App removes customization. BE CAREFUL, this version of the app removes any ingredient customization when you place the order, you will not be charged more but your order will be wrong and the restaurant will blame the app and do nothing about it!!!! I know this is McDonads and there is no need for good customer service, but guys if the app is not ready, no problem, get it ready and release it.

Terrible app. Tells me I’ve used deals I haven’t used.. Won’t allow me to use daily deals I’ve used yesterday. Also using deals at window sometimes tells me I have to wait 15 minutes before using the deal as if I just used a deal when I haven’t. Terrible app, should get fixed…

5 star service. Wow I love the service and the people are very quick and this is why McDonald’s is the best

Access. Have the app, built up points, now it won’t let me sign in anymore. Soooooooo frustrating!!!! I even had trouble sending this. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Doesn’t work. For the past month now I can’t get this app to work. Nothing gets added to my bag so I can’t check out or order from the app at all. Please fix!

Should be labeled as Non-US version so others don't waste their time. How is a US version of this app not available when it's on the iOS store? Wasn't being able to run iOS apps one of the selling points of M1? Very disappointing.

App Failure. After I earned almost 6000 points the App just died on me!! Can't log in to my App anymore no matter how hard I have tried. I have to create a new account and start from the beginning. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! The App did saved me money though and that is the awesome part. Guess they can take away your hard working awards anytime they wants to.

Unable to use. This app works occasionally. The tutorial for the rewards keeps popping up and there is no way to exit. Several times now I’ve been able to use a deal because I can’t get out of the stupid tutorial

Bad Update. This new update is horrible. The app crashes before it even loads. The previous version worked fine but they made you update or else you couldn’t use the app. Pointless update if it doesn’t even work

Doesn’t Process Orders. This app is so horrible that I can’t even complete an order because it takes over 15 minutes to process an order, that never happens. I was standing in the middle of the restaurant, the app said I wasn’t even close to the restaurant. It’s one of the worst apps out there.

I’m poor that’s why we need more coupons. I’m from PR I just wanna say I love your offers there are a great price I just think we need more of a variety and mixes of combos. Thank you hope you read !

Keep it simple, put the checkout bag back. The newest update eliminated the bag to check out, if you would stop changing options, and keep it as simple as possible. It would eliminate the need for future updates. Keeping it simple, Stupid!

apple's fault for 1 star. so i downloaded this "for iphone only" app on my Mac silicon thiniing Rosetta2 would kick in and i would be able to enjoy ordering food on my Mac. So I was able to download but for some reason the app only is for latin american countries the USA is not an option. I truly regret being an early adopter of Apple Silicon - nothing and I mean NOTHING seems to work as advertised.

40 minutes wasted. I can't express how disappointing my recent experience with this app was. My husband and I decided to give it a try and ordered food for pickup via the app, thinking it would be a quick and convenient process. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. We chose the option to pick up our order at a designated parking spot. However, after waiting for a whopping 40 minutes, we decided to inquire about our order's status. To our shock, the manager, who we approached first, claimed she hadn't received our order. Despite showing her the app confirmation, she insisted there was no record of our order. Rather than trying to find a solution, she left us feeling frustrated and ignored. Desperate to salvage the situation, I approached another employee who finally took our order. However, due to the app's limitations, our selections were not displayed accurately, resulting in an incorrect order. To make matters worse, one of the sides we ordered, clearly indicated in the app, was missing from our package. Exasperated and feeling let down, we decided to cut our losses and leave. Adding to our frustration was the lack of in-app customer service. Instead, users are required to make a phone call, which only added to our inconvenience. This experience has left me disheartened, and I've decided I won't be using this app anymore. It was a huge disappointment, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others.

Please help. I tried to order my food from this app but it just gives me nutritional facts about the food and I just want to order. Am I doing something wrong?

Great overall. Very handy app

Don’t bother!. Whatever they did to change it isn’t working. Can’t select country. Can’t X out of screen. Lost my deals/rewards. Won’t let you see any other screen. Pop ups won’t clear off!!

I don’t see my cart. Been using the app for a while and love it!!lots of points to build so easily, great deals, etc. but for the last few weeks I can’t seem to see the things I add to my cart. I’ll press add, but Idobt see where my items are added to anymore. Please fix this problem. This is a great app. Just inconvenient right now.

Cant Order Breakfast. So this morning i started an order from the app , asked each one of my family members what they wanted and placed an order. I left the house 5 mins later (already paid and the app was trying to give directions). As soon as i am about to turn into the restaurant, the app tells me my order was cancelled. Ive never had this happen to me. I know they have time to start the order what happened to the food ? The manager of the store had to be the one to do this. Never going to this location again, Thanks for nothing. (Still waiting for refund)

Offer coupon. Please note offer coupons may mot work because it does not show on the system

Need better software. The deals on the app are amazing but very hard to get to them because there’s always connectivity issues unless I’m connected to wifi. For a company as big as McDonalds you’d think they’d be able to afford good software.

They forget about you!!!!!. Every time I order on the application to eat at the store, the order doesn’t arrive!!! I need to ask after 15 to 20 minutes and the staff have no idea about the order.

Ridiculous. What a waste of time. They don’t allow you to use a password. You have to verify through email every time you want to use. Why aggravate your customers? It should be easy to spend money at McDonald’s with their app. Not so here.

Not my country. Look if I could do 0 star I would when it was starting it says select your country so I was looking for my country then there is not my country and my country has the most McDonald’s I think I am from United States I will get it only if you bring United States and the 5 star reviews are fake

Good app, major nagger. It's overall a good app, and decent experience, except for one small detail. STOP. ASKING. FOR. MY. LOCATION. It's not a "ask every time the app starts," which is annoying, but tolerable. No. It's more akin "ask every time you touch anything around the app at least once, but sometimes 2," which is incredibly annoying, and puts me off both using the app and going to the stores. Just opened it to check the coupons, and it asked me 4 times to allow them to track me. That's beyond reasonable.

Works 25% of the time. As a college student I take pride in my late night McDonalds. Nothing is more disappointing then a night out with the boys and the McD app won’t work. Hate it. Ruins my night. Don’t even want to chase female tail anymore more. I need my McD. Please fix. Also what’s up with these horrible deals. Why can’t I stack point rewards also. Please rework this system. (as if you’re actually going to see this review)

Never received my order. I order on the app and when I go to automac the cashier says my order wasn’t in the system and I never received my refund.

Cannot Sign-in To Existing Account. I’ve been using the app for years without issues. Then stopped showing Deals. Decided to remove and reinstall app. Now it won’t allow me to sign-in and register my device. I’m tech savvy, but this is ridiculous. Great app when works and signed in.

Non-US Version. At least mark this as non-US. Go looking for McDonalds and the links all point to using 'the app', but 'the app' is not for the United States. Disappointing. And McDonalds... you are loosing money because people don't want to wrestle with finding the right version, they just want to order their Big Macs and McRibs in a no-fuss manner. Moving on to another resteraunt....

I don’t want to rate every time. The rate your order pop up is really annoying. Please add a no thanks button. I’m not interested in rating my experience every single time. It should be voluntary, but when I close the notification it keeps popping up. Until you fix this I would be rating it one star every time.

Not working. This app has not worked on my iPhone for a month. I’ve tried everything and now it’s stuck on “select your country “ the United States is not on there!!!

Can’t use points after app stopped working!!!. I earned several points that were about to expire, so opened the app to use them and it wont let me log in no matter what I do. It sends me a link to my email, then that link sends me back to the reset password page, which sends me the link to my email again. It’s stuck in a constant loop. Lost a lot of points over this. This needs to be resolved!

Points lock out. This happened 3 times already so it’s not a glitch it’s smart software every time I reach over 6k points locked out app nothing works Macdonalds only solution is re install the app re install the app they know what they doing people

Refund Warning. Refunds are not processed through McDonalds support or the app. If you don’t get your item ordered through the app, support will tell you it is out of their hands and up to the franchise. The franchise will tell you to contact support and your money will never be refunded. Occurred to me once, won’t occur to me again. If you want to order, order in person not the app.

Would be a 5 star rating but….. I really like the perks of this app and think it’s super convenient, but the way the app is set up I can’t add the condiments I want to a sandwich for a custom order when I place an online order. Make it so I can add Mac sauce to my bacon McDouble when ordering online and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars

Not worth the space. There are decent deals but the app says error when I try to log in so I can’t use them. I deleted the app because it just doesn’t work.

Funny, I JUST LOST MY POINTS TOO. How can a corporation this big have the worst app on the internet? If it’s not telling me I can’t order something at 4:30 pm because it’s breakfast it’s telling me I can’t order at all because it’s not open as people pick up their orders at the drive-thru. NOW I GET A MESSAGE SAYING MY POINTS (a lot of points) ARE ABOUT TI EXPIRE and when I stop the next day, NOTHING. Can’t order, can’t check my points can’t even log in again, NOTHING! It’s like the app doesn’t even know who I am? WAIT, why don’t I just reinstall the app and return to McDonald Land? Well, because I can’t get past the “Country” part of set up BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA ISN'T AN OPTION! Are you freaking kidding me McDonald’s? You know what else is funny? This never happens at Wendy’s….

From bad to worse. For years have had problems with having to verify location multiple time when placing an order. It would occasionally crash when placing an order. App is in unnecessarily confusing when try to make a change to regular order. So today app said I was logged out. Tried to sign in and got error message. Tried to create me account and app says I am not connected to internet. Deleted and reinstalled and now there is no option to select US as the country. Sigh. So much for software testing.

This is McD’s FOR LATIN AMERICA People!. I had to download the app just so I could get on and warn people this is the wrong app. I have had the McD’s app for years and when I looked I was expecting to see the OPEN button, if at the very least a cloud with a down arrow. But no, it was the regular download button. I figured it was some specialty app for deals. That is until I read the reviews with everyone complaining. I scrolled to the top and sure enough it’s for Latin America. That’s why you all are having so many problems… because it’s meant for South America locations and you are picking up from the US mostly I’m presuming?? The app is confused and that’s why the orders are getting canceled and points taken away - cause they’re not validly earned not valid to cash in here. I hope someone benefits from this. Much💞 Oh, and I have never once had a single problem with the real McDonald’s app for Americans and maybe Canadians, but they probably have their own app too people. The app doesn’t let me order pickup on my local McDonald!. This is very disappointing and I would expect more for a fast food restaurant like McDonalds. It only lets me order SOMETIMES and not even in my local McDonalds, one 42 miles away!

Absolutely scrumptious. I ordered here on one rainy afternoon after I got home from busting and thrusting. Mind you I was on my diet so I decided to only order 4 big Mac’s, 3 fish filets, 7 fries, and 12 quarter pounders, and my extra extra extra large Diet Coke (less than what I usually order) First of all, they threw in an extra 2 pounds in with my quarter pounder. I was taking my big snivel of my fish filet and I could feel the extra long and gurthy particles of the fish veins. The guy who delivered my food started thrusting on my food outside. He said he wanted to put on a show for me but I’ve seen better. As a proud man, I support his life choices by becoming a gay McDonalds worker that thrusts on their meals. It really adds that extra flavor and zest. Because of him I’ve decided to become a woman. I have yet to find that man/woman/nonbinary that changes my life for the better. Sincerely Raiden 🏳️‍🌈🫃🏼🫃🏼

Problems. Says extra when it gives options to add sauces to sandwiches. Also it sometimes doesn’t let you add max sauce or sometimes doesn’t let you add mayonnaise. Also when I order through the app it sometimes only gives me the option to go through the drive through so not too happy with it

One star for deals, -4 for everything else. This app is consistently failing. Now there is no cart to check out. I assume this is since the last update. Do you not realize that orders cannot be placed through the app? Or perhaps this is another ploy as with the menu pricing that is anything but consistent!

US CARDS DO NOT WORK!!. If you are visiting Colombia South America your US card does not work! Why there is a card restriction seems silly and beyond me and I hope you fix this because this is just not it.

bad security, not worth it. i used this app and loved it. then someone somehow started ordering meals in florida from my account. support didn’t want to help me or refund me, they wanted me to contact my bank even though the hacker had my mcdonald’s account, not my info. needs two-factor authentication, until then i’ll never trust mcdonald’s with my information.

DEVELOPER RESPONSE. I commented in June 2023 how the app isn’t working. Developer Response was a copy/paste reply to a comment on different topic, I made in 2022.
