Fun challenge. Definitely hits the fundamentals. Excited to see what else gets added. Maybe some celestial navigation?

Fun & useful. This is useful and good mental exercise as well! Fun game and very good for practicing principles of docking, points of sail, maneuvering, and ATONs. Most er, inspiring (I guess you’d say), is the crunching sound just before your boat sinks! Love it although it seems to be bring out the sociopath sailor in me! Calling my therapist now.

Good, but could be better. I grew up sailing regularly. I have been on a sailboat once in the last 25 years, but still remember the basics. I downloaded the app because my wife and I have decided to buy a sailboat and figured I’d use this to start relearning the basics. It has worked well. But I’d enjoy a variety of points of view. A cockpit view of that beautiful Beneteau would be wonderful. Grabbing a sheet near the winch would be preferable to a slider on the side of the screen. If they ever get that done, this would be 6/5 stars.

Surprisingly challenging!. I was surprised by both the level of complexity and difficulty and also by the sophisticated quality of graphics and the number of real-life variables brought to life. Bravo, ASA!

Enjoyable and a good review. Fun game, responsive. This has been a good way to brush up on many basic skills. Increases my confidence, a good way to practice if you haven’t sailed in while. Wish the controls could be made bigger on the screen, my thumbs aren’t super dexterous.

Fun refresher for my sailing class. My husband and both took the basic sailing class after we bought our boat. As I do most of the steering, the challenges are a great way for me to practice when we’re off the water. Also it’s a lot of fun to intentionally “crash”

Great Start, could use more material. Honestly very good with getting to understanding tacking/jibing and points of sail. Would be awesome if they incorporated a section identifying lines (which line does what and how they affect a sail) on the boat and boat anatomy, knots and buoys in channels. Engine parts as well and so on. Great start to the app but incorporating a lot more that's in the books would be amazing and great general knowledge.

Great teaching tool! Worth it. Father of two ages 10 and 12. I haven't sailed in 25 years or so and just got a hold of an old 25' cruising boat. This has been a fun for he boys and taught my 10 year old his points of sail in half an hour. This is a good platform that will hopefully continue to offer more and more features.

Learning to sail, fun app!. I’ve sailed a few times and always remember very little, this app is helping me to remember and learn terminology and wind riding techniques. Its deceptively easy to leave the sail in one position and tack back and forth, it’s harder in real life cause you have to redial the position in each time. Very fun and easy to understand lessons

Cool Game but I Also Learned A Lot!!. I downloaded this awesome game on the request of Riley from YouTubes Sailing LaVagabone!! He told us all about the game and I was totally interested!! I downloaded the game and was su surprised at how much I was learning after only a few short moments!! Great game and so challenging I just want to figure out how to get all the stars and beat all my times!!!

Skills. This is an excellent way to keep your skill level up until you can get back on the water.

Worth the price. Overall, pretty engaging as an instructional app to learn the basics of sailing in tandem with the Asa101 course. One bug in the advanced points of sale module that I wrote the devs about, other than that the graphics are good and UI is intuitive (although being able to choose which side the wheel vs trim controls are located would be cool). Having a sailing race would be a pretty cool future feature. But as is, quite engaging.

Pretty good. I've not yet sailed (for real). I'm looking to get into sailing, and this is a decent "basic" app. Wish there were a way to add a jib & spinnaker so that I can see how trimming more than one sail effects the boat at different wind angles. Maybe a separate choice to sail a catamaran, as I understand there are some noticeable differences.

Practice Sailing Anywhere. This app is a great way to practice the mental side of sailing. Running through the various drills helps make concepts like points of sail or correct sail trim become second nature. It would be nice to have a man overboard drill in here!

Dockside Curmudgeon. Fun & intuitive. Been sailing approx 60 years. Good way to pass the Covid-19 shelter in place with morning coffees. Much better than Solitaire! (Enjoy the apps catamaran tiller mode as I have had both a Hobie 16 & 18 with the “Cat Fever” sail colors)

Great Training. The combination of sailing a Sunfish (in class), a Soling 1M remote control model, and this app will bring my grandson through the learning curve rapidly. He is 12 years old. The only minor issue is not having a more positive control that you would get with joy sticks.

Excellent tool for the beginner sailor!. Purchased this app for my wife to learn "points of sail" and to become more comfortable with maneuvering a sailboat and positioning its sails. Provides a good "crawl, walk, run" simulation for new sailors. Also is a good tool for novice sailors to sharpen their skills and for refresher training.

It’s a lot of fun, and educational too!. I only give it 4/5 because I’d like see some different sail types included in the app. Most sloops have a jib and rolling that in and out would help improve the experience.

Set sail with this app!. This app is a great starter for anyone wanting to learn the ins and outs of sailing. Even if all you're doing is watching a sailing event on TV, this app will help you understand what the participants are doing and give you greater appreciation for the sport. The modules are set up well and progressively teach the basics. I have a little trouble with the trim and helm controls, but younger users should do much better than this old fart! I have been sailing for years and can say this app is a great and inexpensive way to get your feet wet and learn whether sailing is for you. Just do it!

All about money. I’ve had this app a while and over time they keep putting more and more restrictions on it to where it is pointless to have without having to not only purchase the app but purchase all the in-app purchases. Basically you are limited to one boat and 1mph sailing speed until you spend more money…after just purchasing the app. Why not just charge more for the app and include it all. Plan on spending more than the app to make it useful.

Great supplement to Basic Sailing Made Easy. It’s one thing to read about sailing but you’ll never learn sailing without being on a boat and applying the principles your learned in the book. This is simulation learning and in some ways better than on the water training since you have time to think and there is no pressure. The book and this simulation prepares the student for on the water sailing much more than than either one alone. These are synergistic and I praise ASA for developing an outstanding app. ASA, I hope a more robust full computer based sailing simulation will be forthcoming.

Living room sailing. Time on the water is not always available. This is a great way for myself and my son to keep up on the basics and challenge each other. Also a great way to show and explain how sailing works to a never sailed passenger on your boat so they can get in on the action quicker their first time on the water. Great app. Thank you!!!

Awesome app with lots of potential.... Great app to help a beginner get a feel for how to sail. Would love to see more docking scenarios- higher difficulty, etc. also would love to see other higher level teaching tools- when you get in irons, reversing with full rudder to get out of it; man overboard drills; racing tips, etc. Awesome app otherwise.

A must for new sailors. Before you can become a better sailor, you have to know the language of sailing. This app is a helpful tool. Certainly better to learn the terminology in your idle time onshore than once you’re already underway.

Pretty Cool Review - nice interface. Cool overall. Haven’t sailed in quite awhile but it all started coming back after using the App. Please consider adding other modules and quizzes; parts of the ship and terminology, navigation (compass heading - bearing, gps nav markers on maps), safety, etc.

So good!. I am learning so much from this app it is not laggy at all I definitely recommend

Very helpful. Great to review all the nautical terms and right of way rules from ASA certification course. When sailing, quick decisions are needed sometimes to avoid other boats or obstacles and this app helps in making the decision second nature. Also going over points of sail names helps so when people at club are talking port beam reaches and starboard close hauls, my newbie self isn't holding my arms out trying to remember points of sale terms.

Green here. All I know about sailing is that this app is the truth. This app poses sailing as an experience that can be learned and also enjoyed through the app. Thank you for this app.

More material, more tests please!. A great review of the skills I learned during my ASA certification. Would love to see an expanded version that would help me keep my skills sharp while being a landlubber.

Learning to sail during quarantine. I was hoping to start introductory sailing classes during this quarter of college but stay-at-home orders cancelled all of the upcoming classes. I have been very excited to learn and didn’t want to put it on hold. So, I got a few books and this app to teach myself the basics while at home. This app runs smooth, it has a simple design free of distractions, and, most importantly, it teaches you what sailing is all about. It has fun quizzes on terminology and fairly difficult course challenges to test your ability to maneuver. Thank you for the app. I let has allowed me to gain a sense of what it’s like to sail!

Types water conditions. Wish there were open water scenarios

Great, missing key lesson. Love this app, great add-on to the basic keel boat course I’m taking right now. The only thing I wish this app had was a sailboat terminology lesson. A 3D setup of a sailboat with a vocabulary word match game would be immensely helpful. Confused as to why this was left out because of how important it is. They recently updated the app so I have hope that it will continue to improve

A good start to learning concepts. I completed sailing classes when I was in scouting. This was ~18 years ago, I’m interested in taking my family out on sailing adventures so I’m brushing up on sailing. I do like the game, the sounds our very relaxing. I would like to see a larger selection of boats and more elements in the virtual world. Some thoughts would be birds, smoke, more boats moving near you, and marker buoys for wave-point racing. While I agree docking under sail is a list skill, many larger boats are easier to bring in under motor power, training this as a skill would aalso be helpful. (Wind and other boats to weave around)

Fun educational and exasperating. At first it's like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time but you quickly catch on and really groove in some sailing reactions. Fun and helpful to someone learning to sail. Really helps you to visualize various points of sail and their relative efficiency. I would like to see gauges with true and apparent wind speed to help me learn how tweaking the trim will effect those elements and boat speed at various points...that may be overwhelming for a beginner but would help as one learns. I would also like to be able to go back and repeat within modules without having to start all over Regardless, I'm enjoying it very much!

A couple notes. While I do think this game is amazing not only at teach the basics of sailing but is also just a downright fun game. I have two thing I would like to see improved. For one I’d like to see the in app purchases gone, I already paid for the app I’m not gonna pay more for basic things like wind variations. Second I’d like to see a first person view option, personally I think it helps with immersion. Which could help with learning

Nice but buggy. Some early challenges don't work. Supposed to click on various parts of the screen to answer questions but the app isn't responding. Must be a bug. Please fix!

Great way to learn!. I'm new to the sailing world and this app has been helpful. The recent updates have made it better by adding more features and more options to use.

Confusing lessons - serious errors in app. First lesson teaches one thing and illustrates another: incorrectly picturing that the right side of the boat as Port/red, and the left side as Starbord/green. I’m new to sailing, but even I know that when facing the bow/front, the Port side of the boat faces left and Starbord is right. As you continue and are asked to label the points of sail, all the points are also mislabeled their opposites, right and left.

Best sailing practice app yet. I consider myself a sailing enthusiast, but was a little bit rusty. It’s app lets me practice and learn all without having to schedule time with an instructor to learn the basics. Love this app!

If you are completely new to sailing.... And by new I mean from a land locked state and the closest you’ve gotten to a sailboat is lake “whatever” near your hometown where you might see a handful of smaller sailboats on occasion but only at a distance this app is great for running over some fundamental basics of how wind works upon a sail, which in turn explains how your sailboat moves under different sail orientations. As well as the very basic idea of right of way, and docking under sail power only which way more people sailing should be used to doing imo. The app I definitely worth the cost of a Starbucks for this knowledge in an easy to understand and repeatable way to practice. Over time I’m sure it will receive even more polish through feedback. But if you just want to dip your toe into the water as it were and learn some very basic concepts and ideas it’s worth it, plus it gives you a nice way to kill time stuck at an airport or in a cab ride while you are having basic concepts repeatedly drilled into your brain until it’s second nature. I’m very encouraged by ASA’s embracing of technology to teach new folks. Videos, apps, etc. well done ASA!

Great tool!. This was recommended to me a few months ago, and I finally got it. Why did I wait so long?!?! This is a wonderful teaching tool and great way to learn all of the complicated aspects of sailing. I already feel better equipped!

Very helpful for a first-timer. I'm planning to sail for the first time in about 2 weeks. Ive spent many years using small motor boats and don't plan to spend several hundred dollars taking classes to learn to sail the $500 used sailboat I bought. I've read lots of information and watched a bunch of videos so I thought I had a grasp on the basics from a technical standpoint. This app actually put my knowledge to the test much better than I expected and while I'm probably still going to struggle a bit, I'm going to be way more prepared after getting some feel for the wind and sail reaction. I might provide an update after I take my maiden voyage if I'm still alive.

Fun with a catch. I love sailing so when I saw this was available o got it right away. And I was happy to pay a couple bucks to get it. I don’t use this a ton but I like it every now and then. But then you have to pay for every extra feature in the app, like different boats or variable wind - and it just feels like they are trying to squeeze every last penny out of this, which is so silly. I really wish they would get rid of that model. If I pay outright for an app, I expect to get full access, not partial.

Love this. Really great for learning and also killing time sailing. My ask would be that more free sailing options be available (as in I’d like to just sail around and experience the scenery rather than hit the required waypoints).

Limited and Tedious. This program has potential, but it is extremely limited. If you want an app to help improve your sailing knowledge, this is NOT that app. There is simulated sailing which gets old and timed courses which are completely arbitrary. Also, there are some bugs where it will not start and stop as expected. I really expected more from A.S.A. and am very disappointed. This might be okay as a free app, but when your paying for the app, it is not worth it at all.

Best educational app, best used on iPad tho. Plus: Very good educational app, the method used helps drill the basics and undeniably improved our experience on the water. No better training app that I can find on the stores. Con: menu controls are too finicky on an iPhone, expects a pixel perfect response for the tests which becomes an annoying distraction when using an iPhone. For fingers larger than a 10yo, best experienced on an iPad. Otherwise UX should expand the control size or expand the regions on the controls for correct answers.

Great learning aid for novice sailors. I just finished the first two ASA sailing courses 101, 103 and this app is helping me ‘practice’ the many new concepts I encountered. The visualizations are great and the animations really help make bring the concepts to life. I love the game aspect as well... it’s absorbing, fun and helpful. Glad this app exists. I want to commit these sailing concepts to memory a bit more before doing my first solo sail, and this app is helping.

Trouble with the terminology?. I’ve sailed since i was 9 but could never wrap my head around the terminology so i really learned how to sail by feel. That works well on a lake in a dinghy, but now that I’m looking at a big boat for coastal cruising and getting certified that isn’t enough. This is the best way I’ve found to really “get it”. And it’s fun.

Multiplayer version needed. Great app. It goes over the basics of sailing and great for asa 101. The only thing missing is an online multiplayer version of sailing. That will help new sailors learn tacking/jibing and right of ways in real time. Would be great if you guys can add that feature.

To expensive for what is offered. App is nice in graphics but don’t justify the price. I got it based on friend recommendation but I already regret it... Even I tried to buy an additional boat to see if new features appear and nothing happened. The challenges are repetitive... answer the questions faster... not really additional knowledge.

Really interactive!. I think this app is by far the best and most engaging app I have found to help me with basic sailing that I need right now. I thank-you and I’m very much grateful for the hard work. I cannot get out on a boat these days and so it’s a sturdy refresher for me to study. Please don’t go away!!

I love it!. Hey guys I’m quite new but not that new to sailing I love this app because it has every thing you need to know hopefully on your next update you will include some more maps and stuff. Kind regards Bailey sailing Tasmania

Awesome. This is fantastic for newby to sailing

Less of a game, more of a simulator. The app is a good tool for learning the terminology and basic sailing technique, and the sailing simulation is realistic enough and quite satisfying. I'm thankful it doesn't have advanced multiplayer capability and more gamification otherwise I'd be terribly addicted.

American sailing Academy. Won't load very disappointed

Brilliant. Great learning experience 😎😀👏🏻😋🤩✅🤙👍🌈❤️

Good summary of the basic concepts in an engaging format.. Should give people a mental picture of what's required in different situations.

Awesome. Great refresher and learner

Boring. Limited play super simple

Crashes. The first few modules worked without an issue, but now the App is constantly crashing. This is very annoying.

It’s hard! Just like sailing!. This app is as close to sailing as you can get with an app. You have to helm and trim at the same time. What got me was how you can see the gusts coming and the boat will respond to them and start lifting just like real life.

The perfect app for teaching crew the basics. I'm going to make completing these modules pre-requisites to sailing my boat, it's so good!

Neat!. Very good pocket sailing simulator. Teaches fundamental skills that can be practiced and applied on a sail boat. Great for beginners!

Best learning app. Hi everyone, just wanted to comment the team on a fantastic app. They have really nailed every aspect of teaching points of sail in a practical aspect. By far the best app on the App Store if you are considering learning sailing and want to understand sail positioning. Well done to the developers lots of time spent on getting it right!

Easy great little app!. Was surprised , really happy everything works. Simple to use, and great reminder.

Not to be under valued!. I’ve found this app great in helping me learn to sail. I was most impressed after letting my 10year old daughter play the game of sailing around a few times because when I finally took her sailing months later she had an amazing grasp of rudder abd sail positions relative to the wind purely from the game; theory parts excluded!! I actually think this has potential to be even better!

Fun and instructional. Been Sailing for 5 years but still leaned a bit from this game. Works fine on my iPad but I wish there were more then 2 races. Also, be nice to save my best times.

Not shareable. We bought it only because it was shareable among our family sharing plan. Well it isn’t. It was purchased on the main person’s phone but it was the rest of the family that needed it and now we can’t use it. Very disappointed!

Love it !. As I am learning how to sail and one day possibly crossing the Atlantic, it is imperative for me to learn the points of sail. These tests are helping quite a bit, and every single time I am free I will try to master them. Thank you ASA

Brilliant. Great review of terms, skill and fun.

This is great during the winter. A very realistic sailing app. The tutorials are good, too.

Crashes. With any sailing and simulation background this is a waste of your money. The island cruise crashes on my iPad mini. Very slow loading. Suggestions- fix bugs. Have more content. Have a tiller steering option I've payed to be a beta tester ....not good

Love it!. Great app and review to remember your basics.

Very realistic. This app is the most realistic that I have found for practising ceiling. I really enjoy it, there’s lots of variety, and the theory test keep me on my toes!

Needs more content. I was slightly disappointed by the lack of content in this app. As mentioned in other reviews, this app does not take very long to complete. Suggestions for future updates: -Anchoring -reefing/reducing sail area -lee helm/weather helm -navigation -catamaran sailing option -motorsailing -sailing with waves -capsize in excessive wind -practice mode with conditions such as windspeed and direction to be decided/changed by user

Learned the extra I did not catch in class. I took my first sailing course this summer and I found this app a lot of fun it is like sailing. I do not know if there are any other apps on sailing out there. For the price I found it reasonable. The contents was very good.

Good refresher. Very high level coverage of sailing basics Should have been a 99c app though

Sweet!. Great to earn the basics!

Excellent for beginners to build a wider foundation. …and frankly I’m very happy that the developers using a Beneteau. It’s the perfect boat for a simulation: you hit a boat, you sink. Even hitting a buoy, you sink. So authentic, just brilliant.

ASA need to push the content. First off disproportionately costly for what "we" can get for similar dollar value. Anchoring, storm simulation, points of a compass challenges, applications of knots and the list goes on. I would encourage a beefing up of the potential our sport offers. Sailing boats and design identification, night lights identification and travel. There is a lot of real potential here and in this day and age you have the opportunity to be the definitive go to app. What does exist is great for beginners. I would encourage Beneteau to take some initiative in working with you (ASA) in take this app to the next level.

Bait and switch. If you don't buy the in app purchases you get VERY limited game play.

Good refresher for seasonal sailors. Should have my Laser in the water next month. This game gets me back into the swing after being off the water for half the year. Lots of fun!

Good beginners’ practice tool. The points of sail tests are quite helpful for beginners. The sailing simulation is basic, but enough to practice some trimming fundamentals and rudimentary navigation. Overall, a useful app for new sailors, but one they will quickly (hopefully) outgrow.

Cute but overpriced. This game is cute but gets boring pretty quick and definitely not worth the price.

Lovely graphics, light on content. I teach sailing theory and I was excited about the prospect of this app. Unfortunately, a great idea trickled away somewhere in the creative process. Being brutally honest, for a pricey product from a highly respected group, the American Sailing Association, this is content light. It would take no more than an hour or two for any beginner to absorb the 'modules'. A good effort has been made to engage users with excellent animations and graphics, but, ultimately, this will disappoint anyone genuinly interested in learning to sail or to improve their understanding of sail theory and practice.

Completely inaccessible. This sounds like a great app to get some training for a blind sailor like myself. Unfortunately, nothing in this app is accessible to voiceover.

Decent. Not bad. But only took about 45 min to get through. How about some additional content. Maybe a capsize element to the free sail. Pricey for what you get. I would've expected more.

Points of Sail. Love this exercise. Helps me realize my weak points in sailing

Fantastic. This is the fastest way to learn the fundamentals without a sailboat.

Complete waste of money.. Too basic to be educational or fun. They want you pay extra for every little thing like turning on variable winds. Give me a break. Shameful.

Save your money. Way too basic to be entertaining. I would not consider this a tool to aid in learning to sail. Really annoying after paying fee to play there’s another fee to see different sea states. Why pay more if the current value can’t be seen.

Not only a game, great training. The app give you the opportunity to learn and understand the wind, speed, point-of-sail, maneuvering. Great start for the sailor to be.

Beginner. Just got a small cat sailboat a few weeks ago. This app has really helped!

My so loves it. My son learnt so much and had fun. I recommend it.

Phoenix. Just bought a 33 Morgan Outlander as very 1st sailboat. While sims don't match hands on, I now have an idea of how my sails should fly. Great app to assist in the whole sailing process.

Curious about the basics of sailing. I got this app because I was curious about the basic concepts of sailing. This app does a great job of explaining and teaching and it is also very fun. :)

Excellent game. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoy sailing in this game. Only bad thing is that the app crashes when navigating through the menu but otherwise brilliant app!

Learned a lot. Fun stuff and educational.

Very good!. I’ve been sailing for over 40 years this is the best learning tool I have ever come across.

Constantly Crashes.. It’ll open and crash. If I open it again it will get a little further into the app and crash again. It used to work but it doesn’t any longer. I checked for an update and even tried resetting my iPhone.

New to Sailing. I've been trying to understand the basics of sailing. This app is really helpful in learning the rudimentary rules.

App reverses port and starboard!. When facing the bow, starboard is to the right, and port is to the left, above the equator, and below it. In Europe, Australia, New Zealand, North and South America, and everywhere else on the planet. In every book on sailing, right is starboard and left is port. But not this app. Incredible. Frustrating.

Love it. So great for learning and playing

Wow. Not worth $4. Extremely basic simulator. You learn how to steer the boat, dock and right of way traffic. There is nothing about specific parts of the boat and how they work like jib, shroud, painter, dagger board, or even basic necessary docking sailing knots to know. If you are planning to use this to learn the basics of sailing go somewhere else. This should be free.

Incredible App. Just simply outstanding!!!!!

Excellent way to learn the rules and trim. Very easy to use and interacts well

Font size. Please make font size slightly larger so it is readable on the phone screen. For example: font size showing boat/true/apparent wind speed in apparent wind exercise is unnecessary small.

Simple and effective. Very simple and easy app, teaches the basics of wind and trimming.

Gamy is a good review for i don’t quite remember!. As steady as solitaire and more fun.

Buggy, freezes, tedious to control. Great concept but the app is very buggy and the controls are tedious / difficult, requiring pinpoint fingertip accuracy. Not worth $4.

Brilliant app!. This app is a must have for new sailors or even those that hesitate on common terms and points of sail. This app give user great practice!

Great app!. Really helped me visualize everything I read in ASA101. Almost necessary for someone with no experience. Really beat the vessel direction and sail trim into me!

Using to teach the wife. I think this is a great app to teach the basics of sailing and concepts to beginners.

Names of riggings/parts of sails/boat. Great app, but I’d really like to see a module teaching and testing all the names/terms for the different parts of the sail, boat, etc.

Good lessons. Great app. Helps me learn to sail better.

Best sailing app out here. Super easy. Gives loads of info, this app isn’t just a toy

Just so dang fun. Love testing have fast I can answer the questions or sail the courses... love, love, love it.

Great for kids and newbies. Good way to learn terms and basics allowing you to visualize what you'll do on the water.

Great app for beginners. Provides the basics, terms and means of practicing before taking sail to water.

Buggy garbage, save your money!. Buggy garbage, should be free but it’s not and they nickel and dime you, just like every other ASA product. No refunds, even for a lousy app. You should be ashamed of yourselves and take up power boating!

Port side on the right?. Port (red) is on your left , standing in the boat facing towards the bow, and starboard (green) is on the right.. this game has port on the right, and starboard on the left

Good introduction to sailing. This is very enjoyable introduction to sailing . Learning the points of sale and trimming the boat come naturally after using this app.

Looked so promising!. This is a fun app, however, the description leads you to believe that there are multiple boats, dolphins, etc. and there are....for an additional fee! This is a $.99 app at best and takes about 20 minutes to experience all of the content. Regretting spending $3.99 :(

A great supplement to ASA course. The app allows you to better understand points of sail and sail trimming to reinforce what you learn on the boat. Well done!

App blacks out. The app is a great learning tool, but it keeps shutting down to a black screen.

Almost like sailing. I sailed 30 footers at Channel Islands in California. This would have helped. It’s easy to use.

Don’t buy it if you have an iPhone X. Can’t quit the app without crashing your phone... they know it. So basically I paid for a defective app and nobody cares

Fun!!. Great way to keep the skills sharp when the workload won't let me sail.

1 major problem. i would have given the app a full 5 stars if it wasn’t for the port & starboard being flipped. this is not a minor problem, it interferes with the controls. i’m not the first person to complain about this and i’m surprised it hasn’t been addressed; especially since this is not a free app. it’s a shame because this could be a great app. as it stands, i’m using it but warning others so they know what they’re paying for.

Love This. I bought a sailboat this last fall. By spring with the help of this app was able to start sailing with confidence.

Fun too!. Great for learning basic lingo and etiquette. Ideal for veggie ramen and someone interested in sailing

Great Job on the physics.. This app does a great job modeling sailboat physics. Very useful.

1st attempt at Sailing consideration. Think I am hooked and ready to go play on the real water!

Amazing. An incredible app. It is so useful and such a fun way to learn and practice. Get it.

Better than I expected!. Really great for practicing scenarios with different wind directions. Fun too!

Great refresher. Love this app. It’s a great refresher for when it’s been a couple months since the last sail and I need some reminders.

Can’t control the headsail?. For $5 with a monohull, it’s not worth it. Hardly realistic if you can only trim one sail. And it would be nice to know how much weather helm you are introducing ( I know that’s hard to calculate but some general behavior would have been nice.
