Pokémon GO just introduced a new research feature that encourages Trainers to explore the world by completing a variety of objectives with the opportunity to earn helpful rewards and discover powerful Pokémon.
Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch.
Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered!
Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away!
Search far and wide for Pokémon and items
Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items.
Catching, hatching, evolving, and more
As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger.
Compete in epic Gym battles
You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers.
Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses
A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own!
It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await!

Niantic has ruined the game for thousands of players if not tens of thousands with the red and black shadow ban warning. So many local players on iOS have been banned and are legit players. So many accounts have been banned. So much money will be lost. I just bought a $50 iTunes card to put onto my account and niantic won’t be seeing it anymore. I changed my mind, I have deleted the app. Goodbye.
When this game was crazy popular and well, ALOT of pidgey and rattata has spawned at my house. Now barely any spawn at my house
With niantics continued war on its handicapped players the game basically becomes in playable plus they are screenshooting your phone.
Very little real gameplay in this - only really of use if you are a collector Don’t waste your money here
Had potential to be a good game but they decided to not be greedy
Poor communication with players
Will always play Pokémon but won’t ever play another Niantic game
Big fan of this game.. enjoy playing still👍 BUT can you please make it so we can get rid of event pokemon.. ie.. ive got a tonne of event pikachus i can’t get rid of and they just take up space😫 Other than that its All good👌
You know exactly why you're getting this star.
Always going down always locking up always an excuse get you s**t together Niantic your happy to the money boooooooooooooo
Pretty much a city game, not much to do if you live in rural areas.
Game is glitchy and they don’t care what the player wants. They are more concerned about their sponsors than the player base so just don’t play and let the rot like they let their players.
I love pogo. This game is amazing. Absolute best mobile game out there.
I'm trying to run for my eggs, but why does it say I'm going to fast? Isn't that a good thing?
El juego esta dando muchos problemas para entrar. Por mis hermanos caídos. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I don’t normally write reviews. Since I play Pokémon Go so much (and I hope that Niantic actually reads reviews), I decided to state an inconvenience my family has with a game that we all love. My entire family, and several people in our community, have noticed that our Pokémon Go reverts to something that looks like code every now and then. I would include a picture, if possible. This same glitch states that all of my Pokémon are shiny Pikachu and that they all have 99 CP. Every time this occurs, we have to restart the game to fix it. Please help fix this problem Niantic. Thank you.
For a company that has lots of gullible people practically throwing money at them, you figure Niantic would hire a US based support team, but no. You email these morons for “support” and end up with cookie-cutter responses and zero help in the end. Hey Niantic, here’s what I think of your “support” team. <^> ‘_’ <^>
They claim equality for everyone but that just líes... If you don’t waste a lot of time and money you don’t get anywhere...
Failed to get game data from server.
This is the worst game ever!!! I can’t move the I can’t click on the Pokémon and it is extremely laggy on my brand new iPhone 10. Does anyone have a answer
Love standing outside a church or a shop for 10 minutes, swipe swipe swipe, nothing. Overall I like it. Great app but Jesus the amount it stalls is ridiculous. 10 minutes spent trying to just get a pokestop to spin once. Fun, but beyond frustrating.
Not worth playing now due to all the spoofers
Wont let me log in with my trainer club account just infinite loading does anyone know how to fix ??
Po-go has banned legitimate players since last update, costs too much money and time
I can’t get into the because of the new update
System should be in place for an online connection if you are the only one that’s at raid boss really angry about it too seeing as Latias and latios are some of my favorites
It would be great to change the team at least once, like you can with your name. An option to add friends would be great to. That you can trade and fight with each other and see your friends on the map (with an option to turn off visibility)
Why did you discontinue Pokémon go for iPhone 5 and lower? Now I can't play it and I lost my daily streak on pokestops and Pokémon. If you see this review, Niantic, please bring it back on to iPhone 5 because I really enjoy it. Other than that it's really fun to play.
Do Niantec even have quality testing!? Every version has some bug or another. I’m surprised it constantly gets approved though the App Store! It’s a fun game despite minimal graphics. But the constant battle with the app hanging and quitting on launch are a huge pain. These issues even make it on to the Apple Watch version too! Previous issues on the iPhone version included scrolling back to the top of lists when making changes, muted background audio, hanging when entering gyms, locking the display when energy saver is enabled, and plenty more. These are not small oversights, they hugely impact the enjoyment of the game. Get it together man!
Good but where the gen 4 at??!!
Inconsistent performance, and offer very limited support.
Game just got to a new level with quests!
You should really include a fake gps option or at least let your players navigate a small area. It’s bull that people are cheating at the game. Eg it’s 2am and I’m heading home and drive past a few gyms that are in an area closed off to the public at night and people are clearly battling. If you can’t beat the hackers or cheats at least level the playing field.
The new graphics are the worst of you think the pixels are realistic then you are a very wrong Overall I love the game but plz change the graphics back to the way it was
Pogo has always gotten better until the latest update. If I wanted old school graphics I’d play old school games. The latest upgrade destroyed the game, they need to revert back in my opinion.
I’m sorry I’m dropping my review to a 1 due to the shoddy looking 8 Bit (new graphics) which looks really bad. Unless we all played on a game boy back in the year 2000 then yes. Now is a no no. Bring it back
Please add trading, the game is great it just needs pokémon trading
I love this game. Since downloading I’ve become more active and made new friends. Bugs and glitches every now and then but if you stick it out until the next update it’s totally worth it. I’m addicted!
when I link my sports watch, I want it to use the GPS in my watch to use Pokemon go
Awesome to play and a lot less bugs.
