Love this. I do wish there was a reverse mode though.. By reverse mode, I mean where it highlights a country and you have to give the correct answer. Because some countries I only remember the location by seeing the name, so it would help me learn better if I could play a version where I have to remember the name based on its location. Just a want. This game is still great. Love the custom map ability especially.

Great Resource Pls Read😀. I’m a student 👩‍🎓. I used this to help me with a history quiz. I did it online in class and when I came home 🏠 I didn’t work, so I bought the app. Works great 👍. Really helping me improve. I love ❤️ the practice part because it is so less stressful. NOTES 📝 (improvements) - I wish you could share with other people - I wish there was a setting where it would leave the spot clear when you answered it like you didn’t answer - I wish you could skip ⏭️ different questions - I wish you could add cities 🌃, bodies of water 💧, and countries all together like my quiz will be - I wish once you did the review and got it right on the first try it would become green like the other ones and you could keep doing it until you got a 100% 💯 Overall: It’s a great 👍 resource. They changed this app too much. I am a teacher who has been using this app and paying for it for 3 years. When Geoguessr took over, they changed several features in the custom quiz functionality so that it has severely limited my ability to use it in the classroom. I have reached out to them several times and my concerns fall on deaf ears. It’s not correct business practice to change the functionality of a paid service like that. I am now not receiving the service I signed up for. And when I asked if there is a person I can speak to on the phone, they told me no. This is very poor customer service. That said, the format of the quizzes is excellent and I wish they would reply to my emails with more of an attitude of fixing the issues than telling me that’s just the way it is now. It makes no sense and I am left paying for half the service I signed up for.

Best Geography App I could find. I tried several other geography apps, they all looked good and looked like they had a wide variety of stuff. However, once you downloaded them they had very very limited stuff available for free and you had to pay to unlock a majority of the quizzes and stuff. However, Seterra has soooo much content and I haven’t seen anything that I would have to pay to unlock. Also I don’t think I’ve seen a single ad yet either, which some other geography apps had lots of ads. This app seems to have more features and a pretty nice user interface to so I find it pretty clean and easy to navigate. I don’t think I have ever written a app review before but this was worth being the first.

Useful for learning geography. Only issue I have with the app is that my phone screen is too small, but that’s not a fault of the app. I love this both on my phone and on the website on my computer. It has NO ADS and nothing even remotely close to anything that most mobile apps have, so it’s so streamlined to use. Can’t stop using this and I love learning about geography.

The best $1.99 I've spent all year.. Yes, I know it's not even mid-January. Pros: • Very easy to use. I finally learned all the countries of Africa, the Balkans, the Lesser Antilles (sort of), and other difficult spots. • Tons of stuff to learn. I never even knew there was a Norwegian Sea. • Love the "Learn" and "Test" features. Cons: • The Caribbean states and territories are hidden waaaaaay down at the bottom of the North America list, under things like "Minor Saskatchewan Villages" and "Puddles of Detroit." Please make this easier to find. • I still haven't found out where to learn the South Pacific island nations. Hmm, Australasia? Nope. Asia? Nope. The only place I've seen to learn them is on the "153 UN States" which is too late 'cause I'm already testing myself on the rest of the world. Is that Nauru or Tonga? Oops, you got it wrong! • The app seems hypersensitive to tapping, and likes to ding me when I'm zooming in on smaller states. This evening it actually dinged me for Iran when I wasn't even touching the screen! I've actually quit tests to restart when it thinks I've tapped on Benin when I was actually tapping Guatemala.

Fun way to improve your knowledge of geography. Even though I am am adult and went through years of schooling, I still struggle a lot with basic geography. I have a hard time remembering where states and countries are located in relation to one another which makes it hard to understand current events and history. I also remember less well where people are from since I don’t contextualize it well. This app has already greatly improved my knowledge of US geography and I am looking forward to seeing improvements in my knowledge of the rest of the world as well. For the first time I feel that learning this information is possible for me.

I absolutely LOVE this app BUT. I have learned so much from this app. I truly appreciate you all so much. But I want to get the developers attention by giving this a 4 so I can raise only one complaint. I play the world quiz most of the time, and when I play on my iPhone being able to go from let’s say Argentina to the next choice being Latvia, I find that scrolling across the map is difficult to go diagonally. It seems to lock in the initial gesture of going east, or north, whereas only 10% of the time I am able to smoothly go north east without having it lock in to only be able to go east or north, if that makes sense. basically I play this so often id like to be able to improve on my speed but I have a hard time knowing if my time is improving, or if I’m faster or slower depending on the mechanics of scrolling. Excellent App But.... This honestly should be a five star review seeing as the app works well, is free, has done wonders for my knowledge of world geography, etc. etc. However, there’s a feature that could be added without (I think) too much difficulty that would make the app an even better educational tool. If when you clicked on a country a link to the wikipedia page for that country popped up under the country name, it would be that much easier to learn a little bit oh context about the country without leaving the app, which would not only make it easier to remember the country but would also deepen your knowledge just a little. It would be amazing if this could be implemented.

It’s fine.. It’s not terrible. I’ve had fun playing the app and I’ve learned a lot. I admit, before I downloaded I didn’t know anything about where the states were or where half the countries of Europe were located on a map (or that they existed!) I’m definitely fond of the fact you included cities of Massachusetts, as I’m from there and enjoyed remembering each town. However, in regards to that, I would have like to be able to customize a quiz for MA with more cities than offered. That goes for all maps. It wouldn’t be impossible to make a feature where we add our own locations because you have all the political borders. It would be difficult to screw up. Also, it would be nice to be able to alter how sensitive the screen is. I’m tired of miss clicking things and then having to restart due to no fault of my own knowledge. You have to go a ton of zooming and swiping in this app so it would just make it a lot more user friendly.

Great material!. This app has been super helpful for learning geography! It has pretty much everything I need and is very customizable. The only issue I have is the formatting is a little funny on my phone. For instance, some things at the very top of the screen are difficult to click on because of the iPhone camera island. I also wish the maps could zoom out a bit more. But like I said, overall it’s amazing! Highly recommend.

Lifesaver. For anyone interested in geography, taking AP World history, or even those wishing to eradicate the ignorance of those believing Africa to be a country, Seterra is a must have. It’s vast catalogue of countries, capital, flags, and individual provinces / states makes it easy to learn more about the earths geopolitical confundes. This app makes learning the many countries a breeze, and it’s super easy to open and play when you’re stuck waiting, I cannot recommend it enough!

Thank you so much 😊. So I first got introduced to Setara when my social studies teacher gave us a test at the beginning of the year to see what we know. So I am a straight A student and wanted something easier to study with. My social studies teacher told the class to check it out! I did excited for an opportunity to be able to study better and it worked amazingly! I loved the app so much i got it on all my devices so I can study wherever I want. I adore this app!. This app is sufficiently improving my geography skills! I have always loved geography, but needed a way to really learn it and keep it in my mind for good! Seterra is the perfect app for that. You will never regret downloading it and will never again be embarrassed when someone asks you a geography question. It is also great for kids, completely appropriate of course, no ads, and is nothing but a fun and educational app. Addicting but in a good way! 😁

The Best. I am really into Geography, and have been searching for an app like this one for a while. It has a very simple and clean design, and has a lot of content to explore. Some languages even have audio for different landmarks! This feature allowed me to learn the pronunciation of city and country names in German. This is a must if you just want one Geography app that you can rely on.

AMAZING. Omg! I love this app! Last year in school I had to take geography quizzes, and Settera is the reason my grade in that class was high. I would do Settera every morning before school for ten minutes, and be ready for the test by the end of the week. Settera is the easiest way to learn you countries, geographical features, and many more. I also absolutely love how this app has NO adds, AND it’s free! This is the best app I have added to my phone yet

Have fun and learn!. I was introduced by a friend who sent a link to the Middle East geography quiz. I took it and explored from there, eventually playing so much on my computer I decided to look for the app for my tablet. I started out with the paid version because I’d already played enough to know it was worth it for me. I love how many options there are and that I can pick and choose where to focus, when to add more, when to review, and whether to be in the learn mode or the quiz mode. I’ve made great progress in learning all the countries in the world. I’m working on capitals and states/provinces/regions as well as predominant physical features. It’s really made me notice how frequently places are mentioned in the news or in stories or just in passing. I don’t know that it’s much hurt my comprehension to not know exactly where the place being mentioned was, or what surrounded it, but it has added depth and context to my understanding now that I do know where things are happening and how those places relate to nearby or distant places where other things are happening. Great app! Not sure how often it updates, and I do find it odd that the free version I was playing on my computer has at least one quiz (identify the US states by shape) that does not appear in the paid for version. I would have thought they’d be the same, or that the paid version would offer more options if there was a difference. That’s my only negative thus far.

The Best Geography App. I’m not one to write reviews - in fact, this is the first I’ve ever written! But I realized the other day that I’m seriously lacking in the geography area and took it upon myself to learn the basics. Of the many apps I tried, this one is the winner. You can learn every country, every city, every landmark, every nickname, every flag, EVERYTHING with this app and IT’S ALL FREE. Other apps have low budget ads between rounds or make you pay unreasonable amounts of money to learn where the United Kingdom is. This app ~wants~ you to learn absolutely every aspect of geography, and it shows. You can endlessly learn with this app and it tracks your top 10 scores and times in each category so you can see your progress as you go. It’s incredibly fun… if you’re interested in learning geography, that is. I highly recommend it and I get nothing from doing so!

Really good. I love this app it’s fun and it teaches you it also shows you your top scores you can choose the 59 states and a lot more I did not know nothing about states now I know them all they also show you a learn button it’s really I love the name and me and my family could play this game to see who knows there states better thank for this app!!

Best app on the market. This app covers the most things that I’ve seen in this type of trivia category and interface is really solid. Love all of the options of things to learn from flags, territories, countries, and geographic features. PLEASE add the pin hard mode from the website! As some others have noted - you can’t really master the geography of a place if you’re using process of elimination. You should be able to toggle a different game mode - one where the country is highlighted when you guess it and another where it stays blank. Also would recommend adding other territories besides those in the Caribbean and Oceania because it’s not a true representation.

Willing to pay monthly. Improvements I’d like to see.. I like your website. I would like to restart a game with few touches as possible with minimal load time because I spend hours playing. To restart a game, I currently have to deal with two flows and it takes me away from my dopamine rush. The scoreboard is not very useful to me since I’m the only person playing. I’d like to see a single player mode, that shows how accurate I’ve been recently eg:- a chart that shows my accuracy along with the time taken in the last 10 games for a map or flag. Thank you for helping me improve my geography knowledge.

Good but could use an update. Could really use updates to have parity with the website. Type mode would be appreciated alongside already existing pin mode. Does not include all modes from websites and flags on website are up to 270+ now so would be nice to see the new additions on here. Also a big pet peeve of mine is when dealing with small islands, the little white circle covers the island shape entirely which is one of the most practical ways to identify them, at least make the circles transparent or put them outside the image of the island and draw an arrow pointing to it or something.

Great for all ages!. We have periodically gotten onto the website to help with our studies and have loved the variety of content. I just learned about the app and it has been excellent! My kids think it’s a game and love the challenge of having their name in the rankings. I’m grateful for programs like this that make learning fun and available to everyone.

Good?. if you need to learn geography it’s a good app, but it really needs a better interface while in the app. It’s hard to click on certain countries and you can’t really zoom out to see the whole map. Another thing is that on most quizzes I don’t see the flag. There’s not much other issues it just really annoys me that I can’t zoom out and have to drag my finger across the screen just to see everything.

No joke awesome app. Ok I legit never write reviews, im a college student who’s into geography as a hobby and this app is sooo amazing. Genuinely. No ads & free to use, there are like, hundreds of very well made quizzes for EACH region of the world. You have the basic quizzes covered, but then it can narrow down to administrative regions of Norway, German wine regions, 1914 Europe, 1861 U.S. States and Territories NO JOKE. Physical features of Australia. Etc etc etc. It’s craaaazy fun, plus the cartoon maps are super cute. I also really appreciate how it can narrow down to different regions of continents. I’m trying to learn African geography & you can learn countries in the northern half & southern half separately first, then together, so you aren’t overwhelmed. This app actually has everything im not just being cliche Amazing app overall 11/10 recommend. Legit a staple

Great educational tool for free. It’s not very often that you come across a great, 100% free app on the App Store anymore. I was really great at geography throughout elementary, middle, and high school, but I felt like I’ve lost my touch since then. This app has helped me strengthen my existing geography skills as well as expand them. It’s easy to use and has a lot of variety.

The Absolute Best. This has been a big help for me and my family I highly appreciate it and I hope it is useful for you guys reading this review, and it’s still a big deal in my life I know everything about the world now. I highly recommend this app to anyone who has had trouble with history class and/or maps!

I feel so smort. I originally got this because my nerd, teacher’s pet friend, Christopher, was learning the countries, and I, as competitive as I am, decided to learn them all faster than him. I started out in the website but I couldn’t save my progress, so I got the app. And man, I have to tell you—I love it so much. It’s great for trivia and just general knowledge, especially if you’re going to be traveling to a country and you’d like to know where things are. It’s so so helpful for social studies class, and also impressing everyone you know (I did a lot of impressing). If I was using google and flash cards to learn geography like I had originally planned, I would have gotten nowhere. I’m glad my friend Chris showed me this app. Get it. Please. ❤️

Very good game but add typing and more outline quizzes. This game changed the way I look at geography. At school a friend introduced me this game on the computer. It was A US state quiz. I learned all the states, then learned all countries along with flags and capitals. After that I learned China provinces and Laos provinces. I wanna learn all country outlines so please add more outline quizzes and typing. I currently want to learn all country outlines. As a Japanese male, I am now learning all Japanese prefectures and their flags.

Helped me with my schoolwork!. I found this very helpful. I know in most cases in Social Studies most people have to memorize all of the countries in each of the continents. My teacher introduced this app to my classmates and I when we started the memorization game and a lot of us found it very addictive and fun. I learned very quickly the countries, flags, continents, etc. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

Excellent and Addictive!. This the best way to learn geography I have ever found. It does not have any in app purchases so it is strictly a learning tool. The number of quizzes is outstanding. I had a little girl age 8 mesmerized for 20 minutes learning states with me. We are all addicted. I cannot say enough good things about this app. It is free but I think I am going to donate to the designers for providing such a great tool.

Great app, just one thing. First off, this app is great and has helped me reach my goal of memorizing where every country is on the map as well as to identify every country’s flag. The only thing that I feel could be improved is the variety of ways in which the knowledge of countries’ location/flags is assessed. Currently, a country’s name pops up and you have to locate it on the map or locate its flag out of a grid of many flags. However, due to the process of elimination, I feel that this method of learning the countries’ location and flag does not necessarily guarantee mastery. In order to truly know any given country’s location and flag, one must be able to name the country from memory when given either its location on a map or a flag. Thus, this issue could be resolved by adding a feature in which users may type out a country’s name from a highlighted country on a map or type out a country’s name after being shown its flag. I feel that this process of learning, focused on production from memory, requires a different mindset than the current recognition method employed by the app. While I do not believe that the current method of assessment should be removed, the addition of another way to test one’s knowledge of countries’ flags and locations (typing out the country’s name given its flag/location) would be very beneficial and greatly appreciated among the users of your app. Thank you so much!

Love this!. Great app. I love the fact that there is audio for so many of the maps. It would be great if updates would continue to add audio to other versions of maps. It’s helped me a lot with pronunciation of country and city names but many of the ones that still need audio have the more difficult names to pronounce. I would also like to see updates with the more recent names of countries fixed. Specifically, Côte d’lvoie and Türkiye. Although others too if there are ones I’m unaware of. I love that there’s a review of questions missed, a variety of complexity of quizzes offered, and the ones with illustrations are extra fun. Thank you so much for making such a great app free!!!

Very good for the brain. I’ve always known where all the big countries are in this world, but unfortunately the smaller you go the less knowledgable I am at it, Seterra’s geography games greatly improved my understanding of geography and now I can confidently say I know every single country on earth, including all those small island countries in the Caribbean. So overall, thanks Seterra for being such an excellent app, I greatly appreciate it.

Great Way to Learn!. I got this app because I realized my geography knowledge was absolutely abysmal (as in, a little fuzzy on where certain US states are located abysmal…) I spent the last couple weeks putting in daily practice, and my knowledge has exploded! I just completed the 220+ countries and territories quiz with only one mistake, which I never thought I was capable of. Definitely get this app!

PLEASE ADD TYPING. I was introduced to Seterra through the website, and I immediately loved it. I learned all the countries in Africa in under a day, and I am now learning Europe. Then I decided to get the app. Mostly, I love it. It’s well put together and interactive. However, the fact that the other gamemodes that are available on the website aren’t available on the app bothers me. I’ve found typing to be the best way for me to learn, pinning is just too easy. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add at least the typing game mode, preferably all of them. Other than that, it’s a great app!

SPECTACULAR! Extremely fun, educational, and addicting in a good way!!. I absolutely love this app! There’s nothing bad I have to say about it! I’ve known all the countries for a while but it’s been a goal of mine for years to learn where all the countries are on the map, and I haven’t quite been able to master them since I found out about this app. I was shocked and excited to find out they offer flags AND specific provinces and regions WITHIN countries! You can learn all the geography of the entire world with just this one app - which is just what I intend to do! Download this app and you’ll no longer be embarrassed when someone asks where a specific country is or any sort of geography question. I’ve already fulfilled many of my goals here, but I will definitely be a regular on this app from now on. Thank you, Seterra!! 😁

Finally an effective alternative to nuclear war. As the saying goes, the only way to get an American to learn geography is through war. Fortunately, thanks to the miracle of modern science, there now exists a cruelty-free, vegan alternative: Seterra. Before Seterra, I couldn’t tell you the difference between Britain, the UK, and England. If you asked me what Liechtenstein was, I would have told you, “Gesundheit.” I thought Portugal was in South America and Kazakhstan was a lie. Now that I have downloaded Seterra, I have instituted warless Wednesday every week and now finally know where Madagascar is. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed to see France erroneously displayed as a real place and not the product of my fevered nightmares. Please remove France in next update.

Decent Geography App. It works well, except that on a phone, each feature on a map is too small and difficult to click accurately. Also, the pronunciations! One one map quiz, it called the Rio Grande “Rio Grand,” which is simply wrong. Imagine saying that in real life; it would be so embarrassing! The term is from Spanish, so it is actually “Grand-eh.” I suspect that the program didn’t know that, though, and all the pronunciations are automated. They should really just put more attention into it though, especially in quizzes like Native American Tribes, for which it would be super super helpful.

I love this game. I am someone who people say is “competitive.” I found this app when I was taunting my dad with who can get a higher score when naming the 50 states. After playing for a while it turned into who can get 100% fastest, and now I use this all the time to distract myself in my free time. I love this app and the layout. Thank you.

Amazing Geography Game: One Request. I love this app! It has everything you could ask for in a free, non-advertised game. Well, except for one thing. Can you please make it so that custom quizzes are more customizable? Like drawing your own borders, placing your own cities, and naming them yourself? This app has a lot of quizzes, but it would be nice if I could make some of the ones that are missing. Like maybe I could make a quiz about Asia during WW2? Other than that, this game is fantastic. I use it everyday. Thanks to this app, my knowledge of geography has skyrocketed.

Excellent app. Of all the ways to waste time on your phone, this is one of the few that’s worthwhile. It’s not just geography. There’s also some history. The tests vary in difficulty so you can pick your level of challenge. You can also review afterward so you don’t just pass or fail but learn. I’ve used their website for a while and just found the app.

Great Geography practice. I first downloaded this app from recommendation of my geography professor. I thoroughly enjoyed this app and it helped increase my test scores. I have always known all of the 50 states and capitals, etc and a pretty good chunk of well known countries around the world, but with the rate at which our world is becoming more geopolitical, it is important to know where these regions and countries are. It is a shame to see how poorly my peers know geography, many people in my age group cannot even point out what state they live in on a map.

Not like the website. I had been using the web version of Seterra for a while and I loved it! With it, I was able to complete my goal of learning the geography of Europe. When I learned they had an app, I downloaded it without hesitation. But this app is not a good reflection of the full power of the Seterra website. All it is is process of elimination tapping quizzes, whereas on the website you can do a much wider variety of quizzes such as: typing, borderless, “hard” versions, etc. This is what I loved about Seterra, but the app offers none of it. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it. I suppose it’s my fault for not reading the full description, but why would I assume the app would lack these features that the website offers FOR FREE. I don’t mind paying a few dollars for the app if it had more of these features, but again, you can do more on the website for free. Very disappointed. I hope they update the app to offer these features.

Awesome app (important issue; devs please read(. The reason why I gave it 4 stars? Misclicking. and it’s not my fault. It’s especially bad on the worldwide map, where I’m zooming in and out like crazy. It almost always happens when I pinch to zoom out. I would appreciate either: 1. An optional setting where you have to double tap a country/location to select it, on the first tap the country gets highlighted. 2.. An optional zoom button which you can press on the screen which zooms the map in and out. This misclicking issue has messed up my worldwide map score DOZENS of times, especially in Africa where the countries are so tightly packed on the western coast

And this is how I learned the U.S. capitals!. I LOVE this app because this helped me a lot in 3rd grade. My teacher showed me it and my friends because some of the class went to a gifted class, so my friends and I played this until they got back. I played this on google but not until some time I knew this was a app, and I still play this with my friends today!

Hate to do this. Seterra is a great app. You get to learn your geography and it’s fun. But it lags so bad. I can’t even finish an area because it won’t let me click on a country and yet the time continues to run. Then I’ll click the one next to it and it will pick that one up, showing that it’s wrong. Also I can’t do review or learn because again, it won’t let me click. And its not my phone either, none of my other apps have any problems and I have a newer phone. I also have enough space. All of my friends have the same problem but won’t speak up. Please fix this problem and I will fix my review.

Great application! But... Even though the description says, “this is the full version of Seterra…”, the app doesn’t contain all the quizzes on the website - including, for example, the Counties of Kenya quiz. This might also be quite difficult to implement, but I also believe there should be other modes for the quizzes, like a typing mode, pin without borders mode, etc., which are already on the website.

One of the most useful apps. I really like the design of this app and also the approach. Recently, I introduced it to my daughter who is in the first grade. She seems very interested and kept using the app. Nice thing is she doesn’t realize the fact of redundancy and she keeps getting better at learning the states and capitals of USA. She also started learning about North and Central America countries. As a matter of fact I am also enjoying it while watching her doing it. Very cool app and I sincerely appreciate all the efforts behind the app. Thank you!

Very good. This game is probably the best geography game out there. It helps me learn a lot about South America USA states and European flags. I highly recommend this if you wanna get better at geography. This game also has a lot of features including the most popular geography quizzes’ hardest, and easiest geography quizzes. It also shows you not just countries, it teaches their flags, where there located and they also show states/countries capitals and other cities. I highly recommend.

Unexpected Enjoyment. I stumbled onto this amazing app whilst trying to brush up on some heavily neglected geography knowledge to help answer some of my daughters questions for school. After literally two days though, I was utterly amazed at how much I had learned (and retained!) about parts of the world of which I had no clue. Two weeks later, I’m even noticing how much more focussed I’ve become when listening to news stories ... because I can now picture in my mind exactly what part of the world reporters are speaking about. I’ve learnt more in 10 days than I did in my entire high school years. And ... it’s so much fun to try to beat old scores. Excellent.

Making up for lost time. Thank you for revitalising my enthusiasm for the world around me with this wonderful app. Having dealt with excessive amounts of bullying and other abuse during my formative years, I missed opportunities to learn about geography and other relatable topics, so for this app I am so very grateful. I have a question, are you able to please add the other quizzes in to the app that are online such as: - the periodic table of elements - heart - cells - musculoskeletal system - nervous system - digestive system - ear - brain Etc etc. I would love to have all of these included into the one app for my "later-life" learning. WHY IS THERE NO QUIZ FOR ALL COUNTRIES, AM I GOING MAD?. Am I dumb or is there no quiz for every country? Apart from that pretty decent, cool to see Western Sahara and disputed borders on here. I’ve always been pretty dumb with geography but I’m now pretty regularly one hundred percent-ing every continent (except for Central America, all those island nations haunt my dreams)

Good but not meant for mobile. Seterra works well with large countries or flags but for games like countries of the world playing on mobile is extremely difficult especially with the lack of arrows or other features that are normally used for smaller countries

Lots of fun. I had so much fun playing this game there’s so many maps to chose from and it’s awsome it may get a bit repetitive but it’s just lots of fun and good education 5 out of 5

Great app but.... I love this app for practicing geography but not for learning it. There needs to be an option on the ‘learn’ mode to have all the country names turned on! It is not helpful for me to have to click all of them because they disappear so quickly that I can’t look at them all together. I need to be able to make mental connections between each country to memorise its location. This should be a basic feature. Other than that, great app.

Great app. Easy to use. No ads. After 2 weeks I can identify all the countries in Oceania, Asia and Africa.

Good learning game. This game is very good if you want to learn geography for whatever your reason. It is quite entertaining and has a sense of fun.

Geography Nerd Here. I adore the Seterra website, especially for all its inclusion of almost every country’s territories and capitals and especially for the countries previously in history. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the 1444 version of Europe in the app version. It would also be nice to be able to click on the names on your personal leaderboard to see which countries you got right or wrong. It would help a lot, as learning these locations and countries and from my previous mistakes could help me focus and find what I need working on. If there could also be more timelines of different areas of the world, it would help with historical communities, such as ancient China and mesoamerica and how the Incan empire was structured and such. Nevertheless, Seterra is a great app and is very enjoyable.

Really great app. This app has helped me so much and i’ve very great full for it. You can do the premade quizzes or create quizzes of you own. It’s also available offline. Overall it’s a great app and I would highly recommend it!

Great Geography Quiz!. I've played this online previously - nice to have an app for this game too. Nice way to challenge knowledge of places all around the world.

This app pushes a political agenda.. Seterra does not list Palestine as a country even though it is recognised by the UN as being one. Seterra lists Taiwan as a country even though it is not recognised by the UN as a country. Teachers, parents and educators should be made aware of the apps disingenuous political agenda. Not appropriate at all for being classified as ‘educational’.

I’m learning stuff. I’m 49 and really only aware of countries I’ve visited. It’s shameful. Also in Covid-times I’m not going anywhere. This game is simple & fun and I’m getting better geographical awareness.

Amazing, but…... This app is wonderful for anyone who want to learn geography or flags, but I would like to see the science part of Seterra added to this app. It helped me a lot for my test but I dont want to log on to my computer all the time just to study for science. It would be amazing if it was part of this app.

Makes learning easy. It’s a fun gamification of geography learning. I surprised my family with how many obscure countries I knew. I go back occasionally to freshen up my knowledge and try new features. Love it!

Love it, but where are other people’s scores?. I’ve learned so many country locations already! It’s an amazing app, but my only confusion is why am I only competing against myself? I only see my own ratings on the scoreboard.

Memorizing States. I am using this app to help me memorize Mexican states. I love that I can test as many times as I want, and it helps me fine tune those I have missed.

This is awesome.. No questions asked. A free app; that lets you learn everything you'd ever need to know about geography with no ads or in-app purchases? Say less. I'm nearly always skeptical with things like this, considering how many times I've been scammed into garbage apps with bad user UI, and no learning oppurtunities at all, but this is completely different. This is certainly the best geography app; for begginers or professionals; there are nearly always still things to learn with this app. I almost never rate 5 stars on things and write reviews with no critisisms at all, but this app deserves it. 10/10, this app is a must have for anyone looking to learn geography.

Great game - App is even better than online. I love the game and played it online on my Mac mini. Then I downloaded the app and it is so much easier to use, so my time scores are even better! I have learned so much about world geography, so that now when I heard a country mentioned on the news, or hear what country someone is from, in my mind I can immediately see the map of where the country is located! Amazing. I play it not only to educate myself, but to keep my mind challenged and sharp - as part of my “healthy aging” and “dementia prevention “ lol!

Excellent but difficult to see islands in map game. This is a fantastic, thorough geography game. I like that there are no ads and lots of ways to play. Overall it’s very good. One frustration is that when you are playing the world map game, there are circles covering all the small islands which makes the easy to click on but very difficult to identify because you cannot see what you’re clicking on. Hopefully this is improved in future versions.

Almost perfect. This has been a great tool for studying geography, but some tests lacks the voice sounds for specific places. This is a bit disappointing since hearing the place along with seeing it helps. But besides that I love this app.

Good?. if you need to learn geography it’s a good app, but it really needs a better interface while in the app. It’s hard to click on certain countries and you can’t really zoom out to see the whole map. Another thing is that on most quizzes I don’t see the flag. There’s not much other issues it just really annoys me that I can’t zoom out and have to drag my finger across the screen just to see everything.

Super fun challenge. Totally beat my expectations! Lots of great challenges. The only thing missing is the ability to play against other people and challenge them. It would be great to challenge friends and family online without passing the phone over and taking turns.

What a great app!. I have been using the website for awhile now and once I found the app I loved learning geography even more. I have successfully learned the names of all the countries and capitals and where they are on a map and this app has made it fun and easy to do so.

My Fav Geo App. I've tried like 5 different geography apps, and I love this one's unique way of marking each country until you've completed the map like the puzzle piece. I think it's great for kinesthetic and visual learners. And I love the use of color to see which countries you got on first, second try, third try, fourth try. Great idea

So Great!. First, I never leave reviews on apps, but this one deserves it. I love this app so much. There aren’t annoying advertisements on it, the quizzes are fun, and there is SO much to learn! I would recommend this app to anyone. I enjoy it more than any game on the App Store and it’s educational!

Double charge upgrade free/full version. Quick and easy relaxing study tool. I started on free version and upgraded. Review sent to full version so I clicked to download as required for review and was charged again for exact same program. Just go ahead buy the full it's a great program.

Love the app! Needs a few updates.. Love the app! So much fun and really well laid out. Great categories that go above and beyond geography to include history, multilateral organizations, population etc. Needs a central/East Asia section. Needs an update for countries like Timor liste and updated country name changes like Türkiye and Czechia.

Super fun. I started learning geography for fun about a month ago. The format is simple and easy and I like the voice, because I used to call Djibouti “didja-bootie.” This morning I got 100% on the 220+ countries quiz and it’s such a thrilling feeling. Highly recommend, even if you’ve never done geography before.

Boost to Self-Confidence!. I am a 3rd grade teacher who admittedly, made all A’s in school growing up, but never learned geography in any meaningful or lasting way. My oldest daughter suggested that I try this app to help me learn geography. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! It is just the right format for me and I now challenge each of my classes to get the app on any device at home and just try it!

Great geography resource. My kids have used Seterra on the desktop for years. This makes it an easy resource for daily learning. These little Americans are going to know where other countries and cities are located. Great for any kid but it’s a favorite for this homeschool mom.

Solid. I have been using this app about every day for more than two weeks, and I must say I am very impressed. It is simple, it is ad-free, and it allows you to see your top ten scores. I can’t think of any features I would like to add. It is a great app!

It’s pretty good. It’s great for my daughter, but if it was set up differently i think it could be even better! Like for instance, if it had a reward system. Where you could get points and earn things, i think ot would motivate the kids to learn. But over all from what little we have used the app it’s great for what we need it for.👍🏻

One change please. This is a terrific app!! Thank you so much for making it. Can you please make one change? When I am learning countries or when I’m playing I’m not sure what I’m clicking on. Can you make things change color? For example, when I’m learning the Caribbean I can’t tell what dotted line islands are associated with what name.

It’s never too late to learn geography. After bouncing around to different schools, I missed geography. I am starting with the U.S. states: doing fine in the West and all coasts but still missing those square states in the middle and around Lake Michigan. Europe and Latin America next and then the ultimate challenge…Africa. The app gamifies geography and makes it fun to learn.

Great for studying!. I got Seterra to study countries for school, and so far, Seterra’s been incredible. While I used to know two countries in Africa, two days later, I’ve memorized almost all of them! Seterra’s great for helping to better learn countries on a map and on a flat, and I highly recommend Seterra for anything school or Geography related!

Great!. I haven't found any problems after using it a while, and I really like the features (mainly the review button- it lets you can go back over what you missed.) It's a good game to do when I'm bored and it helps me remember my geography!

Review on Serterra. I’ve always loved maps. I have never been more knowledgeable about naming world countries, capitals and territories until using Serterra for practice. Such a perfect learning platform. I have an exorbitant amount of knowledge from my 10 months of practice on this app. I’ve never been happier.

Fun way to learn. I started playing an online game called ‘Worldle’, which showed me how little I knew about geography— so a friend told me about this game/app—- and I love it. It’s a fun way to refresh my geographical knowledge from the 5th/6th grade. And now I can regularly guess the country correctly in Worldle!!

Free, fun, easy to use. I was surprised that this is made by the geoguessr team- they have a bad habit of ruining their good concepts with monetization. However, this is free an easy to use, and a lot of fun. Almost every area that you can think of has a quiz. They completely covered all of the bases. Excellent app, been using for around 6 months.

North America and South America. Unfortunately, like most people in the U.S., this app has the misconception that North and South America are separate continents! As I tell my students: what is the definition of a continent? Where would that leave Central America ? There is no reason other than American exceptionalism why these two would be considered separate continents. I wanted to like this app but I find this so ignorant it’s hard to “buy” what it’s selling.

Helped me with my schoolwork!. I found this very helpful. I know in most cases in Social Studies most people have to memorize all of the countries in each of the continents. My teacher introduced this app to my classmates and I when we started the memorization game and a lot of us found it very addictive and fun. I learned very quickly the countries, flags, continents, etc. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

Best Geography Game. I learned about this website/game in school, where we had to put all the states of America on the map, then we did South America, and then Europe. I got interested in doing every country, and decided to study all the countries of the world. I love Seterra because it gives inspiration to learn and I love it.

10/10 | Chef’s Kiss 👩🏽‍🍳💋. This is a great app! It offers a variety of ways to learn the countries, cities, states/territories. Also let’s you customize quizzes. It keeps time record of the quiz and your score. Learning different country names and their locations can be overwhelming but this app honestly makes it easy to learn.

Simply a better version of the website. The title says enough, only problem I have is that it doesn’t seem to get many updates, but you know: “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it”.

Best geography app I’ve found so far. I used Seterra back when I was in school and now I use it to keep my skills sharp. This is a reliable and easy to use app. My favorite part is that there are so many different things to study on here and they’re all available offline so I can use it on road trips or on the subway. Great way to pass the time productively.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟. This game is educational and fun, and the pin mode is superbly fun, I must admit it is very satisfying when you click the correct country and it turns the bright white. It definitely tests your geography skills, and can really improve your map reading skills. This game is very enjoyable, 100% a helpful game.

You better download it right now!!!. So I went to the website and I was trying to study for a test and then I find out about the app. Gamechanger, you can make customs quiz’s for the southern states east states etc. and you can do the world too! Great job guys!!!

Perfect for social studies class. It really helps me know all the continents and states and I really love it when I don’t know I just practice and keep practicing on Seterra and it helps me a lot I recommend for you to get Seterra if you need help on the states or the continents

Lots of fun. I learned all the countries of the world including their flags with this app. However I recomend using the website because it has more options than the app such as the cities, regions, capital districts, physical features, solar system and body part.

AMAZING For social studies but-. This app is so easy to beat and you learn in less than 5 minutes you also get to comment you own words after and you don’t have to have them already programmed in there 6 /10 though bc it’s also plain and boring and less interesting

Awesome app, some maps are a tad rough. This app is wonderful, and I’ve been looking for something like it for years! My only criticism is that in some of the snmaller-scale administrative divisions maps, the borders are a little jagged, as though taken from a low-res vectorized world map (I first noticed this with Iran). It would be nice to eventually see full-res administrative division maps for every country.

Great app!. I absolutely love Seterra! It has helped me learn the locations of every country in the world. It is ad free and easy to use - both on the phone and on computer. You can create custom quizzes that allow you to include territories or nations not fully recognized, which is nice to have!

Highly Recommend.. For those wanting to learn or expand on their geographical knowledge... I’m addicted. The interactive maps are free to play/practice on SETERRA’s website, but this app just brings it all together nicely, making it more convenient and accessible to navigate. I highly recommend the app for anyone with an iPad.

Doesn’t work well with Apple pencil. I like using my apple pencil on map quizzes for the better accuracy on small countries than my fingers. On this app, a lot of apple pencil touches don’t work unless you press it completely upright and very softly. I would have liked to rate this app 5 stars for helping me with my quiz grades, but for now I’m going to use the website.

Best Geography App. This app (and it’s website) are definitely the best I’ve used to learn geography. It doesn’t give you huge hints, so you have to actually think. There are no ads (at least that I’ve noticed) and I don’t have to pay extra to play “special tests” or anything. GREAT mechanics, great tests, good graphics. All around a great app.

Great for adults, too.... I’ve been using the desktop website for over a year, and this app is a great way to learn geography on my iPhone. I use it like the Duolingo app, meaning that just a little learning every day can add up, and eventually you can name every country, lake, river, etc. in the world.

Really good and better than some other apps plus it’s free.. So this app is free, no ads at least for me, and you don’t have to pay for anything. Also it’s review button is really useful. I’ve had no bad experience with this app.

The Best. I am really into Geography, and have been searching for an app like this one for a while. It has a very simple and clean design, and has a lot of content to explore. Some languages even have audio for different landmarks! This feature allowed me to learn the pronunciation of city and country names in German. This is a must if you just want one Geography app that you can rely on.

Phenomenal Game. Honestly, I usually play Seterra on my PC, but I just found out it’s also on phone. I’m enjoying going in my phone to practice my geography. The app gets 5 stars because it has NO ads. If it does have ads (I haven’t seen any so far) then it’s not a lot and either way still deserves a 5 stars. Amazing app

Amazing game!. I love this game. No ads, and no payments. The creator(s) of this game actually care about people wanting to learn and major respect for that. I would also love more difficult quizzes for more advanced geographical studies. (First level subdivisions quizzes for every country.)

Best geography app.. Best Geography app. It’ll test you for accuracy, speed and details on All the political boundaries from countries to cities, natural terrains and flags App works flawless and since it tracks your time speed, there is no lag or bugs I wish there was a global scoreboard from other users it would be nice to compete. And adding a time stamp on current scoreboard to track progress over longer time than just top 10 Great App!! A must if you want to travel the world and understand the imagery lines.

Perfect for beginners. Very impressed with this app and the amount I’ve learned in just one day!! No ads, keeps track of my progress, so far I’ve had access to everything without asking to pay for subscriptions. This is just what I was looking for to expand my geographical knowledge!

I feel smart now. My friend showed me this site before a quiz on South and Central american countries and capitals for our polisci class. I had been putting off studying before then, but now it’s really easy and I’ve moved on to other continents. I feel like the little kid at the end of Jimmy Kimmel when he’s asking people to name countries. Huge flex

Very useful for studying. I’ve used this app since the beginning of the school year and it has saved me through numerous quizzes on geography, maps, location, etc……. This app provides an extensive overview and guide to ace any geography map. The app also provides features that include custom quizzes for easier learning. For anyone struggling with geography I recommend this app! 💗

Becoming a Geography Expert. This app tests your memory and forces the info to stick. I've learned the relativity of regions and features in just 12 hours. A lot faster than I did back in school! I just wish that they included facts about the areas.

Life Changing + Addictive. Instead of scrolling on my phone, the world is coming alive as I practice each area by name and location, faster and faster until it’s mastered, and in such a short time! How did I live this long without knowing my geography and world like I do now? True gratitude for the creators/developers. Perfect Five Stars.

I wish. The app is ok, but it has some mistakes and there and no basic options to control some details. Map area is to small For example when playing quiz on EU I was not able to zoom out to see a full Finland map. Map coloring If you going to do a quiz on EU countries you will notice soon that all other excluded countries will be highlighted, making it very easy to play a quiz. Correctly answered countries get highlighted, making it very easy to play and there is no option to control this. Countries No option to see a map with a all the country names. Country name starts with Click On. How about removing this text after a first country or after a first game and just show the country name. It would take less time to scan the country name.
