Excellent App. I have had a problem with porn used to watch it several times a day. Even would go to the bathroom at work and watch it. Porn was affecting my work, family and social life. At the urging of my wife I downloaded this app and in the two months I’ve had it I’m a different man.

It's good but over steps a little. I love the app and how I can forget to remember it's even there, except for when I try to search images of say Maps or different locations for vacation and I cannot view any of them. I like how it blocks out all temptation however seems to over extend a bit to being a slight annoyance. Guess it's the price to pay for kicking addiction.

Awesome!. Hides majority of everything explicit that I don’t want to randomly see. Do be careful of social media though because it doesn’t hide everything on any of those platforms that I know of

Very Effective. Effectively Blocks all inappropriate pornographic content and the team is very responsive to suggestions of improvement. Only note I would say is that sometimes it’s a little too good. Cant search “thick milkshake” or something remotely suggestive without getting blocked.

Overall good. It’s good if you know and trust someone to make a password you can’t guess and keep it. But it is a bit too restrictive if used to block pornography exclusively. Great app if using it to block all obscene content from kids.

Sweet Deal. It works sweet! It blocks the stuff we have perhaps seen before, so we can enjoy cruising the web without bewaring them "middle parts" This app is truly tubular.

Excellent. I have struggled for quite a few years with porn addiction. My iPhone has been my major source to satisfy this debilitating condition. At the suggestion of a friend, I have installed this app on my iPhone. It is great! I cannot access the porn anymore. Sometimes it works so well you cannot even do a search for something innocent that includes a word that suggests a sexual connotation 😁. I recommend this app to all nofappers or those with a "pmo" addiction. It shall help you immeasurably on your path to success. Thank you!!!

Great app and great support. I’ve been using the app now for years to help block stuff in safari that can lead me down a very dark path. When you combine this with the screen time restrictions it is a really helpful combo for moments of weakness.

Great aid for purity-. Works wonderfully on safari- but in order to remove temptation more, I would block downloading of apps through the restrictions page on settings so you don't go around it and just download a different internet browser.

Shield App. App works very in preventing access to porn sites. Does interfere in accessing regular sites to much. To bad you need separate subscription for the different equipment but understandable!

Can’t view any images or random sites. I don’t remember it happening before I got and set up this app but now I can’t view any kind of images. I select it and there is just a white page with the three grey bars symbol. Also random sites, which include this apps support page, are all blocked. I understand that the porn or related sites would be blocked but I don’t understand why all the others would be, unless they just so happen to have a “bad word” somewhere on them.

Excellent. Blocks bad stuff, even in Google search or other searches. The only problem is that sometimes it blocks stuff that is not bad and there is no way to get past it without switching to Chrome (the app only blocks content in Safari, not Chrome).

Effective...maybe too effective?. Let me preface this by saying I’m a female who struggles with porn. That being said, the app works well. Maybe a little TOO well. There are some blocked search terms that seem rather ridiculous. If you search for female celebrities (such as Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus) this app will block them. Male celebrities, on the other hand? I’ve not had any problem searching them up. I mean, come on now. I know there are some scantily clad female celebrities out there, but the same can be said of men. Also, “anime” is blocked, which also seems silly. Not all anime is porn. But as I said, the app does what it’s designed to do, so I can’t fault it too much.

Extremely Effective. This app has been a lifesaver in helping me overcome porn addiction, along with ditching social media and other apps that might be a source for explicit content (These other steps are necessary for this app to be effective). Some people have called this app overly effective since it blocks Google searches that some may not consider inappropriate. However, I would argue this is necessary to eliminate as many avenues as possible for accessing porn. There are still explicit sites out there that the app hasn’t caught (most of which aren’t explicitly porn sites but have pornographic content), so to help all benefiting from this app, please let the developer know if you find any of these that should be blocked.

BEST APP HANDS DOWN. This app saved my life. I literally have nothing more to say. It changed my life around. I was struggling with my addiction for so long and looking for a budget friendly solution, and I found this and never had to look back since. It blocks even images which could trigger your porn addiction and that’s where ot lowkey starts from and I’m glad they blocked the problem for me from the root. Can’t thank these guys enough. Great app. The one thing that can cause an app like this, namely, blocking too many sites that don't need to be blocked, is not a problem with this app. This app has helped me in my spiritual life immensely and for that I am thankful.

Easy to turn off filter. And waste of money. It’s a joke because all it does is add an extension blocker on all websites but on safari you can press the settings button and press turn off content blockers for this website. So basically it’s a dumb blocker that’s worthless.

SCAM!!!. The app does nothing. All the features it claims to have are things that are already on your phone. You don’t need this app to use content and privacy restrictions. They trick you into paying $25 to tell use go to settings > screen time > content restrictions. I can did that without downloading the app and everything works the same.

This helps. This is a great app. However, I wish there was a feature to have a trusted friend hold me accountable. For example, they would see if I were to turn off the app to sneak a peek at sites online.

Peace of Mind. This app is not only cheaper price wise than others but it’s also very effective in blocking questionable sites on iPhones and iPads. As a parent, this gives me peace of mind.

Shield. I’m blessed to have found this app! So cheap and so great! I hate that you have to pay to stop a habit that destroys people and relationships so I’m glad it’s only a few bucks a month!

Good. I like that I can pair this with the default content blocker on iOS. Even if I try and bypass the website with my passcode, this app closes safari and that’s just what I need, because sometimes I get tempted but this adds a second layer of protection.

Let down. This app seemed to have potential since it is supposed to work in safari. You have to use the built in restrictions for it to work which is such a waste because that doesn’t allow customized filtering. There is potential here but there would have to be some major improvements such as selecting type of content to block as well as not needing to use the restrictions (which are terrible) that’s built in.

This app takes it to the extreme. I love love love this app, it’s a great way to keep your self pure. I love that it will block any explicit picture or porn sight you try to search. With that being said there is one major flaw in the app. It blocks a lot of stuff that isn’t explicit. Usually it’s because the word “Women” is in the search bar. For instance if you search anything with the word women, you’ll see that the app for the most part will block a lot of the non explicit searches. I understand this app is made for the intent of blocking porn fully and completely from your phone. I’m all for that, and the 24 dollars a year is worth it, but I would suggest for the developers to see this and maybe make some updates that won’t block all searches that are non explicit. Till then I would suggest you get covenant eyes and have accountability.

Better safe than sorry. Sometime certain websites, that might not need to be blocked, get blocked. But I would rather shun sin as Job did than toe the line. I would actually prefer to pay $1000 a month to not be tempted period, but until then, this will do.

Works Great !. This app does exactly what it says, no ifs, ands, or butts. It has worked flawlessly on my iPhone 6s. Sometimes blocks too much, but you can add websites back in manually. Have someone else maintain the passcode, and its bulletproof. Totally happy with app.

Frustrated .... Love the fact that shield if blocking images and content that is not good. However I’m extremely frustrated that it blocks ALL pictures/video when I search for anything even if there is nothing bad... i.e. search for ford trucks, hit photos or video tab... and NOTHING.

Pretty good. The app itself is pretty good. It filters a lot which is great except when it filters stuff that’s pretty innocent. I recently searched for a realtor by name and because she was a woman it wouldn’t allow me to look at the images. While I appreciate the hard work that goes into this app, and them wanting to protect you, like you pay them too, it still has a ways to go.

Simple, and does the job. It’s very simple to operate. And after a few weeks of use, it doesn’t block every innocent thing I look at like other filter apps have. It’s also cheaper than a lot of other. Wish it could send accountability emails. Even if you were to delete the app. Instead you need to lock your ability to delete apps.

Must have app for quitting porn. Blocks most real porn, which I forget about every time. I look something up and it's blocked, very useful. But there is one problem, it doesn't block google images due to a change by google. Needs to be fixed soon other wise really good app. Even blocks searches for words like 'hot'.

Work only for safari. Given the positive impression by most ratings here, I decided to give the app a try. At first I was please that it block certain porn-related keywords when I tested on safari. However, you can bypass this by installing other browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox...). Also, you can still turn the blocker off on setting if you have urges to watch porn. The best cost saving alternative would be to use content restriction in Setting instead.

Not really usefull. If you want a blocker find an alternative. This app basically blocks everything in safari, it blocks explicit apps, BUT it also blocks the images categories which is actually stupid. Ok for extrA pro caution they may blocked images category, but when i was studying for my up coming mid term, i needed to find an image of a graph, but i have no clue why safari says there is a third party app blocking the images category. If you don't mind not using images this might be for you or else i don't quite recommend this app. Lastly this only blocks safari but nothing like google, opra gx. Etc. This app also does not block apps like reddit, twitter which is also a major down side

Basically worthless. There’s no way to set a passcode to prevent turning off the blocker. All you have to do it deny it’s privilege in settings. So your basically doing the same thing as just turning on the restrictions on the normal iPhone settings.

Don't get!. I made a subscription but they don't let you cancel and will keep charging you monthly. They still charge me and I don't even have the app anymore!

Awful. Buy only if you want the content settings appropriate for a 5 year old. Looked up how to protect scalp during workout and wouldn't open, looking up birth control methods and wouldn't open. Doesn't block only porn, but also anything that is remotely adult in nature without being sexual

No Trial period. This app requires you to pay for a subscription to use this app without a trial period. If there was a 7 day free trial I would have tried the app and probably subscribed if it worked well enough. Since there was no trial period so I did not subscribe.
