Finally able to fall asleep!. I’ve tried many sleep apps the last few years, and there were some that helped to some extent - but none have helped as much as the hypnosis tracks on Aura! There are dozens - maybe hundreds - to choose from, and I can tell within a minute or two if one is “speaking to me.” In the trial period, I was already figuring out which individuals I wanted to follow and which ones I wished I could permanently delete. In the past, lying with my eyes closed “trying” to sleep would just wind me up and make me feel agitated. Listening to the hypnosis audio that I like takes me to a place of openness and relaxation I’ve never before experienced. I can’t explain it; I just know it works for me. Instead of chasing sleep for literal hours, I generally fall asleep before a 30 min hypnosis audio is complete. I do still wake in the night at times, but I listen to another (or the same) hypnosis recordings, and I fall back to sleep quickly. The only downside is the cost, but if you have chronic insomnia like I have, it’s a small price to pay for a good night’s sleep. (Annual membership paid in advance works out to about $4/month, which is a bargain for what you get. To make it even a sweeter deal, my partner gifted me with an annual premium membership! He is awesome - and so is Aura!!

Overwhelming. Ok, so all the negative reviews talk only about the cost. I’m over that. I paid for an abundance of content which it has. But, there’s the problem. It’s so overwhelming I can’t ever get back to what I liked. I get an email every morning with a daily meditation, but I don't want to open email first thing. This should be a push notification. I fall asleep to a story, but if I wake back up I have to put my glasses on (oh, don’t get me started in the tiny fonts) and search through my favorites. Or saved. Or channels. Or listen later. Now I'm wide awake. Just have one place to bookmark please. I also like and dislike certain people. Would very much appreciate a dislike/don’t show again option so I don’t have to remember “oh, right I didn’t like this guy” once I’ve started something and then have to search all over. Lastly, I also use this on my desk top. I don’ always want ear buds in, it’s a bad look, but the mobile app and desktop versions are very different so I basically have to start over at the beginning again. I feel like I spend more time searching for the right meditation, story, music for my mood than I do actually listening. It’s all just very disorganized. That said, the content is great. Well worth the money. I use it multiple times a day. I just would really like more organized or less options. Thanks.

If you have depression or anxiety listen up!!. As someone who has dealt with clinical depression and anxiety it’s often hard for me to go to sleep at night because my mind starts wandering or I can’t relax my body and it gets frustrating to say the least. About a week or so ago I was introduced to this app by my angel of a mother and it has been AMAZING! I used to watch Tv to help me fall asleep and calm the mind but as you may or may not know, TV stimulates the brain. I have been using the 3 or 4 min meditations at night and then afterwards I personally like falling asleep to the “heavy rain” but different strokes for different folks, so you choose what you like best. To use these features you have to pay like 4 or 5 dollars a month and usually i’m pretty stingy about subscriptions but if i was only allowed one subscription in my life - this would be it. It’s worth every penny!

My favorite meditation app. I have tried several different apps for meditation and mindfulness but this is my favorite one. It is very beginner friendly as the sessions are short, but very effective. I love the gratitude journal and how it encourages you to give feedback when the sessions are complete. I appreciate how it recommends meditations based on your emotions. I have found personally that different feelings or moods call for different styles of meditation and Aura is great at matching the recommendations to your needs. I have also found that the Aura community is very responsive and uplifting and I personally enjoy knowing that my feedback is being seen and appreciated by other people who are also seeking peace. I can’t say enough good things about this app. If you are hesitant, give it a try. I haven’t paid to unlock all of the features and I still find it very effective; this app has definitely helped me stay consistent in my mindfulness journey.

Great content, UI may not be for everyone. I am in the trial period and there are A Lot of things I really really enjoy about this app. I definitely recommend trying it out. The thing that started as a minor irritation that has now gotten under my skin is the app's insistence that I immediately do another practice. There doesn't seem to be a setting to turn this off. When you are done with a session, instead of bringing you back to the main area it just starts to play whatever they've decided is next in line. Even if I wanted to listen to another one, I want to choose my own. It may sound petty, but it's quickly become an irritant that interferes with whatever peace was just gained from listening. I'm not likely to continue past the trial.

Great content but a few experience issues. Hello, first I’d like to say I love the content on this app. There is a large variety of quality meditations and good voices. The only thing that makes it lose star are a couple execution issues with the experience: 1. Every meditation place a music bumper that says “Welcome to mindfulness with Aura.” I have two problems with this: first the music interferes with the programable sounds and music. Second, branding is suggesting, since I in the app already and in a suggestible state (ie. opening up for Meditation) I shouldn’t have to tell my brain “ignore this part” right before a meditation. 2. The moods feature (although really helpful in picking the right meditation quickly) adapts strongly to your very first choice on the first day, so when I go to meditate in the morning, and my mind is clear, the first thing I see is a reminder of the word Anxiety, because it’s there at the top of the list every time. I find that seeing the word Anxiety at the top of a list can trigger (or at the very least remind me that a different day, I was feeling) a state of anxiety. It would be much better to lay out the moods in a way that doesn’t make and implied suggestion or trigger, for example, not making them appear top to bottom or in a certain order, or spreading them around in a cloud.

Best Meditation App with a few kinks to work out. I have tried tons of meditation and anxiety apps but Aura has surprised me by being the app I turn to the most. Quick snippets of mediation and life coaching for what I need in the moment. A variety of voices and types of meditation leave me feeling as though it is an endless library and I will never feel bored. I would love to open my app to my feed or favorite channels and I do feel as though there are improvements that are needed in order to make it a bit more user friendly. If I understood how it worked the first tome I downloaded it, I’d never have deleted it! After becoming bored with competitor apps, i consistently went back to Aura. The layout and purpose of the app is initially confusing but once I knew where my favorites and subscriptions were I was a happy camper. Going forward this is the only meditation/feel good app I will be paying for.

Glitches and fixes. Great content, but the app has problems, poor programming. The constant refreshing is A BIG PROBLEM needing fixing: the app refreshes each time I go back into it from another app, or from the phone being locked. THIS IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING because I would like it to stay on the track. Sometimes I have to pause to do something else on the phone, other times I get a track ready before my commute so that I can start it easy while driving, but, poof!, it refreshes. This app acts like a social media app, which it shouldn't be. It distracts from it's purpose. Find a better term vs “Level up” or just remove it; makes it like a kids video game (wrong feel). Creepy“welcome to aura” clip that is on some tracks (it sounds cultish). Also, problem of not being able to get to the lowest playlist when the current selection banner is across the bottom.

Better than other paid apps like Insight, Calm, and Fabulous. I’ve downloaded so many apps like this and haven’t been able to REALLY connect with any of them. I had an immediate connection with this app! It’s kind of like the best of all the other apps put into one! The blend of psychology and choices of so many different categories is awesome. It has inspiration, relaxation, sleep health, psychology, and more! Don’t get me wrong. It’s not gonna burden you with anything you don’t want, but it has all of it if you do. I don’t like paying for apps at all, but I’m happy to lay out the money for this one! The value is incredible!!!! You get a free trial, so you don’t have anything to lose! I hope this app is as amazing for you as it is for me! BTW this is the first review I’ve written. I had to do it, that’s how much I’m in love with this app!

Money. How would it make you feel if you were suffering, someone finally came alone and said “I can help,” and you turned to them in trust, truly hoping that they could help you, and the first thing they say to you is the nature of the payment plan for their service? For me, it makes me feel like money is the primary focus, and not whether Im okay or not. If what you have is truly worth having, people will happily make sure your monetary needs a met to keep you around. ** The problem the way the subscription is set up is that people are turned off by the nature of free trial subscriptions. Namely because many companies factor in profit made from people failing to cancel in time. So when people see things like that they assume it’s all about profit. You’d be far better changing it from a subscription base to in app purchase and making the primary function of the app more accessible without subscriptions. I’m sure you’ve noticed many people delete the app as soon as they hit the subscription screen. **

Updated Review. Rewritten review after closer use. I originally gave this app a poor rating, but tried it again (after others similar just didn’t fit with my needs) and this app is absolutely the best. I don’t know if there was a major update, but the app is no longer ‘clunky’ as I earlier rated, and absolutely LOVE this app! There is just so much to it, and you can get private coaching for your specific needs. I did try the coaching, but was looking for something different (I’m in to sounds healing, binaural beats, ASMR etc…) but hard to find a coach for just that, or at least I haven’t found one yet. I’m chronically ill due to cancer and the side effects of all the poisons, and trying to find a natural healthy way to heal, keep me grounded and reduce stress/anxiety. Try this app, but give it the full trial before deciding not to purchase. The amount of sounds, music, story, meditations and hypnosis is simply ‘OFF THE CHARTS!!!

Review. This mindfulness app has many great categories within it. These different relaxation techniques play a role in our relaxation response to help calm our nervous system that controls our body’s involuntary functions, such as our parasympathetic system. A category that really stood out to me was the cognitive behavioral therapy section. CBT helps with eating, anxiety, personality, and mood disorders. What this does is helps develop coping skills, change they way we think, controls emotions, and behaviors for the better. This app also has a dialectical behavior therapy category, which helps with personality disorders. Overall this app is very beneficial to people who suffer with any disorder or who simply is just trying to live a healthier life style. It’s a great way to pull out your phone real quick to have some time for yourself and take that moment to readjust and continue on with your day!

A note of “gratitude”. I must admit that at first, the thought of meditating, focusing on my breath, listening to soundscapes, and basically participating in everything that aura teaches us… was not some thing I thought I would benefit from… I just did not think it was for me! I am so happy at my misconceptions, and that I gave it a try. many of the lessons the practices, the coaches have begun to change my life, or at least started me on a positive process of growth ! You are all fantastic! I do have one question or a recommendation. My daughter is in her sophomore year at college studying pre-law. I am a nurse, so we share in many of the same challenges of stress, balance, preventing burnout. Do you have any specific meditations, or exercises that are geared towards over achieving college students that are starting their life journey? Perhaps a different level of perspective for that age group? I share many of my meditations and exercises with her however, it would be wonderful if you did have some thing specific tailored. to that point of their journey. Thank you for all that you do you are so very appreciated.! Heather Kirejczyk ❤️🙏

Treat yourself with Aura. The gift that gives back daily.. There are numerous reasons to have this life changing app. I can finally meditate!! I have been able to calm my mind from my racing thoughts. I find myself doing a few meditations a day, for focus, calming anxiety and sleep to name a few. I have coupled that with the wonderful life coaching sessions which have inspired me in many ways. Letting go of past negative thoughts and fears. Learning disciplines for productivity and focus and learning to love myself again. Become one with your breath and begin a beautiful journey to your Best Self. I will be getting the family plan to share with those who I know can really use this tool as well. So much gratitude for all of you at Aura.

Great app! I use this daily.... 30-day streak right here. Love this! What I like: - Seemingly endless variety of meditations/music/stories (which I’m not really sure I “get” so haven’t listened to); - search function is pretty robust; - gamifying the creation of good habits is brilliant; - community “reflections” on the tracks is helpful; - customer support is prompt and friendly; - filter function on search results is great - sometimes I have a half hour to sit, sometime I can spare only three minutes. I like that I can still use the app regardless; - the variety of tracks is impressive, and a good number of them I’d rate as very high quality; - a la Pandora, I can thumbs up or thumbs down a track while it plays. Then it asks for a reason. If it’s content, it will find me something similar, but if I don’t like the instructor’s voice, it will never return that instructor to me again. What could be better: - The entrance/exit music is sweet but can be jarring, especially the exit music if it’s on a track intended to bring me down into a nap; Consider leaving off the exit music entirely. - i’d love to be able to see my history for the day, or for all time; - The app itself can be a little glitchy, taking a while for things to load, etc. But that’s about it. I really love this app and plan to continue using it every day. Thank you so much!

Game changing!. This app has literally transformed my sleep. I was struggling to fall asleep, and while doctors wanted to try medication, I sought a more natural solution. I have been using the different sleep meditations and hypnosis nightly and before I know it, I’m asleep. Two weeks with no problems falling asleep. I also feel better in the morning. A huge plus is the amount of choices you have. They feel endless at times, but it has been great for finding which ones work for me. Some of the voices are comforting and others are annoying, so I am glad it does not limit you to a few selections. I have not tried anything beyond the sleep support, but there is so much to try and explore with benefits beyond healthy sleep. I believe if you are intentional about improving you life and use this regularly, it can be a game changer!

You won’t be sorry!. I’m using this app to help myself transition from an “early bird” to a “night owl” due to a change of work schedule and location for my job. I’m all over the options you can use for improving your sleep-quality and quantity-and I haven’t been disappointed! I’m SO grateful I stumbled across this app, and I can’t wait to get deeper into the other options Aura has selected personally for me! Look, do yourself a favor and do the free trial-you really don’t have anything to lose! If you like it, subscribe to it and see what it does for you! And if not-then hopefully you learned a little something new about yourself over the course of your free 7 days! I don’t know who came up with the concept for this app, but if I did I’d definitely want to shake their hand and say THANK YOU!!! The team at Aura have definitely got a good thing going here!!!

Best App ever!!. I have had insomnia what seems like forever!! I used everything including prescription medicine! But after using Aura I am happy to report that I no longer need my prescription sleep meds anymore!! Between the sleep stories and the hypnosis tracks I am out before the tracks are even done AND I sleep throughout the entire night! I have seen where people complain of the cost but I honestly can say it is SO worth it! The yearly premium cost is cheaper than the Calm app and it has thousands of different tracks. When you break the cost down it equals less than $4 a month! I was paying ten times that amount for my sleep meds! I told my Drs. About Aura and they are now recommending the app to their patients!! Thank you Aura. I would be lost without your app!

I love this app and it loves me back. Aura has been a morning and evening companion for at least a year now. The guided meditations center me throughout my day and help me settle into deep relaxed sleep at night. The variety of timed meditations, coaching, and life stories fits my changing needs and schedule. I can even extend meditation time beyond the guided meditation by using a snooze timer for the meditation music. The gratitude journal is a brilliant feature that supports a positive and empowering mindset each day, and the meditation guides—Lyndi, Dorothy, Glenn, Bradley and many more—are effective, supportive and empowering. In addition to the superb design and teachers, the customer service is unparalleled by any other app I’ve used. The team responds quickly and thoroughly to issues or questions. My one suggestion is to add an evening reflection journal or channel to parallel the gratitude journal. This would allow users to consider how they met their intentions and to visualize for the next day. But even without this feature, this app exceeds expectations for those who desire to start and grow into their meditation practice and for those seeking greater awareness and power from within.

I’m so grateful for this!. I just wanted to say thank you for this app and all the many categories from meditations, hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy, sleeping relaxation. I can honestly say I have always had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep until I started using Aura. I don’t wake up every 2 hours anymore. Some of the cognitive behavioral therapy sessions on here are amazing.. definitely worth paying the premium. Lastly the meditations I never used to believe in them but some days I can do two, three or four different ones depending on how I’m feeling and I feel amazing!! I recommend this to everyone even if you just splurge once. Take your time going through it. There are multiple speakers so you are able to find the one that connects with you. I can guarantee you won’t be sorry!!

So far, I love it!. As a RN working in an ICU/Covid unit, I’ve had to reach out for the first time in my 49 years to find some help and ways to deal with my stress, anxieties, fears, etc, in doing my job for my own sanity. I had to start taking my own advice, trying meditation, music, life coaching, for the first time. I looked thru the gazillions of apps but this one looked like the most well rounded one I could find, with lots of options to choose from. I signed up for the 7 day free trial, trying to take advantage of as much as I could before my trial ends because the cost is just something I can’t fit into the budget right now, since I’m the only income right now. BUT....I plan on coming back when I can and getting the yearly subscription, and I encourage everyone to give it a chance! I think everyone can benefit from a little self-love!!! Be safe!❤️❤️❤️

Aura really helps in a variety of ways !. I started using Aura several months ago, mostly for sleep , but have found I like to use it also for focus, stress /anxiety relief and relaxation. I have a very stressful job that requires me to be able to frequently change gears and stay focused all day long . Aura really helps to relax me when things start to feel a little crazy and focuses me when I am working on projects despite interruptions . Because of work stress , I wake up during the night and start thinking about work related rhings and it’s very hard to go back to sleep, Aura helps me do this through the stories , sounds and coaching. If you have any of the same issues , I believe it will help you too ! You get a lot of return on your investment with Aura!

Perfectly curated blend of options to sleep by. and reliable for its intended use XOXO! Five Golden Stars to this amazing app! I rarely review an app but I dig options and was met with an array to select from, starting with varieties of rain. If my mind is too busy, I’ll need more than 15 minutes but have not once needed 30 to find sleep. Add sounds of fire, river, and/or birds to the rain. I’ve blended a few as my go-to mix. Sometimes I’ll play relaxation sounds mid-morning at my desk for 15 minutes before a Teams or Zoom meeting, putting me in a calm, stress-free state of mind to be clear and fully open to absorb the content. I discovered a new work hack! Then I listened to a story for the first time last night for 20 minutes and slept before it ended. It was time to write a review. There is more for me to explore as Aura is definitely worth the investment. The UI is intuitive. Simple. Big props to the developers, thanks for this experience - thoughtful how they’ve made it easy to share with friends because Aura is a wonderful gift to give.

This app is amazing!. I struggle with G.A.D and a few other metal illnesses and learning disabilities. This app has been really helpful so far. When I first got it I didn’t use it for a bit because I was skeptical of it. Sometimes when I’m really severely anxious my brain doesn’t want me to help myself even though I know I need help. I find it really hard to deep breathe or journal or do other things that are supposed to help. One of the other things I have is ADHD and I find it really hard to just focus on my breath. I especially love the guided meditations on this app for this exact reason. They help me focus on something else and even if I miss a few details or I’m distracted it’s still just as helpful! I would recommend this to anyone who can use or needs it!

Perfect for a busy lifestyle. I’ve been using this app for 3 days now, and it’s the most consistent I’ve been with practicing mindfulness ever! I had the headspace app, but I found it too difficult to keep from being distracted for the entire length of the meditation. I didn’t like it because it was too much work and I felt defeated because I couldn’t do it for as long as they wanted me to. Aura offers meditation and mindfulness starting at 3 minutes in length and going up to 7 minutes!!!! This is absolutely perfect for me. I’m able to succeed at it, and the success has kept me coming back for more. I’m noticing a difference in the way I think and feel during the day, for the better. I’m a Counseling student, so I know the importance of self-care, and this app has helped me tremendously with my self-care during my busy schedule. I highly recommend Aura to anyone!

Real Review. I have struggled with my mental health and ptsd for a very long time. It's extremely expensive to get professional help if you don't have insurance. Spirituality and being connected has been the most effective for me and it all comes from implementing habits and practices. That's why I love this app because it makes that part easy with everything in one place. I listen to what I need for that moment. Maybe I need help feeling more grateful, or I'm feeling anxious and want to do breathwork, or practice meditation so I can try feeling more connected. This app also helps me put daily practices into my routine to be ahead of my mental health and not just treating symptoms. The subscription is absolutely worth it.

Beautiful app. I started with Calm and I still use it but recently read about Aura and decided to try it on using their 7 day trial. It’s amazing and so I now use Aura and Calm daily. There is so much content on Aura I haven’t even finished discovering yet, my favorite so far is the sleep hypnosis they offer. I would highly encourage anyone interested in meditation, beginner and experts to give Aura a try. I truly love both Aura and Calm, both are easy to navigate and understand. What drew me in even though I already had a membership with a fantastic meditation app that I’m very satisfied with was the look and that it was AI kind of peaked my interest, I wondered if it would feel weird whereas when I open my Calm app, it’s very soothing. So , I tried it out, fell in love with it and decided that I could use both apps in conjunction with one another.

Against 5 stars but gave 5 stars. Hi everyone, first off let me say this. I very rarely give a 5 star review because I believe everything could improve in one way or another. But Aura falls into the 5 star category. I am new to meditation. When I say that I mean consistent meditation. In the past I made the mistake that many have and tried to blank my mind and after a few failed attempts I gave up. So now a few years later and a bunch of technological improvements I began reading into the types of Buddhism and Taoism and meditation in general. I’ll try one app and come to a stop with it then it asks me to fork over 300 a year. I love meditation I love learning but I am not a wealthy man. 300 pays all my bills. Well I stumbled onto Aura and I love it. There not just one or two meditations and video from the owner telling you all the wonderful things you’ll get from the app if you pay the 300. I did the 7 day trial on aura and loved it. There’s stuff here for anyone. Anyone from beginner to expert. And meditation isn’t the only things here. There’s stories, mood trackers you can actually click on your current mood and be given suggestions for what meditation I could use for that particular mood. But enough rambling. Ooh wait they also offer the monthly payment plan too. So no locking you in for a year. So Aura…. Keep up the great work.

Insight Timer is free - why pay for this?. I am turned off by the instant requirement to commit to pay if I forget to cancel a trial membership, with no other option to experience the supposedly purpose-driven product before committing to a subscription. Your first priority is profit, and that’s a moral issue with you using your poor mother’s depression to make you look altruistic. Don’t claim you are in it to help people like your mother and first make them sign up to subscribe first. Offer some free content to people who may need it and not be able to sign up. Show the value you claim you want to bring the world upfront. I downloaded the app, which looks like a direct rip off from Insight Timer’s UX and they offer their content free with an interesting support model. I couldn’t try even one experiences before you made me sign up for a we-hope-you-forget-free-trial. Just left a sour taste in my mouth. I’ll stick to generously supporting the plenitude of truly altruistic brands. I was drawn in by the story of the brothers, and turned off by the experience of commit-before-you-try.

Do it- it’s $5/mo. If you’re on the fence, do it. It’s worth the $60/yr. I told myself just don’t stop at the $1-5 section when I go to target at boom there’s my $5/mo to cover the cost. I suffer from anxiety and it gives me terrible revenge bedtime procrastination. I needed to find a way to calm my brain. I also didn’t feel like I could just put down my phone. Aura is my non-social media bedtime routine. I scroll for a bit because there is SO MUCH CONTENT! Then find something to listen to. The stories have background music and you can set a timer to continue the background noise after the story finishes. You pick things that you want to work on and it makes mixes built for you but you can also search what’s popular or search for specific things. I bought for nighttime but I also find that doing a morning life coach something early morning or at lunch really helps my productivity. Reminder though, it’s about what you put in. So if you don’t commit, you won’t get as much out. Also this is a tool to help with mental health, not a magic tool to cure it. Con: I wish I didn’t have to commit to a year. I’ll probably use it but I think I would have liked to do $5/mo instead of $60/year all at once.

Aura to the rescue!!. I’ve been dealing with anxiety for the last few years, and it has progressively getting worst. Many people told me about meditation, and I tried it once, and the way that it was set up did NOT work for me at all. I can’t just put my mind blank lol. A few days ago Aura pop up as one of apple’s best reviewed apps, and since that day I had dealt with a really bad anxiety attack, I decided to give it q try. This app has been amazing helping me sleep through the night, calm my mind (anxiety) driving in the car, and overall getting a grasp of peacefulness in my day that I hadn’t experienced in a while. I’m in awe at the power of mindful meditation, the amazing coaches, and the diversity of options that this app has to offer for any time of the mood, or really any mood. I wish I had discovered it before

DO NOT GET A FREE TRIAL. do mot get a free trial they woll charge you immediately. I decided to try out the free trial thinking that they would charge me and as soon as i signed up for the free trial they charged me 60$. this company is STEALING from you please be aware before 60$ goes down the drain. this entire situation caused me more anxiety than anything else. BE AWARE. i am also a college student dealing with a lot on my plate. i don’t have money to just waste like that, i’m literally selling all of my clothes online just to make money. this is disgusting and the company should honestly be ashamed of themselves. i also read the terms and agreements very well thinking that i would be able to try out the app before having to pay. it also says that u can just pay 5 dollars a month instead and somehow it wouldn’t let me choose it. this company is nothing but disgusting they’re targeting people with mental health issues and stealing their money which is just absolutely disgusting. i emailed them to get a refund but looking at these other reviews i won’t be getting one which is just great. please give me a refund if you see this.

Best Sleep Since 10+ Years. I haven’t been sleeping well honestly in these past years. Father passed away in 2012 but it seems like yesterday and I also have a ton of emotional trauma throughout this long period. I have been a consistent yogi also for the past 20+ years and I struggled silencing my mind when it comes to bed time because of many pressures I am dealing with. I decided to listen to Aura based on other’s reviews and also because I didn’t have time to physically drive up to my yoga studio for group meditation and I was getting anxiety driving at night so this was a nice option! I opened my mind and super glad I gave Aura a chance to improve my physical and mental well being! I highly recommend Aura and if I could give a 1,000, 000 million stars ⭐️, I sincerely would. From the bottom of my soul, I thank you for creating a wonderful solution to improve my spiritual well being! I had many sleepless nights and also woke up for the first time, early and refreshed, and this is also helping with my depression. Thank You for helping me get closer to my old beautiful self. With sincere gratitude and prayers, thank you, thank you, thank you!

If I can, You certainly can.... I’ve never been a person that could stop doing stuff long enough to sit down and meditate. Even though I understood what the benefits would be, I never could make the time to do it. Until now! I started using Aura with a sleep meditation just before bedtime and I literally had the best sleep that I had in months. And I do not normally write reviews but this isn’t an ordinary situation. This APP has pretty powerful possibility to increase one’s potential through meditation. And even though I still can’t believe I’m writing this, it is true. From what I just discovered, you just need to give it the time to prove it by opening your mind and use Aura APP. Trust me, it works! The best part is, it is a multidimensional meditation APP that you can apply to your particular needs or situation. It is not just to help you sleep. I plan to dive into the life coaching too among the many others. Like me, you just need to stop what you’re doing and give Aura a chance.

Extremely limited if you want free version. Update: developers contacted me extremely fast when I left this review and I do appreciate that they care enough to do that so I boosted this a star. There is a very limited option for “free” users but I still wish apps like this weren’t so aggressive with pushing you to subscribe immediately and set up a new account etc. It’s like, just let me see what your app is about first. I am sure this is a nice service for paying customers but with all the subscriptions out there, I’m scrutinizing choices and with this one it was hard to know much about the content from the stuff that was free. Old review: I saw reviews of this app and downloaded it. I assumed that like any app of this kind, it would offer some sort of free content. I’ve been trying and trying, and as far as I can see, I cannot access anything unless I subscribe to their premium. I understand that it’s a free trial but that’s the way they try to hook you in. I have no desire to give yet another company my email so I can receive a ton of marketing emails every single day before I even know if I want the service. So now they just lost me and I’m going to delete the app.

Confusing and too many instructors with bad recordings. I want to like this app but it’s so confusing to find a good meditation. I’ll spend 10 minutes trying to find something to guide me. Second thing is, getting notifications about suggested meditations, I’m like “yeah that looks good, I’ll do that later”. Later, I open the app…. No idea where to find the suggested meditation. I really do not like this at all. Why couldn’t you send me an in app message? Then I could find it 💡 Seems like an easy thing to do, hope y’all do it soon or I will not be renewing. It really does annoy me that much. I get excited for the suggestion and then I’m met with disappointment and confusion. Third thing, way to many instructors. Makes it hard to find a good meditation to listen to. A lot of their recordings are bad. Their voices are way too loud compared to the nature and music sounds. Maybe I’m just spoiled I guess but I think there needs to be a better filter for who’s allowed to submit there audio, or maybe someone in charge of mixing them better. I literally just turned on the app to meditate and after I started 3 different ones, all sounding to bad to use, I had to come add this to my review. Hope to see improvements

Highly effective app. Exceptional meditation app - despite rarely so, I deal with anxiety attacks that later result in lethargy and racing thoughts until I am able to recover. Although I can’t speak for everyone, this meditation app has definitely helped me divert my anxious thoughts until I begin to feel them fade away. As of now, I am in the “fading” process in which I still get racing thoughts, but my my mind is slowly repairing itself. Ps, this app is even more effective when accompanied by external activities such as exercising, or perhaps by simply having a cup of tea. Again, my anxiety is not severe so I cannot speak for everyone. That being said, it’s a wonderful app for those ranging from non-existent anxiety to severe anxiety. There is nothing bad that could happen by trying it out, only good. Cheers!

Warning: canceling is extremely difficult. Though the couple of items I listened to on Aura were good, I did not have time to use the app enough during my $2.99 trial of just a few days, so wasn’t willing to subscribe annually or even monthly until I have more time to use it. But wow do they not want you to stop the annual (pricey) renewal after the trial. I have never found it so hard to cancel a subscription as with this one. I couldn’t find a way via my Apple settings or App Store or within the app, so sent an email asking to cancel. Instead of cancelling, the reply just gave me instructions on where to find it within the app, as it is quite hidden under ‘contact us’ (remember I had already contacted them via email). You then have to click the right answer to avoid being asked over and over and over if you really want to cancel. Yes I do! Tip to the developers: don’t make it so hard and so frustrating to cancel that people never want to use this app again. I will use an alternative should I need one in the future - I almost felt like I was being scammed. Put it this way - if my mother was using this she would never have been able to work out how to cancel. But maybe that’s the point.

A review on Aura. As someone who is a psychology minor, I have some positive things to say about this app. In abnormal psychology, we’ve learned about the treatment of anxiety disorders. I feel like this app is most helpful for anxiety because this app has sections dedicated to mindfulness and meditation. Mindfulness and being aware of your surroundings are commonly used to treat anxiety. I also feel like this app could be helpful for bipolar disorder because this app also has a section for sleep. Interpersonal and social rhythm therapy is used to help set up daily routines, setting up a sleep schedule is emphasized in this treatment. Using this app’s sleep section would be helpful for getting better sleep. Overall, this app wouldn’t replace medication and therapy, but it is a good supplement for anyone having mental health issues like anxiety.

Believe the hype. I tried headspace and calm before trying aura. What I struggled with most with both headspace and calm is that even the shortest meditation is 10+ minutes. Also, sometimes I want to be motivated without having to meditate. I work in an office setting where it’s difficult to close my eyes and meditate, but I can certainly pop in my earbuds in listening to an inspiring story or life coaching session. That’s exactly what aura offers. I love the three-minute meditations for days when I’m really rushed, and I listen to the life coaching or stories back-and-forth on my way to work and throughout the day as a pick me up. I found myself reaching for my phone to turn this app on multiple times a day - something I could never say with its competitors. I’ve never paid for an app before, but this one is absolutely worth it.

My rating. Mini people always told me that they meditate. Me being a loving person and very excepting person always nodded and smiled. Not knowing much about meditation and how well it works. So on Valentine’s Day my husband bought me an Apple Watch which had A meditation app. I thought why not tried everyone always tells me how well meditation helps them through life. So I tried it it is better than any drug or psychiatry’s appointment . it is absolutely a miracle it relieves so many tensions and so much stress it teaches you mini lessons about life. I’ve missed out for many years but now I meditate and learn how to deal with life’s measurements we go tough in our life. I love it. People believe me it is absolutely the best miracle worker ive ever experience I see life in a new way now. And deal with life in a new way. You should try it’s been a very big success in my life.

The best step you can take to getting a hold of your life. For years, Aura has been my go to app for all my mindfulness and meditation needs. I can honestly say that since using it, I’ve become a better version of myself. I have learned so many new healthy coping skills for stress, anxiety and depression and it has helped with my sleep. If you have the financial means to do so, subscribe to it. Aura makes it easy to remember to stop and take a moment for yourself. Our lives get so busy and the more we neglect our mental health and ignore our needs, the harder it becomes to handle. Aura reminds you to take a break, even if it’s for a minute, just to breathe and help you center yourself again. This is the app I’ve always needed and will always use. Thank you Aura for all the help you’ve provided over the years. I am forever grateful.

Listen.. In this fast-paced world filled with deadlines, stress, covetable people or things, etc., we forget to focus on what really controls us and how we feel; our mind. Aura is great with mood monitoring and stability. Whether you’re up way too late thinking about “that one person”, or just in need of some general guidance. From the very first day, it learns about who you are and how to optimally serve you and your wellbeing. It works the best with its premium option (which let’s face it, the money is worth you and your peers’ sanity) and has multiple plans to best suit you and your budget. Listen, I could go on and on about it’s perks and benefits, but it’s honestly easiest for you to download the app for free and go through the free trial. Decide you don’t like it? Delete the app and cancel the trial! Nothing against you or your bank account. I’m sixteen years old and can afford it after a couple hours a week. Trust me, if you think the money would be a concern for you, I promise you it isn’t. I paid the yearly payment up front and don’t have to think about another one for 365 days. You are worth a couple bucks and some down time everyday.

Why should I have to pay to be happy?!. I have been diagnosed with major depression, anxiety, and AD-HD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and when I was playing Wordscapes, I kept seeing ads for this app. I decided to download it and figured it could be helpful. The meditations themselves are helpful but you can only do one 3-minute session every 2 hours. And you’re limited to what emotion you’re feeling?! How ridiculous is that?! And it was even worse when I first downloaded the app. It asked me how I was feeling and I couldn’t answer truthfully because the only option was okay, and I was not okay. The only way to access many of the features on aura is by upgrading to premium which is ridiculously expensive. Why should I have to pay to feel okay. And after all, money doesn’t buy happiness so what’s the point?!?! But the thing is, it isn’t just this app, but pretty much every meditation app that makes you pay. And this app called breethe, it was free to download (like this one) but as soon as I went on, it immediately made me have to pay if I wanted to use it so I deleted it right away. So I’m requesting that this app makes some improvements so I can actually feel happy or calm or able to sleep. That would be very much appreciated!

Aura delivers!. The site offers specific relevant content with an array of trained practitioners. I have used other apps in the past a liked them. But the content was often hit or miss. Aura, however, offers a variety of content types, meditation, hypnosis (which I had never tried but absolutely LOVE, my sleep has improved dramatically) affirmation, coaching, CBT all clearly marked and spanning a host of really specific topics. Want to be a better parent but don’t know how to break your current patterns with your kiddos? There’s content on that! Overwhelmed at work because of perfectionist tendencies? They have content on that too! Struggling with anxiety and depression leading to overeating? Check! I bought it for myself initially and expanded the membership to my family who are just starting to try it out and love it! I feel more calm, capable, clear headed and relaxed. I give Aura my highest recommendation!

Absolutely phenomenal app. I never thought I’d develop insomnia at the age of 34 but here I sit at 42 with insomnia. I am a chronic pain patient so it is unbelievably difficult to just settle into bed never mind getting comfortable, and drifting off to sleep. I refuse to take a prescription sleep aid. I’ve watched a few people go through some crazy things on prescribed sleep medication and I already have many prescriptions for other conditions I do not want them. In a desperate whim one night I did a google search for the best apps for sleep. Google suggested AURA! I was skeptical I must say but definitely curious and excited at the thought of getting sleep. I also love them in the morning to wake up! I LOVE the brainwaves with the music and/or guided hypnosis. I have been sleeping and I definitely believe the brainwaves are helping with the pain. I just started using the tracks for healing. I’m excited!

A useful toolbox worthy of the small fee/ cost. This is a splurge that repays itself in every manner possible, just by the very instance of my banner notice that it’s time to slow and ready self for a mini mindfulness session - in that it repays itself. However it’s had some really great short stories and motivating tales that are 100% on point. For anyone who struggles with getting centered and taking enough self care, this is one way to kind of make that time in a go go go go World. But when you get that banner alert- you must have agreement w self that unless you’re totally swamped up to your eyeballs in a deadline or something else that’s worthy of a trump card- you will stop. You will get mindful. Otherwise it’s just a app to take up GB’s on your phone. Pay the extra dollars for the upgraded. You’ll see what I mean!

Pretty impressive app. I did not continue after the free trial, although it is very tempting. I may come back later and try it again. It has meditations, prayers, soundscapes, positive information they call therapy which lasts a few minutes, breath work, hypnosis, ability to adjust the nature sounds or music in background of meditations, and even choose which nature sound you prefer, white or pink noise adjustment. I hate all the nature sounds in meditations so really appreciate I can mute them. Sometimes the content creator will add a bird or something but it was pretty minimal. You can follow content creators you like. There are live events. You can create playlists, like morning music and evening music. I saved some morning music that I really enjoyed using in the morning. It is very extensive content and it seems they have included a lot of genres. I would change one thing. Generally the sleep stories and meditation did not work for me. However one night, I think I went to sleep because I was just exhausted with no memory of the meditation I used. Unfortunately the next night I was unable to find what I used before, as I wanted to try it again. I gave it 5 stars because they have done a great job with this type of app. I wish it worked for my sleep like it seems to work for most people.

Great nothings wrong with it 😃😃😃. I just did it for the first time I was super dizzy so I listened to the video and now I’m not dizzy. I love it because once you pick what you feel the app knows exactly what you need to help you feel better happier and if you pick you can’t sleep you can go right to sleep after I hope if you are Reading the reviews right now to see if it’s a good app I hope you get it and I helped and you get it because of this I think this is the best meditation app and I am only 10 and I think that you should get this app. And I hope you read the whole thing read all other reviews because I thought that was really helpful that’s why I got them because of the reviews. :-) Thank you if you read on and I hope you get it!

Helpful and simple. I have been using Aura daily for the past 5 days. I very much enjoy using the App for mindfulness exercises. It has also helped me regain focus and clarity in my life by helping my identify the negative thoughts and lies I’ve held on to. I was a victim of abuse and neglect by parents and first husband. I’ve also suffered racial discrimination numerous times being half black in America. Through Aura’s lectures, I’ve been able to find meaning and purpose in my broken past and move forward to be a beautiful person. I have committed to a year of the service and am excited to see where I am in terms of wellbeing and accomplishment. The only thing I’d like to see improved is better functionality with the app itself. I don’t think the user functionality makes sense. Numerous times I’ve lost track of where I was in a program only to have to hit the rewind button backward. I would prefer seeing my entire length of time of the lecture upfront instead of just being able to rewind or fast forward in 15 sec intervals.

Aaaaaaah Aura. I have used many apps to slow down, meditate or keep anxiety at bay. Aura is my everyday healthy head space for 30/40 minutes. I absolutely love it. Initially I was sceptical, seriously don’t be. This is the most beautiful app I’ve ever used. Thank you for such a beautiful and truthful app.

SCAM. Had absolutely no intention of signing up for 12 months. Had $120 taken from my account. Have emailed the company, but had no response. I don’t want the 12 month contract, I want my money. Even if they charged me for one month, it would be liveable. But to have $120 taken from my account for something I don’t even want is disgusting. And to not even reply to my emails is worse. I would recommend this service like a hole in the head. I’m feeling very cheated right now. I was looking for something to help with my mindfulness, not something to completely infuriate me. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied.

Hypnotic Meditation. I’ve only recently discovered hypnotic meditations and was a bit lost as to where to look. I already had aura so thought good place to look. I’m getting so much out of being able to check in here and get some self care then move forward with my day. Total game changer for me, thank you Aura

Excellent App. I downloaded this app 1 month ago but sadly didn’t use it till now. Wish I did earlier because it’s amazing. It’s short and fast whereas the Calm App’s meditations or stories are longer. Compare 3 mins to 10 mins for Calm where my mind always wonders off and unnecessary thoughts start appearing in my mind. Simple and quick meditation is nice.

Wow. Because I am in high school by the end of the day I am stressed, tired, sad etc. I’m pretty much just a mix of emotions and I don’t know what to do but ever since I have gotten this app it’s a game changer it’s made me see a side in myself that I’ve never seen before. This app is truly amazing

Be careful during the free trial. I downloaded the app to take advantage of the 7 day free trial. I cancelled the trial on the last day only to realise the next day that they’d charged me for a full year only an hour earlier that my cancellation went through. They don’t send any emails or other reminders or let you know when you use the app how many days you have left in the trial so be careful to cancel early if you don’t want to pay for a full year. After emailing them about the full year charge without notice, I was met with a “oh well, you must have disabled notifications in the app, too bad” response. I find it hard to search for decent meditations within the app and the ones I’ve tried are quite generic and underwhelming. There’s better options out there for meditation apps and they don’t resort to underhanded trickery to get money out of people.

Shocking app. This is a fancy looking app, but they sign you up to a short seven day trial and make it really hard to work out how to unsubscribe. When you logon, there’s no obvious way to cancel your subscription on the app or on the website. At day 7 you get an automatic charge for a years subscription with no pre-warning. It’s really hard to cancel. Beware.

Helpful. I’ve been currently dealing with being burned/stressed out at work and my partner suggested that I trial this app. So far, so good. Has encouraged me to take time and pause for myself. I didn’t realise how much I have been neglecting my mental health for so long that it has come to this. It’s still early days but so far, happy with the journey. Thank you.

Finally !!! A decent nights sleep. For months I have had trouble getting to sleep - and when I get to sleep I wake up and can’t get back to sleep - I have only been using Aura for 4 days/nights and can’t believe how well it is working for me

CBT DBT life coaching meditation App. As someone who has done ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness and life coaching in the past. Aura has easily combined all of these amazing Skills & techniques to create the best meditation app. I’ve always struggled with meditations in the past, but now this is a daily practice that has benefited me enormously & I look forward to.

Beautiful app. I absolutely love this app and the community. Always so insightful and helps to get through my day. In these uncertain times don’t forget to breath and take time for you. Mindfulness is everything and this app delivers it all right to your phone.

Easy and supportive. You can start with just 3 mins practices and build up from there. Many different styles of meditation and mindfulness so can suit all comers, wherever they currently are at and what they need. Thanks!

A LOT of average meditations. The app feels like you’re using a public site where anyone can upload their meditation guide, meaning there are literally thousands of meditations to choose from. When you’re anxious or stressed, the last thing you want to do is worry about finding the right meditation, and sifting through all the bad ones (which there are a lot of) Has potential, but I’m disappointed I wasted my money on this app..

Fantastic and comprehensive app. Aura is an app that makes you feel calm and relaxed and tailors to your own challenges. For myself I found the life coaching and advanced meditation really helpful over a period of time and I really felt a difference in daily life. A great all round app that is my go to daily mediation and lifestyle app. Love it :)

Pretty disappointed.. The app was good when I had it but now I can’t actually get into it anymore... when I go into the app it starts to load and then it just exits back into my home screen.. I tried redownloading it and turning my phone fully off and then on again and nothing’s working.. so I’m pretty upset because it was definitely helping with my anxiety.

Stop relax. I love the Short and gentle relaxations. If only 2 minutes or 5 or 10 it’s enough to just stop, regroup, breathe and relax allowing me to recharge and take on whatever the day has to offer be it challenges, work or leisure.

So far so good!. This app has really helped me so far. I’ve found it extremely useful and informative. Would recommend it for anyone with insomnia or wanting to improve their overall mental wellbeing.

Absolutely amazing!!. Though I only have it free for three months, it’s my new favourite sleep-helping app!! I have tried so hard to find a decent sleep-helping app including: Calm, Sleep Tracker etc. etc. in love with the nature bg choice!! ASMR really hits a part in me that just screams “I AM AT PEACE!!” Keep updating!! This will be the best three months! I’m gonna love this app even more than I already do!! Incredible work here!!

Actually very good. This app has helped my sleep , be happy and relax my mind. I love how it asks how you are feeling and matches meditation to your emotion in order to make you happier. I would definitely recommend, even though I normally don’t do this , Aura deserves it. Thank you to the developers of this app , it has truly helped me through my struggles. I will continue to use this app for my meditation!

Bring back Mood!!. With the removal of the Mood component of the app in this new update, I unfortunately will no longer be using this app- as I’m sure many others will feel too. Why remove such an important and functional part of the app? This was a fantastic tool for self reflection and tracking your mood over time. How devastating it is to have invested over two years in this app to now lose all my diary entries from this time! 😣😔 I am so disappointed 😞

Pretty good. I find that aura is a really good app to use to calm yourself or to, I guess find the importance of some things, or to build self esteem and that sort of thing. The reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 was because a lot of the podcast like things are locked, so you have to pay so for me that drags the app down. Apart from this I think it’s very good and I would recommend using it especially before going to bed

Aura is wonderful. There’s such a wide range of options and accents to choose from, that it’s easy to find your perfect narrator and session. Aura has helped me feel better. I’m more relaxed, focused, grateful and mindful. It’s just what I needed.

5 star app. I love this app listening to it in the morning when I wake up and in the night before I go to bed, I helps me to be calm and forget about all the stuff in my life. I really recommend this app to everyone, trust me this app will make your day a lot more calmer and you can listen to it anywhere, so go check it out because you want be disappointed.💕

Loving this new app. Have just recently discovered Aura and love it so far. Especially enjoying playing some nice music to fall asleep to at night and the fact you can set how long it plays for - so easy! Meditations are very good too and so far all free.

Cheapo version of Calm. Content’s somewhat decent. The app is a bit limited though and doesn’t work correctly on my iPad (no landscape which is REALLY frustrating). There’s also no dark mode support. These are things that work on Calm, which is basically a much nicer app experience. I’m only using this because my company cheaped out and swapped our Calm sub to this. I guess Aura’s sales department go around undercutting Calm corporate users. 😞

Great Choices. Really useful range of sounds meditations etc able to give you timed listening for sleep anxiety etc. I tried using free ones from the web but Aura was so much better. Well worth the money!

‘Free’ Trial Mess. As others below me have said, it is almost impossible to unsubscribe from the trial. I did so through Apple subscriptions immediately after signing up to ensure that I wouldn’t forget, found the app disappointing (more on that below), yet was charged for a full year. I emailed the company and was told I could only unsubscribe through Apple…and on and on. I still can’t tell if they are going to charge me again after 12 months. I’ve tried using the app a few times, but it is a messy combination of Insight Timer, which is mostly free and uncomplicated, and Calm, which is just generally a much nicer app. Those apps, as well as others I’ve used, like Smiling Mind and Headspace, are well organised, have a consistent style or clear purpose, and will suit different people based on personal preference. This seems to be trying to be everything, which kind of defeats the purpose of mindfulness in my opinion. If you are looking for something with a million options at once and find places like casinos meditative and chill, this could be for you. I found it overwhelming, with unclear categories, unnecessary graphics, and unwanted and sounds. The sounds are just as difficult and frustrating to turn off as the subscription. Not recommended.

Aura stole money off my credit card. I am now fighting to get my money back and my bank says i have to change all my credit card details to block this company from stealing more money. I did a seven day trial and found nearly all the mediations are the same with different people. I thought it was ok until then so didnt want to use it anymore, some of the recordings were starting to become brate with background noises putting the whole meditation off. I got an email confirming i am no longer able to access as my 7 day period is up then i got another confirmation from the co founder Daniel lee saying can i do video call to say why i dont want the app anymore and then when i pressed that it tried to sign me up on another free trial platform.. Tottally rigged Nd then money missing out of my account.. I am still waiting to even here from them let alone get my money they stole and pay back my bank for overdraft fees

Mental Health with Aura. I suffer from Complex PTSD abd this app has saved my life as I lose my gorgeous Mum I lived with and cared for 20 yrs. I’m unable to walk also after a freak accident at home ten yrs ago made my right leg crippled. My Dad suicides in 1981, my sibling gaslit me my whole life and 20 yrs ago I lost my partner and was left to raise 4 x children under 11yrs old who were traumatised also. Thx Aura I couldn’t be happier and give your app 5 stars it truly is helping me to heal, love myself and feel stronger. Thankyou recommend very highly with ten out of five stars, brilliant app for all sorts of therapies I love it so much I make time each day of an hour just dedicated to myself and my mental health ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best app in this category!. Over the past decade I’ve tried many similar apps that are fantastic but not up to the same standards as AURA. I’ve been using it now every evening for 3 months (I’ve waited to do a review so that I had fully explored & experienced the app first). I love the stories, hypnosis, sounds, meditation & the prayers are just perfect for me! 🧘🏼‍♀️📚🕉️🎧🌿🌊 the fb group is also fantastic! Always lots of support from the customer service side of things as well as seeing what others like so I’ve been trying things I wouldn’t normally which have turned into part of my daily routine. Thankyou to the team at Aura I really love what you’re doing 🌺💖

So far so good!. It is only day two, but I have just completed a long hypnosis and have come out of it feeling good. My only gripe, and this goes for most apps is that it’s advertised as $x amount of dollars and this sounds fantastic so you sign up only to find out that it is a third or a half the price more expensive once converted to Australian dollars,if the App Store has the power to prevent me from watching content licensed to other countries you have the power to list these App’s accurately to the local prices.

Great app with lots of options. I’ve tried many of the ‘main’ mindful apps and this one of the best. Lots of meditations, with different time options and a ‘sleep’ timer so you can drift off listening. The life coaching is also great. I definitely recommend.

Finally an app that delivers. It's really refreshing to find an app where the creators have worked tirelessly to collaborate a balance of well-being tools that allow you the space to work on the more important things in life worth practicing. I have found the value beyond money in this app as it allows me to fine tune my emotional / mental / spiritual well being when feeling disconnected or flat / low vibe. Whatever your journey is...I believe this app will help bridge the connection you are seeking. 💯🙏🏽👌🏽

Aura. An amazing app for all kinds of moments in life that you need a little help with but would never ask aloud or admit to yourself that you needed a little help. There is a lovely online community and something for everybody no matter the circumstances. I have found this app to be one of the best I have downloaded and I strive everyday to take some counsel from it and to engage with others out there in the world, where for not for this app I would never have had the inclination to do. So if your out there and need some support for any reason, I would highly recommend trying Aura!!

Exactly what I needed. I have been seeking something to help me with my anxiety and overwhelm and this app was exactly what I needed. It’s so simple to add to my daily routine and I’ve noticed a difference in how I feel already. I’m still learning the app but I am loving it so far.

Wow!. I first downloaded this app thinking I’d use it during the free trial period and then delete it because I had downloaded so many other apps that I just hated. When my trial period ended and I was charged, I thought well I may as well make the most of this now that I’ve paid for it. Thank god I did! Not only do I have access to limitless meditations but I’m also part of community of others who are going through what I’m going through. The help and support that you receive sometimes feels more valuable than the meditations because I’m getting first hand support and advice from others in my position. I highly recommend this app!

i am on the fence. i usually love this app i use it every night but i have just gone into my subscriptions to check if i needed to cancel anything i didn’t need, up poped a subscription fee of 154$ to renew it but i have NEVER and would never pay that much for a subscription so please explain.

I love this app. I haven’t had this app long but I already love it. The way it is set up to customise to your needs is excellent I look forward to using it every day, morning and night 10/10

Aura is my go-to when I’m in need of some time out.. An amazing app - I love it 100%! I use it almost every night to help me go to sleep. It’s great to have a choice of guided meditation, or listening to soft relaxing music. My only concern is the price of the app makes it not possible for many would-be users, because of the cost. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to continue after my subscription finishes. 😢 Otherwise the app is wonderful for me.

Offline listening doesn’t work. I love this app and want to take it with me to an offline environment. Have downloaded my favourites but they will not play when I turn off data and wifi to test its working. The app just hangs.

Self focus. Aura provides me with the pathways to greater self focus, relaxation and gratitude. I am facing the grieving, heartache and internal stress that comes hand in hand with a cancer diagnosis. With the help of Aura and the love of family and friends, each day can start to feel a little better as I take another step on my healing journey :)

A Big Thank you ❤️🙏👍. Since finding this app I haven’t been disappointed at all. It has so much to give out and to search and to learn. To be guided in whether it stories, prayer meditation it’s one of the best apps to have come upon. I’m glad I have discovered Aura, also all of these coaches big thank you too each and everyone of yous are a blessing in disguise, Thank you from my heart and soul for giving me this chance to discover and learn but most of all to focus and listen more each and everyday 💯❤️🙏

Amazing. Only discovered this awesome in-depth app. Last night & im in love already! Individual content that is made based on how your feeling & simple & easy to follow questions & or emojis! So impressive. I slept like a baby after my 1st custom meditation. Received my 1st custom alert this morning & completed my start the day mantra meditation again based on my mood & only 3 minutes out of my day & it really did make me feel better! Anyone can use this app. From beginner to advance & it’s so simple to navigate & I’ve only just start, can’t wait to explore more & help my mind body and soul! Thank you I’m in love

Lovely app, beautiful to use. I have tried other mediation apps before and while these have been good they pale in comparison to Aura. What I like most about this app is it offers a range of modalities not just meditation. Also it is worth adding the interface is lovely to use, just opening it promotes a sense of flow and ease. Well worth the subscription 😊

Beautiful. 11/10.. Today was quite on heavy for my mind today and I’ve been meaning to get into meditation and today seemed like the right time to do that. I searched through different meditation apps however Aura caught my eye. It seemed like good energy. And i was not wrong. It’s easy to manage and there are many different options, sleep, meditation, coaching, stories, background noises and a panel of emotions you can choose from to let Aura know what it is you need for the day. “I need to take a breath” left me shocked. My head felt light and clear and I felt like I was almost floating for 2 minutes after I opened my eyes. I needed this today. Thankyou Aura. A 7 day free trial along with adorable level up congratulations are exactly what I needed to be proud of something I did today. I chose my mind.

Brilliant App. I love this app especially the CBT component. Such an amazing offering during such challenging times. Oura has become a little shining light for me during the 4th week of stay at home orders in Sydney. Starting with a daily meditation is helping me hopeful.

Easy to use app, really effective!!. I’ve only been using this app for a couple of days but have found it so easy to use and really helpful. I listen to one story and a meditation session daily and can feel the difference it has made to just put a side a few minutes in the day to relax and meditate. Thank you very much!!

Aura is great. Since I started using Aura I feel so much more centred. The variety on offer is amazing … there is something for everyone. I use Aura every night to help improve my sleep especially after a hectic day at work.

Recommend it to everyone. I suffer from severe anxiety and OCD and I find it hard to concentrate and relax but since finding Aura I have been able to for the first time in a long time. I am one of those people where my mind wanders and I have tried different meditations and relaxations but because I am always on alert it is hard but this app has helped me with beginning to find that relaxation and calm slowly and I recommend it to anyone to try it and it might not be for you but unless you give it a try you will never know.

So good before sleeping. Love the app especially before going to bed because it brings out a sense of well-being into my life and it completely changes my everyday mood, don’t understand how it does it but whatever they do it’s working keep it up

Really, what’s the point?. I can certainly appreciate that people are making free apps to help people with problems like stress, anxiety and depression, etc. But not this one. One of the first things you’re offered is the premium membership which already made me think “I know what this company is it for” but I still had hope. And then they locked actual emotions behind a paywall? The only emotion you’re able to choose without paying is feeling “okay”. Wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone, you might as well just go online to YouTube or other sources that are actually free and easily accessible.

Disappointed. I purchased this app at 50% off for a year for a premium membership. I love this app. My husband hasn’t liked any of the meditation apps we use at bedtime until this app. He has stopped say “no, don’t play that one any more.” I look forward to when I have more time to dig deeper into what it has to offer. For now, I love it as is. Thank you for your patience with me Aura.

Finally Found The Right Meditation App For Me. I’ve tried many different meditation and mindfulness apps out there and Aura is by far the best one that I’ve found that suits my needs. I am a 40 year old divorced father of 2 and recently diagnosed with adult ADHD, PTSD and Anxiety & Depression Disorders and have had a hard time finding an effective way to calm my mind and ground myself in the present moment. This app has changed the game for me and I have incorporated it into my daily morning routine every single day.

Most frustrating, non user friendly app ever. Try cancelling the subscription. Very very frustrating. Absolutely not recommended

Wow. Quelle belle application. C’est mon premier soir et j’adore les méditations proposées anglais ou français.

Just looking for your money. They try to force you to buy their premium membership immediately. Before you even have a chance to see what it’s actually like. And then they lock all of the emotions because only people with money are allowed to have those, right? I’m just a broke university student who’s trying to find something that’ll help my anxiety during exam season, I can’t be worried about cancelling a trial that’s going to cost me more than $80 for a years subscription. This app is just looking for your money, they don’t care about anything else.

Aura kk. I would to stop my paying to this and get get off my name

One of my support systems. When troubled or in need of any type of emotional support at any time of the day, I go to

SCAM. Total scam! This is the second time that this happened to me. In 2022 I got charged twice, so I cancelled. During cyber Monday this year I thought that I would give the company another chance. Bad idea! They just charged me a second time just Friday! Again! Can’t seem to get my money back.

Annoying product. You turn off notifications, but they never stop coming. Oh, and all of their content you can basically find on youtube.

Really helped my sleep. The sleep hypnosis sessions really helped me fall asleep and sleep for 5 to 7 hours. A bit more information on each option would be helpful.

Life Changing. Life Changing … Life Saving!

More options. This app has more options then slowdive

What a gift. This app is a true to gift. It’s got so many options

The greatest gift ❤️. I love Aura! It has truly helped my mind, body & spirit 🧘🏻‍♀️It is part of my morning and night routine. I sleep better and I feel better. Thank you Aura 🫶🏻

Want my money back. I have no idea why I have a charge for $177 from this company

Please make update for Apple Watch. It will be great if we can use it with the Apple Watch

Charge for everything. The App content is good but I don’t understand why to get access to any of it you have to pay a fair bit. The App provider should make more of the content free

A wonderful & versatile app. Aura is a great app just for the sheer number of wellness tools in the toolbox. Way too many to mention, but they include meditation of course, along with coaching, sleepy stories, hypnosis, and personal tailoring based on your emotional needs.

A learning journey. A learning journey of possibilities.

Aura. So far I like what I’ve listened to. Going to listen to more so I can start to get a grip on this anxiety and depression.

Curious about CBT. I was curious about CBT. I was in a place where I wanted to grow and develop. I felt I this was restricted by negative thoughts and experiences. Exploring CBT through Aura gave me information, tools and guidance to self-curate the process based on my intuition. The results are progressive and I feel more optimistic about the future.

Lost my streak. I was really enjoying Aura and I saved alot of my favorite teachers who did wonderful hypnosis and meditations for me to fall asleep to. I know I had also signed up for a yearly membership that was not even close to expiring. My membership will no longer work. I have lost all my daily streaks and contacted Aura. I am really disappointed in this and it’s made going to bed a unpleasant experience. Please connect with me as I would like to get this rectified.

Great sleep support. This app has been essential for me as I battle some nasty insomnia. There is such a large selection of hypnosis and meditation audio tracks and a broad range of professional therapists to choose from. I’ve tried many similar apps over the years and was never satisfied until now. Highly recommend this app for making yourself feel better.

❤️ Aura. Very relaxing and enjoyable so far… 😊

Didn’t like it. No

My Everyday Charm - All day 💝. It is such a pleasure knowing I can refer to this App as a loyal Spirit, friend or tool to help me in various areas of care and adjustments in my life ✨🦋

Grounding. I’ve been feeling anxious and looked for something I can access on demand. Aura gave me a bunch of options including an exercise in Grounding. Just an 8-minute clip but I’m already sold! There were a few tools in just that first exercise that helped me bring my anxiety down. Looking forward now to the next exercise with Aura.

Omg!!. I love this app. I’m a Canadian Military Veteran and suffer from severe PTSD. I’ve been in dissociation for about a week now. Honestly contemplating suicide. I seen this ad pop up my Instagram. I’m thinking I’d give it a shot. I do own a lot of different mindful and hypnosis app lets give it a try. I listen to getting over fear and phobias. One 30min session that’s all it took. I was not being very hopeful because I also do a lot of therapy on the side with my psychologist like EMT, Neurofeedback and Biofeedback. Which is a lot targeting triggers and working through them and grounding yourself. Neurofeedback is a modern version of electric shock therapy is what I call it. Lol. But it’s not it just helps redirect new and positive pathways. Don’t get my wrong it has helped in so many ways, especially understanding the “why” it’s happening and understanding my triggers and what my triggers are. Super great for that. But sometimes my brain and body just don’t connected and I get so scared my flight and fight mode would just kick in out of no where’s and nothing I was taught wasn’t working and my rational self was just not in control anymore my trauma parts would just take complete control. I actually thought it was never going to go away a whole week of it. It’s been about 4 years since I’ve experienced this type of powerful emotional response, and I’m very aware of my emotions as well which sometimes being aware is not always great especially cause you know why it’s happening but there is no way of stopping it. Anyways I listen to the fear and phobia one and I woke up with no dissociation no anxiety, no physical symptom like dizziness and feel sick to my stomach….. It was F***ing amazing.. No joke… I was legit going to off myself.. Even my doctor was worried. But cause of covid and she can’t admit me because there is no room is the hospitals right now… I even smoke medical weed take antidepressants etc. Been doing this for also 4 years as well. I mean everything has its place and everything all works together once you find out what works for…. But this app. Thanks you for saving my life. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I appreciate this so much. I’m so glad I seen it when I did.😭. I’m crying good tears. Just thank you. Sincerely SC

SCAM!!!. It’s a scam I got charged when I was on trial time, and I remembered cancel the subscription before my trial end but it was still charging to my Apple account Didn’t realize that I was still on it until they charged for the auto renewal

used to love. this app was great when i could use and listen to all the meditations without having to purchase a membership, now you can’t really do or listen to much without having to pay, disappointing.

Pretending to be free. You can’t get anything for free unless you do a free trial that automatically charges you almost $60 after 7 days. I hate fishing apps like this. Don’t make it seem free and waste peoples time than.

Loved it. Just can’t afford the renewal sun from job loss recently

Confused with pricing. Free trial then as advertised, 59.99 per year (4.99 per/month)...attempt to start trial only to then see it’s now listed as 76.99 per year...click on “show all plans”, all that is listed is 11.99 per month or 399 for a lifetime program....??? Looks super interesting but that needs to be sorted :s

Very impressive content so far.. I’m impressed with the quality of the content.

Aura. Great app - so many choices and all helpful and calm

Impossible to cancel. Just keeps taking out money and doesn’t offer an option to cancel auto renewal.

Wonderful. A lovely app that, while I’m still learning my way around, is really pretty simple with lots of options to help you through the day and to close it down when it’s time to rest!

UI improvement opportunity. Lots of pop ups - not really a zen atmosphere but quality of content is good

Day 2. Mediations are amazing

A helpful app. I enjoyed my first hypnosis. It works for pain reduction

So far so good. First try , will see after few days

Just signed up and happy for it!. I’m a senior over 65 years who has experienced diminished sleep quality recently. In fact, sleep duration has declined over several years but never to the extent that energy level or mood was affected. It seems however that our increasingly stressful world was pushing me to lower quality sleep that was affecting by daytime activity. To remedy this my doctor offered prescription drug treatment but that was a last resort for me. Through my own research I found Aura and an introduction to cognitive behaviour therapy. Am I ever glad I did. Within the trial period I experienced a substantial improvement and knew my path forward. I am enthused as I now commence my journey to dig deeper with Aura’s range of therapy materials. I close with a shout out to the Aura organization and their responsive guidance to address my subscription needs. Thank you!

Some BS lol. $70 (or $77) a year, funny. As someone who doesn’t have a job, I’m not getting the full version. I’ve also deleted it, because i can do very minimal things, almost nothing. 1 Star.

Great app with fantastic content. A lot of amazing content to suit anybody’s needs whether it’s mental health, Mindfullness or breath work.

Great app with beautiful UI and lovely meditations!. I’ve been trying out different meditation apps and this one is awesome! There are lots of different meditations to choose from, and all sorts of categories, and all the ones I’ve tried are lovely and relaxing. The UI is beautiful and the mechanics of the app are great too. Very user friendly. I also love that it prompts you to reflect on the meditation after you’re done and it saves your reflections for you to reflect on later 😂🤗

3 Days in. Loving this app! Just helps me organize and reset my racing mind everyday.

TERRIBLE. AWFULL! Wheeler you nées hop on ceirten Ways un’ess you pay a lot or monte you can only fêlé 9ne way and ne haltères un inédit way that dosent help on a lot or things

Just what I need. I love this app. Just wish It was a bit cheaper. But, the content is fantastic

A bit too expensive.. Hello! I’ve already seen a review similar to this, so I will make this short. I understand that you have to charge people so that you can pay the therapists, but the problem is, not everybody has enough money for this subscription, and many of those people really need an app like this. I saw an ad for this app and was intrigued, as I had been looking for a way to help me with my anxiety for a while. I started up the app, and so far it was going good. Then I went to say what I’m feeling, and the only option was “ok.” No offense, but that’s literally useless. I’m honestly really disappointed, sorry. My suggestion is open more features for people who can’t afford to buy a subscription. That’d be greatly appreciated for me and many other people :D

Love the offerings, App difficult to navigate. The meditations have been helping me a lot. However, I find navigating on the app is confusing and not very intuitive. As an example, I’d been using it for a few days when I tried a sleep meditation, which was great. But unbeknownst you me, I hadn’t press the little icon at bottom (with arrow inside circle) not realizing this was “play next” and was rudely wakened by a different voice/different exercise. I’m an older person and I need glasses to read, especially at nite on a little screen. I would love to see a tutorial somewhere on the app to help me figure it out. Maybe there is one already on there ( somewhere?) but I have no idea where

Easy to use & great for intentional mindfulness!. I started using Aura regularly over the past week and love it! The app interface is simple — the customization improves over time to fit the criteria of how you want to focus on your betterment. I am more relaxed and intentional with my thoughts and emotions which is aiding my overall mental health. Strong recommendation for anyone who has access to this awesome app! The premium is worth it as well — it even helps support the Aura team to distribute premium memberships to those that are severely in need. It’s a cool way the company gives back to those who may not have the means for a premium membership.

Why this app deserves this rating. I am a thirteen year old girl who is unfortunately going through a lot of stress in her first year of middle school. I came home today insanely stressed from all the work that was given. I had so much work that was overdue and almost due. I opened up my Aura app that I got yesterday and used once, and after 4 minutes, my session was done and I felt like all the stress that was on my shoulders were taken off. I felt light and happy. Right now I feel like I can do anything and nothing can get in my way. I can see so much potential in this app and I know that it can help so many people and i know that it will help me so much in the future.;)

‼️Make sure you cancel on Apple AND your Aura Account‼️. The app itself is alright, never really used it on a consistent basis and I can’t say for sure if it helped my anxiety. I cancelled it via the Apple App Store MONTHS before my card was charged this past Friday, but I wasn’t aware that I even had an account set up with them until they charged me. I’ve emailed the support email 3-4 times now over the weekend and today, which I realize was a holiday weekend but still. If I don’t hear back from them before this week ends, my current review will stay the same. Update: It took a bit longer than I would have liked but I did receive a refund. Thanks you.

Serious issues with Bluetooth. I appreciate that the app has some great sessions with a wide variety of content creators, but there are some connection issues that make the app difficult to use with airplay and bluetooth connections. I like to play a meditation before I go to bed, and I try to play on my Apple HomePod. But it rarely works on the first try. As I’m settling in for my meditation, the audio just goes blank, and I’m left trying to figure out why. I skip ahead and sometimes it comes back. I restart and sometimes it comes back, but it may go out again. This is far from an optimal user experience and they really should figure this out. Never happens with any other app, but always with this one. Totally ruins the user experience. Instead of relaxing, it’s more frustrating.

The value that Aura provides:. I am a recently retired Divorce lawyer who has been a member of the Aura family for years. When I recently retired, my wife, who I adore, unsubscribed me from the plethora of APs that I accumulated because our revenue stream was also retired. My AP addiction was out of control and I was paying for APs that I didn’t use! She did not know how much I relied on Aura to help me get centered every morning and to sleep at night. I am in therapy for my addiction and I am back in the fold and I have reminded her that even though I am retired now, there are still some divorce lawyers that weren’t of my caliber but they know how to do a divorce. David

So. I had this about three years ago, I remember logging off because of things that were happening (I got a new phone and it was stressful enough I ended up never downloading it again) anyways. I was just going through my emails and these guys emailed me to ask if I was okay. So this may seem unimportant but let me tell you that little email asking if I was okay made me so happy. Even though I saw it about a year later I still got so freaking happy to see that even if it’s something they do for everyone, I got this email, from someone I’ve never met, asking if I was okay. That’s all I just wanted to say thank you

A Problem with Streaks. I have availed myself of a variety of Aura programs since I joined, and I have not missed a day since my free trial ended. Nevertheless, my streaks have recalibrated a number of times, so I’ve appeared to be starting over. If the automatic streak count is meant to motivate continued participation, then something should be done to ensure its accuracy. I emailed once about this and was told by Ellora that I must click “Done” at the end of every session to guarantee streak credit, but that isn’t always an obvious option; moreover, I don’t want to have to do so at the end of a sleep-inducing/enhancing session. The Calm app counts both minutes and days without one having to click a “Done” button. Maybe one of Aura’s programmers should talk to someone at Calm to find out how it’s done.

This app relies on you paying for a membership. Now I completely understand that you need to make cash, especially with an app like this. But when I pay for the 5 dollar a month deal FOR A YEAR, I expect to pay 5 dollars a month until that year is up for a total of 60 something dollars. But instead of that happening, which is the NORMAL for most apps, they charged my card the entirety of the 60 dollars at once. I didn’t have the cash, just the 5 something dollars to pay, so luckily it couldn’t take anything out but if I did have to cash then I would’ve been screwed and 60 dollars would’ve been pulled out at once, instead of the 5 dollars A MONTH that they fraudulently offer. They should at least say outright that it will be 5 dollars a month for a total of 60 right now, instead of making it seem like you’re only paying 5 dollars right now.

It’s a trap... don’t bother. If budgetary limits are in your life... save your time... I have had this app for about a month now, the only thing I’ve been able to put myself to sleep with is scrolling over all of the locked content. I kept thinking they’d add some free content or maybe I was looking in the wrong place, so I hadn’t given up yet... but the romance is gone, and it’s over as of today. I seriously haven’t been able to do anything with it other then take up memory on my watch and phone. Every meditation, story, music, even nature sounds- a “premium feature”. So if you’re looking to pay for a subscription, sure, go for it. If you can’t swing the fees, seriously don’t waste your time like they’ve wasted mine. I just wish the maker would have been honest to begin with, that’s what makes me frustrated. “Hey great free app! Just kidding it’s all subscriptions.” Not cool guys... bait n switch is plainly bad form.

Calming. I suffer from stress and anxiety. I also have tinnitus which makes relaxing very difficult. I have endured years of tension due to personal reasons, but the point is that I am ALWAYS tense. I have been using this app for only two days and when I’m stressed, I can always find something that brings me peace. I wake with a calming morning prayer that sets my mind for the day. Then throughout the day I may listen to some mature sounds or meditation, and going to sleep is the hardest for me. I have always had insomnia and the ringing in the ears is unsettling. I do take melatonin, but the guided sleep messages are so helpful in letting me relax myself to fall asleep. I have even begun walking before my alarm, feeling rested.

Music playing in the background. I’ve only had Aura for a couple of months, and I have found some good tracks. However as I explore the app more and more I am realizing the same music is playing in the background on many of the asmr, meditation, or prayer tracks. Why?? It’s annoying to get excited that I have found a new track to listen to, only to find out it’s the exact same music - again and again. And I just started a prayer track and not only is it the same music, the volume of the music is so loud I can barely hear the lady speaking the prayer. It’s so frustrating because I bought a year subscription and initially found some good content but now I’m not sure this app is for me.

This app is like having professionals in your home whenever you need them!!. This is the best app I have used! I would recommend it for anyone! Minimal stress to high stress. Little anxious to chronic anxiety. Just need to relax, use it! Need to meditate, use it! Family or money concerns, use it! Mental health issues, use it! Just everyday encouragement, use it! If you need to go to counseling- do it, but this is something you can use in between. I have found I do not miss a day without listening to something or re-listening to a favorite. It’s there when I need it or not! Just listen and find your peace, mojo or whatever you need!

Join and do something wonderful for yourself. I had heard of Aura and visited the site from time to time over the past few months. But I kept putting aside the action of actually joining. I was talking to a friend and decided to gift her a membership for 1 year and in doing so I thought I should take the leap and do something nice for myself so I finally joined too. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I did. The guidance of the various coaches here is really priceless. I now use this app every day, sometimes multiple times a day. In such a short period of time it’s helped me to correct my course in life and have faith in myself. I have an AMAZING coach who is just perfect for me. Perfect! I feel like I’m back on track doing what I was meant to do all along. This is a very small amount of money to pay for all of the guidance you’ll receive from everyone and everything in this app. You’ll be investing in yourself, investing in your life. Aren’t you and your life, your happiness worth a small investment? Yes, you are. Your life is waiting.

Were it not for Jiva I’d be out…. Seems like I’m the only person not crazy about this app. I find it bloated with meaningless congratulations and levels whose graphics just fill up space and time. Also not so pleased that they automatically enroll you in the most expensive versions of their subscriptions either, that is unless they’ve recently introduced lower tiered subscriptions that were unavailable when I signed up. That said, I know of no other apps that do it better, and even though I’ve found only one coach that I don’t find to be cloying and artificially dramatic, I’ve become dependent enough on her (Jiva - thank you) bedtime stories (and also like some of her meditation tracks) that I do feel it is still worth the subscription.

Unbelievable. This app makes me actually relax and be at peace. I am able to focus on my life, and I am learning how to make changes and implement those in my life. This app has helped me so much.I have severe depression. two months ago I wanted to die. With my new psychiatrist, changing the medicine that I was on and using this app has made such a difference, I am learning to be at peace. I am learning to think clearly and live in reality and live in the present. I am learning how to change the negative things in my life and my negative thoughts. I am actually looking forward to every day and the rest of my life.

Rox1992!. Love this app. Been using this for 5 years now. Mediation every day clears your mind and worries. You go through a day calm and yea some days are challenging but you get through it so much easier when you mediate before you start your day. Idk it’s like this app and mediation help you deal with everyday stressor in a calm way vs the way you would usually deal with stress. Like when I’m at work and I get stuck with a difficult task or if someone is straight out rude, I don’t let it bother me at all for the rest of the day because I realize it ain’t me it’s them. vs before I would let it bother me all day. This app really help me heal my soul.

Good app terrible customer service. I should’ve listened to the reviews. Not only is it difficult to cancel which I’ve done with many apps with no issues instead of cancelling trial which I specifically tapped on multiple times it some how upgraded me to a family membership and charged me $119 which I never agreed to. Then they send me a message saying I upgraded. WTH!? Now I’m waiting for a refund a week later which I wrote and specifically asked for only to get the response of “please let us know if you want to cancel”?!?! What??? Are you serious? If someone writes to request to cancel you come back with a please let us know? Yes crook I want to cancel… no I did not accidentally upgrade I specially tapped cancel… the app is nice I just decided I didn’t have room in my budget. I thought I’d come back to it later but after this never again. Please give me my money back

I hate endorsing things. I have been seeing people all around instagram with their fake posts like “trying to sleep without my Aura app” then their eyes are red and puffy. And I always thought it was stupid but, I’ve been having some really bad anxiety and was willing to try anything. So I tried it and it is amazing. I actually and genuinely love it. I can journal about how I feel. If you answer how you feel at the moment they’ll pair you with a quick 3 minute session to calm down or relax or hear some self love tactics or really anything because that’s how awesome this app is. I hate endorsing or promoting things but, this. This app the Aura app is legit and it works I’m serious. Get this.

Incredibly helpful. I was pretty skeptical when I first tried it but it honestly helps me sleep better, slow down my mind, and I’ve used the sleep hypnosis for fear of heights - which I was surprised to realize was working as I was halfway across a large bridge and was able to look out my window without feeling any anxiety. Seems silly but I noticed myself having a better mood/being more patient during my work day after using the positive attitude hypnosis for a few days consistently. I just get better sleep when I use it. I’m usually asleep before they start the affirmations.

I really wanted to love it!. Aura should announce that it is a paid service upfront before beginning with video showing amazing tools and an app registration process. After all of that, you *then^ get to a fee page. I was unsure whether I accidentally enrolled which caused a delay in me finally then get a chance to use this pretty cool app only to quickly learn that little is available to “free” users and you can’t access the heart of the tool without becoming a member for $60 per year! I then had to justify spending $60 with so many other free apps that are readily available...just not all tied up in a pretty “Aura” bow linking all of the tools. This took me out of my Zen mood which I initially came to Aura for and my frustration led me to deleting and deactivating! I REALLY wanted to LOVE it...but I honestly didn’t get a chance to use it.

Kept Closing Out Right as I Opened It. The app didn't even let me load it. I would click on it and be kicked right out! All I saw was a pretty blue screen with the title on it. I would have loved to explore this app, and it has thousands of great reviews, but I couldn't even try it out. If this is fixed soon, I may change this review and write another one. I am very disappointed. I read at least 14 reviews and they were all so positive and sweet. I was ready for the experience of getting to sleep on time, or at least felling more relaxed, but I couldn't even get in. I hope that this is only happening to me because I'm sure this isn't normal, but I really wish it wasn't closing out like that. The app crashing so soon can't be normal, but I tried to open it at least 7 times and each time it crashed within 1 second. Please fix this, or figure out what is going on. This app sounds so good, I would like to be able to actually open it. :)

Wow. Within five minutes I was able to see that this is worth every penny I have tried getting on better help and every other therapy app out there - I was turned down , feeling very broken.. after one listen to a therapy section on burnout I realize it is something I can fix , I just need the right tools. So many of these apps have turned it into a money making machine which has ultimately caused more trauma for me. Thank you. I will be paying for the full year when it is time. So worth it. You can tell they genuinely want to help others. It’s not about the money. Which makes it worth the money.

Great App, Worth It!. I purchased a free trial of this app, not really intending to go past the week with it. But are the annual charge went through, I decided to really commit to using it, and it’s been a very helpful tool in my life. I use it to work through anxiety or restlessness at night by listening to stories that help me get to sleep. I use it to ground myself in the morning with a quick meditation. And more recently I’ve been seeing workshops and gatherings I’d like to use to connect with others and continuously learn on my healing journey. I recommend this app to highly sensitive people, empaths, trauma survivors, and anyone just needing a healing resource.

This app does weird stuff. I have my playlists made to last and play for more than I sleep, yet my recently played and finished shows stupid junk I’d NEVER listen to. And even though I have gone through and tried to clean up those lists by “trashing” the tracks, they never disappear. And how and when they’re playing is a mystery that I’d love to know. Update: I have emailed y’all and I was asked to tell y’all about every unwanted track that played. There’s about 30 or 40. Maybe more. I don’t want to spend my entire day typing them all out in an email, toggling back and forth on my phone. And if I can send screenshot- who knows because I’m still waiting to hear back from my initial email to you.

VERY VERY PEACEFUL!😌. This app is amazing. I just got it because I felt myself getting very depressed. I went from wanting to die everyday to being a calm and chill person. I hold things in a lot but this has changed me so I don’t have to vent out on others. I was feeling very unsafe anywhere one day and was about to run away, when I decided to use this app. I calmed down with the meditation and peaceful sounds. I was able to focus on homework too! Even though I don’t have Aura premium, this app helps me anyway. I like the setup of it, but I wish it wasn’t so restricted, saying I have to buy premium to get it. I don’t need to use the app a lot anyway because I am very busy. I am happy with this app and can focus on what matters now. Get it! Try it! Love it!

Anytime anywhere connecting with myself. The treasure trove of guides, approaches, distinct voices, experience and commitment to wellbeing, spiritual emotional physical health is extraordinary. It’s like a little pocket guide I can open at anytime and be in the right place. Inclusive, totally user friendly and tracking mood w brief feedback and journaling is just the right blend. Sessions are super short, short, medium and longer. The world needs this. I’ll start with myself. Relatively new to hypnosis my experiences with these therapists guides and teachers if you will, has been both a pleasure and compelling. You can create your playlists and files and revisit as often as you like .

I Love everything so far,. I’m rather new to the app and the level of customer service is nothing short of amazing and Professional. They are extremely fast to reply and quick to help. I’m completely happy with this app and I would recommend to friends and family. Developers; I do have a question about feature developments and if you’ll have an app for the Apple Watch in the future also. I think it would really help track sleeping patterns. I sleep walk (and eat/cook/clean) and it can be dangerous because I don’t know what I’m doing at night. And obviously I know it may not know I’m not awake but I’d be able to see the movement and know at least I was up and moving.

7 day trial, 3 days in. So far I’m happy with everything that I’ve tried, especially the sleep section…since I wasn’t getting any, the first night I was too wired for some reason and got no sleep, however, the relaxing and calmness that came over me was just mind blowing 🤯 I haven’t had that in a long time. 2nd and 3rd night were much better, I actually slept!! I don’t want to just focus on the sleeping part, I had other areas that I wanted to give a try, so I could really give Aura a good test drive! Now, I just started my 4th day and so far I’ve tried the Anger, Anxiety, Breathing, Guided Meditation. I’m happy. Thanks Aura!!

Could be a lot better. 1) there’s no way to ‘try out’ the sounds just by holding your finger over the sound. To try each one, you have to go into it, assign a timeframe and THEN hit play. & if you don’t like it you have to close out of the sound and start the process all over. - Small but this is not for the person who likes to mix it up. 2) I love the consistency of the sound of water falls, hard rain, etc. Only in those sound styles was there an annoying burst that would sound like a single pebble dropping on a hard plastic surface. It about drove me crazy. Favorite thing by far was the ‘calming approach’ of the app itself. Kudos on the graphics, color scheme, fonts etc. stinks bc I really wanted to use this app bc of that, but they def need to work on some UX (user experience) pain points.

Too expensive. I love the app !!! Everything about it I’ve loved !!! Except it literally broke my bank to get it... unless I suddenly can work again and can get off social security then I’ll be able to re-sub... unfortunately unstylish I don’t see that happening and people like me could really benefit from this app the most . I am 25 a single mom of 2. Had a stroke and brain aneurysm while pregnant with my 3rd daughter. I have PTSD Major anxiety and Major depression disorders. On top of physical limitations .(zero equilibrium) and meditation and self awareness is the only thing that keeps me out of Counceling and off of prescribed medications. Apps like this should be much more affordable . Well... I wish they were...

Money hungry app. I signed up under the “pay what you can” one week trial. The app says that it will notify you on day 5, when you will be charged for a subscription. I got no such notification. In fact I can’t even seem to find a easy access way to unsubscribe. I was unaware that my account was going to be charged $60 for a year long subscription after the 7 day trial. I honestly was expecting some form of notification asking or telling me that was what I sighed up for. So over the holiday weekend I was charged and my bank account overdrawn. This app doesn’t have a user friendly subscription tier option. And compared to past apps I’ve used that make access to subscriptions easy. I now feel this app was a little too eager to charge without any notification or easy way to cancel my “free trial” before it ended. I have been refunded, no questions asked. So there’s a red flag.

Buggy. First let me say I still love this app. But I am getting a little tired of the bugs. For example, my seven minute meditation ended after 3 minutes even though the meditation was still playing in the background - there were multiple things playing on top of one another. The favorite button will pulse but not actually let you favorite things. The gratitude journal - which I LOVE - doesn’t seem to work half the time unless I quit the app and reopen it. There is no rhyme or reason to why things work perfectly one day and the next they are a big pain. The bugs need to be fixed if I’m going to keep paying for this. *** This app is wonderful. It is changing my life. It’s the first one that I have found incredibly helpful in learning meditation. I love the relaxing sounds, too. It’s just amazingly well done.

So far so good. This app offers me exactly what I have been searching for. In a busy, fast-paced life with raising three kids and being a working mom, I find myself tense and often reactive in certain situations. I feel overstimulated with technology and preoccupied at times when I need to be more present with my family in everyday life. I am trying to start a journey of mindfulness to be less anxious, self accepting, and ultimately happier. I also want something to help me on a daily basis to regain focus on the important people and matters in my life so that I can give gratitude, be more generous and helpful to those around me, etc. I have used this app for 2 days and have already found it worth using and effective.

Kind of bland & predictable. After 10 days of using Aura, I was feeling slightly annoyed and wasn’t looking forward to listening to the same style of stories and “waiting room” background noise. The messages offered as insights were rather bland and predictable like Hallmark Cards and tea bag tags type messages. “Just bring your thoughts back” or “honor your feelings” and “notice the sensation” felt like platitudes and condescending advice. There seemed to be a lethargy and dull sleepiness in the way the stories and instructions were delivered as if the speaker was taking a Valium or some mellowing out drug that rather than provide me with a calmness, it generated a feeling of blandness and who cares. I appreciate the free trial to try it out and learn that it’s not something I desire to continue doing.

Disappointed. This app has great potential but it comes with a price. Literally. To use most of the genuinely helpful features on the app you have to pay and become a member. And they remind you of this every two seconds. Any time you press a button a pop up shows up informing you to sign up for the membership, which isn’t necessarily cheap. The app give you the absolute bare minimum without a membership. You only have one option to choose out of all the feelings which is feeling ‘okay’. There are many individuals in this world where feeling okay is such a rarity and genuinely need the options for the other emotions. For an app who’s main goal is to improve your overall well being, it does a very poor job of doing it. It’s disappointing to finally have an app that can help you defeat your demons but you can’t use because the creators are greedy for money.

Amazing. I’ve been feeling very happy but sad too since my boyfriend and I have chose to take space from talking, and our relationship right now. After listening half way through my first talk meditation on here my breathing started to slow and become deeper, I started to feel a greater sense of peace and calm. I needed a friend and to be seen, but didn’t have the energy to make a call, or speak, this was perfect — I feel so grateful and much better than before. The outer experience hasn’t change but my inner perspective has. And I feel okay / good. Thanks, and highly recommend to anyone who is needing some deeper peace 🌷💖❤️ Love and support, Rai

Frustrating issue. I like the variety of the content, the music and sounds are very helpful in getting better sleep. The meditation and mindful talks are very frustrating for me, though. The background music and sounds drown out the words that are spoken making it very difficult to understand and follow. I am very disappointed with this issue. I turn most of these off and just go back to music and sounds for relaxation. I hope they address this, otherwise, I may look for an alternative app. UPDATE: I played around with the app and found the settings to lower the volume on the background sounds / music. Much better!

Aura is a Life Saver. I am at a place in my life where Aura is needed. I mean, I’ll always need it, we all do, but I’m struggling right now, and I’m not even certain why. I just feel stuck in life. I have the life I’ve wanted, but I’m not exactly where I want to be. It’s the second time in my life I’ve been out of shape (first was at 21, after I had my baby), I’m depressed for no reason, I can’t seem to save money right now, I’m trying to do too much at once, I’m exhausted, I’m no longer happy at my current occupation, etc. Aura is helping me with all this. I absolutely love ASMR, hypnotherapy, meditation and all that fun stuff, so AURA is perfect for me. I enjoy the lives, too.

MY NEW INFINITE LEASE ON LIFE. I don’t recall how I stumbled upon this wonderful NEW INSIGHTFUL WORLD. All I remember is that I was researching the word “AURA”, and I was immediately drawn in…to this WORLD. I feel like I have discovered a WHOLE NEW ME. The REAL me in the NOW and PRESENT MOMENT. I had only subscribed to an individual account and felt so compelled to share this with my beloved FAMILY… I think I shared an episode with my daughter and she instantly connected and wanted more. So I UPGRADED to the as to include her with her own JOURNEY of GUIDANCE and HEALING! She is loving it. We both purchased an sleep mask with Bluetooth so we could enjoy privately. I can honestly say I have had some of the BEST SLEEP EVER! Thank you so much for this beautiful AURA!!!!!!!!

Supportive options for so many situations. I’ve been using the app in the mornings and evenings as the basis of practice to help manage anxiety. So far, I’ve been very pleased with everything I’ve and am excited to explore other options that are new to me. With so many choices - therapy types, practitioners, program lengths, styles - it can feel a little overwhelming to navigate at first but let that give you license to just explore. After some exploration, I recommend using the filters to hide the options that weren’t for you so you can more easily dig into what does work for you. There truly is something for everyone here so spend some time with it. It is worth it.

High Quality App, Best out there!. I don't ever write reviews, but felt compelled with this Aura App. I absolutely love Aura. I think it is the best app out there, and I’m so grateful to have found it. (tried some of the others, no comparison) The quality of every track, variety and quantity is invaluable. Please keep up the great work. I wish more people knew about this App because I think the positive influence it has is wonderful. I love the fact that you can attend live sessions, and honestly, when I was going through a tough time and trapped at home, it was comforting to have a “live” person on the other end to teach the session. Thank you for this App. It really helped me during my challenging time. I still suffer now from insomnia so it’s my go-to during those difficult nights. Just wanted to let you know your App is making an impact. I now really love to start my day with your Gratitude meditations and also know there are so many other tracks available no matter what I’m going through.

Finally!. I have research and tried so may mediation apps over the last year and finally found Aura. What sets this app apart is that it is a community of talent with variety. There are so many choices that allow me to choose meditations based upon what I need at that time or what I choose to pursue. The talent here are full time practitioners that are building their own brands on and off the app, so there are options to even go deeper. Every other app forces me to listen to the topic they want me to listen to today and with the same single voice. Thank you Aura. I hope you stay this course. You feel like a meditation platform or channel. I hope you continue to grow.

Unbelievable!!. You know. After months and months of depression. Not feeling like I have a purpose, low energy, and seeking refuge into something meaningful. It’s almost embarrassing to admit, but this app has truly changed my life. These simple exercises, the quotes, the stories, people’s comments. It gives perspective, it gives you hope, the community in itself, you don’t feel alone, and this app puts you on the forefront. It’s all about you and making you feel important! I would like to say thank you So Much to every single person that helped create this app in any shape or form! I will forever be grateful. Thank you! 10 stars out of 5!

I am really enjoying it so far!. The few I’ve tried have been great, I’m on the free trial, and sad I am unable to afford to get their subscription 😩 and I don’t mean that as in I think it’s too expensive, I wholly believe the content and support they provide is worth every cent, if not more! I just do not possess the actual funds at this time, however, I will be purchasing it as soon as I can! I fell asleep quicker than I can even register last night and woke up this morning, and realized I didn’t wake up a single time last night. AND THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME!! This app is amazing to say the least.

A bit pricey for what you get. Aura seems like it’s copying Insight Timer which has been around for a looong time and also an app you can use for free with a massive amount of meditations, music and courses. I wouldn’t say I don’t like Aura but I choose Insight over Aura due to the teacher, guide options and the price is better. Aura is pretty pricey for what’s offered. The sleep meditations and music from Insight work for me every time so why switch? From Aura’s ad I saw I thought it would be better for sleep but once on the app I couldn’t even find the same music they were advertising in the ad I saw so that alone was frustrating. I tried looking for it for a while too. I ended my trial and unless they offer a cheaper version I won’t be using it and recommend Insight Timer over Aura.

Great Beginner Meditation App. This app is great for beginners or anyone with a short attention span. It helps beginners with guided meditation techniques and has reminders you can set to remember to meditate. It also keeps track of streaks and notes achievements (like logging your gratitude journal or completing meditation for 3 days in a row) which encourages the user to use it regularly. I wish you could unlock longer meditations or you could get bonus meditations by hitting a streak like 7 days, 14 days or something. I also wish more categories were available on the free version of the app. It was a bummer to see how many of the goals for meditation are limited on the free version. Overall, I definitely recommend!

Peaceful perfection. I bought this app to help me sleep and to learn to meditate. It has very pleasantly exceeded my expectations...by far! There is so much more to this app than I realized. I have found there is something for every aspect of life. I am an ocean lover. I also listen to rain sounds often. The nature sounds are extremely realistic. There’s also a personal touch that’s very warming. It’s not “just some app” controlled by a faceless computer somewhere. (I hope that makes sense.) I have thoroughly enjoyed this app on many levels. I see myself keeping it for as long as it stays available. I only wish knew about it sooner. ☺️

Ridiculous Site. Initially I thought this site would provide unending sounds of rain to aid my insomnia - wrong! It’s a new age silly way of getting you to subscribe to their meditation guides. Like a 3 minute meditation session is going to treat insomnia where I can be sleepless for >3 hours! And, you can’t bypass this idiotic “recommendation” for a session. Oh no, you HAVE to listen about this dumb monkey choosing an apple in the jungle and how this reminds us to let go. But sure, yeah this is going to help me sleep.....if this is what humanity has chosen to deal with its’ problems it’s no wonder we are obsessed with a “Kardashian-West” mindset to follow. And, isn’t it sad that I found that reference as a suggestion in my phone. No matter how plastic their lives are; they are passing that insanity and lifestyle to their children....and, yes it’s 3:49am, I have insomnia leading to the above diatribe having listened to a forced meditation about a dumb monkey & an apple.
