Doesn’t work with iOS 14. Since I updated, it stays open for about 2 seconds and then closes. I hope it won’t be long until it’s fixed.

iOS 14?. Have you heard about it? Didn’t you know it was coming? Did you update your app in preparation? Uhhh, no, no and a BIG NO.

Big improvement. Much cleaner look and easier to navigate. Little liberal but a good app.

Where are obituaries?. Did you discontinue the obituaries this week? Gives an error each time you try to load them.

High Jack Adds. The app would be OK if it weren’t for the adds that take all control away from you.

Courier Rocks. Thankful for our newspaper!

Not user-friendly. This one of the least user-friendly apps I have used. I am simply trying to pay a bill online to save having to tie up a phone operator, and after being sent in a loop multiple times, I am going to have to call a waste your CSR’s time anyway, plus having wasted my time. It won’t even let me send my review without applying unique name. Terrible.

Now deleting the app. I just deleted since i get a limited amount of stories before asking to pay for a subscription. Not happening as i can get unlimited access to Courier and Press via web coupled with an anonymous vpn that i can route through any country at any time. Hate saying it, but print media is going the way of the dinosaur. ;D

Missing a lot of local info. I really miss the TV schedules that was the printed edition The “records” information that was in the printed edition is another I miss. I enjoy the USA edition

Area sports. Need more southern Indiana sports stories. I’m not originally from Evansville but have lived in S Indiana my whole life.

Clean, clear, works.. Read the title

Not user friendly. Will not keep me logged in. Keeps trying to get me to subscribe to home delivery. Tells me me subscription has lapsed when then take money from my credit card every month for digital only. I don’t understand why they don’t seem capable of saving my information. I’ve even uninstalled and the reinstalled it. I’m about to give up and just watch the local news on tv!

Keep Our Evansville Paper. So many communities are without a local paper. They are being bought up or they are closing because of lack of circulation. I wish I could have a “ real” paper delivered everyday but even that is a job not enough people want. At least we still can read the Courier and Press on line. Without it we would only get our news on TV. People lose a sense of community when they no longer know what’s going on around them.

Slow to open. Very slow to open and update content

Love Courier and Press. I enjoy reading the articles and looking at the excellent photographs. Courier and press does a great job of covering the entire tri-state’s breaking news, top stories and local attractions.

The worst. Just the absolute WORST APP EVER!!! I do everything on my iPhone and this is the only app that I can rarely access my account. Perhaps someone could instruct me on how to access my account I have already followed the instructions, but it won’t pull up my account. I am forced to go the library to get it to work.

Pay for local news?. Aaahahahaha!! I refuse to even pay to read WSJ or NYT articles. Ha! It’s the 9th of February and I’ve read my allotment of articles for the month? How about we make it forever and I delete the app? What a joke!

Too liberal. I confine myself to the sports page, some political reporting and absolutely no opinion pieces. Every once and a while, I read an opinion piece and it is liberal and contains few facts.

Great Improvement. The Courier and Press has revamped their website; it is much more pleasant and has a lot more data.

Poor design and limited content. A news app without a search feature? What the heck? Content is limited. If you're relying on the app for your news you're missing out. Save your subscription money and buy the paper version of the C&P. The app has a fraction of the paper version's articles.

App is a piece of junk. The app will put you in a login loop. The print edition and accessing via browser is fine.

Evansville Courier review. The Evansville Courier is important to the greater Evansville community in its diverse reporting of government, business, sports, entertainment, etc. HOWEVER, THE DAY’S DELAY IN REPORTING COMPROMISES ITS POWER OF INFORMATION AND TURNS READERS AWAY.

Should Never Have Been Bought out!. Get your App fixed!

Crap. I just deleted this app. I used to be able to read articles. Now it has you ran out of free articles this month. Which was 3. See you later courier and press!!!

Turning to the Left. What used to be a very centered newspaper is turning to the left more & more. Don't try to convince me to think like you do journalists. Please, just give us unbiased facts. We will take it from there!

Sloooww. Slowest app to bring up. Takes forever when you try to open it. Not updated very often with latest news. Crashes easily. Faster to wait until the print edition comes out the next day. Always takes 30-45 seconds or longer to even load. Even then it will kick you out.

Keeps crashing. I often have to go to desktop site instead of reading articles within the app due to app not opening. Seems pointless to have app

Looks like it was created by a child. This app looks like it as created by a child, it is terrible. It never seems to navigate the same each day and frankly makes it painful to learn about My hometown Evansville. I liked the previous versions much better than this version. It is very difficult to see a summary of daily information and the site seems to be more interested in selling than informing. ALL thumbs down.

Aggravating. Will not let me cancel my subscription

Terrible. Don’t sign up, because when you try to log in and cancel your account it keeps sending you back to log in page. USA Today who runs the app is clueless on how to help, what a scam!

Not Happy. I can’t get my e-edition paper like I was a few weeks ago without going though a long process that sometimes works and sometimes not!! I’ve always been able to view it as if I were holding the newspaper and turning the pages. Not very easy now!

Trying to cancel subscription. Beware /I can’t figure out how to cancel the subscription!

I can never get this app to actually work. I'm not sure what the problem is, but 80% of the time, this app won't connect. (My monthly payment, however, goes through just fine.)

Go back please. Please go back to previous version. Obituarys split up now

Waste of time. Terrible app. Don’t waste your time. You can get all of the news they want you to subscribe to for free from other outlets.

The Art of Newspaper Continues Into the Digital Realm. It’s nice to be able to read a newspaper anywhere I want and I don’t have to look around the porch and bushes to see where it was delivered.

App is great buts needs some improvement. App is great I love the way you see the content on screen but. App is a little slow and takes some time to update feed or open a article.

So Blue- Can’t Review. I think your app is 4 Star at best for now. The best way to bring it to a 5 Star in my opinion, is add comics to the app and give the reader the opportunity to comment on the stories like the readers can of the Louisville Courier-Journal & the Indy Star! Right now, you can’t comment directly on the story(s) if you want to. Come on Y’all, get with the program like your fellow Gannett app sites!!

Maxed out on Free articles!!!. 2 years from now people will wonder whatever happened to the Evansville paper!!

Courier and press. Doesn’t look like the paper at all. Very disappointed It used to be a representation of the paper edition.

The least impressive of all the Gannett apps!. So can we talk for a second about the definition of “breaking news”? I had it set up to ONLY NOTIFY ME FOR BREAKING NEWS. I don’t want you blowing up my notifications unless there’s a METEOR headed straight to my house. Yet you guys think it’s pertinent to give me a buzz every time a high school football player thinks about attending college. You want to ring me every single time there’s someone serving barbecue out of an IGA parking lot. You want to remind me that you have listicles of 10 fun things to do with the family this weekend. NO. NO NO NO NO. Here’s a perfect example, Vanderburgh county prosecutor spent 75k in taxpayer money to pay off a lady he sexually assaulted. THATS BREAKING NEWS. You didn’t notify me. You wrote an article but no notification. Unfortunately because you guys (A NEWSPAPER NONETHELESS) don’t seem to have any idea about what constitutes for BREAKING NEWS. SMH, this app is trash.

Paying for Ads. No matter how well the app works, I cannot believe I’m laying for a subscription to a news site that has ads in the app. I can understand ads if I wasn’t a paying subscriber, to have to endure ads when I’m paying is inexcusable.

Where are the obituaries?. We like to check local news and obituaries online daily, especially when we travel. Lately, there are no obits available on the phone app. They can be found on the laptop version of the paper, but not via the phone app. This is disappointing and aggravating - a major reason for getting the app is to be able to keep up with the news without lugging around the laptop. Please restore the daily obituaries.

Obituaries. What happened to the obituary section of the newspaper? It was the ONLY reason I subscribed to online Courier. Really disappointed.

Love the hometown news. Like reading the articles that areBoth investigative and hometown oriented. Helps me keep up-to-date on what’s going on.

Pitiful. This has trouble maintaining a login. It’s mostly scraping the website and seems to be unable to communicate the login information to the website frequently. The login troubles are frustrating.

Full Access. Do we not get full subscription access any more? I’m only seeing local news and sports.

Obits. Where are the obits?other than that new app is ok.

Obits. The last app. was much better. The obits. are terrible. Can't scroll through them fast. Always restarts, or I won an iPad pops up.

Local news coverage. I like the availability and coverage of local news. Political bias is for Republicans, though.

Locks up constantly. Pages stick when turning them. Drill down view on focus takes forever for clear picture. When leaving app to research facts and returning back to app, the app locks up for long periods of time.

Not as good. Initial reaction is not as good as previous app. Can't easily scroll from one topic to another. Obit section hard to find.

Not impressed. This new CP app is much less user friendly than before. The CP subscribers have lost value. The sale didn't improve things for them.

Obits?. WHERE are the obituaries on the new C&P app? They have not loaded for several days.

Review. Where are the obituaries? How does one comment on stories, editorials, and letters? The new font is nice in the print addition.

Widget for IPhone. The C&P widget no longer loads on IPhone.

Not good. Please go back to your original version. It was easy to use and everything was there page by page. This new version is AWFUL.

New newspaper on my I phone. I hate it it's horrible. Use to look forward looking at the paper. Don't look at it much anymore. The old paper icon with the news and everything else was great.

Great Improvement!. The new app is attractive and easy to read and navigate. The set up for the obits need improvement. Too difficult to find the today's local deaths. Very disjointed .

Where is the courier press. It's not listed in the available publications

Regurgitation of USA Today. You're nothing but a regurgitation of USA Today. The local stories are becoming minimal, unless it fits your narrative. I picked up a hard copy of your paper a couple of weeks ago hoping it was better than when I canceled my subscription years ago... it was worse!

Dislike. Everything is so difficult to navigate through(obituaries) No NASCAR coverage.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE LAST APP!. Without the other newspapers, there is hardly any tri-state news! What has happened to the obits? You can hardly read them! I think this app stinks! It is not nearly as good as the last one! Also, I miss the comments section! Bring it back! JE

Review of Courier and press 2018. There is very little if any next day sports whether it’s professional or even high school, and that’s kind of sad sometimes if it’s not a Friday night game ,then it won’t even be in Saturday or Sundays in a row just be let go. I’ve also noticed and I registered it with Mr. Lockridge are at the ridge but anyway, there is no daily stocks like there used to be. And that bothers me a great deal because, stocks are kind of on the now and to three hours later or even the next day you’re kind of SOL meaning sit out of luck you get my meaning but I don’t understand how things are always a day late but I’ve noticed it’s not a dollar short but everybody wants their money and if the quality of the paper goes down anymore I’m probably just going to quit it . I don’t want to . I believe in supporting my local businesses but it doesn’t take much just to carry a stock sheet over for from USA today or even the Louisville paper where the Evansville Courier and press is printed .so I just hope those couple items are addressed at the next board meeting or go sports are pretty important especially in the southern tip of Indiana and so are stocks very important financial. Review. I enjoy looking at the obits every morning but they don't seem to be very friendly to look around at now. I'm not interested what celebrity or people in another area died I just want to know of the people in the tristate area.

Great paper. I grew up reading the Evansville papers, and I continue to read the Courier Press online. Compared to other Indiana newspapers I read regularly, the Courier Press has the best written news, and great community stories. Well worth the subscription cost!

Good app/ with some problems. The Courier has come a long way but, that doesn't need room to improve. I find it hard to Read an article and try to go back and the app will take me back. To the beginning! I hope that some else reads the Obits and has problems. They will understand were I am coming from.

C&P. Love this app

Biased extension of USA Today. C&P is now just a Gannett extension of the liberal USA Today - half the articles. Trump bashing vs hush on HilLIARy is getting old. And why put section from Lafayette? Too many ads and not enough good news on local issues. Don't support C&P advertisers anymore.

Missing access to Obits. As far as the app goes, it's very functional and I like all the features, but as far as I can find, there is no connect with the obits. Fix it for 5 stars!!

SEARCH FIELD. A search field is needed to find past articles.

Far superior to the previous app. This app is a huge leap forward. The ability to sign up for different types of alerts, the improved display of images and video, better social integration, and the option to select up to five other sources of news (Indy, Louisville, Henderson, etc.) makes for a substantial value. The obits are present in the app. Some people don't seem to recognize the left hand menu is scrollable.

Worst update ever. I have used this app since the beginning and I miss the old one. This update on this app is not user friendly and keeps crashing. Used to love the app but now I hate it.

Courier Press Ap. Random local news. No comment section. Not an improvement.

Good Local Reporting. I particularly like columnists Aimee Blume and Jon Webb. It's interesting to see what's going on in the Evansville area. Articles are not obviously biased. Sometimes investigative journalism is done, as in the "Who Owns That?" series, which actually caused some beneficial action. My impression is that those people/actions that work for a better Evansville are encouraged, and the termites that undermine it (crowded jail, non-compliant sewer systems, political partisanship) are brought to light.

Keeps us current. We love being able to stay informed about what is going on at home no matter if we traveling in the US or abroad!

C&P. The C&P is a great paper. I live in Scottsdale, AZ but often check C&P first before USA Today and WSJ and FT.

Inconsistent. Does not work with latest IOS update.
