I find this Very Useful/no subscription. I take a lot of my own shots of the sky. But as someone said sometimes it’s not cooperating. Like the day the thunderheads kept blowing the fluffy top off. Running out of time, wait! I know! Whew, thank you, Skylab. Coming in for a combined winner. Great set of effects and trees.

Nice app, needs work though. You can get some nice skies from Skylab, but the editing features definitely need some work. In masking, the "undo last step" icon undoes a couple steps ago instead of the most recent one I would like undone. The pinch & zoom feature of skies is janky too. I really want to like this app, but I usually have to open it in Leonardo after to use the clone feature to fill in holes that Skylab won't let me complete within itself.

Meh. Bought this app thinking this would be a great editing tool for photos. Not very user friendly, tutorials don’t help much at all and worst of all the sky’s it offered only work if your photo is of a completely flat landscape. Any hills or buildings and the sky’s will cover over them. Now I’m sure there are additional apps you can buy to fix that but in regards to this ap... on its own.... doesn’t do much at all

Great app but suddenly stopped. I’ve had this app and several more of brain fever. This is a great app for adding realistic skies. But I recently updated my iOS and I can’t open a photo. I’ve shut down my iPad and also deleted the app and reinstalled it -which suddenly takes forever. Please advise or update if necessary. Thanks

Broken. What’s the purpose of the layers if they don’t work . Please fix app because at this point I want my money back

Wonderful Skies 🥰. This is a great app to make your pictures beautiful. There are little trees and background people too.

Awesome. This is an awesome app. User friendly & I love that the developers keep up with updates & effects. Such a pleasure when developers care to keep up with their app creations.

Not worth the money. The app is super simplistic (other than the light flares) and you can only really use it if you have a picture that's in landscape mode and is a straight line. I wish I could take my money back and download a free app that did all the same things, but with more editing features.

Used to be a great app, now is a useless one.. I been using this app for more than a year, it was a great tool to replace or Improve the sky in photos. For an unknown reason the app stop working. As soon as I finish editing the mask (probability the most important part of the app) and click DONE the app stop functioning and close by itself. So far I haven’t have the same problem with other apps in the bundle. Up date: As 03/10 All apps in the bundle are having the same problem, I can’t edit masks, therefore the apps are useless. UPDATE: I BEN CONTACTED BY THE DEVELOPER of the app they helped me to solve the issue. Thank you guys.

Sky's the limit. We really shouldn't take this team for granted ... All of their photo apps are 5+ stars ... They definitely set the bar high for premium photo fx apps ... Many thanks for another solid addition to your already impressive collection ... Get all of them with no regrets!!

Easy for the novice to transform a dull sky. I do not know how to use elaborate apps like Photoshop and Lightroom. But, this simple app allows me to transform a dull sky into eye-catching and photo enhancing image. My experience has been great.

Keeps crashing. This is a stunning app - easy to use, amazing set of options with great resolution. I love everything about it. However the app keeps crashing when I go to choose a photo or switch different settings.

Complete garbage. Save your money, get literally any other editor and find your own sky pictures to merge. Everything from the quality to the interface is steaming, hot garbage. Worst app purchase I’ve ever made.

Help!. Love this app! Unfortunately after a year of using it the app shuts down when I’m mid way through a project. Very frustrating, would love to keep using this app but can’t if this keeps happening.

It's good. I just bought this and I'm enjoying it everything works good except it randomly crashes😞 please fix and I will change my rating to five stars.

Glitchy as hell. I was so excited about this app but it crashes constantly. I’ve made sure I have the app and iOS updated, cleared the cache, deleted and reinstalled, restarted my device...and it still crashes every time I try to save and half the time when I’m editing. I’ve yet to make it through an actual edit from start to finish.

Terrible. Only for flat horizon images.. The app is doesn’t work for most photos. Only photos with flat horizons which you can do with most other free apps. Not worth the money nor the memory or crowding of another app.

Do not purchase until it's fixed.. Crashes when trying to open a photo. I own all the BrianFeverMedia apps, they all are having the same problems.

Awful app!. Don't even waste the $3, this app doesn't function unless you have a pic with sky and nothing else obstructing the sky or if you want to add fake looking elements to your pics. It also crashes every 5 minutes. Look for another option...

Amazing, but.... I can't purchase the free other skies. It says it is free and the download is in background, but nothing appears for me.

Not an easy app to use.... They only have the simplest of tutorials for picking skies. They don’t instruct on how to use the more challenging parts of the app. The masking doesn’t work well, positioning the skies and layers is difficult and there are no tutorials. I have not been able to figure it out. I’m not impressed and wish I could have my money back.

Don’t waste your money. This app is terrible. I can’t detect objects in you image. It simple place a sky photo over the top of everything in your image

Impossible to make sky look real. In other apps you can adjust your foreground and edit off the sky- not with this app, leaving your mountains looking cloudy and face looking blue, DO NOT BUY

The sky is no longer the limit. A specialized tool, but a good one. When you've created a good composition but the sky hasn't done its part, this app can add the missing element.

Masking Tool Stopped Working correctly. The app used to be really good but now the overlays don’t identify buildings or any structures. And when you try to manually adjust the overlay just covers the entire image. Really disappointed that I paid for this app!

The best!. I have used tons of photo apps and I love this!

Good idea, poor execution...limited editing and functionality.. The sky is only a horizontal /rectangular sky? If there are buildings or any tall structures that extend above the horizon in the photograph, the sky elements in your app will cover them. Additionally, there’s no “undo” function. If I want to remove an element and choose another / different element from another category, I’m stuck with the last element selected. Lastly, the SlyLab app only allows a “save” and a “start over” (with another photo). SUGGESTION: The “Quickshot” app by Enlight is the app SkyLab should try to imitate. I’m unsubscribing and deleting SkyLab.

Love this app. Upgraded to IOS 11.0.3 and Skylab stalls after you pick a photo out of your Photos Album. Can you please help me as I love this photo and it would be a shame for it to just end this way. This is a absolute awesome app, I just wish it would work after this update. Hope to hear back about this soon.

Disappointing. They do have several beautiful sky backgrounds. I’m just disappointed that you can’t cut out your picture and have it go IN FRONT of the beautiful sky backgrounds. When applying the sky backgrounds it goes in front of your picture and cuts off your building or person. Don’t waste your money on this app.

Update makes it not work!. I updated the app for the first time in over a year. Now the “mask” and auto don’t work AT ALL! It’s now a useless app!

Great app. When the sky is not cooperating, this is what I use. Simply use the mask tools and replace the sky.

mask does't work. mask on ipad does nothing to outline the subject, so the clouds cover it.

Super Wicked Awesome. Whether you own other Brainfever editing apps or just looking at this one, get this gem. This app is stellar! The app is very easy to use and the layout is beautiful. A must have app for you digital editing catalog!!

Can't use because it CRASHES. I have limited resources and research my apps thoroughly. I wish I could get my money back on this one. I can get the app open with one of my photos, sometimes I can begin to look thru the skies, and a couple times I've been able to begin a project... But EVERY time I try to use it it crashes. It's so frustrating to pay a company and get nothing. Very disappointed.

Don’t buy. The sky layers are almost completely useless unless the photo you’re editing has a near perfect horizon with no objects along it. It don’t not blend well at all. Wish I didn’t purchase this. You can find better sky edit apps for free

Awesome app. Takes some time to find the kind of pix to use. All the one star reviewers have no imagination to create work with this app.

Great app - no landscape mode. App is easy to use and works great but needs landscape mode on iPhone

Absolutely Amazing. IG: TheKdd to see some examples. I use nearly all of their apps, every one is pretty amazing in their own right. Allows you to add that extra touch you're missing. This turns a dull sky amazing. Love the additional elements. Easy to use. One of the best purchases I have made and definitely a go to photo editor.

Keeps freezing. Tried to give it a chance but screen keeps freezing and crashing. I give up

Waste of $3. I tried it on just one photo to understand how limited and unusable it is. It will only work okey with a certain type of photos: straight horizon and no extra objects. Hope it will get better one day, but for now - don't waste your money!

Not bad for what it claims. Once I contacted support about how to do a few things, it worked out pretty good. Should get better once I learn the different procedures. Support got back to me very fast by the way.

Auto mask. It works to a degree. The auto mask tool leaves a line around the subject so there’s a outline before the sky is applied making the photo look unnatural. I’m not super happy with purchase.

Best app for 2019. This is in my number one apps list. I use it every second day and have for the past three years. Creates images I have had printed in magazines. The bomb!!!! Now I’d doesn’t work : (

Needs work. The erase/add tool in mask desperately needs to be able to find an edge because as it is, it’s impossible to create a neat looking job. Transitions between layers look messy and unnatural.

Horrible app. Stay away. Auto mask did a horrible job. Nothing compared to the newer AI apps out there. Such a wast for my hard earned money

Crashes frequently & other shortcomings. The software team ought to use the app before releasing it. Then they would realize what many users have been saying for months. This app is effectively useless. It crashes to frequently and the mask feature does not work at all. DISAPPOINTED.

Phenomenal!. Love everything about this app and it's sibling apps, especially LensFlare. So powerful, easy to use and amazingly beautiful effects. Will improve and give a lift to almost any landscape! This is a must-have for small device editors!😃

Fabulous way to enhance your photos. A great way to enhance your photos. Add a sunset, clouds, storms, or trees, shrubs, etc. Easy to use. Punch up your photos a little or a lot. Well worth the price. Thank you guys!

Crashing. This used to be a great app. Now it’s crashing on my iPad constantly, but not on my iPhone.

Constanly crashing when masking. This app constantly crash especially when I’m masking. I got more resource demanding apps like GarageBand and lightroom but never had a problem with them crashing

Clunky. Very clunky app when trying to use the masking option, zooming in will freeze the photo in one spot sometimes, still crashes when masking. Hard to get fine details when masking because the zoom is so difficult to use. The sky options are great and they usually look flawless :)

WORTH THE WAIT!. Call me crazy, but the app dropped at 12am and I have been up for the the past hour totally inspired. I just finished my first project and I couldn't be happier. First off, the app is incredibly easy to use. If you are familiar with any of the other brainfever apps, the mechanics are the same with the layers, masks, edits, filters, etc. Now, for the fun part: the visuals. Pure heaven. A great variety of skies in all shades that are included, not in-app purchases. Sunny skies, storms, vortexes, and then extra items. When you save the project, I love how you can open it in other brainfever apps without losing any of the resolution. As you can see, I have been a big fan of brainfever apps because they are always high quality and dependable. They have never crashed on me and I add a lot of layers. This new app will be my new favorite toy. I can't wait to post my surfing storm pic on Instagram tomorrow morning. @joshstyle if you want to check it out for yourself. This is a MUST BUY.

Tutorial mode issue. I can’t get out of the tutorial mode so I can go back to my own photos.

No feathering. How are you supposed to edit a sky with no option to feather?

My favorite app from this developer. Another great app from the creator of many great apps. If you own any of their other, more well-known apps, the UI is a little different but has a similar feel to it. I do wish there was less overlap between their apps - this makes it seem like the devs simply want to create an unnecessary new app (see "lens light," and "lens flare" for examples of this), I would assume for the profit, but I'm only guessing. Anyways, this app is unique enough to justify creating its own platform, for anyone that owns the other apps and have wondered if it's worth it. It is. You will see some familiar functions, like the after-filter options are the same, for instance. I'm not a fan of the way the UI is laid out in their apps, but the overall quality and uniqueness of these products go a long ways to counteract my dislike of their user interface and workflow layout. There is room for improvement, but this company has been good about steadily building better apps and updates along the way. Their masking option, for instance, has improved a great deal since it was introduced. My biggest complaint is that all of this companies apps are prone to crashing. Not a lot, but enough to be noticed - especially because this usually happens near the end of an edit or while attempting to save an edit. The frustration involved with spending a long time on an edit only to have it disappear is beyond words. If I could only pick one thing for improvement, this would be it! This app, Reflect, and Alien Sky are probably my favorite apps by this company. I would recommend this and their other apps based on my overall experience with these products (I own all but one of their photo editing apps).
