Love the pictures BUT not the constant price increase. I’ve been using this app for 2 years and have always been happy with the outcome. When I just started using Krome they were about 4 dollars a picture for a basic edit. Now the most basic edit is 9.99 (and I’m a premium member!). They have more than doubled in fees and even with the one “retouch” if you are not happy with something, the price is a lot higher than other editors. Sadly, I will be looking for another company that is more reasonable with their fees.

Very Poor work !!!. I used twice and I was happy with the result then I asked for a simple enhance and my original was much better they just adjust the color and size and not what I asked for . And their service has decrease a lot very cheaply I asked for a re edit and they are charging and extra fee even when the first order suppose to have warranty. I feel that bey charge me for a job they didn’t do and if you asked to do it right the charge you again !!

Awesome Ideas and Photo’s. I take dozen’s of pictures in a day and don’t always have the best background, sometimes your picture is almost perfect but you have 1 person or items that just doesn’t look right. Being able to merge pictures is a huge help to get a complete fixture. It super easy and they make your photo’s look AWESOME.

Don’t know photoshop? Don’t worry!. Found this app at 2am when I couldn’t sleep...the first submission is free so I gave it a try...geez...if I would have known it was this easy I’d have selected a better photo!!! Not sure how the pricing goes, but I do know that I don’t know photoshop and this would have taken me hours to figure out. Thanks Krome, we’re gonna have FUN with this one!!!

Slow process. Very slow to get your pictures edited.. before they were cheaper and you would have them the next day

Stunning!. I can’t believe how beautiful my daughter’s whimsical photo came out with this app! It’s like magic on your phone and with the editing process pictures come to life! I’m going to use it for my family photos for Christmas! Vivid!

Baby Photos. This app is amazing!!!! Highly recommend 💯 They offer 1st picture free, you got nothing to lose. Try it and you will instantly fall in love. I’m a believer when this company states that they use professional photographer artist working on these photos. I wish I can upload a picture here to show you. My avocado baby on the teddy bear shelf picture is magical!!! My first app purchase will be Krome Studio❤️❤️❤️❤️

Editors do a fantastic job. I’ve used this app for the past three years to turn my photos into Christmas photos. We don’t ever make the time to take family Christmas pictures with a photographer so I usually end up using pictures that we took at thanksgiving and adding a Christmas background to them. The editors have always done a great job. My most recent photo was a little brighter than the background and originally, it looked like my daughter’s feet were missing but the editor made it Christmas Card perfect!

Really awesome app. These guys knocked it out of the park. I own a company and manage my own social media. They just made it very easy for me to have professional customized pics for our pages. They even went out of the way to do something on my first one they normally don’t do. I hope they can do it again lol.

Great great photos!. Every photo ordered has been amazing. Very convincing! They are talented. However, I hate that I feel like I'm taking a chance, in other words: when you choose a look it won't let you zoom in or study it, just for a min at least, to make sure that's what you really want! You also must pay for every photo, which makes sense for quality you get. But I didn't know that until after I loaded it! They do give you a discount the first time and offer coupon codes, which is nice. Wish they had codes for Christmas though.

53 year old photo made toook brand new!. I sent Pic to you that was over50 years old And when you completed it the editor stated that the resolution was not good and I might rather try another Pic. Knowing that this pic was over 50 years old, I was Actually satisfied with what the editor had done. However upon my comment I was encouraged to take advantage of the free re-edit. I did and was so glad I did because it turned out just beautiful! Thank you Krome!

Happy customer. I’ve submitted so many photos in the last few years they are always so nice and beautiful. I wish you could still let them decide what to do instead of picking cuz sometimes Idk what I want and they always found a way to make it perfect

Honoring my brother as a veteran.. I recently sent in a picture of my brother in an emotional veteran’s memorial ceremony. I wanted them to capture how we could honor their service to our country. They did this perfectly. I am overwhelmed with this beautiful picture they helped me by capturing respect. 💕

Unhappy. If I wouldn’t known that I had to pay for each photo to be used I would’ve never paid three dollars I feel like I just wasted three dollars and I really would like to get it back the video was very misleading it makes you think that you get to put your photo in the background and you get to edit it it doesn’t work that way why don’t you put that in the video why are you misleading customers and I’m not going to pay six dollars for every picture I can’t afford that I’m on disability I couldn’t afford the three dollars but I was Miss lead and miss guided with the video it’s a scam.😡😡😡

Misleading. After watching preview that showed up via Facebook I thought the app looked like fun. I pressed the get it button and couldn’t wait to start playing with pictures! I should have read the description rather than relying on the video representation because this was not at all what I expected. Had I known I was paying for an app that is simply an avenue to submit a photo and pay again for a person to edit your photos I wouldn’t have purchased it. Pretty disappointed. Lesson learned.

This is an amazing app. I love this app and they always do an amazing job. If your not happy with the first photo you can request a re-edit and they do such a great job. Been using the app for years. Never disappointed.

Saves my photos!. This app is my favorite! It saves all my photos from just being deleted because of one flaw. If a face a blurry, or the shadow is too dark in my photos, the Krome editors do their magic and save my photo for me that I can always have as a memory. Thank you! And this app is also a life saver when it comes to Christmas photos. If I don’t feel like going to a studio, I just upload a photo & pick a Holiday background & I’ll have an awesome photo edit ready in 3 hours that looks amazing on a Christmas card.

Amazing!!!. I just sent in a pic and chose a nice background to go with it just playing around to see what they could do with it and when I got the finished product it looked like the real deal. Addictive. I love the versatility offered with requests and backgrounds. I recommend this app to all the moms I know. It’s difficult to catch a good shot in a studio with wriggly, fussy, young kids afraid of strangers. Now you can take that great shot you got with your phone and make it even more beautiful. I have so many pictures from this app framed and hung on the wall.

Love it. I absolutely love this app. It is a great way to get professional looking photos without paying the high price of a studio. I recommend it especially if you have kids. It’s great for holiday photos, you take the picture and krome will put it on a nice background for you and everyone will think you had them professionally taken. 10/10 !

Definitely Impressed!. I'll start by saying, this app is most definitely worth a try for those of you who are here reading the reviews trying to decide whether to download or not, DO IT! You will surely be glad you did! I honestly did not really even expect my edited picture to turn out as good as it did! My original photo was a screenshot of me that my girlfriend took during a video call on snapchat, and then put a big caption right across the picture, right under my face, along with the smaller view of her in the upper right corner. Well, upon downloading Krome Studio & signing up, you're given your first photo request for free, so I figured I would kinda test them with a little bit of a challenging request, just out of curiosity to see how well it would come back, so I used the screenshot and requested that the caption be removed as well as the smaller view of her camera in the upper corner. What I got back was basically flawless & you would never have been able to tell that it was edited at all!! I was definitely impressed and will continue to use this app! As far as the Usability of the app and its design in general goes, it is very easy to understand and use, the layout is clean and simple and a pleasure to use overall!

Perfection. Anyone looking for the perfect gift , photo or just wants to have fun w there pics must try this app. Everything about it was and is a great experience. I’m on my 3rd pic and having a ball doing it. It literally can be done in 1 min or u can play around like I find myself doing just for fun.

The best. Beautiful photos delivered each time. I’ve done multiple orders by now and have not been disappointed; you’d never be able to tell these were photoshopped with the backgrounds Ive chosen. I mostly use this app for photos of my toddler.

Misleading. This app doesn’t allow you to edit your own pictures. You pick the back ground and upload your picture and someone else edits the photo and then charges you for it. The fact that you pay for the app you’d expect to be able to edit your own photos but instead you get charged more for that service. The app should be free if I am going to have to pay for someone to edit my photo anyway. Don’t waste your money you can find other apps that allow you to edit your own photos without an extra charge.

Not impressed. so far I’m not impressed with this app at all. Upon trying to decide if I wanted to spend the $1 on this app or not I read a lot of reviews and most said they received their finished picture if not at least got an email from someone about their photo within a few hours. That’s what sold me the most was that you had results within a few hours. Well not me! I sent in a photo request nearly 36 hours ago and haven’t receive anything. When I click on the chat icon to try and figure out the problem it says no ones available to chat and that I could just leave a message. If and when I finally receive my picture it has to be outstanding or I’m not using the app again and will just take my loss and delete it.

Christmas miracles can happen!. Although I have used Krome several times for fun and quirky gifts, I had an idea for a Christmas gift that seemed perfect. My niece was married a few weeks ago and she had always hoped to have my dad dance with her at her wedding. Unfortunately my dad passed away before her big day. My mom stood in for him and the dance was eloquent and touched everyone in the room with a deep sense of love for the Patriarch who had left us longing for his smile one more time. Krome was able to take a pic of my dad and superimpose him behind the pic of my mother and niece after their special dance. The translucent effect of my dad appears to be smiling at the two beautiful women that were thinking of him at that very moment. ❤️👍🏼❤️.

Love This App. I have created couple of pictures already and they are great! If you think this is free and you’re not willing to pay this isn’t for you but if you are willing to pay for some great pictures this is the app you’re looking for. There are all kinds of backgrounds and the programmers are able to make your picture totally awesome. I recommend it and I look forward to using it more.

Seriously?!. First I wasn’t too sure but figured with the first one being free I’ll give it a try. My picture turned out absolutely amazing!! I have it being printed right now and then it will go onto the wall. I love it and can’t wait to have more pictures done :)

Great App. After sometime playing around with backgrounds and previewing my pictures, I finally placed my first order today and I’m pleased beyond words with final result. Thank you very much. Great app, beautiful background and fast and reliable service.

Pricing consistency.. The reason for three stars is because I love the app but the prices aren’t consistent. When I updated the app after about 12 months of not updating it and using an old version where not all the backgrounds would load , the prices all changed. Everything used to be $5.99 per photo, no matter what , but once I updated the app , everything is now $9.99. If I had known I never would have updated , even with the app crashing and never loading backgrounds 50% of the time. I’ve had some really really good picture edits !!! Some have been better than others but overall have been very pleased with the service , but where is the consistency ?

Kromestudio. My pictures turned out amazing! This app will be a for sure hit. I have always wanted to get my sons pictures professionally done but never had the time to do so and now it’s as simple as going in this app. It’s beyond affordable and the pictures are a wow!

Best Christmas photo ever!. I am very particular about the photos we use for our Christmas cards (we won a photo contest last year with our card). I was a bit skeptical at first but for $6, it was worth a shot. They completely exceeded my expectations! The designer suggested a better background than I originally chose and it turned out fantastic! I’m so impressed with the end result and I can’t wait to send them out!! I’ve since subscribed and ordered 2 other photos that I’m also extremely happy with! I love this app!

Love this photo app!. Many backgrounds to choose from and if you need any corrections you can’t figure out, someone is fix it usually in a few hours. I have the most fun making photos to make people smile!

Beyond satisfied!. I cannot believe how wonderful this app is and more importantly, the designers. I had 2 separate pictures...one with my grandma and her sister and the other picture had their 3rd sister. I needed to add the third sister to the photo with the other 2 sisters to “look” like they took the picture together. Well, these designers came through with their brilliance and came up with a fantastic picture of the 3 sisters even though they weren’t all in the same picture. I’m truly amazed and impressed. I’m a customer for life no doubt! Super awesome service!

Great pictures. Love all the picture backgrounds. Pictures always come out centered and look awesome! When you can’t go out and get pictures done, you can get them done all on your phone.

Horrible App. Not only do you have to pay for this app you have to pay for each picture, $7 or $3. The preview for the design feature is inaccurate and the enhance feature doesn’t even have a preview. AND you really need to take pictures specifically for the background you want. It’s not like you can scroll through your pics and then find a background to match. It takes way too much time if you can even find one to match the background. This app is a rip off!

Addicted. The picture I chose and the original background wouldn't go together because of the angle of my picture. After I sent in my original request I received a email about an hour later explaining this to me. Since I had never done formal pictures for my daughters 1st birthday I really wanted the picture I picked so I put it in the hands of the Krome team. They were able to give me a birthday background with my original picture that looks completely natural. I love it. I have found a new addiction. Thank you Krome!

Not a good app to download. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. When they work on your photos AFTER you pay for it.. they deliver it looking nothing like their example and they don’t include the whole picture you pay for. There are better apps that do the same thing for cheaper just research it Update.. BEWARE these people send endless emails to you once you purchase the app.. they NEVER offered my money back they only request you change your review. WARNING! ⚠️ they will harass you non stop. I’m about to call BBB and file report

I am super pleased! Creativity at its best!. As an artist and photographer who often has had to do this work myself, I am elated to find this app. What a time saver, especially when you don’t have the time to create something fast for a person to see what can be done with a photo that has an awful background or a background that does not compliment the actual photograph. I’ll be using this whenever I need to get something done and don’t have the time myself!

Very misleading app. Very misleading app, doesn’t tell you that you have to pay for every photo, I thought you pay $.99 for the app and you can add backgrounds to any photo all you and save them to your camera roll like the millions of apps out, if that was the case why you don’t make the app free then if you have to pay, because you figure if someone doesn’t continue with the app, atleast you made $.99 on them right, go out of business, should not be stealing people money like that charging for a app that people have to pay money anyways to use! Very disappointed I need my $.99 back I don’t want to continue!

Good Designers. Convenient for startup companies in need of making advertisements. Designers are willing to do their best to satisfy their customers. Have made more than 20 photo projects with them and haven't been disappointed so far. Good Designers.

60th Anniversary Photo. My parents have always been disappointed that their wedding was in the church basement because the church itself had burned down. For their 60th Anniversary Party my mom jokingly said, can you edit out the hanging electric cords and my dad requested drywall. :) Who knew there was an ap out there that could? The editor changed the background and at my request kept the candles and ferns so it still resembles their original picture. Love love love it!!! Thanks so much Krome Studio!!

Free are-edit. This app will make sure you are completely satisfied with your photos. They will not stop until you’re very happy. I love this app also... because I’m not a professional photographer and this helps me out a lot. But I’m definitely a photographer in my own way. I really do recommend this app if you’re into photography.

Great Find. I stumbled on this on my Facebook page so I decided to give it a try. The results were outstanding. The backgrounds are very unique and the work is professional. My only complaint is I had 3 different pictures done and each one was more expensive. I don’t understand the pricing. I knew my second would be more because they wanted me to be able to sample the first product to see how I liked it and I appreciate that. I don’t understand why my second and third were different prices. All of my projects were just putting a subject on a background and were accepted as received. I would like to see prices for backgrounds enhancements and other options so I could know going into the photo how much it would be. But all of that being said, the work is absolutely beautiful and I look forward to purchasing more of them. Please work out that kink if possible 😊

Awesome app. At first I was skeptical about this app, submitted my first picture thinking I will never see it again, well was I in for a surprise, the photo came out excellent especially with the design I chose, I was so excited to share the photos on Facebook, I immediately printed out some 8x10s, I also couldn't wait to submit another picture, again the quality and the image I chose was excellent, I highly recommend Krome studios, the price was not that bad either, you get to pick your theme and within an hour you have you photo, love them.

Love!!. I have paid a photographer $250 for a hour shoot and 2 edits. He was very unprofessional and when I finally received my edits I hated them. My theme for my wedding is sunflowers so I wanted my photos to appear as if I was in a sunflower field. I was skeptical about submitting my photo on here because I didn’t know if it’ll be right or not. Long story short a few hours and $9 later I received this beautiful photo. I am so very grateful for this app and cannot wait to order more photos !

Always amazing!. All my pictures has turned out amazing! Some jobs are quick turnaround time of a couple of hours and some the next day. Regardless they’ve all been amazing!

Be aware. I have been using this app since it came out where yes the prices have totally changed and it’s a good app just like the other review says the consistency of the pricing is not at all pleasing and I can’t even get I to mine to do a background change on my photo it won’t let me renew my membership and I’ve tried the uninstall and reinstall but I’m really disappointed I really liked this app if there’s any other out there like it can anyone refer me to any? And for this app just be careful they change it up on what you can n can’t do n definitely the pricing. Was a loyal customer but now can’t get into my account membership.......

Awesome. I use a lot of themed photos as an influencer and brand ambassador when creating canvases and photos for social media posting. I was pleased with the turn out on this particular photo because I was wondering what they would do with the hand that was kind of blurred - it appears they added a bouquet of flowers to make it fit beautifully into the scene and the hand wasn’t seen at all. Brilliant. I expected the whole background to be more it to be more clear and crisp and colorful - to pop in color,but I am pleased nonetheless less with what they did as far as coloring/filling in the areas around my actual photo to completely remove the background of my original photo. Love the app already There was a second photo that I submitted for changes so that I can see if it is possible to move my image to the place that it was originally in when I saw the preview. While I’m still awaiting the changes, I was absolutely floored at the amazing job the designers did with their own recommendations of where it may have fit better into the scene. I can’t stop looking at this photo. It’s flawless, the work they did. I’m so impressed!!

Brilliant Concept in Editing. Easy to use but you must be patient. To see your final Kromed photograph might take a few days but it's well worth the wait. The final image will astound you and exceeded all my expectations. This is a fabulous app.

First off you have to pay $2.29 just to download this app, then $6.99 for every pic you take and I wasted my money cause the first pic I tried I didn't even get to order it and it said thank you for your order we will let you know when it's ready I DIDNT EVEN GET TO EDIT ANYTHING!! Don't purchase this app. Do not purchase this app it is a rip off. You pay for an app that does nothing but set you up to get charged for them to edit your pics.

Pleasantly surprised. Was very pleased with my first photo order. It was done so well and my re-edit request to add Santa hats to the photo was done so quickly. Love the app. Think the price range is a tad high for one photo especially since it’s in US funds so I paid ~$12 for one photo. If you wanted multiple photos it could get expensive.

Only one photo included then you have to buy a plan. I did not know you only get one photo with the app. Definitely not worth it to pay to get the app and the. Have to pay for the service which is 10-20$ per month

Ripped off. You pay to have access to a designer you email your content to, who then edits the photos and you have to pay each time. Complete rip off!

Beautiful work. Highly recommended. As a photographer I know how difficult and time consuming it is to edit photos. So far their editors have done a great job for a very low price.

Krome is fraudulent. The app sucks. It’s misleading,you pay $6.99 for a app that you think you can do cool things with. But every time u want to use it, you have to pay for it. Fun Photography. I submitted my photo that I wanted done and when they were finished I was blown away. I’m going through my other photos and planning on having many more done. Buy this App! You will be very happy you did.

Good. Great quality pics but u have to pay for every edit with the $1 download u do get one free but I doubt I would continue to pay for more pictures just because of the price the pictures are great.

Facebook ads misleading. The Facebook ad that I saw about this particular app leads you to believe that you will be able to make the edits shown in the video on the app itself. It does not say anything about submitting a design and requesting someone to do the design for you. It also does not explain that you will have to pay for these designs in addition to the price you pay for the app.

Professional prefect look. This app/company is totally great!! I’ve used them fir the past 4years to do my Christmas photo they look perfect and we have to crop people in or out looks professional!! Love this app

Worst app ever. I’ve used this app a few times . The first few times I received amazing results . This was over a year ago . Recently, the quality has not only gone down, but they don’t listen to your requests. If they make a mistake, they do not make it a priority to fix yet take over 48 hours to fix . They make mistake after mistake all the while charging top dollar . Very very disappointed to say the least !! And yes this is all in my opinion!

Amazing!. Fixed a picture of my son. He looked adorable but the background was a disaster. Can’t even tell it isn’t the original background. So pleased! So happy I discovered this ap.

The quality and professionalism exceeded my expectations !. ... just five short months ago I lost my 30 year old grandson to sudden cardiac arrest ... I absolutely love what the designer was able to create with his picture... I will treasure it always ❤️

False advertisement. Purchased what I had thought it was and app where I could edit/ photo shop, but turns out that for every edit I wanted to get fix there was an additional fee and the picture was not properly cropped because the app does it on its own. Won’t let you adjust the image accordingly to your own liking. There’s other apps that are the same but only show previews. Not worth the 4.99 you pay.

Watermark on paid version until you submit. I paid for the full version. There is a Watermark on paid version until you submit the order. Complete waste for people who do not want printed pictures. Deleted app after I wasted time playing with the poses and backgrounds only to realize there is a per picture fee. Complete waste of time and money for online picture users.

Krome is fun, but a little pricey!. I love going through the Krome look books around the holidays. They make the photoshopped project look so real! I have some fun and adorable photos of my son thanks to Krome! I would do more Krome photos but each design is usually about $7 a piece, so it adds up quick.

A little misleading. Love the app just wish it would tell you that after you pay 4.99 you still have to pay to modify your pictures . So I don’t understand what your initial fee is for if you still have to pay to edit your photos .

Quick and wonderful. I love the pics I get from Krome. And it's so personal, if I want an edit, they do it for free and I get a personal email asking if it's better now. They reward you with coupons and free photos sometimes too! Great app!

This is a scam. Dont fall for it!. This is all lie! You have to pay just for one picture and everytime you have a picture to edit, you have to pay again! Ridiculous!! I was just planning to try it on the first picture! Then it shows submitted like what?!? Submitted and no credit already? Like what?! So I just paid just like that? Definitely not happy!!!!! What did I just do?!?

What???. What did I pay $4 for? I thought buying this app allowed me to make the pics myself. It’s pointless to pay for it and then have to pay to send a picture to them and have them make the picture. False advertisement for sure. Very impressed!. They were able to combine two different photos into one so that both my boys were smiling in the same photo! I was amazed at the results!! Definitely using this app again!!

Pic bait. I am unhappy. I paid 5.99 for the app thinking I could cut and paste my photos onto different backgrounds myself. With this app you have to pay an additional amount for every picture except the 1st. Unless your looking for professional work this app is not for you. For the leisurely picture goer like me cut&paste app is much better. For sure heck I’m not paying for any additional charges. I wish I could get my 6 bucks back.

I like it.. Got the app for .99 . The first photo I did was free the second one cost 2.99 not bad cause I liked the photos. They have promo codes and promotions when you share a photo.

OMG Amazing. I love my first picture that they did for me. I wasn’t sure what background I should pick from the pre-sets, I sent to them, they picked one out for me perfectly, fast return too. Will do the subscription with them.

I spent money on this product and it requires more money to make additional photos, while other apps ask you for a time purchase this app requires you to make additional purchase after making the initial purchase. I sent my money back refund!!! SCAM “We apologize, but we don’t give refunds to the original form of payment. Refunds are given in the form of credits to your Krome account to use on a future order.”

Solar eclipse!!. Love this app!! I sent a picture of my son at school watching the solar eclipse and sent a background picture. It turned out great.. I’ve used this app lots in the year and it’s amazing how realistic this background looks .

Good editing service. Price is slightly steep for monthly service or pay as I go but I always get what i ask for and they will keep trying for free until I am satisfied. I like that part.

Should be cheaper!. For a subscription app $5.00 is expensive! Does not, easily, show it is a pay as you go app. Feel cheated! The cost of the app should be free. The cost is high for the quality. And also not clear that every photo will cost you. This is a per pay photo app, also the backgrounds are very limited!

So Easy. Instead of spending hours to use my limited photo editing skills and ending really frustrated that I can’t get what I want. I pay a fee and it’s done for me exactly they way I wanted it.

Love it. Liked the older version with different cost options better and I’m having some issues with some features recently (the signature option for example never works lately) but overall I’ve enjoyed using this.
