App is very good but two suggestions from a Senior Citizen. Overall I gave the app 5 stars but as a user and retired software developer I have a two ‘user based’ suggestions. 1. Instead of showing history by specific month, base display on last 15 days so users can easily see continuous progress’s with out switching month. For example, this morning (Nov 1st) the display opened showing November and I had to switch back and forth to see how my numbers were progressing. Since I check each of the history item every day, it is not very user friendly. From a user point of view, this is unnecessary clicks and makes it some what harder to see true recent progress. Old people like me are not going to appreciate this added complexity. 2. I can not find anywhere in the app that shows pressure reading from the nightly process. I have to go back to my machine to verify pressure readings. I have a Airsense 11.

Longtime user. My CPAP is supplied to me through the VA, so I don’t have much leeway’s in what I get. My current machine is an Airsense 10 Respond, which I’ve now had for several years. Overall, I’m satisfied with the machine. The MyAir app leaves much to be desired. First and foremost is the lack of integration of the data with other health apps, such as Apple Health (and back when I was using it, Google Fit.) There is also the regular delay in transmission of daily data, as others have noted. Knowing what my current and historic settings (pressure, etc.) are would be helpful as well. My headgear is the Swift FX or Her, using the XS nasal pillows, which are still slightly too large for my tiny nose, but so much better than the ones I was initially sent. My only issue with the headgear is that even when adjusted properly for fit, during a restless night, it will work its way off, resulting in lower sleep score due to loss of seal.

Glad there’s an app. Some things need fixed.. First off, I’m glad there’s an app. It’s one of the reasons I chose ResMed over other CPAP machines. That said, there are a couple of things that need fixed. Syncing: the app doesn’t show data for a very long time (hours). I have a bad data connection where I live. Since the machine connects via Bluetooth, why do I have to wait to see results? Why can’t they sync to my phone directly? Or even better, why not give future versions of the hardware Wi-Fi? Apple health: it would be great if I could see my data in apple health. At the very least it could contribute time in bed and time asleep data. Adjust machine settings in the app: since the machine and app are connected via Bluetooth, it’d be great if I could edit the machine settings on my phone. This would be a huge win as the little touchscreen on the device isn’t great. It’d also be good for customers with accessibility needs.

Worked great, then didn’t!. This app is making me wish for my other machine. My score and all data has been available since I started using my ResMed. For the past two days, my data and score disappeared. I have not moved my machine from its original location and my internet connection remains strong. Each time I try to access the data, it says “the MyAir app experienced a problem”. The worst part of this experience is that I can’t contact them through the app, because it doesn’t work, or by email because they only sent me no reply emails. When I tried to check for what was going wrong, I noticed that my personal information had been wiped clean. My first and last name positions were highlighted in red, with the word “required”. When I attempted to update this information, the entire app froze, and I had to shut it down. The only other option is to call by telephone and that to seems like a bloody waste of my time.

App is really good! Does what it is intended to do.. Although I have been a CPAP user for about 10 years, I never could get good feedback on my sleep. Even taking the card to my doctor I would get a “doing great”. I have recently updated my machine from a S9 to the newest 11 machine. I have been very impressed by the info I get in the app. It is easy to set up and easy to use. I generally will download my data before I am out of the bed. I have not had any download issues. One thing I would request that the developers to consider is having a “comment box” in the app that I could enter reasons for not having a good score. I had a 65 last week and it was because I just could not sleep. So i got up at 4:30 am and was short on sleep hours. (I have insomnia as well) Being able to enter that would help in a personal evaluation. Users could document issues with their mask and other things. Not a long box, just enough to remember why the score was low. And not the ability to modify your data. Thanks in advance for that consideration.

Doesn’t agree with readings in the AirSense11. I switched to using an AirSense11 mainly to have feedback on how well my therapy was working. Although I have only used the AirSense 11 for two days, it seems the machine is working gray and the displays on the machine provide me the feedback I wanted. However, this app is another story. While the user interface and ease of use is great, the data doesn’t match what the machine displays: for example, the AirSense says I used the machine for a little over 3 hours last night, but the app shows only 1:48 hours. The machine and the phone are close to each other at night, so it shouldn’t be a matter of the Bluetooth connection. The available help in ResMed’s site is not much help in addressing this. At the end of the day, the therapy is what is important and in this, the AirSense 11 seems to be great. Unfortunately, it’s value is diminished when the info in the app that is supposed to give you feedback does not match the machine or reality.

Having a blast with the app. I am 70 years old and was recently retested and still have a slight trace of sleep apnea. I decided to go ahead and was directed to purchase the ResMed AirSense 10... I was curious about the advertisement of your app so I downloaded it and was glad that I did. It is interesting to follow the progress of everything but it would be nice to have a space for notes if there is a discrepancy with the data and actual time involved. As an example last night was the fourth recorded night and my highest score (98) with almost the longest sleep time. Although, now that I think about it, I may have thrown things off because I didn’t turn off the AirSense 10 right away. I was too excited trying to text an email to my doctor about what just happened so I texted him an email that took hours to do. For the first time since around 1980 I had a full fledged nightmare that I could remember for at least a few seconds, thanks to the CPAP for jogging my rem sleep and this software for recording the event. I know that there are separate word processors but it would be nice to have space on this app to leave explanations for sleep periods, as in this case. Thanks for such a wonderful app!

Not a fan of the mask, but I prefer living!. Started the CPAP January 10. Took a while to become accustomed to different masks 😩. I still despise the CPAP 2+ months later, but I actually do sleep better, once I’m asleep. Finally I’m using the nose mask, which I like the best. I normally don’t sleep more than 5-6 hours so I didn’t like that 70% of your score is based on the hours of sleep, and that 5% is the eph 🧐. I thought the eph was the most important part of the sleep. That’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars. In the morning I look at the eph to see how well I slept and to know that I’m still living 😀. During my sleep test (only one) they said I had 60 eph and now with the CPAP & mask I’m averaging 2-9 eph. The app is easy to use and I’m glad the stats are also sent to the sleep doctors.

Reviewing the app-not the CPAP. TL;DR: The app has limited usefulness if it doesn’t reliably connect to your home wifi. My experience: Every other wireless device in my house works except this ResMed Airsense 11. I even bought a wifi extender for my bedroom, which I otherwise would not need. It does not improve connectivity performance for reporting data for trending history (pretty much the only usefulness this app would have, right?). The support for this issue is: move the machine around to find the best wifi coverage. That’s not helpful if you would have to move your bed and nightstand, change rooms, or-I guess-find a 200-foot extension cord and a 200-foot mask hose to hook up the device in a “better” location? Mind you, I was intermittently able to get 2 bars to show up on the screen for 9 days, so I know it’s possible. I’m not saying “don’t waste your time” with this app, but don’t be surprised or disappointed if you don’t get the convenience promised in the marketing for your CPAP machine.

Great App - One Request for an Upgrade. I’ve been using this app for 18-24 months or so. In terms of information output, it gives me exactly what I’m looking for, so Kudos to the makers for keeping it simple and direct! There’s one feature, however, that I suggest needs an overhaul: getting from one date to another when wanting to review the past days one at a time. Presently you can select a date and review it; but when you want to check another date you have to hit “back”, scroll to the date you want to look at, open it; then repeat for any other date you want to see. In a Swipe culture, we need the opportunity to swipe to another date. We also need the “home” of the list of dates to land back at the last date I reviewed, rather than going back to the current date. Example: Perhaps I went camping a few weeks ago, and am curious to review how I did during that week. The app needs to allow me to go back to that week, swipe around those days of camping, then if I hit “back” it needs to land on the range of dates I was most recently looking at. The way the app functions presently is highly labor intensive, as apps go, when it comes to viewing day-specific activity on various dates.

App is Broken After Last Update (Updated). Since the last update to the app, it stopped receiving and displaying usage data. Shows all prior data before the update, but will not show new data. **Update: Saw the alert banner in the app and since they have been working on the issue, it does appear that they fixed it. All data, new and existing, is back working. With the app working I changed my rating and will comment they the app does all I need it to. It’s easy to use. No fluff or unnecessary stuff. I definitely am pleased with the app. … as long as it stays working. **Update to the update: the issue happened again. Worked for a day then stopped working again. The banner says they are still trying to fix it. (Again) … the app is good, when it is working.

App does what it is meant to do. I’m only here because I had to do an app update, which does not occur too often so I was looking to see what was updated, and noticed all of the negative reviews. I have been using my ResMed CPAP for over 3 years now and I do not understand all of the negative reviews for this app. I read several and have been sitting here shaking my head. People complaining about how their machine operates and whatnot. I have several bones to pick with my machine, which maybe 2 or 3 days a week decides it wants to perform like a jet engine on take off. But this review is for the app, which does exactly what it is meant to do - syncs with your ResMed and shows you the sleep data, which takes some time to sync from the previous sleep cycle (about 10 minutes? I’m not sure since I don’t sync it immediately after waking up). I use the app while on WiFi, with a VPN, and have no issues connecting to my machine. I’ve used the app while on crappy hotel WiFi as well with no problems. This app shows the bare basics so if you want a more accurate account of how you are sleeping, take the memory card to your doctor and they can look at the data more thoroughly. Or buy a Fitbit, even the basic ones will show you your sleep cycle with REM data. This app gives you a very basic account of how you slept the previous night so it performs as advertised.

Horrible update. As many others have said, the most recent update is horrible. Prior to the update, you could just open the app and see details on your sleep. Now you open the app and have to tap into a second screen to see the details. This would be fine, but they replaced that “at a glance” very useful info with nonsense, one of these is an notice that is telling you how to access the information they moved (which would not be needed had they not moved it in the first place) and a training video showing you how to turn on your cpap. Not everyone is a new user and needs to be shown how to turn on their machine, let me customize the dashboard so I can see what is useful to ME. It can also be assumed that if they are looking for stats on their sleep using the cpap machine, that person figured out how to turn it on. It’s the equivalent of your car showing you a video of how to turn on your car, but only after you started your car.

Suggestion for future upgrades. This is my third try at using a CPAP machine over the last 15 years or so. My prior experiences all failed before I could get full benefits of the treatment. A combination of the much improved machine and the immediate feedback support of the app made it possible to get through the mask anxiety and finding a mask that worked. I appreciate the daily feedback, even the cheesy coaching, helped me stay with the treatment until I could feel the benefits and improve my life. There is one improvement that you might consider. It would be great to have the ability to provide notes visible to the clinician. For example; on a night with minimal use - “Got up early for travel” or “mask disconnected during night and I didn’t know until morning “ or “I am really struggling with the mask”. One might note a medication change -“Sleeping pill tonight”, or “Trying different mask”

Needs work. So while I love the information that this app provides, I think it could use some work. Some mornings I can have my results from my prior nights sleep within 30 minutes. Sometimes it can take an hour or more, or I may have to wait until I get home from work and try it again to see my results. I go to bed, get up, and leave for work within 5 minutes of the same time every day. So I find the time it takes to get the results very inconsistent. With as much information as the results provide in the app, I am surprised that it doesn’t report what pressure the machine worked at the night before. Mine is set up with a range of pressures to work at depending on what I need each night. And each night it’s different. But I have to find that on the machine, not in the app. Why not? All of the other information is available that way. That’s why I say this app needs work.

This is a good app, BUT…. … I was prescribed a Sleep therapy device for use while waiting for a tonsillectomy to be done. Leading up to the surgery, I began to have issues at times with my nasal mask leaking. The feedback from the app is great in that it recommends ways to fix that problem, but it does not allow for the user to provide any answer to the care check in questions, other than Yes the information was helpful, or No, the information was not helpful. Due to surgery recovery, my Doctor has recommended that I suspend using my Airsense 11 therapy device, for example. I was contacted through email and there was no way for me to communicate that with Resmes. Then, I started getting contacted with questions through the app. I am over 50, and my tonsils were extremely large, so recovery is taking a bit longer than expected. Once I fully recover, I will get back to using the product. Is there any plans to provide a way that users can provide feedback through the app for a situation like mine in the future? I’d give the app a higher review if that could be done. Thank you.

Useful, quick glance of CPAP stats. I have used this app daily for a couple years to monitor my CPAP therapy. It’s easy to use and allows clear tracking of my statistics. Recently the app had an update to include a detailed report that has further breakdown, like the doctor is able to view. I LOVE having access to this report without waiting to visit the doctor. A very good added feature. The only issue I’m having is the most recent data is not displayed onscreen after the update. I have to scroll over to view it. I liked being able to click on the “seal” or “events” heading to immediately view last nights data without scrolling. I think now it’s showing the beginning of the month instead. It may seem like a small change, but was confusing at first because I thought I was missing data since the dashboard numbers didn’t seem to be reflected in the detail screen, only to discover I now need to scroll to see it.

Doesn’t receive cpap data. Their status page says: “ We continue to experience delays syncing data from your ResMed PAP device into the myAir app. We recently sent an over-the-air (OTA) firmware update that introduced two new features and an improvement to the communication capabilities of the AirSense 11. This had an unintended impact of significantly increasing the amount of data being sent between therapy devices and the ResMed AirView cloud server, resulting in backlogged and delayed data in myAir and care provider systems. We know how important access to your data is, and we are working around the clock to resolve the delay so your data can be updated as soon as possible. Your data is safe and still being stored on your device, where it can be viewed with the “My Sleep View” function on the device itself. We expect the data to be restored in AirView and myAir over the next few weeks, at which time you and your provider will be able to view your therapy and adherence data on these platforms once again. We will continue to provide updates within the myAir app and on this webpage. Your clinician can view their AirView system for updates regarding access to your and other patients therapy data. Thank you for your patience and understanding.l

Okay at times.. When it works, the info is great. However, I’ve been using the app and my CPAP for 7 days now. Last night, I used it for 6.5 hours according to my machine (accurate) but the app says I didn’t use my machine at all. Also, the app tries to have me register an account every time I open it and never remembers me. It’s very annoying to have to log in every single time I want to check it. The dev responses on here are non-answers. We understand that the data on the app should not be the end-all-be-all for clinical needs but what’s the point in you even making this app if someone literally said that it didn’t track a single thing for a night yet their machine said differently and your response was for them to talk to their doctor…like, no, we understand actual decisions should be reviewed through the proper channels but when there is such a drastic discrepancy between what happened and what the app said you just need to kill the app at that point or actually fix the issue. We aren’t using it to make important decisions but to ensure very basics are met for insurance compliance, roughly how many hours were used that night, etc. This issue is the app, not the machine and your doctor can’t fix the app.

Slow to sync, sometimes days/weeks. When this app is working, it’s ok. However, they need to update the app with more relevant information. For instance, I have the nasal pillow mask. If I want to trouble shoot how it fits, the app won’t help. They only have one mask video tutorial and it’s for a full mask. That isn’t helpful for me. The app has also had sync issues numerous times since I started therapy in May. I can view my data on the actual machine, but not the app. Currently, they have a message on opening the app that states that they have my data, but there will be a delay in displaying it. The message has been there for three days. My app doesn’t show me any data for the past 6 days now. It also has incorrect data for 7 days ago. I don’t know what the issue is, but I know it’s happened a minimum of three times in less than 3 months. Resmed should consider upgrading their server and add tutorials for each mask they provide.

Triggers drowning incidents. Have to feel aggravated before falling asleep. My Have to feel aggravated before falling asleep. My control over Ramp time is nonexistent. Light for “RAMP” is not functional; so, I can neither turn it off or on. I feel like I’m drown at the setting of 4 which I cannot increase or decrease until the RAMP time extends long enough before goes to 8 or above. I doze off; I get aggravated with a drowning feeling at setting 4; have to calm myself down and trust the machine will go up to 8 eventually. I never had this problem before this improved model 11. I was given my old one when I arrived 6 years ago. I might have to go back my old one. I might chuck this one. I had almost drowned twice and this experience reminds me of those experiences. Why don’t I or why can’t I control my own breathing with this new machine? And if I can’t fix it now, I do I have to go through the aggravation of someone fixing it for me when I’m the one doing the breathing! The star represents a negative star! I would give 5 negative stars if I could! control over Ramp time is nonexistent. Ohh

What happened?. My use of this app started well in May 2023. I even took my CPAP machine to Europe in June, and the data updated 2 days after I returned. My only previous complaint was a lag in the app report when I had removed my mask in the middle of the night. Sometimes it took an entire day for the data to load. Then on July 27, no data appeared in the app. For 5 days nothing happened. I became concerned that something was wrong with my unit. I unplugged it; I reset the connection; I resynced everything; I moved it for a better signal. Nothing happened. I deleted and reinstalled the app. No improvement. I looked at the app ucomments and saw many many complaints over the same time period. So it wasn't just me. Then I received 3 days of data, and there is a banner at the top of the app display that tells me to rest assured that my data has been recorded and will take a few days to display. OK. Whatever. Today is August 10, 2023, and the last day displayed is July 30.

Doesn’t Show Useful Data. This app has a nice layout, is easy to use, and will teach you how to setup/use your machine properly, but it has one major flaw. I need to be able to see if I meet the usage compliance for my CPAP in order for it to be covered by insurance. The app records all the necessary data from your sleep while using the CPAP; however, the way this app breaks down “sleep sessions” makes the data, for me, worthless. Here’s an example: let’s say I use my CPAP and then at some point I take it off for few minutes to go to the bathroom or something. The app will count that as my first “sleep session”. Then, if I go back and put on my CPAP it will start a new sleep session. Here’s the problem, the app will only show one sleep session, it will not add up your sleep sessions from the same night or even let you view them. You can only view one sleep session per day! The only way for me to check how many hours I actually used my machine for is by checking the CPAP directly, which defeats the purpose of having an app to begin with. I’m sure for some of you this is no problem, but for someone that is a light sleeper and gets woken up very easily throughout the night, like me, this app is has no value after the first night. Hopefully someone from the dev team will fix this oversight soon.

First 3 weeks. I received my machine and I was reluctant to even have to use one. Prior to using a machine I was having neuropathy on both feet. That kept me up most of the night. I went through the walk through of the machine with the Resmed representative and started using it that same evening. I needed to get 4 hrs a night and I had to work at it. The comfort of the mask is paramount to having a successful experience with the machine. I was able get my 4 hrs but I really had to work at it. I did notice almost immediately my neuropathy went away and that was a blessing in itself. But I wasn’t sleeping with the mask on, I was just making sure I got my 4 hrs. Sometimes I would wear it for an hour and off for two and then on for an hour, sleep for 2 and then back on for an hour or as long as I could handle it. I finally remembered that I was sent a different mask and Of course my wife knew exactly where it was. The mask was a little different and it only had one headband and it was a nose mask. It was so much lighter, the first night I used it I slept 9 hours. I’ve since been getting my 7 hrs of sleep almost every night. Don’t settle for being uncomfortable with your mask, find the right one for you. It’s the difference of making it work for you or not.

THE NEW NORM IN MEDICINE!. Just like drug shortages, delays on Oxygen supplies, no Insulin, pharmacies closing down, there is a rapid breakdown of the American medical system. Doctors don’t care, staff don’t care, all you get is automated recordings or lies. Res Med My Air used to work great, then like everything else it just quit, Corporate doesn’t care, the places you get the machines don’t care, so get used it. The end of good medicine is here now, the medical community just does not care anymore. As for Res Med/My Air it is no mistake this is happening, States are just throwing millions of qualified people off of Medicaid, no reason given just cut off. Medicare requires users wear it and prove it atleast 4 hours a night or they cancel payments and the equipment has to be returned. This is no mistake, it is intentional and soon millions who depend on these machines to stay alive will see their insurance cut off payments due to “Non Compliance” You wait and see, next 60-90 days how many people get canceled! Mistake or equipment problems? No! It is all in their sick plan for the sick American citizen.

No data shows up or syncs. Without exaggeration or hyperbole, it is beyond me how Resmed could deploy an app as poor and sub par as this one. It doesn’t work at all. It shows me no data of prior nights, it doesn’t synch; it doesn’t alert me of anything, although I accepted notifications; it’s reporting functions are shallow at best; trying to reach support is practically impossible, and I could go on & on. The Airsense 10 machine For Her is also a very poorly functioning machine. It is loud. You can hear yourself breathe and it’s hard to fall asleep with it’s loudness. To boot, it’s inaccurate. Even when I have a bad night and can’t sleep the machine shows the happy face. For 12 years I have used a ResMed machine and although I had hundreds of nights where I couldn’t sleep because the pressure the doctor had set up was insufficient, the machine always showed the happy face. I never got a sad face, and I mean NEVER. I thought the new AirSense machines had updated functionality & technology, but it’s just as faulty as its predecessor. I wrote support an email and they did not respond. I am going back to my doctor & insurance to see about changing brands (maybe Respironics?). I’m ready to try anything but ResMed at this point. Missing, faulty, incorrect sleep data is the LAST thing any one with sleep apnea needs to contend with. There’s no excuse for this type of faulty equipment and bad apps like ResMed’s. They’ve been making these for decades.

Hire Someone to Fix Your Broken App!. Your app hasn’t updated properly for going on 6 days now. You didn’t even bother to send out a courtesy email letting everyone know that that there were issues with the app. I only found out after doing my own online research. Before that, I thought the problem was on my end or that I had inadvertently done something to cause the app failure. It wasn’t until a few days later that you made mention of the problem in the app itself. An email would have been nice. Perhaps you’ll send out an apology email when this is finally over. But how much longer will that be? I’ve seen other apps crash but never take this long to resolve. Hire some qualified people who can get the job done, please. UPDATE: Now you finally send me an email and it says, “Uh-oh! We’ve stopped receiving data from your CPAP machine”. The problem is on YOUR end! Why send out this email when you should be emailing everyone with an update on the broken app?

Complete crap. Just started using this app to look at my sleep results as its much easier with the app than using the machine. This app is garbage and the machine is also. For instance last night I tried a new mask. I woke up at least ten times to adjust it. My wife could not handle the leaking air noise and moved to a different room. Yet, the app said great seal, actually, perfect seal. Not possible. I actually took off the mask in early morning hours due to problems all night and yet it rated a perfect score. It said 2.5 events per hour, yet I woke up at least ten times adjusting that mask. this has happened many times, always a perfect score even when the machine showed that red face stating bad seal. Wierd since it syncs with the machine. Super easy to use, but false results. It's free and worth a shot, but in my experience inaccurate. Going to my sleep doctor to find a better mask and discuss how badly I sleep and how this app and res med machine could show inaccurate results.

No history & Continuous Disconnecting of Bluetooth. Update: as of July 30, 2023 the app is back to not updating the sleep history. Still having issues with it disconnecting from Bluetooth as well. (I am on the current version of the app) When the whole debacle of the app not updating with your sleep history happened I also started having issues with my Resmed Air Sense 11 randomly disconnecting from the Bluetooth connectivity in the app. As of July 7, 2023 this Bluetooth connection issue still keeps happening. I am constantly having to re-pair my device with my machine through the app multiple times per day which is frustrating. I did not have this Bluetooth connection issue until the worldwide “app outage” a happened few months ago. This app overall is an ok app. It allows you see basic information but I wish this app did more than that. I would love to be able to see when my apneas happened how long did they last, and which type of apnea it was since I have both obstructive and central sleep apnea. It would also be nice if you could interact with the app by being able to type notes regarding your sleep on the nights of apnea detection, put reminders of when to clean your equipment, or order supplies - things like that. This app could do so much more than just basic stuff which I’m hoping one day it will.

Still useless.. Adding to my previous poor review (below.) App has not provided me any data for the month of August (today is the 15th.) Feels like the Cpap machine is working and the VERY limited info provided on the Cpap screen each morning claims the same but I’ve been pretty tired recently- impossible to know what’s going on in my body without at least an oxygen rating. Company claims on the app that they had glitches with an update and are working round the clock to fix it. Maybe the “company” is one guy, he’s going 24/7, he’s exhausted, and inept? In this day and age, how does a company not get this fixed more quickly? At least just revert back to the previous software (which also would cut out randomly and leave me with no feedback but didn’t go dead for this long.) The AirSense Cpap people should be riding this app developer hard. Downgrading from my review of several days ago. None of my info has updated since last week. Obviously many people in these reviews are complaining which means there are a lot more who are unhappy but haven’t bothered to post a review. ResMed should get on the app developer. I’m going to try to find ResMed customer service online.

This app doesn’t remember my password. I tried to get into the app today to close it out and it won’t let me. It doesn’t recognize my password. (I am getting rid of my old machine today) and wanted to delete my account. So, I went in and got a link and reset it I thought. But when I try to get into the app it won’t let me at all now. I finally just deleted the app!!! I am getting another different machine today because my old one is warning ⚠️ me that 5 1/2 years is enough. I chose to get the Philips Respironics DreamStation as it has a two stage filtration system. My mom has that one and recommend I get that one as I have asthma. In all the years of changing filters in both hers and mine. Her filters are always dirty whereas mine hardly have any dust. “I change them at the same time”. Then today as I disassembled my machine I noticed a lot of dust inside of the intake hole. I feel that this machine needs to be reworked on its filtration system so as not to force unwanted dust deeper into our lung. Even cigarettes have filters to block “unwanted” dust particles.

Shows data and helpful videos as in app thumbnails. App seems to work as pictured in the App Store thumbnails. Has a lot of helpful videos, displays the summary on your phone in an easy to understand screen. The videos came in handy while I was learning to use the device as well great tips on adjusting mask. It's only been a month of use for me and other than the sleep data from my FitBit, this is the only other app that gives me sleep data so I don't have a lot to compare it to. I just started using my AirSense 11 when there were data delays causing data to not show up. Unsure if the problem was app or machine related, no updates or acknowledgement on app or ResMed website addressing this for several days, though I saw posts online on several different sites from other users having the same issues when I searched the web.

Suggestion…. This is my first week with the app and machine. I’m having some issues with the machine and it would be nice to have a NOTES section so that I can record questions or notes about what took place so I can convey them to the rep who assisted me with the machine or to the doctor. You have the five sections spread across the top (usage, seal, events, on/off, and score) if you add a notes section you could have 3 on top 3 on bottom making them a little bigger and thus pushing the data portion down (there is about a fingers width of space on my screen and should have plenty of room to do so. Two more items pertaining to this…1) allow enough space for us long winded folks who like to take detailed notes [make the notes expandable and easy to use] and (2) allow the notes to be on the dashboard screen. It can toggle to the history screen and function like the other options. If you align the big circle to the left and the upload/forward button up in the right corner there would be room for a vertical rectangle icon and you could make it look like a page of notes! *I hope that you will consider adding a notes section. Thank you for taking time to read my suggestion.

This app is a nightmare. My machine is fine. I’m on day 8 currently and after a week of using the app, my general thoughts are this app is absolutely worthless. It’s supposed to give us basic answers to our sleep routine and the app doesn’t provide that. It never syncs. I close it, delete it and redownload, sign in AGAIN, only to be met with “no data”. My connection is great in my home, but somehow the machine says 1 bar. I literally can’t move the machine anywhere else so each night I’m met with the same disappointment. In 2022 when technology is at an all time high, I find it aggravating that the app is so utterly raggedy. Thank goodness the machine tracks my actual sleep data for insurance- bc if I had to rely on this defective app, I’d be losing my free rental from insurance. This app needs serious work and looking at the developers responses, they seem to think it’s all OUR faults for poor connection, or our lack of understanding of how it’s supposed to work. The app is garbage and only gives minimal answers and solutions to real technical issues users are clearly having. Paying this app dust!

Wretched, especially ”support“. Update after 2-3 months use, and post developer response: Developer’s response to my original review proves my point about canned responses. How can I monitor the effectiveness of my therapy if I’m not able to also figure out my sleep patterns and how they are changing (or not)? Also, it really appears that the score you get from this app is almost entirely based on the number of hours that you use the machine. But as I said, there is no other app for the ResMed machine. Original post: I am really surprised that there is really no information available from this app that would make it actually useful for a person who is trying to proactively improve their sleep. You will receive a composite score, and numbers that are rounded down for events, etc. There is no open ended support interface. The app forces you to choose categories and questions from its own pre-populated library in order to submit questions. So if you want to ask about anything else, you’ve just got to force the issue, pick the closest one even if it is actually unrelated, and then pose your question. Then, even if your message/support request gets through. Responses are generally canned, and it’s not quite clear that they actually read your inquiry. So, you’ll get the app because… What else are you going to do? There is no other app for the Resmed machine, and it’s not as though the machine itself makes any data available.

No longer works. I’ve been using the app for quite some time without problems. For the past week, however, it is not showing data. Like other users, I was patient at first with the problem. I tried to reset the machine, delete and reinstall the app, etc. Now, I’m giving up as it seems like the app is permanently broken. The support responses to other reviewers indicates they are not working on a solution. Very frustrating. Edit: According to other reviews the issue is due to 3 G discontinuation. Would have been nice if developer had acknowledged this instead of messaging that I should contact the equipment supplier. They should also acknowledge the app limitations in the app description to save users a lot of frustration due to lack of data. Failure to do so seems disrespectful at a minimum. People use the results to evaluate a health issue and make necessary adjustments (e.g., poor mask seal score=try new mask to improve sleep quality, low hours=rearrange schedule/priorities to get more hours). The issue directly impacts the health of users and it seems irresponsible to leave this unacknowledged for potential new users who may be confused as well as current users who rely on the data.

Where’ the data?. Resmed makes good machines but can’t seem to make an app that is reliable, able to deliver data to myself and my doctor, and consolidate data from home and travel machines. This app often only records a part of the night’s data. I use the machine 7 hours and it says I used it only 2 hours. This error is hours after I stop using the machine. Why can’t ResMed make ONE reliable app that collects data from both Airsense 11 AND AirMini together in ONE place? There are holes in this app when I travel and use the AirMini. It says I did not use CPAP, but I actually did! Please fix this ResMed. Several of my doctors can’t access the data from this app. ResMed makes it very difficult for me or my doctor to see it. It’s very important because the machine could be taken away from you if you don’t have an accurate compliance report! Isn’t it a legal issue that a patient can’t access their own data? It is MY data after all. ResMed says it’s uploaded to “the cloud”….what cloud? Whose cloud? How do I and my doctors get my data and compliance report from that cloud? ResMed needs web developers that understand the app from a user prospective. They need to make ONE reliable app, for ONE person with data in ONE place. I don’t want my machine taken away because my doctors can’t see the data or because the data says I did not use CPAP when I actually did!

No cell reception, no Bluetooth option. This device cellular connection is terrible. I have full bars on Verizon and T-Mobile and AT&T from my home and yet this thing has no signal, or one bar, no matter where it is moved. No data is uploaded. I can see this is going to be a point of debate with the insurance company, as no one told me about the stupid 90 compliance rule for reimbursement and I didn’t set up the app until after using it for a week—-and this device also doesn’t start tracking until after you set up the app— it keeps NOTHING until you set up the app, despite apparently sending cell signals to the cloud without you knowing it. So now I’ve lost now 8 days of data, because even after setting up the app, it won’t connect to the cloud. Not to mention that I was sent this thing without any option to select from vendors. It seems like a decent device, but there is no way to correct the fact that ResMeds integrated automatic, and active-without-telling-you cellular connection doesn’t work and the user has no control over it either. Perhaps a Philips device would be better? I’ll never know, I suppose.

No Wireless / No Work. From my understanding of the reviews and online research for the app to function you must have a strong wireless signal. The device syncs the data to the cloud and once completed transfers the data via Bluetooth to the app. Since my device shows empty wireless bars with a diagonal line regardless of the room it is placed or even outside I’m unable to connect wirelessly. If the device has a strong wireless signal it syncs data to the cloud and then syncs via Bluetooth to the app. No wireless signal no app functionality. As far as gaining any insight from the previous night’s sleep it serves no function. Other information in the app is easily obtained online. The app does not have the ability to change settings on the device. What’s the purpose of Bluetooth? If you had a strong wireless signal and the data is sync with the cloud the app could then sync with the cloud bypassing Bluetooth. What would make sense for individuals like me with no wireless signal is for the app to receive data via Bluetooth from device then the app to sync the data to the cloud. Which brings me back to “What’s the purpose of Bluetooth?”

Slow access to data, dated user experience, but it mostly does the job. The app is constantly saying I have no data. Support always claims that this is due to slow uploads or a bad cellular connection but cell service is excellent in my area, and it’s easy to tell that they’re lying because most of the time I can switch to the history view, switch back and the data populates immediately. Two years in on home screen widgets and the only widget this provides is a today view widget, and to add insult to injury the today view widget broke completely in their last release, so I have to launch the app anyway. I can’t get access to my data except via PDF exports (ie: no API, no CSV, no HealthKit support) so working with the data is incredibly manual and obnoxious. I can’t get status on my apple watch, which is where I’d most prefer to see it, as that’s the device I’d rather check in the morning. This app is a janky mess, but I wouldn’t give it *one* star, because for a mandatory app provided by the manufacturer of a medical device I have no choice but to use, it at least sort of does the job. They *could* have provided me with utterly nonfunctional garbage, and I’d have no real choice to use anything else. I launch it, I can see basic information about mask fit and AHI, and it uses FaceID so I don’t have to type my password every time. So it is squarely mediocre. (Although you know what breaks FaceID so this feature is useless half the time? A CPAP MASK.)

Heard of WiFi?? Does it sleep until 10am??. We live in the country and don’t get the best cell service. So since bedroom is in lower level we get 1 bar at best. Says to move it to a better location but most people I know sleep on their bedroom not the living room or kitchen. With WiFi we have a great connection all over the house. We will have even worse cell service at the cabin this summer. WiFi would be very helpful. Data might not go to the cloud but it could go machine to cell by WiFi and the to cloud when we get to a good cell connection. Duh it’s 2021 right? Next of the many reasons for the 1 star rating is that if you bump the power button and shut it off almost immediately it still counts that as your score for the night for a VERY long time. The accurate data did not appear until after 10:30 am the next morning. Is the app on doctors hours? Why would it even think to give a score of zero for a two second use of the machine when the power is accidentally turned on? Lock that crap out. My husband is just getting started on this and a zero score for the second night just made him cranky and he was going to give up. Think about how your data impacts people that really need encouragement at the beginning of use. There is much more to say but I can see with a 2.7 rating you probably have heard a lot of it already and will just continue to ignore comments anyway

Works great!!. I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I had no problem setting it up, or using it. People need to realize that’s the hours recorded are for 24 hour periods. Where I’m at, which is Pacific standard time, it goes from 10 AM to 10 AM the next day. That means if I go to bed at 8 AM and sleep till 3 PM it’s going to record two hours of data for the first day and five hours of data on the following day.(I work nights) and I find that in order for it to sync The power button must be Long pressed until the green light goes out. Because if you only press the power button once, it doesn’t seem to sync while the green power button light is still on. And I find that by closing the app completely and restarting it will cause it to sync immediately. This app isn’t supposed to give you the same details that your doctor gets, but this will show you if you’re in compliance for your insurance company. And I highly recommend looking at the report that is generated from the summary which will give you your 30 day, 90 day and year-long results and your conformance. Which for me is using it 70% of the time which is 21 out of 30 nights a month at least four hours a night.

I don’t know why the low star rating?. Ok I was skeptical to download the app based on the one star reviews, but downloaded it anyway, and I’m glad I did, so far it’s been good with my iPhone 11, I like that I can see a semi detailed report of my sleep patterns on my phone. My sleep studied showed I have 27 apnea’s per hour, and the app confirmed this, my doctor also told me that the opioids I take for pain (Oxycodone) is what’s giving me breathing problems when I sleep, my research showed he was right, oxycodone can cause respiratory problems, this app also confirmed it, while taking oxycodone i had 27-28 apnea an hour, when I stopped taking the oxycodone I only had between 4-9 apnea’s according to this app, and started feeling better mentally and physically, minus the back pain which I will find another alternative that is NOT opioids. I also like that the app has a sleep score, 1 day I got a Sleep score of 100 and man that score was on point because I felt so rested with no headache’s , I felt like a million bucks. Now striving to get a 100 score every-time, Great app, to the developers; keep up the good work :)

Basically useless right now. For several days I get the message when I open the app that info has been recorded but data will be delayed. This is the second time this has happened but this time is going longer. Hopefully this will be fixed before my next visit with my sleep specialist. Last appointment he thought I was doing great because of how many hours it showed on his end that I was using my cpap. What his info didn’t include was how many on/offs I had each night, which gave a more accurate picture of how I’m sleeping. He was surprised to see the 3-4 on/offs nearly every night that showed in the app. If I don’t have this info available when I need help from my doctor, the app is basically useless. Edited to add, I’m still not getting data from the machine, plus I got an email yesterday saying that it’s been a while since they’ve gotten data from my machine and asking if I’m still using it with no way to respond to that question. Now the app is saying that data will be delayed over the next few weeks. Coupled with that email, I’m not confident my data will ever be available in this app, and maybe not even to my doctor. I’m glad I’m not in my first month of use. My insurance would not have covered my cpap if they hadn’t gotten the info showing that I’d been using it consistently.

This app is pretty good.. I started suing a CPAP machine in June/2019. I was aware this app myAir existed. However, (back then) I didn’t like this app and deleted it after a couple of days. That being said, I downloaded this app again a week ago (Jan/2020). I can honestly say that I am very happy with the myAir app. The UI is friendly. This app is simple to use and even more simple to understand. Even though I know my CPAP machine has helped me a great deal, this app gives me further confidence that the CPAP machine treatment and SLEEP is going very well. It’s not really a “knock”, but I will say it because it may help some other users of the myAir app or those whom are considering downloading/using this app. I wake up at 05:30am every morning. Although I check the app when I wake up, the myAir analysis and sleep score are never ready until about an hour later (@06:30am). That’s all. The myAir app gets 5 stars.

UPDATE: Therapy data delayed again.. UPDATE: I don’t know what’s wrong with this app when I need to see my data it’s simply not available. The data is being recorded, they say, but that doesn’t help me adjust settings in real time to understand my therapy. Please get it together. Patients rely on receiving consistent information. Original: My iPhone is updated to the current iOS 16, but this app is not. I should have taken that into consideration before I downloaded this app, which simply doesn’t sync whether I’m on wifi or using cellular data. I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it, and once it synced, more than 15 hours after I woke up. All other Bluetooth devices in my home, or car, sync to my phone without error. So this app is the issue, not my connectivity. I hoped to use this app to track my therapy data automatically, but it’s impossible because the data will not sync. Since the same data is available by looking at the CPAP machine, I recommend manually recording it with another app, spreadsheet or by using a good old fashioned paper and pen.

Needs Apple Health Integration. I’ve been using this app for almost 2 years with no data collection or syncing issues so far. However, a genuine request would be for this app to sync its sleep data with the Apple Health App on my iPhone. How this simple integration was left out is head scratching. It would have made my experience with my employer’s benefits solver much simpler if the sleep data collected in this app transferred to Apple Health App. I could have proven I’d been tracking my sleep for the program’s required time frame. That’s really the only data collection point that would need to be shared. Please add this feature and I’ll update my review and star rating. Update: this was part of the response I got from the developer. “While we would love to provide your data within Apple Health, their HealthKit doesn't currently have the ability to integrate with sleep therapy data. We know this is a popular request and should they add this integration within their HealthKit we will certainly look into this for future versions…”

Good with one fault. Very good app overall. I like the graphical layout and charting options and don’t mind the delay in data availability that some have complained about. Certainly this is a better app than the competitor I used to use when I owned a different cpap machine. My one complaint here is the mask on/off measure. This should be a measure of involuntary mask displacement, such as when someone removes their mask during sleep, or could be omitted altogether. What it should not be is a measure of the number of times per night a person wakes up and turns off the machine. People get up to use the bathroom, to tend to children and pets, and for many other reasons. This isn’t related in any way to sleep apnea or to the use of the machine itself and shouldn’t be factored in to a calculation whose aim is to quantify sleep quality based on apnea. Otherwise this app does what it needs to.

It is flakey as heck. There’s no consistency to when the app updates through Bluetooth. Sometimes early in the day, sometimes late in the day, sometimes not at all. I’ve had to reset the connection four or five times in the first month. Last night it claimed that I didn’t use my machine at all, so I don’t know if that was an app issue, or if the machine didn’t record my usage. I’ve been on a CPAP for six years. I replaced my -10 with a -11. The app now is just as bad as it was before. And don’t get me started on why Resmed cut the size of the water bin to less than half between the -10 and the -11. It runs down to drops of water at home on a normal night and completely dry when we’re in the RV because the RV is never completely level and I can’t fill the water bin to the absolute brim. I’m not especially happy with Resmed right now. Would not use a Resmed again. They sent a nice blow-off response when I asked them about it. Polite, but completely useless response.

Content made for older white men?. I’ve worn a cpap for 9 years and started wearing one when I was 30. I just upgraded my cpap and now am using the app too. Positives: The app tracks data nicely and it’s neat to see the feedback in real time. It’s great that this also gets transmitted to my provider too. Negatives: The ‘helpful’ videos show mostly older white men, and a few older white women, using their cpap masks. As a 39 year old woman, none of these help address how to adjust the cpap mask without having more hair breakage, best hairstyles to maintain hair integrity and keep mask straps in place, how to best position straps on face when wearing face moisturizer and serums to bed, etc, etc. this app also tracks how many times your mask is on/off through the night- I have a 4 month old, so this is really only tracking how many times I get up to breastfeed during the night. The questions the app asks are all yes/no questions and feel like they are catering to a demographic that is not helpful to the rest of us.

Not happy with app password reset. App session expires very often user needs to reset password every month!!! User is not reminded in advance to reset password, instead the session just expires silently. Welcome to the 21st century Resmed! 🤦🏻😅

Good overview only. Provides a good overview of your sleep but it’s far from comprehensive enough so you’ll still need to download your full data into OSCAR or similar to get the full picture. After years of asking it’s great to see we’ve finally been given Apple Health integration. Nice one. I’ve always felt the one thing my therapy needed was a comparison of my CPAP usage hours with my step count. Then I realized that I’m not a sleepwalker so that’s utterly useless. How about letting Apple Health show us apnea events vs pulse ox and heart rate on an overnight graph? That might actually be meaningful.

Lacking Data. I want to my daily pressure data. Average and 90% pressure data should be in the report.

Bad design, slow to update, minimise useful information. I’ve used a few different CPAP machines and apps and this is the least useful of any app yet. All the important information you want to see is hidden behind a score that is meaningless. Key information about leaks, when or how long or how bad the leak is, what your AHI was, what your AHI was made up of, what pressures your machine ran at max/min/avg/90%, how your breathing was. It treats the patient like an idiot and gives them no control over there own treatment. It can also take hours to update after you wake up in the morning. It’s a very poor effort and I’ve very disappointed.

New layout is ok, but why do I have to navigate to a second page for the dashboard. This update is a step away from good UX, given that the dashboard (which used to display upon opening the app) now requires user to navigate to a second page.

Airmini. Would you please do the same for the Airmini App. It’s frustrating not being able to see historical dates for that device. Surely it can’t be that hard to implement?

Sync is slow and information basic. I am very disappointed in this app. The information takes some time to come through from the machine. I find it quite frustrating. The presentation and content is basic. Not too impressed and will continue to use Oscar.

Don’t bother it just doesn’t work. I tried setting it up but I’ve given up. First the verification email doesn’t arrive. Then the server is constantly down. Then it asks for the serial numbers of your machine but no, there’s a problem with that too. The problems go on and on. I give up.

Okay app when I can actually use it. I can’t log in to the app. I have not been able to log in for weeks. I have spoken to many customer service representatives who were all very nice. They all end up sending me a reset password link that does not allow me to reset my password. No one has figured out yet why I can’t reset my password to log in. I just keep getting the same answer no matter who I speak to or what I say. Maybe this review will prompt someone to help me figure out what is wrong with my account.

FB Evora full. I have been using the above mask for three nights now, and have experienced the best sleep so far. Thankyou, healthy sleep solutions.

Loving new resmed and app. Simple easy to use Can show app results to GP Would be better 5* if results available after cease use after 30mins can be a bit random, maybe a wifi issue

Good information but why the password issues?. This is a good app when using a sleep apnea machine. Lots of interesting information. But painful when it logs you out. Why do you need such a complex password system that requires special characters and that you MUST change your password and it cannot be the same as the previous passwords? What the heck will someone do with this information that requires such security???

Mixed feelings. I like the UI but, as other posters have suggested, a link to Apple Health would be great, along with information such as when during the night the events were occurring. The data must be there, it’d just be nice to see it.

Makes me smiling. Great application make me to improve my sleep with all the adjustments available to be used properly

I can’t even enter my d.o.b!!. Honestly, what kind of testing was done on this app? I try to create an account and the only d.o.b I can enter is today’s date in 2007! Every time I pick something else it scrolls back to today’s date in 2007! As for TZ selection the only thing that saves it is the search function, as the timezones aren’t in any order I can determine - not geographical, not alphabetical and not by UTC Offset. I gave up at that point having never managed to create an account.

Reporting is now reduced. Looks like a recent update has removed the bar graphs and associated date. Reports are now very basic. Disappointing!

Terrible first option. You would think they would build a test page so you could see it is working. Access to the set up menu would be simple to provide

My air app doesn’t work at all or recognise the serial or device number. Need help but it’s a loop and can’t seem to locate any form of love support. Also my hose almost caught on fire whilst I was sleeping last night which was frightening. Using AirSense 10. Help if you can

Machine good app could be better. I had an air mini and the app being on Bluetooth was far better..results straight up.. I don’t understand going 3G where as an interstate driver a lot of times no results for up to 24hrs also where’s the pressure reader gone from bottom of screen?? Ty

Patient data too simplified. Not sure why this app is getting good reviews. The data it provides each day is so generalised and simplified as to be useless to understand or improve your treatment quality. The instructional videos are a nice touch but have no verbal/text content to explain what is happening (background music only).

Not sure why updates delay data. At every major update the daily data update gets later in the day. It’s now after 9am. Pointless checking it for medical appointments, it’s not available when you need it.

Suggestion. Love the App. I would like to see the daily pressure added to the bottom of the dashboard screen when you scroll down the same as what you have already done on the air mini app. So useful to see what pressure the machine was at each day to get a feel for how you are trending and as you have already done it on the air mini app should be an easy fix.

Could be so much better. I like the machine but the app is disappointing. Let’s have more info like pressure delivery over the night and phone friendly graphs. Just giving a score without explaining how it is compiled is somewhat condescending as well. Users generally know a lot about the subject and want far more transparency of information. I expected so much more from the company whose founders invented CPAP.

Can’t login, no one to contact. Can’t login, says try forget password but don’t receive an email, not in junk either, no number to call, terrible service

My data, not my supplier’s. I should be able to access full data without contacting the supplier or my doctor. The data is mine. The app should display the same reports that are available for clinical purposes.

Needs more user information. Great user interface and easy to use but could have more useful information available. Lacking in-depth information that’s important to the user Let’s utilise the app for information instead of the machine screen Requires ability to register two machines under the single profile for the people that require this. Bring it up to speed with Phillips DreamMapper version Would be a huge advantage to include a “nightshift worker” feature to account for different timing of sleeping periods.

Works well and keeps me on track. Monitoring my sleep patterns and helping me get better quality sleep has been really helpful

Time saver!. I’ve been using the web version of myAir but this app makes it much easier. I can sign in with Face ID and see the same info the website has. Saves me time. As for the other review, I had no issues setting the app up at all. Just make sure you have your login info and that’s it.

Unstable since last upgrade. I’ve not been able to use the app for 6 days get in and want sync like it did so often before

Great app, but needs improvement. Now that the app has been released for the AU NZ market I’m very happy - great UI, easy to use, however there are a few things it needs. It really could use integration with my other health based apps - it should be able to send sleep data to other services for example. Overall very happy, but a few extra features would make it perfect.

Unhappy. Really unhappy with the app. I have the Airsense 10. I created a profile, added my device’s serial number and device number only to be told my device is ‘not supported in [my] region’ and to add ‘another device’. I was told when I bought it that I could download and sync the app to my machine. Not true. At AUD$1000 a pop, I will not be buying another one.

Coopers Sleep Machine. Best invention ever, speeds up falling asleep, reduces the times to the bathroom during the night & a boon for your partner prevents snoring I take it everywhere Even have a 12v adaptor for the car battery

Latest update stuff up. Latest update gave no data that night and set back to zero as if I’ve just started .now getting emails and messages about new therapy. I have had a machine fir 8 years. Annoying

Good app but I have suggestions. It’s good app but it can be further improved. My suggestion is that you also include maximum and 95th percentile pressure for the day. Another one would be to rate how you feel when waking up and at the end of the day. This can help people like me adjust and reflect on what I did / settings I applied to make my sleep great. Thanks

No integration to Apple Health app ?. Really ? I’ll review further when you address the basics So in latest update you decide to extract steps from Health app - seriously !!! Time wasted when you should be writing data from MyAir to the Health app.

real time data upload. Why does it take over 1 hour after ending my sleep to see my usage data? This should be possible in real time...

Looking forward to updates. As a long time user of a cpap machine, I appreciate my new apap machine, it size and it’s features. I am really happy to be able to see my own data real time and getting support to understand it. Great job. Looking forward to see where this goes. Cheers.

Resmed air sense for her. Happy with app but would be better with A connection to my Apple Watch

Amazing app and data. What an amazing product and app to support the product! I have just been put on a CPAP machine and was testing Phillips and now moved to ResMed and so happy! Wish this app was available and modified to work with iPad would be so good! The iPhone app is ok but not full length display. Please bring this ASAP

Good app. Is there a Way you can include a time of events and the type

A useful app, BUT. . . .. It is impossible to contact Support - the website just has menus and sub-menus of pre-set questions and answers, and no means to lodge specific questions, such as: 1. - What are the steps to get data into Apple’s iOS Health app? and, 2. - What does ResMed intend to do for users of AirSense10 devices when 3G connectivity is turned off in the middle of this year? Is it too much to expect Support to read reviews and respond here. . .

Sign in drops out often. For several months now, frequently when I try to open MyAir it requires me to log in again. Not acceptable! I used to be able to open MyAir without any concern that I’d have to log back in. Please remove whatever causes my password to drop out.

Basic info intermittently. Some mornings I can access my night's data and other mornings it just doesn't work until later in the day. I blame the cellular approach rather than WiFi that Resmed has built into the unit - out here in 'the country' I never get more than single bar of strength. Luckily the data displayed by the app is no more than what I can see on the unit's display screen so I'm not caught out by the lack of info. Not an app I would highly recommend.

Help full App. After uninstalling and reinstalling it now works fine.

Good so far. Integration with Apple Health would be great. Additionally, it would be helpful to when AHI events and mask off events occur during the night.

Great machine, horrible app. I use Airsense 11 and it’s a great machine. I would personally rank it above the Airsense 10. But this is about the app. Please please please - let the users see the following in the app. 1. Total AI 2. Obstructive AI 3. Daily pressure Please trend these in the plots by day. It’s the 21st century and apps have moved on. Please move out of the “holding data with retail outlets / so called experts” mentality and place the data with the customers. It then allows me to speak with my GP with my data at any point. Apple has placed all its watch data (in fact more complicated and critical than this) in the hands of the users. The world has moved on and not showing all data in the app just allows other app developers to create apps with data from SD cards etc. and plot & store what this app should be doing natively. I have not seen a single response from ResMed developers to any feedback - so I am not sure if anyone even reads this; but if anyone is reading this at all they will know that everyone is asking for the same thing.

New changes less useful. Have to tap on multiple bits to find past scores if you don’t review scores daily. Air mini app is much easier to navigate as was previous version of this app. Now it’s all bars and lines first which requires multiple taps to find and see what it all means, doesn’t translate well.

Great machine, under-resourced client facing software. You postulate that sleep is an important part of health Your extensive data collection indicates that this activity must be important. You add an app on an iPhone because you believe that it is important that the user can track the results. However, you don’t allow us to connect our collected data into the existing health infrastructure that the iPhone has. Why is it that the only people who can’t see or use their own data as they want to, are the users themselves? (Common throughout society, so Resmed aren’t the only culprits) You’ll get the fifth star when your actions match your message. Having said that, these machines are quite amazing when you see what they are designed to do.

Improvements required. It’s Ok to see the data but it should be integrated into other apps and it should update fast in the next morning. It takes 1-2 hours to update

Not enough information. The app only gives the user very basic information and a basic score. I want to see how my machine performed through the night, how much pressure was delivered and when, if I had a leak when was it? When you click on “Report” in the history section it should give a more detailed report

Pressure data and support.. I’m very curious about the average pressure and peak pressure I hit throughout the night. There’s no way to see this info. This seems odd to me since it’s one of the main data points of a CPAP. I ran into a lot of frustration to when trying to contact support. Both the link in the app and App Store that are for contacting support really just take you to a F.A.Q. with predetermined questions. There is seemingly no way to actually contact support. Update: thank you to the developer for responding. I think knowing the average pressure and max pressure throughout each night would be useful in communicating with the doctor how the machine is functioning for the individual. When I first started using CPAP it was set too high and I gave up on it. I had no way of correlating the pressure to my quality of sleep each night. Thank you again.

App. This app is good. I’ve had better with Phillips. Most frustrating is the fact that occasionally it will not update the previous night’s stats,,, and the sometimes, no updates for days. Wi-Fi signal is strong in the house, but the machine only shows one bar no matter where I move it when just trying to get updates. It also does not show what the air pressure was for the night. I have to call my provider for this. My Phillips did this. Finally, my Philips showed all information on the machine screen, so if the app wasn’t working properly (very rarely), I could get everything from the machine. I don’t mind some of these issues, But the biggest complaint is that the machine has problems updating occasionally. Steve

Good app, but data update is unreliable. I do appreciate this app, and when it gets the data from my CPAP machine, it displays it really nicely. But I have been experiencing multiple days in a row where the data is not received in the app. Since it displays properly on the machine face, I have to assume the issue is either the app or my connectivity. But if it were connectivity, I would think I would experience it in other devices in my house. It is frustrating… Today on the home screen of the app, I read a message stating, “ therapy data delays. Your data was received, but expect several days delay.” I have reconnected my Bluetooth several times in hopes of fixing it, but so far it has not displayed the data, even though I can see it on my machine and I know that I used it.

Clean app, a bit light on data. The app is nicely designed and is much better in most ways than the Philips equivalent. There are a couple points that prevent the app from being as good as it could be. First, when the app syncs in the morning, it will immediately show the score for your first segment of sleep up until the time the mask first comes off. For me, I usually have to get up at least once a night for one reason or another. I think it would be better for the app to wait until the full night has been processed by the server before displaying any score at all in the app. The initial low score, although not really representative of the full night’s score, is somewhat deflating to see. Second, the app is very light on actual data. It would be nice for it to show the breakdown of CA, hypopneas, apneas, etc. I know the device itself kind of shows this, and you can put your data card into OSCAR to see much more, but it’d be great if this app could be a kind of intermediary level of insight between the two. I also must note that I have no idea how the API works with ResMed’s servers, so there may be inherent limitations as to what the app can do. Anyway, keep it up, developers!

Please add the ability for users to add short daily notes. I definitely want the ability to add a short note to a given day’s report. For instance, “changed mask type to xyz”, “power outage 10-11pm”, “first night with a chin strap”, etc. I tried a full face mask for ONE NIGHT trying to solve a leakage problem and the results were so bad I experienced my highest AHI ever, 5 times normal. Because it was so bad I remember exactly why, but smaller adjustments are harder to remember. Small vs medium nasal pillows, % humidity, etc. I want to be able to use the data to work towards my optimal settings. Of course it goes without saying that these notes should sync with and be visible on the web site.

Hate the latest upgrade. I’ve been using the app for years. I’ve learned to live with the app not giving you your score when you first get up but the latest update where they force you to tap the score to get the details so that they can include a link to a coaching video is absurd. I want my score and detail, I’ve been on a CPAP for years, not looking for coaching. It works OK (you don’t get your score right away) but the score was there when your opened the app. This is a bad UI/UX design and no way to fix it in settings. Why not a lower score, it still works as well as before (again, would be nice to have the full score when I finished the session). I wish the developers would have addressed the immediacy of the score details instead of hiding them and providing me something I don’t want nor need.

It’s technically an app. This app gives tiny fragments of information with no way of getting more detail (how long were the events, when, how does that compare over time, what pressure am I receiving) or of syncing it to Apple Health. My continuous glucose monitor links to Apple Health so it’s definitely possible, it’s just a matter of the app not being important to the company. As it is, I can open it and see how long I had it on for (total - even though it knows when you take it off/put it on it doesn’t tell the user that information) and how the seal was (only one rating, it doesn’t tell you whether there were fluctuations in the seal) and that’s it. In addition, the score it gives you feels condescending; it’s all “great job you scored 100” but all I did was go to sleep. I downloaded it thinking it would help me track parameters to get a better whole-health picture and I’m super disappointed.

Notification and Apple Health fail. New update = notification that doesn’t go away and doesn’t leave anything to tend to. For such an important app, I am now only left to turn all Notifications from my ResMed app OFF. I would imagine that this could be a bad thing when dealing with a medical device. Speaking of medical device… Why is it that such a large company with such an important medical device is NOT compatible with the Apple Health app?!? This makes absolutely NO sense at all! If MyAir engineers are unable to figure out how to make it compatible, I think I would find new engineers. It’s not rocket science. If it has to do with some other reason, I would think it would behoove MyAir/ResMed to respond to the incredible amount of people who are wanting this compatibility. If nothing else, make a mention of it in your next update…even if it’s just your reasoning for not offering that service.

More info please. This app isn’t too bad however I’d like to know what times my ‘Events Per Hour’ are happening and when the ‘Air leaks’ are occurring because at times I will readjust the mask or move it away from my face because it feels like something is tickling or itching my nose, almost like lint, but it’s not. If it’s me or happening during the night while I’m sleeping I’d like to know that if possible. Thanks. 😊 2021 ⭐️- - - one star. Updated the app because it wouldn’t let me in for my info. Big mistake. It wiped out all previous info and started with no info. 🤬thanks!!! If you want to update and improve the app, fix the events per night with the Times that these events happen during the night. It would be more helpful than just the number of times they happen.

Does it work or not?. Some days it works, some days it doesn’t. Tonight all I’m getting is the same “myair app experienced an error. Please try again.” message, over and over again. I think 3 stars is generous. Update: I’m still getting an error and have no data. This is really disappointing! I’m supposed to see my equipment people today to talk about a possible mask swap, and I now have no data to use in our discussion. Plus, I think last night might have been my best night of sleep since I started therapy, and I have no data to back it up, no info about mask leaks I’ve been having so much trouble with. CPAP therapy can be so discouraging, and we really don’t need yet another thing to add to the list. Get this app right guys!

Terrible app, poor connectivity. Like others have mentioned, to release an app for a medical device this poor in 2023 is inexcusable. MyAir is functionaly worthless without a cellular connection (it uses T-mobile) and despite a good cell signal in my bedroom it refuses to upload data for days on end. The same data the Airsense is capturing quite nicely on the SD card, but apparently transferring to my phone app via either wifi or Bluetooth is beyond the ability of this app developer. My 5 year old Philips Dreamstation could do this with no issues and sentence data to my phone daily when there was zero cell service. My advice : if this app isn't working for you, pop out the SD card, transfer to a computer and view the data in Oscar or a similar app. And cross Resmed off your list of CPAP devices until they get their act together.

Limited functionality. I understand that this app is focused on compliance but was expecting more given all the data that the Airsense is collecting. A score in the 90’s is not equivalent to a good night’s sleep and the app does not show details such as hourly pressure settings, leakage variations (vs nightly averages), details on mask off periods etc that would be helpful in making adjustments over time. Looking forward to a new version with more granularity. Appended following a reply from the developer: I still stand by my 2-star review with two more specific examples. First, for a recent night, the Airsense 11 CPAP was “Your mask seal was great last night”; from MyAir, the guidance was to “Adjust” the mask seal and there may have even been a recommendation to replace the mask, though I can’t reproduce that message. The guidance from the Airsense and MyAir needs to be consistent. Second, a key part of the MyAir score and tracking is “Mask On/Off” but there is no distinction re: when that happens. If the mask is removed within a minute (or even 5 minutes) of putting it on, for example to make an adjustment, the impact is not the same as it coming off in the middle of the night. The app has potential but it’s not yet worth using as a way to guide improvements in sleep quality.

‘LAST NIGHT’s DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE YET. At 9:00 am next morning, data still not available. This happens frequently. Very irritating, especially since we are having problems with air leak. If the data were available immediately, I would know whether or not air leak is a problem & continue trying to correct it with the feedback...As long as wifi is working, don’t see why data is not available within minutes of machine use...it was available within minutes only once so far in the couple weeks in which I’ve been using this app...& it was very useful in correcting & ensuring no air leak...then the next night, no data till next day...surely the algorithms used are continuously run as long as new data is coming in. In other respects, this app is helpful to us.....but a real downer when data not available.

Finally working as it should. I waited for about a month to rerate this app from a one star review. After months of it working intermittently after the last update, it finally working as it should, consistently. It’s frustrating for someone who is using a medical device to improve their health to also have to worry constantly about the one way of reporting that usage in order to keep the costs manageable. It now reports within minutes instead of hours also. I will have no problem returning this to a 1 star review if it fails to keep working as it should. Thank you for getting your act together.

Pitiful support. It’s too bad that I’m stuck with this manufacturer. My insurance won’t let me switch, but if I could do it over again, I’d never buy the Resmed machine/accessories/app, and I’d stick with a different brand for sure. The machine itself doesn’t control the breathing as well as my prior one (different manufacturer). The app is a joke. Support is nonexistent, and if/when they finally answer you, they’re rude or just give you a canned cut-n-paste answer that doesn’t even come close to addressing the question. Write to them 10 times to beg them to answer the real questions you’re asking, you’ll get 10 cut-n-paste answers to questions you didn’t ask. The accessories like the masks are basically unusable. I tried them and they are a horrible design, and I end up using a different manufacturer’s mask. This is not a good company. They somehow get your doctor to recommend this one, but it’s clearly an inferior product and app.

Very slow! - Update to initial review below. I am waiting for my report for Friday and it is Sunday 11:08 AM. Needless to say, I do not have Saturday’s report yet either. When I first started using the App I received my results in an hour or two. I did not change anything on my end, what happened? UPDATE: After writing this review, I was contacted by the company stating that the technicians were able to identify my problem and were working on it. They instructed me how I was able to obtain my data in the meantime until this was completed. I feel this was excellent customer service and appreciated the rapid response.

How to get app to ignore nap and use sleep?. Just started. Respiratory therapist suggested using the CPAP while I was reading or doing something during the day to get used to it. Yesterday I did that for an hour and last night slept over 8 hours with the mask. The app only counted my “practice time.” I’m concerned as need to demonstrate compliance for insurance reimbursement. What will get reported to insurance? I hope not just the short time the app shows. The machine shows the longer sleep, why doesn’t the app? Well that is resolved The time finally showed up on the app- it takes a day or so to report it. I thought everything was working pretty well BUT don’t make me read the whole privacy notice to tell me what changed. AND make it easier for me to contact someone. I’ve been trying to contact a real person. Wore the mask. My nose felt a bit bruised. Then the area under my nose started turning red. I can’t get in for a mask fitting until January and I may lose Medicare coverage if I’m not using the machine. The skin under my nose broke down. It has been days of not wearing the mask and the skin still needs to heal. Would like to talk to someone at Resmed about options. None of the generic videos are helpful. So frustrated.

Don’t wake up!. I don’t know why this app penalizes you for staying alive and waking up. Understand why it counts how many time you take the mask off during the night but should be n-1? So if you want a higher score you should die and not take it off? The bad thing about this metric is if you have to go to the bathroom multiple times during the night; did you wake up because you can’t wear your mask or a bladder problem. I suppose if your unit is hooked to a battery power source or a long extension cord you could take the whole machine with you so you don’t have to take your mask off. Oh, don’t forget to turn off the lights before laying down and putting your mask on!

2nd cpap app used. I really like this app compared to another one I had to use previously with a different cpap. The information it gives is very useful, as it gives you an idea how well the therapy is working. I like that it has videos if needed. The set up was very easy. Also, it’s so nice that it syncs with my watch/phone and other apps in terms of tracking my physical activity, weight, etc. so that I can see how these measurements are affected by my sleep patterns. I would give the app 5 stars: however, the only complaint I have is the cleaning equipment reminder doesn’t work, no matter how many times I’ve tried resetting it. Otherwise this app is truly great!

Good App. First, these reviews are inaccurate because people are rating their machines and/or experiences with the machine. This is an app. Reviews are supposed to be for the app. This app works fine. You get the data you need. Period. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 is because they changed the app this week and I’m bummed. I just had to open it and see all the data right there. So of course they have to start messing with it. When an app works well, LEAVE IT ALONE! So the app gets 4 stars from me. However, I can’t imagine keeping it. And I can’t imagine checking it for more than a couple of months. ResMed is doing some serious stalking with the machines and app. It’s getting creepy. But good on the app. Except for that useless, awful update. That ruined it.

Stable again... I depend on this app to give me feed back, track my data, and also motivate me sometimes. It’s been stable again, the massive multi-day delays seem to have been fixed. I’m on an iPhone 13 incase other users are curious. My one complaint is that sometimes my score takes a few hours to show on my iPhone after a nights sleep with the cpap used. The interface and GUI of the application are great, it looks and feels sharp. Hope these Bluetooth delays can be fixed one day. For now I just look at the stats on the cpap machine if I really need to know how I slept. Sometimes if it’s not urgent I’ll wait to see my score and stats on the app.

Widget does not work on IPhone XR and 13 Pro Max. I like the app because you get almost immediate feedback for your previous nights sleep. I’ve been using MyAir for a few years now and the app can me help troubleshoot apnea events. I’ve noticed a few things that either increase or decrease the amount of events per night like sleeping position and elevation level. When I sleep on my back or my right side my events are much higher than sleeping on my left side. I’ve also determined sleeping with a slight elevation of the bed (15%) helps reduce events too. With all that said, the widget for iPhone has not ever worked properly. Before, the widget would actually have to be clicked for it to update and now it doesn’t update at all. When clicked it only opens the app itself.

Minimal Features. This app is useful, especially the history. However, the score needs a revamp and it needs addition features like the ability to rate how well YOU feel you slept at night. The app should be able to learn from data over time. I had to create my own google spreadsheet with trend lines and manually input settings from my machine when I was first adjusting to ASV. Why can’t the app do this for you?? It would be so easy. For example, I can get a 97+ score and still feel terrible in the morning if my apnea events were too high, or if I woke up constantly and had to take my mask off due to shallow sleep or aerophagia. The weighting system is really off. What does it matter how long you keep your mask on if the quality of sleep is bad? The app needs to help you know how to adjust your settings. The training videos are ridiculously basic as well. Why don’t they have more info about problem solving or troubleshooting? Needs a lot of work to be improved. I’ve been submitting feedback for years with no response. You could be helping a lot more people who are struggling. UI refresh is all we’ve gotten, which is laughable. Make the app more useful instead of making it look better, and you will earn my 5-star review.

Great information app EXCEPT. For the life of me, I don’t understand why the app counts taking the mask off in the morning as one mask off event. While it actually is a mask off event, it seems STUPID to count taking it off when you rise in the morning especially since it counts against you if you need to get up and pee a couple times overnight. Old men, in particular, frequently need to get up more than one time a night. So under the current programming I get docked a point for something totally UNRELATED to my sleep performance. IMHO, the last mask off event, after a minimum of six hours sleep, should be ignored as the patient waking for the day. I’m interested in the reasoning behind the decision to program the app this way.

Works Well. The app works well and is intuitive and easy to use, could definitely be improved upon a little bit though. Helps someone who is not as familiar with a CPAP work their way through it for the first time. The only thing I would recommend they change is to make it so that the usage hours only count for when you are actually asleep, and PLEASE make the machine have a pause option for if I have to go use the bathroom or turn a fan on or something. Pushing the power button makes the machine think you are ending the session, even when you aren’t, so just add a “pause” button please.

Missing Data. Data seems to always be 3-4 days behind. When you consider that all of the date is collected and stored every night, why can the data not be transmitted to the app moments after it is collected. There has to be a better way to transmit data to the app. Although the data is eventually transmitted, it shows up in history and is not as easily reviewed as it is when it’s transmitted the same day the data is collected. How about updating the app so a person can review previous days from the Home Screen vid a “back button” so the data can be seen right from the Home Screen. But this still does not resolve the slow data transfer. If I’m having multiple “ episodes” in a single evening, I want to know about it right away, not 3-4 days later.

Bad connection and horrible customer service. This app asks you to connect your phone to the device via Bluetooth, but the data from your sleep is not transmitted to your phone via Bluetooth. It is transmitted via cellular service, according to the app’s customer service. If you attempt to refresh the dashboard screen, the app does nothing, giving you a false sense of connection between the app and the machine. I have emailed customer service with questions 5 times now and they are unable to answer any of them, instead they just copy and paste responses from their website. I live in a well populated area with excellent cell service and absolutely no other data related issues, but sometimes I have to wait more than 24 hours after a night’s sleep to receive any of my data to my phone.

Exactly what does this app do?. The app is actually pretty good and gives you good information, when it receives information to display!!! The app allegedly connects to the machine via Bluetooth - but all the data that is necessary to make the app functional is transmitted into the cloud (somewhere) via a cellular chip inside the CPAP machine. So although the iPhone and the CPAP machine are connected to each other via Bluetooth - they apparently do not exchange any information whatsoever. So if you are in a situation with a poor cellular signal and your CPAP machine does not regularly transmit its data into the cloud - then the app (which again, is connected to the CPAP machine via Bluetooth) displays no data whatsoever. This makes no sense.

Not bad needs improvements. I like the app, I like the concept that allows me daily access to the information, it seems reasonably accurate, and I like the machine and the mask I’m using works for me ....as a long time and successful CPAP user who has had several brands over the years ...more than 20 years this is my best experience. My concern is you don’t seem to realize the value of your app to patients and the potential for partnering with a sleep app company. You also need to make your results available faster after use of the equipment. It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. Understanding that you’re fully in the app business now too and focusing on that business too will help business and your patients. Innovate people ....don’t just set there.

Missing data. I have been using this app since the end of February of this year. If I were to give it a star rating the first 4 months I used the ap, it would be a 5. It was very quick to update on a daily basis so I was able to see my scores. Than the ap started saying that the data is there but will take a few days to see it on MyAir. For the past 7 days I keep getting a message that I have missing data. I even received an email stating you haven’t received any data from my machine lately and you wanted to know if I am still using my cpap machine. I have gone through all the checklist for this error message. Everything on my end is running properly. There has been only one night that I was unable to use my machine in the past 5-1/2 months of receiving it. Very frustrated with this ap that I was told by my medical supply provider to download to help with my progress while getting used to my machine.

Misleading low scores confuse Doctors and patients. This score and data is inaccurate and VERY misleading - and can harm the patient by preventing doctors from understanding the situation properly. For instance: I often have the mask on but am not actually asleep. I wake up - alert and aware and stay awake awhile. My Apple Watch knows I am awake and records when I am awake vs. asleep. Resmed gives my Dr. a misleading low event count (4-5) - and then she believes I slept and had fewer episodes while sleeping. The data collected is flawed because it includes wake time in the event time used to calculate the “per hour” average. However, when I actually get to sleep a few consecutive hours, my events are high (30’s). Please add an option for those of us with Apple Watch data to monitor when we are awake and then subtract that wake time from the time the mask is on. Hope that helps.

MyAir has good stats but generic comments for scores. Details are not displaying as I type. The app tracks nightly stats well. It does not recognize how to include naps during the day. It always has the same comments on scores. It does not process history to know that high scores have been consistent and when a low score happens for a good reason, it just comments something like: just keep trying to improve. It would be helpful to have further details about the stats like mask leaking, and the number of issues or events per hour and what that means. I use it almost every day to check the stats and I like having access to my nightly patterns.

App stinks. This app stinks! Every few days, it prompts for the password to be put in again. After positioning the mask the same pretty much every night, it determines for itself whether or not it thinks I did everything according to the way it should be. I would NEVER recommend this app to anyone wondering whether it will accurately give a good determination of whether a cpap machine is working correctly. Update: after using this app for a full 9 months, I have absolutely nothing good to say. If I get up during the middle of the night to take medication, I take my mask off and usually put it on before 5 minutes have passed. No matter what time I take it off, that is what this jackass app uses to determine the number of hours of sleep I have received (inaccuracy at its finest). Obviously the maker of this app cares NOTHING about true accuracy. Disappointed to the max!!

App is not collecting CPAP machine data. I’m glad I’m not the only person who is having issues with the app not recording my CPAP machine data. This has been going on for four days (as of today, Tuesday June 6, 2023). My provider charges the full price for the machine if I do not use it for four days out of month. I called my provider, and they *do* have the data from my CPAP machine for the past several days (I have been on this treatment for six months and my record is pretty good). Even so, I do not want to get billed an arm and a leg for an app-related software bug while using my machine as instructed. Please get this fixed ASAP. Edit: the bug was eventually fixed, but as of today (Sunday, July 30, 2023) it’s missing the past two nights of data. I know I’ve been using it; my CPAP machine is recording my usage, but the app is not. Please fix.

No Confidence in the Data. The other day I turned on the machine to go to bed. After about 30 minutes I got up because I couldn't sleep. I looked my sleep view and it said I was having 25 events an hour. I tried to reset it before going back to bed but I couldn't figured out how. When I woke up the next morning it said I had 7 an hour, so it must average out the run time to come up with the events per hour. So the data includes the events before you get to sleep. There should be a way to reset it or be able to start the counting an hour after the machine starts. It can't be accurate unless you put your mask on and press start exactly when you fall asleep. For people with sleep disorders, it could take a long time to get to sleep.

Useless App 😡. I don’t know what is going on with ResMed and the MyAir app developers, but you really need to get it together to fix the bug issue or data delay issues with CPAP machines. This has gone on for a week now since the update! How long do we have to wait until we can get some results or a replay from the developers? I am a very patient person, but a week is too long to be patient. Like others, I rely on this data to ensure I am sleeping correctly and comfortably. I also rely on this data to see what improvements I need to make. Without this data, this app is pretty much useless in my opinion. With this data delay, do you all think about the CPAP users you are affecting? Fix the issues or just go back to the old version before the update. Sounds like a easy fix to me. Until you are able to get the bugs fixed for the new version.

5/5, but needs a comment box on each day. Love the app. I like how I can look at the report and know exactly where I am with my sleep regimen. Like.. did I have a day where I didn’t use it or I had a day where I slept much more etc. it does what it is supposed to do and the sleep score is the best part. It breaks it down as to how that score was created and what I do impacts that or better that catagory. My one recommendation is that there needs to be a comment box on each date. Now, you would NOT have to use the box, but in case there is a situation that should arise where my sleep is impacted.. then I could leave a note for my doctor. Nothing long. Just maybe a space for 80 characters or so..

Helpful information. I find the information this app provides very helpful for tracking my CPAP usage. The feedback is helping me maintain a better sleep cycle, which gives a lot of benefits. My doctor can obtain more detailed information, but what this app provides to me is more than sufficient for me to monitor my usage on a daily basis. It has helped me to recognize and correct some issues like sleeping in a position that knocked my mask a kilter and caused leaks. Reading the reviews it seems some folks have connectivity issues. I would recommend you try it for yourself and see how it works for you. Personally, I find it very helpful and look at it daily.

Appreciative Old Timer. I have been on a bipap machine for 25 + years. This is my third bipap unit and the first one with telemetry. Until now I had no way of knowing how well or how poorly I was sleeping. I could gauge the quantity of sleep, but not the quality of sleep. Not only can I do both more accurately with the app, but I can print out the results and take a copy to my pulmonologist. This resulted in him changing my pressures due to the number of episodes I was having. He also told his respiratory therapist to fit me with a better mask to handle the higher pressures. None of these improvements would have been possible if I had not had the feedback from the telemetry app. Gratefully yours, Don Herron

App is frustrating. The machine works well and it helps me get better sleep. The doctors and suppliers of the machine stress how important it is to use the machine correctly and consistently to get better sleep. The app is to help you improve the quality of the treatment so you can get the best benefit from the machine. It tells you if you had a good deal or if you took the mask off too many times. They encourage you to use the app to learn where you can improve. And you need to use it if your insurance is to continue paying for it. You start checking daily to see how you scored. Then all of a sudden, it stops showing data. Don’t panic, the app assures you the data is not lost. It just isn’t showing it. You check back again and nothing is reported. Then it reminds you that it hasn’t received data for some time. No kidding. The App is a piece of crap.

Questionable accuracy. I have been using this app with a new machine for almost two months. If one area is way off, I have to question the validity of rest of the information. Although this may be minor to some, it gives me pause. For the past 1 1/2 months, I have been dealing with a health issue that causes me to frequently remove my mask during the night (as many as 8 times). Each time I remove it, it is off for at least 60 seconds. The app never states the correct number of times that my mask is off. Last night, I had to take it off, at least, 5 times and the app says “2.” This happens every morning, and it makes me question whether the other information is correct.

Has issues. I agree with other reviewers who say the device needs to be more helpful. I can add that the error message that always greets you when you open the app, telling you that the server isn’t responding, when in fact it is, is irritating. Also, if you also own a Resmed travel CPAP machine and register them both with Resmed, you’d reasonably expect Resmed to combine the data of both together for insurance purposes. (Insurance won’t pay for a new home one when it breaks if you’ve used it for less than 70% of the time.) Resmed doesn’t even report the travel device’s data to my doctor! So any nights you spend traveling don’t count for insurance purposes. This could be quite dangerous if one travels a lot but can’t afford to buy one’s own device because Resmed stupidly refused to include the sleep data during travel in their insurance report. Again, this is an easy fix, but Resmed isn’t doing anything about it. I’ve notified Resmed of these problems multiple times over a period of more than a year, but they refuse to fix these obvious and easily fixed problems. Indeed, Resmed’s tech support is spectacularly bad. It is physically impossible to get hold of a human, email yields no response at all. You should consider another company’s devices and apps. Other companies have solved these simple problems.

Doesn’t work well for day sleepers. This app can’t be modified or adjusted to for the user’s real life. I am a day sleeper. So when I go to bed at 8 AM the app is confused. Sometimes it adds my sleep to the previous day’s sleep. Sometimes it starts a new day. Sometimes it skips recording entirely! I have days that it shows I slept 12 hours. And many more days it shows I slept 2 hours. All are incorrect. I often sleep some hours and have to get up to go to the bathroom, or to let the dog out, or to answer the phone, and when I restart my machine the app gets totally messed up!! I wish I was able to tell it my sleeping hours. Or alternatively I would like to be able to move sleeping segments where they are supposed to be.

2021 not 1990. I also heard many people’s concerns about the terrible cellular device you use to connect to the celular provider. Just like you sell all this additional accessories you should be able to offer a Wifi attachment to make old units access servers via Wifi. I live in the middle of a major metropolitan area. My T- mobile phone (same as my machine) get full bars reception while the machine gets one bar (horrible). It’s been 4 days with out a server connection and the SD card defeats the purpose of this app and us sharing all our private information with your company with every account. Also the auto brightness is so annoying specially when you want to see the display at night. I do like many features of your product specially not being as noisy as other machines in the market. Let’s go RestMed

Data needs to be “patient centric”. Others have mentioned this also, but I’ll repeat it. Resmed collects the data per machine. Period. In my case, I have an AirSense 10 at two different homes and a travel Mini. The data collected for these three machines is not aggregated by the Resmed cloud servers. It is logged per machine. So when I stay at one home or the other, I have to remember to manually change my equipment in the app in order to have the data collected. When I travel, the data for the Mini is stored on a completely different app with no chance of aggregation. This shows the software design teams had the wrong mandate or just a bad sense of how these machines might be used in the real world. The data model used for the database design does not reflect the real world. Otherwise, I think the app is pretty ok. I’ve used it since 2015.

Helpful data. Cpap user for many, many years, started back when the masks hurt and there was no humidity, got a new machine and mask many years ago and with humidity and a mask that didn’t cause pain every night things improved a lot. Now after getting another new machine with the daily updates and this app I find that my mask was leaking badly, after looking into why it turns out my mouth was opening during the night and without this app and a smarter machine I had no idea just how bad it was. Got a chin strap and my sleep is much better and leak reports are now gone. Great update, good data. Thanks! Would love to see an iPad version of the app so I don’t have to turn my ipad on it’s side to look at the data.
