Stopped working with iOS update. Used to be one of my favorite apps, but it’s abruptly stopped working and I haven’t heard back from anyone on the team about a fix. I’m a premium subscriber so this is super disappointing.

Fix Please. Autoplay function doesn't work the songs randomly "play" but with no sound coming from speaker. This happens with auto play turned off OR on. Playlists are very easy to create however they don't work for same reason. Half the songs "play" on the app with no audio over Sonos speaker. The app works great for individual songs however it's pretty frustrating to have to monitor it constantly to make each song play.

No longer works with Sonos. The app started working, upgrading the score to 5.well done, hope you keep improving the app. Quick question:- does the app use Sonos DAC to playback the music or the phone? I am planning to purchase ERA 300, so wondering if i would gate Amos with sonosTube ————— I have been using this app for 3 years, i even purchased it after the trail period, but apparently it no longer works with Sonos system. I hope Sonos Tube will fix this

No results found. As of last week, any search would come back empty: “No results found”. I can only play videos from my saved playlists. Please fix this bug. Thanks!

Love and sadness. I have used this app often and I really enjoyed it. For the last few weeks I cannot get it to work. I sent emails asking what’s going on but no replies, this app no longer works unfortunately.

Amazing app for Sonos users. I’m enjoying the app since I got the SonosTube system in my house. As of yesterday though I can’t download the app on my iPhone, so every time I want to play music through Sonos tube I need to go to the App Store and open Sonos tube

App freezes. App freezes after each song and a dialog box pops up saying there’s no related video. The message box contains a “close” button; however, when I click on the close button, it doesn’t do anything. The app appears frozen and so I have to completely close out of the app and restart to hear another song. Super annoying!

Dosn’t Work. I bought this app back in 2018. It worked well for a while but now it appears there is no longer support. Due to the later generation Sonos players having air drop there really is no reason for this company to be motivated to continue providing updates to its app. It would be nice for them just to make it official they no longer will be supporting the app due to market changes.

The fixed it!. OMG thank you for fixing the error 11 bug (last ~3 months). App is working and seems to be loading content much quicker than before. Much appreciated!

No issues. Purchased full app today. Up and running with zero issues. I researched this app prior to purchase, and I appreciate the previous comments and concerns on the review page, as I believe they were a forcing function to get the developer to clean up significant problems.

Sonos Tube. i really like this app, i am using it constantly! the app is very glitchy at times though. i’ve had to redownload it, and even though my wifi is good it still won’t play. i really like this app but it can get frustrating sometimes

Does not work!!! Anymore. I used to love this app. I can’t tell you what changed exactly, but it stopped working. When I try to load a video, it never starts My set up is the same. The change mat corresponded with a new operating system update, but I can’t say for sure. All I can say is that I became dependent on this application more than I realised. It’s very disappointing!

Is this app official. Can anyone tell me if this app is legitimate? Whenever i try to use it it wants my Sonos ip address. I type it in and it still doesn't work.... I'm getting scammy vibes

Stopped working. This was my go to app for my Sonos speaker, even with the delay to play tracks as opposed to some other apps; but since the update in IOS it’s unable to connect; at first I thought it was my configuration until I went online and saw it an issue everyone is having. Please fix this…. Premium subscriber

Raising from 1 to 4 stars - Developer Works Hard to Make a Good App. I remember when this app first came out how pleased I was to have it streaming to Sonos speakers. I did the trial and enjoyed it very much. However, shortly thereafter, it became mostly inaccessible for those of us who use assistive technology to read the screen. At that time, in a fit of peak, I rated this app a 1 star. It took a while, but the accessibility finaly got back to what it needed to be. I am now a happily registered user of the app and want to thank the dev for continuously updating the app. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star rating is the fact that the audio tends to buffer a good bit if you play videos in a playlist. Still, this is a great app and I would recommend it to any Sonos user.

Rev3.1. Thanks for fixing many bugs. The app is working pretty well. I was unable to use it a few months back because it was giving me an error. Problem is solved! Now I can also play with the phone screen off! The only issue I have is with the volume control. When I use the phone volume control I can see the app sending multiple signal at the same time. Example is a press the increase volume, the app increased the volume and immediately decrease it by itself with out me pressing the button. The volume works well if I control it on the screen. My Detailed Comment Was Deleted!. I had invested a significant amount of my time, [time I could have invested elsewhere], in providing detailed updates during the app failure and after update 3.0.9 to be helpful and informative, only to find it omitted from reviews.

Works much better now. Paid for the unlimited version and keeps saying "no results found". Updated. Seems to work great now.

Works well. Really love this app. After I purchased, connecting with Sonos worked periodically. Frustratedly, I attempted to factory reset the box. Happily it didn’t reset because I would have lost all my sonos settings. However, Sonostube opened. I just hope this will not be a constant issue.

Works great but limited. Works great and connected to my Sonoma immediately. Just wish you could play playlists or at least create a queue. Having to select a video every time one ends is annoying and sort of defeats the purpose

Latency. I really love my Sonos system, and I really love this app despite some shortcomings. Lately, it seems that when I play my playlists that I’m connected to a 56k modem…the videos are choppy or just decide to freeze. It’s not my internet. I’d like for this to be my preferred app, but this makes it difficult for me to fully appreciate it…and this only started happening about a week ago.

SonosTube. I have been using SonosTube on my IOS devices (iPhone, iPad) and recently on my Mac. I have Sonos speakers in my family room, bedroom and my study and I use it about 15 to 16 hours a day. It is my most favorite app on Apple. is there a way I can share my playlists -- that I created on my iphone -- on my Mac

Update fix. Update seems to have fixed some of the error codes.

Bought Lifetime membership then crash. Glitchy as hell, it worked for a few months after I bought the lifetime membership but then it randomly stopped playing videos. And then it stopped being able to even search for songs.

Essential for Sonos. Really impressed with the intuitive navigation, and ease. I thought I would have to go through multiple setups, but it's all automatic. It's really well developed, and a game changer for my sonos.

Fixed. Prior version was a little buggy and kept crashing but seems this has been fixed. Frankly I love this app and use it daily. Hoping for continued innovation. Thanks

Current Station. I think, it would be nice to have a viewable station that’s playing, for when you move out and return you’ll know what station you have playing.

Impressed. Pretty impressed how this works. Doesn’t require any setup. Just downloaded, and went to settings to specify the speaker group. They give you a 2 day trial which is fair to prove it works.

Awesome!. This works perfectly for our Sonos setup in the house! My only concern is that the program will stop working with future Sonos updates. Are you guys aware of this potential problem?

Great idea- if it actually worked! Horrible !. Just downloaded the app because I listen to a lot of You tube on my Sonos. Everything takes at least a minute or more to download.. and then IF it plays & you even touch your phone or change volume- the sound just stops transmitting (but continues to play the video) or it starts to reload, taking another minute . Very frustrating! Please fix or I would like a refund !!

Works great & super intuitive. We love it! Worth every penny. Seamless integration w my system, love the playlist option! Wish it would show what is playing from another persons app and allow you to add it to the playlist. Some sort of cross communication between phones, using the app at same time

Error message. Been using it for 7 months and have only seen downgrades. This app needs major improvements. Besides not being able to use it for the past 10 days due to the error message in every single video, the app needs to load faster, and be faster to run. Every time I open it, I feel like I’m using a flip phone because of how slow it is. The video almost never matches the audio, etc. etc....

Finally!. Brilliant app so far! Why Sonos doesn’t make this part of their app is mind blowing to me. Decided to Google it this morning and found this app! Works like a charm! Thank you! Well worth $5 to me!

Worth the money!. Once running the app work flawlessly 98% of the time. The user interface could use improvement, especially controlling the volume (slide too small). Another suggestion is to improve room selection and possible make room scenes.

Can’t get to connect. Can’t get SonosTube to connect to my speakers! Sonos app works just fine EDIT: after opening the Sonos app, it told me I had some updates to do. After the updates, SonosTube worked without issue. Changing my review since this was my error.

Latest version as of April 2023 fixed. The app works well again, after not working for a couple months. The new version fixed the problem and now I am using it all the time again with no problems.

Really works. A life saver if you have older sonos speakers which wont work w the new apps. If I had to have an improvement, a repeat function would be swell...

This App needs work!!!!!. Paid version,Listening to a song, suddenly stops and changes to a different song. Then I chose a video the volume is almost non existent, so I turn it up all the way to hear it at an audible level 3/4 through song it changes song and then goes full volume.

It’s pretty spotty. When I first got it, it worked pretty well. Pretty quickly your trial ends and you are asked for payment to get the apps service continued. Once I paid for the service it somehow got much worse. I’m not sure what changed but it struggles hard to load a full video especially if it’s a little longer of a video and it struggles to connect to the sonos. Similar apps that do the same do not struggle like this. Different sonos at friends or families and different WiFi’s as well continue to have the same issue. I’m using the Xs Max. I would wait for them to make it better before continuing with the payment post trial.

Great value. Only $8 for lifetime of streaming anything on YouTube to your SONOS speakers. The fact you can play music from YouTube while closing the app is so convenient, especially when purchasing a YouTube subscription to do the same is far more expensive.

Headache material. When it works it’s in need of constant re-sync as audio ahead or behind visuals; but these days it’s also Re buffering constantly. Not worth upgrading to the full version!

Good idea. Good idea but lacks when u have to wait for the whole vid to down load before playing ,,can make browsing slow , especially if video is a large file . Also audio and vid sync is way off even when using in app nudge vid to audio controls .

Great to be able to play singles or albums. Enjoying listening and watching clips i never knew existed. Good value and pretty reliable on an average connection speed 🙂

Rip off app - fraud. I bought the app. Now when I sign in it prompts me to either buy it again or restore from the info page... restore button doesn't work so only thing I can do is pay for it... again.. be careful guys this is a scam.

Fantastic. Love it, does the job. Wow, can play and edit youtube direct to my sonos. Tip: To reduce video downloading time, reduce preferred resolution of video in settings.

Crashing all the time..frustrated. Got this app for some time. Nowadays most of the song it crashes and says cannot read youtube media and then when i click on send to us button it says cannot send email. Please check email configuration. I don’t see a place where u can configure email in this app. Now i almost at the point of searching for an alternative

A bit slow and buggy but great concept. They’ve got a ways to go still, but great concept and really adds value to the Sonos system.

Buggy Application. Paid $7.99 and bought the full version. After 3 days of usage, got frustrated with the application. Rarely using it after 3 weeks. Issues: 1. Created SonosTube Playlist for YouTube Videos. Added about 20 videos to it. However, SonosTube stops playing video after 2 or 3 songs. Had to go manually and switch to the next songs and it played another two. The problem keeps coming. 2. Mini player: Why there is no minimise functionality as I am playing a YouTube video on Sonos Connect Amp to listen the songs on my ceiling speaker and not interested to watch video at all. 3. Offline mode: If I am not on the same wifi as Sonos, I can’t manage my playlists as well. An offline mode, where I can prepare my playlists or edit them and making ready for the party would be very helpful. 4. Some kind of family sharing is required too. Sonos provides nice management functionality so all the devices can manage it. I got family of 6 with different requirements and Would love to see some special pricing for that.

Good app but need a bit of tweak. The new queue feature is awesome. But the queue button is so small, that instead of pressing it my finger presses the name of the song which deletes the queue and play that song only. Please make it a little bigger

Good but not good. This is a sensational opportunity for YouTube to join with all their songs and other stuff withSonos but the app is really laggy.

Songs not playing. Hi I have been using the app for years , but now when playing it comes up with the error code 11 and doesn’t play.

Glitch in app. Sonos id cannot be recognised because there’s a glitch in the app where you can’t enter numbers into setup. This bug needs to be fixed.

Unable to use the app. I have had Sonos Tube for the past six months. The app is continuing to get worse. Usually, the app will say video cannot be played at this time (when I have listened to that particular song many times) or it will not continue to play songs in my 'playlist'.

Superfluous after Sonos updated firmware. Save your money. Sonos does this via AirPlay now after latest firmware update and also works with Netflix etc. No lag either.

Great. Terrific concept but still a little raw. Couldn't work out an easy way to get lip sync but otherwise awesome.

Constant Crash. It works for 30 minutes, then all you get is the waves. Have to turn my phone off and restart it for it to work. Should have stuck with BOSE at least it worked!

It just doesn’t work. Videos couldn’t be loaded. I could only see the waves jumping up and down for ages. It’s forever in the waiting mode. Useless!

Needs work. I'm currently trialing but there is no way I'll pay $7.99 for an app that's so buggy. It's a great idea but really needs work. Issues I have noticed - 1. Ungroups rooms so I have to go into sonos app and regroup. 2. Have to close the app to stop playing. If you try to pause it starts playing again over and over till you close. 3. You need to have both sonos and sonos tube open to control volume in different rooms separately. 4. If you close the app then come back later and try to play through sonos in wont play unless you open the sonos tube app. If you didn't create a playlist you will need to search again for your previous video.

They changed the app ???. When I first purchased this app it would play everything... without warning or reason it just stop accepting the videos I was playing and come up with a window that say "this video is not available.. try again later" if they fix this issue I will revise my rating.. otherwise, very unhappy with this purchase. The app is working now as per normal. So I'm changing my rating. This is an amazing app 😊

Too slow. Great idea, but way to slow! The app needs to download the entire music video before it lets you start watching. On my internet that takes about 1 minute. By that time I'm over it!

Sonos as a whole....garbage. The speakers are okay and they ONLY work with very specific apps....like none at all. They block Youtube behind a paywall and want $7.00 to use it. After paying an exorbitant inflated price for the speakers and then having to pay again to use them, no thanks. NOT WORTH IT. Stay away from Sonos.

Hidden Fee. Slow on Loading. If you are about to get the app it’s free for a short period. It cost $6:99 I think it’s a bit much. It takes time to load the videos.

Is not like this is a free app or Both my wife and I purchased this app and it doesn’t work well. YouTube by itself works flawlessly. Unfortunately you cannot use your phone for anything else. This app promised to allow you to browse through others applications while having it open. It sounds like a solution to YouTube on your Sonos speakers. Is not! When I contacted them through their phoney email address, they never responded. They lack support and it doesn’t work. Do not buy!!!!

Works for me!. I had this app for several years and I used it quite a bit. It is not a free app, but worth the money if you want a simple way to listen to YouTube music on your Sonos system. I have not linked the app to my Google account as the app is not verified by Google.

Annoyed. It was good at the start but today I went to go play something and it said free trial is over and I’m not gonna pay to listen to music on a speaker when I can just use headphones. Maybe if you didn’t have to pay I would rate this app a bit higher but no. I am sorry SONOS but I am only giving you 1 star because of this.

I love it and enjoy a lot!. I got this app since it was released and I can tell how many times I got frustrated but I always got a quick answer from supplier... however after many updates and improvements this app has been getting better and better and so far no complaints at all... this application makes my day every single day at the office... Needs update ..stay away. Don’t purchase this… loved the app but hasn’t been updated in many months and won’t play 95% of songs. When updated it’s well worth it.

It works, but it ain’t sexy. I’d give 5 stars, because it works. However some things are annoying. 1. Every time I update the app, I need to reauthenticate with Google. 2. It’s clunky af, and doesn’t feel like a native app. 3. It only picks up some of my playlists, which is super annoying.

A no-brainer, eh?. SonosTube lets you play the audio portion of YouTube videos through your Sonos speakers. Sounds like a no-brainer, eh?

Problem with new Sonos software. The program was perfect for couple of years until Sonos introduced new software. After Sonos update SonosTube stops communicating with speakers after 30-40 seconds and start buffering. Apple Music communicates with the system without any interruption.

Unstable, buggy. Through countless updates they have never released a bug free version. Perhaps performance varies according to iOS. Issues im having: Audio from random videos plays over my video Videos will change midway Videos will not start unless restarting app I hope they get it right one day.

Literally stole my money. I purchased this app in December 2021 (I can see it in the purchased section of my App Store). However, in their app, it tries to get me to pay again and seems to have no record of my purchase. It makes no sense at all and I feel absolutely ripped off that I paid this much for something I can’t even use. I have also attempted to contact them on multiple occasions with no response. Definitely avoid them!

Constant glitches. I wish this app would just run smoothly. Especially since I had to pay for it. I had NO PROBLEM paying for this I just expect it to work. I was just playing SonosTube and it quit again for the 6th time in 20mins. So I decided that was a great opportunity to give this app a one star. I feel like it’s just getting worse on top of it all. During the two day free trial this app worked perfectly. Then when you purchase the app it gives you constant errors of “can’t play this song”. Close out app go back in and then it will play the song. It stops in the middle of songs, replays songs without request, and it takes at least 30 seconds between each song before the next one plays. This is horrible you need to up your game. These speakers are freaking expensive. The ONLY REASON we bought them was for SONOSTUBE. I will return all 5 speakers if you guys can’t figure this out. We were planning on buying more ...HA not now. I love that there no commercials -just a 30 second or more pause between each song That’s better than an ad.

Unable to connect to Youtube. I just purchased the app after 2 days of free trial. I’m now unable to connect to YouTube. I’m using version 2.8.4 on an iPhone X. I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the app. It doesn’t work. Really disappointed.

Great app. I wish it was compatible with chrome cast. I also think you should allow us to create an account then share the purchase.

Wow. Took 2 seconds to download. Opened it up, selected a video, and it just started playing on my Sonos. That means it was up and running in under 60 seconds...Unreal!

It stopped working and the app support doesn’t respond to me. I purchased it a couple of years ago and it worked till 3 weeks ago. It kept giving me error messages. I contacted the support for several times and no one responded to my emails.

Works great. Privacy though..?. The full subscription is needed to listen to saved playlists. With this, SonosTube requests full access to your entire account, which I understand would be needed for app functionality. I don't see any disclaimer that they won't abuse this though... Be warned!

SonosTube plays only half of the song. The updated version of the player plays only half of the songs. Any suggestions?

Great App and a must have with Sonos. Sonos is a bit fickle for casual listeners, but with this great app, it simplifies all my play lists from You Tube so the can be heard Thru Sonos and play on two tv's. Makes my parties rock

Awesome and some ideas. Great start and really nice when someone wants to hear a song you do not have. There really is no way to build a queue of songs. You can build a playlist and add songs but have to leave playlist and come back in to have songs. A random option in playlist would be great. This app has some solid potential!!!!

No complaints. Been very useful for making playlists for my boot camp classes and boxing classes.

Junk. This app has been constantly malfunctioning with every video you go to play. Have emailed multiple times when the error message comes up to “send to sonostube” and it’s done nothing to improve. Nor have I received any response back from them. Disappointed!

Very sad. Got it couple months back but now it’s complete trash. I paid for the premium but now after a couple of updates it doesn’t play anything. It load s the list of videos but actually won’t play anything anymore. Just stays buffering. Quite mad.

Restore purchase conveniently doesn’t work. I purchased Sonos tube on my iphone. I decided that i preferred it on my iPad. However the restore purchase link says there are no purchases and now the app won’t work unless I repurchase the app. Seems like there is absolutely NO urgency to fix a bug that makes them more money. Nice.

Great idea but needs improvement. The app is just great but needs improvement in several places. There should be less clutter with clear directions about how to use this app. The favourites are not showing up either. Good efforts so far.

I was patient, but. Too much crashes. Podcast sync constantly is screwed up. Requests to add services feels like it’s for you to make money, not client. These things should be fixed by now! Sonos Tube constantly out of sync with music. I wasn’t able to sign in now, so no playlists. How can still be such a mess!?

Sonos tube cannot find my Sonos. Tried connecting with IP.. My Wifi is fine and so is my Sonos. Any suggestions? Deleted App and reinstalled as suggested in the email from Developer, but it still can’t find Sonos. Used IP still same issue. Paid the lifetime subscription and now I have no recourse.

Great when works, not good when it doesn't. Bought the app so I can listen to what I want instead of pandora. Sometimes there is a few minutes of lag, up to 5 or 6, between songs. So you're sitting in silence while the app figures it out. Not great!

Constantly freezing. Hello Support, The app constantly freezes. I have to force close it and the audio still plays. I also get alot of buffering with songs when I play one it doesnt start. One more issue. I cant seem to adjust the volume until I open the app. I know before this was not the case. Sorry, one more item. When Im playing a playlist, itll play like one or two and then just sit there. I have to re-open the app.. Click on the song... Or switch songs and it picks itself back up. Please look into it. Getting sick of the app because the update invalidated my payment!. The app forgot that I payed for it. First requested password that has to with Itunes, then asked for my payment method. You can’t change the screen to look up the itunes payment method. What a farce. Waste of time...

Playlists have disappeared. I was having issues recently where in the middle of long videos the sound would cut out. Other videos would not load. Now as of 1/23 all of my playlist content is missing.

Sync issue?. Cool app. Only me and my settings maybe but I have a a quite notable lag between the video and the sound. Sound come just before the video, Do not know if I can adjust it.

Well played. Have been able to find every song I’ve looked for thus far.

Lifetime unlock issue. I purchased the lifetime pass for $4.99 and I went to play something a few days later and it says my free trial is over and when I click restore purchase it says no purchases but when I go to my purchases on my Apple account SonosTube shows up there for a charge of 4.99 this app was half good when I had it at least.

Doesn’t always work. When it works.....great! Unfortunately it doesn’t always work. Takes a long time to load. It seems that the app must be visible on the iPhone to work. Can’t start listening to music and then check email or another app on devices. App stops working

Great concept but....... When it works it is enjoyable but it lays for a song or two then it restarts or you don’t get audio. Mostly the tube has been completely downloaded and it starts on the next one while the first one is minutes behind then you can’t fast forward or rewind.

Constantly crashing. Waste of $5. I paid for the premium version after the free trial. I was unhappy with the time it took to load every song and the requirement to open the app for every song, but I was happy enough with the service it provided. However, now it doesn’t work at all and crashes whenever i try to open the app.

Stops playing in the middle of the song. I have the unlocked version on my iPhone 6s. For some reason it keeps jumping to the next song in the middle of the previous song. Seems like a bug.

Keep looking. Cannot get a single song to play without cutting out 4-5x. Have gig speed internet and eero mesh hub - no other apps, games, etc have this problem. Makes app unusable, regrettably after I paid for it, as it once worked perfectly when I first got it ~1 year ago

Content stops playing after a minute or two. This seems to have been happening for about two months now. Content starts (albeit slowly), so presume it is building up a buffer, and then just stops. Never starts up again. Not a useful player of media if it stops.

Great concept, doesn’t work. Consistently gives error that it can’t find the media. Keep tapping, retry, keep tapping, retry, finally works. For one song. Auto play crashes almost every song. Ugh. Very strong WiFi signal. Sonos alone working perfectly.

Love it and hate it. I love this app because you can hear your music from your country, the only hate is that every time open the app needs enter the IP address. it starts after I upgraded it.
