Helpful to track last feeding, but lacking graphs to show change over time. As a new mom, its hard to have perspective- bc sleep deprevation -you're just operating one day at a time. So it would be helpful if this app actually graphed the data I'm inputting each day to show me how my baby has changed over time, eating less often and sleeping more etc. I do like that multiple users can input data, ex: if my husband feeds the baby/changes a diaper. I would like to see where my baby falls on standard growth curves for age, weight. Etc. I liked all of ovias other apps, fertility and pregnancy, both very functional and helpful. This one does the basics but seems like it's not yet thought out.

No responses to my questions in the community section. Used the pregnancy app and it was great especially with the community section where you can ask questions anonymously. The parenting app started just as great but these past few months have been pretty terrible. I don’t know if there just aren’t enough users on the app to answer your questions or if I’m just alone with my questions/problems... a huge majority of my questions don’t get answered at all. I’ve seen others post in the community that they’re experiencing the same issue so again... I don’t know if it’s an issue of lack of users who are able to answer the question or if there’s a glitch in the app where the question isn’t available for those to answer.

Decent app but logging data is a pain. The app is nicely set up to track information but the issue I have is with logging the data. I have to completely get out of the application each time I want to log data as the time doesn’t update so if you opened it last at 4:30 and need to log data for 4:35 it won’t allow you to log the correct time. Also found that was I enter data if I just minimize the application and then try to add data sometimes it does save so just to be on the safe side you have to close the application completely and reopen.

Ovia to the rescue!. I first downloaded the Ovia period & fertility tracker app to help me better understand my cycle. My hubby & I were also trying to conceive & had no luck. A month later after I downloaded the app we were successful in doing so & with help from the app it worked! Soon after I downloaded the Ovia Pregnancy & it was very informative about months/weeks on baby & things on what to expect during my pregnancy. With much success we had a Healthy baby girl! & now we follow the Ovia Parenting app! What can we say we absolutely love Ovia! Thank you Ovia!

Absolutely love but…. This app is amazing! From the breastfeeding start and stop feature to the reminder of what breast was last used. I could honestly say this app is perfect but two things are missing for me. First, not have some sort of chart or table to see what the total time of breastfeeding or bottle feeding was for the week. Second, not having the option to write a note in the day for calendar. If those two features were added it would be 5 stars for me. Nonetheless, I love this app and it has helped me a lot as a first time mommy.

Great for milestones and logging output. Great app, especially for new parents such as myself. I appreciate the feature of allowing your partner to also log in input and output. Our son had an elevated bilirubin and we had to be very precise about output and intake. Our provider recommended that he have more than 8 bowel movements a day. I did reach out to support regarding the option to add more bowel movements and urine output as my baby has more than 8/day. Please Ovia app upgrade this feature so we can be more precise about our documentation. Otherwise very satisfied.

Some consistent bugs. We’ve used the entire Ovia family of apps and have for the most part loved them. Our gripes with the parenting app: - Often doesn’t save sleep timers. Really frustrating because we’ll enter when our son falls asleep but then it disappears and makes it difficult to track naps. - Entering times with a scroll wheel at the bottom is AWFUL. We constantly accidentally minimize the app trying to scroll. Should be able to manually enter a time or move the scroll. - Slow to load. Frequently defaults to the last time the app was opened, and since you can’t enter feedings at a “future” time you either have to force close and re launch or go back to the home screen and keep refreshing.

My feeding times are off. My baby is now 11 weeks old and I have used the app from day one. Until yesterday, i would have been giving 5 stars. The app is great and very easy to use. But as of yesterday, when I put my feedings in, I get a negative time that counts down and of course it doesn’t reflect the true time in between feedings now. I have tried closing the app doesn’t fix. I powered my phone completely off didn’t work. I checked to see if there was an update, app or phone, everything up to date. It’s very weird. Once that is fixed, I will go back to 5 stars.

Glitchy. I used both the fertility app and pregnancy app before this one and I loved them both. From day one, the parenting app has been slow and glitchy, even causing my brand new phone to freeze. I have plenty of available space on my phone so I know it’s not that. It takes forever to open and fully load before I can enter any data or start to track my feeding times. Just in the last few days the orange circle that shows how long since your last breastfeed and which side used has stopped showing data. Just two dash makes and it’s stuck on R wether I used my left side or not last feed. Definitely disappointed in this app.

Initially good.... So I first found this app after using Ovia Pregnancy and initially loved it! It’s great for new moms (like myself) to track how often and long baby is eating and keep track of dirty diapers without having to think too much about it because honestly you don’t have time for that. It also has great advice you can read about pertaining to where your baby is developmentally. It also has a feature that lets you document when your baby achieves a milestone which is great to use to later fill in your baby book. However one day after using the breastfeeding timer part it froze and now anytime I open the app it has the timer still at the time it froze on and will not let me read any more articles or look to see what milestones are in the age range my baby is. So overall it’s a great app I guess just don’t input too much information into it or it freezes and not sure how to get it to clear out without losing everything I’ve added in there including milestones 😭

Room for improvement. I wish I had switch to another app when my baby was just a few days old, it I figured I already had a few days logged so I’d keep it and now I regret it. The app is often slow to load, but that’s not the worst part for me. First of all I don’t understand why the summary of feeds is accessed by taping on diapers, not feedings, I don’t like that there’s no time mark for the diapers, I often can’t remember if I logged one, if the time was logged I could look back and figure it out. I also don’t like some of the milestones, they just aren’t appropriate in my opinion. “First babysitter” isn’t a milestone and it came up way to early in my opinion. Also some of the articles come up at inappropriate times, like way after the info would have been helpful. But I think the thing that app lacks most is a place to log weight and length. Also the AAP and WHO recommend breastfeeding exclusively for at least the first 6 months for most babies.... the breastfeeding log should be first, not bottles, with formula listed before breast milk! I wish I had paid $5 for the app I used when I had my older child. Please make some changes Ovia, this could be a great app but now it’s majorly lacking!

Practical app. I used the Ovia pregnancy app with two of my pregnancies and I really loved it, so using Ovia parenting was a natural progression for me. This app's various trackers (pee, poo, feeding, sleep) are great! I like that while feeding, I can exit the app and do other things on my phone, or use other features in the app, and come back to the timer when I'm ready to switch sides or conclude a session. The calendar is also nice, to be able to look back quickly at the overview of everything I've recorded on specific dates. I am giving it four stars instead of five foot the following reasons: I really miss the "just a note" feature from the pregnancy app - I wanted to be able to use this app as an on-the-go journal like I did during pregnancy -- then come back and transfer those special memories to my baby book when I have time. Unfortunately, this app does not have that option. Also, the milestones feature could be improved - I didn't realize how that part worked until my daughter was already a month old, and was checking off a bunch of them all "on the same day" to catch up! I wish the app would prompt you with the various milestones along the way - the same way they do when they ask about whether baby has had a check-up recently, or if you will take a quick mental health survey.

A must for first time moms. I gain knowledge of this app through the Ovia Pregnancy app, and I think its amazing to not be left alone after giving birth and the pregnancy app its not longer needed. It felt good to have some sort of go to with this app. They can make some more improvements to make it even better, like a more detailed or personalized week by week like there is in the pregnancy app, but every baby is different and there are many factors that make their development less predictable, I get that. I guess being a first time mom and using the pregnancy app gave that kind of expectation. Anyway, thanks Ovia family!

Perfect for this first time parent. I learned of this app after using the Ovia Pregnancy app, which I loved! Not only did it help to track feedings for my daughter who needed to eat every 2-3 hours for her jaundice, but being able to track her bowel movements was a must also. I love that it also gives you facts on milestones or things that are normal at our babies age. Now that my baby girl is nearly 4 months old and no longer need to track feedings or bowel movements, I keep it for the facts and resources as it’s much needed information.

Useful for breastfeeding. I use this app for tracking breastfeeding and find it very useful. I like that you can either use a timer or log manually, as I use both depending on whether my phone is within reach when I’m nursing. I can never remember which side was nursed last and it can be hard to tell with engorgement or when I’m delirious in the middle of the night, and this app clearly shows which side was used last. I also like tracking the number of wet diapers as it’s easy to lose count. The little daily health and development facts are neat, and the articles are all relevant and cite their references. Wish there was a little more for the postpartum mom (weight logging and tracking water intake, nutrition, and exercise, especially steps or time walking). Overall great app especially for the price of ZERO, thank you Ovia!

Pregnancy and postpartum. I used Ovia all throughout my pregnancy. It had great tips, articles, and allowed me to keep track of all my symptoms, weight, food intake, etc. It also has symptom checkers, food safety lists. The app was so helpful being pregnant for the first time. Now that our little one is here I’ve been using the parenting app. Let me tell you, it is just as helpful if not more! It has a timer so I can Time how long I’m breastfeeding, how many wet/dirty diapers he is having in a day. It also has great tips for postpartum! I can’t say enough great things about this app!

Disappointing. (EDIT: the original issues I experienced are fixed but now the app constantly says he last ate on the left side. This is super annoying because I usually just quick glance at the main screen to determine which side to feed him on if I’ve forgotten. So this is really frustrating and needs to be fixed.) I used the pregnancy app almost my entire pregnancy (once I found it I used it the rest of my pregnancy), and loved it, I kept track of appointments, my blood pressure readings and I loved seeing my babies development within the womb. But this app has not met my expectations from the amazing pregnancy app. I expected to be able to easily track doctors appointments and vaccinations height and weight etc. Right now I just make a note on the app calendar of what his height and weight were, vaccines and a photo from the day. I’d love to see some work done on those issues and maybe an addition of appointments to the calendar or a doctors section where you can track appointments and vaccinations etc.

Love it! But needs a dark mode.. I used the Ovia pregnancy app during my pregnancy and have used the Ovia parenting app since my daughter was born 6 months ago. I tried a few other apps as well and Ovia was best every time. I really love the feeding tracker so I can better keep track of when she last ate and how long she spent at each breast. It even helps my mom now while I’m at work so she can predict when to start heating up some breast milk for her. My only request is that Ovia offer a dark mode for nighttime feedings. Even on my phone’s darkest setting, the Ovia app shines with the light of a thousand suns during my daughter’s middle-of-the-night feeding(s). It’s very disturbing to both of us since we sleep in a very dark room and it can sometimes be hard to get back to sleep when the Ovia app has been burned into my retinas. If Ovia had a dark mode I would have given it 5 stars!

Not as good as pregnancy app. I started off with the fertility app and when I was pregnant, got the pregnancy app. I was very happy with both apps, but the parenting one just isn’t what I expected after the first two. After going back, I can see that they didn’t mention having any of the stuff I’ve come to expect, but I would’ve liked something to keep track of Dr’s appointments, an immunization schedule, questions for Dr, tracking feeding and diaper changes, etc. On the other hand, I do enjoy the community and they have helped me out already (baby’s less than a week old). I also do enjoy the articles which can be interesting at least and even downright helpful. Not sure about the milestones yet, too early to say how I feel about them. Hopefully over time, Ovia will add a few more helpful tools to this app and make it just as good as the others.

Ovia Lover. I started with the Ovia fertility when my hubby n I were trying to convince, moved to Ovia pregnancy and now am enjoying the Ovia parenting app. They are all WONDERFUL!!! I love this app bc I can track my babies food intake/dirty diapers/ and sleep. It actually saved my babies life I track his feedings daily then over a few days his feedings started declining slowly. My baby had gotten dehydrated by just losing a few ounces a day. But 2 weeks he was losing weight. My dr was able to pinpoint when it happened bc I had my tracker. Thank u guys sooo much. The best app for my family. Thanks

Solid tracking, terrible UI. My wife and I started using Ovia apps with our first child a couple years ago, and transitioned to the Parenting app after they were born. 2 years later, still no dark/night mode and the interface is littered with ads. I put up with the ads because this is a free app and it is GREAT for keeping track of feedings and poops/pees. But why on earth there isn’t a dark mode for middle of the night feedings is beyond me; especially during that newborn phase. We just had our second and I figured that’s a feature that would’ve been added by now. Here we are, in the year 2024, and a simple addition like that can’t be added to help parents not get blinded by the literal light!? C’mon guys

Really good, but could be even better. I’ve been using the Ovia apps for over a year now (Fertility while TTC, Pregnancy, and now Parenting) and have loved them. I do think the Parenting app is not as good as the Fertility or Pregnancy apps. Maybe the Parenting app was an afterthought or something, but it just seems like it is missing some features that would be helpful. First, I wish there was a timer feature for sleep like there is for breastfeeding. I don’t always remember what time my LO fell asleep, but if I could start and stop a timer it would make tracking sleep so much easier. Especially when my son is a bad sleeper so we track his sleep religiously to make sure he is getting enough. Second, ability to add doctors appointments to the calendar along with questions to ask the doctor, immunizations, what was done at the appointment etc. Third, more articles for LGBT families. There were quite a few LGBT articles in the pregnancy app, but I haven’t seen one in the Parenting app. It would be nice to see some information that is specific to my community/family dynamic.

Great app. The app is great it’s filled with great articles and tips that especially help with a first time moms. It also has a milestones list so you know what to look for and when your child should start performing certain motor, thinking and learning, and communication skills. It also makes it to where I can track how long I breastfed for, which side I used last, and how long ago my baby ate. I’m giving 4 stars because I wish they would make it to where you can add wellness check ups on the calendar and also log my child’s growth curve and keep up with his weight, length, and head circumference. On the ovia pregnancy app I was able to track my weight gain during pregnancy and kept up with all my doctors appointments on the calendar. I would love it if they would add these features to the ovia pregnancy app as well.

Good tracking. I like everything about this app. It helps me feel a little better in control. Two issues/suggestions... sometimes the app gets confused when your baby wakes up at say 11:55 PM but you don’t record the info until 12:00+ AM ... just a few minutes later, but the app gets totally confused. The other suggestion is that there be some trending analytics you could see for the various things you are tracking. For example, average number of wet diapers, or average length of feeds, or anticipated nap windows. I just feel like there is all this data but no easy way to compare day to day and see if baby is having an off day or if baby is dropping feedings.

Love Ovia. I used Ovia Pregnancy & was very happy. With both Ovia apps I’ve received quick responses from their help/customer support to navigate the app. I can’t compare to other apps, but I find all of the articles helpful & the daily log easy to use. I’d recommend using Ovia Parenting to others. I use the baby sleep tracker to track my own sleep (since that’s not really happening) but I think you can add other people/babies if you had multiples & you can share the data with others. I send my husband articles all the time. Thank you, Ovia, for making life with a newborn a little easier.

Love. I love this app. It makes letting the pediatrician know how much and how often my baby is eating, as well as dirty diapers per day, so easy. It also helps me and my husband keep track of the last time he ate. We feed both breast milk and formula, so one feature I wish was available was a sum of how much he took of each kind. I’ve been tracking how much breast milk he takes each day so that I can monitor my supply. Right now I just manually add these up, but it would be a nice easy check if it broke down the ounces in the app.

Crashes a lot. I have twins and have been using this for about two months. I chose it because I used the Ovia fertility and pregnancy apps. I like most of it. I wish I could log breastfeeding for two babies at once though (it makes you do the second manually if the timer is running). I’m not sure if the issue is that I am trying to switch back and forth between the info for two babies, but it is regularly slow and freezes. It also completely closes a few times a day. It always works after reopening it or giving it a few extra seconds. But that can be pretty frustrating when you want to log quickly and get back to two babies.

Good App, Missing some features. I love that this apps allows multiple users to track information about baby. I also love that it includes milestones and so much information about baby along his/her journey. But I wish that it was easier to track baby as well as go back and view information. When tracking that you gave baby a bottle it requires hits save in multiple places or else your activity is not tracked. This is a big pain!! Also, wet and dirty diapers are not tracked well. The timeline does not accurately show when these activities were entered, and I wish there was more detailed information in “today” to tell you the timing of the diapers previously entered. With multiple people tracking it would be helpful to see the time stamp. It often comes up “I don’t know if I tracked her last diaper, but there’s no easy way to tell when the last time was that we tracked a diaper”. Overall I like the app, I just wish it was a little bit better. These improvements would make the app much more user friendly!

I LOVE OVIA!!!. I began using this Ovia fertility app then moved on to the pregnancy app. I loved both so much I am now using the parenting app as well!!! They are so helpful and easy to read/use!! It’s great when I only have a few minutes because the articles are extremely helpful and informative. I also love the milestones checklist and the age-based articles section. They have been very helpful in getting ideas for things to do with my little man that are actually beneficial to his development! I would recommend these apps to everyone, including Dads and close family members!!! Thank you OVIA for making my mama journey MUCH easier!!

Form Before Function?. We have been using Ovia products through the entire process of having our now 8.5 month old son (Fertility, Pregnancy, Parenting) but a recent design update has rendered the Parenting app much more difficult to use. The data entry form is one long flowing page with closely packed fields and until recently the different sections were delineated by very distinct background colors so that at a glance (which is all a parent with no sleep or time can often provide) it was very easy to know where you were on the page. These colors also coordinated with the highlight boxes on the front page so it was all very clear. Recently the design was updated so that everything is instead now a sleek white background which might look nice but actually just serves to make the entire form a jumbled mess without very close inspection. I can understand the theory but in this case the new UI design simply creates a significantly worse user experience. Perhaps you could create a design selector (Classic, Modern, Dark Mode) or something if a new look is something you feel is necessary, because it was much more functional before.

Almost the best. I used Ovia for pregnancy and now parenting and have had a mostly positive experience! The app is intuitive and tracks everything I need it to track. It’s very similar to the pregnancy app so that’s made adjusting to it easily. The downside: the app has been un-openable due to technical difficulties almost once a month. This has made it difficult because I’m relying on the app to tell me how long it’s been since feeding and which side I need to nurse on. If these tech difficulties get resolved then I will be even more pleased with this app!

Love everything but the force close. I was prompted to use the app after using the Ovia pregnancy app! I love it , it’s been so helpful keeping track of nursing , sleep and everything else especially for the midnight feedings where I’m too tired to remember when my LO last ate. The horrible downside ... it lags 9 times out of 10 when I have it open and it force closes a lot . I keep up on the updates but it never fails at least a few times a day I can’t start the nursing cycle right away and right now I can’t even get the app to open . I’ve tried to open it and it force closes before I can even start the nursing timer . It’s such a bummer 😕.

So-so. Let me start by saying I’ve used all 3 of the Ovia apps. I started with the Ovia tracker for my menstrual cycles, then the Ovia Pregnancy app, now this one. I love that they are all integrated and available for use. I think they are pretty easy to use overall but what REALLY irks me about this app is the lag. It takes forever, even if I close all other apps, for this app to load anything. I have to click the breastfeeding timer 4-5 times before it registers I’ve touched it and then it has to load. When I’m done and I’ve saved my feeding session, again it lags to update the timing on the main screen. The same is for the diaper changes. For an app that isn’t that complex I don’t understand why there’s is such a heavy lag.

Background Refresh Losing Data. I have been using ask the Ovia apps: Fertility, Pregnancy, and Parenting for several years. While breastfeeding though, the Parenting app keeps refreshing and losing my start time and time fed on one side before I switch sides. I have turned off the, “Background Refresh,” setting and have even toggled it on and off, but it keeps refreshing. This is frustrating because I am trying to calculate math when it should be stored in the app. I do not understand how this is still an issue after I have tried several things to fix it. It also does not help that there is nowhere to contact anyone for support on the Ovia website. Can anyone please assist? Why is this still an issue? Can anyone fix this bug?

Happy. I do love the app, I just wish when maybe hitting the “home” option it took you back to the top of the screen where you can see everything that has been logged for the day. I also wish it broke up sleep times so if your child is sleeping through the night and go down around 8:30pm, wake up around 6:30am, that 8:30-11:59 would be logged for the day before and 12:00-6:30 would be counted for the current day. I do love that both parents are able to add to the app depending on who has the baby, however it hasn’t always synced up on both phones.

Fun to Check in On. I started with Ovia Fertility, then happily moved to Ovia Pregnancy shortly after and now here we are! I don’t use this app as much as the first two because #momlife haha – and also I find myself just trusting that mama intuition and my baby’s individual growth and development. But when I DO pop on, it’s fun to check off all the milestones – she’s 5 months and *mom brag* only has a few left to check off in the 6-9 month section! So anyway, good app; I like the articles too, since they usually cover most bases, like articles on breastfeeding (yay!) and also formula feeding.

Very Helpful. This app is easy to use and transition to especially if you used the Ovia pregnancy tracker, this app works very similar with the same home dashboard but since you are constantly tracking feeding sessions either bottle or breast and dirty diapers all that is a click away! Plus a timer for each breast to get you through that rough and tough engorged phase! I would def recommend this app to new moms and partners to help read along to acknowledge that YOU ARE NOT ALONE on this journey!-and the articles provided go into great detail week by week to help support you! DOWNLOAD IT NOW!

Good App. Ovia Parenting is a good app, I enjoyed the pregnancy app and now the parenting one, but parenting could be better with some small adjustments. Having the choice between breast feeding, bottle feeding, or both would be great so I don’t keep adding nap times to the breastfeeding section. It would also be great to see how long sleep has been going on besides how long the baby has been since they last woke up. Finally, having a notes section to document when vaccines are provided to make note of any sleep or feeding changes would be much appreciated.

Helped calm this first time mama. I found this app through the pregnancy app and it has been my favorite so far! It’s so easy to use and it’s so helpful that it let’s you track everything - what times baby is eating, how often they’re filling up that diaper and with what, sleeping, etc. It was also so helpful to have all of that information right on hand when at the Doctor appointments when they’d ask these specific questions. It definitely gave me a peace of mind. Highly recommend this app for first time parents!

Wish it had mood tracker and pump tracker. Please add a way to log how often you pump breast milk. That would be so helpful. Also a way to enter baby’s weight /height to see how much she grows. Given how much this app asks about parent mental health and the Edinburg scale, you would think it would offer a mood tracker just like Ovia pregnancy does but it doesn’t. It would be useful for tracking potential postpartum depression symptoms given it’s tough to identify if you’re experiencing when you’re in it so the objective data would be helpful. Also the feeding tracking is glitchy & not super user friendly so my husband won’t use it and we stopped leveraging it after about 2 weeks because it was annoying. If you open the feeding tracker it gets stuck on the time from when you open it so you can’t enter a later time unless you save or cancel and reopen the tracker. It would be good to have a pop up that asks whether you want to save your tracking entries because it won’t log it if you don’t hit save

Good but useless adds all the time. Good to track daily diapers, feeding and sleep. I wish it didn’t have so many useless formula adds since on my settings I put exclusively breastfeeding. It feels like the world just push us to don’t breastfeed our babies, and give them formulas, bottles and pacifiers instead. It’s all about money right, breastfeeding is for free. Parenting apps should ALWAYS support breastfeeding since it’s the best for the baby and if a parent put breastfeed only on the settings, cut off the formula adds and replace them for other useful stuff. There’s the customization setting for this reason right!? That’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

Awesome Appi. Love that Ovia is with you from fertility to pregnancy to parenting with their three apps. I used the pregnancy one throughout my pregnancy for my first one and will use it again for any future one. Getting used to logging info for the parenting one, I started with Medela and am working on getting some of the info transferred. I would like to see a pumping option as I both breastfeed and pump. Sometimes I need fo pump first to get some of the milk out or else it’s too overwhelming for my LO. Having a pumping tracker included will help me see how much I’m producing during the day. Maybe also having a time for each of the diaper changes with the ability to write notes in case there’s a bowel movement or something that’s questionable, we can try to figure out what could have caused it and bring it up with the dr. Other than those, love the app!

Update crashes app. I’ve been using this app since my daughter was born back in August. I’ve loved it so far, especially because my husband has access to the information on his phone too and can log diapers and bottles when I am not around. However, this recent update has made the app unusable. When I open the app, it shows that it is loading, but after a few minutes, it crashes and closes itself. The few times that it does show it has finished loading, it is frozen, and I can’t click on anything. I’ve tried closing the app and even restarting my phone, and nothing works. Please fix this ASAP!

None better than Ovia!. I found Ovia Pregnancy during my pregnancy and became addicted immediately. My hubby and I always looked forward to the weekly handprint and the object of the week in comparison to baby’s size. It made understanding pregnancy for a first time mom, like myself, so much more enjoyable let alone informative. My baby is now 8 months old and I currently use the Ovia Parenting app which also exceeds my expectations! It’s so fun to read the articles and see where my baby is at in terms of progress compared to other babies her age. The Ovia Chat is FANTASTIC ON BOTH APPS! It is great to have support and advice from other moms going through the same thing that I am. I also just downloaded the Ovia Fertility App a couple weeks ago as we are going to start TTC our second bundle of joy 😍😊 I would give all 3 of these apps a 6/5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yes..6!! Thank you 🙏🏻 to the developers of Ovia, you guys get it!

Love tracking all my kids. I love that I can keep track of logs for all of my kids: my three year old and my three month old twins! I enjoy the tips I learn about each of them in their different stages. But I wish there was a ”dark mode” feature for when I’m nursing my twins in the middle of the night. I open the app to time a feeding at 3 AM and I’m blinded by how bright the screen is and lose my night vision. Even with the brightness on my phone turned all the way down and “night shift” turned on, the screen is still really bright.

Great for first time mommas. First I gotta say I love this app! I found it by using the Ovia Pregnancy app which was great too but basically like the rest, nothing spectacular. I decided to give the parenting app a try when my LO was getting out of the NICU I was so worried about his weight and what how much he was eating. He is formula fed but love the fact I can keep up with both very easily plus if I had twins it will keep up with them individually! Now I do wish there was just a couple “bonus” things on here like the measurements of the formula. There needs to be more then just ounces. I would like a ml, since he’s a preemie he doesn’t eat much and to properly keep up with it I have to google the decimals all the time which is annoying and I wish it had alarms for feeding that way it would notify me if he went over so much time. Again preemie and even though he’s 2.5 months old still can’t do on demand yet, but getting there. Other then those small things I love it and recommend it to anyone I know that’s going to have a baby.

This app is amazing for busy moms + dads. This app asks you questions about different developmental milestones, and allows you to keep track of every celebration or trial. I found this very helpful with my second, because I was not spending all my free time reading blogs and websites on what my child should be doing, I could choose to read the emails from ovia parenting on my own time, or go into some of the surveys and questionnaires and look for resources on the ovia parenting app. This is an amazing app for all parents & I think everyone should use it!!

Need “notes” option. Great app! I especially love the breastfeeding timer. With that said, I do have some suggestions: 1) it would be helpful if the sleep tracker could show when they fell asleep instead of just when they last woke up. 2) we need a separate “notes” category for recording things other than milestones or special moments. For example, I had to give my little guy Tylenol, and I would have liked to have tracked that within the app instead of tracking it elsewhere. It would also be helpful for recording notes about feeding sessions or sleep.

Wish there was a dark mode.... I’ve mainly used this app for logging breastfeeding and found it very helpful. However my one bugaboo is that it doesn’t go into a dark mode for the night time. When I’m in a semi-dark room feeding and want to log the feeding, the screen is SO bright because of the white background. No matter how much I dim my screen or reduce the white point it’s still glaring. Moms and Dads are usually doing middle of the night feedings in a dimly lit room so I feel like a dark mode just makes sense. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet!

Love this app. I have used Ovia every step of the way through this pregnancy. I recommend them to everyone I can! Hands down the Parenting, Pregnancy, and Fertility Apps are the easiest to use. I do have two suggestions for the Parenting app. 1. I wish it had a bath tracker. Since babies only need to bathe every 2-3 days, it’s very easy to lose track of when you’re in Mombie Mode. 2. A misc notes section for each day. I do love the Parenting app but out of the three, I think it’s the least developed and could use some improvements.

Helpful info at the right time. I used the Ovia pregnancy app and then moved onto the parenting one when bub arrived. I find the info quite helpful as development proceeds - you find out things that your baby is doing are totally normal. There’s enough info to give you a good taste and decent explanation, but you’re not swamped with reams of text and there’s always suggestions for further reading if you want. Also helps to remind you what your baby might be capable of doing/understanding at certain ages, or what to expect in coming months. I don’t use the app everyday but I like dropping in and catching up on what I’ve missed.

Wonderful app!!. This app is great, I love receiving the daily emails about my babies development. Also has some helpful articles and I can see what milestones my baby is up to.

Mint. Good as

Stops working more than I can use it. Look. Great app to track feeding etc but it crashes and stops working more than I can actually use it. The amount of times I have tried to go into the app to check a feeding time and it just hadn’t worked is a joke. I’m ready to just use another app.

Love it!. I used the ovia pregnancy app and now the parenting one, I love love love them both and can't recommend them highly enough!

Room for improvement. Compared to the ovulation and pregnancy apps, this one is a little clunky. It often has error alerts, doesn’t save the data entered and the home page doesn’t update the time since last feed circles etc. The saving process for data entries could be simplified. Would be great if you could log babies measures: weight, height etc.

We need an Aussie version. This is great for logging nappies, feed times, and the length of feeds (live or retrospective). Most information (developmental milestones and infant health) is helpful and relevant however care is needed if you’re in Australia. Obviously medical emergency numbers are different but also some information regarding blood tests and diagnostic obstetric ultrasounds is incorrect if you live in Australia. I love this app however since both my babies were premmie and my brain was mush.

Not biologically appropriate advice. Deleted app after reading that I should be putting my 7 week old baby down sleepy but awake. Terrible advice. No thanks, I’ll stick to the biologically appropriate feeding to sleep thanks.

terrible app. doesn’t work properly, you get abused in the community by others. Not the app you want use.

Pictures PLEAAASE. I love the app and community I just wish we could add pictures? To better get our questions answered from fellow parents.

Latest update. Since the most recent update I can’t seem to be able to retrospectively add in feeds or sleep as it greys out certain times. This is frustrating as obviously I can’t always reach my phone at the time or forget to log. Please change this back.

Has to be connect to Internet. This app could be amazing if it would also work offline. It’s not healthy having your phone connected to Internet 24/7, so then you can’t capture night time feeds etc.

Good app but has issues. I use the app to log daily feeds/sleep/nappy changes. The app also always has an error “oops something went wrong” when opening the app. There’s improvements needed too: 1. Sleep recorder could use a timer like the feeding recorder as I have to write the time bub slept to know the start time and then input the data when bub wakes up. 2. Have to save every time. e.g. I log a feed - hit save. I log a nappy change - I hit save. Because there’s been occasions when it didn’t record the data as I didn’t hit save at every point.

Fabulous for a newborn. I have only been using this app for a few days but it’s been brilliant. I used the Ovia pregnancy app and found the kick counter and contraction timer features to be very helpful. So when the midwives in the hospital were asking how many dirty nappies/feeds my baby had had, I decided I needed a way to track it in my sleep-fuddled state. Ovia came through again - you can easily track and time your feeds, including which breast you last fed from and for how long. And you can count wet/dirty nappies with the tap of a button. Highly recommend based on my limited use of it so far.

Awesome app for new parents. Great app to follow your child development. Easy to use and it has interesting and relevant articles. Highly recommend.

Great Ap for any new parent. Easy to use and informative

Useful app. Useful trackers for feeding, diaper change, and sleep time. I love the milestone checks and and being able to tick off the milestone each time. Would love to have a sleep timer so that I don’t have to try and remember when baby fell asleep and perhaps a comment box for sleep as well (for sleep quality, how the nap was cut short say due to noise or diaper change, etc). It would be really helpful if we could see the feeding and sleep data in a time chart as well for easy comparison from day to day. Keep up the good work and thanks for creating the app!

Helpful but would love to have sleep timer. I love this app as it is simple and easy to use - especially to track feedings and milestones. I’d love if the sleep tracker could also be a timer rather than having to enter the start and finish times each sleep - it would be so helpful as there might be resettle times and sometimes on the go I forget what the start time was. Otherwise amazing app!

Very helpful!. Great app love the Brest feeding timer! Only feedback is I wish the sleep recording was a timer too rather then just data input !

Not worth the hassle. App did not provide info that was relevant to the way I parent. Numerous emails to delete my account have been ignored.

Handy tips and lots of info. Simply love the guidance and step by step parenting information.

Love it. I absolutely love the new feature to log time and amount for feeding and nappy changes it is easy to forget being a busy single mum but now I can keep track, no more wracking my brain trying to remember, it will really come in handy if I need to take my daughter to the doctor and they ask if there has been changes in wet and dirty nappies or feeding habits. Thank you so much Ovia for making life a little bit easier 😊

Using this daily. Using this daily for intake/output tracking & to monitor feeds. Needs to include somewhere to keep track of vomiting when bub is unwell. Has the ability to track other main things not sure why this isn’t included.

Ovia Apps. Brilliant suite of apps. I started with Ovia to track my ovulation to fall pregnant, then installed OviaPregnancy to track the next exciting phase. It was easy to decide to install OviaParenting because the other apps gave me so much useful info - I never felt the need for magazines, books or Dr Google. I’ve installed this app on hubby’s phone so he can also see what’s going on with Bubs progress.

Can't open app keeps crashing. App won't open, freezes on main screen then crashes

Great app. Great One

Great... but. the daily emails i receive... alot if the time the link to more info goes nowhere which us a shame coz id like to read more.

Helpful but can be better. Love the breastfeeding timer and the milestones even though some milestones are not relevant and you can’t get rid of them (i.e. we’re not using a pacifier) The articles are quite interesting and mostly relevant. The sleep tracker is worthless, it would be nice if it works the same as the breastfeeding timer… the poop and wee tracker sort of works, but it’s a shame that it doesn’t timestamp the wee and poops or that there’s an option for a nappy to have both.

Best pregnancy and parenting apps. Absoultely loved he pregnancy app it helped me all the way through my pregnancy and so excited to use the parenting app! Thankyou for making an app so easy to use !

Must have.. The milstones, handy tips and wonderful information help you understand what your baby is going through in this critical time.

Helpful and handy. It follows your child's development week by week and is fairly accurate and on cue! Some Great tips on things you may be wondering.

Sleep Timer. Love the app - would be better with a timer for sleep like feeding though! Who remembers what times their baby sleeps and wakes in the early days?!

Keeps Crashing.. Let Down. I was loving this app, until recently when it kept crashing & stopped responding after a good 5 minute load up when you open the app. So frustrating.

My Go To. This app is my go to app! I seriously learn something from it everyday since having twins. I definitely recommend it to anyone that's had a baby or babies 😊

Love it!. I used Ovia Pregnancy app with both of my pregnancies and then moved on to the Ovia Parenting App. I love it because i can track feeding times & how much was being fed (bottled formula) as well as how many wet and dirty nappies there are. It's so helpful! I cannot recommend this app enough. It's also very easy to use and navigate.

Great App from TTC to motherhood. Helped me alot !!

Ovia. I loved this app but at the end of it (which is not a reason to not get it because I found this very helpful) when my baby was born it sent me to the next app (which is great) but there was no summary or option to save my data which I would have liked as I was up loading pictures of the growth of my belly and other milestones. I now cannot see them which I think is a shame. I honestly really loved the app and found it to be spot on with its milestones and the growth of my baby and the app has a lot of great information.

Was great, then there was an ‘update’.... Crashes and then won’t load following recent update. Please fix it, it used to be a great app.

Love it. Love this app. Could use a sleep timer or something though as I find it hard to remember what time my newborn fell asleep so I just log it in my notes first and then once she’s had her sleep I can enter and save it.

Helpful app. Helpful app from pregnancy to birth. Now, my lil one is 1 yr old and still checking this app for info about child development and milestones 👌

Almost perfect. Really like using this app to track feed times, duration, sides, sleep and nappies. However there is just one thing letting it down - the left/right sides aren’t being recorded properly - past feeds are all recorded as left right even though I know I’ve been switching sides. I can’t get it to work using manual tracking and timer tracking. Would be great if the developers could fix this glitch! EDIT: developers couldn’t fix the glitch so I will find a new app to use

Bug. It was a 5/5 app until the most recent update which won’t let me record feeding times. Super frustrating when my baby is cluster feeding!

Great app for first time mom. I find this app pretty straightforward and convenient. I can keep track of my baby’s feeding and her pee and poop. It provides so many informative articles too which can be quite helpful for new parents. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who is struggling with parenthood.👍

Highly recommend. Very good but... This app has helped me through motherhood.. a lot! It’s very good but it has a few bugs, the feeding tracker sometimes does not show. After a few uses they start to appear again. Other then that I love the articles and milestone entries. Highly recommend to track feedings and diapers especially those frist few months.

Great app with great features, but not accessible to all disabilities. The app has awesome features, but its accessibility for parents with sight loss is minimal. The app works with VoiceOver, but in a very limited way. Someone blind would have difficulty accessing milestones, adding data for their child like ounces consumed, diapers soiled, etc. Still, the articles from the app are open-minded and sound for all demographics, with notable articles tackling difficult issues like adoptive parents, same-sex couples, and LGBTQ persuasions.

Often Doesn’t save daily updates. I can’t count how many times I enter in my daughter’s information throughout the day (food, sleep, diaper) and when I go to update it the day completely blank or didn’t save my last few. The information provided is relatively helpful but if you get this app for tracking your child’s day I don’t recommend it. Before the update I had no issues with the app but one day it updated and I’ve had issues with it ever since.

Great app, needs more. I love this app for so many reasons - the easy, colourful platform, the timers, the visual countdowns from the last time I nursed, the informative articles. But what I think this is missing that the Ovia pregnancy app had are the health check ins (these should be for baby), measurement options, and ESPECIALLY this app needs a daily note section (just like in the Ovia pregnancy app). If those elements were to be added, this would be a 5 star for sure!!!!!!

Unreliable. The app doesn’t save all info added. Even with restarting the app and phone, info either won’t update or will disappear. Would not recommend.

Pretty good. I like a lot about the app. Just wish you could edit breastfeeding times after you submitted them instead of only being allowed to delete them. Also be nice to add an option for things like gave vitamin D this feed

Why change something that works well?. I love this app, I used the ovia pregnancy as well and like the simplicity of it. It gives you all the necessary information without overwhelming you. I particularly like the color coding for each section. Sleep tracking is blue, diaper tracking is green etc. However, they kept the colors on the main page but changed to all white in particular sections. So when you want to track sleep, the icon is blue but it takes you to a white section. The same goes for all. I actually have to look twice whether i’m in the right section which is annoying. I found the colors were very useful, efficient and frankly more fun. If i could use the previous version, that would be great since the new change makes the tracking blunt, boring and confusing.

Loved until it stopped working. Loved this app so much for tracking feeds until it stopped working and couldn’t load all my tracker data...so frustrating, I recommend trying something more reliable

Overall Good App. I’ve utilized all of Ovia’s apps the parenting version is my least favourite as it crashes the most & when posting inquiries via the community the text allowed for a post are significantly limited.

Fantastic And Supportive App. Incredibly useful features. I appreciate the breastfeeding tool.

Great for first time parents. This app is a life saver. We use it to keep track of when our newborn ate last. With new parent brain fog, it’s a life saver to know how much and when she ate so we’re not over feeding her. The milestones and info blurbs are great to read too!

Useful but needs to improve. I love the tracking feature for diapers, sleeps, and bf of my baby, but a lot of the times I need to enter the information a couple of times because it doesn’t save it!

So impressed. I’ve been using the Ovia app through conception, pregnancy and now through the first weeks of our little bean’s life. I can not say enough about all three apps and their ability to keep you organized and informed every step of the way. Thanks ovia!

What happened???. It was a great app and both my husband and I found it useful to keep track of a lot of things. But now it doesn’t properly show how long ago a feed or bottle was. I also wish it showed the time of the diapers instead of clumping some of them together. It would also be great to see a sleeping trend. Like the weight trend in the pregnancy app.

Very good. Always on point from pregnancy to parenting..👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Improvement suggestion.. I love this app, it’s been great for keeping track of feedings. It would be awesome if the sleep tracker functioned the same way as the breastfeeding timer so that you don’t have to remember when the went down for a nap when you go to log it.

Could Not Survive Without This. This is seriously one of my most used apps on my phone. Very useful and highly efficient with staying on top of feedings, diaper changes etc. I love the milestones checklist too!

App having issues saving logged information. I really enjoy this app, however I’ve been having issues with it saving feeding times and sleep times. I add them in and save. When I refresh the content the info I put in isn’t there. Please review this issue and make an update!

Terrible app, doesn’t work at all.. I tried this app as I loved the pregnancy tracker app from Ovia. Everything was working as I needed it too until I tried to send a invite to my partner. I sent the email link at least 10 times not a single one went through over the course of several hours. I then tried to change my email address on my account to see if there was a problem with my account. The app says saved and then does whatever it wants. I deleted my account completely to set up a new one using my Apple ID login. It registered back to my old account which was supposed to be deleted??? And then I tried to set it up completely brand new and it says error and did nothing further. Incredibly disappointed!!!

Needs dark mode - otherwise good. It would be really helpful if the app had a dark mode setting. It is incredibly distracting and jarring in the middle of the night to have some much white light even after my screen brightness is turned way down.

Great for tracking!. This app has been a life saver! Our daughter has been in and out of the hospital throughout her infancy and has multiple specialists - it’s helpful to be able to track and go back to report how much she is eating, sleeping, and having wet/dirty diapers. I would give it 5 stars if the conditions section had more options available - it is quite limited and leaves out a lot of issues. Our little girl has epilepsy but it is not one of the noted conditions listed. I would pay for a version that has more specific conditions and information related to it - or ability to input and track medications

Awesome app!. Really brings my baby brain into order. Very relevant articles. Highly recommend.

Useful and easy, but could use a couple things. I like this app very much, but add functions to track solid foods (and if baby liked them or not) and weight (and length) would have put it over the top.

Love It. I really love this app but there are features I miss from ovia pregnancy. One being the calendar feature that tells you how many weeks you are. I would love to be able to move through the calendar and see how many weeks my baby will be on different dates. Another thing I miss is how easy it was to add milestones. I don’t love how the milestone feature is set up in this version.

Highly Recommend. This app is absolutely amazing for any parent. You can read something new every day and find little tips to help you understand your toddler more.

Great app to help sleep deprived parents!. I like this app it has really helped being able to track feedings. I do miss having the widget and being able to access certain things with out having to go all the way into the app, being able to say start a breast feeding timer from a widget would be amazing!

The only app you need!!!. I loved Ovia through my pregnancy and moved to the Ovia parenting app after. Super helpful and the milestones are an awesome feature

Suggestion. Hi! There should be a section to track playtime/tummy time as it’s also very important :) Great app I use it everyday with my 3 month old Logan AKA the Wolverine

Great, but still lacking. Loved Ovia for fertility and pregnancy but this one seems like it’s not gotten a facelift in a while. Would be nice to track more of baby’s information (weight, measurements, etc).

Love it!. This app got me through my pregnancy and now as my baby is turning into a toddler it is still my favourite app for parenting info. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Love it. Love this app but please make it dark mode compatible!!

SO Useful!!. I used the Pregnancy app to keep myself as informed as possible through a tough pregnancy. When my LO was born, I switched over to the app and daily tidbit emails. It has been so helpful with parenting, helping achieve milestones, and caring for my LO. 5/5 stars, would recommend to any parent !

App good community not. Loved the app itself but the community has been horrible…the other moms that comment are so rude and judgemental, how is the pregnancy apps community so much better than the parenting one! Yikes

Useful but needs dark mode for night!. This app is super useful, especially for first time parents. However it would be super nice if it went dark like other apps within the iPhone. I am tired of being blasted by white light at 3am while I track nursing time.

Three times. I’ve used the Ovia pregnancy app, fertility app, and parenting app for all three of our boys. I still find new value and information! Highly recommended.

Great app! Great content. A more primitive looking app design then others but 100% better/more content. Great daily check in app. Really happy it was suggested to me.

Could be better. Love the fertility and pregnancy apps from Ovia but I feel like there could be some more details added for the parenting app compared to some others.

Good read!. As a new parent, I am very interested in getting to know more about the development of the baby. Thanks to this app, I’m able to learn more and more everyday and it also gives me opportunity to read more as I am not much of a reader at all unless if it’s something interesting and something knowledgeable.

Great Tool. I have really loved using the app! A great way to track the important things with your little and more than once, it helped me know why she was crying. It would be nice to have a way to easily track food (not just milk) and dark mode compatible especially for night feedings. It loses a star from the new update that makes it harder to see if the breastfeeding “play” button started or stopped, I liked it changing colour to more easily check.

Great Overall. All said, this is a very handy app. It’s very helpful to keep an eye on baby’s development, and an excellent tracking tool for feeding, etc. There are areas for improvement, but they are minor overall (the content could use a good editor at times for grammatical issues and other errors, for example).

Great app for tracking feeding and sleep!. I love this app! It has a timer for breastfeeding, volume for bottle feeding, tracks poops and pees, and sleep! I use it most for sleep, especially in the later months where wake windows get longer. I would have loved it more if there was graph option to show trends in data, such as feeding duration and frequency, and sleep duration and frequency.

Ovia for president!. Seriously, Ovia is the best parenting app on Earth. I love the short texts written with a very good sens of humor. Always a pleasure to read.

Needs Dark Mode - Otherwise Good!. I use the app every day to track feeding and naps, but it needs a dark mode option. Two thirds of the time I’m feeding my baby it’s dark or dimly lit and the screen is incredibly distracting for her (even on lowest brightness). Otherwise it’s everything you could need!

Love this app!. I love getting the daily emails - they are short and sweet and to the point and provide me with essential information that is exactly on track with my son’s progress so I really feel like I’m learning as I’m going and have the necessary information to reach each new stage.

Helpful. Great app with lots of info and tracking tools. Please make a dark mode for night time tracking, the white is blinding for me and baby. Thanks!

Needs a notes section. I love how easy this app is to track valuable I formation. However, a “Notes” section would be helpful if you want to add other information about your day, such as baths, food you ate, etc. Thanks for the great app.

Easy to use. I liked switching from Ovia Fertility, Pregnancy and parenting. I wish the app would have options for solids & a dark mode for night time. Very good for tracking feedings and making notes. I like that my partner can also enter off of his phone.

Breastfeeding side used malfunctioning. Great app overall but the last side used breastfeeding feature has become glitchy. Hopefully something that can be corrected in an update.

Obsessed. I had Ovia period and fertility tracker for the longest! When we decided to try for a baby I entered it into my app and we got pregnant THE FIRST DAY TRYING with the help of the ovulation charts 😍 I used Ovia throughout my entire pregnancy and it was so helpful, as a first time mom there’s SO many questions and questions you’d like to ask anonymously without judgement. Proud to say I have my 5 day old son here on my chest as I write this review and I’ll be using the parenting app as well ( not as often as I’m a bit busier now) 🤗

Hooray for Ovia’s Inclusivity!. I rarely provide qualitative feedback for apps, but I felt compelled to give praise to Ovia creators and product team for understanding the importance of using diverse imagery of parenthood. I’ve seen multicultural families, mothers in burqas, families with disabilities, etc. Your tips and advice and information are very helpful and extremely relevant, but when you see a picture of a family representative of yours, it gives you a greater sense of belonging to a new arena that new parents may not be familiar with. Kudos to you all and keep up the great work!

Super handy. I really do like this app a lot, it keeps track of the things that I need it to, and in detail. My only complaint is that if I record a time for feeding my baby, I have to close out the app so that the time catches up and I can update it. So say I get on at 12:30, and I log something. I come back at 2:30 to log again, but the app is still stuck in 12:30 so I have to close down the app and open it back up, basically restarting the app so that time catches up.

Freaking Great Tracker!!. I love this app—I’ve been using Ovia in one of its versions since I got pregnant and now with a toddler as we’re trying to manage the growth and development of our family, it’s invaluable! I’m so glad we’ve got all the info from when our first was little as that time passes in a blur. Everything I thought would stand out in my memory is faded years later as we’re thinking about having a second one. So so so glad I had this resource than and now!

Misleading articles. I’ve stumbled upon a few articles where the subject title has nothing to do with the body of the article. For instance, I was reading one about when to get a Pap smear, and it had nothing in the body of the article pertaining to when I would need to get a Pap smear. Really strange that there is no one proofreading the content they publish. this is the second time I’ve seen this and it’s honestly a waste of my precious time as a new mom with a newborn baby. On a positive note: I like that I can add milestones easily

Not as good as Ovia Pregnancy. Like so many other reviewers, I decided to use the Ovia Parenting app because I was so in love with the Ovia Pregnancy app. When we had our baby the hospital told us we had to keep track of how frequently he was eating and going to the bathroom. Due to this we used Ovia Parenting for baby’s first month of life. I stopped using it 2 weeks ago due to the fact that it was frequently not saving feedings which is a problem when my husband takes over at night. Disliked 👎🏻: - no way to track medicine - no way to track doctors appointments - sleep log is not a timer, you are to remember the start and end time and put them in - stopped saving entries - no way to download logs - does not show total oz consumed Liked 👍🏻: - Husband and others easily added to the account - Easy to log feedings and diapers - Articles relevant to me -Can control who can enter data and who can just look

Love it, but. I used Ovia Pregnancy which led me to this after I gave birth. I love the options of keeping track of my baby’s sleep and feedings. My only wish it that you would make it where we can record the start time of their sleep and then later add the end. We use apps of other resources to help us keep track, so me having to remember when he went to sleep and then woke up after the fact is insane. Add a button to start sleep and the option to click when he wakes would be great.

Very frustrating. I came to this app from the pregnancy app, where the users are so involved and comment on everything so quickly. It brought me ridiculous amounts of comfort, so I was very excited for the parenting app. Through no fault of the app developer (the app itself is wonderful), the other users are not active at all. I’ll post a question and have maybe one out of 30 times been responded to. It’s insane and useless. Your better off with the pregnancy app because some have multiple children and will actually provide some input, unlike the parenting app which is filled with people who don’t use it or communicate.

Almost perfect. I started with Ovia’s fertility app and then used their pregnancy app from the start, so using their parenting app was sort of a given. I track the normal daily stuff and I love to check off his milestone achievements. The only thing I wish this app had was a way to add doctors appointments to his calendar and the details of each appointment (vaccines, doctor’s notes, etc) like on the other two apps. I would like to have all that info in one place instead of using a separate app for a calendar.

Easy to use for first time parents. Just had our first child. Used the cycle tracker, used the pregnancy tracker. I really like this app. I wish there was a spot in the app where you could easily view and compare your child’s stuff over time. To be able to view how their sleep or diapers or fool intake has changed over time. Still, the app is good already. I really enjoy it. Just think it could be better with that function.

Breastfeeding tracker doesn't update. I've been using this app for 2.5 months, it was suggested through the ovia pregnancy app when I had the baby so I downloaded it out of convenience. I've noticed that the tracker is slow to update so if I rely on that to know which side to start on, it's often wrong. Also, when you manually add a feeding session, if you don't remember to click save, the session is erased. As a new, sleep deprived parent, the additional click is often forgotten, in my opinion it would be nice if it automatically saved when you added the entry.

Update killed the app. I used Ovia fertility, and pregnancy apps, so the parenting app was an easy transition. Despite it lacking some features seen in other parenting apps, this one has been my go to since my son was born. That being said, since the last update, it is completely unusable. It starts to open, and then crashes. I’ve grown used to the app taking forever to load, and crashing (regularly). Expecting that eventually it would be updated, and work properly, I took it I’m stride. However, it has been a week since the update, and no fix has been issued. At this point, it’s likely I will just find another app to use.

Works pretty well. I’m really enjoying this app. I like the breastfeeding timer. What’s with the new design though? It came through when I was at my sisters house, and thought it was some sort of low bandwidth setting. It looks weird! It used to be so clean. From a UX perspective, this change doesn’t make much sense. A suggestion: when you give a bottle and track sleep, it keeps that “last fed” and “woke up” bubble forever. I guess I feel like it should reset daily like the diaper counter. I guess maybe if I exclusively bottle fed it would make sense how you have it. Maybe there could be a way to tell the app if you’re breastfeeding or bottle feeding and it’ll default which one resets every day? Just a thought. I like for it to be clean, so it bothers me that it says last feed over 12 hours ago... That’s it! Great job, though! Nice app.

Great App. There is so much information out there and as a new parent I love how they give you bite size pieces of information. A little tid bit every day helps to educate, but also not feel overwhelmed. I use to look daily at the app, but have gotten busier. Now when I log in I scroll back to see the articles I have missed. It’s always great to have a gauge of when my baby should be doing certain things and a heads up on what is coming next in their learning spectrum. I would definitely recommend.

Needs Improvements. I LOVE the Ovia pregnancy app and even the fertility app, but my main frustration with this one is how you can’t log doctor’s appointments. It would be really nice to have a feature similar to the pregnancy app where I can log those and it had a section to add questions for the doctor. I actually haven’t used this app in a while because it doesn’t have what I need, but if doctors appointments were added I would be back on it in a heartbeat! Someone else mentioned logging a time for diapers, and I think that would be helpful too!

Love the app, use it multiple times a day, but watch for glitches. I have loved Ovia. I’ve been using is consistently for 2.5 months now. I appreciate the convenience and not having to remember when my babe ate last, how many diapers, etc. There are a couple glitches when the app. For example, it may say last used left side and be incorrect. Overall, love the app just still have to go back and double check things.

Used all three Ovia apps. I first started with the Ovia fertility tracking app. It worked out really well and was very informative as we were trying to conceive. After we conceived I’ve been downloaded the Ovia pregnancy app and that was also informative and had really cool ways to track my babies growth progress. Now she is here and I have downloaded the Ovia parenting app, I have very good faith in this app being everything that I need. All three of these apps together gave me wonderful tidbits about what to expect in each stage of my journey.

Love this service!!!. I cannot speak highly enough about Ovia!! The live support is outstanding. I recently had the sleep coach and the lactation coach who I’d been working with go out of their way to consult with one another prior to a sleep coaching call so that the coach would not be giving me advice that was contrary to my lactation needs. I was blown away to hear that they’d taken that extra step! I truly love this app and recommend it for all new parents.

UI needs some improvements. The feed is very cluttered and it’s not intuitive where to find the info you want most (like times of feedings, which lives in the calendar section). Also the overview at the top is often inaccurate - diaper count not showing up, side of last feeding is incorrect even after I double check and delete and re log it, it will stay say the wrong side was the last one fed. Also it would be nice to have a total amount eaten at the top (both number of feedings and amount - if bottle feeding).

Ok, not terribly inclusive.. The app is fine. I wish the bottle/etc. recording was not a two-step process (add it and then save) because more than once I’ve forgotten that it requires the “save” step even though what I’ve entered has moved from where I add the info to the ongoing tally of ounces consumed. It’s also not terribly inclusive. Lots of articles talk about “you and your partner”, but… babies enter families in lots of ways, not all of which include a partner. I wouldn’t mind feeling like this app is speaking to me as well as a so-called nuclear family.

Great for all mamas. I love this app! My favorite feature is that you can add others to the app to input info. It makes it so easy if someone else is watching my LO that way I can keep up with how their day is going and how much they have eaten/slept and it’s all in one place! The only feature so far that I have found it’s missing is a way to track temperature readings and medicine given!

Definitely recommend for first time moms. I’m a first time mom and this app has the resources to help you and educate you if needed. Being a parent with your first baby comes with pressure because you’re trying to organize yourself in a way you can be the best parent your child needs. Because of Ovia apps from fertility to pregnancy and this parenting app, it has made it less overwhelming and more of like a journey you can visually organize right in front of you as you plan to have a family.

not as robust as their pregnancy app. After using ovia pregnancy for multiple pregnancies and testing out a few other nursing/ post parting apps for tracking baby’s progress, I was let down by ovia parenting. It has some great features but is lacking in a few key areas. 1. It’s difficult to look back at the activity for the day, especially nursing. 2. There is no trend analysis to see how baby is progressing with sleep or feeding over time. 3. I expected more information in my feed about interactions/relationships between siblings.

Love this app!. I started out using the pregnancy app (along with various others) and it was by far my favorite, so I decided to give the parenting app a shot (as a new and first time parent). I love being able to keep track of feedings and soiled diapers, especially at the beginning. The articles are very informative and the app helps with keeping track of milestones! You can do as little as you want with the app or you can do as much as you want! I definitely recommend this to any new parent.

Love other Ovia Apps, but not in love with Ovia parenting. I came from using the Ovia fertility to the Ovia pregnancy, and loved them both! So naturally, when our baby boy was born I downloaded the Ovia parenting. Unlike the other Ovia apps, it is hard to put in information and is not very user friendly. It doesn’t have an easy way to track diapers, feedings, sleep or pumping etc so I use another app for that, hatch baby which is awesome! It also doesn’t have a place for weigh tracking etc. I still keep this app as I love the content and articles. If this app could figure out the tracking components it would be 5 stars!

Good App, room for small improvements. I initially used the Ovia Pregnancy App and TOTALLY loved that app! Everything I was experiencing or needed to learn and know was taken care of through the curated content and milestones. With this App, I would like there to be some more added functionality’s like: - adding items to the calendar that you want to track or keep notes of (especially when the paediatrician has asked for something!) who can remember anything once your bundle of joy leaves you sleep deprived!? - a food tracker, alongside the breastfeeding and bottle feeding. So you can note down quantities (and a description!?) especially when starting the process - make the sleep tracker easier to use when you exit the app and come back in. - place to add multi vitamins and medications. I’m sure other mama’s may have some other functions to make this App the only one to use!

This app kept me sane during pregnancy. This was a fantastic app. I found it very early on in my pregnancy and just loved it. From an app perspective is easy super user friendly, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing, and from an expecting mother side it thought ahead to so many things I was looking for: articles to read, ways to track my symptoms and health, reminding me when to start thinking about the next big thing. I recommend it to all my pregnant friends.

Missing one thing. I’m loving the Ovia parenting app to track baby’s feeding, diapers and sleep. Love the option to record breastfeeding times as well as bottle feeding with breast milk option. That said, this app is missing one thing to track and record and that’s pumped milk! I’ve seen this option in other apps, however they’re much less complete in other aspects than Ovia. Maybe the app developers can add pump recording on the next update to make Ovia one stop shop and the perfect parenting app! 😉

I will love ovia until the day I die lol. I used Ovia pregnancy and now parenting and I love it. I’m not sure there’s a better pregnancy / parenting app. I love the updates I love the milestones the videos the articles. Everything. The community is great and everything about Ovia is just amazing. The people who made this app are incredible people and I love you all. I dunno how long Ovia goes with age in kids but I’m gonna keep using it as long as I can and for any possible kids I have in the future. I love you Ovia.

Great Resource for Momma’s. I love being able to track each feeding and the diaper logs in order to better inform her pediatrician. I wish there was a log you could add for pumping/storing your milk but otherwise it has been great and very beneficial to have all the logs in one place. I also find the articles and community very helpful as a first time momma with all the extra resources. I have used the Ovia Fertility and Ovia Pregnancy apps in the past so I knew this app would be a good one as well.

I love the Ovia app ❤️. I love this app!! 💜 I still use it now that my baby is 14 months old and will continue as long as It lets me cus it’s that awesome!! I plan on using it for more future babies that come because the information it has is so useful. It’s helped me develop my baby into an independent baby and because of it my baby can feed her self, drink out of a straw(regular cups as well) and is learning so much more things. I always recommend this app to future mommies cus it’s just that great!! I love all the information it’s so helpful!!! 💕

Comprehensive and easy to use. This app is great and has already made some helpful updates since I started using it. I mostly use the breastfeeding and sleep trackers but used the wet and dirty diapers tracker for the first few weeks home from the hospital. The only reason I left off a star is because the app does not work offline. This means if you are on the airplane, camping, or on a road trip through rural areas, it will not work. I keep the information in “Notes” and add it later, but that is the big improvement I would like to see in a future update.

Great app!. I loved the pregnancy app, and this one is *almost* as good! The only downside is the community section isn’t as active or helpful as the pregnancy version. BUT!! The articles here are 100% more helpful, and the daily tracking for my baby’s feedings/diapers/sleeping is a life saver. My husband and I both have the app connected on our phones so both of us are able to track/follow as the day goes on. Definitely recommend for parents!!

Fantastic but major glitches. I really love using this app to help track my babies feedings and diaper changes. Its extremely helpful for me to have a timer when breastfeeding and be able to reflect when my baby last ate, which breast we used, and for how long. HOWEVER, the app glitches pretty much every time I use it. It will freeze or just not load entirely. It is extremely inconvenient and it makes me want to use another app entirely. I hope this gets fixed soon

Great, but... doesn’t sync with pumping apps. This has been a wonderful app so far (for the most part). It looks complicated, but once you start playing around with the features it becomes easier to use. We really like the milestone tracker and the timely articles. The one thing I wish this app had is a sync feature with the Medela and Willow pumping apps. I have to double enter my pumping data to have it all in one place. Ovia engineers, please consider adding a sync feature with pumping apps!

Recommend 🙌🏼. This helped me take most of the thinking out of my day so I can focus on the two kiddos. When I worried about her hydration in the first week I was able to go back and see how many wet diapers to feedings she had, which eased my mind. I wish the sleep was easier to track instead of remembering when she went to bed so I could enter the data when she wakes up. I love how you can complete milestones or enter individual memories!

Love! Highly recommend!. This is great for me being a first time mom! I love being able to track her sleep, how much she eats, and how many times she goes pee or has a bowl movement! I also love how can ask as many questions as I want, sometimes you get some rude responses but you can flag comments or if you want to your able to delete your post. You get milestones too and can track those! So much you can do!! I love it! Highly recommend!!!

Font size. App mostly does what I need but the font size is horrendous. When checking time since last feeding it’s nearly impossible to see because the font size is so very small. It’s is my only real complaint but it is a pretty major one since it impacts me daily over and over and over again. Also a dark mode would be nice. The white background can add to the difficulty in reading the times when you’re waking up in the middle of the night.

I love the app until it stopped working. I have been using Ovia since I was trying to get pregnant and have loved the pregnancy and parenting one. I especially love that I can ask questions to other users. I am giving it 3 stars because after 3 months of using it all of my data is gone, the Home Screen is blank and when i reached out to their tech support and sent screen shots they ignored me. I deleted the app and installed it again and nothing has worked so I am moving onto something else. Their CS is terrible and it’s really disappointing.

Great Apps, but.... I used all three Ovia apps starting with fertility to get pregnant. They are easy to use and super convenient for mom’s on the go. That being said, my little one was born 10 weeks premature and so all of the developmental milestones I see are for a baby that is 2 1/2 months older than where she is. I wish there were a way to account for her adjusted age when it comes to her milestones. As a first time mom I find myself relying on Google and other websites to track her development rather than Ovia’s provided information.

New Mama? You NEED This!!. This was ESSENTIAL for me with my first baby. I was so worried about making sure that she was eating, pooping, peeing and sleeping normally for her age! I was SO beyond tired there was no way I could keep track of everything without writing it down! This helped so much. Plus, it allowed my husband to see how she was doing on sleep, diapers, and feedings while he was at work. He too was worried about her and wanted to make sure she was doing good while he was away! The age appropriate tips and tricks were also way helpful!

Love it. I use this app a lot! It keeps me informed on any and all milestones for all of my kids! Sometimes I wonder if it can read my mind, because I’ll be thinking of something with one of my kids and it will pop up when I open the app! The articles are very helpful too and have helped me when it seemed like the long nights would never stop or if I thought something was wrong! I highly recommend this app!

Love it but there are some issues. I've used Ovia Parenting for both my kids to track their breastfeeding sessions in the early days. I love this feature but sometimes the app incorrectly displays which breast they ate from last so I have to scroll down and find the entry to double check each time. Not a huge deal in the long run but a little annoying. Like other users I would love a dark mode feature as well!

I'm in love with Ovia. Since I knew I was pregnant, that actually I was 3 weeks, this was the first app that I downloaded. I have Ovia pregnancy, fertility and parenting and can't be more in love with this ovia family. I felt that they were with me during my 9 months of pregnancy each week and today 21 months of my baby girl. Every week I looked in the app to check how my baby was developing, they have amazing articles, and I always recommend ovia to my new pregnants friends. Congratulations to the ovia family to make an amazing app.❤️

Good but not great. I have used Ovia for tracking my period, ovulation, pregnancy and now have been using the parenting app for 2 weeks. It’s an easy way to keep track of diaper changes and feedings but I have found the app slows my phone down tremendously and will even freeze it. That’s not ideal when I’m trying to click start timer with a screaming baby in my arms. I would also love the ability to track pediatrician appts and immunization schedules, maybe a development tracker too like on the pregnancy app. My biggest complaint though is the freezing of my phone. Really hoping that gets fixed in an update.

Sleep Tracking needs improvement. I love the Ovia apps. Used the fertility one to help us get pregnant, used the pregnancy one all 9 months & now using the parenting one to track our little ones feedings & diapers. The timer on the breastfeeding portion is wonderful! We use it during every feeding. Would LOVE if tracking their sleep was more user friendly. You should be able to enter a start time & save it. And then be able to come back when they have woken up to enter the end time. I’m not using this part of the app currently because it’s not the most streamline to use.

Accurate and Easy to Use. I love and recommend all of the Ovia apps. The period/fertility tracker, the pregnancy, and the parenting app are all accurate and easy to use. The one thing I would like to change if I could is the relevancy of the articles posted. Some of them are not relevant to me and I wish I could personalize the feed in that way. This does not take away from the usability of the app though which is why I still gave it 5 stars.

Annoyed. My entire pregnancy, I used the Ovia Pregnancy app and it worked absolutely fine. Switching over to the Parenting app after giving birth has been hugely disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. When trying to start the timer for the breastfeeding option, you have to tap at least 3-4 times for it to come up, the same with the pee/poop option. I waited to write this review because I saw an update was available and mentioned big fixes, it’s still exactly as it was before I updated. Very annoyed with this app so far, hopefully you’re able to fix these issues for other people.

Needs an update. I saw that some others have posted similar issues. I’ve always loved this app, through pregnancy and parenting. The customer service has always been phenomenal as well. But recently the app has been slowing down. Today, I can’t even use it. When it opens, it either takes too long to load and shuts down on its own or it opens but is frozen and I cannot select anything. I’ve also noticed in the past week it doesn’t always save data that it says it has saved (e.g. past feedings that I logged). Please update it so I can keep using it! It’s always been a favorite of mine.

Greatest app for pregnancy and parenting. we’ve tried many apps paid and unpaid. So far, Ovia provides the most accurate and reliable information about pregnancy and parenting an infant. Almost all articles are based on research. Provides excellent tips when you are feel lost in this baby making and raising journey. One suggestion: it would be helpful if there is a time track for all logs. For instance, time stamp for breast feeding, poops and peeps. Thank you! Ovia team. Excellent job. Keep it up.
