DOESNT WORK WITH DISH NETWORK. This is really irritating that it does not allow dish network to be a provider when I can watch this channel on dish I miss a lot of my favorite shows because I’m at work and I would love to be able to watch them at work and get caught up on episodes that I’ve missed without having to record all them on my hopper worst app ever

Lame. I love paranormal lockdown but does this app want to work right? No and to top that off two brand new episodes were on last night but you guys can’t simply update your app so therefore I can’t watch it, no wonder ghost adventures has stuck around with the travel channel it’s because destination America is sooo lame!

Dest. America. I love Destination America it is the best app I love watching Mountain Monsters on it.

No new content. Same episodes have available for long time. How about some new ones.

Get with the now!. They haven’t caught on that they can charge a small fee every month so people can have access to all their programs. CABLE is DEAD.

Trash. I have signed in at least a dozen times and each instance it keeps displaying that I am not signed in. The DiscoveryGO app works fine, I don’t see why it’s so difficult for the sister app to work similarity without all the sign in issues. It’s just as well since there’s only one season of BBQ Pitmasters available, zero episodes of Smoked, and about nine million dumb ghost shows I have absolutely no interest in.

Crap. This app is crap! Every other dY I have to delete it and reload it... Do you think I change providers everyday???? I watch shows one day and then the next I get the stupid red keys and can’t watch anything the next day. Such crap!

Limit the commercials!!. Nice app with many shows not currently on TV. So it’s nice. Only complaint is the high number of commercials. Be nice to limit the commercials to only 0-4 instead of 8 in a row at times. Jeez I put my phone down and walk off. If it wasn’t for the shows I wouldn’t watch it at all.

Refresh??. Does this app refresh its shows? I love this channel and thought there would be more on the app. But it seems that there are no show updates and commercials are long! But I still watch the app...

Destination America. I love destination America, I do wish they would play more of mountain monsters on this channel with Trapper on the show it’s always good. Don’t like the new version it’s about them not monsters...... the best episode is the Grassman’s “Revenge.

Railroad Alaska. Not sure why Railroad Alaska was canceled but I had a group of friends that met each week to watch! We love most shows regarding Alaska but this was our favorite! Why was it canceled? Is there any chance that you’ll reconsider and bring Railroad Alaska back on Destination America or Discovery? PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏

Issues with casting. Having problems with chromecast. If not I give it 5 stars.

Everything I wanted. I only got this app for mountain monsters and I was not disappointed and this is my second review because the first one I said it only needed one more episode and it got that episode so now this app is everything I wanted

Dont bother if you don’t have cable. I got this App expecting to have to pay some kind of subscription fee, since I knew it was too good to be true that a free app would give me unlimited access to some of my favorite shows. But I’m not about to sign up for cable in order to use the app. Talk about a let down. I gave it three stars because the app itself isn’t to bad from what I was able to do on it. No buffering. But the commercials were a bit much, given you HAVE to already be paying for cable to gain full access. Again, even with a subscription fee, I wouldn’t have cared about the commercials.

Disappointed. I love destination America but this app does not work all my other apps and the other tv channel apps like TLC go or Travlechannle go work wonderfully, I have a very reliable new I pad and this App will not load I have to delete it and re download every time I want to watch something and if I click out of it accidentally I’m can’t get back in, I don’t have any clue why this is happening but I wish it was fixed already.

YIKES. This worked ONCE on my iPad while connected to my home network, which gets its IP service from Charter/Spectrum. Next attempt, nothing would play even though logged in, ALL things were showing red which was explained away as not being available on my network. Funny thing that...the show is ON MY TV at the moment, but not on my IPAD and yet as soon as I try on my mobile phone..it works? Inconsistent. I’m not throttled, and there’s plenty of data. Not coming back to this for a while.

App is fine, too many commercials!. Why all the commercials? It isn’t live tv so why do I need to see the same commercials over and over for reruns?

Please add Verizon FiOS. One of the few tv apps that do not support logins from Verizon customers. I’d love to watch these shows if only I could log in!

Can’t get it. I pay sling to watch your channels and yet you don’t give us the ability to watch all the episodes? I love the channel just hate how I can’t get a person to talk to either. You really should appreciate all of your customers and give them the same abilities to enjoy your diverse programming.

Not getting app yet!. I was going to download this app but after reading review I think I’ll wait. I hate long and repeated ads. Even tv ads aren’t as bad as app ads

Streaming/Commercial Time Issues are Driving Me Nuts!. First off a 4 minute commercial time break is not acceptable-I have screen shots of it should proof of be requested after posting this issue on their site and here. I really enjoy Destination America’s programming even though viewing it costs me an additional $50 a month on my cable bill since it’s only available as a premium channel. Since work necessitates my catching up on episodes via the app, 90% of my viewing is done in this fashion. I game and run 15+ channel specific apps, and only have streaming issues when utilizing this app. The problems range from the show freezing every 30 seconds to a show segment of 8-10 minutes repeating several times before the show continues normally. It’s occurred with different series so the glitch isn’t just affecting 1-2 streaming events. On top of that, 2 advertisers have commercials that will repeat up to 8X’s before other advertising takes over. I’m now avoiding those products since I’m sooo sick of their ads. I’ve contacted the developers, removed, reinstalled, and utilized multiple devices trying to correct the issues without any resolution. When I asked friends who have the same app and different cable providers they shared similar problem lists. I hope the app developers can correct the problems but it’s been 6m w/o any discernible improvement so who knows when and if it’ll get better.......

Too Many Darn Commercials. Seriously? It’s very annoying having to watch commercials every 2 to 3 minutes. Commercials have more airtime than the actual show. I mean, come on! We just want to watch without interruption.

Commercials cause freezing up. Love the shows that are on app BUT so many commercials cause the app to freeze or completely to close. So aggravating.

Annoying. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or what, but the need to activate my device(s) 2 to 3 times a day just to watch a show is a bit annoying. This and this alone makes me give 2 stars. Is there a way to keep my device(s) activated?

Ridiculous Commercials. We are trying to watch shows through an app NOT on live television, why the hell do they have to put 2.5-3.5 minute long commercial breaks in their shows? Are you kidding me, this is becoming intolerable and making it difficult to watch any of the shows. I end up falling asleep waiting for the commercials to end. I’m going to stick to Netflix and my other on-the-go apps which don’t have ridiculously long unnecessary and frequent commercial breaks in their shows.

The best. I love history and science so I have been watching Mysteries at the Museum since it started..fascinating things to see and learn.. I also like the castle segment...need more of that one..

NOT FREE. Claims its free but DA will tell you that a subscription is needed BEFORE you can watch. I pay for premium cable & watch many other network programs FREE through my TV Everywhere account. Destination America wants me to subscribe & pay EXTRA to use App & watch the same programs that are part of my cable package. So IT IS NOT FREE!! Im not about to pay for something that I've already paid for through my cable package. I'm not about to pay extra just to watch this fake sh**t on the go.

When Subscribers Can’t Subscribe. Shows won’t unlock. A message pops up saying that Destination America isn’t part of my subscription package yet it’s on my tv.

Used to watch... I wish they would have new shows instead of reruns.

Dest. America. This is not running smooth even though I’ve unlocked. Only got to see 1 uk Katrina & Nick. Then tried after the lockdown and None ran. Been looking for Nick & Katrina since last season. So frustrated don’t know if ill remember to check back to see if you’ve fixed problems. Also not many shows in total on Dest. America

Constant Comercials. It's the same commercials over and over and over. You can't even reload without another 5 minutes of commercials. Awful.

Okay app but nice.. This app is not a 5/5. But what I think 🤔 it is a 4/5. I love 😍 ”Destination America”. Exspetiuly the show ”Haunted Collector”, and ”Mountain Monsters”. The bad thing is, is that ”Haunted Collector” is not a Tv show anymore 😔. One thing about this app is that you have to sign up of your account for your TV. The thing why I don't like the is because it could be a spam. I'm not hating or anything but still. That's not necessary. So that's my review of this app. I know it's short but I don't really have a lot to say for this app. But if you are reading this, beware around children because there is cussing in some of the videos. But yeah, there's not a lot to say. So if I was reading this review I would take all of the information and use it wisely. But I would definitely download this app. If you download it hope you like it🙏😉😁.

Deleted. Deleted it since my satellite provider is not supported. I have Dish & contacted the app developers 2 times & still unable to unlock any other episodes. So that’s it. Bye.

Can’t ever get signed in. Useless app.. I have tried reloading this app over five times and STILL can’t get it to sign in so I can use it with my cable account. Little wheel just keeps spinning no matter what you do. Useless

Fix your ads. The ads you force to watch come up in the middle of the program constantly and then it never goes back to the show until I reload the app. It used to actually work.

I was ecstatic now I’m upset. I watched both of the seasons of ghost of Shepardstown with no problems and now I can’t watch anything. I’m deleting this. There’s no use in using this app anymore.

Can it do it's job?. I love the app by why is there no way to manually log in? It only ever wants to try and log into my friends wifi and use there xfinity account. If this is destination America go shouldn't I be able to use it on the go not at my house??

0 Star. I mean if your going to show fake tv shows why make it so they don’t play. I have Directv and episodes don’t play back on appleTV. Don’t download and save your time. A crappy company trying to steal your money. There are free options available

Horrible. I can’t even sign in. I have an account with att Uverse and direct tv and still can log on to anything. It’s a waste of my time and I love this channel. I was excited that I could watch what I love on my phone till I actually tried. Yeah waste of time

Seriously, no DISH?. Absurd. Never had this problem with any other channel.

Not working. So far, this app has worked once properly. I have on there apps like showtime, or hbo go. Which at times I have to re-enter my provider info, but after that... all works fine. But this app simply doesn't work. I've even tried deleting it and downloading again. It just doesn't help. I'm a big fan of destination America. It's a guilty pleasure in the spooky, scary department. Lol please fix my problem.

Great in the phone but now o dint have it in Ape TV. New Update: FINALLY there is an app for this and American Heroes channel on Apple TV! Thank you! Update-I have changed my rating to a 2 because of the Apple thing-and I've even tried to get customer support just to ASK of DA (also American Hero Channel) will get an Apple TV app and can get no response. I pay a provider for these channels -and HAD access to them on Apple TV when it was one app-do you really think TAKING part of your service AWAY is an improvement??? Because it definitely is NOT. Please fix this!!! Pretty please?? I actually like that now there is a specific app for each DiscoveryGO channel, and on my phone and iPad that's great, but why is is different on my Apple tv? When they broke the channels into their own apps, they made one for every channel (American Hero, Discovery ID, etc) EXCEPT for my favorite one-Destination America. Now I no longer have access to those shows through the original DiscoveryGo app and there isn't on for it. I can use my phone and mirror it, but it's frustrating to have to do it that way now. Will a Destination America app be upcoming??

Keeps crashing. Someone please fix the issue. Every time I try to cast a show like ghost brothers and my haunted house it freezes up and shuts down. All of my other apps work with chromecast so I know it's the app having the issue. I love this channel and want to keep up on my shows.

You seriously need to provide your tv provider??. What a joke. I specifically downloaded this app BECAUSE I don't have this channel on att uverse. What a joke. Add airplay!. No longer crashes since the update, so much improved. Would love to see airplay added so Apple users can airplay it to Apple TV. This is the only tv app on my phone that doesn't have that feature. Bummer!

Doesn't Work. The app doesn't work on the iPhone 6Plus. All it does is crash. Also... the app barely works sometimes on the iPad Pro 9.7 All of the devices are updated with the latest software and ample internet connection.

Why isn't this available on Apple TV?. The only reason for my low scoring is that it's not available on Apple TV. At this point it's pretty much one of the only channels that don't have an Apple TV app. I'd gladly give a better review if it comes out.

Awesome app. I love this app! I was so tired of waiting for my shows to come on TV and now I don't have to! There are still commercials but I can definitely deal with them to be able to watch my shows anytime anywhere. 🙂👍🏻

Favorite channel app. I was recently able to obtain the Destination America Channel, but missed out on Paranormal Activity. Now I can catch up on the season and explore new shows just like it. Found myself surfing with ease on this app. Appreciate it guys!

Needs some fixes. I was super excited to get this app--especially since our provider is actually listed!--but half the time I can only watch the very latest episode of a show, because if I choose an earlier episode, the app closes and kicks me off. Then I have to go all the way through signing in again. This app would be great if it actually worked properly.

NOT HAPPY. Worked fine until I switched to DirectTv now I’m being fed a line of BS that my provider doesn’t allow me to unlock episodes. FURIOUS because this is unacceptable!

Ridiculous. It shows 7 commercials at once and it was the same commercials over and over highlighting Virginia Beach. Don't mind commercials but the same one 7 times is a little to much.

Horrible!!. You can only watch like one episode of each series for free! You have to sign in to your cable provider to watch the rest! Obviously for a lot of people that would be fine but I don't have a provider that's why I was trying to watch some shows through the app! If it's a previous season that's already aired on tv I don't see why those ones can't be free!

Great App, but NEEDS CASTING OPTION. I love watching Destination America! It's one of my favorite Channels to watch, I love the fact that I can watch all the shows with my cable login in. The one thing with this app along with all the channels through this company is lack of casting support. I can't cast to my Apple TV, chromecast or roku TV. PLEASE PLEASE add a cast button for streaming devices! Also add an app for Apple TV, chromecast and roku!!!! That would be very much appreciated!

Eh. Would really like this app if it would stop crashing on my phone, iPhone 6s Plus. All the go apps seems to do this. Very annoying

App keeps crashing. App keeps crashing and shutting down within less than a minute of playback. Not worth the download. At this rate it could take you all day to watch one episode.

Doesn't have my tv provider. I love to watch all the shows of Destination America but they don't have my T.V. Provider. It's funny that they have all of the small company T.V. Provider but not a big like The one I have Dish Network. Please add it on so I can watch my favorite shows like Paranormal Witness and Mountain Monsters

No Apple TV App. While this app seems to work ok on the iPhone, it's only worth three stars until this app, like others, is included on the Apple TV, as others have noted.

Sign in repeatedly. Other than the fact that one has to sign in up to four times a day, and that there's sound only about 50% of the time on the watch live… good.

No Verizon Fios?!?. How can you not have support for one of the Largest cable providers?!?

Some of the most interesting viewing there is today. Viewing today leaves much to be desired I for one do not want to watch a group of people in a house together all over each other. Who thrives on the opinion an audience of 20 to 40 year olds are eager to become even more immoral ? It is great to see programs that are not sexually exploiting young people. I enjoy learning about ancient Egypt, or even folks attempting to chase ghosts, the strange unexplained, even hunting Bigfoot, or what it is like living in Alaska. The entertainment is actually good. Good but why are the commercial breaks so long. It's good but why are the commercials breaks freakin 3 min and 30 sec long! The travel channel app is literally a minute. (P.S. why are all the commercials all about spectrum tv)

Could be better. Really was excited when I saw this app. I have been wanting to watch other episodes of a haunting and my haunted house.. why only have the same episodes on the app that you already re-run every weekend on tv. A haunting has 8 seasons and you can't play anything but the same 10 that I have already watched on tv.. I don't get it!! Might use the app on a vacation or something but yeah that's about it. Really disappointed

Destination America lacks connectivity. The app works fine but connecting with your provider is biased at best. All the dish networks are listed including some of the lesser satisfying cable providers. But for some reason SuddenLink has been exempt and I'm sure the reason is political, I just went ahead and deleted this app from my device. I'll just continue to watch from TV.
