Constant freezing and crashing ruins otherwise great app. The user interface, personalization and buy flow of this app is one of the best - unfortunately, it can’t make up for the insanely slow page load times, constant freezing and occasional full crashes of the app. Unfortunately the bugs are so bad that it’s basically non-functional, and much easier to just shop on the Selfridges webpage using a mobile browser. Hoping they’ll eventually get around to fixing these issues, because they have great products and this app has great potential!

Quiet poor programming. Till these date, I have to say the website programming is really outdated for high volume online consumer capacities compared to most of online shopping apps. It takes long to respond, webpage occasionally collapses. Information is not loaded properly, etc.

So many bugs. Lots of issue with the app. The wishlist gets erased sometimes. It glitches often. One time I changed password, and it worked on the app, but then didn’t work on the website. Please fix things.

Quick and easy. Love to shop at Selfridges website. Very friendly and smartly done. Sweet, quick and easy to have. I never had a problem shopping at your website. Thanks HHR

Frustrating. I’ve just spent 45 minutes trying to purchase an advertised sale item. Apparently the order won’t go through until a size is designated, but no size options are offered. Left an email and hope I get a prompt response. as it’s noted that the item is the last one available.

Can’t place an order from the US. I am unable to place an order neither through this app or the website. I have tried 11 times using 5 different cards issued by 3 different banks. I have tried checking out using Visa, MC, Amex directly and via Apple Pay. I even tried PayPal on their website and that too got reversed right away. I know this seems obsessive but they have some items I want for the price I like. Its 2023 the payment technology should just work effortlessly.

One of the best shopping apps!. I love Selfridges! I love that i can get deliveries abroad and that with their Selfridges plus, one can get free delivery all year long. As long as your app is updated regularly it works well! Easy to use! Would definitely recommend using it.

Love the store and selection, app has glitches. The selfridge brand and selection is amazing. However, the app is glitchy. Wishlist function doesn’t work, sometimes my cart will become empty. Searching for brand takes a long time, clicking the search results takes even longer. Come on tech team, set some basic SLOs for your endpoints and regression test your app properly.

Last update. The last update is good but the feature of blurred screen when browsing products is very annoying and cumbersome and uncomfortable to the eye

TRASH! Garbage! AWFUL!!. App always freezes during checkout. I tried on multiple devices and multiple networks and different forms of payment. Also reached out to customer service via app, email, Instagram and FB. NO Response. Is this a scam??

Problems on return. This app has a problem of making a return! When I try to go back to look into the items I wanna return it’s always says it can’t load the details of the items! And once u requested for the return they attached the return label for just once...if u don’t print it at the moment then u won’t able to go back and find it again!! That make it so hard to make a return!

Error in my cart. It used to be a great app, for a couple of weeks now I’m having so many problems with my cart, whenever an item in your cart is out of stock I can’t seem to remove it, and when i try to purchase the other items in my cart it asks me to delete the out of stock items which I’m not able to delete.. Hope they fix it soon

The browser is too slow. The browser is very slow as I can not search and buy from the first attempt, I do more than try to buy one product

Unable to view products by brand. Feedback for developers: tapping on any brand results in 0 items. Difficult way to shop.

The best. For the last 4 years I have been using the Selfridges app... and I plan on using it for the future. It’s so easy.

App not worthy of Selfridges’ name. Still a very glitchy app. Good luck looking up orders, press a button and go out a kettle on, because you’ll be waiting for ages. A very frustrating app. There are frequent issues adding items to your basket and often items show as available only they can’t be bought. The ease of accessing tracking data is clumsy. Please do more to sharpen the interface between your inventory system and the app.

Selfridges app. Really enjoy the app..but my main complaint is that everytime I want to delete a item off my wishlist..I get prompt “that the products I chosed to be removed can’t be deleted “ and would actually add the items back to my wishlist which I fine very weird.

Great app but needs improvement. Really great app and use it all the time! Just needs improvement in the wish list section as it glitches a lot as in items you have deleted will come back and in multiples. Also the limit on the wish list needs to be extended. Hopefully they will be fixed in a newer update

Easy shopping but not perfect. I think the app makes the shopping experience nice but the wish list function, which I consider essential, don’t work. I added to the wishlist the first time I downloaded the app and I can’t add or subtract since then. It’s stuck.

More improvements needed. I do online shopping almost every day. Selfridges is one of the apps which is not that user friendly. I can’t find highest discount in the sort list and some time the brands doesn’t work for filtering. Also I only get the message in Selfridge instead of email or text message notification from the website about all the sale events or other related notifications like other apps do. This might be my own phone issue. But all of these will definitely impact my shopping experience. Thanks!

Fast delivery overseas!!. I am one to order products frequently. I find this app easy to navigate and I enjoy the speedy delivery of my products. I love this app!

Your advertising leaves a lot to the imagination!! Does not come across as “must haves” . Beautiful merchandise not shown to its advantage in any way. Need some models and a great photographer. Can’t buy. I cannot get into my shopping cart no matter how many times I’ve tried on different days it keeps saying that they don’t have what I’m looking for or I’m misspelling, the fact is I’m not trying to search I already added what I want to buy and I can’t do it , I’m sure everyone has that issue, so what is the point of the the whole store of you can’t make a purchase. I was so excited that I found my yes baker coat on there for like %20 off but I can’t buy it 😢2 stars is because the store has great prices but I can’t purchase, I will definitely update my review If this issue is fixed, I’m doubting it cuz it’s been about a week and nothing’s changed ☹️

Worst customer service. Doesn’t accept rerun once you opened. If you are trying to sell is US then the return policy should be apply to this company as well. We have the right to return the product that is not suitable. They refuse the return and sent back my order.

Extremely easy to use. This is one of the best shopping apps I’ve used. It’s very quick, efficient and the UI is so easy to use. I really enjoy having it compared to most shopping apps.

My favorite 🧡⭐️. Thank you for such great online store that offers a variety of products and brands that one’s needed. Hopefully all products such as van cleef and bose (electronic) include in delivery to SA.

The app is a complete wreck. This used to be one of my favourite shopping apps. The experience was seamless, following you favourite and getting your cart worked fine. But for a few months now it became a complete mess. - My cart always appears empty even though in my account I added items to my cart and can still see them from the web page. - Favourite has the same issue, always show empty even though in reality it’s nearly full. Now some of the updates are great, like the stock notifications (not sure they work though) And the fact that price and to cart and out of stock appear in wish list. Also I am not happy about items suddenly not shipping to specific country even though they used to the day before but that’s not the App it’s the commercial at Selfridges that needs to revise that

Slow app. Extremely slow speed on app and melts under heavy usage as it did the day the sale was announced. And keeps giving error messages around adding to the basket for USA customers.

QUITE a Bad App. This app is quite bad. 80% of the time, it tells me there is an error in accessing my shopping cart. Same for trying to browse through products. It works about 20% of the time, enough to keep me hoping it’ll work well enough just this once for me to place an order with it. Hasn’t happened.

You can’t actually shop on the app.. The app has shopping functions but you can’t place an order on it. Every time you add stuff to your shopping bag, there is an error. Sometimes you can’t even access your own profile on the app. I have also noticed there are different product offerings on the app than on the website. So if you find a product on the app, it’s not always available on their website. Not sure what meaningful purposes this app really serve.

Better than Sephora!. I live in the states and I buy all my beauty and makeup from Selfridges! They carry great brands...their shipping is faster than almost anything I can buy online here and their service is awesome! I’m a total convert😉

Wishlist does not update. I do enjoy shopping here, especially with a large advantage in term if its pricing. However the app is not really user friendly, nor is the website. There needs to be quite a lot of debugging. What’s most annoying to me are 1. You can’t delete anything from the wishlist. They will come back after a refresh. This happens both in the app and using a browser. 2. Sometimes the webpage does not have the shopping bag icon or sign-in/register icon.

App does not let you pay with PayPal!. Every time I try to place an order on the app through PayPal, my payment is confirmed via PayPal but I am never sent an order confirmation. This is not an issue on the Selfridges website. I only buy using PayPal so it is annoying that I can only add items to my cart on the app and then go to the website to actually place the order. Please fix this issue

App Barely Works. I love Selfridges, it’s one of my preferred retailers but their app is a pain to use. Every other time I try to log in it would tell me the password is incorrect; then my cart wouldn’t load or would be emptied out. Overall, just a pretty bad shopping experience. Which is a shame because I tend to scroll and shop a lot on my phone.

The worst customer service ever. The app is okay, besides I was always having tousle to review my order history. However, their customer service is just terrible. I bought something before as a present for my boyfriend’s birthday, Selfridges sent out the wrong item and wouldn’t resend the correct one until they receive my return. When I actually returned it, the thing I originally bought was out of stock...

Can shop internationally. It was my favorite shopping app but now I can’t shop internationally!!! Try to contact them and escalate my issue ti their IT department but no one contacted me or solve the problem

It’s not made for shopping. I have been having so many issues lately logging in, staying logged in, placing orders and accessing my wishlists. I haven’t been able to do any of these things for about 2 months. The app seems to have major glitches and doesn’t function properly. It’s no longer user friendly.

Unbalanced app. Sometimes in the cart they give me almost 0 import duties on my orders and then after a few days they charge me again with duties! Or i discover that there are actually PLENTY OF IMPORT DUTIES lying under the actual price when i go to checkout. I don't know i thought they would control their prices a little bit but they didn’t.

It’s hard to place an order. This is my first time ever placing my order and it was impossible. I had to do it at least 5 times. In the future, if you’re from the United States of America, call your credit card issuer and let them know that you are placing an order from another country so you don’t get your credit card blocked by the issuing bank.

Buggy. When ever I go to pay, the app says ‘an error occurred’ and that was pretty much it so can’t pay on the app.

Only wishing I lived closer to Selfridges. I had the most extraordinary day on my own enjoying your magnificent store. I loved every purchase and the fantastic customer service including Tom Ford cosmetics and lingerie. Sadly I lost all of my items due to confusion and bad luck as I flew out of London for home here in Australia. I woke up in tears and have been able to repurchase some of the items online. Thank you.

Not a good app but a good place to shop if you use browser only. The speed of the app is very slow. You can’t choose what you would like to pay first after you add the item to the shopping cart, all items must be checked out at the same time. The developer should have a look at the Taobao app.

App shopping annoying. When I open the app the screen on my iPad won’t rotate so I shop at a 90 degree angle.

Love to shop on Selfridges. Just love to ordering online for whatever I want, now Selfridges is becoming to one of my favorite app to shop everything.

GST should be refunded if order is returned.. May I suggest that the GST should be refunded when an order is returned. It can be refunded in a form of store credit or back to credit card.

App using experience. App shopping needs improvement. Loading period too long. Wish list storage space very limited, and does not have a ‘delete selection ‘function, it has to be deleted one by one manually.

Memory muncher. This app was taking up 4.7GB. I had to delete the app and download it again for a temporary fix as my iPhone only has about 5GB of free space. Maybe an update that's more memory efficient?

Payment. Payment always got problems

I hope more brands can support International express.. I hope more brands and products can support international express. More brands can be mailed to Australia. Take brands like Nars and Maison Margiela. Tom Ford's perfume and so on. I will always support you!

Amazing price range. If you live in Australia, don’t waste your money buying makeup at Sephora, Mecca & Myer when you can get the exact same product here for up to $35 cheaper!! And when they have reductions, it gets even better! Great app, 10/10 would recommend.

I definitely do not recommend the app…. Even tho Selfridges has a wide collection of items that you can purchase ,there are many problems with the wish list of the app.For starters when I first started using it I came across a problem that I have never seen before.The problem was that even after I had saved what I liked there was nothing on my wish list.I reloaded the app many times but there was nothing to be found so I had to start finding every item again.When I finally could put things in my wish list I came across another problem, what I came across was that I could not delete the products that I didn’t like from the wish list.Again, I refreshed the app multiple times but the items where still there.Finally after about 10 times of trying and many hours in the process I managed to get them out.For a couple of days now I didn’t come across any other problems on the app except a little while ago.I’m very angry about this problem because every single item on my wish list was gone!!!!For good!Im mad because I spend a lot of time finding these items (not that it’s the end of the world but still) and even tho I refreshed everything (even my phone!) I could not find anything…so now I’m starting again but instead of putting all of the items on the wish list I will be screenshoting them!!!

Wish list deleted every few days. Wish list items deleted every few day in the app. Frustrating.

Really enjoy shopping on Selfridges but the application is not efficient enough for shopping. Sometimes the application cannot connect to the product link successfully ,always shows product info have problem or loading. That’s annoying when I want to buy something immediately on my phone. I have to open my laptop to keep shopping !please improve the app !

Many bugs. Actually I use this app very often, but it does have many bugs. For example the Wishlist can never updated anymore, and crash also happens often. Longing for the app updating.

Can’t add things to the shopping bag. Every time when I tried to add things to the shop bag, it just disappear in the cart. It’s always showing empty when you try to view your shopping bag and checkout.

Easy to navigate. The layout is easy to navigate plus I was able to checkout and pay on the app while website had trouble processing my payment.

Unusable. App barely works. Ironically, the Feedback and Rate buttons don’t work at all. Max of 50 items in the Wishlist is also far too low for the amount of items stocked (& never restricted when shopping elsewhere?). When you are asked to delete some Wishlist items and select delete on an individual item - the entire list goes. Happened 3x.

Charging incorrect amount!. The app cannot do basic maths, the numbers in my cart and check out are different. I’m charged MORE than the legal 10% taxes to ship to Australia…what the hell is going on!

Unusable for Me. On the payment page it comes up with 2 factor authentication for my card provider that you have to go your texts to get the code but when you go back to the payment page in the app it says payment timed out and starts the process again. You end up going in circles so I had to use the website in the end . Nice idea but just not usable

Good but range of products limited. The app is great for Aussie shoppers and allows you to access great brands and designers, but a lot of products can’t ship to Australia and you can’t tell until you open the item page. In the last year or so, quite a few brands that used to ship to Australia no longer do so. Additionally, the range online is much more limited than what would be available in stores and doesn’t get updated frequently/ is listed online but is actually out of stock and unable to be ordered.

Wish list crisis. I really want to love Selfridge app since I’ve bought many products from there. However, the design of the app is absolutely bad especially the wish list. Starting this year, 1) all of products in the wish list has disappeared, 2) can’t update, remove neither add any products to the list. The worst thing is that both app or Selfridge website have the same issue....smh

Payment. I have tried to pay for my items numerous times and the payment screen will not load properly. I’ve used my laptop, my phone and my tablet. I finally had some progress with using my tablet and downloading the app and then when it showed the bank security screen, it asked me to add security code and there’s nowhere to enter it - the screen didn’t load properly. I emailed customer service noting issues with paying and they sent me a link to reset my password and wrote kind words about not being able to access my account? I can access my account just fine. Beyond frustrating.

Can’t purchase …. Pls update the app, can’t purchase items from Canada !

Payment problem. I am located in Canada. I spoke to my bank and ensured my credit card is all good, but the payment couldn’t go through. My bank said Selfridges blocked my payment by some software.

Payment. Payment froze twice after entering all the correct details .. don’t know yet whether or not the charged me twice. Also can’t log in with the same email and password using my laptop it’s very frustrating

Won’t process payment. This is so crazy I have been trying for two days to place an Ofer and it won’t go through

Take to long to load. The wishlist and the profile take to long to load the screene and sometimes doesn’t open at all!!

Can not sign in. There is no response when I click on “next” at the Push Notification step.

Bad customer care. I have been experiencing order rejection by the website for more than a couple of months and contacted customer care, but no action was taken. I really feel very bad for the 40£ paid for Selfridges+ that I lost.

Gift wrapping and card. I had an order Which is a gift for my husband I paid for gift wrapping and I wrote a gift card speech and the shipment came with no gift box and the card is written with square letters!! With no meaning!!!
