Worth it. This is the best star app I have ever seen. You can scroll around the sky manually or tilt your phone to show the position of the stars and even the sun and moon. You can also change the level of “light pollution” to see more or less stars. Tapping on a celestial body yields more information (this is the part where you get ads- Mostly banners.) The planets also show up! Even the fabled planet 9 makes an appearance (no, not pluto :( ) constellations and stars are named, and are traced out as you look at them. An unobtrusive picture of what the constellation “looks” like also appears. This is so useful!!! Here later, while taking an astronomy class: Honestly, I don’t think I could love an app more. There’s so much detail put into everything. Without the little alerts, I never would have noticed the goings on in the night sky, and might’ve never even taken the class! 10/5, absolutely the best. I use this often enough that the app has probably gotten more money from the ads (which only show up when you tap on a star, and even then not every time) than they would if I just bought the full version.

ads. You did not read my comment. My version of starwalk 2 was not useable. ads disabled the app... I guess you designed that feature as well? Confusing. I did revert to your previous version which is also free and deleted the current version we are discussing. "We are sorry that ads spoil your impression of the app. We appreciate our users and created 2 versions (free ad-supported and paid with no ads) of Star Walk 2 to give them the opportunity to try the app without paying for it. A lot of users enjoy the free version regardless of advertising. Having a choice between the paid and free but ad-supported version is better than not even being able to try the app without purchasing it... Hope you understand." cant attempt to test it, ads kill the app... thank you for the response. I do understand it is free and “ad supported”... but that is misleading. It is more like the app supports the ads. You dont have to annoy people into buying your real version... simple ignorant (ignorant... not stupid) responses such as the one you provided, they simply make us hold the app and press “x”. You should delete this rating, because others will see where I am coming from. Thanks for the response and the app. I will find another.

The Solar System in Your Hand. I’ve always enjoyed going to the Hubble website & thanks to this app I’ve got that & so much more all in my hand. Thanks to this app I can find anything in the night sky in a matter of seconds & everything I want to know about what I’m searching for as well. This app gives you access to so much information so quickly I can’t list everything. Weather you are looking for information on the stars, planets, comets, solar eclipse or the solar system this app has it all & the best thing of all, it’s all in the palm of your hand. How could Anyone ask for more.

I like it but there are missing things. I absolutely love this app. It lets me know where everything is in the sky, however, there are a few missing things, such as the Needle Galaxy, 2 of the 3 stars in the Alpha Centari star system, or the Pillars of Creation. Also, some things are named by their designation like the NGC, HR, or HIP names for stars, nebulas, star clusters, and galaxies, instead of the popular names that people call them, like NGC 1999 which is often referred to as the Cosmic Keyhole. I still have it 5 stars because of how much I love this app however. But I would like it for you to add some more things as well as change the names of some things as well.

Doesn’t track Orbital Reflector. I downloaded this app to track the Orbital Reflector and this feature definitely doesn’t work. It will display it rising in the southern sky and then setting in the northern sky 3 minutes later. I’ve tried on multiple nights to view it. If you leave the app open for too long the tracking looses function. So instead, I’ll close the app, refresh it, and it shows the object in a completely different place in the sky. There’s no way it traveled across the night sky in 3 minutes. What a crappy app! I was told this is the app to use in order to view this object, but obviously this feature does not work at all. What a bummer!!

Widget design is good, could be better. I was seeking a new app to replace my old star app to present clean planet information in the widget and this is probably the best option for that need. Major complaints: we all know that Mars is red, Jupiter orange, etc, but make them represented by different and clear contrasting colors on the line graph… yes, Venus isn’t green, but if it were, I could actually see which line it is vs. orange and slightly brighter orange… Also should have the option include Saturn or anything else in the lines (ISS or other planets). The time x-axis displays every 3 vertical lines but also showed 11PM on one line. Should be fixed at the obvious 12AM and then show +/- 3 hours. It sometimes says 12AM but I’ve seen it show other hours too. It seems like it shifts the time axis to be in the middle based on the current hour. It should bias the current time to the left somewhat because there is no immediate gain in knowing what planets were visible hours ago at this point. If I wanted a deeper dive, I’d tap and begin to search. I want a future forecast at a glance. As for the rest of the app, it’s alright, but have seen better elsewhere.

Hooked on this!. I have had this app for a couple of years now and I still haven’t enjoyed everything it has to offer. Fantastic for beginners, easy to use. If you know what it’s called, it will point your phone to it! I would experts would like the “ease” of this app for stargazing. One my favorite features is the night mode, very easy on the eyes and doesn’t temporarily “blind” you. The app sends me notifications of special events (not what to buy,)there’s a great “what to view tonight” tab, enormous amounts of information with 3D views you can move! I can not recommend this enough. If you enjoys stars, you already want this app.

Good overall but one minor issue that causes major frustration. This is a great app that has helped greatly for finding celestial objects, especially when using a telescope, but one problem makes this extremely difficult when planning in advanced. When you are in the compass/AR mode, if you try to change the time to see WHERE a celestial object will be at a given time, the compass/AR mode cancels/ disengages, causing a lot of difficulty in finding where (for example) Venus will be (in comparison to you and your surroundings) at any given time. Thanks if you could please fix this, it would surely earn the fifth star to this review.

The Best Star App. I have never in my life seen so many stars. I’m from the city and a friend recommended that I down load this app, and take a trip in to the country away from the bright Kansas lights. So I went out about 35 miles to a spot that was entirely dark. It was so dark I couldn’t see in front of me. Grabbed my flashlight and found a clearing on a small hill. Spread out my blanket and turned on the app. Put in my beats and laid back. I was so amazed at what I seen. I stayed till the sun cam up. And the only reason I left was cause it was hot and waffles where calling my name. I Thank the makers of Star Walk 2, it was a blessing to see the lords handy work. Get this app you will not be disappointed. Blessed in Kansas

Now it’s perfect. Inloved the first Star Walk, it was beautiful. However, all the visual interest made it very difficult to identify the stars and constellations that are physically visible overhead — and that is the great joy of astronomy. When I walk my child in the stroller at night to sleep I have been learning the stars and watching the changes as the earth moves through its orbit night after night. Its a perspective that has changed my life. Anyway Star Walk 2 lets you dind the visible stars where Star Walk 1 was great for perusing the invisibe heavens.

I love this app so much!. This app is honestly so impressive. I replaced my mindless scrolling through Instagram with this app and it was an excellent decision. I love seeing the widget on my phone change when there is a new event coming up. Big props to the developers because this app is a beauty and I’m glad it exists. I love the augmented reality and the endless information it provides. A must have for anyone who loves space.

Can’t even test it with the excessive ads. I want to try this app before I buy the full version, but seemingly every few seconds an add takes up the screen. I can’t even view the stars due to this. Please change this - update: The only apparent fix by the developer is “if you don’t like the ads pay for no ads”. Well, I actually want to see if it’s worth my money before I purchase an app, which is not possible with the excessive ads. The developer knows this problem, however they only care about your money, and not satisfaction. Please download other versions that are not money pits. I will change my review if I see this problem fixed.

Not nearly as easy to use as Starwalk 1. Not nearly as intuitive as Starwalk 1 (which thankfully I did not delete!). Have had it for a couple of months and still have not been able to view the night sky live. I end up frustrated after five minutes of trying and just go back to Starwalk 1. Update: Final figured it out. Next I need to figure out how to remove the constellation graphics which make it very difficult to see the rest of the sky behind them.

It’s good encyclopedia not so good for new events. I really like the great encyclopedia this app is. But that is all it is. It is doing a really poor job at identifying current events. And let’s face it. Those happen regularly in this day and age. Take for example spaceX satellite launches or current comets. It is virtually impossible to find them and when you do the information is weeks old and you have no idea when or where you can see it. This app could really benefit from real-time awareness. That would transport the experience into a great one. Until then I will withhold some stars. Much love.

Adds are out of this world. I love the app and it’s really solid in my opinion but the adds are so relentless. I had 8 add pop-ups in less than a minute. Its so frustrating, but worst is they trigger adds, meaning if you make an action, add pop-up, I was even stuck in a loop where I would close out the add and try to get out of the menu I was on and it kept popping up! Please reduce the adds. Okay, thanks for the response but, why can you not control the adds? It seems to me your just lying at this point. I read a review claiming the exact same thing over a year ago. 14aggie or something like that. Saying the exact same thing! Really I don’t mind the ads it’s just the amount, 8 adds in less than a minute. I know it’s the free version, but really? Memberships other ads etc. I can’t even leave a section of the app without ads popping up . C’mon. Okay looked through more reviews... yeah please stop lying... review from TWO YEARS AGO by PISTA HOUSTON explaining the same issues with distractions and add pop ups..

One of the best stargazing apps. So i bought this app 3 years ago when i was with my grandparents and it was fun seeing Jupiter and Saturn with the help of this app. But (since i do some traveling) when i was in Las Vegas for fun the stars moon pretty much the whole thing was opossit and a little off i don’t know if this was because my phone wasn’t connect to internet or what. But anyway 5 out 5 stars would recommend.

and again for e. Sad I can’t use with my family because it’s set up as an IN APP PURCHASE. Would rather pay to buy the whole app than each family member. I kind of see this as a low blow. I now understand that in app purchases are not allowed. Forever more, I need to review the fine print and detail before I can know and accept the terms. ENTERTAINMENT! This is the essence of the interest in this app. I am no longer entertained! So sad that the limitation to share with family is couched in an in-app purchase. Cheap blow to all of your saddened customers.

Exactly what I wanted plus some. I think the free version of this app is great, so awesome that even though the free version has all that I needed to know (we had mars hanging in the eastern sky and Jupiter in the West every night for the last month), I’m considering just upgrading because the information about the stars and planets is so much fun for all of us. Even driving down the highway, without internet service, the calibration to my phones compass kept everything where it was suppose to be. I was concerned after I read the first review that I wouldn’t be able to find the information we were asking ourselves all month due to adds, but up until I used a notification about the international space station rising to open the app I hadn’t seen an add at all, except for when I would click on some planets and stars for more information when I would get a suggestion to upgrade for the extra planet information. Very cool app.

Review:. I find that this app is excellent, rarely goes down and always performs perfectly for me here in Virginia. I guess the only thing I’d like to see is when there’s a abnormal situation like the aurora borealis appearing here in Virginia skies maybe they know where in win to look posted we help a lot, besides that, maybe a comet Renee come down you know the beep my notification. Tell us where to put our Starwalk camera. Well you’re doing a great job anyways thank you.

This is awesome. I really liked it because I often stargaze when I have nothing to do at night with my telescope. Alongside my telescope, I also use this app to coordinate where I’m aiming my telescope and it’s cool to know what star I’m looking at as well as how far from earth it is in light years, also considering at how old the light from that star is projecting (i.e a star 157 light years away tells me I’m looking at a star that has current light 157 years ago. It can be kind of complicated for people who don’t know what I’m talking about.) but the only annoying thing is that every time I close a star to look at a new, it gives an ad. This is okay with me, so long it isn’t excessive. But I do tend to mute the ad so it doesn’t ruin my peaceful experience with the already beautiful soundtrack. But I’d totally recommend this app to anyone who is a stargazer like me.

Commercial issues. From a tech standpoint this App is very good. Works as described and is very accurate and easy to use. My issue is simple: STOP WITH THE POLITICAL ADS. Yes you may be giving equal time to both sides but by definition, that also means that you are giving equal time to at least 1 racist, no matter which side of the spectrum you are looking from. Much safer as a company, to stick with what you know...please give us science and tech ads. Sell me a tool, don’t become one.

A great app in concept, but frustrating!. For the most part, this app seems great! Interface is relatively easy to use, with easy menus and lots of information included. However, the ads are incredibly distracting. I understand you need apps in order to make revenue, but having a 5-10second ad pop up every single time you click a celestial object seems a bit overkill. I’d almost suggest playing longer ads less frequently as a better alternative. Also, if you’re downloading this to see the comet Neowise, don’t bother. Location tracking for the comet is advertised in the App Store as a feature, but it seems to only work if you purchase the upgrade. ($5.99) Great features and really interesting ways to see the sky, but not super helpful for a casual observer who doesn’t find it worth it to invest in the upgraded version.

App notifications. I really like this app a lot. I’ve had it several years and I was getting notifications, but last few months no notifications are it tells me in app settings to go into iPhone settings under notifications and turn it on but Sky walk 2 isn’t even listed. It’s in settings but not in notifications

WOW!!!. I’ve had this app on my iPhone for several years but haven’t visited in a while. During my absence, this app has obviously gone through many upgrades that I have been missing out on. Star Walk 2 is Bar none in comparison to any other galactic astronomers educational tool on a phone. Tha graphics and All the options available are unreal. I have introduced this app to my oldest granddaughter and she has taken quite a fascination with our universe. It really allows us to discuss humanity and the different theories of creation. Not only the creation of the universe, but also the creation of,.. All of humanity. We can track the space station but I think that one of my favorite features has to be the “What’s Visible Tonight “ . Takes out all the guess work. Love it & thank you so much to the creators.

OULD BE a Great app, but in-app purchases don’t go to a new phone 😡. I loved using the app, but I got tired of the ads. I purchased the whole she-bang in app bundle and was very happy. I would think that since I’m signed in to the same iTunes account I was on my last phone, it would carry my in-app purchase. I was angry when I found it didn’t. Now I’m stuck with ads again. Even when I hit the “restore” button, nothing happens. I mean nothing. I could push it a hundred times and nothing. Would be 5 stars without this issue. UPDATE: After contacting the company as they requested, several emails back and forth later, they asked me to send proof that I made an in app purchase. I had to dig but found n email from Christmas time 2 years go. I sent them the screenshot in an email, offered to FW the actual email, and that’s when I stopped hearing back from them. This is unbelievable. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very disappointed.

Amazing Eclipse. Here in Encinitas California we had a slight overcast so we had great difficulty locating the darkened moon during the total eclipse. Using this app helped us maintain an observation of the moon’s location with an occasional moment of seeing the moon peek out through the clouds. This app gave us a way of determining where to look real time. We could not have done it any other way because the moments of observatIon were very brief, but amazingly wonderful.

Star Walk 2. I started using the Star Walk app back when it was called just that “ Star Walk” now we have progressed up to what we are listed as of now. Simply put it’s one of , if not the best app for those of us who really enjoy the heavens ! I have used others but most get started and stop about the time you get interested and the app supports stop or there’s no updates or increased input of informational data. Not here they are always updating or creating “ add-ons”. I sincerely enjoy the app and the wealth of knowledge it pertains and constantly being add to. I have learned so much, because it’s so Intuitive. Thanks to all of the gals & guys that play a really le in keeping us informed & enthralled !

Buyer beware, ads after purchasing. Star walk 2 is my go to app to find what I am seeing in the sky. It’s not great, most everything is behind a paywall, but it does the trick. That has now changed with my first purchase of the “satellite” pack purchase. Since I purchased it, every swipe/gesture/press or anything at all triggers an ad where there was not one before. It completely ruins the app. I did not spend my money on your product to suddenly be inundated every 3-5 seconds with a full page trump/pence ad. I would be upset with any extra ads after spending hard earned money...but it is a slap in the face to have my phone display the name of a criminal egomaniac every few seconds. I have requested a refund and will be deleting your app after my refund is processed. I’ll make sure to avoid all apps from this publisher for life. Good day, you’ve lost a customer. Response to publisher : I did see ads the entire time I’ve used your app, so your bug guess is not accurate. what I did NOT experience before paying you for an upgrade was trump slogans splashed across my screen multiple times between every touch of the screen. I don’t use your app any more, I’ve got no interest in ads to the point of making the app unusable. I also have no desire when I’m stargazing to have politics shoved in my face repeatedly, there’s enough of that these days.

All the Glitters. Star Walk 2 is amazing!!! I love how it offers a way to try out before purchasing! I truly recommend the “no ads version” as when you are stargazing and everything is shifting so quickly when viewing in your telescope, you don’t want to waste time waiting through an ad. It’s also a very good price to upgrade and I really appreciate the experience they have put together! I love all of the little tidbits of information and the AR mode. You can also set the constellations to different views. I like when they connect but are just stars while my friend likes the images on top of them. There are so many little tweaks to customize the experience! A month or so ago we spotted Jupiter and Saturn with our telescope. Just an amazing complementary app!

Great app to learn about the night sky. I recently moved out of the city to a rural area with less light pollution that offers up a better view of our cosmos. This app is great! It offers a point and shoot guide to the constellations. Click on a star or planet you find interesting and it offers up a close up picture and a very detailed description of what your looking at. This app has me hooked to spending an hour or two every night learning about what humanity has been fascinated with since our beginning. I highly recommend!

LOVE it!. Got the full version to learn more about space, and, well it has surpassed my expectations! I love that it has short articles about space things happening; I have leaned about some rare events I didn’t know about. Please keep articles up for longer if possible—it’s nice to go back and reference them. Another great feature is you can see the sky change by minute/hour/day/month to see how the constellations look at any given time, from any direction. The only thing I would fix is allowing for an easier transition between moving the sky view with your fingers to moving the phone direction with your hands to orient yourself with where things are. Maybe I am just doing it wrong. But great great app. I also purchased the kid app and satellite app.

Stars and more. Star walk is just about the best site that I have ever seen, if you are into the stars or you just like looking up at night and wondering what that point of light you have been looking at actually is this app will tell you everything you want to know. If you like looking at the stars and planets this app is a must and I can also guarantee you will not be sorry…

Ads ruin app- do NOT get. I’ve read the reviews but thought I’d check it out to see what’s what- and no, this app unusable and worthless for its intended purpose. All it is is a “sucker” app, hoping people that wanna use it right and get something from it get so mad by the adds they pay the money just to not deal with it- made more obvious by the robotic response from the app developers when anyone mentions this in the reviews. Ya, we get that we are getting the free version so have to deal with adds, but the frequency of the adds makes the app a waste of space on your phone and they lose a significant amount of people from irritation that aren’t gonna buy the add free version out of spite. The developers need to have a FUNCTIONING free version that shows people they could get MORE from a paid version NOT just a lack of irritants.

Love this app, but,. I really love this app. I love the features it has for night time sky viewing and where everything is in the night sky. Very helpful for someone who uses planets in their readings. The only thing, and only reason it did not get 5 stars, is because for some reason I get notifications 5 or 6 days after their release dates, which is frustrating to see. I keep looking to see if my notifications are up and running, and it looks good in my end, but still love the app. 🙏🏻

Love This App! It brings my dad back for me.. I have moved to a less urban area but, sadly, have forgotten most of my childhood’s rural skies. My dad died when I was four, but I have bright memories of him waking me up after he came home from a house call in the deep of the dark and carrying me down to our front fields. The Milky Way was very visible and I learned many of the constellations and planet locations that make up wonderful memories of my short time with him. Star Walk 2 is bringing those constellations and planet locations back to me to those vivid night skies of my early years. I saw a shooting star for the first time, tonight. I have no doubt it was Daddy welcoming me back to the night sky and more adventures with sky gazing with my son. Thank you for this easy-to-use, accurate, and beautifully designed map to the stars of my youth.♥️

Please read this. Thank you so much for making this app. Sadly, I have not seen the things I have hoped to see but this isn’t your guys fault. Yes I live somewhat in the country but the city is a few miles away so k yeah, I can see many stars but not the amount that takes your breath away. Sometimes on clear nights when the light pollution is low I can see a lot of stars but this app has made me plan to travel to places far north (Alaska, Canada) to see the northern lights and to find the darkest skies possible. If anyone is reading this, please get this app. I bought the full version and it is totally worth it. I’ve seen many people post reviews saying they didn’t see what they wanted. You will never ever be able to see what you want if you don’t look hard enough and if you don’t practice. Practicing meaning reading books (I prefer National Geographic) memorize the shapes and work hard and chances are, you’ll be an amazing stargazer, and who knows? You could probably be an amazing astronomer! I’m a mere amateur stargazer but I’m working and taking advantage of any clear night I get! If you’d like to be a future astronomer or just stargaze for you own pleasure, this is the app for you! (it’s totally worth buying the entire version!) So download the app and get out there and stargaze 💙💙🌙⭐️✨✨🌕🌓💫🤩🤩🤩

WHY THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!!😆😁😃😝. Ever since I got this game I have been able to discover new constellations that I haven’t even learned in school and I’m in 5th grade!!!!!!! I hope u have amazing reviews like mine keep making more games like this plz!. Oh and if u could could u try to find out what the Scorpio constellation look like, I’m also asking for this bc I’m a Scorpio ♏️!!! Other than that keep doing what ur doing!!! From: Charlien Thomas. U may pronounce my name as Charlene but either way is ok!

My Favorite App. I VERY rarely leave reviews for apps, but I feel like I should here. This app is so much fun to play around with for an amateur astronomer. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been outside at night and friends will ask me to open it to tell them what something is. The AR works really well and helps identify things I wouldn’t have been able to place. It also helped immensely when I went with my girlfriend weeks ago to try and see comet NEOWISE. I also would recommend leaving the notifications on for the app (which I usually always turn off) because the alerts that tell you what to look for are always interesting and concise. Thank you for this delightful addition to my backyard stargazing.

Amazing!!!. I’ve always been into star/planet gazing. After searching for a good app on my phone to learn more about space, I cam across this app. A-MAZING!! I started out with the free app, but quickly purchased the app to get the full scope. Oh goodness, we’ve enjoyed Mars, Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter for the past month right in our backyard! The information this app provides is so helpful to us novice stargazers. I even look forward to the notifications to learn even more. This app has been so helpful to my 5yr old to learn about planets and stars- she’s always ready to go outside and discover more. Thank you for such an amazing app!!

Awesome astronomy stargazing app. Great app for young astronomers, and great for observing the night sky and daytime too! I would recommend this app to everyone. Awesome app and I am very pleased to use this fantastic astronomy application. Thank you for making such a splendid app! It shows me all the celestial bodies of the solar system, and it gives be a lot of information too about each object. I also like it’s music each time I open the app! Thank you very much! Go Astronomy!

“Music to my ears”. I am well pleased with Star Walk 2 and Solar Walk 2. Exactly what I would expect for a stargazing app. Although I don’t believe you should spare the details, more information about the stars and their names, history, and awe-inspiring facts would be nice, because it is a pleasure to learn about stars through this app. To the main point I wanted to address- the music is perfect. I have always loved the celestial sound that this app provides,(it is good for my spirit) and more of the same would be perfect, because I listen to the music even aside from the app.

And last, really, really thank you from my heart

Helpful night viewing. We were in Hawaii and the sky was amazing! I opened my app and held it up to identify what all we were looking at and other people started listening. I’m sure they got the app later to enjoy. The only thing is you have to wait a couple minutes for it to fully load so you can point your phone at the sky and identify celestial bodies. I love to open it in the classroom during daylight so students get the concept that the universe is always there not just at night. Fun!

love this app. I just found out about it and I absolutely love stars and constellations my favorite christmas movie is serendipity because I love stars and constellations and it’s just romantic. I have always thought of stars to be romantic and I love learning about the constellations and what each one is. To be able to have an app to see the stars and constellations virtually is really cool. I absolutely love the fact that it’s live always and shows you a real depiction of where they are in the sky at any given time. This is the best app.

Love it worth it. I love this app so much! It’s helped me to find stars in the night sky. I love the camera reality, it’s so helpful to see exactly where something is in my very own backyard! The only thing I wish was that all of it was free and I didn’t have to pay to see certain things. Putting that aside, best stargazing app I’ve had yet! Thank you developers and I would highly recommend this app! 🪐🌎 ✨✨⭐️⭐️

Constructive criticism. Hello friends. There’s a very important feature that needs to be improved. There needs to be a way for people with bad eyes to see the words on the objects. Although you can turn the wording on and off you cannot change the size of it. Nor can you zoom in without the words staying the same size and at times and even seems like they get smaller. Also for some reason on my phone the automatic movement of following the sky based on where I point my phone doesn’t seem to ever set. I have to do it all manually. It’ll be wonderful if these changes could be addressed :-)

Enjoyed the widgets, but…. I enjoyed using specifically the widgets of this app. Especially the elevation of some of the planets and the moon at certain hours. Though just today it quick working for no apparent reason and even reinstalling it didn’t fix it. I’m not sure why it did this but that was the main use of this app that I add. All the data seemed like it failed to get out to the widgets and kept it from displaying any information it was supposed to. Overall, I enjoyed them. But this issue did take the use I had from it away

It could be a great app, I think. ... but some features don’t work so well, or I haven’t figured out how to use them. For example, when moving my iPad pointing at the sky, it’s not displaying the right direction. I may be looking north but it is showing west, even after calibrating it. If I can get some of these important features to work I’ll buy it but without them it’s worthless, even as a free app. A HUGE issue is that I am trying the free version to see how I like it but the ads make it virtually impossible. You can’t exit some of the ads, sometimes you get 4 or 5 ads in a row, you get a new ad(s) when you touch the screen and you have to calibrate it every minute or so. I also read a review by “angleyes715” who bought it but can’t restore her purchase after changing phones - and customer support won’t help with it. That’s a deal breaker, time to delete the app. Too bad, it had such great potential but there are too many similar apps to waste time on one without customer support.

“Ad-free” still send ads. Don’t buy!. I purchased the full “ad-free+” bundle and most of the ads disappeared, but they still send advertisements through the notification system. The last one said “Grab all-in-one Bundle with a huge discount” which is clearly trying to sell me something and thus an ad. When I complained, they said it was not an ad but a notification and I could turn it off. But notifications are an otherwise good feature of the app which tells you of astronomical events, so no, I want to keep them on, but without the ads that I payed extra not to see. They finally “thanked me for my opinion”. Nothing was done about this. Don’t pay extra for ad-free as they will not honor it. There are other astronomical apps out there, hopefully more honest. ......Thank you to the developer for replying. To the developer my answer is: a message about “sales and special offers” is a message selling something, which is an advertisement. It’s an ad. To think that it isn’t an ad because you sent it through the notification system is wrong. It’s not just that they “bother” me. I paid your fee for no ads. So don’t send ads. Give me what I paid for. It’s that simple.

Great app to find constellations. I love ❤️ this app I’m able from my kitchen window in NYC which is a bad place because of all the light pollution at night but with this app and a very dark kitchen I could see some great constellation like Draco,Hercules, etc.. to name a few even some planets like Uranus, Mars, you get the point and the app is so accurate I was able to see satellite 📡 ad well. So if you’re looking for the best app to find that meteor shower looks no further with this app you can find it and is not that pricey for the memory you created.

Adds and feedback. Thanks for making this app it is fantastic but it has a lot of adds so can you please make it have less ads anyway this app is the best! It is amazing I feel like this is the best space app ever!👏

I love star walk 2 But.... I don’t like that you have to pay for most of the stuff I wish you could just get the rest of the stuff. But I still love love 💕 this game 🤗🤗😍😍

Worth a look. Engaging for kids. Doesn’t automatically orientate to show what I am actually looking at. Good layering options to show variety of features. Enjoy the notifications for tonight’s events.

It's okay but.... I'm getting annoyed because of the ad's every time I want to travel from place to place an ad ALWAY'S comes up, This could be the game I deleted because I had not space, YOU guy’s could of upgraded it, but I am being serious.

So disappointed. I loved Skywalk. It showed me where I was in the universe & where everything else was. Now I feel like I’m in another dimension & I don’t like it. 😩

An amazing experience. Hi all I’m a witch and star walk as helped me to align my spells with the stars, it helps tell me what moon phase it is which helps a lot as sometimes I don’t get the time to look it up or refer to any lunar calendars it’s also an amazing experience if you are interested in the stars and constellations, It even is something that you can do if you’re bored!

Kathleen King. Sky wards l love this app it’s one of the best and my favourite app will keep subscribing to you it’s so good you can’t miss anything happening in the heavens good on you for this great app Kathleen Kings

Star walk 2. Downloaded full bundle,$9.99, been looking for 1 hour , got my money's worth already,! Speechless! 👏👏👏

Poor user experience and design. I’ve purchased StarWalk a few years ago and have found it better than other apps. I was disappointed that I now had to buy StarWalk2 in order to see features such as SpaceX Starlink but figured I’d buy that satellite pack. It was a spectacular disappointment because it didn’t provide me the ability to find or track Starlink when I know from other websites that it should be passing overhead. The constellation animations are so bright that I lose my night vision if I glance at the app for a location check. Dancing and glimmering bright animations is the opposite of what I’d expected in an app which would be mostly used in dark conditions outside. This is coupled with the ads which are so frequent that I’d consider them to be a non-negotiable purchase. As others have also mentioned, there’s an ad every few seconds. I understand the in-app purchase model but StarWalk2 is at ridiculous levels. I rate this one star for StarWalk2 design and usability, and one star extra because of good memories of the original StarWalk experience. Sorry to the devs, I know you’ve probably slaved away to make this but it feels like one of the many apps I tossed aside when purchasing StarWalk.

Straight up wonderful. I love this app. It’s like magic. Not just constellations and stars but also lovely evocative music and beautiful graphics. I love being able to go outside and point my phone at the sky and discover what I’m looking at. As if that wasn’t enough, I can also locate planets. Super useful app and beautiful too.

Ads. I don't mind the ads they have to make money and they need an incentive to push the customers to the full version that being said, the ads are too frequently bugged in full screen without any way to be dismissed without shutting down the app completely and reopening making the app frustrating and nearly unusable at times

Love this app. Great app to have for when your looking at the starts. Love how you can just point it at your subject and it will tell you what you are looking at.

Ads destroy this. So, I paid full price for the premium version of this a few years ago and loved it. Now it has been “updated” with so many ads that the App is unusable. To use this now you want me to pay for the App a second time? I think I’ll pass.

Easy. Very easy to use and gives logical answers to requests put to the program. Has to be useable when at the telescope as you want results quickly for examination.

Ridiculous amount of ads uninstalled after 5 minutes. Reduce the amount of ads. I have no problem with ads popping up but the amount that popped up in such a small time frame it was more of watching ads with a small amount of the actual ap. Uninstalled pretty much straight away

Blown away. Absolutely amazing app!! Perfect for helping me figure out what Star is what. Please keep this app available forever!!!

99% there.. This is an amazing app! It’s brilliant and that’s that. But please fix the bug where it tells me that the ISS is flying over/visible when in fact it’s on the underside of the earth and completely not visible from my location despite getting multiple updates from the app saying that it is!

Good but could be better. Good app, my 6yo loves it. But what it needs is a way to isolate interest areas on the screen: if i hit satellites, i should just them with everything else faded for example. Also we should be able to favourite certain items in the sky so we can find them again easily.

Cool, but the ads!. Only just d/l this app. Looks great and like the voice search. But after maybe 3 mins of using it with a trillion ads(well almost, lol), enough is enough. I can understand having annoying ads for a free app, but this app takes it to the extreme. Unless you have loads of patience, forget it unless you pay for the full version (which I may or may not do). So only 3 stars, less ads or perhaps the full version, possibly give it 5 stars. Meh, I’ll just stick to my totally free PC Star program.

Best feature now unavailable. I was really happy with the app and bought the subscription to have full access and support. Few days later the “in space” feature is gone and now I have to pay to get it again. Really disappointed

Awesome app, but where did the roadster go?. Love the app, but the roadster no longer comes up in the search bar.

Simply amazing. Whilst I’m really glad I have found this incredibly helpful and useful resource not to mention,so easy to navigate ; I can’t help but feel that the children of today will perhaps never realise how lucky they actually are. Just Awesome !!!

Wicked. Everything you want and more!!

AMAZING. About every second to third day I go out my backyard and stargaze. I use this app every time as well and it helps me figure out what stars or planets I’m looking at. Love it

Paid for nothing. I paid for this app and accepted a software upgrade only to have ads reinstated every single time I touch the screen. Now I’m being asked to pay another $6 to remove ads. Already paid for this to have the ads removed and shouldn’t have to do this again.

Fantastic. Star Walk is compatible with so many fantastic products that makes everything come together

Our place in the Universe. This information document is absolutely stunning, both in a visual sense and also in the quality of the information that it provides to the reader. I am a novice to astronomy, nevertheless, I find that my desire to learn more is invariably stimulated by the detailed and exciting presentations of the information a bout the Universe. From now on , just to be quirky, when I send letters etc. by snail mail I will include the full address all the way through bit the Universe , Just for the joy of it! Thank you for the delightful experiences that you provide to all at Vito.

I love it. This app is awesome because I can find info about anything that I click on and I have found stars that look great through my telescope only complaint is that there are too many adds other than that I love it.

App is great except. I get an occasional add pop up even though I have the full version. Second thing is I wished the notifications would let me know other objects such as Hubble and bright satellites and not just ISS and Iridum flares. Otherwise it is a beautiful app to have and gaze the stars with.

Light pollution option. This is a great app and all, but I have a simple yet complex idea that you may consider adding to it. I’m sure you know what light pollution is, and so I was thinking about a option, maybe a button or something located on the top right of the screen, that allows you to change how the night sky would look like with different levels of light pollution. 1 being the best and 5 the worst. This would be useful to amateur astronomers that are curious about wherever or whenever it is best to view the night sky with less pollution. Like me, some of us would like to move somewhere to view the celestial bodies and deep sky objects, but aren’t sure if it’s what we’re looking for. This can be a unique feature only your app (from my knowledge) has. I hope this gives you an idea to put in more feature(s) to the software. Sincerely, someone.

I like the app. I like the app because you can find outlet something you need to know

Star walk 2. I bought this full version yesterday it’s a complete let down the map has nothing exciting on it , please UPDATE this !!!go and have a look at “night sky” the free version app before updating dev’s, on that the planets are large so you can see them everything is clear and not overloaded I’m pretty unimpresssed for the $9.99, if you can make yours more visible and clear e.g. the planets and satellites and paths they are taking and show all the satellites that would be great, please do something about this because at this point in time I want my $9.99 back, but in hope for some quality non subscription base app I will give you the benefit of the doubt so please follow through, if you need any more info please contact me guys ❤️

Wow, just, WOW. I didn’t know an app could ever be this good! But you have too pay 💰 a lot for simple things like seeing satellites 🛰 and it’s not that fair.

Great app! Widget not working. Awesome app! Very informative :) widgets not loading apart from one. Especially the largest widget is the one I want to use. Tried all troubleshooting possible but is still not working. Rest of the app works perfectly and is my preferred app when looking up. I have learned a lot through starwalk. Great stuff :D

Incredible. This app is incredible. It shows you where all the constellations and planets are, and what they are. Love it 😍

Great app. I have been teaching my son about the night sky. Going outside and using the app to view meteor showers and so much more. Fantastic application

Could be better. I just brought a new telescope it is so cool!one thing is it is strange when you zoom into the water you can see more stars and stuff. And I can’t see the ocean from my window 😳

More quizzes. This is a really good app and fun to use. I wish we had more quizzes about planets other than Venus

??. Just got the app and it does not even open and I’m very disappointed

Amazing. I’ve only had it for a little while but it’s fantastic especially since I want to be an astrologist this really helps me with perusing my dreams

Hi. Hi I’m Chels that’s not important, I LOVE this game and the amount of detail this game has is mind blowing how you can tilt the phone and see all the stars and moons etc I love space and this helps me a lot tysm ❤️❤️❤️

Previous purchase not recognised. I’ve bought the bundle app more than 2 years ago but my purchase is not remembered. Restore purchase doesn’t work. Keeps pushing me to buy a new bundle. Different iPhone but same Apple Store account. Frustrating.

TO MANY ADS. Personally I think this app would be better if every time you taped on an object there was an ad also if your gonna show all the cool stuff on the AppStore but you don’t get it unless you pay extra then don’t show it the only reason I got this was so I could enjoy a free quality app but still it is quite cheep otherwise its pretty good just maybe have like AR planets AR Solar system AR galaxy even like there are some apps that do this for free and I saw with the first one the different spectra I can’t seem to find it just more augmented reality would be cool if you could

Previous versions much better. I originally got the previous free version. My son and I used it a lot! Not having been able to stargaze for some time, I was disappoint with the update. The ads for one - and yes, I know you can remove them, but who wants to sort that out when they open the app out in the night air ready to star gaze? The constellation graphics are overpowering. I know you can turn them off, but many events are described in relation to the nearby constellations, so they are helpful when searching. These versions are just too distracting! I find it doesn’t move around the sky with me as well as the other and freezes when I zoom in. All in all, not nearly as satisfying nor user free friendly experience as previously.

yeet. Star walk 2 is amazing and i love the music and how you can like go into this mode and see the stars even in the day. it’s amazing!!

Paul. StarWalk2 is so good and even if you play it in the morning you can actually see the stars

Amazinf for space lovers. I use this app whenever im out and can see the stars. Super useful for identifying planets and stars in the sky and impressing friends!! I memorise the positions of certain stars and planets so i can find them by memory based off this app!

Brilliant. I love how easy this app is to navigate. Extensive information and notifications on what is happening in sky .

Great fun. Quick responsive , easy to view . Great app . I don’t know anything about astronomy so I can’t tell you if it’s accrate . Except the moon and Saturn . Def got those !

Fantastic. This app is superbly crafted and has an outstanding amount of detail. The high level of user friendliness makes it easy for all ages to use.

Star walk 2. Really good 😺! Locates galaxy’s stars and even more!

Star walk. My most favourite app so far

Pop ups, commercial ads. Commercial adverts still popping up, despite the fully payed version promised to have them off.

Rad app. This app is radical! 🌞

Magnifique. Un travail fort apprécié pour mes yeux et mes neurones Merci une joie d en découvrir sur notre environnement astral....

Star walk. I love star walk but I find that there is not enough details

A great app. This app is very good it shows the stars very accurate it runs so smooth and I didn’t even get the paid version YET. They keep the adds to a minimum as well it’s a great walk

Was great until now.. I actually enjoyed this app in the beginning even with the ads. You could work around them. Now it is impossible to do anything with it. As soon as the app demanded I install candy crush or some other time waster it was time to delete. Sorry! And the worst part about it was, I was actually going to pay for the full app. Not anymore

Pretty cool! But it didnt work for me. It seems like a pretty legit and cool app but it just kept crashing and it wasn’t letting me set my location to Ontario Canada. Im not too sure if that might be a problem on my end but otherwise i really like the idea of the app

RezStreets17. I like this app. you can learn plants nebulas and star

Middle ground with ads. I have nothing against ads per se but the developers made sure they were the most obnoxious and intrusive as possible. There are better alternatives to ads management than this. They tried too hard to lead me into the add-free upgrade and it turned me off. I usually purchase to support, not because if I don’t it’s a hassle.

Location coordinates. Location coordinates for Edmonton Canada are way off by 10-15 degrees, making the app almost redundant.

Need help so bad..... Well first of all, I love this app. Second, it’s compass is screwed up. My West and East are backwards, so is north and south. I tried to set my coordinates but it won’t allow me too, and also it doesn’t have any place closer to me. I live in a very rural place in the middle of Canada.

Great free app. I see a lot of reviews saying there are too many ads but I really don’t find there are for a free app. I’ve had this app for years and use it all the time and love it. If ads bother you that much you could always pay for the full version but honestly the free version is great especially if you’re just a generally curious person are always looking at the night sky and wondering what stuff is. It’s a super useful and interesting app to have.

Stars. I don’t like that I have to pay just to see some stars like Jupiters moon s

Review. Amazing app! Provides all information you might need when browsing the sky and stargazing! Absolutely recommend it!

Awesome. Good price. Easy to use. Love the sound

Awesome!. It’s such a great app! I recommend it for students still in school!

I don’t care about a title. Awesome app!!!!! Great sound!!!

Myths. I believe in most myths and stories I love to read about the Prophecy or visions

Star walk 2. Loved the Star walk app so decided to try the second version. Was disappointed in the bling associated with the constellations. Makes it difficult to see the actual stars. Also disappointed in the number of upgrades, all coming with an additional price. Will stay with the original app which is easier and clearer to use.

Great. It really good.

Bad info. App gave notifications yesterday to say it was a full moon Problem is full moon is today, Oct 20

Not worth it. Sorry but I hated it cause everytime I clicked on something it gave me a add

Would give 0 stars if I could. Downloaded the app within a few minutes I’d uninstall and cancelled my trial. The ads are ridiculous along with the user ability it’s trash Would not recommend.

Payment. Immediately giving it 5 stars right now for only having the one time payment and not monthly payments. So rare 💯🙌🏽

Best app ever.. It’s a complete description of whatever upside there. I really love this app. Recommand to everyone.

Review. I love this app

good but weird lately. i love this app my only issue is that as of late i cant actually see anything it just spins and spirals around for some reason?

To much commercial. Commercial is a lot

Unusable as is. Already own first Star Walk but it can’t be loaded on iPhone XR somehow. Downloaded this version and paid the C$2 to be able to track Neowise comet on phone. Advertisements pop up after EVERY screen change. Complete madness: unusable as is. No longer trust publisher integrity to dish up the additional C$9 to turn ads off. A real shame TBH.

Awesome. It’s so amazing!! So many cool features! Love it! I got the app when you could buy adds free so I don’t have to worry about adds, it’s great you can view planets, satellites asteroids and more, I just wish there were things like the aurora borealis but this is by far one of my favourite apps ever, if I could give it six star reviews I would.

Backwards/Useless. Tried to update, took way too long to download, got paused, wouldn’t install, deleted. Few days later reinstalled. Pointed directly at the Sun. Says the sun is directly behind me. Hit App ‘support’ to the right of ‘write a review’ takes me to the net and a page that doesn’t offer so much as an email connection. Epic fail. As for requesting I remain calm and connect with your support, I take offence, tried that as stated above, got nowhere as stated above, and didn’t get treated with respect the last time I contacted support. So no thanks.

Completely stopped working. The view of the sky just stays static now when I move the phone around.

Too many ads.. Although the ads are very short, having them pop up on every screen tap it's infuriating, even for a free version. The 1 star is not representative of the app quality, but of my frustration after using it for just 5 minutes

Account details. Where do I find my account details. I have purchased the app for a year but I want to see the details of the purchase (date, fees etc.)? It also does not appear under subscriptions on my phone setting?

Amazing!. I love this app it’s absolutely amazing I love this app❤️

The sound of the stars!by gustavo bongarzone. Bongarzone

Merci de m’avoir répondu... Très apprécié, bravo!

Ad Walk 2. Every time you touch the screen, you get an ad. Even if you pay for a feature.

Love it!. Very interesting and informative.

App not free. 1 week trial after you need to pay

Ads nightmare. There are so many ads that it’s impossible to evaluate. Therefore this trial version deserves a very bad score.

Awesome app. Worked perfect. This app is awesome for learning star consolations. Looking to study the consultations more as there isn’t any info on them there than the awesome graphics and point to sky graphics.

Star Walk 2. J’adore cette application mais quand ont regarde les constellations on voit le nom de étoile et ça me dérange donc peut-être juste zoomer pour voir le nom des étoiles dans les constellations MERCI 🥰🥰🥰

It gives what it’s suppose to gave! You get me?!. Always on time. Never late. I love all the informative updates of planetary, astronomical and seasonal events. Every time I feel my energy being pulled I turn to this app and without fail there’s a cosmic event happening and I’m in the midst of it! Girl, I’m a Pisces. IYKYK The sky mapping is top notch. You all ( the programmers ) should really consider developing a VR/AR game for the Oculus units. Anyways keep up the good work! I’d love to work for your marketing / ux/ui. I’ll be in touch. Tchau!

Waste of money. Paid for app. Don’t waste time get a book and learn the real way. I feel taken advantage of. I feel great sadness for the creators of this app. I would have gave them money if they are poor and need charity. Are they greedy???

Cool. Love this app

Too short notice of upcoming events. Example: it is may 2, 2022 and there will be a lunar eclipse may 11. So far this app has no notification of said event.

Great app. There is just so much to this app. Very Informative

An app for explorers. I often go stargazing the week of the new moon and only bring my phone for this app and the moon app. I couldn’t be more happy. I paid for the full version and it’s great! The only improvement I would make would either be displaying the moons phase or notifying users once a month before the new moon.

fantastic. amazing app love looking at the full set of constellation. it would be cool to see an update where the settings allowed you to change from the standard greek names to label Egyptian constellations or of native tribes from north america, south, africa, etc. highly recommend getting if you don’t already have though!!

Useful app except.... I love the info this app gives and the notification of events. What I wish it did, and maybe it’s user error, was just give me the planet when I hold it up to the sky. I don’t need all the rest of the stuff. While I have learned from the constellations, I would really like a way to identify a planet, just the planet. I had an app that did just that but it too morphed into an app like this that provides so much info except identifying quickly a planet.

Stars are wishes. I love this app. I would like to view things in between gamma and X-ray states. It’s full gamma and full X-ray but I cannot just somewhat be in between these states. That would make this app even better. I also want to free flow in 360 degrees without stopping. Just my opinion. Thanks great app otherwise.

Not a Free app. Must purchase to use. Hardly anything is accessible without having to upgrade. Misleading to make the app “FREE” if it can’t be used unless you pay after you download it. Seems like only the sky map (can’t click on anything) and the phases of the moon are free. Any action takes you to an ad, then asks you to upgrade in order to access. What else did I miss? Otherwise, looks like a very robust app. Just have to pay to unlock each feature.

Favorite constellation app. I love getting all my celestial news through this app. It’s easy to use and really informative for all your astronomical news. I saw shooting stars tonight and all bc of the notifications. I’m so grateful I had the app bc I would have missed the string of shooting stars. I will always use this app, and I constantly tell others about it. I LOVE it so much

Love it!!. I love this app! As a person who is really interested in astrology and is curious, I find this app really cool and helpful if you’re into that stuff. You can see all the constellations up around you. Though it can work on just tiny bit of accuracy, but it’s not that big of a deal since everything is set in place👍🏼

Bought the same app multiple times. Downloaded star walk 2 + ads. Subsequently upgraded to star walk 2. Was alerted that in order to track satellites and celestial objects to upgrade and download star walk 2. Which I thought was done when I paid to upgrade the +ads. I now have 2 icons for the same app and no additional material and charged multiple times. Tried to contact customer support and either they could not understand dilemma or were not concerned. Either way, bummer of an app. Not terribly user friendly either. Will look for better star viewing app. Boo to you star walk!

FEELING HOSED. As a kid, I watched the Marx Brothers. In, “ A Day at The Races”, Groucho wants to place a bet but never seems to have the right information. Chico just happens to have every book Groucho needs and is willing to sell him the information for a nominal price. By the time Chico sells Groucho all the information he needs, he missed the race and was broke anyway. I’ve been a follower of Vito a long time. It seems I always need an add-on. I’m feeling, “Groucho-ed”. It stops now.

G’s review. It’s a very calm app just to use at night, it captures all of the planets in its exact place and its also good to let you know if you find a light in the sky, it will tell you what planet it is or if it’s a star it also says the name of the star or the planet overall very peaceful app to use at night.

Shooting Stars. Add a feature where you can see the constellations back in like 1000 BC and also years from now!!! That would be awesome! I love the app! Just one suggestion... can you add a feature where it shows when shooting stars are visible in the night sky? That would be most fun! And awesome!

Jeff South Carolina. I enjoy this program so much it’s so easy to identify where and which planets are, and the star constellations. Anything I want to identify in the sky this program tells me exactly what it is and where to look. I highly recommend this program to anyone that’s a stargazer.

This is an amazing app!. The app is well designed. I’ve always loved the stars since I was a little kid but now it has come full circle. If you’re looking for some educational fun with your children this is the perfect tool. This has been a wonderful learning experience for them. They have never been so excited to learn a new star, constellation or celestial event. I must say, it has been enlightening for myself as well.

Ads take over the entire App. This App basically can’t be used without buying ALL of the extra features. I understand the need / desire to make revenue through in-App purchases but this is excessive. Instead of purchasing the “bundle” that has all elements plus removal of ads I bought two different $1 packs - planets and constellations - specifically because I could see Venus and wanted to know more. Even after buying the planet bundle when I click on Venus in the App I get ZERO extra information about the planet, but get a full screen ad with the ability to exit either removed (specific time you have to watch the ad) or quite hidden. This is a questionable business practice, and makes using the App (even after buying the planet and constellation packs) nearly impossible. Don’t waste your time unless you want to pay the full amount for all features and ad removal.

Not what I had hoped. I was really disappointed and maybe my expectations were too high. I was looking for an app that would tell me what star or planet I was looking at - or what is in the vicinity of where I’m looking. This only gives me someone’s interpretation of what the constellations look like. I pointed it at the same spot 3 times over the course of 15 minutes and got 3 different constellations. I couldn’t even locate my target star within any of the pictures. I’m deleting and searching for something else.

It really works!. I’m very impressed with this app. It is very accurate and I love how you can tap on the stars and learn about them. I’ve been looking up at this cluster of stars for years wondering what they were and I finally got my answer it is called the pleiades cluster. And I was looking up at what I thought was either a star or a satellite and it turned out to be Uranus! It’s a very fun app!

Phenomenal. This is a most amazing and enjoyable App. Star Walk 2 is a must-have on your phone to enjoy an even greater appreciation of our stars, planets, moon, Solar System, Galaxy and Universe. So much to look forward to each evening. Turn on Sounds and Music for a truly pleasurable extra-terrestrial experience.

Cool!. I love this game! I can learn more about starts and planets but there are some things I don’t like and that is: I know that this isn’t google maps or something but it would be cool to tap on a planet and actually see it and maybe there could be a picture of the scale of the planets like witch one is closest to earth and stuff like that! But I do love how u can even use it during the day! 🪐🌏🌍💫⭐️🌎🌙🌔🌓🌒🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌚🌜🌛🌝🌞🌟✨☄️💥

Why I like it... It has it all .. I’ve always been in love with the universe..it’s something so vast..outter limits stuff..planets at your fingertips..it’s all right there..and for $5.00 bucks..you get all these cool extras..I’ve had this app for a few years now..and it only keeps getting better..and I’m a noob on a computer and it’s been on my iPad forever..

Thanks for being honest. While other Apps try to hide the fact that they have “In app purchases” in the tiniest font possible hoping potential purchasers won’t notice, your notification of inappropriate purchases in nice, large, and even in red. Wish Apple would force everyone to use this format.

Great but annoying. This app works so well it’s super helpful for my astronomy class and it’s super cool. I understand that because this is the free version there are going to be ads but the ads are so annoying. Every single time you look up any constellation or change anything in settings or click on anything in the sky an ad plays and it’s just extremely annoying.

Ayinde said this;. This would be an awesome tool for someone who hates and wants to DESTROY US ALL…. Not me though…… lol plz don’t publicize this as it could be construed as a envocation of some sort; and i honestly dont understant how one would destroy us all by having a consistant, near accurate, constant star map chart at the touch of your finger-tips GOD HELP US ALL!

My 2 year old and I love it!. What a great and informative app. I shelled out the $5 to get all the features, but it was worth it. My 2 year old loves this app and I hope it keeps him interested in Astronomy. It's definitely renewed my interest in the planets. Side Note: He somehow discovered a secret Santa Claus under your "Missions" section. That was clever guys. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼

App Won’t Work. I have an iPhone 7 and the app recently stopped working. It was great when it worked during the first couple weeks I had it, but suddenly it won’t open past the title screen and goes to black. I deleted, reinstalled and then it locked on the location setup screen followed by the same ol’ thing when I restarted (locked on title screen). It’s a real shame because this was quickly becoming a favorite, but I’ll be moving on if a fix doesn’t come about shortly.

Love it! Would recommend!. This app is so nice and very easy to use and understand! It is super easy to find stars and planets and learn about them! I believe that all the stars, planets, and galaxies out there are a beautiful part of God’s creation, and being able to locate and study them is wonderful! I definitely recommend this app!

Review: okay. It’s okay. It’s just the fact that the adds are a little annoying, but all adds are. Also everything they do seems like they’re pushing you into getting upgraded and I find that annoying, because I don’t want to upgrade and I think if you stopped forcing it and left the app as it was it would maybe make people think “ this is cool, I want more so I’ll go to the premium, and I don’t feel pressured or forced.” See. Just a suggestion though.

Love this app. Ever since I was in school I loved to learn about the stars. I love how you can point your phone and it will tell you what is in that part of the sky. I like to keep track of all the planets and learn all I can about. This app is wonderful for people who love astronomy. ✨🪐💫⭐️🌙🌘

I love this app. I love this app. It is incredibly visual, and it thoroughly amazed my kindergarten class when they saw it. Am I mistaken, or did this app use to go back farther than December 31, 1000 BC? Are there plans to allow the app to go back further than the above date? I would like to see the app go back to at least 3000 BC.

Thank you to the developers. This app is amazing and educational! As a kid, I used to own a telescope but it was still hard to tell sometimes what exactly I was looking at. Having no real background in astronomy, this app is a wonderful educational tool that allows me to more accurately identify what I am searching for and learn new constellations. I couldn’t be happier. Keep up the good work~! 😄😁🙌🏾

Amazing. The full version was very worth it, only a few bucks for a vast amount of information to learn about all the individual stars in all the constellations, I use this app more than I ever imagined I would and well worth it very happy with this purchase

Real time location could be better. living in Phoenix I can see most anything in the sky clearly. Got notification of ISS passing over and it was to go directly overhead. HOWEVER, the real time location on this app really needs work. I walked outside and the app shows ISS just rising over the horizon. I close the app and come back 10 seconds later and the ISS has passed over and is setting!! The initial notification and location was off!

Adds. It’s a shame, in order to enjoy your app. We have to buy something. It just isn’t fair!! In these times, trying to survive some of us can’t even a good treat for the children. But yet to enjoy your app with my children, I have to purchase something!! It just isn’t fair!!!

finally a good sky app. This is like the only app ive found that has everything useful, esp combined with satellite tracker. It's the only sky app I've considered paying for because unlike other apps you don't have to pay to use crucial features, just slightly helpful additions

So good but so bad. The ads are fuc$&ng over whelming. I can understand some here and there, that’s no problem, but when you hit me with a add every time I click on a star or planet it’s pretty unnecessary. I NEVER rate ads but I really hope that they fix this on its way to good to be punished and put down so bad because of ads. Besides the Ads this app is amazing. You can video 3D of the night sky and click on each star and get a detailed understanding of what your looking at.

Love. I absolutely love this app! I did pay for the extra features but I never felt like the adds were too bad, I just wanted the extra features. I’ve seen a lot worse. Thank you for all the work you put into making this such a great app, I’ve learned so much from it! It’s the only app worth using in my opinion.

Ads out of control. I love the app. It’s really awesome. I understand the need to have ads on apps. It’s how you make money and I get it. However, I just had four separate ads pop up in the span of 10 seconds. There’s a fine line between having ads and those ads making the app unusable and that line was crossed a long time ago. That kind of business practice doesn’t make me want to trust you enough to buy the paid version. Please get it back under control.

Just what I needed. I’ve taken an interest in constellations 🌌 recently and I’ve been trying to look up the many kinds, but I could never really soak up the information right. But after my brother showed me this, I finally have something that helps me visualize what I’m looking at! And the fact that it gives me information about each constellation is just so helpful.

I LOVE THIS APP. Every time I see a bright light in the sky, I always wonder what it is. After getting this app, all those questions were answered for me. Little did I know that those stars I thought I saw brightly in the night sky were planets, not so far away 🩷🩷

Great App. I love to know what’s going on in the sky & this APP really helps me do just that! If you check it every day, or even once a week you will be able to catch spectacular events in the sky! ♥️♥️ I recommend it to all Stargazers! I opted for the “No Ads” version for $5.99. The Ads were constant!

Great. This is a great app, and perfect for astronomy without the fancy equipment. It does have inapp purchases, but it still works very well without them. It does have quite a bit of adds, but they're not popping up one after another. This is an overall amazing app and you can still use it during the day because obviously the stars are still there during the day.

Skywalk 2 A great way to learn, a great way to teach. The newest version of skywalk does a great job of pulling together the world around us. Yet it’s simple enough to show young children as well to intrigue older adults. Check out all the additional ways of looking at the stars and the planets.

I’m a novice. It’s an outstanding app that shows you everything you need to know and look for each night as a newbie with a telescope like me. It also sends reminders and notices about events upcoming in the night skys. Once it knows your location, it will show you everything you can see in the sky at any time. Well worth the small price for the upgrade version

Needs work. I love the app except for one problem and that problem is you can’t see everything without paying money for VIP. What if you are a child and your parents won’t let you or what if you don’t have enough money. Please fix that or I will have to just write more reviews and I don’t believe they will get any better then this.

Too many ads. When I first download the app was hardly any interruptions. Then weeks after loading this app I was going over my file manager and notice multiple Star Walk 2 material download on my phone that I didn’t do. This was the best, it definitely changed. Too many ads with nothing to do with astrology. Once others hacked and discovered discovered the app I was using to learn the constellations and making amazing discoveries here cake the bull. So be cautious I wouldn’t recommend this app at its current stage. But outside of the consistent ads it the best app I ever downloaded

easy and fun. starWalk2 is the simplest of the night sky apps that I own. Four just checking what’s on the horizon or when the next thing is coming you can’t beat it. It’s accurate and doesn’t require much in the way of in-app skills. for the casual astronomer or just someone wondering what that thing is in the sky this is the best choice

This So Called App. Since you allow your employee to write the following concerning the appearance of the Christmas Star: “ At the end of 2020, around the Catholic Christmas, Jupiter and Saturn will appear the closest since 1623. Here is everything you should know about this once-in-a-lifetime event or so-called "Christmas Star". The phrase “So-Called” is used to show that you do not think that the word or phrase that is being used to describe somebody/something is appropriate. I no longer find your “App” appropriate to use. There are far better astronomy apps I can use. Deleting it now.

Compass problem. I used to be able to use this app’s compass perfectly fine but now after getting a new iPhone 8 from my 6 the compass in the app is wrong. I made sure to give it all the possible permissions, and I checked my compass app and it is reporting the true north. I tried reinstalling the app too and that failed if there was a recalibration feature to k the app that would be great.

Very impressive!!. This app is beautiful for learning about the constellations and stars! There is lots of information given about the planets and very star that is visible. My family and I use this to locate certain constellations and it gives a gorgeous sight when we find it. This can also track moving satellites in our earths atmosphere (and presented as moving on the app too).

Ads Make Free Version Unusable. Constant interruptions with ads taking up more than half the screen and Special Offer badges you can’t dismiss make using free version annoying and amounts to coercion to purchase. How is one to know whether the App is useful and enjoyable or not with the frustration from pitches to buy and large screen disabling ads? I finally closed the App and will probably delete. A better way to win a new user would be to allow full featured use for a limited time, after that time expires, you can buy or use free with ads. Frustration and heavy-handed marketing pitches to upgrade does not a potential happy customer make.

Pretty to look at but lacks basic functions. I have the full paid version with every option. It is a very beautiful interface with many features. BUT...it lacks one feature that is unacceptable for an astronomy app. The settings do not allow for Messier Object Labelling. There is no option to choose what objects you want labelled or not. Sure, you can access the side menu and select a Messier object one at a time...but to use this as a serious star chart for telescope use is futile. I also have a free app of Star Chart which had the good sense to label Messier objects like it does with the stars, and has every feature I wish this app had. Shame I paid for this one. Since developers read reviews here, I am begging you...just add a toggle switch that allows Messier objects to have labels on the map, and this would gladly change my rating to 5 star app!
