Love this app except for one thing. Updated: since the update today, the app won't stay open for me. I've sent a message via Facebook still waiting for a reply and left a question but no reply. I'm on a long streak of days and in monthly tracking. I don't want to lose it because of the app not working correctly and not able to obtain support from Simple Habit. I love this app and now I'm meditating daily since I downloaded it. I love the varying lengths of time, how many different topics, I enjoy the different voices of the people that guide the meditations. I love everything about Simple Habit except one thing. The background sounds of water are very nice and calming but the screech noise that goes off is distracting and interrupts my meditation. I don't know if it is a bird screeching or a monkey. I wish there was a way to turn it off. This app is so amazing that I gave it an easy five stars even with the screech. I even bought it as a gift for two family members.

A Wonderful App. Out of 5, I would rate simple habit a 4.7. Being inside the app feels like a calm, warm hug. There is clear intention with the colors and pictures within the app. There is a helpful “for you” page that includes recommendations, previously listened to, and saved meditations. The meditation section changes depending on time-of-day i.e.., in the evening, suggested meditations such as ‘winding down’ or ‘end the evening with gratitude’ are displayed. The sleep page is geared toward relaxing the mind for a restful sleep. There is even a move your body page full of different workouts and yoga. The app is versatile in that it can be used for both short and long periods of time with either full or partial attention. Not only is the app extremely organized, it provides a sense of accomplishment because it can improve one’s mental and physical health. Furthermore, relationships are an essential part of the human experience, and this app is a resource to strengthen those. What kept it from a 5 was the lack of coaching/meditations designated to social issues. The app has an extensive number of categories, many of which involve day to day problems. I was surprised there wasn’t a section regarding race or social justice issues since we are living in a time where these are pressing matters.

Feeling Centered. Although I am constantly pushing away my reminders (that I set up in the app) because my brain is always on overdrive, when I DO stop and take even five minutes and go through the meditations I am never disappointed. I feel calmer, more relaxed, more energetic, and the chaos in my head seems to quiet just a little bit. And that is a huge reason I love this app. I haven’t tried the paid version yet because I want to use this more consistently first, but I have a feeling I will be upgrading soon. Guided meditation is a must for me. I can’t quiet my own brain by myself. It’s like “Where’s Waldo” in there 24/7. I’m sure some people reading this review can relate. This app really helps you find Waldo, so-to-speak, and get a little relief from all the thought traffic going on.

Very upset. I was very excited to try this app as I looked at the images and ads. I have a manipulating and cruel family member, and deal with issues such as depression and anxiety, even suicide, quite often. I loved it on my first day, and couldn't help but gush and the fact I had finally found something I didn’t have to pay for to learn the basics. On my second day, after my meditation, the app told me I had used up my three days, and that I had to pay. In disbelief I went through all of the meditations and sections, even searching up “free” in the search bar to see if I could get ANYTHING because I was starting to really enjoy the app. Two. Two, no not meditations. No of course not how would that be in the least bit CARING or EMPATHETIC, no it was two SOUNDS. That was IT. I am very upset about this. It lies. Theres barely ANY free content. I get needing to make money, but the fact you TRICK people into downloading the app like that makes me feel as if nobody cares. So thank you. So much for that. I feel so cared for, truly.

Careful of how you resubscribe. I love this app. In college I was having a night where my was slowly imploding over all the stress of finals and letting people down. Then I found this app through Charisma On Command and after listening to three of their tracks I was back to feeling put together. I was so happy with it. Jump to a few weeks ago. Decided I hadn't been using the app, so I unsubscribed. Still had six months left on my subscription, so I figured I would see if I used it or not. Yesterday I went on and listened to a track and remembered why I loved this app again, and there was a cool offer! 50% for the year if I resubscribed. Seemed good so I went ahead with it. Well, it charged me right there for the year, so the six months I still had left originally were gone. Yes, I could have waited till it closer to my actual expiration date, but in the spirit of making sure nobody else wastes their money, here’s hoping you al can learn from my mistake.

Game changing app for parents. All my kids love this app, ranging from ages 2 to 8. They request it before nap or bed time. I LOVE Cory Muscara’s voice and guidance for children (and adults). They have a series for everything! Regarding kids, they have how to deal with difficult emotions, getting to sleep, handling a bully, etc. I like the adult sleep / stress ones. And how cool that the developers listened to my request of a “motivation to exercise” series! Can’t wait! Anyway, if you’re on the fence about this, think of it like this. You DESERVE and NEED a mental break. These meditation experts deserve a fair wage for their life changing services. Both of these things are accomplished when you buy the premium version. I’m not being paid to say this. I really am just happy to be a part of this Simple Habit community. At first I was hesitant because I’m a Christian and thought maybe this would be a weird spiritual thing. Not at all. In fact they even have a Christian scripture series! I just love this app.

Amazing! But here’s a few things that need changing.. 1. Premium! It’s a way to make money, and I get that simple habit need that’s to stay up, BUT EVERYTHING IS LOCKED! And when you just want an occasional meditation session to calm you down, it’s a lot. I don’t use it every day, but I do use it a lot, and I’m a kid so I can’t pay. Just make more things free plz :( 2. Make it more available! It’s great and all, but I have trouble finding a session for what I need. Can you make more for different problems besides the 100 sleep sessions? There are some, but I feel like even though it’s to relax you and put you asleep, there should be more lessons to relax people after different things. These were the only problems I found, and otherwise this app is amazing! It has helped me a lot.

Already feeling a difference. I’ve been dealing with some problematic systems since having my third daughter, one of them being constant anxiety and tension. After visiting a functional medicine practice and been told to begin implementing at least 2-5 minutes a day, every day, I chose to try the Simple Habit app. I’ve always been one to push away meditation or feel that I can calm my mind enough, but just have 2 days and only 5 minutes, I’ve noticed less anxiety and stress in my day! I’ve noticed my energy level has improved and I’ve been more present with my 3 girls. I actually look forward to it each morning before beginning my workout and am grateful to have it a part of my morning routine now before the day truly begins. Highly recommend giving it a chance!

Fantastic Meditation App. I’ve tried a lot of meditation apps, but Simple Habit is by far the best. Oren is an outstanding teacher. He times it all just right, the pauses, the reassurance (it’s okay if your mind wanders, acknowledge it and refocus on the breath - something that), the encouragement (welcome back & other + phrases) and, best of all, his voice is soothing. When I hear his voice, it’s like that of a friend & my stress immediately comes down a notch when he starts talking. I can tell my stress and anxiety is higher when I don’t use this app to meditate. Don’t think I have played sessions by other teachers yet because Oren is so good! The sessions are short & helps to keep me coming back. Thank you for all the hard work which went into this app & thank you for finding Oren!! My only complaint is the app cost, both plans are too much for me. I’ll use the free for now & hope you have a “special” soon!

Learning New Way to Meditate. I found this app by accident. Been doing a regular meditation found on U-Tube for over a year and found it very helpful. I started a new job a couple of months ago in my field of study counseling, but using a whole new process and technique after being out of work for 10 years as a counselor. Thrilled for the new job but overwhelmed and stressed over the extensive amount of new things to learn, with my older ADD mind. Been listening to these new meditation for 3 days finding less stress, more calm, confidence and peace of mind. Anxiety and fear lessen a lot from previous thoughts and fears. Feeling less overwhelmed and feel these meditation series may be the answer to my prayers to a relaxed mind & body. My high blood pressure is decreasing too. Thanks for this app and for hopefully the “life preserver” I’ve been looking for. Hope this will save my job. Thanks a million! ❤️

Love the app but there could be improvements. This app is amazing and has really helped me reduce my stress, focus on my eating habits, and learn how to become a better, more confident version of myself and I would encourage others to download and continuously use the app. However, it would be nicer if instead of having to pay for everything, that only certain lessons would cost money and others would be free. It would make things a lot easier for the people who aren’t able to afford the full version, like myself, because I’m still young and am not allowed by my parents to get a job to be able to pay for things for myself and can’t ask my dad for a pricy membership like this. I’m only able to go off of the 7 day free trial as of now but would be happy if I could still use the app if the changes mentioned were applied. Even if it isn’t changed, Simple Habit is a wonderful app and helps guide your brain to a better place for all different kinds of things such as: better sleep, confidence boost, getting out of bed for a better morning, eating habits, self control, and a lot more that goes through everyone’s day-to-day routine. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day

Good for mindfulness. I've used about 5 or 6 different meditation apps over the past few years, some for long stretches of time and others just a few times here and there, experimenting with new ones to see what fresh takes they offer on mindfulness, meditation, and awareness. I think this app does an awesome job of improving mindfulness.. but if you're really going to get into deeper meditation, it's a little tough with the amount of talking he does throughout the session. I would probably recommend this app as a fantastic supplement to your day - which would include meditation on its own without distraction, this being used as more of a form of "coaching" to live better each day. Purpose of the app aside, the design is slick and the various features work well/are easy to navigate. Sort of high pricing compared to the rest of the world of mindfulness apps, but the quality is there and it's worth paying for if you are truly going to make this a once a day or few times a week habit!

Intros to Meditation Sessions. Overall, this app is pretty good. It’s great for being able to fit a little bit of meditation into each day, even with a busy schedule. My one big criticism, and this is true for a lot of different meditation apps, though I had hoped that this one might be different, is of the lengthy intros at the beginning of sessions and series of sessions. I understand the need for an intro sometimes, but I wish they were recorded separately from the actual meditations themselves. If I’m starting a series, such as the one on Gratitude, for example, I am committed to it, and have already done my research. I just want to get to the meditation. I really don’t want to listen to a 4-minute into talking about the benefits of gratitude mindfulness and meditation. Some may want this, and if it was recorded separately, people could have the option of listening to it, but please don’t force me to listen to it. It is honestly just annoying and counterproductive. Overall good app, but could use some fine-tuning in this regard.

Good but not great. I downloaded Simple Habit and couldn’t justify the price to unlock certain features/meditations. I eventually broke down and paid for the subscription to access longer meditations for sleep. I mostly use the app to fall asleep but will sometimes use the other mediations or physical activity features. While the subscription does provide a great deal of variety and topical meditations for specific and often common life situations, they sometimes feature a voice that detracts from the relaxation, especially for sleep meditations. Some voices are too loud, nasaly, or ironically bouncy for a sleep meditation. And with one narrator, I found that he took very odd pauses. Despite his voice being soothing, his uneven and disjointed tempo made him sound robotic and disrupted the flow of sound. The ambient sounds are also lacking. But there is a great variety of nature sounds and again, I do like the option of having physical activity videos accessible. Because of these reasons, I don’t feel the subscription is worth it, but I’m happy to keep the app as a free member.

Great Teachings not User Friendly to Manage Favorite Practices. I would have given a much higher rating but 2 things made/make this app less then great. 1. The ladies voice: I am very thankful that changed! Playing the woman’s voice at the beginning of each meditation saying “Simple Habits a daily vacation....” was so awful! But they changed that, you must be listening to your reviews, that is great! 2. Favorites tab please: I want to favorite the meditations I want to frequent. There is no way of doing this, no way of clearly tracking who you follow and the exact meditation you want to do again. So basically I start over every time I want yo target something I want to reflect on when I already found a meditation I loved. Some of my favorite meditations I can’t find again. This really NEEDS to change or I will need to find another app. I am planning on testing a few others. But I’d stay right here, if this was possible in Simple Habits. They have a great variety of meditation instructors that are very good, hence a 3 and not a 1 or 2.

The REAL DEAL. Like so many of us, I am challenged with anxiety, depression, etc. Finally decided to go to traditional counseling. It was helpful in noticing where I was being self-destructive, but a year into it, I didn’t feel I was progressing, other than disliking myself a little less. Enter Corey Muscara... I have listened to only three meditations on his app (was planning to use the free trial and then cancel) and one podcast, and I already feel lighter in spirit, understood, AND confident that there is a pathway out of this rut I am in (other than just identifying I am in it). On the outside, I am a capable, hard working person who takes care of all responsibilities. On the inside, I am exhausted and would like to hibernate indefinitely. I will SO be purchasing his app, which is less than the cost of ONE of my counseling sessions. This man has a gift of connecting, understanding amd HELPING. I don’t know you, Corey, but Thank You for what you do.

Good but not good enough. I do appreciate all the teachers and the wonderful content on the app. It’s got a lot of great things about it. However, I’ve compared both this app and the Calm app for two weeks now and my personal choice is the other app. Simple Habits has way too many different teachers whom all have different voices of course. I feel like it throws off the balance. Also, it doesn’t have as much to offer like the Calm app like music and sounds and stories and learning materials. It’s even cheaper and more bang for your buck. Also, to the developers, I hate to sound like a nuisance but you have to get rid of that annoying piano clip played at the end of each meditation. It almost gives me anxiety and I’ve never had anxiety before. It throws off everything once you’re all calm and relaxed then suddenly this loud piano clip plays. Sorry guys haha.

Tasting Menu of Meditations. I’ve been faithfully doing at least one meditation a day for a little over two weeks. I started with the introductory multi-day “thread” and have simultaneously undertaken several other offered threads hoping that I’m weaving a sensible path. There’s an option to set an alert but the routine has become part of my inner clock; I feel like I have forgotten something or something is amiss if I have not meditated by mid-morning. And all of the meditations are really good—clearly some resonate with my state of mind more clearly than others. The one constructive criticism of the app is that there’s the constant enticement of new meditative threads—many of which are enticing but which may disrupt the continuity of the primary thread you are currently undertaking. It might help to be able to visualize the journey in the app and be able to distinguish between the primary path of progress and the wonderful little detours that address the peripheral issues of daily life but which, I assume, are intended to be guideposts to get you back on the main path.

The shark tank deal didn’t last as long as it said it would. I immediately downloaded this app after watching shark tank because I hated the way she was treated and I think meditation and mindfulness is so important. I wanted to buy the membership because there’s hardly any options on the app without being a member and I really loved what limited options were available. I decided to give it a few days before I purchased a membership and figured I had time for the special shark tank deal (because it told me I had 4 days). Last night the app told me I had 2 days left for their special shark tank deal ($5 something a month) but now today it’s saying its back to its regular price :( it didn’t give me the 2 days it said it would. Really bummed about that as I was planning on purchasing the app right now but I can’t really justify spending 90 something bucks on this right now. The 60 dollar range fit my budget more. So I’m disappointed about that but the app is very nice and I can see why it will help people.

Life-changing, wonderful. This app has helped me overhaul my life from the inside. I've lost count of how many nights I've been able to fall asleep only because of this app (although the history/calendar would allow me to see it if I wanted to try to figure it out!). I've learned skills that have carried over outside of using the app and helped me thru tough situations. It has helped me thru procrastination due to overwhelm, breakups, falling asleep after a nightmare, cultivating gratitude even when I feel depressed, I could go on all day. From basic to advanced meditation techniques to specific topic-focused sessions to sleep music, this app has all the resources I need and it has definitely helped me sleep better, manage frustration, and generally be more mindful and able to accept "what is" in my life. I recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you Simple Habit team! <3

Love then just another stress. For an app about mindfulness, it doesn’t seem to practice what it preaches... I loved the app and meditations until the constant feedback requests got annoying (goodness forbid you gave 4 stars, it didn’t let you continue without justifying...talk about biased information). Then came the glitches. Now, I contacted them several times, how the app kept crashing -in the middle of meditation- and/or when it decided not to record what you did. I use the day count as a way to monitor my progress as it establishes a good habit...only to get no response when I contact about one day which isn’t showing up, and they charge you for premium-if you haven’t yet, don’t worry, only when they want you to pay for premium will you get an email back asking for feedback... If I could go back in time I would use another app whose policy is more aligned with meditation than making money such as insight timer (it is free...). Of course the meditations you like will be on premium, you would think they could have a 10 favorites they let you choose to keep if you want to use it without premium... Sorry « simple » habit, but it seems insight timer is gaining a new follower (although for you it’s losing a client)

Excellent App. I just wanted to take a minute and share my two cents with you. There are always a hand full of you that look down on these (or any other) product’s development team for charging a few dollars to enjoy the “premium” features. Is it because you already spent money to buy the phone, these companies should be spending their own time and money to develop apps for you free of charge. Let me break some news to you guys, by asking you this. Are those apps you’re using that cost you zero to download and use REALLY free? Would you go to work, clock in from 9-5 every day of the week, and be contempt with big goose egg on your paycheck?? I doubt it! So why are you able to buy something without spending any money! It’s not your money they are after guys and gals! Read the fine print of what you are purchasing! They aren’t “FREE”! In fact, they are far from it! READ!! If I went to a full service gas station, said “fill it up” and at the end of the transaction they said “it’s on us”, wouldn’t something seem a little off? READ!! This is a great app, and worth every penny they are charging! Why? Because at the end of the day, I know exactly what I’m paying for! Goods and services, at the exchange of money, just like it’s supposed to be! FIVE STARS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Keep up the great work and keep sending these awesome updates! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great, but.... Everyday’s a struggle for me. I deal with anxiety, stress, and I personally consider myself on the verge of being depressed. Today, I decided I should try and do something about it. I downloaded this app in hopes that it could enlighten my mood, and be my shoulder to lean on when I need a little comfort. I wasn’t disappointed when I opened the app. It’s organized, and I love the format of everything. I adore how there’s an on the go feature, and most of it is speaking, so if panic/anxiety strikes in public just put on your headphones and calm down instantly. I would LOVE to give this app 5/5 stars, because frankly I think it deserves it. But, there’s one problem. You have to spend money to buy a lot of the calming aspects of the app. Music, stories, and ASMR are all things you must purchase, as there are only 1-2 free options. I really believe this app has a lot of calming properties, and I really do like it, I just don’t think it’s right to pay a ridiculous amount of money for one application. As if I think it is worth downloading? Yes. If you need a slight bit of relaxation, or just a relaxing podcast you can listen to on your way home from work, this is the app for you. If you’re looking for an app with super reasonable prices that you find yourself wanting to open every single day for a large amount of time, I frankly wouldn’t reach for this app. But I love the concept, and I just think if this were to be fixed, I would love this app that bit more.

good and bad. I love the meditations. Etc. But, the bad is that the history or saved list is a really poorly implemented feature. I found a meditation I loved but I cannot find it back and may do a lot of searching trying to find it back. I really wish this just ditched the way it does this and went to a standard web browser metaphor. I find the ability to know my previous favorite instructors and sessions to be of great importance and wondering if my favs will be there or still there is a pain and distressing. The download function is also pretty terrible. If I choose to save a session for playback later give me a list of offline accessible sessions. In all, sheer irritation drove me to write this review as I have grown tired of these shortcomings that limits access and usability of the great content library here.

Excellent app thus far, just wish it were iPad optimized!. I am more relaxed without my cell phone around, which is more likely to ping with a notification and disrupt things (I know, I know... Do Not Disturb). But also my iPad Pro is super fast and stands up nicely by itself, but... the app is sideways in that configuration (come on, Apple)... so that is a bit of a bummer. Still, the app is amazing because the meditation guidance quality, from what I have experienced so far, is above and beyond what I have experienced in other apps (I used Calm quite a bit, but haven’t been meditating as much recently). Simple Habit has me getting back into my groove and then some, with guidance so good and varied (Before An Interview... Single And Happy... etc.) you really start to look forward to the whole experience, not just the clarity and focus that comes after. Excited to keep up the Simple Habit in 2018, and looking forward to the iPad app! ;-)

LOVE SIMPLE HABIT. I would recommend this app to anyone! This app helps guide you into thinking positive thoughts and building reassurance in the proper places in life. No matter what you’re going through they have people to help you in that aspect of your life; feeling lonely, building confidence, relaxing at work, not being hard on yourself, forgiving your self, appreciating your loved ones, decompression after a crazy day, dealing with trauma. This is not therapy but it’s an everyday helper to get you through and I consider it to be my therapy. Every single person should listen to “Finding Happiness” narrated by Cory Muscara. This app reminds you to take the time out of your day for yourself !! This is so important because we always focus on everyone and everything around us making it easy for our minds to get jumbled and confused. Take time for yourself every morning to start your day off right by downloading this APP

This app USED to be perfect. I subscribed to this app during the worst depressive episode of my life, winter 2018. It was perfect. If I needed to meditate, I could search by issue and length. If I was up at 4am from not being able to sleep all night, I could spend hours under sleep meditations and see who it was led by (I had my favorites). The layout now is so horrible now. It’s too stressful to find what I’m looking for, when I’m familiar with the actual content. In an effort to compete and stay modern, Simple Habit lost what made it great, the “simple.” My favorite feature used to be the second tab where it had a circle and I could immediately click what issues I needed a guided meditation on. Now you have to scroll to find that. While I miss the content, I unsubscribed because it adds more frustration and anxiety when I am in search of relief. I’ve subscribed to other mediation apps. If a simpler layout gets released, I will gladly be back. Also Cory Muscara has THE best meditations and I very badly want more content from him.

No meditations for abuse survivors. If there are any meditations for emotional abuse survivors, I can’t find them by searching. It’s really upsetting for me that as an abuse survivor I can’t find an app with meditations that are not about managing petty anger or a stressful day at work, but serious damage from abuse. While the depression and anxiety meditations are partially helpful, some of the wording is just not at all geared towards people with PTSD and deep-seated anger that doesn’t have to do with poor anger management over small potatoes, but lingering wounds and consequences of the behavior of others that you couldn’t do anything about at the time. There really needs to be some meditations available in the free version for healing from emotional abuse, and dealing with PTSD— I was hoping to find that in SOS on the wheel, but nothing. I like this app otherwise, it’s pretty and well narrated, but I’m very disappointed that I can’t find an app that will help me with my specific problems, and do one or two meditations geared toward this for free as I have like no money 😢 I know that PTSD and abuse aren’t sexy and enticing words to plaster on a meditation title, and maybe the developers want to be more diplomatic with their language use, but some of us really need to feel included and like there are meditations specifically for our more serious problems.

Finally a daily practice. I have tried to consistently begin and end my day with mediation for at least the past year. Countless apps have been installed and deleted. This is the first app that has really made it easy to form a habit of meditation. I love the recommendations that it gives and the easy user interface. I love that there are quick “I feel” or “I need “ prompts that give you recommendations for a meditation in that moment. And I love that it simply gives you positive feedback after each meditation and will give a reminder to meditate if you set it up. So far I have used the free version and all of this comes with it. There’s no clicking and then realizing that the feature that I wanted to explore is a paid feature only. I will be purchasing soon only so that I get the full library of mediation exercises. Great app, I’ve recommended it to numerous people.

Since 2017. I have been using this app since 2017 and have had the opportunity to mold and shape my meditations that work for my routines. I finally got a friend to sign up three days ago, unlocking the full services of the app to me for free for two weeks! Super excited to finish some meditations and coaching that I couldn't before. Everything worked great this morning. And this eve as I got ready to open my app and do my sleep meditation, the app suddenly made me sign in and started me all over loosing all my info. I am so disappointed as I was just considering actually buying the service because trying it out for free for two days was amazing! I dont know where to get tech help or support. I hope not all is lost and someone will be able to get my account back.

Therapist approved. I am a therapist who leads meditations on a regular basis. I have used probably at least 10 different meditation apps for my own use in the past 5 years and this is by far my favorite! I love the series options—it’s nice to have the meditations build on each other and to have that sense of accomplishment when it is completed. My favorite feature is “on the go.” I love being able to select how much time I have and where I am/what I’m doing and getting matched with a meditation. The most appealing aspect of the app is that you can genuinely get great use out of it with the free version. Obviously the premium edition offers more, but unlike most free versions I have used, it continues to be a helpful tool with broad access beyond the first week of use. I love that money as a barrier has been removed.

2 stars. At first, I loved this app!! I liked the voices and meditations. When I first got the app, it let me pick what type of meditations I needed, like beginner, stress and anxiety, better sleep, etc. which was really nice. Felt like I could have a good personalized app. At first all the meditations were free and I was like FINALLY SOMETHING THAT IS FREE!! And then it said that I had to go premium to access the meditations because I used up my three free ones. 😡😠☹️I don’t like to pay for apps or anything like that, I think it is a complete waste of money unless it is something extremely important that I actually need. I was so flippin mad! I scrolled through the meditations so I could see if there were any free ones, but it seemed like there weren’t except for like two free ones in the daily meditation. ALL THE MEDITATIONS ARE LOCKED! Please change this, I know there are people like me who don’t like to pay for apps but would still like a meditation app. It is pointless if they let people do only three free ones and then just lock the entire mediations and make ppl pay! So mad! Just deleted the app. Please at least make like 1/2 of the meditations free. I would definitely get the app again if you changed this. 😕

Never Thought of Myself As a Meditator. In my ten years as an iPhone user I don’t think I’ve ever written an app review. But after two weeks of using simple habit I can say it’s one of those apps that really does change your life. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but let me try to explain. The device you’re using to read this review right now is part of the ongoing onslaught your limited attention faces. We all have too much to do. Too many commitments and too many things pulling at our mind. Simple habit transforms your phone from a distraction machine to a focus builder. But! You have to be in a place to accept and use the app to do so. I’m no expert but the switch that flipped for me was approaching mindfulness and meditation as a practice not something I’d do perfectly the first time. After three or four tries it felt more relaxed. Now I use the app 3-4 times a day. Feeling distracted and frazzled at your desk? Do a five minute session. Feeling harried between presentations? Do a walking meditation. Putting your 1 year old back to sleep at three am? Unguided ocean sounds work wonders. I’m still a novice but I can tell you I already feel less stressed and even happier as I go about my day. So my fellow skeptics. All I can say is be open and give it a try.

My love if simple habit. I’ve had Simple habit for just about a week and on the very first day every thing about it was wonderful and so easy to find. Recently i took a free questionnaire to find out what I should focus on. Once I was finished they gave me a course to follow and help my problems. It was so relaxing and helpful and isn’t just a quick one day thing. It helped me alleviate so much stress. And Im a HUGE stressor. I have anxiety, stress, serious insomnia, I make horrible scenarios at night, I have to big dreams, I always think of the worst, I make up bad I’m tense, easily angered, can easily be saddened for a long time, and can fall apart through seconds. But I try not to show it. This app has really held me together. If your looking for an enlightener or a quick briefing Simply Habit has got your back. It’s easy to use, good for all types of people, and has lots of choices. I normally don’t review apps, but Simply Habit immensely succored my problems, with immediate results. I study hard and have been pulling to have the best grades, all advanced programs (TAG Talented And Gifted) and I’ve strived to become a doctor all my life. A brain doctor. And all my life I’ve been pressured and broken down by stress and self anger. This app has applied me and motivated me and I feel so much better. Plus I have the free version but I can still do lots of stuff.

Calming and Helpful. I deal with my emotions in the harshest ways possible... my emotions are always out of control for me, and I could never control them one bit... This app is so helpful, and it makes my days much more relaxing and calming. I’m learning little by little to build myself up instead of tearing myself down. It’s content is amazing, even when you aren’t on anything premium. The way the app works is simple and flowing, so I don’t have to worry about how to do this or how to do that within the app. I’ve recommended this and sent invites to many of my friends, and I hope they can use it for themselves as well. I also recommend this to anyone, and I mean anyone. Even if you don’t have problems, it’s nice to just feel one... to feel whole and relaxed... thank you :)

Helpful. I’ve used this app 6 out of the last 7 days, some days using it multiple times throughout the day. I like it a lot so far. It’s made meditation simpler for me. The instructors’ voices are soothing and visually I like the organization and simplicity of the app. Not all of the topics apply to me, but for the topics that do apply, there isn’t a ton of variety. I end up using the same session a few times in a row until I can mentally get to a good place. Not only that, but most of the practices offered are only 5 minutes long which is another reason I’ll repeat a session but this causes me to stop meditating to restart the session. So I wish there was a way to adjust the time for guided practices that really help me. I haven’t purchased I subscription yet only because I’m not sure how often new practices are added and I’m afraid of becoming bored listening to the same sessions on repeat everyday so I’m going to wait a little bit to see. But so far I’ve found it very useful to calm my anxiety. 5-10 minutes in he morning has helped lift my mood and it’s nice to use in emergency bouts of panic or obsessive thinking!

Excellent! (Read this review for an honest answer). This meditation is essential for my daily life style. I am dancing 6 classes along with school work and homework plus extra projects, studying and test preparation. My mind was in 20 different places at once. Dare I say it, I as on the verge of needing the doctor to step in because of my anxiety and nervousness. Each night, crying at the homework table not just because it was hard, but my teachers didn't want to help me... however, now that I started Simple Habit, I have had not ONE panic attack, not ONE anxiety session and not ONE breakdown. So I highly recommend this app not just to adults, but to children stressed with school and need something to get them back on track. Even though not everything is unlocked, I have been using everything free and I'm doing better than ever. If you can go premium, go premium! Please take my advice and be this app and be constituent ( the morning and then in the night).

Thankful. I struggle with depression and anxiety and have never really found a reliable form of relief. I found myself in cycles of highs and dark lows, and at my lowest my motivation was gone. What made it worse is I responded to these challenges with myself in anger. Very unhealthy. Out of desperation, I tried this app (since meditating on my own wasn’t doing the trick). I really can’t minimize how much this has helped. I can now escape my doubts, or at least work through them. When I’m anxious I can now take a minute, choose a meditation and I find clarity. In finding this tool, there has been a chain reaction of positivity. Work is better, socializing is better, my relationship is better, and I’m better to myself. I can’t express how thankful I am for this, and I tell everyone I know who’s struggling to give it a try.

Every upgrade gets worse. I have been a Simple Habit user for 2 years and I love their teachers and meditations. The problem is the app. Every time there is an update, the interface gets more cumbersome and difficult to navigate. Luckily I saved the teachers I like so I can search for them but it used to be easier to find teachers and previous meditations. And in the middle of the night when you are looking for your favorite sleep meditation, navigating through their clunky interface is frustrating. And often it doesn’t work, even if you’ve downloaded your favs. So you set up to begin, only to have to keep checking if it’s working. I know, breathe, relax. And lastly, when you renew all your search history and saved lessons are lost so you have to start all over again. My suggestion, great teachers, when you find the ones you like, save them outside of the app so you can find them again. And to Simple Habit, why are you making this so difficult for your users?

AMAZING!!!. I have had insomnia for the past 2 years and just learned to except that it takes me an hour to go to bed. Then, I found Simple Habit! I listen to a sleep meditation every night and now I fall asleep in minutes!! If I am stressed out I will listen to a calming meditation. All of the voices are soothing and calming. I don’t have premium but most of the really good meditations are premium. I do understand that this is a business but I think that (creators) Simple Habit should have some more all free meditations. What I mean by that is that you can find a free meditation then you click on it and you see there are 3 classes but 2 out of the 3 are premium. So I think that Simple Habit should just change that bit up. But that is just my opinion. Anyway, if you have anxiety, insomnia, or mental stress you should DEFINITELY download this app!!! -Madison💕

Livid + deceptive charges!!. I have been a dedicated user of this app in the past and have promoted it on my FB page, even to the point of being awarded several weeks of premium for free because I have 2.5k followers and they try the app’s free trial on my recommendation. I had a pop-up a couple of days ago asking if I wanted to try a couple of days of premium for free, after which I would be charged $95 for premium. I READ THE FINE PRINT! It said nothing about the fact that if you’ve had a free Trial in the past you can’t have one in the future. But guess what?!! THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT ANYWAY AND APPLE WONT REFUND ME!!! I consider this to be deceptive business practice. It’s unfortunate because I work at a Fortune 500 Company and as a member of our health and wellness committee, I am beginning a meditation education series. As part of that series I was going to run a contest by having everyone use the app to track their meditation practice for two weeks, using this app. Integrity is important to me. This app has lost my trust and I don’t think that email is going to be an effective way to reach someone. I’m certainly not going to risk my personal reputation by promoting a company that TRICKS their customers so they can charge them for an annual membership. I’m a single Mother and this is way outside of my budget. Thanks a ton Simple Habit.

Highly recommend. As a long time sufferer of chronic pain, depression and insomnia this app has been a big help to me. One thing I need to get out of the way first because I see it's the one big complaint is that there is a premium to pay to access all the features. Yes that's true but it's a service there is no scam if you take the time to actually read the agreement they are very transparent in that regard. To me my health and state of mind are a number one priority and quite frankly the premium is cheaper than all of the other therapies I have to attend so to me personally it's worth it. I've tried alot of different apps but they just don't work for me as much as this one. It doesn't make me feel bad if I miss a session and it's very user friendly. I highly recommend and thank you simple habit team for putting some joy in my day.

What a great idea. Though, it can do better ;). This is the best meditation app I have used. A wide range of very practice topics. And it really works for whatever intention I have started with. However, the only thing I feel the app can improve is that the “dealing with sexual harassment /assault” meditation could be free. I just think that it’s such critical topic for not only women, but men. And for genders and identities that are not just defined by “man” and “women”. It’s so critical and I think it should not be locked into the “premium” but open to the regular users too. I pay for the premium because I value the idea and development of the app and am willing to pay to improve my own mindfulness. But for that particular meditation, I think it is so specific, and it could make so much difference that it should be... just free.

Diagnosed with Major Depression. I struggle with major depression and these apps have helped a lot. It’s honestly trance like, hypnotizing in a very positive way. Everyone knows that if you listen to more positive...you are more positive and when you listen to lots of negatives...vice versa etc. Listening daily to these meditations pretty much ingrains it into you mentally and even when listening to someone say breath deeply....if I’m not really paying attention, my mind will signal to my body to automatically breathe on its on. I also recommend fasting as well if you are able to. Try to eat nothing at all or nothing the entire day until late at night to keep your mind clear and very focused. With yoga and simple habit for some guides meditation now and again it works out pretty well for battling major depression. Thank you! UPDATE 2019 I recommend they add a playlist addition to add theraphy sessions we like and play them in a row like Apple Music playlist.

Used to be great.... I used Simple Habit for about a year until I had to get a new phone. Now, keep in mind, I had been using it for FREE that entire year. Simple Habit is a great app. It has helped me through many long nights, good and bad. I highly recommend it to those of you who don’t mind paying after three free sessions. When I got my new phone, I decided to re-download Simple Habit, because why not? It helped me so much. When I downloaded it, I went through the usual; Make an account, tell us how you’re feeling, etc..etc...I usually like to listen to the Bedtime Stories, because they just make me happy. But after I had finished listening to one, about to move onto the next, I was asked to buy Premium. I have never had to purchase anything before, so I am confused as to why I have to now. It told me that since I had listened to three sessions free, In order to continue to listen to and enjoy Simple Habit, I had to pay for it. Once again, I had the app for over a year and never ran into this issue. I’m assuming it’s some sort of update, but I’m not very fond of it. I do love the app, and will continue to love it. From a distance. Once again, highly recommend the app, but I don’t if you do not like paying for things. Stay safe, stay positive, and stay home.

One big request!. I have been on a 45 day streak, enjoying so many benefits of presence and gratitude with this beautifully designed and comprehensive app, (complete with sos button for stressful and frustrating moments). But I have a big issue with the it, and truly considering going with another one. There is currently no way to add a meditation done outside this app. If you do one on your own, in a class, or if I have no service, then you can’t record it, and will not keep your streak. I have had a goal to meditate daily, and have...but because I didn’t record my silent meditation with the app, my timer started over today with no way of keeping track of my progress. I truly love so much about this app, but this is frustrating to not be able to track accurately. This would be 5 stars for me, with this one request: to offer a way to add times, to keep track of meditation times all within one place. Thank you for designing and creating something so helpful and beautiful! 💜

Excellent. I am a person, like many others, who often feels like I do not have time to do all the things I want or need to do.. especially if it’s just for myself. Simple Habit has made it easy for me to begin a more consistent habit of no more than 5 minutes a day. I don’t do it every single day, and I forgive myself for that, but many days I can’t justify telling myself that I do not have just 5 minutes for this. It’s a practice, of course, and I still haven’t gotten to a point where I don’t think of 87 other things while I’m practicing, but it feels very good to use this app. Little to no pressure. I don’t set reminders because I will usually just turn them off and then forget anyway. I don’t pay for the premium (yet) because I’m still going through many freebies. I looked that you can find your friends and nudge them as well. I love that I know I’ve had 32 sessions so far. Overall, 5 Stars, and I’ve already recommended this app to a number of people. Love it.

Will steal your money and Do NOT offer refunds!. Terrible customer service! I downloaded this program because it sias it was a free app. Turns out to use anything worthwhile you need a membership that costs $100 a year! I thought that’s ridiculous, but it offered me a free month trial. I was planning to try it out and then cancel the trial if I decided the $100 was not worth it. Alternatively I might sign up for the monthly payments if I really wanted the program. I clicked the bottom that clearly stated “Free Trial” and then as usual with any other app in order to activate the trial you must enter your password. I did so and it immediately charged $100. I contacted Apple who told me I have to talk to the company , I contacted Simple Habit and they said I have to contact Apple and they don’t deal with refunds. I contacted Apple again and they said they can’t offer a refund and this company has to tell me why their trial didn’t work. So there you have it. Is this program worth $100? I actually don’t know because even after charging me $100 and refusing to refund it despite their app being in error it still says that I have to upgrade to use the meditations. So how about them apples? Terrible company and not worth it.

My favorite meditation app ...and I have tried MANY. I gave up on meditating a while ago for commons reason: because I didn’t have enough time or I didn’t prioritize it or simply because I didn’t want to even though I knew of the numerous long term benefits it could provide to my mind, body and soul. However I believe this app will allow me to incorporate meditation into my daily life and help me on my journey to a healthy mindful and happy lifestyle! Off the bat I love how short the sessions are -only 5 minutes which anybody could EASILY find time for in their morning or daily routine. Also the sessions are not like typical ones I’ve sat through where it focuses on breathing, form, etc but instead these sessions cover various different topics that allow you to meditate but also engages the mind which for me is huge because I cannot sit still for anything and often had trouble finishing my sessions in the past. The topics covered are a wide range enough for anybody to find something that could be enjoyable/interesting for them. Thank you for this GREAT app!!!

Anxiety Attacks happen. I've been having panic attacks this past year that definitely affected how I operated during the day. I also have insomnia, self doubt and day's where the negative thoughts dictate how my weeks go... I didn't want to always rely on my friends to help me out on those dark days especially when things happened at 3 or 4 am... Then i saw this app on Shark Tank and decided to check it out myself. I did a few days as a free user and within the first few days, I noticed that my thoughts became more level headed, I actually slept a little more than usual, and it had an SOS section that helped me calm down from a panic attack. I decided to pay for the premium and I am glad I did! There's provided daily sessions that has been working for me so far. I'd definitely recommend this for people who have an overactive mind and those seeking to just learn how to appreciate and just... well... people who want to breathe a breath of stress free air.

Worth every cent. Love this app so much! It really puts me in the perfect mood to start the day. Can’t wait to try some more ones throughout the day. Definitely recommend spending the money to unlock all of the sessions

The best meditation app of them all!!. Really love this app, it has changed my life! I’ve downloaded a number of meditation apps and this by far is my personal favorite! Love the simplicity of the home browser and love all the different types of meditation available by amazing teachers and instructors! The morning meditations are my picks. 👌🏽

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. OMG I love this app I haven’t had it for long and I’m already in love. It’s an amazing app and I so recommended for anybody who loves to have “me” time or for people who have had a long day and just needs to unwind. Great app!

Option for 5 minute sessions make it easy to find time for mindfulness. The “on the go” option helps customize the session to whats going on at the current moment. Very useful!

Take your money without approval. This app has decided to upgrade to premium without my permission or knowing. I got charged $150 for something I haven’t even used! What’s worse is when you email their customer service team to try and resolve this, no one responds. Really disappointed and quite furious they’ve just taken liberties this way.

Cancelled my subscription. I really liked the idea of Simple Habit so I signed up impulsively as I think it’s important to pay for things you value. But a few basic misses made me give up in frustration. 1. The self promo at the start of every meditation- I HATE it. I want to relax myself into a suggestive state for the purposes of meditation, and I can’t stand the notion that every single meditation opens with a short self promotional byline. I can forgive it In other apps or podcasts, but I cannot relax into a meditative state when I feel they are marketing to me. I tried to go with it for a while, but the response never dissipated. 2. I could not figure out how to queue up the various sessions. This got so annoying as the sessions are 5-10min each. I found it really disruptive to then have to go back to my screen and load up the next one. 3. The second point was compounded, because although there are many themed sets of meditations, the first one in each series is a pretty identical vanilla breathing exercise. Overall, I wanted to love this app, but it just made me angry and frustrated. :-(

Best mindfulness app. I’ve tried most of the others and I keep coming back to this one. I find the meditations to be really helpful in dealing with anxiety. I love how it’s based on science and live listening to the ones that are a bit more like podcasts. Thank you for helping to bring a bit of calm into my life.

Great app, but a lot of locked content.. Enjoying this app so far, and appreciate how it shows streaks. Much of the content is locked. Rather than paying month by month, the only option is to pay for a full year up front..

Wish I’d never paid for this !. I’ve tried many meditation apps & this is undoubtedly the worst on a number of levels. First, it’s the most expensive. Too expensive. Secondly, half the meditations aren’t like meditations at all but more a ‘lesson’. Thirdly I find its internet connectivity the least reliable of any I’ve tried - it often just takes too long to load, and unlike many others it’s not possible to make a collection of reliably downloaded favourite meditations. In addition, why must we listen to the little ‘Simple Habit’ jingle at the beginning of every single ‘meditation’???? We already KNOW what we’re listening-to! It’s like inbuilt advertising which is entirely unnecessary and hardly conducive to a peaceful frame of mind! On the upside, some of the meditations for aiding sleep are great .... IF one can find them in the jumble of ‘We Added New Meditations!!’ and everything else that pops-up a la a social media feed when you just want to fall back asleep quickly and easily at 3am!

Recommended. I have used simple habit on and off for a few years and it has grown immensely. I also use Headspace and Calm but the main feature of Simple Habit that I just love it’s being able to search how I’m feeling.

Great app plus it’s free. Amazing app to use I have daily reminders and I start my day with a short 5minutes meditation each day and weekly sessions are slightly different focusing on something new. But always coming back to breathing

Love this app. I’ve just started using this app and I’m in love! Only downside is that the premium catalogue is a large lump sum paid yearly - could the developers break up that amount to monthly payments? I’d definitely sign up for premium then!

A good meditation app. I decided to purchase a premium subscription after 7 days’ trial. It has many great meditation sessions that help me feel calm during this crisis and sleep well at night. I have one suggestion for the developer: Could you please make more background sounds to choose while playing a meditation? The current nature sound is quite depressing for me to hear as it rains every day in my area now. After all, thank you for creating the app and having these meditation experts to guide us through our practices.

Best part of the day!. I’ve been using this app for a little over a month now, and even though I initially thought it would be a chore keeping up with daily meditations, I actually found myself wanting to do it for longer and longer! I love the sense of peace and calm the meditations give to me, not just while I’m using the app but the rest of day to day life. The meditations are so varied and cover such a wide variety of topics that there’s really something specific for everyone. The interface is absolutely beautiful to use. Massive thanks to the developers and the guides who make it all possible. Would love a specific page just to see all the meditations saved to my playlist- I save a lot that I haven’t used yet and am looking forward to, and the option on the home screen doesn’t display all of them.

Scam - better not charge me.. I downloaded this app to use. Just as I was about to hit continue on the trial - I noticed I’m VERY small writing it’s $140 straight out of your account unless you turn it off in settings. I went into setting to turn it off and you actually CANT turn it off! I have now deleted the app on all my devices and hoping it will not charge me in a week! Disgusting from an app designed for people clearly needing help to relax and have anxiety! DO NOT GET THIS APP!

Good meditations.... The only down side of this app is that it has so many choices, except to do a meditation you’ve done previously (without having to go through all the options first). Other than that, it’s been good so far.

Best free mindfulness app. This is the best free mindfulness app I have found. There are so many different ones to listen too. I have been using it for over a year now and I still haven’t listened to everything yet ☺️ I feel so fresh and happy in the morning. I’ve gotten into a habit of using it everyday and my mind has been set free

I love this app. It’s so relaxing I get my whole family to do it. It just relieves tension so calmly I love that there are different purposes like trying to sleep, calming down, sending you to a sleep like or relaxation state. This is a great app to just have after school relieving stress from end of year assignments.

It's Great, Just the Age. Simple Habit is a great meditating app, but it's just that it says the age is 4+, and I put my age and it said you had to be 13 years or older. WHAT A JOKE! Couldn't you just set the REAL age on the app before I installed it? I had to ask my mother now that I couldn't put my age. (I am NOT saying it.) Still, I went in and the meditations are great. I am happy with everything except the age. I would suggest to change this immediately. Thank you.

Great, but should be free/modestly priced. Loving it. I know how beneficial meditation can be in your life, but I had never quite religiously practiced before. I find these short guided audios to be really helpful and it's easier to make them a habit. Wish there were more free meditations or, at least, the app price could be more modest. Meditation is such a wonderful thing, it shouldn't be made into a business.

Awesome 👏 🧘🏻‍♀️. Amazing app but I wish there were more extended versions... especially for sleep! Other than that, nothing bad I can say! 😊 It’s the only good meditation app I’ve been able to find and I’ve downloaded about 25!!

Very good but some problems. This app is very good and has lots of helpful things to help you. I absolutely love it!! But I have some negative things. I would like more things to be free but otherwise than that it’s really good!! ✨💕✌️

Great meditation exercises but too geared to sales. On day three, you’re forced to buy/upgrade. There are other free meditations but you need to search for them and the seem to be a part of a series and then you can only access one or two from the series. In some cases, the last one which seems counterproductive to me.

Ok but has glitches. Some of the badges don’t show - month and day streak. Not able to sign up for next month and now says I am not signed up for the current month. Supposedly 3.9 million people listen to this. No inclination to do this everyday now after 1278 sessions was top 34 listener. All you see now is pay pay pay, not working correctly even after last December update.

Disappointed. Was loving this app before the recent update, and now my home page feed has meditations I need to pay for without the little crown symbol. So I scroll through and find one I like, click on it, ready to relax and boom, sorry, subscription only - frustrating! Btw - I would definitely subscribe if I could pay monthly instalments instead of the one off fee.

Love it!. Although i dont have premium the app is still fantastic! There is a bunch of free stuff, meditations and things like that. And personally these have really helped me and I’ve benefited heaps from the app. I would 110% recommend this app to anyone and everyone. And it’s a great app if you’re like me and can’t for whatever reason pay for a subscription!

Nice One. Daily Habit is a wonderful little 5 minute guided meditation that is simple to use and the guider has the most calming voice I could listen a lot longer to it. Thank you.

Saved lists/folders feature needed. Love the content! If there were a way to organise better my saved list that would be great! Maybe an ability to create folders under the saved list.

Outstanding. I have tried meditation and mind relaxation apps and I struggle to find constant meditations that actually work, simple mind is amazing and already recommended to everyone that needs more well being in their lives. Simple mind offers a variety of professionals who know what they are talking about and a variety of different meditations and therapy’s. Simple mind has helped me so much and in just a few days I saw development.

It really is a simple habit. I love how easy this app makes it to meditate. Combined with my AirPods Pro, I can meditate anywhere and any time I can. Meditation is actually so nice and pleasant that even though I always start with a 5 min meditation, I end up doing it for longer. I’ve tried other mindfulness and meditation apps before and they did their function. But I find that this app helps to keep it a habit. UPDATE: I'm keeping the 5 star rating as this app has helped my consistency with meditation, however, after prolonged use there are some tiny issues with it. The streak history is not accurate and I find sometimes it does not log the data when I meditate. I've also lost the history for this past month after updating the app. This isn't very important to me as I use a habit tracker app anyway but it may be information worth noting to others.

Beware the payment options. I signed up for a free trial which I thought would be followed by the advertised monthly price I had been shown. At no point was I clearly shown that an annual subscription was imminent. At the end of the free trial I was immediately charged for a full year subscription. I have since complained and received a refund as the billing of this app is quite deceptive and a lot of other people have clearly had the same issue. I won’t be recommending this app until it is updated with your membership type and options actually shown in the app itself, and with imminent billing warned or shown more clearly. It just feels that their strategy is to try ‘sneak’ in payments and not make them transparent, which is a shame because the content is quite good.

Cool app. Thanks for making this app but I recommend that you fix some stuff up in the app like for example can you fix it like where you can change the voice to a girl and no just have it as a boy like the app headspace it is so cool 😎 and so relaxing 😌. Bye

Relaxing and Effortless. Awesome for being able to switch off and relax even for just 5 minutes a day

Great content - few small bugs. Content is fantastic, it’s great to see a legitimate rival to Headspace. Only issues I see is that it takes a while for the meditations to load when it opens, up to a minute. Not a big issue, but not a smooth experience. Another ‘simple’ mod would be the ability to turn off the next meditation in the series from automatically loading. Sometimes I’d like to sit in silence for a few minutes afterwards, so having that as a setting would be a great little addition! Hopefully a quick fix for the future!

It’s okay. I love this app and genuinely cultivate this in my daily life. While the content is good, I think the software has some glitches and issues sometimes. I find that “syncing” it with other devices, even with the same account, resets everything and that can be frustrating. I have saved playlists and streaks I had before syncing onto another phone, with the exact account details and none of them showed. It’s a bit disappointing and I guess discouraging too. Also, a lot of the free ones from months ago are all premium now. I understand some new ones and older premiums, but when they introduced the app, some playlists were just free for use. I do understand the teachers have to get paid and I have nothing against that. It’s just that it is getting more expensive with little good additions. Still helpful with the limited free ones, I guess.

EIGHT EMAILS IN SIX HOURS. WHY?!. I downloaded and signed up to this app and just before I went to sleep. In the six hours I was asleep, I literally woke up to eight seperate emails from Simple Habit... if it was two or three, fine, but EIGHT? WHY? They weren’t anything important, just pushing me to pay and upgrade to premium... What a surprise. Your marketing team sure know how to drive their consumers away. App already deleted. But hey, if you want to feel extra special and have your inbox bombarded with dozens of useless emails every single day, then I 100% recommend.

Amazing. The series on simple habit are amazing. So many incredibly beautiful meditation messages. I can’t thank the teachers and makers of this app more. In times where their is so much negative noise in the world this brings perspective & peace.

Beware large unauthorised charges without warning. Be warned: this app starts off nice, then after an unspecified period of time a surprise $140 charge is deducted from your iTunes account. No warning, no notice, no real clarity on this when you sign up. Check the fine print and you’ll find this practice is knowingly embedded for their profit. Update: if this has happened to you complain to anyone who will listen. There’s a class action lawsuit pending currently if you search for it so the makers are on notice; make sure you complain to them directly. While Apple refused me a refund, PayPal who I luckily set up to pay my iTunes agreed that the charges are snuck in by a practice that counts as unauthorised by the user and they refunded my payment in full. Don’t let this app fund luxury cars for the makers without holding them accountable; they’re marketing an app for people suffering from stress and other mental health issues and their practice should at the bare minimum be following basic consumer law.

Sound keeps dropping out. I just purchased this app and tried a few different yoga videos. The sound kept dropping out. I’d pause the video toggle the mute on and off. I would get it to work again but always it would fail with the audio again and again. It had a very stress inducing affect. My phone is less than 6 months old.

Would’ve been perfect if only it was a one-time payment or reasonably priced. I was having a really bad trouble sleeping and believe me, I’ve tried almost everything, from essential oil to sleeping pills. However, nothing helped as much as Simple Habit. I had never meditate before using Simple Habit, and even to this day, I still prefer guided meditation compared to doing it on my own because my mind would not stop thinking instead. I now use this almost every time I can’t sleep and I always fall asleep even before I finish the meditation. Honestly, I would love to pay for the premium version cause I genuinely believe that it’s helpful and want to support the Simple Habit team. However, I can’t justify paying almost $100/year for this. If this was a one-time payment or a subscription with a more reasonable price, I’d definitely purchase it. But for now, the free version would have to do (even though I end up doing the same meditation over and over again).

Helps me so much. I have so much restless sleep and never can get a good sleep. I have been struggling to find a good app that offers the lot music to meditation and everting imbertween. When I seen this app I wasent sure if it was going to work I played music the first night and fell asleep with in 20 minuets of playing witch means I was up for only 20 minuets usually I’m up for about 1 to two hours before I’m finally asleep. Thank you to the creators for making this app I love it so much and extremely useful.

Week 1. Well I’ve done week one and can say I really enjoy this app. I’m studying at the moment so it has helped me through each day especially when my brain gets clogged. I have already recommended it to 5 friends. Obviously as you do have to pay to get premium it’s only gotten 4 stars but other than that I love it. Plus...honestly there’s not much in life that’s free so these 5 minutes a day are great.

Best so far. I’ve tried this app as well as Headspace. Unlike Headspace this app has different narrators for guided meditations. It also has some great sounds for unguided meditations (water, surf, burning wood, chimes). Been using it for a week while in hospital and it helps. Should be part of the medication for all patients!

Simply a better life. During these months with Simple Habit , in many ways, this app simply helped me feeling greater.. in so many aspects of my life. Then of course, you have to want it but still if you’re ready, this app is THE app. Simply worthy, simply thanks.

Simple & abundant. Great app guys. So much selection to choose from for numerous purposes, with simple & beautiful features. As a regular user I would love to see a simpler menu with ‘My Playlists’ to avoid scrolling sideways through multiple favourites. It would be great to also see easily in ‘my’ menu: what is/isn’t downloaded, most played & filter within your own saved sections. ☺️🙏🏼

As name suggests. I love this app as it has option of 5,10,20 minutes of meditation which can be done everyday according to time we have. It helps to start a habit of meditation. It also have options of meditation in various time of the day like in morning, while commuting, after work & many more. I love it also because I am happy with its free part. It charges for some more meditation in it.

Best meditation app on the market. I believe that simple habit is the best of the large meditation apps available. I really enjoy the content however I do feel that it is overpriced. I would happily pay $60 per year or $150-$180 for lifetime membership but the close to $500 AUD for membership is too steep a price and I think it may be holding back the company from getting more purchasers.

Love it!. Before discovering simple habit, I was really skeptical about meditation. However they have great series and the teachers are amazing. It is totally worth a try and accomplishes its purpose.

Simple Habit. This app has helped me calm myself down when the day has been rough or when i am feeling stressed or tired. after using this for a few weeks now I am already feeling a change in my mind and concentration when I am doing things that are hard for me to focus in. This app is so incredibly helpful and you should definitely download it for free!!

Great app!!. Great app for meditation, relaxation and yoga. I love that you can search for a particular type of meditation, from mindfulness to getting ready for an exam. You can even refine search to time length, eg, 5 minutes, 10 minutes,... The only disappointment is the price. I saw $2 a week somewhere and that sounded totally reasonable. But the only payment option is $149 per year, and I just don’t have that right now. $2 a week, however, I can manage. Or even $15 a month would be ok.

Great Starter App. Great starter app. I just wish i can find one that i don’t have to pay for

Free trial only. The app lets you get deep into the registration and setup process before giving you any idea that it’s a (very expensive) paid service with just one week’s free trial, which you can’t even access without linking your payment account (clearly they rely on people forgetting to opt out of the $100 annual subscription). Not good practice.

Simply Simple. Easy to navigate

Great. App itself is great. Just wanted to offer feedback to suggest some privacy settings, such as Face ID when opening the app and/or option to clear history

Excellent!!. My absolute favourite meditation app!

This is NOT a free app. This is NOT a free app. It is free to download but anything after that you have to pay for. I used to have this app when it was free and I loved it to get some meditations but now they make you pay for every single thing, ridiculous.

👌. I love this app! Very easy to use, it's a great way to discover mindfulness and practice meditation, thank you! 👌

Slowing down - stress relieving. This app assisted me to sit back and take a breath and reflect.

Amazing but.... I love this app but they recently added sounds of rushing water and birds to the back of all the meditations. This is distracting for me... please make a way to turn it off!!!

Be prepare do to spend money before getting help. I would not recommend this app since it's overpriced, 19$/months. Unless you meditate daily and/or can afford it. Personally, I used Simple habits for more than a year. I recommended it to family and friends, and I often used it . However, not enough to pay the premium of 19$/months, which is absurdly expensive for meditating once every two weeks. Moreover, over the recent months, I realized that there was fewer and fewer free content, which is really disappointing especially since you classified your app as free. Plus, it kind of defies the purpose of mental health when your app is so expensive that people with anxiety and/or on the verge of a mental breakdown can’t have access to a quick free video to help them on your app. Your app that they choose on the basis that the app was free.

A wonderful add on for sleep.. I started using this Two ago for my mental health and sleep. It was need a wonderful addition to my addiction. I enjoy every part of this. Being able to access the helped with sleep as well. I cannot not afford a membership and would it itbif they were able to a few more sleep stories or short meditation.. I find with covid 19 I am doing an additional program. With covid 19 I would like to see free ones as there is such a need and a lot of people are not able to pay the cost of the membership. It's still a well put together app with beautiful pictures and stories for both children and adults.

Truly amazing meditations!. Loving Cory Muscara’s meditations and podcast ! :)

Great meditation. Great meditation but wayyy too expensive

Love the app. they have just enough free meditations but, it isn’t all free (they have to make money).

Great start. As a beginner in meditation I find this app quite helpful. In fact it feels more like a mental excercise and won’t clash with anyone’s religious beliefs. They are very short and you can download them, unlike some lengthy meditations on YouTube. These meditations have quick pick me up effect on days I don’t feel very good.

I’m not really sure…. Sometimes it makes me feel relaxed, but after 5 days, I don’t know… I can’t remove the friggin daily reminders, and some of the voices just creep me out.

Great app. Very calming. Only been using it a few days but I see change in my life how I feel and feel so much calmer now def download it.

Love it. Love the app. Helps with sleep all the time. Only wish: if only everything could be free. I know that that’s probably the only income source though so its fine

Simple & Life-changing. The simplest way to begin including meditation into your life. There are lots of meditations to choose from and more are added all the time. I LOVE the movement component, as well as, the self-improvement classes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great App!. I’ve been using Simple Habit for several years now. It has a very wide selection of meditations, and a lot of choice of different teachers / styles, so you can really pick based on your preferences. The App is user friendly and the content is often updated. I started meditating with Simple Habit and I’ve never found a better App since. I’m definitely a fan!

Life changing. This app has absolutely changed life. I feel peace, happiness and a substantially less amount of stress as a result of using these guided meditations daily.

Theives. They stole money from my accout more than 100$ and I’ve requested for a refund I didn’t even have the app!!

Add repeat feature !. There should be a repeat button/ feature that allows continuous replay instead of having to continuously manually restart your favourite meditations.

Love!. This app got meditating daily. I happily pay the premium account. I love how you can filter to your needs and select short meditation by type and length. Changed my meditation practice!

Great. awesome, customer service was so fast and high quality meditations! lots of mediations to choose from!

typical. typical, they wait till you put in all your info and THEN tell you the cost. Why not be honest and tell you upfront?

Simple Habits helps me be present and stop ruminating.. I love Simple Habit. Sometimes I have severe anxiety and I find the meditations here to be so helpful and grounding. This is huge for me because sometimes just the thought of having anxiety causes me more anxiety so these meditations stop the spiral. Also, I LOVE that I can choose 5, 10, 20 ect minutes of meditation which helps me to feel in control and less overwhelmed. Highly recommend. Sincerely, M.

Amazed. After my 𝓕𝓘𝓡𝓢𝓣 time on this app I felt like I had ᑎᗴᐯᗴᖇ felt before. Clean on the inside. If I could change one thing it would be that I could use it all day every day. But I cannot. So it is my calm down before bed. I recomend this to 🅔🅥🅔🅡🅨🅞🅝🅔!!! 😀😇😘 Thank you Simple Habits!!! Edit: i read the comments saying no free trial. And tou automatically go to priemium. 🅦🅡🅞🅝🅖. You can keep it free by hitting skip at either the top right or left cornee when it asks you to subscribe!!!

Simple Habit. It is a magnificent meditation app, well worth the money, and much better than many out there. Highly recommend it.

Consumer be aware. The subscription is none refundable even if you make a mistake in purchasing or if you are not happy with your purchase within 24 hrs. Plus they don’t disclose that they charge in US dollar even though you purchase from Canada

Criminal subscription fee. Nobody tells you or warns you that if you download this app you will pay a HUGE amount of money $134 to subscribe. I wanted to just trial this app and it charged me and there is no refund. It is insane a meditation app for anxiety has caused me so much more anxiety. I am disgusted with the lack of refund.

OTG SERIES - BRING BACK!. Please, please, please bring back the OTG series!!

Message To The Owner. I loved when you cried on Shark Tank, it was very entertaining for all of us. Looked like you peed yourself a little too 🤨💀 Im so sorry he caller you a gold digger, even tho you rejected a 15 percent valuation, 2 shar- never mind, you were totally their for publicity. Anyways, I tried the app, bro got me peeing my pants as well. This is not a false rating, my opinion always wins. I cried when i found this app just like when she cried in shark tank.

Charged even though I cancelled. In the process of trying to find a medication app and trialed this one. Canceled before the week was up and they still charged me. Then when I tried to get a reimbursement, they took a processing fee.

Excellent. Thank you for helping me on my journey of personal growth!

Simple Habit. This is really helping me to relax and just slow things down. I’m a hockey goalie and this is helping me perform better.

Love it. Recommend if you are going through any type of stress pain !

Wish I could rate it higher!. I was a little skeptical when a friend told me about this app because I am a long time meditator and I usually prefer a more traditional silent meditation rather than guided, but the moment I downloaded the app I felt so excited to begin using it everyday. The layout is easy to use and the endless amounts of guided meditations, stories, coaching etc. have me looking forward to my meditation every time I wake up. The price for the app is WELL WORTH IT and I tell everyone of my friends about it. I am happier, more balanced, and still learning new things every time I open the app.

Nothing at all unless you pay? And $532.77 the first option.. Not for me! I thought you would at least get to sample a sound bite - make a couple of things free so I can see what it’s like. I like that even though they won’t give you one 5 minute meditation to try, and the first option is to buy a $399 (US assuming even though we are in Canada, so it would be $532.27 right now) BEFORE you get one thing! Huh! That is such a nice new agey approach. Go elsewhere. There are great aps out there for less.

Fall sleep quickly. I’ve been using this app for three years I am extremely satisfied with the effects that I get and I hope simple hammers stay around for many many more years

A great app. I’m grateful for the great work simply habit team is doing. It reminds that there are still kind people in this world.

NO TRIAL!. Dont even get to hear a 30 second sample? The download is free and asks you questions to personalize your results then expects you to pay up $130 CAD. Haha. Back to youtube it is.

Had to answer personal questions after already done when I bought the app. These questions were answered when I bought the app over a year ago. I wasted all my meditating time answering them again and the app would not let me out of answering them and go straight to my meditation. Stuck in their line of questions. Bad move on their part. Very frustrating. One wrong click and I was stuck. 😙

Helpful App. It really helped me to sleep using the meditation tracks , it is like magic for me , 5 minutes only and it put me to sleep each time NB: there is a-lot of free tracks to try which encouraged me to try not like other Apps that I have to pay for even try it.

Scammed. Ridicules. Wanted to just try the seven days and I thought it was pretty cool. But all of a sudden I get charged for the FULL year without warning. Non refundable. Need to cancel sub 24 hours before it renews. Thanks for putting that in the fine print of the email. I WONT be recommending this app.

Meditation. I have been using meditation throughout my life to help me decompress from the everyday but the coaching is totally beneficial and help keep me focused and stay in a calm state. Thank you

Good App, But....... When the app was on shark tank, they exposed this person as a gold digger, who just wanted some extra cash, and already had over 2 million dollars. If the woman cared more about the users/customers, and not the $ this would be 4 stars!

Great app. Really enjoying it so far

Easy Peasy. Very user friendly and easy to use. I would recommend this for anyone who is wanting to discover mindfulness. I've tried other mindfulness apps but this one blows them all away.

Disappointed. I’ve used this app for a very long time because I found meditations I enjoyed and they always helped me sleep. Suddenly today I am unable to listen to those meditations anymore because it says I’ve used my three free meditations! I’ve never ever had that. Previous to today you got certain meditations for free and others had to be paid for. I’m so disappointed that this was taken away. Once again, more disappointment. A thought they fixed the above issue, now for whatever reason, meditations that you could listen to for 5/10/20 minutes are now only 5 minutes long without the option to hear a longer version. 5 minutes isn’t helpful because you barely start to relax and then it ends. Bring back the longer meditation times! Stop making changes that don’t benefit your customers.

The app is great with one big flaw. There are a lot of really good meditation guides and the app is easy to use. However, one thing that is really terrible is the music at the end after the mediation is up. This really is a terrible way to end the mediation and it is the same thing every time. So no matter what type of meditation you do you have to hear this piano music at the end. Same with the beginning of every mediation being a little clip of music and someone saying a tagline “Simple Habit. A daily vacation for your mind.” It would be so vastly improved if this stuff was removed. We are already in the app and don’t need a reminder that this is “Simple Habit. A daily vacation for your mind.” It may be petty, but this could be a deal breaker for me even though the app and the mediations within it are great.

Truly enjoyable app. I have been a member of Simple Habit for around 3 years and I definitely found the app useful in my everyday life. There’s not only great guided meditation for people at all different skill levels and who have many different time availabilities but, there’s also great stories, and my personal favorite, amazing coaching. I, personally recommend this app to those in need of some sorta change in their lives. Especially if you’re having trouble figuring out what that change may be, I suggest you take this comment (if you’re reading it) as a synchronicity in the form of helping you figure out a great place to start that change… peace

Really nice. I've only been using it a few days but I actually look forward to doing a short meditation when I first wake up. The interface is absolutely beautiful, if that kind of thing is important to you. Even with all the other meditation and mindfulness apps out there I plan to stick with this one at least for now. ... Now I've been using it daily for 3 months and I still love it. My suggestion would be to add more than just one option for background noise. Currently it's a laughing bird. Listen and you'll understand. Also, sometimes 5 mins isn't enough. Some of the sessions allow for 10-15 min "extensions" but not all. I'd like to see longer options for all sessions.

This ADHD Brain Is Impressed. I heard meditation was good for ADHD, but sitting still for even 5min seemed impossible and pointless to try. I am not an avid app user, rarely leave a review, never pay a subscription or send app recommendations. I have done all of these things with Simple Habit. I love it, and have seen significant growth in just my first month. I expected to ditch the trial because I fell on hard times and STILL kept it because it’s so good for me. It has variety, something for everyone and everything, and is easy to use. I can honestly say I’ve never liked an app so much, and never though I would say it about one for meditation. I look forward to seeing this app grow even more.

Helps me cope. 2020 was a very rough year for me, like many others. My therapist had recommended this app to me prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and I had used it occasionally, but I started using it more consistently in 2020. This app has helped me find better ways to cope with anxiety and depression than I had been using before. I try to begin my day with a positive meditation, then occasionally need to use the shorter meditations for quick relief during a hectic work day. While this app is slightly expensive, I appreciate that Simple Habit is paying their meditation teachers. I am happy to pitch in to that effort.

Worth every cent!. This is by far the best meditation app I have ever used (and it’s been many). There’s a meditation for every mood, emotion, situation you could possibly experience. If you don’t click with one instructor you can choose a different one. I never thought I’d be willing to pay for any meditation app but after the trial of this one was over I was so hooked I gladly pay the nominal price for this. Plus the developers are the sweetest people ever. Even the instructors respond to comments and listen to feedback. Not one bad thing to mention about this app. I’ve turned my whole circle of family and friends on to it and would turn the whole world on to it if I could.

Thankful. I’ve never meditated in my life. I deal with a lot of anxiety and depression on a daily basis. I’ve tried multiple outlets to help subside each anxiety attack and breakdown I would have, but nothing has helped as much as meditating. I know you can meditate without an app, but this app has helped me appreciate and stick to meditation. The walkthrough of each session and the support each session gives you is very helpful. Thus far I haven’t had any issues with the app working or anything of that sort. Very thankful and appreciative of what this app does for me. I recommend this app to anyone who is curious about meditation and wanting to try it out.

Really Helpful!. Found this on the App Store in August and decided to give it a try and now I’ve been using it ever since! There are so many meditations available for so many different situations, even without subscribing to premium. I only just paid for Premium due to the Black Friday sale and wanting to make a larger commitment to meditation. I never write reviews but decided to because I really do appreciate this app and have been able to achieve a higher state of mental wellness through using it. No matter what theme meditations you’re looking for, there are plenty available for free that really helped me and could help you too!

A Really Excellent Meditation App. I have a number of meditation apps on my phone and after using SimpleHabit I decided I had to many and deleted it. Shortly after I received an email from a real person. She said they were disappointed I had left and felt it was important for them to understand why. I wrote and honestly told her. She thanked me and hoped I’d give it another chance. That was it, no pressure. So this morning I used the app and decided I’m keeping it, and using it. During this mornings short meditation, within a minute of starting, the meditator explained the wandering/racing/always thinking mind/brain. He gave me a comfort level that it’s ABSOLUTELY normal. I needed to hear this because I felt like I was doing something wrong. Hearing this as a beginning meditator, it allowed me to focus on meditating instead of spending so much time trying to figure out how to quiet my mind. So tomorrow will be my first time. I will no longer be sidetracked by my thoughts. Thank You Dori (from SimpleHabit)

Lifesaver !. My elementary aged son and I use this app and its absolutely wonderful! He has ADHD and suffers from tics when under stress, anxiety or too much excitement. He listens to a calming session and it brings him down to a calming level. He uses the breathing techniques when he’s at school. I use the calming anxiety for my GAD and it assists me wonderfully. We both use the sleeping better sessions. I put it on for him and even though it’s a 20min session, he falls asleep in 5 mins or less. When I use it I fall asleep in mins! Their voices are soothing and if you really release yourself into it, it’ll truly help. Also, it’s not expensive compared to sessions in a therapists or life coaches office. I wish they billed me monthly and not a whole lump sum that would equal out to a low monthly price.

Perfect. I have been meditating off and on for 15 years, I have tried every meditation app and for me, this one is perfect. I love all of the teachers - all have great voices, speaking sincerely and not trying to sound overly calming which I find annoying. I love that there are so many short options to choose from at 5 minutes, I find myself doing several per day! And there are also basic longer practices too. I also love that you can start more than one series at once (on some you can’t do this) and continue each whenever you want. This is the first time I feel happy to pay for a premium membership because there is so much great content and it’s a joy to use.

Nice way to meditate. I saw Shark Tank when your CEO creator pitched the sharks. I tried the free app and found it helped me to fall asleep on several occasions. I wanted to try the premium app but the $9.99 a month cost turned me away. Then you sent me an email about a Groupon special and I decided to give it a try. I haven’t regretted it. Your administration should consider lowering the cost of the app. More users hardly costs you anything, and the net profits go directly to the bottom line. Many people who need this app “simply” can not afford that $9.99 monthly cost. We are all turning into a subscribe society, sign up and paying each month without second guessing the cost-if it’s reasonable. Love the app and wish more could enjoy the benefits.

I love Simple Habit!. I was looking for an app to help me get into mindfulness and meditation, and I stumbled across Simple Habit. I tried out a few 5-minute sessions and became quickly frustrated because I felt I wasn’t “doing it right” and it “just wasn’t working” for me. Nevertheless, I continued to practice a couple of times a day for the rest of that week and sooner than I thought, I was feeling the benefits of living in the present. Now, as a psychologist in training, I am listening to multiple sessions a day and have incorporated mindfulness into my routine (even before a session with a client to ensure that I am completely present for them)! I absolutely recommend this app for anyone and everyone!

Daily Escape. I completely love this app. Is my go to app in the morning and before going back to work from lunch. Sometimes whenever I’m feeling anxious (which is a lot) after work It helps me calm down. Cory is my favorite instructor and his voice soothes me to calmness. My only issue is the little selection on the “free” spectrum. While i would love to get the paid subscription, I do think that the “free” library should be expanded for those whom cannot for x or y reason afford the subscription. Nothing big, if is just 5mins sessions to at least get a little experience of what could a longer paid session could be . Apart from that, this app is definitely worth it.

Missing features. Used to enjoy this app a lot more before the most recent updates. A lot of the content is still good, but the lack of attention to the features within the app makes me hesitant to recommend to other friends. The challenge badges portion (signifying you’ve meditated for a whole consecutive month) were removed -which was awesome motivation; the comments session is clogged with nonsensical comments/replies from users that don’t take feedback seriously, and you still can’t click on the notifications to find the comment for which you’re being notified. If I hadn’t paid for the premium life-time subscription I probably would‘ve cancelled it already.

Mehh. I used to use Simple Habit to help me fall asleep at night. It really helped and I got better sleep. The sleep series I really liked were free which was great. Then I thought I didn’t need meditation anymore and deleted the app. Decided to redownload the app because I’ve been having trouble going and staying asleep. Went back to those series and only 2 were free and the rest were premium. That’s how everything on the app is now. I’d buy premium but I don’t have a lot of money and it’s $7.99 a month! Overall $90 a year and it’s a $90 payment right away! I get they want some profit but the price used to be so much cheaper. Definitely DON’T recommend if you don’t have a decent amount of money to spend on it. Will be finding another meditation app until they fix some of these things. Going to miss the meditations and the teachers, they were really great.

Wish Premium wasn’t the end-all be-all. I’ve really enjoyed this app. There’s lots of versatility and variety in the sessions, ranging from music to podcasts to guides meditations. I appreciate there being choices regarding length of time - 5 minutes is not so daunting, but 10 minutes is. But, two things: 1. There’s no point in falling in love with a series or set of sessions...the odds are really good that after the first few, the rest of series will be locked to you unless you pay the Premium prices. I get it, everyone’s got to make the money. But I spend more time looking for all the “free” series than I probably do looking for meditation sessions that actually would fit me best. 2. Wish there were a way to “love” the sessions I really get something out of. Once you listen to something, it drops off the radar unless you scroll through your “Listened To” feed...but even that’s not foolproof. There needs to be something in the profile section called Favorites or something. I’d love to be able refer back to sessions I enjoyed, maybe even with notes I’d taken on the sessions, speaker’s voice, etc.

Meditation an Cory Muscara. I find this app to be great. I personally purchased it an have found it to be well worth it. If I’m experiencing a certain situation I can find a meditation to help...sometimes you may have to repeat same day several times to get it to stay within. I feel if you work at it it’s truly helpful. I highly recommend Cory Muscara 31 day podcast an manage to find time for it every day. I will repeat is as there is so much great information into getting you out of that negative thought habit. I have struggled with that for years and now I’m learning to change that thought pattern and what is really true in my thoughts. Thank you for this wonderful app!!

So disappointed. I’ve been using this app for probably over a year now, and have even paid the $12 monthly premium membership a couple times when I had the money. Now all the sudden they’ve blocked their ENTIRE app behind a pay wall. As if everyone doesn’t have it hard enough right now. I’ve read countless of other reviews saying the same thing. They trick you with “unlocked” meditations only to bring up this pay wall. They’ve lost plenty of business with this, and I’m sure it’ll just keep coming. Like you can’t even add in a couple pop up advertisements for money? You have to block it all with a $90 year sub? Really disappointing because this is truly a great app even when you don’t have access to everything. I had a feeling a couple months ago that I should screen record my favorite meditations for this exact reason. I’m honestly so sad.

$90 are you joking???. I thought this app looked decent, good UX but like most apps you never have as much time as you would like to evaluate them or if they are amazing , sometimes you just go right for it and snap up a yearly discount. This was not the case. I have probably 8 meditation apps on my phone. Some free some that I’ve been paying $4-$7 a month for the past year. Then I see iTunes charge me $89!! And for this app? There is no app in existence that id pay $90 for. Let alone an app that coaches me on something i already know how to do. I’ve emailed support twice. I know it costs money to make an app, I have a digital marketing company, but you have to get in line with the pricing ! $90 is a lot of money to some people. And I would like you to return it to me immediately. When you do I will change this review to note that you responded and did the honorable thing .

Here’s the thing. I’ve been using this app on and off for over a year. Before the update, I loved the wheel interface bc it made it easier to be able to quickly find meditations that matched my needs in that moment and choose the length of time that worked best for me. While the content is still really good, there’s less control to get straight to what I want or need and a lot more having to search around and sift through options which takes me away from getting into the daily practice. Also, I get premium is how you make $ but it’s beyond annoying to constantly be served up premium options when you’re just trying to get consistent enough in your practice to decide if the investment would pay off.

Wellness plan?? Or wellness meditation?. When the app had me put in all these answers for a wellness score, I was excited to see what simple habit had cooked up. I eagerly got my score and it told me I needed to work on my soul, great! I did the weeklong meditation, and it was awesome. Here comes the issue though. Since I completed that meditation series a week ago, my main screen is still that meditation saying to complete your 7-day wellness plan, and my still-low, unaffected-by-the-wellness-plan, soul score. I’m just wondering if this is all you all are going to offer for a $75+ yearly subscription. A lot of my friends have had better experiences with other meditation apps for almost half of the yearly subscription cost here... can I get an answer to this: is there more to the wellness plan, and why should I stay with this app?

Wonderfully Supportive. I scoffed at the idea of meditation...humming and touching your index finger to your thumb, right? But here, these trained professionals guide you through without pressure, pretentious attitudes, or money schemes. The app seems to be developed by those genuinely seeking to help others. You WANT to continue the series because being able to calm your panic or stress (rather than relying on others) is an invaluable skill and you actually feel relief. Without a doubt, I’ll be signing up for their subscription because it is an affordable release for my brain. Between class, hoops for higher education, a social life, and other responsibilities, I hardly get time to breathe and don’t even realize it until it’s too much. That’s where this app comes in.

Worth every penny. For the last 5 years I have struggled with anxiety and it was detrimental to my education, relationships, work, etc.. I found it hard to do things I enjoyed without feeling crippling anxiety. Someone had recommended meditation and I never could get into it. I tried multiple apps like headspace and calm but it never worked. Finally I came across this beautiful creation. This app has a simple step by step approach that has really done wonders. I feel like a whole new person. Medication free because of meditation with this app. I went ahead and bought the full version because every penny is worth it when I’m living a happier and healthier life. It is truly, with this app, a simple habit. Thank you for changing my life one meditation at a time.

Relaxing sounds the opposite of relaxing. I will start by saying I did not pay for the extra features, so I cannot speak to those. As for the free features, my specific complaint is that the sounds meant to help me relax/fall asleep ended up aggravating me more. This was due to one single sound that appeared in every single option. I’m not knowledgeable enough to know what it is, but let’s just say it’s a cricket(?). It did not seem appropriate in some cases like the airplane or train ride simulations since those aren’t outdoor experiences...? It was too distracting and disrupted the flow for me. The meditation bits I tried kind of went nowhere. However I am a novice to meditating, so it’s possible I am misunderstanding what the goal is. Otherwise it was very user-friendly and well-designed. I gave this amount of stars mostly because the content did not suit my needs.

Greatful Cancer Warrior. I’m very greatful to have seen this app on shark tank. I’ve been trying to learn meditation for a while through other videos on the internet but usually just ended up falling asleep (not really my goal:). When I was Simple habit it was like a lightbulb lit up and I had the app loaded before the episode of shark-tank finished. I have been using it everyday since. I’m am currently a stage 4 cancer warrior and it’s is part of my regime as I’m doing a lot of non traditional treatments. I use it to control pain, anxiety, depression and strengthening my body to fight on its own. I have learned so much about meditation and directing my thoughts. I am truly greatful everyday for this app and the teachers I can access. Take care....

good content but needs updates. I emailed support maybe 2 months ago about an issue on the Meditate tab, as the categories that are supposed to show up are just blank, randomly-shaped bubbles. they eventually responded, but the problem remains. they also haven’t updated social media in MONTHS (ironically, after they posted messages saying they wouldn’t be silent after the events of this summer). maybe they’re slowly but surely closing down shop? there are other apps with better communication & updates, so I’d recommend those instead. (also, a random change that wasn’t welcomed: I set reminders for a specific time each morning. instead, they now just randomly pop up on my screen whenever I first open my phone in the morning. I set a specific time because I want that specific time; don’t have a time option if you’re going to ignore it.)

Superior to other meditation apps. I tested a few very popular mindfulness/meditation apps (Headspace, Calm) and could not connect with the speakers’ voices. I also didn’t feel inspired by most of the subject matter of the meditations - so I never went further than the free trial period. I found Simple Habit online and immediately liked that I could search subjects like “morning,” or “work stress” to find relevant individual or series meditations. There is much more variety than I even expected. There has been one instructor whose voice I’m not keen to, so I just focus on the side array of other options. This is an excellent app and makes meditation easy and peaceful.

Great!. Really enjoy using this app! I know I speak for a lot of people but having meditations I am fit into my busy schedule is a god send but more importantly meditations that are short enough to remember doing since I have a habit of forgetting or deciding not to be bothered... my only issue with this app is the price for premium is a bit steep at the $95 payment made upfront for yearly access. I received the 2 week subscriptions after sharing with a friend so I’ll be purchasing it in the future I just wish there were other pricing options, or perhaps bundle packs for cheaper prices since spending $100 on an app so fast is a little hard to do

Would be even better with one more filter!. I love this app, it’s the only meditation app that I consistently use and think is worth the subscription cost. Best variety of meditations on an app I’ve tried. One thing I’d love to see is a way to filter by meditation position. For example, if I’m going for a walk I’d like to see all the meditations that can be done while walking. If I’m standing on the bus, I don’t want to do a meditation only for it to start by saying “let’s lie down for this one” lol. I think being able to sort by meditations that can be done sitting, standing, lying down, walking, or all of the above would make this app even better!!

Truly Amazing. I had been going through major anxiety and I constantly would overthink the simplest things. It was like I was stuck in my own head. Which was making me very unhappy with my life and I wasn’t sure what to do. So my friend offered me this app, and not only can I say it was life changing, but opened my eyes to the world and myself. This app not only brought me ease and helped me overcome my problems, but also helped me contact to my body, my mind, and the life around me. I am truly thankful to have an app that brings me such peace and such happiness. Thank you so much. You don’t know how much of a difference you have made in my life.

Excellent App, Life-changing Results. I love this app. I’d been struggling to develop a meditation practice for health and Simple Habit has been the answer. I’ve learned so much from the various meditation leaders and I love sharing it with others. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review is because of the user experience. First is that the search can be improved. I know there’s a guided meditation for a variety of topics like “exam” (in fact it has “exam” in the title) but it doesn’t come up under “exam” or “test”. I’m careful to save anything that looks interesting because they can sometimes be hard to find again. Second, you can save a meditation or series but there’s no favorites list. I have to keep a separate list for specific meditations I like to go back to and it’s very cumbersome. Lastly, for a series, please indicate within the list which meditations have been completed. Sometimes I skip around or only do part of a series in favor of another that’s more relevant at the moment. Other than that, the app is very pretty with incredible topics and coaches (Kate’s voice is beautiful and now triggers me to breathe, thanks Kate!). With gratitude, M

This has changed my life. It’s rare when I post reviews, but I feel like this is necessary. I’m a 27yo in graduate school, I was also working two jobs, all while trying to combat my anxiety and depression. I had tried meditation in the past, but I did not have all the tools to properly meditate. My psychologist recommended this to me, and now I’m working on doing daily meditation. It has helped me better self-reflect on my levels of patience and kindness while also giving me tools for when I anxious/overthinking. Also, I am generally not into paying for subscriptions, but I feel like I’ve been getting my money’s worth. I truly do recommend it.

PLEASE HELP - charged and cannot access premium meditations :(. I was charged 90$ for this app for premium with out my permission which i was like ok this is a sign i should do this more. So now i’m trying to do the meditations which i absolutely love and they’re helping me, but i STILL don’t have access to the premium meditations which i paid for. I’m trying to find someone to contact and talk on the phone with but it’s impossible. just trying to better myself by meditation and once again I LOVE the meditations i’ve already done i just wish i was able to access the ones i paid for :( if you work for simple habits please help me!

Incredible Invention of An App 9/10. Just starting to use will update review after further use. I’m loving the way this app is built and structured and how they put things infront of you and even in the settings page there is, The Science Of Meditation and that right there after my first 3 meditations that was more than enough “Why’s” as to why this should be a practice everyone takes part in and “Why” this app is definitely the best one to do it. The only Reason i’m not giving it 10/10 is because there is a subscription $ I understand and I completely want to support and “Back” this Company and its project and “Impact” it wants to make but I think that Support i want to give should be “Optional”

great for spirituality. omg this app literally is sO helpful. i pay attention to more things around me and actually stay off my phone much more. meditation has given me a huge purpose in life & simple habit helps me connect to my spirituality. essential oils, crystals, dimmed lights & guided meditation have become my go to for a stressful day or even just a self love session ❤️ the premium is literally the BEST $96 i have ever spent -16 yo female student ONE REQUEST: it would be super amazing to have an easier way to see my list of meditations. i have noticed that when i add a new meditation the oldest one will disappear from the list :/ maybe a separate page for lists? and we could make multiple (sleep list, romance list etc)? would be amazing xoxo ❤️❤️

Value diminishing quickly. I bought this app over a year ago after seeing it on Shark Tank and used it every night to help my 10 year old son relax and go to sleep. We looked forward to the meditations, had our favorite narrators and my son mimicked the jingle, “a daily vacation for your mind” in his best Australian accent. While we quickly ran out of new 5 minute sleep meditations to try, I upgraded so that we would have access to more. Seemed like a worthwhile purchase since we listened every night. Recently, without notice, Simple Habit is holding our meditations for ransom. You can no longer listen to a full series (even a series you had access to before). On the third meditation of a series, you get a message that you have to upgrade to have access. Simply Horrible. Building your business on the backs of loyal customers instead of having the smarts and creativity to get new users is not cool and I am going to drop my subscription.

Amazing for anxiety and depression. Even though I have pretty bad ADHD and have a hard time keeping a consistent schedule with meditation, every time I sit down, even for 5 mins, to listen to a mediation, my day feels so much more manageable. Whenever I feel lost or upset, these guided meditations are one of my go to sources of relief. Even if you don’t think you’d like mediation, just try it for 3 days. It’s incredible how different you can feel by getting out of your head and focusing on your whole body. The app is also really easy to navigate and well organized which I love. Highly recommend!

I was going to give 5 stars... BUT...... Honestly, I haven’t used the app. I downloaded it because I just watched the Shark Tank episode and was drawn in by Yuhna Kim’s story, determination and belief in her product. I was ‘encouraged’ by Mark Cuban’s ‘discouraging’ behavior. However, when I went online to look up Ms. Kim’s name, I came across the “Open Letter to Simple Habit: Can You Really Rip Off Other Startups Mindfully?” Upon reading it, I had to laugh to myself because television had played on me and my empathy once again... AND, I had actually downloaded the Headspace app 2 weeks ago.... which I was prepared to delete. Honestly... I don’t know what is true and what is not. But I have never seen the Sharks come at someone the way that they did you... and I now, I am guessing that their behavior was based off some legitimate “friends and family” tip and that their behavior was well warranted. With that being said, thanks for the free month, but I won’t be continuing my membership and will continue to use Headspace and check out Whil. I might even look into Buddifhy. As one of the people that needs help from disabling anxiety and PTSD... one of the people that you so openly became teary-eyed talking about: it is people like you, that take advantage of; with your ulterior motives to get ahead that feed the life altering anxieties of people like me.

Maybe life saver (or extender). Strong words but this app is a life saver for me. I was recently diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, ocd and removed attachment disorder. I’ve been Blessed in my life but these things have plagued me for most of my life due to childhood traumas. I don’t want to take medication as I believe the mind is powerful, concerns of long term affects and I have make a decent life coping (Well, living) with these things but mentally exhausted. I have been doing this for a week now with 4 sessions a day. What I have learned has been wonderful and so helpful. You have of take it to heart and apply what you learn . My anxiety doing simple task like brushing teeth, mowing lawn and even driving have been reduced by 80%. I will continue to do this as I can only imagine where I can be in a year from now.

Amazing!. I love love love this app! It brings a peace to my day I didn’t even know I had. With the stress of our lives today it’s something I look forward to every single day! You can meditate anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, and there are so many sessions to choose from! Meditation is such a needed exercise in today’s society, and Simple Habit gives you a personalized way to do it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for ANYONE!! This app is worth your time! Just to note, some sessions are blocked because you need to buy the Premium package. I was a little sad to hear this, as some of the sessions I want to listen to are unavailable without Premium. However, there are so many other sessions available, it’s a minor setback!

Love the app. I absolutely love this app. The only complaint that I have is while doing the June challenge, it did not count June 23. I’m guessing it was b/c I only did 7 minutes instead of my usual 40 minutes+; multiple times a day. So now my count is stuck at 22 in the challenge and 2 on the daily streak. Disappointed. Dropped in rank. I still love the app. I have referred several of my friends and they too love this app, and use it daily. I tried app support but there isn’t one. If you click the link for app support in the Apple store it takes you to the home page it a support page. I guess I’ll have to try July’s challenge and be sure to never be too busy to do just 7 minutes again.

Favorite meditation app!. I’m writing my first review ever to give this app five stars. If you download any of the other top-rated meditation apps, you’re inevitably going to have to pay for it because there are maybe three things that are free to use. On this app, there is so much free content to browse. It almost convinces me more to pay so I can unlock the rest. Every night, I either listen to heavy thunderstorm, a nighttime guided meditation, or a bedtime story. I cannot praise this app enough. it really comes in handy on those days where you just need to take a break, or you’re having a hard time falling asleep.

Finally achieved daily practice. For years, I’ve known how helpful mindfulness could be in my high stress elementary school job. I’ve wanted to meditate to help reduce anxiety and gain mental clarity. This app helped me control my anxiety, find equanimity, focus on gratitude, fall back to sleep in the middle of the night, & relieve pain from headaches and colds. It is a fantastic tool for those of us who need daily reminders & encouragement with a little external motivation such as badge awards. Considering the high quality of the meditation experts and app performance, I consider the price very reasonable. It has helped me finally achieve a daily meditation practice, and I catch myself slowing down to breathe, focus on gratitude, or pause to ground myself before transitioning from work to home, etc.

Amazing App and Content. I have started my journey with the internal family systems therapy or IFS. The premise of the therapy is to understand that are composed of parts , these are called protectors and exiles. The protector is the entity that protects the wounded exile, and therefore reacts a certain way to avoid further pain. The exile hides behind the protector. I have come to the conclusion that our parts developed reactionary habits. They have been reacting a certain way for years and therefore this is the only way they know to defend their exile. Since parts react out of habit (my own opinion by the way), I would then assume that we must understand the parr’s habit in order to help it acquire a new habit that defines a new way to look at things. The SELF manages the protectors through consent and awareness, and therefore needs to be able to be present and know that parts are trying to blend with it. This app has been a really good way to work on new habits of awareness to help the SELF become more aware. The content is great offering a wide range of options through out the day, the meditations are really well thought out, and the navigation is intuitive. Thank you for the wonderful tool.

For the 1st time ever I can say an APP has helped change my life!. I believe this is my first review ever written because I usually just don’t take the time to do it unless something really impressed me! I’m a Prek teacher and of course frazzled, exhausted and a little grouchy by the time I get home to my own kids each day. I have bad insomnia and terrible anxiety on some days. But I made a promise to myself that I would at least do 5 mins a day and that was 115 days ago! I do much more than 5 mins now and it has completely changed my life! It’s not a magic pill but if you are ready and you work at this very simple practice it can help you in all areas of your life too. ! I urge you to give the paid monthly subscription a try it’s totally worth it!!! Thanks so much Simple Habit !!

Montlypay2win. This app has some great meditations in it and I was all set to pay into it. Every meditation app I have ever used offered monthly and yearly options. Turns out, there is a first time for everything. Without the pay monthly option, I will unfortunately be taking my money elsewhere, as I don’t have the funds (thanks to my extreme anxiety issues, the exact thing I downloaded this for) to pay 90 dollars up front. What a bummer! And again, this isn’t about getting things for free. I would have happily paid a smaller monthly fee. I hope one day to cross paths with this app again and find you added some options for the people you are trying to reach.

Life changing. This app is amazing and well worth the money. I discovered it when I got a new iPhone and tried it out for a bit and immediately felt the changes. I was able fall asleep so much easier and faster with the sleep meditations and wake up feeling like I had actually slept for the first time in forever. Meditating on the bus and waking around the city and what not gave me a whole new perspective on the world around me. The meditation guides challenge you to think about perspective you may experience in life and to reflect on your feelings in such beneficial ways. This app helps me to get into meditation and overall helped my process of becoming a happier, healthier and more relaxed carefree person. Thank you simple habit!

Would love OTG available again. I have been using this app for three months now. Moving to a new city and walking to the subway and riding the subway, OTG was very helpful. Having a quick escape during work was helpful as well. Having it taken away was a bit jarring to be honest. I'm weaning off my medications because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant and was thrilled at first to have found this app to supplement therapy. I love the app overall and do find it better than Headspace. After reading other comments and responses I truly hope that OTG will become available for free again as it sounds like it has been helpful for others as well. Thank you so much for this great app and service!

Amazing. I don’t ever write reviews but I had to for this because the customer service was phenomenal. Dori especially. When I had an issue with my credit card signing up, I got an email response back right away from Dori apologizing for the mishap and giving me 2 weeks free of premium. Now that my 2 weeks are over I emailed asking if I could still receive the 50% off promo that was going on when I first tried signing up a few weeks ago. She emails me back right away with a link giving me the promotion even though it’s technically not going on anymore. Not only is the customer service outstanding but the variety of meditation selections are endless. I fall asleep every night so easily with this ap. And relax during the day whenever I need to. Flawless 👌🏼
