Love it, almost.... I love the companion app, just two complaints... 1) It crashes, a lot... and it’s particularly annoying when you’re trying to buy something from the transfer window and you have to quit the app and restart it. 2) Frequently get duplicate items from high rated Squad Building Challenges that you can’t do anything with... Can’t swap untradeables to maintain chemistry, position, contracts, etc. Also can’t add to squad if duplicate is present. I wish the app was more stable and that there were more options for managing duplicate untradeable items from SBCs. It’d be nice to be able to trade in single duplicate players, or at least be able to use duplicates in SBCs without sacrificing the duplicate squad player. If these issues were fixed, I’d give this app a perfect 5 star review. But as it is, I give it 3 stars because you lose a star for each issue that prevents you from being able to use the app to the fullest.

Cant access the transfer market two week update. Hello i am writing another review. it has been two weeks since I created my account i have played 106 games and done sbc’s objectives and played every game mode. And when i open the app It still say’s that i have to”play more if the game”. This is honestly a joke and false advertising when i bought fifa 20 it said that i could access the transfer market from the companion app but i cant. I contacted ea and they said that i was close to getting it unlocked about three days ago and i still haven't gotten it so what now. This i feel that to fix this they should make it a set amount of games and as on objective in the “objectives” tab in game so you can track your progress. And then when you get access to combat all of the bots you should have to do email verification. I am honestly verry disappointed in ea’s app

EA has a monopoly on the virtual football market. No transfer market access granted even though I paid for the game and FIFA points. After further looking into this I found that thousands of other users had this same problem. Even though they did not break any rules (I did not either) and paid for the game, still no access granted. After constant attempts to contact ea, my only response was, play the game and access will be granted. For some, 100+ games in, this is still the answer. EA makes beautiful games, but treats the consumer like dirt and though I love football, I wish it was the ones making the game gave half a crap about the consumer.

Great concept and is amazing… when it works. This app has saved me tons of time when I’m out and need to finish an sbc. That’s the main thing I use the app for and think it’s perfect for that. The reason why I’m not giving this a 5 star is the bugs. Basically every other time I try and get on the app it dosent let me saying I don’t have a fut club or some other message, when doing sbc’s the game will just freeze and you have to restart it, plus the app is just veryyy slow to load. Please fix these glitches and I will change my rating

Inconsistent. The app is convenient. I am a trader so I bid on the transfer market regularly. In my experience the buy now feature in the transfer market works for the most part to snipe. But It is horrible when you are trying to bid in the transfer market. It is near impossible to win a bid in the last 30 seconds. There has been so many times when I am bidding in the last 30 secs competitively then my bid won’t get entered due to an error which causes me to lose bids. If there’s a way to fix that piece then this app would definitely get a higher rating. I’d recommend just using the game to bid competitively. If you don’t mind losing on bids then the app can work for you to complete SBCs and mass bid. You just won’t have any luck if you want to go back in to the bid and try to bid competitively.

App Freezes Up When Using Transfer Market. Apps are meant to be convenient but somehow EA have figured out how to make this one work against you in the most annoying way. Managing your transfers through the app is the easiest and most convenient way to do it but all year the app has continually froze up while using the transfer market. So annoying. Hopefully FC24 will be better. One hope is they will add “cheapest price sold” as a filter in the new app, have it automatically show you the cheapest listing without having to go back and forth moving the target price which takes to much time. Again, make the app convenient.

Not helpful.. I mainly use the app for the transfer market. All other stuff could be done on my console and I don’t need an app for it really. The transfer market is broken. You find a player and you bid on it back and forth couple times then it won’t let you bid anymore. You’ll have to restart the app in order to bid again which by then the player I wanted is gone and for such a cheap price too. I’ve lost so many good deals because of this issue. Not sure why there is a bid limit when the transfer market is all about bidding. Please fix that.

Good but.... Needs an update to address issues with selecting the filters for the player search. When trying to add filters it’s almost impossible to select a certain position, league, etc and getting out of the selection scroll window without clicking on another filter item. When you try to click out of the scroll window it clicks something else that triggers a drop down window. It would be nice to include the “X” or a check mark like they do on other scroll menus see. On other apps. This would allow you to select what you want without making you try and select something else in a different bar.

This app could be so much more but fails on so many levels.. First off, I love the new look and new features. To actually be able to see attributes and playstyles now is fantastic. That is where the complements end however. The main focus of this review is simply this: the app cannot handle any movements within the app. After the recent update to FC 24, it has trouble running after a solid 30 seconds. An example of this is when trying to sell a player in your starting squad. When going into your starting squad, tap on a player and try to navigate to anything other tabs. But you can’t. The app freezes and won’t let you navigate it anymore. It is this simple, yet completely and utterly fatal flaw which makes this app useless. Imagine this fatal flaw in every tab; sbcs, transfers, and even trying to navigate your club. So until it’s fixed, and this app is completely reworked, this app will continue to be the bane of my existence. Congratulations EA, you managed to screw another thing up with your game.

The concept is there.... On paper, a companion app for a game like FIFA would be perfect. That leads to the question: “ how hard is it really to make a decent running companion app?” The app is LITTERED with bugs. No matter how long you’ve been using the app and how many times you’ve “remembered password”, it will log you out at least once every couple days. The interface is slow and sluggish, feels like an app made by an indie developer in 2009. Hell, most indie developers make better running apps than this one. And it’s not exclusive to the FIFA companion either, since the battlefield companion app is also equally sluggish and filled with bugs. EA for the love of god just hire a few dedicated personnel focused on these companion apps because much needed quality of life improvements are needed.

Very good other than a few small issues. Very good app other than a few small issues I’ve noticed. After you log off your console, sometimes it still says “logged in on another device” which is annoying. You can’t see player’s stats on sbcs. You can’t put concept players into an active squad. When you use filters and put rare, then gold, it takes away the rare. I also wish if you used a filter such as “low to high, or high to low” it stayed that way for the rest of the squad or sbc.

Great app but.... I’ve had this app for a year now and it’s great. What I’m about to say is that the game it’s self has a lot of problems. You might not be able to change anything but scripting is for sure a thing and you can’t deny it. You just can’t. Many people will agree with me too. The referees are also shocking. Sometimes I don’t even press square for a side tackle and I end up getting sent off. One time the goalkeeper made a save with his hands outside the box and the ref “didn’t see”. Once again I know you can’t changes anything but try to

Too slow. Everything takes ages to load, looking for players to buy or just as options is way more complicated than having to wait to be home to use my console. I tried bidding on players and for some reason the app wouldn’t load my bid, player ended up going ridiculously cheap because app wouldn’t load my bid. Very annoying, better to simplify it and have it work at a decent speed than to have all these gadgets and widgets that end up damaging the performance. This is on an iPhone 11 so no way my phone can’t run the app. Disappointing. The point of downloading the app is to take care of my FUT transfers without having to be on my console, not too good at doing that really.

Thieving App!!!. Be careful!!! I’ve been saving for the last three months for a specific icon. When the money started piling up I made the leap to buy some pricier players to flip for a bigger profit. Figured spend more to make more, right? I bought 4 players for roughly a million dollars, raised the price and put them back on the market. When I checked back in the app I found that two of the set prices didn’t match up with what I set and on a third card the minimum bid was set far lower than what I set it at. I LOST ABOUT $500,000 AFTER 1 ROUND OF LISTING THEM ON THE TRANSFER MARKET!!! I’d advise you don’t trust this app with your big investments!!! FUT is such a money gouging ripoff, way to ruin a beautiful concept with your greed FIFA!

Good App. I read the reviews and people are just bunch of whiners, this app is working just fine. Some things you can’t do on the app that you can do on PS4 or XBOX and I’m sure that EA are aware of that but overall it’s a nice app that you can use on the go. There is one thing that is annoying and it’s not about the app it’s about the SBC, some squads that players tried to build are not working for example in the BASIC category “the correct position” I put 3 players , 3 different leagues and 3 different nationalities and I didn’t get to chemistry 12 and I saw that others didn’t get it too.

Great way way way better than FIFA 17 companion.... However why can’t we use this app to log into our FIFA 17 account, think EA we still do stuff on that account so y’all need to rethink that decision. Also why is this so limited to only the features you have on this, why can’t we see our my club and the details, sometimes people leave their house for the country(vacation, business trips etc) and we don’t have our console with us so what we should do, play SBC and keep getting the sucking packs with nothing great? Nahhh atleast let us sim stuff come on guys just do more please.

Useless developers. These worthless “game developers” very obviously do not play fifa for even 1 second of their worthless lives. If you did play it for even 1 second, you’d see all the massive problems with this stupid game Hey useless Vancouver-Tokyo lovers, wanna put the international kits into the game yet??? It is mid-December at this point and the World Cup is halfway over, and you useless idiots still cannot put the international kits into Ultimate Team??? This is something you’d recognize that’s massively wrong with the game if you played it for even 1 measly second of your stupid Tokyo lives. P.s. And yeah we need EVEN MORE Japanese players to get upgrades they do not deserve in a million years …….

EA banned me from transfer market by mistake. EA banned my fut transfer market for nothing, first of all I have only one account I don’t transfer coins and I didn’t buy coins from nobody, I didn’t break ea rules, i followed their rules where it says make coins by buying and selling items in the transfer market, I used fifa points, and I sold some silver and bronze cards like everybody else does, so there is no reason no get banned my account from transfer market, I contact them 2 times for an investigation so they can see I did not do anything wrong but they haven’t answered yet they made a mistake , so I’m so sad I’m playing following their rules and they banned, there is many people who have many accounts transfer coins and they have no problem, I didn’t do any of that, so I don’t know what to do now....

Mayor Bugs. You know the app could be truly amazing, if it were to be fixed, there are mayor bugs, one of the bigger ones being the transfer market, when I’m bidding or more than 5 players, in the last 15 seconds it won’t let me bid again, no matter ho hard I try, it will just say there’s a higher bid even tho there isn’t, and time runs by and I have to close the app and open it again, and it takes A WORLD for it to open and load, I go back to my transfers and find that all the players I was bidding for are expired and were taken for the same price that it was when they said they’re was a higher bid and it wouldn’t let me bid, this really frustrates me, especially because I’m not always on my PS4 and I want to be able to gain some profits on the move. Really disappointing.

Need a cancel button on SBC’s. I was using the mobile app and used a squad builder to build the squad. I thought the submit button was the reserves like it is in a regular squad. So while looking for replacements to put in my squad for my really good players, I accidentally submitted it and now I’m out 91 mane, 91 mahrez, 90 alisson, 89 reguilon, 92 Gündoğan, and 87 aubamyang. I am in straight pain right now! Their needs to be an option to where it asks you are you sure you want to submit this squad. Because I assure you I did not want to submit it. Other than that this app is amazing.

Bugs,Bugs, and no fixes. the bugs in this game is surprising how they haven't fixed it. First bug is the national pride sbcs. When i did it says someone is not from the leagues required. Bidding is another problem where when your bidding in the last minute out of NOWHERE doesn't let you bid even though no one has a higher bid. This has made me lose sooo much coins that ea wont give me back looking at how greedy they are. Another is when your buying a player they will make you buy the first player on the search results. I have lose even more with this. HOW CANT A COMPANY WORTH $22.9+ BILLION CANT FIX A SIMPLE BUG AND EXPECT US TO BUY FIFA 21 THE NEXT YEAR THEN HAVE THE SAME BUGS ON A SIMPLE WEB AND MOBILE APP

Somehow even worse than before…. Been using the app for 6 yrs now. Could deal with the fact that I’ve lost thousands of bids over the yrs bc the app just randomly stops allowing you to bid, and took too long to reload to beat the 30 second final bidding window, because at least you could still buy players and maneuver in the market…but the 2023 version has taken even that basic functionality away. Can’t even LOOK at my players on the transfer list individually - much less list or re-list them - without going back to the console. If the transfer market doesn’t work properly, the entire app is worthless…and that’s where we are with EA in 2023.

Crash. Crashes all the time or doesn’t function; when it actually does work it is both extremely useful and amazing. Just use the client through a webpage I guess because this has gone on forever for this app. 2 examples that happen ALL the time: when trying to cycle through plays attributes using the icon in the top right, 1-5, the app will randomly crash, guaranteed. Also, when trying to list players on the Transfer Market the card may go dim and the app will freeze. Doubt they’ll ever fix this stuff.

Reoccurring Bug. This app works great when it lets you log in, it has some minor imperfections, like not letting you see the full stats for sbc players, not being able to build a squad with a preset concept player option etc..all things that can be ignored (for now). The biggest problem is the ability to log in. I understand when you are playing on your console, you may not go into the app, but when I have been logged off (and my console has been turned off) for more than 20 minutes, and i still cant access my squad on the app is infuriating. This has been a problem since the beginning of this companion app. It doesn’t communicate with its servers and it makes no sense. What if i turned off my ps4 before a trip and i went on my phone to check my squad or sbc’s and it wouldnt let me due to me “still being logged in on console” and i had to wait until i went home again....i shouldnt have to relaunch fifa to log in and log back out just to be able to use this app..its a major inconvenience and should've been solved on day 2 but its is now a few years in and this problem is occurring...unacceptable...

Fantastic app. This app works great. It helps me keep up to date with special giveaways and allows me to purchase and sell players without being on my console. While I do wish there was a way to be able to like sim matches and stuff the app does what it needs to do. I have a little bit of a problem with the transfer market sometimes with my coins not being returned directly until I close the app after someone outbids me on an item. Other than that, works wonders. I’ve made many squads because I’m bored and have been able to keep track of stuff that I normally wouldn’t be able to.

The end of FIFA. I have used this app for nearly 6 years and I would say I use it far more than I play the actual game. It used to be so much better, occasional bidding issues but generally an amazing app, 4 or 5 stars. But this year? EA are going out of their way to make the app unusable to force players into the game. First it was disabling repeatable SBCs during TOTY and now it’s disabling the ability to use the transfer list without the app freezing. There is ZERO chance this is not deliberate, a software developer is being directed to put these bugs into the game. If it wasn’t already obvious that EA only care about profits from FIFA points, look no further than this app: remove any “free” abilities for players to grind their accounts on the go. Tack on bad gameplay and servers, and you have a recipe for the downfall of FIFA. Thanks for reading.

Somehow worse than last year?. When I was using the companion app for last year’s game, i had an iPhone 7 so I thought that’s why my app was constantly crashing. Now on my iPhone 13, the crashes are even more frequent. Even after I restart my app, it will freeze and crash again after something as simple as selecting a player on the transfer market… It also refuses to accept your bids on players at random. There could be a player going for way under market value with less than a minute left, but when you bid, it says the “status has changed” and your bid is nullified… only for that player to be sold for the previous price. A truly awful app for the size of the company that runs it.

This App is Crap. EA need to improve this app. I can’t see players I have in my squad, when I try to turn the page to see other players, it gets stuck and stays on the same page just moving the players around. The market is also trash, after bidding 4X or so, it won’t allow me to make another bid, causing me to have to get out the app and try to get back on hoping I didn’t lose the bid. And when looking at my transfer list, after going to the next player, the screen changes and after like turning to 4-5 players, it’ll automatically restart the app. So many bugs to fix.

Usability upgrades needed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the app needs some serious usability and stability work. Cycling through views 1-5 of a card too quickly causes the app to crash. Midway through completing an SBC, the app gives an error that it failed to save changes to the SBC and upon force quitting and restarting the app, the SBC shows signs of players being in the squad (squad rating and chemistry are nonzero) but no players are shown on the field. Viewing individuals on the transfer list and cycling through them, the images don’t render and it slows the app down until it crashes. Most frustrating: attempting to place a valid bid on a transfer after submitting multiple previous bids on the same transfer (i.e. engaging in a bidding war) the app won’t accept the bid with several seconds to spare and you lose the bidding war.

Update made it unbearable. The app was fine until the most recent update. It’s now crashed 5 times while I’m trying to list players. 5 times in less than two minutes? While I’m doing a normal and necessary function? The cards also now glitch and freeze. It seems to be having issues rendering the images. This had been a marked improvement on last year’s terrible app, but now it’s somehow worse. What was the point of this? Please fix. Also add some content to the game. This has been such a terrible launch for the new series. I truly regret buying the ultimate edition. Edit: I am still unable to run the app properly and an dealing with constant crashes. Please revert it to how it was!

Too buggy. There are too many bugs. The app doesn’t communicate well with the servers. The purpose of the app is for us to be able to work the market off console, but when it crashes during bids, it defeats the purpose. Also, searching is terrible. If I want to search a midfielder, gold I set the filler. I find a player. Now I need another midfielder , gold. For some reason, I have to place the filter back on midfielders. Why? Why does it clear the position filter? It doesn’t do that for nationality, or League, or quality. Why position? There are several bugs like that throughout the app that don’t seem difficult to address but they go unresolved. It’s what we can expect from EA. They make bug-filled software. It’s pretty standard for them.

Worse than ever. Somehow this app is at it’s lowest point. It is practically unusable. Crashes doing almost anything. There are state govt publically funded apps that work better. For an app that is supposed to be so integral for UX and to keep players engaged it is a travesty. This app has needed to be completely rebuilt for years. Instead EA just keep building over the same old bones. It’s especially galling considering that EA want to soak players for money. But one of those key income drivers doesn’t even work? Everything to do with this game leaves a bad taste. Nothing works properly. Almost didn’t buy the game this year. This app is a wonderful reminder as to why.

Helpful but has major flaws. The companion app can be helpful, especially when wanting to do some SBC’s on the go and wanting to do some selling of players. But trying to bid for players can be quite frustrating. An error will show up quite frequently when trying to bid for a player that says “Bid status has changed. Please try again.” I have lost bids on players that I was watching for a long time and was in a bidding war against someone, to then lose out because of this error. It’s very frustrating and I have lost out on some wonderful deals on players because of this. To the point that I only will use it for SBC’s and finding Special players, because you can’t sort by this option on the game unless you know the Special series. Makes it great when wanting to browse for special players. Would be great if that fatal flaw wasn’t there and constant.

How about some usability updates?. 9 months in and I still can’t list more than 1 player on the transfer market without the images fading away and the app freezing. If you tap the button to change card views more than a few times the entire app stops working. I have to restart the app an average of 10 times to compete an SBC. It’s sad that using the app is so frustrating, love the concept, love when it works, but from a software standpoint absolute garbage. While we’re at it, how about adding updated searches for Rarity. I can search for Icon Swaps 2 which is over, but there is no option for Icon Swaps 3 or TOTS tokens! Like, really bro? I’ve dropped >$500 in FIFA points alone per year, your customer service is atrocious and app stability is trash, yet for some reason I still come back and spend more money, thinking it’s got to get better at some point. Right? It HAS to…. Or maybe it doesn’t.

The App does its job. As much as people complain about the transfer market bug which does become annoying, there is a simple way around this and that is backing out of the transfer market and going to your transfer targets. It’s super quick to do and is less than 30 secs to do. If it bugs again, back out and return, it’s no hard to do. People are really dumb if they haven’t figured out how to get around this. Even the platform version does that sometimes. SOMETIMES. Not all the time. Beyond that bug, everything works really great and you can literally do everyone in this app as far as FUT is concerned, other than not being able to play the game. Love everything about it! Thank you EA :)

Decent. Too much missing.. There are so many things that make this app, user unfriendly. Can’t see details of SBC players. Sometimes can’t even see the base attributes of an SBC player card. The transfer market usability is horrible. Works fine for a very basic player check for value. Simple to re-list players who haven’t sold. So basically, it does an adequate (if not good) job at the most basic of FUT things. Any desire to use this beyond very basic actions, good luck. Just so many small details of the app are very annoying. Anyway, 2 stars because it does fine for some very basic functions.

Fair, but glitchy. The app is helpful remotely accessing many elements and I like the direction it is going in and the variety of aspects of the game you can access. The glitches are frustrating. It regularly crashes when I am in the transfer market attempting to list card. Also, you can’t directly buy chemistry consumables. The search lists noting, but if you have one then you can bid by using the compare price feature. Overall okay, but needs work.

Where are the pictures???. I don’t get how ea go from okay to worse. Where are the pictures that I see on the preview of this app. It’s a nightmare trying to complete SBC on this app. You can’t see the position of players, what league they play for, unless you click on player bio. Why did they take away the ability to tap on the player to see different info’s. EA, what are you doing with the money we pay every year to buy this game and the money people spend on packs? Can you higher enough competent people to test your product before these stupid releases. Fix it, Or just revert it back to how it was on FIFA 18. How hard can this be!

It amazes how intentionally neglectful this company is.. The fact that this app has had the exact same bugs for almost 4 years now should tell you all you need to know. All this company cares about is selling more packs and it's never been more obvious. The app straight up doesn't work try and list more than 3 cards on your transfer list without the entire app restarting cards freeze randomly bids won't place a lot of the time under 30 seconds the entire app needs to be re done and has needed to be re done for the past 4 years but this company does not care about you nor the state of this game just the packs sold per quarter. Im a yearly player of this game and franchise but honestly i'm so fed up with everything they get away with year after year and something needs to change this app is just the icing on the rotten cake.

I really love it. I found almost nothing wrong with it I like that I can jump on trade offers when I need to without waiting for my Xbox to turn on the only thing that I would like to see added if you can is that you can be able to be on both the app and on the game at the same time I don't know if that is possible that would be a great addition to this app but other than that it is awesome

Multiple bugs on iPad version. For as useful as this app is, it’s an absolute buggy mess on the iPad. The search/player list on SBC’s doesn’t work - it leaves players out or lists them out of order to whatever the filter is set to. For example, it skips every 87-86 and some 85 rated players when sorted to “rating high to low,” going from 88s straight to 84s. And forget trying to use squad builder for nation or league teams - it excludes leagues like Eredivisie from the pulldown list, so it’s impossible to use squad builder for it. Quite frustrating. This app is much better on my iPhone, but the text is microscopic. Do better, EA.

Good but not great. The whole purpose of the app is to keep track of your squad and what you are selling on the market but you have to go in the app in order to see what’s going on. I wish they would send me a notification every time the timer expires for my players or items I’m selling. That would help out so much because at times I wanna see what’s going on without going into the app if I wanted to do that I would just go on my console which is a hassle sometimes. Also SBC are harder to complete now because it takes more time tapping on each player and all of that last year was better. PLEASE EA INCLUDE NOTIFICATIONS FOR ITEMS ON MARKET SOLID OR WHEN THEY EXPIRED thank you

Great most of the time. I mean the companion app is great for sue but… it could use some fixes, so many time have I had to delete the concept players from my squad over and over again and it gets annoying, and sure the SBC building system isn’t the best.. but once you get used to it, it’s a little easier. But other than that I love this app. ( btw if you log out and turn off your console you’ll still be log in so it’s better to log out while still on ultimate team)

It don’t let me access my account for some reason. I can’t access the app? It gives no explanation , all it says is Early web and mobile access has expired. You need to log in to FUT 23 on you’re console or pc to continue using this account? Which I already tried on my console & it’s kicking me out & then I try accessing this app again & it still won’t work & why would I have to login into a different device completely defeats the purpose of the app . If I can give 0 stars I would & not to mention the transfer market glitch where it won’t let you bid & doesn’t let you buy the Mexico national team kit among others

Worst app game combo to date. This app and game have been the worst combo to date as far as any FIFA games I have bought and used. There is constant bugs and constant bs issues. You would think that EA sports wouldn’t release crap or have this many issues after 5+ constant years of upgrading the same game, but I figured wrong. This will be the last EA game I buy. Thanks for the relentless frustrations from something that is supposed to help pass the time........ again kicked out of fifa mid-game. Absolutely terrible! I wish I had bought the disc instead of the online purchase, I would have taken it back or got something from game stop. Sick of this!!!!!!!!

Terrible unstable app. This app is absolutely awful when it comes to the transfer market as it will often not allow you to make a bid after a certain amounts of bids made. It just gives an error and you have to quit the app to in order to get the transfer market to work again. The problem with that is the app is so slow to start that you will often lose the bid (for the price you were prepared to beat) by the time the app reboots. Also if you use the app for multiple things, during a single session the app will often freeze up. For example, if you poke around in squad building challenges or look at your active squad and then go to another section of the app, the pages will often stop loading and the buttons stop working forcing you to kill the app. I have to quit the way too many times per session, and end up using the app in small increments of 1-2 minutes where I preemptively quit and restart the app for me to give this app anything but the 1 Star I gave it. Fix the app!

Constantly hangs and needs restarting. This year's app is horribly unstable. It constantly hangs when doing tasks like posting players on the transfer list or searching for players to fill in SBCs. When tracking transfer list bids you've made it will prevent you from revising a bid saying a updated bid has occurred even when one hasn't happened. When searching for players in my club it fails to find any players when using simple search constraints like "Midfielder" even though it works for more constrained asks like "CM". It's so unstable I can barely use it for more than a minute or so without having to close it and restart. It also is always telling me that a new update is needed and seems to download the update only to keep doing the same thing almost everytime I restart the app. Deleting the app from my phone and downloading a fresh copy from the store doesn't help.

4.5 stars. This app is really good and thanks to the new update it is easier to find specific cards you are looking in the transfer market but then sometimes the app freezes and I can’t do anything and I have to log back in. Also in the transfer market there are times were after a couple of bids you can’t bid any more so you have to log out and log back in. But overall it would be the best app if it weren’t so freeze most of the time and sometimes. Also this app sometimes doesn’t save my squad so when I play on console I have to make my squad all over again. Also I would like FIFA to help buy FIFA points through the mobile app so you can pay through an iPhone gift card. This app helps me make my team better without going on a console.

Fresh Update. Still Broken.. New update 3 days ago yet I still can’t swap a duplicate player in club with one in the transfer listwithout crashing. So I can’t clear my unassigned players efficiently. I have to assume that if EA actually wanted to make it easier for players to manage their clubs this would be fixed. But EAs goal is to make me spend more money on this game despite the terrible gameplay this year. They bottleneck our ability to trade and club manage effectively so we get frustrated and spend money to get the players we want. So I’m stuck in a position where yea, I play this game and get a lot of enjoyment out of it still. But I absolutely can not recommend it to anyone.

Broken rubbish app. The app is rubbish, EA should be ashamed of themselves. I know they probably didn't directly make this app but the fact that they think it's good enough to be released is pathetic. It crashes constantly on my iPhone 13 Pro and my iPad Pro M2. It's not an isolated thing, this happens to everyone. This is a live service, you're charging like a wounded bull for the game and then making money hand over fist on packs. Spend some of the profits on improving the app is not the actual game.

JUST A MESSAGE FOR THOSE WITH PROBLEMS. For all those people getting the message "early start has ended you need to create a fut club with a security question etc" it is probably one of these problems, as I have just got this problem fixed recently. 1. You are using a child fifa acc, and therefore it won't let you get the web app or companion app. There is an email you can send official age details to if you need to update a child acc to an adult acc 2. You are using the wrong acc. I went through alot of phone calls with EA about updating my age details, then to realise that I was just using the wrong email address. Check your EA acc details, check your original and details, check your gamertag/psn details and check your emails details, as I spent quite a bit of time trying to line up the right origin acc with the correct EA etc.

SBCs are extremely buggy. I have missed multiple SBCs as I am away from my PS4 and the ability to complete SBCs in the app is almost impossible. It says they do not save continuously. The amount of money I spend with ea is ridiculous and the service is very below par. Especially when it comes to the end of the game. I feel very sad about this and spend so much of my time working around bugs. I spend so much on fifa points it is embarrassing and now the game doesn’t even work, surely you can spend some of the money on development of a better application.

Still crashes every few minutes on iPhone. Just like FUT 20. Look, it’s a great app. You can do pretty much everything except play games. However, it HAS to be able to do those things well. It crashes every few minutes and i have to reboot it. I haven’t tried the transfer market yet, but that was another BIG issue with 20. All of a sudden you aren’t able to bid on a player as it says the price has changed. But no matter what price you put in, or with any other player transfer, you can’t bid until you reboot. Please, please sort that out, if you haven’t already 🙏

Recent update did nothing. Everyone knows the big notification EA shows us when we log into our companion app . Telling us they’ve fixed the problem where the error comes up not allowing you to bid , and for random reasons kick you out of the app . My app is still doing it ! Every 4-5 bids I make I get an error and I’m losing these players , how am I supposed to make my team better and complete SBC’s ! Honestly getting beyond a joke . I feel for those suffering still

My tea is gone. I sold my team so I could complete the PITY STERLING SBC and I got him and played a couple of games with him and the one day I logged back onto the app and he had dissaperad and the team I had some to complete the SBC was back as my starting squad and sterling was no where to be found, it wasn't just him there was others replaced with my old team as well. I logged back onto my XBOX to see if it was just a phone thing but it wasn't my team was gone there as well, please help me get them back I miss them

Good app but buggy and lacking search filters. Apps pretty good but has bugs. Needs more filters for searching consumables, eg should have seperate filters for player and squad fitness searching.. bugs I’ve had are you click on an item, make a bid, get out of it and then you’ve bid on a completely different item.. also doesn’t show you’ve been outbid on some items until it’s finished processing.

Extremely buggy and disorganised. Most recently after the current update, the web app has been extremely buggy as you cannot purchase players off the market and send them into your sbc squad straight away as it says there was an error and this is annoying as it wastes a lot of time that is usually saved by doing this on the web app. The other problem is with each league, every other year the coins are categorised by names in alphabetical order however this yearthe clubs are just randomly put it the filter which makes it difficult to just find a club by letter but instead just having to scroll through, despite on console it being in alphabetical order.

Bugs. - Can’t make a squad, will either come up with errors or when u finish ya team all the players will be sent back to the club. - Can’t send players to transfer market as it comes up with errors - because you can’t sell players means it’s hard to do anything with Eafc when travelling or away from the game, it gives you a break from the game since the app can’t complete simple tasks. REALLY ANNOYING…

The game. I love the fact that you can use it everywhere, and you can change your squad and it I’ll be save on your console or whatever you use is so simple and so easy to use

Very good but….. This app is very good u can edit ur team but players open pack do sbcs and more and I like it a lot. The only thing that is anoyying is every time I have a duplicate and I use it in a sbc I can not get my duplicate until I restart my app which is very anoyying other than that this app is very good and I recommend it to everyone who plays fifa.

Quite buggy but overall decent. Main bug that's concerning me so far is one where If you list a Chem style with a specific buy now it kinda goes away and lists it as 150 coin bid and 10k buy now. Makes trading with Chem styles difficult. However this is the first version of the app and little issues are expected so overall a very solid app

Too many bugs. App has so much potential but if you use it to trade or even for sbc’s you will soon become frustrated with the app. I can only trade up to five players before the app crashes and the player cards turn to black. Similar to last year. With SBC’s it is a similar story, you cannot complete a full SBC, with out the players going black. Soon after the players go black, the app crashes and becomes non responsive.

FIFA 17 Companion App. This such an awesome little app for checking out new signings I want to make, play around with my squad. Lately, I have been getting very frustrated as I do the SBC's and as I add players they don't add up to 11 players. So, I find myself continually repeating SBC's 6 or 7 times. Please fix this glitch as it gets very frustrating.

Fit 21 companion. I know no one will probably read this but I think this is an Amazing app, I love doing sbc’s and opening packs on this the only problem is you can’t purchase FIFA points in the app, this would be very useful and make the app a lot better. I really would like this to be added because sometimes people don’t have access to their console and might want to open packs, another reason is that you would be able to use an apple gift card on them as well. I haven’t experienced any bugs with the app and love the way it works. Thank you EA - A FIFA player

Broken Bidding. If you guys could fix the app in regards to transfer bidding it would be great. Fed up with the app showing I have won something then going to send player to club only to find I have been outbid. Also annoying when you can’t increase a bid due to the app not letting me and stating bid status has changed only to find someone has won the payer for less than I was trying to bid!!

Minor bug can’t scroll. In the latest update I can’t scroll on certain things. Example with your announcement of latest update when you open the app you can’t scroll to read it. Also happens in SBC when I’m looking at the requirements it won’t let me scroll down when you can see the requirements and reward. Also is there any chance of putting sbc as a shortcut menu item. It’s one of the key journeys us users take but you hide it. Even on console via ps4. But I know you can only fix via app, so can we customise it get sbc added as a main menu? I’m sure your data would show how often it’s used.

Way better than doing in on pa4 (so slow) but still buggy. Crashes often, so slow to try and purchase off the transfer market, so annoying that if you want to go through an SBC and purchase off the transfer market, when you go back it goes back all the way to the SBC rather than the market

Innovative app. As far as the game went horrible with multiple scripts and laggy servers, I kinda gave up on fifa 19. But this mobile app is far fetched from its native game and is able to provide me fun. It is ‘fun’ as in less monetisation and fewer pay to win situations. Although fifa 19’s horrendous performance and laggy servers has made me want to put off the console version, this app somehow made me return to the game. As such, EA should take pride in this excellent work, which was not even their expertise or main target way to sell. I praise the hard work by the team, and at the same time, EA should be ashamed of themselves for making horrible game. Fork off idiots!

App is so buggy and broken, not worth using!. It’s safe to say that the app is unusable and not worth using, even if you cant access your console at the time. It’s literally more efficient, and better overall to wait until you can access your console, rather than try your best to use this broken mess of an app. You’d think all they have to do is copy and paste it from last year, and add a few features, but it seems they can’t even do that correctly, just take peoples money with store packs. Useless oxygen stealers.

Great but doesn’t take advantage of new in game features. The app is so smooth and easy to use as always, but there are so many features that could be added to further improve the app. For example, if the app allowed access to the new feature of custom tactics and the ability to view things such as FUT champions weekend league progress and division rivals progress and possible rewards it would be so much more immersive and all round better app.

The app that doesn’t improve. I’ve been using this app for years now, unfortunately its essential to any serious fifa player. I say unfortunately because the app is so painful to use. It constantly logs you out, and despite hitting the ‘remember me’ button it never remembers any login credentials. More recently you can no longer see the player card associated with sbc rewards. This forces you to navigate to another website to see the stats of the player your trying to gain. Among other things the random inability to bid on a player when the app just decides it can’t do it. Oh how I’d love to take over the dev team responsible for this app. It could be so good… but it’s not.

Hire a testing team. I struggle to fathom how a billion dollar budget title can’t afford to pay a single tester to perform basic testing of the app. Every year there are countless major failures of the most basic tasks. Currently: cards don’t show up most for he time and requires a reload of the app every few minutes, concept players don’t auto populate once purchased if they are out of position, you can’t search for a player in your club if the concept player is out of position, search doesn’t work, transfer market searches for club items reset themselves after every search, squads on app only showed a striker - impossible to make a squad, I could go on for hours. All of this found within 5 minutes of using the app. You make a million dollars per 15 seconds during lightning rounds how about you use it to hire some testers so your product isn’t unusable garbage year after year.

Bugs and disappointment. Crashes, some pages don’t load and then freezes all options > you have to quit the app and start it again. From time to time it rejects your login and you have to re-type it. Many many many occasions has the app not let me bid on a player/ item, I don’t know how to explain it but you’ll experience it . Horrible , stick to market on main consoles ( Xbox, ps3 & pc)

Great App, but lots of bugs. This is such a great app, you can do almost anything apart from play. But you should be able to see your Div Rivals, Squad Battles and Weekend League Progress and possible rewards you can gain. You should be able to qualify for WL if you have enough qualification points right here on the app. But this app is soooo buggy now. It used to be alright, but looking at Objectives is just super slow, you have to goto Milestones then to Season Objectives just to see them. Adding players to squads is clunky and slow, which is disappointing because alot of people use the Web App/Companion App to do SBCs and the like. Apart from this, this is such a great app and I use it all the time.

Help. When I finished creating my account it took me to this website. I think it was on EA’s website but then WHAT?? Please help and also guide people a little better so they can understand how to get in. If you want me or any other people who would like to use this app make it easier to get in. Because then we won’t get to play your game because we get taken to a website. Then how would you be able to get happy that we’re using your game. I hope I get to play the game. Once you’ve made it easier to get in!😾

Riddled with bugs, and no, I repeat, I’m not a robot. Out of sheer frustration I have given it 1 star until the following is fixed: 1. Repeatedly asked to verify that I’m not a robot and booting me out of the app whilst completing SBC’s or in the middle of a bidding war with someone for a good value player. 2. Players added to an incomplete SBC are not saved, so when you go back into it you have to search your club and add them all in again. So repetitive. 3. When down to the wire in a bidding war, you’re suddenly hit with an error message ‘transfer details have been updated, please try again’, which stops you from entering a new bid. You helplessly watch your wanted player’s timer tick down from 30 seconds, unable to bid any further. Happens every time.

NEW TO FIFA, CANT ACCESS WEP APP. YOU REALLY DESERVE A HALF A STAR!!! Why is this a thing, I just want to use the web app and it says I’m not allowed to until I get the full game I paid $150 for the ultimate edition and not I can’t even use the web app, seriously what a joke EA!!! I called the help line nobody can help me this is a dumb feature please fix this ASAP I’ve been a loyal customer for years 7+ and just because I got a new account on a new console I’m automatically not allowed to use the web app, who decides this absolute bull s*%# of a company get it together EA!!!

Login was very Bad. When I logged in the first time it worked than I didn’t use the app for around 10 days and then it just logged out and also whenever you log in and you have to go to your FIFA account on your console or pc I did than it still said But the app it self is good you can control your team wherever claim rewards and get packs.

I’m super sad :(. I was doing a squad building challenge on the app and I used the squad builder. I added the filters ‘common gold, low to high’ and I pressed build. Once it was created, I checked my players tab and all my high rated players (Jairzinho, Ronaldinho) were all gone and I will never get them back. EA if you hear this my account name is FIREBOLTFLYS.

Major bug. Using a 10.5 in iPad Pro. Screen jumps around when bidding, flashing on and off whenever you attempt to input the bidding amount. Twice I’ve blown 10,000 coins on cheap players because it’s moved to the “buy now” option when I couldn’t see what was on the screen. VERY annoying. Merry Christmas to whoever sold those players I guess.

Can u plz change a few things. Can u plz change the notifications as in if a player is sold or there is a new sbc we can see it in our phone and can u put draft in the app as well. It will get more users and make the app a little bit more fun. Pointless App. I downloaded this app because I was under the impression I could go on the transfer market and search for players without having to be on the actual game. But when I get to that part of the app I’m ‘not eligible’ to use it, I have been playing this current Ultimate Team for about 6 months, how am I not ‘eligible’? What is the point in an app that doesn’t work. I have multiple years of FIFA UT played, but that still isn’t enough apparently.

Transfer market is broken. When I use the app, it says that I need to keep playing FIFA 18 on my PS4 to unlock the transfer market despite playing for almost 10 hours after seeing the message. Also please add a view toggle in squad viewer so that you can see your whole squad’s fitness contract etc so that making subs is easier, as I need to manually access each player and the potential sub and it takes ages. Decent app but could be better

Minor bugs but consistent application. The FUT companion app is an app that helps manage your FIFA account, useable with the most recent FIFA downloaded on your console or PC. The Application is consistent with its bugs, usually the same ones, minor though and with a restart of the app, the bug is usually fixed fairly quickly. The features of the companion app are fantastic, allowing players to access lots of features from the console or PC game, but not including all to make sure we still play the game. The app actually makes some features like “SBC’s”, a system where you exchange players for rewards, a lot easier than on the console/PC, having more features than the Console/PC in that sense. Overall, I find the companion app a successful and under appreciated application. The app that rarely uses updates and consistently is up to date with features, is a brilliant idea by EA and they have executed it excellently.

Minor bug. The filters in the transfer market player search are not working correctly. For instance if you try to search for just Icons using the League filter it doesn’t return any results and I know there are icons available in the market. Also EPL+Quality Special doesn’t return anything. This was working at some stage but just realised today that is not working anymore

The worst EA Companion App Ever Used. I can’t even bring myself to give a 2 star for this app. All I have had is consistent problems with this. The most common problem is the application freezing A LOT! This means having to restart consistently! Then SBCs not working correctly, meaning you can not finalise completed ones. Current issues with the app is the calculation of the teams chemistry! This has not been right for some time now and does not appear to be a fix! My guess is a lot of important people have left the brand to do something else, meaning you have less experienced individuals to take control. Unfortunately you can see there is a struggle with this application and hopefully it will be resolved soon. So based on the star rating I have given, I believe a 1 star is justified!

App is terribly optimised from a company who don’t care about their users. This App crashes constantly. Freezing whenever opening the transfer list or trying to manage squad. When auto building sbcs low to high it sometimes puts in your highest rated players meaning you may lose something you have paid hard earned money for by accident with no way of retrieving the player back. Terrible company who don’t care about the state of what they release things in as long as it makes them money.

Very buggy. I wonder how EA Sports can include all these new features, campaigns and content and make purchasing points a available on the app, however they are seemingly incapable of removing the ever persistent bugs of the iOS version of this app. You even don’t need to try hard to break it over a 2 minute use.

Functionally ok, but pointless to have unless you’ve played a bajillion games. Since EA has no interest in assisting gamers and is just here for a money grab, it seems only fair to leave a bad review. The app is basically useless until some arbitrary point where it decides to allow you to use the transfer market. As of right now that’s 50+ games, which apparently isn’t enough. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon so this app isn’t just dead weight taking up space on my phone. Aside from that, since the app has been updated for FIFA 19 it now functions a lot worse than it did before. It crashes a lot more frequently and the menus load/refresh slower.

New game, same bugs. Hi EA, Just want to inform you that there is a particular bug in the companion app which inhibits players from doing anything on it after about 5 minutes unless the app is closed and the reopened. It’s hard to explain unless you see it, but essentially the player cards will go blank, leaving only the black text on them behind. Once this happens, the transfer market doesn’t work, SBCs don’t work, modifying the club doesn’t work and if you aren’t careful, the whole app will just freeze. This bug started up around halfway through the last FIFA and has only seemed to have gotten worse. What’s interesting is that it only happens on the mobile app or mobile website, but not on the computer web app or actual game. Just wanted to let you know as the bug essentially makes the app unusable, and I realise how frustrating it would be for your team to work so hard on a project for something so small to completely ruin it. Hopefully you can fix it soon! Thanks.

Sudden App Crash. I have been using the app on my iPhone 7+ for 1 year now and the app is really good. Thanks a lot to EA for making such a wonderful app. However for the last 3 months I have been having a problem with app crash. When I use the app for about 5 minutes, after sometimes the app suddenly crashes and I have to restart the app again which takes a lot of time. So I would like EA to respond to this review and hopefully they will fix this bug in the next update. Thank You EA again for making this app.

Quality App!. The Companion app is so good, been using it since FIFA 18 and it’s been so helpful having this. I can use it on the go waiting for the bus, complete Sbc’s check objectives and sort out my team. Overall it’s amazing, however it would be nice if there was a feature where you could check to see your friends teams instead of having to go on the console and opening fifa, then friendlies to check my friends teams, other than that amazing app!

Really nice app. I use this when I am away from my PS4 and it helps tremendously. I earn coins when I play and buy when I am out or on holiday. But could be better, when I tap on my let’s say midfield it will come up with the striker or defender. Overall reeeaaaalllly helpful and nice.

High to Low Rating needs fixing. App good, but frustrating when exiting SBC to check transfer market or current club players and have to wait for SBC to load all over again. Also the new High to Low Ranking is overriding all other filters. Example, if I choose High to Low and Premier League in squad creator then it only places High to Low ranking and ignores League selection. Hoping this can be fixed easily :)

Great app just a really annoying bug. Companion is a really easy and organised app but there is one really annoying bug. When you search gold rare, silver rare or bronze rare players on the market, it shows all rare players. For example if I want to quickly buy a few low price gold rares, I have to just put the filter on gold and scroll through until I find a rare. It’s really annoying so it would be great if we could try to alert them to this issue so it can be fixed ASAP.

Good app. Ultimate Team app, can’t play. You can make sbc’s buy packs,etc. Has some bugs like after using fifa on console you have to wait a little for you to be considered offline on your console and sometimes it doesn’t let you complete sbc’s. Recommend this app if you want to play ultimate team and your outside without your console and want to play. And also recommend to get the Futbin app.

If you try to flip the face card to see other stats of the card, it crashes If you try to sent a card from your transfer list to your club it crashes If you try to list a card for sell from your transfer list, it crashes Every update makes it worst, now if you try to search a player by recently added, it won’t work. Cannot access account. I’ve had an ea account for a long time but my email linked to it expired so I cannot login, I can log into the EA website with my xbox account but not in the companion app. Would love to use this to use my fut at work or school or whatever. But I don’t really have an option since customer support won’t respond to me. Hopefully they add the login partners to the app in the future.

Should add transfer market support for Switch. While the transfer market is accessible in the companion app for Xbox, it doesn’t appear that it is offered for the switch. This would make the game even more appealing for those who use that platform.

Great app for the serial trader. I really enjoy using this app. I love that I have control over my fut while I’m at work or anywhere else. Very easy to use. I love the addition of completing sbc challenges. I have one suggestion, please look into providing player detailed attributes. Such as acceleration, free kick accuracy, tackling etc. I think it would be very nice and convenient also maybe a feature to compare multiple players on the market at the same time. Thanks.

Unusable App. I rarely bother writing reviews of apps but this year’s version of the companion app is practically unusable. No matter what you’re doing in the app; from completing SBCs to purchasing players to checking on objectives, the app freezes and/or crashes. Just delete the app from your phone and use the web app.

New update glitches cards. Since the new update , more than ever , players are turning invisible when putting them into squads / moving around SBC/ squad screens. Only happened occasionally before the update but happens every few minutes now

Ea is a terrible company. Not only is the app buggy and difficult to use/navigate. The company has no care for customer satisfaction and employs really shady behaviour in pursuit of profits. For more information on that you can do a quick google search. But stay away from EA products and services.

Expired access. Apparently they have “early access” to the app which can expire your mobile app. Now you can no longer use it until you have the copy of the game. I should have never used it in the first place

Worst app experience ever. I've been using the companion app since 2022, and I have to say this is the worst experience ever! In this year's version, there are a bunch of bugs, like whenever I go to the transfer market to buy a player, the user interface just freezes, so I can't buy or bid. Plus, when I select the player to swap out, the screen freezes again when I try to manage my club. That's crazy how EA can release such an unstable app. My guess is they're not creating the entire app from scratch instead just using the web app and rendering it here because I noticed the same bugs there too.

Every update makes it worse. Every update you never fix anything, just create more problems. It’s ridiculous that you can’t even use half the app features because it automatically crashes or freezes. You don’t care to fix it because it doesn’t make you any money. Can’t believe how little you care about your customers. If there was a bug with making a purchase and filling your pockets with $$$ you would have fixed it within hours if not minutes. It’s just sad how bad you’ve guys became.

Remember me… Not.. Why are there always bugs? There is a constant issue with one of the most basic features before even logging into the app… The “Remember me” button for a long time was not staying checked, meaning a manual check was required each time before signing in. For the past 48 hours, even when this box is manually checked, there is no retaining of entered information within the user field. What is the point? Perhaps it’s time to forget about this app.

Solid. App does almost everything I would expect it too. Can manage my team, packs and transfers all within it. One I thing I wish they added (and am sure they would profit on) is being able to purchase fifa points within the app. This can be an inconvenience at times. Otherwise, great app and quick load times.

Solid but could use work. Notifications on bid timers would be nice. My biggest issue I think is not being able to buy and use fifa points on the app itself. Why must I sign in on my console to purchase fifa points? The bidding on players features is a bit glitchy sometimes as well. I have plenty enough coins but it will not allow me to bid like someone beat me too it when in fact they haven’t and the card sells for super cheap.

Needs separation. I love this app. It has enhanced my gameplay for sure. There are obviously things that won’t be perfect but what bothers me is that I can’t sort out ucl special cards from normal TOTW. I really wish there was a feature so I wasn’t going through Both sets. Much like how you don’t have to go through gold and special to see special cards.

Not to bad. Just ok. I have skipped the past few fifa games. Got this one when Black Friday sales were happening and in my first 45k promo pack (witch is the very first pack I ever opened) I got 91 Pele. Needless to say this app has let me build a team when I’m at work keep up with my transfers and complete SBCs that I’ve wanted to complete all on the go! There are some bugs that need fixing. But usually just closing app and opening again works for me. Not a terrible app just ok.

Really Enjoy. Enjoying this app — total game changer for interfacing with the game. Never used it before until this year. SBCs are so much easier using the app and it’s great managing your team on the fly. Just wish it didn’t take a while to get access to the transfer market but ah, it is what it is. Still, great app for its functionality and design.

Does enough but could improve.... The app works great doing the basics, but the one thing I would really like to see added is a way to view the leaderboards for squad battles and division rivals and the tier cutoffs because if I’m away from my ps4 I’d like to know where I rank with the amount of time left to see if I’ll have to play more games or not instead of just hoping I did well enough and finding out when I get home.

Useful but has many issues. This app would be without a doubt 5 stars if it didn’t so many unexplainable issues. It doesn’t let you do SBC’s because “an error has occurred,” it doesn’t let you list players on the transfer market because again, “an error has occurred,” you get the point. What error occurs so often because I would really love to know? You pretty much can’t do anything the majority of the time because there’s just something wrong with the app and it simply doesn’t explain what it is. Please fix this.

Needs little work. The app delivers most of the content needed to keep up with the transfers and buying. However it needs notifications example: when you bid and move on to find something else a notification that times almost up would be good I've lost lots of bids due to the lack of this. And also for selling be nice to have a notification of when you've sold your players.

Boof. So let me start of with🤦🏽‍♂️ how can my console be turned off for 40 minutes and is still saying I’m log into another device! Second thing is I can’t even leave the app for 3 sec without it restarting on me! 3rd thing is I can’t even do sbcs!! “Squad sum sum was not saved” when I put a player like what? Last but not least I can’t bud on a player more then 3 times or else it won’t let me bud no more and I have to restart the whole app over again! The app is just as bad as the game

Top many bugs. From time to time I just don’t receive coins from selling players, for example on 28th of June I’ve sold 2 Harry Maguire cards for 5,5k each and received zero coins. Bidding just stops working here and there. Today I’ve chosen my division rivals rewards and they’ve just disappeared. So I’d recommend all of you not to download this app because when you write to fifa (and it’s really hard to even get to them), they’ll just ignore you and these problems that I’ve just mentioned saying something like wait one more day.

Crashes constantly, nagging bugs from previous years. The app crashes constantly for me. Usually can’t get through setting up a squad without having to shut down the app and log in again. Also some bugs from previous years that EA apparently has no intention of ever fixing - assuming loyalty on squad building challenges makes you put together a team via transfers only to find out once you’ve spent all your coins that it’s not valid; forgetting that you want to search concept players every time, even if you just selected it. It’s a terribly buggy app, so frustrating.

Good but…. The app is good for doing sbc fast, going on the transfer market, etc. Lately I have had this issue where when I go to my transfer list and I want to sell a card the app freezes. I would have to restart it everytime. It gets very irritating. This was not an issue a few weeks ago. Same thing goes when I try to bid on a player. The app freezes, absolutely horrible needs to be fixed. Other than that the app is good.

Menu Navigation. Responsive and generally well polished, however i do have a few issues. Primarily when selecting filters, the scroll menus lack a done button, so you can't easily exit scroll menus and it's a hassle. Also, the lack of a quick menu option (or whatever you'd call the bottom menu bar) for SBCs is annoying, especially since SBCs are one of the main features of the mobile app.

My experience. This app has many features towards your ultimate team in fifa 23. This has not only gave me ways for me to control my ultimate team, it helped me control my ultimate team away from my console, pc etc. So therefore i think this is a very great app and people should consider getting it if they play fifa 23 ultimate team.

So much better than 17. Ea has truly outdone itself with the fifa 18 companion app, the sluggish awkward app from fifa 17 is gone and it now has EVERYTHING except match play compared to the console version. An update SBC layout and streamlined transfer and squad pages. Well done EA Sports, I like to complain when you guys make things difficult but this is a job very well done!

Trash EA Company. It’s so sad how this game has became pay to win. They don’t care about the community, they don’t care about regulars who play the game, all they care about is updating their store packs. Pack weight on promo cards is so bad it’s impossible to pack any card, it’s impossible to pack fodder for sbcs, they push you to buy their store packs and even then in store packs you can’t get anything. A company that preys off of kids addiction to bad rewards. Really bad gameplay. But hey as long as they make money who cares right? Anyways this is the last game I buy from this company.

Being able to log in with the console they play on. Haven't been able to log in to the app. It asks me to log in to my ea account but dont have the email no more nor remember it so every time i log in to the ea website I log in with my playstation network account since thats the only way. I suggest they add a log in with playstation account option (or whatever the person plays on) when you first log in‼️ Im sure theres plenty of other people out there with the same problem. PLEASE ADD THE OPTION

I would like to take the opportunity to asking the option to have more than 2 uniform in the FUT, is necessary to make possible have at least 5 options and avoid get confused with the opponent, the same happened with the ball, why is not possible have three balls during the game and change whenever you want, this comment is really for the Game in PS4

Can’t bid freely. Happens all the time. In the last 30 seconds of bidding I constantly get an error that won’t let me bid anymore even though the price hasn’t changed. Always seems to happen when I about to get a good price on player for resale. Pretty sure it’s on purpose. EA has this game and app rigged like a slot machine! . Just got the update and still lost auctions because I was getting too good of a deal on players. So they lock you out so can no longer bid. Only happens when Im about to get rodri for 6000 coins. Happens every day, not a big just the way ea wants it...

Needs more features. I already love and use this app for all my ultimate team stuff like delisting players and collecting rewards, but I would love this app to have a Pro Club feature where you can talk to your club change the stadium and do other basic Pro Club things like accepting players, that would make this app even better than it already is.

Not functioning since this morning. Prior to today the app had been functioning perfectly fine. Today, I went to login and the login button was completely greyed out, not letting me click it. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled twice, and every time I try and log in to my account, I get told EA Account services are unavailable. Or sometimes it will buffer permanently, until I close the app. Please fix whatever went wrong/is going wrong with this app and your servers. Until then, I can’t recommend this App to anyone.

Transfer market access. I would have gave this a good rating if not for transfer access. I know it is to keep bots out of the game or something like that but even if you play more than 20 games it doesn’t allow access. My brother couldn’t get access for 3 weeks already even though he played way over 100 games. What is the point of not allowing transfer market access for weeks

Extremely unstable. Using this app in FC 24, any rapid presses or even slightly quick presses cause the application to freeze completely with the only solution being a total start, the only way to get it to stay on without freezing is to go extremely slow and even on some occasions that fails and it still freezes. I’m sure overtime with updates this will improve but as of now the companion app is the most unusable it ever has been.

Fifa Points in store?. The app is simple and easy to use and can do anything the actual console can besides play of course. The only other thing that would be more efficient and better would be to add a purchase points screen. Would also make the game more money which of course is the purpose of ultimate team in every sport game.

Warning. App is just like EA. Messed up and broken. At a quick glance, the companion app seems like a great way to stay involved with your fifa team on the go. However, the app is riddled with glitches and inconveniences. The app is missing helpful commands such as returning back to the previous page you were on. For example, if you search the transfer market and nothing comes up, there is no option to simply edit your filters and re-search. Instead you must exit out of that section of the app and reopen it, starting over from the beginning. Yikes EA.

So bad I might give 2k a try. After the endless bugs and glitches that keep me from entering concept players into a squad, that keep me from moving players from the transfer list, that regularly freeze the app and force me to reopen, that keep me from opening the app because I opened fifa on my ps4 an hour ago, that lead to failures in registering newly bought players, and that lead to a poor transition between screens, this app isn’t so bad. But not really. This app is just another weight at the end of the thinning thread keeping me interested in fifa.

Ridiculous Amount of Crashes. Though this app obviously has its convenience benefits and does well in squad creation, the transfer section is ridiculously abysmal and might as well not even be there half the time. You try to select a player, freezes, try to put someone up on the transfer market, freezes, try to quick sell freezes. Just as the actual game has some unreal bugs, this does too.

Love the app when it works. There is a huge sign on issue between the game at the app. I’m on ps5, sometimes exiting ultimate will still prompt a login error on the companion app. Lots of little bugs also scattered, specially with the button in top right hand corner that flips the cards to see stats. That button is super buggy. Breaks the images and text sometimes. It is very convenient, but like I said above, when it works.

Less than mediocre. EA is in a position where they pretry much can abuse their FIFA user community as they wish and the $$$ keep coming in. But even for their standards, this is a subpar effort. The app is full of bugs. The most obvious one - it simply can’t catch up with real-time bidding. Then there are the infuriating “safety measures” such as ever more silly captcha and random “bid freezes” when one has “used the bid button too many times”. Imagine something like that happening at Wall Street! All together, when complacency rules, this is the level that people have to put up with.

Please fix the issue with card images disappearing. Every 5 minutes or so the images of the cards disappear across all menus (sbcs, squads, transfer market, etc) and you can no longer see what cards you are looking at. If you try to continue using the app, the cards then start overlapping each other in squad view so you literally can’t do anything. The only way to fix it is to restart the app. This has been happening for months. Please sort this out. It makes it very difficult to use the app when you have to force restart it every few minutes.

Needs fixing big time.... This app is plagued with connectivity and authentication issues. It constantly has server issues, and today inexplicably that mobile access has expired right after booting me from the app in the middle of a transaction. This app is also missing critical features like being able to purchase FIFA points, the ability to change custom tactics and player instructions, as well as uniform and stadium choices. I'm dumping this app and will stick to the Xbox game alone from now on.

Worst app experience ever. Can’t believe how bad this app is. On the transfer page, every time I tap on a card, the app freezes. To list a few players, I have to restart the app 100 times. Worst app I’ve used ever. Since I love to play FIFA, I’m forced to use the app. A company like EA sports should pay attention to an app like this used by millions of people. Besides, this glitch is affecting the transfer profit EA makes. I cannot list my players using this app when the transfer list have a bunch of players. I’m forced to use the console, which reduces the number of players I sell.

A very frustrating app. I spend a lot of time doing SBCs and managing my transfer list on the app and it’s very frustrating having to close and reload the app due to glitches. Tasks that could be done in one go usually take five or six refreshes. Glitches that effect how players display in squads, the transfer list and on the market, as well as the glitch that locks the home screen as the last SBC squad you were doing, need to be addressed before the next edition of FIFA. This app has not been good enough this year.

I love this app. Thanks to GOD I work a lot that mean I don’t have a lot of time to play in the console But this app is great any moment I have time to login I do it and is helping a lot to build my fifa 20 dream team I can do SBC .. buy and sell players... do custom tactics on my team and so many things ir great I recommend this app if a can put 10 stars retes I will ... have fun don’t think twice to download jus do it

Good but there’s a bug. Most of my SBC have been completed on this app so I can invest more and get better players, but the thing is that on the advanced SBC in National Pride for England I have 6 PL players and 5 EPL Championship players that’s one of the requirements for the SBC but it doesn’t check out the box and I’m left with 6/7 to submit the SBC. Can you guys please review the bug so that it doesn’t also happen to anyone else that builds their SBC on the App

W app but….. 4 and 1/2 because it’s a really good fifa app it’s just everything about fifa 23 just without the games but I don’t like how you need to play games before you get transfer market because it’s 2 am for me I can’t play the game and I the reason I got this app was to use transfer market and all that stuff while I can’t get on and now I have to wait until tomorrow until I get transfer market 😫😔😫😔😫😔

Can improve. I love the app and use it daily and think its a great idea to manage your fut and do sbc’s , but the app has many glitches that I encounter on a daily bases. Overall its wonderful but the glitches make it impossible to do anything(especially sbc’s) Hopefully these reviews help the developers to improve their game oh step at a time. (also fifa is scripted you cant change my mind)

Pretty Slow but Helpful. Well you know I am a kid who can’t play on weekdays so when I redeem my rewards for division rivals and squad battles it helps so I can update the teams as quick as I can. When I log in sometimes I have to put my EA account again and again and it’s pretty annoying. Also, it’s slow when I go to team or transfer. In conclusion, this is a great app but has some minor bugs

Worst app ever. I would have given it a zero star if possible. I have never experienced an app that crashes as much as this one. One of the main features on it (transfer list) can’t even be used. Every single time I open the transfer list the app freezes. How many years has the companion app been produced? As for as I know since like fifa 20 but that’s only when I started playing and the app is still this bad. Three years of making the same app and it doesn’t even work properly?

LOST BIDS. Several times in the past week I have lost cards because the app won’t let me bid the next highest amount on a card within the last 30 seconds of the bid. It tells me I’m unable to make the bid even though I easily have enough coins to, and the bid hasn’t gone up... I just sit and stare at it while tapping away on ‘Make Bid’ as the card slips away into the night. Really frustrating since I can’t be at my Xbox at certain peak hours of the market.

How to switch platforms in setting. App is confusing and hard to use when it should be simple and straight forward... too bad... So my profile stuck on Nintendo switch as my platform even tho app doesn’t work with Nintendo switch version of game. So I gave up and quit fifa 20 I went PS4 to use app and full features but now I can’t cuz the setting in the new app don’t work or let me change platform like it claims you can. Waste of time and energy this my last straw EA I think I’ll cancel preorder cancel EA access and just be done with EA as a whole there stuff doesn’t work well enough

Good if you have coins. This app is really great but there need to be some minor changes. If you don’t have like at least 50K coins you have nothing to do. If you want to do SBCs the app is perfect but you then don’t get to test out the players. To be honest though EA would not even be able to add the gameplay because it’s mobile and that’s not the purpose of the app so I give this 5 stars!

There is no bug. The last review written was not a 2 star it should be a 5 star! It’s your fault you don’t know how to log out properly. If you back out of ultimate team completely and then turn the Xbox off it will let you right in without any problems. Please learn how to do it properly as this app is amazing alone with this game!!! Fifa all day!!!!

I can’t use the transfer market. I like this app so much I recommend it if you are somewhere far with no ps4, you can still change your team, complete challenges but there’s a glitch that you can’t use the transfer market. Can you guys please fix this it has sort of ruined my experience and set the whole purpose of the app in a bad spot which is why I am giving it a 3 stars, thank you.

Mostly good, freezing in the transfer list is really bad.. For the most part the app is really nice to have. The thing that makes it so poor is the constant freezing and restarting of the app while working in the transfer list. At times I can only list one player or send one player to the club before it freezes. Makes it near impossible to do anything. It's been an issue for at least a couple of months. Could use some looking in to.

Glitches in bidding. I downloaded the old app before this one “fifa 18” and the app worked great. Trading was good, betting was great, the app and overall performance was excellent. Now for this app “fifa 19” it’s a whole different story, the BIDDING IN THIS VERSION IS BROKE. If more than 5 people are bitting on a player in the last 15 seconds it will cancel out and say that “you are unable to bid”. no matter if you click the buy now button or bid higher then the person before. I’ve lost countless cards to this. Therefore, I deleted the application and will not be installing it back until this bug is fixed.

Good but missing key features. Works well for the most part and I thought that they would’ve updated w/key features like being able to edit custom tactics and update/refresh squad battles opponents. I miss out on games all the time on weekends while out because I’m not sitting at home waiting to refresh, we really should be able to do that remotely. It would also be nice to be able to search for players both in club and transfer market by rare/non-rare.

Easy to use. It’s an easy app to use and it links up with the game BUT every time I make changes in (FUT22) they don’t save and I find my squad back to how it previously was. Also a major improvement would be if we can open multiple packs at a time even though we have “items to deal with.” If we can deal with the duplicates after opening all the packs, that would make it for a better play experience.

Fifa app is great but NEEDS player details!!!. Anyone would loves and plays fifa/fut often would have this great companion app. BUT anyone who uses the app that loves playing fifa KNOWS you cant bases the players on the face of the cards but by their details like agility, balance, crossing etc.. this info is IMPERATIVE when shopping in the transfer list for a new player. I like the app but cant truly love the app with out that BASIC capability!!! How can u run ur business market without specific background details???

Good app but a little buggy. I love being able to have the companion app for use outside of playing the game. I can set my squads, do sbc’s and open packs. Unfortunately, I have recently been unable to sell any players from my transfer list. Whenever I go to the transfer list, the app crashes and logs me out and then back in. This has been going on for the last month it seems like and there doesn’t seem to be any fix to the issue.
