More features. I love the app, it’s been amazing as far as telling me when a good time is to go fishing! I love that it gives you the top 5 and the predictions for the up coming days. The only thing I wish it had, was more features to put in for your day of fishing. For example, open the app, and you have options to choose if your fishing a lake, a pond creek whatever it may be, then being able to choose if the fish have been biting, if they’re difficult or if they’re just all over the place. And then another category that asks you about the water clarity with a variety of options because I think all that information calculated could make all the difference especially for bass fishers that are just now getting into the game. Most people can catch on fast, most wanna just do it for the sport, and I think this app could help people learn more if it just had more to it! It really would be so helpful with those types of features! All in all, I’m a pro member and use it daily!

DO NOT pay for this app. This app charges you for information that you can find for free on the internet. Also, its not accurate. It changes every day. I had planned a fishing trip around the days it said would be good, a few days in advance, I wake up today and the numbers are completely different and way lower. So why would I keep paying for an inaccurate forecast? The free version of the app gives you todays info which is really all you need and I wouldnt trust their predictions.

Frustrating. This app does have some useful basic general information about lure suggestions for different seasons and water conditions. With that said, the main feature of this app is the predictive bass forecast rating that gives a rating out of 10 on how hot the bite is supposed to be. This rating is based off of barometric pressure, temperature, lunar cycles, wind speeds, etc. I have never found this rating to be a good indicator of anything. I have only found it to be a source of frustration when I schedule my fishing outings around this apps suggestions and get skunked, meanwhile if I follow my own intuition and general knowledge about the best times to go fishing and baits to throw I can catch bass just fine. This app routinely suggests that fishing during the middle of the day is a “major time” for feeding based on solunar cycles. It just seems like the data points are not scaled for their impact on bass eating patterns and all carry equal weight which is simply not the case. It’s an over simplification that will cause more headaches than it’s worth. With that said, the 20 dollar coupon to tackle warehouse is a nice incentive to buy, and my coupon did work. I just can’t possibly recommend this app to anyone.

New Home for Bass Fishing. I just moved to a new town when I first downloaded BassForecast. I didn’t know much about the area and had no clue where I could fish. After some research I found a small lake with some promising locations. I used the app and made sure that I found the new spot just before the major evening bite. In less than a half hour I had caught three bass and one ended up being my PB for the summer. I’m convinced that BassForecast helped me have a great first experience at a new lake in a new town. Now I check the app every time I leave the house to fish.

Good app, could be a lot better. So this app is a good app in all, but one thing is that the calculator that looks at all weather variabilities needs to take into account if it’s really cold outside like in Minnesota right now it’s November and open water fishing is still on for like a month or something and it would be terribly hard to get a bass to eat with such a low water temp, but the app says it’s a “good” day or “fair” or whatever, like no it’s not haha. I would like an honest prediction for if I’m going to be wasting my time out there!!! And yeah yeah I understand how good of a day of fishing it’s going to be without this app as far as temp, but it could help others. Also why does every app like this have to have a premium? Like I know the creators could be making a living off of it but like they might be able to make more if they just had everything free and had enough people write perfect 5 star reviews, idk.

Seems Inconsistent. Bass Forecast has been a somewhat helpful app because the lures to use, the rating scale, and the adapted locations all seem to be pretty accurate. But the main problem is the Bass Season. The app will constantly go back and forth from winter, to pre-spawn, to spawn, then post spawn, and then will randomly go back to winter. One day it will say that the bass season is pre-spawn but then the next day it will say it is winter again. It is very confusing to know what bass season it actually is, and it just makes the app less accurate overall. Please fix this.

Dam near perfect. I’ve been bass fishing for over 60 years, and know pretty much every trick in the books, and this app is as close as it can get to being perfect. In south Florida the flood control district is constantly raising and lowering the water levels, so this app will give you the general idea of what to fish with, however on waterways where the levels are constant, thus app is flawless

Great Idea, Doesn’t Work. I downloaded this app with a buddy and it worked great for about a week. We had accurate weather data along with the major and minor times for fishing. Recently, we were both asked to verify our emails on the app and from there it went downhill. The app stopped working entirely. When opened, all data would be blank. I’ve contacted the support staff through email, with no solution. Since then, the weather data has partially been restored, but I’m not getting the fishing rating and major/minor times. I was very close to upgrading to the premium version before this happened, but I’m glad I didn’t at this point. I’ll give it another couple of days to see if the app corrects itself, but then I’m probably deleting because it’s just another weather app without the fishing data.

Good at making apps! Not at fishing!. I really thought when I purchased the app, it would have some detailed fishing info for my area. Instead you get “best” fishing times, and a generic map that shows where fish might be this time of year. The bait selection part is the same way. Anybody that spends time bass fishing, already knows what baits to use this time of the year. I really don’t see the advantage of having it. Whoever made it is obviously good at making apps and not a fisherman. Why not put lake levels for the selected area in the app? How about water temp for local lakes? How about if local lakes are releasing water? How about water color for local lakes? As far as I am concerned the best time to fish, is whenever you get a chance. Not when a app tells me it’s a good time to go. I should have researched it more before I bought it.

Doesn’t work.. (New update: Updating to four stars from three. With the Tackle Warehouse gift card, this is a good deal. I can’t attest to how accurate the app is, but it seems to be a good starting point) (Updating to three stars from one. After several days of communication with support, the app is now working.) I downloaded the app and subscribed to the pro version. All I see are some gray and white icons? and an advertisement for the pro version at the bottom. I clicked on the support tab and told them the issue and then sent a screenshot of what I see. A week later and It’s still not working. I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled several times.

Deleted app in 45 seconds. The second question asked when installing the app is "Tell your friends and family?" There is a button to accept this or you cannot prceed further, so I deleted the app. Why would I tell anyone about it before I have a chance to use it? This is forced gorilla marketing. Edit: I tried installing it again and it didn't ask that this time but installed successfully. Never did see the "skip" button though. Thanks anyways. I will check it out now.

Love this app.. Absolutely love this app. I have tangled with a few different of these forecasting type apps and I have to say this one takes the cake. By far the best app I’ve used and the best part is it doesn’t break the bank for the monthly charge if you buy the full version. I also like that it’s not an obligation to pay to get a forecast that is fairly on point (for those that don’t/won’t want to purchase). Keep it up!!!

BassForecast. The app is fine. It’s easy to use, and has some good information. Especially for beginners… which I assume this app is geared towards. With that being said, it would be nice if they provided more information about where to look for fish. It says things like “secondary points” and “bedding flats.” To a seasoned fishermen, we understand that, to a new guy… that’s almost gibberish. It would also be nice if they added a water clarity section, where users would input the water clarity for their lake that day, and the app could suggest good colors. Like black/blue when you’re fishing in chocolate milk.

The Real Deal.. I have been pleasantly surprised! I have learned to combine the knowledge I gain from this app with that of my sonar readings to find the fish during their most aggressive feeding hours. It helps me lock into a pattern that much quicker. There will always be those days where nothing seems to work but more often than not I have found this app to be very helpful.

Most useful app ever!. Most the time I don’t let apps control what I throw but when I use BassForecast I almost always catch 5+ fish in a 2-6 hour trip. Water is very cold by me and sits about 50 degrees right now early may. Today app said good rating went out for 2 hours and caught 4 fish. This app has made me a better fisherman it’s helped me win tournaments and get sponsors. Definitely would recommend.

Great app but need fixes. I love this App. It’s right on for the information it gives. But I’m currently having problems and about to delete it. After I log on it asked to choose a lake. So I choose one that I have put in, and it sends me back to the add lake page. It won’t let me input any lake and keeps going back to the add lake page. I’m getting really frustrated with this. Like I said when it was working, it was great. Absolutely love the app. So please help fix.

The weather isn’t up to NWS forecast quality.. I plan around this when I have time to kill and have no set schedule. However, the weather condition forecast trails well behind updates provided by the NWS. The app says favorable sky conditions but the NWS point forecast has clear with little wind. According to the NWS that spells a glass top and lots of sun with the accompanying heat. The app will say the opposite, touring overcast skies and nice 10mph winds. So far, the app has been 0 for 4 on the weather end. If the algorithm is going to use weather as a determining factor, I believe it should be updated as often as the official NWS forecast or at least draw data from multiple weather resources. Other than that, decent app combining the solunar tables, seasons and likely spots to snag them. Thanks.

Way too go!. Thanks for fixing the loading bugs. That was the only bad thing I could find. Now that you have fixed that problem there’s absolutely nothing to complain about. Nice to see that there are still some Americans who believe in performance and treating their customers right. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Best Tool In My Boat. I have been using BassForecast for awhile. I don’t leave the ramp without checking the app first. The daily ratings help me decide which days to go fun fishing and helps focus my practice time. Also gives me the confidence to fish certain techniques based on the ratings. It has salvaged a tournament day more than once. I can say that this app has played a big role in winning or placing in the money in multiple tournaments. Let’s face it, we all have lures in our boats that cost more than $10. Thanks BassForecast!

A Basic Bass Fishing App. BassForecast excels in giving the best bass fishing times of day. I also like the recommended baits and the descriptions of how they are used. The app has a store to buy fishing stuff but I haven’t tried it yet. Although I am not dropping my rating, I do find the generic map function to be of limited value. I already know the “best” places to fish on my lake. Perhaps, if I fished different lakes, this map would have more value. Bottom line, I think BassForecast is worth the annual subscription for the features described above.

Please fix this app.. I really like the app but the entire app is way off. In my area it says that the bass are post spawn when right now it’s definitely spawn right now it’s said it was post spawn for the last three months. Got to get the app fix or a lot of us anglers are going to delete this app for way better one. Worse part is I travel an fish an it’s said every town an place I been in is at post spawn. Definitely need to step the game up an fix the app an info

Not very accurate. When I first tried the app I thought it did a pretty good job forecasting good and bad days and different baits to try. Since the summer season began accuracy has been lacking. The app will rate a day as a good day and there will be no one catching fish in my area. I’m retired and fish with 5 or 6 other retired people on a regular basis. When none of us even gets a bite when the app forecasts a good day something is off. Between all of us we try all the recommended baits but nothing seems to work. I guess I’m trying to say that this app is not a magic bullet for catching more bass. It’s fun to look at and exciting when an epic day is forecast but I don’t think it’s helped me catch more fish.

Interesting App, but disappointing.. I bought the app to get some insight into which baits to use and why. When you select a bait, you go straight to Tackle Warehouse to buy the lure??? I wasn’t expecting a $10 app to be an add for Tackle Warehouse. Weather is a nice feature, but I have other preferred weather apps installed already. The “rating” system is interesting, but has information to explain or back up the ratings. The map feature is ok, but anyone who bass fishes knows that docks hold fish. Nothing really new here. Perhaps, I’m missing something? I was watching an episode of “Lunkerville” and saw the app mentioned. I wish I had researched it a little more before purchasing it. I will buy a few things on Tackle Warehouse and use the $10 coupon, so I am “even.” I don’t think I will renew the app next year.

Very slow and half of app doesn’t work. Hasn’t worked since I purchased app. I’ve tried using this app several times thinking maybe there am was a glitch and they will fix it being I emailed the developer a few times without response. I finally got a response and I followed all the instructions to reset the app with no luck and now seems to take even longer to open. Frustrating and not worth all the time I wasted trying to fix it. Don’t waste your time bc if you have a problem they take 2 days to respond and it’s just a standard email they send everyone

Great app, but dropped rating for removing previous features.. 2nd UPDATE: Rating restored. Finally got in contact with support and even exchanged emails with the co-founder, who was very personable and resolved all issues. UPDATE: Rating changed to 1 star for customer service/developer not following through with their offer. They replied to my previous review offering a free subscription in return for feedback. When I sent them an email, a ticket was opened, but I never received a response back (it’s been 2 weeks now) This app is the easiest to use out of all the fishing weather pattern apps. The free version even used to give you information on which land features to fish and what baits to use. With the new update, this has been taken away and only allowed for paid subscribers. I’ll probably pay for the subscription since it’s only $10/year (as of June 2019) and I enjoy the app.

Love Largemouths? This is THE BassFishermen’s App. Period.. I’m an avid fishermen, specifically targeting bass. It’s my passion. I learned years ago that to succeed with bass fishing it requires learning & understanding the species themselves...How they’re affected by the weather, the environments in which they live/feed/thrive, their behaviors throughout the year and how it relates to bait selection, etc.. IMHO, there is no better App available that effectively understands this AND implements it into their product. This is The App for the working man who loves fishing and wants to maximize their chances on the water. Knowing in advance the days of the month that are conducive to Catching Bass allows you to better plan your trips to the lake. Bc the app utilizes AccuWeather Radar, they offer tips that hit it on the head. The developer understands what it takes to be a successful BassFishermen, and that’s the biology & behavior of the fish itself, and how/when/where you’re most likely to hook into those monster Bass. Plus, the foundation of the app is so solid, that it will only get better and broader with time. Get the app. Well done on an all around killer Bass App.

The app is decent, but…. The app does provide _SOME_ correct weather conditions, but definitely needs to use a more accurate API. I’ve also noticed the “cover” option is not accurate at all. Also, making people pay for “unlocked” access to features isn’t worth it at all. It’s an ok app for those that are beginning anglers. If used on an iPad, the app does not provide an option to flip it on the devices side. Which is fine for a smartphone, but not a tablet. The people doing the dev work on this app should think about adding support for tablets.

Well Worth It. I purchased this app in March 2019. I was in a sporting goods store and over heard some other anglers bragging on the app. I loaded it to my phone that night. It began paying dividends the very next day. I’ll fish anytime, but what I found was the app was very accurate on the best feeding times. Being able to look 10 days into the future is very helpful. So many things in this app that will make your fishing trips successful. I highly recommend this app.

Pre Snow Storm Fishing. I am an avid follower and believer of this app! Last week the app was forecasting a 7.2 rating on Monday, before the snow storms. There was a warming trend. I planned my trip accordingly and took off work. My buddy and I ended up catching over 40 fish between 2 and 5.5 #’s. I used all the recommended lures and fish the recommended locations of the lake. Sure enough…the fish were shallow and hitting on red rattle traps and paddle tails. Ended up being one of the better fishing days of mine 30 years a bass fishing! Thanks Bassforecast!

Best tourney trail finish this year thanks to BassForecast. As a competitive kayak bass angler, BassForecast has become as important a tool as my rods, reels, and tackle. BassForecast helps my pre-fishing game plan immensely. Pairing the forecast up with my additional research of maps and satellite images allows me to make the most of my time on the water in the highest percentage areas. I set new personal bests in both largemouth and smallmouth bass and had my best statewide tournament trail finish this year. I absolutely have to attribute some of this success to my first fishing season using BassForecast, it has certainly helped me spend more time in the most productive water, throwing the most productive baits on any given day.

Confused angler. I do not understand how the ratings are high on a day in the future (let’s say 3-7 days) and then when that day approaches the ratings will change. For example, when I looked at next weeks forecast Tuesday and Wednesday were high value days but now when I look at those days later in the week the rating is much lower. I thought the forecast was more or less based on solunar tables or some other standardized method. If I look at the forecast for next week, shouldn’t it also be the same if I check it tomorrow or the next day? For now I will rate it 4 stars, but I would like to be able to plan my week around the forecast.

Somewhat helpful I think??. I like this app. As a fairly new fisherman I like that this app claims to help me know what days are potentially better than others. I like that it tells you where (what parts of a lake) to fish and how fast and even the potentially best lures. What I wish it had more of is the why?? Why is this lure better today? Why are drop offs better today than the main lake? I believe the people using this app are mostly newbies to fishing because I imagine more experienced anglers already have or know where to get this knowledge for free. Would love to see some tips from the pros or even some write ups about lures or something pertaining to the conditions the app is showing on a given day. But more than anything. I’d love to know why the app is telling me to use this location, presentation and lure on a given day. Thanks for reading. Great app though but could be better. I feel like the info the app is giving is found easily on the net if you know what your looking for though. I don’t mind paying for it because knowledge is power and if you’ve got the knowledge and I don’t. Well.... you get it.

Great App!. As with all weather/fishing apps, I suppose it is very hard to predict wind, weather and fish activity and be 100% correct every time. However, this app is set apart from the rest. I have used many, and have found this app is far above the rest when looking for dependable accuracy. Love it! Highly recommended.

Nokia flip phone 1995 vs iPhone 12. When the app 1st came out, it was up to speed, seemed like a good idea even though multiple factors were missing (in fairness they couldn’t haven’t known all of them) mainly like conditions and weather. As time has gone on, they’ve taken the money, acknowledged the others had passed them in technology and essentially gave up. Emailed a couple times and was informed an update was coming Any day. It was 137 days till the update came and it placed a dock on the map and ledges. The baits/lures never change for months and months at a time. Sure In disclosure it’s the cheapest; however you get what you pay for. If you want a fishing app, that you’ll use and get useful info from this isn’t the one for you. While the others are utilizing current technology and professionals, they are using “bass pro Shops website for facts Basically got left behind.

It was good. Ok so about a year ago the button at the bottom right (the one where it’s shows what lures to use and where) was free and that was my favorite part of the app (just getting into bass fishing it really helped) but then they made it a premium feature; yes the when to fish helps at times but I just think that they ruined the main purpose of the app, they did add the weather part but personally I don’t really use it, besides this major flaw I think that they did an amazing job making the app easy to use and to understand.

Actually works. I downloaded this app for the fun of it, then went out on a 9.4 rating day, used the recommended baits, and caught loads of bass! I went out almost a week later on a 9.1 day, and used the recommendations, and caught a lot of fish, but not as much as the 9.4 day. The app is somewhat finicky tho, but unlike other apps, is mostly accurate

Update takes it to a new level. I’ve been using BassForecast for quiet some time and am a serious tournament angler. The update is a complete game changer! The bait recommendations are way more specific and are chosen on the type of cover your fishing, which is a big bonus when you fish a bunch of different lakes. It even tells you the right equipment to use. The other cool thing I noticed with the update is that it tells you why the rating for the day is what it is. So instead of it just being a good or bad day to go fishing, it gives you some detail. Definitely looking forward to using this a little more this season, it’s brought me some great success in the past.

$20 a year for info you can get online and changing forecasts!. So it’s only $20 for a whole year plus you get a $20 gift card. But the info isn’t great. Maybe for a beginner but most recommendations are obvious ie switch to finesse if it’s cold. Also the forecast changes A LOT. Tomorrow and the next day were forecasted in the 7s all through yesterday. Now they are 4s. Next had a day ranked 10. I was super stoked. Now it’s a 3. If their whole selling point is a 10 day forecast so you can plan a fishing trip, but the day rankings change wildly, then what am I actually getting? Most of this info can be found online for free. And Tyler Anderson? I actually do love his videos but he’s super corny and his Christian capitalism is not appealing. There’s go to be a better app.

Love this app!!!. I am an avid fisherman and when I got this app I wondered if it would work. I have had this app now for over a year and absolutely love it! It helps mostly on the days that the fish are not bitting for me the most. I can look up other lures then my go too’s and catch fish. If your looking for an app that really work get this app. I plan on keeping it as long as I fish and I’m not looking to quit anytime soon. My daughter loves to fish and will take my phone just to look at the app to help her catch fish also. A must have on your phone for the days the fish don’t bite and for the days they are.

Not to bad. Fine tune.. So I have been using this app for a while and when I say a while I’m talking at least three to four or more years. I use this app in conjunction with another app when used not as a stand alone app it is good especially if you are just starting to learn to fish. The reason for the four stars is if you could add an off line feature it would get a five star rating from me.

Was enjoying but something is wrong now. About 2 weeks ago the app completely stopped working for about three days. When it did start back working all of my saved lakes and information were gone. Then when it came back the country India was a saved as two lakes, which I did not save and I couldn’t delete them from my list of lakes. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Afterwards all my lakes and information returned and only one India lake was on my list. I live in Texas and have no reason to have the country India saved as a lake. I was finally able to delete it permanently. Now every couple days the app forces me re-sign up for the pro version which I paid for almost a year ago. Once I sign on, it recognizes that I’m already a pro member. Also the current condition in my area is spawn season. The app says summer currently and I keep having to change it to post spawn, which we aren’t in. This region is in spawn. Before I started having issues the app season didn’t match my region and I would have to change it. I was enjoying the app until this glitch. I’m worried about my information being compromised. My 12 months as a pro member is about to end and if these issues aren’t fixed I’m afraid I won’t be renewing my subscription. Also I mostly bank fish ponds, retention ponds and bank fish lakes. Is there an option where the app can read the ponds I fish in my area instead of the lakes?

Eric Faucett Fishing Media Rates BassForecast a 10 out of 5!!!. I have been using BassForecast for over 2.5 years now! I have become such a big believer in the algorithm! When fishing a tournament, I use the fishing forecast that is predicted with the 10 Day Premium version to plan my tackle preparation. Basically, finesse gear on low rates days, and power fishing on high rated days, subject to Lake and seasonal patterns of course, but how the mood is predicted in the forecast makes such a big difference on what I’m going to offer the fish!! Must have and let’s be real, I lose more $15 crank baits in a trip than what this app costs!! And If I lose my phone in the lake, I can redownload from the cloud when I get my new phone haha Crankbaits just cost me more money every time I lose one 😂😂😂😂

Consider me impressed. I’ve had a lot of different fishing apps and this is buy far the best one I’ve had yet. The major thing I was impressed with was how the app doesn’t practically force you to buy there premium membership which is nice. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against premium memberships but when your app is practically useless without it consider me out, this is not one of those apps.

Recent update lost me. App was pretty good before the most recent update. It would give a 10 day forecast on when is the best time to fish. However, now you have to pay for a subscription to see the 10 day forecast. If you don’t have the subscription you can only see the forecast same day and not the 9 other days. While I do understand there is a free trial, it is upsetting to see a paywall for essentially the main feature of this app. Ultimately, this app has turned obsolete after the update. I no longer recommend this product to anyone.

Unsure as of now. I really like the fundamental idea of the app, however, the only option I have to “log in” is through Facebook. I don’t have, nor do I want a Facebook account. Other than “continuing as a guest” I feel I am restricted from certain aspects of the app. I am currently using the 60 day free trial and so far I truly enjoy the limited functions that do work. On the map of the lake where fish “should” be, the informative boxes that pop up do not generate any text, at all. If you can fix the app to where non social media users can log in through an email; I think it would be much better. The overall cost ($10/yr) is a steal when factoring in the data collected and dispersed from all over. If I cannot log in as a “verified user”, then I will cancel and delete the app once my 60 day trial has expired. I also emailed the customer support last week and haven’t received a reply pertaining to my issue. That’s why I gave it a 2 star rating. Terrible customer service. If they can improve their customer relations issues and the log in issues, it would easily be rated a 5+ star app. Sincerely, Disappointed

Skunk free days!!. Traditionally a saltwater guy I never pay attention to lunar schedules or tide schedules because I always catch something...it’s the ocean!! But now I Bass fish 7 days a week and I would skunk days even weeks at a time. Until I reached the end of the line and decided to use BassForecast as my guide. I feel like such an idiot for not finding this app sooner. Never thought Bass fishing requires more skill and knowledge than saltwater.

The app almost tells you everyday is a mediocre day. The app almost tells you everyday is a mediocre day. I have had the app for several months (3+). I’ve never seen the app tells you solid an epic day. Obviously I have had epic days during those predicted mediocre days. Even they said there will be epic days in 4-5 days, when the days getting close, they will change them to mediocre days. They just want to play safe so people who don’t know how to fish will not blame them for not catching fish during the predicted epic days. Not sure how useful the prediction is. The predictions are almost not informative to me. But they don’t charge your much, comparing to the other popular but non-informative app Fishbrain.

Good Bass app.. So far I’ve enjoyed the PRO features. The layout is pretty straightforward and well polished. Good information. My only complaint lies in the fact that I can’t pinpoint actual lakes without being on them while adding them. I’ve tried searching every major lake in my state (home of several MAJOR tournaments) and they don’t come up. The closest adjacent town often has completely different data sets for the predictions. A map function would be best for this task.

Epic bonding experience with my son!!!!. My 5 year old son and I just got into bass fishing, downloaded BassForecast and saw it was an “EPIC” rated day...so we packed up our gear and headed out to fish a public pond. 10-15 min in my son decided to throw a whopper plopper and BOOM!! The biggest bass I ever saw smashed the it. It weighed 6.8 pounds and was half as long as my son. It was a great bonding experience and time to be a father. If it wasn’t for BassForecast telling us to go fish, I don’t think I would have this close relationship I have now with my son. Thank you.

Please fix. Ok, so I’ve had the app for almost a week now. I absolutely love the aesthetics, the layout and all the information provided for you. I am however on the verge of deleting the app because of some issues. When I open the app, it says reeling in the middle for well over 5mins before I can do anything. Also, when I tap the center to view major/minor feeding times they are blank for several minutes. Then when I switch between viewing weather info or lures it says reeling for another 3-5mins before allowing me to do anything. This is extremely frustrating when I’m out fishing and need to gather information quickly but I’m forced to stand there and wait multiple times for things to load. Please, please resolve this issue. This is hands down my favorite app for fishing times and I do not want to go back to one of the many others I’ve used in the past but if I am forced to continue waiting and waiting, I will delete and go back. This app is sincerely great, and I highly recommend it to anyone out there. The info accuracy and weather accuracy is hands down the best. Accu weather is my one and only weather source and has been for many many years. Again, I love this app and don’t want to go back to garbage wanna be’s so please resolve these issues so I can continue using my app. Thank you ladies and gents for the time and for the effort to fix whatever the issues are. I know you guys will take care of it.

Not Good won’t load 80% of time. Since I upgraded to pro the app doesn’t work or load nearly all the time… like it’s a scam to get pro and works was worse than the free version.

Amazing. This App is not some crap shoot that is hit or miss. The other day it was listed as Epic for my area and I caught a dozen bass in four hours. On the other hand the outlook will change in the middle of the day if the weather changes. I do wish that they would fix the excessive buffering time.

Great app just fix or add a few things. It is a great app and has helped me and my friends catch pbs but sometimes we have gone out for 6 or more hours and used the top rated baits, location, and when it said it was a 6.5 and caught nothing. I also think that you should not have to pay for extra days just so you can see in advance if their is a good day coming up. But all in all great app.

A little frustrating. I’m still having an issue where even after upgrading to the pro account I am constantly seeing an advertisement to upgrade to the pro account. Very annoying. Take it away. Also, why are lakes in my area not in the app? Why can I not add a lake? We should be able to do this otherwise this app is simply a fancy weather app for predicting fishing days.

Best bass fishing app I’ve come across. Best part of this app to me is how it recommends which bait to use and also has instructional videos on how to use them. Plus links to buy them and other tips and tricks. Just an all around great app!

Best Fishing App I’ve found!. This app gives you tons of info...what days are best, what lures are best, what structure the fish are most likely at. Basically all the info you could need and it’s the cheapest fishing app I’ve found. $10 for a year!!

Great app. So far most of the info has be very accurate great for a new fisherman and helps us tourney fisherman. Big thing I love is having all the info I look in several places to get in one app and u can’t beat getting the app for premium and getting the incentive for the 10 dollars back at tackle warehouse no brainer !!!!

Bass Forecast Review. Love this app, been using it for 3 years or so now. My grandfather used to get on different websites and farmers almanacs and make his own fishing forecasts with the barometric pressures and temps as well as moon cycles and print them out for me. He’s passed away now so it’s really cool to have this to use now.

Top Fishing App Out There. Had the app for a month and the bass ratings have been spot on. The app layout is incredibly simple to use packed with just enough information to make for a great fishing experience while not throwing too much unneeded info at you. Within the one month I’ve had the app I caught my PB. Definitely would recommend!

Awesome and easy to use. This app is very helpful. You can pick the cover and season you’re fishing in and the app will determine the best lures for whatever scenario. Then, you can click on helpful videos that show you how to use those baits. Highly recommend!!!

Good but buggy. I am a paid/pro member but for some reason I am trying to login and it’s not registering that I am a paid user so it prevents me from seeing more than 2 days. If the app would just work right it would be great, as of right now it’s broken. Even my Apple ID data shows it as a paid subscription. Very frustrating.

Fish like a girl. I use Bass Forecast faithfully to tell me the best days to fish. It has so many great features. As a relatively new bass angler it has taught me so much about bass fishing and gear to use. I have been very pleased. I pull up the forecast everyday - sometimes several times a day! Best app ever!!

Calendar..... The calendar mode shows a different condition than the actual day when you click on that day. Example: The calendar may show 6.0 but when you click on that day, it shows 8.3. Otherwise, I like the app and it appears to be fairly accurate.

Guys- please fix. Please fix the issues of not showing minor and major times and always pending An update. Reeling for several minutes. Same issues as Rick it appears. Loved the app when it worked. Will love it again when u get it fixed or at least let me know what I am doing wrong with my account. Have sent a couple of emails to support after trying everything suggested - no response back.

Please Fix update. App seemed to be ok until I updated it. I paid for a year of pro over a month ago and now, since it updated, it wants me to pay again, but this time for twice the price! The app is useless now and it doesn’t work in free mode either.

Paid for premium but it doesn’t work. Used the app for months and worked ok. Now it says I have to pay for premium which I did a while ago. Sent an email, haven’t heard back

This thing works. This app is amazing. Uses water temp data to tell me the bass feeding season and recommends not only what baits to use, but what areas of a lake to find them based on their behavior for that time in their annual cycle. Just awesome. Telling me when the best odds will be 10 days out allows me to plan my life around getting out for the best conditions. Love it.

Don’t Overthink it!. This app is a great tool to save you some time before you go out and to help plan your upcoming fishing trips. It has helped me become a better angler faster than if I was trying to figure it all out on my own. Worth the investment to get the pro version for sure.

Useful Tool. Ever since I started using the app. I have noticed that my catch rate is better on higher rated days. Also, I really like the feeding period time indicator. This is when you want to be on and around your most productive areas. Thanks for creating and sharing this great resource.

Proven App. This app has been shockingly accurate. I have strayed away from the lure and depth recommendations and find much less success. There have been very trips where it hasn’t been dialed in. Highly recommend downloading and subscribing to all features! I’ve tried other apps with much less success.

Update: Everything works!. Everything on the app works as it should now. Great app! App worked great for about 2 weeks. After that, the major and minor times stopped showing up. E-mailed customer support via the app several days ago and haven’t heard back. It’s great when it works, but meh when it doesn’t.

Unsubscribing. I have been using this app for over a year without much success using the recommendations. I fish canals so the “top structure” map doesn’t apply. I live in South Florida and our seasons are much different than the rest of the country so that might be a factor. The number scores are unreliable because I have caught lots of fish on low score days and got skunked on high score days.

Great sounding app.. This would be a great app to have and be able to use. I down loaded it, bought it! And I want to be able to use it! Not have to sit here and try to get it to work! I get very frustrated, I want to go fishing not read how great others say it works! I am use apple iPad and phone. I bought, at least I thought I did get the premium app. But I keep getting,, the buy the premium app for this or that! Then you try to sell me lures! I will try again but if it doesn’t work I’d like my money returned. Thanks for the great idea, Wayne

Unreliable, Great concept,. It’s almost everytime I go out lately. Check the app the night before for an amazing 7.5+ forecast. Rig all the rods up, go to bed, up before the sun, open the app, rating goes down two points and all the baits change while I’m sleeping. If you can’t forecast accurately within 8hrs, why bother trying to forecast the whole week…???

Best bass app!!. I love this app!! It’s great to re-live the catch. I can go back and look at catches and see the conditions I had on that day and try to repeat it. I noticed that you don’t exclusively use the Solunar calendar, but so far your forecast seems to be better. Not sure how you do that but glad you do!! Thanks for all your hard work!!

Very slow loading since redesign. It takes at least five minutes to load my information since the update. This isn’t really acceptable. I live the app but I can’t wait that long for it to load.

Bass fishing perfection. A major update in this app just came through and I’m very impressed. You can search through your preferred lakes and compare conditions in each with ease. Everything from choosing the right tackle to precise area in my body of water is all there. Love it. Thanks for making this a great app!

Good. I believe you are going in the right direction with this app. The moon/sun phase is highly accurate. Current weather you show but greatly affects the fishing. I would give you 5 stars if you actually tailored each day to be more affected by the weather. Overall Good app!

Premium has ruined the app. The app was super dope, really innovative, and unique. and thennn they added premium, if you don’t wanna pay for premium. you’re just going to get a weather app that tells u if the fishing is good or bad, instead of the best lures to use, best way to fish them, and what lures to use based off of if there’s weeds or rock etc. You’re better off just using Fishbrain and guessing off of what other people have caught fish with and their times.

Not a good day. Today was an 8.6 rating so I missed a family gathering to go bass fishing. Strategy said fast presentation and use top water. Didn’t get a single bite on any of my top water lures. In 7 hours of fishing I caught only 3 keepers the biggest being 2 LBs. I fished from 7 AM - 2:30 PM. Prime bite was 1PM - 3 PM and I only caught one then. It was fun to be out in my bass boat but very dissatisfied.

It’s actually kinda dope.. When I downloaded it it wasn’t working but after the update it’s been smooth. All kinds of info as far as what baits to use and where to use them. Definitely gonna be using this apps this summer

AWESOME APP!!!. Downloaded this app back in April and have been using it everyday! Tons of information all in one app which keeps you from having to go to many different apps to get all the info you need. I love it and so do my boys!!

Clock face needs options. I’m more of a timeline guy so if you put your app in a clock style you should allow the user to adjust the face. The 6am at the 9pm spot is annoying to me and I would add more intervals like a watch face. Hard to clarify what time starts the hot times and touching the face did not pop up the time. The data seems accurate and helpful. Just poor user interface in my humble opinion

Landed my best bass of the year!. I had the typical itch for fishing last month, and used the BassForecast app to help predict the best day to sneak out of work early and landed my best bass of the year when capitalizing on the early fall bite! App is awesome and a must have for predicting optimal fishing times for anglers with limited time to get in the water!

Absolutely bogus. I check the app many times throughout the day and do exactly as it says, no bites. Granted I don’t have a boat I bank fish and again, no bites. This time of year in my location it’s breezy and at times very blustery, the app claims winds make bass bite more aggressively, that’s nonsense. And again I use the recommended baits at the recommended speeds, in the recommended spots and no bites. At the end of the day I find myself saying, “I can’t believe I paid for this app 🤦🏻”

Pond Jumper. Call it what you want , but the first time I used this app and took it seriously, and followed what it was telling me I hooked up to two of the best fish I’ve caught in years and within 15 minutes apart. From what time to fish the pond , to exactly what lure and how to fish it... Everything was on point and I’ve been a believer sense!!! B.C.M.

Bassforecast. I really love using my Bassforecast App to help me plan my fishing trips! It’s not magic but it gives me good information about weather & the major & minor feeding times. I appreciate the occasional updates, like showing where to fish according to seasons & what lures might work best! It’s another fishing tool & so convenient to have on my phone!👊🎣

App rating. I feel that this app is broad and needs to be more specific on the variables used to make the bass forecast. Forecast should be in real time so we can see what is affecting the fishing. Should show better times to go fishing according to sunrise and sunset. Really just not accurate.

Poor costumer servace. I got this app not long ago and purchased the premium, but when I logged on another device the it did not let me use the premium after restoring purchases and even deleting and reinstalling the app. I tried emailing and got little help and then nothing after the next several days. I even tried calling but no one answered. If I got some help I might change my mind. But other than the costumer service the app itself works well.

Best fishing app I've used. Like the title says, best app I've used for fishing. Hours of major and minor times are accurate, and I've caught some major bass using the app. Ended up buying the full version to support this app because it works so well. Only $9.99 a year and totally worth it if you wanna fish during peak hours.

Love this app. I started using Bass Forecast mid summer of last year. I have been extremely pleased. I really enjoy the lure suggestions and how fast or slow to retrieve them. I sincerely feel it has enhanced my ability to catch fish. I would highly recommend Bass Forecast to any bass fisherman.

Poor Implementation. App’s so-called “premium” features do not work. I’ve purchased premium but every time I attempt to use one of these features all I get is the sign-up page telling me it can’t connect to the App Store. This has been happening for more than 24 hours. A full week later and this app still will not work. Why does it insist on trying to set up a new email account in order to connect? When I go along with it Apple tells me, rightly, that my account is already set up. This looks like it would be a nice app ... if only it actually worked.

Recording me. I really don’t like the fact that you keepVideotaping me when I am on my phone like right now I don’t think I can see you but I can’t little orange is not showing me my camera is running the whole time I am on your app I will be canceling my up scription because of that constantly recording me thank you have a nice dayAnd now they won’t let me send my review

Eh. It’s got good small reminders, however the weather is why I got this app. explain to me why for a whole week a day shows 6.5 and I plan for that day and it shows a 4 when it’s that exact day. It’s was better before I paid for this app

Been a user for years.. I did purchase premium and find that whenever my app says it is good or epic fishing for the day I always end up catching an amount of bass that proves that app right. I also do like the bait recommendations with a fish log to track my catches. I find this a nice cheap, fishing tool.

Amazing app!. This app is so well done and is super clean! I love how it looks and works! I’ve learned a ton of things from it and wouldn’t recommend any other fishing app! Download it if you want to get better at fishing, learn a lot about bass behavior, and catch fish!

Subscription. It’s an alright app. Has had tons of bugs for a while. So have been worked out whole new ones keep popping up. I’ve paid for the subscription for over 2 years and now that they’ve taken free features and made them subscription only, they no longer work, with my active subscription.

Problem. I’ve had this app for quite a while and it’s been really really good however today I went to go and check the app so I can go fishing. I have no lakes and when I try to add my lakes back it won’t let me

Simple to use, and an extremely helpful tool.. The newest update to Bass Forecast has a more efficient feel and runs smoothly. Simply put this app will maximize your time on the water and put fish in your boat. I use it every time I plan a fishing trip to ensure my time is spent catching bass and having fun. I highly recommend it. -David B. (Florida)

Great App!. I’ve been using the app for years now and all across the country from Florida to the Midwest and at home in the Northwest. I find it to be very accurate and extremely useful in planning when I want to fish…

Update your app people that are complaining it doesn’t work. This is a great app. I too opened the app a few days ago and it said I no longer had a subscription, when in fact I did. I went to the App Store today, updated the app and once in the app I selected the option to restore the purchase and it is now working again.
