I’m happy with Uphold. I’ve been using Uphold for almost a month now and I am happy. My only issue involves the update that just took place today. Prior to this update, before making a purchase I could see in real time the actual cost of the crypto and tap buy when I felt comfortable. With the new update, it just shows a “market price” dollar to crypto ration. I prefer to see the true cost of what I’m buying instead of a conversion rate. I would LOVE for that to be changed back. Please change it back. …. Regarding other reviews about hold times and not being able to access your funds, uphold is very clear when your money is available based on how you fund your account. I use my debit card for immediate access. Bank accounts can take up to 60 plus days.

Do yourself a favor and use another app. After having problems with Robinhood, I decided to look for other apps to try for crypto, and I decided to give uphold a shot since it was highly reviewed. Big mistake. I deposited 20 dollars as an initial deposit to test the waters and it’s a good thing I didn’t deposit any more than that, this app is total garbage. Not only are the market prices not accurate, but when you go to exchange currencies, they take a fee while claiming they have no trading fees. Not to mention I signed up back in January, changed my mind about using the platform and tried to withdraw the money. They restricted my account and made me wait 3 months before a customer service rep finally unblocked my account so that I could withdraw my money, which was also a hassle since they make you install an authentication app to withdraw. No authentication needed to deposit tho. This is by far the worst investing/crypto app I have ever had the displeasure of using, and I would give it negative stars if I could. If I had put a sizable amount of money instead of just 20 dollars I’d have considered taking legal action. I feel sorry for anybody who put in anymore than that.

Better off elsewhere. Overall: Slow to move crypto, high fees, lack of crypto, slow to adopt, great if you play it safe. If you’re like me you probably have multiple platforms you use to invest and stake your crypto. Uphold makes you wait 4 business to move any of your crypto. If you buy on a Sunday and plan to stake it than you need to wait a total of 6 days just to move it. Same goes for withdrawal. If you buy it on Saturday, sell Monday, and plan to withdraw it, good luck. You still have to wait the 4 business days. KuCoin and Coinbase offer both the able to instantly transfer between platforms without waiting. Tried to move $150 worth of crypto and it wants $25 in fees. It’s just not worth it. Currently there are 100s of crypto out there and Uphold only offers 61. If you like to play it safe these coins might be for you. Honestly just buy them on a larger exchange that has more to offer. Currently all the other big exchange platforms offer some form of staking but uphold is still rolling it out. On KuCoin and Coinbase you can jump right in it. Won’t get the best APY but still better than uphold where you’ll get none.

Simple yet complicate.. Uphold fields and trading environment seems simple enough to just make trade and be done , it has no extra tools for TA and option trading which makes it ideal if you know what you want to buy or sell , also the limit trading is a nice future added not long ago , trading metal and currencies are another nice option . However IMO the platform is complicated and confusing for transfer assets to external wallet ,also is hard to calculate buy/sell fees , and you really don't know how much is the coin price is exactly at the time of your trade ,you can manually calculate your costs after your transaction is done ,there is no future or option trading either . for this my rating would have been 3 stars even maybe 2 . But even with all its faults and shortcomings I like it and i trade a portion of my trades in it just to show my support for UPHOLD because it lets you trade ” XRP “ the most controversial coin and IMO the most valuable asset of all times which its not available to trade at most exchanges in US if not all of them and for that i give it 5 star .

Professional Scammers!!!. First, I realize many 1-star reviews are written by complete idiots. Second, I have been using Uphold for almost 2 years with a huge amount of time in between where I was not using the exchange. Third, not only is it a complete rip off, but they will do everything in they’re power to prevent you from being able to transfer your crypto to your personal wallets. If you’re purchase is via ACH transaction, be aware, once you discover you can’t move your crypto, the only other option is to wait over 40 days. If in that time you convert your crypto into and out of stable coins to avoid volatility, get ready to pay a huge fee and Uphold will add an additional 30 days on top of the time until you can transfer your crypto. The only way out of this is to withdraw funds to your bank, then pay fees to buy back into crypto somewhere else. These are the kinds of things that will destroy crypto. It is a shame how greedy some human beings can become.

Beware of this shady company. I’ve tried this app for less than a month and ty to understand how this app work. Along the way, I got some free BAT coins, which I don’t know where it came from. After a month of realized, this app is not right for me. I have requested to close and delete my account. They says they can’t unless I move my BAT coins out of my account first. There was no option for me to send my coins to my other wallet but to convert it into cash and then transfer back it into my bank account. But, I refuse to provide my bank account or my card info on Uphold. I’ve requested them to cancel my account, along with a little bit of coins i have left in there. After more than a week while they’re reviewing my account, this is the response I’ve received from Uphold, “ We’re sorry to tell you that after further review we can no longer offer you an account. We’re a regulated business and sometimes have to make difficult decisions. Thanks for your understanding.” What the heck are they talking about? All I’m asking them is to delete my account, not to open a new one. I think they’re only saying that to protect their reputation. Either way, I’m glad to be over with it. If you’re looking for a wallet, that you can buy, sell coins, or send and receive coins, I suggest you to look somewhere else as I found Uphold to be very worthless.

XRP. This is one of the few places you can actually buy XRP which is the main reason I got into crypto in the first place. It seems everyone is upset because they are trying to pump and dump and get their money in and out quick to make a fast dollar. If that’s your goal maybe this isn’t the app for you. There’s a short waiting period to remove funds but I haven’t had any issues doing so when I’ve needed to. The app itself is easy to use and very user friendly. It also seems like people aren’t reading the fine print about what you actually have to wait for as far as removing funds but it tells you everything you need to know you just have to SLOW DOWN AND READ THE FINE PRINT. If I start having issues I’ll change my review but I’ve been using this since January and have had no issues so far so 5/5 from me.

2 months later they closed my account.. 2nd Update: when they closed out my account against my will , they sold my crypto at what I paid for it , not what it was worth. These communists effectively screwed me out of thousands of dollars. Update: After dealing with customer support they were useless. So is whoever represents their customer service here on the App Store. After submitting a ticket and multiple emails Uphold just decided its going to close my account. Unbelievable, they seem to not care about anyone. They are truly living up to their negative reviews across the internet. Still haven’t seen a refund so at this point it’s basically theft This app is garbage. No matter how many customer support tickets you open , no matter how many times you escalate things , no matter how many times you contact them , NOTHING EVER GETS DONE!!! I can’t move any of my crypto because of their horrible support and ridiculous fees.

Uphold really stands out from everyone else. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews about uphold. I am personally using uphold for more than 2 years and never had any major issues with anything. Yes there are some minor glitches here and there but, guys, I haven’t seen a single bug free system. Not even in the products of those trillion dollar companies. I am a rigorous user of uphold and kind of made quite an exhaustive use of their platform since I am a long time user. I must say, one thing they have is really unique which is bringing such a modularities in the use of currencies. You can literally convert between any pair of currencies and if you have their debit card, you can also spend them. That means for example, if you want to buy a gift for you friend living in let say, Switzerland and you have some bitcoin in your account, you can just convert them in Swiss Frank right away and use their debit card to make the purchase without paying international transaction fees or restrictions. This is really a true democratization of currencies. I am pretty sure the uphold team is already addressing the issues and complaints the customers have. But, one thing I must say that if you use all the features of the platform instead of using uphold just as another crypto exchange, you will definitely find it unique.

Withdrawal process flawed, inefficient and unnecessary.. Uphold, until recently was my favorite on and off boarding exchange for all my crypto investments. However, recently they have implemented a new withdrawal process that involves taking a selfie every time I want to move funds or coins from the exchange to my hard wallet or other network. The process is suppose to request a selfie to verify my identity even though I was 2FA to login into the account and for funds withdrawal. As mentioned, the process is supposed to request the selfie at the time of withdrawal but it does not. It processes the transaction as usual, then rejects the transaction for “verification purposes” then prompts you to begin the process all over again where it will now force the selfie before proceeding. Why the selfie is required after all added security is already in place and only to remove funds the exchange is not stated. IF it were for the customers protection one would assume this added security would be required for any transaction and not just removing funds from Uphold. Very disappointed. Two thumbs down for sure at this point.

Horrible Communication. I don’t even know where to begin. My experience with uphold has been horrific!! I bought crypto through them and when it came time to withdraw they locked my account for no reason. I’ve reached out numerous times to get answers and no response but the same old generic ones to make me go away, till someone reaches out to me. You let me buy it with no problem but when I go to withdraw, now there’s a problem!!! How does a crypto exchange market get away with this? I can’t even sell it, they completely locked my account till further notice. I would be super careful with them now going through this. I just took a second to read the reviews and it looks like I’m not the only one. If they close my account I will definitely be filing a lawsuit and by the looks of this we are looking at a class action lawsuit.

DO NOT USE ! THEY SCAM PEOPLE. Uphold is one big scam dressed up like a legit digital trading hub. Depositing money into uphold is as easy as entering your debit card information while withdrawing money is almost impossible. You’re required to link your bank account information similar to other crypto apps but upon successful log in/link, they deny the verification process without telling you why. You can take it up with their bang up support team that consist of bots ready to respond with automated messages and copy and pasted responses. I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a week now and they’ve just stopped responding all together. My money is currently being held by a team of scam artist who legit just won’t answer me anymore. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app at all cost. Also, look up their rating with the Better Business Bureau. It’s horrendous. There are an endless amount of comments that accurately depict the true nature of this company. The good the bad and the ugly!. I’ve been a customer for a while now and everything was good smooth transactions smooth exchanges smooth you name it and that’s the good part than the 2AF came out and I got acquainted with the ugly and that was the ugly part for me, than remember folks I’m just human and getting old what means I forget things from time to time and I forgot the password and my cellphone locked, and that’s when I got acquainted to ugly, the ugly and the most frustrating part is to regain access to your account without password and a Authenticator that works against you… overall Uphold is a good platform and user friendly but not where you need costumer service… it’s not easy. I’m still locked out of my account and I tried and followed the instructions… to complicated and not user friendly to regain access. I’m at loss here and not a human to communicate with and get my account back. Good luck y’all and keep up with the good work. 🫡☕️🇺🇸👍

Absolutely horrible withdrawal system. I got this app by recommendation and deposited some money. It took about 1 minute to put my money in. I decided a few days later that I wanted to take my money out. The process to take my own money out of my own account was a 30-minute grueling 7 step process. I wish I was joking. They required my fricking social security number, then sent me a verification text that didn’t work 20 times, then they asked for my bank account information, then they asked for my drivers license and a selfie, then they required a verification email that didn’t work 20 times again, then they required that I downloaded a verification app. Why? Why? This is absolutely horrible. Please do not put your hard earned money into this app, it is evil and wants to steal everything from you by tiring you out to where you don’t even have the energy to take your own money out of the app. Good day.

Good Customer Service; Clean Interface. I have used multiple exchange-type sites and wallets for crypto that claim to be the easiest or the best. I’m coming over from Kraken (so the uphold site is amazing compared to that horrible excuse for a website). While it’s not a traditional exchange it does work very well for moving money between currencies and I was able to purchase Ripple using Litecoin/ETH from an external site. Overall very easy to use and straightforward. I had an issue with a transfer of Litecoin from an external site to uphold and I contacted support and they were all very helpful and resolved the issue and credited my funds within 24 hours (considering we are dealing with blockchains and potentially disappearing money when things go wrong - I thought that was pretty good timing). Very pleased and will continue using uphold to store my crypto going forward. The process to get my account certified took less than 20 minutes.

Uphold customer for over a year. It’s a shame it’s had to come to this point, I’ve been using uphold for over a year now and mostly have had positive experiences. There has been some good and some bad. Lately it’s been bad, I contacted customer support in regards of having complications purchasing Luna when it became fractions of a penny. They swiftly replied and made it seem as if they were actually trying to resolve the issue, I then get moved to an email ticket, under the impression they were trying to quickly resolve my issues. I was told via email that someone was going to contact me about my issues shortly and after waiting a few hours I attempted to email again asking for an update on what’s going on, another few hours go by and still nothing, I email again, at this points it’s been well over twelve hours and I’m still being left in the dark with this. It seems as if they are trying to prevent people from buying at all time lows. Not only is this issue currently going on but this app has been known for being hacked and many people losing lots of money so don’t even think about keeping your money on this exchange. It’s really unfortunate that I will need to take my business else where. This exchange is cool if you need to get xrp since they didn’t delist it but I would never recommend using this exchange for anything else, which is sad because at one point I viewed them as a very solid exchange.

STILL Unable to access my account. I’ve been trying to access my account for some time now (since I didn’t sign the W-2 in time) and I STILL haven’t been able to get Uphold to let me back in to my account. I’m willing to sign whatever they want (I just didn’t get the chance to sign the W-2 thing or whatever it was before their deadline) and now I STILL haven’t been able to access my account. I’ve asked support through what feels like ENDLESS emails back and forth and I still can’t get back into my account. I got emails saying try this and try that but nothing worked and I still can’t get back in and they won’t let me create a new account. I don’t get it. I figured Uphold wants more customers and they would try and keep their customers. I want to use Uphold so I can purchase XRP but it is to no avail. I’m pretty much done now. Nothing I’ve tried through good faith effort worked so far. Uphold, what’s up?!?

Was misled about uphold.. I was told by a friend and when I signed up by UPHOLD themselves that I could deposit whatever I wanted to uphold but I would not be able to withdraw anything before verifying my identity. I’m currently replacing a lost ID so for my particular situation this was perfect, I could invest in my favorite cryptos and since I’m holding them there’s no need to withdraw or send them to a wallet yet so my verification could wait. I invested 400 dollars or so over a month and everything went smooth. That is until I reached whatever invisible limit they set, because now when this giant crypto dip happened and I wanted to buy way more, I’m not allowed to buy anything without verifying my account? Not withdraw, just trying to invest. And now the markets bouncing back and I missed an opportunity then as well as still not being able to invest now. Very disappointed with the service. Had I known I would be limited on what I could buy unverified I wouldn’t have bothered to trade with uphold.

Outage every time you start making a profit. It’s crazy how everything works fine until you start making a profit and want to sell. It’s infuriating to have to watch on a different app your profits slip away because you can’t get into Uphold to sell. Had this app for less than 24 hours and lost all profits because I didn’t have access to my account because of server issues. Magically it finally work after I loose every single dollar and more I had gained. Totally unacceptable for a company dealing with money. I can accept the risk of investing and loosing money on bad investments but to lose money because the company you are buying through has an antiquated system that for some reason never works when you are making a profit just seems like a scam to me. Already looking for an alternative. How can a company be so irresponsible when it comes to others money? There has to be laws for such incompetence. My suggestion is don’t waste your time or money with this app. I honestly have never hated an app this much. Be warned, you could loose EVERYTHING because of their incompetence because it never works when you need it the most. Thank god I started with a much smaller amount than I originally planned to invest. Now reading through all the reviews I can already tell it will be a miracle if I ever get my money back because of the difficulties everyone is having pulling their money out.

Customer Service is TRASH. Uphold customer service is TRASH. I have had two clients who got money tied up in their account and are having so much trouble getting THEIR money. The whole point of apps like this is to be able to move money smoothly and conveniently but so far my experience and my friends’ experience had been terrible with trying to do this. They placed an 80 day hold on my friends money when he made a deposit from his bank. Then I have another friend who made a deposit and then bought Bitcoin and they ARE HOLDING his Bitcoin while the price of it is going down...so he’s losing money...and dragging out the process saying they are escalating the case blah blah blah etc. This is disgusting that people can legally make it so difficult to move YOUR OWN money smh. I just withdrew all funds I had on this app and and encouraging all of my clients to do the same! Until someone reaches out to me to handle these situations this review will stand tall here 🤙🏽

Uphold is an organized mess- Total chaos. Uphold greatly lacks Configuration Management and has no Conduct of Operations. Uphold touts and has all the right wording to make you believe that this is a well oiled operating company. But unfortunately, it operates as if there is only one person doing all the work where it normally takes several efficient working professionals to successfully accomplish many transactions for customers. My personal experience has been absolutely horrendous with just the second deposit which locked up my account for four (4) months and then placed my account under some sort of review. The review lasted another three (3) months. Then the Uphold review determined that my account needed to be closed and then uphold would refund my money back to my bank account. It is now going on two months and my funds still have not been transferred. Believe me I have been emailing customer support asking when my funds will be deposited. Uphold has consolidated all 30 of my emails under one (1) trouble ticket number and is under some review. Sooooooo, if you enjoy this type of nonsensical business practice then go for it. Don’t say you were not warned!

I had to report them to FNRA. I recently had to report uphold to FNRA. Their business is shady! I transferred $500 from my fidelity account to uphold, then bought some cardano with it. Days later, uphold sold me out of that position because they said that money never came! I called fidelity, they confirmed that the money was successfully transferred. I emailed customer support, it took them a freaking week to reply! Then they gave me a generic answer. They said my bank canceled the transfer. That’s not true! Fidelity confirmed that it went through and I even have documents to prove it. Now uphold ignores all my email. Go on Instagram, Reddit, any other forums, and review platforms and you will see people have been robbed of thousands of dollars, this is not an isolated case. I’ve filed a complaint to FNRA, and will contact my friends at the consumer investigative unit at nbc. We need to come together and fight for what’s right! Shame on you uphold.

DOUBLE CHARGES. I’ve been using uphold for over six months now, and only use them because they have xrp. I’ve bought XRP about every two weeks, accumulating thousands of tokens. Last week I bought into 4 different alt coins to grow some other positions hedged by my xrp. It charged my twice for each of those four transactions which overdrew my checking account and resulted in me getting $200 in banking fees on top of all that. Uphold won’t take the time to look at my case still so I’ve had to cash out some of my positions at a loss just to avoid more bank fees. I’ve been told by uphold they’re looking into it ASAP five different times. They aren’t professional, they aren’t organized, and they don’t let you withdraw tokens to another wallet for like 3 months. If you’re looking to trade crypto or invest, I strongly recommend using somewhere else.

I have little confidence in accuracy and stability. As far as the whole platform goes, it is fairly well built and looks nice. Not as clean as Gemini but it does the trick. Biggest thing this platform has going for it right now is the fact that it allows XRP to be purchased. That being said, i do have a big issue with the accuracy of the price point that coins are at. If compared to the traiding view app, it is way off which has me concerned for when i sell. I want to be confident that the selling point is what it shows for one and another thing is the fact that i have had trouble purchasing at the low point for xrp and the app/website crashed. It’s probably due to overloaded servers but thats not gonna cut it. As soon as XRP hits other platforms im out of this one...

Very disappointed. I started using Uphold less than 2 months ago and at first things were fine. I used my bank account to transfer funds to Uphold and would then transfer the funds to another wallet. AFTER I did a transfer they introduced a 65 day waiting period where I would not be allowed to transfer the funds I had prior to this new policy. Very mad about this and had I known about the 65 day waiting period, I never would have done it. I spoke to support and they told me to use a debit card for immediate transfers. So ok I used a debit card for my next purchase- a few hours later I tried sending it to my wallet- did not work it said I was still in the waiting period from the previous transfer and had to wait 20+ more days. I spoke to support- they said it would take 24 hours. 24 hours went by and I still had the same problem. Spoke to support again. They told me there was a few of about $2 so to transfer $2 less. I tried that and I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. My funds are not available.

NEVER USE THIS APP. Update: BEWARE! After all the trouble I had below I have been fighting them for a month to delete my account. I’ve already moved all of my money out and deleted any connected accounts with this horrible service. They give you some kind of generic response that if you want to delete your account first you must go remove all the money from your account! I did that before I even asked them to delete it. I couldn’t get my money out of this junk fast enough! Don’t ever use this app or their website to invest! Their service is absolutely horrible and they will leave you completely stranded with no way to login. I had to watch all of my profits dwindle away and then lose my investment because there sorry website could not handle traffic and would not allow me to login. I sat there during the most critical time with one of my investments and had to use another website to just watch it dwindle away because there’s is constantly down. I lost not only all of my profits but my investment. Then to have them charge me for their services should be illegal! You owe me a refund of every penny you charged me!

The WORST service ever! If you are buying XRP use KuCoin. I am furious with Uphold…my account was closed even after I provided the info needed. I received multiple emails from different support people asking the exact same questions. I would email one support person and never hear from them again. Then within hours receive another email from a completely different person re-asking me things and requiring things I’ve already submitted or went over with the previous support person. My account should not have been closed down. I will leave bad reviews anywhere I hear uphold being mentioned. I was warned by other people not to use this service but I wanted to “believe” it was a good service…they were RIGHT! I will buy my XRP from KuCoin and tell others to do the same! Shame on you for closing my account when I gave you the information requested

I can’t make any transactions!. This is the worst crypto app I have ever used! I can’t make any purchases to buy crypto currency no matter what card I use and I have plenty off money. Every transaction gets declined I’m super angry. I’ve also contacted my bank cards and it’s not a problem on their end. There is no phone number to call for assistance and tech support is a joke. So I’ve waited 2 weeks so far for someone to pick up my ticket but it looks like I’m not the only person with the same problem , if this goes continues all the way into March I’m going to seek legal action against them. I can’t even wrap my head around how you can run a business without a way to service your customers properly. I’m extremely angry about this and I hope this review gets the message through to them so they won’t be facing a class action law suite. I’m not making an empty threat I need to get my money off of this app and put into a company that is competent in helping there customers invest.

Service. This app is great and all, a lot of people I know use this, so I can only rate them based off of my personal experience. I have had the app now for some time and have completed all the necessary steps for a full active account. I have a good amount of money into the app yet I have been locked (under review) for over a month now with no way to pull out any funds. I have reached out to there team multiple times regarding this issue. They did get back to me just saying they are “working on the issue” a couple weeks ago. I have followed up but still have not heard any response from the team. I understand crypto is going crazy right and demand is high. But I feel like communication/ problem solving could be better since people are pumping their money into this app with. I way to retrieve it.

Please Read and Don’t be Me. I’ve been holding Xrp for some time now- nearly 20,000 of them to be exact. My account out of the blue recently came up as “under review” which I’ve had previously but it was just due to proof of address and small stuff like that- my assumption was an expired credit card/etc. I reached out only to be told that “ Based on a regular review of your account, we regret to inform you that we can no longer offer you an account. We’re unable to disclose the reason for these reviews, or their outcome, and we fully appreciate how frustrating this can be.” I was also told somebody would be in touch shortly to go over getting my refund and that somebody hasn’t reached out. I’ve hodled nearly 20,000 Xrp just to have my dreams shattered my uphold. I messaged and asked why the app still allowed me to deposited money til I was blue in the face but sending to another wallet or withdrawing my money was disabled…heck they’ll even let me convert my Xrp to another crypto. They then said they’d get me in contact with somebody to issue a refund. Since then I have yet to hear from a soul. They sent me an email with a link for reasons they may suspend your account and the reasons listed are incredibly vague and essentially say we can suspend or close your account for any reason and will keep you updated if/when you’re assets become available to you.

Reply to everyone’s reviews. Okay, so deposited money into my account (a good amount) before I read the reviews, and I got really worried because I saw a lot of people saying they weren’t able to get their money back. And so of course I decided to withdraw some just to see if I would have the issue but I never did. I’ve taken money out without a problem. I also saw a lot of reviews about their customer service never getting back with you but I mean yeah they took a few days when I emailed them about something but they did respond so maybe y’all should look in your spam or something? IDK. But overall it seems to be okay I’ve been able to take money out of my account without any issues, only reason I gave them 4 stars is Bc the customer service did take a few days to respond. Other than that it’s a pretty good app and I was able to buy “xrp” which I couldn’t buy anywhere else it seemed like.

Untrustworthy Company. At first I really liked Uphold, but apparently I messed up by purchasing bitcoin because soon after my account was placed on hold and required my driver’s license and selfie. The problem is that once I uploaded my DL I didn’t get any information about my account until I emailed them. I was told I’d get a response in two hours and it’s been over a week. I have since then sent two more emails with no response. I sent my last email today asking for my funds and I’m not sure they’ll even see it. I think if something as serious as account security is ignored by Uphold, as well as having customer service requests ignored, it cannot be deemed as trustworthy. Simply google “Uphold account on hold” and you’ll see many people are in a similar situation. Reddit is also a good place to see that accounts on hold is a common occurrence. Uphold is BBB accredited, so I will be reporting them to the BBB and suggest others in this situation to do the same. My suggestion is to find another company to work with.

It’s okay. I mean, it’s a crypto wallet. The loops you have to go through though just to get your funds and then to transfer them is outrageous though. I have multiple wallets and to hide behind the “It’s for security purposes” crap is not acceptable. The other wallets I use are just as secure if not more and the user interface and ease of use is out of this world compared to this. Every little thing you do on here incurs a time limit due to what seems like “Fraudulent activity” which parts of me can understand but after all the hoops you just went through to either set-up, unlock or get your account back when all you want is to just transfer funds then you have to wait a period of 2-24 hours is crazy. Those are missed buying opportunities. It’s like this company makes it harder for you to leave so you inevitably give up and just stay. The only reason I use this is for brave but I wish they switch and integrate another wallet. This one is just trash… Once these funds clear, at the expense of my browser, the creators etc, I’m just not using Brave anymore just so I don’t have to deal with this non sense.

Never have had a good experience.. I have used uphold for 2 years now, I am fully aware of all their changes to the services, in which they seem to like to change ‘willy-nilly’ for users and cause restrictions to your account. I have used various debits/credits in the past and never got restricted from purchases. However, I get a 3d secure message on the app that shows a blank message and does not seem to access my bank or send a notification. I believe they are running a scam. They have card information and these cards work. They send me emails saying my bank has declined this card yet, there is no proof in my bank account that these cards were even charged. I have already contacted my bank, I have made foreign transactions before no problem. This is ridiculous. They also have taken over 2 months for me to help access my account and I thought this was terrible service. I have multiple forms of proof of identity to my account and they were ignoring my emails on purpose during bullish runs with crypto and have cost me thousands of dollars already. I am not using this service anymore and I hope everyone stays away. There are better ways to invest in crypto and I see that they are behind the curve on all of them as well. do not waste your time.

Hidden fees?. UI isn’t bad. Could use additional features like adding graphs of currencies. I like that they have forex along with metals as well. My main concern and reason for negative review is because it seems their fees are very high. To the naked eye, it looks like Uphold is charging only 1.05% to buy/sell bitcoin. However, I compared selling identical amounts of bitcoin back into USD/USDC on 3 different apps (Uphold, Coinbase, and Evercoin). You would assume coinbase would be highest however, ended up getting more $USD value on there and evercoin compared to Uphold. Two reasons why - 1) Btc market rate was sometimes lower on Uphold than competitors. I also notice that when I sold, the listed market rate at the time was $3901 but as soon as I click through the next screen to confirm, I saw that the market rate Uphold stated was now $3877. I hit cancel and went back and the btc rate was at $3901. I would advise you to check this as you also make a purchase or sell.

Best best best. I was so dissatisfied to carry out necessary probing but i really wanted to leap on the crypto trading and investment aim. Unfortunately for me, I invested 53,450 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was delighted to observe my account increase to 230,200 GBP within a couple of weeks. But i didn’t realize i was dealing with a diddle company, until i tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting their customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because i could not afford to let it go. So i tried all possible means to make sure i recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency, funds with the help of Alexcybertech01 at gmailcom. So i file a report and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds within 1 week i feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will commend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam , reach out to Alexcybertech01 via gmail

Uphold have stolen my XRP. I recently made a transaction from my US bank account to purchase XRP using the Uphold app. The transaction was made from my Debit card and provided Uphold with an instant payment. I received the purchased XRP in my Uphold account only to find that two days later Uphold have deducted three times the amount of XRP from my account, claiming that they have sent it to a customer refund wallet. After many attempts to communicate with Uphold via email, they have stated that the transaction did not clear from my US account. I contacted my bank and they have confirmed that it was an instant transaction and Uphold did indeed receive the funds , I can also see that the funds left my account. Uphold have effectively stolen my XRP and an amount of XRP which totals much more than the transaction in question by them. Be warned this company is doing wrong by people and unfortunately has extremely poor service/communication, there are better exchanges please don’t risk you hard earned funds with this company.

This app is absolute garbage. XRP was set to spike today at 8:30 AM. Because Uphold crashed the day before and again today; it cost many people a ton of money. Now people are talking about a class action lawsuit (just check their Twitter and reddit). This XRP pump has been everywhere on social media for the last week and you mean to tell me Uphold is a multimillion dollar company and can’t even see this coming? That happened AFTER the WSB/GameStop affair! They claim they had “unprecedented traffic.” My personal opinion (emphasis on opinion), along w many others’ is that this represents market manipulation. Along with this fiasco, there are rumors of hidden fees (also seen in screenshots on Twitter and reddit). And you must wait 66 days minimum after you ask for a withdrawal. All of this combined leads me to not want any relationship with this company. The only reason I keep any affiliation is out of necessity because there’s no other major (in the US) brokerage trading XRP due to American restrictions.

App is a total scam. BEWARE! Don’t put a single dollar into this company. They were the only company still selling XRP so I bought in reluctantly, and when I went to sell they got me stuck in some 2 factor authentication loop and I could never actually sell. It just kept saying I needed to authenticate, send me an email, I would verify via email, and it takes me back to the page again to set up the authentication. I still am not able to get my money out. I have tried to get on the text chat to talk to someone during their “open” business hours and nobody is there, they then tell you to send an email to their customer service department...I’ve done that twice and nobody will get back to me. If so wine doesn’t respond and allow me to sell my shares, I WILL be reporting this company to the better business bureau. I want nothing to do with this terrible company, look out!

Uphold IS the Bar. Uphold is leading the pack as far are their platform usability and especially customer support. There is some sort of sentiment out there that because crypto is so in demand, seemingly, endless bottom of crappy customer service. Uphold is taking a completely different approach and destroying others like it by providing customer support found in most every company in the USA. I’m sure they will be the first out of the gate with phone support as well while others are leading there support services with We Do Not Offer Phone Support. I have had all of my issues r solved lightning fast and when I rendered a poor response to their update, they replied sincerely and thoroughly understanding my position and helping me around the new platform. I love it now and they helped me love it even more. I have been in customer service and scaling my company for over 20 years in 5 countries and I can tell you with confidence that UPHold will be at the forefront of this ecosystem for a very long time especially if they continue to value their customers such as myself in the future. DO NOT DEPOSIT A SINGLE DOLLAR. This company has either really terrible customer service, is running a fraud, or both. I verified my account in order to deposit funds. Once I try to withdraw they verify me AGAIN only this time they RESTRICT MY ACCOUNT immediately after (you can deposit but you can’t withdraw... shady restriction). They’ve restricted it for a week, I have sent countless emails to try and get support and if I got a reply it was a few days later so they can tell me “they’re working on it” a process a simple as verification, they need weeks to work on that apparently... what’s more likely is they realize they make more money the longer your funds stay in play and so they trap you for days to weeks on end, holding your money hostage and taking a percentage on every transaction (more transactions are likely when your money is locked in your account). Over a week in and I get logged out of my account and can’t sign back in. No word from support, no word about my money, everything just gone and with no one to talk to. I’ll be filing a lawsuit against the company, if you were thinking the same get in touch with me and we can make this a class action. Apple check who you allow on the AppStore before you get mentioned in the case as well. Uphold let me back into my account and give me money before I take drastic measures over 100$ and 1000$ in lost potential profit being I had the money available to me right now, but I will take those measures if necessary.

Fees to high. Uphold must have new security setting because within the 2years I’ve been using uphold they never held any of My transactions! They held it for security purposes to assure I was the one sending the money. I had to re summit my ID! I don’t mind the extra precautions it keeps my money safe . They resolved the issue the same day? This app should only be utilize to hold crypto the trading fees are ridiculous $5 each time you swap a coin ! $5 each time you use your card. Customer service is legit fast and speedy and always resolves any issues! I just hate these fees!!!! Also when I use my debit card it charges me $5 but it doesn’t reflect on my uphold card transactions list. I have to go into uphold exchanges in activities to see that they took it. Very inconvenient! Taking money and not alerting you about it! But they will reimburse u for the $5 spent using your debit card ! But why charge me extra in the first place

Started ok ended up mediocre. I was excited with the capacity to keep the crypto and use it without having to convert all into fiat before using it But the problems arise,the card declined in purchases and were charge in the account multiple times anyways and no number to call to claim, the support replied only after a month via email, seemed to solve the problem , return the funds but a few hours later was partially deducted again, same happen with purchases made a few weeks back that were deducted and deducted again for a second time If you don't keep an eye on your account it will drain you, they may be heading the right way but nothing seems to work properly yet, the 3 stars it's mainly for the Almost non existent customer service

Use another platform. My brother told me about Uphold so I can buy XRP. The app is very confusing and not only that, but it doesn’t show you when the market numbers are moving. You always have to keep refreshing to see if the market is up or down. I used the app for about 4-5 months until I was hacked. I wondered why the app signed me out and I had to reset my 2 step Authenticator multiple times. The last time I logged into my account I saw that some transactions were made that I did not authorize so I reached out to customer support. They somewhat helped me to escalate the problem to a higher team, but with “further investigation” they said they could not help me. I was advised to file a police report since their security team could not give my money back. I went to the sheriff’s department to file a report and there was a delay. Customer support sent me a couple of emails that stated that the conversation receipt will remain open for four days. I told them that the police report is in the process and they still sent me the same email. I got fed up and decided to just close my account since they could not even help me. I do not recommend using this app. I suggest finding another platform or stick to coinbase. These crypto apps don’t have the best security support.

Customer Service is the worst Ive ever experienced. I moved in May and changed my billing address at that time. Seems simple enough, but Uphold does not permit you to change ur billing address in their system only they can do that. Their customer service representative’s have no power to do anything (this isn’t a joke) All they can do is open a ticket. Ive had over 12 tickets since May for the same problem. They also limit the amount of times you can add the same credit card to your account which doesn’t sound bad unless their universal fix for billing issues is to tell you to delete your cards so your account doesn’t get an error when it resets the billing address. They never told me the limit was 3 even after I complained I had done it twice before. Even though I have access to my account and unless ticket submissions they still tell me I have to verify my billing address each time. Your experience will go something like this: Customer service rep conversation (CSR) Email Identity verification (EIV) They close ticket with nothing fixed without consent (CT) CSR + 1 day + CSR +EIV + CSR +CSR +1day + CSR + 2 weeks then CT Either you will experience this order of events above or the order of events below. CSR + 2 weeks then CSR + 2 days +EIV then 1 week then CT Each time this happens they won’t fix any issues

Garbage programming. After signing up for this app with the Brave browser rewards I could not get ID verification to work. You can upload pics of ID just fine but it wants you to take a selfie and it won’t work on Safari or in Brave or any other browser. “A network communication problem has occurred. Please try again.” After contacting someone in chat on their website they suggested downloading this app and trying again through the app instead. Except after installing the app and trying to log in it then wants me to verify I’m logging into the app by clicking a verification link in my email. Ok sounds fine except clicking the verification didn’t let me in the app. I then told the person I was chatting with about the new problem and he wants to now end the chat and switch to an email ticket. The same person Carlos L responds to me in email with a generic pre written response to upload my ID to the site and if I’m having problem then upload a screen shot of the error message instead of my ID. Like what? I already told you the message and what it said. That’s why you asked me to use the app. Then you app doesn’t work and so now you want me to show you the website error message because your app verification link doesn’t work? Whoever is running this service is trash. Too bad Brave browser picked this elementary company to partner with for cashing out your rewards. I’m uninstalling both this and Brave.

Thieves!!. Do NOT use Uphold. After reading the reviews it looks like I’m not the only person Uphold has scammed money from. Wish I had read them BEFORE investing money on their exchange. Their customer service is non-existent, and they slip extra money into their fees on top of every transaction even though they say they don’t. The final straw was that I tried to buy $1020 dollars of ADA almost a week ago. It went through as intended and I thought everything was fine. A couple days later I noticed a deposit hit my account for 990. It was my money that I had invested that they returned after skimming 30 dollars off the top. No explanation why, or what they were even charging me for. I’ve been trying to communicate with them since then, and have gotten ZERO RESPONSE from them. I’m moving my XRP and ZIL to another exchange, and if you haven’t downloaded UPHOLD yet, then don’t. They will scam you and since they aren’t even based out of the US, they don’t think there are repercussions for STEALING from people.

Potential Scam / Horrible Customer Service. After taking users money and allowing them to “trade” crypto for several days, the company places the account on “hold for review” This last and indefinite amount of time, with no one explanation, ability to contact anyone, but they will allow you to keep giving more money you just can’t move you coins or money. There is no customer service department, the phone number is a voice mail box, and just and all around run around. Apple needs to really look into this company and decide if it should be on the App Store. Google “Uphold Scam” this is not and I uncommon story. I will be sending complaints to the SEC and BBB about using company next. Never thought I buy a scam app on Apples App Store…oh well there is a first for everything After reading all of the reviews how is this app still here. Horrible!!! They’re Support is terrible and they steal your money!!!. I am in shock what Uphold has done to me! My account was placed in an “account under review” back in March because we accidentally typed in the wrong user ID. I tried finding out what was needed for the review to be resolved, they’re chat was not working because they were “too busy”, so I filed a support request which they never answered! Two months later NO response to our support request and the only thing we could do with the account was add more money, we COULD NOT withdraw any funds! We ended up filing another support complaint ticket! It was only once we sent the complaint they started responding saying they needed more information to lift the review. There was NO phone number to call, no chat sessions working, only email and it took 3 more emails to find out exactly what information they needed. I answered with the requested information but they still closed my account and I have NO access to my funds!!! We lost THOUSANDS of $$s because of their control! We have been unsuccessful reaching Uphold and have had no response as to our $$$!

Excessive transfer fees - deceitful practices. Opened an Uphold account as was only service available to me at the time when starting to use BAT tokens. Went to withdraw 23.5 BAT to private wallet and transaction charge over 27 BAT (currently $47) for transaction alone. Told that it was network fees - other competitor exchange I use I only paid 0.13 BAT to transfer 3.75 BAT Website states $2.99 (assuming USD), and 1.4% - 1.95% for cryptocurrency not listed specifically to move funds off platform. THIS IS NOT THE REALITY. Logged support request, told excessive fee was network congestion and GAS fees (paid 0.121876 BAT elsewhere!) Requested account closure and balance transfer - only get an apology that it’s the network congestion driving fees up. No.. it’s not. It’s your fee scalping. Stay away! They just want your money! People in banks go to jail for scraping transactions. Uphold should be reported to regulators for doing the same!

Seems like I was scammed. I don’t usually write reviews but this made me so angry. I’ve used the app for a number of years and really enjoyed it. But 6 hours ago I received an email asking me if I knew a random person. I questioned the strange and random request and explained it raised red flags on my end. They then closed my account and said until I answered the strange question, my account would remain suspended. The explanation was they needed me to answer the strange question as regulations needed me to provide the information. No dialogue, no communication just closed my account.

The absolute worst crypto platform. In the current state of the crypto market these platforms should be doing their best to help us consumers. I tried to withdraw a measly $16 (AUD) and ended up paying more than $10 (AUD) in transaction and withdrawal fees. If I thought I had a chance of winning I’d take this platform to court for theft.

Wow. On May the 19th, Uphold responded to a review and said that they are trying to allow bank connectivity and withdrawals. It’s been nearly 3/4 of a year and no change has occurred. Don’t get the app, Don’t invest, There’s no way of exchanging your investment back into real money into your own account. 😐

So expensive!!!. Other than the pain of not being able to withdraw your money into an Australian account. To withdraw bit coin worked out to be a 22% fee!! If you are going to use this I’d recommend just putting a very small amount in and checking all the fees. They are extortionate.

Terrible. One of the most confusing wallets out there! The UI is very confusing. I had to google how to send to external wallets. I’ve never had to do that with another wallet. It’s always so easy and obvious. It’s like they tried to make it a game. But this is money. Just make it easy and obvious. Don’t try to make it fancy and complicated just to show off. Make it simple and easy to use. I wish I didn’t have to use this app at all but my payouts from another dapp come here automatically so I’m stuck with it for now. This is a scam. They will take your money, but they won’t give it back when you sell. You also cannot send your coin to another wallet.

Horrible. If I could give negative stars I would. My husband has been trying for over a week now to withdraw his funds from DOGE but cant. He has submitted several tickets on the issue with the exact same response each time that did not help the issue. DO NOT use a card only. Our bank is not listed so he had used his card. They took our money just fine, but we cannot get it back without a linked bank account. They say they’re not a scam but they won’t give us our money back?!?

Good app. This is one of the easiest or best cryptocurrency exchange type wallets available. Overall very easy to use and straightforward. Glad and will continue to use maintenance to store my cryptocurrencies in the future.

Uphold is Great. In comparing this app to many others, being from Canada, i have had no issues with this app. It works great easy to use. The aesthetic is great. Trading, sending and receiving is simple and clean. The fees are low too compared to many other apps. And they never delisted XRP 🙌🙌. This app works great and i have respect for the uphold company. Locked Up Assets. Terrible exchange due to the fact you can’t send your assets to another wallet. Even worse for Canadians, there’s no option to withdraw to a bank account. So all the BAT I’ve collected from the Brave browser is locked away with nowhere to go. There’s probably some criminal liability here but it’s not quite worth it for me to investigate. Avoid Uphold at all costs.

Great features but needs fixing. The features of this app are honestly great, but the downside is that it won’t take a picture of my card no matter how much I centre it! Frustrating. Please fix it so the capture isn’t so sensitive to the slightest amount of movement! I can’t even breathe or else it won’t capture! Literally is that frustrating. Thanks. Shady fees & wallets not supported. Uphold claims there’s no fees, which is completely false. They have 8% fee “spread” for buying Doge when you compare the real-time buy/sell rates vs their market price (very shady). Uphold functionality is also ridiculous. It claims to be a crypto app, but doesn’t allow you to send crypto to 3rd party wallets. If you can’t send Dogecoin to an external wallet, then why would I use Uphold and not Robinhood?

Terrible for Canadians.. This app is terrible for Canadians. You can’t withdraw to a Canadian bank account. The fees are super high to transfer between crypto and it’s getting more expensive. I hate the two factor authentication and the required use of an Authenticator app. I would rather a code directly to my phone. If I didn’t need this to play coin hunt world I would get rid of it. Avoid this wallet if you can.

Absolute ripoff of an app, NEVER PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS. Everything about the app is pretty good, but the fees are horrible, I withdrew 64$ USD worth of crypto and they took a 20$ FEE!!! 20$!!! Unbelievable. The funny thing is, my transaction never went through, so I paid a 20$ fee for nothing and they didnt refund it, I asked them to send my money with no fees and guess what they did? Transaction rates. This app is good except for a few things. 1 to move ANY crypto currency you pay an extremely high rate, (10%-40%) (with ETH) and makes it impossible to move with the user losing a huge % of their purchase to transaction fees, another one is when selling crypto you must have your bank account set up through a wire transfer making it more difficult to sell. If you are ok with random and questionable rates for moving your crypto off the exchange and happy to receive your earnings via wire transfer this app is for you.

Uphold: Additional Fees that don’t require approval upon retrieval?. I’ve recently started using the uphold app and I’ve notice my bank account draining, I am left with $7.00. There is money going out of my bank account, into Uphold and it has not been authorized by me, nor was I aware of any additional fees or charges to look out for. It also doesn’t show these transactions in the “Activity” section of the app. I am not sure where to go to address this issue but I NEED assistance in sorting this matter out ASAP! Thank you. By far the worst wallet. This wallet is outdated , behind the times as well as difficult to navigate Brave should move on to a better platform. All the address I want to send my coins to are working properly and used daily , but uphold says they are not in the right format It seems they want to monopolize the brave bat tokens . If you are not a Brave browser user stay away ... far away from this wallet *** Edit *** after many responses back and forth with “support” they closed my account and are keeping my coins . Not your keys not your coins !!! Very centralized and controlling with the mind set of us vs them !

ABSOLUTE SCAM APP DO NOT USE. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any financial/investing/crypto app. I have been trying to withdraw funds from my account for over two weeks. They say free withdrawals but I have been charged 25$ each time. First withdrawal was redeposited back into the app after 2 weeks of waiting except 50$ less and now I’ll be charged 25$ to try again and I’m guessing it won’t even work. I have emailed support multiple times and tried to use the online live chat but have never received a reply. I would reconsider my review if I got help to resolve the issue but when they won’t even answer an email or live chat help I would never ever recommend this app to anyone at all. Poorly run company. UPDATE: In response to the developer, my open tickets are 1034977 & 1105533. I don’t like how this company is run. It takes weeks upon weeks for customer service to respond to inquiries. I have two tickets open, one that was about transferring money into Uphold. That has gone unanswered for 3 weeks. The second ticket is for closing my account. The response from the developer here is to create a ticket if there is a problem, but nobody there deals with the tickets.

Ridiculous Fees. Paying $15 - $20 to transfer funds should be illegal. Even with the fluctuations with crypto prices you shouldn’t have to pay more in transfer fees than the funds you’re transferring.

This app is amazing. Edit: I just withdrew some money from this platform $XXXX.XX; it arrived in my bank account in 3 business days, despite quoting 3-5. No issues or anything. These guys aren’t going to steal your money and the platform is awesome. I would literally rate this higher if I could. All these bad reviews are just people who are salty they lost money on crypto, or who can’t figure out how to work it. It never crashes. I’m not sure why more platforms don’t follow this exact model.. you can link a credit card or any crypto wallet or bank account and transact immediately for nearly any crypto currency, major equity or even precious metals and global currency. YOU CAN TRADE ANYTHING FOR ANYTHING! Wanna buy some Tesla stock with your dogecoin? You can do that. Wanna buy some basic attention token with your credit card? You can do that no problem. It’s a great app, I’m not sure what people are talking about with bug fixes. I’ve been using it constantly for several months now, have a few thousand dollars of assets in it and I’ve had no problem at all. I love this app, screw coin base or any other dumb platforms - Uphold is where it’s at. Also they age a good email newsletter. I’ve never said that about any company ever.

Won’t let me transfer my money to my bank. This company is a JOKE, go else where and don’t let them STEAL your money! I’ve been dealing with this issue for 2weeks now and am still “patiently” awaiting a resolution from Uphold as to why my bank account was hidden from me as a means to off load funds from the app. after attempting a transfer. I have tried re-adding my bank account multiple times but it won’t allow me to select it, showing that it has already been added. I was told the transaction failed bc they need further verification for my bank account, so I uploaded an image of a voided check via email per the request of the Uphold personnel and have since heard no response and have gotten absolutely no help whatsoever through the live chat.

This App is freakin annoying!. I felt like I lost $50! Invested $50 in bitcoin through this app. When I wanted to sell the bitcoin I had to come up with authentication using ANOTHER APP - to get my money I complied to this rediculous request. I downloaded the other app and it wouldn’t connect to the uphold account. I logged out of my uphold in order to see if logging back on would work (and this connect the Authenticator to the app which it suggested it would) NOW I CANNOT log in - I need the AUTHENTICATOR to log back in? What the heck??? I try to file a complaint and apparently you have to come up with ANOTHER PASSWORD For it???? Can’t do it without the AUTHENTICATOR - this is dumb! I’m going to contact you guys if you don’t give me my money back, I’ll rip report this and a miserable rate on the App Store will be the least! Deleting the uphold app!

Scam!!!. This App is a scam please don’t download it. I downloaded it to by Zilliqa and increase my holdings. However once I purchased some Zil I was unable to move it to another wallet. The process is made to be completely nonsensical and impractical. On a deeper research I found that you could not transfer Zilliqa to a new wallet because they don’t support Zilliqa wallets which means how are they even selling it!? Then I converted it to Bitcoin and was forced to do two step identification against my will to get my own crypto. Next I was made to download an app to prove who I am. After completed complying with all this I have now been locked out of my own account due to security risks. Throughout it all tech-support is nonexistent for the app and website. Stay away from these people please. This is the worst experience of my life and I’m looking for a lawyer. Beware of these charlatans.

Awful customer service. Hands down the worst crypto platform there is. Only reason I still have them is because they’re holding my cryptocurrency ransom for 65 days (and freely admit this) before I can transfer it out. Can’t stake anything there. Garbage. I lost over $1k trying to convert my ADA to something else to transfer it out (they don’t have an ADA network) just to find out I had to wait two months. Traded it back to ADA and I was down a ridiculous amount from the 5 minutes it took. No, the market was not moving. No apology, no acknowledgement, nothing. The customer service is so polite and don’t listen to a single word you say and always end with “Regards, Kevin and the Uphold team.” Or “Sincerely, Andrea and the Uphold team.” This sounds polite, right? Well, it would be if it wasn’t so incredibly patronizing. They’re like robots programmed to politely ignore their customer’s problems.

they shut down my account and refuse to give me my money back. I’ve sent multiple messages. Been told multiple times they will contact me to let me know how I can get my funds back. This has yet to happen after 2 weeks. They shut down my account with little to no notice about why they were doing it, I had no time to react to it. It was just done. And now they’ve locked up my funds for some reason and aren’t messaging about how to give it back. Will be taking this app to court if they don’t return my money. I wouldn’t trust this app, wouldn’t reconvene this app. It should be shut down. If I could give 5 one star reviews I would. Please do not download this app. I’m probably going to have to report them to the BBB Update: I wish I could write 10 more bad reviews. Uphold should not only be shut down but the people running it should face jail time

Update. My update is that I got my funds in a timely manner. The process of contacting customers service was horrible and this is where they can make improvements. By having someone that you can actually talk to it would make the whole process easier and less time consuming on both ends. As well as ease your worries by talking to you. But I updated my rating because I got my crypto back. And I love the app other than this situation. To protect you from doing what I did which was a mistake on my part. Please don’t open up more than one account. It’s scary when your funds are in limbo.

Biggest scam. I opened an account with them and bought xrp and all of a sudden the next thing I know when I go to log in it says that “they can’t support my account they are sorry but they have to make difficult decisions and they’ll get back to me” I’ve try to contact there support but to no avail nothing has been said and nothing has been done I believe they are using our money to make money and then they are just going to refund the money we put in and the money we have made is going to go in there pockets because I have done nothing wrong for them to do this I only bought Xrp one time when I went to go buy more that’s when they all of a sudden suspended my account for no reason at all and they won’t even talk to me or give me the money I put in and the money I have made so you tell me what’s up

Great help. I had a few issues but when I contacted support they where on it professional and help fix the problem I would recommend this app what I would like to see in the future it’s to be able to load the app without having to pay or pay a small fee when you load in load out and then you have to pay for gas so basically we just spent a quarter of our money in those three things it should be one few going in and maybe a monthly

Uphold is great as of today just wish.... Uphold has been an amazing app so far ran into some problems where my account was under inspection? However after reaching out to the support team they had it resolved within 2 days 👍🏾 however I personally hold my ADA on uphold and really wish they just went ahead and added the ADA network or atleast allow us to stake on it 🥲 Edit: from what it looks like it seems alot of beginner traders hopped on during the xrp pump and are leaving alot of bad reviews but coming from someone that uses four other trading exchanges/wallets uphold is a fine app trust me theres alot worse out there

I need my money back. Just so you know who I am uphold please go search Gallo&Uwalaka law firm. I never ever leave reviews but for Uphold I will. I started a Uphold account and I bought xrp at $1.02 per xrp. I a couple days later I seen that a transfer was initiated to customer wallet. I’m thinking the money went to my account I look at the transaction report the money went to uphold. I’ve called and left a voicemail and even sent an email this is ridiculous I read the reviews and I didn’t read the reviews before conducting business. I then dumped $400 in there today assuming that the money was going back to my account only to find out it went to them. It’s sad and frustrating because people work hard for their money and there’s no one to speak to in regards to getting my money back. You have 48 hours to respond.

Scam - Do NOT use. I should have done my due diligence and realized how bad this app is. I tried to get in on XRP at a low price and registration and depositing money was very quick and simple but when I tried to withdraw my gains out, they placed my account “under review” and locked all withdrawals. I could still deposit money but I just couldn’t take it out. It made no sense and when I contacted customer service there was no response despite several attempts. I had to spam their social media to get a response and even they all they told me was my account is closed and I had to contact my bank to get my money back. They do not care about you, they just want your money in their system. They might be planning an exit strategy, buyer beware!

Uphols service. I like uphold is a brry transparentceasy to use platform. I’ve recommended it to allot of people that become interested in crypto. The only thing i don’t like is the time it takes to clear a purchase using the bank checking account. 7 days thats way to much time for me to wait. Ive done it few times but you can’t send your funds anywhere else until it clears. The good thing about it that it gives you credit into your uphold account immediately so if the crypto goes up so does your money. Other than that i would say Uphold just need to add few other good coins to its list like Chainlink, nimiq, n few others that will be staying strong.

Good App. I mainly buy Doge & I’ve never had a big issue. Buying is easy & minimum is just $10 & when I decide to sell. I’m able to withdraw easily & takes one business day to hit my checking account. Even tho, the note says 3 - 7 days. They do take a fee which is small but I thought they said they don’t which is wrong for stating they don’t. Understand it’s a business but be more transparent. Another minor issue is when Doge price jumps, the app tends to freeze. Please fix this. I was able to enjoy the profits tho when cashing out. If Uphold implements external wallet transfer, would be dang near perfect in my book. So, a solid 4 stars from me.

App hates letting you withdraw. This app is completely fine in my experience except for the most important part. That is this app does not any toy to be able to withdraw your funds. The only ways to withdraw are to connect your bank account or use a crypto wallet. However in my case when I try to link my bank account it says the account cannot be found. But this isn’t their fault, it’s just now on plaid yet. HOWEVER, what is their fault is that there is no option to manually link your bank account. I had this problem when setting up a robinhood account, but on there the option to manually link exists. But on this app it does not. So if your bank isn’t supported in plaid then your screwed. If they just add the option to manually link your account on plaid then the app would be so much better.

Terrible Customer Support. Lacking Transparence. Most noteworthy experience and insight into UpHold is they have very limited AND very inexperienced support. The C suite appears to only investing in scalable “bot-like” experiences where responses to questions are rote, unauthentic and is extremely surprising given it’s a financial platform with many customers having significant $ balances. Given my background as a serial entrepreneur I’ve even reached out to several (no less than 4) of UpHold senior executives (via LinkedIn and sending direct emails) and have been completely ghosted by these guys. This approach lacks authenticity, commitment to its customers and their lack of respect and care towards clients speaks volumes that they themselves are simply in this “for the money” — its all quite sad, frankly.

Worst customer service. This is the worst most aggravating customer service I have ever dealt with! When trying to start an account for the first time, I had a typo on my email that I did not catch through the process. I was told to start a new account with the correct email but kept getting errors when trying to verify my phone number because it was still attached to the wrong email. I’ve been told many times that it has been fixed and that I just need to log back in. Same results! I’ve ask multiple times to just delete the entire account and was told that it would eventually delete on its own since it has not been fully set up. Look for a better platform for your investing. Zero fees must mean zero customer service.

does it’s thing I guess. I thought the whole point of crypto was that the transactions were almost instant, but I try to sell some of my crypto to get money into my checking account and it’s saying something about a 3 day settlement time. I’m not sure if it’s actually gonna take three days but it’s taken long enough thus far that I’ve lost hope on having the money that I need in time for me to make a purchase tonight. If the money does come through in the next hour though I’ll probably change this review because most everything else with the app is pretty good, there’s just some coins that id like added is my only main gripe however it is what it is.

Account Management.. If you expect real-time assistance and/or support for your concerns, don’t expect it here. Attempting to chat with support is a nightmare & their email responses are much better. I’ve successfully deposited about 500 into the app from a linked debit/credit card, however, when attempting to convert into Bitcoin and send to my personal wallet or even convert into USD coin and transfer to my account it will not allow. I understand the ACH guidelines but this isn’t a ACH DEPOSIT. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated. So far, no good.

Hold time way too long. I would not recommend this app to anyone. A 40 day hold time to withdraw funds to personal wallets is unacceptable, especially when purchased through a debit card. You already have my fiat, you already got an extra % to keep for yourselves, you’re saying you gave me crypto but I can’t do anything with it. I cannot stress this enough; Cryptocurrency is NOT safe on any exchange for an extended period of time. It belongs in my personal hardware wallet. To the owner, I hope you reconsider this policy because restrictions like these completely go against what cryptocurrency was built for. You may be able to get by for now as a company, but once more people learn the fundamentals of crypto and DeFi, they’ll quickly realize the downfall of using a service like this.

If you’re new to Crypto stay away. Uphold was in a way very easy for me to use as means to acquire assets in the beginning is why I gave it 2 stars and not 1. When you get just a matter of weeks experience you will realize this is one of the worst exchanges you could ever have found. They have regressed from previous years. No innovation. They WILL hold your coins hostage. 65 days from the time you put your money in is when they allow you to withdrawal it. That is a full on Bull Cycle! I can’t even find another exchange that does this. If you make a trade they hold you hostage longer!!! They are so outdated you can not send your BTC from this address to other wallets as well. DO NOT USE! Stay away from this!

Stealing money. Don’t listen to uphold they literally lie in peoples faces and say that there going to change in the following months to weeks that’s cap because nothing has changed it’s gotten worse. My 2k that I have in my account is literally trapped in there for 47 days…. There making me miss out on money opportunities that I could have had on another platform…. There using your money when they say it’s a cooling off period why else wouldn’t you be able to pull your money out especially mines…. I wish I could show you the picture… best platform to use is KuCoin way faster and they even have a AI system that can help you make money and they have more cryptocurrency’s on there…. Once I get my money out of here I’m deleting this app completely and never looking back since there could at stealing your money…. Hard earned money

Good app to buy XRP but needs improvement. 1. Why can’t I transfer my Cardano ADA or my Polkadot DOT ? It doesn’t give me the option and I’m really not trying to convert it to XRP or ETH to move it to another exchange or wallet just to convert it back. So if you want to buy other cryptos I wouldn’t recommend. 2. I’ve recommended this app just to buy XRP to my friends but for some reason every time they try to buy with a debit/credit card, the transaction doesn’t go through, it only goes through if they pay with their linked bank account. 3. After buying crypto with money from a bank account, why does it require you wait 60 days to transfer that crypto? I don’t want help from the app. I just need Uphold to fix what customers aren’t satisfied with.

Can’t withdraw my money. I’ll start by saying the app interface is great and they seem to have a really nice platform. That said it’s been two weeks since I signed up and my account is “under review.” Which means that I can buy but I can not sell. So I’ve been watching my investments dwindle down with no escape hatch. I think this is fraudulent. I’ve reached out to support with no answer. If you want to review applications and it take TWO WEEKS then also restrict buying or funding accounts in that timeframe. Sure they’ll take your money but they don’t have the fiduciary ethics to let withdraw it. Mind blowing to me. I always hesitate to do any business with brokerages to apps outside the US and this is exactly why.

Transfer funds back into Account. I opened a account and Deposited 500 from my debit card. After making money I tried to withdraw my funds using the same method of payment I used to deposit. For some reason it wasn’t giving me that option at all I had to add my account and routing numbers to withdraw my funds this App is terrible don’t buy anything threw this App they let you instantly deposit to get your money than control when they will release your funds if I was able to instantly doposit my money I should have the same availability to withdraw my money. Everyone things Robinhood is bad but they are very much better than these other new Apps. I don’t even know where these ppl is based at they are out of the country not safe at all

Needs work on customer service. My 2 step authenticator magically decided to stop working so when contacting uphold for the customer service they told me it would take 24 hours before someone got to get a hold of me to be able to get access to my account/funds. After numerous attempts to try to email them still have yet to get a response and it’s over 24 hours. But they do decide to quickly contact you if you create too many tickets and ask you politely to stop. But when you ask about your actual issue you get the silent treatment with no response. They need to have a better way to communicate to the customers. With the amount of money that I have under my account I cannot simply just wait around forever.

Absolute nightmare of an app. I tried depositing $1000+ from an account earlier this year. Ended up doubling my account to almost $3000. Without notification Uphold sold everything I had and transferred it all to their customer service account. All because the app tried withdrawing from the wrong account which had no balance. So not only did they make $1000+ off me but they charged me almost $400 for fees because I had insufficient balance on the original transaction. Then after I payed the $400(because you can’t contact anyone for help), they refunded me $98 dollars. I tried sending that money to my bank account, but they refunded it back to themselves because I didn’t have $98 dollars in that bank account that I was transferring money to, which makes absolutely no sense....

Uphold is not safe!. I had $12,000 stolen from my uphold account. Someone was able to hack my account, change my email, and move all my currency off my Uphold. Yes I have 2FA, no I did not receive a notification, no email, no verifications, nothing. It’s impossible to get a hold of someone and now my account is locked out with a fake email with no possible way to change it. How could this happen so easily!? I contacted their “support” email, my account is now restricted but it doesn’t do me any good if they keep trying to contact me through the hackers email. $12,000 is not a lot to some but that was everything to me. Years of work, time, sweat, and tears. Do not use Uphold, you WILL be robbed and helpless to do anything about it.

Outstanding in Every Detail. I’m a diehard XRP investor. Being in the US, I am very well aware of the pressure that’s been put upon certain exchanges by the SEC. Uphold has upheld their belief in the freedom of any citizen to purchase what they deem is in their best interest. Self determination is a key component in any free society. For this reason I will forever be a steadfast, customer. Their service is outstanding, and I cannot wait until they expand and offer evermore opportunities. We all endeavor to persevere, despite fierce intrusion by ever expanding government, overreach and intrusion!

They took response but didn’t refund my money. I had my account restricted because my passport expired and I had an alternative ID card. They just closed my account without notifying me, because I used a different form of ID. How can you give me 30 days to get a passport? But the clowns didn’t give me any explanation or grace period like a couple of months to get a new passport . They said they could refund my money within 5 -7days but it’s been more than 5 -9 days now and the days keep coming without any update on my funds. They got me traumatized and I am very upset at how they cheated me of my investment and making me lose value for money as prices rise. I feel this is a scam to oppress me. I feel they are a wicked company and they have lose an investor in me and I am writing a review on them. They have so many negatives as no support phone number to contact and can ignore customers for considerable number of times. A lot of complain on Uphold on Trust pilot when I did a review on them. I feel I am losing my money because most customers on trust pilot complained of not getting refunds for a very long time and it happening to me. Until I get my funds back within the stipulated time, I will keep updating my review on uphold.

Uphold credit card. I use uphold every day so when they offered the prepaid credit card to get crypto back as a reward I like the idea so I used it. Two months I put money on the card. Used it within two hours and I got free crypto. Then on the third month I deposited $400 and they said I can’t access that for over TWO MONTHS! I emailed support and their instruction were to delete my bank account and do it again, which I did. It still doesn’t work so my bills won’t get paid because I can’t use the money for over two more months. 2 months and 5 days to be exact. The worst part is there was no warning that there was a change and if there was it was hiding because I never saw anything different. Very disappointed.

Terrible. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to set up an account. After weeks of verification back and forth, sending in bank statements and scans of my identification, I finally gave up and wire transferred 20k from my bank. That was one of the dumbest things I could ever have done. They’re now “reversing” trades I made with wire transfer money and saying my bank had insufficient funds (which is absolutely not true). Besides, the wire transfer is a wire transfer and the funds clear the bank the moment you do the transaction. Also, they do not have telephone assistance so you’re at the whim of hoping some auto responses bot will get you to a person to email you bank. What a nightmare. They’ve basically taken 20k and it’s feeling impossible to get it back. I can’t believe they can get away with this kind of business.

Uphold is the best crypto trading app ever!!!. I’ll admit I’ve had a few scares with uphold while I was having problems with the app. It was difficult to contact customer service. But they have always resolved my problem and I would realize that it is the extremely tight security that they provide and once any problem was resolved I seen that it was actually very simple!! I’ve since invested even more. The security they provide to us as customers to keep our accounts safe and secure is CRAZY AMAZING!! Uphold is my favorite crypto trading app!!! THANK YOU UPHOLD FOR ALL YOU DO!! Keep up the amazing work!!!

Stay Away!!! Stay Away!!!. One more time, stay away from this company. I had just under 5,500 XRP zapped out of my account this morning. There is no number to call for customer service, there is no live chat, there is nobody home. They require you to send an email and then don’t respond. I just lost 40% of the value of my account, poof, disappeared, and they have not even acknowledged that I exist. Even if Uphold does eventually make this right, this is a serious security issue and I would never recommend this app to anyone for this reason along with a plethora of others. There is another person who this happened to as well, exact same issue - exact same response from Uphold (nothing). If you value your money you will find somewhere else to invest it. This company is awful.

Easy entry into crypto. After trying many other apps this was the easiest one to get verification, buy and trade crypto. A friend recommended Gemini but they are holding $1000 of my money hostage stating pending verification for the last three months with no response to my customer support inquiries. Can’t buy, trade, sell or withdraw. My money is stuck in verification limbo. Uphold verified my account within minutes and I was able to buy, trade and withdraw immediately using a credit card. I was able to transfer coins to my Kraken account easily. Buying fee is a bit high but I’d rather pay that then have my money stolen/ locked out by Gemini.

Easy To Use. Uphold is by far my favorite Crypto exchange and bank. I’ve been using Uphold for over three years now, and I am just amazed how far this company has come in such a small period of time. The improvements just keep coming, and the best part about it all, the thousands of times I’ve used this app and their website, not once, not freaking once have my friends, family and myself ever experienced predatory ads targeting us like we have on the other exchanges. if you ask me, that’s an achievement in and of itself.

Scam. Apple needs to remove the app ASAP. They stole $900 from me! I have been trying to remove my money off of Uphold for 2 weeks now. The asked me to verify my account and I did, they asked me to verify my I’d and I did. I had to go on a Twitter rant just to get an email response. DON’T USE THIS APP! APPLE NEEDS TO REMOVE IT FROM THE APP STORE. Look at all the reviews of customers like me with a similar story, I wish I had read the reviews myself. I have spoke with more than one person through email and all I get a generic messages. I have a kid and I was hoping to use that money for food this month. Uphold took that money from me. They only allow my account to buy in their platform but not an option to remove my money. I know have to report this to my bank as FRAUD. Uphold I hope you get what you deserve for stealing from so many hard working people. Your company is an example of what bad business really is. Read these comments, you will not be around years from now because your reputation will be tarnished by shady business practices. WARNING! DON’T USE UPHOLD! IT’S A SCAM NOW THEY WILL ASK ME FOR MY TICKET NUMBER TO SAVE THEIR FACE SO CUSTOMERS THINK THEY ARE RESPONSIVE AND WILL TAKE ACTION. They do the same thing to everyone but nothing ever actually changes. Watch!

Early adopter. The new interface and the options available make getting into crypto easier than ever. I have never seen so much flexibility to what you can do with your coins like I see on uphold. When I’m not using uphold I use Coinbase but it’s because it was my first exchange. Anyone new or old in the space hear me when I say that uphold listens to its customers. Follow them on twitter and talk to them. I assure you you will see your recommendations apear in new updates. It’s nice to have a voice.

Inability to withdraw. They say it’s in their terms of agreement as far as which coins you can withdraw out to put in an external wallet, but they definitely do not make an effort to let the user know this before purchasing coins. But you should be able to move ANY coin out ANYTIME you want! It is OUR investment. I’m hoping to just cash out to my bank ASAP and be done with this horrible app. Make it so you can move DGB to an external wallet and I’d gladly give this 5 stars, because I do find it easy to initially deposit and make purchases. Update 3/6: I see that Uphold is making major improvements over the next few months. Very encouraging to see. I’ll be able to move my DGB to an external wallet. I now do not mind buying more on Uphold. And as soon as they implement and move a lot of the coins from tier 4 to tier 3, I’ll gladly give this app 5 stars!

My experience. I believe uphold is a decent platform that is getting more diverse as time goes along. I think the only downfall that would make me give it one more star is because the customer service is frustrating, it’s a lot of back-and-forth unless you figure it out yourself and they try to send you stuff but it’s usually canned responses so you’re dealing with automated information versus a real person trying to help you but other than that the platform functions well is easy to understand and easy to process transactions and easy to convert.

A SCAM APP, DO NOT USE IT. They take advantage of being able to blindly send your money to a wallet that cant be traced and pretend they know nothing about it, blame the users. Just developers taking advantage of how crypto works. I have mutliple crypto wallets and bank accounts. And for some reason this is the only one that got robbed. I did nothing out of the ordinary, it is where i was holding my XRP and woke up one day to seeing it sent away. I messaged uphold and they say it is my fault i allowed someone to breach theyre system. Im not an app tech creator. They told me to file a report with the police, the police cant do anything in this case of crypto wallets. Why would anybody rob me on just this crypo wallet, but leave all my others alone, and then even if you report it, they message you passive responses instead of replacing the XRP they stole. Do not store anything here.

DO NOT DO IT !!. I put my trust and money into this company and I was screwed royally. I invested, they waited until my investments tripled and (POOF) it was all gone. They kicked me out of my account, cleared it out and told me that someone must have withdrawn it 🤬 After months, literally, of trying to contact them. They finally reached out and told me that it was nothing they can do, it must have been fraud and I should contact the police. They ended the email with good luck ! Uphold took over $3,000 from me with no accountability. INVEST WITH THEM AT TOUR OWN RISK I’m reposting this. I’m starting to think uphold themselves took the money. Seriously, it’s sad especially having two daughters to provide for. That was my own hard earned monies. At the end of the day, do not invest your money with people that doesn’t even have a contact number for you to reach them. That screams scam right from the start.

DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM. Do not use uphold as a platform… I was inquiring further about some of the regulations they followed as it seemed like they are operating in a grey area of the US Government Laws and regulations to collect data and sell it to third parties. When I asked them to point to the laws that relate to this policy I was first given their guidelines about selling information to third parties and then swiftly had all my positions closed. After confiscating my money and closing my account I had to threaten uphold with lawsuits and opening a case with the financial crimes division of my police department. I have yet to have the illegally confiscated funds deposited back in my bank account. I am in the process of filing a fraud report with the financial crimes unit of my police department. Use any other platform to invest but do NOT use uphold!

Functional but presentation could be better. Works great for me for buying selling and trading. However, it could give you more information. It doesn’t even tell you percent gain or even tell you your total expenditures, you have to do the math yourself, like cmon. The only graph it displays is the total money in your account which is annoying when trying to find out gains when you’ve deposited money recently. The aesthetics could also be better, make a dark mode PLEASE. Also there are definitely some hidden fees. The value of your purchase drops by about 2% right after you make it. Sorry to give it 3 stars, it’s the most functional app I’ve found so I’ll keep using it but the presentation could really use some work.

Most user friendly exchange I’ve found!. In the complex world of crypto, I have found that Uphold is one of the most user friendly exchanges out there! Icing on the cake is that you can purchase coins that are hard to find anywhere else! ( I.e., XRP ) They are very responsive to questions and give prompt feedback and assistance! This is the only exchange I’ve used that has helped me move my purchases onto my cold storage wallets. The others seem to put up every road block possible to prevent you from getting your crypto into your control! Remember… “Not your keys, not your crypto!” I highly recommend Uphold!!!

Works when it wants to.. This would be a good app but when you cannot buy or trade coins when needed you are stuck with the price of a following market. I will hit buy on a token & have sufficient funds to do so but the account stays frozen will not let you buy. Can you imagine a 20% to 80% raise & the only thing you can do is watch. I’ve tried to contact the uphold team but they was very much unable to fix this problem. I would suggest using a different exchange that works correctly & has good customer support that you can talk to . Uphold did write me back on issues but they didn’t have the skills to fix issue. I would not want no one to go through what I’m going through. Please uphold don’t write me back on this comment to act like you care you have had your chance fix this issue.

Glitchy disaster of an app that makes it almost impossible to get your money out of. Putting money on there and buying crypto couldn’t be easier but that’s where the ease stops. Trying to get your money back out of it Is a disaster. Directions lead in circles, i must have clicked on the verification emails 12 different times just to be prompted to do it again. And the notifications…. Holy cow the notifications. I have pages and pages of them in my notification history. It’s all or nothing, There’s no way to limit it or select what you want to be notified. It’s either a notification every 2 seconds or noting at all. Dont waste your time with this app. Just use binance or something legit. Not this Mickey Mouse junk written by children.

If I could give this 0 stars I would.. This app is fraudulent. They use a third party called “plaid” in order to verify your bank account which most of the time, will not verify your bank account. Ironically they don’t use that same said third party to add money on the app. So you can use any debit card, cash app card, even the one from your BANK THAT THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DEPOSIT TO. Basically it’s as if they want you to Keep transferring the money on their website without a way to deposit it to your bank. Plaid takes you through the Whole process of entering your account information, even going as far as to show your balance in your accounts, just to state they are unable to connect that bank account. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend using this and that you find another more secure app for your Crypto needs..

FRAUDULENT APP. BEWARE!! THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM! FIRST I WASN’T ABLE TO SELL AT THE PEAK AND WHEN I FINALLY SOLD AT THE LOW NOW IT WONT LET ME WITHDRAW MY FUNDS!!!!! DO NOT PUT MONEY IN THIS APP YOU WILL LOSE IT!!! Just take a look at the privacy piece and how much of your personal data they collect, it shows above the reviews. Major RED FLAG!!!! Get this when I finally gave up and tried to uninstall the app being afraid of it even being on my phone (yes with $$ still in my account that was impossible to get out). The settings on my iPhone had been changed so that I could not permanently delete any apps!!!!! It would only remove them from the Home Screen! I had to call Apple support end after an hour and a supervisor they realized the settings had been changed to not delete apps!!! This was only after downloading this piece of crap, shady, fraudulent SCAM APP!!!! BEWARE. UPHOLD IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM APP THAT WILL LITERALLY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! THE ONLY POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE! APPLE REMOVE THIS APP ITS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!

WHERES MY MONEY?!?!?!. I tried transferring my XRP from Coinbase to Uphold Multiple times and it didn’t go through. Finally after two days of waiting it went through somehow!! Now whenever I put my banking information in it says I made it past my security questions but it physically won’t let me click any account. Even though it’s shown me before. Whenever I want to sell my Coins for cash this Fraud App won’t let me!!!! NOR WILL IT LET ME CLICK MY BANK AFTER MULTIPLE TIMES IVE INPUT MY BANK!!! I’ve already reached out to them multiple times but it gives me an error like I need the user agent name or something. I’ve googled and YouTubed it. I can’t find anything anywhere not even on their help forums!! Transfer your coins somewhere else guys. These guys are going to have a worse lawsuit on their hands than the other trading apps. Can’t even help their users. Shows they don’t care. I know I’m not the only one with this problem.

Below One star. Worst customer service and they cant fulfill the basic requirement of customer like providing 1099 tax documents. Its been like forever i tried everything even contacting them through twitter, Insta and FB nothing happened. These guys are absolute scam i regret using this brokerage account. Every brokerage account has a number to call to address the issue directly but these guys are so stingy they don't want to spend money on having a phone number and a person to talk. I have been fighting for my tax documents for a week now. They have zero regard towards the customer so please before you open an account with Uphold get ready for the hard days. They are absolute scam in the world of brokerage and crypto currency. BE WARE. Open your account at your own risk
