Testimonials:

"My only problem with this app is it always makes me fall asleep before I finish the stories! Which I guess is the point, but I always try to make it through and never succeed!"

- itsmeyoyeah

"I haven't slept all night without a sleep aid in ages. I've only had (slumber) for two nights, and I haven't slept like these two nights since I was a carefree kid! I have the Calm app, which also has bedtime stories, and that was ok, but still not a full night's sleep and not a lot of variety. Definitely not the control of content like this app provides. "

Pretty good. Slumber has a lot of the typical travel log type stories, some badly written formulaic story-like offerings, relaxation type meditations and these may be fine for many people to fall asleep. They also have a few of my favorites: wonderful voices reading very well written material. Some of these include The Jungle Book, Sherlock Holmes, The Wizard of Oz, etc. One of my very favorite readers, Abby Offer (sp? Sorry Abbie?) is found here but I wish she read better material. The guy who reads about the Norse gods, and the French Whisperer along with several others are excellent. If you want these readers, Slumber is a good second app to the best one, which eclipses them all with hundreds of thousands of free meditations and a sleep section far larger than any other entire app: Insight Timer. Plus for less than many apps you can go to Premium to support the site!

One time, and it's amazing! Read this!. I had a little trouble falling asleep to the "Leaf in a stream" because I had trouble not thinking about other things, luckily during the segment it relaxed me really well even though I was in the car, close to the end it talked about having random thoughts drift away like clouds in the blue sky, 2 mins before the end I was asleep in a car, with my seat barely leaned back. The only reason I woke up (Just now July 17th around 9:50) is because my dad played the baseball radio station. I loved just listening to it. And it gave me like a 2 min dream that I don't remember much, but I know it was soothing. After my dad played it on his phone I immediately downloaded the app, because it takes me awhile to fall asleep on a daily basis. I recommend this especially for road trips when the car is quiet with headphones. I plan on using this app many times more. THANKS YOU SLUMBER! -Anna's Ratings and Reviews

Some Suggestions Please Read (please don’t use an pre-written response). Hi, You are probably tired of me updating my reviews all of the time, but I have a view suggestions. Over all this is a great app, but I find myself getting bored of the same stories. I don’t know if you actually communicate with the narrators or the writers, but here are some story ideas. “Airline Slumber” I love planes and having a story about it would be great! “The Australian Train Ride” I love the train stories and the Australian train rides are extremely beautiful. “North Carolina Trails” maybe walking through the woods on a relaxing hike, finally reaching the top of the mountain. Also, I understand it is harder to record two people doing the same story, but I would like it if we could have a choice for a female or male voice. You all are probably working very hard during these rough times, and I would like your team to know that y’all are helping so many people, and all of y’all are worth it. Thank you for helping so much people with the stress of COVID-19. 5 star girl

Never slept better!. I downloaded this app about a year ago when I was traveling for work and having difficulty blocking out ambient sounds. I haven’t been able to fall asleep with “background noise” before. But the Story Drone stories narrated by Abbe Opher did the job. Her voice is so soft and soothing. I also really enjoy listening to the stories by The French Whisperer. I chose this app for its stories specifically. You can add other ambient sounds (crickets, ocean waves, rain, etc) to the background while listening to the story, which I love. It is less expensive than the Calm app. It doesn’t have as many options as Calm, but I’m ok with that. There are ambient sounds and meditations if that’s what you’re after. I love this app, highly recommend it! Thanks for helping me sleep, Slumber.

LOVE THIS APP. I am a 51 year old business owner who takes care of my mother and sister in law. My days are horribly hectic, dealing with hormone related insomnia, taking care of others, running a business and finding time to give to my 25 year marriage, I have a terrible time falling asleep. A friend recommended the Slumber app, and I gave it a try. I have not made it through one whole story without falling asleep. I love that you can pick who you want to read to you, some readers don’t help me sleep, others do. It entirely depends on what essence in a voice works for you. You can even pick what stories they read based on what appeals to you. I have found the what doesn’t matter as much as the who. Every night I drift right off to sleep. If you don’t want to bother your bed partner get a nice pair of soft headband headphones and drift off without bothering anyone else! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Has helped my insomnia for more than a year!. I have had horrible insomnia for as long as I can remember. I’ve been prescribed sleeping pills and anxiety medications to help knock me out. Somehow, this app just helps my mind to focus on a story or meditation and allows my mind to stop racing long enough for me to fall asleep. I was having some success with the free version but started getting to the point where I was reciting the words in my head because I had heard them so many times, which kept my awake. I finally got the premium version and use it pretty much every day! I would say I have gotten my money’s worth, especially considering I was paying 5x as much on medications. I do wish more of the content was longer (I hate when I get to the end of one and am still awake) and that more was released more often, but that’s my only complaint!

A great sleep inducer. I've ALWAYS had sleep issues...both falling asleep and staying asleep. I've had this app less than a week, but it seems to help with both. When I wake up at night, I just hit play, and pretty much fall right back to sleep...sometimes within a few minutes, instead of an hour or more :) It also gives you the option to have ambient music behind narration, which is nice. I would give it five stars but for a few minor things. You only get a few stories in free version before you have to start buying additional stories. You can play free ones over again, and I guess making money is goal. Also, some voices are more soothing than others, but that's a personal preference...they all do the job. Def an app worth downloading, and I might buy another story or two if I get really tired of the ones that come with it, but they are $3 each, so...

Updated review. Ok I’m bumping this up to 5 stars now. The developer responded and I haven’t had problems since those two nights a few months ago. I love love the sleep stories. I usually don’t have a problem sleeping but I have pretty bad anxiety so every now and then I get cycling thoughts and can’t sleep. Now, I just put on a sleep story and repeat the words back to myself to stop the cycling and it pretty much always works! I don’t have the paid and it’s not a problem, I find it comforting to listen to the same stories over and over. I rarely pay for apps and wouldn’t mind paying for this one if it was a small flat fee but a subscription or a $250 flat fee is just way too much!! Love the app though. This app does have a weird fascination with pyramids showing up in stories though lol 🤔😂 ———— I used this app last night at 3 am when I was on the verge of an anxiety attack and the story TOTALLY worked and I loved it and I told a bunch of people about it... Now tonight the app won’t open, it just freezes/doesn’t load at all. I’m only seeing the picture of the moon. I tried deleting and reinstalling and it did the same thing. 😫 I’m so sad and now I’m all worked up before bed EDIT: I’m bumping this up to three stars because when it works it REALLY works. I hope they fix this soon.

Incredible!. I am trialing both the Slumber App and the Calm App. I really love them both but I keep coming back to Slumber. I love that you have full control of the background sound effects. It’s also lesser expensive then the Calm App. They have a much broader selection of my favorites, Soothing Nature Sounds. The sounds are so incredibly crisp, sharp, realistic, hypnotic in a 3D sense and the selections aren’t your typical sounds you find in every other app. They really stepped outside of the box and put much time and emphasis into it. I hate going to bed at night for my own personal reasons, however the Slumber App makes me EXCITED to go to sleep every night! I can’t wait to try out a new sound theme or cozy story when my head falls to my white down fluffy pillow:)) You have nothing to lose to just to try it out for 7 days for FREE! It’s really easy to get out of it if you choose not to keep it. I bailed on the Calm App after my trial and it was as easy as one click so I’m sure it’s the same protocol with this one, but trust me,,,,you’ll probably want to keep it:)) I’m definitely keeping this one! You guys saved my sleeping life! Thank you!!!

Such a help. There hasn’t been much besides my children that has changed my life but this app has! I have never, ever been able to go to sleep in the dark. I’ve always had a bathroom light on and the TV. Someone told me about the app Calm. I tried it but found it to be very frustrating unless you paid. I have only downloaded The free version of Slumber so far. I’m a skeptic, what can I say. I’ve used it for three weeks. I fall asleep in under five minutes. In the dark with no television. It has literally changed how well I fall asleep and sleep for the rest the night. I don’t know that I actually need to pay for this app because what they offer you in free choices is actually enough. But I think I’m going to join anyway just as a thank you for making such a great product.

CAN’T SLEEP WITHOUT IT. I have been paying for the Headspace app for quite some time, but found myself going days and weeks without using it. I found the biggest thing I was missing was more options for sleep meditation. I tried everything to help me fall asleep (lavender, sleep masks, reading before bed). Nothing worked until I found SLUMBER. Since downloading slumber, I have not gone a single night without using it. I love how many options you have to fall asleep to. I used to have a hard time going to sleep at a decent hour. I now get excited to go to bed so I can listen to a dream story or a meditation. I tried the free version for about a week until I decided I needed to pay for the year. Totally worth it!! Thank you slumber for helping me fall asleep again! I haven’t slept like this since I was a toddler.

Free? Heck Yeah!. I have been using the free version for almost a year because I have not been able to afford the premium version, and I love it! There are about ten different recordings you can listen to: some are stories, some are background noise, and some are meditations. I can set the recording to repeat once or twice just in case the first 20 minutes didn’t put my out (which normally, it does. I just wake up if the recording stops to early). You can adjust the music and other background noises for your recording, like trains, crickets, rain, leaves, and so much more! This has been helping me fall asleep on band trips, nights before big tests, and even election night (omg)! This Christmas there is no doubt I am going to invest in premium to have access to the hundreds of new episodes!

Life-long insomaniac recommended. I have always had trouble falling asleep. On a typical night I would take 2-3 hours, better with medication but I don't want to rely on that all the time. White noise has always been a help so I thought I would try something a little more. I've been using this app for over a year and notice big improvements in both how long it takes me to sleep and the quality (lack of restlessness) of my sleep. Having slumber playing through my headphones while I lay in bed has been the most relaxed I've been, even when I'm not sleeping. I know it's helping distract my brain and calm me down because there are hour-long stories I don't hear the endings of! And there are so many different options of stories, voices, soundscapes, etc. that you're bound to find something that works for you.

I love it! 😍 just a suggestion.. I love the app! It's amazing! The stories are so relaxing! And they even have a "Free" tab, so you don't have to keep scrolling to find a free one if you don't have the premium. I find that super convenient, many of these types of apps don't have a "Free" tab, but this has!!! I really love how this is setup. My favorite sound has to be the barbershop. Only because I can't try out any of the other sounds. And yes, there is another sound but I'm not a fan of that. So maybe could you put some sounds for free? This is just an idea that I have. What if there's a rotation? Like for the stories, the sounds. So one rotation would last 1 month, and there is 12 rotations, so you could experience all of what you guys have to offer! This is just an idea, it's okay if don't take it. Thank you for reading!!

Best Sleep App I’ve Used. I never write reviews, but I absolutely have to rave about Slumber. Not only do I feel like this is one of the best sleep apps I’ve ever used, I dare say it may actually be the best. Even my SO has commented on how much better my sleep (and his by proxy) has gotten. This app is worth every single penny. For reference I’ve always had trouble falling, and staying asleep. And, I travel a lot for work. With Slumber it’s much easier for me to fall asleep on planes, in hotels, and at home. I still wake up throughout the night, but far less frequently and I fall back asleep faster. Do your health and well-being a favor and give this app a try. I think I started with a free week trial, or the free version (I can’t recall now). But, I knew after only a couple nights that I was going to make the commitment. You might too!

Please add new sleep meditations.... I purchased a year subscription because I wanted to listen to sleep meditations. However they haven’t really added any new ones since the pandemic started 9 months ago. They do add content, but it’s mostly story drones which keep me up. So I have to listen to the same meditations over and over which gets boring. Please start adding sleep meditations again. Especially in this time of stress and anxiety, we need that. Also they use to have a list format. They unnecessarily changed it to an image gallery style. Now I have to scroll for days to find what I’m looking for. I also cannot easily identify new content like I could before. It makes me think that they are trying to hide the fact that they aren’t adding much new content. If they would fix these things, I would gladly rate it five stars.

Best Sleep App Ever!. I’ve tried a few apps for sleep, and this one is by far my favorite. I tried the free version first, and loved it so much that I paid for a year subscription. This is probably one of my only apps that was worth spending money on. And I mean ALL of my apps, not just the sleep ones. I love that they add new stories and narrations often, and it’s fun that Slumber releases seasonally-appropriate stories (pumpkin stuff in autumn, cherry blossom viewing in spring). You can also toggle a variety of white noise options (rain, birds) to superimpose on the narration if you like. The only change I might suggest is an option to delay the start of the program after the user presses play, maybe just 30 seconds or a minute or two, because after I start the selection I still need to get comfortable and say goodnight to my hubby, and my rustling around makes it hard to hear the very beginning of the story. Still gets 5 stars from me, and will get another subscription from me when my year is up.

Over 700 sessions and still LOVE it!. I’m a psychiatrist and recommend this app to patients with sleep trouble regularly. I myself have been using it for a couple of years now and have listened to over 700 sessions so far and continue to love how it’s developed over time. I now have a nursing newborn and this program is a lifesaver when trying to get back to sleep after a night waking. The premium subscription has been worth it for the variety offered and the regularly new content. The customer service has been great. I can’t say enough positive about Slumber. It has definitely changed the sleep game for me. I highly recommend using sleep headphones with it. Happy sleeping!

Amazing App. I was very hesitant to pay $45 a year for an app I was unsure if I’d consistently use. On top of that, I felt like the week long trial wasn’t enough time for me to determine how well this app worked. Well, I decided to risk it anyway and I am so glad I did. This app puts me to sleep within 30 minutes, and now my fiancé can’t sleep without it, either! All of the narrators have soothing voices that somehow magically put me to sleep. I love knowing that every night, no matter how wired my brain is or what my sleeping pattern was like the night before, I can always rely on this app to get me to fall asleep. The last time I dealt with insomnia was the reason why I downloaded this app— I haven’t dealt with it since! My mind is able to relax and slow down thanks to this app, thus helping me to fall into a deep slumber. I love this app and have recommended it to all of my family and friends!

Slumber Sleep Stories. I have used sleep apps for over a year and just started using slumber. I love slumbers sleep stories and how they have so many that I can listen to a new sleep story every night so I don’t get bored with the same stories. Hopefully Slumber continues its sleep story content and continues with new stories, episodes so I can use this app and continue to be pleasantly surprised. The narrators on slumber are very good. I’ve tried other apps where the narrators just don’t sound comforting. Slumber is 1 of the 2 of my favorite sleep apps and I’m hoping it can continue to grow. It’s hard for me to sleep and Slumber helps so much! Slumber is an amazing sleep story app definitely try it and you go to sleep with ease and comfort! Bedtime stories are for adults we need them more. Your asleep before you know it! Sleep Stories really work well and help you fall asleep!

It puts me to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep right away as just starting a story helps me relax and clear my mind. When I’m awake longer, I enjoy the stories. This app is incredible. It’s very professional high quality in every way. The creators understand the psychology of insomnia. The stories are written knowing this. The readers are amazing. They are soothing but not boring. There is an immense variety and amount of stories in so many categories with soothing backgrounds that can be customized if you choose. After 2 years there is still so much I haven’t tried. I like my favorites which are saved. There are “series” of stories, for example Lily of The Rainy Day Bakery. They are my absolute favorites with a new one just added. This fall I got into the various autumn and Thanksgiving stories. It seems that as an adult, I still like my favorite bedtime stories, just as when a child. I think this is common and the creators know it. You may explore the vast variety here and find what you like best. We must all vary much and have our preferences, all catered to in Slumber. I can only suggest if you are here looking for a sleep app, try this one and I think you will be very pleased.

Great app and customer service. I use this app almost every night to help me fall asleep, I have had it for almost 4 years. I never hear the ending of the story because it always puts me to sleep. Also keeps my mind from wondering and thinking about stuff I don’t need to be thinking about. Recently there was an update where people who had already paid for the app got locked out and were being told they had to repay for the app, including me, I was really upset and even considered putting a terrible review. I sent two different emails to slumber to try and fix the account. I got responses from both emails I sent. Specifically Michael emailed me with instructions on how to fix my account, low and behold it worked so it’s all unlocked again!

Love it!!. This app is what can I say... amazing!! This helps me sleep every night! And app workers or what ever you are called listen I think that there shouldn’t be any premium things. Because some stories that people want to listen got they can’t because it’s premium. So if you don’t want to pay 4.99 a month wait a second so if you were to pay $4.99 each month for a year or 12 months for an entire year that would be ummm... you would be paying 5,988 dollars a year for an app. I just think that that’s silly 🙃 so if you guys don’t want to waste 5,988 a year on an app then don’t get premium but if you don’t mind wasting your money then yah I suggest that you do it. But then again just saying this is my opinion you don’t have to take this seriously if you don’t want to. Well if you do get this app I just know that you will love it!! ❤️ 🥰

Doesn't save all files. Jun 9 As of last update. After having deleted all files then trying to re-download specific files, this app only saved 2 files of all that were listed to my iPhone 5s. This app now causes me to have waste precious download bandwidth every time I want to listen to most tracks. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP! THIS ISSUE IS UNACCEPTABLE! IT'S VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT THE AUTHORS LET THIS BUG OCCUR! THIS BUG SHOULD HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED DURING TESTING UNLESS THIS CONDITION WAS BY DESIGN, WHICH IS EVEN MORE DEPLORABLE! Apr 9 Helped me fall asleep. I mostly used the meditations with the female orators. Other times, when I played the bedtime stories. But the meditations were my favorites. I especially like the meditations that were read by Kate. I have tried other sleep aid, but this Slumber app has them all beat hands down! PLUS, it's a drug free approach to solving an age old problem for a many of us insomniacs out here. Well done!

Love this app. I’ve did the trial and it worked wonderfully for me. I’ll subscribe in the near future when I get a chance. I have found the free stories/meditations to be just as amazing as the full subscription ones. They put me to sleep every time, no matter how many times I have to Listen to them! There’s too much complaining about having to pay for an app that has multiple free options, multiple types of stories, a brand new podcast, and the ability to tune the ambient noises within the app (a feature I LOVE). It’s simple: programmers and app developers don’t work for free and deserve compensation when their hard work is benefitting so many. Thank you, Slumber, for helping me! I recommend this app to everyone who has a tough time quieting their thoughts.

Not sure what I would do without this app!. It sounds a little crazy but one reason I am reviewing this is that this is the most useful app I have ever had and I worry that one day it won’t be there to put me to sleep anymore. Give it a try—this is just an amazing app to help you sleep. The engaging sleep stories are updated weekly and the best voice of everyone is Thomas. I will listen to anything he reads. Lots of English accents overall (shoutout to Abbe, Sam and Simon) which are somehow particularly restful. The music and soundscapes are fantastic too. They help put me fall asleep, help me back to sleep if I wake up and even just calm me down if Im stressed out. I’ve tried Calm and BetterSleep and Slumber is so much better in every way. Thank you Slumber for being an essential part of my sleep every night!

Amazing sleep app. I subscribed to Calm and like their stories. The ones offered here allow the option of background sounds additionally. This is a truly life changing app. I got used to going to sleep to stories with that other app and tried this just before that renewed, which is more expensive than this app. This has taken its place and offers more around sleep specifically versus straight meditation. The options with the free app are great yet subscribing opens all the past offerings. Amazing amazing amazing with different voices and accents so you have plenty of choice. Additionally, this app offers a darker screen that is conducive to use in the dark before bed. Never harsh or bright. The pictures are soothing and relaxing and add to the calm you feel using this app. Sure, use the free one yet subscribe to support the app maker and have many more archives to explore. Excellent. Soothing. Calming. Helps me fall asleep especially when away from home. I don’t even need anything at home to fall asleep just feel comforted hearing it and having it as a routine for sleep. Sets a totally amazing mood. My spouse listens with me and has also gotten used to it in a good way and finds it soothing and comforting.

LOVE this app!. So I love sleep stories and have worked my way through all of the ones on Audible, Calm, Hatch. I randomly clicked on ‘slumber’ from a list of recommended sleep apps and I’m so glad I did. I did the free trial and fell asleep before the stories ended 7 nights straight. But by night 2, I realized the vast library of stories would be worth the subscription. My favorite stories are the rainy day bakery ones and I really hope more of these are in the works! It would be nice to be able to speed up/slow down the narrator speed, a few are kind of too slow for my taste. I think it would also be awesome to be able to create playlists of multiple stories and soundscapes for those nights when I know it’s going to take a while for sleep to come. I hope more sound effects are also coming, but I LOVE that I can listen to my stories with rain in the background. Excellent app and definitely worth the subscription fee, especially if you find falling asleep a challenge.

READ THIS!. This is the best app EVER. This might be the only app that actually makes me go to sleep and I ADORE IT. Being a tween girl, it’s hard to fall asleep at night with all of the notifications u get on your phone. But when u get this app and put your phone on do not disturb ITS AMAZING. I do have one complaint tho, this app has story’s u could listen to while going to sleep. BUT! Not all the story’s are free, it’s upsetting that u actually have to pay or do a free trial. Like I said being a tween, u don’t get everything you want. Especially if it cost money. I know this is the only other way to make money but with an app like this, the LAST thing you wanna do is pay for your sleep. I want to be a game developer when I get older. I understand that payment choices are ads or paying constantly. All I ask is if u could make more things free. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK 👍🏽👍🏽

A life saver. I wanted to wait to write this review to see if this app really worked and if it’s true that it gets better the more you use it. Boy am i glad I waited. I have been having trouble falling asleep at night and wanted to try a natural solution vs medication and started listening to different sound machines on some streaming services. They weren’t enough and I still had trouble falling asleep. When I first started listening to the free sleep meditations I thought it was so silly but I felt my body listening to the soothing voice and actually relaxing. I don’t remember how the story ends because I fell asleep. Now after 56 nights using it I fall asleep in the first 3-5 minutes of putting it on and seriously considering the full version which is only $40 a year ($3 and change a month). I am so happy I downloaded this app and look forward to having good night sleeps for the rest of my life!!!

Love this app. This app has been helping me sleep for almost 5 years now. I enjoy the selection of stories and soundscapes. They also release news stories frequently which I really like. I like that you can infinite loop the audio so it plays through the night. The functionality of the app could be better. It would be nice if you could queue up different stories to play through the night. Sometimes I find that I wake up and want to play something different. I also wish you could customize your favorites folder. It saves rather randomly and I have to find what I want to listen to by searching the name. If you took this app and combined it with, for example, the Spotify’s app’s functionality it would be superb.

Couple suggestions. This app has been really helpful! I used to lie awake at night for at least an hour because my mind is going a mile a minute but now I fall asleep a lot more easily. I do have a couple suggestions though: 1. Would love to be able to see more of a historical timeline that tells you which story you listened to on which day and what time you started it. Right now it just gives you a streak number which tbh is a bit stupid because it isn’t always accurate. I’ve listened to stories before and then it doesn’t count them for some reason so my streak resets. 2. This happened to me last night for the first time but I guess I ran into an error in the middle of the story. I don’t know the specifics because I was sleeping when it happened but essentially, the story stopped at some point and then it just kept playing the soundscape in the background. Which is fine, I don’t necessarily have a problem with that if something goes wrong. However, it continued past the length of the story and just kept playing. And that’s the part that I think needs to be fixed because it ended up waking me up in the middle of the night which kind of ruins the whole point of using this app in the first place to fall asleep properly.

Best sleep app ever!!. I have had a lot trouble in the past falling and staying asleep. Often, I would be up super late because of my anxious brain or I would wake up way too many times in the night. Eventually, I decided that I should try a sleep app. I looked for quite a while and none of them were that good. But when I came across Slumber, it seemed almost too good to be true (spoiler alert: it is even better than I thought it was going to be). Everything about Slumber is incredible: the different narrators, adjustable background noises and music, the layout, the feature that allows me to loop stories or set a delayed ending, the super calming stories that are interesting enough to distract me from my thoughts but not too interesting that I can’t sleep because I’m thinking too much about the story. Everything. Slumber is the ONLY sleep app that I’ve ever used that has consistently helped me fall asleep easily and stay asleep. I am so so so glad I found Slumber. I would give it 100 stars if I could, but unfortunately, my rating is limited to the 5 stars provided to me. Get. This. App. You will not be disappointed! :)

Who knew?. I was really surprised to see apps like this cropping up in the App Store. Who knew adults can use bedtime stories as well? Well, aside from the devs that is. The one issue I have with this app is that there really is not a way to change the volume of the narrator’s voice like you can with all the other background sounds. The narrator’s voice gets muddied by the background sounds on my Echo (2nd gen). Yes I can turn all the other sounds down but I want to hear them AND the narrator. I want to hear him clearly. I’ve turned my bass and midrange down all the way and the treble up all the way but it doesn’t help. Because of the deep voice blending with the background, I start thinking of the teacher in Charlie Brown... "Wa wah waahh." Fix that and this will be 100% in my book and an app I’ll keep paying for!

Favorite Sleeping App. Slumber is my favorite app that I used and I would give it 5 starts for the free version of it. I feel like my availability and freedom throughout the app was very nice for the amount I “paid”. In this app I got to listen and experience music of my choice to fall asleep to. I never thought I could go to sleep so easily with music playing, but it really worked. I got to choose which sounds stood out more and how loud it was. I got to choose from ocean, rain, fire, birds and much more. My personal favorite was the rain and fire. This app helped me go to sleep faster because my mind was focused on the sounds rather than then my thoughts. I also got really good sleep because I had no dreams that I recalled which means no nightmares that woke me up like I usually have. In general, this app was great for $0 and helped me sleep better. The only thing I would recommend is a little bit more availability for the free users in the “just added” category. Lastly, the overall appearance and set up of the app was easy to use and very relaxing and satisfying to look at with the color choice.

THANK YOU!. I suffer from severe chronic joint and spinal issues, and as a result, sleep very poorly. Hard to fall asleep, hard to sleep deeply, wake up often, and when I DO sleep, I usually have bad dreams. About as far from restful as you get. I downloaded the Slumber app out of desperation (and because the price for the premium was reasonable). Lack of sleep causes depression and a whole slew of other negative issues which I know all too intimately. I spent a fascinated 45 minutes scrolling through the various categories and selections, playing with settings. I absolutely adore being able to customize additional background sounds, and in short order had created the perfect custom mix that sounds exactly like one of my favorite places on earth - northern Minnesota during the deep summer. Crickets, gentle rain, barely audible music as accompaniment. From the very first bedtime use, what I experienced was deeper relaxation, quicker sleep, staying asleep longer, and...no bad dreams. If that last was all I’d gotten from the app, I’d have still counted it as my best and wisest download ever. I could not possibly be more pleased. Thank you for saving my sanity.

No customer support. For seven months I have been very happy with this app. It’s suddenly stopped working completely. I sent a request to support it has been several days now (at least 48 hours +). I have heard nothing. I have tried deleting and rebooting the app I have tried rebooting the phone. It simply continues to tell me that an unknown error occurred. I am in a nightmare loop. Manage Your app gives really no options other than extending your membership. But that does not solve my problem. Stopping my subscription does not solve the problem. There are five more months that I have paid for. If anything makes me crazy with this type of purchase it is the lack of customer support. Very disappointed.

Almost there. I’ve subscribed to this app for 4 years! Recently, I’ve noticed the stories just stop. It could be a 30 minute track, but it will stop several minutes before the end and just pause. This happens to more than 75% of the tracks I choose. It also doesn’t matter if I have the track looped, it stops before ever finishing the track. I used to love this app, it was so helpful, but now the sudden stopping of tracks actually wakes me up due to the sudden silence. Also, for the hundreds of options available, my “tonight in slumber” track has been the same one for 2 years! I don’t have that author as a favorite and I don’t listen to it, and yet, the algorithm never changes. Yes, I make sure the app is updated, as I’ve said this has been going on for a many months. I’ve just gotten so sick of waking up to slumber, when it’s supposed to help me sleep. This used to be a great app, but it’s absolutely gone down in quality. I’ll let this subscription end and find a new app. I no longer recommend this app.

Sooo Wonderful!. We are only a couple nights in, but so far this app has surpassed my expectations! Usually I cannot fall asleep with any noise such as tv or music and have had on/off issues with insomnia for years. It’s especially hard for me to fall asleep and staying asleep never happens. I’ve had to rely on numerous medications - which led to weird side effects like sleepwalking and sleep eating (amongst other weird things). Recently I realized my young son (7yrs old) is also having sleep issues and I don’t like having it give him melatonin every night. Well, we tried this app and we were both out like never before! The sound of Dan Jones’ voice is sooooo relaxing! My son asked me what happened at the end of the story and I couldn’t tell him! So glad I found this!

Most Helpful Sleeping App I’ve Ever Found!. Most apps like this have very limited choices for short stories, and i can hardly find a really nice story before getting an advertisement about going premium! but this app isn’t like that at all, it’s got multiple great story choices and beautiful white noise that plays in the background, in addition to those features, the app itself is very beautiful and fun to navigate. to tell the truth i don’t only use it for sleep, i use it when i’m on a walk or even a bike ride, studying, drawing, or anything else that requires focus. my favorite story to listen to so far is “The Cats Journey” - if you have trouble getting to sleep or if you just prefer white noise in the background, turn on Slumber and just relax!

It Works. I’ve always been a light sleeper, and have had terrible problems falling and/or staying asleep since having children over 12 years ago. I’ve tried pills, pillows, counseling, meditation, music, boring audiobooks, etc with only fair success at best. I also rarely pay for apps, and this is the most expensive app I have ever bought! But I was desperate to get some decent sleep. At first I wasn’t successful with this app, but after trying different things the app offered, including things that I didn’t think would work, it’s been great! I usually fall asleep fairly quickly, and even better, when I wake at 3 am, it gets me right back to sleep (rather than be awake for 2 and 1/2 hours and then have to get up at 6:00 like I did for years). It’s not perfect 100% of the time, but it is by far the best “sleep aid” I have tried.

Great app for sleep. I’ve used slumber for almost a year. Some of the narrators I like better than other, which is why being able to search by narrator is handy. They choice of stories is great, short stories to narratives that are a couple hours long. You can also learn something while listening, they have stories to take you to other countries or teach you about history, and some are just for fun. The sounds relaxing music is nice too but I still prefer to listen to the stories, with soft music in the background. There are even children’s stories for parent who need something to help their little ones fall asleep. Less expensive than other apps and I kinda of prefer not having “celebrity” voices which make me start thinking about their movies or something instead of focusing on the story.

Game changer. I absolutely love this app! I did the free version but upgraded to a year’s subscription of the premium almost immediately. Already worth every penny. I don’t have severe insomnia or anything like that, but have for awhile had problems with waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep. I tried Benadryl every night (I don’t advise this - daily use can cause some really unpleasant side effects!) and also Melatonin, but Slumber beats anything else I have tried by a long shot! I use a soft Bluetooth speaker headband and keep it on low all night long. For lack of a better description, it gives my brain something to “latch on” to if I wake up instead of whatever else (snippets of conversations, songs, things I read the day before etc.) is banging around in my head. The stories and voices are soothing (the French Whisperer is my favorite) and wonderfully boring LOL, so I just drift back off to sleep in no time. I just wish I had found this a long time ago. Download it now and buy the Premium, you won’t regret it.

It works. Not gonna lie, I was really skeptical about this. I’ve used other sleep apps, white noise, etc. I got the free trial with the intention of cancelling it after the 14 days but after 4 nights of the best sleep I’ve had in ages, I think I’m going to have to keep it. I love the options for stories, and that once they’re done it turns to white noise and you can set a timer on that. So far I’ve heard none of the stories in entirety because I fall asleep so quickly. Usually I can fall asleep within an hour or 2 of going to bed but I wake a lot. Since using this app I don’t wake up much, maybe once per night (compared with my previous 5-10 times per night). I fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, and wake up feeling better.

GET THIS APP!. This app is so great and has helped me so much with sleeping. I used to have sleeping problems, and would lay in my bed restless all night… Until I found about Slumber. I just choose a free track and play it and it is like it just helps me drift off to sleep. You guys are so helpful, thank you soooo much. But there’s something I think you guys should add to… There are only two free meditations and I’ve already done both and only one of them really helped me. It would help a lot if you made a few more free… It doesn’t have to be that many, but the same meditation is kinda repetitive. I say this for all the other things, like stories, sounds etc. There’s really not much free and I debated on buying the premium but didn’t. Anyway, thank you guys so much! Slumber is great! Five star rating ABSOLUTELY!

Wonderful app!. This app has a lot of great features that no other apps on Apple Store has. And the meditations are wonderful. So many to choose from. I also like the sounds. My favorite it walking in the snow. Most of the content say welcome to slumber at the beginning and it makes me happy and relaxed to hear it because I know I am about to be calm and relaxed and ready to sleep. The voices are really good and many different people to chose from. Also you can choose the meditations or stories by the narrator which is great. You can also choose to have whatever you are listening to to repeat 1 or 2 times or even on continuous. That is a great feature that no other app I have downloaded has. The price is also really nice. The other thing I would like is more hypnosis meditation but there is about 3 I think already. And maybe more audiobooks. But if you like fairy tales, you will like the audiobooks they do offer. I personally do not. The only other audiobook is a defective one and I do not like defective books. All and all though I would definitely recommend this app.

This app actually helps. Before I found slumber I tried different apps like Calm and Headspace. Slumber was the best for me out of all of them mostly because of it’s many free options. I’m a sleepless teen who’s parents won’t pay for something like this even though it has been so useful. Although Calm and Headspace has free options as well, they have much less and they are harder to find. Most teens struggle so much with sleep I’m glad that there is at least one place with a few free options. In a few years if I’m still struggling with sleep I would be willing to pay for more but until then this app has been very helpful. One thing I might add is that the sleep stories should be a little more entertaining, something to fall asleep to rather than a description of something to bore you to sleep.

Used to take me hours to sleep!. I would always be up at night reading on my phone, but as soon as I got tired and put my phone down, I wouldn’t be able to sleep. I saw this app advertised and decided to give it a try. I looked around on the app and settled on dragons fire. I put the phone under my pillow and listened through it. It felt like someone was right there reading me the story. I was intrigued with the story, listening along for what felt like almost the whole story. I thought to myself I wouldn’t be able to sleep with just one episode. Next thing I know, it’s the morning and I don’t remember how the story ended. Just my first night trying it and I already slept in less than 30 mins. Amazing app, definitely going to continue using this at night.

Best overall sleep app available.. Slumber allows you to pick from several modalities of talk oriented sleep inducing paradigms. Dream Stories are bedtime stories which guide you into sleep and relaxation. Ex: “The Deep Dive” obviously written by a scuba diver, talks you thru a dive so accurate and intense you feel you are actually experiencing the dive. With “The Distant Storm” you feel you are on a beach, w warm sun and sand at sunset, listening to the waves and watching a beautiful storm in the distance. The stories are engrossing yet very relaxing and sleep inducing. Sleep Meditations are less involved w the story line and much more involved w your body and thoughts and tensions keeping you awake. Thru breathing techniques and progressive relaxation you are in almost a state of self hypnosis and gently encouraged to let go of all thoughts and sleep. W both the Stories and the Meditations u set up your preferred background sounds which continue for as long as you choose. I usually use headphones w either my phone or my iPad, since in your background settings there are Binaural beats’ which encourage alpha stage sleep, but I sometimes just put my head near my device and listen. It’s a wonderful feeling to realize you have been sleeping and you can just turn over and go back to sleep.

BEST SLEEP OF MY LIFE. I've struggled with hard-core insomnia my entire life. One recalcitrant to any and all interventions and medications. So when I say that after I gave Slumber a chance, it was the best thing I've ever done. I've never slept so freaking GOOD, it is astounding. The perfection of medically-proven calming techniques, awe-inspiring and exquisitely written stories, even fantasy ones (!!!!), and soporific soundscapes (fire on the beach, rain on tin roof being just a few of the best) make for one speedy trip to dreamtown yall. And they add a new story about every night. It is solidly the best decision I've ever made and I stand five-stars all the way behind it. I've fallen asleep within minutes every single night since that first time using Slumber and I've not looked back. I sleep so soundly, you just have to have Slumber. Guaranteed best sleep of your life. It is literally LIFE CHANGING.

Not full access or not working properly. Can not access sleepy bedtime stories or if I open one it stops before completion Which is so annoying and defeats the purpose of relaxation!

Could be more budget friendly. I love it and for years now have paid for the subscription but unfortunately due to Costs can’t afford it anymore , I’m disappointed that even after paying so much o couldn’t at least access my couple of favourites still :( fair enough no new content but more options for payment levels would be nice

the only app that gets me to sleep. i’ve only used this for a few nights when i up late on my phone and i’ve tried those other really popular meditation apps for sleeping but literally none of them get me to sleep and every time i’ve used this i’ve fallen asleep before the end. i love that they go for longer than usual and i think it is really good that they have an option to keep the background noises going for a specific time after the speaking has finished such as wind, rain, river noises ect. i absolutely love this app and would recommend it to everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finally a full night’s sleep!. I have so much trouble falling aslee, always have. My beautiful cousin sent me the app to try and it worked l! Thank you

Just for this moment. I really enjoyed the just for this moment guided meditation but there is one problem in the of the night l had a bad dream and l had to wake my parents up because l had a bad dream but l was going to do one of the meditations after had nightmares but then l remembered that my parents had put a screen time limit on my iPad they had put it on 10:00 at night till 6:00 in the morning so l could not put the meditation on because l did not know the password only my parents did but l loved the just for this moment guided meditation and tonight l might try another fantastic meditations. Thank you so much for making this app l think you made an amazing app thank you again for making this app others will hopefully go to sleep.

Amazingggg. I literally fall asleep within 15 minutes of listening to the lead on a stream one!! Even when I’m highly stressed the day before an exam

Amazing. I used to have trouble falling asleep but now that I use slumber no more problems you can have story’s calming music or cool sound affects whatever you need slumber will provide it’s a great sleep app and if it doesn’t work for you that’s fine but please try it you might find your new sleep app

Fantastic for anxiety. I suffer from anxiety, which often leads to paranoia and insomnia. The sounds on this app knock me right out at night! There are so many wonderful sounds to choose from, and you can customise what you hear in the background as well. I ran into a few minor issues and they were solved within 24 hours. Excellent customer service, love the app!

Great sends me to sleep every time. 😊

This App is 🅰🅼🅰🆉🅸🅽🅶. I totally recommend this app! It helped me sleep and always lets me express my stress. I've been using this for months! Thank you very much!

Slumber. Slumber is a really good sleep/ meditation app I have been using it every night for the past 2 months and every time it helps me go to sleep and I wake up refreshed and ready for the day. Excellent app would recommend.

Great app!. This app has helped me through countless restless nights, I can’t recommend this app enough to people who wanting to rewind before bed!

Bliss. Love this app, now addicted every night. The French whisperer has the most amazing voice, as well as Christian, I find I feel so peaceful during the day after listening to my 300 sleep affirmations

Such a great app. The collection of soothing stories never fails to relax me and lull me to sleep! Love this app!

The best. A fantastic app with endless content/options. Excellent free options too, I recommend this app to everyone I know.

Not too bad. Barely anything is open and nothing loads for me. Meditation is my only comfort at night and it would be great if less things were “pay to get” and it would load.

free offerings change without warning. Rainy Day Bakery is my favourite and helps me sleep so well. Developers respond quickly to concerns. I like that you can adjust the sleep sounds in the background.

Sound Asleep. Recommend this sleep story app to anyone who has problems falling asleep. The story books are an exceptional experience. Most of the narrators have soothing, calm voices and they gently lull you to sleep. Who needs celeb narrators?

Really Works. I love this app, it definitely helps me fall asleep. My favourites are the talking stories. I use to listen to talk back radio to go to sleep - not anymore. This app has so much to offer compared with other similar ones, highly recommended

Great App. This app is pretty good I just wish that there is more free casts. I like that I can download the casts and use them without internet. This is a great app and I recommended it for people who find it hard to go to sleep. It got me to sleep in around 10 minutes.

The app. This is the best app because you can pick your own sleep Journey

No customer service; app WAKES me up due to its faulty soundscape- DO NOT PURCHASE. I’ve contacted the developers more than I can count in the middle of the night when I’ve been woken. The app stutters as wakes me and I’ve received ONE response, shirking responsibility back to me. I bought a yearly subscription and just tried to get a refund without success!!!! These people are not worth your money. Go to Calm, where you can be guaranteed customer service and nothing like the hideous tech issues that occur here. You won’t be ignored. From a shift worker who is well aware of EVERY sleep app on the market. Thanks for nothing

Life changing. I was sceptical at first as I have never tried a sleeping app before, but Slumber changed my life and I fall asleep easily every night without prevail. I love this app!

Don’t get it. Downloaded this app and thought I was just trying it for 4 day free trial. Tried it for 1 night. Didn’t like it and deleted app. 4 days later iTunes account had $60 taken out for premium annual subscription which I had never agreed to. Ripped off.

No longer enjoying due to the changes. Hate the changed format. Very difficult to navigate and find Favourites. The artwork is too much when you are trying to wind down and relax! But mostly looking for the saved stories is now a problem and energy and time consuming. Bring back the old version. If it’s not broken- don’t fix it!

Sleep stories are fantastic!. I have been struggling with getting to sleep, over busy mind, & stressed to the max, tension through my whole body, and hours of wakefulness. I discovered this app, while looking into sleep meditations, & like magic, I’m getting to sleep quicker, am more relaxed, and I fall asleep still listening I am now trying some sleep meditations, my favourite at the moment is the rain one! Cheers Lee

Slumber. I love the way how when I need to go to sleep it always reminds me. There are so many different stories to listen to such a hard choose. My favourite story is the boy who ran away to the circus. Thank you people that created slumber

Saviour. Slumber has a wonderful variety of narrators and stories to ensure you drift off to sleep every time. Love it

I Kind of like it but nah I don’t 👎. I don’t like it because you have to pay and your actually telling people to pay it’s annoying for me and if it’s for you guys just say so plzz help us sleep much more better and plus all the stories I love is for people that pay so stop 🛑 please.

All kids are asleep!. Best app for helping kids drift off to sleep,(adults 2) meditations are great too

Exceptional. I have tried many sleep apps over the years, but none really worked. I just wanted something soothing, meditative, and elegant. I don’t want short audio loops, and no option for a narrator. Slumber is what I have waited for. I have only listened to the “floating in the river” guided sleep journey on Slumber, but it is magical, and works!

Slumber great sleep aid. Slumber is an easy to use collection of collections of pre recorded stories, meditation aids, soundtracks and effects to help you sleep. Highly recommended.

Slumber. Best App I have ever bought for Adults and Children alike. The Sleep Stories and Children’s Sleep Stories are without doubt the best. I sleep better than I have in 60 yrs and look forward to going to bed and having his hypnotic voice tell me a story while I drift off. My granddaughter wants to go to bed at night to hear about Malcom the rabbit, and the background music can be extended all night if you prefer.

Needs fixing. I really enjoy this app but a lot of the stories cut out halfway through and it drives me up the wall. I’m listening to Pride and Prejudice at the moment and the audio will just stop mid-sentence!

Love This. This app helps me sleep almost every night. I love it!

✨. I love this app so much, it helps me fall asleep on a school night especially when i wake up at 6:30 to get ready, only a few mins into the sleep tone and I’m dead asleep! But to be honest everything’s locked and I only get 10 dollars for chores, i recommend making some free as some people are not able to afford it and only get a few options to fall asleep too, I really want to listen to the other sounds in the sleep music but over all a great app

Wonderful !. My absolute favourite! I just wish I could afford this for a year! It helps myself & my 2 babies sleep feeling cosy & safe! Recommend this app to everyone !!

It's amazing. im 28 years old and one morning I woke up and heard the white cat story then I remembered I was listening to it last night

Love. I love this app. I rarely hear the end of any story. The background noise mixer continues for as long as I need. I have found the right mix to drown hubby snoring. It remembers what mix I like each night except music which I have to slide off EVERY single time. I’ve been a subscriber for months but there has been no new updates for four months. That is disappointing.

Annoying. Dan Jones and a host of others have such annoying voices. My goodness. Also, instead of telling a story, they tell you what not to do (think anxious thoughts). They go on and on about how to relax. So very annoying.

I’m sleeping!. This is an excellent app, and I have subscribed to it. There’s a good range to choose from with meditations, stories, and soundscapes. I especially like being able to have background music and soundscapes playing when listening to a meditation, with the option of them finishing a set time after the meditation. The music used is soothing rather than irritating. I am not only sleeping sooner, but am sleeping more deeply with far more pleasant dreams. Very happy!

Fantastic content but needs to improve technology. I love this app immensely and haven’t slept so well in years. Bethany sending me to sleep as she whispers Leaf in a Stream in my head is my most favourite thing in the world. However the technology is not great - sometimes I can’t download apps, and when I have, they don’t stay downloaded, I have to do that every single night. I paid good money for this app which I was happy to do as it sends me to seep beautifully when it’s working. I shouldn’t have to go to the lounge room to download every night or be reliant on streaming it nightly (I live remotely so my internet is dodgy best of times).

Not enough. Started off great but very limited titles . Already listened to all the stories only a few months a member Desperately needs some new content

I always fall asleep!. This is a great app and really helps me fall asleep. You have to be selective however as some voices, particularly Dan’s, are not soothing and in fact quite annoying.

Great app. It is a great app that allowed me to get to sleep In less then 10 min

You HAVE to try this 🤯🤯🤯. I tried this for a week thinking eh l’ll try this might not work but l’ll give it a go so l did OH MY GOD did it work. A week ago I ‘had’ sleeping problems. Now l sleep sound it definitely works but it NOW!!!!!

The French Whisperer is amazing. I have been using guided meditation and ASMR for a couple of years. I’m an anxious, fast thinker who is lucky enough to be around in a time of great headphones and great narrators. Two (?) months ago I found this app and it’s better than anything I’ve experienced in an app or on YT. It understands that focus for one person is not focus for another- so has a good range of ‘channels’ - bedtime stories, sounds (ASMR), audiobook etc. However, I am so appreciative of the History channel. Amazing. At first, I admit as an Australian, the accent seemed a bit... much. But this narrator is my favourite ever now. Please, give him more chapters. Dinosaurs is a perfectly crafted narrative and he’s brilliant at delivering it. Cave Art is also awesome for those on the free version. Give him 10 minutes and let the story mature. Hearing him deliver is a gift. I hope this channel grows. Meanwhile, loving the whole depth and breadth of this amazing app. Well done! Sean Maher.

Ye Ye pretty good but. I just wanted to say love this but I can’t afford premium can u add more books and change the people, who read there voice dose not help me sleep it is not soothingly so change that please thankyou it helps a lil

What about the kids?. Content is great for kids, worth the premium charge, but I subscribed from my Apple account and need to use my phone after kids bedtime. Please enable Family Sharing so I can share the subscription with my husbands account and use his phone for the kids at night

Sleep 💤. I am absolutely loving this app I don’t think I’ve managed to get passed 5 minutes before I’m completely out to it. Thank you 😊

Slumber. It’s so soothing and it helps me sleep every night like it’s one of the best apps I’ve ever used in my life!

Super helpful. Helps me get to sleep probably about 30+% faster. Annoying that you have to pay for it but it’s worth it

Very good for me to help me fall asleep. Love it

Great app!!!!. Love the app!! It has helps me relax after a stressful day. Best thing for anxiety .I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH I EVEN USE IT CAMPING

Awesome app. The app is great!

Works like a charm. Big selection of stories and sounds. I was surprised to find that the technique works so well. The best treatment for insomnia—and no drugs.

great app. this is a very good sleep app and the free ones are still very good so you don’t have to pay money for the premium i recommend this👍

Best app for sleep. I’ve been using Slumber for about a year, and find it so good at quieting my mind for sleep. I find prefer the long stories for sleep. The only thing I would suggest to improve the app is to allow stories to be played consecutively, so you could string several of the shorter stories together.

Iggexcj. BzfJfhd

I like it. I do really like this app. If you get premium it’s not expensive. If you choose to use the app for free you still get a lot of cool stuff. I would definitely recommend this app. - Harper

Thanks. Love this app .. great narrators and variety of stories. I especially like how you can set the background sound to what you want…ie crackling fire, birds , ocean, rain

Best ever. Best ever. The voices so soothing. Thank you

My review. It’s calming and all but if your going through depression or a state of sadness, I would go with music instead. >_<😖😓

:)it’s amazing ! I love this app. Worked like a charm the first try :) I’m doing it again in 5 min tonight !

Scam!. Do not download! They just charged me $50 for a one year subscription without my consent!!

Calming. Relaxing

Good night. The free and users friendly App

Lop. My

So amazing. I fall asleep so easily you maybe should add a few more stories like Alice in wonderland or interesting things for kids but overall love this app

Great 👍. A wonderful app to help you go to sleep

Best way to fall asleep. I love this app! They have an amazing library of stories, meditations, and sounds to lull me asleep. Their narrators are THE BEST! Shoutout to Abbe and Thomas xo

Amazing!. It’s so comforting, especially on a school night when you can’t sleep. Been using for 2 years and LOVE IT!!

Awesome sleep aid. The sound scapes are wonderful, but the stories do the trick for me. I often just make it past a few deep breaths and a couple lines of a story and I’m out like a baby. 😴

Best Bedtime Stories. This app, has settings to add different sounds effects (fireplace, rain, etc.) and the stories make you fall asleep almost instantly. Best app downloaded

StoryDrones are the best!. They are wonderful to help you fall asleep. TK Kellman, THOMAS Jones, Simon , Abbie Opher, The French Whisper, Chris Futon’s Aladdin are all terrific. My favorite narrator is Simon Mattacks, I hope there will be many more stories by him! Long time listeners like me are searching for more new Storydrones as I use Slumber every night!! Try it, you will love it!

Slumber. It helps me to relax

Amazing. So many different types of things to listen to, meditations, stories, asmr, nature noises and so much more! Always adding new! Highly reccomend.

Best sleep app. Never make it through one story before I fall asleep . Love the narrators soothing voices

Nice. I like this app. I wanted to love it but it's not exactly what I wanted out of a sleep app. All the voices are lovely. The white noise options are good. I wish I could delete the stories that definitely don't work for me. I have a hard time staying relaxed & I wish there was a meditation that focused more on relaxing each body part with the breathing. Even groups of muscles. The stories don't seem to work for me. I like the meditations better but they get a little weird sometimes with things like Echoing. That stuff just wakes me right back up.

Love it. Helps me fall asleep every night especially the magic of jack frost

Too slow. I find that all of the narrators speak way too slow.

Love this. This app has been helping me with getting to sleep! I use it just for the meditations and hypnosis.

Worst app ever. U have to Pay and there are boring sound effects or sounds, this app is boring and I deleted it after 4 mins straight away

Using for over a year. Incredible difference in my sleep and falling asleep process

Helps my child sleep on ADHD meds. Our son takes ADHD medication, after starting the slumber app he has slept through the night consistently when he normally wakes at 3am. It helps him fall and stay asleep. Very happy well rested mother!

Can’t sleep without it. I honestly couldn’t tell you how any of the stories end.. because I fall asleep within 15 minutes of them starting! I live by this app now and it’s helped my mental health A LOT! I highly recommend, and the premium is worth the yearly price! Highly highly recommended!

Best sleep story app. I am sleeping like a baby again, thanks to Slumber 🥱😴

decent!. omg.. when I first got this, I was confused why everything was money. I was SOO glad to find the free ones as I have no money to spend on this right now! it’s a life saver. I used to take 30-45 minutes to go to sleep.. usually I just wake up in the morning and realize I fell asleep mid audio.. it kept happening. With it, it takes 10 mins for me! Maybe 15-20 but still I’m still listening, learning and relaxing the whole experience.. I recommend the cafe and the cloud one! I use them every night!

Amazing. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The best thing that ever happened to my sleep!

Awesome app. It’s an amazing app! Helps me fall asleep in between sessions at a swim meet. It’s great for those nights when you just can’t fall asleep and are to restless or have to much on your mind. I think they could improve the download ability because after a couple night of one being downloaded, it un-downloads. Not sure why. Would definitely recommend though (especially Venetian lagoon :)!

Life saver!. This app has changed my life.

Abbe Opher .!!! The BEST ❤️. The voice that lulls you to dreamland.

Not a bad apps. Great free some of the pass just enough for me

I'll be back. I deleted my little rant about a billing issue elsewhere; seems to be resolving. I'll check back here for when we can change the narrator's speed to 1.2X I love the stories, background effects, etc. I just prefer them to sound a little caffeinated. ;)

Really Works, A Keeper. I started with Insight Timer which I still love and use. I tried Calm and it’s good… but what really sets Slumber apart is the ability to add, remove and customize the background effects. I love that I can add rustling leaves to a story on a cool Autumn night, beach waves in the summer, crickets in the evening… just about any sound and gentle music can be adjusted and controlled to suit your feeling or mood. This one is a keeper!

Awesome sleep stories. Has tons of great sleep stories, good narrators, and you can customize the background noise as you listen. The stories really help me relax and get sleepy before bed. If you like The Honest Guys (YouTube) sleep stories or Headspace sleepscapes, you’ll probably like the stories on this app.

Good. Better then some other bedtime apps and has more free storeys but, a lot are still money.Still better then pther apps I have tried and helps me fall asleep.

Updated my comments. Would be nice to be able to put together two or three different selections “Of My Choosing” together , and then be able to alter whenever I want. The developer was very quick to respond.

Decent. Downloaded for sleep stories and meditation. Sounds noises available are great too. Seems to be a lot of novels just turned into audio books. Or a description of nature/specific place (which may appeal to some of course!) They’re good stories I suppose but would be nice to have other stories such as fantasy/fiction that haven’t been pre written and/or already published by an author - or ones that don’t focus mainly on the location within the story rather than any sort of plot and include both of those aspects (these seem to be one’s written by someone employed for this company/app). Most stories I’ve listened to are either pre written/pre published by a different author, or about some type of journey through a location - with not a lot of plot involves and more descriptions of scenery (which if you prefer that personally and that’s great for you), but with the stories made from the app writer personally I find them way too focused on describing scenery so deeply rather than including that description but intertwined an actual plot as well. Meditations are nice, I have enjoyed them. Lots to choose from. Little to offer without a subscription - app is pretty much useless without being subscribed. And $53/a year can be a lot for individuals who are suffering with sleep/insomnia and wish for a sleep aid. I understand the need for subscriptions, but the price although lower than some other apps can limit a users ability to enjoy and properly use this app - or even have access to it at all.

Very relaxing. Best relaxing sounds to sleep or meditate

Thomas Jones. I can’t begin to explain how much this app has helped me! Listening to the stories cancels out my racing thoughts I can fall asleep and go BACK to sleep after waking up during the night. It’s honestly been a life changer. I used another sleep app before but it was expensive and not near as many stories as Slumber. My only complaint…please give Thomas Jones a break. I like him and listen to many of his stories but I randomly click on a story and 3 out of 5 times it’s him. When I started it was a Dan Jones show, now Thomas has 100 more than him! Anyway, thanks for the sleeps!

Sleepless nights!. I found this App by happen stance one day listening to a day time talk show. I think it was Rachael Rae. Anyway, I looked up the App and downloaded it. I have used it many nights over the past Spring/Summer to help me sleep. I have a brain that does not shut down at night, this app gives my brain a rest from thinking. Some nights it may take listening to it twice but, it works. You ask, “Why twice”? Because some nights my over active brain kicks in the minute the app stops and my brain kicks in again. I simply replay and fall into a deeper sleep before it is over. I really do get a deeper sleep after listening and relaxing my brain with this app. Thank you so much! ~D.T. In Florida~

It Actually Works!. Please many more HISTORY stories: they are long-playing and they work like a charm! The Egypt recording is the high point of the app! May I suggest Howard Carter? It’s intelligent enough to hold your interest so you quit worrying but that can still lull you to sleep. Please put a search feature as there are a lot of entries and I just love 💕 the male voices, they're deeper. I place stories for more than one turn. Then I keep playing soothing sounds. Your selection. You can turn down the music or turn it off all together. I just learned an invaluable iDevice trick. You can turn off whatever, audio or visual, if you set your timer to whatever exact given time. You hit the last playing option on the very bottom to "not playing", I believe. So it will work with Slumber or Netflix. I enjoy the recordings of the kitties on Slumber! Slumber doesn’t always work but it will DEFINITELY cut down on those precious sleepless hours you’ve been cheated out of! Just go for it!

WHY ARE YOU SO GREEDY!?!?. Once I ran out of FREE stories I had to listen to the same one over and over again! I think you should have MORE free ones! Think of some people that can barely sleep at night thinking of house bills because they don’t have much money, they would need something like this but, since you care more about MONEY than poor people wishing for a miracle to come and help them 1. Fall asleep 2. Have children go to school instead of homeschool 3. Afford to have a house bigger than a shed. Now do you understand, people who made this app? Some people can’t afford a house, and can’t sleep thinking tomorrow they might have to give it up! And YOU would have them die if you got MONEY!!! Do you get my point?!?!?! My point is you should be less GREEDY and let EVERYONE have ALL the stories, sleep medication, sound scapes, all that stuff. What I want to say now is... PLEASE!!!!!!

Has changed how I sleep. Slumber is such a great app and has helped me sleep for two years now! It has a lot of variety from just white noise all the way to multi part sleep sagas or even audio books broken up into parts so you don’t have to keep track of where you left off when you fell asleep. I love how specific the library is and that you can even find all the stories by specific narrators! I couldn’t recommend this app enough, way better than some of the other apps I’ve tried to help me sleep. I even got my fiancé listening every night!

It’s a love hate relationship. Ok so I love using this app because it really does help me fall asleep. My daughter is obsessed with the stories during her nap times, they have really helped her sleep. The downside to this app is the fact that if you don’t buy the premium version then you only get two stories and two sounds. It is really upsetting that it shows a ton of different sounds in the App Store and does not even mention a premium version. I feel like they should give you at least a few more options when you don’t have premium. I am a lifelong insomniac and have always had trouble sleeping, this app was really helping but I have run out of stories and sounds. I just might have to go back to staying awake the whole night.

Just amazing. The atmosphere of the app is so relaxing and it really helps out getting you comfortable. I cannot finish the story, because I sleep before it’s half done! Just amazing, and Dan Jones’ voice is so soothing.I just love it. It’s like your father is telling you a bedtime story even though you’re 20 years old! The background effects are impressive too. I like the crackling sound of the fire place, the sound of ocean waves crashing on the shore, the rustling leaves, and the river. They are just so fitting! Also. The narrating is great. Nice sleepy stories, the app doesn’t force you to upgrade, and there are these weekly free stories that you can listen to without the upgrade. The developers of the app just want happy sleeping users. ;)

Great Variety of Stories. I have a special needs child who has difficulty falling asleep. Slumber has changed all that, and there is less ‘drama’ at bedtime, due to the variety of stories and how well the stories are presented. New stories are added on a regular basis, so we don’t have to keep cycling through the same ones. One thing I’d like to see added is a way to know which new stories were recently added, such as a counter showing how many times the given story was selected / played, by the individual user. This would also help determine which stories may be favorites or less favorite. Ordering options by most frequently played vs least played would be very helpful.

Very helpful. I have had this app for several years now to help me sleep and I mostly love it. The large choice of sleep meditations, stories and soundscapes cover most of my sleep assistance needs. I LOVE the custom controls over the background sounds. — Two improvements I would suggest: 1) a more ethnically diverse offering of narrators (no black voices, you folks need to change this now) 2) I would like more control over the music associated with the narrative. I LOVE the piano music but often find the track I choose has a synth drone and I cannot change it. Overall, it is an excellent app.

Helps toddlers stay in bed & fall asleep. After we read books, we put on Friendly Dog for our daughters (4 & 2) to listen while they fall asleep. It encourages them to stay in bed, all parents know s struggle. We tell them they can come out of their room if they are still awake when friendly dog ends (we set it to loop 2x 🤫) but 95% of the time they fall asleep before it ends. When I had issues with the app one night, in desperation I pinged their support center and their team helped me sort it out immediately so we could have a peaceful bedtime. Brilliant service!

The best for sleep.. I have delayed sleep phase disorder and general anxiety, so it’s very difficult for me to fall asleep. I have tried many apps, but Slumber is by far the absolute best. The narrators have melodic, soothing voices. The stories are interesting enough that my mind doesn’t wander, but calming enough that I always fall asleep by the end. I love the background sounds, especially the crackling fire. I use this app almost every night. Without it, it would take me hours to fall asleep. It is completely worth the subscription price considering how often I use it. Thank you for helping me sleep better!

Superb. Best app I’ve ever spent money on. This is just a fantastic gem of an app. Very different and what a great idea. So many places to explore and I bet the endings to all my favorites are great, if I could just stay awake to hear them. Seriously perfect. After so many years of insomnia, buying and downloading sleep, meditation or “zen” game apps, this is the one! You can do meditation or listen to gray/white noise, BUT the absolute best are these trance like stories. The voices are so calming, the stories are just really cool. I’m so so so happy with this little find. Gosh! What a great idea, I can’t get over it! Thanks so much for all the hard work. I do tend to get over excited when I see a new “scape” pop in, at least once a week, but as soon as I lie still and listen I calm down with a smile on my brain and fall asleep. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Thank you!!! P.S Guy complaining about lack of content, there are loads of stories. Ive had this app for 3 months and still haven’t gotten through them all. Are you sure you have downloaded the new version?

It’s been more than 2 years🥰. I remember searching for a sleep/meditation app I tried so many and Slumber was the last one I tried; I did the 1 month free trial and I haven’t been to another app since. The membership is so worth it! The stories are great and the narrators make it even better 😇Background noise? No background noise? It’s your choice when you use Slumber and I love the fact that you can choose any and every background noise that you want to play at the same time and you can control how loud each background sound is. You won’t regret this, trust! 😌

Falling asleep SO fast!. I fell asleep in 1 minute until my dog woke me up. now I can sleep without taking like 10 minutes to fall asleep. I really like this app and people who want to get this app they should! it solves all your problems. When you download this app you can just go to any of the sounds, stories and more down bellow when you open the app. It is a really peaceful app and I tried all the games that are supposed to be peaceful they really don’t work they just make me more stressed because I keep on failing them and I get SUPER Annoyed. So if your new to the app YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GET THE APP... if you have problems sleeping... anyway I still think you should get the app even if you don’t have problems.

Awesome!! (Read this!!). I have been using Slumber for a while now, and I really enjoy it! Of course like with every app there are some ups and downs, but I feel like this one doesn’t have as much low parts, which is great! Something that I love about Slumber, is how the have a WHOLE row of just free ones, which I personally LOVE because, don’t judge, but, I really NEVER pay for like apps, so I just stick to what they have for free, so it really suits me! Like I said, it does have some downs, such as how it is not really user friendly! I mean like it’s good, but you can’t really like change your profile picture or anything, and doesn’t have a space for just like all of your recents. Hope your found got this m who pub him helpful!

Would love to listen to more content before committing but.... There is a section within this app labeled “free this week” that’s misleading because after almost 5 weeks the selection has yet to change. I’m not going to commit to this app if I can’t be assured there is something for me behind the doors of premium membership. There’s a long list of stories that were once free, so I know the developers can rotate stories. The same free stories are available that were there when I first got the app. I’m not a fan of most of them, so there’s no motivation to subscribe. How about you offer potential subscribers a variety of ever changing content? If not change that misleading section label to something more appropriate like, “free this quarter”? My money is too hard to earn to be risking it on an app that isn’t interested in truly showcasing what it has to offer.

Impressive. I've been experiencing symptoms of a sleeping disorder that have been debilitating for the last six months and medication or OTC sleeping aids are simply a bandaid. I came to the realization that My sleeping issues needed more than a temporary fix when my job was put on the line. My first experience with Slumber was successful, but the next night was ineffective. Well actually I came to the conclusion that I was the one not doing my part in creating an ideal sleeping environment, as well as too much staring at my iPhone before bed. When I set myself up for a proper night sleep I have so much more success with Slumber than anything else I have tried.

Best sleep app count on it. I love love love this app. I have had the worst sleep patterns for 5 years, and I never usually buy apps. But I paid the extra few bucks for the premium upgrade one time and I get to listen to any of the playlists unlimited and they update new ones all the time. The opportunities are endless and I have found at least 10 of them that help me fall asleep. From listening to soothing voices to just plain sounds, this app is too good. Like I wake up and the app is asking me if that certain clip helped me fall asleep and I don’t even remember falling asleep... it’s that good. This app will surprise you, it’s the best sound machine you could get. Give it a shot

Only App I ever bought! Worth it !!!. I literally use this app every night. I purchased it after the trail period because just had to keep listening. There are so many categories and different accents, voices to listen to, you will never have to listen to the same thing twice... you will have your favorites and go back to them often. Has totally helped me shut down at night instead of anxiety taking over and just replaying the day in my mind. I’ve certainly used this enough to not feel bad about paying for an app. It really is great and I generally can’t stand “ meditation “ type stuff... this puts it on a different level.

JUST BUY IT! BEST OUT THERE!. I have been in love with this app for quite awhile now and have a hard time sleeping without it. I have tried every single app out there and nothing is like this one! It calms my anxiety and puts me into a different world, it is worth the price! I have listened to everything on this app, I love when new ones come out so I can test them, the only thing that is new that I do not like is the French whisperer. I wish there was a way to select a person to read the story to you, mine would always be Dan Jones, his voice soothes my soul. My favorite story is “down in the submarine”, I know every word of the first 15 minutes, it always puts me to sleep, I have never heard the ending. This app is worth every penny!

Best app ever no joke!. Slumber helps me relax when I am in bed and you don’t even have to have your phone on you can turn it off and slumber will still play its amazing stories! I love the nature sounds and the best part is that you can customize the background sounds to you liking! The voices are soothing and relaxing and they make me so tired and it’s makes my body calm down and loosen up. This is the best app ever for sleeping and before I had this app I trouble falling to sleep on my own but now that I have slumber I can fall asleep in less than 5 minutes!!! In my opinion I think this game is phenomenal!!! Phew 😅

I fall asleep so fast now!. I repeatedly listen to the 4 history and 1 new nature narrations by The French Whisperer. Not sure why that dude’s readings put me right to sleep, even though what he’s reading is actually interesting and I normally wouldn’t say a French accent is exactly my favorite. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I restart it and am back asleep so quickly. It’d be nice to have a bunch more read by that guy, but for now it doesn’t matter that much because those are all so long, and in the dozens of times I’ve listened to each I’ve never stayed awake enough to hear the whole thing of any of them. Listen to those and say goodbye to sleep troubles.

The BEST for falling asleep fast. Since I found this app, I have used it every night. I am always able to fall asleep and stay asleep. For my sleeping experience, I listen to Dream Stories and there are many of those that are my favorites. Thank you is not strong enough to tell the app makers. I highly recommend you try this app and do one upgrade so the variety will give you a wonderful, sound asleep experience. Only my husband knew how badly I needed this app and how it has solved my insomnia 100 percent. I’m writing this review in hopes of helping anyone else experience the peace and serenity I have now while sleeping.

It WORKS but needs more free options. I’ve been using this app to fight my insomnia for the last week now and have really enjoyed it and have had a few GOOD results. My only problem is that it provides 2 or 3 free Sounscapes, Sleep Stories, & Sleep meditations. I’ve already listened through them all within a week of using the app and am not completely certain if the app works yet, I feel the public needs a larger selection of free sounds, and if they are happy with the results I’m sure they’ll be more willing to pay for the other sounds cause I would if I was certain it works.

Excellent, but add more history!. I want to start this review by saying this app works wonders at helping me fall asleep, more so than any other white noise generator I’ve used in the past. I often would still be awake after the hour or so run time of those, but that is much less frequent now. I’ve been using Slumber for two weeks now, and I’m glad to have signed up for the year of it. As a result, I’ve given it 5 stars, even though it’s not 100% perfect. It does what I need it to do. However, it could be even better. I personally do not like the stories; the first one I listened to seemed almost patronizing to me, and it irritated me so much I couldn’t fall asleep. The history tracks, on the other hand, are fantastic! I can comfortably fall asleep as I’m learning about a wide variety of things, with the French Whisperer being a standout. Sadly there are WAY more stories than history episodes, and I think that’s a shame. If I could make one recommendation to make Slumber perfect, it’d be “find more people who make history episodes like the French guy”! I’m begging you!

Amazing. I been able to sleep now that I been using slumber but on the nights that the regular stories I use don’t work and I am still up for hours not being able to sleep (and I feel like I’m not the only one) I think there should be a section of sounds and stories for those kind of nights. Like for example a story about racing or about fishing to help keep parts of the mind at ease that are hard to stop from racing. Also a little bug I think slumber hasn’t been tracking the sessions I do it only says I’ve done 11 when I’ve done way over 60 by now.

Greatly improved. I started using Calm a few years ago then I bought Slumber just to give me more choices but was very disappointed. There were only a few narrators and the content was awful. I ignored it for a year and cancelled the subscription . Recently I opened it and it’s like a totally different app. Many narrators, organized differently and the content mirrors more of what Calm had been doing. I’m turning to it every night even more than to Calm. Calm is still great though with lots of new content. Keep up the good work Slumber. Maybe the two companies merged? Anyway i.m like a kid in a candy store now w so many more Slumber options.

Amazing for Everyone!. I have been using Slumber every night for about a year now and it has been the only thing to help me turn my mind off at night and actually get some sleep. The last few months I have been using it to help my foster kids get to sleep for nap and bedtime and 9/10 times they are asleep within 20 minutes and laying down calmly in about 5. It's been the only thing that has helped some of the kiddos calm down, let alone fall asleep, after trying other, more common, methods (I.e. warm milk, singing, rocking, etc). I use it every night for them and myself and we all get a good night's sleep now. This app has truly been a blessing for our family.

My Go-To. Thank you for making great improvements. I’m sure it’s not easy fixing bugs to constantly stay ahead, but appreciate all you do to help me sleep! Love the stories and meditation and ability to select background ambiance, whether nature or music. The story tellers are all wonderful to fall asleep to. I only wish we could choose the background music. There is one particular background music track that for whatever reason, is sad and frightening. I don’t know how or if it can be changed. Keep the great stories coming. 🙂

Good 😴. It’s a great app I love to listen to some of the very relaxing stories it’s very helpful to chill you out before you fall asleep the only one thing I would change is maybe add a few more free things to listen to but it’s totally fine if you don’t because there are a few really nice ones that are free so either way its a great app and I totally recommend especially if you have trouble falling asleep especially if it’s your thoughts that are keeping you up because this gives you something to think about and it’s relaxing so yeah I recommend. and to the makers of the game: thank you for such an awesome and good app. Alright bye

Awesome sleep app, FREE section is plenty. I've been using this app without a subscription for months and I LOVE it. I can only listen to the free stories/sounds, which rotate every once in a while. There are so many types of sleep stories to choose from. They vary from adventures, to travel, to boring stuff like bird migration (honestly my fave) and different voices tell each story. You can add background noises such as a calming music, running river, crickets chirping, fire crackling, a ceiling fan, and a few others. It gets even cooler because you can adjust the volume of each sound individually! For example, I like my sleep story to have low music, fire crackling and river flowing in the background. You can set the story to play once, repeat twice, or infinity times. I like to set it for 2x just in case it takes me a while to fall asleep. The app also has an optional bedtime reminder notification. Definitely no need for subscription (use the FREE stories!) although I may invest in a subscription considering I use the app every night for bed.

Do you have problems falling or staying asleep??. This is by far the best app in my phone! I've suffered from insomnia since adolescence and this is literally the best sleep aid I've found! It helps me fall asleep stay asleep and keep the racing thoughts at bay! My biggest problem had been controlling those thoughts that come in the late hours and keep you from sleeping. I haven't slept this good in 25 years! I would even recommend the full version even though the price seems steep, it already has been worth every penny to me. And I don't usually spend money on apps, But absolutely if I could I would give this app ten stars!

It’s also a podcast. I hate to ding this app. I love Abbe and Thomas and Nadine and all the British storytellers. I almost always fall asleep to the stories within 15 minutes or so. The trick is to try to stay awake, and you’ll fall asleep. It it turns out, however, that there’s also a podcast that has almost all the same stuff, and more, at least the stories. So I feel kind of silly having paid for this. I don’t really need the soothing music as there are hundreds of those on streaming services. The podcast is called get sleepy. It’s free, and stories go on there before they hit here. Watch, I bet Mythology of the Moon by Abbe Offer will be next in line on this paid app. I already listened to it for free though.

Best Sleep Aid I’ve Used. I’m the kind of person who tosses and turns, thinking and stressing about what happened today or my to-do list tomorrow. And as someone with a brain disorder that requires I get an adequate amount of sleep, this app is great. I had tried medication, but those made me feel groggy. I then tried teas & other apps, but those weren’t working until I came across Slumber. With it’s wide options in background noises and the ability to make the sleeper focus on one thing through the bedtime story option for those ‘to-do listers’ like myself, it is perfect. Every time I go to bed thinking I don’t need it, I end up still having to use it to fall asleep. So thank you.

Fantastic app!!. I tried a number of these sleep apps, and Slumber is by far the best! This app is truly amazing at helping me relax and fall asleep. I love the variety of modalities (sleep stories, meditations, soundscapes, etc.) as well as the variety of narrators available to choose from. They also continue to add to their library of great content. I love to keep exploring new selections while always being able to revisit old favorites. I never thought I'd say this about an app, but this one has become an important part of my getting enough sleep, especially when I'm feeling stressed. Thank you for Slumber!

LOVE IT !!. I am 60 years old and have struggled with sleep issues for 15 years. I have tried MANY different things, from sleeping pills to Yoga, with very little success. I have tried to stay “in tune “ with my body, weeding out the negative things, like the sleeping pills (used for 6 years), switching to better alternatives like Zoloft in the morning & CBD oil at night which helped tremendously BUT I still had difficulty “turning off” my brain at night to go to sleep UNTIL I FOUND THIS APP. The sleep stories are wonderful !! I LOVE the soothing voice and all the sounds in the background. I feel my body instantly relaxing and drifting off to sleep. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SLUMBER !!

Amazing😍😍😍. This app amazing it made me have the best sleep ever! You should totally try it! OMG I can’t wait to do mine tonight and if you don’t like it you are weird but like I had the best day today because I had the best sleep last night and oh geez five stars all the way again I had the best sleep totally totally totally totally totally try it you will not regret single thing I’m just saying try it if you don’t like it then you’re not related to me I’m not saying you are but like it’s the best sleep ever and try it I’m begging you to try it doesn’t cost any money except for the premium😻😻😻😻😻😻 I don’t even have premium

Fraud. I strongly encourage you to look into other way better apps with frequent ongoing updates, more content offered, and more support and customer oriented such as Headspace, Calm, or Breethe. ONE MONTH in after receiving a reply from the developer who promised the “restore purchase” button would be fixed by the end of the week. That’s been over a month ago and still nothing. Don’t purchase and boycott a developer who is only interested in getting your hard earned money and provide you with no service. I purchased the most expensive plan for lifetime subscription with a whopping $300 about 1.5 yrs ago and now the restore purchase button won’t work. I pressed the button and rebooted the phone still nothing. No way I’m going to purchase again. Let’s see if I can pursue these folks now. I have now contacted my CC company for a chargeback.

Slumber rocks!. Slumber has helped me fall asleep every day for the past week, faster than usual, I went from falling asleep at three AM and waking up at eight thirty in the morning all the way to going to bed at eight and wake if up at six in just a couple days, the app gives you a buffet of episodes about all sorts of relaxing stories, and if you don’t like stories? Well they’ve got you covered! They have meditation and self reflection and more, if you think that they can’t find your kind of sleeping aid you are wrong, because I have tried countless times to find a sleeping aid, or just something that helps me relax and Slumber is the only one that worked.

Not enough new stories for kids. This app is awesome I love that it has stories, meditations, and other formats of relaxation sounds in general. I love that you can add background sounds when listening to a story/meditation and customize each story. My 7 year old and I use it every night. My only complaint is that the kids stories are not updated very often. Also the kids stories are usually pretty short compared to the adults. So I have to go into the adult section and pick a story with the same narrator as the kids stories in order for it to play long enough for my son to fall asleep. Adults and children have issues falling asleep. Wish they would fix the issues and value kids as much as adults.

Love this app. It has saved my sanity.. My husband has a neuromuscular disease and I am his only caregiver. This app has saved me by not allowing my mind to run off and make me more stressed at night. It happens often that i don’t even finish the tracks before falling into a restful sleep. My favorites are the stories that always have a gentle ending, taking me out of my head to a place I hope to get back to someday. Thank you creators of Slumber. I love that you are extremely available to correct app issues when the arise. I will continue to follow you.

Love this app!. I listen to this app almost every night. My husband snores so I got me some sleep ear buds. I prefer this app to the other ones because I can hear stories along with different sounds. The sounds and music throughout the night help drown out the snoring beside me. I also like the meditations. I wish there were a few more that went over 40 minutes. I don’t care for Alice In Wonderland movies but really enjoy the 4 hr story. Would like more long stories. The one describing the planets is one of my defaults as well. I also wish the history ones weren’t always the French whisperer guy. His voice is a bit creepy at first but I’ve gotten used to it.

Best app to help me sleep. love the fact that we get different sleep stories added consistently based on the time of year . They have a cadre of narrators to chose from and also the ability to select male or female narrators- there are plenty of choices. I like Thomas, Dan Jones and Tk Kellerman along with Elizabeth Grace as i find she is one of the few female voices i can listen and fall asleep to ( others the pitch or tone doesnt work for me) There are also great meditations such as yoga nidra for sleep and affirmations! Another nice feature i enjoy with Slumber is that i can see the different stories at night without needing to put on my glasses! Good work on the usability! Other apps haven’t figured that out!

Puts me to sleep every time!. I have had issues falling asleep for years. Then I found this. Guys, yes, it does cost. It’s like what, $40 for a year? That’s cheap for what you get. These are people who have been doing stuff like this for a while. Dan Jones can be found online. Professional as well with sleep hypnosis. The stories are very well written and thought out to put your mind in a blank space of total relaxation. I’ve been so impressed with this app, had it for a year and a half now, and hope to have it for years to come. Only request: Please have Dan Jones record more episodes!

Incredible. At first I thought this app was a little pricey for what I was getting, so I just went ahead and tried the free trial, and I was not disappointed. I have used slumber every night and it has worked every single time! I think some of the voices are a little weird sometimes, but I was able to look over that really quickly. The sleep stories is what caught me first, as I was looking for something to tell me a bedtime story, but this app offers way more than just stories… music, ASMR, nature sounds white noise… So whatever you’re looking for to help you sleep this app has it, try it out for yourself you won’t be disappointed!

Best App Ever!. I can’t say how much I have been enjoying this app. I want to listen to every single story, soundscape, meditation; I have loved everything that I have listened to so far and I’m only 2 days in! I was going to pay the $40 for the years subscription but I decided that I liked it sooo much that it was worth it to me to purchase the lifetime membership for $250. I plan to use this app pretty much everyday for the rest of my life. And I don’t only use it for sleep, I listen to the soundscapes during the day and the more in depth stories too. Awesome app, I can’t recommend it enough. 💜

Nothing has worked for me except this app!. I have always been a major night owl and I’ve tried literally everything to get to sleep faster when I decide to shut down. But nothing ever worked for me and I swore up and down it was just impossible to calm my mind down to sleep faster than an hour to two hours of trying! THIS APP....FIXED IT. Seriously fell asleep in five minutes, plus there’s plenty of access to things without a premium subscription! Love it!! And I’ve never heard the end of the stories 😂 that’s how fast I’m out.

Better than calm. Has helped me fall asleep, highly recommend. Calm has lots of different things, whereas slumber focuses more on just sleep stories - a relaxing narrator telling a relaxing story. These are not only fiction “stories” - my favorite are the science or history based ones - for example, teaching you about prehistoric structures. My favorite narrators are “the French whisperer” and Abbe Opher. My only concern is that I am moving through them faster than new ones are being added - particularly non-fiction. We will see if I’m still using in a few months or if I’ve gone through all the non-fiction.

Worth the money!! I would love a “random” option.. My husband and I have been using this app pretty consistently for the past year, and I recommend it to anyone that has trouble sleeping. We prefer the StoryDrone and Dream Stories playlists, and I would love to be able to just press random at the top of a playlist for how we use it. I love the history topics, but I find it difficult to understand his accent occasionally which keeps my brain active trying to understand. Really the only category we don’t use is soundscapes, it’s just not our style. I only offer these critiques/ideas because I love it, and I see myself using this app for years to come.

Single Mom SLEEPS!. As a single mother to a toddler, who also owns and runs a business from home, you would think bedtime would put me right to sleep. But once bedtime rolls around for the little one, and it’s quiet, my mind races. I toss and turn all night. This app popped up in an ad and I thought it was so silly, but I thought why not let’s give it a try. I dozed off before the Deep Dive story was even done. Instead of thinking about bills, customers, next days errands as I lie down, I was painting the picture in my head of a boat, ocean, moon light and then next thing I know, it was time to wake up in the morning. Love love this app!
