Some bugs but love it. I love this and think this is such a great way to track your riding and keep up with your horse’s health! I would really love to do other things but I’m not really into paying for the membership. That’s fine though. Anyway, I’ve noticed that the app isn’t quite tracking the time of my loping correctly. I’ve tried to see if I can fix this, but I cannot. I don’t have a huge problem with this, but when I’m not with my trainer I’m with someone else, so my trainer always wants to know what I’m doing. Lastly, in my opinion I think the planning/ calendar part of the app should not be for members. It would probably be easier just to tap it and have it all planned out ahead of time. That is all I have to say! Great app and would definitely recommend to all equestrians out there!!! ~Isabel Y.

Decent but glitchy. I’ve used this app for only a few days now, so likely have not had the full benefit of what it has to offer. However, everything I had added for my horses’ info disappeared when I added a profile picture of myself..? Then today all of the sudden my ride yesterday and my ride this AM both disappeared!!! Even though I literally had just looked at both of those rides a bit ago. This is extremely frustrating because I had added notes to those rides for reference later too. I think this app offers a lot for equestrians, but these glitches are a big bummer and a big limitation too.

Wish it was like it was. I got this app a few years ago when I was riding in lessons a few times a week, and it has never been very accurate with the speed, but I was okay with that since I was just mostly walking and trotting, I deleted my app last year for the time I wasn’t riding and I redownloaded it this summer since I got a horse and I used another app to compare it, and the other app said I got to 16mph as max for that ride and this app said I got a max of 2.67mph, so the speed is very unreliable, and inaccurate. And now you have to pay for premium to add more than one horse…. I would suggest getting another app

My favorite equine app!. I love Equilab, and pay for the tracking service. I think it is well worth the money! I trail ride almost daily at a state forest that is not heavily trafficked, sometimes with but mostly without another riding partner. When I ride solo, it gives me a peace of mind that my family can watch and know I’m still alive and moving. The trail system can be extremely confusing and there are no markers, so I get lost frequently. This app gives me the ability to see where I am at and get back on track, while allowing my family to see why I’m running late for dinner! Lol! I also love the other tracking features. The gait tracking is pretty spot on accurate for me, as well as the turning left/right. I find the elevation portion very useful for knowing how far up the mountain we went. While tracking can sometimes (rarely) cut out, there are very few bugs. Can’t wait to see how this app continues to develop!!!

Seems accurate. So far, I’ve used the app in 2 trail rides and 1 arena ride. After reviewing the details the app really seemed to capture exactly what was going on. I like this over a human type app because it is riding and horse oriented so I will continue using it. However, things I’m missing that the human trackers have... 1. The ability to review on a web based platform, 2. The ability to export to a web based platform. If you can’t offer both at least offer #2. If one of the other competitor apps start to offer this I would probably ditch this app. Having to do everything in the phone is a little cumbersome sometimes and hard to read.

Eh. So I love love love this app because it helps me keep track with what I’ve done with horses in a lesson or ride, but for whatever weird reason it can’t seem to sense the halflinger that I ride’s canter unless we canter for over a minute which I don’t normally do because he likes to go slow and we’re working on building up his stamina. I have previous rides where it was able to sense his canter in small bursts, but I don’t know if it’s an update or what but it can’t seem to now. Also I would like the strides, steps, and other info from a ride back to look at other than that this app is good and I’d recommend it for any equestrian.

Not happy. We started out using the free features for this app but my daughter rides a lot by herself so we decided to try a month subscription. However we were not as pleased as we thought we would be so I personally went into her phone and unsubscribed before the month was over to avoid further charges. Because my daughter logged into her iTunes instead of mine when subscribing, I was not getting notified of the charges being charged through my phone or by email receipt for charges because of using her account. I was going through my bank transactions today and saw were we have been getting charged for the last 5 months when I canceled four months ago. The features for a subscription were not available after canceling four months ago but some how was still being charged for it, so I do not know or understand why I was still being charged. My card was removed from her account after unsubscribing the first time within the first month. So after almost two hours of trying to figure out how this happened with iTunes and making sure that we were absolutely unsubscribed I was told we were not eligible for a refund by the company of this app when we requested a refund, but iTunes gave a refund for two months said that’s all they were allowed to do... Pretty shady.

Amazing!. The most detailed and best horse riding app I’ve ever tried, I love how exact it can get! You can use this app for all levels of riding, say, you’re only taking lessons or you only lease a horse, it works so well! Of course, there are a few tweaks that need to be made, but it’s never going to be perfect. Personally, I think safety tracking and the Apple Watch version should be free. Safety tracking is very important, if you’re hurt and you cannot reach your phone to call, the person/people tracking will help you if they notice. I think it is a very good feature, but it should be free. The Apple Watch is so helpful, because you can wear it any time without having to put your phone in your pocket or in a pouch or something. But it’s not free to track from your watch either. It’s such a useful tool that could be used so much more if it was free. Other than these small things, I definitely recommend getting this app if you’re looking to see how far you’ve come or where you’re going with your riding experience. This app is great!

Nice app for tracking training and rides. So far I am enjoying the app. I like being able to just select the horse I am riding. Other parametric options would be nice. Min and max speed, elevation change. I haven't seen the jump option work at all. Had a jump funday and it next registered a jump. The other option that would be nice is to see a list of all your training in one list without choosing each individual horse. But so far it is a helpful app.

Too glitchy!. I really wanted to love this app. I gave it a solid go for a year. Mileage reported on this app was always off, even in areas with great signal, when compared to apps like Horse Riding, which I ran simultaneously for comparison (Horse Riding, by contrast, matches my AllTrails miles when conditioning for endurance.) The most frustrating thing of all though was how often this app just plain crashed on me during use, often without warning. I have an iPhone 14 and even with perfect cell signal and perfect weather, I still randomly encountered this problem. I’d love all of that ride’s data every time it crashed. There was no way I was paying for the premium version given how glitchy the free version: the rider alert system sounds great, but I’m not sure how that’s supposed to be reliable when the app is constantly crashing. Not for me. Needs a lot of improvement.

Girl YAS. I am being honest when I say I love this app! I love to be able to track my riding and it is soo easy. My whole barn uses this app and we all love it. I also enjoy being able to see my friends rides. I definitely recommend, it’s a game changer for every rider. Edit: As I continue using this app, I wish that there was a way for me to edit who gets to see my rides. So I could pick and choose who sees my rides out of my friends.

Have Shared How Much I Like This App w/Many....but. This is a great app that I have now used several times for in and out of arena rides of different purpose and it’s given me very useful info as I bring my horse and I back into fitness from a bad winter. Ever since the most recent update, however, it has stopped tracking much needed info like my heart rate (yes the app is on my Apple Watch which I always wear), length of stride, elevation of topography, and a few other measures it used to track. Plus, for the 1st time, it showed somewhere we didn’t ride (because it would have been physically impossible). So I’m concerned about the recent changes made. I have spoken to many pro and AA friends about this app and how helpful I’ve found it, but now, I’m going to wait for these things to get fixed. Please restore these tracking functions.

Great but it needs more options for western riders. I've been using this app for about a week and I really like it. I used to take notes after my lessons but I forgot. This app helped me remember to take notes that I can look back on in the future. The one thing that really stuck out to me was that there aren't a ton of things for western riders. The only westerb categories for training or discipline is "western riding." I wish there were other western options like reining, horsemanship, ranch, barrel racing, etc. I also noticed that the app doesn't count the amount of time that you lope correctly. That might be because my phone isn't a good spot (I put it in my boot) but I know it's incorrect. I do really like that it'll show you the path that you took when you're outside. This is cool if you're doing a patten or if you're doing something like reining or jumping. Again, the app is great, I just wish there were more options for western riders.

Useful app, needs improvement. Tracking, gaits, turns, and other data are great. Helps me organise my training. Fitbit integration would be REALLY useful though as I have to manually enter my ride as a workout even after tracking the ride in Equilab. Also, I cannot see notifications. I have the little dot that shows that there are notifications, but when I open the notification page it’s blank. This has always been the case since I started using the app a few years ago. It’s annoying to always have the notification alert, but not to be able to see the notifications. More ride types for western riders would be useful; at the moment I log pretty much everything as “flatwork” which isn’t that helpful. Great app, just needs revision and debugging!

Safety Tracking Doesn’t Work. I love the app and the GPS is spot on. I like the concept of a digital journal. That said the safety tracking feature doesn’t work at all!! I’m a Premium member. I have share on. The safety feature is active. I have 3 safety contacts that also have the app and are “friends” on the app. The text goes out. They get a link. They can not see my ride by the link or through the app until AFTER I hit finish. Kind of defeats the purpose!! I’ve been in contact with the help person from the apps website but he keeps reiterating the same sales crap with no fix for the problem. I see others have this same problem so I guess it’s not just me. I’m frustrated because I ride alone a lot. Please fix it or stop taking people’s money. People think they have a safety back up but they don’t!!

1 suggestion. I ❤️ this app, but i have a suggestion. PRIVATE MESSAGING!!!! It would be so handy! Say you were going to the tack shop with your best friend and you envied her to come on the barn chat, but then you feel bad for everyone else that saw the message that you didn’t invite!! It would be really helpful to have private messaging on a future update! Great app though!

Some bugs but I love!. Sometimes the app gets confused and says I rode in places that I didn’t, but I love it! It would be cool if you were able to see the ride itself and where you rode in a sped-up video just to look at maybe courses you did etc. Also, being able to put up photos of barns and/or a map with other barns near you would be cool in case you’re thinking about moving barns or suggesting it to others! Chatting with other riders at you barn to see if you could ask them to hack your horse or clean them or whatever would be cool too! I would also add some more things to “type of ride” like lessoning and height options if you’re jumping. Being able to create and save courses you did/ what courses the barn has would be cool too! You could share the courses you did with other members at your barn and more!!

Pretty good, but some features need improvement. I’ve been using the free version of this app for about 6 weeks. I have 2 horses and ride them every day (except on their days off of course). I love the GPS tracker and also that you can have multiple horses and disciplines to track. I do a lot of trail riding and fox hunting and like to see how far we went. My biggest issue with the app is that it doesn’t “remind” you if you forget to finish the ride when you get off, so quite frequently I’ve already untacked and been to the wash stall before I remember we aren’t riding anymore. I really wish it would recognize that there is no action and pop up a notification to ask “are you still riding?” Also, one thing I’ve noticed is that it really doesn’t always get the gaits right, for instance, I did 30 minutes of trot and canter sets on my Foxhunter yesterday and it says I walked for 20 minutes and only galloped for less than 2 minutes. I didn’t forget to end the ride, and I only walked for about 10 minutes total, so I know it wasn’t calculating walking while I was untacking. Finally, and others have mentioned this too, there aren’t enough options within the discipline. I’m a foxhunter and there’s no choice for that which is a pretty popular discipline and really what I downloaded it for. I want to upgrade to the paid version, but I would want some improvements first.

App is good; standalone feature isn’t. The app is really amazing on your phone but the standalone aspect to use with your watch is very disappointing. I upgraded to premium so I could use my watch without hauling around my phone only to discover that none of the features that make the app great work without your phone. For example, the watch alone isn’t able to detect gates or transitions. It only tracts time, distance, and speed I believe. I don’t think the safety features work without your phone either. I ended up downgrading back to the free version since I only upgraded so I could use it with my watch alone. I don’t see the point of offering the standalone component if it doesn’t actually give the ability to “standalone.” Overall, I really enjoy the phone app and if they are ever able to transfer all the features to the standalone aspect I would definitely upgrade again.

Best horse app ever!!!. I love Equilab! If you are a horse person you need this app! I’m a horse/people trainer and it’s so handy for me to track my training sessions! I use the watch app as well. It’s so handy for keeping track of my time training and being able to look back to see how a horse has progressed over time! I take notes, share photos, etc! It also allows my clients to check and see what I did with the horse each session. I can also stay in touch with my horse friends and see what they are doing with their horses! The safety tracking is also an awesome, handy feature! App keeps getting better! I don’t know if Equilab sponsors anyone but I would love to be part of their team if they do!

Love it! Would like Apple Watch app. This app is awesome!!! I love the concept and design! The only problem is that I would really like a Apple Watch app. For the time being, I have mainly used a separate horseback riding tracking app that has a Apple Watch app since it is much easier for me than having my phone in my pocket when riding. Unfortunately, the app that I have been using doesn’t have a great design. All in all, love the app, but would greatly appreciate an Apple Watch app!

Great App, But Need something more. This app is amazing. I am a saddleseat rider and it helps me manage the horses I ride / take care for in the barn. As a disorganized person this helps me see what feed is needed and take care and connect with the horse. My barn has many rescues and it helps a lot to see what horse is improving in stuff. But like I said. I ride Saddleseat and there is no option in the discipline. So I have to look and just see - and I want to see: SaddleSeat. I like things filled out. And I think it would help a lot for others. Also, I came across a glitch when you change your profile all your horses get deleted so I had to go back and add them again. Also I think there should be a few options where you can put the feed down without being limited to 3 Files as a free user. Since I’m the only one in my barn using this I need to use Horse Chat instead. But overall this app is amazing. Thank you

Highly Recommend. Great app! Works exactly like it says it does, and very simple to use, while at the same time having lots of detail. I love the ability to store documents for your horse on it. I do wish that there would be some more western disciplines to choose from (roping, barrel racing, ranch, reining), but it doesn’t affect the performance of the app, so it’s not a big deal. Safety tracking, and planning events ahead of time would be great things to be made free, but I can live without. Overall, a very good app for riders. Recommend it for all levels of riders!

I LOVE this app, but a couple suggestions:. This app is absolutely amazing, I’ve only used it a few times, but I’m awestruck by all of its features! It’s really helpful for seeing progress you’ve made, and I find it nice that I can look back at previous trainings and see what I put in notes for things to work on next time. Something I think could be added is a place in notes to add photos or videos from a lesson, so you can go back and watch clips from a previous trainings. It would help with comparing your ride to others in the past and seeing progress. Also, it would be helpful if we could enlarge the gait details even more to see minimum and maximum speeds, stride lengths, etc. I know there’s a chart on the app, but I sometimes find it confusing. Overall I’m amazed by this app and I’ve been recommending it to all my friends who ride, it’s so cool! Also I have a question - what does the “turns distribution” section mean?

Black Friday Scam. I have been using the free version of this app for a few months now and loved it. I was so excited when they advertised the premium version for 50% off. I jumped on it and ordered the 12 month subscription that should have been $40. Imagine my surprise when my card gets charged a few days later for $80. I emailed the developer and Adam essentially said there’s nothing they can do to correct the overcharge or make it right. So, if you want to use the premium app, expect to pay full price for it because whatever offer they post is a lie. It’s probably just a system glitch, but they can’t and won’t make it right.

It starts with the horse. I love this app because it’s all about my horse, and I love my horse. It has helped me more consciously approach our workouts and be very mindful of my horse’s routines. The app has always worked smoothly for me and any kinks were taken care of quickly by the team behind the app. I currently am not riding under a trainer and this app has helped me to stay focus on training goals with great purpose and organization. The stats and trends are great help and logging her routines in the calendar are easy and fun. I love the app because it’s all about my horse, and I love my horse.

Had to lower to 3 stars here’s why. The safety feature doesn’t work. It won’t notify contacts you are going for a ride. So not really safe if you fall and get hurt. I downloaded Humpty Dumpty for that fix. At least now I have peace of mind when I take my greenie out. Also no stand alone iwatch app. Is that coming soon. Once we get a stand-alone watch app with a good safety feature I will do another review and 5 star. But for now it’s only 3 stars for me. And I do love the app. Just needs some good improvements and updates.

Love this. Great app for keeping track of rides and training; I absolutely love that it can keep track of our horses gaits, especially the Tolt. It is a little bit hard to figure out some of the features but still happy. The only question I have is, does this app not support the family share that we have through Apple? My husband got this app, and it is signing him up for a subscription when we already purchased one.

Love this app, have one request. Love this for tracking my horses’ exercise, both over time by through the calendar overview, but also in detail to make sure each ride featured the right mix of w-t-c and an even distribution of R vs L direction. I do sometimes forget to turn it off, so I really wish there was a way to crop recorded rides after the fact, so it didn’t eternalize those rides including a 30 minute 60 mph stint on the freeway 😂. Strava has this feature so Equilab should too!

Best riding app. Everything it tracks seriously astounds me! Premium membership is definitely worth it, especially if you're in a high training program, want to track your rides, or ride out alone. I always assign my husband as an emergency when I go out and it lets him know my ride stats and when my ride finishes. Great to know if something went wrong I wouldn't be down and out! Keeps track of all the various appointments better than I can as well. Just a great product. 10/10!

100% awesome. This app is incredible, definitely worth downloading. It can run in the background during rides and doesn’t kill your battery. Extremely detailed stats, especially with the premium feature. Keeps everything organized, including ride history and your horses papers. 100% recommend!!

Amazing app but a few things should be updated.. I am a show jumper and I’ve been riding for over a year. I’ve been using this app for a few days and it’s been amazing! It has the correct times for how long I’ve been riding, keeps track of my barns horses, has a safety tracker, and has an accurate GPS. Some things that could be improved are the gaits. The gaits will show different times for how long I’ve been walking, trotting, or cantering when I’ve been doing it for much longer or shorter. I would also like the safety tracker to be free in case of an emergency. For example, if something happened to me and I got hurt and couldn’t reach my phone, people from the barn would be able to track me and help me. If I didn’t, who knows what could’ve happened! I hope these will be free soon for everyone! This is an amazing app and I would recommend this to anyone who rides horses!

Love it!! But there is a new bug?. I have been using this app for a good while now, and I love it! It’s great for when I’m riding different courses and want to see what I did! Only thing for me that has slightly ruined the app- is this weird new bug. It just started a few days ago and it occurs when I go to click on friends. It says *could not load posts right now* when I have internet and I know my friends have posted their rides. It’s not to bad for myself but I can’t see or share my rides with friends anymore. (This is occurring for my other friends aswell) hoping it gets fixed soon if you can figure out what’s going on with it! Thankyou equilab!

Annoying Bugs But They Fixed Them. This app has some bugs that need to be fixed. After a ride I try to review the data but the app fails and it goes back to my lock screen. A lot of stables aren’t on the map and I couldn’t find mine. That’s not really a problem for me but it could be for other people. The bugs are really annoying and you can’t see any of the data from your ride. That’s why I downloaded this app. Not just for fun. Please fix the bugs then maybe I’ll give the app a better rating. Update: They fixed the bugs. I complained and left a bad review. They responded almost immediately and fixed all the bugs. This is now my new favorite! Thanks to all the people that run Equilab.

This app is a scam & doesn’t work as advertised!. I tried to access premium features to test it out for a trial period to see if it was worth the annual subscription fee. No additional features were accessible for the trial period and I received no help from contacting support. Now I’ve been charged a subscription fee now and there is still no change in the app features. I’m trying to figure out how to get my money back because this is absolutely ridiculous. The idea of the app seems nice, but didn’t work for me and my facility. All it did was scam a small business out of $80. I am livid. Do not recommend this app! Yes, I emailed support on the 12th and again on the 19th to follow up. Your “support” offered no assistance nor did you cancel my free trial as requested. I was still charged! We have been dealing with historic consecutive ice storms in my area. I don’t have time to sit around and jump through hoops with your support team, I have a herd of horses to care for. You claim to make life simpler for equestrians but after reading through many of the reviews on here, I can see what you are actually good at is scamming people out of their money with an app that doesn’t work as advertised!

Glitch on Apple Watch. Whenever I open the app on my Apple Watch, it shows the icon of a cloud & an arrow. It typically means I have to log into the app in my phone & finish the entry which is fine. However, I don’t have any rides that haven’t been completely logged & it drives me nuts. Other than that, the app is good but it would be nice to see hear an audible notification after 5 minutes of no movement/activity as I don’t always look at my phone or watch after riding for a bit. Then it logs time where I’m untacking & includes it as part of the ride.

Very nice app. I’ve been using the free version of the app for probably a little over a year. I haven’t used the safety tracking feature as I often ride with other people but this is a great app to track your training and ride. You can use the map tracker afterwards to see how straight your lines are or how round your circles are and it’s fairly accurate. I kinda wish you could have different layers so it would be easier to see this but it still works. I kinda wish there was a feature to predict jumping, bucking, and rearing but I understand that something like that can depend more on your phone than the app. There honestly haven’t been any updates I dislike and I plan to continue to use the app

Best equestrian app. Would recommend this app to any one who rides and wants to keep track of their horses fitness or their daily activity. I am a senior in high school and do PE off of my campus meaning I have to keep track of hours that I am at the barn. This app keeps track of the riding portion which makes my life much easier. I also compete at upper levels in eventing and keeping track of my horses fitness has never been easier! Only drawback is for exclusive features you have to pay, however, the app still has all you need without premium (i don’t use premium)

It’s almost perfect. This is a great app and whoever is reading this should get it, but one thing that would make it better is if you could hook a smart watch or fitbit up to it because you can’t always keep your phone on you while riding. Whether it’s too hot to wear a jacket or you can’t find your sleeve to put your phone in, you just can’t sometimes, and if you could hook it up to a smart watch then it would make things much easier! Thank You for reading my review I really appreciate it. App developers please take my thoughts into consideration. - Ivy

Great App, but some bugs.. I’ve noticed whenever you add the name of the birth date it disappears before you try to exit and you have to do it again. I like it so far and it is helping me keep track of my horses, though. Also, would the app creators be willing to add hunter jumping and rides style games for disciplines please? As well as being able to put in multiple disciplines for horses that do multiple things?

Good but…. This app is great! It messes up sometimes but most of the time it’s good! You can add friends post rides it’s great! My problem is that everyday things uses premium. For horses that is a major problem. I switch a lot of horses because i am on a lease so this isn’t the best for that. So maybe like 3- 5 bring the max amount of horses without premium. Most of the premium stuff I understand it is the horses. There is more but I think that is reasonable enough! But don’t get me wrong it is a great app!

Cool app. I’ve been using the app for about 2 weeks now and so far I like it. It is a good tool to keep track of my horse’s training. There are some bugs that need to be worked out - for instance it seems to have trouble with the canter as it will sometimes say I only cantered for 2 minutes which I know is incorrect. I wish the Apple Watch app could record the gait data so that I don’t have to keep my phone in my pocket since sometimes I don’t have good pockets to put it in. Overall I’m enjoying the app and looking forward to future improvements.

Cuts off. I have loved this app so much that I got all of my friends to download it. I noticed recently that it stops my ride without me asking it to, even if I’m still riding. I thought I was doing something to cause it but it happened to all of my friends and I during the same ride. It seems to only be tracking us for about two hours before it randomly ends the ride. I’d give it 5 stars and upgrade to the paid version if it didn’t do this. I’d hate to pay for it and have the same issue. It really defeats the purpose.

Not Compatible With Watch. I enjoy this app and find that it works pretty well if I have my phone in my pocket. However if I am trying to track my ride from my watch I find that it only tracks the minutes I’m riding and it will not track my gaits or anything. This makes me incredibly bummed because I love to record my rides in my phone while in the arena and would love to have the app track our training details as well. I do have the Apple Watch 3 so I don’t know if it’s just not compatible or what is happening. Other than this I enjoy the app!!

Money grab. I love the tracking features of this app, but it really makes me angry that they have started blocking access to horses that are already registered in the free version. I currently have 3 horses that I could switch between and now it won’t let me track or access data for the 3rd horse without signing up for the premium version. That is such a sketch way to try to force people to pay money for your app. Just be upfront from the beginning that only a limited number of horses can be tracked with the free version. Don’t let people register and track multiple then suddenly restrict access behind a paywall. This honestly makes me much less likely to pay for you app. I may just delete and find another tracker.

An equestrians (other) best friend - Issues resolved by developer!. *update* After a few days of it not working, access to my timeline and detailed stats has returned- hoping it was just a glitch that has since been resolved. Overall the information provided is really amazing, super helpful to track training rides to ensure even work on both sides, etc. Love this app, it should be every equestrians (other) best friend 🐴. This app was amazing the first day I downloaded it; then afterwards I was no longer able to access any of my timeline/tempo/speed etc information. I even upgraded to the paid version to see if that would solve the issue but nothing... I guess it only works the first time to reel you in? Frustrating..

Used to be great. Too buggy to be useful any more. I do not know what they updated a couple of weeks ago, but I haven’t been able to get a successful tracking in almost a month. I’ve been using this app for over two years, and really had any issues at all. Now it constantly loses connection between my watch and phone, even when I’m only using the phone to start and end the tracking. Basically gathers almost no data anymore and is useless. I don’t even know why that would happen when I’m only using the phone but there you are. It’s broken. I hope they fix it, but I suspect they want me to pay for a full version before they’ll believe any complaint. No chance of that for sure.

Something to Consider.. This app is great... if you ride a certain kind of horse. I have been searching for an app that can keep track of my rides for awhile now, and I absolutely love it. But there's a big issue that I have with it. I ride a western pleasure horse. His gaits are not very exaggerated unless I ask him for something more extended. I guess the app can't tell the difference between his gaits or something because of it. I would be SO thrilled if you guys could make it so that it would pick up his gaits. I would just delete the app but everything else about it is so good that I can't bring myself to do so. So in conclusion, PLEASE make it so that it is more reliable. It would mean the world to me, and a lot of other riders as well. ~ Me

Driving. I do a fair amount of riding my own appendix horse, and driving a lot of different horses for CDE. So far, I’ve only used the app a handful of times with my Apple Watch, and I think I like it. I’ve used the app once for my own horse and twice for driving two different VSE (Very Small Equines). The app didn’t pick up trotting vs walking for the little guys, but I’m not entirely sure if that was because the route was in close quarters (as in, not over a long distance) or if because VSE paces are just too small for the app to pick up. I’ll keep using the app and if it’s easier to register the paces over a longer distance, I’ll update my review. My initial critiques so far: Since I work different sizes of horses for driving, I wish it were a little easier to toggle between the individual equines. Right now, I’m adding new horses based on competition size categories rather than name (eg, VSE single, Horse pair, Lrg pony single, etc). It would be nice if the Apple Watch interface had small squares or something to choose horses from before initiating a ride. I know it’s an extra step but, since I am usually called upon to drive different horses in a particular event, it’s easier for my own record keeping. So far I like this app and look forward to using it more!

Great start, could use some updates. I think the idea of the app and its technical use of riding data is great. It shows you exactly what you worked on, and with what horse. It’s like keeping a more technical riding journal which is important! I wish you could add multiple farms. I also think it would be awesome if when a ride is initiated the app also sent the data to the activity app on an Apple Watch. It would be great to record it as a workout. This app is the equine version of the slope app for skiers!

Help. Great app love it lets just get that out there, but one problem for me, when I post a ride out and I go to the main hub (comment section) I can only see my friends rides not my own. They show up on my calendar but not my main hub. Please help me here thx for this app tho it’s amazing.💓🥳😅👍

I used to love it, now it lets me down 😫. Have been using this app for a number of years. It’s always been great. Until now. Lately, my rides just vanish. They can be saved and I go back to look at them and then ‘boom’ gone. So frustrating. I’ll be using switching to another app.

Amazing and accurate!. This is the best app available for tracking your riding. It is incredibly accurate at detecting distance, gait, turns, incline and many other things. They are often adding new features as well so it just keeps getting better! Love it!

Awesome but. Premium is only accessible for people who pay, which I completely understand, but the tracking one if all people could use, it would be awesome.

Wish I got it years ago. I mainly do bush riding and with my husband away for work a lot, he worries that I might get lost or hurt on my rides out by myself. This way he can keep track of me and it makes me feel so much more confident going out and exploring new terrain, knowing that he can follow me.a very comforting idea

By far the most important horse riding app. I love being able to track my rides and training. It gives me things to look back on and I can clearly find patterns that cause good and bad training sessions.

Love it. Great app definitely recommend it Would like it if you could reset your trainings for the new year and stuff

Awesome. Awesome app, really good way of keeping track of horses schedule and training.

Really good. This is a really good app, but the one problem I found is with the calendar. I understand you have to make money but could you make it so you can plan 5 days ahead but any further you have to pay, because their is no point planning the past. Other than that the app is really helpful highly recommended

Love this App!. This app is simple to use, and great at tracking pace, gaits and distance. I love that I can add comments, photos, videos, tag a friend, note horse performance, ground conditions etc. The only reasons I haven’t rated 5 stars are: cannot upload multiple photos at once; the app hangs when saving my ride, and I often have to redo the ride details; I used to be able to open the app and start recording my ride from the main screen, now I have to click on “track” first then “start riding”, and this can be difficult once mounted and trying to deal with a jiggly horse, a tight pocket and sunglasses that make reading the screen difficult.

Amazing app. Only used once or twice but has proven. You do not need to turn data on or anything. I went on a trail and then did some arena work and it showed what arena work I did and also showed the back trails that basically don’t even exist in google maps. Overall amazing app and you don’t need to upgrade for it to be amazing. Great purchase and will be keeping forever!!

Equilab ride tracer. What a great app and it free I can wait to get home and see how far I’ve been and how long I trotted and cantered for love it

Apple Watch compatibility please. Can you add this for Apple Watch as I wear the watch riding and don’t tend to carry the phone unless I am out. At home I just tend to leave phone near by. Thanks

Disappointing Apple Watch functionality. This app is great if you want to carry your phone while riding. I have an Apple Watch and have been disappointed to find significantly reduced functionality on the watch. Often it refuses to start or stop the ride on my watch because it says I need to enable that in settings. I have enabled everything I can find to enable and it still won’t work properly. It also doesn’t record transitions or gaits unless you have your phone and not the watch. It also inconsistently tracks the ride on the watch. Basically all you get is a start and stop time if you’re lucky. Won’t be continuing the subscription as I can’t always ride carrying a phone and which makes this app poor value for money.

Great app. Good app so far, quite accurate. Would be great if you could add more detailed horse specific info such as farrier dates, vacc dates etc

Don’t leave home without it!. Equilab has been such a fabulous asset, it keeps you safe by tracking you, so you can easily find your way back to the ride start. It is also very valuable to record training and performance.

Love it. Love this app

Love using it. Shows everything about your ride so you can really plan what you need to work on

Great app, needs more cow horse options. This app is fantastic, very accurate and it helps me make sure all of my horses are getting consistent even amounts of work. Very useful for breaking in horses and clients love to see what their horse has been doing. I’d love to see a better variety in cow horse, stock horse, campdrafting, cutting, reining ect. options so I can track and compare my competition horses better.

Best App!.. I have 4 horses to work with this it’s so easy to see what I’ve done with who :-). I love how it picks up transitions as well as gait.

5 stars!!. This app is amazing not only just because of all of the helpful features because it is hard to find a perfect app for riders and this app is exactly that!

Love it!. Love this app I use it every ride and love being able to save my horses progress as well as using other features to keep a diary of what’s going on Can’t wait for it to be more user friendly from Apple watches. It would also be handy if you could add photos to calendar entries particularly for medical issues.

Good. It’s a very good and easy to use app. One thing I think could be an improvement is the fact that it asks for your stables, some people may ride at home sand therefore not be apart of a stable/club.👍good app

5 Stars. I love to track my rides and and track my progress this app is fantastic

Great App. Great app and would love to give 5 stars but would be even better is we could add someone to the safety tracking that doesn’t use the app.

Fantastic app!. Loving this app. Pretty accurate with the gait detection and it’s nice to see what sort of rides we’ve been doing. Have been sharing with all my riding friends.

Review. Still learning how to navigate around but love this ap. Early days but I forgot to start one ride and forgot to finish another. Would love to have the opportunity to go back and ‘end’ the ride when it actually did end.

More features needed. Would be good to add communication functionality between rider and coach at stable.

Love it!. One of the most useful Equestrian Apps on the market. I ride alone daily and my parents can track me as I ride. With previous severe head injuries it is important that someone knows where I am at all times.

Best app ever. Now that safety tracking is added I love this app even more. Thank you for being awesome developers and keeping the app working well.

Love it. Super helpful to track my rides- has been a lifesaver

Incredible. I have only used this once but great app. Be good to work out a way to incorporate lunging a horse without attaching your phone to your horse. But great for riding and look forward to using it daily!!!👌👍

App works well. The app itself is great, I’ve been the using free version of it for a long time now. But in the last 12 months the number of horses you’re allowed to have has diminished quickly. I was able to have unlimited horses when I first started using the app to track them and now it seems I’m only allowed 2 I’m scared to delete them because I will loose data and also don’t want to loose the ability to track multiple of my horses that I own and or work with. Very disappointing and will probably stop using the app because of this.

I’ve lost all my recorded rides!. I only have the free Equilab I got a young horse and wanted to keep a record of all her work since breaking in. I heard about the app about six months after I got her in work so late 2019. We had so much data recorded then bam it’s all gone . Now I only have the rides recorded since may 2022 . What’s happened ? How do I get it back. If I had know this would happen I would have recorded this data somewhere different . Please help! I did once love this app but right now I’m not happy at all.

Fantastic tracking/training app. Really love this app. Have just started using it for endurance training and riding through the bush. Before now I was using a topo map but this one is so much better. Highly recommended 🙂

Amazing but. Five stars, amazing app! I love being able record and compare my rides as it has helped me so much. The only thing I would say is that me and my friend were in a lesson and we both put our trackers on at the same time, did the same amount of all gaits and it had a drastic difference on how long we did each hair for ( e.g. 1: Trot 20mins, 2: 45mins

Great tracker not so great planner. I generally really like this app, the tracking and safety features are excellent and I love the analysis. What really annoys me as a premium customer is the lack of a custom repeat function in the calendar. I can’t preplan and schedule farrier, worming etc as there are only very limited options. Please add this in! It would be just about perfect then

Exceeded expectations. Simple to use, does everything I want. I love it

Great!. Find this a very useful tool for working our horses.

Helps me keep track. Love this App - easy to use and helps me track and measure each horses performance .... and my own :)

Great when working. Records my rides fine but when I go into the app to look at them nothing shows. Seems to be very temperamental. Have tried uninstalling, re downloading, wifi, data etc and seems to be app related.

Equilab. Audio stats very frustrating as they keep repeating without finishing the sentence. Sometimes takes up to 20 x to finish a sentence. Support had been slow. Otherwise safety tracking and posture coach work well.

Km/h. I have been using this app since June and noticed that from mid July the speed calculation isn’t working properly anymore. If you check Time and kilometres the app gives a wrong speed, too slow Could you check this please? Also a pause button would be awesome Thank you SamiaanandMissRed

Suggested feature. Absolutely love this app use it every time I ride! Would really love if there was some kind of calendar feature where you could plan out what you want to do in future rides or when you have shows or lessons! Thanks ☺️

It’s okay 👍. I reallY enjoy this app , I think it’s very useful ...sadly I wish we did not have to pay for the full thing , especially the safety tracker.I download the app as it was suggest to me for the safety tracker , as I go riding by myself lots ....Wish you guys could changes this , it’s an amazing app , I love it so much ..just do think it’s important ...I am not aloud to pay for this app , otherwise I would...I highly recommended it 💕💕💕💕💕

Unreliable. I had been using this app for almost a year as I trail ride out in the forestry on my own. I felt safe that my partner and best friend could track where I was riding and know where to find me in an emergency. You can’t count on this app, when I fell off my horse it just came up with an error ‘ride interrupted.’ The safety function of notifying your safety contacts if you’ve been still for 5 minutes doesn’t work and if you fall it seems to confuse the app and it just cancels your ride all together. My phone was undamaged luckily so I could call for help. My partner tried to use the app to find me but it is unreliable. Sometimes it gets quite confused and shows you have ridden in places you definately didn’t/can’t so it is not precise with locations or precise enough to rely on for finding where you actually are. In fact after my fall to my shock it just totally cleared my whole 3 hours of riding like it never happened due to the ride being supposedly ‘interrupted.’ Usually when you finish riding it will allow you to save your ride however due to falling it wouldn’t let me save the ride and it’s like it just clears the whole thing to try to cover up for the fact it is not useful at all as a safety device. If you are using it to track your gaits and kms for improving your riding I can see the benefit of it, but definitely don’t rely on this app for safety reasons. You are much better off getting an I-watch with fall detection, and use ‘find my I-phone’ so your safety contacts can see where you really are when out riding. I tried to contact support and sent an email to explain what happened to me so they could investigate further and hopefully improve the app and they didn’t even bother to respond.

How many horses for free?. I had two horses on this app for free. I have since sold one and deleted him and have tried to add another new boy and it is now asking me to pay! Not sure why I now need to pay for something that used to be free. Disappointed as I do like this app

Utterly useless. This was highly recommended to me when i got an apple watch in December. It freezes on the watch or doesn’t capture any data. For 2 weeks when you tty to start riding it is frozen on the watch. I uninstalled it and tried again today. Recorded 55 minute ride with zero data. Complete junk

Great App. Love the app. However, riding inside seems to mess up the accuracy of my ride. There’s a lot of walking happening when I’m definitely not walking and only small amounts of trot/canter. The mapping out of gaits is also super weird while riding inside. (Riding all over the property for example). Most likely caused by the satellite that is used, so I know it’s not the app itself.

Love this app. I love this app. It’s great to see where the transitions were made, speed, distance etc. I would like to see it a bit more sensitive to the jog, as I do more jogging then walking and it registers as a walk

Good app. I like the app and all the cool features, but I would rather you Don't have to pay. 😃🐴👍

Overall good. I would say that it does a generally good job at tracking the route of my rides. Like the gps part it pretty good. I’m not sure that it’s the most accurate when tracking gates. If I have it in my thigh pocket while riding it does a decent job both in like a hoodie or jacket pocket it’s not as accurate. I wish that they would somehow get more accurate reading for driving horses. Like when I go to choose my horses discipline I can choose driving but when I go to start a ride I don’t have any options for driving training. Also it doesn’t read nearly as accurate for gaits while driving. I always drive for about 30 mins and over half at trot but it reads about a minute of trot. Also, I’m driving draft show horses so it’s not like the strides are short or smooth, it’s pretty big accentuated movements and it still doesn’t read. I’m not sure if it’s just the way it’s been built to read the gaits for riding but I have it in the same pocket and have terrible gait readings.

Equilab. logs you out a lot. Like today I signed in and five minutes later it wanted me to sign in again.

great app!. I love this app for tracking my rides, especially to see how much of each gait we’ve done! i just wish you didn’t have to pay for the premium features! otherwise amazing app😊

Overall pretty good app. The design and concept are great, for a free app it sure gives you a lot of information. One of the main reasons for getting this app though was because it says it works with my Apple Watch (cellular+gps) but it doesn’t and that’s the biggest downfall. I hate riding with my phone on me and if I try to track my ride through the watch it acts more of a stop watch, no tracking what so ever. When speaking with the tech support they confirmed that it won’t work off the watch....not sure why they advertise that it does. Overall, fine app if you ride with your phone on you.

Amazing app. I got this app about a month ago and I love it. You don’t need to upgrade to premium for it to still work astonishingly. It tracks all my rides and I love to look back on our path on hacks and even arena rides. Definitely recommend

The tracking isn’t working. I really like this app but the tracking isn’t working and it’s very irritating because the hole point of it is to track your ride and show you where you went and it’s not doing that

Good. JETeventing was how I found out about it and its really great its just that sometimes it isnt accurate but its works about 90% of the time.

Resume Tracking. Love this app but wish you could resume the tracking. I accidentally closed the app during my ride and couldn’t resume

Best equestrian app!. I have 3 horses and I love to track my rides using this app. I also love being organized so everything about this app is AMAZING!!!??? Equilab I lovvvvvvvvvve you!

Love it! But... I love the app! Shows where you go, what gates, how long you’ve been gone, compares your rides with others and much more. My only problem is that all my trainings show as double per day. Which gives inaccurate results over the week (like i’ve ridding double the days&hours than i really have) if you can fix that it would definitely deserve 5 stars!!

Good idea, data isn't accurate though. I find that the data is somewhat accurate for one horse (even though some days it says we walked for 100% of the ride, which isn't true), but it's rarely accurate for the other horse. For example, I had a jumping lesson on my green mare last night and it says we cantered for about 1/15th of the time, which clearly isn't true. I like the idea and the effort, but this app isn't ready to be distributed.

Nice but ..... I like the app to track my riding in terms of number, length and type of sessions. The gait distribution is not great though and for that reason I wouldn’t pay for the app.

It WAS good. I used to love it, but in the last few weeks suddenly They have taken features off unless you pay. I wish I could at least still see how many km in each gate I ride. And used to be able to see the time line, and speed at stages, and average speed per gate.. kinda sucks to suddenly take features away

Really impressed!. I found out about this app from jeteventing and even with her video I was a little doubtful, but downloaded it anyways. I am amazed by how well developed and useful this app is! I’m so glad I downloaded it! There are a few little glitches and stuff but I’m so excited to see what this app develops into as time goes on!

I don’t take my phone riding. Ummmmmmm I’m wondering if there is anyway that I could set up that it just tracks me well I’m riding because I don’t have my phone well I ride if there is anything you can do about that would be great if not I’m going to have to delete this app

Great app but uses a lot of storage. I love this app! It totally changed the way I think about my training. I wish there was a way to store to iCloud storage to reduce the space taken up on my phone, otherwise 100% recommend!!

Awesome. This app is very good and easy to use

Meh. It’s a nice app but very inaccurate. It always says I walk for most of the time and trot/ canter for about 1 min. Which is the exact opposite

Good. It’s quite good al though it doesn’t pick up on all my horse strides it’s probably the placing of my phone tho I have it in my boot

Improvements to be made.... App is awesome use it all the time, would be nice if there was a “pause ride” option though. Sometimes I stop halfway through a ride for up to a hour and then it says my total ride was two hours long when really I rode for 1/2 hr, then stopped for 1hr, and then continued riding for 1/2hr after that. Also if there was a “top speed reached”(kmh or mph) to tell me how fast I was loping would be awesome too, otherwise awesome app! Love it :)

Works great!. I’ve not had any troubles that weren’t my own fault (ie: accidentally making two accounts) and it’s kind of fun to see your rides, transitions, etc. Also seems very accurate!

Tracker Anaccurate. Whenever I ride it tells me I canter for all the lesson and I do absolutely 0 walk and 0 trot which really bugs me because I love the idea of the app but the tracker just doesn’t work

Best ever. The very best for getting your horse fit and as a safety app if you hack alone.

Great idea !. Great idea! Great app, works well so far .. would like to save more specifics on the horse & rider .

Just joined. I just got the app and it seems really well put together and am excited to try but I don’t usually carry my phone while riding and I’m wondering where and how to carry my phone while riding to track my hacks and distance.

😊. Love it! It’s super easy to use!

Great tracker. I’ve been using this for multiple horses (and other things) for many years now. Still love it.

Works great. Seems to work well, pretty accurate.

Decent. Doesn’t track gaits accurately but distance seems to be good. Wish you could do mileage challenges with your friends like Endomondo.

Small problem. I really like the app but when I put small pony into information it changes to warmblood all the other things stay it’s only with small pony

Super helpful for Rehab!. I am a working student and typically am the one who rehabs all the horses. This app is so so helpful to make sure they get the exact amount of time needed in each gate to be healthy and sound!

Tracking Issues. The idea of the app is fantastic. However, the GPS has issues. It never tracks my rides correctly (shows me riding in places I definitely wasn’t [like through the wall of the arena] and records speed wrong). If tracking became more accurate it would be an incredible tool, but for now as it is it is pretty much useless. The only reason I have two stars instead of one is because it’s a great idea. Improvements need to be made for it to function properly.

No way to turn off non safety critical notifications. I am a safety contact for a rider who has a premium subscription on this app, and have zero intention of ever personally using the premium features. Yet I am constantly advertised to by this app, even after turning all but the safety tracking notifications off. This completely defeats the purpose if I have to disable all notifications in order to not be annoyed by constant advertisements. It seems this app is just trying to make money rather than actually trying to improve rider safety.

PLEASE ADD BARREL RACING. I really love this app and think that more equestrians should use it because it’s super helpful, but I would really appreciate it if barrel racing was added to the list of disciplines. I will definitely recommend it to my friends since it has helped me very much in my training.

Western riding. Awesome app. Easy to use. I wish there would be more western discipline to choose from. I would love of the safety tracking app was free. But neither are a big deal. I absolutely love everything else about the app. I love how it has different levels, and goals for the riders to achieve.

Fun app!!. I’ve had this app2 days now and it’s already helping me stay motivated and on track each ride! ( I have 2 horses currently in work) it’s nice to see just how much we’ve done and the map tracks really well!

Love the method!. This is a wonderful app to get if you are a fluid rider, especially one who rides solo often. The app provides loads of FREE training options, missions, and groups to choose from. It provides a wonderful summary of my ride and I use it every single time I hop on one of my horses. Totally recommend, haven’t payed a single drop of money and absolutely adore this app.

Great training tool!. Love this app so much! Fairly accurate gps tracking of the gaits. Would love for them to add a “groundwork/in hand” section to the training tab. Right now I just use the “other” tab but it doesn’t have the same features the training ones do so my trainer can’t actually see that is what I did that day.

Great for training. I love using this app! The safety tracking is great for when I need to ride alone. I love being able to see if I’m getting balanced workouts in. I do wish that “lesson” was an option as a training type.

Help. So I am trying to get in to ride but my email will not work. It has been messed up but I got into another app with it but this one will not let me in. Do u mind to help me. And it said contact u so idk if this was the right way to do it.

Love this app!. I don’t usually rate apps, but this one has earned its 5 stars. I have been using it for over a year now, every ride. I love the data it provides! Just when you think it can’t get any better, they added a handy calendar feature to keep track of horsey extras!

Its great! One thing tho. I think this app is great! There’s so many features that keep you on track. Only thing is that i don't like how there’s a few areas in the app that disappear after a few uses and switch over to the premium version. Other than this, if u ride alone or with friends, this is definitely the app for u.

Brooks reasonable post. I think track your ride is very responsible for you and your horse, but not only you not only your horse. It’s good for you and your horse because you’re a horse, and you can relate to exercising different ways and changing ways to ride.

Horse profiles just disappear. So I just got Equilab a week or so ago, I have 7 horses to manage so I thought this would be nice for me to manage them all in one app. Well; I take the time of setting all of their profiles up leave the app and come back to start training and poof, all of them are gone. It says a can train one of them but if I click it they’re all not even there, even the one it said was there. I emailed a few days ago and haven’t gotten anything back yet, I looked it up and couldn’t find anything on this.

Best App for Equestrians So Far. I love this app! I have the basic subscription and continue to discover features I didn’t know it had. My horse is young and somewhat green so the ability to track our progress and with different forms of training or hacking is fantastic. Can also record non riding activities. A must have app!

Apple Watch does not track. I love the app but really wish it tracked by Apple Watch. I don’t like having to carry my phone every time I ride. It’s one of the reasons I got the watch! When it’s cold it’s a little less of a problem. But if I get warm and take my jacket off, it only tracks half the ride since the phone was in the jacket. Bummer!

Gait tracking. App tracks ok, sometimes the GPS is off, but my issue is that it doesn’t track gaits well. Almost every time I feel like it gives me a very similar time when not every one of my rides is the same. Better than all the other apps I’ve tried though.

Love it!!!. This app is amazing. It tells you everything about your rides and it even logs them on a calendar for you. I highly recommend!!! It tells you how long you walk, trot, and canter and maps the places you rode and color codes your different gates throughout the ride.

Great. I use this app for all my horses and I think it is one of the good ones. My favorite part is that I can track how long we walk trot and canter and the speed we go at so overall best horse tracking app ever

Love the app, hate the instability. I’ve lost handfuls of lengthy recorded rides on this app thanks to its instability. If you accidentally close the app, the ride is gone. If you don’t save it after your ride right away, it’s gone. If it’s having a bad day, the ride is gone. Which is quite frustrating since it’s one of the few apps that will record four gaits including a gallop. I wish they’d beef this application up a little so you don’t lose hours of recorded valuable ride information.

Great for trainers with working students. This is a great app to be able to see what your working students are doing with their rides. The left to ride ratio is handy to see which riders or horses are easier/harder certain ways. I only wish it would pair with the Polar Heart Rate Monitors (they have Bluetooth) so that we could track HR as well. It would definitely keep this app more useful than the “competition” with their “sensors”.

So versatile!. I love this app for keeping track of my horses workouts. We do a lot of trail riding and it’s perfect for mapping out where we have been using the satellite map feature (also helps when you get lost)! Sometimes I forget to stop it after our ride but there is functionality to trim your ride time. I use that function a lot.

You need to pay for the calander. I just got this app and it basically needs you to have premium which you pay for to add entries into your calendar for future dates. I tried to add in that I had a show next month, but it said I needed to purchase premium to do so. I don’t want to be paying that much to to have a normal calandra. I just use the colander app because that is FREE. Otherwise it seems ok.

AMAZING-but needs a few other options.. I absolutely love this app and can not say enough great things about it. My only complaint would be that it would be cool to see how many calories you’re burning in your rides. A safety feature would be cool as well, similar to Smartpaks app, but the two work compatibly very well! So grateful for this app!

Great tool with helpful information. This is just our second trail ride; however having the distance speed time and elevation has been great to know as we train Just getting started using this app and loving it so far!

Subscription. So I signed up for the subscription that is suppose to notify an emergency contact. I just realized today, after months of riding with it, that it says something along the lines of “safety feature off” while I’m riding even though it’s set to on in the settings. This means I’m paying for a service that I’m NOT getting. Now I go to cancel my subscription and it says “cannot connect to store” even though I can look at, download, and change any other apps. The subscription is a scam, DONT SIGN UP

My Horse Ran Away in the app!. I added my horse to my profile. I then added it to my stable. I then changed my gender from other to female and my horse disappeared on my profile, however is still available as a shared horse in the stable. Other people can ride him but I cannot select him or edit him or even see him in my profile. Seems like a great app but I’m already annoyed and I just downloaded it 20 minutes ago.

Much more accurate now. Thank you for adding trail riding and also making the halt more accurately read. My workouts have been right on as far as what I do while I rehab my pony. Just mph needs to be added so you can clock your pace on trails or paces .

Great Riding App. I love this app. I have used it since March and it had helped me keep track of what days I did what, what horses I rode what days, and how long I rode. The only thing is after the app updated this last time, every time I want to choose more than one training categories I have to go and enable multiple categories every ride. That gets very annoying. Other than that, this app is very helpful, and I would definitely recommend it!

Pretty Solid. I love this app! I use it for building fitness for my 2 even tees and my grandmothers 2 horses. I would at least like this app to go back to how it used to be where premium has all the features it has now except the audio stats and unlimited horses. I think we should be able to add unlimited horses if we need to without being charged. But other than that I like it

Crashes on calendar. There’s a lot to love about this app and I want to give it 5 stars ... with some updates it could be. But today, it’s a 2. Here’s the good: -great mapping of ride and pace (shines here) -nice horse -centric “team” interface -love knowing right / left training balance so I can work on symmetry in training However on the calendar, it: -constantly crashes as I add or edit “other” Entries such as clinics and horse shows (-1 star) -crashes editing other entries (-1 star) -support is very hard to reach —nothing in app and in the App Store, requires a Zen desk login (- 1 star) Overall, love where the product is heading but feature, like calendar, should be QA’d before production. Extremely frustrating to buy this for your barn and show team and then have it not able to manage a multi user calendar environment. Hope to see it evolve and revisit this review.

Amazing!!!!!. This app is far more than what I expected and has made my rides 10x easier to record!!!! It also gives me a chance to see what my old barn buddies are up to on their ponies! Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this Horse App. This horse app allows you to add new horses when you ride a new horse. There are many different training options. You can also add as many different stables you ride at. You can also add friends on this app to see what horses they rode and what training they did. Also, this app has GPS and it tracks what transitions while you ride your horse.

Good but a bit disappointed. I like the over all idea of the app it’s great to track your horses progress and training but it’s not tracking when he trots or canters and that’s not helpful. I took my horse out for a ride and we trotted the majority of the time and it only labels the whole ride as walking I’m disappointed.

Super great but.... It’s an amazing app. I try and use it as much as possible! But as a barrel racer I can’t accurately track what I want to. I would love to see more western riding options like Barrel racing, pole bending, cow sorting, etc. I love to use this app though and has helped me a reach a next level. Jut wish it could have a western side to it. 😊

More than one horse. I used to be able to have 2 horses listed but now they want to charge you for premium for more than one. I just use the comment section. It’d also be nice if whatever I chose last like trail riding would be saved so I didn’t have to scroll every time. Besides that it’s a good app.

Pretty good. It’s pretty good I have used it once during a ride and it didn’t really track what I was doing it said I did one minute of canter but i probably did about 10 but tracking past rides is easy and really good

Love it but... Hey so I love the app and I use it a lot however I don’t like that you have to pay to have multiple horses, I take lessons and my trainer said to download this app and add her horse, when I did that however I couldn’t add my own horses anymore. I feel it would be nice if you have a few more free ones before making us pay because I can’t afford to pay for premium. I do like how everything else works though and overall it’s a good app.

Love it!. Love this app! I have two horses so tracking who I ride when and the data you get is fantastic. One suggestion: the ability to name a custom type of activity. I fox hunt, so being able to name my ride fox hunt would give me even better data (-: thank you! Great technology.

It’s been broken for way too long. Like others, I used to love this app, but it recently just stopped working. Like completely. I use it on an iPhone and I can no longer connect it to my watch at all. And when I start it on my phone it doesn’t track anything if I’m also using my pivo. It is essentially useless and I am extremely annoyed that I paid for a one year subscription for this.

AMAZING but:. I think this app is awesome I just think it’s not worth to have the subscription you at least should be able to use your Apple Watch Equilab app without a phone in your pocket you can keep the others without a subscription I just to use Equilab on my watch without my phone.

Good app. It’s a really good and easy to use app with a lot of cool features. I only wish they would have the safety tracking feature available without a premium membership. I completely understand having some features you have to pay for, but to have a feature that could potentially save lives locked behind a paywall? That just doesn’t sit right with me.

Bad app. This app is very helpful for people like myself. I’m not a huge fan of riding alone so it nice to know my mom can see I’m safe. And I also like being able to see my ride. To the point where I don’t like it. One, hunters isn’t an option. Two, my barn is a popular barn but isn’t even on the map. When I try to place my location to my barn on the app, it doesn’t show up. Now, I’m not hating on this app I use it often. I’m just saying if they want to better their selfs they need to fix some simple issues.

Best App Ever. I love this app so much. I started using it when I was rehabbing my horse and needed to know exact amounts of trot I was doing. Now I use it every day to monitor and set goals. The tracking feature is so fun in our big hay field and on trails!

First ride today, love it but needs more. I ride polo ponies, which means I usually pony a horse by my side as we have a large herd. I would love it if you could add a ponying option, or add more than one horse to a workout (as some friends of mine take 4 horses at a time) over all this is a fun app and I love it! Very handy to know how often my ponies are getting worked and who needs to go next!

Amazing!!. I love this app. It’s the best one I’ve tried and soooo easy! You can easily track, add multiple horses, add friends and stables and chat with friends! It keeps all your info in there and you can use safety tracking. I highly recommend and you should 100% get this if you are looking for an easy way to stay organized!!

Almost perfect. Love the way it tracks my dressage training- turns, stride, figures, place for notes, elevation, etc. I have 2 complaints- gait sensor is inaccurate- especially in the canter- which sensor records as trot. Also, this app does not work in indoor arenas. The metal seems to scramble the signal and the result after a ride looks like a toddler’s scribbles.

Disappointed in Apple Watch experience. I’ve really enjoyed the phone app and was excited to track rides on my new watch but was super disappointed to learn the Apple Watch app is not stand alone despite having cellular. What’s the point in offering a watch app if you still have to have your phone on you while riding?!

Apple Watch. It would be great to be able to edit the trainings. Sometimes I forget to turn off or end my training. Another thing ales would be great to review a training every minute. That way I could see my speed and heart rate by minute and not when I am riding.

Great app!. It’s pretty accurate, and easy to navigate. It has a lot of info I really enjoy reviewing, and it’s a good way to keep track of rides. My only complaint is that there isn’t a way to plan things ahead on the calendar, you can only add events in the past or that day. And I would also enjoy a better way to keep track of past rides I stead of scrolling through the friends page to find mine.
