Curious update.... I love the potential of this app but the latest update added some worrisome issues, such as disabling the dns filter every time you add a domain to the block list. Not good for people fighting spyware. Second, this update added a mobile api request every few minutes chock full of malware and spyware and Trojan downloaders, some of which have already been traced back to some pretty widespread malicious networks. A lot of stalking victims rely on this app. Do better, fellas.

Power-User Features. This is the most comprehensive ad/tracker blocking solution I’ve ever used (I’ve used many other “content blockers”... WeBlock comes close but lacks some of AdGuard Pro’s key features) The ability to choose from a variety of block lists has proved to be very useful. I found the best combo of lists for my needs after a day or two of internet use. The system-wide privacy module is great as well (the VPN feature). I’ve only enabled the three suggested hosts lists (might be overkill) and I notice that many of my apps now exclude ads (like banner ads in Pandora, Speedtest, and games). Best of all is the ability to see the log of what connections my device has been making in order to diagnose which additional ad/tracker connections I want to block. It’s also great just to see how many trackers I’m avoiding now! I’ve been told trackers slow down overall load times so that’s a major plus. Only downside for me is with the speed of the custom DNS service choices (which isn’t AdGuard’s fault). I was really hoping the Google DNS or OpenDNS services would help with response times, but I’ve found that sticking to the default system DNS option yields the fastest page response times, so I don’t use this feature. Overall an amazingly feature-rich application which I couldn’t live without on both my iPhone and Mac! Highly recommend.

Really great. Very reliable I’m always surprised how many ads there are on websites when I turn off my ad blocker and forget to turn it back on. I’ve been using the free version but considering that I’ve used AdGuard for quite a while I figured I’d use it. Definitely like the ability to selectively chose websites not to block

Great app with two suggestions. This is a great app, the dns logger is incredibly useful when you’re trying to nail down where an ad is being loaded from!! It would be a great improvement if it was able to sync (via iCloud) all of your config from one device to another. And the only other thing I would like to see as an improvement would be the ability to manage (delete/re-install) the vpn profiles the app creates.

Nip in the bud with DNS. This app is powerful and you will likely see that some of your applications stop working right away. This is a good thing. It will help you to filter out the services and companies who don’t properly respect your privacy and data and question whether it’s worth it to continue using them. Since it uses DNS the request is stopped before it ever starts, dramatically cutting down on processing time. You will find that there are a staggering number of trackers in the wild, and who knows where they all lead to at the end of their supply chains. With this app you will at least take a big dent out of that activity in your life. I was also able to apply to my wife’s phone using the shared app functionality. Highly recommended and worth every cent.

Only apple store security program I trust. Fantastic app, literally the perfect position when it comes to having a ton of advanced customizable settings/features without it getting out of hand like say Surge. Only two gripes; not enough group resources where I can see people openly discussing iOS settings and tricks. Secondly, the AdGuard pro browser extension has broken basically all of my web browser pages when it’s installed, and since I don’t have a token/account page on AdGuard because it’s a Pro purchase. I can’t seem to delete the user rules without them somehow getting backed up. I also wish you could set the endpoints for the vpn tunnel as well, get a lot of sniffers sometimes but everything else in the app is fantastic!

Great app for blocking ads and adding dns over https. Overall this app is very well thought out and has great features. The dns setting is great but does seem to show minor, but sometimes noticeable slowdown. Feature Request: please add a pin to the app’s dns settings. This would be helpful for parents that want to prevent kids from disabling the family friendly dns service. Hopefully Apple locks down the VPN toggle in the future too.

UPDATE-Working Again. The Adguard Support Team has fixed the issues Apple and Facebook have tried to stop. Facebook is the WORST app for clickbait and malicious pop ups. Apple should be more worried about that than an app that helps iPhone owners. No more popups saying "You're A Winner" or "Your Phone Has A Virus." If you hate ads, clickbait and malicious pop ups GET THIS APP. It has been fixed! If you have an issue Contact SUPPORT for Adguard Pro! I did and so far it has paid off.

Won't get past "Loading filters into Safari". Was using this app. Used to work fine. Now it won't even get past the splash screen where it loads filters. Restarted app, cleared RAM, and even reset phone to new device. I don't even use safari but I can't access the vpn settings now. Thanks a lot. EDIT: even though fresh install of iOS didn't help, resetting network settings fixed it. Then it came back. And resetting network settings fixed it again. So I just won't be able to auto connect to wifi anymore at this rate......

LOVE IT! Only thing I ever worry about is my VPN and AdGuard colliding.. Absolutely amazing!!! I’ve tried pretty much every AdBlocker on the AppStore. (For mobile use) and ADGUARD is without a doubt years ahead of the rest. I use it with NordVPN and have tried it with Norton Secure VPN. Both worked fine together under single tunnel mode. The only doubt I’ve ever had, would be if they’re both actually working fine. Both connected, NordVPN shows no signs of malfunction either. I also use both on my Desktop as well, since they’re both (NordVPN and AdGuard ) different and have + features on Desktop. I would like to know if the the security features would cancel each other out, especially since I already have Mcafee security on my desktop. For the moment I turned of AdGuard Security, and NordVPN Security. Just in case. Anyway, Overall! AMAZING!!

Easily the best Ad & DNS blocker...also open source. Like a lot of you I’ve used several add blocking tours, AdGuard is extremely through, well maintained by its developers and open source (on github). I can’t say enough positive things about it. Two bucks is less than a MUNI/bus ride ticket. Btw, incredible UI...powerful good. I only wish it could use iCloud to sync settings, custom filters, etc. BTW, I did like the old UI more but I’m slowly learning the new one. Thanks AGP dev’s!!

Why Change the GUI?. So speed is enhanced, but why change the Graphic User Interface? There used to be a nice, clear list of Standard AND encrypted Servers, also notating their location (Country or even City & State for some). It took me a day to find an encrypted server — I gave my data to the world in the interim... I can’t find a tutorial, though one was there after the “update” — Seems every time I choose an update, I loose both security and functionality — I wish I would have not taken the update that had Apple’s new 1984 restrictions earlier in 2020, not sure if I should have taken this one... At least it seems faster... Hope it continues and the “skin” is improved for functionality. Thank you for caring about privacy, though...

Terrible Software - Either Works Too or Not At All. I expected to install this app, enable it, and have intrusive ads reduced in number. On one particular page that was flooded with ads, there was zero change in the number of pop-ups and banner ads after installing and enabling the app in Safari. I attempted to individually block these elements only to have them come back once I'd gone through the laborious process of switching from safari to the app, then back to safari, then refreshing the page. I then made sure that all the content blockers for Adguard were enabled only to NOT BE BLE TO LOAD THE PAGE AT ALL. I determined that this was due to the "Adguard Pro - Other" content blocker. There is, apparently, no way to see what rules are part of that list. Even with all other blockers enabled, all of the ads still appear. This app is not only useless for the purpose I purchased it for, the interface is infuriating. There is no reason I should have to switch between apps when manually locking an element (that doesn't even remain blocked anyway.)

June 2020 Update Not Great. I’ve been using this app for a long time to block a lot of advertising and tracking domains. The previous builds have always worked intuitively since the app was straightforward with its DNS logs outlining advertising and tracking websites plus the option of custom filters that you can create. The most recent update (June 2020) really sacrificed a lot of the straightforward features and fluidity for “better” appearance. Not only did the DNS logging become more obscure with its detailing of whether or not a domain is tracking your activity, it also made a lot of the navigation very clunky. I’m not sure why the homepage now only has a graph (not sure what this accomplished other than looking “techy” for basic users) with DNS requests and average time. They should have really kept most of the features from the previous build by keeping the DNS logging/activity under one page via scroll and keep the settings separate. They should also bring back the colors of tracking domains for the DNS activity. Overall, the current build feels slower than the previous one due to poor UI layout and the loss of simplicity in tracking and blocking unwanted domains.

It used to be a great app. I’ve used this app for a number of years. The major “upgrades” have been frustrating, but I pressed on. Unfortunately, with this latest update, I haven’t been able to find a combination of settings that doesn’t significantly drain my battery. This thing constantly runs in the background even with background app refresh off, and I’d often wake up to an almost dead battery. A battery check revealed that this app was the culprit. Restarts, reinstalls, resets didn’t improve the situation, so I deleted the app and am now using a different ad blocker. The battery performance is finally back to normal.

5 Stars All The Way.. This app is in a league of its own and is not just your ordinary ad blocker. This app has a list of Free And Private DNS servers you can choose from. It tells you where the servers are located and what the servers actually do and the protection each one provides. This feature alone makes this app stand out on its own! It is a ad blocker with many options and controls. I can not say enough about how powerful this app is!

Best adblocker!. When AdGuard is on, I cannot connect to the internet at all. I had paid for this app and it’s now unusable. Using AdGuard’s DNS, I cannot connect to the internet at all. I even restarted the phone. The other DNS servers provided doesn’t block the mobile ads like AdGuard’s DNS. ETA: there was an issue with their DNS that was affecting everyone. This really is the best adblocker around because it not only blocks ads in the browsers, it also blocks mobile ads!

Unsure About Updates. The pro add blocker on iPhone XS seems to work for most adds but some walk right through it unrestricted. I noticed every time I hit the green circle ⭕️ refresh button 5 filters update. Doesn't matter if I did it 2 seconds ago. Every time 5 filters? Leads to lost confidence on my end. I also noticed it tracks the number of blocked add attempts. How big can this number get without auto deleting the count that most likely takes up space. It leads me to say I am unsure about the real effectiveness of this product. For example, on “Smart News” it’s still tons of adds and pop ups all the time. Perhaps looking for something more solid is now on my list.

Great program. I have used this program for many years. It has always done what it is suppose to do. I have used the extension on all my browsers. Now that I have iPad generation 7, I love their safari browser, but felt it needed protecting. I am glad that aguard is here. It does the job just right. Getting rid of the popups, the adds, and many of the intrusions. Keep up the good work, it is worth every penny.

Well worth the premium price. I usually don’t write reviews even for apps I really like, but this app really does make my internet viewing less annoying. Less cookies prompts, privacy prompts, pop ups, ads and even though the app’s best settings cost a bit it’s relaxing to browse and not be constantly bombarded.

Awesome!. This is a great product, especially in combination with AdGuard for one’s laptop or desktop computer. I’ve had occasion to contact the developers, and they were knowledgeable and helpful with a problem I was having. I got the feeling they really care about defending our privacy, against all the prevailing forces who want to monetize our data. Highly recommended!

Something went wrong. The app was working fine, then one day when I launched it to check on how it was doing. There was red text at the top saying "Safari Content Blocker is disabled". It was strange as my toggle for that in the Safari setting was set to "ON". I clicked on "check for updates" and an error popped up saying "Filters cannot be loaded to Safari...", so I tried to follow the instructions, cleared off the blacklist and cleared the selected filters, but when I did that, the same error message popped up and it reset my filters to the unchanged state. I ended up uninstalled and reinstalled the app to reset the VPN profile but when I launched the newly installed app. It stuck on the loading screen which said it wouldn't take longer than 30s to load filters into Safari but that screen never went away. I can't no longer access the app as I could not go past that screen. Quite frustrating!

No longer works since the last update. Update: seems like it’s working now. I uninstalled it and reinstalled from the App Store and I haven’t had the problem since! When I try to use the ad blocker it simply disables my internet since the last update. I tried removing the VPN profile and re-adding and it still doesn’t work. So sad because it was great for a few years and now I doesn’t work. 😭

Still getting the filter update error message in iOS 17.3.1. Still getting the filter update error message in iOS 17.3.1 Well, we’re still getting the filter update error message when in fact, this error message, in fact is an error in itself. You can look at your filters and determine they in fact, did get updated correctly. Maybe in iOS 17.4 this mess will finally get fixed once, and for all.

Stops updating when auto-lock comes on. 1. It stops updating when the iPhone’s auto-lock comes on (Battery saver is not on), so I am forced to disable the auto-lock in order to update 2. Then it takes a a huge time to update. And once updated it doesn’t remembers that it just updated and if you click on update again it will restart the huge, long time, updating process again!!

Does work but sometimes not sure what it’s doing. I love this program it blocks lots of harmful sites but sometimes I’m not sure if it’s doing anything but eat up resources and holding internet connections and ports open. I know just enough about networking to really screw something up but at the same time I can also recognize when something is suspicious. There are some days I’m suspicious but their reputation is impeccable so I’m probably just paranoid. In the name of security it does make some convenient links stop working but you can choose if you want convenience and your data stollen or security and a little more typing

Best money spent. Bought this app several years ago now and Instill consider it the best money I have ever spent. Using the Ad Guard features allows me to block almost all annoying ads. The element block feature is fantastic for cruising on Safari and getting rid of those annoying pop ups. Buy it! Research how to use it fully and you won't regret it!

Constant disconnects, zero customer support, after paying for this being pushed to a subscription. Firstly the app does not block ads very well even when it is working. When the VPN is enabled my internet is very slow or does not work. I can see the VPN logo flashing on and off on the taskbar as my phone attempts to access the internet. I’ve contacted adguard on their forums as well as uploading bugs to github and they don’t seem interested at all. I paid a “lifetime” license for this but they only seem to be interested in forcing me to an alternate product with a forever subscription. I’ve purchased several of their desktop licenses as well as this one and have been a local user, but after this greed I will be looking elsewhere. The greed wouldn’t even be so bad if the product just worked and/or if it was supported.

Keeps blocking basic functions. For example today it blocked the app store and the other day blocked discord. Not sure why it keeps blocking normal services then lets other suspect services through no problem. I have pretty standard filters and definitely all of apple is in the allow section. Not sure why the app store is being blocked. I go on the app and nothing is red. Apple is full on green yet it is being blocked. Please fix this random blacklisting of normal services.

Used to work. I can’t remember when I bought a permanent sub to this app, but it was a long time ago. Over time I started noticing more and more ads popping up. Websites where I knew ads were blocked were suddenly showing ads again. No amount of refreshing or app updates fixed it. I never figured out how to manually block ads either. I’ve tried other ad blockers and found the same issue, so maybe it’s a widespread problem. In any case, I deleted the app and am using the Brave browser now. It’s not perfect but it’s blocking the ads that Adguard Pro wouldn’t.

Abandonware ??. Unfortunately, this app looks like abandonware. After reading on their website about all this app can do and the warm fuzzy reviews on the App Store, I purchased the app. It works very well. Then I discovered an article on their website with this statement: "AdGuard Pro for iOS (still usable but currently is not subject to maintenance/improvement updates)". They could have been a tad more truthful up front about their current development plans in the description on the App Store. Let’s hope they continue development.

Adguard Pro. I had been using Adblock by Futuremind before I have had a chance to find out about this one. Be honest with you, I have never had any issues with the Adlock, and it was working like charm, till I get to try it with a Vpn connection. For some reasons I needed to use a Vpn, and once I did it, the Adblock stopped blocking the ads. It was kinda annoying. Adguard Pro has so far coped with my expectations. I haven't seen any app I currently use has any ads in them. Even if I connect to a Vpn server. So far, I am really impressed by the developers work. I hope that the team is gonna keep up with their hard work in the future as well. I suggest this adblocker to anyone who wants to have a reliable adblocking app which blocks Safari and in Apps ads, and wants to use it even when they are connected to a Vpn network.

Is great program and Adguard support Top notch H 🔥🤝. Have been using adguard for years. Not only is the product spectacular at blocking adds and more. But the customer support is always able in lending a hand too. In with either email or the Laden in with support. So for this I thank you all. Also make note you can also block adds in with other apps too so it's been definitely a win for me in with that and my personal privacy too. Thanks again for such a splendid product. Edit: as late has gotten semi worse. As well the app is a wonderful app. But lately is is and us gotten buggy like a hack. On other notes. The company and dns is the best out. It should work hand in hand with other applications.

Former glory. This app used to be the gold standard in ad blocking apps, but those days have passed. This newest version crashes a few seconds after launch…every time. I went through the whole issue where it just cut off all internet traffic, where it stopped working completely, all the issues. I’ve been using AdGuard Pro for a very long time (even use it on my computer) and I wish it would try to get back to the older functionality instead of trying to become something new. I’ll be looking for something else.

Simplification improved. Update mid-2021: Still lots of features, but now the tool is easier to use. I still don’t know what I’m clicking on, but luckily it doesn’t matter. Just turn it on and let it block all the things. Original review (pre-2021): It works well for months and then suddenly it stops working. This is so annoying. I want an ad blocker that just works. This ad blocker gives me so many options and buttons to click. I don’t want a two day tutorial to use an ad blocker. I want it to just work. Where the heck is the easy button for this thing? Why do I keep using this frustrating tool that I shouldn’t have paid for. 😔

Probably the Best Blocker/Filter Available. I found AdGuard Pro several years ago after trying several other ad blocking apps. Personally, I do not mind ads so much (except for ones that move or the ones where they are inserted in the article you are reading & you have scroll down to get past them) but what really bothers me is all the STALKING some sites do (I have 3rd party cookies turned off & still used to have cookies in Safari from Facebook & Google — cue “Every Breath You Take” by The Police). Since I started using AdGuard Pro (I create my own filters) which I can export & copy to other devices (e.g. my iPad & my computer) I am seeing a lot less tracking cookies in Safari. If there is a downside to AdGuard Pro it is that some knowledge of the “innards” of web pages is required. Please do not let this scare you off because you likely have a family member, friend or an acquaintance who can craft a filter for you. I know I do not fit the statistical profile (I am 71 & place a very high value on my privacy which means I took the time to learn how to create the necessary filters.)

Apple has to ruin everything. This app I was so glad I bought. System wide ad blocking was nice. Now, sadly no more. But within Safari, it still blocks ads 100%. It is still worth the purchase. I really do hope one day they figure out a way to bring back system ad blocking. It isn’t AdGuard’s fault that Apple has decided to make up rules just because it isn’t getting ad revenue from users of this app now. It however is a great app for decluttering Safari. No more ads in Safari at least :)

A GREAT & ESSENTIAL APP!. I had my first experience with this wonderful app on their other, subscription based version of the app simply "AdGuard" and ever since I've been hooked! This app is a total game changer! I, for one, have never minded unintrusive ads on my device, I even accepted them as a necessary evil to keep free services.....ya know....free, however, when they get in your face and demand your attention or acknowledgement in some way that's when it's not okay. -- this app helps correct that. You can even customize and refine the filters to fit your every need! Has an admanaged to slip through all your filters? Then you need only look at the logs the app provides and with a little deductive reasoning you can find the offending url and block it! I honestly can't find the words to express how amazing this app is, but I can say they could charge double the $9.99 and I'd still have bought it and felt I got more than my money's worth!

Same issue as Grayson with iOS update.. Just like Grayson’s review I’m having the same issues with connectivity lately after the latest iOS update to 13.4.1. I have tried the same thing like toggle on and off Airplane mode, switch to my other WiFi networks, etc. It will work right away as soon as I disable AdGuard Pro. I don’t know if it’s something within the iOS update or something AdGuard hasn’t updated on their end. All ads in apps are showing up now :-( I’ve also removed all other Ad Blockers within Safari and setup via VPN profile to make sure there is not conflicts.

So far so good.. Have had the app for about a month. Loved the fact that there is a setup video. Was easy to get things started and works very well. Also have it on my MacBook Pro. Reason for the 4 stars is due to the fact that they started off strong with creating a platform and what to do videos, but after it’s all set on your phone your pretty much left to your own welling. Due wish they had more videos and what the app can do.

2 stars… too intransparent, too buggy. This app does NOT give you an option to remove the VPN profile if you decide not to use the DNS service. You'll have to delete the app to delete the profile… that's rather intransparent. What's even worse is that it completely cripples my iPhone after a reboot, apps will not open past the splashscreen, Wi-Fi will not connect (settings app freezes when i tap "Wi-Fi"). When I disable the DNS service inside AdGuard, turn on flight mode, then turn on Wi-Fi, only THEN my phone becomes responsive again when using a cellular connection. Using the AdGuard DNS service will use ~10MB a month, which is beyond my understanding seeing as AdGuard Pro will only create a "local" tunnel and not route traffic through servers. The app either still updates filters on cellular (even though I turned that off) or sends/receives high amount of data when using the DNS service. The more I switch between Wi-Fi and cellular, the higher the cellular data usage of the app. Why?

“ UpDated” to Make Completely Useless & Broken. Now Just Useless!. Was Fixed to Make Completely Useless & Broken. Now Just Useless & Broken. Read Other Reviews written within the last month. Developers WELL AWARE OF THEIR BROKEN APP. Yet still play “ dumb” in comments / review section of App Store. Hey AdGuard Developers…You Broke what was a good working app. It NO LONGER WORKS. It No Longer works with Other VPN’s. You Changed Things in the App that Did Not need to be Changed. For one, put Safari options back into Advanced Page. You guys just seem to move things around to look busy & then ruin things that don’t need fixing. Stop asking for details as if your subpar work needs more info. You know what YOU DID. You know what you changed & broke. FIX IT. YOU have had this reported broken App for a Month Now. What’s taking so long to correct? YOU HAVE TAKEN PEOPLES $$$$. FIX IT! If you use this App in its current state you may as well “Brick” your iPhone & iPad. BEWARE!!!

So it finally happened.... Your app broke. Even though my Content Blockers are enabled in my settings for Safari as well as inside the apps configuration it’s no longer blocking ads in Safari as well as whenever I open the AdGuard app it bombards me with the super annoying pop up that Safari blocking is disabled and how to “fix it” even though I’ve done what it says and it’s still not working/annoying the ish out of me. I’ve tried contacting customer support and of course just got a reply with the usual generic links telling me how to go into my settings and enable the Content Filters in my phones settings. How convenient you guys quadruple the price with a new UI that is absolute trash. Thanks!

Battery issues, DNS, overworking/overheating. I've been using this app for a few months and it works, but the few times I've turned on DNS my phone would overheat while charging. The culprit of course was this app. I looked into my battery settings to see what apps were running while it was charging and this one happens to be the only one running in the background. I've uninstalled and my phone works fine now. It also does not lag anymore, which I was unaware this app was causing until it was gone. Services work, of course, but at the cost of overworking the phone to the point of overheating. It's not very efficient. It knocked down another percentage in my overall battery health.

Good but 1 issue. This is great app that does exactly what it says. The premium version blocks more and adds a vpn feature to block in app ads. There is just one issue, when the vpn feature is on, it logs every single site you visit and ad sites you didn’t visit. There should be an option to turn off all logging as this is a massive privacy issue. Yes, it is possible to reset the data, but it is better if the data is never collected in the first place. Hopefully the devs make the change. Until then I can’t use or recommend the app.

Really good, just one bug. I don’t do too many reviews but i really like this product. I considered it because i wanted a premium Adblocker. But I didn’t want to get sucked into paying a subscription to get it. I would definitely buy again. The only issue that i run into is it will randomly interrupt my internet connection when using the smart DNS. All i have to do is reset the DNS and its fixed. But if someone could look into that it would be great

Spent some time with it. After spending some time with it, I think the app is great and only suffers from some a few problems. The new update especially put it above the rest with hosts file/subscriptions feature and the dnscrypt servers. The major problem I’m having with it is that some requests can bypass the blocking when disconnecting and switching over to another to another network. Requests are also able to bypass the blocker when manually blacklisting requests in the dns logger. If not for this, it would be 5/5.

You can only block-No allowed list. No way to add filters.. This is an ongoing problem. For this app to work properly you need to have the ability to allow, edit, block as needed. The features of this paid app were stripped down to the bare minimum. As of right now the app only blocks. The filter lists all say zero filters and there is no way to add any, There isn't a allow list. Also you need to be able to add some form of filter. The app still works--barely. They have updated since my last review, but the problems persist. The developers know about this problem because they reached out to me through Apple asking me to change my review. In the email they said they were working on this app. This was over a month ago.

It’s easily the best, but that battery consumption…. Possibly more than any other app on my i-devices, this one has made the most impact. AdGuard Pro makes every online activity so much speedier and far more enjoyable. For its functionality, I wish I could give it 6 stars out of 5. But what’s up with the continuous battery consumption? AdGuard Pro never stops draining the battery. I use my iPad, for example, two hours per day. But AdGuard Pro uses it 24-7. Can’t they make the app do its background battery use only when the device is awake?

HELP!. Downloaded app 2 weeks ago, it says I have too many filters for Safari... unable to read rest of bottom banner message (I only have 3 filters set) or find any type of helpful suggestions as to what filters to choose for what. There’s 88 different filters to choose from. I’m still seeing tracker ads everywhere and stupid pop ups that prevents the page to be seen. Is there anywhere to get help with understanding what needs set in the settings? Will re-review once I get this figured out or end up deleting this app.

Dodgy. App isn’t even downloading properly. Can’t open it.

This is a great system-wide blocker. **Current version breaks Safari plugin for me so I’ve reverted to system-wide DNS blocking** This is an awesome app that seems to fly a little under the radar. Fine-grain control over what severs you’re blocking amongst other detailed settings.

Excellent. Does everything it claims to do and then some Highly recommend

RIY. To see what will happen 😀

Great product. Bye bye to adds!

This has been ideal. Ideal in its ease of use, ideal in its performance and the ideal confidence-builder in protecting me from risk.

Adguard. Can’t work out how to use Way too complicated

The app is great. However, the restriction still hurts, wish that the 3 extensions work around to have 150k rules would be implemented (as a pro exclusive).

Edgard, a good ad blocker. Blocks ads very well on your phone

Works a treat. Just supurb

Top content blocker!. Most comprehensive ad/content blocker available on iOS/iPadOS.

Works very well. Blocks literally every ad possible and encrypts your DNS traffic which helps avoid your ISP monitoring a lot of your browsing.

Great so far. Doing a great job of blocking trackers. Although I wish the split tunnel mode would have worked with my other vpn but it wouldn’t work together.

Too difficult. Just bought it and honestly will probably uninstall without even using it, the terminology used within the app is such that you have no idea what it is asking to do or what you are activating, can’t even find a simple option to turn on ad blocking 😩

scam take s down your internet. scam takes down your internet and doesn't let you refund

AdGuard App. I used to think AdGuard was great. Lately I’ve had No End of Troubles with AsGuard! It blocks all the Wrong Things: Even blocked the App Store 🏬 and Apple Care as well. Someone modified AdGuard to the point where I can barely use it successfully now, and most of its features work very Badly now If at all! (It used to be very good: but, “Why fix it if it ain’t Broke?!!” as Australians often say about a product which was once good. In addition to this functionality problem, the layout and format now are simplistic and unprofessional. I myself have fairly high mechanical aptitude, have used the Internet for years, but I find AdGuard almost impossible to use now - and it’s graphics are Woeful - a retarded Child could have designed a far better Version!👎 I’ve finally Canceled my Subscription to AdGuard, and deleted them entirely. I think they were causing frequent Connectivity problems as well, because since I deleted them, things appear to be back to normal on both my Devices.👌 I’m using AdBlock Mobile at present which seems OK thus far. 😌 I can also recommend SurfPro VPN to online users, but surely SurfPro Could offer a wider Choice of Cities! There is only Sydney available in Australia 🇦🇺, and only São Paulo is available in Brazil 🇧🇷. - Otherwise it’s a fairly good VPN. 👍 Their Customer Support is very helpful as well. 🤠😅 Robert.

Good but not perfect.. Everything works well in regards to blocking but I have an issue with the DNS server connecting “on demand” if I use temporary VPN configuration the DNS server will not automatically connect afterward and has to be done manually, regardless if connect on demand is on. This feature works fine with my other VPN configuration, just not the AdGuard one.

Nice. Works well

A free. Love it. Works amazingly well. You really notice if you pick up someone else’s device up that doesn’t have it. Only problem I have noticed is it won’t allow FaceTime to connect. I believe it’s money well spent.

Perfect System Wide Ad-Blocking. Basically the perfect solution for system wide adblock. Works well in conjunction with VPN. The ability to parse DNS hosts far surpasses other apps I've tried without issue. The only additions I'd like to see are implementing adding encrypted DNS settings via DNSStamp lines, and to select multiple encrypted DNS options (for IPV4 and IPV6). Otherwise it's completely perfect.

Excellent App. Thanks Apple, "Privacy is a human right" they say, then Apple bans one of the best privacy tools on ios. Too bad. Its an awesome app.

Not sms spam blocker. This app appears in search for blocking sms spam texts. Itappeats to not do that. I wasted my money.

Very bad and Not a good app for Apple IPad.. I don’t recommend to anyone to purchase this app, After installing now lm getting more then before. So frustrating and angery

Superb ad blocking solution. Adguard is a phenomenal app for blocking ads in Safari and also system-wide. It provides 3 different features to do filtering in Safari, and system wide. 1. Content Blockers (Safari browser only) 2. DNS change: adguard let’s you choose from a few different DNS servers that support upstream ad blocking. It works for mobile and/or wifi connections. Filtering doesn’t happen directly on your device, instead it relies on the upstream DNS server to have a good quality blacklist and not respond when your iOS device asks for the IP address for a domain that is on the black list. You’re subject to the privacy policy of that DNS company. 3. DNS Filters: Adguard downloads a domain blacklist file and is stored on your Before your device asks an upstream DNS server for the IP address of a domain, it first checks the blacklist it has stored, and if the domain is on that list then it won’t be able to connect at all. It works system wide meaning it can block third party apps from contacting known advertising domains, and therefore ads often don’t load. This particular feature is hidden by default and is only visible if you turn on advanced settings and use a pseudo-VPN profile instead of the native DNS option.

Others failed this one successful works thanks. If just works every time Thanks Jon

Not even worth 1 star!. I have had issues with this app as I have been trying to load The Australian to read and it won’t load. Removing this app as it’s a waste of money.

IOS Adblock that finally works. So many feature and the app works great after you spend 666 years trying to work out how to add lists :) in the end I did prevail and it works just as promised

Blocking all access. This morning AdGuard is blocking all traffic. I have it set as DNS and as safari blocker. I had to turn it off to access my usual websites

Exceptional ad blocker. Does what it says - blocks ads very well. That says it all!

Useless. No longer effective against app revoke

Please don’t force people to review an app. Normally I would have given a 4-5 stars for this great app. But when I am forced to either write a review or report a problem, that is just a terrible user experience. I would never use an app that forces me to do this.

Waste of money. Only works for safari. Don’t waste your money if you’re trying to block ads on apps (YouTube/instagram etc)

Excellent. This app is great! I would 100% recommend this app to friends. So good to see an app that actually does what it advertises and more! Great job guys!

AdGuard Pro 2.0. With the support of DNSCrypt and host files, this is one of the best mobile security solution. Kudos to the whole AdGuard Team.

Finally. Finally after a long wait, huge update has been delivered. Thanks guys for your great work.

Dumbed down.. Cannot find my whitelist. Cannot see a blacklist. Seems that decisions have been taken away from the user except for very general stuff. It works, it just doesn't work the way it used to and I liked the way it used to work.

Disappointed.. I purchased but after downloading and installing, it says it's not available for my iPad. No refund either. IDGAF anyway... iPad 4 v10.3.3

Great app!. This app is great for ad blocking and works as an anti-revoke This app also works flawlessly

Butterfly Girl. Purchased this app. not happy, still getting all ads when watch catch up shows on channel apps, which is why I bought it ! I did everything asked to activate it ... nothing, zip !! annoyed ...

Light-years ahead of other “Blockers”. Full control over all aspects of filtering and blockers ads and trackers.

Not working. Totally broken now. Used to be excellent. Updated to the latest version and now it is useless.

Family sharing option doesn’t show anywhere. Hi there, I bought the subscription of adguard as mentioned in the support that we can share it with the family but I don’t see any option to share it with family, please suggest Thanks

Perfect. Dont break it! Its great! So easy and customise able

Why has pro version been forgotten. Overall a great app, standard version has received updates and pro version has been left to rot

Same as AdGuard Premium. This app only blocks ads for Safari. A previous reviewer called this app “the perfect solution for system wide ad block”. This is no longer the case. That review is misleading and should be removed. This app will NOT do system wide ad blocking. If you have AdGuard Premium you don’t need AdGuard Pro, they are basically the same.

It works great :). No more pesky ads

Could be more satisfied. Definitely worth the money but I can’t be bothered writing more 👍

Not user friendly!. May well have the functionality that I want but I will delete the app as it is impossible to work out how to set it up - there are a couple of videos but you have to be able to follow them at impossible speed

Excellent. Great app with excellent customer service.

Essentially worthless if you want to use wifi. This app is actually 100% effective as it blocks the ability to connect to the internet so no adds can load. I’m sure there’s a fine program under here but I simply need to use wifi.

Perfect. Pleasantly surprised to see the new update when I launched the app this morning. Hard to find any faults with it now. Good job!

👌👌👌. Vraiment bon

Works well. Gets rid of most adds and other promoted content. A few quirks, but totally worth using.

Keeps the Internet Clean. I have been using AdGuard for years now to keep the Internet clean. Tip: If you also use AdGuard Home, you can keep using AdGuard mobile but disable it for your Home network. AdGuard - Protection - DNS protection - Network settings - Wi-Fi exceptions. Here you can set AdGuard the way that DNS protection won't work when you are at home Wi-Fi. But once you're disconnected, the DNS protection is On.

Works as expected on iPhone.. Would like compatibility for Mac M1.

This is legit. This app is a real app blocker for all users. It blocks every single app even mobile game apps. For more complicated ads in websites, you also have the opportunities to add user rules to block them. Recommend to buy it!! You won't be disappointed!!

Great app but needs a few refinements…. Hear me out, I’ve been using this app after updating to iOS 15 and it was very good at its time since competitors like Wipr didn’t have the same efficiency for blocking that many ads and pop-up but after a while I realized pop up were appearing but the page content would be blocked, and pages seemed to load slower (probably being a bit heavy on safari) so went back to Wipr and the blocking of ads was 100x better since last time. Also a lot less heavy on Safari. So unfortunately I stopped using the adguard but one perk of adguard is it’s customizable filters. If they could improve page loading and and blocking to the point i dont get a page pop up then i would maybe consider coming back but looking at the price difference its hard to come back. Hope to see some improvements in later update :)

Working again. As of December 19, 2023, the app is working again as intended. Great work.

Works great. Easy to use and works as advertised

Amazing. Worth every penny. I’ve had very few ads, pop ups and ad redirects since installing this. It replaced more than 10 safari extensions that didn’t do nearly as good of job than this one does

Only works for Safari. It doesn’t work for any external app.

Ios 14 is great. With the latest updates, the performance is incredible compared to what it was before. The ui has a dark mode now which is nice and theres also encryption on dns filtering as an option. It works really well along side my VPN app with no connection timeouts like i used to get. 👏

Does not block ads in any apps. Despite following the instructions 100% (I am an IT tech with 38 years of computer experience, so NOT a newb), all ads formerly displaying ads were still displaying ads despite conducting a hard shutdown and restart of both the apps and the iPhone as a whole.

Don't work at all on M1. Hope one day it will work.

I love the App. It’s very effective and efficient.

Excellent ad blocker and privacy control. The a fantastic ad blocker with amazing privacy control. A must for every iOS device!

Good support.. Developers that really support their app. Thanks!

Option to add manual host links. Where is the option to add manual host file to the filter? Default ones are not blocking all ads!

I honestly stopped using it until.... In the past year I stopped using Adguard Pro as the performance was just not up to par to my MacOS setup and UBlock Origin speed and simplicity. But with this latest update I’m very impressed by the speed difference! So much so that it seems better and quicker than my desktop setup!? Adding custom filters? Boom takes a second! Want to remove an object from a page? Boom good to go in sec sec - compared to last version where it could take 10-20-30 seconds... Very impressed by the update, fantastic team. Thank you, safari and AP are now back on my starter screen!

Safari ad’s only. From reading reviews I was u der the assumption that if I got the pro version, things such as YouTube ads would be blocked. Not the case, it will only block ads in safari just in case you came here hoping for the ladder.

Works perfectly!. Always the best at what it does.

Used to be the best. I’ve reduced my review to 2 stars. This used to be best ad blocker on iOS but the developer hasn’t really been giving it the love and attention it deserves. Safari protection is enabled but the stats don’t update; ever. Safari protection is enabled but many time the rules don’t work or the app throws a funky error and fails to update or it just gets stuck on “updating”. I’m not sure if this is meant to push the DNS or VPN solutions but it’s rather disappointing at the lack of quality over time. I hope the developers eventually address and fix the issues, if not I think it’s time to start looking for another affordable solution.

Better browsing experience.. Since getting the app I’ve had noticeably fewer encounters with random pop-up ads. It adds a nice layer of protection to my device and makes for a safer and better browsing experience. I would recommend this to friends.

By far the best one out there!. This app has really impressed me. The free version I was using for a long time offers great functionality and the high level of quality and performance made it an easy decision to upgrade to the pro version. I really respect their business model of offering a free, uncrippled functional product and having it prove itself worthy of buying.

Great!. Good for safari but doesn’t really work for in-app ads like youtube and others. Question for the developers; is there a way to setup the app to block in-app ads? I’m using the pro version in full tunnel mode. Thanks. Update Xmas day 2019: Great local VPN ad blocker. It works fine for 90% of cases. 4/5 stars because the app will crash when there are too many block requests. For example, I cannot use it with google news; the vpn is constantly crashing and restarting. It doesn’t block youtube ads, but I don’t blame the vpn. Google’s youtube ads are likely not blockable on an iOS VPN. I’m not an expert though.

DNS Protection. The DNS protection feature in this app is so good that the price is justified even if that’s all that was included. It is highly configurable and allows you to add new blocklists, whitelist or blacklist specific domains, and allows you to select a custom DNS server! Also supports encrypted DNS! Not to mention, it’s a great tool for monitoring your devices network activity to see what apps are doing. The user interface is also incredibly clean and AdGuard’s built in block list is really effective and I’ve yet to encounter any false positives. Not to mention AdGuard is open source. I highly recommend this app, and believe it’s an essential privacy tool.

AdGuard. Very good.

Warning to all users. Turns On Advanced Protection even when selected Off. After each update, advanced protection automatically turns on. Advanced Protection means: Can read and alter sensitive information on webpages, including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards, and see your browsing history on the current tab's webpage when you use the extension.

Doesn’t block in app ads!. I wasted my money for nothing! It doesn’t block ads in my apps and a total scam!

Great app! Be sure the DNS filter is on!. The safari Addon is great but its best part is the AdGuard DNS filter that works even on the Flipboard app. It also works on many other apps and it prevents ads from loading via IP filtering. Just be sure the DNS filter is on with the AdGuard default filter on.

The best ad blocker on iOS. Closest we’ll get to the legendary uBlock origin. Highly recommend to use this to take back your internet experience, don’t let websites treat you like a pair of eyeballs to serve obnoxious ads to!

Not comparable with desktop version. Desktop Adguard is fantastic. The mobile app is way different and does not do a great job. Many adds don't get blocked and still annoyingly visible.

Damn error update, come on!!!. Seriously, fix it PLEASE 🙏🏼😫🥺🙁 I did everything and I only got”error update”… Many many months ago… I think try for another app if I change before September 30!

Does not work anymore (have to use DNS protection). Does not block ads, and cannot remove YT ads. --- Support suggested alternative method using DNS protection, works now.

Is the VPN really working?. When I go on the Internet and I try to find my ip address, I see that I am not protected with a VPN, because they know my exact location. I add the VPN manually in the app, with servers information, and it is still not working. Can you help me please?

Great alternative to purify. I Purchased this as a replacement for purify ad blocker which now fails to block most current ads and tracking AdGuard is more customizable and has A list of trusted and well-known filters to choose from

The best hands down.. I use it on my Mac and Windows machines as well. It’s always worked great for me. Nice to see they’ve finally updated it and made it even better on iOS too!!

Mint. Works better than advertised

Excellent!. Better then the regular AdGuard!

Doesn’t work with DNS blockers such as NextDNS. Been opening the app every now and then to see if it’s catching anything but it’s always at 0 ads/trackers blocked. I’d like a refund.

VPN mode is not reliable. Very often internet connection would fail until I toggle VPN (DNS).

Most sophisticated app. Must have app with lots of features.

Excellent. Might add double or complementary dns

Connection Bug Making App Unusable. Connection bug has made the app unusable for the past month. I tried reaching out to the development team half a dozen times but never received a response after my initial inquiry. It’s sad because I had a good relationship with this platform for half a decade and enjoyed using the paid version, but I have since moved to Weblock and it works just as well

The multiple filters feature is really nice but privacy concerns.... It blocks 95% of ads and the anti-disable adblock mechanism works well. However, i hope someone can explain whether is it the same policy for iOS content blocker as the extension found on the mac App store regarding privacy/access to browsing history. The mac safari extension has two additional components: the adguard icon and advanced blocking, both of them can access sensitive information if enabled (according to apple). The remaining 6 components: social, privacy, other, ... do not have ANY permission to data access web page i visited. And so I’m only comfortable using those 6 only. However, settings for iOS safari content blocker says it differently, “....content blockers can’t send any info about what was blocked back to the app”. Although there’s no adguard icon or any other components asking for access, does that mean the same thing like on the mac version, where adguard just tell safari what to block and can’t access my private browsing data (like adguard icon on mac)?

Works great!. Had a little difficulty getting things working, but tech support was attentive and very helpful. Update: This app works so well that I don’t even have to think about it being there. I’m thrilled because it blocks many inapp/game ads.

Liberation. Could be happier to have something like this on my phone. The DNS feature is so handy too! I wonder if there would ever be Siri shortcut support.

works like magic. Worth the money

is this Russian?. i'm uninstalling as i think this is a Russian hosted app.

Internet is Instantly more enjoyable. Did some research, paid for the Pro version, installed and activated the AdGuard dns functionality and no more ads. This app has made internet surfing instantly more enjoyable. Gladly pay the one-time fee over other subscription services. Thanks!

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

AMAZING! But one small issue. I love this app and it has little to no bugs I have come across. Speed is relatively fast depending where I am at. The security is great and secure. The only problem I had was it was very hard to understand everything and I wish there was a better way to walk you through it like a tutorial.

Mandatory App in 2020. In the world of surreptitious and ubiquitous surveillance at every opportunity in the Internet and within almost every app constructed, protecting your data has become critical to everyone’s interest. AdGuard is our trusted partner in a Security in Depth strategy for both Consumers and Business. This app is outstanding and well worth the premium.

Dns filtering no internet connection. So when ever i change to mobile or wifi internet connection drops. Sometimes restarting dns filtering fixes it and many other times it doesnt had to restart protection setting toggled and tried without it. Same results and its getting frustrating. Might just stick with using another companies vpn with dns protection. This isnt a recent issue but one thats been going on for a long time.

WORTH EVERY PENNY. There a lot of ad blockers that block ads in Safari. I’ve used them. Not having ads in Safari made the ads I would see in news apps (like News360, Apple News, etc.) drive me even more crazy. The pro version of Adguard blocks ads in those apps as well. Amazing!

AdGuard Pro Changes. I really like the look and feel, plus simplified interface of the newest version, but I’ve noticed ads on some apps are slipping through unless I remember to check for filter updates, even though I’m using full tunnel VPN and AdGuard DNS settings on my iPhone and iPad. The same settings on macOS do not have this issue.

Recent update drains battery. I’m not sure what they changed but in the last few months I noticed my phone would be warm if left on the charger overnight. I look in the battery settings and AdGuard Pro is running in the background about 20 minutes per hour, every hour, 24/7 - totaling over 8 hours per day. If I leave my phone off the charger overnight it drains 20-30% from whatever creepy stuff AdGuard is doing for hours in the background while I sleep.

VPN is a country/region legal restriction. This paid app is doing away with the primary reason to purchase the app. Apple has abided to legal restrictions for certain areas and this app should not have to suffer from such rulings. Please bring back VPN access for countries that allow use of VPN access Edit: VPN on any select server destroys MMS on iOS 11.2.6 and above. This was a great app, and reporting a bug is a multi step process that doesn’t seem to get anything accomplished. I regret investing in this app and recommending it to over a dozen friends who I watched pay for the app in person.

The best ad blocker. I have a few different ad blockers for iOS/iPadOS. This is the one I keep coming back to. Not only are the lists updated but the developers work hard on it to keep the app up-to-date with features and fix bugs. Well worth the money spent. Thanks!

Great app overall. I’ve tried several ad blockers for iOS. Some will block only in safari while others won’t let you use custom syntax rules and black sites. This is a great app and it’s open source. I only wish that they would provide you with some popular hosts file websites to make it easier on you to set it up.

This is a must have app that cannot be beat for the price!!. I hadn’t put much thought into setting up a VPN on my mobile device, and upon installation the filters I had selected made me aware of the several trackers. Very user friendly and of utmost importance if you’d like to maintain online privacy!! I highly regret not having looked into this sooner!

Does Not Block Ad Choice. After paying the money to upgrade to AdGuard Pro, specifically to block Ad Choice ads in every app that I see them in on my phone, now, that’s all I see are Ad Choice ads. I paid the money to block this crap because I’m sick and tired of being inundated with Ad Choice ads. I have them in my GasBuddy app, I have them in different game apps on my phone, almost every app that I have has Ad Choice ads in them. This service does not work as advertised.

Excellent but use white list. You need to use white list for some of your favorite websites for ease of use. Be sure to read their privacy practices. Sometimes going from LTE to WiFi I need to turn WiFi off and back on due to getting safari blocked/can’t connect. Could be Internet provider- no clue. But then it works very smoothly.

Works really well and improves. This adblocker blocks all the ads I otherwise see in safari. A lot of ads in apps are also blocked. The adblockers also constantly improves. For example, the team recently added better blocking in safari via extensions.

The one and only app I will always pay!. First, the devs are so supportive. Even in the free version they update it quite frequently. I was very happy with free version, but eversince App Store eliminated all free adblocker with fake VPN-based I was so frustrated finding a working one. And I know ad guard never disappoint me! Thanks and keep this app up to top!

Not getting notifications since last update. Edit: a reset of the settings fixed this The newest update has blocked notifications from my news apps. If I turn ad guard off they work again.

Amazing! GREAT REFRESH! AGAIN!. Great refresh! THANK YOU for fair pricing and update policies. THANK YOU for not being one of those annoying subscription apps! THANK YOU for making a quality app that works and does what it is supposed to! Your developers are heroic!!!!

Works well.. Works well and one less subscription is always nice. Thank you for a reasonable one time payment. The only suggestion I have is to make the filters easier to get to. I had trouble finding them at first.

The GUI is trash. I just recently updated the app and saw the new GUI and as I was turning on the DNS protection I quickly noticed that it doesn't show which links are trackers/ads. Is there a way to show what links are trackers like you did in the previous versions with the color coding Red being blocked, Yellow being tracker/ads, and white being normal dns requests. Is there a way to revert to an older update so i could get those options back because it easier to eliminate ads. Please let me know if there is a way as soon as possible

Amazing ad blocking. I don’t have much else to say, besides the fact that you can block all ads pretty much from any app or game... it’s so useful. Can’t get much better. Oh and by the way you can customize what you block🤙

One of the best purchases you can make. This app is awesome and I am loving the experience. One thing that I experienced with this app is that when I go to my parents house and I connect to the wife the internet stops working, think that DNS requests are not going through. When I do manual turning off and on the addguard it will work normally. It happened only on that one wifi network all the time. The thing is that they use IPv6 and IPv4 at the same time... and there are no DNS option on router so take it for what is it worth But other than this one small annoyance all is great Good luck in future updates

Thank you for existing. You guys rock. Instead of having to wait for every ad on earth to finish loading and bouncing my pages around and instead of being fooled by those ads that masquerade as parts of a webpage I can just check something real quick on safari with ease

Why do I need a VPN? iOS 14 has a “DNS Provider” page in Settings.. I don’t want to use AdGuard’s VPN because I already use PIA VPN. When I disconnect from PIA, I have to manually re-enable AdGuard’s VPN to use their DNS. iOS 14 allows apps to set the DNS system-wide. iVerify, for example, lets you use their DNS without a VPN. I ended up using the app PrivateDNS, and I manually put in AdGuard’s ip’s and DoH address, then I selected PrivateDNS in the Settings app. Now my iPhone uses AdGuard DNS by default without any VPN. When I disconnect from PIA, I don’t have to do anything - it automatically uses AdGuard.

Speed and functionality has improved. I am a huge proponent of this app in its previous form. This is a good app that now works seamlessly again, the previous version was very bugged. Hats off to the developers for making this a good/useful app again after apple ruined it. Thanks guys!

Internet doesn’t work at all. In the last few months the app randomly but completely stops all internet in all app apps on my phone, it becomes impossible to use the phone at all. This app is becoming useless. I have to restart the phone or enable them disable airplane mode in order to make internet usable again. Sometimes even this doesn’t help and I’m left without internet access to to this app blocking everything.

Problem fixed. I complained earlier when this app quite working. Something happened when I reset my seething that kept the app from working, not sure why. Deleting and reinstalling it works great like it did before!

Formerly excellent, now only works on iPhone. I’ve been a longtime subscriber, but the last version that reliably connected was 4.1.0 on my iPads. Using any version after 4.1.0 on my iPad Pro and iPad, if I open more than one or two websites quickly, the app will disconnect from wifi and then *maybe* reconnect within 10-15 seconds, or 30 seconds, or not at all until you disable it. The current version is usually ok on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but it should work on all devices.

Why you took out advanced domain logs. Used to be very good right now useless used can check which domain visit, from that block some domain do blacklist, please kindly bring back old system that can block domain manually white list and blacklist. Thanks

iOS 17 bugs fixed!. When Apple updated to iOS 17. It broke Adguard dns filters, since recently the app was updated and fixed all those issues. If you’re still having troubles i suggest deleting the app or updating. You can read about it on their blog, which I find very useful.

Please bring back this feature!!. When viewing the recent activity list there used to be an option to add the website to a blocked list. That feature is gone now, I don’t know how to manually do that so I’m confused. Please bring that feature back, it was extremely useful!

Drains battery in background for no reason. This works week, but over the last month or so it drain my battery overnight while I’m asleep. I’m talking like 30-40% battery usage while the screen is off and I’m asleep for 8 hrs. Makes no sense and basically means I have to turn the app off at night

It’s great.. It does what it needs to do. It blocks ads and gets rid of trackers. My only qualm is the slow down my phone gets because of it, but it’s worth it. Edit: Devs, can you make this work for other browser apps as well? I don’t use safari all too often. I use Firefox for the most part because it syncs up with my desktop’s browser.

Safety and Privacy. I can only say there are still good things being built in life like this app. I can use my phone with peace of mind and not worry about annoying ads and trackers in Safari and other apps. I hope the app will continue to work like it is and be fully supported.

Blocks ads! No subscription!. No ads, and no monthly subscription, what's not to love? The developers stay on top of new features in the privacy cold war with advertisers, and scripts are updated frequently. My only minor thorn, in a lush rosebush, is that the language to create custom rules is a little tricky, in part because I'm not familiar with it.

Excellent. Essential to a good security/privacy toolbox. Needs a note function to remind me why I allowed/blocked a given domain. A log only mode would be awesome for troubleshooting. Some apps don't work with it on and don't show anything being blocked.

Simple & Effective. I’m sure this isn’t to most feature rich option but for me, it does the job simply and effectively without all the fiddling. I don’t mind ads but when I can’t get through a FlipBoard session without getting hijacked into advertisement hell, it’s time for AdGuard.

It works on IOS 13. I was having disconnecting issue like everyone else. Some reviewer here said to switch to full tunnel with vpn icon and click the restart on network change option and it’s been working with no issue.

Works wonderfully.. This is a great tool to filter a lot of the malicious and annoying ads the web has to offer, while offering some degree of anonymity in your browsing. It does slow down the initial loading process of some things, but it isn’t bad.

Works well overall.. This does block most every ad in Safari and most apps. Some still sneak through and I thought if I pressed and held on those ads that this would catch them and remove them. That doesn’t work but maybe I’m not understanding the process right. Overall works very well.

Does not do it’s job.. I paid for the pro version because I have the Mac version and it seems to work pretty well. The one for the iPhone is junk I still get pop-ups I still get ads when I’m scrolling it does nothing. It has the nice VPN sign up on the top of my phone to make me feel like it’s doing something!!🙄 but it does nothing. Just read an article a few minutes ago and I got pop-ups and adds. As far as I’m concerned this is junk. Seems like a cheap way to make some extra $ off consumers.

Filter update error issue has been fixed.. After the latest app update the filter update error issue has been fixed and I really appreciate the hard work that the developers did to fix the issue and now the app works like normal. This is the best ad blocker in the world.

Love Adblock. I’ve been on the Adblock train for quite a while and the iOS app doesn’t disappoint. The only complaint I can think of is sometimes you have to click around to figure out where to go, what to do, and how to do it but with a little Google and Reddit you generally find what you need.

version 4.5. I have been using it for 3 weeks and I use the dns part mostly as i don’t use safari. I have been using dns over http/3 doh3 with cloudflare or google. I am very happy that doh3 was added. now if you could add encrypted client hello ECH, that would be great. I just love adguard pro now.

new update leads to no Wi-Fi. the app auto updates and has left my phone useless when using Wi-Fi connection. I have this on multiple device I own and it is an essential app, the only variable that changed is the new update, which has disabled my iP11pro from being able to connect to the internet while vpn is enabled. My other devices w/o the update continue to run flawlessly. There is no value in a paid firewall app when you cannot access the internet due to the firewall itself. Roll back the update.

Amazing. Probably the best ad blocker for iOS and Mac. Just one question, why on earth does it just render my drive useless once in awhil??? It works about 98% of the time but that 2% where the phone can’t connect to internet at all makes this so infuriating There’s been no fix for the past year I’ve used it. Still have moments where I just can’t use safari at all

Not just an ad blocker, so very much more! The pro works with both Safari and chrome.. There are so many security settings, yet this app is very friendly and easy to use. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an ad blocker and an app that will keep you secure as well. Please give it a try, free to try. Free with Safari.

Broken. Deleted my blacklist profile and re-added, now full tunnel is working. Edit: Something is defiantly wrong with the full tunnels, I keep losing connectivity and can’t access websites. I’m forced to use split for now. The new update messed things up with the full tunnels. Edit: Sure, signing up now

Has been working great for me!. As I’ve learned more on how to use the features I’ve liked this app more and more. I find there are websites that want you to click thru updated preferences before they will let you go on to the site or have an annoying banner blocking part of the page. Really helps with this! So glad I purchased AdGuard Pro!

Makes iDevices usable again. I’ve been using AdGuard for at least 5 years on both iOS and Windows desktop and I’m perfectly satisfied. That said, I’ve been experiencing a problem where refreshing block filters never completes. They’re usually very quick but the last 6 months have never shown indication that they finished.

Tried all the rest, for me this one is the best.. Tried all the rest, for me this one is the best. And with it running in integrated mode (AdGuard Pro + AdGuard VPN) I see no reason to go back. Two issues: 1) Be sure it works with your antivirus (Sophos not compatible) 2) Your banking app may not connect with the VPN running (nor do they with other VPN apps (ie Nord, Express).

Good product and great user experience; however.... If you are using AdGuard, beware you may banned by some Games(e.g, Tap Titan 2) without reason. They said your are cheating and banned you and don’t tell you why; That’s ridiculous on my iPad mini 5 LTE. The only reason I guess is the ad blocker. Great! Thank god I never paid any penny for the game.

AdGuard Pro — adblock&privacy App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

In this version, we’ve added HTTP basic authentication for DNS-over-HTTPS. This is useful if you have your own DNS server and don’t want someone else to use it. There is a nuance, though: there are not many DNS servers that support this feature right now. But soon they’ll become available in AdGuard Home and AdGuard DNS, so stay tuned! Besides, we’ve fixed minor bugs and updated DnsLibs and Scriptlets.
