So much to learn, so little time.. Wix offers so much for a totally professional look, but it’s about like taking a college course to get it all down. And there’s no actual glossary with any sort of order, so you just look for what you need and hopefully find it to learn. But what if you don’t find your answer? There needs to be Q & A portion where someone gets on once a week and runs through several fixes that may answer common questions. For example, I have an old logo a designer placed on my booking page, and changing the background is a cinch, but after moving through every single option available, there’s no apparent way to remove the front image—and no lesson available for it. Easy to use, but can still stand some improvement.. I’ve been using Wix to build an online art portfolio, and it’s been pretty easy to use and has given me really nice results. I just wish there was a way for people to add comments to individual images, because the chat box is really for real time interaction and I don’t want to create a forum and make it so people have to make an account on my site just to leave a thought on something. I’ve also been experiencing a glitch in the Wix app that keeps me from being able to change my account name, the “private” one that for some reason is the name displayed on my website? Huh? So those fixes would be great to see but otherwise it’s a great service.

Internet. The app great. It’s connection with the internet horrible. My friend and I were working on it but it’s cuts out every 10 minutes of usage. I know it’s not my internet connection that’s bad, because my computer works fine, my other apps that need internet work fine. So I think it’s the app. I wish I could show pictures, but I can’t. I have a lot of members, but I can’t update with the app cutting out this fast. I always have to accept and decline groups. It’s hard when you have only 10 minutes. Other than that: It’s great, I feel professional, even if I’m not selling things or not making sales. I feel like I’m doing something good. Wix is great place to work from, it’s easy and simple. They always trying to improve. Also I’m broke, so I sadly can’t buy a domain but ya. Wix is a great tool for the rich and the broke. I made my site and mobile site with it. I still hate Wix ads, still their not enjoyable at all. They’re really annoying. Wix is soooo easy for my lazy-*** I love how also everything is free, and I have unlimited pages, unlike my past with making websites. Which I was also too broke to get a domain for. I’m so sorry formatting this like a YT comment but yeah. Wix change your ads please. Hopefully my internet connection comes back (forever). WIX IS THE BEST WEBSITE MAKER EVER. Also what about iPads, I hate using my phone. Like a literally hate for my phone it lags, so when will IPad Wix app come out? Sincerely, K-Pop Cookie

Real time tracking. I’m usually a little hesitant with some apps because they aren’t worth the time. However, I decided to go ahead with this app since I have all the other things connected under the premium account. I had just downloaded the app, logged in and on the computer side was doing some back end adjustments when a notification popped up that someone was on my site, what page, and for how long. OMGoodness. Blown away! I said to myself, “ain’t no way..” so me being me, published my background edits and went on the site live and BOOM! Notification pops up on que. Haven’t even explored the entire app yet but I’m excited for now and the improvements that will come for this app. Wix have continued to improve year after year. Keep it up!

The newest update and other features. I don’t know why things were changed but on the newest update, it took away some of the chat features and it’s a little disappointing. I was able to see when a customer came on my site, the. I was able to click on the comment chat bubble to see their city and what page were they visiting on the site for analytic purposes. But after the newest update, it doesn’t show up and when I click on the chat feature, it doesn’t show the customer. And this was a big thing for my business before this newest update. Also, what will help my business is “buy now pay later” option. I can’t get that because none of the company’s work with Wix which is a huge disappointment. I really really like Wix but it’s causing me to lose money so I have to make some decisions about my website platform.

Would be great but a HUGE flaw. I have run my business web site using Wix for years. A couple months ago my computer completely died and after a lot of thought and discussion with Apple on the best product for me I invested in the iPad Pro. I got it home to find out that Wix cannot be used on the iPad Pro and I lost a handful of clients due to not being able to update my site. Just days after finding this out I was also charged another $153 for use of the platform, an annual fee, for a site I can no longer use. Let’s just say I am now looking for a new platform to use that supports all devices. It’s 2019 and to not be supported on an iPad is a poor business decision that will eventually be costly as Apple further upgrades their products again this year.

Used to work, not so much now. I used to be able to work from this app quite well. I had no issues of the app closing mid-listing and it uploaded all photos so well. This worked so well for me, because I mostly work form my phone. I’m not sure what happened but now my app shuts down right in the middle of a listing for my store, I have huge troubles downloading pictures, and it’s all very frustrating. It’s the most frustrating because I do pay quite a lot to use Wix for web hosting my site, and I NEED to be able to work from my phone. Can you got back to whatever was working before, because this is driving me crazy and making life harder, and sales lower because I don’t even list items in my shop anymore. I just use Etsy. If I am not using my website because it’s hard to list items, why am I even paying you guys?

Can’t edit my site. As a website builder, Wix is really great. It’s easy to learn and it’s very customizable. I’ve been using it since 2017. However, the app does nothing for me, at least at this time on iPad. I downloaded it because my laptop broke a few months ago so all I have right now are my iPad and phone. You can’t edit from a mobile browser and now I can’t edit in the app. I’m not asking to do any major reorganizing, I just have some text I need to update, prices, and maybe upload some new photos to my gallery. But the only thing the wix app is currently capable of is checking on social and message notifications (which I have social apps and notifs for so don’t need that) and there is a blog manager. So if I was just managing a blog this would probably be fine. But I’m screwed right now because my desktop has been out of commission, and yeah, public computers still not available due to covid so can’t even go to the library to get stuff done. I truly can’t wait until I’m proven wrong here so I can raise my rating. And if I’m wrong now and just stupid and missing something, please help!

iPad App Needed!. I read a customer review from over a year ago about an iPad app. Your response was “...not in the near future.” Well, a year later (and in tech terms that’s more like 10 years later) there still doesn’t appear to be one. It would be nice to be able to work the web site from the comfort of my living room rather then being chained to my Mac even longer than I already am trying to do all the other business stuff needed during the day. The app works well on the Mac, although a bit seedy in traversing around the thing and confusing at times when first getting started, but I’m thinking maybe the new site I’ve developed (on my iPad) through another host may lead my subscription to lapse on the WIX app in March. Sorry guys, small business owners (who, let’s face it, mostly use your app) have to stuff all business functions into their day. Developing/maintaining a web site during business hours on the Mac just isn’t a high priority and after 10-14 hours in the studio, it’s time to relax with my iPad. Building my web site is fun, but sitting in an office chair even longer is not.

Wix App. I love the Wix app, except for the MESSAGE feature. I can’t find where to turn it OFF on my mobile nor laptop on my website. I’ve called Wix to ask and was placed on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. When I have CHAT OFF, I don’t want messages to still go through my Wix app on my mobile (that defeats the purpose, to me). When I want messages to my mobile, I’d have the CHAT ON. My chat is turn off, when my schedule does not permit that “RIGHT NOW YOU ANSWER” urgency. The MESSAGE option still gives me that feeling and I can’t turn it off, like I can do the CHAT option. I have ample amount of other communication methods for my business. The MESSAGE feature is not needed for me, on my mobile app.

Mobile view lacking. I find it completely absurd that after all this time, we still can’t customize the mobile view. 75%+ of my visitors are using mobile devices and they need to scroll down pages and pages of full size photos to see what they want. Would it be so difficult to just give us two columns?! A grid to make viewing easier?! I’m sure I’m losing sales this way as the average visitor will lose patience. Also, they click on a product and see the title in humongous letters and a teeny tiny product photo. Can’t edit that either. There are a few other things that are absurdly behind the times like the tax setup. You can’t separate by category. So it’s completely inefficient/useless unless you only sell ONE type of product. You should at least be able to compartmentalize by collection. That way I could make jewelry taxable and other items non-taxable. They need to work on this; tax is a huge deal. Meanwhile I stay because it’s easiest to customize my site with their editor. Did not like Shopify’s editor at all.

Bookings. I use Wix for my salon booking appointments. I recently got a suggestion from Wix suggesting that my clients download the app. Now before when my clients would book online I could see everything their name,number, an email an services that they were booking for. Now when they book with the app it doesn’t have the clients name or number. Just the service their getting an email. In the booking part it only shows service. I don’t even see or know who I am servicing. So I don’t know who I’m about to give service too. Although emails are fine I mostly contact my clients by phone. I will not be suggesting for my clients to use the app until it gives me more information on my end about the clients an their appointment. As for now I will continue to lead my clients to the website to book their appointments. Also I had only one conflict where my client scheduled an appointment it gave me the wrong time that she scheduled for. It was an whole hour difference. Her appointment was at 3:30 pm an her confirmation told her the same. But on my notification calendar it said 4:30 pm . I hope this doesn’t happen again. It was an inconvenience for us both to have different times.

Wix great, Spaces bad.. Personally, I love Wix. Very user friendly, at the customer service exceeds all expectations. I recently downloaded the Wix Owner app which helps a lot. That then lead to downloading Spaces. I’ve messed with it a couple times. It was bland and I had a difficult time understanding the purpose. Maybe a different color scheme and layout. Anyway, I adjusted my settings and now an option to download the app drops down on my Mobile URL like a banner. I tested the banner link and tried installing the Spaces app on a different phone. The initial set up process is too extensive. I felt exhausted trying to set up my own app, I can only imagine what it’s like for an unbiased visitor. Circling it around, when I am then greeted with non stylish themes or layouts, interest is lost fast. This is just my take. It has a 4.8 rating with 41k reviews so I very well may be missing something or they got a lot of mommas and daddies.

Bookings still not accessible. The Wix Owner mobile app forced us to use the Spaces app for our bookings/appointments but we still haven’t been able to access them. When I try to connect to the dashboard from our site it forces the old Wix Owner app to open. Which then brings me to a message that constantly says, “To access Bookings you need to update to the latest version of the Spaces app,” but there are no additional updates for Spaces that have worked to fix this. Super inconvenient for our business as I was just getting used to Wix owner app and it worked fine. In Spaces, when I click on Bookings through the profile it also doesn’t show. I can’t even find our site listed to join our site if that’s the problem - even after enabling visibility. So far it’s not user friendly, at least for us.

Online Restaurant Orders. We’ve used Wix for a while now. Their online system was great until they took down their restaurants app and merged it with their Wix app. Ever since then we’ve had so many problems. The orders are always delayed, we used to immediately receive the orders our customers placed online. We’ve also had so many orders that don’t show up until we refresh it ourselves. The biggest feature missing is the option to print. Printing allows us to attach the ticket to the customers order and they can pick up the right order. It also showed us if they paid online or not. Now that feature is completely missing. All of this has caused us a great amount of trouble and embarrassment in front of our customers. Hopefully they either fix this app or let us use the old Restaurants app.

Do not use Wix if you need to accept payments!. The app itself is useful for receiving customer chat notifications on your phone and being able to respond quickly. That’s about it. Everything else never loads and you can’t access anything. Also be wary of having your company’s site through wix in the first place of you need to use Wixpayments for processing. Customer service for Wixpayments is well below par. They also randomly deactivate your account for various reasons and find excuses to hold on to your money. When they do activate your account they will make your next transfer date weeks out instead of making an ach payment every Monday as their site states. Just long enough for them to randomly deactivate your account again and take 7 business days to get back to you. Total nightmare!

Inspiring but one big minus. I started using Wix a month ago. Within a few days of playing with it I upgraded so I could have my own domain name and more features, and access to images, etc. Wix is very user friendly both on your computer and the app allows you to do a lot too while keeping an uncluttered look. (Perhaps most amazing is the AI assistant you use on your computer—after doing a short questionnaire about you needs and wants, it whips up a website for you. Frankly I was amazed at what it came up with for me, beautifully designed. You can then do a lot of customization. The more customization you do, the more learning curve. But I’ve been so inspired, I’ve been playing with it a lot. I downloaded the app; it too is to super easy to use with attractive design. Thanks for the blog manager! BUT...here’s the thing: I went to use the app on my iPad Pro and, well, there is no app for the iPad Pro! I was stunned and disappointed. It’s not like the Pro came out yesterday. The Pro would make the perfect work space for Wix—more design features would be possible than with phone app. You could then have pretty full featured Wix app on the go. Please tell me an iPad Pro app will soon be available?!

What happened to this app?. I’ve been using Wix for 5 years now. The app has been incredibly helpful in managing my therapy private practice. I was able to easily see my bookings calendar and schedule appointments for my clients. After the new update, it is incredibly difficult to find my bookings calendar. One page title “my bookings” says that I have no appointments, and then redirects me to another page that shows how many appointments I actually have for the week. It used to be very easy to see my calendar - one click and I’m there. Now I have to click through pages and pages to find my appointments. I don’t know why that changed! Another problem I have with the app is that it constantly gets stuck showing all of my notifications. The app will say I have three notifications, so I’m thinking I have three appointments. I click into the app and go from page to page to find nothing. I mark all of my alerts as “read” and close out of the app - it still says I have three notifications. I can understand that any big app update can have bugs, but I don’t think the development of the most recent app had small businesses in mind.

So far so good. Wix was relatively easy....but very time consuming. I was able to get my site up in just 2 days (about 4 hours the 1st day and maybe 6 hours the 2nd day) part of that time was spent creating the privacy policy and my first Facebook business page and 1st FB ad that people can click and be directed to my Wix page. I just want customer service to be here for me when I hit road blocks....as I tried building a page with a different company, with Ipage years ago, then I had to buy a domain on godaddy, then I had to get a business email with Gmail.....sooo convoluted. Wix allows customers to send me emails, allows bookings, perfect for my business. Only one complaint, the hone page contact form doesn’t have a spot for a customer to input their phone number.

Unhappy with update. I love wix for our websites - so easy to build beautiful websites. And the previous app version, while limited in capabilities, was very simple to navigate and intuitive. However, this new version - while it clearly has expanded capabilities (the reason I have two stars instead of one) - it falls short on the basics. I see a badge that I have a new notification and two things have happened on separate occasions: 1. I have a new message from my website contact form that I cannot access, because although I can see a preview of the first line in my notifications list, tapping on it won’t open it, or 2. I have no idea what the notification is about, because once I’ve opened the app, and discovered there’s no new message, I don’t know where else to look for any new information. Please fix these basic issues so I can amend my rating. Wix is better than this app version demonstrates.

What’s going on??. We’ve been using Wix for a while, and it’s been very inconsistent. Most recently it’s stopped notifying us through emails that we are receiving bookings. The only way I saw that we were booked yesterday is that I just happened to check the app when I used it to book an appointment. I’ve been missing messages from my clients, and the therapists I have working with us are no longer getting these notifications through email. It’s very important that we receive these bc the app does not send them to my therapist when I book it through the app or from my desk top. So now I’m calling or texting my employees every time I find a booking. I’m exhausted from trying to get a call back because they never call me when I request it. So this review is my last attempt at getting help. Small businesses like ours don’t have time to be glued to a computer all day hoping for a real human to finally respond to them.

Subscriber Engagement. I have two sites with Wix. With the older one, I am able to reply directly to comments. But with the newer version, I can not. I just want to know who thought it was a great idea to take away the joy of no longer being able to engage with people who are subscribed to your site. Literally, what is the point of having a website where engagement and discussions are encouraged but you can’t even address each person as individuals. I’m incredibly upset and disappointed. With the money I’ve spent to build these sites, it’s heartbreaking to think that you no longer find it important to give people a voice on a website they pay just to be able to have that platform to interact with others. It’s a waste of time, money, and effort if all people can do is look and scroll but can’t even reply back to one another. Never thought I would have regrets with this site but I certainly do now. Not sure who the creative mind was behind it but they certainly didn’t consider the things people loved and made them want to go with Wix to begin with. Why over complicate? Are we not tired of experiencing this feeling. Simplicity is bliss. Now we’re just lost. Whoever the team was before, bring them back. Either make it better or leave it as is.

Does not work with laptop/main site. I have spent days trying to get any photo to upload to an album and successful only once...every other time it just hangs on 0%. The one picture I did manage to get uploaded did in fact show up in my photo album, but then it couldn’t be accessed in my media files for use elsewhere. Neither could I get it even to load to my media section. I don’t know what the disconnect is but I downloaded this app to be able to post photos and blogs from my phone/iPad, and if it can’t even manage to do that it isn’t worth the time to even download the app. The number of hours I have put into trying to make this function work is ridiculous. The help pages are woefully inadequate and when I finally reached tech support their solution was to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop and upload them from there...hardly a robust, sustainable solution. Suggest Wix remove this from App Store until they have a proven tool.

So many bugs...still.. Getting better with each update, but still needs work. This app should be in beta! Seriously, do they even test these?! When I schedule an appointment in my booking calendar, no matter what address I put in for the location, it reverts it to an address that I used previously. So now I have 3 appointments with the wrong address. Thankfully, I’m smart enough to not use this as my main calendar. But the confirmation emails are showing the wrong address. It’s also frustrating that I can’t edit the address after it’s been scheduled. I have to cancel the appointment and create a new one. I’m also still having an issue with the notification badge showing I have notifications when I have nothing when I open the app. Please fix your app!

Not really sure where my site went.. I’m gonna have to agree with many others; the site is harder now to navigate. Not sure what happened to the ability to edit and port in the main site blog. I have been looking for about 30 minutes before I gave up and decided to see if you had posted info about it. All I see is a social part which makes no difference to me since it is just a portfolio site at the moment. Before I could edit my site but it seems I can only edit the test part of the site that is a book club I made just to see what it was like. I have no ability to delete it from the app. I don’t even know how anyone would ever find it on my site anyway. It’s really just supposed to be a place to write snippets of writings for the blog and writings for the main portfolio but I cannot edit either of these now. Very confused and disappointed. Not all of us want social nonsense to mire our work.

Not great for analytics. I love the analytics on the wix website. We track visitors from all over the world for bookings (musician website). The site on the browser is fairly accurate. But what the heck with this app???? I like that it gives me notifications when someone is on the site, but 50% of the time the location is wrong and doesn’t match the analytics on the site. Then, if you log onto the app, there is no where can you find a list of visitors. The only way I can see what page someone is on is if I happen to catch them online and open the app from the notification. Still can’t track the pages they went to, but if I’m lucky I can catch their current page. No list of daily visitors. Disappointed, because we use analytics daily for info into who is tracking emails, where requests are coming from etc. if you’d fix this and model it after your website that’d be amazing.

Frustrating. I have an iPad Pro that can handle heavy tasks, but the app keeps forcing me to have to edit via a computer. I can’t even open safari to request a desktop page and edit my website there (which I would’ve thought would’ve been added as an option. What’s the point of the app if you can’t do anything on it. I’m giving two stars because the are like two things o liked and don’t have a month using the application, maybe the desktop interface and experience is better, but as far as this app goes, it’s too limiting and a pain to use. Matter of fact I’ll change it to one star. Squarespace is a lot easier to get started. And as a plus I can edit on a browser right on my iPad and have mobile and tablet mode I can switch through all without closing any windows. Barely using both services for a week and Wix is extremely limited when it comes to customizing a page and making out your own. Which is a shame

Could be better.. I understand that there are limitations on a mobile app that there aren’t when on a desktop, but my goodness. I can’t type a blog post on my phone before it stops scrolling and going back to the top. Sometimes, an idea comes to you when you’re away from a computer and you want to get it all out then. You’d think with the app you would be able to, but you can’t see anything you write past maybe one paragraph. I gave the app three stars because I could check my inbox and blog normally, but as for creating content, if you’re away from a computer jot whatever you have to say down in your notes and wait until you reach a computer because it’s almost impossible on the app.

Good but they get you with the small print. I built a free portfolio on wix and it was fairly simple. I decided to try and purchase a domain to hook to my site to easily put it on my resume. It gave me 2 options upgrade to a premium account and get a domain for free or purchase a domain separately and in small print it says but you will still have to purchase a premium account to connect the domain (which I did not see at the time, and who would think that even makes sense when it gives you two options). I saw this right after pushing my payment through and instantly contacted support asking for a refund because of course I wasn’t going to upgrade and pay monthly when I thought I was paying an annual fee for my domain. It of course was denied. But come on! To me that is some sort of scam. $30 isn’t the end of the world, but it is upsetting when I know it was just $30 down the drain. Because of this, if I do consider to upgrade one day it will not be with Wix. Good logical customer service goes a long way and not even speaking to anyone but just getting an automated message that says your refund request has been denied is a huge turn off.

Great site and intuitive to use.. I love wix. They seem to have thought of everything. Just when I think I have a question they no one has possible thought of, I can google it and wix already figured it out. I really can say enough great things. Wix on mobile is great and thoughtful too! They include everything you need to do on the go like scan barcodes to send shipping confirmation emails, add a product, upload and edit pictures from your phone, get a sale in person... they’ve thought of everything really! The only thing is I wish we were able to customize the subscriber login screen but that’s really the only thing.

Invoicing. I really only have one complaint about the app!! I can’t send an invoice to my customer. Example- I post my product on social media with the instructions to comment their email address to be sent an invoice for products. Then I have to dry out my lap top go to the main site create an invoice and then on top of that it doesn’t take the products out of my inventory. So then I have to go into my inventory and edited it manually. It would be better if you could create an invoice from the app and be able to select the products that are being sold and have that take them out of my inventory!!! If you could add this function it would really be helpful. I am on my phone more than I am my laptop. Thank you

Reverted blog post to older version. I’m giving this a one star, because it didn’t correctly cross sync with the website. Last evening I started a blog draft on the app, I then went to work on the draft some more the next day. Saved it. And later that evening went to continue working on it in the app only to find that it did not cross sync with the website and in turned replaced my draft to the one from the night before. I then went back to the website and to my dismay saw the older version. I just lost an hour’s worth of work and there’s currently no way for me to revert it back to the version from earlier today. Hence the one star until this is resolved. :( Also irritated that submitting a help ticket is so difficult. I don’t want to talk to a bot when I already spent 30min looking through the help forum. If I couldn’t find a solution taking 30min and browsing through the help forum, I don’t think the bot will either.

Little functionality and a lot of bugs. App still not blog friendly. Cannot manipulate photos with the blog or access photos that have already been uploaded. Feedback Based on Update from Wix (below): 1) It would be nice to be able to do more than type up a blog on my mobile device. The app allows you to embed photos, but does not position the photo correctly in the blog or allow the user to manipulate the size or location. A problem for most blogs. 2) Wix failed to address the lack of functionality on iPad. Even in portrait mode it only opens one way on the screen (flip it over and you get an upside down app - very funny). With nearly 81 million iPad users, it might be worthwhile to fix it. Update: Feedback from WIX team: Thanks for sharing your feedback. The Wix Mobile App lets you manage your site and business (store, blog, hotel or booking system) directly from your mobile device. You can also engage with your customers on the Engage tab. Currently, it is not possible to access the Editor, or edit your site, through the Wix Mobile App." Original Post: This app continues to be very buggy and offers little functionality if a mobile platform is your primary means of working. Does not rotate from portrait on iPads, ability to edit blogs and manipulate photos is practically non-existant, and it often fails to connect. Just be prepared to use a laptop or desktop to edit your site.

Wix for restaurant set up. First of all it works but in a limited way. I own a restaurant and set up my wix website to receive online orders. I also connected my thermal printer via bluetooth, and i wish Wix engineers can give the owner ability to change printing set up such as “auto printing orders”. I use Doordash as well, one thing I liked the most about them is that they allows user to set confirm orders automatically, and prints multiple (you can select up to 3 copies) receipts automatically as well. Wix app doesn’t have that option and I have to manually accept each orders and print them twice manually as well. Which it slow down our process of accepting order and placing orders in. I really hope wix developers read this and make some changes. Then I will be really happy with it.

Nobody Will Respond To My Questions. So at first I loved the app. It was simple to use. I answered all of the surveys with thoughtful insights. I started earning cash and even started getting value surveys, which pay a little more than the regular ones. I haven’t won any of the big payments but I was fine with working my way up. Well I finally hit a little over $10, which is the minimum to cash out but it’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received my payment. So I tried emailing this company over and over again but nobody will respond and I have no idea how to get a hold of customer service. It took a lot of time and effort on my end to get up to $10 doing little $.15-.$25 surveys and would like to get my cash especially since I’m unemployed at the moment and Christmas is about to arrive. This app would be great and I would totally recommend it if they would be available to assist the people who took the time to complete their surveys. Don’t download this app if you are not okay with wasting your time. I use several other apps to make a little cash until I find a job and I always received payment within two to three days in my PayPal account. I’m highly disappointed!

AMAZING. I don’t even know where to begin. I made my business and I can’t believe how easy it was. This is the best website maker EVER!!! It has a lot of features and templates. Did I mention a lot of them are FREE!!!!!!!?? Definitely get this app if you have a business that you are starting and needs a website. I love all of the product options. I can put what sizes you can chose from when you are getting a product and you can put the colors of the product that you can chose from. It also comes with pictures to design your website with. Even though not all of the pictures are free, I still find it really cool. When I was making my website, it was really fun! I really want to pay for the Memberships, but I don’t have the money. This app I would recommend. 5/5 stars.

Loving the potential but.... I have been testing and exploring using the one mobile/Wix app for months. When I first started I didn’t roll it out because there wasn’t the capability to monitor who joins our community and how. Now there is and when COVID hit, I thought, the app is a perfect solution for our growing community of 1300+. But I’ve not been able to launch because for over two weeks now, we have not been able to get the “groups” feature to work—it doesn’t show up on member pages for some odd reason and WIX hasn’t been able to resolve things. It’s been extremely frustrating. They are seemingly elevating the issue now but it took a good 1 1/2 weeks for me to not have to re-explain the issue all over, provide all of the same information, etc with new people each time. Yet still, I don’t have any answers or a solution and we are in our third week! Has anyone else run into issues with “groups?” I’d rather Wix remove the option of having them if they can’t get them to work altogether.

WIX Advertises Their Brand Not Yours On App. I would give the app in general a five star if it didn’t misrepresent. When you log into the app, WIX has its “own place” front and center already by default. As a business, I don’t want to see your brand overshadowing my brand. Please make provisions where the paying customers can brand their own app without your name being so instructive. It looks more of a WIX APP instead of the client’s business app. Especially when you first log in. I want my customers to log straight into “My Place”, not yours. And please leave the decision for me to decide if I want you as a neighbor or anyone else for that matter. It’s smart that you’ve taken the opportunity to freely advertise on every business that signs up. If we pay to remove your WIX AD on our websites, shouldn’t we be afforded the same opportunity on the app?

DO NOT USE WIX. Do not use WIX. I have been a customer for at least 10 years. The company double charged me for 5 of those years, -thousands of dollars. (When the chargers are 9 months apart, and doesn’t show what your being charged for... you can miss it! Like me) Then last year, 3 MORE unauthorized charges! $204, $49 & $49 and for other people’s websites!! They refunded, one $204 charge but the others they refuse. How can they you ask? It’s not even for my websites or my accounts! The phone calls were over 3 hours. One call I waited on hold for 1 hour and 39 minutes!!!! Just on hold, even after talking to someone for 20 min!! Then I had to wait weeks for email replies. Terrible company. Terrible service. They will screw you even if they are in the wrong. COVID-19 has made so many small businesses struggle, and WIX charged me for websites that aren’t even mine, and won’t refund the money. SHAME ON YOU WIX! Do not use this company.

Y’all have poor communication, and the app needs to be fixed!. When I first started using this app I really like it, now it’s becoming a annoyance and inconvenience with the problems that come with it. I blocked out last month when I needed a break for working and it would not let me unblock so I couldn’t use the app, I even emailed and received a response saying someone will get back to me but no one did. I just had to wait until my block was over for my clients to schedule. It is now a month later I’m trying to block off a certain time and it’s practically doing the same thing but this time I need a special time blocked every week and it’s not even acknowledging it. It’s still showing my entire schedule is available even when I uncheck the Wednesday box that whole day is still available to book. Another thing is when my client go to styles the pic is cut off it would be great if I continue to keep the app if you could show the full picture that would be great. Other than that i haven’t had problems but those are major problems and could affect my client relationship.

Still won’t work...... I’ve been using Wix for about 3 months now. Loved it! It was fabulous! I upgraded to the premium so I could take advantage of all the bells and whistles. Then, they placed an updated and now my wix is useless! My clients and I can no longer book appointments because the screen goes blank once you are on the calendar. It’s been like that for several weeks. I’m grateful that at least my current booked appointments haven’t disappeared however my clients are used to depending on this app for their scheduling needs. I’ve messaged feedback to the designers at least a dozen times with no prevail. I’m hoping this review reaches one of the designers for a fix really soon! Once it’s fixed I’d be happy to give them a 5 star.

Buggy. I downloaded this app in order to chat with potential customers online. I have a lot of issues with the “customer online” notification leading me to nothing. I always think well maybe there is an update which makes the notifications in the app work better, and maybe there is an upgrade that makes it easier to find who is currently on line...but the upgrades never fix the issue and there seems to be an upgrade almost every other day?? I use the app specifically to chat with online customers looking to place an order or get more information, and I really wish that this particular part of the app didn’t have so many issues. It should be easy to find the “customers online”

Disgusted!! And shocked!. So I’m over had not too long ago deleted the secondary wiz app where You can manage your platforms/but I went to download it again as I wanted to update photos etc and low and behold I download this imposter of an app! So disappointed! Because as a small business owners of several businesses that app allowed me to manage all my sites /blogs/chat feature/mail etc all in a place that was convenient. Boy was most platform wiz developers happy youguys came up with that. But now You have this new app that’s not even close to what is needed. Why create a forum? That’s what Facebook is literally with groups/chat with customers directly we were already able to do that before. Now it seems personal more personal than it needs to be. I mean I have been an avid user and wiz developer for more than almost 15+ years and loved the interface and accessibility and ease of the wix platform and loved where it was headed with the previous app. This app is not useful. You can’t edit your site/upload photos/nothing important to business owners who You mainly market too and WE need ease of a platform. Smh! Please please I’m begging You to fix this! It was not broken. 😳🤯😡 I’m just like I just built another site and now I’m thinking of moving to another platform. Wow! Please please put it back to how it was!

Customer support.. I’ve been with WIX for a couple of years and am now considering switching to another host because of WIX current customer support. When I first joined it was very easy to contact someone for help on making adjustments to my website. Now they require you to submit a ticket and it’s not 24/7. It’s also hard to get to the page of even submitting a ticket. For me this is a big deal bc I like to be able to communicate clearly and efficiently and quickly. Chatting and email takes forever to resolve. My schedule is very inconsistent so I need someone there when I’m ready. I also would love to have a search engine bar on my website and WIX does not provide that layout option. Hope they can make these improvements and move forward instead of backwards.

The Gallery part of the app is a major issue. I downloaded this app because I though it would be easy and fun to make just a funny website for friends and family and all of the features seem to work great, everything being nicely laid out and not confusing, but the gallery is bugged, or the instructions on how to use it are just extremely confusing if you can find them at all. More specifically I can create galleries but not upload them onto the site, I can upload media from the manage tab, and nothing happens. And whenever it says to use the Pro Gallery it brings me to the AppStore as if it’s an add on that I need to purchase to use yet the features are already there in the app. I’m just all around confused when it comes to the gallery and images on this app.

Great app for launching a small business!. I was first introduced to the wix through friends who started their businesses on the app. It seemed so easy to maintain. Now I am launching my own business on Wix and I love it. I highly recommend. The only 2 areas where I would like to make a suggestion are 1. On the website version I’m able to separate my Shops by category. However on the App version , those settings don’t transfer over & I am unable to keep all my products separated. For example, I have beauty tab and then I have an arts/crafts tab. Instead of ONLY beauty products being under Beauty tab and ONLY crafts under the crafts tab. The app lists ALL my products under both tabs. I would like the app version to be just as organized as the website version. 2. I would like to be able to play around more with various font styles, colors, and sizes.

Good app... when it works. This app is very good for helping me manage my bakery. It helps me keep track of orders and customers. But it’s only gets three stars because the tech support is atrocious. When the app decides NOT to work, and NOT to send me notifications, I miss orders. That’s terrible for business. When I troubleshoot and it doesn’t work, the next logical step is to reach out to tech support. I spent 48 minutes on the phone. Half the time was spent on hold, the other half was spent just trying to get the support employee to understand what my problem is, which takes a very long time with people who don’t speak English. My problem didn’t get resolved, after all that time on the phone I was told “it must be a glitch” (yea, you don’t say), and that someone would get back to me later. I didn’t receive an email back until three whole days later, and the email was simply a screenshot of how to turn on notifications. As if I’m so stupid that after three days I wouldn’t consider that maybe notifications wasn’t turned on. Horrible customer service y’all. Really bad.

Ehh.. I switched to wix from a previous booking site because I wanted “my own” website for the convenience of scheduling clients. First off, i find it annoying that clients aren’t able to book multiple services at once it really is a hassle for people to have to go back and schedule for another service/time and take up multiple appointments slots when they could’ve just done one large time frame. Secondly, I don’t like that a card is not able to be kept on file. A lot of people don’t want to enter their card to leave a deposit then have to still pay the other half with a different form of payment. The app itself is just super slow. I’ve set up appointments for my clients on my end and the app freezes and my client ends up getting a bunch of the same confirmation email along with multiple appointments being scheduled for the same time/day on my calendar. I also don’t like that I have to setup a number in order to text my clients, I already have a dedicated work number and do not wish to create a new one. As of now I’ve been having to go to the client profile, clicking on “edit” then having to copy & paste into a new text message. That is probably the most annoying thing about this app. & I’ve gotten a lot of feedback about clients being confused and how to register for their account or signup to become a member on my site. Overall this is just OK. I’ve only had my website/app since November and I’m really leaning towards switching back to my previous booking site.

Lacks options. I am extremely disappointed in just how hard it is to customize my website. The app might as well not even exist because my site never loads for me to even try to edit it. I don’t like that I can’t change the colors of the templates to suit my brand’s color theme. Or, that you can’t switch things around within the layout to be where you want them, only change the layout to options that don’t really look all that great. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s on mobile, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having the app at your fingertips to be able to edit your site and still not be able to edit your site the way you need to. It’s sad to say but I left Wix because I thought the old set up was kind to work with but this is way worse, at least when I published my site before it was how I wanted it.

Needs Tablet View while editing. I love wiz. I’ve been making websites for over two decades and dreamed of a user interface like this one day. And now it’s here. Would be a 5 star but since it’s missing one crucial feature I’ve rated it 4 star. My one gripe is that there is no tablet view for editing. They only have PC and Mobile Phone View. That means after every edit I have to publish and refresh it on my iPad to see what a tablet view will look like. Sure enough margins borders and spacing are messed up and I have to change them accordingly. Wix, PLEASE add tablet support so we can update and edit tablet view on the fly!!

New Version Buggy. New version is a bit glitchy. Not quite ready for release in my opinion. New UI looks sensational, much easier to follow however my notifications bade won’t clear... super annoying!

Wix Hotels calendar synchronization no longer working!. Calendar synchronization was one of the main features sild to me for Wix Hotels however automatic synchronization with .ics files is no longer working. I have to manually sync the calendar every couple of hours! This is a FREE feature for other accommodation software providers (ie: AirBnB and TripAdvisor Rentals) however is not currently working on Wix Hotels. Other providers also allow multiple, two way calendar synchronization for FREE however Wix Hotels only allows one way synchronization for one calendar! I have raised 2 tickets about this over the past few days, but still no resolution! Every time my calendars are left un-synchronized I end up with guests double booking. Not acceptable Wix! Fix this please!

A few issues.. Notifications won’t clear no matter how many times you mark notifications as ‘read’. Also can’t go in to orders to view what items have been purchased - relying on the email order notification to receive the info.

Edit website. Please add at least a limited way to edit text on our website. I just need to be able to change details on my site when I’m away from my computer

Cannot signin via Facebook. The website version of Wix is good but the builder is not mobile friendly. I downloaded the app to update my site on the go. The Wix app won’t allow me to login via Facebook. When I load the app and arrive at the splash screen I select “Continue with Facebook”. It reroutes me to the Facebook page so I can give authority. Once I’ve allowed Facebook to be used with the Wix app, I’m rerouted back to the splash screen of the app. It still gives me the choices to login - Facebook, gmail, and email. I tap on the option for Facebook again and it simply refreshes. It won’t allow me to sign in via Facebook.

Upload blog posts from phone?. Aside from supplying an easy way to reply to comments I’m not really sure what the purpose of this app is. As a young adult who is constantly on the go, I would love the ability to write and upload blog posts from my phone- something I thought this app would provide. Perhaps in the future it will 😄

Bring back the former app please. So very very unhappy with the “new” App. Sure you have developed some new features but somehow this has resulted in EVERYTHING not working well. Notifications and chat messages are completely ruined. Navigation is awful. For a website developer it’s incredible that wix has such a poor navigation app. I hate this app now. And don’t get me started on the blog feature - not being able to update using the app if it’s been saved using desktop at any point. Trying to insert media on the blog pages - photos keep being posted to the top instead of insertion points. Rubbish. So frustrating. And where are ALL the media files that I had uploaded?. The app only shows about 2% of my actual uploads. Fix this app please because my patience with it is less than the stars I’ve given here! 👎👎👎👎👎

Problem adding tracking details. Hi, There is something wrong with adding the postal tracking details. It lets me enter the tracking number but then can’t add the tracking number and the app seems to freeze on that screen. Have tried deleting and adding the app again, closing, re logging in etc. but still no success on both my iPad and iPhone. Hopefully the app can be updated soon. Thanks. Janine

Love Wix. I have tried a few website builders- Weebly, Shopify, and they all have their merits, but Wix, in my opinion, is the most contemporary and well appointed. You get a lot of features, it’s easy to use once you’ve done a full tour of the navigations, and reasonably priced. 5 stars from me. Thanks Wix.

Easy to use, but.... Its sort of easy to use, but here's my problem, I'm trying to start blog, and it's making it harder and harder to just edit! So I decided to delete the site and the support is telling me to find I ok actions where the so called 'trash' button is supposed to be, and now I've had to delete the app and reinstall it, hopefully it works.

Wix website. It seems wix is complicated to use for reasons of partner web developers third parties or middle men to cash in on your time poor problems offering a way out. If you don’t accept third parties deals then your wix website doesn't appear on internet. and your payments disappear. It seems that the third parties have access to wix details on wix accounts? This is frustrating and leaves consumer helpless and over a barrel. Infuriatingly annoying

App not removing notifications when checked. I use the app to view and fulfill orders from my store and I am have issues doing so in the last few weeks. Also the notification number will not go when all notifications have been checked which is annoying to think I have an unvisited order. When is afterpay going to be available on Wix. It’s so frustrating. I’m going to switch to shopify just to get afterpay.

Easy and comprehensive!. Could not recommend Wix more! Absolutely brilliant service that covers all bases and the platform is SO easy to use. Such an amazing way to enhance your online presence without spending thousands and everything is fully customisable to your brand. Needs App improvements. Great to use on PC but needs a lot of improvement on the app. Would be great if I could edit my site on the go via the app. Please let us be able to do this soon!!!

Consistent Improvement. I adore this platform. They’re always always always upgrading and adding features. This app used to be bare bones now it’s top notch and I feel like there’s no stopping them! So glad I chose wix to build my business with!

Terrible syncing with desktop. I had spent 4 hours updating and editing a draft blog post on my desktop. I made sure the draft was saved. I needed to insert a photo on my phone into the same draft blog post so I went to the app to do this (an hour or so after editing on desktop). The app Opened the draft version from day before, it immediately automatically saved the old version - replacing the copy I had just typed and edited! 4 hours of work lost!! Not happy at all. :(

Decent, but a tad confusing. The app has come a long way and whilst it does have a lot of the features you want/need, accessing these features can be quite confusing and I feel as though navigating the app needs a massive overhaul

Set of sessions not available to be booked via the app. Wiz has done a good job getting the app going but missing a main component of my business which is being able to book a set of sessions!!! Makes it hard to promote if this isn’t available.

Terrible. Wix keeps changing layout for the functions for unknown reasons. It frequently crashes whenever we try to book appointments for customers. Just when you get used to using the app, it changes again. I wish someone can come up with an alternative app that works. Stop trying to make changes and concentrate on fixing the bugs.

I love wix for small business. It is son hard to manage small business. Wix does definitely make it easier. You can edit quickly and get great apps without having to pay thousands of dollars. Love it ❤️

Crippling business owners. The app was decent and easy to use. Then it become complicated, I can’t keep up with the changes. I used to be able to access conversation and contacts… not I am confused… customer contacts on the website and in the app doesn’t sync… I can’t contact them via my phone unless they sign up as an app user which will cause a lot of inconvenience to my customer and make my business hard to approach… need this to revert to the old way please… this is killing me and my business.

The new update is driving me crazy. Old app was great prior to update. I can no longer see now in real time whether the customer is a return and how many times previously they have been— this was an important factor in the message I would send to them in chat. Today my automatic messages in chat just wouldn’t work at all. Had to refresh the app a number of times. Please, please bring back the data on return users and fix the bugs, I am losing leads! Nearly upgraded due to the feature to access more automation and certainly won’t be now

Build and Manage Websites With Ease. Wix is my favourite websites builder for beginners, it’s a lot easier to use compared to Wordpress and godaddy and the customer service is great, if you need to build a website for your business but you’re not tech savvy, try wix you won’t be disappointed

Not worth it - why did you change it?!. This version tends to update every second day because obviously doesn’t work properly. It SO limited... even mor elicited than the previous version. And one of the best features, quick stats (n visitors per day/week) disappeared... The website is amazing, bogs and Pages someday to manage but the app...😳 Tempted to remove it for good.

Disappointed with new updates. The set up and functionality of the old version was elegant and easy. It made life simple and manageable for my business. The new updated version is full of bugs and in the process of trying to make the app more simplified, it’s actually become harder to use as there are less features available. There is nothing wrong with having more options. I wish companies would stop assuming their clients are idiots and stripping them of choice. The new colour scheme is garish and not easy on the eye. I can no longer change the sound of my notifications. This is a real disappointment for a company that boasts successful and creative web or mobile design features.

So user unfriendly. The new version is terrible. Really difficult to navigate and the notification do not even lead you to the event when you press on them so you have to go and find where to action it. The previous version has an overview of the wix “hotel” activities on the home screen, so for example I could see which accommodation bookings were arriving today and what new hotel reservations I had that I knew I had to action. The new version doesn’t have this. It took me multiple tries to even find the chat!! What worked well before is now an unpleasant and frustrating experience. So dissatisfied :( In response to your comment on my feedback: it’s is the wix hotels app not the bookings app. So your response is not relevant or helpful to my experience of using the new app.

Love this. But for some reason in my account with spaces it doesn’t give me the option for Wix Reads but it allows my husband to view it in his account through spaces. Can you explain to me why this is?!

Crashing too frequently. Seriously, when is somebody going to fix the system that keeps crashing when you are trying to make booking for customers? Can somebody recommend an alternative app that is similar but does not crashes out as and when? It’s not like this is a free app! Happy to pay for something that works properly!!

Great. The navigation around the app is easy makes me happy that I started my own business and can’t wait love it all my problem is is that I have to add products on my website from a different device

Such a great app!. The best site to create a blog. For someone who has always wanted to create a blog, but has struggled with actually finding a place in which supplies me with everything I need. However, this changed once I discovered Wix!

Eek!. Heads up for people who use the Wix bookings app, this recent update reset my bookings settings which meant that clients were booking in appointments when I wasn’t available. Not sure if it’s some weird one off thing or if it’s happened to other people, but thought it best to share just in case so others don’t get caught out!

Photo order. I’m writing a personal travel blog. Just updated. Easier to use but photos only show as thumbnails. Also (and this was also true of the older version) the photos never appear in the order I click on them.

I feel like the app is a work in progress. So it’s slow AF, lots of bugs and crashes often but I can see the potential. They are constantly adding features and fixing bugs which I appreciate. Not the best app at the moment but could be really handy in the future.

Notifications that don’t exist. I keep updating this app on a regular basis but it doesn’t really offer me anything. I get ghost notifications all the time, and I can’t turn them off. It shows I have a notification and when I go to the app there is nothing new there. I cannot reset this. I find navigation of the app very user unfriendly. Everything is all over the place. I have three wix sites that I would like to access through the app but the whole layout just simply doesn’t work. The app needs a complete overhaul. The only time I use it is to try and turn empty notifications off, or to reply to a message. As I never get a response to messages sent via the app I can only assume they are not relayed if the person isn’t currently online. I only ever get a response if I send a message via email . I’ve had the app installed for some years now but it is still useless.

I love this app so much! Dev note: Autocorrect not working though. Thank you so much devs for this incredible app - I use it multiple times a day and it has been invaluable in building and updating my site :) One note I have is that for some reason when writing blog posts via the app, adding a picture Will crash the app, and also the autocorrect doesn’t work when typing in the app. Odd :-/ Keep up the awesome work, and continuing to make this app the best version of itself ever :) - Albert from Australia

You know, it can be pretty exhausting doing all the sitting to do the tedious work. It’s about time, really! And, please please please consider adding an Instagram-shoppable feature for the near future! Thank you.

Product not updating and please add sort feature to mobile app. 1. I’m updating my product quantity in the app but it’s not transferring to site. Few minutes later go back into app and it’s back to original quantities. Usually update as I sell in store but now I have to turn to unseen until I can get to computer to update. 2. Sort feature please. 3. When viewing a product, on return to item list it defaults back to top of the page. Can you work on it going back to current products spot. 4. Extra stars for search feature ;) Keep up the good work wix, it’s getting there :)

Great tool, but cannot add videos to galleries in this app. This is a great tool for managing our website. Only drawback is that while you can upload video to the media manager with it, there seems to be an incorrect file type filter that stops you adding a video to your gallery and only lets you select images to add to a gallery... (I can switch to the PC editor and add it once it has been uploaded from the mobile device, but cannot do this in the mobile editor 😟)

Easy to use. I love how easy it is to set up, so those who aren’t very tec savy can figure it out. I love the step by step configurations but also it then gives you the freedom to personalise to suit your own style. Highly recommend for those who are first timers.

Good but confusing. This really needs a detailed getting started section when you first download. It seems to need a manual but doesn’t come with one. The ability to chat with users of your site and see comments is actually pretty cool. Developers are responsive though.

Please Add A Staff Panel. I don’t always have time to go on my computer and accept new members so could you please add a panel where you can. Overall the app is amazing and is great to use.

Was good, notifications now abysmal. I use this App to track event bookings and the notifications where the bookings appear just never loads. It’s become such a terrible app - very unfriendly to navigate, very limited functionality and now the only things I could do with it before don’t work. WISH I could edit events on the app - new events, edit existing ones. Also the WIX Events app on the website has crashed out midway through people booking before and then told them it’s sold out when they’ve tried to rebook. I’ve lost some sales because of this crash and then the inability for me to check/ edit / fix event info from the app when I’m away from my laptop. So many other issues with events but that’s for another page perhaps

Requiring latest update 2min after installing. Installed the app from App Store and within 2mins of using the app it was stating I require the latest version and to download it. It kept cycling between the install page on App Store and the app itself saying I need to update. So fustrating.

App Blog and Newsletter needs work. Although the app has improved over recent months, I find the Blog and newsletter part of the App very clunky. I just spent 4 hours re-editing a previously mobile published newsletter as a template only to have it not save on completion. The Blog part of the app also needs a bit of work. The spacing of paragraphs and sentences doesn’t stay as I’ve set them.

Offline Editing?. Would it be possible to allow offline editing on the app? Loading documents and blog posts while on wifi is already quite slow and tedious, especially on mobile. Even if it’s not images or site construction, at least having typed documents offline would be an improvement.

I have no use for this app. This is a great app for booking notifications, but since the app has removed the ability to amend bookings outside the scheduled booking times etc it has really become a Notification Center only. Can only amend appointments if I have the booking times set - not when I want to accommodate clients which is very frustrating when working with international clients.

Messages don’t send. I’ve always been happy with my very own website design by Wix however reaching out the clients has been poor. They don’t receive messages and I’ve found it’s the same for them; clients reaching me and I don’t get it AT ALL. The whole point of a business is communication and sales , if there is neither then there’s hardly a point to this other than looking pretty. Plus I have notifications with nothing to show for it (I see other reviews mention the same)

Good but still complicated. I’ve had a bit of a play around now with the app & understanding it has taken some time. one of the most confusing parts is the lack of clarity between when you are using it as an owner of a space for business & using it as purely a customer. I’m worried once customers add the wix app they will give up in frustration rather quickly

Frustrating and complicated. I am sure this app is very powerful but it’s complexity is not user friendly. It would be good to be able to just ask a question instead of scrolling through dozens and dozens of ‘tips’ which don’t necessarily cover my problem. I am time poor and this is frustrating. I am having a problem with notifications. You need to be able to trust the notifications if an app is going to be useful. I have a constant 1 notification and I have searched everywhere on the app to find what it is notifying me about and I simply cannot find it. It has masked actual notifications too. This app tends to be too complicated to be hugely useful in our busy world and one cannot even edit one’s website from it. I’m sure it is a good app if I only had time to play with it more.

Can’t scroll down on blog posts.. Typing a blog post is impossible, after a few lines of text you can’t scroll down the text is hidden beneath the keyboard and you can’t see it while typing. App isn’t formatted for iPad properly and you can’t edit six website on iPad browsers... If you’re going to advertise like crazy on YouTube and TV, have something of value to offer paying customers.

Lost pathway. After 2 or 3 times email back and forth with my clients, it lost its pathway and my clients keep complaining that they didn't get my reply even though I replied right away. It happens a lot. So i need to call them to confirm their appointments. It is really frustrating. They need to fix it urgently.

Restaurant wix can’t receive orders on time. I have been using wix for my both restaurants to receive orders online for 5 years. and I am using SUMSUM tablets. However we cannot get the orders on time on the tablets as the customers suddenly show up and suprise us with an order. I have trying to communicate with wix support but still can’t solve the delay problems. I don’t know if other ppl are facing same problems or not. So I have to ask each server to download the app on the cell phone to be able to see the orders before customers come. Other than that everything thing seems work ok. Good luck

Not working. Literally upgraded it and it hasn't been working since I can't even manage my appointments this is horrible.

Menu bar in new Post covering up Writings.. This app behaves so weird, you can’t make a long blog post with it on your iPhone, the keyboard/menu bar at the bottom covers your writings, you can’t move/hide it. You can’t see your cursor and you can’t type because you don’t know which line you are on. You just have to stop writing. This is so frustrating.

Irritating Notifications. I really really want to love this app but it is super frustrating. I love the layout and it seems super easy to use but the notifications never disappear! I had a member join this morning, received the notification, approved the member and cleared the notification. Despite this, the notification and the badge icon just keep coming back. I have restarted my phone, reinstalled the app and the notification won’t go away!

App error. I thoroughly enjoy this app, I just get annoyed when I try to post something it takes me back to download the app (which I already have downloaded)

Cannot cancel clients’ appointments.. I am really disappointed! Wix keeps updating interface of the app but not seem to focus on functioning quality! That really make me want to switch to other website hosting! I would like to cancel my clients’ appointments. When I canceled, Wix indicated my cancellation was successful. But when my clients or myself want to book appointment on the previous cancelled spots but there weren’t available. It’s has been like this for a week. Please fix it asap.

Easy for amateurs!. I barely know what I’m doing and I find it super easy to navigate and build my site and shop. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking to make a basic site or an online shop.

Fraud. This app allowed someone to easily create an inappropriate and detrimental fraudulent account. Reported for abuse twice, was called on the phone only to told I have to email privacy to get the site taken down. Haven’t heard from them and this is urgent. Absolute disgrace. HORRIBLE.

Hoping for the best with this app. Great feature. Was excited at first then found it confusing and a major disconnect from the website. Focus is the Wix forum for me so starting to think I prefer this far over the firm access on the web mobile view. Started to dig in and finding a couple elements to be very buggy. Please go through with fine tooth comb and report updates. I’ll now have to wait longer before doing our lunch. Update, thank you for responding, however this is my best way to reach out to you and my review notes you’ll need to please do the work of scouring through your own product to find the bugs. So simple and easy to use. Stepped outside my comfort zone during the pandemic and began to create an online store Wix templates and clear instructions have made it an easy process!

Doesn’t work. This app is horrendous. The iPad app isn’t actually made for the iPad, and the iPhone version doesn’t allow you to properly edit your blogs. You can’t select text correctly on the iPhone, and it continually moves your cursor to other parts of the text. When you finally get it to do SOMETHING and want to publish changes, it can’t save the post on EITHER the iPad or iPhone. Considering the Wix site doesn’t have full functionality on a tablet, this is a poor alternative for working on your site.

Don’t like the new Update. The new update cuts off my website title so it doesn’t make sense. It offers the option to edit it but that option doesn’t come with a save button so it’s useless. There’s no way to save! Such a simple thing and yet they released the update before having it figured out. Not impressed Wix.

**Terrible. Waste of time and possibly scam**. They label this app as easy to use but in reality it’s not. While in app it keeps telling me to go to the app and then redirects me to here, aswell it seems to be slow in response time while in the editor for your site and I accidentally published mine, and have now spent the past two hours trying to delete the whole thing to no avail. I went to support and followed the “help”, “go to dashboard” “go to quick actions” “click move to trash” “click move to trash to confirm”, there is no click to move to trash button anywhere within the dashboard or quick menu(even when looking through every menu)** I have spent the last 2 hours wasting my time trying to remove the site/domain as I have some personal information accidentally uploaded.** EDIT: BOTH MOBILE AND DESKTOP VERSIONS ARE NOT GIVING ME AN OPTION TO DELETE, do not try wix as you might end up like me with personal info uploaded by accident with no way of removing it... EDIT 2, now the dashboard has completely stopped working on both... do not use... customer service on wix has been most unhelpful to resolve this issue aswell, polite but not helpful...

Frustratingly annoying. This app is sending me a on demand notification for EVERY new website visitor and doesn’t allow me to disable these notifications.

The one thing I wanted to do.... So plus side it makes it easier to upload images from my phone. The down side, all I wanted to do was update my dynamic collections (like the database) and I can’t :( seems like something you should be able to do from the app as it’s clearly the most helpful.

Of course, I could have missed something, but 30 years in marketing usually means they tried REEEEAAAALLY hard to not make it obvious. I just left one GoDaddy after years, because of this stuff... Worst app. I’ve been using Wix for a few years now... love their website editor but this app is truly horrible for tablet users. VERY limited functionality; can’t even add images to my blog correctly since it doesn’t allow you to search for photos anywhere but the media manager (which is disorganized) or my photo album, neither of which is where I store the bulk of my images (iCloud). The design of the app is clunky and outdated, not to mention that it’s formatted for a phone, not a tablet. It is not easy to use or navigate. Using an external mouse and keyboard eliminates some problems using the online editor, but this app is virtually useless. Come on Wix, I know you guys can design something much better!

Avoid Wix at all costs. This company is so suspicious on how they handle your funds. They have a reserve fund policy that should be charged for refunds but they take money out of your processing payments INSTEAD of your reserve funds, which is the purpose of reserve funds. So not only do they hold your profit for 30-90days but they hold it throughout the period you need to send out refunds to customers, so that you have to cover refunds from your personal income. The clear use of these funds are being lied about in the policy agreement, which is why you can never get in personal contact with a person on the team that handles these funds. Any smart person knows this money is being used to leverage the stock market lol

Its great but policy thing need to create your own. Its been a week I started my own online business website. Its kinda hard at first but once you learn how to navigate everything its been easy. But I was not expecting that you have to create your own policy to be able to approve your account to received your pay out! Thats a bummer. Ehhh. I really love Wix and have recommended them to many other bloggers and people needing websites. I love the site, it’s great! Very helpful! Can make all needed changes, the app... not so much. Too limited to me. I some days it hangs up and won’t post, some days I try to add pics and it won’t let me place them where I want them, can’t change the color of the font or font type, can’t schedule a post, etc. just things like the ones listed plus some more things should surely be added! The competition has these things available. I saw this commercial about creating a site from your phone and it is NOT like that at all! Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ just add some things please!

Works. Sometimes. Doesn’t actually save changes.. We’ve about had it with this application. While it works great 90% of the time, we had a larger list of major issues but the list has been getting shorter as additional releases occur, so at least something is being done it seems. The main thing is loss of data. We have lost so much data when saving. The data is marked saved and then does not appear when we reload the blog to work on it later. A save function or auto save doesn’t matter when it constantly doesn’t actually save, losing hours of work. This is the only app that doesn’t work unless I have full reception. 2 bars LTE will not get you into the functionality but will open the app.

Love the idea but..... I love the idea of this app. I like being able to connect to my blog on the go. Because truthfully I write my best stuff while I am traveling. BUT I hate that this is only for phones. I downloaded it on my iPad and it is just not compatible. The prompt doesn’t fill up my screen and it stays vertical. I would love for it to be adapted to work both on my mobile and my iPad Pro. That would make this so perfect! I just find myself wanting to type my blogs up on the iPad but because it does not turn to the side I usually type things up in pages then transfer it over. It’s so close to being perfect! Please make this app compatible with iPads with keyboards!!

Bug after upgrade - Please FIX!!. After the last couple of app upgrades, I can no longer scroll up and tap to go to a users orders while in the chat screen. This was a very useful feature when reviewing their latest or past orders. It’s very frustrating now to have to go out to orders and search for it to view their order information. This function is still available on the desktop device. PLEASE FIX THIS!! It was such a great feature. Why would you take it away? There is no easy way to report this issue in the app either. Why isn’t there a more intuitive way to report support issues in the app? Other than those issues, I think the app is great. Quick and easy to setup and use! I really love using WIX. The mobile app makes managing my store so easy and convenient. 2 stars for the recent upgrade that took away some important features and no intuitive support area to report app issues. 5 stars for the app when that issue is fixed. User friendly. Please add a feature so we can create coupons from the app!! I love to do quick coupons and I can’t do it quickly when I always have to go to my desktop I like having this power right at my fingertips !!! Wix is very user friendly even for beginners you can figure out how to create a beautiful website! Get 100% clear info before signing up. As for most did, I was laid off during COVID. At the height of it I decided to try something new a start a online store/ giveaway company. Long story short I contacted wix with my plans and they told me how everything I wanted to do was beyond easy and realistic. Upon throwing thousands at the domain, wix monthly fees, advertising, etc I learned the hard way I was massively misinformed and every single thing I was told that site can provide and handle was a lie. Only thing that worked was credit card processing but that’s a standard. I was extremely frustrated and tried called several times, they have the most uneducated staff I’ve encountered on day to day standards of info, it was always a escalation case to result in nothing towards the end. After months of zero help and progress I attempted to shut down the site and get reimbursed and they fought/ still deny it to this day. Extremely close to small claims court for Mia advertisement. Worst staff, and experience I’ve ever had, based off info I was told by them and operated because so.

Annoyed. In the app trying to modify my pages and it keeps saying “to edit your store, go to the Wix app”...then it takes me out of the page, into a browser to get a text for the link to Wix in the App Store. It’s literally a never ending circle bc I keep getting told to leave the app and go into the app. Frustrated and I just downloaded it today Nov 12 so it’s most current version. Edit Nov 16: I decided to use godaddy bc I don’t have time to email and wait for a response. The issue can be easily duplicated so you can use the people you pay fix it without me taking the time to do screenshots. I’m in the app and it’s saying “go to the app to access this feature”. Lol don’t have time to deal with this and gave up completely with this site.

Apps been great, mostly.. I’ve been using Wix for a couple of years now. I’m in the process of retiring one site and getting another one built. This time around I’ve been really checking out the Spaces app and it’s been great! The first blog post I shared was chosen as Editors Choice! Super awesome. However, recently there’s been a serious glitch with the notification option on Discover. The app has always had minor issues that are easily overlooked but this one is seriously annoying. Please fix it and I’ll gladly update my review!

New update is HORRIBLE. When I first downloaded this app it was ok, useful and had some features that I really liked. With the newest update, it is absolutely terribly. SO difficult to use, and half the features are just gone and replaced by random things that I’m sure no one ever uses. Not sure who thought this update would be a good idea, or why I’m the world it was changed this way, but I am very disappointed. I like being able to see when someone was on my site-which I still can see... but now it doesn’t even tell you how many times this visitor has been on your site. So I can’t tell if this is a new visitor, or if it’s someone who is returning or how many times they have been on the site. Again I will say EXTREMELY disappointing and just unimpressed.

Customer Support/Holding My Funds. I have had two bad experiences with customer support. They have been giving me the run around with transferring my purchased funds to my bank account. I have about $200 being held up in Wix Payments and for no reason. This is my second year with Wix and none of my bank account information has changed. People are making purchases through my website and I have yet to receive my funds due to Wix holding them. I pay for their services with the same account that they are refusing to deposit my funds to. How can you NOT have a problem TAKING my money but have a problem placing my money into my account. I used to love working with Wix but now I’m beginning to think their a mistake to do business with.

WIX APP and WIX Mobile Site. I’m pretty sad and upset with the new WIX app.... it’s like a completely different app then before, not user friendly, I can’t find my products and orders as easily as before. Pretty much every single thing that what somewhat easily accessed through the WIX app before is just horrible now...... I’m also not happy at all with the mobile version of the websites. 97% if my customers shop on their phones and this is HUGE. It needs to look a lot more like the desktop site! I spent SO much time on a beautiful site only to have to scroll for hours on each page via mobile site. Other people have beautiful mobile sites. This should be an easy fix. We should be able to edit more of it... instead of it being so SIMPLE... lame. If these aren’t fixed soon I’ll be fully exploring other sites....

Jack aster. Well, I was not all that happy with it at first I opened it up and I had a few issues after watching and saying to myself what am I gonna do? How am I going to fix it? How am I going to open it up? I started playing with one of the apps within minutes I found myself talking into my computer or into my review site here and Bam. I had it going. The review was excellent. I started writing on and on and on and on but all down when it comes to it is it going to help will find out. I’ll keep you posted.

Mobile usage. I downloaded this app and purchased a domain, but the app is lacking. Typing and editing is full of issues. it’s crashing when I want to add a photo to the blog. I wish it would work with Bear like other blogging/business apps do. But I truly wish I didn’t have to type up on a different app to copy and paste then readd my spacing, to the app and domain that I pay for. Seems counterproductive personally. Maybe I’m just frustrated.... But I also agree with the mobile formatting another reviewer mentioned. But that could be my user error. Looks great on a computer but horrible on mobile.

iPad Pro specific app. I recently signed up and built a website on my MacBook. I wanted to go in and make some edits using my iPad Pro, but it says the device is not supported (using Safari and Chrome). So I go an download the app...oh wait, it’s a native iPhone app that doesn’t do editing and it is basically useless on an iPad (the orientation won’t even change to horizontal). Come on guys. Get with the program, at least make it possible to edit from the internet on an iPad! But what would be better: make an iPad app! Sure, my website looks ok, but I need other options to work with in making the website actually work for me.

How do you delete photos and videos from the mobile app site !?. Unbelievable! I even left my number for customer service the don’t know how to do it and this after the man barely can speak English and had the nerve to be sarcastic... I’m uninstalling this app ! I used every outlet and still nobody can tell me how to delete the photos and vids you use in the video maker I went to manage media doesn’t have a delete icon !!! Y’all have directions on google that is not real I looked it up it’s just crazy to me that a American right has a issue right and has to talk to someone who barely can speak English . How the hell he or she going help me !!!! Love the app until I noticed this issue

missing visitors missed sales opp. I’ve had wix for over 5 years. The wix app is not as functional as it used to be. If a visitor is in your site you’ll never be able to engage them until they speak to you. That’s missed opportunities. The only way to engage them is to hit the notification button on your phones home screen which I do more than 50 times a day. You’ll never be able to open the app and see the amount of visitors or engage. Just catch the notifications. Then when a visitor is on the site, the automated pop up welcome box does t always pop up.

Please take my money. I downloaded the app so I could check our account because I got email that our form of payment didn’t go through for renewal and it doesn’t appear that the mobile web browser version has that option. The first page of the app ONLY gives you the option to “Create your own presence” by signing up (not logging in) by Facebook, Google, or email, so I went ahead and entered my email, thinking it might realize it’s an existing user and prompt me to login. It did move me to the next page asking for a password, so I called up my keychain and chose the password corresponding to the email I’d used. Once chosen, the app took me right back to the first page of the app. Looks like I have to break out the ‘ol laptop to give you money, Wix.

Can’t edit your blog!!. This app is useless when it comes to writing/editing your blog. I’m surprised that in this day and age I still have to tied to my desktop to post. It’s super frustration and I am deeply disappointed. Currently when I go to edit a post, it gives me a message that says “Limited editing options” that takes up 1/4 of the screen. Between the keyboard and this not helpful message, I have access to about an inch of my screen. Then when I try to edit, I make one keyboard stroke and it send me to the bottom of my post. I have to scroll back to where I was. The same thing happens for a new post. Useless and limiting! I have no idea how the other features work on this app but I’m not keen to find out. Being able to blog on my phone is super important and this app disappoints.

Blog Text Can’t Be Read, Unusable. I purchased two sites and used different templates to get them set up with format and content. Everything is fine, but the blog on one of the templates has a quirky problem: you can’t read your content because there is no contrast between font and background. The fonts by default come on the page white against a white background. The instructions say, “ You can begin composing now...” Obviously, you can’t see any verbiage because it’s white on white. The template doesn’t allow for changing color of the font. I don’t think it should be this hard to compose and display a blog posting! Poor design! This is surprising since Wix is generally great.

Thanks!. There was a bit of a learning curve with the new update. I run a small business that operates by appointment. I love that I can now book and edit appointments without having to input all of my client’s information and easily move appointments to different time slots or different days. I’ve been patiently waiting for this update. I’ve been a fan of wix for three years now and love the simplicity. I am always getting clients who comment on how simple it is to book online. It has definitely allowed me to focus on my work, not on the nitty gritty details like scheduling. Keep up the good work!

Where to cancel?. My 9 year old son downloaded this app from his ipad which is configured to not be able to buy or download a single thing without my touch ID. I have no idea how this app charged my card for about US$19 and I’m trying to cancel but there seems to be no subscription or anything on my son’s wix account, so I can’t cancel a payment I apparently didn’t make (but is in my card), therefore I can’t erase his account. I can’t believe it’s that easy for a 9 year old to buy something from this app and SO HARD for a tech savvy adult to cancel the purchase. How can the age rating for this app be 4+?? Seriously, a 5 year old kid could have an account and buy stuff from it? Please! This smells like scam to me. Save yourselves from this app.

Wiz Merchant Processing down on my Website!. Welp; once again, Wix has decided to ask for a bunch of paperwork and documentation and disabled our credit card/merchant processing on our website RIGHT in time for the holidays! Even though we’ve submitted these documents last year, here we go again. I realize there are regulations and protocol, but we’re a small mom and pop e-commerce coffee roastery. Our online sales are only able to use PayPal until we submit the documents…..again. Why so suspect, Wix? Why aren’t your algorithms set up to expect higher volume sales without triggering a full federal investigation? Ridiculous. Guess PayPal will make their fees off of my customer’s orders this holiday season. 🤷🏻‍♀️

iPad Pro compatibility. I’m trying to set up my new business website. Luckily I’ve given myself plenty of time for this. 2 problems so far: 1. The app doesn’t function on an iPad Pro. I no longer have/use a laptop or desktop, so this is a disaster for me. It’s stuck on vertical as I’m on horizontal with my attached keyboard. Absured. I’ve tried locking and unlocking the screen rotation to no avail. You have to fix this. 2. If I go web-based (which I have to do right now because I can’t function on the App with the screen sideways!!), on several pages, the screen doesn’t scroll down. What???? Specifially, the “get a domain name page”. Most of the other pages I’ve been on so far today slide around with touch. But no that one. Again - please fix this. Your WHOLE APP needs to function on an iPad Pro. And your WHOLE website needs to function on an iPad Pro using the web. Frankly, using the web version is more user friendly but it’s annoying when something doesn’t work. I really hope you can fix this. My new business is relying on this. If I can’t set up my website, it’s pointless.

3.5 it would be 4.5 except one issue: accessibility.. For me that means dark mode. I really need dark mode on my screens given how often I’m on my computer. I’ve recently connected my website to the Spaces app and the Wix owner app and they are really fabulous. I’m really enjoying how easy they are to use— minus the fact I absolutely have to do most changes to the website itself on the desktop. Other than that I spend a lot of time on the apps and that also means I really need the developers to “develop” dark mode. It is interfering with how productive I can be and causing me to make silly mistakes. Please address this! I will happily update my rating! 🙏🏻

Love it but I need spell check.. I’ve been using wiz for the last 4 years for my Business. It’s come a long way since then. One complaint I have is there isn’t a spell check option when adding new product to your page. I know how to spell however, having that certainty you are misspelling something is a nice feature. Wix has it when adding things on the website pages itself but when you’re adding product to the store, you have to be careful. Can we please add it! ❤️

crashing?!. So i recently started using wix for my small business because it was easier to set up and easy to manage. I love wix. I started by using the website it was perfectly fine. then i downloaded the app so i can post my pictures of my products on there. Well at first it worked perfectly fine. Then I started noticing that every time I open the app it crashes. I will open the app and it will freeze it will just be a purple screen with the word wix on it and then it will automatically kick me out and take me to my home screen. so every time I want to use it I will have to delete the app and redone load it .😒

Good but.... I like Wix I really do. Great to develop sites on. However I think that as an e-commerce business Wix isn’t the best site. It doesn’t have a lot of things that help us such as pay later capability, apply pay, and so on. You can’t set up Instagram shopping with it either and editing the mobile site I’d nearly impossible. If wix added things such as after pay and quad pay and more payment options It’d be so much better. But the way it is now, if you have an online biz I wouldn’t recommend. I hope they change because I’d hate to have to move to Shopify or another platform.

This app is so glitchy!!. I used to be able to post from my phone with no problems. Now, when I try to post all the pictures go to the top of the blog post. I can’t space them out in any way, nor can I even scroll to the bottom of the page. The cursor keeps going to the top of the page. I’ve tried deleting the app and installing it again, with no relief. It’s making me want to switch site providers. I’ve even spoken with tech support on numerous occasions and gotten absolutely no help. Now, after the update, the app is even worse! It’s really hard to find options, and the picture library doesn’t access your newest photos, so you can post easily. I am thinking of discontinuing my service with this company.

Minimal options. Heard good things so decided to use Wix for a blog. The interface isn’t that user friendly. You can’t customize layout colors or customize or move font. You can’t customize text boxes. The app won’t let me edit or write blogs at all. When I select to edit blog (already in my app) it tells me to open the app and takes me to the Apple store where I reopen the app in the store and am taken back to the page I was initially on to edit from the start and I go through the whole process over and over, never getting to an interface where I can actually edit or view my blog. There’s minimal room for creativity and it’s turned out to be quite useless for me.

⚠️ 3 Major Issues. First, I have many apps on my phone and this is the only one that spams me promotional notifications. This app is not business friendly. I’m paying a lot of money for this and it’s not fair that I have all my notifications settings set correctly and I’m still receiving promotional push notifications. This has ultimately ruined the app experience from Wix. It makes me want to remove the app but I can’t for the sake of my customers, so because of that, I am rating 2 stars. Second, I don’t like the fact that WIX advertises their products on your website such as the login page, apps, etc. I pay way too much money for you to commission off of MY customers. Third, to contact a real person to help you resolve an issue is literally IMPOSSIBLE. Your support page is designed so that no one can contact you. Horrible! I would not recommend this app and I do not need a developer to copy and paste their same response. I don’t need to email you for assistance. I just ask you all to stop being so selfish with your products!!!

Impossible to edit on mobile devices. Great in theory unfortunately it’s impossible to use in real life. You cannot edit anything on the website. You cannot change or delete blog posts, etc. It just keeps going back-and-forth between asking you to open the mobile app sending you to the App Store back to the mobile app back to the App Store and back to the mobile app again. This is unfortunate as a successful blogger needs to be able to manage their blog from anywhere they might be. Unfortunately you cannot do that on the mobile app. I created the site using the premade templates and everything was auto created and you still cannot manage anything via the mobile app. It’s pretty useless.

Love this app. This app is actually pretty easy to use I’ve went through five different website builders and I noticed that this one is also the cheapest when you’re ready to subscribe and actually upgrade your account also as far as updating the site is incredibly easy beginner friendly and I can also do a lot of things through my phone instead of having a computer however a computer is recommended to get the full look but the phone works just as well with this app

Wix App Thoughts:. Everything is nice, the interface could use slight improvements & I don’t feel you should be forced to have a live chat inside the app if you don’t want it or if the site already provides it. A few months ago it was easier to access my Blog page and Add/Delete Blog Posts along with Editing them, nowadays it creates a whole entire new blog system in the app which doesn’t make sense since it isn’t a continuation off the one on my Wix Premium Website. Most importantly, it would be nice to incorporate a Mobile Editor so you can customize the actual website on the phone and not limited to it on a PC.

I’m having loading issues when using desktop. For days now I’ve been trying to edit my website to add the rest of what I want that I can’t do in mobile so when I go online to desktop version it lets me do whatever in six editor ADI but when I want to goto Editor X, the place where I need to go isn’t loading and when I try updating it in ADI it’s makes it where I can’t see anything when editing and when I try to publish it it says “please wait” and I waited for 6 hours for either editor X and 1 hour to get past making my site live....this is ridiculous I pay good money and I should be getting my full running of the site. If y’all can’t fix it, I want to get a refund!!! Please fix immediately Ps I have absolutely no problem in the app, it’s when I use editor ADI and X or try to make it live! PLEASE FIX DESKTOP VERSION!!!! So I can continue my work. Thanks, -Matthew Crain

Sheesh. Common son. I don’t want another app but seems I’m forced to use spaces and there is no option to just simply manage my website. Sheeesh. Maybe this is not the right place for me thx for your response but I’m confused even more I’m looking for a simple service that I can edit a page dmfor the World Wide Web. With all my accounts and passwords apple ids and google and fb and Twitter and my banking and just about every and their em user names and new passwords. Universe knows I don’t need another one to manage and it’s not even proven u guys wasted my time around two weeks I’m cancelling and looking elsewhere because seriously I don’t need another app. Dead serious. Its driving me crazy already as is. Smh. Wow. Hella time and money invested gone ill never get back tricked into helping u develops a Mobil app.

Worthless. This is a completely worthless app. All I need to do is edit my website through my phone because I currently don’t have internet to work on it with my laptop and there is literally no way to edit wix websites on mobile. This app doesn’t do anything important and it was a waste of my time even downloading it to begin with. Being able to access your website on the go especially if it’s your business is extremely important and being unable to do so renders wix inferior to most other website builders. I truly hope they fix this massive issue so I can continue to do business with them in the future. But until then I will have to look elsewhere for a host site for my shop.

Great potential, but always glitchy.. This app has great potential as an alternative social media platform. I just get frustrated with it because it’s always glitchy! One of my groups that I host suddenly reset and deleted all of my media and threads. Sometimes I can upload media, sometimes I can’t. It’s a toss up. Right now, I cannot upload posts to to my groups. I’ve been trying to update my clients all day and it will not allow me to post. I’ll get notifications that someone has commented on a blog and then there are no comments. It’s really a mess. I love the app but I wish the developers could iron out the glitches.

Search feature. At this point, this app requires 3-4 updates a week, and yet they have still not added one of the most simple yet necessary features; a search bar. I am constantly on the go, so I communicate with my customers through the chat on the app. But when I need to refer to a conversation with a certain customer, I have to scroll through dozens of messages to find the one I need and usually missing the name while scrolling. This is a simple fix, just implement a search bar in the chat section so people can search customers names or keywords. I haven’t encountered an email or message system that doesn’t have this very basic feature. Why is this still a problem?

Frustrating. I use wix for my blog... and the mobile app is garbage. I’ve removed it from my phone a number of times after downloading because it’s nearly useless. After downloading this most recent time, I was rather impressed with the seemingly updated features. I decided to start a blog post within the app and it seems to have the same flawed feature as the website does at times. Once you get the page full of content: if it needs to expand, it doesn’t! You can scroll to the bottom only to be bumped back to the top as soon as you start typing, so there is no way to see the words. VERY FRUSTATING!!!!! Wix may be “free” for those of us who use the service as a hobby but it is becoming my least favorite. I won’t be using it once I decide to upgrade, that’s for sure.

Great platform for the not so Tech Savvy Population. It’s been fairly easy to build my professional looking online store. The “Chat” feature is a convenient way to interact with customers while they are on your website. One of the drawbacks is the fact that many of the functions I have added to my site have all come at additional monthly charges. The Wix “dashboard” or “website editor” are not accessible from an iPad. You must use a PC or laptop to work on your website. Also, Wix is not connected to USPS or any shipping company. This makes printing postal labels more expensive and time consuming.

Semi- False advertising. Why did I have to come to the limited reviews to see you can only edit your site if it’s an ADI site with this app...? And you know how many people opted to create their site customized starting on a laptop/computer...? It was from that site that I was advised to be able to edit my site with the app, and the app description & photos don’t seem to mention this inconvenient detail... im not that annoyed since you can edit the mobile version on your computer anyways, and I don’t particularly need to edit my site on the go too much, but DEFINITELY a big let down. Especially since I don’t really have the kind of site to reep the benefits from the limited marketing/analytics this app has anyways.

Crashes. The app also crashes multiple times an hour. It is ALWAYS crashing. Doesn’t matter what phone I use. Also, it has endless problems. For instance, today it won’t upload my product photos. It is such a huge source of frustration, as I’ve already paid $400 this year to have them host my website. They also don’t have shipping like Etsy does, so you have to find an outside shipper or pay heavily for the one they’ve contracted with. They do have user friendly features, and I keep hoping they’ll improve. But I have definitely lost business, as customers tell me the website is often down. Regardless of following Wix IT support recommendations.

I love wix but the app and mobile site is awful. You guys have got to fix the blog on the app. When you’re typing a post and you get to where the keyboard is, the page won’t scroll down. So you can’t see what you are typing. If you try to scroll down it just forces the page back up once you move your finger. The typing also get extremely delayed once you get to that point. I can type a sentence and just sit there while the input catches up. With each update I am hopeful that the problem has been fixed but it never is. Please fix it, I really like this site.

Constant problems. I thought it would be an amazing app, if I didn’t have to go through a million hoops to even get into my account. I’ve confirmed my email 20 different times by now, and not once has it allowed me because supposedly it isn’t confirmed yet. I payed $3 for something I can’t even use, very frustrating and very irritating. I heard such great things about this app and joined to support one of my favorite authors, turns out this app is complete bologna. I want my money back. If I can get into my account, my opinion may change. But so far, unimpressed. I would say I would never use it again, but I haven’t even gotten the chance to use it once. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Could be better. I’ve been using this app since they kind of force it on you when you try to access the desktop site on a mobile device. It is convenient in a lot of ways but the fact that you can’t print an order form from the mobile app is ridiculous. I like to include copies of each order when I ship out packages and each time I have to log into the computer just to do it. In the age of air print and all. I hope there’s a fix. And customer service is horrendous. The hoops to jump through just to talk to a person only to be told at the end that support is unavailable and you should check back in 10 minutes...EVERYTIME!

Simple and easy to use. I have not started yet but I received a text message that was clear to understand and lead me to the website that did not have language on it that only an attorney would understand so I signed up with the most ease of any other website I have used up under this point.
