GO OFF GRID - No data/reception? No problem. Scenic’s offline maps mean you can go where others turn back.

KNOW YOUR RIDE - Scenic not only navigates you, it also logs your location, speed, and elevation - helping you relive every moment, track your progress, and challenge your friends.

SHARE THE ADVENTURE - Leave pictures and comments for other riders in the app, get a personalized web page of your routes and rides, or share your journey straight to social media.

* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Lots of potential and lots of bugs. I really want to love this app. Every time I use it, I find lots of great roads that I didn’t know about. Also every time that I use it, the app will route me in circles or tell me to go in a certain direction and then want me to make a u-turn. I always wear gloves when I ride so I can’t make corrections when the app crashes on me. I have to pull over, take off my gloves and try to fix the issue. I even upgraded to the premium version hoping that this would help. It didn’t. So I have to change my review from 2 stars to 4. As I said, I loved the app but had issues with it sometimes routing me in circles. I reached out to the developer and received a response with in an hour. He told me how to work around the bugs until he releases the next update in a few months. At least, he does stand behind his product.

Essentially the best Motorcycle Route Planning and Nav App. Let’s face bikers spend lots of money on gear without question - but we get so annoying when we have to pay a few dollars for an app- we think everything should be free- well I am embarking on a 2000+ mile journey from New Orleans to Montreal and this app has proven to be absolutely amazing - I gave up trying to plan it out on the Garmin desktop app - THIS app was designed for bikers and it shows. It’s easy, intuitive, it crosses platforms so I can route plan on my iPad and pick it up on my iPhone while riding. Is it worth the $ to get the premium version with lifetime updates and offline maps - you bet it is - if we don’t patronize developers like this - top notch apps just wont exist. So for the price of a few tanks of fuel and a couple of burgers this is WELL worth it. Kudos to the developer here. Thanks and please keep it up.

What I was looking for. This is exactly what I was looking for in a GPS app. The BMW Navigator I had back in 2004 was the benchmark. I could use their utility to map a trip and download it to the Navigator. This app is now so much better. I can sit in the easy chair Friday night and map a route in the app and not worry about making a route in Google maps, translating it and downloading it to the app. All can be done inside the app. I created a route last night and tested it today. It worked perfect. I have not scratched the surface of the apps features but just the 10 minutes I spent with proved I have to look no further. Well done developers, I’m hooked.

Incredible app. Makes riding 10x more fun.. I drive a Harley Softail Deluxe, a VROD, and a Ninja Z H2 SE. I ride alone some but mostly with my teen daughter (Ninja 400 and Honda Grom) and/or with a variety of friends on everything from 1970’s Honda CB to new Indian Scouts. Before I found this app we’d decide on a destination and I’d google map us there same route as a car or we’d just ride and I’d make it up as we go; meandering mostly directionless. Sometimes we’d stumble upon something interesting but more often we’d just find boring. With Scenic, in just about the same time you can google map to a destination, you can map out the best motorcycle ride to a destination. Or map a 45 mile extra curvy loop to the southeast avoiding gravel roads. BAM! Using Scenic and referencing google earth and yelp, I now make specific rides geared toward sport bikes or cruisers with stops at cool country restaurants, off the beaten path antique shops, lakes, etc. Now we’re not meandering aimlessly, we’re riding the best roads for the bikes we on that day headed to somewhere interesting. Epic!

Great route planner for your car. Has been using this app for several months now, and bought the subscription on day one. This is the easiest yet most configurable ride planner out there. Don’t let the name of the app and the loading screen misguide you — this is a generic ride planner that has nothing specific about motorcycles. I use it to plan my weekend car rides. It’s route editor is the best one among competitors (and I tried all apps I could fond on the App Store). It allows you to easily create roundtrip routes along scenic country roads, and then provides smooth turn-by-turn navigation with voice instructions. The UI is highly configurable. What I also like is that this app doesn’t try to be a social network for riders or any of that social nonsense. It’s just a great navigation tool that does all it is supposed to do and nothing more. Of course, there are things to be improved (and I’m waiting for the next big release that should drop anytime soon, as per the author, to see what’s new): - I’d like an ability to exclude certain roads so that planning can be done much quicker with just a couple via points - I’d like the overlay buttons / icons and the UI to be a bit more modern - I’d like to be able to easily add gas station detours in the middle of a recorded ride - I’d like to use more modern text-to-speech engines for navigation But these are things that don’t prevent me from being a happy Scenic customer.

Very useful app for motorcycle trip planning and riding.. I have had the app for about 3 months and, with the assistance of the developer, have come to depend on it for both functions listed in the title. Planning. Using IPad, the screen is large enough to create routes, which allows you to use the most unique feature supplied: the curvy setting. Once you get the curvy route drawn, use waypoints to lock them in, then edit the route allowing highways and/or efficient routing, and you can plan a day’s travel to meet your needs. The tip from Guido, the developer, that made this more possible is to look at saved trips in the edit mode, which allows for full screen viewing. Syncing your ride from the IPad and then on your phone allows you to take the route to the bike. Riding. Once you have a trip route saved, or if you import and edit a publicly posted ride, you can then navigate it. The in-route map and turn-by-turn directions blue toothed into my helmet make following the route very easy. I like the features that show you where the next turn will be, speed limit and current speed and the map details. Certainly download and use this app with the credits supplied, but take the time to learn how to use it. Once you do, if you like to plan out routes and then ride them, the price of subscription and credits needed for off-line maps, can be justified by the features described above, in my opinion.

Helped me track my Ironbutt Attempt. I am in the process of applying for Ironbutt Certification. This means l have to ride 1000 miles in 24 hours. Was able to plot my route in Scenic and have it count the time it would take and the mileage estimated. On the day of the ride it started off great hitting my first 4 major stops, but it had not saved or had dropped off the list my 5th and 6th stops. As I had only been using Scenic a short period of time for local rides I did not know how to fix this. Had to resort to optional gps tracker to get to the next two locations. After I got the the 6th stop I was able to resume the rest of the ride in Scenic. I now know I could have added stops, but didn’t know how to do that at the time.

Extremely Impressed. I’ve only used Scenic for a few days now, but after years of using Google Maps for planning trips for both motorcycles as well as when pulling my toy hauler, I have to say that this is light years ahead when you want to plan a specific route, save it, share it, and ride it. Still learning, but seems very user friendly and just finished a ride that I had been planning for months in the Smoky Mountains, and Scenic was a life saver. Would have stayed lost trying to execute my planned routes in G maps but this made it much more enjoyable.

As Advertised. Recently took a trip to Harrison, Arkansas to ride the the Ozarks. Looking for a motorcycle app that was simple to use and I would be able to map out my rides by mirroring the paper maps for motorcycle riders provided by the local City Chamber of Commerce. Scenic is that app and much more. There is not enough space or time to elaborate on the functionality of the Scenic App. I shared the Scenic App with several other motorcycle riders while in Harrison. After using they to came to the same conclusion. I bought the Premium and had a small glitch in the down load (which I believe was my fault) I reached out to Scenic via email and had prompt response and solution within a short period of time. Great App and Great Service. Looking forward to great up grades which I know is coming.

Finally!!. I have a BMW R1250 GS and have been using the BMW/Garmin Nav VI unit which although in many ways made the navigation experience nice through its functionality with the Wunderwheel and many features (eg, weather, traffic alerts, media player etc), ultimately became greatly inconvenient due to its screen ghosting issues and the need to connect to a pc in order to add routes created on the computer. I used several apps for route creation and navigation, but had not found any that did both well until I found Scenic. It will work on my iPhone and iPad so I can create routes as I would on a computer with my iPad 11 pro, and then navigate the route on my iPhone or iPad mini. No more having to export the route from a route creation app to a standalone gps or another navigation app. And through its integration with the WunderLink app, I can use my BMW wunderwheel to control the app in an even more robust way than I could with the Garmin Nav VI unit. Last but not least has been the awesome accessibility and responsiveness of the app’s developer who truly monitors the forum and is obviously interested in helping you and developing a great app for motorcycle adventures.I am looking forward to the app’s future development.

Best offline nav app. Track & Route. Folders for organizing.. Hands down best adventure ADV offline navigation app. One of the only apps that has Folder structure for organizing your GPX data by trip, region, or type. Clear menu icons for POI, Tracks, Rutes, and POI. One of few phone offline apps that saves GPX data locally so you can access them without needing Cellular Data or Wifi connection. I ride is places where is neither cell data or Wifi. With Scenic you can create or edit a Track, Route, or POI without needing a laptop, connectivity, or cable. All can be done from Scenic.

Just what I needed, after waiting years!. I was looking for a phone app with offline maps into which I could import routes from an extensive Basecamp-developed library, have them show up in the app nearly perfectly, and be able to quickly edit the small imperfections. I also needed voice turn-by-turn directions. Scenic has all of that and more. And the timing is perfect, because my expensive motorcycle GPS just died. At last! The app I’ve been awaiting for years has finally arrived! And if that’s not enough to convince you, I exchanged several very helpful emails with the developer, Guido, who replied immediately. What a guy!

The best motorcycle navigation app.. There are a number of features to love. Offline maps and the ability to import custom routes are the highlights for me. I can route a motorcycle specific route on Google Maps then import it to Scenic. Meanwhile you can use this app for stand alone navigation and it can pull from multiple sources. It also allows for more motorcycle friendly options when choosing routes. Definitely worth it. I recommend downloading the offline maps if you are planning taking backroad routes that may not have cell service, it can really save you from getting lost.

Best app I’ve found for the motorcycle community!!. I’ve live in middle TN area for many years and know a lot of fun roads to ride but when planning a ride typical mapping apps just get you there the fastest and don’t send you on the winding fun roads to ride. I had taken a ride to Chattanooga last weekend on major roads so on the way back I wanted a challenge. It took me about 5 minutes once I dropped my start pin on the map to come up with a beautiful ride home up and down mountains on very challenging roads. I chose to pick my own roads, but if you don’t want to take the time do that simply put in your start and stop location and the app will give you an typical mapping route until you hit the winding road button and viola it reroutes you onto a scenic route you will enjoy. This feature will be nice when I’m somewhere I’m not so familiar with! The app is very easy to use! Job well done! After getting home from that first experience I actually paid for the app. For me that’s saying a lot about an app because I never pay for apps, but this one is worth it!!!! Last night i sat down and planned out today’s adventure! I can see many fun rides in my future that take me to places that I’ve never ridden before because I didn’t have a way to plan my route the way I wanted to go, but now I can. This app is amazing!

Excellent. Excellent app. You can customize any trip road by road. Customer support was very responsive when I had an issue -answered my email within minutes and within 20 minutes or so solved the problem I had (I have the app on both mine and my Husbands phone and the maps weren’t showing on husbands phone initially but are now) Can not recommend highly enough. Suggestions: a way to export a trip so a thumb drive. Also a way of the map staying open. Sometimes when I go to look at something else on another app within a minute I reopen the app and the trip I was customizing has closed and I have to reopen it with the changes lost.

I'm still dizzzzy!. I read the reviews and thought this was a great solution. We started on a motorcycle trip from Wyoming to the BMW Ralley in Tennessee. This app took us zigzagging through downtowns and residential areas (some of these were a lil sketchy to say the least!) When it should have sent us to the truck route. Although we requested no interstate it tried routing us to the interstate. We stopped and had lunch and had it paused after we were done and requested it to restart route, it tried to send us back to where we started that morning so we made the route from that point as a new beginning. We went in a compete circle...we followed when it had us driving on top of the "levy road" that turned into a two track gravel road. By following this apps route we have added no less than 5 hours into our trip. We would be ready to give up and it then seem to follow the paper map that we were using and we would think YES ITS WORKING! only to be fooled again! You have heard the saying "Fool me once shame on you,Fool me twice shame on me,Fool me thrice...THIS RELATIONSHIP IS OVER... DELETE!!! I will be stopping and getting paper maps for the trip home.

iPhone screen glare no issue. This GPS does everything I need and way more. I don't like the distraction of a GPS screen while I am riding and this is the main reason I haven't purchased a dedicated GPS. With Scenic, I can turn off the phone screen, and it will give me directions over my headset. If I get lost (which is often in the state forests in central Pennsylvania), I stop, turn on the screen and ask the GPS to get me out (usually to the nearest gas station). Inputing planned trip is a breeze and the UI is easy to understand and use. I gave this app 5 stars because there aren't 6.

Intelligent Navigation. The developer of SMT seems to have all his (or her) ducks in order. Not only is the app well-thought and well-built, the explanation for its need to use in-app purchases strikes a balanced cord that lets the user feel good about supporting the app’s continued evolution. I won’t go into detail about its functions because I don’t have enough real experience using it on the road, but the simplicity of route planning (building your route step by step from start to finish using the Via button) stands out as a well-executed feature that speaks volumes for the rest of this app. I’m looking forward to the next biking season (I live in New England!) and plan to move up to a premium version if I like what I see, as I think I will.

Navigation Guidance is lacking. I like the app design and the concept. For routes that are user specified for each via that keeps the app from taking odd turns it works great. The navigation is sometimes not the most efficient taking one off the quickest route when not necessary. Developer response is excellent although he is apparently a one man show and the quality suffers. Wunderlinq integration is awesome. Cons: 1) Routes are not necessary the best (quickest or least intersections) unless the user nails them down with via points. 2) Guidance does not offer two turn directions by voice when turns are very close together so your chance of being in the wrong lane are decent. When driving in traffic is not the best time to stare at the GPS. The map could zoom out to show the two turns if they are close. No lane guidance either. 3) No traffic avoidance for routes without via points It seems like offering underlying maps via Google or Apple would be preferred to costly navigation suggestions. I’d gladly pay more for a premium experience.

Great for cars, too. Not just for motorcycles, I’m using Scenic to set routes for a west coast road trip I’m on and have used it on club drives. I love the ability to download the maps for entire states because so many of my drives go out of cell range. I also love the ability to choose my own static route rather than most nav software that’ll change the route in the middle of the drive, trying to be helpful- causing me to miss some detail long planned for. The route genie function where i set a start point, how far I want to drive, and how many curves I want and the software designs a route for me- super super cool. My favorite nav app! Just wish you’d partner with W@ze to integrate their police presence data into the drives…..it’s really the only thing i miss.

So far, so good!. Had been testing out this app as an alternative to a dedicated GPS for my retired iPhone 6 using just the credits. So far it’s been a very good trial run. The few issues I’ve had I sent to the developer and have had quick responses. It’s obvious they take this app seriously and I’m excited to see how this program evolves. Some notable features worth mentioning if you haven’t already tried the app: Turn by turn directions on imported GPX routes. Yes, imported GPX routes! Offline maps. Easy to use driver / rider friendly UI. Credits give you a good opportunity to try before you buy. I feel like it’s an essential app for anyone wanting to get off the beaten path while off the grid.

Best all around moto nav app. I’ve tried nearly all major competitor apps over the last 6 months and this app is the only one that has everything I need in a user-friendly format. I was reluctant to pay for yet another navigation app and strictly used the free features of the app for nearly 6 months. However, I finally purchased the lifetime version today because I continually find myself trying something in another app I also like and end up setting up the same route in this app because a certain aspect is just easier. Great work! Definitely has the intuitive feel of an Apple product. Thank You!

Harley Boy. Hey ,I like you’re App it’s one of the easiest that I’ve used to route a ride plan on couple things I would like to see that would make it even better, and you may even have it on there and I haven’t found it yet would be a caution when routing if the road is not paved and also caution for rider experience level for instance Tennessee 116 between triple switch back and Graves gap on the devils triangle in Oak Ridge Tennessee that section of the road is for experience riders only some of the tightest and steeper switchbacks I’ve been on. my son ,who’s an intermediate rider ,was going to come with me on that trip but he canceled at the last minute I took my wife instead and we rode that section of the road (2up )without too much trouble because I would consider myself a more experienced rider but for him I would have picked a different ride plan had I Known, Could saves someone’s life -if the planner at least had a caution.

Good routing app.. 2021 update… Currently using this app in Okinawa Japan, pretty darn fantastic still. Works really well for what I want to do, mostly for just tracking my rides, Okinawa is so small I don’t really need to plan out a route. But looking forward to using it for some mainland adventures here soon. 2017 I’ve been using this app for about a year now… There’s been a few hiccups along the way… but the developers are really good about recognizing them and making corrections very quickly. I really like using it. It seems to do pretty good job of tracking where I’ve been, and giving suggestions for where to adventure next.

Very Good With Room For Improvement. First off, I’m not a tech nerd. This is not paid. I’m just an average guy who can easily figure out how a new app works. So, I’ve tried all the popular ones and right now Scenic is the easiest for me. It has more features than I’ll probably use but they don’t get in the way. I especially like being able to choose a curvy route! Now for the improvement part. The app has a habit on secondary roads of nagging. It says NOW TURN RIGHT ONTO (road) but it’s just a curve. On a road with dozens of curves this gets annoying pretty quick. Also, it took us all the way the down a road to a highway then had us make a U turn, go back down the same road almost all the way to then make a turn to get back on track. So I began testing this out. Scenic is very reluctant to simply modify the route if you miss a turn. It insists - and nags - you about U turns at every intersection until you either do it or get so close to being back on track anyway. This needs fixing in my opinion. If you miss a turn, it should tell you, yes. It should tell you to make a U turn. But after a couple it should recalculate. All in all though, I like it and it’s still probably the one I’ll keep using.

Great App!. I have used this app for 5 or 6 trips 99% off road. I really like this app. I tried it out for a while before upgrading to the forever version. I have a few issues with it that I have worked around one way or another, that is why I gave it 4 out of 5. Here are the issues I have had (keep in mind this app is mainly for riding pavement). 1. While planning my own off road routes the app often wants to take you out to a main road and re-route you on pavement instead of continuing on the dirt road/ seasonal you have been plotting points on. I wish there was a follow dirt option. 2. Because this follows Scout (a road map) seasonal roads often do not show up or simply end. On other maps and in real life the seasonal road/2 track continues on and the app tries to re-route you miles out of the way. 3. Be carful to check your entire route when you are using create your route because you can end up going down a road and it turns you back around the way you came. This is easily fixed while planning just be aware that it can happen. Other than the items that I listed above, this app is top notch. I have other GPS units and I leave them in a drawer collecting dust. This is all I need.

So far not so good. I just downloaded this app Saturday night for a ride we were taking in South Carolina on Sunday. We were taking a trip from Greer South Carolina to a place called Bridalveil Falls in North Carolina. This app took us somewhere else really really far out of the way it was a fall but it wasn’t Bridalveil Falls. No I love riding my motorcycle but man was that a ride and since we didn’t know where we were going in the first place we were totally relying on this app and with respect to where we were going it failed us. When I downloaded this app I was super stoked if this thing can do all this and take pictures along the way and save your trip and share your trip and all those good things I thought this thing is great I pay 1095 year all day long however that wasn’t such a great trip.

Awesome. I used to use CoPilot along with Furkot to make custom motorcycle routes, that is, until friggin Apple locked out the ability to access root directories to be able to drop in TRP files. I've just started to use it but so far it's fantastic with no major flaws. As it uses Open Street Maps, it remains to be seen how accurate it is vs Google Maps, but so far, so good. The major bennie is the ability to quickly and easily import a previously made route in Furkot (which I use but it also does Google and others) right on the phone: no need to plug the iPhone into your computer to download maps. Love it. The developer, Guido, is highly responsive to questions - great guy. Highly recommended!

Great motorcycle trip planning. I serve as a Road Captain with a large ride group, 300+ strong. My fellow road captains and I have been putting Scenic through its paces and trying very hard to break it. It refuses to yield even when we have put loops into our routes. The app flawlessly routes you through a prescribed route no matter what. Unlike inRoute or the Harley GPS, which failed our tests, Scenic is smart about routing you back to a route if you deviate. You don’t get endless requests for u-turns to go back to a missed waypoint. Also, because it only routes off downloaded maps you don’t need cellular data, which, for motorcycles hitting the countryside is an absolute requirement. InRoute was lost as soon as we got into the twisties. Great App, definite buy. The newest version is a whole new level of great. Five ++ stars.

Best Moto Nav So Far. This is my favorite navigation app for motorcycle rides. The ability to quickly plan a route with multiple vias(waypoints) and multiple stops means you can make your route as twisty as you want and still get where you want to go. Also, should you choose to bypass a via or stop — or if you couldn’t actually get to where you had placed it — it is simple to tell Scenic to skip it. My only complaint — and this isn’t really the app’s fault — is that on the new CarPlay screen I just added to my bike the screen is always in Night mode. Google maps lets me force day mode map colors on the CarPlay screen. Maybe Scenic’s developer(s) could also add a setting to use alternate color schemes when using CarPlay.

Good program and with some updating could be great.. We use the program for our Porsche club activities. I have not been able to get the program to reliably route voice instructions to my 2020 Ford Edge. The phone is connected to the car using bluetooth and anyone calling the phone is answered by the car but Scenic doesn’t work correctly to announce the instructions to the car. We set the phone to use the internal speaker. We look forward to CarPlay being added with the new version. It is easy to create the routes in lots of different ways and the program works great no matter where the route was created. It is easy to create a route totally within the program. We look forward to the updates and will probably update to the lifetime version.

So far very impressed. I've been trying all kinds of map, route planning and navigation software for years but this one (which I'm still running as trial) is so far the best when it comes to customization and options Rerouting is a little too sensitive and should not try to take me on private roads, 6 feet wide moto cross tracks or dirt roads in general When it comes to unpaved roads it would be nice if this part is highlighted so you can manually move your waypoints or just simple find a way around automatically instead of a warning route contains unpaved even it was marked to avoid The overall impression is very positive and my testing continues to turn out well I'm more than happy to purchase

Compared to GPS. Scenic is as good or better than a dedicated GPS unit. It turns your mobile device into an intuitive GPS with capabilities of creating your own routes . Yes , I know that most navigation apps have that feature but with Scenic it’a easier to import any of your favorites routes. . Personally I don’t like having a lot of farkle on my bike so just having only my mobile device keeps things simple. And since most think mobile navigational apps are susceptible to lack of data coverage ( cell coverage ) with Scenic you just download the offline maps you need . They give a certain amount of credits so that you can download a good amount of maps but if you need more just purchase more credits and your good to go. Again just be sure that your mobile device has the room for extra data. The reason I gave it 4 of 5 stars was due to the voice prompts. Just don’t like they way it sounds. Besides that it’s the go to motorcycle navigation app for me , go ahead give it a try.

Best navigation app ever!. Don’t be misled by the name. This app is just as useful to car drivers as it is to motorcyclists. It has a combination of function and ease of use that few apps can match. You have the choice of designing a route yourself or allowing the app to design it for you. The app can import and export GPX files from/to any app that supports them, as well as standalone navigation devices. The automatic track recording is useful for exploring without a plan in mind and revisiting the same route later. The integration with Apple CarPlay is the best of any nav app I’ve tried. Highly recommended.

Made for motorcyclists! Enough said!. I was an early adopter of Scenic when it first launched and I was a big fan of it back then even though the developers were still working out some bugs. With the new update last year, I’ve really gotten to get to this app and realize at just how great it is for motorcyclists. I like that I can download maps that work for me with my subscription And I can always get more if I need them. I like how things on the screen are meant to be glove friendly with large buttons and very simple app navigation features. I love that I can now create a simple Nav route and it gives me various filters to use to customize the route. Long and slow. No problem. Most direct route, no problem. Also being able to create a custom turn by turn route using the route builder on the phone, during ride, is unheard of by the apps that I’ve seen. I’d like to see a few route organization with features like click these 10 routes and put them in this folder.

Paper mad Smaper maps!. No, just kidding…I’ll always keep the paper map with me. But, the last trip I took was planned with Scenic exclusively. My brother and I took a 12 day trip from Pittsburgh to Nova Scotia. The paper map was only used for a broad overview. Not only was the planning nearly flawless with Scenic, the ability to save all of your trip info….route, breaks, time, distance, top speed, average speed, pictures, etc. is priceless. More things to refer to to remember your trips! A couple tips…check the route you plan before you go, on your other map app…..Scenic does not see road closures (to my knowledge). Also, know that in remote areas, the route could be gravel. It happened once on our trip. The road was still passable on my sport tourer….just not fun. This app is fantastic….get the premium and download the maps you need. I’ve tried others but this one blows them away. It’s well worth it!! JPK, Pittsburgh

Scenic is a powerful and flexible route planning tool. Fourth update: Scenic allows me to create folders of routes and of favorite locations, to keep my plans organized. I can save and edit a route and use it at any time. I can join the route at the closest point to where I am. Third update: I now have a library of over 100 routes created and saved in folders by city and state. I use these routes for pleasure drives and longer trips in my Mazda Miata. Unlike other nav apps, with Scenic I can choose the exact route that I want to take. This has become one of my most-used apps! I really appreciate that I can update an existing route with new vias and stops, and that I can save a different variation of the route. The user forum is a great source of information on how to do specific tasks, and specifically how features work. There are configurable "detour" options to control the desired behavior if you miss a Via or a Stop accidentally or on purpose. That was a problem with other apps. I also like that I can import routes from Google via the Web App. The app is very customizable - I just changed the colors to increase visibility of the route. I create, copy, and edit routes on my iPad using its larger screen and then drive them using my iPhone in the car.

Top navigation app. My screen name is Dragon129 and I have been using this app on just about every daily journey for over two years. WORTH EVERY PENNY:))) If I could give the developer one suggestion for improvement on the next upgrade. Have the ability to communicate with fellow riders in a community live chat room so we can snap towels at each other on our accomplishments. THAT WOULD BE COOL... NOTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE TOWEL SNAPPING AMONG FELLOW RIDERS WITH OUR RIDING EXPERIENCE. Think about it!!!!! no one is doing it:)))... otherwise this app is PERFECT...I have logged almost 60,000 miles since purchasing this app without a glitch. In life... you get what you pay for:))

As advertised. The night before a big ride I decided I need to up my trip planning and route guidance tools. I was still using routes designed in Google Maps that I printed and stuffed into my tank map pocket. I would run Waze as a way to always know where on the map I was. I was not willing to shell out the money for a dedicated GPS as I knew someone would eventually come up with an app for us bikers...hello Scenic. I less tag an hour I designed the route using Google My Maps, downloaded the KMZ file, dropped it into the Scenic Desktop App. Open the app on your iPhone, complete the download and go ride. Everything went flawless until my phone died on hour 6 the day of the ride (didn’t know my charger cord came unplugged under my seat). Given that, my ONLY comment would be to have the battery status be visible while using the app - oh, current time of day as well. Thx Guido!

Great App. After downloading a couple different apps only to find they required a purchased upgrade to add more than a handful of waypoints, I found Scenic. I plotted an entire 3-hour (suburban Fort Worth) ride with around 30 waypoints. It was great. It’s easy to use and has great options besides planning trips. I haven’t used it for a few weeks as I don’t need it when commuting, but I opened the app today so I could see about paying for an even better version. And I’d be happy to pay for the version I already have. I’m do not know the people or person that make the app and I submit this review without being compensated in any way by anyone. The app is that good. Just keep your eyes up.

Great app for motorcycle riders. I’ve been using the app for a couple years now. It’s great to be able to try all the features on an as needed basis by using the credits, without having to worry about a “trial period” expiring. I also like the option that you can purchase additional credits if needed. I’ve imported several gpx files of tracks that others have created. I’ve logged around 3k miles with the app and have been satisfied with how it works. My only wish is that it would display your cell service at n the map so I can quickly glance at my phone and know whether I’m in an area that has reception.

Best bang for your buck in motorcycle routing. Sure there are better options out there for routing and navigating your rides but they’ll cost you $500+. This app combined with a phone mount and power source is just as useful. Route sharing is easy and uses standard GpX files that are fairly universal no matter what system your friends are using. Creating a route within the app is easy and can be done without struggle while eating lunch and shared with everyone immediately. One of my favorite features is to search for already popular rides and edit them to cater to your needs along the route. This is like having a tour guide everywhere you go as many local riders share good routes for you to enjoy when you’re in a new area and for the most part I’ve found them to be some amazing rides I never would’ve found otherwise. I’d recommend anyone give this app a try. Spend an hour or two playing around with it and I’m sure you’ll start to understand how it works and find new rides around your area you probably never knew of. One downside is when your routing preference is set to “extra curvy” it will send you down a lot of dead end roads and it’s especially good at seeking out roundabouts. Not a major issue, just pay attention when letting it plan your route for you and you can fix it in less than 5 minutes using waypoints.

Reliable tracker that doesn’t kill the battery. I’ve been using this tracker for the past few rides and am quite impressed with it so far. I tend to push start, throw my phone in my bag, and forget about it for the duration. This app comes with an auto-pause feature and so far it’s been incredibly accurate with pausing and restarting itself appropriately. I downloaded my local map and it does a great job tracking even when my service is sub par or non existent. The speed tracker is also decent, I’m new to riding and slow down on the more technical trails and this app has a hard time below 15 or so, but I don’t really need to know my exact speed when I’m struggling along in first gear. It also doesn’t seem to drain my battery nearly as much as a few other tracker apps I’ve used. Not sure if it’s because the map is downloaded or if it’s just that good, but my phone battery is down maybe 5% after a 4 hour ride through areas with little to no service and it auto pausing and resuming itself during breaks. 10/10 recommend this one. I ride a dr650 on 99% dirt, couldn’t ask for anything better.

Forget Basecamp!. I have been a Road Captain for a touring motorcycle riding club for several years. I’ve been using Garmin Basecamp for years to map out our rides. Basecamp is not user friendly, difficult to use, and takes way too much time to create a route. The Garmin motorcycle specific GPS’s are expensive and seem to get outdated quickly. I found the Scenic app by accident and decided to give it a try. It’s easy to see this app was designed by a motorcyclist for motorcycle riders. It is very intuitive, fast and gives you just the right amount of riding options without making it difficult to use. The yearly fee to be able to sync your planned routes between devices is very reasonable and well worth it. I can create my routes on my iPad and they sync to my iPhones automatically. Scenic has made my job much easier and I actually enjoy creating my club routes now. I highly recommend Scenic!

Good app. Good app to use, gets “lost’ every once and a while and recalculates and wants to take you on a loop to get you back onto the road you are already on. But if you pay attention to your route and just ignore it, it will eventually correct itself. The only thing I wish it had was a pause feature, it does pause on its own after setting for a bit, but that doesn’t always work and there are times when I get off the bike to go into a store and scenic will still run and be giving me directions. Unfortunately right now the only way to stop it is to stop/save the ride, then re-enter and start a new when you are ready to get back on the road...

Reliable, easy to use, precise, and super convenient!. I own a 2019 Harley-Davidson Street Glide with the optional larger screen Infotainment GPS system and leading group rides. I also love the power of my Apple iPad Pro 11 inch (new Pro models that came out on late 2018) and coupled with the Scenic app and an Apple Pencil (2nd generation) you have a powerful Road Captain ride planning console that has taken my ride planning game to the next level. I love the graphics, the ability to place waypoints with pinpoint precision (with some practice), and being able to do so from the comfort of wherever I am (my favorite leather chair, my bed, or sitting at a bar as I plan away with my favorite drink to go along). I love that I can also download Scenic on my iPhone and check ride plans on the fly and even make tweaks and adjustments on the fly. I also love that I can export GPX files directly from my iPad onto a memory stick from which I can then easily load ride plans onto my Harley's Infotainment system (which has a beautiful mapping interface IMO). I have friends that are hard core Garmin BaseCamp lovers but they have seemingly fallen asleep at the wheel as they haven't yet developed a compelling and user-friendly app for iOS devices. I highly recommend Scenic and celebrate Guido's work. By the way he is super responsive to questions and publishes a great newsletter too!

Scenic App is outstanding!!. I have been riding street bikes for 30 years. I have lived in many of the most scenic areas in the USA. I seem to be the one organizing and leading rides with my group. For many years I have struggled with spending hours mapping out the best and most curvy rides and fumbling with maps on my tank to make sure I didn’t miss a turn. Typically a lot of u-turns. This is the product I have been searching for!! Just plug in the # of miles I want to ride for the round trip, pick the general direction, select the amount of curvyness and click start! That simple and keeps me on track the entire time. Been living in Florida for 8 years now and this application is taking me to curvy roads I didn’t even know exist! This application has been great. I love it and highly recommend it.

Best motorcycle navigation that I’ve found. I’ve looked at a lot of different options for navigation while motorcycling, and while there are a number of apps / devices that do some things well, Scenic is the only one that puts a check in the box next to all of my must-haves: - has to have downloadable maps: Scenic gives you a set amount of credits for downloading maps of desired states, with the ability to purchase more. I live in New England, so I ride a lot of different states, but the allotted amount of credits has been enough to cover all the states I ride in (7 so far). There’s no pulling you in with 1 state and then dinging you for the rest. Also, when maps need updating, that doesn’t go against your credits. Scenic doesn’t have those hidden costs so prevalent today. - has to accept custom maps from other sites: I use Kurviger to really detail my maps, and I love the fact that I can import this directly and simply. Scenic supports a number of formats from a number of different providers. - has to have good, clean interface when riding. The interface is very simple and clean. It’s easy to glance down under way and not get distracted. All in all a lot of great features and good value for the money. The only alternative I can see is a $700 Zumo, which, while nice, is hard to justify when Scenic exists.

Excellent App! Get the pay version!. I’ve been using this app for a couple years now and it’s my go-to for planning and mapping routes in the New England area where I live and ride. You need to spend some time to understand the interface to get the most out of it but you can just do it on the fly - just don’t rate it until you give proper time! I recommend using it at first to just track you rides/drives. Then review and play around with modifying tracked routes for future rides. Once you get familiar with the the tools then you can be super creative or just use the algorithms to create routes for you instantly! Be aware that the app doesn’t currently distinguish between paved and dirt roads. I would love to see a feature added that allows you to put preference on dirt roads for dual sport/adventure rides. Love the app and keep up the great work!

Best one for Motorcycles. I’ve tried a number of phone apps over the last year and Scenic is the best to actually use for your trips. Best sound of turn-by -turn directions, clearest screen layout for viewing while riding and clearly visible road information. You may want others in addition such as Google Maps and REVER depending on others you ride with and what they have but when it comes to your ride, do it in Scenic. Other reviewers have said “take the time to learn the app”. I totally agree and you should view and bookmark all the Scenic tutorials and feel free to contact the developer as you go through your learning process. Worth the money AND your effort to learn the features!

So far loving this app!. Only had it for a week so far but has worked flawlessly and is such a great way to track my rides, create memories and navigate my way through a planned ride! The ride planner is easy to use and works well from what I have found so far!

I like it. A few minor improvements would make this the best app for motorcycle riders. I ride both a Goldwing and KLR 650, road and dirt on the KLR and it works. It’s tracking your route is very detailed

Fantastic motorcycle app.. Spend the money to buy a subscription. The round trip functionality is a must.

Terrific for planning and sharing rides. This is the best app I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot. Did the free plan for a couple of weeks before I paid for the full kit and haven’t regretted it

Great...when it worked.. Updated to the most recent and no longer works, constantly crashing when I click. Happy to send a video record and phone spec’s if dev leaves contact details in a response — it truly is a great app when it worked.

Best Motorbike GPS. Don’t bother getting any other GPS app for both off-road and on road use. This is built for motorcyclists of all kind. Highly recommended 😊

Scott. Fantastic app for motorcycle route planning and Navigation… I’ve tried others and this is by far the best! Well done

Awesome app. I used it a couple of times on the free version but upgraded to the paid version pretty quickly. I tried a heap of apps but this is the best. I love that I can plan a trip on google maps then access it through the portal and use scenic. A huge plus for me is that it doesn’t change the route like google maps. It’s easy to read, shows recommended speeds, my GPS speed. It auto dims at night and is just as easy to read on the bike as Google or Apple maps. It will plot a route like a normal GPS, recalculate if I take a wrong turn and is easily programmed to find an address. I really love the fact I can ask it to stay off motorways and to find the curvy way home. It even has a basic record route function not that it’s very good but hey it’s there. 10 out of 10. Glad I finally found the app which does all I ask. There’s very clearly been a lot of hard work put into this and it shows, very polished and easy to use. Congratulations on a brilliant app. Highly recommend. No negatives.

Handiest part of any ride. I’ve used Scenic for over a year now and it has planned all my major rides. I even use it to calculate road distances for other reasons. It’s great to be able to share a route to fellow riders the night before a ride so we can all be certain of where we’re going. All in all it’s a powerful tool and I can’t sing its praises enough. Perfection is a tough gig, but this comes very close. Great work Guido.

Great app. Have been using this app for a few years now. The latest version is really great and far better than a conventional gps imho. Excellent for route planning, using the curvy route generation. Only small gripe is, the mapping could be better and i sometimes have to use hema maps for planning in more remote locations. But sealed roads are not a problem

Fully recommended. This app was reconnected to me by another mate and I’m blown away by all the features it has and how easy it is to use. Don’t ride without it now.

Better than calimoto. I was using calimoto for a while but I became frustrated with that app. It was difficult to make custom routes stick. I found myself going round in circles too often. Scenic feels a lot more intuitive. Easy to quickly edit any discrepancies in a route. I also found it easy enough to combine multiple rides during the day using a text editor. This would be much easier if Guido built this into the app. It’s really a must in my opinion. Nice App. I’ll be using Scenic on all my rides now. Paul

Most attention to detail and usability!. Best navigator for my bike so far..Garmin Zumo can finally retire ! Getting better with each version..I have no longer any need for Garmin or TomTom and also use it for car navigation ! Really great effort, Bravo to the developer..

A little confusing. But with practice I'm sure it will become easier. At present I haven't used it in a practical trip, only trying to work out how to make a map for trips I'd like to do, with not much success so far. I'm sure it will be fine once I get my head around it.

Finally found what looking for!. I’ve studied and trialled 9 bike gps apps looking for best on and off road adventure app. This is the only one that ticks all the boxes. Well done! Intuitive design, accurate and surprising search functionality, easy route planning and a function to route only unpaved and narrow roads/tracks. I love using it and highly recommend.

First Time User. Enjoyed the software so far... still navigating through the system. Thank you... like the voice over speed warning. Darkhorse Indian

Find the scenic route between A and B, and then customise!. Awesome ability to find your own scenic route from A to B and then customise. The feature missing from every other navigation app I have tried.

Awesome. Did an 8.5h ride 50/50 black to dirt and it is so easy to use. It also places your pics on the route. I would highly recommend.

Scenic ride app. Love it and find it an improvement on Google maps, but would like to see more info and ranking in the points tables and be able to change my route more easily once a ride is underway.

Love it! tried and tested. This is an awesome app and completely developed for motorcyclists in mind and hence why it works so well. It takes some getting use to, the video instruction is a great idea. I like the route planning ability, but would like a heads up when the road is on dirt first tho. Route planning with its options for curvy and mode means it’s great for those times when I just want to get there fast and the other extreme when I have all day and I want an interesting suggestion which chances are I have thought I’d taking before. Navigation is good. Voice navigation is OK but 2 annoying things 1) when activated does tell you it’s on you have to wait for the first instructions after setting off, 2) the beep for interrupting helmet comms is loud and ear piercing, needs refinement. Apartment from this, I love love love this app and it’s always my go to motorcycle apps

Great app. I’d been looking for something to give turn by turn on a route of my choice for ages and this is excellent. I like being able to pay as you go.

Easy app with most flexibility. I wanted an app that would let me program a specific route of my choosing and be display that on a ride in a very clear fashion. This ticks those boxes.

Very comprehensive navigation app. Scenic is a terrific app. I can plan a route complete with waypoints and stops on my iPad, share it with others, then come back and tweak it, and then I can navigate and record the route using my iPhone. And then share the recorded ride. The offline maps are accurate and are updated frequently, and make the app useable outside of mobile coverage area. A speed limit display, coupled with display of true GPS speed and optional overspeed warnings, make it a useful tool for long distance rides. The developer is extremely responsive and has built a high quality product. I bought a lifetime Premium subscription. Whether you pay annually or lifetime, it’s very good value considering the effort that goes into it and the specific tailoring to motorcycle riding.

Figgy. Great app. Use it on most of my rides. Have been using this app for over 12 months and it just gets better. So many different options for importing. Scenic 2 even better than original. Love it.

Excellent Routing App. I’ve been using scenic for a few weeks and absolutely love it for the ease of mapping out a route. I find it very accurate and easy to use.

The Adventurer. I absolutely love this app. use it mostly on the road and love what it does and how it works. Highly recommend it 👍

Works Great!!. I’ve been using it for over a year and have mapped out easily over 5000km of bitumen, gravel, dirt, national park tracks etc and only twice it wouldn’t join two way points on tiny out of the way roads. Plan your route by dropping way points from start to finish then follow its directions and ride your planned roads. I’ve had no trouble with it

Great app for navigation. Have tried many nav apps and have found ScenicApp the best for what I need. What makes it even better is how the developers are very quick to respond to any questions you may have. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to version 3

The best maps navigation app I’ve found. This is the best navigation maps app that I’ve used and I travel a lot. It’s quick, easy and accurate and covers australia very well, even the very remote bits

Best Nav App for motorbikes ever. This is a great Navigation app especially for motorbikes. It is user friendly with the ability to import routes and alter to suit once imported. This app has what a lot of the others are missing. My Garmin Zumo got tossed, my IPhone and this app are much better than any GPS on the market. I wrote this review when this app was first released. This app just gets better and better. Guido listens to bikers and makes improvements on their feedback. I’m sure he will improve even more

Finally - endless waypoints you beauty!. Import, export, plan, share, record, breadcrumb- it has all this and more, and bulk waypoints! No longer does the nav try to take the shortest route to the destination. It follows all the waypoints. I've found the navigation to the route, and on the route to work really well, voice guidance and all along the way. Auto zoom, 3D and auto rotation are expected and are all there. Imported the whole of Aus so can run off-data. Great app! Best motorcycle scenic navigation app I've used - Period.

Route planning and following 👍🏼. Downloaded this morning. Had directions from a third party and I was given the role of ride leader. So with the responsibility of not getting everyone lost, I tried google maps but with only 8 waypoints it wasn’t going to happen. Too many turns and google was changing the way I wanted to go. Found scenic app. Free to try. This app did what I wanted on the day. 21 specific turns to link up curvy roads in the Perth hills. So happy at the end of the day I signed up for a year so I could share the ride with others. I would like a more detailed sharing experience with Facebook. To share a Route On Map image with the trip details on our clubs Facebook page would be nice. Even though members of our group may not have the Scenic App yet, it would be good to post something. It might be done with a work around? I’m not sure. Happy with purchase.

Outstanding. All motorbike riders should have this app user friendly interface and great features for touring and recording your ride

Scenic among the top. So many available features, however well organised and without clutter, making it easy to use. Definitely created with the writer in mind.

Excellent trip planner. Definitely recommend this app .. either as a yearly subscription or as an option to buy it . P.S any chance topography might be added .. I know it does map height , but it’s very much a secondary feature .

Brilliant app. Hands down the most comprehensive and easy to use navigation app for motorcycles. Improvements to the interface for music control and adding off-road tracking would make this perfect.

Detailed Navigation. I use this for planning rides or to record my rides with others. There’s good details retained of my rides and I can share with others who don’t have it. Always good to look up the list when deciding where to ride.

Ride Lead. Smiled at Jeffseach review - he stresses as much as me at messing up a ride for all those following behind him. After 9 more months of happy use of Scenic, today I thought I knew better, and went past a turning. Stuff-up for all. Listen to the directions, trust them and turn!

So far it’s brilliant. Early days but so far the app is very easy to use, doing a ride that I know and then converting it into a public route for anyone else to use is Brilliant, easy as, and it comes up on the map so you can check it out before saving. Haven’t had any issues with it at all. A great app and a brilliant app build, well done 👍😀

Was my go-to app but not anymore. I really enjoyed route planning on the original app but the 2.0 version has a terrible UI compared to the previous version. I don’t need router recording, just an app with an intuitive UI for creating and planning routes. Going back to using co-pilot instead which is a shame because the UI on the original version of this app was intuitive and easy to use. Hopefully the developers. Can bring back some of those functions.

Mostly Good. This app has worked well for me after planning motorcycle trips and using the turn by turn voice navigation. Just a couple of problems: - In loop circuit I planned it got confused about whether I was on the way out or in. And I couldn’t fix it. - once or twice it has missed a turn command. - When creating a route you can only undo the last step. If you’ve made two mistakes you have to start again!

Just started to use Scenic 3. Excellent app so far, getting use to it and learning best way to use it, curvy round trips work very well for me, finding roads I haven’t used before!

Best app for riders!. This app is fantastic ! Trust me get it you won’t be disappointed if your ride you want this app tracking your every run! Best app for motorcycle navigation by far , I can’t say enough good about this app …You will love it !

Scenic for Oz adv riding. Have been playing with scenic for some time. Had reasonable success tracking my route (better than many other options). Felt it a little clunky working out routes or importing them from other (free) options. Just completed 4 day ride into northern NSW. I decided to give it a good go before dumping (or subscribing) and planned and imported several sub routes into the app. App performed well (although limits to the OSM in Australia) even when off-road routes imported. Tracked entire 1200 km (except one minor segment due to op err). Now deciding to go premium! Looks like major update will cover most of my gripes, so future looking good!

Great App - Update!. Easy to use. Lots of well thought out functions. Would have liked an option to be able to select unpaved roads as well when calculating routes. I use this for planning long trips, and do a lot of adventure riding. If you can add an unpaved road option as well, then I will rate this 5/5!

The best Adventure Motorcycling app on iOS. I have tried several other paid apps & have found this to be the best. While a little pricey there are a generous amount of initial free credits but the ease of planning, navigating & sharing routes is the best I have found.

Great App. Have used this app several times now, very impressed with how easy it is to use. Great work, can’t wait to see the all new version.

Awesome. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone Really like the fact that the routes can be public for all to see and share

Ok - but serious issue for me. Your app is better than most I’ve come across-I subscribed but THEN realised that it has a major failing. I live in South Australia and any longer ride North or North East means at least one if not several ferry/punt crossings over the Murray River. Your app doset allow a route to include any other water crossing other than a bridge. Frankly it’s a deal breaker for me and if it can’t be fixed I’d like my money refunded because the app is useless for me.

Really good app.... This app is good, really good. I couple of improvements and it will be great. I find the screen rotation annoying, there is a feature to lock screen, but this needs to be activated each time and only in navigation mode. When putting on my mount it changed and then you need to take it off again or start navigating, set screen lock and then mount. Something routing takes a turn for the worst and the logic seems off. Speed limits are a ‘for guidance only’ for most bikers, posting your speed data to ‘public’ could be a big mistake. Seems a little too easy to do so the defaults should be switched, just saying 😇 Out of all the apps out there, this gives me the best route planning, navigation and dats analysis of all of them. Happy to recommend.

Meilleure app moto jusqu’à maintenant. De bonnes suggestions d’itinéraires et belles routes panoramiques

Easy to use. Used it all the time last season and looking forward for this summer 🏍😁👍🏼

Simply Fantastic. Great app to create, to import, to export, to follow, to modify… GPX routes. Also very good to suggest routes with a lot of curves…

Fun app.. Seems like a good app so far.

Good app - Excellent Customer Service. It is a great app. I used it during a trip at Tail Of The Dragon and it made me go through nice routes. Also, if you any issues, their customer service is top notch and Guido will promptly assist you.

Great Navigation App. This app is exactly what I was looking for in place of buying an motorcycle gps unit. You can download maps to use offline at what I think is a very fair cost. You can import routes from other app and websites like motorcycleroads.com to this app to ride. The routing will take you from a starting point to the beginning of your planned ride. Very happy!

WOW!. meilleur app et je l'utilisie à chaque randonnée en moto. On passe par les plus belles routes!

A must for dualsport bikers. Awsome app. Awsome service.

Super pour planifier des trajets. C’est la meilleure app pour planifier de trajet et choisir des petites routes.

Fantastic App. I use the record ride every time I go for a long distance ride, that way when I find a cool road, I have a copy to tweak for a better ride next time. Also like the add a route feature. I can plan an entire round trip picking the best motorcycle roads.

Newbie. As a new rider this was helpful and fun to use

Awesome!. Always on my iPad installed on my R1200gs. 5 star support ! Buy and enjoy with peace of mind , and go with the extra-curvy on sunny day or your preferred gpx with your knobbies.

Love it. So easy and handy to use. Much better than Basecamp which can be a pain.

Decent app. I love how easy the app is for mapping. My biggest complaint it doesn’t show gas stations or places to eat. These are pretty important aspects to be in a motorcycle navigation app. I would pay for this app if this was fixed. The Harley Davidson app has these features and it’s free but just isn’t clean like scenics. Please add gas and food Cheers

Best App for motorcycle. Love it…

Horrible GPS Reception. Tried many navigation apps that works sand ensuring I have good cell service, yet I keep getting notified that I have bad GPS reception in the Scenic app. The overall app is amazing. You can customize routes or find some that are created from other people within your area. However, without any GPS tracking the app is completely useless.

I really enjoy this program but…. One of the easier GPS motorcycle riding programs I have used. But if a road/trail is not on the map there is no way I know of to force the program to navigate down said road. Suggestion Be able to bridge between roads that do not have a known link. Have a map that shows every road you have ever ridden while using the app. That would be an awesome selling feature.

Scenic app review. Excellent routing app. Only a couple small things I’d change but otherwise I really enjoy the features this app provides and allows to pre-plan routes.

It’s amazing. I love how easy it is and as an adventure rider it’s takes me through the bush and down gravel roads which I love

Great Apps. i have been using Scenic for 3 years now. Best Investment I have ever made!! Looking Forward thé Apple Car Play Integration tout use on my Africa Twin

Great App but missing weather map overlay. This is a great motorcycling apps, i use it all the time, only thing missing is weather radar map and traffic to be perfect.

Great app. I use it (along with several other people) for finding and sharing fun roads for club tours by my car club. Worth the subscription fee, cheaper than a stand-alone GPS device.

Amazing app! Keep it up Guido!. This app is amazing!!

Amusant mais…. Appli très agréable pour le Touring…. Mais attention, plusieurs indications routières sont erronées ou datées.

Simply the best motorcycle GPS app. That's it!

Great ap. Great ap for recording and planning routes. Can also import gpx.

Great app. Could be great to have acces to more stats (only, 2 years, 2 months or 2 weeks)

Ride Safe ! Pick your curves 😎. Getting to know more scenic. More fun in the rides Less stops Nice surprises Scenic 🔥

Love this App!. By far the best option of this app is the ability to place waypoints throughout your ride. Being able to choose which roads and where to turn easily beats out anything else that I have tried. It would have gotten a 5 star review but the constant mistake recording of speeds is annoying. Recording that you are going 150 km an hour when you are going 90 and getting a very loud audio warning has made me turn off the warnings.

Good app. Keep it up

Great app. Planning routes to share with my riding buddy are a great way to get more from your rides

Le meilleur. J’utilise des GPS et Apps depuis des décennies, J’ai testé Scenic au Canada, aux USA et en Afrique. Le meilleur pour planifier et guider des voyages de moto.

Texas burger for Fenlon falls. The ride there was excellent with a lot of twisties and single lane roads. On the way back was not as exciting with more cars to contend with as I travelled on small highway roads

Needs a 3D view ride. I was using rever. Switched to this app because this app is way easier to plan a route on the phone app but it is definitely missing the option to view your recorded ride. In the other app you can view a 3D model and moving replay of the ride. I may switch back for that feature

Absolutely fantastic app.. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and have yet to be disappointed. Haven’t found any mapping glitches in the newest version. Any route plotted on Google Maps, even off road and logging roads, all import into Scenic no problem. Less waypoints are better especially with multi lane intersections. Zoom in to pick the correct lane. With some places I go, I’d be lost without Scenic, really! Google Maps don’t work without cell coverage and GPS units don’t always give enough detail. British Columbia is a big place. Get the app and thank Guido later.

Love it. Get it

Love it!. Fantastic app with a very responsive developer. Can’t wait for some of the requested features and further added functionality from the forum!

Great app. This is the best motorcycle mapping app out there. You can customize easily the maps into having them displayed in a way that makes sense to you, and you can customize the way the app reacts when you miss a waypoint and moves on instead of constantly trying to bring you back to it. Highly recommended

Great app. Very good for motorcycle riding or other travelling

Like. Like

Best Motorcycling Navigation App. Wealth of features, easy to use, intuitive menu and route planning system

Really enjoying the app!. So far it works great for rides I’ve been on.

Great App. I’ve used Scenic all year and never went for a ride without firing up the app. The features are great, the UI is well thought out. Keep up the great work.

Great app. I use this as my navigation for all my motorcycle rides

Try. Une super application

Simple yet extremely useful !!. Found this app when trying to plan out fundraising rides for a local group. It is very straightforward to use but has valuable options that make the most out of planning any ride 👍👍… as well as editing routes as roads change or due to construction…🤙🤙 Also great for “Multi-Stop” rides for stretch/smoke breaks !! 😁

A pleasure to use & plan with. Scenic is the most comprehensive & easiest to use bike routing apps that I’ve tried.

Scenic. Great to follow a planed route and to let you know what is coming up so you can enjoy the ride even more. Love this App.

Addicting Gamification. It’s upsetting to see everyone else out on their bikes while I’m stuck at home. I was #598 in my country but then I had a period of a week or two where I was unable to ride for whatever reason… now I’m #612. Why do I even check the rankings?? Because I’m addicted to this app. The route creator is cool, and offline maps are helpful. I’d love if they added a social component so I could see my friends trips and routes instead of just a leaderboard and share function.

RECALCULATE AND CONTINUE NOT WORKING!!. After leaving the planned route I was expecting SCENIC to recalculate. That didn’t happen. Instead it seemed to freeze, displaying the last known position relative to the planned route. And after rejoining the planned route, I was expecting SCENIC to continue from there on to our destination. But no, the best it could do was display our position on the map, minus turn navigation. Not helpful!!! And yes, I have settings correctly configured to handle both scenarios.

Amazing app for road trips. The perfect app for planning out the navigation aspect of road trips. It allows you to intuitively set your route exactly along which roads you would like. Not only does it do this but the algorithm, if you would prefer to let the computer do the work for you, has a number of options to choose from in terms of user preference. Overall, Scenic is well-made, intuitive app that fills a big gap in navigation technology.

This app changes your entire world.... Using the Scenic App, with a car or a motorcycle, transforms your entire experience and allows you to see places and views that you never thought existed before. With so many options, even at a basic free membership, allows you to trim and customize your trip in a million different ways. Just because of my appreciation for the app and their developers, I am signing up for the Premium membership. They deserve our support and I am grateful they exist!

Illogical Routing and more.. I was hoping for more but found that on one of their routes I was taken through so many unnecessary illogical routing choices (including places I am familiar with) that I started deviating from the app’s instructions. Then its rerouting function would lay out routes that would go down dead ends and come back and also make the same inefficient, illogical route choices. That alone has killed it for me. Other aspects I would want to see in an app like this (these may be there but I didn’t see them): -a compass indicator when you are in the mode where the map is always oriented in the direction you are facing. - satellite maps - having nearby towns/cities appear on the map display. I was in the middle of the country and the app kept trying to get me to turn around though I knew where I wanted to get to was ahead. Would’ve been nice to know if there was a town nearby I could have headed towards if the gas situation got critical. Maybe it does but my route display didn’t show any by default.

Finally! Turn by turn directions for rides I create. I love to ride off the beaten path in places I've never been. Problem with this is I can get lost. While some say that's part of the "fun", I prefer to know the next turn will keep me on my desired course. Scenic has solved that problem with providing the ability to create routes ahead of time then providing turn by turn directions throughout the ride. Whether you define the route with in the app or import a GPX file from another app, the end result will be a pleasant ride with no surprises. This is one app every motorcycle adventurer is going to want to have.

The road less traveled can’t remain a secret for ever. This is great helps find new roads there and new roads back, kind of my thing for the last 40 years, sometimes it’s a dirt road dead end with banjos🤩that you need to avoid, sometimes it’s that one you have thought about but we’re just not sure about. Maybe technical level filters for us fully loaded 2 up dresser riders that want to avoid 180 degree turns that are on a vertical switchback where the pavement ends😎

Well done. I had searched (and waited) for years for a mapping app that allowed full flexibility and would not do ridiculous reroute if I get off course, all with the speed I need. Scenic 1.0 came along and solved all my needs.... could not have more pleased. UPDATE: Along came scenic 2.0 and added all the nice features without carving away from the core function! Pleased even more- well done! A must for any adventure driver. Cant say enough how pleased I am with your developments! New update just keeps getting better! Don’t ever stop!

Just what I was looking for. I just downloaded this app. I was looking for something that would let me use my finger on the map just dropping waypoints to route my weekend rides. I want to map a ride in the California hills and canyons and as you may know that’s not easy to do using the installed map app on my iPhone. Within about three minutes I had my route set! I ride where the cell connection is usually nonexistent after exiting the highway. I noticed Scenic still tracked where I was! I was in the middle of nowhere too! I’m very glad it guided me safely and securely, and can’t wait to use it again!

A Great App but.... I’m not crazy about the recent update. I find it much more complicated to use. I don’t see where you can create an account to personalize it. I do like the fact that the “extra curvy” settings do work. However, I’ve noticed that when you use these settings it’ll give you some crazy directions, including making you go around a block or into a development just to keep it curvy. I learned to ignore that. I’m also not crazy about having to pay for points to download maps. I’d rather just pay a small yearly fee to use everything (hint hint). Overall it isn’t bad.

Nice navigator for motorcycles!!!. The only issue I have with this app now is with the voice that tells me to go straight or to follow the road. Seems like that should be understood and the only instructions I would need is when I am going to have to turn. So instead of telling me that I will go straight in 1 mile, tell me I have to turn onto a different road in 5 miles. Other than that, this app works great!! And it’s getting a lot better at importing routes I get from friends that use other apps (like BaseCamp).

Amazing, worked perfectly in TN and NC mountains. I did 1800 miles driving from Florida to Gatlinburg Tennessee and then driving all around Tennessee and North Carolina. I downloaded the maps for both tn and nc, I have am iPhone 11 and I never once lost gps signal and my routes worked perfectly. Navigation worked, easy to edit and change plans. Worked perfectly. Also amazing for having so many free features. Developers deserve to be charging 5$-10$ for this app

Best bike app out there. Purchase this app for a recent trip that me and my wife took for three days it kept us off all of the interstate and took us over through the secondary roads of all of our destinations we do not like to ride on the interstate because of the fast paced traffic we love enjoying the ride at a cruise in Speed we rode the dragon and then on the Blue Ridge Parkway this app is a must you can download your route so you don’t have to have phone service in the mountain areas of where you would not have any

Best Motorcycle Tracking & Routing App. I have used and tried many similar apps over the course of a number of years. Some are still available and some aren’t. I can honestly say that this app has made huge improvements over time going from good to exceptional. A few of the people I ride with use it based on my recommendation. I use it to track and plan trips in the northeast and took it to Italy to record the route on an Edelweiss trip I did September 2021. It does everything I want and need - everything in life should work this well.

No maps appear on new installation - fixed. iPhone 11 with lots of space. Not seeing this reported in the forum, so might be a one-off issue. Have uninstalled/reinstalled and rebooted phone. Will update my rating once we get it working. Update - Guido (the developer) told me the maps will sometimes not show up if you are using a VPN. I was not using VPN, but I was on a wifi network that does content filtering. Switching to another wifi or cellular network fixed the problem.

Overview. Really like the options that avoid highways. Very useful. What l would really love to see as an option before or really anytime during the trip, would be a list of turn by turn directions with street/road names. Right now to see the names of streets and roads you have to zoom all the way in to each different road to see the name. Your overview map doesn’t have major hwys or any roads marked. Again you have to zoom all the way in to see it. Would be super helpful while on the bike to hit an icon and have an overview of turns by roads listed. Please consider adding this feature as it would greatly benefit the driver when navigating through unknown areas.

Has potential to be an awesome app, but the navigation Vegas frustrating at times.. I'm a nerd, so I love customizing routes. There seems to be some major flaws in the system though. Most of the time when I setup a long ride, if I don't go and hand check every single turn, I end up with some stupid loop that leads nowhere and often keeps trying to duplicate thees loop. I have used this app for a couple of years now. Sticking with it, waiting for the kinks to get ironed out. I purchased the premium before today's ride, hoping it was money well spent. Not the case. I got misled down a wrong turn, that looped in a circle then took me back the way I had come, attempting to send me down the loop a second time. Like I have done in the past. I shut the app down and switched to Google. Sigh. The potential is there, but it is very hard to keep getting rides goofed up. I think I have only recorded a handful of successful rides, and those were hand built all the way thru. The app just isn't intelligent enough to trust with a round trip that it designs.

not perfect but better than all the other moto specific ride planning and navigating apps!. ive tried a lot of apps and scenic lets you plan, nav, and record better than most all the rest. it has a very full feature set and is constantly improving. import/export works great handles long rides with lots of waypoints audio turn by turn is very useful, but my life was made better once i mounted my phone to be able to glance at things like distance to next turn and to handle tricky intersections there are some user interface gremlins, but overall easy to use even with gloves. the main area for improvement i would hope for is to stick to real roads. i am often being navigated onto dirt/gravel roads, walking paths, etc. Secondly, it is hard to beat the big car nav apps when it comes to realtime updates about road closures, traffic, accidents etc. Would be nice to integrate that information into routing if desired.

Best motorcycle navigation or any other type of navigation if you know a route you want to take.. Have been using Scenic for 2 years because it does 2 things I need: - allows use offline by downloading maps - sticks to the route and does not complicate navigation with constant options for different routes. I use Scenic on my motorcycle after researching route options and I do not want a different route, I want the roads I picked based on street views. Great app that is much better after recent updates.

Finally a GPS I can pick MY route.. So far it has worked great. I have it 4 stars is because if you don't go the exact way by traveling the ways point I selected it will keep trying to get you to hit that way point. I.e. I selected I way point by a bridge that was closed. Scenic map did not indicate that the road was closed. So I had to drive quite a ways around the closure but scenic kept sending me to the waypoint that was next to the bridge. After I did get back on the right road, it did resume to my trip.

Love this app. The ability to get curviest route when planning rides is enough for me. When I first downloaded the app, it could not do curvy routing, and I emailed the author with this feature request. The next release had it. That is the level of commitment by the author to this app and its users. I highly recommend this app. I only use the app for trips, but if you are a commuter, you can use the app to earn points which rank you amongst other riders.

It's great if you know exactly how to use it.. Took this on a long day trip partly through the Olympic peninsula. I am planning to go full premium and use it over the summer. The good: * For pre-planned route with no accidental detours - just took me right through. * creating route on the phone is super sweet once you figure out how to do it. * offline maps ftw. * Tracking is great. Can be better: * routing is too eager at times, prompting to turn slight left or right into the same road including freeways and back roads. * couldn't figure out a way to switch between navigation more and tracking mode on the fly. They ended up being different trips. * at one point after I missed a few turns it routed me back through where I had come from instead of to my destination. * pausing and resuming a trip takes an extra credit. This may really be a bug.

A great app that does all I need. I am using Scenic on two phones - my iPhone XS for importing and creating routes and an older iPhone 6 which is the one I use for navigation (I do not want to damage the iPhone XS camera via the vibrations from the bars). Scenic is great at getting me where I want to go with a minimum of fuss. It’s also great to see the features expand in each revision. One note: when using in landscape mode it is challenging to click on “start route” as it is hidden by the control menu. Have to do this in portrait mode first, then rotate to landscape and start out. A minor quibble. Otherwise I really enjoy this app.

Really like the Scenic App!. This is the best app I’ve found to plan a trip especially with multiple waypoints. Well worth upgrading to Premium Forever. I mix Scenic routes and importing route planning from Furkot. Scenic is not live, so it misses detours and heavy traffic. But for the price and being able to use it as one source through my phone, it works wonderfully and I can still listen to music or have a phone call. My go to gps for all motorcycle trips and now car trips too. Thank you Scenic!

Scenic. IMO, Scenic is the best app for planning and navigating long and short motorcycle trips. Controls, screen layouts and app behaviors are clear, easy to understand and logically designed. Better yet, Scenic’s routing algorithms are first rate - when I’m planning a ride in Scenic, it almost always chooses the routing I would have come up with using maps and 30+ years of personal experience. Finally, Guido, Scenic’s guru, owner and chief architect / programmer totally gets it in terms of customer service and support.

Wish I knew of this sooner. Our car group uses this for planning drives. We’re able to share routes and plan everything. When making a route pick your start point, and end point…than choose the type under “routing” on top of screen. This changes the type or roads - fast vs curves etc. than fine tune the roads as you’d like by clicking “via x” or clicking on a number point and clicking “move” than selecting on the map where to put it.

Absolute Best Riding/Routing App. Scenic is absolutely the best Motorcycle Touring App. There’s a slight learning curve when trying to create Routes from scratch but once you get the hang of it you can create, edit, copy & expand rides easily. Place Stops on your route for lunch, viewpoints, fuel, etc and get notifications as you approach them. Ride time and mileage is shown on your saved routes which I use to choose a ride with friends depending on their preferences or allowable time. Best of all is the outstanding customer support! Questions, tips, and help are responded to quickly. I’m just a happy customer and not affiliated with Scenic in any way!

Best Motorcycle App. Have used this app for almost a year. It is great for what I wanted: turn by turn verbal instructions; ability to import gpx files of planned tours; route sharing. My only negative was that I wanted to keep my phone in my pocket and just listen to the turn by turn instructions on the helmet Sena. However, for some reason it would turn off if the screen is not on after a while. Now I have a Ram mount for the phone and the app works perfectly. I have used several disappointing apps but this one does the things I want.

Best app to plan motorcycle trips. I have never rated an app but this is by far and away the best app to plan a motorcycle ride with. It has so many options in routing and planning the trip down to the last detail it makes it perfect to get the exact route you want to ride. If you want to let it decide the route that works good as well but I like to plan my entire route exactly on the roads I want to be on and of all the apps I’ve used this is the only one that always for that fully.

Great Update - Best Motorcycle Nav App. Calling this is an update doesn’t really fit as it is really an entirely new app. The new app is much easier to navigate and to create and edit roots. I really like having the stops and the via points. A key new feature for me is being able to organize my routes into folders. Adding a compass is great and having a map scale indicator is fantastic. I have tried many of the nav apps and this is the best one because everything (create, edit, record, nav, share, discover) is in one app. And can all be done on my iPad/iPhone.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!. If you love finding new routes to ride, especially if you love adding some dirt and fire roads to your adventure download this app right now. The free version is great in itself, but what’s worth the subscription is the “Round” trip in the Power Planner. We’ve found roads in our area we’ve never seen before, and they are fantastic. I can’t say enough great things about this app. If you have an iPhone and a motorcycle you’ve found the app!

Great product! They continue to improve.. I have tried a lot of offline Navigation options through the years this one works great. There are a few minor things that take some time to get used to. Pay for premium download the maps you won’t be disappointed! It would be great if Sena app would have a home button in Scenic as well as cobra radar. That would require a bit of collaboration, but would set all apart.

Excellent app to plan custom routes. Update: after one year of using this app to create custom routes, I am going to stick with it. It’s easy to drop the pins to create your favorite route. Well done! Overall, the app is easy to use to create custom routes and that’s the main point. Right? I’m also able to use routes created by others and edit them as well. Voice directions could use some improvements and the app, on occasion, gets “lost” and has difficulty getting you back on track. It’s still the best app for custom routes that I’ve used. Looking forward to more rides and app updates!

Top marks. Guido, I expect you hear good words from many types of riders. This is from a guy who still keeps a 60 year old Silva compass in a still on the bike 30 year old tank-bag. I’ve bought second hand bikes that had gps. Tom tom & garmin. I’ve hired many bikes in Europe with gps. They don’t begin to work for my methods. Doesn’t mean I think they are wrong. Just don’t help me. I just need a high contrast scrolling map. Your stuff works for what I find helpful. We are very far from “mainstream” & are pleasantly surprised to find your help. Thanks, Bart

Kind of good. This is a OK app, I will say it's very good at finding scenic routes and curvy Routes. But it's downfall is you have to pay for it to speak and you have to pay to download off-line maps we all know as you're riding in no where's Ville there is no Internet so you will continually have to pay every time you use it. My Big downfall is and I know this is whining it doesn't work with the gold wing audio system it talks while you're playing music and if you try to listen to music while it's plugged in it's audio talks while the music is playing and does a mute the music therefore you can't hear what it saying again I know this is whining

A great app! Very intuitive user interface design. This is the most effective app I have found for building custom routes and using turn by turn verbal instructions while underway. I like that the app doesn’t require a login once setup because then it can be launched while underway. As other apps come along, I find that they are less comprehensive than Scenic. Thus Scenic has become the bar I compare all other gps apps to and none are as capable.

Best phone gps app for motorcycles. Overall this is the best gps app for motorcycles on the market. You can import virtually any route including those you make on google. It’s not perfect though. If you rely on voice only prompts its slightly lacking in details like which direction of an interchange to take or how far to proceed after a turn to the next one. POI lookup is sparse at best so you still need google to do simple things like find food or gas nearby. I have run in to the occasional road where it thinks it’s blocked and will not allow it to be routed. It is excellent however at holding preplanned routes and group rides.

Best iPhone Motorcycle Navigation. I have tried Rever, Calimoto and others multiple times but always come back to Scenic. It has by far the best built in search, unique custom POI management and now also an awesome CarPlay integration. Wether single or on our weekly group rides, Scenic is the one app to count on. It also works perfectly in areas with no cell coverage. This App has been built by riders for riders. Guido and his team welcomes feedback and input and goes the extra mile to come up with improvements.

Great navigation for motorcycle. I do a fair amount of sport adventure motorcycle riding and camping and have been very happy with Scenic for trip routing and for use with imported GPX files (MABDR, NEBDR waypoints, for example). There are some minor glitches (read the “help” discussions on the Scenic website, very clear explanations for all the ones that I have experienced). I prefer using my phone than having a stand-alone GPS system, and Scenic has been super easy to use, good routing, and very reliable for me. I like the voice commands, so I upgraded to the premium version, no regrets!

App is significantly improved for 2020. Scenic was already helpful for finding fun, curvy routes, but it lacked some common sense features. This winter, the app got deep improvements, fixing all those issues and more. It now has options to turn features on or off (ex: display compass or not, reroute back to route or recalculate). Overall, this app has extreme utility far over and above google or apple maps. It’s a great tool for finding those great rides. 💯recommend (& thanks to the developer for making such a helpful free app!!)

Great touring companion. This app was exactly what I was looking for to not only track my rides, but plan out how I get from point A to B with everything I want in between. When I plan a cruise ride, I want to travel the backroads and scenic routes, but still have access to necessities like food and gas, etc. Scenic does a great job of route planning within the app itself, or I can upload a route and edit it on the fly. When navigating, the app does a great job of guiding me along as well as recalculating when I miss a turn or take a detour. Everything looks and works great!

Goodbye Standalone GPS. I heard the Scenic story on Adventure Rider Radio. So this prompted looking at new GPS units - and comparing I Phone Apps. I like that Scenic gives you a real trial. I downloaded Virginia and West Virginia and was out for about 300 miles and tried various routing options. First the app works incredibly well and takes only a few minutes to learn (unlike Basecamp) via points shape the route easily and I had no crazy circular routing! Second - It is so nice having one device - it’s a pleasure being able to change mid ride with phone in hand while getting coffee etc.

Best Nav for motorcycles so far.. Been trying a lot lately, so far this one is the best I have found. Only reason for only 4 stars is the directions can be a little confusing sometimes. (i.e. it will tell you to take exit 27 on to the A5, but there is 2 exits for A5, one going north and other for south) Sometimes its hard to tell which one to take. And I wish we had the ability to rearrange stops or way points. Definitely beats google and Apple Maps. Route you or whatever it is, is also garbage.

LOVE Scenic!. I have tested quite a few apps over the years to find what fits my needs best. The more I play with it, the more I find I can do with it. Anything from tracking, planning to sharing adventures with others. The only minor thing I kind of miss is having a lean angle for when I get into the twisties. But that is such a minor thing I can easier do without it and still be just as happy with this app. I would highly recommend it to any and all riders.

Outstanding planning and nav for motorcycles. I’ve been using Scenic for a couple of weeks having used several other navigation and track recording apps. Scenic is by far the best and is clearly designed by riders. It covers 3 tasks exceptionally well: planning, navigation, and track recording. It’s very intuitive and can be used with gloves, even on an iPhone SE. There are many more feature I need to try out but I think this one app handily replacing what I was doing with 3 separate apps.

Sturgis planning machine!. I went to Sturgis with the boys and I used the Scenic app for planning all the places we wanted to go. Even though we went a little different routes the app was easy to learn and skipping waypoints is awesome to get back on track with after completing and restarting a route. The view from the bike was easier and brighter than Apple, google or Waze apps in the direct sunlight. I was so impressed the first day I bought the lifetime subscription! Kudos Scenic!

Review from Eagle Rock Rider. My wife and I used Scenic for the first time this past week in a 3-day trip to SW Virginia and WV. We loved it!! I am new to all of the travel Apps and have looked at several. Scenic seemed the most friendly, practical and usable. I used Scenic in conjunction with a Butler map as I am old-school and live maps. The two are a great combo!! I suppose there are always critics that also make valid points and for that reason perhaps no rating gets 5-stars. However, for us, we give it 100%. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable.

Please allow to save a route using map and not route planner. When in Map and you enter address in there you want to go and you set for type of road like no highways and curve etc. and then it creates a route then we can delete some of the via points from that point you can't save it as a route unless you ride it. I would like to use this verses route planner as I may not know all the roads. If that was possible this would be a five star. Love this and I got my friend to join as lifetime member.

Love this app with one issue. I mapped out a lovely route. While riding I knew our turnoff was a particular highway. All of a sudden I realized my route had changed and directed me to go straight when I was 99% sure I should have turned onto said highway. I noticed throughout the day this was continuing to happen to the point I let someone lead who knew the way home instead of continuing on using the app. Please fix this bug. It’s like the app is picking a “better” or “different” route for you even if you have not missed any turns. Scary when you’re out and about hours from home.

What could be five stars is only four! What a shame. I use this app for my job. I’m a local truck driver who does residential housing. I tracked myself with the track me app and routed my GPX over to Scenic. Works perfect. Only problem is once you save as a track route you can’t edit or anything. Come on man. This should be simple to fix and implement. Really all I want to be able to do is map markers at houses I stop at while following the route. It won’t let me at all. Would be five stars if you could! It lets you mark on GPS navigation but I don’t need that as my route is to complex for GPS. Hopefully they read my review and fix. Overall great app.

Love it!. After many years of never being really unhappy with first Garmin and than Tom Tom this is it! In combination with an iPhone XR, Cardo Packtalk and a RAM X mount it works perfect. I was concerned about visibility in sunlight but it is as good or better a dedicated Motorcyle unit. What made me look for alternatives was the fact Tom Tom maps still can not be updated using the current Apple operating System. I was already very unhappy TomTom since I paid for Thailand maps last year and ended up using google maps on my iPhone since Tom Tom maps were full of errors. Highly recommended!!!

Updating My Review After a Year of Use. I’ve used quite a few route planning apps over the years, and when I wrote my review last year I was still testing the free version. I finally upgraded to the lifetime subscription to unlock the full features and I only wish I had done it sooner. When it comes to planning motorcycle trips, this is hands down the best bang for the buck, and the developer really pays attention to user feedback.

Added Features: Safety Cameras, Traffic flow, Construction Zones, Dirt roads, Battery Saver, Map Layers, Navigation+, and many smaller tweaks and improvements. Bugs fixed in v3.58 - Points and profile data overwritten when starting v3.5 for the first time on a 2nd device - When zoom is not set to manual, the dynamic island covers Compass/Scale/Elevation/Time on iPhone landscape. - When adding a stop in the power planner after a long tap that brings up the callout view, the stop’s name contains formatting code. - While navigating, the current road name is not in selected Map Language (always in local language) - The screen auto-locks during navigation after the "locations" tab in the search panel of edit mode was shown - In the power planner, can't move via a few feet (get message that your can't have two points in one place) - Current position indicator too low in landscape mode on some devices (overlaps with current street name) - Voice instructions are playing while the ride is paused manually - Zoom with handlebar controller not working on CarPlay - “Guidance to route” options not showing on CarPlay, although a pre-planned route was selected.
