Good game for card fans, es fans, and card game haters. I’ve only just started the game, in fact, I’ve only just finished the first three tutorial games, but this game is pretty good. I’ve never liked card games and I’ve always hated mobile games, but this game is different. I actually like this game as a mobile game and a card game. Notice I didn’t say as an elder scrolls game. It’s because this game feels less like an elder scrolls game and more just a fantasy game with elder scrolls contents. I don’t like this game because of its an elder scrolls game, but because of the gameplay. I have never played a game that made me change my mind on a type of game I didn’t like before. But I’m not far enough in yet to like the game for any other reason except for the fact that it is fun. After I get some more experience in the game I will make a new review.

First but not last. This is my first time ever actually playing and getting into a card game like this. Tried it with magic the gathering but I just couldn’t get into it. I’m not sure if this is pay to win, I haven’t went up against other players just yet. So far I am still getting the hang of it so I’ll update this review as I progress. Biggest thing I would see as a needed improvement would be to allow offline gameplay. Also, I get disconnected from the app every single time my screen goes dark. I have to restart the app and lose all progress when that happens so it’s very annoying. Some of us have lives and need to it the tablets and phones down while we run off and tend to our kids, pets, etc. I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds that extremely annoying. Good game. The way they set up the story is a little weird because at times you’ll find yourself having a card battle with a wolf.. lol

There is no future for this game. Update: I am no longer able to even download the game thinking the new set of cards would be interesting. Nope. All I get now is a message “sparkyloginfailed”. How long has the new client been released and you are still having so many login bugs. A game can’t be successful if people can’t even play. It’s sad to watch such a wonderfully made game crash and burn because of a new client/developer. There is no future for this game. Turn back traveler. Original: I have tried to be hopeful. As someone who genuinely loved this game on its old client, spent real hard earned money, and streamed, the new client has turned me away from the game entirely. The mobile client does not even let me play the game after downloading and continues to load assets. And mobile was my primary method to play. And don’t even start on the glitches and game crashes when the game plays on PC. To add salt to the wound removing twitch drops, temporarily for an unforeseen time, at such a pivotal moment for the game was also damaging. Yes the game is flashy and pretty, but no longer has the Elder Scrolls feel that drew me to it initially (and kept me playing since launch). Maybe there’s a future for TESL, but that is not today or any day soon.

Beautiful game. As a longtime Hearthstone player, I find Elder Scrolls Legends to be far superior for a number reasons. Incredible artwork, voiceovers, good music, a story mode they gives you free packs, and - last but not least - The game is simply about strategy and not pay to win. I could actually get into it and also get my friends into it without asking them to drop money to catch up because they are seasons behind and don't have the legendary cards that most need to win in Hearthstone. As a result, it's also a lot more fun to experiment with decks rather than having to go to a "winning" deck that someone on Reddit made. Great adaptation to the phone with this one. Yes, it kills your battery, but it's a great game with some nuance to it due to the differences in lanes.

Rigged. First of all it is a great game except for a few things. The art is spectacular and the layout really addictive. But I just can’t help but feel like a lot of matches are rigged. For example, against the AI, only two or three rounds into it you get lucky and draw a high - power card with no other cards in play (you are set to do a lot of damage next turn when he is available to attack). Well it so happens that once it’s the opponent’s turn he so happens to draw a card that scraps yours immediately without you getting the chance to use your high-power card. It was the only one the opponent had in its deck and it so happens that he drew it then. This type of stuff happens in almost EVERY match against the AI. They just seem to have the card that counters yours. Kinda frustrating. Also, often you are set against opponents that you don’t stand a chance against. They have many of the cards you would have to pay to get and unless you pay you would not stand a chance. Of course, if you pay to get nice cards they would just match you against someone with even better cards so you still don’t stand a chance. This game would be great if card draws were really random and player matchups were more balanced. I unfortunately has to delete the game to stop myself from falling into the endless pay-to-win trap. It’s really too bad because other that that this game would be great.

Still worth your time.. Been playing this off an on for years. I love it and I’m sad it’s no longer in development or receiving balance patches. There are a few very cheap problems but they aren’t always encountered. I play ranked for fun and usually have less than 20 second queues. I only spent money on this once and for amount of time I spent playing the well earned it. If your are TCG fan you should definitely check this out if you are bored of your other games. You will eventually get a decent collection without dropping a dime. If you are an elder scrolls fans this also might be worth your time. You’ll appreciate the cards. I know one day they’ll kill the servers hopefully not this decade though.

It is a good game. This game has great graphics and it is easy to pick up and put down. It is frustrating at times due to the randomness of the card draws. I have to admit, though, that it is probably the best app available for f2p with no real need to buy unless you are wanting to enjoy the game content a little faster than if you were to scrimp and save in-game currency. Everything is purchasable with in-game currency and it is available consistently through regular daily play. A little advice to new players. Avoid wasting gold on arena and stick to ranked play and the story until you save enough to unlock another story or purchase a custom deck. It will most likely take you a week to save 1000 gold unless you are hardcore. Then it will take you a few days.

Good game but needs much simple work.. For starters... The tabs on my main action screen are invisible. Other things such as scrolling through menus to the far end will have you restarting the game. This game takes far to long to load but I must say it loads good between screens. Gameplay is a monster for connectivity. If you have bad internet the you will have a bad time. Action graphics and voiceovers are rather stale during battle but is very unique in its battle system. I mostly like it but I've found it to be less dynamic and boring in the beginning as the game has you very limited repetitive in the struggle to get things going to your own custom flavorful notch. But it is there but they share very greedy on experience. I'll be more than glad to write more about the gam and give it a 5 star rating when they iron out the kinks that shouldn't have ever been an issue and are proof enough to me that the play tested it just enough so they could publish it and start having it make them money... Shame on them for that btw. But the gam is colorful and entertaining enough to keep my attention. I'm sure this game will progress into something that I'll like even more. Too bad the didn't make an action adventure game... That would be nice to see next.

For Skyrim!. This addictive card game is crazy fun, especially when you have friends to play with, and how much thought comes into what should have been a simple card game. With its online prowess, cards can be updated for fair play, and different combinations, you can really find your own creativity. Matches can be occasionally swift, but it’s the long, stressful matches that really get to you. Also, you can rudimentary communicate to the other player, thanking them, being cheeky, or just a respectful player. Either way, I think it’s really fun when you’re reassured that your opponent is not a bot. It makes every battle exhilarating! Can’t wait to play more! The Nords must take back Skyrim! (Stormcloak Deck is the coolest! Haha!)

Updated to developer!. You won’t be disappointed at all with this game if you love either MTG, hearthstone, or even Shadow Era. A lot of chapters and puzzles to play and you get a lot of cards, decks, and coins to unlock more. You don’t have to spend a cent to play and have a great deck. I’ve never played Elder Scrolls (games) but I wish I’ve had. But to tell you the truth you don’t need too. The devs did a great job on this game. Artwork and flow of this game is beautiful. You honestly won’t be disappointed and if you are just go play Yu-Gi-Oh! or Pokémon........ Updated to developers. Please fix the screen resolution for the new iPhones x series. I’m pushing the buttons while playing on the black part of the screen and sometimes push out the wrong cards to play. Simple fix thank you.

Used to be amazing. When I first downloaded this game a few months back it was amazing. The art, the animations and the online multiplayer. I got to a point where I logged in at least once every day for the benefits. Now after this upgrade (which took 3 days to get running) the new art and extra time consuming animations and the INABILITY to re-enter a match you were disconnected from is what made me uninstall. The new design makes it look like a free2PAY mobile game. You had it right the first time, what happened? Everything is bubbly and thick outlines like they’ve abandoned their core audience and are only looking for young children who will spend their parents money. The change in the art is for this very purpose and why this game now looks like every other game on the market. You’ve really done an amazing job at ruining a once great product, and even if I could get this version to run properly on my barely used 6+ I still wouldn’t play. Call me when you make legacy skins so I can get the old version back. Until then 2 stars.

Great game and ideas for new games.. Please read to the end it would mean alot. Great game I truly love this game I have restarted it many times just to eat the full experience it meets my expectations, I don't have anything to complain about in this game or any ideas for it but I have a great idea for another mobile game for you guys and the very vast fanbase. I would love to see a port of the original first 2 elder scrolls games Arena and Daggerfall. It has been done with RuneScape this year and seeing Sega put their classic games on the app store I think it would be do able. It would introduce many newer fans to the original games and show more people about the story of the elder scrolls universe since most of the elder scrolls fans started at Skyrim. I would love to see this become reality and not just a dream of mine I feel like not only me but others would truly enjoy. Please consider this game idea. To all of those who have read this far thank you it truly means the world to me if you like the idea of Arena and Daggerfall coming to mobile please find ways to get the word to others and Bethesda themselves I would greatly appreciate it. Again thank you it truly means the world to me thank you and have a great day or night or whatever time it is when you are reading this.

Free to play friendly. I have not spent a penny on this game and have had months of enjoyment out of it by playing arena. Mechanics from similar card games translate well to this game and I was able to get max wins in arena very frequently, enough so that the arena awards with the daily quest rewards have continuously paid for my next arena tickets. I dig the fact that a pay to win game can have such fun balanced free to play mechanics for skilled players. If you want to pay to get an edge in constructed play, feel free, but if not you can always play arena (a more fun format in my opinion anyway) and experience every card in the game in a different free to play format while building your collection from rewards. Very satisfied!

A great entry for fans of CCG's and TES. At first I had thought this game was a knock-off of Blizzard's Hearthstone, but as I played and built my collection I found that it is a beautiful game with lots of great art and references to the Elder Scrolls universe as well as a CCG that introduces some great new mechanics to the mix. My first caveat is that I have not gotten around to Gwent, so I'm not sure if any similarities could be drawn. I do know that the game's color system will be immediately familiar to MtG players, and that most of the card's individual mechanics will be immediately recognizable to veterans of HS. My second caveat is that I am a huge Elder Scrolls nerd, but I feel that Legends provides all the nostalgia and excitement that Hearthstone did for Warcraft veterans, albeit that Blizzard's entry still feels a little more stylishly designed and smooth-running. That said, Legends plays smoothly and the mechanics that may seem familiar are still presented in new and surprising ways. The new lane, rune, and prophecy systems inject new considerations to the control of deck meta and can dramatically alter the pace of a game. All in all, I haven't been this excited about an app since HS and I was surprised and delighted to see such a strong competitor in the mobile CCG arena- I will definitely be playing this more over the coming months if only to see the direction it goes.

Total failure. This was the best game I had ever played on mobile. After the client switch to Sparkypants I had to leave my phone unlocked for over an hour while hooked up to WiFi to get a successful download. Was met with oversaturated colors ala Hearthstone instead of the graphics appropriate for the Elder Scrolls IP. Then all of the bugs kept the game from being reliably playable. Then they patched it. Since the patch even while hooked to WiFi and with unlimited data on LTE in Seoul I have not been able to install the game again. I’ve left my Apple 8+ unlocked on a charger overnight and still can’t download the assets. Five days now. Can’t express my disappointment as I had spent a good deal of money on this game in recognition of the quality the prior client DireWolf had delivered. Someone at Bethesda ought to be held accountable. The ESL twitter feed, the Bethesda ESL forums, and the recent reviews on this App Store should inform the stakeholders of the incompetence of the people charged with managing the customer retention of this precious beloved game.

I don’t write reviews but...... I’ll try to keep this short and sweet.....to those with negative reviews-I’m sorry but ur just wrong. I neither have the time nor desire to explain why each is either full of sh%t or just plain not good at CCG’s. A lot of work and thought went into the mechanics so that this wouldn’t b another cookie cutter CCG. There is more than enuf in this game to satisfy someone wanting a serious option to MTG or HS. As in both afore mentioned games the AI is what it is so u can become a GOOD player. There is no AI imbalance that is out to get u-just get better, and if that means spending a couple bucks for expansion packs or even pre built decks( for those that just don’t get the concept of meta) then so be it. I mean geez u don’t really think the Devs made this game cause they felt like being nice do u? Anyone else remember the days of going to the store to buy packs of MTG cards? Cause I do.....and while on that point-PLEASE-I beg u all,if I’m wrong, someone intelligently point out why. Ok I’m done ranting,if u dig CCG’s and u already play MTG or HS or both and want another cool one to dive into then u won’t b disappointed with Bethesda’s entry.

Games Rigged. Games rigged and I’ll explain why. If you spend real money on the game you can’t lose, however, once you stop spending real cash your matches start getting rigged. You start losing left and right. I tested this theory and spent real life dollars into game. Once I did that I couldn’t lose, until I didn’t spent a single cent on the game. I also noticed when I built a beck, it did great for like 5-7 matches. For some reason the deck you build goes from winning to losing every match. Then you have to delete deck and start all over aging. Only to play this cycle over and over again, or unless you spend real money. The other flaw is if the other opponent name has guest in it your and if other player has a deck with 100 cards your going to lose. My personal opinion save your money and your time games rigged. Iv build deck after deck. I even copied other decks and the result always the same. You win, then you start to lose.

Cheating computer. This is a very addictive game and rightfully so, very user friendly and easy to learn. Having said that, I’ve noticed that sometimes (usually when on a good winning streak) the opponent computer played deck will ignore some of the rules that were put forth at the beginning of the game, such as playing cards even though all of the mana is spent, having more than the max number of any one card in the deck, or having one or more creatures attacking more than once in an attack phase, all of which with no card effect or anything else giving those cheat-like abilities an explanation. Those are the only things I’ve seen happen and it’s not all the time, but I would really appreciate it if that could be fixed because I really like Bethesda as a company all together and letting these small things through make me lose some faith in them, so please fix, thanks!

New Client. Why did you change the interface? The older one looked so much better in so many ways. It looked a lot simpler but was still visually impressive, the buttons were big so I could actually see what I was pressing on my iphone se, gameplay was incredibly snappy, when I press and hold a card it zoomed in so I could actually read it, the board was brighter and simpler so everything was easy to identify, and the animations were smooth. The new client is not smoother, animations are awkward and clunky, the board looks “too” fancy, everything looks more complicated, I can’t read the card descriptions cuz it’s so freaking small and I can’t zoom in, buttons got smaller, there’s so much lag now, lots of bugs and glitches, gameplay is a LOT slower because the animations are so long now. Before, I could play the cards quickly, but now I have to wait for a card’s clunky animation to finish in order to play the next card. The only good thing about the new client is that things are a lot snappier when viewing my collection. Other than that, this was a horrible update. Please change all asthetics back to the original. The game lost it’s charm. Thanks for reading my rant.

Wonderful game for CCG lovers and fans of Elder Scrolls!. This is an excellent CCG. I have played CCG’s including MTG, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Eve and many others. I still have a massive MTG collection. I wish Legends had physical cards as the game and mechanics are awesome. The artwork is great and the game is rewarding to play. I have only spent a few dollars on in game purchases and do excellent in casual and ranked play. I earn enough gold coins completing daily quests and through winning games that I can “buy” all of the story missions with earned gold. I only spent money on one decent deck after a few weeks of play, and that was enough to get me started. I like free to play games as long as they let me earn most of the things I could spend real money on and it doesn’t feel like I have to grind to do it. Give this game a chance and you won’t be disappointed.

Great Elder Scrolls Card Game. Not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite online card game. It is very similar to Magic The Gathering. The forgotten hero story is fun, but we end up not having that many interesting fights (the bosses and most battles are fun but the assassins and bandits are pointless.) The Dark Brotherhood campaign vastly improves, but it is so over priced. I got ESO for less than I would pay for the Dark Brotherhood story line. So I ended up playing a ton of competitive to get the coins I need so I can buy the campaign for free. The actual competitive battling is almost perfect. Making decks and fighting others is so much fun! I do think they should add land to fight on, for example willpower would be Cyrodill, and intelligence would be High a Rock or the Summerset Isles.

Currently the best or second best card battler out there.. Great mechanics. Games take a little longer and require more attention than hearthstone (due to prophecy and ETB effects). So depending on what you are looking for, your opinion will be swayed. The biggest drawback for me is the tiered lengendary: normal or unique. It costs way too much dust to fill a deck with a play set of non unique lengendaries. Update: if I had consistent time to play, I would easily rank this as the best digital card game on the market (games are on average much longer than a HS game for me). The meta doesn’t go stale, and the developers put a lot of thought into mechanics and fun ways for players to engage in different play styles. Houses of Morrowind is so far excellent. Best of all, you really can get far via free to play, as they release a number of pre-con decks that you can get with gold earned via quests.

Devs need to learn bs isn't difficulty. I love card games but I always hate computer card games because the developers think bs is difficulty. Sorry but bs is bs spend more time on the ai and less time on the graphics that no one is impressed by after the first time. The solo match is one of the best parts of the game but to make up for bad ai. They use bs. So your gonna beat the computer. Oh well I just too decked the three cards I need to stop you. Does it happen in real life yes. Does it happen as much as when your playing this game. Not even close. Oh your winning too much. Then your gonna get every high cost card you can cast and put up against a speed deck. If you can put up with this maybe it'll be fun for you. I on the other hand don't believe bs is a win sorry devs. Also in the regular match same thing happens you are getting close to leveling or you won too many times in a row. Guess what massive fail for your deck. Also too many broken cards that you can only buy. So you get demolished by them speed deck. 2 for a 4/4 whatever. Then somehow the person gets to have two out by turn three. Yeah like you aren't being forced to loose there. Just ended up deleting the game. Waste of time.

Try harder. This one thinks Bethesda could do better. They could come up with something that's not a knock off of every card game app out there, yes this game has amazing art, and clearly took a while to put this together, but that's all they did, piece together other games and fed it Elder scrolls lore, and put it together. There's no ground up feeling there was in Bethesda's fallout shelter. This is just like every other card game, but played off the style of Magic: the gathering system. Though it sounds like I'm complaining I'm a huge fan of the work Bethesda does and I plan on playing this game through and through for the credibility, but anyone who isn't already part of the elder scrolls community I see them having a few problems with being as hooked as I was. In the first 30 seconds I was playing his game I ran for my charger because I knew I was going to be addicted, playing for a few hours. I hope to see this game adapt and change as it grows but being that it already appears to copy most other card games I have little hopes it can grow much more.

Invade. They ruined this game back,I guess it was, around Christmas 2019 with the ridiculous invade update. The game was, at one point, interesting and complex. Strategy was the name of the game as a vast variety of decks were being deployed and mastered by intelligent inventive players. Since the update all that you encounter is invade decks. Now I’m in no way complaining as I, remain Legendary every month and, dispatch these thoughtless skill less players with ease but its boring and monotonous to do so. The depth of this game should be taken advantage of by all players but I ask to much of mindless zombies. Every month I finish Legend and it is with a different deck I use and tweak the entire month. My mind could not take doing the same thing every match as the invaders do. I still have yet to complete the invade daily quest and it can not be replaced so I only get 2 a day lol. Furthermore I soul trapped all invade cards and continue to do so every time I get one. Game is great when you run into a fresh take on a deck but to see red, white, blue every other match is very disheartening.

Great game terrible connection. I’ve been forfeited many many times in the arena play that costs the scroll or 150 coin. The game will dashboard me back to my Home Screen and it will not let me back in to finish the matches until I’ve forfeited. I feel shorted. I’ve checked my storage settings and even deleted numerous items to better the situation. The most aggravating part is when I’m playing casually with friend it lets me back in the same game no turns missed anything. But when I use the scroll it doesn’t allow me to come back in, this is becoming a serious problem as more than half of my attempts at the arena have been forfeited predestined to me. Obviously connection issues will be the first problem solving step, so before you go there know that I have at&t fiber optic, 4g LTE iPhone, and every other pvp game or connection based multiplayer works with no interruptions except some piddly maintenance times. If this wasn’t a problem and the game was less pay to play (having access to more storylines or cards without paying for it) this would be a top tier card game.

Too frustrating. As a new player, trying to figure out how to navigate this game when doing something like setting up a new deck, is just too frustrating. I deleted the app. When trying to set up the deck for the first time, all these pop up instructions come up and you can’t get rid of them or figure out how to set up your deck. I ended up accidentally deleting a deck and not even having enough cards to play with because I was trying to get the pop up instruction to move so that I could edit my deck and nothing on the page was working right. In fact, I couldn’t move the pop up instruction, it was in the way of reading some of the cards. I couldn’t figure out how to look at all of the cards because there was no way to flip through them so that I could choose the ones I wanted. If there was an over arrow to do this, I couldn’t get to it because of the pop up instruction. Game designers need to have a better idea for levels of frustration for new players when trying to set up or navigate the set up for the game and no new player should be able to delete their deck so they can’t play by accident in a way that they can’t be recovered. Some people pay for these decks. There should always be a way to recover them. I am just not going to play. It isn’t worth the headache.

Great game, requires good WiFi. I picked up this game on my phone to play casually, and I really enjoyed the single player campaign and deck building. I found it tough but fair, a good difficulty balance. The only problem I have, and this problem is enough for me to only give 3 stars, is that the game requires a constant internet connection. My WiFi is kinda spotty so depending on where I am in my house I will just get kicked out every 2 minutes to every 30 minutes. Is this really necessary? It gets really annoying when I am trying to craft a deck... get about half way through then a disconnect error forces me to start over again and again. Is a constant connection needed during deck building or single player games? Anyway if your internet is better then my potato internet you should try this out it is a lot of fun.

Do you like MTG?. Pretty similar, but card archetypes limited to 2 per deck (Don't know yet if dual typed cards let you use types outside deck construct). For a card game, story mode works amazingly as a tutorial/practice gauntlet. If you do pick this up, finish story mode to level cards (each level up lets you evolve specific cards tied to that level and they remain the same magicka cost while gaining or losing effects) as well as get free cards from story decks you can use in a custom deck. Only downside is that at 50 card mininum for decks, I REALLY need to rely on the heart of the cards to get me out of certain situations. Runes and prophecies help a ton (when they proc with each other) since they give you cards at certain damage threshholds. Of course, with the variety of cards in the game, this is almost a non problem (the many AI's I've faced who constantly swarm both lanes can attest to this). All in all, a great game to scratch that Magic itch on mobile (Talking to you Duels)

Regrettable last update, hoping game can be improved in promised future patches.... Bethesda moved this beloved game to a new client/platform, and in so doing infuriated the vast majority of the games long-term players/fans. Prior to the last update, this was easily the BEST game of its class that I have EVER played. Unfortunately the new client/platform (Sparkypants) was not able to capture any of the aesthetic quality of the prior version. Bethesda has acknowledged the negative feedback they have received for this update in online forums, and has promised to address SOME of the issues in future patches to correct bugs and glitches. It’s unfortunate that this happened, and many of the old version players/fans have left or are threatening to leave the game. Out of intense love for the old (Direwolf) version, I’m going to keep the game on my iPad and hope/pray that Bethesda can get this game “back on track”, and restore some of their “lost glory” in future patches/updates. 😥

Very good, but flawed. TESO: Legends is a very good game, very time consuming and a little tricky to get the hang of. The gameplay is fun and is very reminiscent of Card games such as MTG and little bit of hearthstone. The cards are super awesome and any of you who have play TESO: 3 Morrwind all the way to Online will see MANY references to previous games, he’ll you can even get some key characters from the aforementioned games as cards to play, Cicero, Vivec and Aela to name a few. Some pointers: Play through the main campaign! It will get you cards you will need to start out and will teach you how to play the game. Save soul gems, they will let you craft the legendary you want or maybe 2-3 epics that you want. Try not to focus on more than 1-2 decks your first couple hours of play, figure out what play style you have and stick to that. Complaints: this game HEAVILY relies on in app purchases, everything from $20 for the dark brother hood or clockwork city storylines to booster packs. The game is buggy but that’s to be expected as it’s fairly new, the morrowind House card backs are glitched and I have yet to receive 2 of the ones I have unlocked. Other than that this game is worth the time and maybe the money if you’re willing or capable to put either of those things into it.

I love it! But please read!!. I love the art! The gameplay! The characters! Better than any card game! But all I ask of you, is to make this a physical card game!!! Or just get somebody else to make it and you claim the money!!! We all are begging for it! Go look at the discussions that are happening online! You could have your game played at tournaments!! I believe that it would also earn you extra money!!! Bethesda please!! I’m not trying to rush you to do what I’m asking! But at least try to do it later on or after you finish the elder scrolls blades! It could also be for collecting the cards! And please, if you do make this, make it playable. That’s what makes a card game, a card game! Please reply and tell me if you will!!!

Broken game. This used to be a great game. I used to play it every single day. For hours on end and into the night. After the Sparkpants update, many problems arose that I never had in the past. For one, you have to open the app after you “update” it from the AppStore, and let it “update” again? So, instead of the app completely updating in the background before, now you have to watch a loading screen for sometimes half an hour. And holy crap, if it gets interrupted for any reason whatsoever you have to start all over again. I guess hope no one tries to call you or text while you are doing it. Seems like a step into the past. The graphics are wonky now, they were fine before. Everything is jumpy and not fluid. I guess the only selling point for the upgrade is that it “takes up less space” on your phone now. But, if the lame backwards updates keep coming, it will end up taking zero space on my phone. I’ve just been logging in and collecting my rewards for each day, but until they get it fixed I see the game as unplayable. If they could go back to the way things were before SparkPants, I would play the game like I did before. I feel kind of ripped off, as I have quite a bit of real money tied up in this game. Maybe they will fix it, or maybe they will just let it die.

Skyrim. I like this game a lot. However, it is a fixed deck game, you are either going to win or lose depending on whether you are supposed to win or not. If your the type of person whose ego can’t handle losing you don’t want this game. The game will allow you to win or lose depending on how many times you have won or lost consecutively. So if you’ve won three games in a row, you’re going to lose five before you win again. Even if you’re playing someone who is a lower level than you, with a weaker deck, you won’t get a playable card until the fourth, maybe fifth round. By then it’s to late to have a chance to win. You can try to use a speed deck, but they’ll just get the exact cards they need at the most opportune moments, it’s very frustrating! It is a great game, though if you’re just trying to pass the time, and it looks great!

The Game itself is great but…. It does have a few flaws, the fact that I must buy any extra story is rather annoying and some bosses in the story mode have more than 3 copies of some cards. Another thing which is most annoying idle the fact that I keep getting asked to sign up for an elder scrolls account rather than not being given an option to sign in. Understandably more story can be earned via bought with 1k coins earned but it could be lowered a bit for those; such as myself, who are interested in both story and gameplay. Still, the game mechanics are great, some cards are flawed like the final bosses’s 2 cost card which does 10 damage to any creature. That’s just overall ridiculous. At least make it cost five or four.

Expectations way too high. This game is really good, like probably the best CCG on mobile right now. When Sparkypants took over from Direwolf, there was like a week where the game was more buggy than normal. The audience of this game had way too high of expectations when the developers switched over. Most of the recent bad reviews are coming from players who had their feelings hurt because it wasn’t a perfect transition. Sure some things could be better, and I wish they hadn’t removed twitch drops, but I’m sure if you give Sparkypants time, they will continue to improve the game. I think the new interface is great and the game is much faster. Don’t listen to the impatient community that complained about the transition, try the game for yourself.

Awesomesauce. For everyone saying ‘it’s rigged’ or ‘you can’t win unless you dump money into it’ blah blah that’s rubbish. I haven’t spent a dime and can hit legend rank on the ladder any time I want. I’ve kept up with all the updates and have 90% of all the cards. Just grind arena and casual for gold and buy the updates. Buy all the pre-made decks with gold, too. IMO this is one of the most fair games for FTP vs PTW of all time. Have to say this game is the best phone game I’ve ever played hands-down. It’s incredibly FTP friendly, no ads, great solid game, fun and intense to play. I try to get all my friends to download it so we can fight in friend matches. If you like card games and don’t want to have to deal with binders full of cards years down the line, DOWNLOAD this game. You won’t have to spend a dime and eventually you’ll be at the same level as all the other players once you collect a bunch of cards. Deserves 5 stars all day — I rated 4 because I’m hoping Bethesda sees this and fixes The Crypt Raider title bug. I’ve beaten Alisanne at the Night Mother’s Crypt on normal and hard difficulties multiple times..still no title T.T HELP!! Warning — playing this game may cause you to want to buy an Xbox to play Skyrim on it lololol

Way too much of a grind.. I like this game’s mechanics. It’s a pretty fun card game that requires strategy. However, it is a painfully slow process to get new cards. 6 cards cost 100 gold. You get 15 coins per level up and per every 3 victories. You also get a SINGLE card for each of those as well. And that card can be a repeat of something you already have. Story mode was a reliable method, but once you finish it (and the challenges) progress grinds to a slow trickle at best. You can buy more campaigns and challenges... but it cost 3000 coins for a full set (acts 1, 2, and 3 are 1000 each). Challenges are 1500 per set. Again you get money agonizingly slow in this game. There are daily quests too but the most I’ve gotten is 60 coins. Arenas are a solid option, BUT you need tickets to play them. The game gives you some, but you will run out leaving you going back to the slow grind. Now comes my biggest problem.... the micro transactions. Everything that is hard to unlock can be bought. Of course it can. And with how tedious it is to unlock these things in game, I can only conclude they WANT you to buy them. Not to mention that you can simply buy themed decks that have cards that would normally be difficult to get otherwise. They want your money. This is a fun game that has unfortunately been reduced to a greedy cash grab. I am very disappointed.

Sad day. This game was one of my favorite games to play on my 6+ . Ran so smooth and never had a single problem whatsoever. After their huge update, with no option to stay with the old system. There’s been nothing but problems... even with all their recent updates. I don’t know why they don’t leave an option to stick with the old graphics. My phone can barely run the game now. It ALWAYS lags and freezes. I had to write this review after losing another ranked match due to these freezes. It’s pretty frustrating to experience right before winning a ranked game... I don’t know what they were thinking, especially since the older version ran flawlessly. I like this game, so I’m going to buy a newer phone... hopefully it’ll run with no problems. Overall, a flawless game is now filled with choppy overly animated gameplay, that is full of lag and game stopping freezes... I hope this type of bs isn’t done to fallout 76... please fix and allow an option to stay with the old flawless version of the game. Thanks.

Definitely worth it. It's worth a download and a play. The story is very fun, the cards are entertaining and the builds are understandable. It's easy to branch off and build your own thing. Any Elder Scrolls fan will enjoy the art and references. But seriously, a LOT of it is just a rip of Hearthstone. BUT, it's like Hearthstone 2.0 Your magic doesn't cap at 10, you get to keep building it which makes mana gain decks way more worthwhile. Prophecies are an interesting addition. The person going second gets to use a one man's boost once per turn THREE times instead of one, it's insane. The introduction of lanes stops the issue of one creature with taunt ruining everything. Does the enemy creature have taunt? Then use the other lane, he can't block there. I'm mainly giving this a four because the gold gain is slow and the items are priced pretty high. Quests can be tough and make it much harder to get your gold per day. It's not very properly balanced as yet but I have hope for it

Bethesda should be ashamed of this game!!!. If I could give this game negative stars I would. I’ve played a few other card games like this on my phone and this is the absolute worse. The mechanics for shuffling and drawing cards is a piece of junk. At the start of every game you get to chance to throw back and redraw any or all of the the starting cards and I’ve literally watched myself redraw all of the same ones after choosing to redraw all three. It doesn’t seem to actually shuffle any decks before a fight. Some fights I get the same card almost back to back. Most pvp games feel like the someone’s deck was stack to make sure they one. Sometimes this is you and sometimes this is your opponent. They say you can only have 3 of one card in each deck but I’ve watched the computer and other players draw a card 4 or more times without playing some type of spell card to draw from the graveyard. The story lines themselves are good but all the computer fights have their decks stacked perfectly. I regret ever downloading this game and I’m just thankful I didn’t spend money on it. Bethesda really screwed up with this one!!!

Literally the best mobile card game out there. Now I’ve player several different kinds of games that are very similar to Elder scrolls legends, but none of them have cards that are as fun to use as the ones found in legends. Want to play as a mage based character and play spell cards only? You can do that. How about using an entire deck full of Daedra from the plane of oblivion. You can do that. Also the sound effects are awesome as well as the graphics. It is truly a better looking game graphics wise than any other collectable card game out there in my opinion. Great game to play with friends too, I’ve managed to get multiple of my close friends to fall in love with this game just as I have and it didnt take any convincing at all. I’d rate this game 5/5 stars. Truly awesome game.

Good game however there are a few flaws. So far I think the game is awesome, great game play and diverse cards makes it very addicting to play. It reminds me in a sense of playing MTG. I love the nostalgia from all the cards and characters from the games. The love the ability to build your deck and how well cards play together to build a synergistic deck. The only thing is dislike and find to be quite bs is that the computer can use way more than 3 of a certain card. I’ve seen the same card played 6-8 different times in one battle, however we are only allowed to use a card 3 times. On top of that the computer always seems to get the right cards at the right time every time. I had a computer opponent down to 1 health and I was at 28, workin 3 turns he destroyed all of my creatures and due to the synergy of his deck, was able to get 8 creatures on the table and beat me. The computer just happened to get all the perfect cards.

Definitely Worth a Try. Im skeptical about card games but this one is honestly really fun. Ive also seen several 1-star reviews saying the game seems “loaded” like the opponent has the perfect card to play every time. THIS IS STRATEGY! You start with three cards. Each turn you gain one power to play stronger cards, and you draw one new card. Ive noticed the opponents will often skip the first two turns or so. While you play your weakest cards first and do minimal damage to them they are stockpiling an arsenal and a deep bench to play whatever they need when they need it. I also think they stock more “action” cards while I personally stock lots of monsters. You can customize your deck (with some minor limits) to fit your play-style. That said, one thing that really annoys me is that one opponent had cards that cost very little to play, but do alot of damage. Cards that I don’t have. Compared to my cards they cost about half AND do about double the damage. Keep in mind this was the final boss of the campaign, and its a given he should be hard. Took me about 7 tries to beat him. Frustrating but challenging too. My opinion is that this game is alot of fun and its worth giving it a shot. Myabe you’ll love it like I do.

Terrible Update. This game was amazing. I loved it. I still love it, but every time I play it now I’m gravely disappointed. This is because although the gameplay still works after the update which reworked the entire game, the rewards don’t. I practically never receive my daily rewards, even though I “claim” them, which means I’ve missed out on many card packs and special cards. Even the game rewards that I’m supposed to gain after each win are now mostly nonexistent. And there’s no consistency with this glitch. I win one match and I’ll get game rewards, try a new game, win, and no rewards. This means that my primary motivation for playing this game (earning rewards such as cards and card packs to upgrade my deck) has been taken away by the update. It’s a great game, despite the update, but I need my rewards! I need validation of my achievements!

I hope developers read this.. Dear developers, great game. I love this game. However, there are certain cards that make this game no longer fun. Case and point, Your legendary god cards are far too OP for fairness of play. Specifically, the Vivec card. I just got done with a match that I had a player at -25 health. I still lost because he had a single card that literally prevented him from loosing. In combination with Sothla sil, it was literally impossible to overcome, even though I had more life, more creatures, it didn’t matter what I through on the field. I have played a number of users with decks consisting of almost exclusively legendary cards. I have even played against a user who had multiple copies of the same legendary. Which means the mechanics on which you designed the game in the first place aren’t working. This is definitively imbalanced and unfair and highly and immensely frustrating. Please for the love of god and all that is holy. Fix this mechanic!

Free after about 3 months. A friendly reminder for anyone that wishes to play this game: daily quests (and titles) have ALWAYS been able to be completed by intentionally leaving purchase-able story missions incomplete; gold can be saved nearly indefinitely once you’ve unlocked ONE story chapter as long as you manage to keep at least one mission open for doing so. Some are MUCH easier to farm this way than others. I recommend buying (with gold) the Clockwork City stories as the final mission of its part 3 gives you the best consistent conditions for doing most of the daily quests. Ironically, Clockwork City is the only one you’d want to complete on Master difficulty completely as it gives you an alternate art unique card from the Core set (unsure if Isles of Madness does anything). Another friendly reminder: you can get always get 300 soul gems per day through practice games against AI; 5, 10, and 15 (unless 285+). That being said, it should still take about 3-4 months to get enough cards and event tickets to play with others outside of Vs. Arena for fun. It’ll still be a slugfest...but you should have enough cards for it to be fun. (Ahh never buy packs themselves)

Elder Scrolls Period. Let me start off by saying that I have been a die hard Elder Scrolls fan since I was the age of 9. My first Elder Scrolls game was Morrowind, and it by no means was the last Elder Scrolls game for me. When I heard about TES: Legends releasing my heart raced with happiness. After playing TES: Legends I absolutely fell in love with the game. The only con I see in this game is the fact that it is similar to Hearthstone, mind you I am a huge fan of Blizzard as well. It's not necessarily a con depending on how you look at it. Both games have their own specific features that makes them both unique. Moral of the story is that this game has hours of fun and takes tons of strategy like most card games. The Elder Scrolls will always be my number 1 game series, and I have yet to have a negative experience with an Elder Scrolls game.

May not run on older mobile devices as the old client did.... I’m a longtime fan of ESL and have been playing it for quite some time now. Sadly, with the introduction of Sparkypants’ new client, ESL no longer runs seamlessly on my phone like it used to before the client switchover, quite the opposite actually. This 2-Star review is specifically for the mobile app version, as I’m still a fan of the game. I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus, which I do understand is dated for today’s industry standards, since the majority swap out their phones yearly or every other year (I’ll be replacing this one soon, but I fail to see the need to switch phones as often as most do). My phone now severely struggles to run the game client, and the lag makes it near unplayable unfortunately. This wouldn’t irk me much, as an understand the limitations of the older technology (I work in IT), but for the fact that it worked so well before the client was rewritten. It seems that the new client has a much heavier footprint in terms of what it demands of local system resources and GPU processing. I still play ESL on PC from them to time, but I loved the portability of being able to play it on mobile when I was out and had downtime to kill. It saddens me that Sparkpants disregarded support of semi-older mobile devices when they rewrote this game.

NYC Subway offline mode. Everything ended up turning out quite alright for this game. I live in New York the city that never sleeps and have a much needed feature. I spend a lot of time underground in the subway traveling to work, the gym, and home and even during breaks at work I’m underground, so if there was an offline practice mode available, that would be all that was needed to make this game available to every type of player. It would make perfect sense to make practice mode offline available, it’s totally posible too. I hope to see this available in the new year, since getting online to compete against others is very difficult wit working busy players always on the move.

Doesn't Load. I'd love to find out if the game is worth more than one star but I guess I'll never know as the game doesn't load. You click on "I'm new" at the title screen, agree to the EULA...and then you're back at the title screen again and it's asking you to sign in or click "I'm new". Back to the EULA, then the title screen, I'm new, EULA, title screen, I'm new... You get the idea.

Files wont download. Instead of putting all files in the innitial download you have to download them in app, which is 1000x slower and just wont load at all. So far my experience has been endless downloading screen for 30 minutes to the point where i couldnt even be bothered anymore

Customer service useless.. Since client update stuck on account linking failed. Customer service sent me a single pre-manufactured response that simply listed things I had already attempted and communicated through. I’ve attempted reply and been completely ignored. Grossly disappointed.

It’s just a money grab. Stupid money grab game, fist act of story mode is free but then if you want the other 3 acts you have to pay $100 or play against more experience players with more powerful cards and get 9000 gold to unlock all acts. For reference the only way you get gold is by leveling up which is slow or you get 15 gold every time you win 3 ranked matches....

Why so many updates?!!. It's a good game but it seems like every week there is a new update and you can't play it if it's not updated. I don't have enough space for this!

12 max magicka. Unless I have a deck that has a boost your max magicka card in it it won’t go past 12 please fix this

My favourite game now on my phone!. Highly addictive game, set in a world I've loved for years. Can't get enough of this stuff. For the haters that claim that this is pay to win, I can categorically refute this. The ONLY thing cash will do in this game (at the time of writing this, November 2017) is get you some premium art cards (which play the same as the regular versions of the same cards) and accelerate your collection somewhat. Everything else can be purchased with in game currency, earned through winning matches over time, and there are casual and ranked player pools which make this easier to achieve. You still need to play well to win though! As a free player, I have 95% of the available cards, which has enabled me to build pretty much any of the popular and fun deck archetypes. In that respect, I think this game is really accessible.

Update has ruined this game. I too will add to the chorus of reviews that are condemning this update. I used to love this game until these recent updates. At first the game mechanics became slow and inconsistent and now the latest update won’t load at all. It gets stuck loading asset 163. I also hate the new look of the game. The cards and general look of the game were perfectly good the way they were. I don’t like the new look at all. I’m afraid this game has been ruined for me.

9/10. Pretty good, would recommend~ some random internet guy

Can’t play after update. Great game and story line, i ventured from hearthstone myself and I really appreciate this genre of play style..that is until the recent update didn’t allow me to log into the game as it was just stuck at ‘updating’ during the title screen. Waited for over 10 minutes with zero progress, guess that’s the end of my journey with Elder scrolls Legends

A lot of fun, needs some tweaks. Since I play Magic and a bit of HearthStone, this game was easy to get into. I am still playing through the story mode and have not played against humans yet. I think this game is a lot of fun but has some issues. - It's so very similar to HearthStone. The gameplay is great but I couldn't help but I wince at seeing the similarities. I guess HearthStone has simply set a new standard for mobile electronic CCGs. - Help is not available everywhere. For example: there are places in the game where a touch is a decision (choose to get this card or that card) and no long press is available to give you details about the card. - Memory must really be an issue... As almost every time I switch to another app on my iPad Pro 12 inch, I am disconnected and the game reloads. Worse is that single player battles are not saved and restored when this happens during one. - Going first seems like a real punishment. I would rather go second in every single game and get a ring I can use three times for a free point of mana.. sorry magicka. :) - I am glad to see other reviewers say this is not pay to win, because there are too many competing electronic CCGs I enjoy and honestly I don't see myself dropping cash on this one. Yet...

Superb game.. This is a superbly designed and crafted game with amazing graphics and gameplay. I play it everyday. It has seemingly infinite permutations of plays and keeps you involved because winning or losing is near always unpredictable.

Frequent Crashes. I have been playing for 20 minutes and I’m hooked, the only issue, it crashes 4 times in that 20 minutes. This frequent crashing for one reason or another in reserving the game unplayable as it crashes during matches.

Great until they updated. I have loved the Elder Scrolls for years. I have played on multiple platforms and thought this game would be a welcome addition for times I travel and am away from home. But it seems not. Had some trouble downloading the data first time around but got it working. Then they update and again the same issues however this time it didn’t work. Did some research and it happens that this issue isn’t new or even uncommon. Pity cos it could be good but with no reply to my ticket and enquiry I am now forced to deduce that just so long as it mostly works that’s fine. Going to find something that works or at least a game I can get a reply to from the devs.

I prefer this to Hearthstone. I played Hearthstone for years but this has taken over. Prophecy cards really make a difference.

Better than expected!. When I initially downloaded this game I wasn't expecting it to be so engaging. I have played this many times and continue to without becoming bored with it. By changing my characters race I can approach the challenges from a different perspective giving me an opportunity to succeed. I have also found it possible to progress without spending much. Overall a game that challenges without driving you to bankruptcy!

Crashes constantly. Terrible updates in the last few months results in constant crashes. If you want to experience more crashes than a crash test dummy then this is the game to waste your money on

Good story play, pretty good update (2.11). Story mode offers some fun gameplay and if you're interested in additional ES lore and world building Hungers for your battery life (very big drainer) Version 2.15.1 Some UI/display issues (i.e. main menu background image overriding UI) fixed, but still can be induced (generally due to game lag between loot reward and menu selection) Other than that, same-same overall Would be nice to get some additional stuff for story mode sometime soon Overall Crashes roughly every 3-4 matches. Needs to improve reload time (so people don't wait for others to log back in during and match, and for those logging back into a match to make their moves before the timer runs out)

Legends. It's a great little card game and I really enjoy it. But since you have put in the latest update it doesn't work at all. What a stupid update. The game was working beautiful then stopped. Can u please fix ASAP. Daniel

Back of cards. Ok so I’ve been watching other players using fancy back of deck decorations and I must admit it looks good and a little bit of deck envy creeps in. Trying hard to resist the urge to burn real cash on pointless decorations. Please don’t make a Stormcloak/Nord deck theme. Wouldn’t want Ulfric to shout the wallet out of my pocket.

Game doesn’t load anymore. I have played and loved this game for a year and a half, and even despite the bugs when ever a new update comes out ( unable to load the game for a few days after ever new update ) it has been worth it. But since the dire wolf logo has been replaced by sparkypants, the game doesn’t even get past the title screen . It’s been nearly a week now, and although I won’t delete it just yet , I’ll keep trying to log in for another week or so at different times. I guess I’ll have to face the fact soon the that it was great when it worked, but that’s over now. Time to hunt for a new game.

Last update ruined the fun. I loved this app but since the latest update I can not load the game, when I bring up the app, it says loading assets and it never does. I haven’t been able to play it since the update, I’m not happy at all considering I made in game purchases

Can’t log in. I didn’t know I already had a Bethesda account and so chose the option to make one later, wanting to jump right into the game. When I went to make an account I was told I have an account with the email I typed in but nowhere can I find the option to log into that account.

Fun game. Good learning curve and the ranked play allows you to play against people at a similar skill level. However since the most recent update the game won't load past 5/678 when updating game assets on my iPhone 7.

iOS update issues?. Since a recent update I’m no longer able to log-in, game opens and “updates - 1 of 187” update files and never progresses beyond file 1 of 187 (regardless of what network or connection I’m on). Really disappointing, especially for a game that I did spend some $ on.

Didn’t make it out of the tutorial. The download took forever and then I was greeted with uninspired gameplay, little story telling and clunky animations. The tutorial treats a player like they’re an idiot. Deleted the app before I even finished the tutorial as I was so disappointed by it all.

Great game when it’s not crashing. Game play is awesome. If you know Fairia then you’ll recognise the game template. And that’s not a criticism. Problem is that it plays well for 10 minutes, then gets glitchy, then crashes. Unless your in PvP mode in which case it just starts glitchy and then crashes immediately after the round ends, and before the prizes are awarded. EVERY. TIME. Very frustrating, and very much a deal breaker. Oh, and as mentioned by others, if you already have an existing Bethesda account, there is no way to use it. You have to create a new account with a new email address, because “your email address is already registered by another account”... I wonder who?!... /s

Amazing card game. If you're into collectible card games at all make sure you check this out and also play the desktop version. Beautifully designed, very well balanced, immersive and very generous with rewards. Must play.

This game needs improving. I love the game its great but in the middle of a match the game crashes i finish the match it always crashes after any match and 1000 coins for one act is a little too much it should be a bit more affordable but other then that great game if these issues are addressed and improved ill give a better rating and tell my friends to download this

Used to be good. Been playing for 2 years. This game not pay 2 win. Used to be good but developer don’t update or do server maintenance anymore.

What did you do??. The game was great, UNTIL the most recent update. The app keeps needing to ‘download assets’ and will not launch. We have done all the ‘delete the app and reinstall’, Power cycle devices etc, still can’t get it to launch. I’ve never left a poor review on a app before, but now I’ll be looking for a new game to occupy my spare time....

Worst New Client Rant. Since new client published, the game went downhill. Now I can’t even log on after new patch. UI is horrendous. Not a matter of just color palatte, but overall looking so cheap. Game is super choppy, card design terrible, even worst, low res on iOS. Better in my macbook. Not recommended. Bring back old client.

Legends - Heroes of Skyrim. This is a really good card game and unlike many other games you don't need to spend a lot of cash to be competitive or have fun. While some luck with card drops is involved, it is very much based on deck set up for combinations and smart use of when and where to use specific cards that can turn the game. Good strategy game for those who like to use their brain against other players. Highly recommend it.

Bethesda has Hearthstone if you have coin. A few minor connectivity issues, but overall solid experience. Definitely feels like a reskinned Hearthstone, but if it's fun I don't care.

IM STUCK. How do you complete Chapter 6 the hungry pack, The wolves abilities are way too hard to contend with (such as the ability of theirs were they basically multiply) I am enjoying the game but it would be better if I could actually progress, So please address this issue. Thanks

Awesome game but..... I love the Elder Scrolls series and was really excited to see this on the App Store but was really disappointed that there wasn’t an offline mode with the campaign😔. But none the less this is a great game and i recommend this game to anyone who loves Elder Scrolls and games like hearthstone and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Elder Scrolls Legends. Good game at start then a beautiful buggy mess game play is not fluid stalls and freezes on solo games sit for 10 minutes waiting for computer turn it’s frustrating too many bugs game play is slow and freezes could be a good game but the buggy mess ruins it if the devs don’t fix this don’t download it waste of time

Loading game assets 1 of 852.. New to the game and genre. But every time I go to try this game it has to load over 800+ game assets. Gets to over 100 and I lose time or interest. And of course upon going back it has to start at 1 again. If I finally get the patience to stick it out I might have a better review. Also game assets don’t load over WiFi. Took a bit of time to figure that out. Not the best first time experience for a new user. Oh, and the quick start of only loading 80 assets didn’t fulfill its promise, for me at least. I had to put phone down, came back and guess what. Loading asset 1 of 800+. Running out of patience...

After update, won't load assets :'(. I was playing regularly before the most recent update, but since then I can't get past the "updating assets" screen to even play! Along with all the other reviews critising the game since the update, I too find it slow, buggy as all he'll and frustrating to play!!!!

Review. Well I do like elder scroll games But I’m not really good at cards game I would like an option for game to build you a deck For you. Because I’m pretty sure my current deck is trash Other that I fine game quite enjoyable.

Terrible from the start. I didn’t even download the whole game before uninstalling. The app requires an unknown size download once it actually launches with a bit over 1000 files to download, which wouldn’t be a problem, however you can’t leave the app or there is a “problem downloading files”, forcing you to leave your phone useless downloading the game for 20mins-2 hours depending on Internet. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Menu screen is broken. The menu screen is broken where you can’t really see the buttons but otherwise it’s quite fun.

Nice game if I could play. I originally got it because I was looking for something to play on long trips and waits but soon found out that the tutorial is the only thing I can play due to a glitch were the game is stuck there loading with no way out aside from just not playing the game please fix

Game is broken. The game was great but the new update has killed it. There is lots of negative feedback about the new update but I can’t confirm it because the game will no longer work on my phone. The client is stuck Updating game assets. I

Elder Cash Grab Scrolls. So this is a card game slash really a huge cash grab for your wallet. Is it polished ? Yes. Did they work hard to make a pretty game? Sure. Is it fun? Meh..a bit. You wanna play this game though be prepared to spend some serious money ...like hundreds of dollars. Possibly thousands. Zenimax and Bethesda once used to be amazing and reputable creators in the gaming industry. Now not so much. Now after Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 and Todd Howard’s amazing lies and the whole gift bag fiasco....you would have thought they would have learned by now. It’s almost as if they just care about money ..oh wait, what ...sorry that’s all they care about. As a game dev and illustrator myself I am impressed with the guts of this game....yes. But as a human being with morals and principles...I shake my head at Bethesda. You guys want to right by your core fan base? Lower ...and I do mean drastically...the price of this game. Stop showing off with your bait and switch tactics like with your bags and nuke cola debacles and start earning an honest days wage. I don’t blame you little guys. The cogs in the wheels. I’ve been there before and I know what it’s like. My honest opinion? Fire Todd Howard .... and change your business model. Leave the price gauging to EA and the Chinese. Treat your fans better...

My game keeps disconnecting. When I first got it, it was fine but then my game started disconnecting randomly in the middle of battles and then I have to replay it again and again and again until i finally finished one battle. btw this game is pay to play so im just gonna uninstall

Please remove the “Powerful mage” from the solo arena. Its ridiculous how they start with 3 magicka AND the Ring of Magicka. Give me that in PvP and I daresay I would be winning a lot more games than I am right now.

Fantastic game. This is a great game. One month ago their contract with the app developer expired so they had to bring the games to a new platform: now the animations are clunky and there was a week or so where I literally couldn’t even play the game, but to people in future land reading this I fully recommend you try out this game. The first hour is just a tutorial, but the meta is diverse and the card and deck archetypes are interesting and don’t feel overpowered in any way.

Best Card Game. I have been playing card games for the past 5 years and Hearthstone was my all time favourite...until Elder Scrolls Legends came along, although the game has fairly basic ai they can can still formulate strategies as according to its given deck. I also love the class system and am deeply in love with the scout class I have played this game so much that I am level 50 and have not had to pay a single coin. That being said I reckon that this game is a lot more forgiving than others of its kind in the ways of resources. If you would like to be my friend on the Elder Scrolls my name is sickly_Pigeon

Fun game , update needs work. Although the game play and mechanics haven’t changed from the great game that it is, the latest update has not made the game better. The graphics although ‘updated’ do little to improve the feel of the game, and all the cards and buttons now appear smaller which make it more difficult to enjoy the cards artwork/see what they all do/ and interact smoothly. A real shame that this change of developers has lowered the enjoyment factor of the game with this ‘update’

Been playing since day one...still great =). Ive been playing the game since it’s origins and it’s by far the best made game for One vs One and their new arena battles have been enjoyable as well! I would recommend this game

Needs work. Everything is good about his game. Cards are balanced, you play to earn coins and use them to buy in-game things that you want. However the ranked play is broken. A lowest ranked player will face a high ranked player, the cards you get for the versus arena are unfair(you or your opponent get multiple legendary’s while the other gets none or just one), the game also crashes often at the worst moments. Those moments being on your turn when you need to make a play, making it force you to lose your turn or lose time for your turn

Why. Why is this game not working it won’t load. And keeps on saying an unknown error is appearing, can someone help me please

Challenging. Intense. Addictive.. This is one of those games that never feels like just a time waster. It is as challenging and rewarding as a console or pc game, and this is because of the insanely talented community of players who stick with it. You can spend real money on stuff if you want, but it isn’t necessary, and the game never bothers you with it. If you’re reading this, I hope you give it a crack. Perhaps we’ll cross blades. Until then, may you walk on warm sands.

Horrible. This game is depressingly embarrassing compared to the rest of elder scrolls. This game is comparable to fallout 76 which was also horrible hot garbo. Dont even waste your time with the disappointment. Lets hope bethesda makes good games again one day, if only money was such a lust in such a society with poverty and greed mixed in. That is what you get, Elder scrolls legends. Fy

Not working. iPad latest OS version not working. I wasted money on a deck hoping this is why is not working. Terrible experience. Not entertaining at all. How do I get a refund? I hope the entire app is not a spam.

Not working. The game won’t even load, crashes within a few seconds

Don’t waist your time unless you have a money sack to spend. Used to be a good game but now it’s a crap. Developers printing cards without any sense of balance. No new stories have been released for two years. Basically PvP battling. The game is actually dead and desperately trying to make some money. Laziness and greed.

Excellent game. I am max level. Fully free, multiple combinations, it never gets boring. Better than fallout 76. Worthy of Bethesda and by far my favourite mobile game. .. My only issue is with balance. Some card combos are insane and should be banned.

The game isn’t supported anymore. Don’t spend any money on this game.

Freeze. My game freeze and the app need to be opened again. Can’t log in until I loose because I can’t come back in the game... I play on a barely new ipad. Same thing with my iphone. Randomly crash when I am playing...

Game does not work.. Downloaded game. Doesn’t get passed loading screen. Don’t bother

Amusant mais.... Sympathique, simple, amusant. Le jeu plante quand certaines cartes sont jouées, et ce depuis plusieurs mises à jour.

Амхв. Мне нра

New interface= Lag. Don’t get me wrong, the game is amazing and fun. But recently with the new interface, it is unplayable with a phone and super laggy with a tablet. I used to play a couple game one my lunch break but now I am not evenly able to finish one game because it is so laggy and it froze after. They should add a option to tone down the visual so it could be more playable.

This game is unfair for beginners and no fun. I had decent cards when I last had this game downloaded and they aren’t in my collection now that I have downloaded it again but the rest of my progress is still saved. So I can’t rank up on the story mode without buying more story. Seems like the only way to have fun in this game is to spend money so you actually stand a chance against all the other try hards out there. Not impressed. Would be better if I had a way to rank up faster and get better cards without spending money.

Ignorance is bliss. If you’re new to the game and you might enjoy it, however for those who have played the game before the update the game is unplayable.

Very good game but has issues. I was addicted to this game at a point in time but now it seems to not load at all on my iPhone SE, it will just get stuck on the load screen and never load. Other than this issue I really like this game, very addictive and fun!

Disconnected non stop. Anytime I try to defeat the boss my game freeze and kick me to the main screen of my phone and when I try to reconnect to the game, she continue to freeze and kick me out of it. Je suis énormément déçu, car j’adore ce jeu et c’est le seul jeu de carte que je joue mais à cause de ce problème je perds vraiment tranquillement l’envi d’y jouer!!!! 😡

Bug. Cool game but constanly freeze on duel mode ....sad

Gros bug. GROS BUG il marche une fois sur 2 et j’ai un cell de l’année ( 2021 ) !!!

A nice challenge. One of the most strategic card game on mobile right now.

Sign in?. Bon.

Freeze. I like this game, played for long, but since the last update, it keeps freezing and quitting the app. Even when I try to come back to the game before I lose, it freezes again. Needs to be fixed.

Garbage.. Looking for a completely rigged game that’s literally programmed against you? Well congratulations you found it. Don’t even bother installing this unless you have hundreds of dollars to waste. Garbage story garbage cards the gameplay is horrible and it’s just another of the many money grabs made by Bethesda. Pathetic.

Use to work and be excellent card game. Now it crash.

Luck wins this game. This game is is won purely on the luck of the start of the game. Slow start and you will most likely lose. Very little actual skill involved. Too bad, I really wanted to like it.

Lit. The game is very fun, but it’s very laggy and slow. Also the new update is broken.

Delete. Couldn’t even get past the login page, tried selecting I’m new and agreed to terms but just kept bringing me right back to the same page

Error. Had high hopes only to be met with an error code every-time I start to log in.

Best Mobile Game. I hate mobile games. I’ve played this one nearly every single damn day since release because it’s so good. It’s free... So I gave them money because I wanted to. Can you say that about most good games?

Stacked AI. Mostly rigged to allow opponent to have far more cards and have unfair advantage , was excited for this game but I can’t get passed one opponent have tried more than a few times with several different types of decks, to frustrated to continue putting any time in to this game.

Most unbalanced card game you’ll ever play. Look I’m a fan of these types of game. But the idea of the game doesn’t make sense it doesn’t matter if you have more cards out or anything they can still hit you even if there people in the way and the only way to prevent that is you have a card that makes them have to attack that card and is the rarest thing to pull mid game and even if you do, if the opponent has more than one card out (which most likely does) on one lane it will die immediately and not to mention it is insanely expensive to place down these types of cards making it a waste, if your versing a bot they will never show you mercy especially if they go second so prepare to be absolutely overwhelmed with enemy cards and seeing your health bar go down a ridiculous amount. If your a masochist I say go for it and download it you’ll want to tear out your own hair by your third game out of pure frustration. The creators tried to make a magic the gathering like game and it’s almost there but I think the way to fix are the things they added to make it different the two lane systems doesn’t work and the cards are too unbalanced for you to have casual fun. Like there’s clearly some love that was put into this game but if you want a casual strategy card game in the fantasy genre just play magic the gathering on your phone it’s not worth the amount of frustration you get by playing this game

Decent Enough. The game itself is alright, it’s a decent time killer. But when I try to create an account with Bethesda I try to view the privacy policy and when I do the game crashes, and just won’t let me view the privacy page to let me read it before agreeing to the terms??? 🤔

More and more hearthstone. One hearthstone from Blizzard is not enough, people need hundreds more!

Mauvais..

Disconnects like crazy. Disconnects like crazy

Great game !!. I am addicted to it it just a really good game !

Disconnected. New update is working now. Game works well so far, extremely similar to competition

So much fun. Way better than hearthstone! I love the story mode to, tons of fun.

Stoler !. I paid 6,99 for the new member pack and the application stop to work i try everything install/desinstall reset Everything.. application just wont work . 😭

Addicted but needs improvements. Amazing game I’m max level 50 btw so I’ve been playing for awhile but there’s cards like the double drain card which is broken since It’s not unique at least and a few more but overall fun…

Your Influencer. Hello Bethesda I am interested in becoming an influencer and would like to get my car build sponsored reach out to me for details -Kevin

It was good. This was a pretty fun game. Then they updated and it randomly gets bogged down and laggy. Takes the fun out of playing. Deleted.

Can’t connect. New player can’t passe the first loading

Seems good at first. Game is horribly unbalanced. And one with a magic(blue) deck is pretty much invincible. Pay to win garbage. Don’t waste your time.

1 étoile. je trouve vraiment sa triste qu’il faut payer pour le reste de l’histoire...

Horrible customer support. I like the game and spent a bit off money on it. But customer support is horrible and turned me off this title and any future mobile games by zenimax

New download is horrible. Not sure why but the game always glitches and kicks you out of game and then you have to get back on before you lose your battle. It’s just not me either I hear from a lot of people about the same issue

Best mobile game out there. Obviously this is just my personal opinion. But this is by far one of the only mobile games that never gets old. I love the grinding to get crystals and gold to get new decks and cards. The only thing I’ll say is I wish we didn’t have to pay for the rest of the campaign. And at times when you’re against the bots either in the campaign or in practice mode it feels like you’re up against the hardest opponent ever lol. Like you’re only allowed to have 3 of the same card in one deck, and I swear sometimes the computer has more than just 3. But all around worth it to play. The pvp is great!

Why put a new platform if it doesn’t work!!!. I’ve had this app when it first came out, I was excited to see a card game that features my favorite game series. The game was smooth and fast but then they came out with a new platform. A single turn takes way too much time to load and I’ve lost multiple games due to “connection” when I’m connected to WiFi and have speeds that should be able to handle these kinds of graphics and animations. Please do something about this because I get frustrated and I feel like uninstalling my favorite game. It just doesn’t feel right.

This new release is terrible. These new cards added to the game are too op. What kind of nonsense is it to make a creature card that has an ability to exalt itself in order for the player playing the card not lose the game no matter how low life points are. This wax and wane ability is stupid and flawed. The game released pre made decks that allow people to just play them and go far in ranked play. This is nonsense. If you’re going to release decks that are made to win in high ranked play then what’s the point of building a deck? This update ruined the game and made cards too op.

Complete mess after update. I really did love this game, but after Bethesda decided to drop Dire Wolf in favor of Sparkypants as the developer, the so called “refresh” of the game became a complete downgrade. The game now drains my battery extremely fast and my phone gets hot. The game is slow and laggy. Constant crashes. Animations choppy. Daily rewards and quests may not give you an award upon completion, and that’s if the quest even shows up in the first place. Many cards abilities just don’t work now. Text on cards is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. I could go on. The only reason I’m not giving this 1 star is because the core mechanics of the game are still there. It’s just that this update took a beautiful game that had little to no problems aside from maybe a few card balances, and completely made trash out of it.

Last update is buggy. I have been playing since shortly after beta release. I love the lore and the gameplay. I was so excited with the new clockwork city update that I went out of my budget and bought the $20 story campaign. I have had 3 separate occasions where I finish matches and then the game locks up, erasing my win. Also constant crashes and log in problems. Very disappointed. I am a huge fan of Bethesda, owning all the elder scrolls games on PC. I hope they fix the issues, I have never been disappointed with a Bethesda game and the many hours of free play have been great, but I can't enjoy playing a game that is causing this much frustration and causing me to have to replay hard matches I have already won. So unfortunately, 3 stars.

Love the game, but.... I truly do love to play this game. This is similar but still way different to Gwent and I love that. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because every single story mode match that I complete or fail, crashes the app and I have to reload into it. VERY annoying. Sometimes crashes trying to open a card pack or right after opening the card pack before revealing the cards. Then you have to look through all your cards to see which ones are new to see what you got. It hasn’t ever ripped me off yet, always remembers where I was in story or the cards unlocked through opening the crashed packs but still very annoying. Other than that I love this game.

Really good but has the same failings as the others. I was an avid hearthstone and faeria player. I left the former because it was too random, and the latter because they put too much power in a neutral color. TES:L has an enjoyable story mode, a lot of viable deck options and decent balancing. It has a blessing and a curse in the rune/prophecy mechanic which should not be allowed to trigger on offense and should always add to the cost of a card. There are some problem cards like unstoppable rage which produces an effect far beyond the scope of other cards. Needs more balancing to help keep cards from being auto-includes, and more effective low-level removal to keep aggro decks from running rampant.

Want Direwolf Back. Sparky pants, what were you thinking? Have you played on your update? It's so dark that it's almost unplayable from that alone. No one asked for smaller cards, there were already enough occasional miss clicks and taps. The frames take away from cards being legendary additionally it's hard to tell if a creature has guard it not. The animations of cards fighting is unnecessary and cartoonish, much like how all of the numbers are bigger and every single animation you redid as well as implemented. If you don't undo this crap and name the game playable and enjoyable- like it was before you all took over, a lot of people are not only going to leave this game, but also give you such a bad reputation for this it's not even funny. Maybe you think your primary audience is a bunch of kids on tablets, it's not. Maybe you think then you get most of your micro transactions from teenagers that think death, skulls, and darkness is cool- you don't, they don't. Stop your cartoony, gothic, nonsense and actually let us see what's on the board when we're playing. If we wanted it dark so bad, we'd turn our own brightness down.

Cheating is abundant in this game!. When you face your computer opponents you need to watch every action they play because sometimes they do things that cheat and that their deck doesn’t support. They should have an option to report cheating npc and players and end the match giving you rewards for not cheating. Also during both ranked play and story your opponent can take as long as they want to choose it’s cards but if you are busy still looking at cards with points to spend many times the game auto clicks the arrow without your permission and skips your turn completely which is also cheating. I was winning many battles and while I was busy choosing my cards to play with around 8-10 cards in my hand(full hand) they just started the opponents turn and wasted my remaining magica that I had to still play more cards. If thats a bug they should fix it if it’s cheating it should be reported and if it’s a mechanic they should remove it because it’s unfair to the player making the challenge that the opponents can take forever bit if you do your turn gets skipped.... biggest cheat ever! Until this is fixed or changed I give this game application 1 star for being playable thats it!

Something to Add. This game is really fun to play and one of my favorite mobile games ever. There is just a couple of things I would like to be added. The only issue I have is that you need internet to play at all. It would be awesome if you could access the story mode and player v AI versus without internet. The last thing I would like to see is a mode where you could create a LAN party and let players borrow each other cards to duel against. I’m soon going to be headed out where I won’t have access to internet for months at a time so this feature would be awesome to have. Hopefully you read and consider this.

Beautiful card game, always fun to play. I have no idea why people are complaining about the AI and how the game is “made for you to win.” Yes, in the beginning it is set up for you to beat the computer, but you will go on to build your collection and knowledge of the game and be able to battle other players in the arena. Practice battles also pose as more of a challenge (depending on the difficulty and your skill level). Solo Arena is AI but is still a blast and can be challenging at times. Anyway, the graphics are very familiar if you have ever played Magic: the Gathering, and the cards have great art and mechanics. I would definitely recommend this game.

Flawed. I admit the game was fun at first but the card distribution is terrible, and NOT random. Too many times all my high cards come out against a speed deck and I am finished before I even start. I am routinely punished by “unlucky” draws of cards which statistically there is zero chance for my cards to come out like that. The developers have it built in for you to lose, get frustrated, and hopefully buy premium cards to compete...or keep losing. I have put hours into this game and built up a premium deck through in game play only to have all my high cards in my deck come out one after another time and time again. I took stats and probability in college and it’s statistically impossible for this to happen over and over again. Seriously, look elsewhere.

10/10. This game is great I have had it for about 2ish years and I have never got bored. It’s amazing and they keep adding new stuff so it doesn’t get repetitive. It also doesn’t take your money either which is nice. I haven’t spent a single dollar on this game and I have most of the cards. Thanks Bethesda Update: I am seeing everyone talking about how this game is a money trap in the comments. This is completely wrong and these people just need to get better at the game. Like I said earlier I have not spent a dime on this game and I have made it up to rank 2 (the best rank is 1). Get this game you won’t regret it

Update was unnecessary. The update has me wishing I never quit hearthstone. At least it runs smoothly on my phone. This update takes way too long to load up animations, cards, and makes it take so long I miss a turn or two while waiting. So many people have been complaining about it but nothing has been done. Even the new new update didn’t resolve the problem. I wish there was a way to revert back to how it used to be. If only we had an option of whether to stay with the update or revert back to the old version. I know the developers try, but with trying comes failing. And they completely failed on this one. EDIT: Ended up deleting the app. Not worth the headache of disconnecting because it’s trying to load all the animations and cards.

Decent TCG with too much locked behind paywalls. As someone who has played MTG, hearthstone & Pokémon TCGs for a lot of years, I was pretty familiar with the mechanics of this game going into it; most of which are lifted straight out of magic the gathering with a few name changes to avoid copyright infringement. This game is alright, but very, very unbalanced. Some cards are just straight up unfair, whether you are using them or they are being used against you. The worst part of this entire thing is that a lot of the content is locked behind paywalls. The events specifically require tickets, which are 0.99$ a piece. I might have missed it, but I could not find another way to acquire those tickets. There should be a way to grind for them, like most games allow. You are also required to buy every campaign beyond the first tutorial, which takes about 20 minutes to finish. With the paywalls in consideration, this game just isn’t worth playing currently. It’s a fairly mediocre TCG already, and the paywalls ruin what little there is that would be worth playing. Thanks again, Bethesda.

Fully functional version of the PC game. Started playing this game on PC and the game is fantastic. The game is certainly grindy as there are so many high level cards but Bethesda offers a lot of ways to gain resources. They offer Twitch drops, daily login bonuses and daily quests as ways to rack up resources. Not to mention a few excellent story modes that give you cards as bonuses. You are certainly in a better position if you spend money early on but that strategy becomes less effective after you accumulate all of the low end cards. The app version of the game works just as well as the PC version showing that they spent a lot of time creating this. Definitely worth checking out!

Awesome. Great game that is easy to pick up, impossible to master, and leaves you constantly tweeking your deck. Love the lore of Elder Scrolls so to have a complex card game to fill a void between console/computer time is nice. Loved the story and choice making, but to be honest after that your left to multiplayer and as with every multiplayer, the other player ruin it. I get tired of the constant taunting, slow players that take forever on there turn and overall all the unsportsmanlike moves and tactics, but if you enjoy Elder Scrolls and/or card games this is worth a try. To Bethesda if your reading, add a report system to weed out annoying gamers and please shorten the turn counter for the players that disconnect or rage quit.

My favorite game, BUT...... I am only giving this 4 stars because my favorite game decided to go offline for over 24 hours for an update that rebuilt the game from the ground up. Basically, they just changed graphics and added no new content, which is extremely disappointing, and the graphics and new design are not anything special. It was not worth the wait. Until they actually add new content to the game, this feels like a waste of over 25 hours of my time where I couldn’t play, for no real reason. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come because I LOVE this game and was excited to see where it can go next. Very disappointed.

For everyone saying it’s fixed deck for fixed game. You all need to learn to build better decks. I haven’t spend a dime on this game and I’ve built two decks that each have different mana skews and both decks win a decent amount. I can usually determine the weaknesses in my decks after a couple rounds and tweak them accordingly or overhaul them when I obtain lots of good new cards, and I’m constantly making my decks better. There are a lot of card options that allows for a good amount of different playing strategies, and figuring out good strategy with weak cards still got me far in the beginning. This is a super solid game, and you don’t need to spend any $$ to get good cards, just time and skill.

Best card game out there. this game is great the players you face don’t spam you with annoying emotes and are good sports. Also its possible to get legendary cards unlike other card games becuase there is a soul system that makes it so you can sacrifice cards when not in game in order to summon new and better ones making every card within your grasp(tip save up for dragon mound ITS GOD TEIR) I cant recommend this game enough and let me tell you when you enter one of those rare 1v1s that last half an hour you will never be happier

Had to uninstall because too good. If you love mobile card games and the elder scrolls universe then this game is what you’ve been looking for. Between ESO and legends, the cards are designed with great detail. Play a spindleclutch and you’ll hear the same sound as in ESO. The lore and each card match each other so well that a true fan of elder scrolls will absolutely appreciate. This game is no longer being supported, but that doesn’t mean it’s not active. It is still easy to find matches at any time in the day and well under a minute to match. Still worth your time if you’re a new player as every weekend there are live tournaments in game that reward nicely. Worth a download.

Fun game but slow as molasses. It’s a fun game but horribly unstable. Sometimes I can go a full game without it crashing or freezing but never two. I’m no developer or techno-genius but one sure thing that will ruin a game is if you can’t actually play it. As a long time Elder Scrolls fan it pains me to leave a bad review but holy crap it’s a nightmare; the moment your game starts to lag you have a 50/50 chance of it either crashing completely or freezing for two-three turns (which is devastating in a card game where every turn counts)

Overrated. This tcg is not as good as the positive ratings make it. Sure, it’s simple like hearthstone, but that just means it’s as boring as it too. There really isn’t much when it comes to strategy. Most decks are creature rush beat downs. The most fun I had was werewolves because they’re kind of a copy of the ones from mtg. The campaign is far better than hearthstones in my opinion, but for the most part, you either win hands down or loose in some of the chapters. Which is fine. Arena is terrible for the most part because there’s no free version of it. I’ve played a few matches of online play but it just didn’t hold my attention. I’m going to assume that, like hearthstone, if you have deep pockets you’ll do well. I’d avoid this and stay with duel links, fir anyone who’s reading.

It’s rigged. The shuffling of cards from your hand back into your deck is poor. Majority of the battles with people you’re either in a long war or the card distribution has you getting screwed because you’re getting cards that don’t pair with each other like they’re supposed to or you’re getting high cost cards all at once in the beginning while you’re opponent gets low cost cards or they’re drawing the exact cards they need to slaughter you in 5 turns. You put cards in your deck to work with each other a certain way but you rarely ever get them in an order needed for your deck to work the way it’s supposed to. I’ll get beat by decks that are actually worse than mine because they get perfect hands. What I mean by that is that they’ll get hands where they play cards to attack and then as soon as I start putting things down to count and attack myself they get the exact cards they need to destroy or silence anything I put down so that I can’t do anything but delay the inevitable. It’s not so much about skill, it’s more about how lucky you are with how the game gives you cards.

Fantastic alternative to Hearthstone. As a long time Hearthstone fan who just eventually got tired of it (and the incredible amount of rng bs), I figured I would try out this game after some friends introduced it to me. Despite being new it has an incredible amount of depth and so, so much potential. As others have said, it has beautiful graphics as well. I'm loving the different game mechanics and it has a lot of options for pve. Some people have said it's way too expensive but imo it's vastly more generous than Hearthstone ever was. Try it out!

Epic battles in the Elder Scrolls universe!. You've played similar games, but this one is brilliantly balanced to make each battle epic, thanks to: • Runes (the first time your health drops to 25, 20, 15, etc. you draw one card) • Lane effects (e.g. "shadow," in which creatures can't be attacked on their first turn in play) • Combat in which you choose the target for each attack (defending creatures with Guard must be attacked first, but otherwise you always have free choice among your opponent's creatures or attacking the opponent directly). It also features: • Lavishly illustrated card art. • Smooth & straightforward controls (both for play and deck building). • Multiple lengthy single-player quest storylines. • Arenas (single and multiplayer) in which to fight for rich rewards of gold and card packs. • A clever daily quest system that encourages deck experimentation. • And of course, a far-reaching and very faithful delve into the rich legends and lore of the Elder Scrolls universe.

My Cup of Ale.. After countless hours of playing Skyrim on my console I didn't think a silly app game would live up to the real thing. Was I wrong. This themed may have the same gameplay as others, but it has all the elements that make Skyrim great. Starting with the selection of your race with different benefits and emotes each, to stacking Shouts that debilitate your opponent. After getting through the short campaign you will be ready to enter the arena for Pelagius' entertainment or battle opponents in casual play. There are many formats to play, all with different rewards. If you have played Skyrim before you will appreciate the sounds of this game. These are legitimate console in-game sounds. From the roar of the Graybeards shouts, to the quotes of player emotes "Well met, marsh friend" will bring you back to Skyrim. Every Card has a unique sound, every time it's played. Now get this game and prepare your deck for battle. Stack up on guards, poisons, shouts, elixirs, dragons, weapons, actions or creatures. But beware when you face me, Miraak and I are waiting to enslave your best.

Awesome Game.. This game is addicting and it's very different than other card games. I like this game being mobile and so far I haven't had any issues. Plus you link your Bethesda account to twitch and get drops, i.e. epic/legendary cards, coins, gems etc. recommend tying this game out you will definitely have fun. I only wish I would've played when it first started. Update: I still enjoy the despite the issues with the cards and the game lag. I will not play as much (will login for the daily prizes) due to the changes and almost nonexistent twitch drops which were nice. The graphics are still great but all the bells and whistles that were updated slow down the game I think. I will still give 4 stars.

Perfect. I must say ESL has kept me interested as a competitive player from day one. It also delivers a great deal on the elder scrolls lore creating a cool atmosphere. The game is great in that it’s offers you a manageable way to play for free, while also creating relevant and competitive decks. Ive been a long time TCG and MTCG enthusiast and I’ve genuinely enjoyed ESL on par with MTG or Hearthstone. That being said I do feel the app needs better optimization, so that several phone bugs are corrected. Other than that, I still strongly recommended you try the game for yourself if you’re into Mobile Trading Card Games.

Awesome game for free. I've never been a Magic-card-playing type but am a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series dating back to Morrowind. At first I was skeptical but the game has got me playing on my work breaks. For those complaining about having to pay for better stuff, well it's not something this polished is done for free. People have to make money and pay bills, you know. When you move out of your parents' house you may understand this. That having been said, I'm only playing for free and this is the most fun mobile game I've played yet. The graphics are especially slick and everything seems to keep in tune with ES lore as much as a silly card game can do. Bravo, Bethesda and an arrow to your knees for stealing even more of my time lol

Amazing game. This was my first card game. I’m usually a grind-it-out strategy RPG guy but I gave this a try almost two years ago. I legit have logged in every day since and play as often as I can. I’m an exclusively mobile player as well. I can’t say enough good things. After a content drought and developer switch, the game hasn’t been better. Can be 100% F2P if you put in time (not that much though). I’ve supported the game through various promotion or expansions but haven’t spent more than $25. It’s rewarding, challenging and just a blast to play. Community is welcoming and helpful plus the competitive scene is ramping up. Get into this game now!

Why is this game still garbage on iOS?. The game itself is good. I play in on my laptop. But it is completely and utter garbage in iOS. And no it cannot be my phone, I am running on iPhone 11 right now and it’s still as bad as it was back then. Lag every second. Whether on WiFi or LTE. Every move I make connection problem. Complete waste of storage space honestly, regardless of whether you’ll use all that storage space on your iPhone in your lifetime. It’s better of just sitting there have this junk on it. It’s a shame to see this happen on here for this game. I imagine it turns so many people away. I had to delete it after one or two games with the same problem. Can’t even complete a single turn correctly. Save yourself the time. Play on computer or not at all.

I love this game but... Please fix this problem. The only problem I have with this game and the reason I don't give it 5 is because this game crashes on me multiple times within 10 minutes and it takes about a minute to load back up so literally 1/3 of my playing time is watching the load screen😡 and it's not my phone because none of the other games I play crash at all so please fix this crashing problem. I know I have a iPhone 6 plus and it's older but there's no reason it should crash every few minutes...

Hard To Read Your Cards. While the setting is great and the game mechanics are interesting, the interface design is flawed. It is difficult to read the cards in your hand and in the deck builder. To read them, you must hold down on the card to expand it, but your finger covers the card and no amount of finger gymnastics help to uncover the text. Plus, it is to easy to accidentally play a card you are merely trying to read. The same problem exists on the deck building screens. So while I want to enjoy playing this game, I find myself frustrated instead. In fact, I only avoided giving it 1 star because of the potential I see here. But to me, right now, it is unplayable.

Pay to win.. Title says it all. A game that is nearly impossible and does nothing but frustrate since it is based 50% on luck and 50% on whether or not you spent money to buy packs of cards you need to be successful. Story mode is playable up to leeniths house. At that point the pc gets every advantage, and with the cards you have at the time you either have to lose 20 times to level up enough to get more cards and hope they’re good ones, or pay to get them. If you have no life and nothing else to spend your money on I’m sure it’s enjoyable and playable. But for people who just want money sucking free strategy experience to play in waiting rooms or to pass the time, this is the wrong game for you.

Excellent gameplay. App has functionality flaw.. Game is a clone of Hearthstone in the Elder Scrolls universe. Game seems to be balanced well. Only complaint is the sheer intolerance to service switches and sleeping. Every time your data service switches (cell to wifi; vise-versa) the game disconnects and asks you to reconnect. The app then does a full reset. If you were in the middle of an online battle you lose your turn. Against AI it is counted as a concede. It's completely frustrating and I feel it is bad app design that needs to be addressed in coming patches. I hope that it is the top priority being worked on right now. Aside from that I really love the app. =)

Used to be an amazing game. This game was amazing, WAS. Since SparkPants took over, I barely play it anymore. Full of glitches and bugs, especially in PVP that result in connection errors. The game is A LOT slower now, though visually it looks better. If I get a text message while looking through my cards, and move to the Messenging app and then come back, I have to restart Elder scrolls. Probably the most annoying issues is that after every update, you have WATCH it install. Doesn’t update in the background like literally every other game. Sometimes it will take 10-15 minutes, and I’m on WiFi. This is a huge step back, but I understand they probably pulled their main Dev team away from this to focus on the Elder Scrolls mobile game. Still, a disappointment.

Great, yet no update for 2 years?. Great card game and simple enough to learn quickly. Getting all of the cards definitely takes some time especially if you’re not wanting to spend money, but getting enough cards to make a decent deck doesn’t take too long. Good rules system, time allotment, and fun. But the main problem is no update for two years. It’s dying. Without any new cards, effects, strategies, etc…. You’re left with the same decks in all game play, especially higher rank play where it becomes regurgitated monotony. Adding a new set of cards or Anything would help a lot.

Great Game although.... When I first downloaded this game I was loving every second of it. I loved getting new powerful cards to use against opponents and I love the references to the elder scrolls games like Skyrim, Morrowind, and Oblivion. They have many micro transactions like card packs and new stories but you can still get them without spending money. My only criticism about the game is that they need to make it more easier and convenient to get soul gems. I really want to get all the new legendary cards but it takes a really long time because the only way to get soul gems are by soul trapping and arena. Still a great game and can’t wait to see what the do in the future.

Disappointed TES fan. While I’ve been an Elder Scrolls fan since Oblivion first released, I don’t enjoy this game. The art is wonderful and the concept is there, but the gameplay seems unfair. I’ve played over 100 AI practice matches and have lost well over 60% of them on novice. For the most part a win will look promising until the AI reaches about 10 health, then will draw every card needed to win. I’m not a card game expert by any means apart from playing some MTG over the years, but the odds are skewed in such a way that makes the game not fun. It’s frustrating to lose so often after knowing you were doing everything needed to win and have the rug pulled out. It would be nice to make it more accessible to people who aren’t card game pros, but still want to play a neat spin off to a great series.

Changes. Before the update, I loved the game, and I suppose I still do. However, the game unbelievably lags on my iPad Air now, when it was completely fluid in the old version. I'm hoping there's some way to turn the stylistic animations and stuff down, so that the game isn't borderline unplayable. I also have a complaint about battery life. Before the update, the charm was that I could play this game for a while and not completely kill my battery, which is why this was a good app to play when you're bored and have limited battery. But now, when this app is running, I lose 1% every minute (I looked, on my battery life it said 27 minutes, 27%). I love this game, and I'm fine with all other changes. But please make it work as well as it did before.

CCG All Star - A must play. This is an exciting and well executed addition to The Elder Scrolls franchise as well as a gorgeous and extremely developed CCG entry. The mechanics are fantastic - I have not been this engaged, or this obsessed, since MtG. There are so many options with pacing and deck building - truly skill/strategy focused. Players will also find lots to enjoy without being hamstrung by a burdensome pay-to-play system that blocks meaningful to progress, but can also rest easy knowing there is real value in any decision to spend - it’s that good. Being able to move across platforms to play with your free account is another bonus. Bethesda has hit the mark once again.

Disappointing. I had a really good time playing this game for a bit. There were a few bosses that were obviously trying to get you to spend money but I beat them. But then there was Naarafin. This boss is so blatantly overpowered. Cards that would normally cost you 3-4 cost him 1-2. Whenever you actually start to build up a presence on the board he’ll whip out a card that literally destroys all of your cards in the blink of an eye. You’ll dump all of your points into beefing up on guys and he’ll just kill it with a javelin and leave you defenseless. This is just an annoying way to get you to spend real world money on the game. I deleted the game after a few try’s because I knew there was just no free way to beat him.

Best card game - Hands down!. By far, the best CCG on the market! At first glance, I thought it was a knock off of Hearthstone... but over the YEARS I have been playing this game, it has proved itself as so much more... perfectly balanced with endless working strategies, gameplay that is simple and refined, and the best part... you can play it (and play it well) without spending a dime. There are enough opportunities to earn coins that can purchase everything you will need to play with the best of players. DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!! If you like card battle games, you will not regret it!

Update leaves it nearly Unplayable. This newest update is really something, the game hardly can load now and the oversaturated and clunky new UI causes it to freeze and even crash in the menus. Matches are slow and freeze on anything from playing a card to drawing a card. Arena’s crash often and count as a loss, so...Why fix something that wasn’t broken? Legends’ old UI and menus were smooth and added character, the game mats were pleasing to look at and didn’t have an enourmous black square on it before the game started. I hope they remedy the update soon or return to the old UI.

Great Game That Doesn’t Work. Guessing new client requires better internet to play, because I can no longer play from work on lunch breaks (even in practice mode), and I hear others still can’t log in at all. There are still numerous bugs. To name a few: Login rewards are broken (it appears every day, but I have tracked my totals and the rewards aren’t actually being added), summon effects don’t always work (some last gasp summoned creatures is where I have seen this), had quest rewards disappear when I tapped them, pack opening animation shoots out three big white squares, there is weird echoing on the Arena voicing, and sometimes only the top half of cards show when selecting cards for arena. I loved this game and have spent over $100 over the past two years largely because I wanted to support the developers, knowing it wasn’t bringing in the same business that Blizzard gets from Hearthstone. The new team has made lots of changes I don’t care for, but the core of the game is still great and they just need to make the functionality as reliable as it should be. Hoping I can recommend this game to friends again in a couple of months.

Another Pay-To-Win. I uninstalled Hearthstone because I saw a huge increase in epic and legendary cards all of a sudden. I am not a huge fan of pay for wins. After stumbling on Legends, and being a huge Elder Scrolls fan, I decided to give another TCG a change. A few days in, I really really enjoy the references, artwork, and all around gameplay. But I have found that in the PVP ranked games, there is still an obvious "pay for awesome cards and will on others" feel. I think the game as a whole is better than Hearthstone (hence the 3-star review), but I really wish that the developers of mobile TCGs can find a way to balance the matching of players that purchase cards with money and those that put work in to developing decks from game play time.

A step in the wrong direction. Sorry to say this, but the sparky pants update is less immersive, and less fun. The game board is wood planks - I liked it better when it was an interesting background. The cards are smaller now? The text on them is harder to read, and details on the beautiful card art is lost. The font is plain. In the non-gameplay screens, it feels like I’m using business software. I don’t see really any meaningful UI differences where the user experience was considered. It’s unclear to me what the goals of the redesign were. I didn’t have any major issues with the UI before, so I don’t understand how someone could argue that the new look provides a better experience for users.

Space and Offline. Great game. Art is amazing and for the most part the online game is seamless. However, (and this might only pertain to a few users) for my older iPhone it's hard to put 2 gb of space into a game like this if it only works online. It hurts when I'm in a long car ride or wifi isn't working well and I just want to try some decks or play a quick game for fun. I get that most of this game has to be online though since rewards, deck updates and wins and losses would have to be updated from offline, but a feature that creates an offline mode that does not need to update to live would make a difference and make this the perfect game.

Great Game.....Some Problems. First of all....I love this game. It’s a great TCG overall. However, I have a few issues that I think can be easily fixed by Bethesda. If you get disconnected from a game due to switching connections or temporary disconnection it often times will just auto lose the match for you and not reconnect you. This is a huge bummer. Also there are some visual glitches if you minimize the app that can only be fixed by restarting the app. Making this game not a good mobile, out and about, type of game. If they fixed these issues I’d give the game a 5 star.
