LOVE it!. I adore this app! I can’t keep real koi, and this is such a neat substitute. I think this little game is wonderful. I’d only add the option to keep playing my own music alongside the sounds of the app. Even without that, it great! 😍

My favorite app!. This app has quickly become one of my all-time favorites! The fish are beautiful and mesmerizing to watch, and I love the ambient sounds of the rainfall, frogs, insects, and birds. The ripples of the water, the shadows of the fish and plants, the occasional passing butterfly, and the distant thunder and lightning are perfect. It’s obvious to me that the developer is an avid observer of nature and aquatic life. I love the options for controlling the time of day, which directly correspond to the ambient background sounds. The underwater viewing feature is nice for when you prefer a more constant sound, rather than the changing noises of the birds and such. This such a remarkably well-designed app, not only in the graceful and realistic movements of the fish, but also the soothing aspects. It is so thoughtful of the developer to include an ambient background function, because the app is very pleasant to use during naps or when I’m going to bed. In this way, the lights are dimmed and the power usage is decreased to enable less battery utilization. I mostly use the app on my iPad rather than my iPhone, because I enjoy the larger viewing screen. I actually bought a better easel stand for my iPad than what I already had, just so I could better enjoy this app. If you’re going to buy only one app for relaxation and/or meditation purposes, I highly recommend this one ❤️

Love it. Wasn’t quite what I was expecting hence the 4 star not the 5 star, but don’t let that one star less or a price tag push you away. Features are a bit lacking in some ways (frankly not sure what I would add), but in other ways the devs went above and beyond. They didn’t need to add the “sound only” mode (sorry forgot it’s actual name), and the detail they put into the graphics, wow stunning. The fish are beautiful, the little customizations you can do to your pond really make it feel like your own, the way the water looks in unreal, especially for a phone. However if you are looking for a more traditional game this is not that, it is much more of a zen garden type thing. A few minutes of playing, with a couple of hours of listening. Also in a game like this, having a paywall was very smart. No one wants to be interrupted by an ad when they are taking care of their Koi. And as far as Freemium goes, this game would be awful if you had to pay for more Koi slots. Any way good game if you are looking for a relaxation type deal not worth it if you want a busywork gameplay type deal.

My koi. This game is so realistic the koi come in so many different verieteys. I love playing this game and me being a fish lover this game is the best fish game I have played. Keep up the good work on the game but please make more koi spots so that we can have more koi and make it so that you can have a second pond

Constantly freezing. This game is constantly freezing and lagging. I can’t even get a pond going. It froze when I added my first fish...right after freezing and restarting during the fish creation process. Having to restart twice within 3 minutes is unacceptable. The description says the iPad Air is compatible but it’s not. Runs terribly. Please fix or give me a refund. Very disappointed.

Simple and Elegant. This game is simple and elegant in that it provides exactly what it promises. This is a straightforward koi pond simulation that rewards you for feeding your fish. You watch them grow and earn new breeds through diligence in your feeding. The graphics look nice and the overall mood is very relaxing. This game takes me to my "happy place" and helps me unwind when I get stressed. Very well put together :)

best koi game on the market. I purchased this game about a year ago. it was my favorite game then, and it's my favorite now. it's the only game I still actually play, my fish are getting so fat now I love them. : ' ) I love the update that gives you more ponds,, it's a clever fix for the want for more fish and the problem of possibly having too many fish in one pond. another thing I appreciate is the new customization options like the seaweed. but by far, my favorite thing about this game is the koi. they look incredibly realistic and the that fact that you can not only choose the color of the fish but also the patterns is beautiful! the combined effect of all these factors leads not only to a good game, but an amazing experience. if you have not yet purchased this game, you should. you will not regret a thing.

Very fun and relaxing!. Overall, the game itself is fun and immersive, and customizing your own koi is very fun. What about adding in more decorative features in future updates such as waterfalls, or other aquatic creatures such as turtles, shrimp, crabs etc.? A breeding option would be interesting as well! The graphics are very beautiful and almost lifelike. Nice work!

By far the best game. I myself spend hours fishing and watching my relatives koi pond, and this game just amazed me how realistic it is I’m truly impressed with this game. Not to be offensive but it would be cool if you could add an community where you could see other people’s ponds or trade fish but it’s your game make it the way you want it. That’s just a suggestion. If anyone has negative feelings with the price I never spend a dime on games but this is one I had too it is worth every penny!

You’ll grow to become attached to the fish and I’m always eager to check on their growth and progress over the course of a day. Simple and beautiful. I’m so glad I took a chance on this. It’s addicting to play around with all the different colors/patterns for the fish, and it’s so relaxing to just watch them swim. This is beautiful in its simplicity. It’s not an app that harasses you with ads or makes you spend money for upgrades. That’s worth five stars alone, in my opinion. I have seen other reviews suggest a breeding options, and I second that. I would love for my fish to have tiny babies!

Beautiful game. The graphics are so pretty and I love how you can customize everything. Even the fish are loveable and cute, but I would like to be able to name them in a different written language like korean. It would also be fun to see a breeding feature.

Needs new updates. I wish that we could move koi from one pond to another and they should have a horizontal view that you can add a waterfall. Great graphics and fish look awesome but after while it get boring without new stuff.

Great. High quality graphics, loads of pond and fish customization options, great animations on the fish, weather, time of day etc. I like how the fish grow over time. Seems like the developers put a lot of care into the game. Wish there was a rating higher than five stars. Worth more than 3$

Excellent nishikigoi pond simulation!. If you dream of having your very own koi pond, but live in a city or rent an apartment this app may help soothe your carp cravings. I never, never buy "free" games from the App Store. I would rather pay for an uninterrupted experience and a well polished game than read adverts or buy more in game content. There is always a risk that the game you pay for will not be good but that is not the case here. Worth every penny. Great part of my morning routine, I love to feed my fish while I have my coffee. I also like trying to recreate real varieties of koi and the customization sliders really do a lot to help you dial in a pattern you may be trying for. Hope to see more from this developer in the future. Thank you.

Good game. Honestly, this game has the best graphics of any game I’ve ever played on my phone, and is super relaxing. However I have been experiencing a bug where the fish suddenly aren’t able to move forward, the swimming animation will still be working, but they can’t move, and it doesn’t fix unless I restart the game. It usually either happens when I first load into the game or right when I feed my fish, and the highest number of fish it has affected at the same time for me has only been two, however it is still annoying when I have to restart the game because one of my fish can’t eat anything. Also, I think it would be nice if while you are designing a fish, it gives you info on how large the fish is, and how big it is estimated to grow. Because I find it difficult to figure out if the fish I’m creating is a decent size and won’t end up being a small fish. And if you were to add more decor for the pond, maybe make it possible to add petals on the water, or a new type of lily pad with flowers on them, I forget what kind of flowers they are called. Also I think it would be cool if while you are feeding the fish, the fish can come up to the surface of the water and wait for you to drop more food. Also, my last suggestion is that you could add a currency into the game, where you can maybe sell your fish for money to buy either exotic looking koi, or maybe be able to purchase statues and more decorations for your pond.

Great app. Just purchased this app. Great graphics that are even better in HD mode. Really like the underwater feature. I started with 2 ponds and 4 fish. You can have 3 ponds. Nice amount of options for the scenery and fish. Great audio quality too.

Gorgeous!. This is the best “aquarium” on the AppStore. It’s stunning in literally every way. Congrats to this dev for his or her spectacular work. It can only get better from here too. Hope to see updates in the future. P.s. I use this app every day.

Relaxing. I love the game. It has gentle sounds and some nice options to customize your pond a little bit :) I had a problem with the app earlier but the developers were able to get back to me quickly and resolve the issue that I had. It's nice to know that the developers care about their app and the people who use it. Thanks guys, you're doing a wonderful job :)

Love the game!. The game is really unique and fun in its own way and the graphics are great, and the fish customization is awesome. Some things you could add to it are more ways to customize the pond and you could make it to where you can put more fish in the pond. There is also a problem with my game. When I go to create a new fish on my iPad mini 2, when I am in the middle of making it the gaming freezes and I have to leave the game and go back in it.

Really cool and great graphics. It’s a nice simulation if you wish you had fish but don’t have the room or time to take care of them. I would say that for future improvements and add-ons it would be nice to see: - Genders! Which leads me into... breeding! The game could give you the opportunity to breed fish and make hybrid or better purebred fish. Fish will become visibly pregnant and have a gestation period (3 days) and eggs will be lain in the water. After some time the eggs hatch and small fish emerge and grow normally like all the other fish. - Have in-game currency that can be gained through the player selling really elaborate or prized breeds. The older and the larger the fish the more currency gained. Also fish can be required to reach a certain age before they can be sold. - Death/disease. The fish can have the possibility to get sick with common fish illness from dirty water or malnutrition. They eventually die but I don’t know how long they should live in real time. -Ability to transport koi to other ponds. Would be cool if you could move koi around and organize the difference ponds depending on the coloration/type/age of fish. Excited to see improvements in the future!

It’s time to update. I’ve been playing this game for 3 years. It’s an amazing game! Very well made and very relaxing. It’s been helping me a lot to calm me down. But..i wish you could update the app sometimes. I’ve been playing the same game for 3years, no change at all.. I want more options to change the environment of my pond. More decorating options would be great.

Just like a real pond. I have worked in a pet store for many years and been a hobbyist for decades. This is a very entertaining app that puts you in the pond for hours of relaxation.

Fish Fabulous. Amazing app for the money; stunning graphics and lots of customizable options for your ponds and fish. Yes, ponds: there are three to enjoy. Functions very smoothly, even on full HD mode. Fabulous fish! I almost never spend money on games and this was worth it. Developers are also super helpful and quick to respond if contacted.

An absolutely gorgeous game! Just a few suggestions~. I can’t express my love for this game properly! It’s so beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what I want in a pond simulator. Everything from the level of depth you have in customizing your fish, to customizing your pond, plus and above and below water view really give this game an edge over most of its kind! My main suggestion, is that I wish there were maybe a breeding feature in the game. Where you can breed your koi fish and see what sort of colors and patterns they produce. Another idea is to maybe add a camera feature like in the game Abyssrium, where you can take pictures of your pond and fish to save and share. Other than that, this is a lovely game to relax with and I can’t recommend it enough to those who are looking for a high quality koi pond game!

Best game. F A C T .. I remember wanting to get this game SO BAD when I first saw it on the App Store. A few days later, I got the game, and I still play it to this day. I can’t express how REALISTIC the fish look! I love the newly added decorations, and colors! I’m so surprised this game is still active with bug fixes and new things. It makes me laugh every time a fish bumps into each other for food, only for the food to be taken by another fish. xD Improvements? I honestly can’t think of any, that is how amazing this game is, heck- should I even call it a game?! Even better than a game! I love this since I absolutely always wanted to take care of koi, but I can’t since I’m too young to have my own animals. 10/10 game, and it is SSOOO worth it!!!

Beautiful!. This app is so beautiful. I love relaxing and watching my koi. I feel like I have koi without all the upkeep. This has quickly become my favorite app. I suffer from depression and find the relaxation this app brings priceless.

Super Good: One recommendation. I just got this game and am already in love... the koi are cool and the new slots aren’t given to you but aren’t very hard to obtain. Just the right amount of effort to get the next slot... I have one request. Please, Please put breeding into the game! I think that would be super cool! Other than that I love it!

Lovely relaxing app. I am very much in love with this app. The app is extremely well done—the audio above and below water is relaxing (rain, crickets, frogs, thunder etc, depending on settings). I am in love with my little koi family and love checking in during the day to see how they have grown. I turn it on in the evening when I go to bed to help myself relax. The app is very straightforward to use—it is surprising over time to realize how much depth it has. You start with one koi and, over time, get more patterns and additional koi. The koi grow at different rates and have several different body types that become more apparent over time. There are a variety of settings for the pond—colors, bottom textures, plant colors, water.

Absolutely love this app!. This is a great app and relaxing enjoy playing it. The graphics are great. I have a koi pond in my yard and enjoy watching my fish and and it's too hot in summer to be out side for 15 to 20 minutes so this is a nice way to see my koi.

Defiantly worth it.. If you need relaxing, and like fish. Get this app. NOW. This is by far the best graphics I’ve ever seen. You can see how much work the devs put in this. I do think (I’m my opinion) they should add a paint bucket? Like you have a complete color koi, then you pick a color paint and you make you’re own splotch. I have a real koi, her name is Jewl (yes it’s spelled like that) and she’s all white with one big orange spot on her head. I wanted to make her in game, but I can’t get it just right. But this is an amazing game! It’s WAY over with the money. Like heck, I’d pay 20$! But for people who think this is a tycoon.. it’s not. It’s a relaxing game. So if your thinking about buying this. Don’t wait. Buy it! Defiantly 5* thank you for making this game!

Great calming game. This has been a nice relaxing and entertaining game—I say entertaining because you can follow your fish around underwater, see how they watch you, swoop and steal pellets from the other fish, etc. It does have a few weird bugs—some of the water plants may be “too tall” as I have thrown pellets that have stayed suspended in the air, and the fish go crazy trying to get to them. It doesn’t happen often. Sometimes a fish will seem like its swimming up against a glass wall and needs to be “tapped out of it”. Also strange.

Relaxing. I have new iPad Pro so I am delighted with graphics. I love just watching. I am curious if u will be adding structures as time goes by. I wish there were more apps like this to soothe me when I am stressed. Thank you for creating this. You have a good spirit

love this app.. Not much of a game downloader as I never seem to stay interested in them because of various reasons. But I took a chance on this app and I LOVE it. Def worth the three dollars. I love how you get to watch them grow and change and I’ve only had it for one day and I can’t stop checking on them 😂 one thing I do wish that the app had was the ability to check your fish’s health when you’re looking from the outside of the pond while feeding them :) but that doesn’t really matter also - I still give this a 5 star review! Love it!!. I love this game. It is very soothing. However I was thinking about just a few things that would make it better, being able to name each school of fish would be awesome!! I also think we should be able to breed them. Otherwise an all around relaxing game.

Awesome!. As a goldfish/koi enthusiast, this is now my favorite app. I’ve played around with aquarium/fish apps, but this one gives me the experience of something I’ll probably never be able to afford. Enjoying a koi pond! Beautiful and relaxing, but really it’s in the koi settings where you adjust the characteristics of the koi, where I see the attention to detail. I have plenty of goldies! From lionchu, orandas, pearlscales, telescopes, and ranchu. I’m in love with kanoko patterns, and how each fish is so unique, watching how their coloring changes, black revealing orange over time. It’s interesting to see how accurate they got the color fade setting so that you can pull/fade pigments adjust color but still keep it realistic, right down to scale type! I have to drag myself away from baby koi begging for food at LFS, knowing I can’t afford a set up for them. But the app is giving me the same giddiness I get around real waterbabies.

Absolutely Magnificent!. The graphics are AMAZING and the gameplay of feeding and interacting with your fish is quite relaxing. I really wish this company would make more apps like this, possibly with frogs, or goldfish, or something else. It is simply beautiful and amazing. I would recommend this app to almost anyone. The fish’s movements are elegant and clear. Overall, this app is brilliant. I can’t get over how relaxing it is, too.

It’s fun. It’s fun and cool also really immersive but I have one koi that is extremely under weight weighing 0.1kg and its length is 13.6 and ever sense it’s gotten to my pond it was at 0.8kg and now it’s 0.1kg can I be told why also I think my game might be glitched with how you unlock koi slots it says you need 1 fish over 0.8kg and all mine are except Cali. Cali is the underweight goldfish btw one more thing add butterfly koi

Utterly Lovely. A beautiful, serene experience, just what I was looking for! I hope they continue to support the app forever, I would be devastated if it became obsolete. Looking forward to seeing new updates if they decide to go in that direction (maybe a cloud backup for your koi? I'd love to be able to transfer mine across devices), but if not, still more than happy to enjoy the app just as it is!

Food/other stuff. I think I think their should be a store where u can buy different food like to make your fish grow longer or gain weight and also a setting where u could expand your pond I know I’m asking so much but I think it would make the game more idk cool I just have a lot of things in mind to make it better thx keep it up and I. Incredible!!. I’ve only had this game for a few hours and it’s amazing! I’m having so much fun with all the fish. It’s great that you can customize the colors. And the pond designs are beautiful as well, and the background music is relaxing. Only suggestion I have is for the extras for the pond decorations. I think it’d be really pretty to have some colorful plants to put at the bottom, or have some colorful rocks as a pattern for the bottom of the pond. For fish lovers and people looking for relaxation.. I’m skeptical about buying apps on my phone but when I saw this one I had to try it and I don’t regret it. The graphics are fantastic for a phone, the fish movements are just as good, you can customize your koi and the ambient sounds, weather and daytime cycle is perfect. This is not a fast paced app by any means but I think that enhances it because it gives a more authentic experience of having your own koi pond. To top it all off, one purchase and you get everything, no need for additional purchases. This app really nails it.

It’s just simple, peaceful, and looks amazing on my iPad Air. Well worth the price for no ads or micro transactions!

Fish lovers app. I have always loved aquatic plants and fish, but living in a cramped city apt doesn’t provide many options. This app is stunning on both visual and audio levels. Customization of the fish colors, substrate and color of water are available, among a few other details. I like that after I select one of my fish to “follow” the menu fades away. This is a relaxing app to run when my phone is plugged in on my desk - calm and beautiful, not distracting. Some things I’d enjoy in updates would be an option for plant customization/types choices; additional ponds with more or different above-water bird/etc sounds.. love the rain! I noticed the clouds in the sky never change even if it’s storming - it would be cool to see that improved. Really looking forward to how the developer builds things further in the future!

Beautiful & captivating game.. I love how I can make new fish that then come to life in my pond. Being able to "swim" with them by pinch zoom is amazing. Easy to get started too as I didn't know much about Koi. Definitely recommend this one!

Great experience, eating my battery. I love the calm I get after work on the train, escaping to my little pond. Absolutely gorgeous graphics and amazing simplicity. At the end of the day though I'll have about 35% of my battery left. I open the app, feed my koi and then literally just over a minute and my battery dies. Further optimisations?

This game is really amazing. I bought this game when I was in a really bad position and it really helped me to relax and take one step at a time. Relaxing 😊. love it! a pretty relaxing game to play before bed or when just wanting to let your mind wander.... relaxing sounds and music and great variety of fish to be personalised with patterns, colouring and names as well as the habitat including the water colour, rocks, leaves, time of day ect ect. I love checking on my koi over days to see how much they’ve grown! overall a smooth game

As if I’m in Japan. The graphics are wonderful, the rivulets of the water are so lovely and calming. It’s a beautiful game with a beautiful purpose and concept. Large koi’s small koi’s, orange koi’s, black koi’s... I get to clean my pool, feed the koi and customise them! There are different ponds... it’s a relaxing, beautiful and wonderful game. It’s as if I’m in Japan! Fun fact: Koi fish are my fav fish. UwUz

Fish lover's paradise!. I love aquariums and fish ponds, and this app sets itself apart from so much of the digital world in that it really feels relaxing and authentic! The developers have done a great job seeing the scene with not only beautiful and realistic fish, but a peaceful and satisfying environment that really transports me away to a serene garden with nature all strong and my beautiful fish to feed and share it with. GREAT JOB sakana and keep improving it! How about 20 fish and some with veil tail (long fins) option? I love the update, especially the new rain! You can see the lightning flash on the fish underwater!

Keep Updating!. This game is awesome, everything is so realistic! I really hope you guys could keep updating and adding new features to the game, don’t give up on it. I couldn’t find another app like this anywhere! I would suggest adding: - more things you can do to the pond (adding lighting system, water flow and etc) - other Japanese fish species like goldfish maybe (Ranchu, Ryukin and etc) - Breeding pond (this might be asking too much but it will definitely take the game to a whole new level)

Very detailed, amazing app. I love this app, graphics are amazing, has great features as detailed as changing the time of day and it's fun to watch your fish grow and unlock new features. You can customise your fish in colour, colour pattern, name and even scale appearance. Very detailed, very nice to open up and watch your fish grow and interact.

Beautiful game!. The graphics in this game are absolutely stunning and surreal. The fish look and behave so realistically and the nature sounds and scenery make the game very relaxing. While there’s not much to do other than feed and watch your fish, I think that adds to the serenity of the game. Not having to worry about checking every 5 minutes for rewards, upgrades etc like some other games. Instead I quite look forward to checking every day and seeing how my fish have grown. Definitely worth the price.

Tons of Atmosphere. This is a beautiful thing - the graphics are excellent but the real stand out for me is the audio - above the water birds singing, flies buzzing, below the water just the serene sound of the water - excellent - get your headphones on.

Great game, Beautiful HD Graphics. Works amazing on iPhone 11. Hello, I would kindly like to ask that this game needs more new content. The game is very high quality and meets my standards or relaxation. But after a while the game loses its momentum. I feel like we need more new content added. I would love to see if we could also decorate and edit the outskirts of the pond as well. Maybe like adding Sakura trees or a small wooden dock. Also I would prefer if you could increase the Field of view and have more freedom with the camera options when above the water. Majority of my Koi are over 105 CM of length, maybe it would be cool if you could grow them larger than 113.6 CM. I feel like this game also needs to be connected with other players, Multiplayer interactions are needed as well.

Nice but could be so much better. As far as Koi ponds go this is OK. Having seen koi ponds in Asian countries it would be nice if the app developers could add some extras. For example maybe a Buddha, or pagodas, or an Asian style bridge, or all of those things to give it a really wonderful Buddhist Zen feeling.

Five stars are not enough!. I don't often write reviews but for this one I had to! The graphics are gorgeous and it is so relaxing to play with the fish! I love that I can look underwater and have the fish look at me while I'm looking at them! If I could rate this one 10 stars I would!! I've played several games that constantly ask for money. One Step At A Time. I understand, I just have couple more ideas that came to me. Weather elements ❄️🌧☀️🌥☁️🌬. At night time there could fireflies or floating lanterns or possibly an under water light built in and the player decides if they want it on or off with a simple tap and that's all. But your right one update at a time.

Relaxing. Only complaint is it suddenly started going back to intro screen almost immediately. Didn't do when first downloaded.

Truly addictive and relaxing!. It is very truly worth paying for! I must say this game is just all around the best of its kind I’ve seen! From the graphics being phenomenal, to the game being very simple and easy to use, it makes it very easy to just sit back and enjoy! I have very bad anxiety/depression and this game has really helped me with that. Every morning I sit back with my cup of coffee before work, check on my fishes growth/feed them. It gives me something to look forward to every morning. During stressful situations it also helps me just sit back and relax, kind of take a break when I’m overstimulated with the world around me. I am sad I’ve almost collected all the fish patterns. It would be cool in the future to see more patterns/colors to collect. I do love that the game is very simple and you aren’t getting pushed to spend real money on the game to get certain things. It would be cool if you could have a trade feature so you could trade your fish with different people for a fish you find you are more drawn to. Another cool feature would be a full customer option. Where you could customize the fishes body type, fine tune colors, choose the pattern you want and specifically where you want them, the different color of the patterns, the fin type and shape, also adding in some different types of long fin options. One last cool option would be if you could have unlimited ponds instead of being limited to just three so you can keep growing and adding more fish. Along with an option you can move a fish to any one of your ponds.

Gorgeous pond game. This is definitely the best koi pond game out on the market. Without a doubt, it has gorgeous graphics, it looks even more realistic after you turning on the HD version. What also shocks me is that they even implemented a system where you can adjust the time of the day, so that you can view the kois in different lighting!!! Great game! Worth every penny!

Love. Love the idea and it’s almost perfect. Suggestions: This app desperately needs more options for fish environments, the two types of leaves and reeds are dull. The water options are too many and too murky. Customizable topography (ponds) needed. The time of day should move on its own without user interaction. The fish should have more character so they are more interesting to watch. Food could be offered in various types.. Fish do not grow properly.. some are huge and others do not progress in growth.

Simple and well made.. It's a pleasant app and the graphics are probably one of the best around in the category of pond games. The only feed back I have is a possibly wider of plants/plant selection or decor and another species or two of animals inhabiting the pond (Example: minnows, frogs, eels, goldfish, other small creatures) to accent the the koi. Something like that would make this app go above and beyond!

My Favorite Koi Pond App. Im digging this app. Unlike other apps, you can customize your Koi to some extent. Feed it daily, and unlock more features as you play. Developer definitely set a good foundation, wonder what ideas/improvements they can do to a future release and update.

Eating my battery and causing phone to run hot. In not saying I know why, but I’d say something is suspicious with this app. Suddenly the battery is being drained by Safari and My Koi apps, even when neither is in use. My phone is running hot whether I am using Safari or My Koi. I really enjoyed the Koi. I found them soothing but I deleted the app.

Relaxing and Peaceful. I’m not particularly a huge fan of fish, preferring aquarium fish myself, but I really enjoy this app. I “play” it on my iPad 9.7 where it is simply beautiful. The rain and thunder sound great, the fish are beautiful and highly customizable, and unlike real fish they do not seem to ever die; the worst thing that happens is that your ponds will become dirty if the fish are mad that you’ve been too long in between feedings. The ponds, like the fish, are highly customizable, from rocks, leaves, and gravel to the color of the water. You can change the time of day and choose to have little to constant rain and thunderstorms. I think it’s absolutely worth the $3 the developer asks for this app. I would love to see the developer take his fish designs and create an aquarium app that has dozens to hundreds of popular aquarium fish. The talent he or she has shown in the My Koi app tells me that the developer has the talent to create an aquarium app that would rival the best of them, and I would happily pay $3-$10 for an aquarium app created by this person or persons. The only complaint that I have with this app is that there doesn’t seem to be much information on it - for example, can the fish die from starvation or just old age? If the pond(s) is/are not kept clean, can they develop a fishy disease? Can you over feed the fish, and will over feeding contribute to a dirty pond? I would also love to see maybe a random toad or frog that hangs around the pond once in a while just to liven it up a bit. My complaint is a very minor one and is significantly overshadowed by all of the praise that I heap upon this app. Very, very well done.

Superb!. In a word, superb! I have had many koi type apps in the past. Had pocket pond 2 for years. Everything was SO expensive and difficult to buy or earn. But this app, is just amazing. Once you purchase this app, you will not spend another DIME. This app is not another pay to play app. All the decorations for the ponds are already available from the start. You get 3 ponds and don’t have to buy or earn them. You earn more koi by simply feeding them once a day and watching them grow. The bigger the koi get, the more spaces and breeds become available. I absolutely LOVE this game. I have kept koi in real life for over 35 years. And what I love about this game is they are actual breeds. YOU get to choose the colors, the patterns, the breeds, for your ponds. And you can rename them once created. And if u decide you don’t like a certain koi you’ve created, simply remove it and instantly create another to take its place. The graphics are stunning! The rain, thunder, water lilies, everything is SO realistic. The koi look like actual real breeds. And once you unlock an achievement, such as a koi reaching a certain length in one pond, it unlocks another space and breed for ALL 3 ponds. I only give this game 5 stars because I can’t give it 10! The fact it is not pay to play, and everything is so realistic, along with all pond decorations not having to be bought or earned, is awesome. Thank you for creating such an amazing koi pond app that is amazing, and after buying it, everything is free! Trust me when I tell you, if you are a koi lover, you will not regret the few dollars it costs purchasing this app! 😄

Realistic. The koi movements are very realistic! I love how each koi is different in color and pattern! This app is best used with headphones so you can listen to the calling sounds.
