LifeLock ID Theft Protection Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

We trust LifeLock to keep us safe.. We have been LifeLock members for probably 10+ years. Not really sure when we first signed up, but they have proven their value time and again, to our financial safety. Besides immediately asking if we have opened new credit card accounts, they’ve also confirmed that we have applied for new car loans. LifeLock helped in first resolving, and then continued to monitor our bank accounts after it was discovered that we had been targeted for IRS fraud in California although we have never claimed California as our domicile. They also issue alerts when sex offenders move into your neighborhood and give you current credit ratings with all three credit monitoring companies. My only complaint would be that a husband and wife must pay for separate accounts annually, although most everything is under joint ownership.

It really does work!!!. Twice LL has found Dark Web breaches of a rarely used email account ( hacked 2x's -nightmare).Closed those old email addy's. Then several days after this Christmas, I got an alert : a douche bag tried but failed to buy a Sprint cell . Life Lock froze that attempt. And notified law enforcement in that jurisdiction. I'd injure the crook if I could. He/ she will have bad juju ( karma ). Life Lock is well worth it. The monthly standard protection is 3/4 coffee drinks. Having been hacked / victimized over 7 different times , I had enough. Got LifeLock plus other credit / financial / bank / credit card / etc., monitoring services. A mixture of basic free ones & other paid services. Equals Peace of Mind for me.. A Convinced Client ...

I like it so far!. The app is very convenient. It gives great tips and gives me peace of mind. I’m 21 yo and my sister give my SSN and personal information to a friend of hers to file me on the friends taxes and split the money. Currently doing a federal investigation right now… but anyway, I got LifeLock Ultimate Plus and pay annually. You can do a 30 day trial actually if you can find a link for it. I think it’s worth it. There’s a feature to talk to a live agent through message or phone call. You will get alerts if your information is on the dark web or being used. I have it set up for email, text message, and the app will alert me if this happens. You can lock your credit stuff or freeze it (there is a difference between a fraud alert and a freeze). You can freeze your bank stuff, your utilities. You can even get alerts for any criminal records if someone were to use your information as an alias. Protect your 401K money or other investments. A lot of the alerts and services they offer will have a description and why it’s important. Now this is just what my Ultimate plan offers. You can add other members but I only pay for myself.

Lifelock is a Life Saver!. As being a client of theirs, it’s brought a lot of peace to my mind. Before I started using this Amazing company; I was already having my information and my credit being monitored by three other companies that were not just some fly by night. Knowing what I’ve learned since joining Lifelock and I do believe that I’m still binded in with one other company still; Lifelock and the one other company are the ones who caught all the issues and identity theft attempts/issues to my accounts, personal information, and my credit reports, credit cards, and all other accounts that are/have been opened in my name. It’s truly Amazing that these people doing all this mess need to be brought to Gods home, the Church, and be truly taught His word, and what He does expect of each of His children!

App Rocks. First of all having this particular credit monitoring service is a breath of fresh air. I am not as worried as I used to be about someone stealing my identity. They are definitely on point. When I am at a car dealership or something that requires me to run my credit, they let you the minute whoever hits the submit. LifeLock informs me with and seconds!! asking if it was me and if I authorize this particular merchant to run my credit, it’s amazing!! As far as credit monitoring goes it is top-notch it definitely is more reliable than their competitors like Credit Karma and other monitoring systems. I’m definitely happy camper. It’s straight to the point uncomplicated and let me know exactly what I need to know without a side sales person trying to pitch me a Lone/Credit cards.

It’s still up to you.. I keep an account with Experian and have for years. I make sure I use credit alerts on my bank accounts and credit cards. I also make sure I always have my Norton security software on all our computers and phones. I received LifeLock as an add on to Norton. Frankly it’s just insurance. I make sure that my family is very familiar with social engineering and how it is used to compromise the security of our accounts and how it is used by identity thieves. LifeLock is a tool, like the lock and key on your front door of your home. You are the one who remembers to close and lock the door. Keep your address up to date with credit bureaus and dispute any incorrect information there. Be aware of ways social engineering is used by criminals to exploit the one thing most vulnerable, which is you. The LifeLock service and this application are tools, but if you don’t make yourself aware of how you can protect yourself by being aware of how email and other communications are used to load malware and virus software to your devices and to get you to reveal PII information used for identity theft, then no tool or insurance will prevent criminals from targeting you.

Don’t use credit without this. If you get paid in cash and you buy all your goods and services with cash, and you live in your mom’s basement for free, and she gave you a cell phone or land line to call your friends (if any) then you don’t need this service. The app is pretty good. My only complaint is that each alert is a separate text and/or email. I would suggest combining multiple alerts from the day/hour into one comprehensive message. I need to dismiss them individually on the dashboard anyway, so it makes sense to group them. Example: A couple of my accounts disconnected due to security updates, and when I discovered they were no longer alerting about purchases/transfers, I reconnected. For the next hour I received 36 emails and texts. Would have been more convenient to get one or two and then go to work marking them ok or not.

The best investment I've ever made!. I've been a LifeLock customer over three years now. The mobile app has come a long way since it was first introduced. It's finally worthy of a 5-Star rating, imho! Simple and well-organized via a series of tabs, and packed with useful information--some specific to my financial profile that has helped me keep things in check each and every month, and the rest that may be useful in the future. It appears LifeLock has been listening to their customers and making improvements and tweaks to the mobile app. At this point, the annual subscription is a no-brainer and easily leads me to state without hesitation that it's the best investment I've ever made! Thank you LifeLock for my peace of mind and all the on-going assistance.

Great program, but terrible app and customer service!. I gave you a 3 star rating only for my hope that your program will work if I ever have to take advantage of it. But after that, it is a 1 star support program. You can’t do anything on the app really but monitor. If you try to manage your account or change anything you have to call. That is where the pain starts. You go through the automated zoo and end up talking with “Bob” or “Sally” from somewhere in India after 30 min if you are lucky. You can’t understand what they say half the time, they can’t give you straight answers. It is utterly painful. Let alone when “Bob” or “Sally” have equipment issues or your call gets dropped and you have to start over. Some of the worst app and customer service EVER! I can only imagine what would happen if I had to use their program guarantee and “Bill” or “Beatty” from India had to help me.

On Top of Matters. My wife and I have had LifeLock for many years...too many to count (we’re in our mid-50s). We have a very high confidence in their ability to alert us to identify issues impacting us. A couple examples. A few years back we added a mobile phone to our cellular plan and by the time we returned to our car from the cellular store, I had a fraud alert text on my phone from LifeLock alerting me a phone was added. Second, we recently took out a car loan to pay off a lease and while I was at the banker’s desk, a fraud alert text came through that a credit report had been requested. The only seemingly misleading thing is the credit report on the LifeLock app. There was a difference of about 50 points between the numbers that LifeLock reports and the report provided when I recently applied for and received the auto loan. Both excellent scores but a sizable difference nonetheless. Thanks LifeLock for all you do to keep us protected.

LifeLock keeps track of my money. I am grateful to LifeLock for sending me a warning that a suspicious online bank account was being opened in my name. It was my first warning that my ID was being stolen and one of my bank accounts was being drained and poured into an online one. I had LifeLock as an add-on to my Verizon account and never really paid attention to it until that first warning. The only account I set it up with was the one that was not hacked. That transfer was stopped, thanks to LifeLock, but the other, unprotected accounts were depleted or compromised. It was a messy few months of clean up. I appreciated the warning. Now I take LifeLock more seriously and set it up with all my accounts and check it every few days. It works, which allows me to relax. BTW, the person allegedly responsible for my data breach was identified and I was one of several victims. He had acquired more than $300K collectively from people on my street by stealing our mail right out of the boxes. This led to nine federal indictments in superior court. But no trial for now as his lawyer convinced the DA and judge that he is suddenly mentally incompetent. Defendants have lots of rights! Protect yours with this secure app.

LifeLock has saved my bacon more than once.... The first fraud alert I received from LifeLock was 2 days before leaving for an international trip. I had booked lodging on VRBO and assume that this was the weak spot (as it has now happened twice, both within a week of paying through the VRBO app). The customer service representative that coordinated the inquiry and cessation of activity was incredibly helpful and kind. She ensured the attempt was thwarted and we were able to take our vacation with peace of mind (I can only imagine how much damage would have been done if we only discovered the activity after our return). We have now included dark web monitoring and put the kids on as well. It only takes one time to make you realize just how valuable this service is.

Easy to use. I am a new Lifelock member, and so far so good. I joined after one of my credit cards was stolen mysteriously. Even though that card credited me for the false charges, I became concerned that another card might be compromised. Lifelock is giving me peace of mind, so as far as that goes, I'd give them a 10. But this score is more about the app than the service. I have found their app extremely easy to use and very thorough. To be effective I should never have to open it except to update a cc, and that is the case. I am emailed any alerts (as I was about the dark web) so I don't have to keep checking the app. Simple and to the point. I like that!

Sync up email & app. My husband and I love having LifeLock and the app is worth having. One issue with the app arose, however. LifeLock needs to sync up their email & app, and make sure they both indicate the same status. Here’s why: I received an email that my LifeLock payment didn’t process on my card, and would I please update my info. The problem with this is I always suspect fraud when I get an email asking for credit card info. There’s no way I’m clicking on a link in an email. To verify this request I went to my LL app, but there was no notification or alert that my card had an issue. In fact my payment showed as updated. It wasn’t until I called LL to tell them about the scam email that I learned the email was in fact legitimate. Their app didn’t reflect this. Other than that I do recommend the app for convenience & other valuable info they offer.

A MUST-HAVE SERVICE. As much as the ‘net has put the world at our fingertips, it’s also allowed those ill-willed black hats to sneak in and steal your identity - and money - before your next bank/credit card statement comes in the mail, sits on your desk for two weeks, then gets opened after you wonder why a check bounced or a collection notice came in today’s mail. I’m buried in email, snail mail, work, and just don’t get around to being as “on top of things” as I should be. This has been like my own private secretary who does that for my whole family for a few bucks a month. Considering how quickly a hacker can drain your accounts, the $25/mo I pay is worth it, and better yer, saved me from “the bad guys” twice. Losing your ID is just the beginning of months of phone calls, letters, and repeated explanations to banks, lenders, credit card companies, credit bureaus - I’ve seen friends who didn’t have a service like LifeLock go through that hell. I use LifeLock because they were the first credit monitoring company, and I’ve stuck with them. As long as they keep up watching my back for a very reasonable fee, I’ll stick with them. I recommend them highly.

Good app but sometimes overkill. My identity was stolen at least twice so I consider a service like LifeLock to be essential. They appear to be monitoring the right things. However, I have one big gripe. I hold numerous investment accounts at several brokers. I buy and sell stocks regularly. Even though the money does not leave the account (it is simply a buy or sell order for a particular security or securities) LifeLock insists on notifying me of the transaction. I have asked them several times not to notify me when the money stays in an account and to restrict the notice only if money enters or leaves an account. They have not responded. Thus, I end up getting dozens of what I consider to be meaningless alerts about transactions within an account

Not really interested in helping. I have been using LifeLock for a few years now. Other than taking my money for membership, I am not convinced that anyone is willing to help identify or prevent identity theft. I recently had an incident where I started to receive collection notices for an account that I had no knowledge of. When I call for help I am told to reach out to the institution that I feel is the culprit. Of course when You reach out to the suspicions institution, they want to gather your personal information. The whole process leaves you very exposed. If life lock tracks and identifies bad actors in the industry then they should step up to the plate and act on our behalf. Instead they ask you to be come the professional. This effectively throws you to the wolves. I am very unhappy that I’ve paid lifelock for their premium service for so long yet when needed, receive no help at all. If someone out there can recommend an alternative service. I would love to hear from you. Lifelock for me has been a waste of money.

Excellent UI, but not possible to login in Version 3.0. The application is beautifully designed, and virtually fun to use. I particularly like the ability to receive and respond to financial alerts immediately. Unfortunately, it is not possible to log into this latest version of the application If you have a very long user ID and password handled by a password manager: 1. Launch the app 2. Login screen appears 3. Switch to password app 4. Copy user ID 5. Switch to LifeLock 6. Paste user ID 7. Switch to password app 8. Copy password 9. Switch to LifeLock 10. The user ID has been cleared out! If you experience this problem, I’ve discovered a workaround: 1. Launch Safari on your phone 2. Visit the LifeLock member portal 3. Login 4. Safari will offer to save your login 5. Now launch the LifeLock app 6. Login screen appears 7. Touch the user ID field 8. iOS keyboard appears 9. Touch the padlock icon on keyboard 10. Select “LifeLock” from the list of saved login details. Update: Three phone calls and two emails later, I still have not been able to get through to anybody who is remotely connected with the iPhone app. The company is far too large and bureaucratic for its own good. Responses to email appear to be automated.

The peace of mind I was needing. My sensitive information was potentially put at risk and I was constantly worried about someone stealing it. I have enough stress in my life and hated worrying about the possibility of identity theft and what not. I saw a news article about the best programs/protection sites and found LifeLock to be at the top of the list on multiple articles. I finally downloaded the app and signed up for a membership. So glad I did. It’s the peace of mind I was looking for. The app is super easy to use and user friendly. Having that information at my fingertips is such a stress relief. Not one minute after signing up it sent me a notification that a game app I downloaded a while back sold my email on the dark web. I’m in the process of moving and getting ready to start a new job and the last thing I wanted was my information compromised. So happy with LifeLock. I will be a lifetime member for sure! Thanks for the extra security!!!

NO ALERTS!. I have been a LifeLock customer for years, paying hundreds of dollars for LifeLock’s “protection.” Unfortunately, the only alerts I seem to get are the ones notifying me that LifeLock is about to bill me. In the last year, I changed my address multiple times, got a cellphone plan, applied and obtained a new credit card, got a car loan, and took out a mortgage on a house. You would think these things would trigger an alert from LifeLock. However, I did not receive so much as a peep from LifeLock. When I called to discuss my dissatisfaction with LifeLock’s customer service, they bounced me around between four employees for over two hours. None of the employees seemed knowledgeable or competent, mostly tells me that companies need to opt-in to cooperating with LifeLock in order for LifeLock to monitor illegal activity. In closing, LifeLock provides a false sense of security. I was able to enter multiple contracts and pull hundreds of thousands of dollars in new lines of credit without LifeLock ever alerting me. Don’t throw away your money!

A good thing to have in today’s world.. I have been a long time member of LifeLock and in today’s cyber world would not dream of having some sort of monitoring on my financial affairs that is not governmental. There are two things though that I believe a person needs to be aware of that have occurred to me. One: the software that monitors bank/credit union activity has an issue with the two-step verification that most financial businesses use and cannot monitor for suspicious activity. Therefore, I don’t get the notifications that I used to when my accounts pay out over a specified amount. Second: they are correct when they say that no one can monitor all activity all the time. I have had three instances where it was my credit union that notified me of suspicious activity, or I found it myself on my statement (e.g. live in one state and activity is happening with your card across country). These are the reasons I did not give a higher score.

Extremely Happy!. I’ve been using LifeLock for 10+ years and have been extremely happy with this company!! I’ve even recommended these services to many others, and LifeLock now services them. Thanks for having such a service where we entrust our very personal information. The fact that they notify you of any items, that you use personal information for, like applying for a credit card. I applied for one recently and before I was approved by the credit card company, I was receiving a message from LifeLock, to verify that I did this. I’m not sure what can get by them? Thank you again, for all the services you provide, LifeLock!

Everything I NEED!. First noticed an ID theft via my bank. Immediately purchased LifeLock Ultimate Plus and they found 3 more thefts and 2 additional attempts, which LifeLock thwarted. All that in less than 2 months! Saved me literally tens-of-thousands (if not more) of $$$ and possibly 100 or more points on my credit scores. LifeLock walked me through the process and represented me over the phone to reach resolutions with the fraudulent accounts. They helped me with the FTC and Credit Bureaus and every other step of the way. I highly recommend LifeLock. In my experience, the annual membership is well worth the price; ten times over. Buy what you can afford. You won’t regret it!

Phenomenal App & Service. I’ve been a long time subscriber to LifeLock, and I give it the highest praise possible. They are on top of everything. If I write a check or use a credit card for an amount that exceeds their algorithm for my spending, I get an alert. First comes a text telling me to check the app. I then log into the app with my fingerprint, and there’s the transaction with a green and a red button. It couldn’t be simpler. I chose the “whole nine yards” option which is certainly more expensive than the “intro” price, and I haven’t regretted it for a minute. I try to be prudent with my personal info and online activity which, along with LifeLock, let’s me sleep at night. The app lets me check my credit history from all three service bureaus as well as my recent transactions all in one place. Simply put, I feel much more secure now with LifeLock than I ever did without it. For me, it is absolutely an essential component of my financial security. I have not been asked to write this review, and I’m not receiving any compensation for it. This truly is a great service. Try it, and you’ll see what I mean.

Credit report not absolutely accurate. This is a great way for most to semi monitor their credit because it’s better than nothing. Watch the dates of reporting. Mine said equifax was 690 and when I went for a loan it was actually 720 on equifax. Could have been the other way around! It had been less than a month behind on reporting and I changed nothing that should have made it better so I don’t exactly understand why it was so different. Thanks goodness it was better! Just don’t rely on this alone. Get a free credit report before you apply for anything special on credit like a home. This report could be off. Still love the app!

Many aspects are good, but not credit scores. I have been a Norton and LifeLock customer from well before they merged. I have found great value in many of the security aspects. My reason for the 3-star rating is because being able to see credit scores within the app is helpful as a snapshot, but not (in this case) if they’re not updated regularly. It has been over 13 months and I’ve had to sign up with those credit agencies (Transunion and Experian) to see accurate scores. I’m not expecting to get them refreshed every month, but if it can’t be done on an annual basis, why bother having them? I have emailed Customer Service and I’ve heard nothing back about why this is the case. At least I trust that my computer and identity are safe.

A must have. As a Federal employee who has to maintain a Top secret status, I have to carefully watch all my personal information, which proves difficult no matter how hard I try. LifeLock has been absolutely the best investment I’ve “EVER” made in order to protect my personal information. I’ve had LifeLock for a few years now, and I can say they have notified and fixed several suspicious activities one of which was a serious breach of my information. LifeLock worked hand in hand with me and fixed the serious breach without effecting my top secret clearance. I can’t express how important it is to get Lifelock, in this time and age of internet and breaches of everything that could expose your personal information.

LifeLock is the new MUST have!!!. My husband and I have had LifeLock for about 4 months now and absolutely love everything about it. They alert you immediately when activity has been made some where and if your identity has been added some place such as a new credit card or so on. It’s definitely worth the money and it’s cheap in my opinion since we are talking about keeping identities safe. I’m very thankful for the app as well because I can monitor it from anywhere at any time and make changes if needed. I highly recommend this to any that is looking for a great place to keep their identity safe or even anybody in general. This is a must have app and a must have investment!

Small price to pay for total peace of mind. I am so happy that Life Lock is around. I was affected by the Equifax breach and when we found out they were not doing anything about it we decided to sign up. My husband and I both are under the umbrella of protection. The app is simple to use and the service is very comprehensive. We signed up for the up to 1 million dollar protection which includes legal, monitoring and reimbursement. I really recommend the service. Here is a real life example of what could happen if you are not protected; a woman we know had her identity stolen and it took her 5 plus years and over $10,000 in legal fees to get her life back. It happened 10 years ago. Well, a few months ago, it happened again to her. You never know and it will ruin your life if your identity is stolen.

Bad support & Bad UX. Support is atrocious. I had a problem where my credit scores weren’t showing up in the app and they refused to do anything meaningful about it for weeks. They repeatedly told me my ticket was assigned to the responsible team but nothing progressed for weeks. Each call involved around 1+ hours of hold time, and included multiple ignorant support staff who could not figure out why my credit reports were available from every free online service but not from LifeLock (a paid service). At multiple points they asked me to call Equifax as if they would magically fix LifeLock’s broken tech. After I refused and I got a slightly less idiotic manager to agree to do something about it, they magically fixed the problem in 2 days. Oh also take out that ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS “we logged you out” notification. It makes me hate using the app literally every time. It needs to go burn in a fire. It is the single most useless and infuriating part of any app or feature on my phone.

I feel more secure. I signed up for the top LifeLock plan. The app works well. I didn't expect that I would have constant access to my credit scores, but I do and like that ability. I've never trusted the credit reporting agencies because they operate in the dark; their main focus is selling info about me; I have little say about what they do; and they're largely unregulated. I wish the federal government regulated them more tightly. It makes me feel better to believe that LifeLock monitors them daily and will let me know if something looks fishy. In addition to the shady credit reporting agencies, I'm now assuming that crooks have all the information they need about me to create fake me's and wreck my life financially. One of the main things I can do is monitor my financial world and react quickly. I'm hoping LifeLock proves to be my reliable monitor.

Worth Every Penny!. The LifeLock app is obviously an extension of LifeLocks service. LifeLock, as their name implies. Locks down your financial life, keeping their collective eyes and ears open in places where you wouldn’t dare walk alone at night (ha ha) to make sure the bad guys are not trying to sell your financial info to the highest bidder! You must not have trust issues when using Lifelock because in order for their service to work you must first trust them and give them everything that makes up your financial self. You can do this without hesitation because Lifelock is like your Mom when you were 15. They are on you like a hawk, watching everything you do financially and they are poised to pounce on a moments notice. LifeLock truly has your back......and front.....and your sides too!

Excellent heads up!. My wife and I have been members for 4 yrs now I think it’s been great to see things on the fly the fact I can monitor my credit score I of great value and when I purchase things it notifies me as well especially big purchases. For example how creditors falsely run you credit in different spellings of your name because you did not want to purchase from them after you filled the application out I got hit for the same item12 times after I said no on my credit report so my score dropped from 748 to 620 over night I was furious but thanks to look LifeLock they caught it and alerted me my credit got hit but it’s going back up quickly.

Almost a victim. I was notified by Lifelock that the password of one of my Bank accounts was locked. After going online, I found out that someone had hacked my account, and tried to electronically transfer some of the funds in the account. Although my bank had no answers to who tried to do the transfer or even how, Lifelock alerted me to the fraudulent transaction before it was completed. Before I signed up for Lifelock, I thought it was not needed and was ineffective. After the data breech of one of the biggest credit reporting companies, I signed up for Lifelock. This was the best decision I made to protect my credit. If you are like me in telling myself “it wont happen to me” dont be fooled. It can. Im not a rich man but do work hard for my money. Not for others to reap the rewards. Sign up for Lifelock.

Still some bugs. I’m thankful for LifeLock. I like the app for the most part, but when I get alerts from activity taking place and I click on the link provided, it takes me to the website through Safari, instead of linking up with the app I have on my phone. As soon as the website comes up, an ad to download the app appears. But I already have the app. ?? Another thing that is a little confusing is the alerts. The alert symbol in the app shows that I have 3 new alerts. There is a little red circle with a “3” inside. That means the alerts are new, but they are not new. Two are from last year and one is from 2017. I have opened the alerts and read them and yet they are still showing as new alerts. Other than those two things, I am enjoying using the app and feel like my information is safe with LifeLock. 😊

No support. There is no customer service, no support. I made a mistake by pushing no instead of yes and there was no way to reverse my input This triggered an investigation on a valid transaction . I called the 800 # for support and there were only several prompts to choose from no live person. I left a message and no one ever called back. I logged on to the website and asked for chat help —-no one available. I sent an email request and got no response . I have been paying for my membership for 5 years and this is the first time I’ve asked for help. I think LifeLock is a scam. If someone does steal my identity there is no one there to help me . It is not like their advertisements state about helping you immediately.i am going to ask for a refund they have collected 5 years of payments from me with no intention of helping me.

Just ok, certainly not worth the cost!. So my wife and I have used LifeLock for two years now and truth be told other than providing instant credit scores from all three reporting agencies it does nothing more that my bank or credit card companies do. For example Amex sends me immediate notifications every time a charge occurs. My bank is SunTrust and I recently had odd charges which my bank noticed did not fit my purchasing pattern so the fraud department immediately contacted me to inquire about it. LifeLock never caught it. LifeLock is kind of like that commercial where the bank is being robbed and the security guard says there’s a robbery happening- they tell you but they don’t protect you and it’s after the fact. Certainly not worth the money and has no value that my credit card companies and banks don’t already offer. Just my experience can’t speak for others.

Great protection!. My husband and I are enrolled in LifeLock for personal and business. We couldn’t be more pleased. Well on vacation in Hawaii, LifeLock notified us of a large purchase from a company we didn’t recognize using our personal bank debit card. As it was a Sunday I didn’t even trust calling the 800 number provided by the bank because I wasn’t sure it was legitimate, and I couldn’t call my bank at home to talk to someone that I knew. LifeLock helped me in a very timely fashion. They immediately notify me with a text of questionable activity on any of our accounts. If one of us initiated the activity, I answer yet us, and if not I answered no and contact them for their help.

Excellent support and peace of mind. Have had Life Lock for almost 2 years and can’t express how happy I am with their services. I get notifications every time someone does a credit check on me and this usually leads to someone opening a new account or making a major purchase and if I did not make a purchase or opened a new account I can call and cancel it before they even bill me for it. I have a friend who’s identity was stolen several years ago and someone purchased a new vehicle and had it shipped outside the U.S. and it was a nightmare for him. He had to hire an attorney to clear his name and is still dealing with this. Peace of mind is priceless!!

App design is very poor , has no artificial intelligence. 1 The mobile app doesn’t even provide the credit scores in an intuitive way. The sections are very poorly designed and difficulty to navigate ( eg there is a whole section on how your credit scores are calculated , but the actual credit score is missing ! Lolz 2 the app has absolutely zero artificial intelligence . All banks have better ability to customize alerts these days but LifeLock will bother you with twenty phone calls over the month with alerts of stupid stuff (of course it depends on the limits you have set , but there should be a way to say that the regular payments like mortgages etc which go every month and are above $1000 are not a matter of “ alert” but lifelock has an automated system which will keep calling in an irritatingly serious tone “ this is not a sale call , we have monitored an activity on your account “ what the heck !! In this age of artificial intelligence learn to differentiate between pre set financial activity and the fraudulent activity !!! Common guys , go get yourself a better IT vendor to work with

Worth it!. I found out in credit Karma I had an eviction on my credit since 2017 I dispute it and provide proof that it was the wrong person, I got it clear out it did affect my credits but after that happend it really took my sleep away I couldn't stop thinking how someone can just screw up your credit your life in a blink. I decide to get LifeLock and never been happier they monitor all your moves in case something add shows they contact you right away! Love it😎I use to watch city confidential and in some episodes de show how people got their life trashed out and even end up in jail by someone having their personal info. Don't think about it twice is worth it it really takes a weight off your shoulder let's the professionals take care of you 👍

Total ripoff. I redime miles from my frequent flyer to get an app that is totally crippled and extremely limited. This app is designed only to force you to “update” to the most common and free options found in other apps that do exactly the same for free. This app only gives you 6 months of crippled functions. This app only wants you money. If a 6 months are offer by redime your friquen miles from an airline you should have access to all features and after the 6 month period is over we the end users should have the option to upgrade to a full year if we want to. Why would you take my mikes and never pretend to give me full access to all the features that I have to pay ? You all ready have my miles. Total rip off. Download other app that will give you full access to all features with a 6 month and if you like it then pay in full. Looks elsewhere do not use this app. UPDATE. If you want to monitor your emails on the dark web you have to enter all your email that you have and I have been receiving emails from this app 3 o 4 every day to each email that I have input (spams) asking me to upgrade this app from the 6 months to a full blown app this spam email are too much. I have unsubscribe but I still have spams every day. Stay away !!!

So far good. My personal information was email without being encrypted from a bank that I just opened an account in. I immediately panicked and called the bank. My biggest fear was realized the very next week when I got an email. This email from UPS was for a package that was rerouted without my knowledge or purchase and it was a cell phone. The thieves used my identity to open a new cell phone account and I luckily figured it out before the transaction was completed. Once that situation was closed I immediately reached out to Lifelock and enrolled in their best plan. The very next day I got a text from LifeLock asking if I requested yet another cell phone account. Obviously I did not so I reported that and LifeLock took care of it. No joke a day later I got another text warning to confirm if I request a line of credit. I also disputed that after receiving a text from LifeLock. So far LifeLock has been a huge help. I’m not even a member for 2 weeks so it’s still early to tell how valuable this service is. I can tell you so far, I am extremely satisfied and would refer even my grandparents for this service. Thanks

Happy. I had a credit monitoring membership that I used for years! At the time, I felt it was all I needed. I was notified if there was a change in my credit. Then my friend lost her driver's license and she didn't think nothing about it. About 6 months later, she found out someone used her license to open up a checking account and wrote bad checks. It was a horror for her. Seeing what that put her through I decided to see what protective services I was paying for. Well come to find out, I was paying for just credit monitoring. So when I told them I wanted extra monitoring, the price doubled! I looked into Life lock and with more protection, their prices were cheaper! I feel better knowing I was getting more protection. The app is easy to use.

On top of your accounts. So far I’ve been very impressed with LifeLock. After being a two time victims of credit card fraud I joined life lock. Anytime your credit is run to open an account, LifeLock Springs into action. I recently moved back to my home and when I bought a chair and filled out a credit application, LifeLock notified me that my credit had been run for an account, in under 5 minutes. I also had cable TV/internet installed at my home and the again contacted me in less than 5 minutes to see if it was really me making these transactions. I only wish I had joined long ago when I saw the tv ads, but I was one of those, (this will never happen to me), type of people. Tank you LifeLock, you are the real deal!!!

Life lock. Very good at keeping me informed regarding not only my personal credit information but about credit information in general. I feel much more confident that if my personal information is attacked by someone that life lock will catch the action taking place and notify me of appropriate steps that is required to protect my credit and personal identification. For the price I think I'm more than getting my monies worth. I'm pleased that I made the decision to accept life lock into my life as a protective source in this new scary world of personal identification theft. Don't be foolish and think you can protect yourself from identity theft! You can't, so get help. I personally recommend life lock for that help!

Needed for security these days. With all of the data breaches and increase of credit card frauds, having LifeLock keeping all of my critical information safe is one less thing to worry about. Never worrying about what my credit score is, knowing as a female, where registered sex offenders live, it takes all of that off my chest. With all the things that will keep me up at night, having LifeLock and having the LifeLock app, is one less thing to keep me up at night. I wish the app was made for the iPad as well. I use the app most on my iPad because I’m weird and don’t want it on my phone, much like my banking app. My iPad never leaves my home. It’d also be great to have the option for multi factor security system.

Problems need to be resolved ASAP. Update: There is still no option to archive alerts. I currently have 8 alerts from 2019 that cannot be archived. It’s not an option. The app states that if I recognize the activity, I don’t need to do anything. Well, how about allowing the user to clear these alerts. Every time I open the app, I see that I have alerts to view, I check and they are still her old ones. As of late, this app has been problematic. I have 8 alert messages from 2 years ago that will not archive nor will not clear. They are presumably permanent. I requested help from Lifelock to remove these old alerts and yet, 2 years later, they are still showing. The app will not archive them. It does not give me to option to do so. Newest issue arose this week. I received a credit check alert (good). I confirmed it was me as I am have a refinancing done on my mortgage. The alert cleared. All should be ok. Instead of being ok, I received 6 alert yesterday and more today. When I go in and check, there is no new alert. The only alerts are the ones from 2 years ago. I’m currently at the point to where I am going to disable the notification function for the app. All I am getting is false alarms. This situation makes the app useless for notifications. Until LifeLock resolves the inability to archive old alerts and stops the false alerts, I rate this as a 1 star.

This app is a MUST HAVE FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS! It gives me a sense of security!!!. I was hesitant at first to get lifelock. I was thinking yet another company with my personal information. But, I said what the heck it can’t hurt. I’m so happy with my decision to get Lifelock for both myself and my teenage son! Nowadays, teens and children do so much online and with these video games; no matter what we as parents tell them they think they know best lol. Children may put their personal information out there not knowing they are letting strangers into their lives! Lifelock is like the protective cover over our children’s information when we can’t be. I plan to be a Lifelock member for life! Thanks Lifelock!

Fabulous App. This app gives you great flexibility to control what to monitor and/or how much per transaction from where to get notified. But like the keys to your house, you have to be mind-full to lock the doors and windows. So with this app, you must keep your information updated otherwise you’ve lost your protection. I only gave it 4 Stars because with an address change alert ... it asks you if you recognize this address change alert, but has NO way to acknowledge a YES or NO. Also, there are alerts from 2017 and 2018 that keep showing with no way to acknowledge with a yes!!!!! Very annoying! At least make it so they can be archived after a read acknowledgment. Life Lock is awesome and the app only has that single silly operational missing flaw missing.

Bad app…add Norton terrible. I’ve had Lifelock must be over ten years maybe longer…Service has done well for me until Norton which I also have for even longer merged with them…it’s been a huge hassle especially renewal…I still cannot get it right with both…Charges are confusing and probably costing me way more…Wife also has Lifelock and instead of offering family costs literally another 3 or 4 hundred dollars a year….Not the best business model Provide an honest decent service and customers will flock to you…(my advice/opinion) Probably time to change both Norton AND Lifelock…Plus the App is horrible a real pain to work with….tired of yelling at my phone

excellent protection for our virtual world. Using LifeLock allows us to make purchases and transfer funds secure in the knowledge that our activities are viewed by security specialists in real time... with all the on line time everyone is involved in, you really need “extra eyes” watching out for you. It’s truly proactive protection, believe me, you want the query “is this you” at that moment... not a statement in the mail, weeks later showing you purchases you know nothing about. Rest assured, sleep soundly with them watching your assets.

LifeLock is there when I was lost!. My wallet was stolen and within 24 hours the credit card applications and cell phone accounts were out of control. The reps at LifeLock ensured my identity was safe. They did conference calls with each bank, cell phone and car dealer. Sometimes we were doing 4 or more at a time. They took the time and explained each step of the way. Thank you for the peace of mind and protection. I would not have known where to start as it was happening so fast. You are the best! James Cutting

Incompetent. It amazes me how you can spend over $300 on the product and they still don’t get it right. After I have spent several hours trying to reconnect my financial account, my bank account and my credit card account; LifeLock tells me it’s a problem with the account providers security. well, I knew I was getting punted back to them and of course no one takes responsibility at LifeLock. I’m ready to cancel my over $300 subscription now! I just called the app service and they hung up on me so I don’t understand this service? All I want is for them to reconnect my credit card account , my financial account and my bank account simple. since they did this recent update”so they say” , I can’t do it , it won’t let me !!! lotta money spent here, so I will wait for the work order and see if they contact me in a day or 2. If not I’ll cancel.

Life saver. A few years back I was a victim of identity theft and had a fraudulent loan taken in my name. I tried to fight it on my own, and had little luck. I signed up for life lock and although they did not have to help me with my problem prior to using their service, they made a few calls and helped me get my credit rating back. I rest easier at night knowing that this App is on my phone and will alert me whenever anyone sniffs in my credits direction. We all work hard to build our credit, LifeLock works hard to keep it that way.

Got My 6. I have been with LL since it’s conception. I saw it advertised on TV on the side of a big panel truck. I decided to give it a try & very pleased since. The one thing I would like to see return is the personal notification we would receive. Other than that LL exceeds my security requirements & they are on top of breeches , unauthorized accounts being opened & much more. They saved me big time when some schemers in communist Vietnam tried to gain control of my bank account. LL slammed the door on those lowlife’s once they verified it wasn’t me. Can’t say enough great things about LL the list is infinite .

LifeLock saved my life!. My car was broken into recently and the items stolen included my credit cards, social security card, and my checking/routing information, my drivers license among other important items. A family member informed me about LifeLock immediately after. LifeLock alerted me letting me know that my social security number had been run at an attempt to make a purchase on the dark web. I also was alerted that a credit card application had been run under my name and social. I love this service! 10/10 would recommend!

Good all-in-one solution to ID theft. Good integration with Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. Extensive monitoring capabilities. But, of course, it’s not all about the app. We purchased LifeLock “Ultimate”(?) subscriptions for both myself and my wife, and it ain’t cheap by any measure. Yes, it does provide a high level of peace of mind but I really can’t say that I think it’s worth quite as much per year as it costs. Having been in the IT industry for 30+ years, I’m very security conscious to begin with. I do admit, though, that having a great deal of protection in one service is worth a lot. We just think it could be done for less, particularly if you’re using multiple Symantec subscription products.

So Far...I love the Protection!!. I recently started investing in the #AcornsApp and had to put some personal information out there in the web. It made me worry about my identity being protected. While researching the Acorns App I saw that LifeLock would invest $30 if I signed up for it. So, here I am. I’ve known about LifeLock for some time now, but didn’t think I needed to waste for money. Well, after just 2 days of having it, I already received a notification! I will definitely be upgrading to the Premium package soon as well because I do love the comfort in knowing my identity is secured!

Better Than Other’s. When the company I worked for had a rep come to a meeting and sell us on among other things switching to their credit monitoring as a bundle, I was like ok let’s try. We were life lock members at that time and I cancelled my subscription. BIG MISTAKE! The new company did save us 50% per month in cost but I wondered at times if we were even still enrolled because after 6 months I never received any alerts. As a matter of fact my wife and I even refinanced our house and this new company didn’t even inform us of a credit check until about 3 months later. I’m happy to say we are back with LifeLock and in the first few days we received notices as we knew we would. If you want identity protection and your thinking maybe I can save a few bucks with the other company, DON’T. Get LifeLock. You know the old saying.....”You get what you pay for”. Thanks LifeLock Glad to be back! Kendall & Michele

I’m a believer .... We decided to get Lifelock after someone in my husbands firm fell for a phishing scam and transferred personal employee information on the web. However, most recently Lifelock stopped a fraudulent credit card transaction that the credit card company had not even picked up. The Lifelock service has paid for itself already. I would agree with the other reviewer in that I wish they would give a discount to husband and wife teams, instead of charging as separate entities. But a worthwhile service nevertheless.

Alerts but no details. I get alerts of credit inquiries, but there are no details. The app give me the message, “We’re Sorry. We’re having trouble loading this right now. Please try again later.” When you try again a few days later, same message. I have notified LifeLock numerous times, but they have failed to ever call me back. I have an open ticket now that is over 9 months old, yet no one has ever called me back. I give it one star because at least I get an alert that their was a credit inquiry. Unfortunately, even if you call Life Lock, they cannot tell you who made the inquiry, so you cannot verify anything about it or confirm that it was you. I keep the service because it provides insurance for identity theft, but that’s about it. As soon as the subscription expires, I will try another app.

Lost my wallet. When I lost my wallet a few years ago, I called that evening after an exhaustive search. The gentlemen that assisted me stayed on the phone for hours. He lined up all my credit card and bank card accounts based on what information I gave him. Then he started placing calls to each company, advised me as to what I should say, and connected me to the company. Then he would get back on the line to advise for the next call, etc. He managed these calls for HOURS. You cannot put a value on that type of service! I have recommended LL to my family members.

Great job!!!. Over 24 hours I received numerous alerts from LifeLock regarding unapproved request for opening accounts. I was able to respond immediately, and Lifelock froze and/or alerted all of these institutions regarding a fraud alert. Then they assisted me to call various institutes and credit bureaus to file an alert and stop these applications and freeze my accounts. Jean was my agent and did an excellent job. She was very thorough, patient, and compassionate. It is a very stressful times. Lifelock has reviewed and guided me measures to take to protect my identity going forward.I am so glad that I signed up for LifeLock. I would urge anyone to do so. It is worth it’s weight in gold.

Lifelock stopped a fraudulent credit card. I have had LifeLock for several years, and now have it as a benefit from my employer. I like having the app so I can get a notification of any potential problem activity. Last year I received an alert about a new credit card being opened in my name. I was able to immediately get it stopped before it was ever activated. The LifeLock rep made it easier than expected to get everything resolved. Using the app is easy and takes only a few moments to acknowledge the alerts.

Alerts. See it’s becoming a member, two times I have received an alert from LifeLock First time was when I open a new account it immediately alerted me the second I applied. Second was notified immediately that a bill was sent to a collection agency. When I checked with this company they stated it had just been sent to the collection agency. It was about the same time LifeLock notified me. I paid this bill in March 20 of 18i am sending them proof So once again this was an immediate notification from LifeLock

Almost five star. Life Lock seems to be doing what they say they would do. Notifications were a bit slow on the first day but caught up by the second day of being a member. I will give a five star rating when the one problem gets fixed! I’ve only been a member for a few days so far and still learning everything about using the app. I’ve contacted LifeLock twice on this issue and it still isn’t fixed. Signed up for the premium plus package have done the second step several times and the app still won’t let me activate it, it’s becoming very frustrating but every thing else seems to working.

More recent data doesn’t seem to be on there. Only 2017. I would like to be able to get updated info, seems like only 2017 inquiries are on there. I like the info, but they’re not doing anything about stuff they find that isn’t mine, they give me the data, and sometimes no phone number to the company that gave a loan in my name! The UI is easy enough to use to put freezes on your credits rating accounts. But, anymore than that is basically what’s missing. They hand you that data and wash their hands of it. I thought they handled that kind of stuff - so just be prepared.

My thoughts about LifeLock. Yes I have had LifeLock for several years now and I can’t afford to be without their service. They have stopped several credit card applications, loan applications. They are with you all the way from first notification to talking to the credit card company about the fraudulent card applications. If anything or anybody puts something in your reports they are on top of it letting you know and asking you if it was you who did lt. If you have ever been hacked get LifeLock they are the best.

Who is protecting my assets??. I had problems with my cards and bank account all week.. I received an alert from Life Lock that I didn’t understand. I called LifeLock and was connected to a person who mumbled and told me that Life Lock did not send those any alerts. I told him about the suspicious activity I had all week and he told me LifeLock only monitored. I requested a manager.. he wouldn’t connect me to one. I was actually starting to believe that The Life Lock call had been intercepted by a fraudulent company. I hung up and redialed a different LifeLick number. the same person answered. As it turned out, the alerts were legitimate but I never resolved the issue of my cards and bank account ‘s possible fraudulent activity. Not sure what I am paying for!

I now realize lifelock is a joke of a service. I’ve been paying LL for “ultimate” coverage for my wife and me for more than 5 years. I thought the service worked well all this time, but I just learned the hard way that the service simply does not work. Our primary bank accounts were hacked into a week ago. In addition, and as a result, a previous and new credit card received inappropriate charges. The bank notified us promptly both times. Despite a disastrous hack and intrusion into our personal financial matters (accts listed on our LL account), LifeLock did not catch ANYTHING at all. I tried explaining it to their customer service dept, but that was a waste of time. It is so disappointing to think I was protected for all these years, only to learn I was simply giving them money for nothing.

Piece of mind. Been getting allot of spam phone calls, one day got a call from a guy pretending to be one of my credit card companies, he knew the last four of my SSN and last four of my credit card, asked me to verify my information for “security purposes “, information my real card company should already know. I hung up and contacted my Visa card, they knew nothing of the call said they never called. Canceled that particular card, ordered a replacement and got “life lock”. May never happen again, but I feel much safer just in case “they” try something else.

Less capabilities than accessing LifeLock via your web browser. As a long time subscriber of LifeLock’s services, I am pleased, overall. However, whenever I tried to update my account, change pin, password or payment method while using the mobile app I run into difficulties. Then, when I call in for assistance, I’m told to access LifeLock through my web browser instead of the mobile app. It works! However, if that’s the case, what’s the point of a mobile app? To be fair, LifeLock is not the only business with this problem but that doesn’t make it any better.

Lots of hype and feature bloat. The only value Lifelock has for me is access to credit reporting. You do get one free credit report from the big 3 each year, but the process of getting them is so fraught with complications that they are a bar to access. In the early years of Lifelock, they had a very valuable service where every 90 days they would renew a freeze on your reports and if any vendor needed to access your account they would have to call you first. The credit bureaus hated this, and eventually Lifelock rolled over and cancelled the service. Now there was a a bloat of features that are basically worthless and in some cases actually inferior to those free accounts you get when a large company has a computer breech. I got reports of dark web activity from them that I never got from Lifelock.

Great service , crucial to have !. This is an absolute must have service , within 24 hours of signing up I was alerted of 4 times where my information had been exposed within the past decade from various online data breaches , none were of critical importance but it goes to show how through they are and how deeply they are able to check . Lastly , it’s a great peace of mind to know that should my personal information , anything from my email address to bank routing numbers be exposed , to know that I will be promptly alerted and be able to address it as quickly as possible . Thank you LifeLock .

This App is on Pointe!. I feel so much better now about my online identity and my credit screening. I have been able to shop, research and apply for loans online knowing that LifeLock has my back. •They call you if there’s anything “new” to your identity or credit cards and bank. •They provide details of the possible breach via their app. •You get to document whether or not you have made any changes to an account or applied for a new account. •If you answer yes, they process it for the vendors. If you say no, they put a hold on the vendor trying to make a false representation of you.

Yes, Lifelock is worth the money. There are now several different companies that offer identity protection. It’s great that Lifelock paved the way. LLock is the gold standard in this area of fraud protection, identity theft, credit monitoring and more. Whenever even a remote hint of a small possibility exists, I am alerted with a short message. They are completely on top of it. I renew for each of us every year with no hesitation. I also know without a doubt that if some unknown awful theft happened to me my “insurance” with LLock would reimburse me quickly. Do it. I feel so very safe.

Alert. I receive an alert disrupt it and then hear nothing back on the resolution. For all I k ow nothing happened. My credit score jabs gone down since the monitor. And my reports say I have multiple deliquinent accounts. Which I do not. So I would expect u should go over my credit reports and send me a report. Cause I’m paying for nothing at the moment not impressed. U should contact my credits report and inform them of the breach. Not me. I ha e no evidence. U have credibility and the means to research who is doing this alert. But there is none of that. I am to call them. I paynu Ti take care of that. I don’t jane time to spend on the phone with people who can do noting.

Alerts are dependable but credit account information Months behind. I have appreciated the alerts when a new account is opened or some information on my accounts are flagged. I would give life lock a grade of A in that regard. However, the information regarding each credit account with updated credit scores is at least five to six months behind. Unlike other services, there is no user friendly way to seek an update from the app. I must use another service to have a correct credit score with a more updated listing of all my accounts. I give LifeLock an F grade with respect to current account information and credit scores.

Trump-rube. Great app. Alerts me on any transactions on all my credit cards, joint/personal bank accounts, etc. it works exactly as advertised except some times I get notified almost 24 hours later of a transaction but it maybe an issue with the bank I have an account where it may not update my account until the following day. I still pay attention to what I do BUT I have more confidence knowing I have Life-Lock monitoring everything 24 hours a days, 7 days a week,365 days a year!!

Great only 1 annoying thing about it. The app is great, there is only 1 thing I can’t stand about it. It will keep giving me a notification, but there is nothing new on my notifications section other than a Red banner at the top trying to get me to sign up for norton 360. That’s not a notification I care to keep getting, wish there was a way to x it out and stop getting a fake notification. I already saw your ad for that service and don’t want it, just make a section in the app I can go to if I want to add it, but don’t keep popping it as a notification. Everything else about the app is easy to grasp and use. Hopefully you can fix this.

Awesome and Supportive. LifeLock is amazing. I’ve been a member for about 8 months now. I have to say, they have been on my side from the minute I signed up. You can link your bank accounts to the App/Online, get alerts for purchase, you also get credit change alerts, and many more alerts. I had a stranger open a debit card in my name, I didn’t have to do a single thing but call LifeLock. They made all the calls, and done all the work! I also had about $300 taken out of my bank account, which I didn’t take out, but I had LifeLock. I got all my money back thru LifeLock! So great to have, and glad to help them.

Finger print Fail. App works great, once you get into it. Start the app and have to click on the password box to start. Password option comes up in iPad, so touch that. Passwords come up, but it doesn’t know which one. Scroll down to LifeLock and select it. Click login. Up comes a dialogue telling me I can use Touch ID. Button is already turned on, but obviously it doesn’t work. Turn it off and on again, then click ok. Makes no difference, it will be the same next time. After using the app, I now have to search for the logout. Have to select Menu, then scroll down before you can see the logout option.

Peace of Mind!. I’ve had LifeLock for over 7years. It’s an added security, knowing there’s a company looking out for my best interest. As the app goes, its great, smooth, & no complaints. In daily life: If any actions have occurred or my identity has been used, the app sends an alert. The alerts are so quick to respond! I’m so happy I made the decision, in my twenties, to get LifeLock. Now I can rest easy, having the peace of mind, knowing my kids, husband & our lives, our identity & futures are being protected. When we buy gas, grocery store, online purchases and or any transaction we make, it’s being protected. Peace of Mind, Love-it!

Good App But Expensive. I have to pay double for me and wife. I also have Norton Security Deluxe. Total cost: $700. I can save $100 at renewal if I get a Norton plus LifeLock Ultra subscription for each. A$100 saving isn’t that much, since there is much credit information overlap for me and my wife. Plus you have to enter all information for both, again, since file integration hasn’t taken place. I wish there were more more saving synergies, perhaps a Family plan. What do you think, Symantec? Worth considering? Would love some feedback on this.

Scammed. I got this recently because I’ve been getting hacked lately and when I enter the app I had to make an account which included sensitive information including my social security number. I figured that it was safe. So after that I had to select my subscription pack and I did that and I had to enter in my card information. I was charged on my bank account ,yet I never received an email from them and I tried logging into my account through the app and it said My password was incorrect. I ended up jumping through hoops just to get an actual account through Norton and I go into Norton and I see I don’t have any subscriptions (!?) even thought I was billed ??? I have tried resetting my password multiple times but I NEVER receive an email !!

Peace of mind.... I watched the commercials multiple times and thought wow, what a great deal. Did I try it? No, I just kept on watching. Then one day, I got scammed. I immediately called Lifelock , explained my situation and enrolled. I was frantic but the agent was patient and calm. He gave me valuable information to get started and to stay safe. I receive a text and an email any time there is a question regarding my accounts. If I have to call them, the agents are welcoming and professional. With Lifelock and Norton, I feel like I’m being well taken care of. I finally have peace of mind.

LifeLock App. Very good app meets all my financial concerns. Two issues I’m having is an alert from September 2018 that will not clear. Every time I login it’s still there like a new alert. It stated if it wasn’t a concern to me to ignore it, but it will not clear like all the others do so it’s kind of misleading every time I login in. Second is it keeps saying to login to connect my bank accounts for the monitoring. I have login repeatedly, but it still keeps saying to login so they can monitor my accounts. Am I doing something wrong or not doing something at all? Please advise. Thank you, V/r, Jeff

It works!!. I can rest much easier knowing lifelock has my back. It it working? Absolutely. In the last year I opened 3 different type loans. Each one had to do the standard credit checks. Within hours I had a alert on my app making sure it was me opening accounts or loans. Simply review the alert and confirm or deny it was you and your covered. It even alerted me when I ordered satellite internet and they had to do a credit check to open my account. You get the alert, log into LifeLock, click yes or no, your done. Love it!!

Great with a few exceptions. This app is very reliable and accurate. My only complaints are that the alerts can be slow to open, there’s sometimes a several day delay in a transaction alert being reported, and any info coming from an investment account has completely insufficient information. For example, if you sell a stock, the description may be only “shs inc” or “hldgs inc” like it is truncating the whole first part of the name. It’s great to instantly get your current credit score though, and the dark web monitoring feature is a must. I recommend this app.

So Worth it!!!. I've seen what happens when your identity is stolen. Getting it fixed is a long tedious, possibility very expensive process. Not to mention what was stolen. With LifeLock you are alerted as soon as your information is used, giving you an opportunity to stop it. My Credit Union changed a policy and needed to "run" my SSN after years of me having the account. Within minutes I was calling them asking what they were doing. They were so amazed that I even knew and contacted them so quickly, they signed up for LifeLock too!

My family and I trust LifeLock. So I had my entire family covered with LifeLock several years ago when we had a couple of issues with identity theft. Sad to say I dropped the coverage after a couple of years. Now my employer offers LifeLock as a benefit for a small fee and I forgot how amazing LifeLock is. I have been extremely pleased with the service and would recommend it to everyone. There is so much information used on the web now a days that you would be crazy not to use LifeLock. Thanks LifeLock, super happy customer. R. Betts

Can’t use and they won’t refund. I downloaded and paid for in the morning came home from work and I had no access to my account.I call and was shuffled around out of the country... couldn’t understand why they couldn’t help me finally I asked for someone in the states. I was told by the supervisor all calls are directed to outside the US . But would transfer me to someone in the states. 25mins later I talk to wonderful person but guess what. They will not refund my money for an account I’m still not able to access. So I’m out money for a product I never used I can see now why they have dropped in ratings. I’m going to identify guard they are ranked #1 and a little cheaper. LifeLock let me down before I could even use it and it cost me money to figure this out.

Life lock is a must have in today’s world. Me and my wife enrolled in LifeLock about a year ago and we love it. The app takes a little while to navigate to find all the features.. but once you get used to it it’s pretty intuitive. Today I opened a credit card and within minutes my phone was buzzing through text messages from the app and I even received a phone call to ensure that it was me that made the transaction!! I was very impressed with the the response time and thoroughness of this product and I recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their identity or financial assets.

Worthless waste of money. Probably the worst service ever created. Has done absolutely nothing for monitoring my personal info. My accounts have been used 2 times and they didn’t catch it. I DID! So that is for absolutely nothing life lock. Again, complete waste of money you’d be better off choosing somewhere else or monitoring it yourself. Also if you need assistance you have to call or setup at time to talk to someone, but if course when it come to taking money from you it’s instant and no issues for them. Use credit karma it’s way more user friendly, so have fun with the over $200 you took that was literally for nothing. Thanks LifeLock you’re the absolute worst. I should have looked at more reviews before using their service. If you go through the reviews a lot of people will say the same thing. DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICES!

LifeLock services review. I was reluctant to sign up for the LifeLock services because I was using Experian previously and that was only their credit score and LifeLock includes all three credit reporting services. With all three credit scores shown at the same time any significant difference of the three credit scores would be flagged After I reviewed the information LifeLock sent me and LifeLock provides a comprehensive status of all aspects of my financial activities and private information (Banking, consumer credit card including identity theft Cyber and Dark Web) activity. I appreciate the services that LifeLock continues to provide for over two years !!

Saved within minutes of identity theft!. A few months ago, someone opened a new credit card using my name. Within 3 minutes of this card being issued, Lifelock sent me a notification of activity. I got it closed in less than one hour! He wasn’t even able to use the card. They did mail the cards because I received a new one that even showed both his and my name ~ but they weren’t valid. Disappointed that I couldn’t go after this Scott Windsor but at least he didn’t succeed in using me this time. Thank you Lifelock 💕

Clean intuitive app. The interface and usability of the LifeLock App is very well done and makes sense. The menus and screens are well laid out with a relevant logical order and sequence. The transitions between screens, menus and additional support pages works well with iOS 13.2.1 and I had no glitches or orphan issues. To get a five star rating would mean to embed all pages that take you to the WWW within the app itself to enhance that secure feeling being behind the protection of fire walled secured servers that you would expect from a company founded on securing personal credit information but that would make the app clunky and much larger. Overall four stars is excellent and the app is very well done, good job!

LifeLock is worry free. The reason I enrolled with LifeLock they keep up and alert me if someone runs a credit report with my SS number and they monitor my credit and debit cards. In can tell you personally if you want to buy something that requires a credit report LifeLock will know. I recently brought a new truck, the very minute a credit report was run I knew it right away they contacted me asking as it me if I the person making a purchase!! I will always keep my LifeLock they care to much for me to let it go, they are the best out there. Thank you, Mark
