Throw Away Your Plastic Stitch Counters!. This app is absolutely the best stitch counter on the face of the earth. You can record numerous different projects at a time, and best of all, your phone stays on the entire time you are using the app. It does not shut down. I love it.

No icon on phone. I like this app and have a tip to change color but I have to go into the App Store to open it every time because an icon did not show up on my iPhones screen. I have sent an email and am trying to resolve this because it doesn’t seem to allow you to download again.

Easy to use and always with you!. Love how easy this app is to use and that it is always where I need it. In the past I have used trusty pen and paper but at least once during the project, I would not have it with the project... and had to go find it in another room - pain. This app solve that as I always have my cell with me :)

Amazing!!!. This app works perfectly and is very helpful with my projects!!! I will be using this all the time and I definitely recommend this app for people who can’t always remember which row they are on, or people who are to lazy to count their rows (AKA me)

Love this counter!. Nothing complicated. Just helps me easily keep track of what row I’m on - even for multiple projects at the same time. I life saver. I’ve Webb used this counter at the gym to help keep track of how many laps I’m doing around the track! Thank you!

One of the easiest. I don’t know why when I’ve tried keeping track on paper. It just doesn’t work. With this counter I have completed 2 projects and working on the 3rd. It works for me!! I love it.

Decent row counter app. With the iOS upgrade, my former row counter app became obsolete and I tried out a few different apps to get the same features I had with my previous one. This one doesn’t exactly have the same features, but I can get the same functionality. I saw with the update of this app that it now has a widget feature. Sadly, it doesn’t work for me. I got some weird error message when I tried to get the app to sync with the widget and to use the envelope icon to send a message which directed me here for a review. So, 4 stars overall. Would be 5 if the widget would work!

Repeat counter confusing. Hi there, I’ve been using your app for years. I like the introduction of repeat counters. But I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to make it work for me. I kept incrementing the wrong counter or it would do the math weird. I don’t know how to set the repeats and then increment the right counts to see where I’m at. Maybe a video explaining it or it might need some tweaks to be usable. I was trying to use it to keep track of two counts at the same time (ie a pattern and some shaping counts on a knitted sweater). Thanks!

Perfect. This app is easy to use. I love everything about it. My favorite thing is that it stays on so you don’t have to wake up the screen & put your passcode in. Thanks so much. Some of the suggestions are good and I would be willing to pay for an upgraded version. Just so long as the feature of the screen staying on is part of the upgrade.

Works great but would like a secondary counter inside. This app works great. I like that it stays open and doesn’t time out my phone. It would be nice to have a way to keep track of multiple repeats within a pattern. (Repeat xxx so many times is a common pattern instruction.) A toggle to change up (or down) perhaps. A way to insert a photo or scan would be nice too.

I Love This App!. I have been using this app for YEARS! It’s the only counter app that I use and recommend to my friends! I love the new repeat counter feature! Keep up the good work! I can’t wait to see what you add in the future!

Easy peasy. Easy to use I was able to use this app immediately. Not like some of the other ones where I was still fumbling around trying to figure out how to use it.

Great Basic Row Counter!. Does just what it's supposed to do! I also like that I can have multiple projects on the app and keep track of all the different rows I'm at on each of them!

Simple and to the point.. The equivalent of getting one of those plastic counters except even easier. Color schemes are lacking (either too primary or not enough contrast). But I like how it's not trying to be overly complicated.

Knit Row Counter. I have a girlfriend who introduced me to this app. I have been using it for 2 weeks and find it helpful when I am really trying to keep track of my rows. I am enjoying it and gave it a 5*

Simple to use, very basic. Nice app. Just a very basic counter for simple projects. If you need to keep track of more than just your rows, then this is not the app for you. The only thing is that the widget does not work for me. I get a message on the widget that says to open the app first for the widget to work. I open the app, and keep the app open in the background, and the widget still will not work and I still get the same message. I would close the app and try again and it just will not work. I was a bit disappointed with that. EDIT: Thank you to the developer for your response. I ended up taking your advice and uninstalled/reinstalled the app and the widget is now working! I did have 2 projects started, but it was easy to just write down the counts then create the projects and tap until I reached the row I left off on.

Needs one more simple feature. I like the simplicity of this app however it would be nice to be able to add notes to each project. For example I have two little ones so I stop and start constantly. If I'm doing a single crochet, double crochet and have to stop after a single I'd like to be able to write in a note that my Next Stitch will be a dc. Perhaps just a Next Stitch button that you choose from.

Great basic counter, updated!. Love the new choice of colors and I really appreciate being able to keep track of multiple places either in the same project or if I switch from one to another. It is just a simple tap on the large button to count a row and just as simple to reverse it if you accidentally tap it. Bright, easy to use and so practical! Thanks!

Counting. I like this app a lot. It works great for my needs. I like that I can do more than one project at a time. It would be really nice, though, if you need to repeat a pattern several times, there could be an additional counter in the the project that would allow you to do that. Otherwise, i have no complaints.

Love this app!!. i recently started learning how to crochet, and especially when working in the round, i always found it difficult to keep track of my rounds. i’ve tried other row counter apps, but none of them have the simplicity that this one has. it’s very simple to use. i love how you can have multiple counters for different projects. one thing that i would love to be added to the app would be to have the option to add multiple counters to a single project. but other than that, it’s very simple and easy to use, and i love how you can change the color theme of the app.

Handy tool. I find this app useful. It does exactly what it says . You can keep track of various projects all in one place. (We all have many projects going on at one time!) It allows you to customize your colors for the background. Pretty basic and handy so I give it five stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Simple Row Counter. I love this simple row counter. I usually do repetitive patterns, but tend to lose count of my rows. With this app, it is so easy to leave my phone by my side and simply tap to add a row as I am turning. Removing a row is also a simple tap on the minus. Other row counters require entering project details, or are complicated to add or remove rows. While you can add project names and multiple projects if needed, it isn't required. Very simple, easy to use, and highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed. Super simple app, just tap every time you are done with a row to keep track of where you are in a pattern ... needed it for my first pattern!! Easy to take away “taps” incase you accidentally hit it or you have to unravel and go back ... love it

Accessible to blind and visually impaired users. I am a totally blind knitter and use voiceover to read my iPhone screen. I have long wanted a row counter that was accessible to me. I found it! Works perfectly, and the sounds confirm that I have added or subtracted a row. The only thing that voiceover users want to know is that you need to double tap the pencil icon in order to make the project name text field active. This app is moving to the front page of my home screen! Thank you! Simplicity often means accessibility to me. Awesome!

Great Tool. This app is super helpful when I forget/misplace my little counter! One thing that would make it even more useful than just a counter is to have a section for freestyle notes on each project. For example, if I’m working on a sweater, I would like to keep notes for how many rows/sts the first sleeve was to have the second sleeve match - it’d be great to have that all in one place!

Invaluable. I absolutely love this ap. I need to count stitches and rows on many projects simultaneously. This ap does it. Simple to use. No finding pen and paper to keep up with! I always have my phone with me! Highly recommend!

Great simple app. I still agree with my review below, however I opened the app this morning and I guess it was updated and all of my past project are gone. Is there any way to get them back? Fortunately I was not in the middle of anything. I’ve been using this app for years and love it. It’s so simple. Just tap the screen to inc or dec a row, keep track of multiple projects. It always bothered me that I could not view the time when in the app, but it’s now been updated so I can see when I am late and have to stop knitting! Thank you!

Great, simple app. The app works perfectly for what I need. Just something to keep track of my rows so I don’t need to carry a pencil and paper all the time or keep a note on my phone. Let’s you create multiple projects and count up for each. Two improvements I believe would help the app: 1) Be able to create one project and have subsections within it so you can be counting different things. For example, if you have a certain number of pattern repeats in a row you could keep track of rows of one counter and number of pattern repeats on another, but be able to see both in the same screen. 2) I would love if the colors that you can change a screen could be assigned to each project. I love matching the color with my project and it would be great if when I clicked the project I’m working on if the color automatically changed to what I wanted as well. The app works great and I really like it so these are just a couple ideas that I think would help!

Great app. I really do like this app. It’s a very useful, basic app that keeps me from having to mark up my patterns with tons of pencil and erase marks. The one thing I would like to see included is a note section where I include the Cast On number, and any additional notes I may want to include.

Wonderful app. I highly recommend.. A great app! I use this for my knitting and crocheting. The design is very ascetically pleasing, and when you add a stitch it makes a nice sound. It’s easy to use, just tap to add a stitch, and you can count more then one project at a time, if you’re a serial knitter like I am. You can title each project. This is a great app, I highly recommended it.

Wishful thinking/suggestion. Love the app, but I wish that I could leave notes for each pattern that I am working on not just the row count. Ex: I'm working in the round it's a 3x3 pattern but the way it's set up I have to make sure if I stop I stop with 3 stitches left on needle and what stitch that they need to be when I start again. Maybe adding a feature like this would be helpful otherwise I would've given 5 stars.

Great. Enjoy the basic features of this app, such as two different sounds for completing and tinking rows in my knitting projects. Currently I’m working on a project that has 8 separate pieces. Using this tool, I can track the start and completion dates for each piece. I will continue to recommend this to each member of my knitting group!

Simple yet effective. A basic multi project counter that is easy to use. It has a widget for those who prefer as well. Many colors to choose from, which is really helpful for me. My only complaint is when you turn sound off in the app, it doesn’t turn it off in the widget. But that’s minor. I use it often and it’s always been reliable.

Very useful. I use this app every day to keep track of my knitting and crocheting rows. I have had some difficulty with moving my phone and accidentally touching the screen messing up my count. Sometimes I close the app temporarily and the re-open it when I have to advance another row.

Nice!!. Easy to use, and I have it with me always. Color selection is slim, an adjustment bar would be helpful in changing tones. It would be nice if there were a place to actually put pattern specs so that there was a place to keep the pattern along with the number of rows you do. All & all it's a"simple"app that has potential to be an awesome app. Thanks for sharing!!

Yaaaat!...found it!. I know that many who have reviewed are asking for more and more features. Even though I respect that I hope you keep it simple. My iPad is pretty cramped I try to keep the usage and storage down and every counter app that I tried had gobs of features and stuff that I didn’t use. All I wanted was a simple project tracker Rows, namelabel, I’m using the color selection for the main color of my work. I love it it is so simple and quick and yes, the only other useful feature would be a photo import of a pattern page on the selected project page....see?...we always want more,..but that would put everything you need in one spot...(well, project notes would allow you to record yarn and hook/needle used, etc..) mgbs going up ....😀

Simple and Effective. I can track multiple projects and it’s simple to click the screen to count your rows. There is a minus button or reset button as well if you make a mistake or want to count from 0 again. You can also count repeating numbers (like every 20 stitches or something) and it'll count how many complete repetitions you’ve made.

Not fussy and very convenient. This is perfect for knitting on the go. It’s hard to mess up and accidentally reset the counter (there’s a “are you sure pop-up), and you can easily keep multiple projects organized and separate. It’s not anything complicated, I taught my nana who likes to knit how to use the app and she likes it as much as I, a teenager, do!

Great row or stitch counter for multiple projects. This is the perfect app for simplicity and MULTIPLE PROJECTS. I always have several projects going and love to pick up the one that suits my mood. So finally I have one stitch/row counter that keeps track of each by name. I also love the fact that it doesn’t time out. Always ready. This app has spoiled me.

Needs to work with Apple Watch. No problem with basic function of app. Could use notes section as others have said. My request would be that it would work with my Apple Watch.

Useful. The app is very useful but I do agree with Melinda1980. It would be very helpful if we could make some notes for the project. Despite that though, it is very handy and I like it better than the row counter that I bought in the store. I really like that you can add multiple projects :)

Perfectly simple. I absolutely love the simplicity of this. I can track my rows so that I know exactly where I am at for my designs which is incalculably helpful! Being able to keep my projects separate and be able to keep the progress in order for each has greatly reduced stress. Only thing I could ask for more with this would be for them to design a means of taking a picture of a drawn graph of a design and allow me to be able to insert which type of stitch for each box to make patterning move seemlessly into creating.

As someone with the attention span of a goldfish who often starts multiple projects at a time, I enjoy the ease of counting as well as the fact that you can track multiple projects at once. Great knit counting app. This is great for socks. I love to have the exact same rows so I’m able to create a “project” for each phase of the sock and when I make the second sock I can make sure they match row counts.

Better than mechanical clicker for this newbie. I keep either my iPhone or iPad propped up next to me with the counter displayed. I’m in the habit of checking it at the end of each row and tapping to advance or reset the counter.

Nice. This is a nice row counter. It isn’t fancy but it’s very nice in it’s simplicity. I like that you can feel when you click the next row and that the screen isn’t too busy.

This app let me down. I had high hopes for this but it WOULD NOT download!! ☹️ it sucked extra because I needed it to make an anniversary present for my mom and dad but it didn’t work so the present was not done on time because I kept losing track of my rows and having to restart.

Good , Not Great. This is a good, if very basic, app. I would really like to be able to name the project AND have the ability to use it for more than one project, as I am typically knitting three or four projects at any given time.
