Garbage app. I don’t know what the deal was, maybe it was my phone but I doubt it because other tuning apps work fine. This thing cannot tune a guitar I’m better off doing it by ear and I can’t tune by ear. The custom setting does not work, it refuses to hear some of the notes you’re trying to and attempts to tune to a different string and changes the note automatically, and then it’s extremely inaccurate. I got frustrated, gave up, went back to standard tuning and switched over to a different app and just standard tuning was completely off. I wasted 2 hours of my precious day off trying to get this hot garbage to do the bare minimum, thank god I didn’t give you people any money.

BROKE MY STRING. This app is a shame to the fender brand. I had just got my bass guitar in the mail and was excited to start playing. I downloaded the tuner app as was suggested in their online tutorials. I became very frustrated when i first started using it. It kept telling me I was playing g when I was playing e and the same with other strings. When it finally said the right string it kept telling me it was too flat or too sharp. I kept following the apps instructions and continued to tighten it. Soon enough my string broke, just an hour after receiving the bass. I don’t suggest that anyone use this tuning app even though it’s the only free option. It’s obvious that this is a money grab for fender and they do not care about the quality.

I love all the little tools. I love to go on this app and play with all the scales and chords. It is very awesome for listening to fun new little scales and learning the different patterns. Sometimes I will sit on here and just play around on the scales for long periods of time. I also love to see all the different ways I can play chords. And the metronome and rhythm sections are very helpful as well. The tuner is ok too I guess.

Best ever. I know absolutely nothing about instruments let alone guitars, and I was able to tune my guitar in about 10 minutes. This app is easy to use and understand, but also fairly basic. All you have to to is pluck a string of your guitar, and it senses which string it is and if it’s in tune or how to make it tuned. My guitar came with a ‘tuner’ and I personally have no common sense and it was very hard for me to use, but this app is so simple and easy to understand. 😁

Great little app for guitar players!. Handy to just be able to take out your phone and tune up the axe. Has settings for electric guitar and bass, as well as acoustic guitar. Has all the tunings a player needs from standard to drop d, 1/2 step down and so on. Works well and I have found it to be very accurate. Fender put their name on it, so one would expect nothing but quality from one of the best names in guitar! If you're a beginner, casual player, or seasoned vet, this app will be worth having.

Was a good app. I used to really like this app. I paid for it several months ago to get all of the features and now everything is locked but the tuner unless I sign in. Please don’t give me your canned response about being able to get everything for free. I shouldn’t have to give you my email to get spammed when I already paid for all of the features. You do realize you were false advertising now, right? I was told all I had to do was pay once and get all the features, which I did. I will never sign up to get full access when I already paid for full access.

Great especially for a beginner. I got an electric guitar this Christmas and I had all the basics, the guitar, the amp, and a few pics, but I didn’t have one of those clip on tuners to help me tune my new guitar. So when I found out that there was a free app to help tune my guitar, I was so happy. It’s great considering it’s free, it’s not the best though, but at least I could instantly tune my guitar on the spot, and it does a pretty good job, again considering it’s free. If your not sure about this app, it doesn’t hurt to try it out.

It’s fender quality for fender guitars. It does what it should do and more to help beginning guitar players get a feel for their new guitar. I’m assuming the reviewers finding problems with the auto tuner have bad mic quality in their phones, or are plucking the strings sloppily, coupled that with the finicky auto tuner feature with the app itself. A good tip for those using the auto tuner to save time: if the tuner is giving you weird and mixed responses, don’t continue to tighten or loosen up the strings or else you’ll accidentally break your string because the auto tuner is stuck on telling you your string is too flat. Check instead with the manual tuner to see where you’re at with tuning your guitar and then go back to the auto tuner. Hopefully this helps you keep your guitar in proper condition and save you the hassle of buying more strings. Waste more time being careful with the tuner instead of wasting money buying new strings.

Something needs to be fixed. Every time I try to tune with this app now, if says it’s 49 cents flat. This causes me to question my tuning and tune up. I see that other people are having the same issue and even causing some to break strings. I used to not have any trouble with this app, it was great, and I paid the extra money for the advanced tuning. When it worked, it was great. If they fix this, then I will change my review, but for now, just know this app will not tune your guitar unless you like playing a half note sharp. (Also, I looked in all the settings to see if there was some option to tune like a half step down or half step up, there is not. Also, it shouldn’t matter when you use the chromatic tuner.

Remarkably easy to use. I tried four or five other tuning apps; they were either focused on extreme accuracy (meaning they wavered and never allowed you to stop getting the guitar in tune), or they were dumbed down to the point that you didn't really know what you were doing. This one hits it out of the park by showing a clear visual representation of whether you are close enough to make the guitar sound good or not, with no extraneous information. Bravo!

Works okay. I have been playing guitar for about 2 years now, and I'm trying this app out, but though I watched the tutorial and understand what I'm doing, plus I know my speaker and mic work just fine, I adjusted the settings and went to tune my guitar, but when I went to start with bottom E, I plucked my string, waited, and did that about 5 times but it never picked up on the app. Along with the fact that when I'm trying to tune a string it keeps changing from to flat or to sharp, so I never know what to do. If you could try to fix this it would be very appreciated, especially since this is the app compatible with my phone, thank you.

kinda annoying. Hi, my name is Wren and I am ten years old. I have just started playing guitar and I needed a tuner. I got this one because it had top reviews. At first I thought that the app was not working because I didnt know how to use it, but now I realized it has some problems. First, it is annoying that you have to pay to have the good tuner. Like, you payed for the guitar so why have to pay for the app (or why would you have to pay for the good tuner). Second when you are using the tuner it is a pain on how you cant tell the app to tune one of the strings instead of it figuring it out (it dosnt even pick the right string). Third can I just say how unrealistic the chords are for this tuner than a real one. I once at home tuned it with the app then did a lesson and they had to fix the tuning( you might be thinking “dont you know it can go flat”. Yes I do know but it was the same pitches as when I tuned it at home). The app is not worth getting, just buy a real tuner. Im not trying to be rude to the creators I just want to warn people before they get the app. - Wren

Good for tuning and stuff.. This is probably one of the best tuning apps I’ve used so far for many reasons, but I will just say it’s many features and tuning options saved me money from buying a tuner, since I always lose mine. The only con I have against this is the need to have two separate apps for tuning and learning, Fender Tune and Fender Play and why they can’t just have all those features on one single app.

Quick and clean tune each time works for me!. Out of tune never works. I've never developed an ear for tuning just right. I have an old dreadnaught with medium gauge "oh-maybe-nylon wrapped with metal" strings or something -- I threw the package away -- all from before the dawn of time. I get an excellent tune in about 2 minutes with Fender-tune. I've little experience with the broad range of options out there. I'm too busy playing my guitar to look far right now. I'm so ashamed -- but not really -- this product works very well for now. What I mostly need is perhaps the ability to quickly tune to a better frequency -- but later -- for now I play for pleasure, and this product gives me more pleasure than any electronic tuner I've used. When well tuned, my guitar nearly plays itself.

Drifting flat when fading out. I like being able to whip out a phone to quickly tune something. However, in the app as notes die out when reference tuning, they suddenly go flat by about a quarter step, causing much confusion and inaccuracies. That’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. If this could be fixed, I’d be much happier with it, but as it stands I have to try to tune very quickly and stop the playback from the app in order to accurately tune. That said, this is more of a backup app when you’re already pretty close, I wouldn’t trust it (or any other tuner that’s based on a phone) to be my primary tuner.

Love it. I have a ukulele and just had the strings changed. New strings have to break in and stretch so I have to re-tune a lot. This app so awesome and correct. It coincides with my Snark tuner. This app shows how close you are to getting the note tuned by a circle that moves right or left indicating to tune up or tune Down. Once you hit it just right the circles come together. Try it you’ll like it

What happened?. I loved this app on my iPhone 6. I used it every day and it was my favorite of the software and hardware tuners I had. Then I got an iPhone 8 and installed it. On my “new” phone the app, in the Pro part, can’t tell that I’m playing a note on ANY string. In the other parts it tells me I’m tuning the A string when I’m playing the low E, D when I’m on A, etc. I’m not a beginner and I have hardware tuners that tell me that each string is close to being in tune (that is, the G is in the G range - I’m not trying to tune the G to E). It still works correctly on my iPhone 6, which I no longer carry. What’s up? When it works, it’s great. When it doesn’t it’s useless.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!. There are plenty of apps out there; Tuners, chord/scale, and the like. This app is BY FAR a the best. You get access to the most things—for FREE!! It blows my mind how amazing this app is, honestly. If you’ve used other apps and you haven’t tried this one yet, you’re in for such a great surprise for the things it makes available for you, and again, it’s FREE. Fantastic App But…. I love all the tuning options and the ability to make your own. The chord and scale library also makes it the best guitar app on have. One problem is that there isn’t an option for extended range instruments like 7/8 string guitars or 5/6 string basses. Those would be great options considering that extended range instruments are getting more popular.

Great app with one annoying flaw. I love this app and use it daily. I use mostly the rhythm beats for practicing (much better than a boring metronome). One item I would like to see fixed is the bpm selector button. After selecting the speed you want you have to hit a small arrow which enters that speed and goes back to the playing screen. The arrow is very small and if you don’t hit it exactly on center it changes the bpm to the maximum of 400. Then you have to start all over again. Fender - Please make the arrow bigger. Thank you.

0 stars. From a company as well known as Fender I would really expect their software/firmware be at the highest standard possible. I’ve tested this tuning app about 22 times now with other professional grade tuners at its side and have broken countless strings while conducting these experiments because the application would say I haven’t yet reached the desired note when other tuners have said I was way over. I have tested with numerous guitars that have come into the shop after getting complaint after complaint about the customers who use the app to tune their instruments. The app just cannot pick up the sound fast enough or at all sometimes. From a professional guitar tech in the field for 17 years I DO NOT recommend anyone download this app. Unless you like driving back and forth to the music shop to buy more strings.

Thank You Fender !. It’s so nice to have a guitar tuner with me at all times. Seems to work just fine, i have found myself needing one every once in a while, when at camp, and when playing on other people’s instruments or any other instances. I always seem to have my phone with me so kudos to fender for keeping everyone in tune. No problems with pitch, and I like to tune 1/2 step down, and no problems setting it to do just that. When I open the app, I don’t have to reset the pitch every time I use it. VERY NICE TO HAVE FOR FREE! Thank You Fender

Made me break a string!. This app was great! When it worked! It’s always broken, either it doesn’t detect noise at all, thinks you’re playing a strong your not playing, or makes you tune way beyond what it is! I tried to tune my guitar and it said the e string wasn’t low enough so tunes lower, still not good, ok so even lower then, still not good, I tune lower and the string breaks because the app mislead me! When it DID work which was rarely, it was great! This was just the final straw for me, I only ever used this app because it was free but I think the creators know that and know no matter how many times people complain they’ll still get downloads, and I’m not the first one to complain about this, it’s been complained about for a year now! Has it been fixed? Nope, until this is fixed I’m never coming back to this app nor will I change this review (like the developers care anyways) and I’m definitely warning my friends not to use this either.

Rapid tuning made easy. I’ve used many different tuners over the years from a wide range of companies and I find this simple “instant tuner” one of my favorites. It’s ease of use as well as the three different modes that are available made it a “go to” addition to my musical collection. Out of all my guitars Fender has always been the front runner for manufacturers, so now I have a complete Fender selection. From the guitars, amplifiers and now this…. it seems as though my collection is complete…..until this great company comes up with something new…..thanks fellas!

Auto tuner worked, but doesn’t anymore. I have a bass and have been using the auto tuner on here for years after getting it. Today, I tried tuning my bass again, but it’s not tuning E or G. A and D are getting tuned perfectly fine, but on E and G, it always stays on one side of the circle in yellow saying ‘Too sharp, tune down’ or ‘Too flat, tune up’ which is what I’m doing but it just goes to the other side or stays in the same place. I know for a fact that my mic is fine and I’m plucking the strings correctly, so I have no idea why it isn’t working. Please fix it, and this review will DEFINITELY be five star. Thank you.

Very inconsistent. I play the bass and when using the live tuning i find that the tuner is extremely inconsistent and inaccurate. i’ll pluck a string and it’d say to tune up then i’d pluck again without making any changes and it’d say tune down. also it would say that i found perfect tune then id try with my attachment tuner and it’d still be off. i understand it can’t be spot on and it’s not the best option but i mean come on i don’t wanna spend 10 minutes tuning my bass because it keeps saying to tune up and down after saying it was already perfect. do not download if you want your guitar in tune.

Best tuner on the App Store. This guitar tuner is reliable for every iOS update, does way more than just help you tune the guitar and does it without annoying ad pop up’s. And it’s free. It really shows you Fenders commitment to the music and the musicians. I tried a few others in the past because of their place in App Store mainly but I always come back to this one. If you’re a beginner or a pro, this is a must have app.

Broken Strings. I downloaded this app so I could finally tune my guitar that had been out of tune for a while. I saw this app and decided to give it a try even though I can tune with my ears. While I was tuning my G string on my acoustic guitar, it broke! It kept telling me to tune down and when I played it a couple seconds before it broke it said to tune down more. So I tuned it down again like it said and it just snapped! I was afraid it would happen to my other strings so I delete it immediately. You can get this app if you want but my experience with it was absolutely horrible!! Just please be careful if you do decide to get it. It’s not always right...

There are better tuners. The way that this app displays the tuner is silly. It look nice and sleek like an apple commercial, but it’s not intuitive to how a person tunes their guitar. I have wasted a lot of time only to have this app tell me I’m perfectly in tune, when really I’m a couple cents sharp or flat. Sounds like a nit pick but for an app whose purpose is to tune my guitar, it should be more accurate. I can tune my guitar approximately by ear I don’t need an app for that. I do give them props for having the manual function allowing you to tune to a frequency, thought Download pano tuner it is a much better tuner.

Accurate & User Friendly. Very accurate, user friendly, and lots of sweet features! The pro version is definitely worth the price and gives you lots of scales, different chord voicings for all the chords and a nice variety of usable drum rhythms. Keep in mind that if you place your mic/phone too close it might pick up the tones/vibrations of more than one string so placement is important (more of an issue with a 12-string than with a 6-string). The best features, imo, are the in app purchases, which are all great for the price.

Good for beginners. I just started playing guitar and I didn’t know how to tune my guitar to what it needed it to be and this app does was very very helpful, it has everything you can have on a tuning app, all you have to do is pluck the string, you can chose wich tuning you wanna pick, standard and everything you can also make your own tuning, the app is very good and helpful for beginners I recommend it.

Useful at times, mostly frustrating.. This tuner app is convenient when you don’t have a good tuner. My tuner only tunes to standard. This tuner can tune to anything you need, you can even add custom tuning. The accuracy, though, is something that needs to be worked on. It would also help a lot if I could select which string I’m tuning, because when I try to tune from standard to drop B, it always incorrectly guesses which string I’m picking, sometimes not even registering at all. But, despite it’s flaws, it’s better than nothing.

Great tuner. Works excellent as a tuner. I wish it had some other features like a metronome and a practice timer. That would be really cool as an all around basic bare bones practice app. I always tune up first, then kick off the metronome (in another app) and set the iPhone timer for five minutes and practice scales. Then I practice chords for five minutes. Then I practice sight reading and sheet music. I don't know maybe there's more people like me that would use those other two features daily as well. But, nonetheless I understand this app is a tuner and it does that well.

It used to be better.. This app used to work really well for me, but over the past year or two, I’ve had problem after problem with it. So much of the time it won’t give me any info on where my tuning is. I’ll see the decibel meter working at the bottom, but nothing shows up to tell me how to tune. Other times it shows up, but it thinks I’m tuning high e, when I’m really tuning the A string. Then, and this happens 9 times out of 10, it gets stuck on the high e string and I have to close the app to get it to recognize other strings. I always make sure I have absolute silence when using this, so that it only hear the guitar, but even then it doesn’t always recognize what I’m playing.

Amazing Tuning App. To begin with, this app is so amazing. I decided to download this app because I didn’t want to spend money on a tuner. So when I stumbled upon this app I said to myself “why don’t we give this a go.” So I downloaded it and I used it and it’s was the most simplest and efficient Tuning App. I really like this Tuning App. I sincerely recommend this app if you are a Bass, Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele player. This App has all the need for Tuning. That’s why I’m giving this app 5 Stars.

App review. I downloaded the Fender App and I was satisfied at first When I downloaded the app so I could tune my guitar but later I had to retune it because I had put a new strings when I went to re-tune using this app the app could not tell me the difference between any of the cords or tunings following that it couldn’t tell me the correct cord for Each string. Being this app is from The fender music company I am very displeased at the apps performance I had no issues the first time the second time I had multiple issues I am not a pro Tuner-subscriber and I did not pay for that The microphone on my iPhone was on and it was close enough to the amplifier where it could pick up the sound and still no results again I am very displeased with this performance I will be sure to spread the word and heat warning of this app I will never utilize this app or download it again.

A Legend of the 6 String , my secret weapon .. After countless Silver and Gold records the 1990’s finally brought Platinum to me and me mates that you all know an love ! Before the app we hid our tuners behind the curtains or strictly back stage . After all any half decent club act can tune up toot sweet right ?!? WRONG when your set is tight right and pucka it’s because the whole package comes together .. When one guitar is off even a {u#T hair it means unrecordable, unproduceable rubbish ! Eric C. Picked up my Ukulele finally !. I finally sat down and decided to play my Ukulele after it was sitting in its box, never to have seen the light of day. I was using it without toning it because I just wanted to get the feel of the chords. Once I got the chords down I went to the app store and downloaded this because I didn't want to pay for a tuner. It took me a second to get accustomed to it but I was not disappointed it sounds so nice and did I mention free? Don't get frustrated with the auto-tune just slow down and take it one string at a time. Love the app

I question the accuracy of the tuner. Switched to this app after my favorite app (Guitar Toolkit) stopped working. It’s OK, but I’d like to have arrows in addition to the number of cents on the “pro tuner.” It’s just faster to register in my head than a minus sign or absence thereof. I also sometimes have trouble with it not registering when I’m tuning my bass. As for people who are breaking strings… are you plugging in and tuning silently? I hope so, because if you’re using the mic and tuning out loud, you should really work on developing your ear enough to know if the string is at least *close* to the correct pitch.

BS App. Thought because it was Fender that it would be cool. It isn’t. I checked it out for a little bit and then deleted it. The cool parts of the app needs to be purchased. With an acoustic/electric that has a built in tuner and a snark for my electrics, I don’t need the free part of the app. If you really want an excellent app get Tabs. Also there are many sites that offer free rhythm beats so you don’t need this app for that. As for lessons, I’ve found it difficult to follow especially on a phone as opposed to a live guitar teacher. You’ll spend more time going back to see something again, and hoping you don’t go too far back, in order to watch it again. All in all, very disappointed that I wasted my time with this but felt compelled to voice my opinion.

Reliable tuning source…. Every time my clip on tuner battery dies I would have to buy a new tuner because the replacement battery is almost as much as a new tuner. My Fender tuner app has always been there on my phone and a reliable source for accurate tuning. I use the by ear manual tuner pretty often and I am surprised at how it has trained my ear. I’m not 100% accurate yet but usually within a half a turn.

Works great except for 6th string (E). Every string works immediately when played and as picks it up as it should until I get to the 6th string. Takes multiple tries for it to even pick up that I’m plucking it. Not my phones mic, this is a brand new phone. After a few tries it eventually gets it and I make an adjustment only for it to stop picking it up again. It eventually gets there but quite annoying

Good But Please Fix This For Safety Of All Guitars. This is a great app. When tuning, you get it right every time with this app. However, I believe this one thing needs to be addressed because I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else. I recently just got a Jackson Bass Guitar, and as of writing this post I had it for not even 3 hours. I used the app and the Rumble 25 amp that Fender also built to tune it. I was tuning my G string and it was saying it was still -49cts when out of no where, the guitar string just broke. Now I have to drive back 20 miles to get my brand new guitar restringed, and add to the near $800 bucks I’ve spent on it alone. I don’t know if this has happened to anyone else, but I do think that this needs to be addressed. Something needs to be done so Bass Guitars are easier to tune. Other than that, this app really is great.

Cool app, but…. This is is a nice app. I love the drum tracks and all the different resources available. I only wish the app was a bit more bass friendly. The only place you can choose the bass instrument is when tuning, and there’s only options for 4 string bass tuning. Obviously you don’t need this app to tune your bass to certain notes but, it would be nice if the options were available. When it comes to chords and scales, the bass is nowhere to be found. Bass chords and scales exist!! But other than the lack of bass utility in the app, which is the only drawback on this app, it is fantastic. I’ll definitely continue to use it, mainly for the drum tracks and metronome. Add some more bass utility!! 5 and 6 string included!

Outstandingly accurate. This app is incredible. I have two acoustic guitars and one has a built in tuner, but the other does not and I still have not purchased a tuner for it so I have been unable to play it. Well, thanks to this app, I was able to tune it nicely using the auto tune feature. I was quite surprised at how accurate the tune detection is and how it can recognize the difference between you plucking a string and any background noise around you (I was actively talking while tuning and even double checked that it tuned correctly and it did). This definitely deserves 5 stars. Of course it won’t be as accurate as a normal tuner, but it can definitely get pretty close!

Works mostly fine. I use this app to tune my guitar occasionally, and usually it works fine, but only when I do it using the manual. The auto tuner which is the tuner that tells you when you have the right note does not work very well. For example, say I tune my guitar down a half step then I want to go back to standard tuning, so I use the tuner and it says that I have the right note for each one, then I go back through each note and it says “tune up” or “tune down”. That being said, the manual tuner is a great tool. With the manual tuner you just press the string on the screen and then it will play the sound so then you would try to match your string to that sound. It is good because it is reliable and you just have to listen to it and figure out if you have the right note, which helps train your brain so eventually you won’t need a tuner anymore. So the automatic tuner doesn’t work very well, but the manual tuner is a great tool. Overall it’s a fine app.

Best phone Tuner out. This thing works amazing. I’ve tried many different apps and cannot get them to tune correctly. Maybe if you’re an acoustic player only but definitely not for an electric. I tune my electric guitar perfectly, and to drop D, and it’s perfect. It has many different tunes you can preselect, and the tuning set up is perfect. It just shows whatever pre-tune sound you set up and tells you which way to turn your knob. Very impressed with this.

Overall a lot you can do, but ran into one issue. I love that this app has lots of different tuning options, e.g. open tunings, and half step down for my vintage instruments. Overall has worked pretty great for me. Recently had one semi-major unfortunate experience that set me back though. Somehow after updating the app everything was tuning roughly a half step too sharp on all strings. I discovered this after lots of frustration and trying to get tuned in key with my harmonica. It was so tough to figure out what was going wrong. I even bought a new harmonica thinking mine was out of key. I’m sure Fender will find this software bug and fix it soon. So 5 stars since it’s the only drawback after years with the app

Amazing. I realized my regular tuner had a dead battery in the middle of the covid 19 quarantine. My guitar didn’t sound I turn and I wanted to play it, I was weary about a tuning app but I had no options and it worked wonderfully! I have since been able to get my other tuner a battery and I used it on my guitar the next time it needed it, and I have to say I prefer the free app over what I bought from the store! I highly recommend!

Terrible for tuning. I used this because guitar tuna was down. Guitar tuna is my go to tuning app but hasn’t been working recently so I decided to download this app. When your trying to tune it never will get it right meaning if you were tuning a half step down it would never get there and if you went back to check if all the strings were tuned properly it would say too flat or too sharp. This app also seems to be hard of hearing, I use this app mostly with my electric and I always put it up to my amp for it to hear but even right there it doesn’t hear the guitar, no matter where i put the phone it doesn’t hear my guitar. This app has been horrible for me when it comes to tuning, please fix this.

Works. I had to enable the microphone. On Apple IOS it is in the Privacy setting. I could not find it but support helped me. I have tried the app just now and it worked perfectly.

iPad compatibility. This app works properly, even without the upgraded tuner. 99% Would recommend. Only problem is lack of iPad compatibility. Keep up the good work Fender!

Excellent free tuner. I love this tuner, despite playing now for eight years, I can't tune a guitar by ear. To save the embarrassment, this tuner has helped me greatly and kept my ego intact.

I thought I knew what I was doing. This app is so simple to use and makes my guitar sound at least $1200 better. I use it after tuning by ear and that small difference makes a difference.

Love this app. The fender app is really good and has helped me write 4 songs! It is an amazing app but the tuner is a little hard to use it doesn’t really work that well but otherwise it is an amazing tool for writing songs and riffs

Easy and intuitive. Went for a break in the mountains and left my tuner at home. On the drive my low E got very messed up by my 2yo. Tried by ear and couldn’t get it. Tried another free up and that got worse. Downloaded this app and in 3mins I had it nailed. Top app for tuning.

Pretty good even without the subscription. I just needed an app to tune my guitar, searched it up on the App Store and BOOM there was this app. I think it’s pretty good just to tune, and it has multiple modes and stuff. If you’re looking for an app to learn how to play HEAPS of songs on acoustic guitar, electric, bass, even ukelele or drums this app is great and the money is worth it

App seems broken. It can’t hear my top e string at all, it seems to be giving random and very wrong tunings with the yellow ball bouncing left to right constantly and the mic input indicator is bouncing up and down when there is no actual sound input. Just installed another app that works fine so there’s nothing wrong with my mic or Device, the app simply doesn’t work. Uninstalled.

Excellent app - all guitarists need it!. Pleasantly surprised by the accuracy, simplicity and usability of this app! And the fact that it's free is just undeniably brilliant! Tuned an unplugged electric with it yesterday morning, every bit as accurate as a Boss/TC Electronic/Korg stompbox tuner or a headstock tuner. Highly recommend, every guitarist needs it for that emergency where your clip on/stompbox is out of battery or dead, but to be honest I think you could easily replace both with it for acoustic playing when you don't want (or need) to lug extra gear around.

Great app. Free as well! No annoying in apps interference. So easy to do half step tunings now. Just tuned a 12 String and it’s never sounded better. Love it.

Don’t use the auto tuner.. I’ve been playing less than a year. I’m still developing an ear and consider myself a beginner. The auto tuner on this app is way too sensitive. If you want to spend 15 minutes trying and still have an out of tune guitar then this is the app for you. 6 strings down from the judges.

Bit of a jumpy tuner. I even bought the pro tuner feature, but in both modes, I find that the tuner jumps back and forth around the correct pitch. It’ll move from very flat to very sharp without me even changing the tuning. Makes it very difficult to centre on the pitch when the app is inconsistent in what it’s recognising.

Issue. Ok Fender Tune isn’t bad nor is it good...when I go into auto tune (I have an electric guitar that needs to be tuned) and I pluck a string it works but then after it flips to the other letters and when I did the D string it went to A then E and wouldn’t go to D and whatever string I pluck it does the same thing when I click on the cord I want to tune to it won’t budge it keeps on flicking through the other chords and it getting pretty annoying cause I can’t to Manuel and I know any other way to do this and autotune won’t work for me so I don’t know what to do if this is a bug please fix it. :(

Tuning. The past few years I have lost my inner tuning n have played my blues I guess flat by some semi tones , I find this ap useful to get into normal standard tunings . Thank you

It Actually Works!. It works when other apps I tried didn’t and were too complicated. It works and it’s simple. What more do you want.

Bizarre sounds, short tuning, and awkward app. I miss my built-in tuner. There are no good tuning apps out there (for free). This one has good functionality for a free app. But it has quirks. When entirely re turning, for example, the notes only play for a couple of seconds - not helpful when entirely re tuning. Why not leave them going? The instrument choices are also terrible - not even at all close to real life sounds. Why bother? Just use a generic tone. Finally when you use manual mode the tone should sound when you press the string you want instead of constantly having to change the note and then re change just to get a sound out of the app - really annoying and not user friendly at all. Disappointing if this is really a Fender product.

Amazing app! You must get it!. I got my first ukulele at 5, and I had no idea how to play it, or tune it, so it was completely useless at that time. After 4 years, we moved away to another state, and I was 9 at the time, I vividly remember taking out my old ukulele from a box on moving day. And I looked at some tuning apps and done the research, and tada! I found this! It worked like a charm, and it has multiple different types of guitars that you can tune such as base, electric or acoustic and even ukulele. Now, I am 13, and my passion for playing music has gone up by a mile, thanks you this app. It is worth downloading it, trust me!

Guitar tuners majorly off!. I would’ve never thought a reputable brand like Fender would even have an error this big! Both acoustic and electric guitar tuners aren’t at 440Hz, so 4 hours of studio time wasted, by the time we needed to layer the keys, the artist that did guitars and vocals has left and everything was majorly out of tune. Cross-referenced with 2 other apps and 3 instruments. Definitely wrong. Ukulele tuner seems to work fine though.

Thanks Fender, awesome app. I use this app to tune my acoustic guitar, and it does it perfectly. The interface is just fantastic, easy to use. Makes my life easier, no need to carry around a separate tuner anymore! Awesome job guys.

Uninstalled. As soon as fender started advertising on my lock screen I uninstalled the app. I get pushing your products in the app, but I don’t want to wake up to an invitation to upgrade to pro before I’ve even unlocked my phone let alone your app which I haven’t used in months. Poor show fender.

Great App. A great app to accompany my Fender Play subscription. The only downfall is the fact there are no scales for Bass Guitar. Is this something that will be added/updated soon.

Missing ‘Restore Purchase’ option on latest update. This latest update is missing the restore purchase option for those who purchased the player pack or the individual features of the app, instead, it’s asking you to sign up / sign in to a free account to get all the extra features for a limited time, which I did just to unlock those extra features that I’ve already paid for years ago. Otherwise, the app is great. Can you please fix this on the next update? Edit: The developer response didn’t address the (minor issue) that I’m having, I’m asking for the restore purchase option, I already know that I can sign-up to get the upgrade for free, I said on my previous review that I have signed-up just to get the upgrade that I’ve already paid for years ago, my question is why do I have to sign-up for an account (even if it’s free) if I already paid for the upgrade? But I guess what I’m asking is pointless.

Best tuner I've ever had. Had a few over the last 30 years. And this by far the best. And it's on my phone. 🙌. Been using this for 1 year. Not a glitch Thank you fender. 🍻👍

Way out. This app was good but after I used it for alternative tunings and then went back to standard it is out by just over a full tone. I have been playing for over 40 years, never known a tuner to be so bad.

Inaccurate. The tuner is a bit inaccurate when it comes to customizing your own tune. I am hoping the developers of this app will fix this issue soon.

Selection of tuning. I love how there are heaps of different tunings and the custom tuning for your favourite songs which you get for free. Most other apps make you pay for this. Only criticism is both the the auto and pro tuner have trouble picking up acoustic frequencies and makes it a slight hassle to tune sometimes. Maybe how the mic analyses sound is different because the Guitar Tuna app works just fine. Overall handy app.

An amazing product. Thank you Fender, for this incredible app. In the past, i have gone through endless batteries trying to keep external tuners working. And even with fresh batteries, they are notoriously difficult to use. I got into the bad habit of expecting my guitar teacher to tune my guitar at the start of each session, so insecure was i in believing that the tuner had done its job. This app has given me so much more confidence. I can now hear whether a string is in or out of tune. Easy to use, i now start each time i play with a quick check of whether or not i’m in tune. Out of Tune. This app used to work well but since one of the last updates it is no longer in tune even though it’s on default settings and set to standard. Reference pitch is set to standard but no luck. Very bizarre and unfortunate.

auto tuner doesn’t work. the auto tuner is super touchy and always changes what note it thinks you’re playing, and even when it guesses correctly it still can’t ever decide whether you’re too high or too low. only gets 2 stars because it doesn’t charge you to change what tuning you’re using (which is the bare minimum for a tuner app imo) and the interface is nice looking

Doesn’t work whatsoever. I tried to find a free tuning app and I found this and I thought it would be good but it doesn’t work and it made it so my guitar that was just barely out of tune into a guitar that has only 1 string that is remotely guessable of what string it is. Does not work don’t have the other reviews change your mind it does not work. Would rate 0 stars if possible

MY STRING BROKE. This app with awesome at first but then they said to go higher then higher then even higher then MY STRING JUST BROKE now i cant go anywhere to get it fixed so now i need to use my other guitar that was so cheap and was just used for decoration, so thanks a lot

Not sure what’s up.. Keeps tripping out.... every time i use it, it makes me do it over again because there still untuned I think it might need to be updated or something. Other then that I love this ap.. it’s just unfortunate that it won’t work right every time I go to tune.

Finally. This system doesn’t believe in ‘close is good enough’. The tuner shows you that you are very close but doesn’t let you away until you see the target is completed. Love this thing so much I’ve virtually stopped using my guitar’s’ tuner feature.

Beginner. Definitely helps someone with my little knowledge of guitar playing. I have a tuner on the neck of my guitar and I was having a hard time tuning. This app gets me real close and then I was able to fine tune with the tuner on the neck. Would of been lost without it. Thanks

Awful. The app barely works, it always registers the string as another when I play it or doesn’t register it at all. GuitarTuna works much better, but unfortunately you have to pay for different tuning styles.

Horrible app made me break my strings. Tuned it according to the automatic tuner and realized something didn’t sound right but I trusted the app anyways and kept tuning accordingly… 5 seconds later and both my high B and E string snap Restarted the app and now its even trying to tune a half step down even though I have the standard preset selected I've double checked just to make sure it wasn’t a problem on my end yet didn’t see any problems I would give it zero stars if I could this is just ridiculous as a tuning video on youtube would’ve yielded better results 🤦‍♂️

Does not always catch the strings to tune. The app is not a 100 %. When trying to tune the guitar it will hop from string to string on the app selection for the string. The user can not pick the string on the app that is related to the string on the guitar. So when tuning to different set of tonings. Such at the standard C, the app just jumps from one string to another. If we were capable of selecting the string on the app. It would be very helpful. Thanks

Excellent, has no idea it was this good. Sometimes you just use the app you’ve always been using, like guitar tuna, for a decade before they start messing with the app and placing more ads and taking forever to load, you look at alternatives. I won’t be looking back. Not only can I get any classic tuning imaginable, I can create my own! Awesome. And the other tools seem cool, I need to look through it more.

Good instructions.. easy to use. This app is by far the easiest turner I have used and I have tried a few. Gives easy to follow instructions and it’s on tune.

The best I’ve found. I’m a guitar teacher and this is now the app I recommend to all my students. I used to use a different popular tuner app but it wanted me to pay a lot for simple upgrades. This app has all you need and more and it doesn’t charge you anything, and it has a bunch of added features I didn’t even realize were included when I first got the app. If there is something better out there I haven’t found it.

Almost 5 stars!. The only reason I can’t give it all 5 stars is, when you get a string in tune, the app does a little green circular loading symbol and chime detecting that you’ve gotten the string in tune. That symbol takes just enough time to make me sigh in frustration. Aside from that the tuner works just as good as one you clamp to the head.

Broke my Guitar. It was all going GREAT, until the last string (E). It kept telling me it was too flat and to turn it up so I did and at every little time i turned it up i would play the string again to see if anything changed. It would go up a bit then tell me it was still too flat and to keep going, so i listened to it. It snapped my string, and since most guitar places near me are closed I can’t fix it.😑 It worked for all my other strings though, so thanks for that.

DON’T GET THIS APP!. So I have always loved music and for Christmas I got an acoustic guitar so I wanted to tune it the best I could so I read some reviews and got the app. At first I thought it was an amazing app I told all my friends “get finder tune”. But know I regret it. So when I was tuning my guitar on one of the cords it kept on telling me to go higher and higher so that’s what I did. The next thing I knew was I was in tears! All thanks to this crappy app one of the strings had snapped! If u r reading this review do NOT get this stupid app! It is a waist of time witch I can be spending playing with my friends on fortnite or go to there house so... I have warned y’all...get this app at ur own risk.

So much better that the clip on type!. So much better than the clip on one that came with the guitar. Makes playing so much more enjoyable. It tells you which way to bring strings in time and how far to go. When it’s right the app shows you a full circle of the sound from pluck until it’s done making the sound.

Literally 5 minutes or less to tune perfectly. Fender tune is so freaking easy to use. It will occasionally pick up on the wrong string but you can easily fix that by tuning up or down a little. My friend didn't know how to tune his ukulele so I tuned it within 40 seconds with this. It's just too easy!!!

Very Good Tuner. I love this app! But…there’s one caveat. This tuner is incredibly accurate AS LONG AS there’s no background noise in the room. Your phone cannot discriminate between fan noise, TV noise, aquarium noise, ANYTHING! Sound is vibration moving thru air. Other sounds interfere with the app. Those complaining here have likely had other sounds in the room, or cheap phone mics. When I tune in a quiet room, this tuner is spot-on. There IS a bit of wiggle-room in the “in tune” target. Be aware that if you’re sneaking into the pitch from the high side or low side, you may need to very slightly adjust once you start forming chords. Still, this app is far and above more accurate my clip-on tuner!

Custom Tuning Never Saves. Please, for the love of god, someone fix the one feature on this app I have a consistent problem with. Every time I attempt to create a custom tuning, an error message pops up saying I can’t save it. It doesn’t matter what the tuning is, every single time it fails to save. Extremely annoying. uhhhh that’s it lol

Seems okay.. For one reason or another, I have a hard time with getting Fender apps to function properly. I purchased this this morning, and the app doesn’t seem to realize I purchased it. I was under the impression the were song tabs and play alongs I can’t seem to access it, unless the songs are on Fender Play, which I own. I guess what I find misleading, there is no place for me to sign in, which gives me the idea the app does not realize I own it.

Awesome Tuner. I just got a brand new ukulele the other day, and I was so excited to use it. But then the issue of tuning it was a huge problem. The portable tuner that came with the ukulele sucked, and it said that my C string was the A. So I went to my music teacher and she tuned it, thank god, and she showed me the app that helped her. This app is a god send! I’m so happy that I can tune my ukulele anytime I want. Yay!

App review. I’ve used most of the apps and I find this one the easiest to use and with alternative tunings built in. I like to play a lot in drop D and Open E so when re tuning from standard I enjoy the fact their is nothing more to purchase and you can change tunings quickly and easily.

Helpful for a beginner. Just picked up a couple of guitars from a friend. I have never played and my kids and I thought we could take some online lessons. I would have no idea how to tune a guitar and do not have a ear for it. Thank you Fender for making our lessons sound better than they would have. Easy to tune and we all think it is fun to use. It is magical.

Sorry for this review but I still recommend downloading this app because it tuned all my guitars PERFECTLY . I did just change my guitar strings so that could have been the problem but still would have been a great 5 star app if this did not happen!😊

Best App Ever!!. I can’t believe this app is free! It’s an incredible tool with so many useful features. Tuning my guitar is super easy. You can see & hear any chord or scale, pick a beat to strum to, and keep the beat steady with the metronome. I finally decided to learn the guitar, and my husband bought me the Fender Play app, which is also incredible by the way. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Helpful, Accurate, & Easy. Fender Tune continues to improve. It was always good as a decent tuner app. Now, it is more robust and full-featured. Either that or I was so new to guitar and the app that I never noticed. This app is way more than a tuner. As a tuner, it is very good, whether in Auto or Pro mode. What I am really appreciating are the chord, scale, and drum features. All of these are great for practicing and learning.

Idk why other people don’t like it. I would REALLY recommend this app I am 12 years old and it took me only 5 minutes to understand how it works and i really appreciate how helpful and easy it was and i want to thank the maker for such an easy way and one last thing ITS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Didn’t know what string I played. Every time I used this app it and I played a string it said a different one was playing it rarely got the right string and when it did I would change from to sharp to loose or just right then immediately just change to something else

Never a problem. I have never had a problem with tuning with this app - it corroborates exactly with my Snark on my classical guitar. Maybe it likes nylon strings more than steel? Dunno, but it’s always worked perfectly for me! I would love to see an Apple Watch version of this app, if that is technically possible (I have no idea if it is, but would be great!)

Great app. I have just started to play the guitar, and I have been taking online classes. The classes said to make sure your guitar is in tune, and I already have a built in tuner, but it was a little tricky to adjust. I downloaded this app and it it amazing. I can hear the notes and compare to my own guitar, and it can test to make sure I am not flat. Really helpful!

Save time settings. The app has worked perfectly in the past without issues and it was always my go-to but recently it’s been giving me an error that I cannot save custom tune settings. It used to before and now it gives me a message saying there was an error in saving the tune. Really bummed on this one. I can’t tune to a custom setting without saving a new one first or without jumping between the pre-saved ones that the app already has. I’ve tried re-downloading and it’s the same problem.

Great App. I purchased a guitar that has built in tuner. So disappointed that I have to purchase the battery almost every other month though I hardly used it. Glad I have downloaded this Fender App and it works perfectly when tuning my guitar. Thanks Fender! This App is very useful. Elvie

Nice for a beginner.. Started playing just a coupe months ago and this is easy to use and large! My bass came with a chrome cast tuner which is sometimes hard to see (especially the needle and in bright light) and needs batteries. This is always with me and easy to understand with a little happy sound when in tune! Thanks!

Not a really good app. This app never worked for me, it made me break several strings. The app will tell me that I was too sharp to the point it made my string break. Also when i tuned my guitar with this app, my guitar was still out of tune. Please go to your local guitar shop or go to the internet and get a real tuner because this one really does not work for me and will probably not work for you either.

Better than Most!. I have used a few different free tuning amps. I find Fender’s to be one of the most accurate and stable. I have not tried their premium version but I like what I’m seeing and hearing so far. Fender just seems to put more care and effort in to most of what they offer their customers. Keep up the great work guys!

Okay, but a couple of issues. Fender Tune is a little frustrating to use because it’s oversensitive near the exact tune point. Also seems to drift a bit as the sound diminishes. This is on a brand-new Fender Stratocaster through a Fender amp. Some other tuning apps I’ve tried don’t have this problem. Another issue for me is that the screen is sideways on an iPad. Common for cheap apps. I believe the oversensitivity is is an algorithm problem, and I hope the developers will fix both of these problems.

Great app with a problem. The app for the most part if not 95% of the time works, but everytime when trying to save a tuning, it just pops up an error message, saying that it didn’t work, Im writing this, in hope they can see it and fix it, please fix it

Never goes to right string. Hi my name is Deacon and I am 13 years old. I have been using this app and boy can I tell you it is not accurate. When I use your guys auto tuner, I could be on the B string and it can say I’m playing on the A string. And then why I click on the correct string it starts to fade out then says pluck a string. This app works a little less half the time, so I’ll give half of what it deserves.

Best tuning app out there. I usually do not review apps, but this tuning app has been so helpful to me I just had to leave a review. I use it all the time, it’s the perfect tool. I especially love that it has multiple different tuning other than just standard, where in other apps you would have to pay for this option. Great app!!!

?. the only reason i have this app is to have access to the alternative tuning. The custom tuning feature would be amazingly helpful, if i didn’t get the “Error, Sorry there was a problem saving your tuning” every time. The actual tuning system isn’t great because you can’t select which string you’re tuning so it goes all over the place

Broke 2 strings. the app is inaccurate and when it says “in tune” I’m not in tune and then it said tune up so I tuned up for a while then it said tune down the tuned down , so I was like alright I’ll just try to be slow but then it kept saying to go high and going between high and low then my string popped happend to my B and E strings

It’s Very Good. It is very good, but just a little quirky. It takes a bit of plucking to get an acceptance. Nut a single pluck of a string gets you from way below, to way above an acceptance. Sometimes an acceptance comes very quickly, sometime not. But it is.a little disconcerting that plucking a string several times gets you a complete to the left, complete to the right, acceptance; even though you did not change the tone. At All.

For a free app. I have been back and forth on this app, if there is other instruments playing my device (i6s+) device has a hard time picking you out. The update made it a little better but for a free app I like the versatility from bass to guitar and drop d or c at couple clicks in set up. It’s and decent would recommend.

Possible power consumption. Downloaded this last night to tune up my bass. Seems to work well enough though I’m only a beginner. Only thing is that I went to bed with 35% power and woke up to a dead phone and iOS telling me this app used 56% of my battery consumption in the last 24 hours. The vast majority of that was background activity. So while I like the app, I suggest making sure it’s shut down after you’re done tuning.

Bluetooth access?. I bought the full app because I like it’s usefulness with chords and scales. So far I’m happy, but I just noticed I now have “Find a Beat” & “Metronome” which will be handy, but when I tried to use the metronome with my Bluetooth headphones, I didn’t hear anything. The headphones just fine with music on my phone, but I’d like to have the metronome play through the Bluetooth headphones, which would be great for quieter guitar practice.

NO BLUETOOTH. Great App and features are well thought out. However, be aware there is no Bluetooth connectivity available in this app. In my case this is crucial, but only way to do this is connect a 3rd part external Bluetooth transmitter so I can listen to the videos/features via headphones. Simple app design miss makes this a 3rd rate app overall. Easy fix that hopefully they can address on next versions.

Pretty good. Erm, I know next to nothing about Guitar. I got it like yesterday for Christmas. This was one of the only free apps I could find to tune the guitar. I have no idea how to do it but I was able to figure it out pretty quick with the instructions on the app. You see me personally, I kinda like it

The Doorman. I’m 68. Hearing’s not so good. I depend more on my sight for tuning. Visually, the other tuners had the needle or line all over the place taking me forever to decide when to stop. Just lining up the circle is way faster for me. I bought my first electric guitar. An Epiphone Casino. Having a blast. Just way harder to tune than my classical guitars.

Not all it’s cracked up to be. I am Ella and I am 18. I have a few things that I need to tell people before they download this app. I play guitar and I needed an app to help me tune it but the app can’t decide if a E is an A or a G and if I pay the A cord it thinks it’s a G I am very frustrated with that and on top of that you have to pay money to get a decent tuner and I hate that I would have to waste my money on something that doesn’t even work. I would love if this could be fixed but it is not that good of an app

Very handy tuner!. Most apps you’ll find of this functionality will constantly get in your face about buying a full version with lessons and what have you. This application simply meets you needs and permits plenty of room for learning how to properly tune stringed instruments you get a hold of. Ask me what this app needs to get better and my answer will remain; nothing.

Soooo annoying. Alright so I was trying to tune my guitar down a half step right I was using this app because it’s the only one that lets me do that for free and it was so difficult I would be picking a string and it wouldn’t hear it I restarted the app it still didn’t work I even uninstalled it and the installed it again the same thing happened it couldn’t hear me well and I got so frustrated I even tried plucking it slowly and I would work for a second and then it couldn’t hear me I would not recommend

Ukulele tuner / guitar tuner. I have owned and used tuners in the past but this the easiest tuner I’ve ever used. I have played guitar in the past but wanted to learn the ukulele so I could take it on the road when my wife and I go camping and see the USA. I didn’t know the names of the ukulele strings. It shows the names along with tuning aid. This will allow the beginner and professional alike with what they need to tune ukulele and guitar. Great product...

Fender app is fun and simple to use! Rad!. It’s simple to use. I have never played a guitar before in my life. My son really wanted to play so I got an old guitar, restrung it, and down loaded this app to tune it. It’s been really helpful and fun to use too. I even learned a ha full of rifts to play with my son. Really appreciate the app.

One request. Great app. Stable, works, lots of features. One request: on the metronome/rhythm features it would be good to be able to set tempo by entering a number. Now it is done with a slider which is a pain in the neck and tap tempo. These are both very sensitive and difficult to use. It would be much easier and less time consuming to set the exact tempo you want by putting the number in.

Oh boy... Yes, the app was high quality and offered many versions etc. but when you would play the string I would switch to a different string over an over again it was frustrating for me and i have anger issues so it’s bad. I got very bad at the app cause it kept switching the notes and my mind said “that’s an insult they are saying your so bad it switches the notes cause they sound different” but that’s just me 3/10 would not recommend

this app is bs. i’ve only had my guitar for a few days and i decided to download this app to help with tuning. it worked okay the first time(it took a long time to get it to work) but the next time it told me that one of my strings wasn’t high enough. but even me being an amateur knew that it it was fine. so I kept tightening but it still told me it wasn’t high enough. i trusted it and kept turning it until it broke. now I have to go get it fixed. i don’t think this app is accurate at all and i don’t recommend wasting your time downloading it.

Just perfect cheap helpful and smooth. I started playing a few months ago I play hours a day but some things I can’t get right and nothing was helping but every app wants 50 a year and I’m broke but this masterpiece of an app 4 dollars of in app purchases and I can learn to solo like nothing it’s truly amazing hopefully I can follow my biggest inspiration and Learn more black pumas songs🎸🤟🏾

Terrible to the max😡😡😡😡. Worst app ever on the planet😭😭😭 I am trying to get back into guitar and I tried downloading this app yesterday and I just broke my new gutairs string on it and will have to restring it. It tells me it is so off tune and kept telling me to go down and down and then it snapped. It’s not accurate when telling you where the pitch is and completely sets you up and keeps going to a different note when you try to work on the one side. I am far out of impressed with this app. Terrible as trash and from self teaching myself I have had an awful service.

Good one. If you’re using a phone app when not using an electric tuner, this one is good. I would still suggest this as a gratuity from Fender and others may suit you better. This app is good enough for in the pinch situations, as well as on the fly ones. They also encourage people to begin musically and make it as simple as possible.

Need to fix some things. I was tuning my bass and I was on the second string down and I was tuning it but the app said it needs to be turned more so I kept on tuning is slowly but it broke. Maybe there should be a policy of if you string broke you get a free pack for free because strings aren’t cheep especially if you just started but maybe either fix the app or people will start to complain more and more.
