Fix the login bug already!!!. UPDATE June 2022: So I logged in a few days ago and had nearly 200,000 stardust. Logged in today and it’s down to less than 50,000!?!? WTH, Niantic?! Is our stardust nice expiring after a while or something? Is this some new, stupid feature you’ve added? UPDATE: So thanks to the ongoing login issues, I totally missed out on this month’s community day. I was finally able to login for about 10 minutes... two hours AFTER the event ended. It would be nice if you would do something for those of us who have been cheated out of our bonuses and events due to the problems caused by the recent update. Maybe have a special event or increase the number of items we get at pokestops. Granted that would have to be AFTER YOU FIX THE PROBLEMS. Otherwise it would be pointless. Your troubleshooting guide does nothing to fix the problem. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled seven times in the last week. Your last update totally screwed things up and now I’ve missed out on three days in a row of bonuses because when I do get logged in it kicks me out right when I spin a pokestop! You know it’s a problem, and now I see the obvious FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS that you’re flooding the App Store with to try and bury the negative ones. I’m losing all respect for Niantic because of this. It’s been a week. FIX IT! Admit that there is a problem with the last update and stop trying to tell people to refer to the troubleshooting guide.

Pokémon go plus+. UPDATE: They patched this the following day, thank you niantic! As for the hike in remote raid pass prices, it’s not great. However, the implementation of campfire has been INCREDIBLE. I can’t always rely on friends to join a remote raid, campfire allows me to host a raid with 5 people who are actively looking to join a remote raid. This is an incredible feature and I greatly appreciate the efforts niantic is making for its players. The price hike is questionable, but it does motivate me to seek out gyms in person more often which is the purpose of Pokémon GO! OLD REVIEW: I bough the plus+ and it was working incredibly well, it allowed me to play Pokémon go while I was unable to constantly check my phone. The latest update is a crap shoot- auto throw does not work unless the device is disconnected and auto throw is disabled, then you have to connect the device and once it connects, re-enable auto throw. I get this was to address a bug where people could abuse auto throw to use great and ultra balls, but please fix it so I can use this device the way it was intended. It’s not a huge deal to un toggle and re toggle auto throw, but it does not play nicely with the quick connect feature at the moment. I will update my review if this is addressed.

Amazing but I have suggestions. I love this game but I have some ideas that could make it better 1. Pokechat a way where you can send messages to your Pokémon go friends 2. XXL candies so that way you can level up Pokémon more because I want to get five star raid Pokémon but it’s hard by yourself and it’s not like you are just going to walk up to a stranger and say hey do you play Pokémon go friend me so yeah 3.Poke currencies look if you don’t have a gym nearby or it’s not your color or if it you can see it but it’s in driving distance it is kind of hard to get poke coins so you should be able to sell your excess berries potions poke balls and other miscellaneous items and get poke coins but then there would be another problem overpowered I mean you could make the prices higher but then people who don’t have a lot of items will find it even harder for them to get poke coins so there should be like poke nickels poke dimes and poke quarters and the poke coins is like a dollar and based on the better the item the better the currency ex. razz berry poke nickel great ball poke dime ultra ball poke quarter xl rare candy 5 poke coins and you can add up the lower currencies into a poke coin like the us money system 20 poke nickels 1 poke coin 10 poke dimes 1 poke coin 4 poke quarters 1 poke coin anyways that is all great game just a few suggestions to make it better

Good game but many fixes.. OK so first of all I would like to say is a great game plus there’s many problems with it. My first problem is that you have to pay for everything in the shop instead of earning points but I have played for about three months now and I haven’t a single coin and it is really annoying to have to pay money to be able to get more poke balls and revives. Another problem is that a lot of times when I go to a PokéStop and spin it, it won’t let me collect anything, and will tell me to please try again later even though I already tried but it didn’t give me anything. One of my last two problems is that I hate how you run out of poke balls so quickly because then the only way to get more is to buy with money, or go to a poke stop for only 3 poke balls, which gets really annoying at times. One of my last problems with this game is, I don’t like having battles that all you can do is tap the screen I wish it was like that you could actually choose your move I could use and you can dodge other moves like a real Pokémon battle and I think that would improve the game much better. Just being able to tap the screen taking in every single shot is really annoying. Also the blocks don’t really seem very Pokémon, since in actual Pokémon battles you don’t really have a big screen in front of you blocking so I think it would be better if you guys let us be able to dodge instead of blocking.

Niantic Is predatory. Truly Pokémon GO has been my #1 hoppy since early 2019. I came back to the game after launch, like many people did with the inclusion of raids and PVP making a full fledged game. Since that time Niantic has become more and more predatory with every “season” jacking up the prices of boxes and now the unforgivable sin of DOUBLING remote repaid passes and setting a restriction on the amount used per day. Never mind that there’s entire backlogs of bugs that have never been addressed and with each update new ones are introduced. Niantics vision is wrong and misguided, I understand the idea of community and bonding over a shared experience but as of late, that shared community experience has only been grief and frustration at the management in place completely knee capping the experience for rural players, players with disabilities and honestly fans of the game//paying customers. I love this game so much and it kills me to be uninstalling it due to these practices. I’m a Pokémon fan and have been almost all 26 years of my life, truly I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this game but I can’t keep going on like this just for my love of the franchise while these predatory tactics are so blatant. Believe me it makes me sad to make such a poor review of the game but their mis-management and neglect to critical parts of the game in favor of just making more money has become unbearable.

Great but some issues. Pokémon should evolve naturally. I love this game I have been obsessed with the whole Pokémon series and games but I live more out in the country and there is only 2 poke stops in like a 5 mile radius and there are barely any Pokémon around here. I have seen 2 Pokémon in the last 3 or 4 days and you don’t get that many poke balls from poke stops a lot of times and if you go to a suburb or city you don’t get enough poke balls to catch certain Pokémon. Also it’s annoying how most raids require you to have a friend in the area that play Pokémon go because not many people have this game anymore which they should. My friends don’t play Pokémon go and the people I have as friends usually live in different states or even countries. I also feel like you have to catch way to many Landuras’ in the battle leagues. It’s annoying because he has wasted over 20 great balls and 5 ultra balls. I am annoyed how you have to catch the wild Pokémon for winning 4 or 2 battles but you can’t move on to a different battle set until you catch that Pokémon. One of my bigger problems is that i hate how friends/ people have to be near each other to help in a raid or even trade I think that is the dumbest problem. But other than those few problems the game is fantastic. I love it.

Needs fixes. I enjoy playing daily but the game still needs fixes. The raid system is pretty bad, its very difficult to coordinate with people via remote passes without some kind of in game communication system. Yes there are chats outside of the game you can do but its not fun having to flip back and forth to ensure people are communicating or else a raid pass is wasted. Even in person you still need to back out and rejoin a couple times just so everyone can get in. The battle system is just not fun either and i feel forced to play it due to the massive amount of rewards it offers. I try to enjoy it but it gets frustrating especially with the occasional lag that can lose you games. The gym defender system also needs work as its a difficult way to build up coins. Even if you enter one pokemon in a gym per day its unlikely you will always get your daily 50 coins because the maximum of 50 coins and the possibility of getting kicked out is much too high, or the possibility of never getting kicked out and receiving your coins several days latee, possibly on a day where you were already getting your coins that day anyways. Edited this review years later and the exact same problems still exist. They've been raising prices of items and removed the free weekly pass. The store has been offering poorly valued boxes these days

Spoofers. What can i say about this game that people had not. I watch it when i was a child and now i passed it down to my kids. I used to play legit and then I spoofed. I can’t afford to travel. I don’t battle other people because all my Pokémon’s are buffed out. It wouldn’t be fair to legit players. I knew tons of people that spoof never abuse their power. I do take down gyms but i go to remote area that hardly anyone plays or go to places that nobody knows. Especially i play when people are asleep. They loose tons of players by banning their accounts. That was a dumb move. The people who abuse it is the new legit players converting to become spoofers! All seasoned spoofers know them. It’s funny! They all think we do not know. They ask how to be a spoofer. I would spend tons of money on community events. I buy tickets to people that can’t afford them. I spent hundreds. Niantic lost a lot of good customers (spoofers) that pays a lot of money. Your loss! I was a well known spoofer in social (Twitter) media. I give back to the community all the time. People are always asking me for help and when i should come back. These YouTubers complain too much and made us (spoofers) a scape goats. To my fellow spoofers…Thank you for everything…..Blurrrrrr1

Unplayable. Zero stars.. My game just crashed 12 times in the last hour (I have time-stamped screen shots to prove it). I have an iPhone 6+. No other app I’ve ever used has been like this. This game has been consistently glitchy since it launched 3+ years ago, and there have been times when it was basically unplayable for me. But I’ve been a lifelong pokémon lover, so I didn’t give up back then. I am seriously considering it now. Literally the only thing tying me to this game is Nintendo’s franchise. Niantic is terrible, and if any other company were to put out a pokémon game, I would dump this game in a heartbeat. Even though I love Harry Potter just as much (if not more) than I love pokémon, I can’t actually bring myself to play WizardingWorld because I can barely tolerate ONE Niantic game. Two would be impossible. Niantic needs to completely overhaul its entire programming department, because as it is it seems like they’re incapable of producing a halfway decent game. They might make a bunch of money, but it’s all through gimmicks. If they actually had a game that most other developers would consider worthy of making available to the public, they’d be making billions more than they are now. Update 6/6/20: Still terrible. My game just crashed 3 times in 2 minutes, costing me a raid pass and a lost opportunity to get roughly 1500 stardust. I’m really not sure what the recent server updates are supposed to have done. I see no changes. Still worst app ever.

Go Battle League. The delays and glitches that happen in the battle league are completely unbearable. I play this game a lot and really focus on the PVP side of things. Catching Pokémon that are useful for this, investing TONSSSS of stardust, and useful items such as elite charged TMs. This method is truly the only way to maintain some type of competitive nature against other top battlers out there. No issues with this algorithm, my issue comes in where you do all of this investing and preparing for a battle mode just to get subpar performance. I typically am a high ranked player so of course I go against other high ranking performers. One simple lag, one wrong move against these opponents are all it takes to lose a match even with a lead or switch advantage. Today alone I’ve lagged in 4 battles out of 20 sets and I’m connected to my wifi which is getting full strength and when I disconnect I have 3/4 bars of service. It’s not a service issue it’s a server issue and it’s needs to be addressed. I speak for all PVP battlers when I say I just want more balance games have glitches and I think we all get that, but it happens way to frequently and in a ranked system that your limited in the amount of battles played a day and one lost could be the difference in 3/4 wins which are the prizes most shoot for. You have released notes that this season fixes were to be prioritized but I have yet to see them. Let’s get the consumer taken care of and prioritize this issue!

Remote raid changes were the deal breaker. I’ve been playing with my partner almost every single day since launch in July 2016. The improvements that happened during the pandemic made it so much more enjoyable to play. This also unexpectedly strengthened our connections with friends, especially those who moved out of state. I’ve stayed even with price hikes and niantic walking back some of the improvements. But the more recent changes have been a deal breaker. The bizarrely coupled price hike and cap on remote raids is so offensive on both a personal and community level. I can no longer coordinate remote raids, I don’t have the personal time to stop work at the drop of a hat to raid in person, and it’s unrealistic to expect the numbers needed for in person raids now a days. (Seriously, what pipe dream is Niantic mgmt having here?) More importantly, this has such a drastic impact on players with disabilities and/or who live in rural areas, who are more reliant on the remote raid system. I get the original mission of this game was to get people out and exercising, but missions are meant to grow as the needs of the community change and/or are better identified. This most recent experience has left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I’ve quit the game and I don’t think I can ever return to the game. I’m primarily talking about my experience here to make it clear why I uninstalled my app and support my fellow trainers who want to return.

Raids in general. I love this game, but I’ve been experiencing a lot of lag with the raid passes. For example, there have been multiple time where I spent a way-too-much amount of coins on a remote raid that didn’t even enter my inventory. And that’s not it. On the off chance that I get to use that raid pass, as soon as the raid starts, I get kicked out if I’m not within range, even if I’m using a REMOTE raid pass. I would like to get a refund on the passes that I have lost. Also, please make it easier for us free-to-play gamers that don’t feel like spending $5 to get poke coins. Maybe you can get them by completing research or winning in the GO battle league. If you guys don’t want to make it easier, at least make the raid passes cheaper. Or delete the maximum amount of Pokémon that can be in a gym. Or do SOMETHING to make it easier to get pokecoins for the kids who are broke playing this game. I’ve been saving for at least 3 months only to have 300 or so coins, and the. When I buy something I don’t get to use it. Also, for me, I get no research tasks that give me incubators. I NEED MORE. How am I supposed to hatch eggs? “You can buy incubators blah blah blah. Yeah, I know. For ONE HUNDRED to TWO HUNDRED coins. I feel like I’m more recent years Niantic has gotten more greedy and making things more expensive so that people have to spend money to buy coins. Here is my account info so that you can please maybe refund me for the countless coins I have lost randomly.

Great Game BUT......... This is a wonderful game, great to get people out and moving I definitely recommend it for people who live in populated areas and towns BUT if you live in the rural areas and the country sides of this country where service is spotty and where they placed most all the stops and gyms there is NO SERVICE then playing this game is almost worthless. As a player moving from the city to the country it almost leaves me no choice but to quit or almost forget about the game, sad because I’m a paying player. I read how Niantic was working hard at trying to come up with a resolution for RURAL players but every update and addition to the game benefits populated players. Even trying to contact help support and Niantic is a waste of time, all you will get is a return email where someone will just copy and paste the same answers over and over again, if you cared to do something about this critical issue then maybe taking a moment and conversing with the rural players may help. I hate to have to leave this game but Niantic does not seem to care if they lose their rural players and that is so sad as if you maybe took the time to work with rural players the issue could be resolved, I say to the populated players get out and have an awesome time playing this game and don’t complain about adding a couple bucks to the game it is a lot cheaper then a night out to the movies and a lot more fun with the family! Signed The forgotten rural players!

Won’t finish loading at startup. Please fix ASAP.. I haven’t tried to open this app for months, but am on an iphone 11 and just updated to iOS 14.8. It keeps prompting me to log into my Google account then gets frozen halfway through the startup bar. When I’ve had this issue in the past I had to enable cookies and JavaScript, clear myself website history and cookies and restart my phone. I’ve done that and more…repeatedly, and it keeps getting “stuck” but without an error. And yes, I have all of the other settings required on. Please fix this ASAP. I’ve spend 5 years and literally well over $1,000 on the app and should be able to access it. Now for a quick review beyond this glitch (this part would be 4 1/2 stars). I’m a perpetual weight fluctuater, and since my friend practically forced me to “try” playing one night, I got hooked and it pushed me to lose 30 pounds. It also helped me lose a significant amount of weight two other times, while walking for hours with friends, motivated me to get out when I didn’t want to, and is just a great game. And for the negative reviews about not getting enough free coins, etc…that’s how they make their money. And this app has helped a lot of people in the way it has helped me, so I don’t blame them for wanting, and deserving to make a ton of money off of it.

Buggy app. For the most part you better have good connectivity with your mobile device or you will experience the most frustrating lag at times when you are battling other trainers thru the new go battle league schematic. I have lost tons of battles due to not my skill level but the servers not being able to connect my Pokémon fighting the other trainers Pokémon. There are times where the Pokémon disappears or takes time for the servers to load the Pokémon on the map which delays the time frame of events like community days etc. if you carry an iPhone I don’t think this game will be any fun due to the lag and any other issues that come across over time. Even Samsung has trouble on occasion with the 5g connectivity in certain areas. The antennae’s on the iPhone are awful and are better used for taking pictures and just calls. But for games stuck with a Samsung note or the galaxy series to get a better experience. This game after four years in the making struggles to allow any fun for the user about 60% of the time. Playable only when poke stops are near by and if you are out and about. Absolutely unappealing due to the laggy servers and lousy deals from in app purchases. One star automatically until this issue is fixed which will never happen. There will always be crashes and laggy gameplay for more than half of the time playing. Also make sure you have the unlimited data plan so you can at least load the game.

Pokémon Go is great but a couple things. First of all I want to address the bad reviews left by people who hate the overpricing of remote raid passes and them skipping Galar. Them skipping Galar was for hype, and for more downloads, which I can see where they’re coming from, and they might be developing gigantimaxing, who knows? The remote raid changes were necessary for their game as it was becoming too much of a thing for players to do at home instead of going out and exploring WHICH IS THE POINT OF THE GAME. And if niantic decides to limit their most money making source, then they know what they’re doing. I’ve been playing on/off since 2016, and in the past 2 years I’ve really gotten back into it! The game is great, awesome events, community days, my area has a pretty great and active community! Awesome shinies and they release Pokémon and shiny Pokémon every couple weeks, overall pretty good variety! There is a few glitches though, like some people have lost master balls, and that’s a pretty hard thing for them to experience! And there’s so many go battle league bugs don’t get me started on that I stopped playing a long time ago, but no draws just wins and losses and so many stupid bugs, random losses and invisible Pokémon, not to mention the lag. Not perfect: 🌟4/5🌟 Shorter Version: Don’t get mad at Niantic for their decisions, even if you don’t like them you will get used to it. Great game but many bugs that need to be fixed and addressed. 🌟4/5🌟

One of my favorites, but glitchy and hard to get Pokècoins.. It’s one of my favorites, but it has glitches. It will sometimes say it can’t find any GPS and when there isn’t any GPS, you can’t check out gyms, feed them berries, battle them, add Pokèmon, or get items. You can’t get items from Pokèstops either. You can’t even catch or hatch Pokèmon. It doesn’t show you moving until it’s the No GPS is over. It also will often say “Try again later” when you try to spin a Pokèstop. I usually just spin it constantly until it works though. And also a gym glitch. When your battling in a gym, it might get off of the battle, it says something to, but I don’t remember what. And also a shop glitch. It will often say “something went wrong” when you try to purchase Pokècoins, which means that I can’t buy Pokècoins for Pokèballs when I run out of Pokèballs, and when that happens I don’t play it. Also something that I would like: It’s to hard to get Pokècoins without using money. So maybe you can sell items that are on the shop to get the amount of Pokècoins they are on the shop. That would make Pokècoins easier to get. Because they are to hard to get. You would have to get to a gym AND have it be a gym in your team AND have it ready to have a Pokèmon added to it.

Fun Yet Incredibly Inaccessible. I have played on and off since its release. I love Pokemon, and I love playing this with family and friends. However, it's very inaccessible. I am legally blind, so while I have some vision, I can see very little, and heavily rely on my iPhone's zoom feature. But Pokemon GO doesn't work well with the zoom feature. Basically, if I zoom in to see something, buttons end up pressing, menus get closed, etc. So I can't accurately select Pokemon for a battle, or transfer specific Pokemon, or even adjust my settings. And VoiceOver (which reads text out loud to me) doesn't work either. If I activate it and try to select something for it to read, it's treated like a regular tap. So if I, for example, tap on the name of a Pokemon, instead of VoiceOver reading it, the Pokemon info is actually opened. So while I still enjoy Pokemon GO, I can't get anywhere near as into it as family and friends. I have to select random Pokemon for battles, rely on friends to choose what I'll trade and hope I'm not getting totally cheated, and basically go down the row and transfer Pokemon rather than strategically transferring only certain ones. And I end up totally lost in many of the discussions with family and friends because they're discussing aspects of the game that are inaccessible. I would play it a whole lot more, and would actually recommend it to friends (I don't right now) if it was more accessible.

Great, but still missing some stuff. I played this game on and off since it first came out in 2016. And while I think it’s a solid game, it’s still missing out on some things. There’s still really poor rural and suburban representation in Pokémon go, especially in regards to raids and pokestops. I understand if raids have to take place in towns, but it wouldn’t hurt to have at least some amount of pokestops near communities. I live near a local park and there are zero pokestops there. I understand that there’s an option to create pokestops indirectly through another Niantic game, Ingress, but from my experience that game isn’t properly optimized for newer iPhones, and the base-building system is clunky and tedious. It would make more sense for Pokémon GO players to create new pokestops in gardens and parks, so that they can more easily play the game away from the city or towns. Another minor complaint is the sound. What was the deal with the sudden degrade in sound quality? Was that for saving battery life? Another good thing to add would be to battle other players’ Pokémon directly, instead of going to a raid or a gym and battling their Pokémon there. Niantic still needs to realize that not all of their player base is willing to drive 10 miles to go catch and see Pokémon. If these issues would be fixed this game would be 5 stars.

Not Inclusive for the Disabled. I have a lot of issues with PoGo. Rewards of every kind aren't as good as they used to be. Niantic gets greedier and stingier. Things are more expensive yet less quality. The time to play for community days has been drastically reduced, which makes it hard for anyone who has to work to get a chance to play. But my biggest issue with Niantic is there unfriendly attitude toward those who have limitations. They had made some great changes during COVID. Changes that not only helped everyone keep playing despite the pandemic but that also made the game more inclusive of those who struggle with mobility or are house bound. But over time, Niantic is removing those changes. They insist it's for the good of the game or their vision or other nonsense. But what it really boils down to is making the game very difficult to play for a whole demographic of the world's population. Incense is next to useless now. Remote raids are more expensive (and that really stings at a time of economic recession, which hits the vulnerable even harder) and you are punished for using them by getting less rewards than those who go in person. And other changes. They use all sorts of carefully worded language to try to make it sound like they're thinking of the good or whatever other excuse they use. But the truth is, that despite being made aware of how the changes effect some of our most vulnerable: They. Do. Not. Care.

Decent game, but unless you spend real money you miss out on most things. Even with max friend gifts daily, random free daily store gift you are veryyyyyy limited on what you can do playing this game for free. It is a fun game dont get me wrong but the battle system is very flawed and lazy, you could easily have every pokemon capable of 4 different moves AT ONCE like the Older but better pokemon games. Depending where you live you might not be able to see a poke center or gym or any buildings icons at ALL on your map while home so again certain people constantly have a advantage. Many glitches and modders on the game who can force you out of a battle and count 50 wins against you in 1 battle . Pokemon spawning system should be improved as well, and team rocket ballons are veryyyyy scarce . I hope they keep improving this game but really it just seems like most other phone games where its all about the money and very little actual quality and time put into making a good game, just a okay game that was super rushed and underdevoleped in EVERY aspect, not like any other pokemon game for evolving too? Whats up with getting rid of stones or having a inventory that is SOOoo limited you cant even hold 1 of every pokemon... suppppppper lazy. Please fix, i dony care if a game has to be 50 gigs or more, it should be quality, not rich kids auto advantage and free players play 10 times as long just to keep up.

Used to be great…. So there are a lot of these going around now, but I figure I’ll add to it just in case it can help change anything since it seems like the only thing Niantic hears is press or money. I played the beta. I played day 1. I left and came back a few times. I played during the pandemic. I have seen this game evolve over time. Some changes were good, some were bad. The game went from being able to play for fun, to having a pressure to spend money to play, to being required to spend money to play to get things in the game (like shiny mew??). All of this progressed over time until we get here, a point where the game is unplayable unless you pay money or actively avoid 90% of the features that were added and not removed. This game has gone from one that I would happily put money into due to the enjoyment, connectivity, and socialization I got out of it, but now? Now I don’t plan on playing it until a lot of these issues get fixed. It costs then nothing to keep Covid protections in game. It costs them nothing to allow for remote raiding, especially for remote players. It costs them nothing to make the game better in ways that truly matter and have already been done. Instead, they add stickers. Instead, they remove the ability to get legendaries unless you live in an area with a decently sized player base. Instead, they push people out while trying to claim inclusitivity because it doesn’t match their finances.

Good game but bug filled *updated. Still filled with bugs and customer support is a flat out joke. Mostly automated even when it claims to be a person. They don’t try to fix the issue just send some text to you with some basic fix that fixes most issues. If you have a real issue then good luck with a fix. I have been playing Pokémon since blue and red. I have been playing Pokémon go on and off since launch. The game is obviously fun cause it’s Pokémon in real life. Not a huge fan of the simplified Pokémon of Pokémon go but I am used to it by now. The app is buggy and the developers don’t list all the bugs the community knows they have. That is my biggest issue. And instead of fixing problems they just try and give you a raid pass or some item and say they are working on it. The biggest problem is their customer service. This is my opinion but if you have a concern you get to talk to a bot. There is no customer service department. Niatic makes way too much money not to offer some real customer support. If you are a Pokémon fan or a fan of collecting you will enjoy this game. But you will eventually be so frustrated by the bugs that you will quit. If it wasn’t Pokémon and if it wasn’t integrated with the main games I would have stopped a long time ago. I am only here because it’s Pokémon. Niatic is a smart business and makes a lot of money off of us. The least they could do is listen to the community better and offer true customer service.

Truly Amazing. This Game Is The Best Pokémon Game, I’ve Liked Pokémon For My a entire Life Every Since I Heard About It. I Was SO EXCITED When I Heard Sylveon Was Gonna Be A Thing, But Sadly It Never Came Into The Game 😢Also, The Thing About Eeveeloutions Is, Their Rare. A Little Bit TOO Rare. Eevee Is Way Too Hard To Get For Me And My Siblings 😢It’s Been Like 3 Months And Not 1 Eevee. Eevees Are Common, Right? But Why Aren’t They In Pokémon Go? It Just Dosen’t Make Sense! My Goal Is To Get Every Eeveeloution In The Game And Atleast Try To Get Sylveon, But I Can’t Now! Eevees Are So Darn Rare! I Always See Famous People With Like 50 Eevees Because They Put On Incenses, Lure Models, Spin Pokéstops Etc. But People Who Are Stuck Inside Because Of COVID, They’re Mum Or Dad Won’t Drive Them Around For Gyms And Stuff, Etc. (My Dad Only Does That When We Go Somewhere Which Is Almost Never) Also, Where I Live Only Has One Pokéstop, And Its Like A Yard Away! Not Even When I Use Incenses I Don’t Get An Eevee. Ok This Is A Complaint About Eevees But Really, They Are So Hard To Get 😞. Anyways, I’ve Loved This Game For A While, And I Don’t Think I Can Quit. I’m Waiting For The Eevee Community Day In August And I’m SO EXCITED!! I Might Get A Shiny If I’m Lucky. Anyways I Think Pokémon Is An Amazing Game And Yea. (Please Let This Go Through It Never Does)

Frequent Issues and P2P Pressures. I’ve been playing this for years, and there have been consistent issues with things like the probability of catching a Pokémon frequently not actually improving with the use of berries or excellent cure balls. In fact, it’s more frequent to catch a Pokémon when NOT having an excellent, which is not how it’s advertised. There has been a growing push to get folks to pay to play (P2P), and some of the events, including the most recent PoGo Fest, really haven’t been worth what they’re charging. For $15, I expected way better than a quest line and rewards comparable to the $3 community day events. More transparency on what you get for your money would be fantastic, especially with the quests that offer different rewards for different paths. Overall, the game is fun to play, as long as you’re able to travel to spots where other people are playing and where there are gyms and pokestops. Allowing remote raids has given some opportunity for expanded gameplay, but remote raid passes frequently turn into another thing you need to P2P for. And, well, the ongoing refusal to remove the ban on being able to spin stops while moving (like we used to be able to do while riding the bus) is perpetually disappointing. I plan to continue playing, but it would be nice to see some of the long-standing issues fixed, and to stop feeling like every other weekend is a new money grab.

Perfect pokemons, coins and trading chat. I love this game like way so much to be honest I’ve been addicted, the battles , the raids, the evolves everything feels like being a real Pokémon trainer but ives seen this weak details which I think would make the game better for thousand : 1. The trading distance shouldn’t have a limit and they should give a chat option for when you are trading Pokémon with a friends so you can talk and decide which Pokémon would you like to trade. 2. The poke balls they give you on the shop and items is not too much for the price , even for regular basic reds poke balls they charge you too much , it would help the trainers better options on deal prices for stuff on the shop . 3. The rates and possibilities for hatching or catching a perfect IV Pokémon is way way so low that I’ve been playing for like 2 years and still have not a perfect one and less a shiny perfect thats kinda harder looks almost imposible to the level my friends say they feel they will never have a perfect Iv one . 4. It would be more interesting if there would be new types of gyms for battle with Legendary and mythic that we can put on gyms will slay more than never , also a battle online option for legendaries with friends .

Amazing. This app is an amazing app! It is an amazing way to kill time and a great app to get your exercise in! There are a couple things that I think could be better. I feel there should be a chat space! So you can talk to the people you are friends with to meet up and do raids or battle together. Instead of having to download an app which even then you need to at least know there phone number. I feel you should be able to get more than 50 coins a day. Or at least be able to get a bonus for every continuous day your Pokémon is at a gym. Saying that I know that the prices to buy stuff is set to match the amount of coins able to be received each day. So if needed I feel it would be ok to up the price on coins a little. For trading.... I feel you should be able to choose what your friend gets. Or at least be able to put something in there for them besides a sticker. This also adds onto the fact that we need a chat system between friends to be able to tell what each other needs and or is receiving. I know you have the notifications for what your friend has received but it would still be nice to be able to say “oh thanks for the poke balls dude” or something along the lines of that. Overall this game is amazing! And I get on it several times a day. But I am sure other people have been saying things along the lines of what I have said! I mean none of this is no rude way but I do feel that these things should either be changed or added into the game!

Going Downhill. Had I rated this game 6 months ago I would have easily given it 5 stars. But the game has done nothing but fine downhill since. They continue to raise prices on remote raid passes, which for people who don’t have 5 friends they can easily meet up with, is the only way to road successfully for legendaries. They attempted to add the Campfire App (also a Niantic company) however it only leads to a download link and once you download it, you receive a message that says you have to be invited to the app, talk about useless. There’s no way to contact other players which continues to boggle my mind as this a community centric game, the game would benefit greatly from being able to ay least message friends and nearby players. Also, the region specific events are so demoralizing, if you want to take part in special events and obtain special pokemon, you have to be fortunate enough to live near the selected city, or spend money to go to Vegas? I don’t think so. Living near Baltimore I pretty much anticipate never having an opportunity to take place in such an event. Lastly, the game lives to log me out randomly for no reason. Overall the game is good, runs fairly smoothly and they continue to add more Pokémon, I just wish the prices for raid passes was fair and for more community based events that everyone can participate in.

Rural efficacy. Living so far out of town doesn’t help with the game compatibility, needing to be in those locations, and crushes my love for the play. I can understand the point is to be interactive virtually in the physical spectrum, but as one of countless people who don’t live in the big cities, or in the city at all, the need for a travel less game is more acceptable. As for the game in of itself, the coin prices for items is also high considering gym activity is limited to needing to get near one. That leads to people feeling less involved and tired of playing due to spending real cash on game coins, which could also be solved by changing regulations on the coins themselves. A max cap of fifty coins daily is too low considering the prices for items is almost double or triple. If the cap was per Pokémon, then maybe players could have a chance at surviving the need to ration coins. Leading to another infuriation, the need for incubators, since only one infinite is given to the players it would seem more likely there could be a max of three given at different levels reached. Not being able to hatch the eggs leads to breaking down to save coins for incubators or struggling to reach the walking parameters enough with whatever eggs they can hatch at that time. All in all, the game-play has been smooth but frustrating, considering the possible improvements it has a long way to go before it is truly a masterpiece.

Account Issues. First off, I’m a huge Pokémon fan! Have been all my life. I got super far in my original account but then it wasn’t letting me buy stuff in the shop with my coins I had. So I figured I’d log out and go back in. Now it’s saying my password isn’t correct which I know it is. But then I requested an email to change it. They said it was sent but I never got it. I tried retrying and it said the link is active for 48 hours. Does that mean I’ll get the email within 48 hours or I have 48 hours? I tried using a made up email just to see what would happen and they said there’s no account on there with that email. Just wanted to be sure the email wasn’t a problem. So why is it not allowing me to change my password by sending me an email?? Also I made a second one just for the meantime but on this one it won’t allow me progress with egg hatching and/or buddy Pokémon getting candies. I turned all settings on for allowing my location and all that. My battery saving mode isn’t on either. Aside from that, I can’t add friends. It said that it won’t load and to try again later. All I’m saying is that on my original account, everything was okay. I was even playing earlier this morning. Is there anything that can be done? I can’t even really get the full experience because the events have to do with my buddy getting candies and also hatching eggs. What can be done?? I’m just upset because I put so much time and effort into this all for this to happen...

Similar to real game. I started playing July 2016 but due to all the glitches and lack of Pokémon I stopped playing for a few years. The reason I started up again was because a friend recommended to try it. Now gifts can be exchanged, the Pokémon generations are mostly caught up, and there are a lot more stops and gyms to interact with. My main issue with this game is the lack of interaction with other players. I would like to be able to battle with nearby trainers like the real Pokémon game allows. Also during gym battles, there should be an option to switch Pokémon in between defeats. Those are the rules in a real Pokémon battle and this should be applied to this game. Pokémon should also gain experience after battles to help build them up. I understand the candy concept but those should be bonus experience/cp. I have lost a few great catches due to the glitches/network errors which is very frustrating! Other than that I enjoy catching Pokémon and spinning stops on my walk up to work through the downtown area. It’s a nice way to see the town. EDIT I forgot to mention: I’m not sure why but when I’m on the bus or in any vehicle as a passenger I should be able to spin stops for rewards not “try again later”. It doesn’t make sense to allow me the option to catch Pokémon but I can’t get stops or gain steps with my eggs or buddy.

Pokémon go ideas. Hey! I just wanted to start off by saying I LOVE this game and I recommend it to everyone who likes to travel and needs a family game! Pokémon introduces friends you can make online, a fun way to travel, and to bring back some childhood nostalgia! It has all the Pokémon including newer ones as well as the original! You can battle and do raids to get more Pokémon! But I do have some suggestions so please bare with me… 1. Can you add rest stops or Pokémon hospitals so that way we can heal our Pokémon other than revives? My idea is that when you become a level 34 or 35 they are able to plant a rest stop or hospital. But it takes a hour to heal the Pokémon and you can only have a few at a time. The reason I want this is because when you have no revives and you continue to do raids and battles and you continue to lose Pokémon as well as revives especially for new players you don’t know what to do. So if we do this idea it could make this game even better! 2. Can you also make it so when we leave Pokémon in gyms for more than eight hours can we continue to get coins? Five is fine but the reason I am implying this is because it takes a while to rack up in coins and you can’t use the Pokémon while they are in gyms and you only get 50 coins no matter how long they stay there. So thank you to anyone who read this review! And again please consider this it would mean a lot to me! Thank you, 🥰

This game has come very far. I’ve been playing this game since week 1. There was a month of 2 when I had it deleted because I wasn’t playing it, but when gen 3 was added I came right back. I’ve spent a good hundred dollars on this game, and I really only have 1 complaint in the dinosaur of video game perfection. I just wish Mega Evolution was better. Anyway, the way they have adapted into making play from hone easier is really nice, so people don’t risk getting sick. If you look back at the beginning of the game, you can really tell it’s growth. Research, buddies, friends, trainer battles, Team Rocket, shinies, and even legendaries weren’t even in the game at launch, and now we (almost) have 5 ENTIRE GENERATIONS with a read of gen 6. Research has been a really fun time killer when I’m bored, and the fact that Pokémon constantly spawn make it even nicer and a continuous adventure. Looking back, I feel so dumb taking a break from the game, even if it was only for 2 months. Anyone could get a blast out of it, and it’s a great way to drop a couple of pounds even if you’re only going out once a day! A lot of people got it at the start and quit a few weeks/months. If your one of those people, definitely check this game out again! This game has come so far, and I can’t wait to see how much it grows in the future!

Boycott the remote raid price hike:). I’ve played this game since the second day it came out. It was always a great way that my friends and I would hang out, we’d raid, do community days, etc. For years, in high school and even through college! And Niantic made remote play so easy to do when Covid hit. But it is slowly turning into a pay-to-play game and much less remote-friendly. It feels like every other week they hike up the prices in the shop and nerf the remote aspects of the game. I know the initial purpose of the game was for everybody to get out and play, and it really did build a sense of community, and when we were in school, that was a great thing for us to do after school and on the weekends. Now we work, have moved away, etc, and the only way we can really play together at all is remotely (doing raids, sending gifts). But if you open any gifts, you get 7k eggs you can’t delete (and more than likely do not want) and if you want to raid remotely, you’ll soon have to pay more than $1 per raid and soon there will be a limit on how many you can join per day? RIP anybody who works during an event/can’t get their friends together/ doesn’t live near their pogo community. If you’re a rural player? Don’t bother. And a lot of research tasks and rewards are being put behind paywalls now. Wanna play at home? Too bad, incense doesn’t work if you aren’t moving “fast enough.” This game was my favorite thing for a long time- years- but it’s driving away a lot of people like me.

More gift space/open more gifts. I’ve played this game since it came out and I love it, but with the new Scatterbug feature I have become aware of the issue of gifts. I can open a max of ~30 gifts per day, but I can have a max of 400 friends. So I’m getting tons of gifts every day, and have to pick and choose whose gift I open and whose gift is going to sit in limbo for who knows how long. This was never a problem prior to the event because I hadn’t added that many people. I like opening everyone’s gifts and getting our friendship level up, but I can’t open even half of the gifts I get per day. I know the cap on gift opening is to encourage people to walk instead of sitting at home farming gifts, but if I’m walking 50+ km every week and spinning tons of pokestops anyway then why shouldn’t I be able to open all of my gifts? It’s a small nuisance in the game overall, but it bums me out to not be able to open all the gifts. The cap should be permanently raised to 50 (or higher), because that’s 1/8th of the total friend limit. Also reimplementing the 3 remote raid passes for 250 coin, or even just the 1 free remote raid pass per week would be great. I want to do more remote raids with my international friends, but it’s so expensive to do them now that I’m barely doing any

Overall, the game is amazing sometimes. I’ve been playing the game since late September 2018 and in 2023 the game has gotten a little better but there’s some things to be fixed like the constant freezes when you tap on a Pokémon or try to spin a PokéStop it needs to be fixed there should also be one free remote raid pass when spinning a gym instead of them being so more expensive. Also another major problem. Is when you’re in a car and the you’re going to fast thing pops up and you keep having to click I’m a passenger, It doesn’t pop up twice, But multiple times To where the point it gets really annoying and could potentially mess up your game. Sometimes I have seen where when you put an egg in an incubator and then after walking for a while it glitches it then doesn’t put in your walking distance in so then you have to do it again sometimes it’s really annoying. And also, my brother has been complaining about many other issues and how the game isn’t that good. I think he’s right. The one thing to really fix it is if for 2024 the game should have a major makeover along with many fixes and bugs and make the game more interactive. This major update should last at least until mid 2027 to have mid-cycle refreshing. So make it futuristic too. I love the game to play Sometimes, but just needs a huge makeover. please make this happen. I will play this game until the end of the Pokémon franchise even if it’s bad.

Best game ever. Almost. I love the new trading and friend system, this has been one of my favorite games over the last couple years. But I think that you guys should add a chat system to organize raids better. It could be like a messaging system between friends only so that way there no trouble with stalking or anything negative like that but it would make it easier to organize raid parties without having to download a third party app like WhatsApp which requires you to let everyone know your phone number. Also it would be great to be able to buy great or ultra balls from the shop as well. I walked at a park near me for about 30 miles and caught every Pokémon that appeared. By the end of the walk I only received about 40 ultra balls and 50 great balls which sounds great until you consider that I walked for 9 hours. I received plenty of regular poke balls though(over 250 to be exact). One last note, I live in Miami and there are plenty of places to go play Pokémon go but sometimes I wish I could just walk around my area without having to travel to play. There’s plenty of things that could be pokestops near me but just aren’t. There are 2 churches on my corner that don’t have pokestops. Right across the street there is a building with a cool design that could be a pokestops but I refuse to download ingress just to request pokestops.

Pokémon go is OK. I like Pokémon GO it’s very simple now very hard to use and it takes you out of all of the house and help his people to walk about and explore but the one thing I have problems with is that when I logged on for the first time I was at level one and then also I had a glitch and also I became level six on the red team even though I never chose that team the problem with this Pokémon go is that the team that develop the And the support system there is terrible because when I tell him about my issue they won’t even respond to my problem I was trying to tell him that I did not pick my team and they were saying that we can’t do anything about it once you pick your team there’s nothing that you can do I also try to reset my account with my new email and I didn’t do any good like I had really had issue with the login is your for Pokémon go and the support staff on that game was terrible they need to learn to have some Consideration about their customers if there’s a problem they should take the time and look into issues instead of just sitting on the automated discussions about what we need to know stuff like that the support system was really terrible in my case I mean the game is fine not gonna lie but the support system is terrible though tech-support for their game is terrible I even went to the website and didn’t do anything about it

Mostly good game. I would say overall that the game is fun. However there are some ways tbat I feel would make the game much better. For example when you catch pokemon, I feel like the rare candies should be able to be used on any pokemon like in the original game and not just when you win blank ones. I also feel like some of the challenges are completely crap. For example you get zero credit for the masterball challenge if you lose the raid or the battle. You can literally spend hours and days trying but get zero credit and fail the challenge regardless of the work you put in if you lose. That really is not fair at all to the users. Stardust should be in the shop for purchase and the absolute worst part of the game is when you trade a Pokémon and its stats change. In the original game this does not happen. You can send a 3 star pokemon to your friend and suddenly it become a 1 or even a 0 star. It takes all the fun of trading away when you spend months trying to find 3 stars and then the stats are tossed around if you try to share it. When you win a raid, you also should automatically get the pokemon. It shouldn’t be allowed to run away. If they would fix these issues I would happily change my rating but until then I will have to say that the issues I mention make it hard to want to play sometimes.

Best game ever. This game it has a lot of good parts in it like you can sign and create an account and customize your character and also the thing that makes Pokémon fun. Catching Pokémon you can find a lot of Pokémon that sometimes aren’t in some shows and you can also if there’s a cute Pokémon Pokémon you really think it’s cool you can make them like your friend and you feed him treats so they can explore with you and also every day if you don’t have enough items there’s this free box or a bonus item sometimes that gives you things like free polka balls, or a treat also and you can also put them in gems in front of the Pokémon in gems, and there are things called raids with other Pokémon, which are usually really a bit stronger. Some are weak. Some are strong it has like stars there. Above the Pokémon ray gems, you’ll find them they’re like little red signs and you can also explore and the thing everyone likes to battle the enemy Pokémon team rocket you can you can fight there a little mini boss crunch, and the little medium boss is the leaders and also the man on top of the whole entire game, which I’m not going to say because you’ll have to play the game to know because I’m not being a spoiler but that’s all I have to tell you hope you like the

Frustrating Customer Service. Currently customer service does not provide adequate support. During and shortly after go-fest, I was invited to multiple mobile raids but got flat kicked out after all my Pokémon fainted. I couldn’t get back in. If the timer hadn’t expired and I was able to get back in, it burned a second pass. This glitch cost me at least 6 mobile raid passes which I had purchased with money (not coins from raiding.) I bought more because I wanted to have fun with my friends and not let it ruin my time. Later when I contacted customer service I got reimbursed for 1 pass. One. That’s it. They blamed it on a “visual glitch” saying the pass was still there, but it wasn’t. My inventory never got reset, the passes just disappeared. Even after closing and logging out. They know the system is buggy and people are getting gypped out of things they purchased but don’t seem to care. Everyone I play with experienced the same issues and only half of us have received any sort of refund. Also: (yea I know it’s petty) character customization. There’s lacking color variants for even the basic items, you can’t choose between long or short hair. Every male/female looks the same but with a different skin tone. We’re 4 years into this game and you can have blue, yellow, green, white, purple or 3 different shades of brown hair ... but no RED. (Give me my stupid red hair!!!)

AWESOME!. First off, it’s a GREAT game!! You have so much to do! You have tasks/challenges and you get rewards from them like, poké balls(to catch Pokémon and some are regulars poké balls and some are Great balls and others are Ultra balls), potions to heal your Pokémon after a battle and more cool stuff! My favorite is the Pokémon reward where a Pokémon will appear and it’s usually good that you can catch! You can also Battle your friends and Team Rocket which if you win the battle of Team Rocket you can get one of their Pokémon and it will be a shadow! (Only if you catch it) it also has purple fire/fog around the Pokémon from team Rocket. I love how there is so much to do! Create tags, have a buddy (Mine is Squirtle ofc) and when they walk with you they can collect candy and when you collect enough candy for one Pokémon you can evolve it and make it better! You can also customize your avatar. Every day you could send a gift to your friends (You get them from Poké stops) (don’t worry they can send them too!), and you could also trade your friends and battle them! One thing I dislike (It’s not bad it’s fine) is when the weather is wrong even tho they could be using predictions from weather apps (which aren’t always right) but otherwise it’s…. THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD!!! (Get it!)

Fun game, needs to be polished. Love the game. With the newer updates there’s a lot more to do in a more organized way. Most of the objectives of the game work flawlessly. The inner economy of items and Pokémon’s creates a wonderful system that makes you want to come back and play more. But, there are a lot of issues to still work out. One of which is the coins and gyms system. Right now, you can only get 50 coins per day. And a pokemon earns a single coin per 10 minutes in a gym. You would reach the max limit for coins in about 8 hours. This creates an issue, in which, if you have 4 pokemon in different gyms that have been in there for all over a day. Well over the limit. Meaning you could make 200 coins total, if they get defeated on different days. However, if they are all defeated on a single day then you only receive 50 coins for all 4, missing out on the 150. Currently, there is no work around this issue. You can’t recall your pokemon early, and if one gets stuck in a gym you are sitting there praying for it to be beaten. Another issue is with the combat leagues. When I first started the game with my most powerful pokemon at about 1000cp to try out the feature, the opponents were vastly unbalanced. I had to fight a 3000cp mewtwo on my 4th or so fight. It just seems that some of the features weren’t given enough time as opposed to other features of the game, and that lackluster approach clearly shows.

I love this game, can we make it even better?. This has been a great game since the beginning! Never before have we had a game that encouraged people to get out and meet people in the real world with the same love for Pokémon. The best part is Niantic really does care about their players and listens to the feedback given from their loyal players. The new changes have been great keeping older players such as myself actively playing yet I’ve felt like since the beginning there has been a key element that has been missing. In the original Game Boy games when you tried to catch a Pokémon you had to fight it with one of your own Pokémon and each Pokémon had up to 3 or 4 attacks that you could pick from. Less tapping the screen continuously and more strategizing your next move. I was reading the reviews and I agree that there needs to be a chat with your friend group so you can coordinate raids rather than using facebook chat groups. I honestly don’t struggle with poke balls but more with potions since I battle a lot I am always healing my Pokémon and always have a huge amount of Pokémon I can’t revive due to the low amounts of potions that are more frequently getting distributed as gifts from raids or friends. Also can we make dodging work in battles? It’s an underutilized addition that doesn’t appear to help with battling.

Bad game that cannot stand on its own. Since the release of raids, this game had completely relied on other services and apps to make it playable. It’s been many years and there is still no internal communication system so you can communicate with friends or groups about doing raids. You are somehow expected to just show up to any given raid, and find 5 other players who have also happened to show up at that same time to have enough players to do a raid. The only way to get enough players for a raid is by using external communications such as Facebook groups or discord servers. The Facebook group in the town I’m in eventually died and there was no way to do high tier raids. Then along came the remote raid pass. While this still relies heavily on using external communications to add friends or communicate with existing friends to join their raids, it made raids at least possible again. It disappointed me that apps like poke genie has to be used to join remote raids, when this is something that should definitely be an internal function of the game. After maybe 6 years, they are finally attempting, with these new “campfires” to signal people to raids, but is still a very poor mechanism that requires 5 people to be very close by to all see the fire. Niantic’s own internal communion for raids is still years behind other methods. To make things worse, they are now trying to phase out the remote raids, the only thing making raids useable in an otherwise useless game.

Amazing Game. Pokémon Go is amazing especially for getting your exercise in but there are a few things I’d like to change like with the new Hoenn research I thought I was going to get a Groudon since I’m not high level I thought getting a Groudon would be a HUGE boost for me only for me to complete a few stages of the research only to figure out I had to battle it in a primal raid to get it I was so sad since Groudon is one of my favorite Pokemon we’re not all pros at the game I just recently started so I’m hoping I get lucky and join a primal raid with a bunch of players that will eliminate the primal Groudon for me then I’ll try and catch it. Second change id like in the game is for more places like out in the country to have pokestops because I live in the country and I have no pokestops near me for miles and I only get like 1-2 Pokémon to spawn like every five hours and during a community day still only 1-2 Pokémon spawn but almost always having at least one of whatever Pokémon it is on the community day. Third change I’d like it if there were more ways to get pokecoins other than defending gyms or just buying pokecoins like a loser Mabye there could be a special daily mission thing for you to earn up to about 25-35 pokecoins a day. Otherwise it’s a really good game keep up the great work I hope you take consideration in my ideas especially the Hoenn tour one.

Not gonna lie. I’m not even going to lie, I’m 27 and absolutely love this game. I grew up with Pokémon and this is by far the best Pokémon game. I stopped playing for a year or so because I reached the top level and got bored with it; about 6 months ago my husband convinced me to redownload it because of the numerous new features and two more generations of Pokémon that had been added to the game. Unfortunately as of lately I’ve been having nothing but problems with getting it to load. This is now the third time in a week that I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the game and unfortunately this time it doesn’t appear to even be reinstalling. And yes the app and phone software are all up to date and everything like that. On top of that, on my other phone, if/when the game loads it no longer loads all of the way. It’s genuinely one of the most frustrating things I’ve been dealing with because playing this game keeps me out of trouble and out of my own head. It’s definitely become my biggest hobby and biggest outlet, so when I’m stressed out to the max and it doesn’t want to load - which seems to be every single time I’m excessively stressed lately- it just makes everything worse. I was praying that these last batch of updates they did would have fixed that but I haven’t even been able to get the game to load since it updated! That is literally the only downside to it and unfortunately it’s a major one.

Actually a really good game. See, I started on July 17, 2016 and I’m still playing it. The pvp battles that were added in are an easy way to gat rare items and cool pokemon. There are also five generations of Pokémon in game so there is a lot of variety with Pokémon. The updates during corona make it easier to play without going outside so that makes it a lot more enjoyable to play. And I’m not sure if this helps but the 3D models make good drawing references for me. I’m a long time Pokémon fan and have been playing since 2001. I really don’t understand the critical reviews. I think that this game is simple to understand and good for all ages. You can also get motivated to exercise with this app. The game has good graphics too. My only complaint is that many people are hacking the game. I think that a game that is still receiving updates in 2020 should be harder to hack into. Also there may be daily gift boxes that give you pokeballs but some of us don’t have many Pokestops around their homes so we don’t have much accessibility to pokeballs. Even so, it’s a good overall pokemon game and I would recommend it to many. Thank you for taking your time to read my review by the way. 4 stars for me! But please stop asking for Pokémon that haven’t been added in yet to be added in. Gen 6 along with greninja will be added Later. Thank you again.

Needs a change. Hi so it whoever’s reading this please read it carefully . Number one , so you know about Pokémon candy? And you know about Pokémon trades ? Well it would be great if you could trade any amount of candy as you want. Number two , so you know about Pokémon raid battles? Well it is really hard to catch legendary and mythical Pokémon even my most strongest Pokémon that is to strong for the ultra league can’t even beat a legendary Pokémon . Number three , it would be great if you could add new mega evolved Pokémon like mega Glalie . And you can mega evolve other Pokémon in all like the Nintendo games. Number four, it would be great if you could add Pokémon from all the other generations and Alolan and Galarian Pokémon like Popplio, Rowlet , Litten , Scorbunny , Grookey and Sobble and Sylveon and Dedenne . Number five , so you know about ultra beasts right?? Well it would be great if you could add Pokémon like Nihilego , Poiple and Pheramosa and all the Island gaurdiands like Tapu KoKo , Tapu LeLe , Tapu BuLu and Tapu FiNi. Number six , it would be great if you could give a chance for everyone to catch three of the same Pokémon everyday Because I really wanna get Espeon then Sylveon so more of every Pokémon . Number seven , the Pokémon Ditto is a hard one to catch so add more Dittos. Thank you 🙏🏾 for reading 📖 this and I would Appreciate if you’d use these changes

What are they doing?. The bass game is good. I have enjoyed playing with friends and family for the last several years. However, over the past two years, the team behind the game has put more roadblocks in place to prevent players from enjoying their experience, taking away aspects of the game, the community enjoyed, as well as reverting unintended positives that the entire community was excited to see happen. This now even includes their own peripheral auto catcher that they have put out an sold for 50+ USD. Before release, the community was told that this would be an automatic catcher with the ability to also use Great and Ultraboss, which are normally not accessible to any of the catchers, and must be used by hand in game. Many people purchased this with that understand. However, when this was possible at lunch, Niantic decided to break the system, and not allow their own peripheral to perform its base task of auto catching, using even normal Poke Balls in an attempt to prevent this feature, that so many people had purchased as a result of believing it was the intended focus. Reducing use a Bility of your own game in ways that the player base is excited about is not in the way to continue developing a game into the feature. Especially one that provides so much of the companies total income without this game company would be trash which it is more and more frequently flaunting as it destroys the game that this community has grown to love so much.

Need to stop the go battle league season cycle. I play this game everyday and I love to do go battle league but the downside is that every to weeks it will cycle through great league, ultra league and master league they need to bring back when you could choose any of the 3 leagues at anytime because when it’s cycled to master league me and most people probably don’t have have good enough Pokémon for that league and it gets boring when you keep losing and losing but if they let you chose to do whatever league you want then it will be easier for people to get more rewards eg: you need more fast and charged tms but you have to wait 2 more weeks to be able to have a chance to get 2 or 3 wins but if you are able to do any league you want at anytime you can get rewards in no time.

Bugs and Accesibility flaws. The game is definitely fun but it’s pretty riddled with bugs, to the point where I usually have to restart the game twice or more a day to fix bugs. On top of that the online servers are pretty bad which is not good for a game that mostly revolves around them, although this problem is mainly when using the battle leagues. The other major problem with this game is that raids and gym battles usually require large groups to actually do, groups of at least 5 or so people and it’s pretty difficult to get a group of that size when your starting the game or if you don’t know anyone who plays it which kind of restricts beginners progressing in game. Bottom line is that the game has a really good idea and it’s still fun regardless but there are a lot of issues that need to be resolved.

Absolutely amazing game but. This is my favourite game I have but the problem is it has started to lean towards gbl more then raids and catching Pokémon. Also there are a lack of pokestops in a few areas but other then that the game is fantastic, you can raid with your friends, trade with them and also it can help you Explore the outside world wich is uncommon in games. For example there might be a strong Pokémon at a pokestop showing a path, yeah you will catch or try to catch the Pokémon but you can also go down the track for yourself and explore. But another thing is that the game could do better with awareness for example removing dangerous places like a pokestop at the bottem of a steep mountain that can only be gotten to by climbing down the mountain but honestly it’s up to the “trainers” to be self aware. This game is amazing I definitely recommend it

Awesome but I have problems. I’m an og player from as you would know 2016 and I love the game but I have my fair share of problems for example: charmander is a ton rarer to find than all the other starter Pokémon along with Treeko and snivy, as in I have never seen an snivy or charmander in the wild and have only received a Charmeleon in a rocket raid and charmander from an egg an my starter. I’m also in a raid predicament and don’t know why but in raid battles it shows me knocking the boss out single handedly and then knocks out my whole battle party and a few random Pokémon. And I’d like to add to this with another problem I nearly never receive potions of any variety from Pokéstops and gifts and this is a huge problem putting the fact that doing raids knock out u bunch of my Pokémon for no reason. But is still love the game. Also please add a feature to trade/sell items and a candy trading system

Pokémon, Pokémon ,Pokémon,.... I’ve Loved Pokémon ever since I was 6, I remember thinking why Brock always had his eyes shut and I was always making new theories, and still am! But something I had always wished in my heart was... that Pokémon could be real! I bet most of you wish the same. So before Pokémon Go was released I was bored so I went on to the App Store and Searched up ‘Pokémon’ but just one game which had okay graphics came up (wasn’t Pokémon Go) but... it was for money and I didn’t want to pay money for a game I didn’t even know. One day my friend was on her phone Logging into Pokémon Go, I asked her “What’s that?” She immediately replied “Pokémon Go” then the Game that I had searched up earlier came up In my head, I asked “isn’t that for money?” She shook her head and said that it was for free. I didn’t believe her so I went into the App Store and searched up ‘Pokémon’ again, this time the first result was Pokémon Go! I installed it and found out how fun it was, NOTHING has made Pokémon so real for me like that before, Note: If you want Pokémon to be as real as possible download this app ❤️, if only there were a Pokémon emoji. 💔

MONEY HUNGRY NIANTIC!! 🤬. I only wish I could give them ZERO stars. The way Niantic treat their players/customers is beyond APPALLING!! They don’t mind taking our money but when it comes to the HEALTH & SAFETY of their players they couldn’t care less. We are in a Global Pandemic with a deadly virus and they want us gathered in groups, with people we don’t know, catching goodness knows what illness from them to play a game!! In 2020 they altered the game due to the Pandemic and for our health and safety but they have now removed that feature making the game impossible now to play for some people. We are still in this Global Pandemic with the Delta strain now, which is more deadly than the original strain. The USA are getting 100K++ new cases every day, countries are going in & out of Lockdown, and NOW is when Niantic decide to remove the features that allowed us to play at a SAFE distance from people we don’t know. I can tell you right now I won’t be spending any more of my money in this game!! I think we should all hit Niantic where it hurts. No more $$ from us until they make Pokémon Go SAFE TO PLAY AGAIN!!

good concept, poor execution. don’t expect much. The two biggest problems in my opinion are: 1) Stability The app crashes constantly. This has been an issue for a very long time, and I honestly don’t see it being fixed any time soon. I can’t complete some of the in-game tasks such as using the buddy system because the app crashes. This is especially an issue in battles, which leads me to... 2) Gyms I love the idea of them, but gyms just aren’t fun. They cause the app to crash, there is no benefit to populating multiple gyms due to the coins limit, and trying to keep control of a gym for your team for more than a day is disincentivized. It’s an aspect of gameplay I’d like to engage with more, but can’t get much out of. There are some features I like though: 1) The variety of Pokémon spawning is good in my experience, with common spawns cycling frequently enough to not get tedious. Rare spawns are at a good rate to be both interesting and valuable. 2) Item drops seem balanced to me, if perhaps a little low on potions and a little too heavy on berries. 3) Team rocket balloons. I wouldn’t spend much time battling them at stops since I don’t want to stop walking in the middle of the street, but the battle balloons make these battles fun (when they don’t crash the game...)

A bit of feedback. In the next update, you should include data when capturing Pokémon or when you site the Pokémon what their strengths and weaknesses are in the Pokédex ie if there weakest against ice and water attacks, and have each Pokémon have a different weakness and strength so that the trainers have it handy when they want to find the info. You should also include an area of data in which a trainer can go to in the Pokédex where they can study up on which Pokémon is best to fight against which ever Pokémon is around “either trainer battles, grunt battles, or raid battles) rather then waiting for the hint guy to pop up at the end of the fight after loosing the battle. It would make the game more enjoyable, help those who don’t actually know what there doing play, and not have to leave the game to look up the information online either.

Great game but…. I love this game and I play it a lot but there are some things that I believe can be made better. First of all, when I am a passenger on public transport, it won’t allow me to interact with poke stops. I think that if you changed it so that you can interact at higher speeds, it would make the game better. Secondly, I have many Pokémon and I love how many there are, but I have not gotten a shiny in a couple of months. One of my friends who also plays the game gets a shiny every third or fourth day, and I think it is unfair how he gets lots of shinies and I get very few. I check most of the Pokémon I see and I would really like a couple more shinies. Thank you.

Pokémon go during covid. The game has not handled it well. Many of us are in strict lockdown. Some can only leave the house once a day for a short walk a most. Yet raids are locked behind remote raid passes you have to pay for. Then there’s research and events which REQUIRE you to raid.... With no one able to leave their homes, you have to keep spending money on Remote raid passes which gets expensive. Especially for those who have lost their jobs. Very disappointed with how Niantic have handled this pandemic... not sure how long I’ll keep playing for if more support for the players isn't added.... it’s just seems greedy and disrespectful towards the players during the current state of the world....

Great game but.... I love this game. I play it with my friends and we walk around battling and collecting items, it’s awesome. BUT recently what’s bugged me are the hackers. People hack so that they don’t have to walk anywhere which means that they don’t have to work as hard but they still progress through the game faster than all the legitimate players. There was one case where my friend and I ran to a gym and ran back to the car so his mum could hurry to work and as soon as we got back. Our Pokémon were kicked out of the gym. Then we looked over to where we ran from and there was nobody there. It was a waste of potions. That’s a good example of hackers being frustrating. Please find a way to stop hackers. Other then them, the game’s awesome (apart from a few minor bugs.)

Profile quick change option. My children (4,6) and I absolutely love this app. It is interactive, fun, endless opportunities of gameplay. My son only likes to play at home with his buddy and catch the odd Pokémon whereas my daughter loves to take a walk to the local park to battle gyms. My only suggestion to improve this app is to have a quick profile change option, or a family profile (sort of like Nintendo does with a guardian account plus children all under one contact email and I just click their logos to swap) so I don’t have to type in each child, and then myself if we are all playing and want to drop off Pokémon/visit poke stops. 9/10 times I will forget their logins and passwords to swap and change through accounts when on one device. Thanks for making a great app!

Trapped. Hello! How has your day been, whoever is reading this? So, Pocket Monsters G.O was built for walking around the Earth, right? Well, that’s what makes Quarantines the worst possible situation for any player. You can still hatch Eggs, but A slow rocking in your chair won’t do much. Another pet peve I have is that if you are of the age where your parents don’t let you leave the house on your own (Thanks, Mum and Dad, for caring about my safety!), then getting Pokecoins and spinning stops is impossible. A little nugget of information: You can only earn Pokecoins by selecting A Pocket Monster to defend A gym. Something that is not possible when you can’t get close (Unless A certain miracle happens where A satellite misreads your device’s location and gets your Avatar right next to A Gym.). The problem with this game is that it was made for A specific group of people, and doesn’t really allow for AtHome Gameplay. But, hey, that’s not A reason to not install this game! If you find A Friend online, then you can get Gifts from them, each day! Just don’t play the game if you are restricted to your home, wherever that may be. Have A good day, reader! Oh, and one more thing: I hope there’ll be a sell items option in the future that gives A varying amount of Pokecoins depending on the item sold, and how many items sold. Seeing as A lot of items are just 100 Pokecoins, maybe make it 0.1 Pokecoins per Pokeball, or something. Toodles!

Great game!. Good job on making such a great game Niantic! 😇 My favourite part is probably the GBL (GO battle league), as it is an easy stardust gain and also really good to pass your time when there is no Pokémon. The only problem with the GBL is how you’re only allowed 5 sets a day. This isn’t that much of a bother but it would help remote players. Other than that it’s fine. Raid battles are also fun and useful, as it’s the only way apart from the GBL to get legendary pokémon. I love how you can invite friends from around the world and beat bosses together, but please allow players to invite more than 10 players to raid. Raids have proved very helpful for me and gave me a big boost for my Pokémon CP’s. The only other problem I had with the game is that you need to be a high level to nominate pokestops, so if you lowered the level to only 30 or so, it would make playing in a remote area a whole lot easier. The research tasks are also fun to complete and give you good rewards, and also give you strong Pokémon from the research breakthroughs and thankfully, they added a free rrp with it too. Thanks for making a great game, TNTCAK3

Pokémon Veteran Approved. As a life long Pokémon fan who has enjoyed the franchise since the days of red and blue, and who has played every main series game and many of the spin off titles, I can firmly say that I thoroughly enjoy Pokémon Go and believe it holds it's own in a franchise filled with wonderful titles. Don't believe any of the "Pokémon go is for casuals" nonsense whined by some veteran players. The game is unique, dynamic and social and encourages exploration, cooperation and fosters a true sense of community. There are still some problems (bugs, balancing issues for rural players, and slow roll out of requested features) but overall Pokémon go is a positive experience and a game I can see myself being heavily involved with for many years to come.

Great! But I keep crashing :’). Hello Niantic, long time player since launch! I very much have enjoyed the game since then, and has been playable until recently. At the moment, unfortunately the game would consistently freeze and crash, causing me to reboot the game multiple times in a span of 5 minutes. The cause of the freeze/crash would be doing menial tasks like pressing on a gym, or feeding my Pokémon berries and such. I haven’t been able to play the game fluidly which has decreased my play time. I’ve checked to see if I was short on storage, or if I needed to update to the latest patch. It seems like I have sufficient storage, and am updated, so I have no clue what is causing these freezes. I hope it can be fixed so that I can go back to literally catching Pokémon, since upon impact of the ball to the Pokémon it freezes too 🙃 thanks for looking into this!

Update issues. Hi I’ve always loved playing Pokémon go and I still do I’m giving a 5 star because I think it’s a great app to get your self out of the house while playing a great game you can enjoy the only problem I’ve had since the current May update for the game is that I could be playing Pokémon go and all of a sudden it just exits the hole entire app and then I have to reload back into the game I’ve tried restarting the app and reloading back into the game numerous times but I find I still have the same problem as before but other then that I still love the game and give it a 5 star review I’m just hoping that the problem gets fix in the next update in the future Thanks again Daniel

Almost a complete game but raids need improvement. Raids are an amazing idea and without them I don’t think I would play the game. However, the areas that I play in are pretty inactive. There are 3 5 star raids on at a time often and my group of 4 people needs more to help us with 5 star raids. I think there needs to be a feature called rallying to a gym. If someone presses a button on a gym it sends a message to trainers in a radius of that gym saying “Player1234 is ready to raid the Example Gym” kind of like the messages for lures. This would help people know which gym to go to and they would be able to actually defeat hard raids. I think this would make the game a lot more accessible for people who don’t live in crowded urban areas and expand the player base.

Love the game, not the bugs.. I absolutely love this game and really appreciate the developers putting in all the hard work to make the game more accommodating during self-isolation. Unfortunately there seems to be a couple of bugs that are quite annoying. The first is my friends list automatically scrolls back up after sending someone a gift. You have to keep manually scrolling down after closing each friend to get to the next one. The other bug I’m running into is when I open a mystery box alongside incense, rather than tell me I can’t run both at the same time it just opens another incense and stacks the time on top of what was already remaining from the initial incense. Finally, I’m not keen on the proposed lower rate of coins earned per minute at the gym. You end up having to take over 3 gyms to earn coins at the same rate currently. Not exactly conducive to self isolating if you have to go to additional gyms. I hope this just isn’t a potential money grab by the developers to have people buy more coins than rather earn them in these difficult times.

I’m a 13 year old that thinks this game is awesome. I didn’t know what a Pokémon was until I heard a friend talk about this game so I got the game and I’ve been a Pokémon trainer ever sense the game is awesome but a trading and friend system is needed so you talk to friend in your contacts and trade Pokémon with friends to complete the Pokédex also at the start of the game you should be able to choose all the starters from gen 1, gen 2, gen 3 and so on and more ways to get pokecoins would be amazing thank you and keep up the good work niantic P.S legendarys are really hard to battle and I missed my favorite legend already mewtwo and I want to catch rayquaza so please could you guys make it a bit easier so I catch my first legendary

Introduce trading? But can’t trade items?. As much as I love this game and want to love it more I can’t seem to. This is the only app I would spend money on and yet with every update you fall short every time. Why can’t you trade or sell items that you have excess of? Why can you only trade Pokémon? If you are introducing Pokecentres, that’s good and all but what’s the point of me having 3 dragon scales after I’ve evolved my Seadra? There isn’t much. What’s the point of my girlfriend having 4 Kings Rock after she’s evolved Slowbro and Poliwhirl? Not a lot really. Waste of a reward system for 7 day streaks and just seems like the system isn’t as well thought out as it could be. I get that it’s hard to make a game as good as this but you guys fall short every time. It’s just lucky that the Pokémon Community is as big and loving as it is. And what sort of company doesn’t have an email where you can’t have some sort of free form text where you can actually explain a personal issue with the game. Your consumers have a right to voice there opinion to listen and it’s your job to listen. You say you are very supportive of the community but it feels like you guys don’t care about us and limit what we can tell you so you can hear what you want to hear.

Im back again!. I started playing when it first came out. And I loved it. As an avid fan of Pokemon I was so excited about this game.. I was one of those people who used to drive around and stop by places just to catch pokemon. I experienced running within a crowd of people trying to catch some rare pokemons out in the street. But then I suddenly lost interest probably after 6 months as it became repetitive. The game became boring. I think people lost interest because the updates and the release of new gen pokemons took forever to happen. But then when I found out that they released gen 2 pokemons my interest came back and up until now i am still playing. All my friends lost interest but im back! I hope that the makers of the game will be able to release gen 3 and 4 soon..

It’s really good but. It says like I’ve made my character and everything and then it says are you done with finishing your character so I like yes but then it just says location not found so open up settings so I open up the settings and I turn location on so then I go back into Pokémon GO and then just says that the location can’t be found and I’m like yes I put everything on your Settings and allowed it but its not working so what should I do because I don’t know how to get into the game it’s just really hard because I keep on allowing it for my location but it was like you know haven’t found location and everything but I deleted the app well the first time I got on it arm it said do you want the location to be found and I was like no but then I realise that I had to so I deleted the app and got back in but then it like I made my account and everything is on Google and everything but I went back in and it said that the location was around and open it up and told you all of that but it just doesn’t work and says the location hasn’t been found so please help me with the app 🙁🙁😞😞😞

Changed for the better. Highly recommend redownloading if you haven’t played since it came out. The game has drastically improved with features such as trading, friendships, 4 generations of Pokémon, raiding, dedicated days for the community where you can find an increased number of a certain Pokémon and even find their shiny form, with past days being tyranitar and metagross, research, a kind of story that you gain mythical Pokémon from, legendary Pokémon, and much more. The game now is what everyone wanted the game to be at release, with consistent updates and stuff to do in game wether it be raiding or shiny hunting. I’ve met a lot of good people from the game and the community near me has close to 3,000 people in it. Get your friends back together guys, it’s good now.

This is epic but.... Hi, this is one of and even yet the best game I’ve played I love and everything about it. The feeling of waking up every morning and going out to play this, and the thought of you still getting exercise it’s amazing. The reason I put a but in the title is cause I have a idea that might make the game better. Ima not be a Karen and complain about the game, I just thought maybe if they added a permanent change on the music. What I mean is still keep the old music but add like a radio and add more song, that are not copy right what I mean is u could be able to play the night music during the day. Or the battle music during normal time. And it could cost like 80 poke coins. That would be a cool idea right?

Raid passes?. The game is great and all, but there aren’t any cheap raid passes anymore. I can’t do raids with my friends because of you! I know it’s probably about the profit and all that, but you gotta make the game still enjoyable. How? With cheap raid passes, I can play with my friends. But to you, I’m assuming it’s all about the $$$. Say no, but if you do care about us players, change the raid passes to cheap ones! Remember the $1 rewards to purchase with poke coins? They had a raid pass in them! Now I can’t get any raid passes without spending money? Wow. Like I said, the game is cool, but you can’t just make it all about the money, put yourself in my shoes - the players’ shoes. Spending money on a game isn’t that ethical. You might just say it’s only 99c, but the amount of raid passes everyone wants, is a steal. Make it fair. For all of the Pokémon go players.

Playing Pokémon. Hello. Wow what an amazing game Pokemon go is. I have been able to get out and see some new places and make a lot of new friends. Walking around parks playing Pokémon has helped with my siatica nerv ( not sure if I spelled that right lol ) even getting my 63 year old Mum out playing to. I was just wondering how does the trainer club work. I use the same email for both Pokémon go and the trainer club. Is it allowed to be signed into one on my phone and the other on my tablet or is that a type of cheating. I don’t won’t to cause a issue that gets me band. Any information as how it work/ or best way to play both would be great 👍 thanks again for an amazing game and look forward to new events and new Pokémon

Catch em all? As if... Far too difficult to catch higher ranking Pokémon unless you know at least a dozen other players. Raids above level 3 are un-soloable so if you mostly play on your own or even with one other trainer then forget about ever getting the better Pokémon. Eggs hatched give you basic Pokémon. Why? Give a chance to hatch rare ones please! 10km eggs are as rare as Mew in this game. Takes forever to rank up Pokémon to any useful level. Played since the start. The game needs easier access to stardust and sinnoh stones. Once you collect over 250 candy for a Pokémon you should be able to trade excess candy above that for stardust. I’d suggest one candy for 1000 stardust. This would give you more incentive to keep catching the useless Pokémon that are the majority. Sinnoh stones are far too hard to acquire for all the Pokémon that need it to evolve. It’s ridiculous. Once you catch a certain amount of one Pokémon they should then be very, very easy to catch. Like 1 ball catch every time. Game is currently 9 parts frustration to 1 part rewarding in my opinion.

I love it but more features please. I love the game but the hair styles we don’t have any plats, buns, out hair, short hair for girls long hair for boys the selection it terrible with the hair. I love the new buddy feature and their adorable but I’d love some more features to play with them and have a button to tech them tricks like a pet. And I hope we can maybe get another team like a team rocket so the have to try and take over stops and they have to battle good Pokémon and turn them dark and gyms they try to take over the gyms and their colour purple or black and they can still catch Pokémon but they will go dark. Other than that I’m obsessed with Pokémon go I love the Pokémon everything about it! 🤩

Not so friendly for spontaneous use when on the GO. I haven’t used Pokémon GO since 2016. Any time I was actually on the go away from home WiFi it was forcing me to update and I wasn’t prepared to dedicate mobile data for that not to mention the time required to update the app. App developers need to keep in mind that user experience matters if they want end users to continue using the app and potentially putting money into it either directly or indirectly. Since then the app has added heaps of new content which is fine but BEFORE that happened I dropped out of using the app because the constant need to update meant I always had to plan to use it ahead of time rather than use it spontaneously and I find that antithetical to how it should be. If I have to be constantly updating the app at home just in case I might wanna use it while on the go then you’ve lost me.

Don’t bother if you live remote or disabled. Niantic doesn’t care about it’s users.. Seriously don’t get into this app. They will only let you down. Fan base likes the inclusivity and ease of remote raids? Make them more expensive and stop selling one a week for 1 coin. Fans like the incense so they’re able to catch Pokémon when they’re unable to walk/move/go out at that time? Makes incense only effective when you’re walking. Seriously it makes no sense. I use to use incense all the time during work breaks or when it’s raining and now I have no use for them because if I’m on a walk, there are Pokémon around and there’s no need. If you live remotely don’t even bother. Incense use to help a little with that but now you just sit staring at your screen for 5-10 min for ONE Pokémon. When will Niantic learn that making your customers happy will actually make you more money. When will niantic learn that if they want their fan base to act differently or do something new to INCENTIVIZE instead of punish.

NOT INPRESSED. I have been playing Pokémon since it first came out but now I have some problems with it, regarding the regions I have finish the , KANTO REGION but the rest when you think your getting the Pokémon they stop coming and you catch them same Pokémon every here in AUSTRALIA these are the Pokémon that are always , always around, skwovet, golbat, rattata, Lickitung, grambull, Pidgey, Taillow, swallow, starkly, pidove, service, skiploom, nothing changes I have friends all over the world and they have better Pokémon then we do here in Australia. So when will that change, then I have put in request for a poke stop around me because we have elderly man and women who also love the game and they are unable to leave there house because they can’t walk or there to scared to leave there house because of COVID so please help them too, as I said we may love the game but come on the makers of this game need to start doing the right thing for all plays of all ages

Why I like it and why I don’t and suggestions. So I like It because it’s fun and active but I don’t like it because for me it loads very slow I suggest maybe you can make it so there’s an option if you want a poke stop in your house so if you have a cold you can just go to where the poke stop is in your house and it will be easier do and can there be settings and if they say yes they want a poke stop in there house than you can put it anywhere you want in there house it’ll be in settings incase they change there mind but if they say no than it will not happen and it will be in settings incase they change there mind but anyway i LOVE POKÉMON GO! it’s awesome this is a add on for you it will only be visible to the people who live in that house

Love the game want more features like the Pokémon games. I have been a fan of Pokémon for ages and when Pokémon go came out I was extremely excited I played it all the time but there were a few features that should be put in like a breeding centre were you can put Pokémon in and receive certain egg types which would make things easier also they should add feature were you can allocate a home and drop some Pokémon there so you don’t have to transfer use poke coins or have no room and an area we’re you can see other players that are commonly there so you can become friends trade and battle. From a large Pokémon supporter please add these features in.

Features Inaccessible, Unsafe or Only Available to Level 45+. The major issue with the game are the parts inaccessible to those below level 45 and who are playing without a bunch of friends they can meet up with for the 3 plus Raids to get top battle ‘Mon and gym take downs/then holding it long enough to earn coin. And living post in this post Covid world 1. Accessibility without close contact with others should be essential. No one past high school is running about in a group and for many of us it’s just not safe. The remote raid fix for this is a farce - you’re limited to line of site gyms, can’t send an invite to others to join you in the raid or gym take down and your mon do way less damage. Ive never been joined by others through the games mechanism. Plus I’m level 30 and still don’t have a wide enough variety of mon to be very successful PvP. Now they’ve taken away the 1500CP and less PvP to replace it with only mon caught this season Niantic is clearly trying to punish those who don’t have high CP Pokémon and it’s pointless doing much more than swinging discs and catching everything you see if you’re under level 40. Which REALLY slows down level gaining kinda locking you in catch 22. Not beginner or middle friendly at all. Some lower level leagues need introducing and Niantic needs to concede to the need for increased remote features for Raids and Gyms.m

Fix the buddy feature ASAP. I reopened the game after almost 4 years and almost forgot how to play it. There’s quite a lot of different menu’s, and it’s taken quite some time to relearn it’s complexity. I do enjoy the buddy features, though I struggle to be able to place the buddy in a room to gain stars for playing and feeding the buddy candy - the main reason I’ve detracted a single star. Even in a well lit room or space, the game struggles to identify places and is a waste of time opening during the evening when I’ve finished my shift work. I’ve also asked a question in the game regarding the ability to place your buddy on your characters shoulder (reflecting Misty and others in the cartoon TV series) however I received no reply. I don’t like the aspects of the game where spending money is required either.

good but the bugs :((. this game is by far one of my favourites, i grew up with pokémon so being able to play on phone is really neat when out and about. it IS really nice and has improved so much since it was released but guys, come on, fix your bugs! the first worldwide GO Fest was an absolute sham, i haven’t met anyone who wasn’t disappointed. please update your servers, the fact that people couldn’t play due to the app freezing, lag and being forced shut is really terrible considering people had to pay to play yknow. remote passes have so many bugs too, please fix being kicked from raids & being unable to rejoin. it’s very frustrating and gives a sour taste towards the game. i appreciate the frequent updates but stop adding more fire to the issues than fixing them

Great, but requires some fixes. I’ve been playing for roughly 6 months now. My experience has been great, but there have been a few issues that have bugging me. 1) The speed limit is too low. Sometimes when I go on a jog the speed limit randomly pops up. I’ve asked others on reddit who also had this problem when they clearly haven’t passed 10km/h. 2) It’s too hard to get potions. With the addition of team rocket balloons, I’ve been in a lot more battles then usual. And as such, I used up all my potions. I live in a suburban area, but there aren’t any pokestops around me for a good distance. I’m about run out of revives and potions after fighting the team rocket leaders. There should be a new system where it’s easier to get potions, or that potions are rewards for field research quests. 3) There should be hairstyles and face shapes. This is purely for cosmetics, but there should be hairstyles and more customizations for face shape. This is as all trainers look basically the same. And if you ever do add these, I hope they aren’t behind a paywall. I understand you need to make money, but I don’t want to pay $10 for a different hairstyle.

Bearable when it works. Great intention behind this game when it first launched. Since then its became a constant grab for money with time not being devoted to bug testing. The game crashes, has many graphical glitches and other annoyances, which take the fun from the game. PvP was a great idea however it has broke the game in it’s entirety. There is to many cheaters and/or other bad mannered folk, to play the game as it was intended. I respect the free to play model as much as the next person however, there is definitely fairer and better ways of implementing this kinda model without turning it into a grab for money. Events can at times be worthwhile, however these are more targeted towards the newer players, and are rarely rewarding for those who have reached lvl 30 and beyond. The recent experience with this game has not given me any reason to believe the game can be played for enjoyment.

It s very addicting but needs more improvements!. This game is fun and it is good exercise, although it is extremely frustrating to try find a Shiny Pokémon. They need to add more Pokémon to raids for example: Mega Lucario, and Gardivoir. I feel like I sometimes waste money on PokéCoins because I buy one raid pass for 100 PokéCoins, and i lose to a raid. I think they should give us 1 - 2 Raidpasses, per day. And I do t understand why you have to buy pokéballs just to catch Pokémon, you could just go to a PokéStop and get PokéBalls. Every time you discover a new Pokémon, you should get 12,000 Xp. If your Pokémon has been defeated, they should heal automatically. I love Pokémon go but that’s all I had to say. Have a good day!

Needs more for long term players. Good and bad. People look forward to such good rewards and you give us “mewtwo” after all the hard work we went through to do ex raid battles. Back in the day when it was so hard to find a chansey, they’re just spawning everywhere. There is no challenge because we know what to expect. Make it more interesting and unpredictable because I know it’s not just me who is sick of all your rewards. 7 day pokestop rewards too. How about rare candy and not “upgrades”. Kudos on community days but what, aren’t you ever going to now have one for a swanky because they’re already out as a shiny?? Or growlithe? Or magicarp? I’m not even going to bother getting deoxys because yep, sure, there WILL be a way somehow. For people who started in 2016, what good are events like the frequent spawn of the manor region, other than few extra candies to add to my collection. Overall it’s fun, but people want more.

Some areas been having trouble with Newtown park. Hi there, There’s two zones at Newtown Rose Garden park where myself and my partner could not get the prizes for Roses Artwork Seat. The other one is the West Toowoomba Croquet Club. It keeps telling us both to walk closer to interact with this pokestop. We’ve been extremely close and under the sign for the West Toowoomba Croquet Club. The Roses Artwork Seat we have sat on it to try to get it to work and that one tells us to walk closer to interact with this pokestop. It could of been the graffiti on the Roses Artwork Seat. The West Toowoomba Croquet Club sign could be because there was no shrubs on the ground underneath the mailbox. Otherwise we haven’t had any problems with it so far. Since we joined the Pokémon GO. We are enjoying it so far. But if you could check this out please and have it fix for us and everyone else who plays it. Please and thank you. We will let you know in future if there are anymore that aren’t working. Thank you for your time and helping us to try and get this fix and other players who play the game. MAYBE DO UPDATES ON THE POKESTOP TOO MAKE SURE ALL POKESTOPS ARE ALL WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to start fixing all your stupid faults. We were in COVID lockdown Nothing open except supermarkets 1 person could leave the house for a short time to go to food shop We get moving again and your errors make me want to quit today I tried to raid and everything jammed the nothing to poke stops or Pokémon. When the stops cam back all I got was error every time I tried I was just at the best spot of my run Yesterday it happened slight different at the best part of my run I really am ready to quit. Fix some of your problens Tonight I opened my RedRedRose And she is not there. Replaced by a green haired male. With the wrong buddy. I don’t know if you read these BUT I want my RedRedRose back 8 December 2020 I sign in this morning and no RedRedRose, Just this green haired stranger. I want my RedRedRose back PLEASE 8 dec 2020 I have been trying to get my account to the level 41 for quite awhile. You have so many gliches and errors it is almost impossible to play the game. At my age I don’t need the frustration. Why don’t you try to get the game working properly before you add anything else new.. you certainly can’t handle what you are supposed to be running at the moment Marilyn Guse Sorry to be so miserable but I like the game and I hate to see it fail so badly

Please edit the app in the next update. Great, but I think you shouldn’t have to look for a flat surface just so your buddy can join your adventure. My next complaint is that they don’t give you starter coins so new players such as myself cannot buy anything. Not only that, but it doesn’t tell you how to get coins. Don’t you have to earn them or do you have to get those gift things (not the potion-shaped ones) or do you have to pay for them? Please answer! My last complaint is that you shouldn’t have to get/earn pokeballs! It should be just like in the show where trainers seem to just have an endless supply. Please consider making the suggested changes to the game.

Nice funny game. I love it but it won’t be much longer than it does it is so much better to see it now and it just makes it so funny and it’s kinda annoying when I play with my cousins and my friends are friends and I’m not sure why they don’t want me out of my bed anymore and I’m not sure what to say to my dad lol I just got a text message and I’m sorry I’m just not going out with you lol I just woke him I don’t want him I just want him and he can do that and he is just going out with him lol I love him so I don’t want him in my life lol lol I’m so tired and I’m sad I don’t want him in bed and I’m crying so I can’t do it anymore I’m not going out with my friends lol I’m sorry I’m just kidding I’m not going out with you guys I’m not going out to my dads lol I just want you guys want me home and

Solid 5 stars from me! However.... Overall, coming from a Pokémon geek like me, I love how diverse the game is and how it encourages players young and old to get out and active! The new buddy system is also a good addition to the game just to add a tidbit of salt into the game. The however part of this are the raids. The good news is that with more recent legendaries being added into the game, it lets us all the chance to catch some Pokémon that may never come back. The thing is that all players should be able to enter raids even while they are walking (or using transport to get into the raid) a fair distance. As a hardcore PoGo player, I want a feature to be added where players can do a raid even though they are walking/being the passenger away from the raid. That way, we all have the opportunity to catch the raid Pokémon. Other than that, good job on making PoGo an entertaining and very fun game to play!

Frequently Connection problem on the Battle System. I love Pokémon Go and the new battle system is everything that we players expected since the beginning. It made the game finally reach a level that us, Pokémon fans, were wanting so much, making the game more than just a collection system but also a competitive game, so I’m thankful to Niantic for that. On the other hand the new battle system still has a lot of connection problems, and it’s not duel to the internet, which results in lost of the battle even that sometimes Is not able to join it, so it’s been hard to appreciate the battle system so far, hopefully once you guys correct those problems will make the game more enjoyable. Please fix it as soon as you guys can, cause I can’t wait to enjoy the battles :) .

Disappointing, all about the $$$ and discrimination. As a disabled person who also lives in a very remote area the recent changes to your game are so incredibly disappointing. I’ve played from day one, however I had to stop playing a few years ago as living so remotely made it impossible to join raids or even send gifts as there’s no pokestops or gyms. I am not an able bodied person and even if I was it’s a 12km walk to the closet gym. Since the remote raids have been available I’ve be able to join and build friendships within the game, now you’ve taken them out of the $1 box and bumped the price of the 3 passes in the shop. You’ve also disabled the incense to walking only, which I am unable to do, you’ve taken away my ability to feel included in community days. This is NOT an inclusive environment anymore, your biases for able bodied people and people living in the city is absolutely disgusting. You’ve taken away the joy of feeling included, the joy of every single disabled player, the joy from every single remote living player. Start listening to your users Niantic, do better, stop the discrimination

Great time killer. It think this app is fantastic for just killing time while doing stuff. It’s got a good set up and what not but I do feel it’s very limited. Most of the Pokémon are in the city and they have a fast appearance rate but if your out in the suburbs it takes a while for them to show up and it’s always ones that are very common. The amount of pokestops aren’t too great either in the suburbs and the cost of things in the shop can be quite expensive and all this makes it hard to stay interested in the game. If these were to be fixed and made for easier access to people who don’t get a chance to go to the city a lot like myself it would make playing this more enjoyable. Please make things a bit easier for the ones who can’t catch them all ;P

2019 and the game is buggy plus cheaters ignored. as a new player who just started playing in 2019 and with high hope of becoming a loyal customer / supporting financially, i am devastatingly disappointed with my experience. Just a few days into the game ive came across a very very obvious cheater using multiple level 40 accounts to attack / defend all gyms in the surrounding local area. first its unfair to the opposition teams, second HIS own teammates wouldnt be able to get a spot thanks to his selfishness. I tried and reported this a few times to Niantic only ended up getting ignored, not even a single acknowledgement email saying the matter is being investigated. And today my character suddenly stopped moving completely and i have submitted a support ticket and not yet answered as well. I am very pessimistic with the integrity of Niantic’’s T&Cs as it seems they dont care about their own policy and the customers either. And i checked this with a few pokemon go communities in social media and they said dont bother, thousands of people have tried but Niantic doesnt do anything about it. So yeah my suggestion, if you want to play this game casually for free, then go for it. but dont get your hope up and dont even think to support niantic because they dont even care about you. I wonder if this review will get deleted by them also.

Great game but.... Great game but you need data or wifi to play and some people only have limited access to data and can’t spin Pokestops from home. Also, there should be Poké Centers like in the main series games or at least make it more common to find potions and revives cause I love battling but it’s hard to do so when you only have Pokémon that are super low in cp still alive. Also I should mention that I found a shiny Roselia and had no poke balls so I think they should give you Poké balls when you find a shiny and don’t have poke balls or at least give you a way to keep the shiny where it is so you can catch it later. A Nd my freind code is 4505 6927 4190 so invite me to a raid sometime

Crashinngggggg again. Oh my god...this game has started crashing every other time when i am in a raid battle.

Niantic getting greedy. 1) you made incense impractical 2) you ruined community DAYS 3) lowered rare candies from raids 4) changed 3 remote raid passes from 250 coins to 300 5)removed remote raid pass from 1 coin bundle I’ll be taking a break until you solve these issues.

Terrible. Terrible changes they’re making to the game

New update disappointing. In the previous versions transferring and evolving Pokémon was easy and quick to do. I'm annoyed with the new update, when you transfer a Pokemon, you are automatically scrolled to the top of the Pokemon in your bag, rather than remaining in place. Before the update I could transfer a Pokémon and the app would leave me on the same pokemon number in my bag. Now you have to constantly scroll back.

One star review on Pokémon. So I was trying to connect backed up to my account but it says route require update but it doesn’t work at all so I give us a one star rating

Somehow niantic ruined a “fool proof” concept. Preys on addictive habits of its fans while raising prices, tracking and selling user data without listening to its fans and users. Niantic really messing up a golden goose.

Micro transaction driven game. Too difficult to obtain coins without purchasing them. Now that they have decided to increase the costs of items, it is unrealistic for me to continue playing... Please consider implementing more ways to earn coins, or lower the prices of items in the shop.

They don’t listen. The community would like communication between producer of game and player of game, sad to see that it doesn’t happen

:(. Really disappointed by the changes that were made to remote raids.

Changes are making this game unplayable. Pokémon used to be a super fun game but I’ve had to change my once 5* rating to 1* and thinking about quitting. I used to spend about $30/month but won’t be spending another dime. Some of the they’ve made recently: - Gotten rid of 1 coin bundles which include a free remote raid pass - Reduced community day hours from 6 to 3, so many people will be unable to play during this short timeframe (Why? How does this cost them Money?) - Increased the price of remote raid passes - Decreased the frequency Pokémon spawn with incense (Again why? No one wants to buy them anymore now which loses them money) - Lowered legendary rates from GO Battle League - Lowered rare candy rates instead of increasing as promised At this rate many people have opted out of playing. Why bother?

Getting better, but.... What happened with this latest update?? When delete, change a mon's name, or evolve, it brings you back to the top of list... Every time!! This version is not usable to do anything w the mons you've caught already. Please fix asap!!

VERY big problems recently. Alright so when the regidraco elite raids happened, most people who were actually able to participate in them had a terrible experience due to the servers being all messed up or something. They’re jacking up the prices of remote raid passes and increasing rewards for in person raids so that people will get out more ONLY so that they can get more money from the location data they get from you. Now they’re making the regilikie elite raids happen happen on Easter Sunday of all days. Money hungry devs, terrible events, and just overall is being completely destroyed by niantic. 8/10 when I actually enjoyed it, 3.5/10 right now.

Great but.... Love the app would get 5 stars but I would love to see a “sort by most candy” filter option just so I don’t have ti check each different Pokémon if I can’t remember the candy amount, other than that the game is still amazing

Not happy with the remote passes changes. I don’t have a community to play with other than an online group we created with people from France and French Canadian. We organized raids on a daily basis. With the price increase it will cost too much to even do 5 remote raids a day and it will go back to precovid where it will be nearly impossible to do a 5* raids. This is not an inclusive game anymore.

Horrible developers. This game will keep bugs in the game (such as being unable to see team go rocket stops at a distance) and WHILE not fixing active bugs they will go ahead and instead nerf other aspects of the game that the entire community loved. They don’t care about the community at large, don’t download this waste of time

Crashes before I can even open it. As soon as I press the app and the Niantic logo comes up, the games crashes back to the home screen, I’ve deleted and downloaded the app countless times and nothing seems to work.

Crystal. They removed remote raid passes. Massive mistake on their end. They’re forgetting we all have jobs and school and stuff

Sad day for the remote community. Very unimpressed with the recent remote raid price hikes and nerfs

#HearUsNiantic. Listen to your players. What you’re doing April 6th and still choosing to ignore all of your trainers is low. I’ve enjoyed this game thoroughly for its run but after this I’ve chosen to delete the app until some sort of change occurs.

Ranking. If I could rate a “0” I would… spending so much time and effort only to lose. I really do enjoy the game but the ranking system needs to go. It has become no fun to play anymore…

Save your money. Niantic makes a TON of money off this game and yet the app has so many issues that they won’t or can’t fix. Would you buy a new car knowing the brakes would fail daily or the engine quits all the time? If you put money into this app then maybe you would. This is what Niantic is selling, a lemon of an app. Stop wasting your money on Pokémon GO and buy yourself something frilly.

Fraud & Theft!! Horrible customer service!!. I bought some pokecoins for my son and after the purchase went through they did not show up in the account. I called customer service and according to them I received them so they refused to add the coins to the account or to reimburse me for the purchase. I had to call my credit card company and report them for fraud and was reimbursed through them. This company is now being investigated by the Better Business Bureau and MBNA.

Horrible game. I used to love this but since they raised the price of the remote raid passes I lost all respect for the game. Now the game is not friendly to play for everyone, it’s a pay to win game🙄

Pokémon’s downfall. 1 why on a earth would u up the prices on remote raid passes 2 only 300 Pokémon allowed and it costs 200 coins to have only 50 more spots I can’t afford that if I have to save up 195 coins for raid passes Now the game is only fun for the first few weeks u play and then it’s add because of these new changes Be better niantic

Game is losing its appeal. At a lightning fast pace.. So many bugs and glitches lately. So many game mechanics not working. So many promises by Niantic to make up for non-working events that cost players money and sometimes a great deal of time. But then Niantic just ignores their own promises. I might check back in a few months to see how it’s going. But I’m pretty sure I will have something better to do by then.

NEW FEATURES PLEASE. Great game I love all aspects of the game it’s great guys but please save us all!! Please change couple things 1) after a certain level players should be able to gift items, pokeballs, revives maybe rare candys, or even just allow the trades to take place in person like trades so players have to b playing together in person in order to use the features, 2) just like all pokemon platforms players should be able to sell items for pokecoins just makes sense it would get more play time for sure also more sales in shop an players can get a few extra coins each week you gotta give us die hard fans some more love guys Everyone who agrees please like or share or add to this we need to keep making this game amazing Add my trainer code 5029 6224 7968

Raising the Price of Remote raids. This game used to be a way for kids and adults alike to get outside. Maybe even go places in you’re town that you haven't before. But now they just care about money… they said in this new update it'd bring balance to the game long term. How, all you have done is literally double the price of remote raids. Maybe to make certain pokemon harder to catch. However It doesn’t matter to this company, if money is involved then they care. Anyways to sum it up fun game great way to get out, but terrible money grubbing company.

annoying as HELL. this game was perfectly fine back in like 2020, but now y’all messed up. everything is becoming so expensive. inflation doesn’t apply to digital in-game currency niantic. can’t even catch most of the cool legendaries now because they are only available in in-person raids and the only people i know around here who play aren’t enough to beat those strong pokémon. it’s like they’re doing this just to spite us i swear.

Very Frustrating.. The distance reader is horrible, WALKED 20km today and it only counted 4.6km, seemed like my distance counter just froze. Should be Pokemon in more places other than just in Towns or Cities.

Changes. 1) bring the incense back to how it was during the first few years of the pandemic. 2) the price for the bundle of 3 remote raid passes has increased to 300 coins. While, a single still costs a 100. I have also read that they are possibly getting rid of the single remote raid passes in the shop. 3) bring back the 1 coin pack that had a remote raid pass. No one has the money to keep forking over money to buy remote raid passes.

Shortsighted. Niantic has consistently produced shoddy, glitchy, bugged content. They barely keep the game afloat, and with recent changes with remote raiding costs and restrictions, I’m sadly forced to leave a negative review. Your content is nakedly designed to generate as much usage and metadata as possible for you to sell. I was willing to deal with it until you decided that you didn’t like the way I enjoyed your game and decided not to allow it anymore. So I’m done until you learn to listen to actual players. That, or you lose the Pokémon licence you’ve been mishandling. Do better Niantic.

Bugs....... Do you test your updates before publishing them? I think not because the game has more and more bugs. the pokemon go plus no longer react under ios 11 and the application crash very often.

Increased prices ruined the game. The game designers ruined the game by increasing prices for remote passes. I don’t have access to raids before of my location and work scheduling. I only have access to raids with raid passes and can now lo longer afford to participate in this part of the game. Many people in my community are upset with this change and many will be deleting their game with this isn’t resolved.

Greedy Company. Zero connection with their player base, absolute scum company

Why coin limit. There shouldn’t a limit on how many coins I can get in a day it basically punishes the player for playing the game there is no real or justified reason for this please make bigger wallet

Awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Love the game pushes me to go out side in self isolation ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hear Us Niantic and The Pokémon Company. I’m not sure who is responsible for the decision of limiting and increasing the price of the Remote Raid Raid passes on the Pokémon Go App. Whether it’s Niantic or The Pokémon Company who made the decision, it doesn’t matter to me! What matters to me is the fact that you thought it was humane to completely ignore the community when we spoke. We are the very ones that keep the future of “Pokémon” alive. Oh, did you think it was you who holds the future? If everyone stops play your game(s) what happens then? Yes I’m calling you out “The Pokémon Company” because I’ve owned and played every single Pokémon game since Pokémon Gold on Gameboy and then Nintendo DS and now the Switch, and have been a fan ever since. It’s loyal followers like us you are affecting and ignoring. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you should be ashamed to represent the dream that you’ve been thriving to create when the first Pokémon games came out back in 96! Are we not the most important resource to you? Don’t companies cater the products and services according to what their customers want or need? Why are you letting your own insecurities blind you? Keep it up, and see what happens to the future of this app and also possible endeavours which you seek so very much 🙄😒

Niantic don’t care about disabled or remote players. Raising prices on remote raid passes while not providing a proper alternative for collecting legendaries. Niantic has been ignoring the feedback of their users for years and steadily making the game worse instead of better.

No running eggs :(. The speed limit on hatching eggs needs to be increased to 15 km/hr to accumulate egg hatch distance while running. 10.5 is too slow. This is the biggest downfall IMO.

Niantic doesn’t care about you!. This used to be a great game. But now the game is super glitchy and Niantic nerfed remote raiding and nearly doubled the cost if the passes. I guess that they want people to get out and read in person again but they forget that a lot of people don’t have that option because they lack gyms, or other trainers or they have other limitations that prevent them from getting out. That’s really too bad.

So disappointed. I really loved this game as I found many great friends while playing. It helped a lot during the pandemic (being stuck inside). Now you are crippling the remote raiding and because I live in a remote location it’s hell trying to play now. Be happy with my money because you’re not getting any more.

While looking at Pokemon ..... When you transfer or evolve Pokemon that aren't the first few it is so bloody annoying taking you back to Bulbasaur. This is a new "bug fix" in the last update? Come on. What a waste of time. When you have nearly 1000 Pokemon this is such a pain. Fix this now.

Remote Raid costs. These went up and what a lot of people don’t realize is that sucks because people with disabilities are now penalized cause they up the cost of these and make it harder for people to do the raids who aren’t mobile enough too. Not to mention people who live in smaller towns and villages who don’t have any options or very minimal options for raids. These people would use remote raid passes so they could participate. So people who are disabled or live in a small non-Pokémon Go community pay the price. Awful

Money grab. Seems like the devs only care about money :// no significant change to the game yet they charge more for items like remote raid passes. This completely disregards users like those with disabilities. Will not be playing the game anymore.

Fun game bad company. I love Pokémon and playing Pokémon go but the lack of communication from Niantic is extremely upsetting. The recent changes to the game have stolen all of my motivation to play the game. Very disappointed.

Prioritizing profit over players. The effects of inflation affects everyone, but this does not justify a 1.5x to 2x price increase to access the game’s premier feature of raids. RIP remote play.

I can’t keep supporting this company. Where do I even start? This game was once one of my favourite games to play on my phone. Now it’s so riddled with microtransactions that are SO pricey it makes your jaw drop. The player base keeps dropping and they for some reason keep marking prices up to the point where some cases cost $20-$40!!! For 30 pokeballs and a couple raid passes! Unacceptable. And now they just raised the remote raid passes to $2 for a single pass! I live in an area where nobody plays it so I’m forced to use remote raid passes. They used to be free every day or week then you had to pay a dollar. Now you have to pay $2. It’s ridiculously expensive to get into it now and it’s very anti consumer. I really liked this game but with the loss in players and rising prices it’s just not really worth it anymore. It’s still fun but you have to pay up to really enjoy this game. I can’t recommend this game to anyone in its current state. It’s clear they want to completely get rid of the player base but this isn’t the way. They ruined this game. Now that being said I can’t give it a 1 out of 5 because it’s still playable and fun, but with incense being nerfed so hard last year then this it’s so hard to play for rural players

Horrible raid boss catch rate. I have done so many raids where I get a majority of excellent throws and the raid boss still couldn’t get caught. Terrible rng

We had a good thing going. For both the player and Niantic.. Even though most of your profit margin comes from players who live in large cities or urban states, there has always been rural players who grinded since 2016. Who put up with the less populated gyms, stops, and spawns while not complaining. Now you have done something that is close to letting us spoof for two years to whatever gyms and raids we wanted to. It was a whole different experience and for once felt the larger city feel. We did not just sit on the couch and remote raid the entire time we played POGO. Some of us got to feel what it was like to be able to raid in places like NY, CA, and Asia. Now after having the best times raiding we’ve had since inception of this game, you want us to go back to our 2016 grind again. Some small rural towns have no player bases regardless of trying your best to recruit members that you would see from time to time at community days and other events. There simply aren’t enough readily available players with a schedule that is nearby to be able to meet up for tier 5 raids. You gave us a race car and let us drive the same way densely populated areas played, and now we have to be forced to go back to our old and outdated cars. We walk for our incense, our daily 15min incense, and to hatch our eggs. Most raids still require in person such as elite raids. Take my data, but not more money and my data.

Love and hate. Ive been playing pokémon go consistently for the last few years, i started when it came out but as many did fell out of it, I love and play a lot of the pokémon games, I started playing before i could read and thoroughly enjoy catching my friends and completing my pokédex, I love battling in other games and enjoy I enjoy battling in pokémon go at times, it seems like when you start approaching ace you start coming into contact with bot walls more often, “trainers” that have teams built specifically for your pokémon, they only attack when you do, if you stop they stop using quick attacks but still somehow are charging their charged attacks, and overall they just don’t behave like real people, whether it’s hackers or coded in im not sure but it’s not being dealt with, they constantly make updates that make it harder for their consumers to enjoy the game, such as making remote raid passes almost twice as expensive, people complain and they don’t make changes, I love pokémon i have since i was 5, and honestly this game is a real disappointment, if you really love pokémon you may find interest in this game, i definitely continue playing it but if you don’t feel like you can handle being treated like garbage by the devs and the frustration of battling I wouldn’t let it taint your idea of what pokémon is, on the other hand the community is wonderful and welcoming, so many really nice people

Still playing after so many years…but. I still miss how it was in the first year when literally everyone on the planet was playing! Buuuut, then the attorneys and insurance “the sky is falling” people took what was perfect and ran off millions of people by ruining it for kids who were checking their radars and spinning poke stops going down the road in their parents car by placing that pathetic speed limit on the game that ruined the radar and poke stops! Kids are all ADD, and keeping them occupied and their attention focused was completely lost by a bunch of morons that thought they could be sued because someone was playing while driving! If that were true every cellphone company in the world would be liable for someone sending texts while driving and causing a wreck, but they’re not! You lost the kids, and you lost a fortune! Sure, you’re still making a ton, but you could have been fortnight for years! I loved playing with my three kids, but now it’s just an old guy that never gives up, because I’m patient and not young with ADD! The world would be a much better place without attorneys, insurance companies, and lawsuits, especially if people wouldn’t cower to them! They’re just out to take your money!

Unbelievable Niantic. Let me start by saying that I have played this game since it’s release date in 2016. I find great enjoyment in the game itself (most of the time), but it is not without its issues. There have been and continue to be server issues that can make certain aspects of the game very frustrating at times. Nevertheless, I have spent a great deal of money over the years purchasing Pokecoins, as gaining Xp and leveling up would seemingly be impossible for a rural player like myself if I were to be a “Free to Play” player. But this review is not as much about the gameplay itself as it is about the creators of Pokémon Go, Niantic Labs. This company almost blatantly spits in the face of devoted community that supports its game time and time again. The most recent evidence of this (and perhaps the most frustrating yet) is their decision to rescind quality of life improvements to the game that were made in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. I’m not sure if the folks at Niantic have been paying attention to the world or not, but the pandemic isn’t over! Furthermore, what was it hurting by making some of these temporary changes permanent ones? Most notably, the distance at which a Pokestop or Gym can be spun to receive items. I am not one to ever write reviews, but this latest decision has myself and many, many members of the devoted community of Pokemon Go players at a boiling point. Make the right decision Niantic.

Just a cash grab. It might seem like Pokémon, but it’s just a cash grab. You can get 3 poke balls from a pokestop and then waste all of them if the game has decided you have caught too many Pokémon recently and make catch rates lower. It even goes as far as instantly breaking out of the ball and run away. If you want to hatch Pokémon, you can only do it one at a time or pay 1.50 per egg to let you walk with multiple eggs up to 9. Battling took so long to get and it’s completely lackluster. You get only two moves. A quick and weak moves and a charged move that more than likely will just use to finish off a Pokémon. Whoever did damage calculation needs to be fired. If you have a duel type let’s say a Charzard that is Fire/Flying. Ground is super effective against fire, but not effective against flying then it will be counted as not effective instead of doing normal damage. Fortunately you will do x4 damage to a Pokémon if you use a move that is super effective and one type and does normal damage to another in a duel type. There is no fun to be had in battling. Each player has two shields to block a charged moved and then some quick attacks afterward, while the one who used a shield can attack the opponent while their Pokémon has a 5 second Invincibility which will throw some free hits to hopefully knock out a opponent before they can start dealing damage again.

The game that asks for too much.. Although this game can be fun at times, it’s greatest flaws are the pay to play features, and it’s constant demand for you to give it your all. What do I mean by that? Well there are seasonal Pokémon, Pokémon that only come out during certain times of the year and legendaries that come out once or twice one year. Not a year, but once. It makes it difficult for returning players to get back in the grind set. If you miss a community day you may not see that Pokémon again. And if a Pokémon is only exclusive to raids you can only have one free raid a day, so you’re stuck with whichever iv you get. That is unless you pony up the cash to buy another raid pass. Another issue this game is how much internet it demands. I have a iPhone 11, running it at low settings yet CSGO runs at 120 fps on the same internet without lag, but a master league battle buffers for 5 seconds after each charge move. The lag is so bad that it seems to give opponents 3 shields and causes your own shields to fail. The PVP aspect needs to be patched severely. Overall I think I’ll keep the cycle of only installing this game when something interesting happens because frankly this game wants too much from the player, whether or not it’s asking for grind or for money, I’m done supporting this game. Hopefully you’ll make a wise decision and go invest on another game that rewards your time and effort.

Location accuracy is terrible; gets real boring.. I could be right where a pokestop is, and when I click on it it says “walk closer “. How much closer do you want me to get??? Then all those annoying warnings about my speed when I’m not even moving is a HUGE NEGATIVE! The location accuracy is terrible; I can be right in one area, then the game will show I’m half way across from where I actually am. Furthermore, as they continue to add new Pokémon to the game; the same repetitive ones still show up consistently all the time. There’s no variety to catch unless you are walking all over the place; at random you may come across something worth the effort that’s IF the game is functioning properly; or if they have some sort of event happening. Lastly, I finally deleted the game because any time I have an opportunity to do something with the game, it ALWAYS takes a lifetime to load up EVERY time i get ready to try and play it, or it won’t load at all. Additionally you can’t play it if the game fails to read your location properly. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this game. Update: now the experience as far as catching the Pokémon is worst! They seem to now make you use the augmented reality when trying to catch the Pokémon forcing you to lose several balls, because if you move the phone around you lose sight of the Pokémon too. It’s like they think they’re making this game better, but it just gets worse with each update!

Overall a fun game. The catching system is charmingly simple yet not incredibly easy, and the game provides incentive to catch Pokémon in the form of the Pokédex. And while legendary Pokémon are obviously going to be sought after as status symbols, the gym system is painstakingly easy, but the Niantic does give pretty generous rewards for participating in gym battles, such as up to 50 premium currency a day to keep all content technically free, but I find it a chore to go out to an isolated gym or to a gym in the middle of the night just so I can make sure I cap out on 50 pokecoins a day. It is nearly impossible to fail a gym attack once you reach level 20, which isn’t a long time at all, and thus victories don’t feel fulfilling and rather tiresome. But, the game does put an emphasis on meeting up with people to battle a difficult enemy, also known as a raid, but that is the extent of difficult content, and even then you will never need more than 10 decently leveled people to breeze through a raid. I understand the combat system for raids, but I believe the gym combat system could benefit greatly from a more engaging overhaul that adds more depth. Overall, however, the charming and incredibly fun catching system compensated for the uninteresting combat system and still provides an enjoyable experience.

Sad just SAD .. I have been a loyal user of this app for quite some time now, but I am extremely disappointed with the recent price increase. Pogo used to be affordable and provided great value for money, but now, the prices have gone up significantly, making it difficult for me to justify the cost. Pogo was my go to app every single day and I loved how it made me feel . However, now that the prices have gone up, I can no longer afford to use it. This is especially disappointing because I have become accustomed to the convenience that this app provided me. I understand that the app needs to make a profit, but the sudden increase in prices has left me feeling cheated and misled. I do not feel like I am getting the same value for my money as I did before, and this is incredibly disappointing. The new prices are exorbitant, and it is clear that the developers have not taken their users' budgets into account. Pogo remote raids were supposed to be a helpful tool, but now it feels like a luxury that I cannot afford. This is incredibly sad and disappointing. Overall, I am disappointed that the app has become unaffordable, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable solution. If the developers want to retain their loyal users, they need to reconsider their pricing strategy and offer more affordable options. Until then, I will have to quit playing , I just can’t .

Glitches and Overachievement, yet Fun. Now, before I get too far in the review, I will say I like the game. It makes me want to go outside and exercise. But parts of the game are broken. Like how I put 3 Pokémon in a gym, yet when they fainted (they were in there for 24+ hours), I was off the app and it gave me no coins. I was frustrated, and those gyms are far away from me, so after a long walk (I do it everyday,) I was drained. Another glitch is when Pokémon simply don’t get caught, and it is constantly in the ball, not loading me to the catch stats screen. As an avid 4-year fan, these glitches are getting more frequent, causing some dissatisfaction. And the challenges to maybe, just maybe, catch a rare Pokémon. And I still haven’t even finished the Mew challenges. The FIRST challenge series. Raids aren’t easy at all and in one challenge, I have to win 10. Those Ditto challenges though...those are so hard to do. What do raid Pokémon even do? But on the plus side, the game offers loads of things to do and there are many events to boost chances of some Pokémon appearing. All and all I wanted to report some glitches and things that need balancing. EDIT: Found out there was a 50 coin limit per day. Again, needs to be fixed. This is especially annoying when you’re low on supplies.

Horrible customer service!!!!!!. I’m writing this because of an experience I just had with this game. I’m a long time player, I have been playing since the game came out. Anyways I took part in go fest that just took place and besides a few glitches everything was fine until 8pm hit on Sunday. I was playing and I had a Durant spawn at 8pm and it was shiny!!! I couldn’t believe it I was so excited so I took a snap shot of it and then proceeded to catch it. I posted the Pokémon I just got on the Pokémon messager group I am in to show everyone how excited I was. Well that’s when everything went south. I went back to my game and it wasn’t shiny anymore... so I took screenshots of everything including the original shiny one I had and sent it to niantic to have them try and fix it. Well guess what the creators of the game said they can’t help me... I mean you would think that maybe they would wanna do something to make me happy because I have been playing this game for 4 years and have given them thousands of dollars. So I messaged them and told them my situation again and all they said was it’s a glitch and nothing they can do.. they didn’t even offer any sort of compensation for my troubles. Then Regina was the person who messaged me and was very rude about everything. Well I am very disappointed in the customer service they offer and I will absolutely think twice before spending my money and time in this game again if this is how they treat people!!!

Best game i have, but... Pokemon Go is the game i play the most, it's a good way to make friends and have a good time with family members.. But i have a few problems when playing. First off, i have this bug where sometimes when i click on a pokemon, my screen goes completely white and i cant do anything to fix it besides cross out the app. I haven't seen any other Reviews that have this problem yet, but it happens to me pretty often.. And it gets really frustrating when i need the pokemon for a collection challenge. Lastly, It annoys me when im battling someone and they use more than the added amount of shields.. I dont think its a bug, more like a cheater/hacker?.. But it annoys me. There are also a few things i would like to be added to the game. First, i think you should be able to chat with your friends to invite them to raids or battle them instead of having to have their phone number to talk to them. Second, i dont like that you have to be close to the person to trade pokemon, if you're trying to trade your friend from a long distance away, it won't let you and i think that should be added.. It would be nice. I wasn't meaning any of this in a selfish or rude way, None of this has to be added or fixed, it would just be nice. ♡

Basically got ripped off. Because of the way raids are set up, I basically got ripped off by random strangers and wasted my money. The fact that you have to rely on a large group of random strangers in order to do raids for rare Pokémon is a bad enough mechanic already, but because the game allows people to leave the raid at any time, even at the literal last second before it starts is basically set up to screw people over. Case in point, I used real money to buy coins so I could acquire a remote raid pass to try and catch a Suicune that was no where near me. While waiting for the raid to start, there were 5 other players along with me waiting. To me that seemed like enough people to do the raid with and be successful, so I was just continuing to wait and prepare for us to fight and get my chance to catch the Pokémon. However, I guess a few of the other random strangers in the raid disagreed at the VERY last second and bailed with no time for the three remaining players including me to withdraw as well and end up having to try with too few people. Needless to say we were not enough to defeat Suicune and ran out of time. Thus I had essentially wasted the raid pass that I spent my money to purchase all because strangers don’t care about what happens to you, and because Niantic thinks allowing them to do that is not a problem apparently. They still have my money, so it’s all gravy for them…😕

Could be aesthetically better. I play this game daily and it’s really fun! It keeps me active and since I love Pokémon I find it super engaging. I only have a few small critiques that I hope will improve with time: 1- earning coins is really hard with a 50 coin daily max, I would gladly pay a small $1-$3 monthly subscription to remove the 50 coin daily max. 2- on screen visuals are lacking, I can tell what time of the day it is and when it’s windy but there are no rain or snow graphics, just an icon in the upper right corner that isn’t always accurate. 3- there are no ways to change your buddies pose while taking a picture. I’d love to be able to tap on the screen and see my buddy Pokémon sit or lay for some more variety when I’m taking pictures. 4- the trainer models could be better, there is only one hair style and body type and it makes it hard to tell my friends avatars apart. Other than that the game is fun and I love being a real life Pokémon trainer. To me it’s very obvious the game developers are focused on developing other parts of the game, like events and new Pokémon instead of adding some huge quality of life improvements to the over all aesthetic gameplay. I’ll continue to play and see how this game improves :)

No Love For Casual Players. I’ve been a fan of Pokémon since 2006 when I was first introduced to the franchise via Pokémon Gold. With that when PokemonGo was first released you know I joined to rest of the world and played constantly. It’s not been 6ish years since the release and I’m truly starting to hate the game for more and more reasons. I’m well aware it’s intentions are to get you to get up and out and walking. Spoofing is SO common in the game now, everyday on TikTok I see dozens of people spoofing like crazy jumping all around the world and never caught. Then you have the crazy people that use 18 devices because raiding is impossible without a group of friends. I can see how all of these seem like “well maybe do walk around, meet friends to play with or join a community”. This is about casual gameplay I don’t see why players should be expected to do things a large population of players are exploiting. I’ll even go ahead and say I did grow so bored I did download a spoofer myself. I wasn’t crazy I literally used it to walk around my neighborhood to the poke stops and low level raids. I was caught after 1 day. I have not since done it because I’d rather not lose 6 years of progress I’ll just limit my playing to 10 minutes a day since I have to be moving to play any longer 🙃

Niantic deleted my first review. I’ll keep this brief, but not brief enough that this can be misinterpreted as a bot review. This company is completely out of touch with its base and I don’t know why they insist on sabotaging their game but I’ve had enough. A very vocal majority is telling you that the way people play this game has forever changed, and will not return to the way. It was pre-pandemic, no matter how much you want it to, these remote raid nerfs were completely unnecessary and have turned me off to the game. I see that as someone who spent 5 to $10 a month which is a paltry sum compared to some of the whales who play this game. the only time I’ve even done more than five remoteraids in a single day is maybe during big events like go tour or something like that. the reality for myself, and most people I know is that it’s impossible to even find a community to do in person reads with anymore. Which means now more than ever in person Raiders and hosts depend on remote Raiders for raids to even work anymore. And now you’ve put more obstacles in front of remote Raiders, which will in turn make them scarce as well. So congratulations you’ve ruined rating for everyone. I would uninstall, but now I have the arduous task of transferring any good Pokémon to Pokémon violet. A process which should be simple if not for your cash grabbing tendencies that limit the amount of Pokémon we can transfer daily.

Not a game for Agoraphobics. So when I first played this game I used to love in bumfuq nowhere land where the closest gym was 30 minutes away, gathering coins was a distant dream at that point which is why I tried to cheat and use programs to make it so my character could actually go places for once but then that account got banned. 😔 I can understand why but how tf else was I suppose to progress!!? Anyways, even after moving closer to stops and gyms, though I live like maybe 10 minutes away from a gym walking distance it doesn’t matter because of my anxiety and agoraphobia so either way I’m screwed here. XD Not to mention being in the middle of a virus pandemic has made it EVEN HARDER to even TRY and go to gyms or stops out of fear of killing ppl by spreading said virus... and NOW I got riots to worry about... idk if you know this Niantic but the world isn’t always a nice place especially now and playing this game would be loads more fun if we could actually move our characters manually without actually having to leave our house and our characters could even travel the world that way which would be cool. (Or even have 2 modes so ppl can still walk around if they wanted, idk just an idea) Please fix this game so that EVERYONE can enjoy this game because as it is right now some people have a disadvantage and it’s just not fair to those people :T

Addicting game, I just got a request.. I love the game so much. I got it a while back, but due to losing my account information I couldn’t retrieve anything from it. But it was okay, because I was still a sort of low level. I love that you can customize your character creation and walk around the map finding locations of places and poke. I just ask that there are more available options in customization. I kinda want more hairstyle options. I feel like having a unique character sets a more attractive mood in the Pokémon world. In the anime/cartoon, characters were distinguished by their hair shapes, eyes shapes, and what they wore...Oh and their colors! If the developer doesn’t have time for that, maybe finding a way for a creator mode where those who sign up for it can create hairstyles(or other mod creations) for other players across the world. You can even have the creator mode set up where they pay for that kind of vip section, it may boost your product, who knows. Whatever you do and however you find, I really just want a different hairstyle 😓. That’s it for now! I recommend this game to everyone! It is fun and addicting! Also helps your motivation for walking outside more and exploring the world.

Great Concept, But It Could Use Polish. So, Pokemon games are about getting Pokemon and pitting those Pokemon against other Pokemon, right? Well this game is just that, but without the second part. Sure, catching Pokémon in the real world with AR is genius, but it gets old after a while. And the only way to battle other Pokemon is going to gyms. Now, what’s smart about the gyms is that you need to be a certain level to enter certain gyms, which encourages you to level up more by, again, getting Pokemon. Now, what I mean by the battling part of the game not being there is this: it sort of feels like an afterthought. If your Pokemon faint in battle, you’re in for some SERIOUS grinding. First, you have to get potions from pokestops so you can use them to heal your Pokemon. But oh no! If your Pokemon aren’t leveled up enough, you can’t heal them! Wanna level them up? Sorry! Nope! YOU have to be a certain level in order to level up your Pokemon, AND THEN you can heal them. This is literally the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced in a video game. Granted, gym battles are optional, but if the option is available, don’t make it so freaking tedious!! Although, I have hope that you will fix these problems, because this game used to have SEVERE internet issues, and you fixed that. So please, listen to my complaints and fix the grinding issues!!

App is fine. Niantic is bad. Long story short I had to delete the email attached to my Pokémon go account due to it being compromised. I spent a whole day switching over accounts but I had forgotten about Pokémon go. Of course since the email no longer exists I’m unable to sign in, so I contacted Niantic about it. I got an email where I had to answer a series of questions about my account like the last achievement I had unlocked or my last in app purchase. I hadn’t played in months because I have limited to no time while university is in session so I regularly play during breaks. So you can imagine the difficulty I had in answering questions about game progress made over six months ago. I was given two tries to get 11 questions like this right (all of them, in fact, you have to get right or they don’t help you and I got most of them right in the first place) and of course I couldn’t, so now I lost my account that I had since the game’s release. It’s really telling that a player who has been with the game since the beginning just gets tossed to the side like it’s nothing. The game is awesome but niantic has by far the worst customer service/assistance I have ever seen in a company. To think all of this could have been solved by having a couple of security questions like literally any competent website has. I will never play another Niantic game again because of this experience

Great game to bring family and friends together. This is an amazing game. It is great to play with family and friends to have large enough teams to tackle higher level raids and of course bragging rights for capturing the strongest Pokémon or a shiny. I know some people complain about it forcing you to get out of the house and be physically active. I can promise you that once Pokémon start appearing on your screen you will forget about how far you’ve walked. Events happen very regularly, the ability to add friends from other countries is a huge plus, after you reach a certain level you can nominate pokestops which makes it a little easier for us who don’t live in big cities. The only drawback/improvement I can say is that it would be great to have some type of messaging ability in app to communicate with other players. It’s difficult to help your friends with a raid when all you receive is a notification of their invite. Some of us are busy with real life at times and being able to communicate would help with planning and who to send the limited number of invites to. I apologize for the long review. Hope it helps and hope to see more people in game! -1RedRaiderYoung

Innovative and Adaptive. Pokémon has been a staple of my childhood; so needless to say, I had very high hopes when Niantic brought Pokémon Go to us. At the start of its conception the game has been captivating and engaging in a whole new way with today’s technology. Though lacking aspects from the original game such as battling others or fighting a great evil like Team Rocket, Niantic has continuously evolved the app, actively listening to its fan base to make a Pokémon game that resembles the original more and more closely. Admittedly I was only slightly disappointed by how limited the game was first starting out, so I dropped it for a year. When I started playing it again with friends later, I was shocked and impressed by how far the game has come in its innovations and adaptivity, bringing 1 on 1 battles to the table in a variety of league settings, constantly sending out news letters to its players in order to stay up to date with Pokémon events happening from week to week, creating Raid Hours and Community Days, allowing invites to Raids, battling Team Rocket, and so much more! If you thought the game was lacking from the start, I strongly encourage you to pick it up again and see what it has become today. I look forward to Niantic’s journey for this game with great anticipation

Love it, but needs improvement. To start this off, I want to let you know that this is a great game. Even though it was the craze a year or two back, I’ve just started playing a week ago and love it! There’s only a couple things that I would like that might get other players back into it. First off, changing that battle system is a must. Players do not like the mad tapping and sliding you do when you battle a gym. Maybe switching it to the usual battle style will keep players happy. Secondly, I think adding battling and trading with other players will make it more enjoyable. I personally, don’t have the money to fly to another region and catch a Pokémon that is region specific. If we had trading, you could trade with someone elsewhere that might have the Pokémon. Also, the battling will keep players engaged to the point where they will try and beat their friends by catching more powerful Pokémon. Last but not least, I think you should add NPCs to the game. With the battle mechanics you could add trainers to battle against and earn rewards for winning! That would give players enough enthusiasm to go and battle trainers. Adding the evil organizations like Team Rocket could also add some spice to the game. That’s all I have, and thank you for reading!

What I Rate Pokemon and my Review. Over there | | V WELCOME to what I rate and write for my REVIEW. SO lets start with the review now. SO first, no offense but it’s kind of boring and I feel like there is nothing to do when: THERE is no POKEMON or Pokemon I already have. Or when there is no FRIENDS around. BUT when friends are around or Pokemon that I don’t have yet are there I really like the game! BUT it doesn’t bother me when I feel like the game has nothing to do so I hope I didn’t make the owner feel sad about the game. I love to do raid battles but I don’t really like it when it runs out. I know how to get raid passes but at the same time not. (SORRY if it do not make any sense) I still love the game even if there is no friends around or no Pokemon and Pokemon I already have there. (IF you know what I am trying to say) I also think it was really smart for PLAYERS to have to be next to each other. (MAX 100 meters) BUT I want to trade one of my friends when she is at her house at the same time but I would puffer to have to be next to each other for it to have a lower change to get scammed. I also like how they do that. Well that’s all bye <3 Caps = important words (to me) (like players, or family) or the first word of a sentence. P.S FOR real bye

Greedy. Niantic is nothing but greedy. The increase in prices on in game accessories that make playing worth it is absolutely ridiculous. Niantic is failing to acknowledge the people who live in a rural area and have no community to participate in raids. They’re also being anything but compassionate to those with disabilities/other ailments who PHYSICALLY cannot leave their homes to participate in raids and events. The pandemic changed the way of the world, and as much as I wish we could revert back to 2016 where everyone was active and enjoying their time outdoors with other players, that just isn’t plausible. PoGo has not only lost traction throughout the years, but with the changing environment and economy it is beyond me that a million dollar + company would do this to long time, committed, and valuable players. Not only upping the prices of remote raiding, but limiting the daily amount of raids you can attend is nothing but greedy and will absolutely destroy the success of the game. Either get rid of the daily coin cap, or keep prices of raid passes reduced and amount of raids unlimited. If you truly want to encourage people to get out and actually play the game, make it accessible to all and not centered around spending money. This game used to be free to play, unlimited possibilities, and exciting. Your inability to care about anything but a dollar is ruining it not only for us who enjoy the game, but you from further profiting.

Atrocious Support/Customer Service. I love this game, or should I say I “loved” game, and played it every day for the last 7 years. However the customer service/support is appalling. Condescending and rude, they just repeat the same thing over and ofer again and refuse to help. Due to an issue with my Google account, I lost access to my Pokemon Go account, I emailed Niantic support for assistance and to ask them to link my Apple ID so I can get access again, they refused to help, stating that my account had broken their TOS (yet refused to tell me what term or how I broke it), despite the fact that my account is currently active and is not suspended or terminated, and there is currently and never been any sanction applied to my account this whole time. But now that i can’t access it due to a third party issue, they simple don’t care and refuse to help, they condescending tell me (repeatedly) to “make another account and remember to link your Apple ID to that account”. I have purchased countless tickets/coins/event tickets etc, including pre-purchasing a ticket to the Pokémon Go Fest 2023 event back in June (which i can’t use) and niantic refuse to refund me for, despite the fact that it is them who is refusing me accessing my account. They do not care about their customers, their own TOS states they “may” enforce rules on players accounts, but it seems it’s entirely at their discretion who they apply the rules to.

update. i love the game but i give it a 2 bc it needs updates for ease of use. im a passenger in a car alot and pokestops should be able to open and spin if were going past one at 60 mph bc some of the places we go by no one is walking to so the onlyway to hit it is from a car but like i said if im a passenger there shouldnt be restrictions. also i dont need the dont pokemon and go while driving message to pop up every time my speed changes if i say im a passenger it should acknowledge and not ask again unless i close the app and open back up if u have to create a license agreement stating that if u check this box and are using pokémon go while driving after it asks if ur a passenger and u aren't a passenger u cant sue if u get in an accident then do that . also the special stones and leafs and all that for upgrades should be way easier to get I'm level 28 and have never seen some of them and i have the candies to upgrade idk if thats just me but ... lastly ditto idk what i have to do but its the longest achievement I've been trying to get i cant ever find him and like i said i'm a passenger a-lot i go all over the state it's getting to the point where i don't wanna play anymore bc i cant get to the next stage of special research its a lil ridiculous like i feel like they should pop up once since i have 2 special researches for it but yea hope thats all taken into account before i delete the app bc i like playing

Please make it work better with iPad!!!. I absolutely LOVE this game, but the performance on my iPad Air 2 is pretty crappy at times. Like all day today it’s been giving me GPS errors, and it’s also been telling me to ‘try again later’ when I’m doing poké stops even though I’m not driving and I’m close enough. I have to try them like 10 times before they finally work. There’s also a glitch where sometimes when I try to place a Pokémon in a gym it tells me ‘this gym has no room for additional Pokémon’, even though there’s only one or two in there. And last but definitely not least, I just got into a legendary Pokémon raid (which I was very excited for by the way, and used a remote raid pass but when I went to go into the gym it told me I was too far and kicked me out. That was my last remote raid pass. Why did I get kicked out when it was a remote pass? Now I have none left. These issues are very very frustrating. I spend good hard earned money to buy things on this app, and when I use it on my iPad it does not function properly. It does a lot of other stuff too that I can’t think of at the moment that does not happen on the same account on my iPhone. I think you guys need to do some fine-tuning so that it works better with iPads. I would definitely give it 5 stars if these issues were fixed. Thanks for your time!

Go Battle League. The G.B.L used to be very fun and competitive. I could go out and see what people were using and strategize teams capable of doing well. But, now in season 3 the algorithm feels socialist and fixed, way more than last season. What I mean by that is, I’ll use a team and everyone I go up against “just happens” to have the perfect team to destroy mine more than half the time, so I’ll change my team to combat the teams that I have been seeing, but the teams I’ve been seeing are no longer what I am seeing and again everyone I verse has a different team which “happens” to be made to easily destroy my team. This algorithm has in fact ruined the G.B.L. by removing most if not all of the competitiveness. So, people get wins when the algorithm says they should win and loses when the algorithm says they should lose. The only way to really get more than 50% wins seems to be if your opponent makes a mistake, which doesn’t usually happen because people who you verse when ranking matters usually know what they’re doing because they got to the rank they have by knowing what they’re doing. So, socialism may sound great, but in a competitive game it is asinine to have the system built around an idea that completely lacks competitiveness. Please allow the matching system to be more capitalist because capitalism is very competitive. And competitiveness is way more fun than non-competitiveness. I’ll probably increase my ranking if this change is made.

Not Right. I have been playing Pokémon go for several years now and about a year ago started getting into the raid. Until today I actually enjoyed playing Pokémon and doing the raids. I got the chance to do the new raid boss Giratina and actually had enough people to down the raid boss just before the time ran out. However I DIDNT GET Giratina because it would NOT stay in the White ball. I gave it berry’s but NOTHING WOULD HELP. I was not over throwing the balls and I didn’t miss 1 time but didn’t get the Pokémon because it would NOT stay in the ball AT ALL didn’t matter if I threw a berry or not. We do the raids to win the Pokémon and to do all that work and not win the Pokémon because it won’t stay in the ball is very wrong. It’s hard enough to actually find enough players to down a boss like Giratina where I live which is why I’m so very frustrated this happened. I’m sure some might think I’m just complaining but this is the 2nd time this has happened. I fully believe something needs to be done about this. If we are given these special white balls then it should be very hard for the Pokémon to brake out so we actually get the prize we are there for not break out as soon as it’s caught ever time. If that’s the case then why give us the special white balls .I don’t know if this has been happing to others I’m sure I’m not the only one but I can say if this happens again I will stop playing it Pokémon!!

Solid Fun, Mostly. I’ve been playing since release (on and off), and it’s a good way to pass the time if you’re out and about, exercising, or what have you. There are some basic quality of life features that the game could use, things such as being able to earn more than 50 coins from a Pokémon returning from holding a gym (no matter what, you can only get 50 per day, so if you have a Pokémon set at a gym and after 7 months it’s defeated and returned, you still only get 50. And that’s only if another hasn’t been returned to you that same day), as well as being unable to sell items back instead of just uselessly discarding them. It would make sense to be able to “sell” items similar to the way you can in actual Pokémon games for either in-game coins, Stardust or some type of currency. I could go on, but long story short is that it’s a fun, interactive little game that you can have a great time with. Anyone who is a fan of the franchise and either lives in or regularly travels to more populated areas would surely enjoy it. Sure, some of the quests can be nearly impossible to complete after a set amount of time (depending on your geographical location) but it’s worth picking up just to try out for a week or so.

Addicting, Free & Gets you moving!. Admitting I play Pokémon is kind of hard but I can honestly say that it’s fun to get out and explore new places and you get so much exercise. I’ve been playing for a couple of months now and I’ve lost 20 lbs. I started playing during the pandemic and thought I’d quit when places started opening, but I kept playing. I would really love it if there was a way though, to see how much candy you have for a specific Pokémon as your going to catch it. Sometimes I don’t know if I need to waste a certain berries or pinaps on them. Catching a shiny is the highlight of anyone’s day lol but if you don’t have enough candy for it to evolve it, it’d be nice to know before trying to catch it. Maybe where it shows the CP and the Pokémon name, you could add in how many candy you have for that Pokémon. Other than that, you’ve done an amazing job. I also think that if you catch a water type, their fast and charge attacks should be water by default. If you want to change them to other options they have, then do so, but I caught a grass type and it’s moves were both water and dark. It throws me off when I search for “grass” and it pulls them up but neither of their moves are grass lol.

My Favorite Game...By Far. I haven’t written a review for Pokemon Go yet, and I think it is about time. I have been playing since the day the game was officially launched and have loved it. I love the creativity, and all of the little details like team rocket taking over. The ability to play with my pokemon in the Let’s go Pikachu game on Nintendo Switch. I love how some community days I didn’t really catch everything I wanted to, but then the next time I catch twice as much, almost like it is making up for the last time. I love how the game is fair, you do not get everything all the time, but it is made up in other ways. One community day I remember it being awful, but part of the reason was I was in a bad location, so I didn’t get to evolve my Squirtle I think it was, but the next day I caught a Snorlax, it was just hanging out at my house. I love the incorporation of exercise and the idea of getting up and going to catch pokemon like a real trainer would. This game has meant so much to me, and I want to say that all of you at the Pokemon Company are amazing! In all of the games you create, the movies and episodes to the show that come out, the cards, the toys. I love it, and hope it goes on for so many more years to come!

Changes come…. Honestly I think this game is revolutionary in terms of how massive of an impact it had upon release. As time moved new and old players alike, came and went. Many updates were made throughout the several years of release and eventually due to restrictions and regulations Nintendo & Niantic released “Remote Raid Passes” to accommodate for the inability to travel during these restrictions and regulations. This item is what allows rural and handicapped players the same fair chance at the game as someone who lives in a big city or can walk to and from gyms. I’m sure with the ever present threat of cheaters and raid spammers the development team felt changes were needed to make the game more of a level field and bring it back to its “GO” roots by trying to change the way remote raid passes work, however adding a 5 a day use limit and increasing the price by almost double from 100 pokecoins (approx. $1 usd) to 195 pokecoins (approx $1.9 usd) YOU (niantic & Nintendo) are essentially fighting the fire you originally started with more fire. STOP cutting out the small guy, us population 300 players who live near no reasonable poke stops or gyms rely on these raid passes to adequately play. STOP hindering your own player base, the game is great other than these poor choices. I would’ve given a 5 star review but this is just disheartening…

A great game for any Pokémon fan! So long that you live in a populated area and have friends.... I’ve been a huge fan of Pokémon for over a decade now and Pokémon GO was like a dream come true for me. It’s so much fun to just get outside into the wilderness and search for Pokémon! However, there’s a few issues, and not particularly the technical kind. I live in a somewhat urban area and it’s near impossible to find Pokémon. Sure a weedle or pigey may appear from time to time but that’s it. Unless you have an insense, it’s hopeless. This issue defeats the whole purpose of “go out in the wild to find Pokémon” when the ACTUAL wild is barren of them. Getting items and resources also becomes a problem because guess what? There’s no poke-stops when you live in the middle of nowhere. The next issue comes with raids. When you reach a certain level, you’re able to fight powerful Pokémon and occasionally legendaries! But the whole idea is that you need a group to do it. So if you don’t have at least 4 other people to take time out of their day to join you, you’re soft-locked into being without the ability to take on stronger Pokémon. Maybe I’m just being too harsh, again I LOVE this game. I’m hoping that with maybe the Alola or Galar update, they’ll make more wilderness filled areas have more Pokémon.

Why the challenges. The games good I’ve had it ever since it came out it has amazing updates and features like the buddy and egg hatching mechanic but one thing I hate are the challenges. The problem with the challenges (I’m talking about the special ones not the ones that you get from pokestops) are that they don’t count unless you had the challenge. If you don’t understand I’ll explain, for the new challenge or Meltan go challenges there’s one specific challenge that took me a year to finally do, it was to catch a ditto which I had done an hour before I got the challenge.i had caught a ditto an hour prior of getting the catch a ditto challenge and the problem is it didn’t count towards the challenge, but not only that I had evolved a magikarp three weeks ago and I just got the challenge evolve a magikarp challenge I don’t want to wait another year to just get another stage of a challenge that I will inevitably will have to do that will take me another year to do I just want to play the game and earn the challenges that I did too early without knowing it was too early. I hope this is seen so at least I have some sort of reasoning for this and if this is seen by a developer thanks this game is really nice and I cannot wait to see what else this game holds in the future.

Cheaters really make the game un enjoyable. I have been a Pokémon fan since I was a kid and still love Pokémon and I love Pokémon GO. But honestly, the reason why I gave a low rating is not because of the game it’s because of the cheaters especially in PvP (Go Battle League) that makes it less fun and un enjoyable for other fair playing players like me. I have a huge amount of losses because of cheaters who always uses lag exploits, (freezing the game where you can’t attack them while they’re still attacking and doing damage to your Pokémon and charge up their charged attacks faster because of it) breaking your shield’s when you use one causing their charged attack’s to go right through and still damaging my shielded Pokémon and using back to back charge attacks when using the weak connection lag to gain advantage when they start loosing (that’s when all of this starts happening when they start to loose). It’s annoying and frustrating honestly and I wish this could be fixed. It’s what makes the game unenjoyable when you can’t have a fair battle… at least on the GBL PVP. That’s unfortunately why I gave a low rating because it’s been an ongoing issue for a long time.. Other than that though, there isn’t any other complaints I just love Pokémon GO and I play it every single day. It’s a great game.

DONT PLAY GAME UNLESS YOUR CLOSE TO HOME. I am currently on vacation 10-14 hours away from home. Traveled by vehicle to my destination while playing Pokémon go on and off during the trip. Opened the game up in a new location and played for a few minutes when I was suddenly logged out and permanent banned, most likely due to niantic assuming I am using unofficial third party applications to fake my location. My lvl 48 account along with all my progress from playing daily is now gone, along with all in game purchases made with real world currency. If you invest a decent amount of time, energy, and or money in Pokémon go, I suggest not exploring new areas that are too far from home as you might lose all your progress like I did unjustifiably. I have sent multiple ban repeal tickets in with screenshot proof of my current real life location which would show I am playing in accordance to the terms of service. I have no received any response. I have created a Twitter account as it was suggested by a few players that niantic is more prompt with replies on Twitter but again I have not heard back. I am deeply upset with the non existent customer service, not even so much as a confirmation that my issue is being looked into. I support legitimate gameplay and I was doing just that, and for the simple crime of getting up and exploring a new place in game while vacationing, I have now lost years of progress.

Good, but needs major improvements. I have been playing Pokémon Go on and off since it came out, and it’s undoubtedly improved since then, evolving into a mostly enjoyable experience, and Niantic has adapted to the restrictions of COVID-19 pretty well. However, there are some things that desperately need fixing. The first one is raids: when a raid boss is defeated, the timer keeps running out for several seconds until the boss shrinks down and you can capture it. The timer should stop immediately once the boss’s health reaches zero. The second is Go Battle League: connectivity issues really ruin a lot of battles. I don’t want to win a battle because my opponent can’t fight back, and I don’t want to lose a battle because I’m taking damage and am unable to deal any back. There have been several instances where I will attempt to use a charge move, and despite no shields being used, it won’t do any damage to my opponent. And vice versa, I will use a shield, but I will still take full damage from my opponent’s charge move. If there is a connectivity issue, it should affect both players equally (read: neither should be able to do anything until it improves). It really ruins the excitement of GBL to experience something like that when there’s nothing you can do, and you still lose rank points for it. Please Niantic, fix these issues.

The game has really grown. I remember when the game came out 2 years ago. It was rough around the edges at best. It was the first of its kind and was revolutionary but crashed often, servers struggled, and to path to being the best wasn’t strait forward. The game was good at keeping you active but that was about it at the start. I remember a year ago it started getting better in terms of crashing, but still the encounter rate of certain Pokémon made it seem like they actually weren’t in the game. All you could find were pidgeys and rattatas. When the legendary raids came out a spark of life struck the game but there was still a lot of room for improvement. Now it’s September 2018 and the game has grown so much. There are a lot more Pokémon, and I encounter rare ones periodically rather than never. I enjoyed the Chikorita community day earlier today as well. A crowded university with hundreds of people all doing the same thing was really fun! I crashed a few times but overall the game is a lot sturdier than it used to be, at least on the iPhone. I feel like Niantic is actually taking our worries into consideration to a certain extent. I hope the game continues to go in the right direction. With all said and done I consider the current Pokémon go 5/5.

Best game ever but it needs some work. People say that this game takes forever to load but it doesn’t. They say that Pokémon hardly show up anywhere but that’s not true they have been popping up all over the place. I can hardly go one minute without a Pokémon showing up on my screen. So those people need to shut their mouth unless they know what they are talking about. This game even makes lazy kids who sit on the couch and play video games all day get up and go outside. It helps people get exercise and many people have said that this game has helped change their lives and those of many others. Pokémon is a great game and anyone who thinks otherwise can go cry to their mommies about it. That being said, this app does need a little help. For instance pikachu is very rare in fact maybe a little too rare. I have heard many people complain about not even seeing a pikachu at all ,me being one of those people. Also there isn’t much to do on the game in rural areas and it would be nice if you could just do something with the game to make it easier on those living in rural areas. Also you need to make it easier for people to earn gold coins. Because most of us have been playing this game for years and still have not gotten any gold coins.

New update is great but it might as well have totally killed the go plus device. Update with the newest version. Really annoying bug I’m hoping it’s a bug at least. Every time you transfer or rename a Pokémon it always jumps back to the top of the list instead of staying where you were. Very annoying and time wasting change having to scroll all the time. I really like the changes in the new update. The weather pattern thing is great. The button push charge move in gym battles is a huge improvement. The spawn rates have improved. Overall a really great update. However, it has basically killed any usefulness the go plus device had. The catch rate wasn’t great before, but at least it was acceptable for what it was. That definitely changed with the update. With the weather feature causing affected Pokémon to be higher cp the plus is even worse. You just can’t catch an almost maxed out anything with a regular ball. I would suggest what I think would be a fairly easy fix. Maybe have the game automatically start a catch attempt with a suggested ball instead of a regular one every time. Ie... if it pops up and I see the circle yellow I switch to a great ball. Red goes to ultra balls. Have the game/go plus be smart enough to do the same thing. I have huge stockpiles of great and ultra balls so I’d rather the plus use those to improve the catch rate.

Awesome game!. Very fun, I’m glad i downloaded it. One bug I encountered though, is that the Pokémon were like white orbs of light, or weren’t really loading in. It stayed like that for a while, and wouldn’t even let me get in the game without having to re log into the account. I did eventually grab the password and got back in! I would also like to mention that there should be more ways to get coins. Most of the gyms (even if my teams color, blue) won’t let me place a Pokémon there, so I haven’t been able to earn any coins, so when I run out of the ball thingys, I have to wait for the next day to get more. ALSO!!!! Could there maybe be more ways to interact with other players? I don’t know anybody who also plays Pokémon go I’m lonely while playing. Also, I would advise being careful while playing. I promised myself I would always be aware of my surroundings while playing while moving around, but the other day I tripped on a sideway that was uneven because I got so absorbed 😂 Anyways, I highly recommend this game for any Pokémon enjoyers new and old! I myself am new to the Pokémon community and this is the only Pokémon game I have. I love it and I can’t wait to catch more Pokémon! Thanks for reading my review!!!!!! :D

Incompetent Company. The game is fun, however their system for getting rid of cheaters also attacks and punishes honest players. Me, my husband and 5 kids all play together. They did a ‘blanket ban’ last month and he got a warning - no explanation and no reasoning given. Now, yesterday they did another server wide cheater purge and he was flagged again. We have petitioned the company to review his account and tell us exactly what it is he is being flagged for - but we only get automated responses. No help. There is no person to talk to, no phone number, only in game automated responses after a 24+ hour wait. We have asked repeatedly for them to look into his account and welcomed them to - my husband is not cheating and has not gone against their terms of service - but they refuse to actually investigate and reverse the wrongful act. Their is a complete lack of presence from customer service at all, and their actions of doing a simple ‘blanket ban’ that also wrongfully bans people is unjustified. Their algorithm obviously doesn’t work, many users claimed they were wrongfully banned because of using iPhones and an older operating system - which my husband does - but they still refuse to look into the situation further, let alone letting us talk to an actual person. Now my husband is unable to play with our children and they don’t know why. This is completely unjustified and a terrible way to treat players.

Fun moments equal disappointment. I’ve been with this game since 2016 and it’s been fun. Don’t get me wrong I’ve experienced a lot of enjoyable moments and probably still will. I’ve seen players concerns about the cap on remote raids and the catching difficulties. I’m on the road work wise and life wise. When I’m a passenger it shouldn’t limit me from playing the game and I feel this game does that. Multiple moments where I use a razz berry and a curved excellent throw with an ultimate just to have the Pokémon break the first ding and flee. Areas I’ve lived at there’s not enough people raiding so I usually remote raid with friends. This ties into the unavailability of Pokémon in the area so I raid. Meaning if I can only get 3 remote raids a day with a possibility of catching only 1 out of the 3 that’s time wasted. That’s what this has turned into. I think it’s toxic just my opinion but I know players who’ve played for years that share the same grief. Would be nice if the devs would work harder to enhance the experience rather than trying to limit those who don’t live in super populated cities where exclusive events occur mostly. At this point I feel likes it’s catering to an elite few and it’s just a game. Don’t make it difficult. I’ve had my ups and downs with this and I hate to see it go down the drain further.

Disconnected from player base and buggy makeup events. I have been playing Pokémon go in and off since 2016 and with the recent changes to remote raiding infuriates me, but what makes matters worse is this company refuses to acknowledge their player base. After my awful 2022 Pokémon go fest experience that I had paid money for ninantic refused to do anything for the bugs and issues they were having. As a result I had to go to apple to ask for a refund (fyi this was a common issue amongst players losing out on money and not getting something that was promised bc of glitches). Fast forward to now the changes of remote raiding is just plain rude and shows how much ninantic is unwilling to adapt and listen to their fanbase. This isn’t 2016 anymore and times are changing. In order for a business to grow they must adapt and listen to their consumers wants and needs however with ninantic it is falling on deaf ears and they just refuse to listen to their fan base. This game has resorted back to in person events which excludes rural and disabled players and has forced others to cheat by faking their location to bypass the remote raiding limit. The fact that one has to cheat now to enjoy the game is unacceptable and explains exactly how the company feels about their fanbase, and as with all companies now days it comes down to $$$. Stay away from this game if you are considering it until they start listening to their fans again. Google #hearusniantic

Amazing game for everyone. I have been playing this game for a long time. And I now realize all the great things about it. Pokémon go is a very easy game to pick up and play all around. You can meet new people and overall have a great time with your friends. It is also very easy to progress through the game. You really only need some time if you want to progress. There is also constant updates to keep the game fresh. I also have not experienced to much lag or bugs that was not already fixed. Pokémon go is completely free. I have played this game and not spent a single penny on it and I can match up to the people who have spent a lot of money on the game. Pokémon go also encourages its player to go outside by using eggs that you need to walk to hatch or the Pokémon that spawn in different areas. Pokémon go also makes sure that it’s player knows whit is safe if the weather is looking kinda bad it will remind you to stay save, when you log in it gives you a reminder to look around at your surroundings, and if it feels you are going to fast like in a car it will ask you if you are the passenger and if you say you are it will leave you alone for a while.

Good, but limited now. This game is great. It is fun and does get you out, but some changes have occurred which have really made the game less fun. First, there is really no way to get coins, which allow you to play, without buying them (you can get some things you need within the game but it cripples your ability to play much). So now you have to pay to play more than just the minimum. Next, there is no longer any incentive to fight to capture a gym or to hold one. You can get 50 coins per day by holding a gym - but there isn’t anything you can buy for 50 coins in the game. For instance, an incubator, which lets you hatch an egg, costs 150 coins. And that’s it. You don’t get any points or experience beyond just practice fighting and you Pokémon’s are stuck in the gym until someone takes it over - which there isn’t much incentive to do. I’ve had Pokémons sit there for days waiting for someone to take the gym. I’ve noticed players now no longer support their pm’s in the gym if they are under attack and some players put in very week pm’s so they don’t have to waste resources to revive. As more players figure this out, fighting for and holding gyms will become a thing of the past. And people without money to spare will find the game frustrating and limited. So sad, because it really was a great, community game once.

Pokémon IS and FOREVER WILL BE my life. This game is amazing, fun and encourages a healthy lifestyle! If you didn’t grow up on Pokémon then you missed out big time I’ve played every game and had every card when I was young and this particular game just brings me back to those good days when I was always happy and consistently grinding for better Pokémon to beat all my friends. You can of course play it for free but their is also in app purchases and some pretty good deals come around so if you are looking to spend minimal amounts of money like me that is possible! This is an awesome game for family’s to go for walks or hiking/camping or just exploring in general. I even play when walking around city’s shopping! I mean I know we have all traveled to New York or LA “or any local city’s around you” just to explore/shop/eat at good restaurants and spend time with friends and or family for the day. Well there is lots of good rewards gyms opportunities to meet local players and battle or trade and some cool spawns in those areas generally this game will help you pass time and enjoy yourself and your cute little monsters and develop competitive relationships with friends that’s always fun I HIGHLY recommend it!

Great Fun!!!. First let me say that I’m 53 years old, so I’m most likely not the average player of this game. I first became interested in the world of Pokémon back in 1998, when my older children discovered the TV show. Because of their heavy interest in all things Pokémon I took interest as well, trying to be a good dad. I invested HEAVILY in the card game, took the kids to weekend tournament each week, even became our local gym leader (because I was one of the rare adults who knew Pokémon as well as the children). Now we flash forward almost 20 years later an I’ve re-entered the world of Pokémon through Pokémon Go! The game is so well laid out, with quick and easy to learn game aspects, even for a newby to Pokémon. The best part of the game is that it’s design encourages the players to get out and move around. To walk and explore your town or city. Since every park, mall, restaurant, or store may be a hotspot for a new breed of Pokémon you’ve yet to catch. I’ve even been able to get my wife playing the game. Which says a lot since she almost totally avoided stuff back when our older children were heavily into the Pokémon world. This game is by far one of the best, most fun and addictive games I’ve ever played. Once you start you’ve “GOTTA CATCH EM ALL”!!!
