Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature!
Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side.
Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!
Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.
Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.
Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym
As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own!
It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

All these reviewers are negative Nidorans. I love this game. And if you like Pokémon, you will too 🙂

If you use a Pokémon GO Plus, don’t update your iPhone to iOS 11. Your button presses will be delayed or ignored by the app entirely. Very frustrating.
needs more stops in rural areas
Great games but you should give everyone one chance to change their team
50 coins a day is the max that i can earn a day? That’s POINTLESS especially if I spend an entire day grinding to put Pokémon on 15+ gyms that day. If I put as much time into the game as I have I want to be REWARDED. I have no legendaries because it’s impossible to do by yourself. And now, not enough of my friends play cause they left the game, and it’s a small town. I never have coins for bag or item upgrades, cause i earn coins at a molasses rate due to a EXTREMELY low cap you have set that should be more in the 150 coin range. Niantic, you guys have failed to see what Pokémon Go has become, you don’t seem to get what the people actually want, and you seem like greedy money mongering nerds. I can see why many of my friends no longer play this game. They’re frustrated and bored. Tons of effort = very little reward towards things you actually need. I know you need funds to support a game but you’re practically forcing people into buying coins or the like. If they don’t, it’s a tedious, frustrating grindfest that isn’t rewarding. No one wants that. Stop it. Change the coin cap to something reasonable and my review will likely change accordingly.
I have been waiting for the day I could catch Pokémon off my phone during my everyday life! This game is it!!! Niantic has done a wonderful job building this game. It has some issues but the company has done a fine job working with its community of players to fix them.
Do your creators of Pokémon GO I think you should add an update that you can buy Pokémon candy with pokeycoins(pretty sure that’s how it’s spelled) you could make a searching system that you type in the name of the Pokémon and it searches the pokey candy for you sincerely I will not State my name do of privacy .
Was fine at first. Then, by accident, I deleted it. When I downloaded it again and my account was super glitchy.
Give us iOS 8 support or old iPhone users will quit. Also this game is getting less playable with every update. Now that raids require so many people to appear spontaneously at the same time and are shorter duration, it's harder to play, especially in rural or suburban areas. Why did you end the raids so early. Pokémon go is a 24/7 game. I missed being able to run to a Dragonite in the middle of the night in a dark park and I would be sure that over 100 people would show up. Now you're just slowly churning the player base. Give us back the ability to earn 100 coins a day. Gyms are pointless now. I used to go to extremely remote places just to ensure my Pokémon lasts 6 months but now I'm hoping exactly one gets knocked out every day. I want iOS 8 support back now or I quit.
I have loved this game since the beginning. At home I collect Pokémon cards and I already have a large collection. To those who like adventure and fun then Pokémon Go would be the best game for you.
This game is so good but it doesn’t really let me walk but I’m fine because it stills let me Cath Pokémon
Since AMERICANS changed their time, our raids have been finishing at 7PM in Melbourne, Australia!!!! Please fix this- it’s sunny and summer time here- we want to raid later than 7pm
I just recently got the new iPhone X and it’s not tracking my location properly and it continuously is coming up with gps error, love the game , hope you guys can help me out
I'm totally addicted to pokemon go but I'm hoping it will be updated for the iPhone X?! 😃🙏
I played this game for over a year, an absolute fan - but then, my email address was moved from the Google Domain to Office 365 and Niantic won’t let me log back in. There are other people in the world who don’t have a gmail address- very disappointing Niantic. If you want more players give those who have a huge amount of saved game time the ability to log in using other methods.
No PvP or Trading... Yet.
Seriously niantic, I have waited long enough for the raid pass and after raiding a lot of sponsored gyms that HAVE an ex raid taking place, I never get one while spoofers do Fix your this now
I do not have this game yet because I do not like some of the things that are going on 1. You really need to put the rest of gen 3 in. 2. You need to add trading in soon because I saw in the first trailer for the game and it showed trading, but you don’t have trading available yet. 3. You should make pvp available because sometimes battling in the gyms can be a little bit challenging. 4. I want mew and Celibi to be in the game because you already have most gen 1 and 2 legendaries. I hope you do this soon.
Starters are hard asf to get. And can barely get any raid pokemon with goldras catches. Traaaash
I love this game but now it’s wanting to use google.com that allows the app and website to share information about me and that’s NOT HAPPENING! I don’t know what that can do to me. Get in my photos? My contacts? My Facebook? My text messages? No thank you.
I work at a boarding school for disadvantaged young adults. They are not allowed personal vehicles, so for the most part they are stuck on campus. Pokémon spawn pretty well, but there is no gym or pokestop within walking distance. As a result, most new students eventually just give up and stop playing. I wrote to Niantic asking for a gym/pokestop placement to remedy the situation, but all I got back automatically was the stock “We are not accepting requests for new gyms at this time, but be sure to check out your local parks!” from their website. To be clear, I’m not upset that they said no, I’m upset that they didn’t even bother to read the message. With that level of customer support, I’m done with them, and they don’t deserve further business from my students.
Haven’t seen a single revive drop since their last ‘update’ introducing new costumes instead of fixing existing issues
This game is a shame to the Pokémon franchise. It’s a shameless cash grab. There’s no good reason to keep playing unless you have a group of friends who you can spend 8 hours a day playing the game with. I’ve loved Pokémon ever since I was little, I grew up watching the anime, and some of the first games I played were Pokémon games. This game was supposed to make everyone who wanted to be become a Pokémon trainer. Instead, we are all just Pokémon collectors. There’s no skill involved and no training. We need PvP battles that give us a reason to build a good team of Pokémon. We need to be able to trade so you can get rare Pokémon from other regions that most of us are never gonna get to go. Sadly, everything I’ve said is not new. Niantic isn’t listening.
I used to love this game I decided to reget it but ever since I got it this morning I can't play for two second without it asking if I'm a robot I've decided to quit and never look back on a game that actually at once made me feel like I was a trainer since I can't have fun playing the game I have no use in keeping it
Anything faster than walking will place you on the nearest road. Avatar stops moving, you have restart the game to get your avatar moving again - losing your progress and any Pokémon you may have been tracking. Many others. Most all “bugs” are obvious attempts to prevent cheating, but here is the thing, you make the game play MUCH worse.
