget for toggling the connection would be awesome as well.

Entering password 50 time per day. This app works good as a vpn but!!!!! You must connect every short while, every lost connection, every time working with phone and diming it, and you must type the password every time! This is dumb (And i know it is your privacy)

Can I change my location. Can I change my location on any country or is just united state only , because I would love to change the location to other countries as well

Updates wipe out info. Really? With each update all my information is lost and I need to contact my IT department to set it up again. I'll see if they suggest any better connection service.. Update.. Improve user experience and performance. As a Cisco product, highly recommend to improve user experience: such as automatically saving password to be easy to reconnect, less battery usage during VPN connection activation. Please optimize those ASAP.

Error 907. This update has problem; When I write the password at the field to connect to vpn server, I get this error 907 , So I have to copy and paste the password to connect. Please fix it

Excellent Choice. This app works perfectly but I wish it could save my password so I didn’t have to enter my password everytime. So please consider this issue in your future updates.

Updated. Update: it turned out that the ‘unable to import certificate’ was a temporary problem and I was able to import the certificate the next day. I am no longer able to import certificate for my vpn in this app. (Error message: ‘import PKCS12 failed with error’) I imported the same certificate to anyconnect on another ipad (ios13)a couple months ago, and to legacy anyconnect on my current ipad (ios11) about a year ago. But now I can neither delete nor import the certificate in either anyconnect or legacy anyconnect on any of the two ipads.

Works most of the time. The last two days the connection just keeps hanging on connecting. I tried closing and reopening the app and still the same issue occurs. I wish I got an error message or something so I knew what was going wrong. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again.

It works again!!. Latest version work great and fixes network connectivity in airplane mode issue of previous version.

Accessibility settings not catered for. App works fine - but if ios is set to large text on iPhone then this app can’t scale the UI and thus becomes unusable without a change to standard text size.

AnyConnect is one of the worst pieces of software ever written. I do a lot of programming and cannot comprehend how in this day and age, Cisco cannot write an app that connects to a VPN. All the time there are new little bugs that make it impossible to log in, and it’s not a problem from the side of the connecting server. Maybe you guys should actually test your apps on a couple devices — I’m sure Cisco can afford to buy a couple iPads, iPhones etc. and properly test the software.

Very unhappy. Paid the money then did not work. Contacted the customer service many time but there was no response.

Adequate. It works but does nothing better than the legacy client. Needs to have IPv6 supported in the UI as no stats or details are displayed on native IPv6 connection to the server.

Not worth it. Installs and loads up nicely but, will drop out unexpectedly and without warning - all of a sudden you have no VPN. Also, does a terrible job overall : I am using it in China and everything is still blocked (Google, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram ...) all inaccessible. Might as well not have a VON installed at all.

Cant find cert bug. This app can't find the right cert and only option is auto which it can't find the installed cert. But if you use the legacy version it works fine.

Glitchy. Push notifications coming late, multiple pushes for the same request - some time out, some say Approved but the laptop app still returns Login error. Eats a lot of your work time instead of saving it as it is supposed to be.

Junk. Legacy version was great.. Can’t even add a cert to this version and they’ve been working on it for a year???

Remember Password. It’s really frustrating that it doesn’t have the option to remember the last used password. IOS disconnects this every time it goes to sleep and each time I have to type the password to get connected to the internet again.

Stops working after some time. The app stops working after some time (time-out error). You have to uninstall and reinstall it again to make it work

Save Password. Hi this is a great program. It's just the fault. For each connection you need to enter your account password and it's boring.

Plz Consider saving password option. Everybody has the password save problem and the dev team only copy paste their answer to all those feed backs on this issue , honestly its rude of you to do this , and your answer is ridiculous! Deleting your app ONLY for your attitude!

Unable to add VPN connection. Reinstalled the app and now I cannot add a new vpn connection. I get the alert to allow anyconnect to add new vpn connections, clicking allow takes me to the general tab in settings. I add the connection and nothing saves. Tried to turn on debug logs and the app froze. Quit the app, reopened it, tried to turn on debug logs again, and it froze /again/. Update: this is a personal device. Since then, not sure if an update corrected the issue, I was able to sign in. This isn’t the first time I’ve downloaded an update and was unable to sign in.

Communication Errors after Software update. Have no idea what’s wrong with the update. It worked well before the latest update but I can’t connect to the server any more only on the iOS devices...

Great app BUT.... What i don’t understand about the Cisco policy is why the App doesn't save the password...it always make it hard to connect. Very simple task that this app CAN NOT do.

Asks password every time. Good app for vpn, but it asks your password every time you want to connect, that a bit annoying if your vpn pass is something hard

Can’t remote into remote machine on LTE. Running iOS 14.2 and vpn connects fine on Wi-Fi and LTE, but when using Microsoft RDC to remote into corporate machine that only works on Wi-Fi not on LTE. This is really frustrating and annoying. Please look into this and fix asap.

Does it going to got SNI support any time soon?. It’s hard to believe that AnyConnect still don’t support SNI, which is part of the SSL VPN protocol. Hope you developers will consider adding it in the near future.

Doesn’t work in iphone6. I got the last update yesterday after that the app did not work in my phone. The doesn’t opdn and it always get me out I guess i have not update my app.

Like most Cisco software - junk. Cisco seems to have a serious problem with software. They could not possibly make their software harder to use or provide more confusing instructions and warnings. This is the third Cisco developed “solution” I’ve been subjected to. And their third failure.

I got a problemmm. I can’t save my vpn connection. I tried several times but the “save” button remains disabled.

Shut down when I switch to other app. When I need to get the secondary passcode for login, it will automatically shut down the login in phase, due to that I can’t login in the vpn forecer

A reliable vpn client. Works without any problems. Stable for 24hrs use

No connectivity to internal networks. I can authenticate to the VPN just fine, but then I can’t connect to any of my internal networks. Pinging any IP times out. Connecting to the same VPN on my PC works flawlessly, it’s just my phone that is having the issue both on and off the wireless.

Does not work with IOS 12.0.1 :(. I have been waiting for a potential update for 2 weeks now because once I updated my device to the new software Apple software, Cisco was no longer compatible. My whole college uses VPN for all their websites off campus so this is reeeaally problematic for me.

Why no option for saving password. First of all gotta admit the protocol the app uses works perfectly and I respect that but it’s such a lame issue that each time you have to select your connection and enter password after you use another vpn. YOU’VE GOT TO FIX THIS!!!! It’s ridiculous honestly and a bad name for Cisco. Respect from 🇮🇷

Crash on start. On my iPad Air m2 this app just crashes as soon as I start it now. Started about a couple of versions ago. Any fix for this?

VPN question.. I have a question for developers about what this VPN does? As a black box it works as intended. I am able to connect to the company’s server and check email. When i try to check my IP address it does not change from when i was not using vpn. Does anyconnect protect my other connections? Please reply. Once i understand i will change my rating to all five stars.

Terrible bug. Sometimes when it takes too long to connect the app hangs and just activity indicator animates. I have to restart the phone to fix it. It’s not good.
