Issue with Notifications. There is currently a big issue with the notifications from the app. If you click on one of the iOS notifications to read the details, it just opens the app and takes you to the home page. It does not take you to the notification details so you are left searching the site for the information you’re trying to find (which is a daunting task and next to impossible to do). So the notifications are virtually useless at this point. I’ve been a subscriber for about 6 months and this has been an issue since I joined so it seems a fix isn’t coming anytime soon.

MY Stock list dropped to it bucket on IPad Air. I added about 15 or 20 stocks to be my stock tracking list as a new potential client and I was working on this rather diligently for sometime across three different accounts that I manage at Vanguard only to find out that there was a problem with the memory of the app where it dropped every single thing that I added in there which took me 45 minutes to an hour to do. I was a little tweaked about that and would highly recommend anybody seriously consider using this iOS app to report it as I’m doing here. Very annoying and a very much of a waste of time

Great podcast on the markets and trading/investing strategies. I have listened to many of the investing and economic podcasts out there. Investors Business Daily’s podcast is by far my favorite. The host of the podcast is very well spoken and has a great voice. He is very pleasant to listen to, which is very rare in the genre. On top of that the show provides great information on the current state of the markets as well as IBDs investing strategies ie CANSLIM. They also provide many great trading ideas and insight to the specific stocks on their proprietary stock lists. All around great podcast and very informative for long-term investors, position and swing traders.

Another IBD app stuck in 2007. Where is the iPad version?. It’s as if the folks at Investor’s Business Daily can’t be bothered updating their apps. This one, Swing Trader, Leaderboard etc are phone versions only. They would likely look great filling the screen of an iPad … if anyone at IBD would be bothered to do it. If they can’t stay up with the times for this … it makes one wonder how little time and effort they are spending on the rest. Until they do … I will not consider subscribing. Note: MarketSmith is the only app that does look good on an iPad). Also… - alerts when tapped on do not take you to the article that generated the alert. Instead it throw me into the most recent video … which typically has nothing to do with the article. - IBD bombards you with advertising in their products, website etc … often for products you may already have. I get trying to advertise your other products … but hitting existing customers up with promos for products the customer already subscribes to is just inconsiderate, clumsy and short sighted… not to mention it gives off an air of incompetence.

Everything in one place. Everything I’m looking for the make money in the market. Together with leaderboard I’m all ahead in every pick on a consistent basis. Excellent system and analysis. The app works for iPhone just fine. I would not recommend it for iPad as it is not configured for it. No tilt feature and it doesn’t scale well just use the website instead. They do need to fix it.

Need an iPad version. I’ve been a subscriber to IBD for years. It is always been informative and up to date with information. I improperly charged my iPhone last night picked up my iPad installed the IBD app, and was totally disappointed that it doesn’t function properly on a tablet. The size is too small, and the expanded version locks up if the image doesn’t line up exactly in the frame. And of course because it’s not made for the iPad the image doesn’t rotate another frustration.

Look but don’t leap. Probably okay for a Bull Market.. You can make money by shorting the IBD “Strong Buys”. This is not a “go to” one stop source for financial information, especially the recommended picks. It has no grasp of political risk and ignores it. I do like the aggregate data presentation. This app is a source of what the herd is thinking or doing but mostly anything recommended should be viewed as a warning to stay away, a pump and dump. As such, it can be used as negative indicator that signals companies that should be scrutinized, not bought. The highest rated stocks are usually in “Pink sheets “! and are obscure, highly speculative and therefore should be avoided by the serious investor.

Love IBD, but disappointed with app. I read the book by Mr. O’Neil and I bought into the ideals. I immediately purchased the IBD and only had the newspaper version for my first few months. Then I decided to try the digital IBD because it may have things that I’m not getting in the paper. It seems to be exactly the opposite. The app is very poorly put together and has a cheap feel to it. As an investor, I want something that is going to give me every chance to succeed. I honestly think the generic app on my iPad called “Stocks” and the Yahoo! Finance app give me more than the IBD app. I don’t want it to be this way. I love IBD and that’s why I’m taking time to write this. I’m hoping that something can be done. A major restructuring of the entire app is needed in my opinion. I want it to have charts the way the newspaper has them and with the notes underneath. The current charts in the app look cheap and difficult to read. I want to see sharper charts showing the high, low, and the finishing mark. I want to see the app be easier to navigate and have more to it. After 5 minutes it seems I’ve seen everything the app has to offer. Thank you for reading. Brad (West Virginia)

Screen Rotation NOT Working. I Love IBD in general. Makes me a little crazy that the screen doesn’t rotate in many cases. I’ve checked to be sure its not locked enough that I know its not the problem and my other apps seem to work in this manner very well. I like to use IBD on my IPad and the magic key board only lets me use it in the landscape position. The problem does not always exist, but seemingly really bad when viewing charts. I’m hoping this problem get’s resolved soon! Other than that, IBD helps me make many if not most of my investing decisions and I appreciate all their hard work. As soon as I see that issue resolved , I’ll add the fifth star.

Best in the west. Been with IBD since 1988 my go to place along with market Smith / daily graph i’ve been with IBD and also work at Smith I have bought just about all the books and read them I find this the best of the best to get your information on stocks in the marketWhen there are new buys or stocks breaking out into new Highground this information and the fundamentals and a technicals I’ve learned so much specially with 30% fundamentals and 70% technicals how to do any job thank you so much you’ve been rich me and cost me to get richer thank you so mucha

Life changing. First time trader started a robinhood account with 3k. After losing 1/2 I found IBD & market smith. The CAN SLIM method of trading is bullet proof I have tried to go against it and failed horribly. I have changed the ways of other traders that have been trading longer than I have been alive. Also the charts save you hours by showing you pivot points and so on. Since purchase of IBD and their products I am up in passed 3 months 152%

Not sure yet just trying to decide if it any good. A free month with no strings would help tremendously in the decision making process. No credit card info just free for a month. Chaikin did that and I found that they were invaluable so I purchased a year long subscription with renewal for 5 yrs. you have got to let people try it. If your confidence in your product is that you are one of the best then why not prove it like Chaikin did. Not saying Chaikin is the best but they were confident enough to let me and everyone decide for free. They are 3 times the price but confidence in your own product goes a long way. If you would like to discuss further please contact me.

It’s awkward in display of information on my iPad. It came up with very small display, never know when the orientation click will appear. Even after it appeared, I have to watch the video first before reading the text. Need more testing and tuning on the application. I will be more than happy to help testing the Beta versions to provide more feedback. Mostly I use safari to read the news instead of the application.

IBD for Life. Best foundation for individual investors! Once you get it down, you can then add a few twists from other methodologies if you want, but this product works! You still need to learn it and continue to work at it through take it vantage of what it has to offer, but once you have it down, you can take it with you through life. I began working on it around 2005, and have gone in and out for different reasons over the years, but keep coming back to it.

Great source of information !!!. Prudent investing begins with knowledge gathering. Before you make a buy, provide yourself with all the knowledge & information you can gather. Be knowledgeable about the market sector your potential purchase is in. How is that sector performing ? Within that sector, where is your potential pick performing, leading the sector, middle of the pack, following the crowd, or trailing the field, with low expectations of any real success ! Finally, who’s driving ? Who’s making the decisions ? Do they have a track record of producing past winners ? Do they understand the market sector ? How long have they played in that market sector ? I feel that getting the answers to the above questions and giving a particular stock an honest evaluation will give you potentially the best and most profitable answer to the question, should I invest in this company ? Armed with the above answers, make your decision, and pull the trigger. As in everything in life, ask God for the answer, and he will show you the way !

#1newsfeed2go2forinvestors. I've read a lot of news papers in my life about the Market. I love learning new ways to invest in my own and give ideas about money to people who are unfortunate to know the information. I always suggest them this organization if they really want to learn and know what the market is doing. They are accurate, honest and non-judgmental on what they have written. I interned in the New York Stock Exchange (which was all luck but awesome) #never4get and a lot of the traders all said "If it's hard to read the #NYT or #WSJ (both I also read too) the this news paper is the way to go". Because I have a reading disability and can't read as fast as others I was suggested that Investors Business Daily was the one to read. Easy to understand especially for the subject of The Financial Market. Cool fact: The founders of this company both had in total $4,000 to invest. They took their chance and knew their risk. Lets just say this company is well over worth $4,000. Keep that in mind that even a little amount of money or investment can take you to a whole new other level. Suggestions for the app: As I go on this app everyday I have realized that on iPhones from the notifications this app should be a widget, like apple news. I believe that people would find it easy and reliable to wake up there iPhones and just automatically see whats going on on IBD. As said just a suggestion

How not to create an app. There is no doubt about the value of IBD as a publication, however, the app designers would have never made it to the IBD 1000 list. When opening the APP, it displays in a vertical format, no rotation. When you open it on an i-pad attached to a keyboard sleeve, it gets really awkward. When reviewing the IBD 50, again, same problem, but wait, when you go into the stock detail, the charts flip to horizontal. You can always recognize IBD users for their handiness in turning their device. Guess when you are a serious investor, you are a nerd, so embrace it. In addition, the app is unstable and does not respond regularly. Very frustrating when attempting a stock review using IBD. It also continues to ask for subscribing, only to then acknowledge ‘oh wait you have a subscription’. Last but not least, it’s the reverse ‘Hotel California’: “you can check out anytime you like, but can’t check back in”. (clearly latest hit by the sparrows).

Investors Business Daily. The most comprehensive list of Fundamental and Technical information available to individual investors. IBD’s CANSLIM methodology reduces risk and gleams out opportunistic stock ideas. The onus is on the shoulder’s of the individual investor to act in a rational manner, which will greatly increase the probability for significant gains with your portfolio. IBD provides nothing but a continuous stream of pertinent stock and general market information. Succinctly written market information from an objective point of view - So refreshing!

Timely news and great commentary. I’ve read IBD and used several of their services over the last 25+ years. They have a wealth of information for both the beginner and seasoned investors. No matter your investing style or instrument you like to invest in, you’ll find information and ideas to go on. They run special pricing on many of their services throughout the year so try one (or more of!) them out and see what you think!

New Upgrade is Excellent. I earn the exceptional returns in the stock market I have achieved because I follow Investor’s Business Daily. The new upgrade to the online app is not only even more functional, but it’s beautifully designed. The tools provided allow me to follow my portfolio closely and, when I have a little extra time, to Identify additional stocks that have moved into the buy zone with substantial trading volume. Those are stocks I want to research immediately to consider adding to my portfolio.

Disappointed. I've been a subscriber to IBD paper, and daily graph products since mid 80's, over 35 years. I have gone along with the digital format the past few years, because you no longer offer daily delivery. I have been frustrated and disappointed with the digital version since it's inception. It is combersome to navigate. The most annoying thing, however, is the constant, distracting pop-ups to sell you something, that cannot be shut off. IBD used to be a stimulating, useful tool. Althoigh I read the weekly paper version, I find the digital version too frustrating to deal with. I now get my market info elsewhere.

Would have been better to leave it alone. Content is excellent as always, but app is much more annoying to use than it was prior to most recent update. Constantly having to re-Sign In (even during an active session) and, more crucially, when trying to look at charts it frequently gives “loading” message, not just for one stock but most or all the ones I want to look at... sometimes never does load up. This is more conspicuous during what I assume to be high traffic hours: that is, soon after open or before close and on highly volatile days. This decreases its usefulness substantially since of course those are the times when I really want to look at the charts too. Looking through recent reviews I can see I’m not the only one experiencing this.

Why no Touch ID or easy access to more areas of the site?. I like this app but don’t understand why Touch ID isn’t available? The app logs me out automatically every few days and forces me to enter my email and password again. I care about security and like to use complex passwords managed by LastPass or Keychain. I can’t do that here so I had to dumb down my security just so I can access this app. Same goes for MarketSmith and SwingTrader. Almost every app supports Touch ID these days. Why can’t this one? I’d also like to have easier access to the various sections of the main site. Especially the section that describes current market conditions.

Needs more. I’m looking to find stocks that are also in the same group like they show on the website. No luck. Don’t you think a subscriber would like to have the same information that’s on the website? He might want to act on that information but alas, no can do. Come on ibd, step up your game. This app needs to be more robust.

Great Application!. I have really enjoyed IBD over the years and the digital app is great. My only suggestion is that they make “The Big Picture” an actual menu option. I have not found a way to quickly find it in the list of news items and it is the place I like like to start each morning. Easy to find on the web, not so much in the app.

Tired of SPAM and Stories that do not link. I subscribe to digital IBD and MarketSmith. I’m really getting tired of all the push notifications that digital IBD sends me and there’s no way to turn those off. I don’t wanna hear about savings promotions for annual subscriptions and I don’t wanna hear about their new Options Trader App anymore. I just want actionable news and relevant information and nothing else. Second, why do they send push notifications of stories that then when tapped on don't link directly to the story? instead it goes to the homepage leaving you no clue where to read about the story.

Ok but important features are too hard to find. For me, the big picture is an important feature of IBD and that is very hard to access from the app for some reason. The markets page has an arrow at the top but you can’t access the write up from that or the market pulse. If you want to find that information you have to go searching through pages of the newsfeed to find it. For me, I just bookmark a link and go to a web browser instead but it seems like a poor design feature of the app that it’s so hard to find.

Ibd live. This is by far the most valuable resource of all the products Ibd produces. The talent of the team is exceptional and watching the execution completely changes your perception of how to master the market. Since it’s inception I have never missed a program and after hours I replay the session because the information is so valuable . The talent of the presenters is on point with no egos getting in the way. It also takes marketsmith and swing trading to a whole new level of personal performance. Well done IBD!!!

Great app; some data missing lately. First off, fantastic app and stock data! But there really needs to be an iPad version for paid subscribers to the site. I know, the site (blog) would lose the “clicks” to attract advertisers. Which brings me to my second point….paid subscribers are paying for the service not ads. Some data has recently been missing. The number of IBD list a stock is on. This really helps and its been taken away?? William O’Neil mentioned this in one of the first editions of his book. If a stock is on a few of the IBD list the better the stock may be. An iPad version please!! And bring the list count back, Please!!!

Excellent source of information. Excellent source of information and reliable guide to the market direction. Good source for stocks. Unfortunately the app needs constant refreshing in order to get up to date information including current stock prices. Also difficult to find the Big Picture everyday.

Expanded Chart needs ticker list. I use an iOS iPad. The big flaw in the charting program is the lack of a ticker symbol list on the expanded horizontal chart. If you want to look at stocks you’re forced to constantly switch back-and-forth between the smaller portrait chart style chart and the expanded horizontal style chart. It’s time consuming and makes the charting function almost unusable. You waste a lot of time. It’s easy to fix. Place a ticker list in both places. It will be interesting to see how long it takes IBD to fix the problem.

Smart, Safe Investing. The stock market is one of the best ways to create Financial Independence. Wealth if you will. ...but if you turn your back and fail to watch the market it can be very cruel. I paid dearly for that lessons years ago trading on my own. IBD takes away the worry and endless work. When I buy when IBD buys and sell when they sell, all is well. 2020 results are a perfect testament to the brilliance of their founder Willian J. O'Neil's work. Several of the stocks and funds that I bought in 2020 are up over 100%. Most of the rest are over 40%. Not that I did not buy some losers but IBD helped me to take the lose and move on. Which is the hardest investment move to make. I pay for every service that IBD offers. One smart trade a year and I paid for everything in a couple of hours.

No iPad Ver.! No Nav. Menus! Constant Ads!. App is good, but not great! Don’t get me wrong, IBD’s content is second to non. But the presentation of that content leaves much to be desired. The much needed iPad version is no where to be found? Which is a real shame given the potential of displaying charts on a larger iPad display. There is a real lack of coherent menus that could used to navigate IBD’s numerous content sections. For example, there is no way to navigate or find “The Big Picture” link? One must read through different articles and basically stumble upon it? Finally, IBD app is only for paying customers so why is the user getting bombarded with constant advertisement? This alone makes for a very poor user experience, especially on small iPhone screens.

Charts Stopped Working. I’ve used this app for at least 6 mo. It’s been very helpful and useful. But in the past week or so, the stock charts just stopped coming up on my iPhone 11Pro. It says “retrieving data” but the charts never come in. I tried clearing my web history. Signing out and signing back in. Turning my phone off and then back on. Nothing has worked. Everything was fine for the last 6 mo. Then in the past week they just stopped working. I guess I’ll try reinstalling the app. But it shouldn’t be this difficult.

IPad compatibly. Great app. I love how accurate and insightful the notifications are. The only feedback that I have for this amazing app is that it needs to be compatible with the iPads larger screen. Both size wise and portrait mode as well. Thanks again for developing such a great app. I never leave feedback for apps that I dislike and never use again but this one is worth having and would love to see these features implemented in the future.

Great material. I have subscribed to IBD for close to 30 years and the information is outstanding. I feel like with the app it is hard to find things like the big stock market charts of the Dow, Nasdaq and S&P. I have even been going to the website and logging in to find things I cant find on the app. The app still needs a little improvement. I plan to stay with IBD !!

Outdated. App lacks a lot of functionality that is needed. Even the most basic, of getting the "big picture " which provides a rating on the market , you can't get the daily article in the app, instead you have to read "stock market today" and hunt for a link to the big picture that is sometimes there and sometimes not which links to website. Same with IBD stock of day , it's in the website but can't find it in app. The app is quirky , limited and it's pretty bad how it interacts with the website I love the IBD , great content and get the paper delivered , but the actual app is terrible

A Must for Individual Investors. IBD has always provided relevant, objective stock information for individual investors. The IBD stock analysis is essential daily reading. The app provides the information in a concise, easily accessible manner. The daily video with stock analysis is a key important feature, as well as “the big picture.” It is easy to create stock lists but even more important are the key ratings for each stock in your list such as relative strength and acc/dec indicator. These are generally not available with other subscriptions. Important news articles and stock analyses are also readily available. I would like to be able to visualize the entire contents of The Big Picture on the first page when selecting the information icon. There are also issues sometimes with refreshing the data, at least on the iPhone. However, overall it’s a great app and provides the top notch information that subscribers expect to receive with an IBD subscription.

Good but needs work.. One of the frustrations I have with the app, besides for all the ads and glitches when scrolling through stories, is the inability of notifications to take me to the story in the app. Every time I get a notification on a story that perks my interest, the app opens up and simply takes me to the main page of the app. If, say, I had the app purposefully opened prior to clicking on the notification (knowing this issue) then it takes me to the story. Please fix this issue. Once you fix this, I have a couple of more you guys can work on.

Aggravating, insulting and needs fixing. So on a Mac iPad, or iPhone when you activate the app you see the headline. “Stocks go up but trouble looms” You think you would like to know that story a little better. So you touch the screen and to that story you go. Then you are immediately redirected to a podcast with two talking heads but the podcast does not ply in landscape position, only upright. Not so fast, now you are redirected again to a SPYDRS commercial of 15 seconds after which the previous podcast resumes its horrendous banter. You can only shut the app down to eliminate the commercial and start the entire process again. For a service to force you to listen to worthless banter and commercials after you shelled out your hard earned dollars is just plain silly. The information, when you can get through the entire SPYDR schmeel then resize the podcast and stop it, takes about a minute but this is silly. I paid for a year to save a big percentage off the monthly price. I have chatted and communicated via e-mail and telephone with customer service individuals who had no idea how or why to fix this infernal cycle. Perhaps a noticeable decrease in subscriptions may catch some higher up’s attention, perhaps not. Be warned, for us Mac users this app is a hemorrhoid.

A return user for IBD. I learned a lot from IBD, left and went on my own. I wanted new ideas for a potential market boom and came back. I was disappointed with a trade I made based on information and did not finish with the trial offer, but have returned and will join again soon. I have made good trades from their information , good results well beyond the cost. I see it has made some very good changes and opened up information for long term investing. I apologize to IBD some of the notes I wrote. Satisfied customer:) Return User 20

I can now use IBD app effectively alone. This latest update allows me to finally utilize IBD resources, the way I desire to use them, more efficiently and effectively without having to rely on my paper edition, which often arrives later than I desire anyway. The callouts of recent chart actions were not there previously. Those callouts help me to more quickly spot the stocks I want to focus my efforts on, and the other info is right there instantly. I’m quite pleased with these changes! Please note that I still want my paper edition, though! And it would be nice to be able to swipe to next chart in list rather than going back to list each time, but to me that’d just be an added convenience.

Poor webPresentation. I disagree with many of the positive reviews here. I signed up for a premium subscription. I also agreed to a 2 week trial of the leaderboard. I downloaded the app and started reviewing the app. Right off an ad popped up. I was thinking by paying to use the site, no ads would appear. I could not cancel the ad without exiting the app and restarting. Also, the detail of stocks is limited. There are dozens of free apps that provided a whole lot more information on stocks than this app. The leader board I agreed to pay around $50 per month after the 2 week trial, provided a list of stocks IBD thinks will breakout or are buys. Guess what... the other apps I have been using listed the very same stocks without paying a subscription. When I did see a couple stocks recommended that I had not seen on any other list, I had to go to another app to read the summary of the stock, look for volume traded per day etc.... even the screener I found here isn’t as good as what my trading account provides for free. I’m disappointed. I thought one or two recommendations for trades here may pay for this program. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable making a trade recommended from here when they can’t even present a decent web page to research why they recommend a stock.

Review. IBD App is excellent. Bring current stories, news and articles to the front banner build upon it to keep people’s interest to come back to IBD as a reliable source of daily business news relevant to IBD. I know IBD is right slanted publication like wsj. I recommend that you should completely drop any political preference and become politically agnostic with no bias to bring in business news, un-varnished analyses and data, knowing that your readership is 1/2 right and 1/2 left and it is not your job to please one or the other. IBD’s strength is data and analyses. IBD has great potential to expand as an agnostic publication to attract the younger investors - note, some thing like >50% of investors are less than 40 years of age. What is IBD age demographics? I bet there are a lot more of old people. My suggestions above are to improve IBD and expand its subscription base with a target of constantly decreasing the avg age of subscribers. Going digital and in the middle of a pandemic, IBD has an opportunity to improve and expand and attract age group from 20s to 40s who will be your customers for many decades. Raghu Raghavan

Incredible Value. Very intuitive design with enormous amounts of excellent information at your fingertips. It’s an excellent tool on a standalone basis but integrates flawlessly with other IBD premium tools (MarketSmith & Leaderboard). IBD, in general, is simply the best when it comes to education, information & actionable tools for the everyday investor. I would never tell you it’s the least expensive, but if you’re serious about making consistent money in the markets you have to treat it like a business. To that end, IBD essentially offers institutional level R&D (research stocks & funds; develop trading plan & style) for a relatively modest expense. If used properly, your ROI should vastly exceed your IBD expense, every year.

The Mystique Breaker. CAN SLIM provides a sound, logical process for the selection of stocks and a plan of action for buying and selling. It explains the value of understanding the basis of market trends and stages clearly and concisely. It will require your commitment to study and intellectually integrate the steps, but it is not difficult; it just takes time when starting out. Your profitability will increase with your commitment to the learning of and adherence to the sound investment rules and process provided. Anyone can learn the process; just start, learn, and enjoy your journey.

IBD. I have been using IBD I'm its various formats for over 30 years and found it consistently delivers terrific value for my investing needs. I found that there is so much data and news offered that it is advisable to develop one's own system for ease of use. I have always been a relative strength advocate and constructed a program that tracks group rotation simply and selects stocks in a model compatible with the industry algorithm.

Carllouch. I just started using the digital I use to get the print but I live way out in the country and sometimes the mail just doesn’t get here. I wish the had a tutorial, I zoomed the tutorial but the went over so much material I basically got lost. I gave it a 3 for not being like there print. And for newbie a forum where we can ask stupid question like what again are the red blue an black lines for I know they are moving averages but which ones are which

Review. Overall the app is pretty good and bug free. Only thing really annoying about it is that periodically when I don’t use the app for a while and try to use it again, I cannot see the full list of any of the designated lists under “My Stock Lists” until I “re-log” back in, even though before I “re-log” in, I check under “More” to confirm that i am logged in and it says “Sign Out” which means I that am already logged in! But I still can’t see the full list until I log back in. Please fix this issue because it is very cumbersome to have to log in like that every time, especially since Touch ID hasn’t been designed yet for this app! When is Touch ID coming on this app or the MarketSmith app?

Add a Comment Section. Good (not Great) App. Lots of information available but with it comes shoddy Editors. So many mistakes and, worst of all, MATH errors make it into almost every article. They need to add a Comments section so we can correct their errors or ask for clarification. Also, add a Link to The Big Picture; as it is now, you have to find an article that mentions it in order to get to the full Big Picture! Also, they repeat the same article, over and over, all day long with supposed Updates tucked somewhere within the Article. Append the Updates to the original Article would be more convenient for your subscribers.

Real News!!!. Finally something that tells the truth, a great honest opinion unlike CNN or FOX. #MAGA

Great coverage from IBD. Realty see value in this app

Pria$$$. Practical info.

Awesome app!. Keeps on getting nice upgrades!

Watch lists don’t work properly. Very frustrating to use. The add to watchlist button has completely stopped working, and even when it did, it didn’t show you if the stock was already on a watchlist. Also, the articles are not sorted so it is very difficult to find the specific one you are looking for. I wish they could be sorted.

Latest update keeps app frozen. Can't go to any tab

IBD. Great way to find solid market info and great buying opportunities

Great app. Love this app. I use it to do my research while reading IBD.

Good but expensive to get all content. Good but expensive to get all content. I understand the need to make money for the service, but giving only partial access to articles is very annoying. Either give access or don’t

Chart doesn’t show up. Chart is often stuck at retrieving data... very annoying

One of the Data and Research Site I Have Used.. Great!

Fantastic App. A comprehensive service that will add value to any trader or investor by saving time and providing vital information on the market, the economy and the stock.

High Quality. The app is great...most of all the extremely high quality of content, screens powered by IBD is world class!! My book appreciates it

Owner John Morash portfolio. Update need portfolio name

Picking stock. Best place to pick stock All research done. Trust IBD.

Very hard to navigate. This is the worst app to have, Yahoo finance the free app is far better, paid subscription for nothing

IBD app. Very accurate technical indicators website

Trials. Make your trials longer. Give a person 60 days to assess your products. Experienced traders don’t need to know where to put their buys stops or profit targets. However, they need ideas. They need trading candidates. You can provide trading candidates, stocks that are ready to break out. We traders need that. Designing the screens in my spare time is not profitable. It’s not profitable. Subscribing to breakout candidates through you may be. I know a good thing when I see it. It’s just time consuming finding them and aligning them. Make your trials longer.

Aaa. Good

Amazing. Having so much info on a wide range of company’s from leader and losers at your fingertips allows you to decide if you want to dig up more info on a company that you wish to invest in. Ron

Works for me. I have no complaints. The info I have here is exactly what I was looking for.

Abdul Molla. IBD,s Stocks Screening very Healthy, I always keep my eyes on it before buy any stocks, very helpful Thank you for providing us your expertise

Good app.. Needs to be also optimized for iPad Content is excellent.

Best for every trader. No need to spend hours on fundamental research. Best stocks right in front of you.

Notification. Opening a notification open up in safari browser instead app itself

IBD app is an excellent tool. Very cool and directly point to pick the cherries! Good job!

The Big Picture Missing in app?. How come you cannot see the big picture column on the app? Such a simple function to have on. It is frustrating to go out of the app to see that. I hope this can be added.

Great app!. Lots of useful actionable information.

Annoying. Having to watch a commercial with every new page opened is annoying. I will just stick to the paper for now.

Best stock app. I watch everyday

B Joseph. Awesome!! Very informative so far!!! Thx!😎

Evens the Stock Market Field. What an incredible resource. I use this a lot. I especially appreciate the comments on the charts.

Chart features. This is an excellent app, However, I would like to have the ability to set my own moving averages and see some basic pattern recognition as well. I would also like to see a version that is more geared to the iPad.

Love it. Amazing platform, good software, screener, useful research articles & fun loving knowledgeable people who participate in the markets. It’s a great value.

Haircut. Best news service

Credible and fact based analysis. Credible and fact based analysis

Just dl it a few days ago and still trying it.. Still trying the app but so far so good.

Long time due update finally here!. Excellent companion if you have a IBD subscription 🤗

Best. Best

Valuable. Would love screener functionality enhanced in the app - and in general (moving average filters, technical patterns and indicators) but the lists and curated data are extremely powerful and valuable as is.

EagleWiz. Love it

Jose súper InvestorLine. Excelente

Total crap. From a person in the biz for 20 plus year this site is terrible. From signing up and knowing what your getting to navigating the site it’s 0/10. Can’t wait to cancel

Annoying ads, needs iPad redesign. Though the basic content is good, the title says it all. Currently in the 2-month trial period, not convinced I’ll stay the course. Trial period too short, relative to time needed to formulate ideas, create a watch list, make purchases and then track performance to (hopefully) optimal conclusion. Lastly, the approach favours active trading over buy&hold or long term approaches. I wonder which is more tax-efficient in the long run.

Great app. Excellent

Can’t log in. My login credentials works on the website but can’t log into the app

Disappointed in IBD digital cash grab. I can’t use IBD digital on my phone app unless I pay additional $46 a month. Makes sense for IBD but not for me. I’ll be cancelling my subscription.

IBD App is the easiest app to use. I have found the IBD app to be super easy to navigate and receive up to date information on the markets.

Needs an total redesign for the iPad. This app is only for a phone. It would be opportune to redesign it for the iPad.

Great. The app is great, informations are clear and useful, I listened to them and I am in profit now. I only wish the charts weren't half size

Best investing app. I’m still using it

Screen tilt. The app does not adjust to the rotation of the screen

Kolool. Awsome

Just the best. Excellent advise. The 50 stock watch list is an excellent resource to decide on good investment opportunities. IBD offers excellent up to date information to make the best decisions on buying stock. The market direction tool lets you know whether the market is in an uptrend or downtrend. IBD gives you a list of the best IPO’s and other services. Daily briefings on particular stocks. This is an excellent app.

Awesome Analytics. IBD provides the most comprehensive data and analytical tools for the retail stock investor. They walk the fine line of being both educational to new users, while satisfying the needs of more experienced traders by offering an array of investment strategy tools. Their graphs and scorecards summarize historic data in easy to read formats that accelerates my investment research and trading decision making.

Great resource for stock investment. I wish the app was easier to use. It’s hard to find some of the articles. I look forward to what the future has in store for my investment knowledge and for the improvements made to the app. Thanks to those who work to make it the best investment app on the market. Respect 🙏🏿

Logging in isn’t so obvious. And if you switch between app and computer you have to keep logging on. Plus when you navigate around the website you often have to log on again. It would be nice to read the Big Picture on the App

Everything we need to know is within IBD. I have been knowing about IBD and it’s products, they are very best! The only word I can use is “perfect”. It has everything retail investors need in making decisions about investing and trading! Recommend every new investors and traders to know and start with IBD

Phenomenal Application = must buy. I can’t say enough about how unbelievably helpful/insightful this is while still being simplistic enough to apply the knowledge towards your trades. Thank you for the free trial because due to losing my job and money being tight; I wouldn’t have been able to afford this. Y’all are truly helping me get back on my feet I appreciate it.

Just ok. Content is good but you can’t view the app rotated. It constantly logs you out even if you tell it to stay logged in. As a subscriber, there shouldn’t be so many pop ups. The app also consistently runs into issues loading stock charts when viewing watch lists. I don’t typically post bad reviews, but I received this pop up so many times I’m hoping that this review will make it go away.

Good Start But Way Behind the Competition. The advertisements are way too invasive and hard to get out of. The “Big Picture,” should be the top article in the app. Too often a feature does not work, like my lists. It would be great if you could select what you get alerts for, I don’t care much about news alerts. I would rather get notified when the market status changes. How about having the market action on a list instead of the scroll bar, it is too slow and only on the landing page.

Love the app for news and updates. IBD has gone a good job in my opinion with up to date stock news and information via its iPhone and iPad app. Easy to stay up to date without a computer when traveling or catching up on the weekend on my couch. I especially like the news updates ordered by most recent and the stock lists.

Treasure trove of information. As a novice investor, I have read several books on different types / styles of investing in the stock market. I was really impressed with ‘ How To Make Money in The stock market ‘ by Mr. O’Neil. I realize that there is a wealth of valuable information on IBD and the other investing tools that it offers. However, for a beginner investor, the monthly subscriptions are a little pricey.

More efficient than the website, still clunky. Charts don't render great, they look chopped off. No swiping within stock lists; go back, click next symbol, wait.. Tc2000 still one of the best platforms I've used & why I continue to subscribe.. If ibd allowed api connectivity to bring their rankings in, you'd have a very powerful screening, charting & alerting platform

Too many adds and slow mobile search for symbols. Content is good when you get it but for paid service way too many ads and solicitation of upgrades to product. Also Search can be frustrating as many symbols take forever to pop up on search

Good content & Easy to use. Pretty good content and easy to use. Best feature I like is the ability to see related stocks in an article together and even being able to swipe through their charts makes it pretty easy. I’m not a subscriber, I have few other subscriptions. But the content and stocks mentioned are really good ones, mostly market leading stocks not hit/miss stocks under 10 bucks.

Too many ads and pop ups. It's still a useful app, but currently marred by constant ads urging me to subscribe to an app I already subscribe to, or interrupting my research with a pop up that asks me to rate the app (which I'm doing now in hopes that they leave me alone afterwards). Even when I turned off notifications, I still receive the ads. I should not be bombarded by ads and solicitations by a service I already pay for. I'll cancel soon if they don't stop pestering me.

Great Edge Tool.. Learning a lot as I go along the journey of trading. I like this resource along with market smith and leaderboard. Every time I open The Application I learn something new and have become more comfortable with looking at certain activities on the chart. Still have ways to go but I’m certain I made the right choice to subscribe and make IBD my coach

No audio on iPad. The audio does not work while watching the embedded videos...the speaker icon is missing from the video screen. Had the same issue with my iPhone but was fixed by a hard rest... unfortunately did not work with the ipad.

Stock Research. Very informative research and stock market analysts. Have enjoyed IBD for decades when I would get the cassette tape’s and listen to the instructors lessons. Also enjoyed your IBD daily paper which now days has become a weekly paper. Still do not care for the way you list stocks. Alphabetically wasn’t broken so it didn’t need fixing. Rather expensive now . Still enjoy your material.

Self investor. I always study your views, your advices and market news. It is vry much informative for all level of investors. Investment for stocks, Mutual Funds, ETF, or Options, all fields are covered by you. You also offer educations, like Leaderboard and so many. Your Investor Bussiness Daily is helping all type of investers. Like fresh as well as matured investers. Wish you all the best IBD.

Needs a “Back” Button. Investor’s Business Daily is a top notch publication. The information is unbiased, yet it still delivers a few “here’s what you should consider” comments. It is almost flawless. A “back” button is needed in the internal browser. I’m not sure if it’s me, but unintentionally click links in an article within the app and then there is no way back to the original article. It’s usually off of a notification and it takes more time than I am willing to use to figure where to find it. Other than that, get the app, learn the CAN SLIM system, and make some money! Add a back button, receive 5 stars.

Pain in the app. Although I really enjoy the content; the app is incredibly user unfriendly.....it freezes when the device is rotated, the highlighted text is everywhere so that when you’re scrolling down, you’re as likely as not to be taken to another page. Love IBD print and internet editions, but the IBD app needs a lot of work.

Terrible on IPad.. A decade after the platform was launched, there’s still no iPad app to make use of the extra real estate. Not what you’d expect from a stellar institution. As an example, if you maximize charts, it flips to the side automatically, making it impossible to read. Just plain awful and an embarrassment. This is zero stars on iPad and barely a one star on an iPhone. Even on the web, it uses outdated components like Microsoft Silverlight, which have been end of life and support for ages.

IBD for IPad Pro. Time consuming and cumbersome app. Must return to stock list each time to open next chart. One should be able to flip through to next chart like the pages of a book. App opens into screen size of iPhone screen. It can be enlarged to fit IPad but should be automatic. Screen rotation for charts doesn’t work most of the time. Most of us want to see our chart horizontally across the screen. The windows website works much better, but my IPad Pro is much more mobile and convenient to use than my lap top. I wish this were true of this app!

Great Service. I am a New user to IBD online and I really like it. But I have used Marketsmith for several months and it has made my investing decisions more precise plus I love how to rate the different companies. If you are a serious investor and want to know when to enter and exit. I highly recommend MarketSmith and IBD online.

Quality app. No easy money ever made, but IBD provides a wealth of resources to pave the way to good earned money. Easy to use and great recommendations. You always should do your own due diligence. Thanks to IBD I’ve been able to make some solid investments that have paid off.

Good, but needs Valuation metrics & Balance Sheet metrics. The problem with IBD is: 1) I cannot find any access to valuation metrics such as PE ratio, PEG, Price/Sales, etc. AND 2) I cannot find any access to Balance Sheet metrics such as Cash Balance, Debt balance, Debt/Equity ratio, Current Ratio, etc. Without these metrics in combination with IBD metrics, I am forced to go to other platforms before knowing if a company is a good investment.

Too much advertising buttttttttt. I hate ads. So allow me to disqualify myself as being “fair and balanced.” If you pay for an app or paper you should expert some advertising but IBD has three or four sentences then an ad; three or four more sentence and another ad- you get the idea. If this doesn’t bother, the content is what you would expect: micro-short term oriented.

IBD sub groups. Aug 16, 2023 I signed up again. I am now retired & did not think I needed IBD. BIDEN is wreaking the economy on 2023 with his inflation increasing policies. Everything costs more now a days. Fuel up to $3.48 in ALABAMA. Trump had it around $2.15. His policies worked. July 11,2018 Still love this app. I am using stock of the day and NH list. (This IBD APP IS EXTREMELY valuable if you get investor business daily newspaper from Los Angelo’s. You can sign up for the electronic addition which is delivered daily in morning. I enjoy this app. May 3, 2018 The more I use it the better I like it. I have created 5 watch lists for different time horizons. Short term Stocks to long term Stocks.

IBD remains the best tool available for stock pickers. Best overall tool marrying fundamental and technical analysis—the CANSLIM system founded by the late William O’Neil works and equally as important, gauges where the market is, in its current direction. Absolutely the best one’s money can buy for those who want to match-wits with the market, utilizing individual equities.

IBD is good but their app is just ok.. Open the app and it will give you a little alert. Click on the alert and it kicks you out of the app and opens your browser...now you’re back out of the app and in your browser after clicking on the app? Why have the app if the first thing it does is kick you out and back to your browser every time an important alert pops up.? Terrible design and very annoying.

Be Good, Be Brief, Be Gone!. That describes the IBD Mobile App. It closely replicates the Web version of IBDs digital content. The ‘Lists’ section of the App takes you to the pertinent areas of interest. And, I especially like the ‘News’ section, which delivers insight on Stocks and their actionable events. It’s timely, which is indispensable, if you’re trading The Market.

Overall a good app. Good app with a few inconveniences, like chart is not fitting well into screen. The content could be more personalized. There could also be a function to save article to my personal folder for future reading. But overall it has been much better than initially released since paper IBD was gone.

Hard to navigate but informative. I can’t access some features maybe it’s because I haven’t payed for it,but still I need to see when we hit a trough by the way Biden is pres during the econimically worst time.I feel like trump new it was coming so he did what he needed to do then let Biden clean up his mess

Charts won’t load!!!. There has been an issue for over a month where after viewing 15-20 charts they no longer load and you get the ‘retrieving data’ message. Have submitted multiple tickets to support and they will not acknowledge an issue. Been using for 2 years and while information is top notch and critical for investing, have to have full access to all info especially charts for analysis. No issue on website just app.

Alert option?. An alert option would be a big improvement

Unable to easily access regular features. Like - the ease in which I can look up the charts for each stock that is mentioned in the article. Very helpful 👏👏 Don’t like- 1. Big picture column is not easy to access. Would be nice if it presented the content just like the sections on the website. 👎 2. Login. I think world will come to an end before Ibd figures out the login. A simple Touch ID is not available in the app.👎 3. A paid subscription and still massive onslaught of advertising. 👎

Great info with a little glitch. Love the info, live the actionable alerts! Frustrated that sometimes the alert links that pop up on my phone fail to take me to the advertised headline/article, and then I can’t find it on the app until later... but the charts are wonderful.

CRNA. IBD has helped me gain a much better understanding of how the market works. There approach to investing has helped me understand how to pick a good stock, when to enter a position, what strong stock performance looks like and when to exit a position. There is so much IND has done to shorten my learning curve and increase my returns. IBD will help you make more money.

Source of spam?. I go back over 30 years using the internet and apps. Like the reviewer in the IBD iPad app, terrible, I signed on and soon my email spam went from a controlled small number daily to a large, uncontrollable number. This problem is readily testable, albeit not necessarily hard science. Try it yourself with a throwaway email. It makes me absolutely infuriated, to the point of getting my business news elsewhere. Good content but NO further IBD association for me!

Awesome. Love the app, but there are a couple glitches that occur when using it. When I click on a company’s comp rating to look at how it compares with other companies, and then try to click on another company’s symbol in the list of 5, the app will close every time.

No. 1 source for me. IBD & MarketSmith - the best sources for me for information, and experience and fact-based thinking. No scare tactics. No “tea leaves” guesses and projections. Reliable data at every turn. My “go to” knowledge sources that also share years of verifiable wisdom. A real powerhouse in the financial information and analysis industry!

Gear information, so much info can be overwhelming. This app has a lot of helpful info but there is so much info it can be hard to decide what stocks to buy or sell based on the info. I have only been using their basic service for a week so far. I’m sure it will be easier to filter through the info as I get used to it over time.

Great Stock Selection. Always in the know when it comes to market segments getting the most attention. Makes it easy to know you are in the right sectors before you apply your technical analysis to choose the best options

Informative. I have used the app to find stocks that produce growth even when the market is in correction. The IBD 50 is a great place to go after reading the big picture. The graphs and charts allow me to quickly find 7-10 stocks I want to monitor more closely.

Good but could be better. I like everything in this app except that there is absolutely no company description included: so you only have company names and ratings but to understand what is this company doing you have to go to competitors since they always include several sentences describing the company…VERY inconvenient and same thing in IBD digital website - no company info included…

Personal Investors Must Have Tool. Wish I had discovered IBD years ago. But better late than never. A must have tool for personal investors. Pair a subscription to IBD Digital along with a subscription to IBD MarketDiem, as I have, and you’ll have the base essentials for market success.

Great Business Information. While labeled for “Investors” IBD has a diverse amount of business information. This helps build a broader base of understanding of the business world and particular sectors thereby improving outcomes. The app is great to use while on the run and provides almost the same important information as the website. Highly recommend!

Best Financial Newspaper-Best Financial App. I have been a long time fan of William O’Neil and his work. This application does a great job of delivering stock data and analysis that is valuable to a CANSLIM investor. I miss the days of buying the IBD on the newsstand and reading the rankings, reviewing the stats, and studying the charts, but this application delivers all of that, and more, in a much more timely manner.

Always the best ... plain and simple, the ultimate source of investing news!. IBD is simply the best source of information for the discerning investor whether they be a novice or a seasoned professional. If you want to consistently profit in the market IBD will get you there! Their stock ratings and lists based on the brilliant CANSLIM method are I ngenious and give investors confidence in buying quality and consistency. IBD is simply the BEST!

Much To Be Desired. IBD has much room for improvement, but no appetite for it. Their MarketSmith software hasn’t been meaningfully updated since the Apple II computer was introduced. And even if you pay for a subscription to IBD, you’re still hit with pop-up and other annoying ads. And the headlines for the story often don’t fit well with the article (have to go on a fishing trip to find the relevance to the headline in the article). And the IBD methodology of buying breakouts is outdated.

Needs landscape mode support. This app is a good start to providing useful function. It would be easier to use in an i-pad if landscape mode was supported. Still has some usability bugs. Does not remember my login if I switch to another app while using this app. Since this app is really designed as a phone app it is really limited as to the amount of information that can be presented on a tablet. Logging in on a browser is still more useful than using this app
