just needs a bit more support & a visual update. wish Blizzard would put some attention on this app. it’s a great concept with a lot of useful functionalities, but it being buggy and a bit clunky is what keeps people from using it. just needs a good visual update, some navigational changes, and the bugs ironed out and it would be an amazing companion app. waiting for the day they announce they’re discontinuing support for it.

I would like a talent calculator for all of the expansions and classic servers!. I think the app is incredible, the ability to do your tables while away from home is the biggest usage of the app and the addition of the auction house was incredible however I noticed that there are apps for classic talent calcs yet the only dragon flight talent calculator is on wowhead. They also do not have an app for their website which is mindboggling but if a talent calculator could be added to this app I think it would set them above and beyond.

Was so much better in the past.. I recently got back into WoW, and downloaded the mobile app to manage my characters. With this iteration, essentially the only thing I can do “view” my character, do missions, and “chat” with communities. Doesn’t have AH or talents anymore. Also can’t see various items that can be obtained. The app also logs out whenever not focused, so I don’t get notifications of community notifications. It’s just not efficient right now.

Works, but slow. Original Review, Launch of Shadowlands Update for the App: 2 days for the update to come out, old version unusable in the mean time. Install the update, and it turns my phone into a heater, crashes while loading or as soon as it makes it to the map. Terrible launch for the new app update, hard to want to recommend to others. Was very happily looking forward to switching between expansions. Update, 2 days later: The app has started working, not sure what the issue was on the day the update launched. Overall, happy being able to check missions and world quests for both Legion and BFA. App is still a bit slow and clunky, but the features it offers are a nice compliment to the game. Specifically appreciate being able to manage missions remotely.

Scratches the itch. I’m brand new to WoW. I like this app because it helps me plan what to do with my time and maximize the rewards. I can choose and complete missions while at work, and choose which daily quests and rewards fit what I would like to do as soon as I can get to a computer. It’s a great companion app that’s lets you see the entirety of quests to complete. 10/10 (although I’m a noob so take it with a grain of salt)

Pretty and Organized!. I love this app for the fact that I can plan out my strategies when I’m away from my computer. It’s a great companion to WoW without overshadowing the game. Super fun for a Type A personality such as myself! The graphics and colors are super well done and pretty. My ONLY gripe is the gears on the loading screen.... why don’t they touch!!

Always same error. I've been trying to use this app for a long time but everytime I choose EU i can log in with the same email as my WoW email account but shortly right after i click log in it says 'data verification' above the loading bar and seconds later i get a message on the screen saying 'not able to connect. Be sure that you have the newest version installed. You can check the realm status on the official website of WoW. If you have any further problems please check your internet connection.' How can i fix this?? I'm sure my internet connection is working well so what am I doing wrong? I cant even login to my US account. thanks for any help My device is a iphone 11 with 14.1 iOS and the app is the newest version

Not that bad. Works fine for me and does what it says it does, however I’m very disappointed to see a review stating there used to be auction house access and now there is not. Especially since there’s no AH in BFA or Shadowlands - it would be awesome to sit at work and be able to do auction stuff instead of spending game time on it. I’d give it 5 stars if that gets added. Also should add pet battles!! I need more to do while I’m at work and can’t play on the computer lol.

Must use English on cellphone. I live in Thailand, but the app works just fine on my cellphone. When loaded into. My wife’s cellphone, I always got “A Fatal Error” when trying to enter account name. This app ONLY works if your cellphone is set to a language supported by the app. Setting my wife’s iPhone to English allowed the app to load and work correctly. Switching back to Thai caused the app to fail again. Just FYI.

Cannot login (works now). I cannot login to my character it keeps saying I was timed out. I would love to use this app but it’s just in horrible condition right now. Edit: I don’t know why, but for a good month or so I couldn’t log in but the it magically fixed itself. Now that it works it’s awesome.

Time saver!. I use the app to do my “maintenance” on my characters before I go into the game. The app lets me get the legion and bfa missions out of the way much quicker than in game. I am not sure why they didn’t add draenor garrison missions while they were add it, though. I am not sure why there are reviews of the app running slow or not working. The first two days after legion was added, it worked off and on but the issues have been addressed and it works awesome. I’d say if you have an issue with this or any app, reboot your phone or reinstall before you slam an app. Thank you Blizzard!😊

Useful and Fun. I have had a lot of fun with the companion app. I have utilized the mission table on the app much more frequently than I would use it in—game. I have mined a ton of gold, mats, and anima; upgraded my alts’ gear; and earned several new mounts. It has been glitch free for me.

Love the Idea. It goes without saying this is a really awesome idea, I just downloaded it and I’m looking forward to seeing what good I can make of it. I’m very surprised there’s no reviews of this app except for one, so I’m literally the second one and assuming there would be so many reviews to check out in relation to the app? Either way I’m giving it a shot hopefully it works out, seems like something very useful to have.

Buggy, do not send elite missions!!. Keep getting fatal errors on the elite missions, the ones for soul ash/stygia. Now as I am away on vacation (no computer to login on and resolve the missions) 3 of my 4 characters each have five of their champions stuck in different elite missions that give fatal error and are unable to be completed (despite being done for multiple days). Do not send any elite missions if you cannot potentially login to complete them manually at your mission table or your champions have a high chance of getting stuck and becoming unusable.

I’m in an endless cycle, can’t login. I keep logging in, then get a screen that says my character is already logged in. I login again, and I’m taken back to the same screen telling me my character is already logged in. I tried it with each character and it works the same. This app was released without working. Who does that?

Been rough since WoD. Since this companion app was introduced Blizzard has put forth bare minimum effort into making it work for the player. When Legion was released players lost access to WoD content, when BfA was released players lost Legion content. Both of these earlier expansions are still playable. The content for them still exists, but they were no longer supported in the app. SL made a small fix to that, players could access the two latest expansions, but still not WoD. Now after the latest update Blizzard has made it so nothing is accessible except Fatal Errors. The app is just wasted space on the device now because players cannot login.

App Works Great. I like using the app to recruit troops and start missions. It’s easy to manage in just a few minutes at a time throughout the day. I previously reviewed the app and mentioned connectivity issues. After using the app on my cell internet instead of our spotty WiFi, I have since not experienced these issues.

Great app if used properly.. The 1 star reviews are nonsense and come from players who have zero understanding of this game. Let’s break it down. Then app allows you communicate with your guild and communities. It’s other function being you can access your command table to do missions. Why people hate it: 1.When legion came out you could access your specific class hall talent tree. It was great when legion was relevant but they did away with this function before BFA dropped and there was no reason to add it back because it was unnecessary. 2. No AH. While the AH was a great addition to the app they decided to take it down due to botting. Really though, this makes sense and nobody wants to be “that guy” who says they support botting. Use this app for its intended purposes and you will enjoy it. Keep up the great work everyone!

Buggy but so useful. Not sure what happened but for the last two days I can’t check my guild chat on any character. My partner had that problem briefly but it cleared up with a hard reset, mine did not. Also have issues with the missions showing visual inaccuracies. I sometimes select a character for a mission and it suggests they aren’t selected so I try to select them and it lowers the mission chance like I removed them. Earlier today an even weirder issue happened where the mission info shifted to the left and it looked like I had four mission slots (there were only three which is the max in BFA). I’ll keep using it because it’s the most efficient way to keep missions going (sometimes I log out just to use it) and for the dailies maps which are so nice!

Too buggy to be of much use. To be fair, I hadn’t used this app since Legion before attempting to today. It worked fine then. I updated the app, ATTEMPTED to log in, but was constantly met with the app minimizing before I could ever get logged in. If this is the new norm for this app (which apparently it is after reading other reviews), it’s garbage. Thank you for the thought Blizzard; a free companion app is a great idea for those of us that work all the time, but this thing is not a working app for most.

And then it got worse.... This app’s history is analogous to Russia’s history, getting worse as time passes. Honestly with all the negative feedback this app has gotten, they somehow made it worse. The app doesn’t remember your login, making it so you have to type in your password every time. Then, every time you login you have to authenticate your login. Then after that, the app doesn’t even load. Maybe more negative feedback will fix this mismanaged app.

App is absolutely terrible. Not surprisingly, this app is extremely buggy. It’s about a 50/50 chance, if not worse, that this app functions correctly. How is it so terrible? Log in issues, endless bugs with missions, and more. Also, another thing that annoys me on an iPhone without the button at the bottom is the app is hard to close sometimes and doesn’t recognize that your trying to close it. The best is when you have a bunch of bugs making it unable to even use the app, then you have to fight your phone screen to close it. I’m malding like a catepillar when it turns into a butterfly. I’m losing all the hair on my body and instead of a butterfly it’s a fat bald loser

I’ll give you more starts if I was able to play. I been looking for this game for years I used to play it long ago.. I got the app, I made an acc under blizzard but I can’t play, this is asking me to for a character selection but there is nothing to select of create and because of this I can’t play the actual game. Can someone help me what to do? I got the app in the iPhone and I also try it on my IPad and the same thing happened.

Could use work.. Useful for sending followers on missions. Would be better if you could use it while also out in the field in the actual game. Would also be nice if draenor followers were supported since that was the expansion that I really wanted something like this, but it didn’t come until legion. And as always, I miss having the auction hall functionality of the mobile armory app.

Logs out when you play WoW... why?!. Follower missions are dumb and a colossal waste of time, but this app, which can make them less annoying, logs out if you try to play WoW on your account. I can’t fathom why they’d think this is a good idea. I want to quest, not waste time on follower missions. And logging out while I’m playing defeats the entire purpose of this for me. Oh and the fact that there is no iPad layout so it looks like cockeyed hot trash on an iPad in landscape mode. Even if the layout was just to center the app letter boxed so it would show the phone app without the dumb scaling, I would accept that. But no, it doesn’t. They should have just made this a web view app, cause at least then the stupidity of device and app orientation isn’t an issue.

Great app. I love the fact that I can get on and check the auction house and see what world quests are available and even show my friends that wanna play my character, only thing I wish was added was a mail tab, mainly just for money so I could post auctions before work, check them throughout the day and collect before I get on, mainly to buy more things off the ah in the app. Other than that the app is great.

Works!. This app is great for two things: Mission Tables and Community chat. There’s some minor news functions, and the calendar, but it doesn’t feel like those are the POINT of the app. Missions are easier and faster to run through the app than at the in-game stations, and you can check chat anytime. The only thing I wish it did was show achievements in the app chat. My guildmates often congratulate someone and I have no idea why. I’d love to know whether people are doing old content, or collecting titles, or grinding for big achievements like TC8 or the mount collections.

Buggy and Broken. I remember when the WoW application was usable and useful for staying engaged with the game while not on your gaming rig. I get that things change and maybe some of those options offered by the app may have significantly impacted gameplay in a negative way but this current version is just awful. Sure, if you can get it to work for any decent amount of time you can do some things; guild chat, adventuring table but more often than not the application is so bugged it just closes after 5 secs. I constantly have to reload it because it just randomly closes. A company as reputable as Blizzard should really provide a better and operational app.

Great app. Bugs and glitches need fixing. Can’t get into my guild page. Deleted and redownloaded the app, now after I authenticate and pick my account, my characters don’t load up. I really want to do the new missions for my covenant while on my break at work!! Thanks for the hard work!

Completely Broken. How does a game as large as this have such a useless, broken, companion app?? This app was broken years ago and I figured I’d give it another go, and surprise, same issues. It froze first downloading the asset package. Then it wouldnt even log me in. Just stuck on the ‘connecting’ screen… What a joke. Destiny 1’s companion app from release day was so smooth and useful it became a MUST use for the best game experience. Why hasn’t Blizz put any effort into revamping this in 5+ years?

Sadness. Ever since shadowlands I haven’t been able to load this app at all. I can get the downloads, it’ll take my info, then it crashes as soon as that load bar hits “full”. By the response team’s history I’m gonna guess my message won’t get read, and if it does get read it’ll be instantly dismissed, as they’ve done for every major problem since the end of mop. Game is going to crap and everything associated with it is following suit. I’ve looked at the comments here, I’m not the only one with this issue but they refuse to actively try to fix it, not even TRY. They made their money and don’t care what the average player thinks till enough of them hurt their paychecks, then they’ll care. What happened to the adventure of wow? It’s a mount grind now. No one cares how good or bad you are, if you got the mount and a pretty transmog you’ve got better chances than someone who focused on the actual skill portion of the game. Garbage staff. Absolutely garbage. They will kill their own game by their own hands and for everyone else who’s been around since the beta- our hearts will break because blizzard does not and will not care.

Can’t log in. All of my information is correct but cannot log in. Hitting the sms option for authentication logs me out automatically resulting in me having to restart the process. The Authenticator app isn’t synced correctly to the wow companion app or something so it doesn’t see any requests. Ridiculous that I’m having this much trouble logging into the app with the app being as old as it is and being with Blizzard for years having the same information. Hopefully someone figures this out.

Fatal error?. The first time I try to log into the app, it always gives me a fatal error. It says “a fatal error has occurred.” If I try again, I can login no sweat. Would you be able to stop it from fataling out? It’s a little bit annoying. Excellent app otherwise.

Four stars for concept zero stars for execution.. Very frustrating that this simply does not work. Although the BFA version was clunky I could actually use it, now nothing. It does a great job of showing me the ad info during the loading, sometimes I can even get so far that I actually see a character or even a set of missions... any other actions after that and the app simply closes. Are they proud of a two star rating? Oh well, time to log in and take care of missions again.

Doesn’t work. Can’t seem to use the app. It installed and I was able to log in but it cut out every time I tried to use it. Would just go back to home screen and then kept telling me I was already logged in and then returned to the login screen. Tried deleting and reinstalling, turned phone on and off multiple times and attempting to log out and back in. Nothing helped. It simply would not work. Was unable to do anything with the app.

Does What It’s Supposed To. Like the title says it does what it’s made to do. It’s nice to run missions while not at the computer, and a must have if you play a lot of alts. Sometimes I’ll log off the game to do missions with the app because it’s easier than logging in to all my alts. It does have some issues with crashing, but usually restarting the phone (iPhone) fixes that. After a restart it works well for a good long while but eventually goes back to crashing. Overall four stars because of the crashing, but that’s easy enough to fix.

A fatal error has occurred. It’s the only app for world of Warcraft and now you need it to 2FA. There’s two problems with it that I always hope that each update will fix. The fatal error has occurred issue is constant. It crashes a lot. Fails to open it freezes. And the second is it begins to eat up so much memory on your phone it will wick enough gobble up over 1GB and more if you let it There’s no reason it had to store your activities locally when the game stores them anyway as they communicate app with the game in real time. You can fix the memory hog only by uninstalling/reinstalling periodically. This will clear all your bloat from your activities from your phone .. and magic they will still be in game. The app should just have a clear phone cache user function. Why the F doesn’t it?

Do you read these?. Unable To Connect since the last big patch that gave us Darkshore Invasions. This is useless. I have tried logging out and back with new authentication codes and uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Nothing. Don't waste your time until Blizzard starts reading their reviews and actually doing something about supporting the product they put out there. Like many others have said...would give it zero stars, if I could.

Very disheartening..... I’ve downloaded this app at the beginning of May 2021 and 5 days later I still can’t get the application to last long enough to even see what it does. This application is a shame when compared to the largest MMORPG in regards to functionality and support given the fact that according to previous reviews it’s still an issue. Blizzard needs to fix it or otherwise don’t even waste your time downloading.

Fatal Error. Its a great app when it works and since I dont have time to sit on my pc and stare at the ah so its nice to make some gold. Just keep in my mind when downloading this you that this app is a huge disappoint for a game of this magnitude. You will have nightmares of Fatal Error and a picture of the background engrained because you will spend more time seeing that than actual use of the app.

How has this app gotten worse over the years?. I used to use this app all the time when the auction house on it was a thing. Never really understood why they took that away. Now I’ve been trying to use it for BfA, and although it’s always been somewhat buggy, now it won’t even allow me to download their latest update, and I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro on WiFi. The app keeps crashing while trying to update. Sad that their stuff just continues to go so downhill. I really hope they put their best effort into shadowlands, because it’s pretty much going to be make it or break it for them.

Blizzard is scam. Do not get their Authenticator if you have to get it replaced they will absolutely scam you. My phone broke with Authenticator I’ve sent over 20 tickets in now, I’ve been charged 2 wow subscription for 4 months that I can’t cancel and my bank wants to charge me for to cancel, blizzard support just keeps sending me the same email saying they’ll fix it and for me to log in and guess what that REQUIRES MY AUTHENTICATOR, I’ve told them every ticket I can provide my ID or any information and they just keep sending the log in email. I am so sad I have been a customer of this company for over 2 decades and I will never play another one of their games. I am now having to drive to the city to close my bank altogether and get a new bank to resolve this issue. I will make my story known everywhere blizzard you seriously screwed up just to rip someone off a few months lol.

Can’t even get past the homepage. I used to use this app just to manage some things from my phone when I was away from the computer. I went to login to it for the first time in quite a while and it won’t even let me past the homepage now. All I can do is login but it gives me access to NOTHING ELSE. I just see a welcome screen with my only options being to log in. It’s gone from being mildly helpful to literally COMPLETELY useless. With all the money we spend for this game, we should at least get an app that SORT OF works.

Screen Size!. It does the job. It passes. It has some bugs but Blizzard is known for that at this point. I really don’t care, just bring back the full screen. In this recent update, the screen ratio became that of an iPhone 8 and I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. This wasn’t like this before this update. This a quality of life improvement that would mean another star on this review.

Buggiest SW Ever. I get the feeling that this software was rushed into release without adequate testing: It crashes more than 50% of the time when I try to switch screens or modes. I’m not a GUI expert but I’d think that the interface handler be able to handle this, given the limited number of possibilities. I’d also like to be able to see the amounts on the bonus rolls in order to make my decisions but I’m afraid I’d crash the program yet again when trying check the amounts. Flaws aside, the program is very useful for running missions without having to log into the game and visit Boralus.

Clunky. Useful though... when it works.. For some reason it’s really hard to swipe up and minimize this app on my iPhone. It keeps trying to select something on screen or hangs in the viewport unable to minimize. The screens don’t really feel cohesive with each other which makes the app feel somewhat clunky, but the use of the app outweighs this uncomfortableness. Currently I cannot use the app because it blocks me saying there is an update, but when I go to the App Store there is no update available. :/

Overall great improvements longterm. Short term, the AH is bugged. I went to buy progenitor essentia which shows at 1s and the mobile AH let me buy them. Just not for 1s and didn’t show me that I’d be spending 50k gold. I tested this a bit (at my expense). I was able to buy essentia that showed for 1s for prices anywhere from 100g-5000g. That’s a big gap and nowhere does it say. Really would appreciate the bug being fixed or AH disabled.

The worst App on iOS. I joined back WOW two years later and I am highly disappointed with this app, it’s a same old app now even more bugs. Blizzard if you can’t handle mobile application please outsource it and please don’t annoy customers. The mobile basic functionality is TAP not Drag and Drop, in shadowlands mission tap of the follower won’t work. It take more than 30 per character on mobile however on PC it’s way faster. Make a new menu for expansion change on the screen so the single tap could change it not the 3 line confusing menu. Missions take a lot of time when completed, we have to see every mission result there must be a SKIP or SHOW ALL RESULTS BUTTON. Great for what it is.. First off, let me start by saying this is not a perfect app. The largest purpose of this app, to me, is to be able to remotely log into the game and send your followers out on missions for various rewards. These missions require different amounts of time to complete. I don’t get to play every day, so being able to log in for a few minutes and send the followers out on missions that only take a few hours to complete is very convenient. If you’re wanting to be able to complete as many missions as possible in the time you’re not logged into the game, this app is perfect. As for the other uses, guild chat, calendar, etc. I’m sure they’re fine and could use improvement. The app is free and it does its main purpose very well.

Diminished quality. Currently stuck at login with inability to see my characters or their stats. Even when you can login fully, opening character view can be hit or miss. Sometimes you can’t exit it. Miss the days when you could do a 3D view of your character too. App has a lot of potential but so frustrating to use

Having to delete and reinstall the App. It connects first few times but eventually I hit the forever trying to connect bug. Please release a new update to fix this bug.

Update. Just like last year, if your going to force an update to play make sure you have the update available. You’d think a billion dollar gaming company could get it right but they keep repeating the same mistakes each time. Poor show guys u can do better.

Literally the worst. Don’t understand how billion dollar company can make such a bad app lol

Bugged since latest update. This app was fantastic up until the last update. Now every time I open the app (even without shutting down) it is 'Unable to Connect' and I have to go through the complete login process, including typing out email/password and authenticating login through the mobile account Authenticator. I never had to do these steps after I initially logged in to the app, back when I downloaded it prior to the latest update. If this is login issue is fixed, the app easily gets 5 stars for convenience with class missions.

Broken in the latest update. Sound effects remain on with Enable SFX unchecked. You are unable to switch between all of your characters as mentioned in another review. I’m hoping Blizzard fixes this even though the current expansion only has a few more weeks. This app will still be useful for levelling unless the new app also provides Legion functionality.

Add Draenor Mission Table. This is good for its purpose, maintaining missions over various expansions while away from the computer, but it would be good if it also included the draenor mission tables, as that is when the concept of missions began. It makes no sense to include every other expansion, but leave it out.

Should be better by now. Buggy and laggy, but usefully in the sense that players can send out npcs for missions like previous xpacs. I cannot get access to my guild and officer community chats which is frustrating, this app should be better all things considered.

Dont like to be disheartening but.... Download and updated the app. Try to log on and get returned to the home screen. I dont like to rubbish wow but unfortunately the app needs a major overhaul. I found the old app which had buy and sell functionality of the AH very convenient. Hopefully Blizzard addresses the bugs with this app soon. The game needs some TLC as does this app. Thanks.

WoW Armory was better than this.. Just like Blizzard itself, this app is in shambles. WoW Armory was a much better iOS app than this junk.

Why no WoD garrison missions?. The app works much better now, and it’s great that you’ve incorporated both Legion and BfA missions. But there’s still no garrison missions? Once this is included I can give you a 5 star review. Thanks

Brilliant. Love the app have had issues in the past. Work fine especially when I'm away for several days I can collect resources and open them up when I return home.

Garbage ! cannot login. Play the game fine. But this mobile app can not log me in and any device I throw at it!

4 star. The development and implementation of sell is good, please make it so mail box can be collected and make it so we can do mission tables that give missions for resource so we don’t have to go farm resource like WOD do, this will be my way of unlocking certain races like legion and BFA but I don’t want to go back out and farm order resource or war resources. Otherwise the app is getting much better. Fix these things please

So much more needed. You still charge people for expansions but don’t have Draenor missions (they will never happen now) and the auction house and mail would be great but again, they’ll never happen either. Haven’t got alts to the level where I can use this app for shadowlands effectively so 2 stars for you.

Doesn’t work. When opening the app it says I need a “newer version”. No such newer version available and just runs in a loop...

Disappointing. While nothing is...wrong with what it offers, it’s very disappointing that it only allows you to view the current expansion’s missions. I still have characters finishing class order hall quests, garrisons have so much stuff to gather and make money off. There was just so much potential for this app to be able to help you keep those going - instead it’s only BfA which has arguably the least interesting mission reward anyway.

What on earth were they thinking?. This feels like an app a high school kid with decent coding skills would put together. Come on Blizzard. Either do it properly or just avoid the embarrassment.

Fantastic, has some bugs, to be expected.. What a fantastic addition to the game, not having to travel all the way back to the Maelstrom to complete my missions and change companions. One thing I found is that when I exit the app it shows up with a notification saying that research is complete for something that isn't actually complete for another 3 days. Otherwise, couldn't be happier, such an upgrade from the WoD garrison missions. 5/5 :)

Wow companion. I can’t login to the companion app, it keeps going back to login even after authentication with battle net. It keeps saying that I’m logged in n I don’t get to the other parts of the app like the auction house etc.

This indeed is a great App.. However I would like to see a landscape mode for Blizzard Apps. Not everyone uses a phone at home away from their computer, and I personally prefer to use an iPad in bed, or relaxing while not playing Warcraft. Just a small request for this and the Authenticator. Just works!. Works just as intended and allows me to keep the missions going without visiting the order hall. I love that feeling when I login after being out all day and get 1000+ AP it really helps me not fall behind when I take breaks! Thanks blizzard!

Insulting. Just like the actual game - the devs don’t care about this

In general great but. This needs an options screen. It's really irritating the way the app throttles sound from other apps while open, which leaves itself much louder than say the music you are listening to. Then you get totally unnecessary sound effects blaring in your ears

Smooth App. Nothing to complain about, I've had no issues with logging in the whole process took about 40 seconds to start up for the first time and each time I open the app it takes about 5 seconds to login.

Bit rough on the edges but works as intended. The app isn’t perfect, and I have run into few issues, but it does all of your necessities if you cant reach your mission table or if you’re out of your house and forgot to finish some adventures. Don’t expect to play WoW on this, it’s more for convenience. Oh, it also makes chatting to guildies a whole lot easier. Good app.

Poorly optimised and still missing features. This app’s redevelopment and launch were highly anticipated for Shadowlands, and it’s sad to see it still hugely missed the mark. The app crashes frequently when doing things like viewing the map & viewing your character. The community tab is ... bewildering. It shows a guild and gives the option to turn on notifications for officer chat and guild chat, but nothing else is showing? No chat features, no way to see who’s online or anything of that sort. The app itself looks like a child said “make it as pretty as possible with as many graphics as we can squeeze in”. It’s not functional at all.

Potential. Of course is nice to have these days an app on the phone that works smoothly and get so many things with it. I hope it will be completely reworked and user friendly + good experience + nice features

I like it but.... Would be awesome if there was a way to earn resources through a clicker type game or puzzle, mobile fight simulator etc... Ill be away for 4 weeks away from my PCs and mac so it would have been awesome to maintain 4 weeks of missions while i am away. The xp from missions would mean i come back and my toon isnt so far behind all my friends...

Update. If you are going to need an update to use an update to use the app, make sure it’s ready to go (even through the regulatory things) before the day you force people to use it. Having people to wait for the update is like saying ‘ here is you chair but you cannot sit in it yet’

Add Previous Mission Boards!. Not a bad ap, but would really love it if we had access to the mission controls from previous expansions, as well as the ability to view the WQs currently available in previous expansions. It seems a little sad to me to completely write off those aspects of previous expansions, just because they aren’t current? I still do the missions in both WoD and Legion and would love it if I could do so from the ap. Thanks!

Pet battles on app. I’ve always been interested in wow pets but there’s no point playing it when you’re logged on your main character doing other things. If they put it on this app I think it’ll be a great idea. Have a ranked queue and casual queue. Maybe even a 8 player elimination mode to play with friends or 2v2.

Same issues. Like many others have mentioned it’s ok when it actually works makes it convenient when not in front of your pc. Unfortunately it constantly suffers from the same issues: 1. Login is annoying when Authenticator app is on same phone. Sure you can avoid it by choosing to login via sms protect instead but bit of an oversight on blizzards part. 2. Consistent unable to connect message. Can login see char selection screen but no matter the char you select gets stuck loading eventually saying unable to connect. 3. Functionality is lacking a bit. Although I don’t overly need the previous expansion content I don’t see why they can’t keep it as an option in the app to switch to say legion class hall or wod garrison if you wish to do those missions still.

Unusable.. Keeps telling me to check for the latest update but there’s no update, can’t log in anymore. Fix yo’ stuff.

App crashes on opening since Wednesday. I just leveled my table to 3 too. Typical. My phone is fine, everything is fine but this app. As soon as I load in I get returned to my Home Screen. Idiots.

Missed opportunity. This app could set the standard for companion apps for one of the GOAT games, but regular players largely ignore it because it offers so very, very, very little.

Works but has bugs. Works fine for the most part. Missions, training, etc. Bugs: Push notifications roughly every 10 minutes telling me my illidari adepts have completed. (It's not always illidari adepts, it seems to be whatever was last completed - be it mission, research, training, etc). I get logged out every so often requiring re authentication (I have a static IP, so it can't be an IP address change, as I don't use it outside of my house). Features it lacks and would be better if it had: You cannot be logged in to the companion app and in game at the same time. The missions in progress tell you the time the mission takes, but not the current remaining time on that mission. [edit: this is temperamental, and doesn't seem to work all the time so it should be under bugs too] When a mission is complete and claimed in the companion app, the reward is placed in your inventory on your character. It would be much better if the item was delivered to your characters mailbox with a note saying what mission it is a reward from.

Already logged in?. So what’s the actual point of this? I click my character and I’m told I’m already logged in, then it just restarts the login process!

Makes a deal breaker for the game into something fun while offline. Soooo, this has its bugs, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. That being said I was heartbroken when I saw the command table pop up in the order hall, and was almost disappointed enough to consider leaving the game again two days into the expansion. I'm not sure why, but doing the table missions on my phone outside the game is almost fun as opposed to soul destroying, and I barely even have to acknowledge the damned table ingame which I a VERY GOOD THING. It's a Game Saver for me, with a game that is on its final chance 3 times over.

How did you go backwards. This app had more functionality 10 years ago. How did you go backwards? There’s also no support for classic.

Content Unavailable. If I could give this app -5 stars I would. It doesn’t even recognise I’m a subscriber and all I get is “content unavailable.” My 2 year old could make a more functional app.

Great!. A great idea that works really well. I haven't had any of the bugs others are mentioning. The only thing I would like added would be the ability to get push notifications for more characters than the last one you were logged into, with a character name on the notification. Managing 6 level 110s is difficult with notifications from only one.

2 major additions need to be made to up this to 5. 1. Landscape Mode. This needs to happen. For people with big fingers like me (especially males) who use iOS devices, we have enough trouble as is with most apps. This would be a saving grace. 2. The Downloading section when the app is installed needs to be optimized better and faster. It's ludicrously slow.

Looks Great But.... Visually it looks great, but in terms of functionality, no! I can’t even view my characters stats on the character tab. The map screen doesn’t show any information. A pointless app with so much lost potential.

Great app. It’s a great app very useful in all areas of wat it does, but I wish there was a feature that allowed the people to access their auctions, I don’t mean being able to manipulate ur auctions or change things, I just mean if I was able to see what auctions I had active and wat has sold would be an amazing feature.

Wow companion. What a crappy app. Even on 5G or in wifi, Guild chat fails to load all the time. View fails to load all the time. Auction house is never works. It’s just a complete dumpster fire of an app. If it wasn’t attached to a great game, I’m convinced it would never get downloaded. Just don’t even bother

Broken. Cant get past character select, nothing shows up

Requires Update to use but no update available. Seriously, if this app was not tied to a PC title. It would be long dead. Activision has enough titles out on mobile to offer these devs support to have content available when needed. This is nothing short of poor planning. Do better… This clearly under valued app could be such a revenue generator on its own and an in-game store sales. L2M… Learn to monetize!

Doesn’t work. Since the recent update it crashes upon “add character”

Can’t even load my character. I love the game but this app is garbage, I input all my info and Battle.net correctly and it still tells me that no characters found in Americas & oceanic region. My character is in the americas region so I don’t understand why it won’t work.

Too much data. This app will use way too much data than it should be

Terrible App. App keeps telling you to update. You update the app and then it tells you to update over and over again. Terrible app that is based around a system in game that is supposed to be done through this app.

Buggy. Unable to view character to examine, what a fail I thought this was fixed I guess not, I'm not paying for wow til fixed.

Guild chat never loads. Hasn't worked throughout shadowlands. I don't know what the developers of the app are doing. Guess they only have UX people.

Legion Crashes. I find BfA side works ok, but the Legion side crashes (and boots me out of the app a lot). This happens regardless of heather I’m trying to receive rewards form completed missions, send followers on missions or try to switch back over to the BfA side of the app. Hope this problem gets fixed in the next update

Crashing. Crashes on iPhone 6 when attempting to load a character

Not working. The game just keep closing by itself.

Pretty poor. This app is good for running your champions on Legion or BFA but it always crashes when you try and read the simple news that is provided at the start of login all you get are the turning gears and you were never routed to the actual page.

Unusable on ipad air. This last update just keep crashing everytime during the load. 4 weeks now and still no fix. It use to work perfectly find before this last update (should I say downgrade?)

Crashes. App keeps getting fatal exception when I try to use it. Can’t run legion missions at all.

It doesn’t work. It only shows one page and doesn’t do anything like give you the option to access the guild chat. The only option I see is to log in and log out and all it shows is a welcome back sign.

Completion Bug. Mission bug makes it unable to complete missions. The only way to complete them is to go play World of Warcraft in order to finally complete them.

Easy mission table access. Pretty nice I use it for all my alts through various expansions to do easy missions for gold or resources. Also nice peak at which world quests are up.

Alright app. Clunky, would be nice a revamp for the app, compared to any other app it feels like app for old phones. It isn’t optimized for nowadays phones which is a shame since is the only app you’re allowed to use if you want a mobile AH or farm something on your table.

Does blizz even care? I guess not.... Poorly made. Always ask me to update the app when I did the update and when I connect they tell my character are offline can’t login then it boot me out of the apps

Slow to fix bugs. It seems like every time Blizzard comes out with a major update the app gets buggy for months afterwards. The app opens starts loading content and crashes. Then eventually the problem is fixed until the next major update. This is currently applicable to iOS 12.5.1 on an iPhone 6.

It’s fine.. The app consistently works for me (and I only had to log in once when I first used it). It’s nothing amazing, but I like using it to complete missions from the mission table in Shadowlands. After fixing some bugs that are affecting other users, I would love to see some more features like the ability to transmog within the app or fight with battle pets.

Does not load characters list. Im able to authenticate and select my account but the application does not load any characters. This app is useless at the current time. Please dev team, give it some love!

Decent in theory. This is a decent app in theory. Crashes often and doesn’t support WOD, pretty weird to leave an entire expansion off this list, and definitely drops the usefulness of your leveling through WOD

Don’t get if you don’t love and/or play a lot. The thing that always makes me want to kill myself about WOW is that you NEED a subscription or else you can’t play the mobile game and if you get a chariot or to level 100 in the game it throws you all the way down to I think roughly level 25ish

Update ideas. Hello i love this app but i have an idea for the next update you can play world of Warcraft via the app here’s how to do it first copy the coding to the wow app then do some minor changes for example switch the wasd to a move circle hope you like my my idea bye

Great App for on the go!. I love that I can continue my adventure table in SL’s on this. Its actually easier and quicker (if you have alts as well) to just complete and start new adventures than in-game. I use the app every day before I log in just to do that. Saves me like 20mins. And then once your in-game your bags are already full of all the loot.

Pretty terrible app. Sign-in with Apple uses a web view instead of the native UI. The app can’t be opened while you are logged into the game. The app does not remember your login state so you have to log back in each time.

Worked before hot fix 10.0.5. This was a great tool to check AH and make purchases then away from the computer. However, after the latest update I can’t do anything but see the map. Any other option generates a dated error and the application crashes.

Demands “updated” version immediately after downloading. I downloaded the app this morning, logged in, selected a character, and a pop-up informed me that an update was required and to “please check for a newer version of the app.” If the newest version isn’t the one on the App Store, I sure don’t know where it would be. Useless at the moment, hopefully fixed soon...

One big bug. Great for simply doing missions without being on a PC... BUT Trying to switch to a second WoW account (same Bnet account) makes you log in again and just default to the first one so I can’t access my second with the app. Worked fine in BFA and broke with Shadowlands pre-patch update.

Doesn’t work on older iPhones. This app has really gone down hill, it doesn’t even function on older iPhones(iPhone 6 here) even with current software updates. Checked the forums, I’m not the only one having the same issues when it instantly crashes after login. Also, they really need to bring back the Auction House portion of the app!

Bare-bones functionality. This is a far cry from the WoW Armory app back in the day. I genuinely don't understand how we can go from such a well structured app, with full item browser/3D model viewer, mobile auction house, and daily/weekly integration... to this... It'd be better off removed from the app store, it's just another smear on Blizzards already tarnished reputation.

I can’t select character. I can’t select character :( Download all contents in wi-fi and log in my account but there is empty in character select screen tho I have 5 character. I playing shadowland on my computer but can’t use this app. It seems bug. Pleases fix... or tell me something how can I use this app...

Dont update the new update.. I updated the app to the current update and now i cant select the wow account i have all my current characters on. “Fixed various bugs and other issues” but they cant fix the issue that allows to select your account. Nice! Would literally give a 0.2 star if i could, useless app now if its not fixed.

This app needs so much work. This app is just slow, useless and full of bugs. You constantly get hung up in downloads. You can’t switch accounts at all, so I can’t log onto my main account, only an old RAF one from 8 years ago that it defaults to. Then it takes forever to log into the account. Please get this fixed it’s horrible.

Helpful. Helps me stay on top of my missions when I have a slow day at work. I never have to log onto my computer just to do mission stuff. It’s also fun that I can keep up with guild chat from anywhere.

need calendar related function. Now I am giving a soliciting suggestion: when I signed up activities in the game things like guild raid, I should get notifications from this app. also, all the activities signed up in the game should be viewable via this app and they can be added to iphone's calendar so that I can be notified prior to their grouping.

App Broken. How does a tech company with a 87 BILLION dollar market cap not have a functioning app for WOW? This app has been bad in the past, constantly logging you out, limited functionality, but now it just crashes. Fatal error. I mean it’s really an embarrassment of your entire team. Just scrap it if you all don’t want to take the time and effort to make it work.

Okay but bring back our auction house!. I used this thing every day I had to work to make enough gold to buy my sub every month and get some of my crafted bis items. Please bring back the ah!

No character found. Was able to log into the app and all of the sudden it logged me out and says no character found I have made sure the app is updated and this app is very useful when working right. Please fix blizzard

Doesn’t Work. Downloaded the app and when I opened it, it stated that it needs to download additional content. It gets half way then crashes every time. Tried reinstalling the app multiple times and restarting my phone. Triple checked that it’s compatible with my phone and even tried downloading on multiple WiFis. Nothing has fixed it. Garbage app.

Crapola. This app has become one of the worst and buggiest. Missions with 200% fail to award the bonus, the bonus item disappears from the mission completion screen, when completing missions they randomly adopt a random percentage or actually change on the fly to the percentage of another active mission, and always a lower one. Like many things on the App Store the goal appears to push out crap as fast as possible.

Still as buggy as day 1. App keeps crashing during latest update. Haven’t used this app since legion. Still having similar problems as back then. Also, Auction House made it so much more useful. But that’s gone too. And there is still no pet battle in app. I would not recommend using this app except for recruiting your troops. It saves you a few yards in-game.

Shadowlands is out but no update. Fine as is for BFA, but there’s no shadowlands update. Frustrating to attempt to do adventures after the trouble logging into the app I’ve been having just to see there’s no way to do them yet. Features are fine. Talking to guildies, checking the BFA assaults still are nice things to see.

If only it wasn’t so buggy.... I love the idea of this app and would love to see it expand further. I LOVED the auction... would love to also see maybe guild chat compatibility as well, maybe a way to see achievements, etc... it’s useful the way it is now but with all the bugs it’s a pain.

Fun but doesn’t show notifications. Hello developers the app is kinda fun but I’m not seeing any options under iOS settings for notifications. Whatever API you are now using isn’t working. I did enable them in app but have way to change them in iOS notification settings.

Great but limited. The app has great potential, but just falls short of being a "companion" app in my opinion. It's much less buggy than it has been in the past, however, there are strange things it does like chat missing, character not loading, etc. Doing missions is convenient and simple, but, with such long missions (2+hours easy), then it makes this a super basic companion. Having the auction house functionally really made this app what it was. Now, the functionality seems really limited and helps out occasionally if you've got enough in game resources.

Not up to Blizzard’s standard. Blizz has a great rep for the polish the put on their titles. However it seems that doesn't extend to their mobile apps. Just downloaded an update to the app and now it just crashes before it loads. Not even uninstalling/reinstalling helps. I’ll be freeing up the storage it is using up until the devs figure it out.

Amazing app for having alts. Allows for me to quickly do the war quests. Huge fan. I can’t login as of yesterday’s update. Are they going to make this not function until shadow lands released?

Update issues. The latest update makes the app unusable. Bug fix fixed my app from working. Hope the fix fix comes soon. Otherwise, I love having the AH features from a previous update.

Fatal Crash Error. For the past several months I’ve been getting a Fatal Crash Error when trying to log in. Usually, reopening the app will fix it. Also, occasionally happens when switching between characters or servers.

Not a bad app, but bad functionality. I like the apps uses, like guild chat and checking world quest, but every time i log onto the app it’s a pain, it’s a pain to swap between apps, it’s a pain to select a character, it’s just so many loadings and disconnects because i swap tabs for a second, if this was fixed the app would be 4.5 stars at least

Update is good. I'll always miss the 3d toon view which I think they got rid of in 2013 (Yes you loose a star for taking away a cool feature due to laziness) but it's cool to take care of tedious wartable stuff when ur not at your pc or before you log in

No SL content. Shadowlands has been out for nearly a week and this app was heavily advertised as part of the launch, but there isn’t a drop of SL content in this thing. I have lucked out and haven’t had the crashing issues that 90% of the reviewers have had. Mine runs smoothly, but without content that really does not matter much. I miss the old armory app with like 30 most recent achievements and auction house and actual content and functionality. Blizz reports record profits this year and frankly, this app just feels like them spitting in the face of people who are passionate about their games. Really hope they step their game up. Edit: ended up having to uninstall and reinstall to finally get it working.

Super bugged. This would be a 5 star review for the actual content of the app. The things you can access are amazing but I can rarely access them. Whenever I open the app it requires me to login, but it keeps rerouting me to the same page as “I am already logged in”. This needs to be fixed.

Can’t even see my characters. Use to love this app back when the auction house was a thing. Now I’m trying to use this app again but I can even get passed the character list because it won’t show me any of my characters...

STILL has same old bug. When reviewing completed mission it sometimes displays just a spinning wheel where the % points should be. It’s been that way for many revisions

Decent. But broken. Overall I like the app but for the longest time I can not click my guild chat. I am able to chat in my communities but not my guild. This needs to be fixed. Other than that it’s ok, give quick info to see what dailies are up and help keep track other than in game. Please fix chat !

Crash City. Yes, I’m still on iPhone 6, but if you can’t support my phone just own it. I’ve reinstalled and rebooted and confirmed I’m updated 3 times now. It pretends to work and as soon as I login, boom! The app has been fun in the past, when it’s worked. But I’ve never had this app work without some kind of issue. I expect significantly more from a big company like Blizzard

App crashes every time it’s opened. WoW Companion app is a good concept but if you can’t use it, it’s garbage. Forums posts have been made in large numbers on Blizzards mobile bug report forums with no response. These reports date back to 2019 and still, the same crash that renders the app unusable for so many users persists. I would be willing to revisit this review if I could actually use the app.

Good tool for catching up. I haven’t played Warcraft since the end of the first patch of this expansion (bfa) and the app and mission system helps me get caught up with some of the content I missed.

Still broken. Doesn’t seem to update very often, says I’m out of resources on the app but in game I have plenty, also doesn’t show the new followers I’ve gained since last played. It’s only been about 6 hours but all the same it would be nice to have a little faster sync speed.

Love it. I play the game all the time on my computer now I can talk to my guild members and friends on the go but I’ll have to be careful though be to sure there is no chat rooms.

Works great for me. It really works just fine for me. I have not had any issues at all so far logging in or setting up quests. I enjoy the functionality and not having to log in to clear quests.

Unusable. I literally can’t open the app. My phone is pretty new and up to date. I had to download the assets and then after that it just crashes after 3 seconds. Even when I open it it won’t stay up for more than 3-5 seconds before crashing. Tried deleting and reinstalling 3 times same problem. Actually just doesn’t work

Constantly Crashing. I don’t know about anyone else, but the app is practically unusable. I can’t even open the app without it crashing. And for everyone wondering, it’s even when I don’t have anything running in the background. The idea is neat but it needs a lot of work to be functional for frequent WoW players.

Having logging in issues. The last few days it’s been going good but now it won’t let me log into my characters as soon as I try it kicks me out saying I need to get the newer version of this app but I looked and there is nothing. Even tried to delete the app and reinstall it but still doing the same thing. I’ll give it more stars until this issue is resolved :/

Couldn’t stay logged in. Now can’t log in.. I downloaded this a couple of days ago and it kept making me re-auth all the time. Notably, it kicked me out when I logged into the game on my PC. Stupid. Today, trying to login again, it just keeps telling me I have to install an update before I can use the app. Only, there’s no update in the last 3 weeks in the App Store. So, at least for the moment, this app is hot garbage.

Step backward. The new update took a giant step backward in usability. Where it used to take one click to get somewhere, it now takes two or three. Why? Getting to companion missions was fine the way it was. You guys can’t ever remember the first rule: Keep It Simple, Stupid.

Terrible app. This app used to be so helpful and useful. Complete game guides, class hall missions, world quests, character viewer, not to mention full auction house support. After recently redownloading the app to try and do some things while away from home I found that the app isn’t even capable of loading without crashing. Immediately after logging in it just freezes and closes. Real great app. 0/10

App went from useful to useless. I miss the old days of being able to use the mobile armory and look up items and even other players!! Also, access to there auction house outside of The game was amazing for someone like me stuck unable to play fully. Now this app don’t have a single useful thing to use on it. Not sure why they would kill it like that? Completely pointless to use this. I love wow please bring back the old armory!

Excellent Warcraft tool!. Legion missions are very welcomed addition and now they finally added Draenor missions too! Would like the return of the mobile auction house someday…

Great concept but highly bugged. Like everything Blizzard this app suffers from bugs and fatal error all the time. Honestly I believe developments plan for a % of efficiency and won’t move to fix the issues. Phone reboot will solve the issues until your next fatal error.

Flawed.. Doesn’t notify when missions are complete (used to a few months ago). Crashes randomly with fatal error messages when clicking on completed missions.

It’s Not Pretty. One week after Shadowlands launch and my app still shows content from BfA. Nothing at all like the screenshots above. I can’t click on my guild chat either. Tapping the icon or my guild name does nothing. I can mark everything as read but can’t view any of the actual guild chat comments. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

Character screen problem. I mostly downloaded this app to view my characters and gear, but the character screen isn’t rendering properly and the app isn’t very useful to me without it. I tried to correct with multiple reinstalls and by viewing multiple characters, but none of this worked.
