Great game but be cautious of offer wall. I’ve been a long time player of this game and must say that I love it. I’ve made several in app purchases putting not only my time but my money into this freemium game. For new players it’s a great game, very entertaining, & has plenty of laughs. But for new and old players alike be cautious of the “free gem” offers within the game. I recently completed an offer that had me complete an in app purchase in a game I’ve never played and will never play just to not receive any gems and waste my time and money. I’ve reached out to Kongregate to rectify the issue with no luck. It’s a long standing issue that through a small google search I was able to see I wasn’t the only player to have this problem with no assistance from game developers. Again it’s a great game but be cautious of the offer wall & don’t waste your hard earned money on this app.

Fun game!. This game gives you hours of fun and excitement. I love this game but there are a few glitches. Like when trying to see a recipe for a combo card, the game always crashes. I don't understand that, but I see here on the reviews that this is an issue for everyone. And I wish you could recycle old upgraded cards. I have sooo many common cards that I don't use anymore that I can't get rid of. I wish it would allow you to recycle them. But other then that, this game is solid. And I love the new calendar feature that gives you free goodies for playing everyday. (4star rating) Update: bug issue of game crashing when trying to view combos has since been fixed! Thank you! And I figured out how to delete common cards. That was my error not the game lol. But the issue was that they were in other decks so I couldn’t delete them. The game is great. The only, I don’t wanna call it an issue, but suggestion I have is to be able to delete extra decks. I added decks for swole events and different BGEs but would love to be able to delete them when done. At the moment, I have 5-6 decks that I can’t get rid of. That would be an awesome feature. But I will change my rating to 5 star because that’s not a super big deal, just a preference and the game really is awesome! Everyone should play ☺️

Great game, but crashes during events. My favorite game for years! Absolutely worth 5 stars, but I can only give it 4. The only problem which seems to have gotten worse over time is server issues during events, rumble especially. It will lose server connection multiple times during your 10-turn run. Most the time it allows you to resume, but you’ll find yourself unable too every other server loss and you will be given a loss. This has been an issue for many players and I have sadly seen many people leave the game because it leads to unfair advantages and needless stress. If they could put more effort into fixing this, it would be 5-stars no question!

Great game (a few bugs). I love this game! A mishmash of my favourite shows together? Why not?! Lanaaaaaaaaa (where’s Archer though?). Having Archer added to this would be an amazing thing! Hope the devs read this and take it under consideration! It takes a lot for me to spend real money on a game but this one didn’t have to try much because it’s soo fun! A few bugs I noticed is with some of the quest awards, even though I successfully complete them, the progress meter does not move forward. Also, when I play Adventures, and I want to speed through it, even though I have enough scenery, it won’t let me use multiple energies (only one allowed) but after that I can do multiple skips. I don’t know why it works like that but it’s been persistent. Overall a great game! Looking forward to future updates!

Got Communication?. This game lacks communication amongst all players globally whether they’re part of a guild or in others. Communication is key whether it’s through knowing what going on, strategy, causal and even recruiting but what rumors are going around is that they’re going to discontinue server chats altogether and simply not communicate with others unless you plan to get another app to do so, but if a new member would to join a guild while it’s implemented they’re not going to know what app the guild uses if they even use one and become out of the loop. For guilds that have lost members due to players hopping around to others or due to inactivity guild are not capable to tell players globally that they’re looking for players as it stands. Forums are starting to not even work and even when they did people don’t want to look through 100s of ads when that guild may not be recruiting anymore at that time. Please keep communication all on the same game and consider creating a global chat for everyone to be able to communicate with everyone that plays this game. Unsure if this recommendation has any merit since Kongregate appears to not want any part having to monitor communication but it’s something I think that the game truly needs

Amazing. This game is by far the best out! I’ve been playing this game for a while now and it gets better with time! I just wish when you go do the adventures you had more time to do them! I understand with a game like this you need to control so it’s not just play play play but 200 gems just to get more time to play is a little unfair other than that TRY THIS GAME!!! Again there is nothing wrong with the adventures just wish we could play that a little longer because that’s what makes the game fun by doing that and grinding you will lvl up your team!! 5 stars to 1!. Game is really fun. Super addicting! BUT, doing DAILY quests is a waste of resources. Cost of 1k coins to buy a card for a rewards of 500. Thats a loss of 500 coins and not really compensating with lesser rewards. Mastery combos are perfect but ill have a search to do and itll block me out ( not enough resources) GREY IT OUT. I also reported some bugs and that never got fixed. Spending money is outrageous and when you ask for something else to do with better rewards for, ha, you get nothing. Skip an arena and story. HOW ABOUT SKIPPING CHALLENGE BATTLES? There is no character lvl system past arena. When you hit arena trophy 13 . Every loss is a penalty of 75 and a win of 66.?. Arena was an upper battle untill then. Aeast make it even!!! I do ten battles loosing 6 at 75 pen., keeping me at the bare zero of arena 13. There is no want to keep playing if theres no progress to make. Sorry animation throwdown. Ill be throwing you down for good. Loss of a potentual spender, and ever more so a loss of a great game left behind.

TOO MANY ADS and won’t even let me star rate it. So I wrote another review but I can’t seem to find it to revise it so I guess I’ll start a new one. Where do I start this game requires you to watch an ad to pretty much do anything and that’s no exaggeration. Do you wanna upgrade a card? You have to watch it and had to even place it in the upgrade slot and then you have to watch another upgrade just to whittle your time down want to collect the various prizes that’s right got a watch another ad. Oh and the latest event now the Dems are charging us gyms to just collect the event prizes for logging in every day. Went back-and-forth with Support. Because I thought it was a glitch first they tried telling me that all it will only charge you 50 gems. If you miss a day, and then it was from 50 gems to 100 gems. And to make matters even worse then I was informed that it wasn’t just because I missed today because I knew that I hadn’t. And my daily logins would prove that, but oh no it was a premium prize so you had to pay gems to even collect it needless to say I am uninstalling this game and I would suggest anybody else that wants to look at it just go find something else to waste your time on because this game isn’t worth the time much less the money spent on it

Great game, but.... I played this game for months and months and got absolutely addicted to it. I found myself on this game every chance I got. However, about two weeks after I unlocked SFC the game would steadily crash on me every time I’d try to load it. It did it every day for a month before I uninstalled. That was about a year ago and every few months I redownload it in hopes it finally got fixed, which never happened. I contacted Kongregate several times over it and they just told me to uninstall in and reinstall it every time I’d try to contact them. It definitely deserves a 5 star review, except I can’t play it anymore! I really hope this hasn’t happened to anyone else and I really hope one day this issue gets resolved because it’s a very fun, addicting game.

Gambling KONG Modern Times Group : BBB. When will Apple or someone hold Kongregate, parent company: Modern Times Group, accountable? If you’re going to advertise certain things in crates, boxes, etc.. you should present the drop rates. This is essentially gambling and borderline fraudulent for not giving the player access to see his or her odds when purchasing a pack. When compared to other monthly/yearly memberships as well, it’s much more expensive. $120 a month vs Xbox live? Very unhelpful company, more likely to punish you for concerns rather than fix them. Most of the time they are unresponsive though and tend to acknowledge something while promising a solution in the future (hint: doesn’t happen). It’s almost embarrassing FOX has given KONG/Modern Times Group the rights to steal from fans of the shows.. Bob’s, Family Guy, etc all through this game. This review doesn’t include the offer wall scam and plethora of many other problems within this application.

You like long ads? This game is perfect. If you love long repetitive ads, this is the game for you. Not only is the actual gameplay pretty fun, involving beloved Fox animation characters, but if you want to do virtually anything in the game, you also get a nice 40+ second ad. If you think I just mean speeding things up, NOPE. Want to open your free daily gift box, AD. Want to start researching a card combo (that will take 8+ hours to complete), AD. The game itself is fun but the amount of ads required to do virtually everything would DEFINITELY grind Peter Griffins gears. Update: not sure what more information the developer wants. This game is a cash grab at its purest. I have plaid tons of free games so I expect ads HOWEVER those ads are normally used as an incentive to boost time (for example). This game makes you watch ads to essentially play the game. They are not quick (or skippable) ads either. Want to load up your combo research chambers, be prepared to watch 4x40sec ads just to start the research, which you will then have to wait 12+ hours for it to complete. This game is a great concept but VERY poorly executed.

Great fun!. I don’t watch any of these shows but King of The Hill but that doesn’t stop me from having a great time playing the game and really loving it. It’s a good time muncher for when I need something to occupy myself. I see lots of folks saying that it’s a pay to win game but that really isn’t true. If you strategize well you can easily get very far. I haven’t paid a cent since I started. I love the selection of heroes and I eagerly await more. There are ads but you really only watch them voluntarily and they aren’t shoved in your face, and you are rewarded for doing so. One of the only cons of the game is that it will eat your battery life very fast. Another thing is along with the recent update it seems to be laggy. I have faith in the creators this will be fixed soon, but until it is I can’t grant this game the 5 stars it really deserves. UPDATE: the lag is completely gone now, and the game actually seems to be running smoother than before!

Good game 2 many crashes. I love and enjoy the game, I have been playing for quite some time and have earned a lot of cool cards. The game itself is exciting and entertaining the problem comes with the amount of glitches this game has it literally crashes for everything. My recent problem was game crashes while tryin to open store, which is annoying and causes an unpleasant experience & also while trying to see the combos that I need to unlock for mastery research. Little things like this take away from the games experience due to the fact that they are requirements players need to advance in the game. Conclusively if the developers would take time to focus on these crashes and other issues with mentioning the game could excel to its full potential with prime ratings and devoted gamers.

Long grind for free play. Good game for about 3-4 weeks. Then you start matching up with harder players, win about half the time. Cannot really get ahead in the challenge games. Based on pts, 1-2 pts with win, but typically 3 pts in loss after easy 1st round. You accumulate decent cards in about 3 weeks doing all events, joining guild and completing tasks, however to upgrade your cards to a higher level, takes 1-2 days to research or a lot of energy to update. Seems you play against higher level players half the time as you continue to move up. Hard to get ahead quickly. So if want to play for free or spend <$10, expect to put up with losing half your attacks and spending long hours playing or waiting to get ahead. Since I’m too competitive, have little patience, not willing to pay a lot, and lately have less time to play, started not enjoying game after losing so often. So moving on, for now. However maybe willing to come back at a later date.

Pay to win. Been playing for almost a month now, thought I was doing pretty good even spent some money to help me out. Now that ive finished the adventure and only have the arena and events to do I’m not able to get anything. Everyone I face in the arena has a whole deck of mythical card and I haven’t even been able to get 1 mythic , I lose almost every battle and it doesn’t seem to matter how much I lose im still facing people I have absolutely no chance of beating . Now im not complaining about losing I don’t mind it , but every single game? Come on now this needs to be balanced. The only way to get mythical card is mainly the events getting into the top 10 and you can’t do that when your opponents are practically all maxed out . So therefore I’m giving it a 1 star, ovverrall gameplay is fun but after you get so far in the game don’t expect to keep going you’ll be stopped by people who can afford to spend hundreds on the game.

Bad Customer Service & Liars. I like the game I had fun playing it but their customer service is bad and they are liars. I did one of the promotions to get free gems and I got to level 7 in The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire app. I never was rewarded with the gems. I contacted customer service and sent them the information they asked for then they said I had to contact SuperSonic (the creators of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire). I tried to but the system did not allow me to (I tried multiple times). I informed Throwdown customer service of my issue and they said I instead needed to email SuperSonic then and send them all these screenshots about their system not working and so on. I told Throwdown customer service I think this is ridiculous, why should I have to do all of this? They choose to partner with SuperSonic and it is their partner not giving me my rewards. I asked Throwdown customer service to just give me the gems I am deserved and they said no. I told them I would give them a 1 star rating and this bad review and no response from them. They don’t seem to care.

It’s a great game but Very focused on MONEY. As a person who plays this game a for a while now , I can certainly say that this game is a very fun game. But you can tell is HEAVILY DESIGNED ON PAY TO WIN. This game has multiple currencies for multiple purposes. This right there is a sign of pay to win. They want you to collect coins and currency through out your playing time so you could get better cards and due certain activities throughout the game. The problem is that it could tell nearly all day to get the amount of points you want or need or even multiple days. It takes multiple hours/days to research combos. It takes multiple hours to reload your adventure bar . Basically it takes multiple hours to do things OR YOU COULD PAY AND GET YOUR CURRENCY AND MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW. I personally never spent a single dollar in this game but is just frustrating that I can’t have fun anymore because when you get to a high enough level you can only play for a few minutes without running out of points , then you have to wait an entire day to play again. Games are design with this purpose so you could continuously come back and keep playing it. GOOD GAME BUT VERY BAD CURRENCY DESIGN - PAY TO WIN

This is awesome! I have a few suggestions. I have been playing this game for two years and last year I had to switch phones, and lost my god-squad account. I have a suggestion. I wish there was a way for you to link your old account to another device. I would love that. Another suggestion is to add a store where you can buy exact cards. I know that there is a store for you to buy packs and such, but if you were to add a part specifically designed as maybe an auction block for people to get exact cards, a lot more people would play This game is awesome and it gets 5-stars from me, but if these suggestions were implemented, I would give this 6-stars if I could

Great game but I’ve been having trouble for the last couple days.. So it started Wednesday I open the game but it started kicking me out of the game and now I can’t open the shop edit or recycle bad cards that I have in my deck also, let’s know that using fragments just to upgrade mythic cards is stupid you should just be able to use 500 giggitywatts to upgrade mythic cards please fix this bug where on Wednesday nothing works even ad crates don’t work sometimes and I feel like I need to delete and reinstall the game and I’ll lose all progress and plus I just got the wagstaff whaler and I have a mythic Stan and some great epic and legendary cards. Also sieges are broken I only got to do a siege once now it’s just two days it resets and the same thing happens every day. Please fix all these things

Gives unfair advantages to a select few/they violated their own TOS. I’ve been playing since day 1. I’ve spent a fair amount in two years. A very fair amount. But the time has come to no longer support this game. There have been many controversies in the two years since this game has been around but this latest is the straw that broke the camel’s back. The developers are giving unreleased content to a select few players who intentionally deceived them. These players cheat, yet Kong caters to them. It makes gameplay unfair for everyone. Not only are these players cheating but Kong also gives them hundreds of dollars of free items in illegitimate perks. It has never been stated that there are perks for spending money (such as in a casino setting) but this is what’s happening, and it’s happening in a very underhanded, sneaky way. There is absolutely no way to compete in this game without spending money, and spending that money goes to crooked people- so find another game with transparent developers to give your money to! Anyone here saying that you don’t need to spend money to advance has absolutely no idea what they are talking about. You will find proof all over social media that shows you must spend to compete and advance.

One of the best iPhone games of all time. Being a huge fan of Fox’s animated shows, this game immediately caught my interest when I saw a couple of ads for it when playing other games. I gave it a shot and immediately became hooked. Granted, I become hooked with several other iPhone games, but I eventually lose interest and delete them. But this isn’t the case here. I progressed to the point where I was able to join a team called “guilds” in this game. This feature allows you to interact with REAL PEOPLE and participate with them in various events. I was absolutely blessed with joining one that is super involved in game events and is always willing to help you out. Largely thanks to them, I had a real motivation to keep playing. This game is very simple to learn, has incredible depth and highly rewards creative and strategic use of your cards, feeling like Pokemon card battles only with Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, King of the Hill, American Dad! and Futurama characters. It’s easy for beginners to learn, and it gives you the motivation to keep playing and be a stronger player. I guess the reason why it’s so polished is because this game is not exclusive to mobile devices and is also available on computers, but any flaws this game has are negligible and balanced out by updates. Overall, this is one of the greatest iPhone games ever made, and a definite recommend.

Good but a lot of work to get gems.. I obviously really enjoy playing this game and I often find myself playing it all night, rather than sleeping. I appreciate the game in is entirety, but I was slightly put off by the offers for getting gems. I’m a college student and can’t afford to spend actual cash on games on my phone. Naturally, I was pretty pleased to see that I could complete offers for gems. Some of these offers ask for your email address to enter into supposed contests. The process was painstakingly long because it required a lot of personal information as well and continued to force me into a survey before I could officially be entered. I got the gems, but I’ve already received four emails related to the survey I was forced to take just to enter. Maybe I’m nitpicking, but that’s not a great process. Anyway, I love the graphics and the gameplay itself.

Awesome A+. This is an awesome card game that you can jump right into with zero trouble understanding the flow of it. The game walks you through card attributes as they arise and guides you in card plays. The research function is brilliant, as are the many currencies that exist for their special things they buy. If you invest money into the game you get a good amount for what you pay and makes the game more fun, not necessary pay to win. But it does give you better cards quickly. There are free upgrades and boosts of various types brought by watching ads. A few clever game modes! This game is well balanced but a little easy at first. It is very polished, zero bugs. It runs very smoothly on iPhone X! I am addicted!!!!! Can’t wait to do some more combo research!!!

Be ready to spend if you want to go far.. I have been playing since the first week the game came out. I have spent some money on the game but to get all the perks you really have to spend thousands of dollars on packs to get the best cards. I don’t have a problem with Kongergate generating income, after all they are a business, however with the recent swole club it seems they have completely turned their backs on free to play players. In past challenges it has been easy to unlock all milestones, and ranked rewards have been for players who have more resources to use on the game. However in this event that was not the case. I was really excited to get a Mythic Bob I even defended Kong in the first few days of the event telling other players on Facebook they would get Bob for playing. That however has not been the case. If they didn’t want everyone to have a “free” (our time is valuable) Mythic Bob then only offer half the prices in the milestones and the rest could be earned from ranked tiers. I know I’m putting the game down for a time.

Addictive Game!. This is the best card type game I’ve ever come across! Its gameplay is very dynamic, and it includes a wide variety of cards to play with/choose from. I’ve played this game for roughly two years, and it still hasn’t disappointed me. Well, at least to the extent of completely quitting this game. I will rate this game a solid 4, but only for one reason: This 👏 Game 👏 Does 👏 Not 👏 Have 👏 A 👏 1v1 👏 Slash 👏 Multiplayer 👏 Feature 👏. You could say that the rumble or siege is technically a multiplayer feature, but you’re not going up against a real player, logistically. However, what I mean is that there is no 1v1 feature that accommodates those who would like to have a friendly 1v1 battle with friends. I’ve been dying for a feature similar to this, and every update, I hope to see that heavenly text, “-You may now battle your friends in a 1v1!”. That’s my only request of this game, and I’m positive there are others who would also like this feature implemented. Other than that, keep up the good work! And add in 1v1’s! Please, and thank you 😊

Fun game,but I’m having a big issue.. The game is fun to play,but lately the ads are ridiculous. I understand they’re needed to make money,but they’ve been broken lately. You guys will show me one of those 3 part ads where I have to click “next” every time the timer ends and then when I click the last one it just freezes. That makes me have to force close the game,and when reopened I receive no reward. Please fix this soon because it’s really discouraging me from playing,as watching ads is pretty much the only way to play for more than 5-10 minutes. Also,don’t understand this new ad set-up where a 30 second video plays(seems like longer tbh),then it opens an App Store pop up that I have to close,and then I have to wait another 6 seconds to close it again. It makes no sense and doesn’t entice me to download whatever app it is,it actually pretty much ensures I’ll never download it.

Great Game !. The game is great , the title speaks for itself. I’ve been playing the game since it’s release and have really liked how it’s going so far. The game is fun and challenging. Most other reviews tell you that you have to pay to win...that is false. Through daily login rewards , arena awards , challenge rewards , and rewards from any other modes , you can quickly enhance your deck. I’ve spent 0 dollars and already on my way to my 7th legendary card and 1st mythic card (2 top ranks a card can reach). The game features tons of favorite characters from different shows and multiple editions of the character through combinations (i.e. Peter + The Clam = Drunk at The Clam Peter) , although there’s one thing that I ask from the creators and it’s that they add more updates for more cards , I feel like there are some classics that are missing from the game ( i.e. Death from Family Guy) but yea this game is good for people who want something challenging and addicting , enjoy your experience!

If you like American Dad, and Family Guy, then get this game!!!. This game is hilarious! I’ve played Little Alchemist by Kongregate and this feels like a grown up version of that game. If you’re at all a fan of shows like American Dad, Futurama, and Family Guy then definitely get this game! It’s a great tribute to most of the great adult-oriented cartoon shows you see on TV today. My one criticism is that the mechanics of the card game itself are a little weird. Once you start losing there’s nearly no way to come back from it. I guess they designed it that way to make the game more fast-paced. However, all-in-all its an awesome game and you’re guaranteed to laugh at their little Easter eggs they put throughout the game.

One of the best🔥. I very rarely play video games and the last few days I’ve been trying to find a game to play and have went through many that just aren’t appealing to me. I came across this and saw how all the animations came together and it sounded interesting so I downloaded it. I was a little fishy at first cause I’m not one for the mobile attack card sorta games. Then after playing and experimenting I found out you can actually have on auto play for the actual battles that way you don’t have to spend 5 minutes picking the wrong cards to play. My favorite part is researching different cards and finding out different combinations. Keep up the great work👌

It’s fun but to get to the top you’ll need to pay up. I’ve been playing since the first week this game came out. I have a fairly strong deck and it’s because I’ve probably put in a few hundred dollars(and even with that a fair amount of luck is involved). With that insane amount of money spent I am pretty much a mid-tier player. Don’t get me wrong, you absolutely can play this game without spending a dollar but it’s crazy when you see the top players rankings. Some of these players have spent in the thousands of dollars. I guess that’s why pay-to-win games exist. Companies go fishing for these ‘whales’ and Throwdown is polished and addictive enough to reel them in by the hundreds. This game can be played for free but if you want to get anywhere close to even the middle ranks you’ll have to open your wallet.

Fun but Quirky. The game offers hours of fun but is aggravating in a few ways. One being the recharge time for both Arena and Adventure play takes FOOORRRRRREEEEEVVVVVVEEEERRRRR. Another is the match making for arena isn’t experience based. I was level 3 with 75% of my deck still being and getting matched up against players who seemed to have an endless supply of legendary cards. Felt like two rounds and I was done for and I’d get these guys back to back to back to back and waste 3-4 turns in arena mode. Also every time I try to watch a video crate it freezes no matter what have had the max 5/5 crates but can’t do anything cause they just freeze up on me. Apart from this the game is friggin sweet.

Well. The game is good I really like the gameplay but you guys don’t give ad crates anymore and watching those ads “for better loot drops” is pretty much just a time waster outside of the first one every 24 hours because you get 5 gems for that one. Whether you watch ads or not you’ll be getting no more than 2 ad crates in 24 hours and I don’t see where this affects the game other than in the arena anyway, because that’s the only way to earn ad crates (better loot drops) Just seems like the developers no longer care about this app. Since I’ve had it I don’t think there’s been an update once. And the time it takes for energy to restore in the challenges section gives you no time to get ahead. Plus if you win a battle you only get between 1-2 victory flag thingys but if you lose a battle they subtract 3. Why take 3 at a time for loosing a battle when I can’t even earn 3 at a time for winning a battle? I really like this game a lot. Can we have an awesome update!!

Dopest Dope. Have only been playing the game for about two months but I have to say I'm totally addicted. It's not necessary to spend money to get a great deck no matter what some people thing. Yes in order to be in the top %5 of players you're probably gonna have to drop some dough, but thousands of dollars? Haha that's a ridiculous overstatement, only thing I have bought was the research upgrade for 10 bucks ( and I definitely advise it). All in all this is a great game, and if you want to play for free you can and still own people left and right as long as you know how to build a deck around whatever cards are getting bonuses for that month, 5 stars hands down

This game is good, just a couple things wrong. :(. This game is great. It’s fun and entertaining, but there’s just one problem... In the game you can earn in game money by winning matches and completing quests and with that money you can by random packs and these will give you random cards to play with. But I’ve only gotten a common card from it and I’ve been playing for a year now! Also I feel that I would be a nice touch to give a feature that allows you to buy any card from common to epic and as the rarities go up the price goes up as well the catch is you can only use it once every 2 weeks that way it’s not overpowered. In my opinion this is a great game that is worth your time and is free. It just would help the overall game play more enjoyable if a couple things were tweaked.

Could be great. I’ve been playing this game for a long time. I mostly have a lot of fun. The ads are a little much when it comes to things like researching, especially later on. You get a new card and then you have to watch 12 ads to make the combos to fit your deck. I wish you could just buy your way out of ads, not monthly. For $120 a year I could have a year of Netflix. My other issue is how they do Mythics. They are just too hard to get, especially since you don’t get to pick which show it comes from. I was saving mythic fragments for months. I was so excited to finally get my first one, and when it pulled my 3 options, none of them were for Futurama, which is what I main. That was absolutely heartbreaking when I log in every day and I play consistently, I even spend money on this game consistently only to be given the middle finger and no way to even exchange it for materials. Seriously considering giving up after this

Enjoyable But Disappointing Discovery. First off, I love this game. I love deck building, i like a lot of these shows and it's fun to get the references. Here's the issue: My boyfriend and I had downloaded this game hoping we found a good card game we could play each other in. I created a guild so we could battle each other without having to deal with others and that's when we realized, we were playing a robot for every single match we had. This is not player versus player. It's more like player versus deck. It wouldn't be a problem if they just said that? I don't think it's fun to learn it through clues like no delay in arena matches, fights still continuing seamlessly when you leave app for a second because of a text, you and your friend realizing you aren't playing each other, etc I was slightly disappointed I was playing computers the whole time, though it wasn't a big deal. But i was definitely bothered learning i couldn't do real pvp in a guild. That was the whole reason i suggested this game for us, because the app store doesn't have a lot of quality multiplayer card games imo. And i had played this before by myself for some weeks which is why i had this game on my mind. It's good, fun, and doesn't feel like i'm forced to pay but i just wish it could've actually been multiplayer like it explicitly stated in the description

This game makes no sense. So it’s a card-based fighting game. I got that, but that’s all. You get coins from the challenges. What are they used for? No idea. You get many levels of cards. Some can be merged. Why do you want to do this? No clue. This game can play itself. Cool. You also get gems that have a gold band around them that can be used to purchase....something. Don’t know what yet. There are coins that you can use to buy other cards. Cool. There are also shards of different colored gems that can be presumably used at some point. Also, there are beer bottle and gas cans that charge up....something. Don’t know what those are for, either. There are arena battles that you can play over and over again, but I am not sure what you are gaining. There are also guilds, but that just breeds more questions. A FAQ wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world. Or some other “what the crap is this crap used for” list of why I want to collect any of the things I am collecting. Still a fun game, just no idea what Inam doing.

Pay to play right off the bat. I love the characters for this game, honestly it could be the best game for a phone. Who doesn’t like a good card game? Dear developers, if you would take a lesson from Idle Heros you would have parted me with me money. But IMMEDIATELY it’s obvious the only way to expand is to buy gems (as there is no other real way to earn them) and thus you didn’t even let me connect to the game and have fun before I was faced with that option. To those who haven’t played, to learn a combo card you’ll have to wait anywhere between 8-24 hours and since you can only research 3 at a time, learning all 150 combinations of your (ever changing) deck will take months. Honestly how the hell dod no one point this out in development? I tried really hard to give this game a chance but once I tried to compete against onyx league opponents and lost every single battle because I wasn’t spending enough money I had to delete it. If they only care about making money than Jesus Christ, at least let the players have fun for a few days before becoming tedious.

Great Game but some of the free offers are scams. I love this game! The mechanics and the characters are really fun. The best part is combining cards to create new and stronger ones. This is one of those games though that if you are pay to play, you will advance much more quickly then others. However this game actually offers deals where you try other games to get free gems. After doing this I have found out that the offers that some of the big offers that take awhile to finish are scams. Especially “Vikings War of Games”. After playing the game for a little more than a week I waited a few days for the free gems but it didn’t come. So i went through the whole system, reported missing gems, and even emailed the company. Yet in the end they went silent and no gems. This really hurt my trust in the game but still the small offers in the game should usually work. Otherwise great game. Would give a higher rating if the problem is fixed.

Needs a few updates 🤘🏽👍🏽👌🏽😊. I really like this game, but some small gripes for a player that has a busy life. I would really really like if you could research random recipes with cards by just hitting random. It’d be a great edition, of course I don’t understand the difficulty level of adding something like this, but for the consumers it’d be great. A search bar for recipes as well where we can type in the card we’re looking for, but most importantly that random recipe button for sure. I’ve hit up developers for it over a year ago and no word back. Scrolling through hundreds of cards to pick a recipe you’re not specifically looking for anyway seems like a time waster. PLEASE ADD RANDOM RECIPE RESEARCH BUTTON. 👍🏽😊

The games great.... The game is great, it’s fun, interactive, challenging, and doesn’t need that much internet so it’s good for the go. Now, I’m a HUGE Rick and Morty fan, and am very disappointed I didn’t see them in the game. I am hoping they will get there own, “set”. A set in my opinion is we’re they get their own cards, playable characters, island in the campaign, their own island for like how bobs burgers has a shop, so maybe they can take you to a different dimension? Like more campaign after you finished the first dimension? Or maybe they can start you over but with a mythic if you chose to, after you’ve become really good. But you guys can decide. Other than that, it’s a really good game, but I am keeping it at a 4 star for now. And yes, it could be considered a card game, but I don’t consider it as one. Is more of one of the games we’re it’s people team VS people team, each team trying to kill the other, but the people are cards, so you don’t have to like card games to like it, and for people who do like card games, it’s just as fun!

It’s not random. It’s not a bad break, your team needs to fix its random algorithm. In the past three days I’ve started my hand with 12 straight character cards at least 4 times. I’ve probably only played 100 games in that span. That is an impossible randomization. Go get yourself a deck of cards, pull out all the hearts and spades. You should have 26 cards. Assume spades are character cards and hearts are object cards. If you shuffled that a 100 times you’d never end up with 13 spades. I challenge you and your team to do this. It just shows that I’m not being dealt a random hand, and in fact developers have put in obstacles to make sure you lose. It’s pathetic, I understand I will lose, however losing because you don’t actually randomize the deck is unacceptable. We as players assume we need better decks and pay. So in essence you’ve created a pay to play. I enjoyed the game and I didn’t mind paying for it, but only when I thought it was random. That’s not all folks, your skills on the card are random also, which means the game decides where to attack. Your win, loss is predetermined. Terrible gaming experience.

Spending Money Is Completely Optional. I’ve been addicted to this game for quite sometime. (I was playing another game on my tablet when I saw the ad for Throwdown... I no longer play any other game on my mobile device.) I’ve never spent a single dime and I still thoroughly enjoy playing. Maybe it’s because I have so many other things to do that I’m not ever going to spend more than a couple of hours throughout the day playing this game (to kill time mostly). Reading the reviews of people who admit to spending thousands of dollars on this game makes me laugh and super sad (there’s gotta be more realistic things to spend that much money on). I’m currently ranked at 12, about 409 points away from 13 without spending a single cent. I find logging in daily, completing quests, joining a guild, and participating in challenges is just enough to be able to enjoy the game and kick arse along the way. Cheers!!!

Fun, addicting, but very money hungry. This game is extremely fun and addicting but it is very much designed to make you spend a lot of money. I don’t mind spending a little money here and there for a game I really enjoy but this game asks you to spend a lot of money for only a chance at progressing just a little at a time. If you get addicted to games easy and are impulsive, stay away from this game if you are not willing to spends hundreds and later thousands of dollars. The game is rigged to where if you don’t have a deck full of extremely hard to obtain mythic cards, you won’t get very far. It’s fun but it’s hardly worth all the money you will spend if you want to progress in the game and the disappointment you will have when you realize the game is extremely rigged and you really can’t win unless you are willing to actually spend thousands upon thousands of dollars.

Great Game, one of my favorites, please read. This game is perfect for all the animation shows to come together and collaborate on a big game, also the way they turned it to a card game because it creates many possibilities and also the way they have abilities like the speaker or the bomb, for example, add more effect to the average card game. I believe that the only flaw might be how they left the Simpsons out of the game but they might not have wanted to do this. Overall i recommend playing the game because there are clans, researching special combos, rumbles, challenges, guild rumbles (clan rumbles) so i recommend the game to even people who don't watch the show, anyways have fun! :D

It’s good. I’ve been playing for about 4 days strait and I haven’t blinked once. It’s free so my millions of dollars aren’t being spent. My single life really peaked after this game (What I mean is I’m even more single than before). I jumped in a deep puddle and almost drowned because of my non-ability to swim, but while I was playing this game, so what I did was play this game till the authority’s arrived. One batch of police officers arrived, but left out of confusion, and disappointment, same for my parents. Then four days later they finally decided I looked dehydrated and told me to take one step forward, and when I did I guess god picked me up and placed me on safe grounds because I’m out of the puddle, then the game forced me to write this...the game politely asked me to write a good review. But anyways, the game is good.

Ads the game. This game is ok to play and kill time on but I’ve NEVER played a game with this many ads. You get a 50% boost to some items, like game coins to buy packs, but you have to watch 3 30 second ads first. You then have to research cards to unlock combos. Every time you do you watch a 30 second add to start the research. THEN you watch 3 more thirty second ads to lower the timer. You of course want to do it because it will take a 24 hour combo unlock time to a 12 or lower. You then play adventure and unlock 5 crates randomly as you use energy. These crates are locked. Guess how you open them? Yep! Another 30 second add! Oh. And not to mention the ads will sometimes crash the game or not load properly and you will waist 30 seconds and then have to do it again because it didn’t count. Not to mention some of the ads are 10 second nightmare ads that forces you to click next after 10 seconds.... again... and again.... and again for one freaking as. You spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing the game.

Great game in need of a minor update that would make it way better. This is my first review I’ve done and I feel like the developers need to know about a few minor problems with the game. First off it’s a well made game all around there’s lots to do and so many cards to collect so you’re basically getting a new card every day. I’ve never watched the shows but some of the cards are just flat out hilarious so kudos to those adult animation fan makers for giving the game a sense of humor. There are a few things that need to be updated like the quest bar I hate scrolling through all the quests just to get to the daily ones; there should be like 2 tabs 1 for main quests and 1 for daily quests. I also hate the research times I mean without ads it takes like half a day to research a epic combo and I bet legendary is probably a like a day, don’t quote me on that. I also feel like the shop is too small, there should be more packs to choose from and maybe some that would give you research time boost items. Also whenever I try using the auto skip in a battle the game crashes so hopefully that gets fixed soon. All in all it’s a unique take on the card game genre and I hope they add more cards from other shows like Rick and morty or South Park cause I can’t imagine why cards they would come up with for them.

Meh. OK so i’m not gonna be a hater and say that this game is trash, I enjoy most of the gameplay and almost play daily, but the reason I didn’t give five stars is because of a couple things I personally dislike. First and foremost the ranking system after u enter the secret fight club is rigged, the only way u can grind in it is hoping you go against someone who’s a lower level kuz if not your going to lose every time. They didn’t even try to balance it. Another thing I’d like to complain about is how pay to win this game is. If I’m not spending over $5000 on this game you can basically say Ur the weakest player in the game. Also I’ve been playing for 3+ years and still do not own a mythic card. One more thing is how much this app freezes. You can clearly tell there wasn’t a huge thought process to how the game was put together. Last thing and developer correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure everyone in the secret fight club that you battle automatically have better cards then you. (Again correct me if I’m wrong) other then that it’s an ok game. Just really frustrating how un fair arena gameplay is.

Latest Update. I just wanted to say that I don’t like your latest update. You updated the most random stuff that did NOT need to be updated. I only updated cuz the game wouldn’t let me play unless I did. Don’t update stuff that doesn’t need to be updated. You need to focus on why your app seems to always think there’s no internet connection no matter where I am or how good the internet connection is. You need to focus on adding an “auto-play” button to the challenges, rumbles and sieges. Not the NEW auto-play button you just updated either. You need to change that back. The button was not only moved to the opposite side of the screen but you also changed the little design inside of the button and then added some random “change your deck” button that NOBODY needed or asked for. I play this app every single day. Several times a day. If you keep making random unnecessary changes, I’m just not going to bother anymore. Every update takes up a lot of memory on my phone. When the updates have honestly just been random stuff that doesn’t need to be fixed on top of everything.

This game is great but. This game is great it is very addicting and fun The only things that I would recommend to the owners is to make the opponents in the adventure have more health and for the research to not take long.

Heaps of fun. Recently redownloaded the game and restarted from scratch and soon got hooked on the great graphics and gameplay once again. Collecting cards and making the combos and seeing what the developers put into the game you can see they are fans of the cartoons too.

Great game. Why can’t I claim my reward for doing 3 arena battles? Apparently it is not ready to be claimed, or so it says. Plus, can you improve the rate of how the cards in the deck come out? When I have played up to 6 times in one sitting, the cards keep handing out common cards. Eg. for about 7 common cards I will get 1 blue or a pink card. All I want to do is at least reach level 8 in the arena. It does need improving, but I love it just the same. Just make it a bit more fairer when dealing out cards. One other thing, when I get this msg about it not being ready to claim, there is no going back. I have to close out of the game, go back but when I do that I still have the msg up. Please fix this. I love the game, I just don’t like it when things don’t work properly.

Was fun, until... The game was fun until it decided not to load past the initial loading screen, which means I was forced to delete and reinstall, but that just wipes EVERYTHING and forces you to begin again from the very first tutorial which you cannot skip and you have no way of loading a previous save file from anywhere.

Make A Way To Remove Decks. This game is very good except for the fact you cannot get rid of decks. When u go to recycle cards it makes it quite difficult due to it saying unable to recycle card because it’s in another deck. Please make a way to remove decks!!!

U can only go so far without spending money, the challenges are impossible to complete without buying cards and the chances of getting legendary cards is not very good. Today the game constantly crashes and so far 5 mins to load to 40% not impressed as Iv spent money on this game.

Where's real time PvP!!. This is a very fun game, seeing some favourite shows adapted to a card battling game. But there is something missing..of course there is Arena, where I'm guessing I'm just playing against other people's decks in AI form. Needs an update. I enjoy this game though I’ve recently changed my hero to a new one that I have unlocked and when I’m in a challenge the game keeps crashing when I open it again it resumes the match but half of my current playing cards are gone which causes me to loose the match constantly which is starting to annoy me. Unfair Arena Matches. Game was fun to play. For months I’ve played this and Arena matches I won around 60-70% of my matches. Until I hit Arena level 15. All of a sudden I only win about 10% of my matches which is extremely frustrating. I now constantly get matched against waaaaay stronger opponents and have no chance to win. Please fix so Arena battles are evenly matched again.

Great game tho can go another lvl up. Been a fan since the game first come out. Great game and love seeing mu fav shows and characters. I feel that the game can further improve the game experience by reducing certain waiting time. For example remove the reward animation. No need of the treasure box appearance. Also unnecessary to list reward one by one. All the rewards can be listed straight away in smaller icons. This can further streamline the game. Overall love the game and thank you team.

Area progression. Progression in the area is in impossible. It was the reason I deleted the app in the first place months ago. There’s no point playing a game you can’t progress in. New hero tutorial bug. Whenever a new hero is unlocked, it says to try it out, however tapping anywhere on the screen does not proceed to the next step. Constant force close and restart the game because of this issue has been a problem for me since day 1... which was 3 days ago.. however this problem is now bothersome to the point I may wish to delete the game. However, the game is fun to play, love all these fox cartoons also.. will update if/when the issue is fixed. Thanks

Cards disappeared. Cards disappeared back early in July, derringer Francine was the card I had it quad fused. Marc was to lazy to find my game records where I had it and just gave me a lvl 1. So I stopped playing for a couple months. Well today it happened again on a 1000 legendary stones pull. They get 2 stars the game is fun but buggy, on forums it’s happening to others as well. Poor customer service. Also the adventures is useless, by the time you beat the last stages the rewards are horrible and useless. Better off with another card game by another developer. In secret fight club I gain 1-15 per win and lose 30+ per lose, and I just got there so I’m playing higher ranks then me. For the 3rd time Marc displayed terrible customer service, accomplished nothing talking to the undertrained guy. I asked to be helped by another person, the guy just ghosted me.

Great game. I don’t really understand the people who are complaining that you have to spend thousands of dollars to enjoy this game. I have been playing for well over a month now and I haven’t spent a cent and it has remained a fun game. Yeah the rewards aren’t instant but they are worth it and there is more than enough to do if you only have an hour a day, and if you have less it’s worth it to check in anyway. I have a bunch of legendary cards, a dope deck, have enjoyed my experience, and most of all have not paid a cent. Actually amazing. Most of the games aren’t actually fun and I always get bored of them, I came across this game and right as I finished downloading it, it was amazing! It’s a combination of 4 really good shows; Family guy, American Dad, King of the hill and futurama. (They should add rick and morty) this game makes me really happy and I encourage everyone who watches these shows to play it, I thank you all for the game the only thing I’m actually sad about is that they don’t have the rick and Morty characters. Very fun and has gotten much better.. I had played a couple years ago and it was fun but it had the same problem most games do, if you don't spend money it takes forever to get anywhere after awhile. After reinstalling now the game seems to have gotten way better about that, they give you legendary characters but you have to work for them by completing quest which I think is more than fair. Watching 30 second ads is also a way to support the game with out spending your own money and the rewards they give you for watching ads are more than fair for a small 30 seconds.

Fun......but. The game is fun and not too complicated. I like the fact that there are no complicated controls or timers. However I have never watched any of the shows so when I battle I sometimes play a card that does nothing and then another that does. So my problem is this, how do you know which cards attack and which cards boost. I can’t find a list or anything. I know you can level cards up. I have been doing that but sometimes it’s a hit or miss as I have to guess if the card is a boost or an attack card. I know certain combinations give benefits and it can be to put one card with one card over another combination.

Short term fun. This game is fun and challenging in the first few levels, but within a couple of weeks you’ll be thrown in with players whose assets are far more powerful than your own. You’ll lose as much as three fourths of your pvp games. If you want to be competitive, you have to spend a LOT of money, as card rewards are determined randomly. Repeat: even when you spend real money, you may not get cards that make you competitive. I played for a couple of months, but it only gets worse the longer you try. If you are hoping to build a deck through in-game rewards, you will end up facing long strings of opponents you have no chance of winning against.

Worst RNG of any game ever. The game definitely has potential. A good community, and is very fun... a little buggy but strategically sound. To be anywhere in the prize payouts that give you anything good whatsoever you have to PAY $$$ like any other game trending now a days. And let me tell you, this is the WORST RNG I’ve ever seen. It’s very disappointing when you either pay your own hard earned money or grind out for months and save up your in-game monetary units(gems/stones/etc.) and receive absolutely nothing in return. I’ve played this every day for over a year and have felt robbed. I will NEVER spend another cent on this game and will probably uninstall soon as it has become extremely lackluster. But if you don’t mind being a whale just to contend in the higher ranked areas, enjoy wasting your money. Very very disappointing.

This game is really good. I very much mike this game I really play it everyday and I have got good cards and I like how they can combo up to perform a unique picture of some episodes of the shows. I was laughing at one of the cards it was a family guy one the card was called paint ball with gun and I remember that episode it was so funny but yea overall I really like the cards and the game. But it will be even better if the super legendary cards and mystic cards can move like the pictures and do slight movement like in episode what they did it will be cool

Good game but needs adjustments. This is a nice card game that I really do enjoy. The animations are awesome and I like the detail of the game. Whenever I create a combo, I think of when the picture in the combo happened. The bots, like all other games, are rigged though. I don’t expect to win every time, but when you play the game, you can get mythics(rlly powerful) and I’m playing against a clan that is constantly pulling mythics. I lose every match except 1 and I look at the clan rank and it’s lower then mine. That is pure cap. Good game but maybe make the battles a little more realistic since it is almost impossible to pull mythics constantly

Offer wall scam. I’ve played this game and it’s gott a pretty high grind wall hidden behind a huge pay wall so they offer these offer walls to ensure you don’t have to pay to play. But this offer wall is a full scam I’ve completed 7 different offers and even paid in some just to never receive my in game currency. So I guess it is a def pay to play game cause the free option doesn’t work and when u get to a certain point in the game the grind wall is really high and the gems and other things like time and more lives that require gems to refill and unless you pay real cash for the gems or be able to do missions for some but you can’t do that if your energy refills are locked behind a gem wall and again the free option don’t work

Great game still has issues. I have been a fan and player of this game since it was first released and I have had no issues with it up until recently. Since about Halloween time this year every time I try and enter the game it will only work for so long before completely freezing and shutting the game out and sending me back to my home screen on my phone. I have checked for updates on numerous occasions to see if maybe that was the issue and there hasn’t been one that i have seen or had to do yet I continue to have the same issue of the game not letting me do anything. Besides that it is and has been a good game and I otherwise have no complaints with it

Better now than release!. Try tofc More tasks to partake in, as well as, much easier to level up your hero. Even a whale @ release had difficulties achieving lvl 10 hero’s. The mythic upgrades are a bit much seeing how difficult it is to acquire. Got bull$hit lucky, 14 days after returning since release I pulled a mythic from grandmother’s something or other. Resets each day and starts @ 25 gems. Now I’ve over 8 legendaries w/ the remaining rates w/over 100 combos researched. Kinda boring for now, very easy w/ this deck. Waaaaaa. Bit o humor. I wanted too see how many watts for a mythic and it stops me and stated. “ You can not recycle Mythic's. Are you insane.” I lol’d Peace and Love Nerds

Really good fun game. This game is a fun game. Some people may say it’s a pay to play game but it’s not, you just have to grind away playing it epically now that they have daily login rewards. when I first started playing there was no daily login rewards there was just the rewards for complete daily tasks in game. I played it for awhile but it was hard to level up and hard to do good in the group battles and i stopped playing it for awhile. I started playing it again awhile back and been playing it even since it’s easier to level up and upgrade cards. It’s is still challenging but with the daily rewards you eventually move on up.

Ridiculous unbalanced. The game is unbalanced and geared for you to lose. Many, many issues with game play. First, the AI that controls the bonus attributes for you as the player is terrible. 90% of the time it will pick the worst scenario for that attribute such as knocking down the attack when that card is going to be destroyed while leaving another card with full attack. There is no reason not to allow the player to pick what card to use each attribute on except to rig the game. Second, forget about ever getting a great run in the arena or the challenges because once you win a few in a row your “random” card draw will be all the support cards and you won’t see a legendary or epic until you are already crushed and behind the 8 ball. Nothing random about it, rigged to have you lose so you can’t get a great run. Third, research is ridiculously long. Any legendary card is a day at least. A FULL DAY for one combo which you may use once or twice a day if you are lucky and play a lot. Plus I purchased a pack that reduced my research time so that is even improved. What a joke. The game play is fun for a few days and then you realize you don’t have control and everything is slow as molasses. Fun is gone after theee days. Stay away.

All these in app purchase games should be banned. These games are all the same, garbage. Yeah their fun and cool and they even seem easy at first. Everything just falls in your direction. Then you hit the wall where they're hoping you'll spend as much money as they can squeeze out of you. Whether it's gems or gold or energy or coins, and when you do have enough to battle or play all of sudden your opponents are no longer easy. It's one giant scam hoping your addicted enough to spend. I try these games to kill time here and there but I always delete them, and would never give them my money. If it was a ONE time price and the game was worth it I would buy it, but that's the problem. People should stop giving money to these vulture companies and hopefully they would go away.

Love this game!. This game is really addicting! The wide rage of combos and all the different cards you can collect from all your favorite shows makes you wanna keep coming back to play more. The only thing I hate that really needs to change is the 8hr wait time for card research. That’s a bit extreme. 1 hr is fine , hell even up to 4hr wait time for extra rare cards is fine, but 8hrs!? Other then that I love everything else about the game. The king of the Hill cards are my favorite! Just a suggestions but The Simpson’s would make a great addition to this game. You guys already have futurama, it only seems natural to have The Simpsons in there too.

Fun until a certain point. I’ve played this game for a while. I do enjoy it. You will hit a plateau where it is harder to get quality cards and you feel you have to pay. This biggest issue I’ve had with the game is the tougher the match, the least likely you are to get combo hands. My deck is split right around 50/50 between character cards and the combo cards. I’ve gone so many matches that are lower, and I get so many combo options. When the matches get tougher, my character cards are nowhere to be found. I find it silly that out of 14 moves in a split, 30 card deck, I don’t get one character card. Overall this is a fun game. I just wish their algorithm didn’t take the combo options away in matches that matter.

Fun so far!. I'm a huge Futurama fan and so it's nice I can play as my favorite characters and the game seems smooth so far. Though I see a potential problem later on. It looks like once a player starts to fall behind, they stay their. So it appears it will be a game that you need to do good in the first two to three turns, otherwise you'll lose no matter what. But maybe they have something in place to balance or counter this issue. I'm new and so I'll see. But that is a big issue and if there isn't a way to counter it, I'll probably stop playing, even if I like the game as a whole.

Love the game but.... I haven’t really had the urge to spend any money. I do ok playing for free. My main complaint is how long it takes to level up.. in the arena and in general. There aren’t enough quests that offer leveling up points. And now when I play in the area I lose points when I lose, which wasn’t the case before making that take even longer which is ridiculous. I’ve been playing every day for awhile now. I should be able to level up quicker. Other than that it’s a fun game. But I may lose interest if I don’t start getting somewhere... you’re still making money off me when I watch your ads.

Happily Surprised. I have avoided this game for a while and finally caved and am happy for it! It’s really cool to see all the different cards and level them up! I find the battle process highly entertaining :) more so, I like that I feel like I actually have a chance to win significantly in the challenges, arena, and adventure mode :) it def promotes coming back if you don’t have a lot of time to play- it’s always saving my battles for me!! Thanks for making a truly unique and super fun game! I love the crossovers with the characters and cards :)

Great Game. I downloaded this game last night not thinking too much of it, let me tell you this game is so fun I have been playing it nonstop ever since. Of course I have always been a super big fan of king of the hill show so this game is awesome I absolutely love it, I also love the player versus player mode and I think that you can have a lot of fun going back-and-forth between your regular story mode and player mode. Just keep the updates coming in give us a better experience and I’ll continue to rate five stars for this.

I like the game but.... Pretty much every other time or so the app completely crashes anytime I try to watch a video on the ad crates, either right after the ad is done the app crashes and i don’t get the rewards or it does it right in the middle of the video. Sometimes the ad crates get saved for later by sometimes it used it and I don’t get the rewards. I’ve also purchased card packs and such and the app crashes and don’t get anything so that’s extremely frustrating. I like the game itself and the mechanics of it but there’s definitely some bugs. I haven’t always had this issue so badly maybe it just needs a new update 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great game. It really is a fun game, you have the option for micro transactions but you hardly need them, it cost 1000 to buy a card pack and you can play a couple rebounds and get that easily. You can play levels over multiple times and it gets harder and gives you more prizes (12x replay ability) and the energy rebuilds quickly and there’s different energy for every thing (pvp battles, story based, guild battles) so you can bounce around and have energy restored by the time you come back over all great game to play

Fix the bugs around the videos I'm tired of the game resetting. I have then playing this game for a long time and I'm absolutely hooked. But come on guys we have got to get these bugs fixed around the videos. Every time I get a crate and I try to watch a video game resets soooo I try to watch it again and guess what happens. I like the game enough that I have also invested some money into it which I normally refuse to do on just about any game. So it's hard to get five stars when this is been an ongoing problem since the beginning and it slowly gotten worse with the updates. Now it's at the point that I can't even think about doing them because it'll reset right in the middle of my game

Great game but needs work. I absolutely love this game and have even spent money for the first time ever on a game, but it crashes so often that I am actually considering uninstalling it. It’s to the point where I can’t purchase cards from the store, look at my deck or even complete a match without it crashing on me. It’s become completely out of control it crashed about a dozen times within a few mins the other day no exaggeration. I have spent a lot of time playing this game and again really enjoy playing it the mechanics are intuitive the dialogue is funny and the upgrade system is fun but it would be amazing if I could play it long enough to enjoy it without it crashing. Please fix!!!

If you spend a lot, u can cheat with backdoor deals!. I used to love this game and played since week 2 of release. However you will have to spend money to get good cards to be successful unfortunately. As game play expanded over the years with new game modes, I started spending more and more as I enjoyed playing with my guild. And the battles are very fun. But recently some big whales (spender) cheated by making backdoor deals with customer support to get ‘rotating random’ items not yet available to everyone!! Now as fix, Kong will offer all those items to everyone but you’d have to buy them w ‘gems’ instead of building your in-game ‘stone’ currency over time as designed. Support had always been great and fair but now i feel cheated and wasted thousands on this. So disappointing!

Terrible customer service. Don’t bother playing this game if you have any issues and expect any help from customer service. They take days to respond and aren’t very helpful when they do. Just a lot of generic basic answers which don’t require them to actually do any work to assist you. Also spending money on this game is also a waste of time because it would take a lot to even be able to compete with anyone in a top guild and you will rank very low in every event due to the way they set up events.(Both guild and individual) Unless you plan on spending thousands your wasting your money . It’s the only way you will end up ranking decent in events. Just don’t waste your time or money playing this game.

Played since launch, time to find something better. Too many games out there that don’t require watching ads. I’ve paid for VIP and can’t justify the money, I keep saying it’ll get better and it doesn’t. Packs are expensive, VIP gets rid of the 5min headache of ads daily but not much else, the end game grind is a little on the heavy side (but achievable). Drop most of your ads, bring in some sub $5 packs, bring out some endurance/gauntlet content where you battle up a ladder of antagonists using your entire deck, offer up some hero costumes and customization for a few bucks. Get away from those pennies you get for each ad view into an active player base and get back into a revenue stream that doesn’t require click-bait site tactics.

A fun take on a simple battle card game. Throw down is simple and easy enough to pick up right away, but has enough challenge to keep it from being boring (most of the time). Grinding some of the events can be tedious, and reward pools for different things feel unbalanced. I’d much rather grind story missions for cards over doing arena battles for example. I also feel like I run into decks that have cards my own deck haven’t nearly approached yet in terms of power, and those games don’t feel fair. The games style and plethora of cards keeps me interested, and the fusion mechanic adds a lot of fun and strategy.

Not Balanced. I enjoy the game and put many hours into it but ever since I reached level 16, the game has been a mess. I understand that if I go up in rank I have to battle in harder matches but the problem is, it is nearly impossible to level up my character when 70% of my matches are losses due to enemies having yellow cards (which I don’t have yet surprisingly) and higher level characters. I don’t dare play with a different character because it will take forever to level them up in the Secret Fight Club Arena. It seems like the game isn’t a pay to win but a “you can’t win unless you pay”. Even VIP pass isn’t enough to win unless you purchase everything else too.

Still doing this?. I played this game years ago and I can’t believe it’s still going. I was in a great guild (or clan, whatever) that was usually in the top ten of that time. The problem with AT is the OBSCENE amounts of cash it takes to remain competitive. Literally anyone who’s ever played this game will tell you the same. There’s new meta-warping cards released frequently and they are the complete opposite of cheap. It’s not uncommon for top players to spend hundreds per release and even keeping up with those who spend far less is pretty tough. Then there’s the fact that you get NOTHING for all that money. Can’t sell digital cards and they won’t allow you sell your account either. Unless you are quite wealthy then leave this one alone

My 2nd review. I originally reviewed this game harshly and hadn’t put enough time. The pvp is still p2w. But it limits how many times the people who buy packs can. So it helps some. But I’ve gotten so many purple cards in the short time since I started. I could never get past 5 win streak, now I’ve gotten 10+. As you progress you learn there is real strategy to this game . I no longer use any gray cards and the blue cards in my deck are dwindling down as well. My biggest complaint was the combo research time. But they give you a decent amount of speed ups and I since unlocked the ability for combo mastery which changes the game completely. Give the game some time it has only gotten better in my experience

Bug Bug Bug. It’s a good game takes time to build a nice deck! My problem is I’m completing quests and their not giving the rewards that come with completing these quests. I’ve already created 2 kongregate accounts in order to receive the (Kongregate to victory )quest and still have no received my reward and it’s not the only one I haven’t been rewarded for. Sometimes when I mix and match a card it freezes the app as well! Need to fix I would like my rewards please...

I love it but…. I just started playing this game today and while I’m having a lot of fun and getting a lot of cards. I don’t know how long this game will hold my attention. For the simply fact that researching the combos takes forever. And gems are expensive. My suggestions are to either all combos to be created as you upgrade the cards, lower the time it takes to research a combo. You could even just lower the amount of gems it would take to research asap or if spend $5 on gems it should be more than 400 gems. That’s only enough to spend up the research of 4 items. I need more than that for this game to stay interesting

The update crashed a really fun game.. It seems pretty frequent, they are having issues losing people’s whole accounts. Especially at how much money you can spend on this game app. It’s not pay to play, but it is definitely pay to win. And apparently it has had IOS problems for over a year. I’d say if your going to invest money be prepared to lose it. Honestly Dev’s with the amount of crashes,hacks,glitches. You should def stop accepting money, until you get this straightened out. Edit: Giving a higher rating, because I figured out how to resolve issue but still skeptical on something’s.

Fun, but…….. I do really enjoy the game when I’m not watching adds for 10 minutes trying to upgrade cards, only to have the app crash because it can’t run the adds properly. Adds to begin upgrades, adds to speed up upgrades, adds to open up rewards from battles, adds, adds, adds, and more adds and they crash the game ALL THE TIME. I have been reading a lot of other reviews and Developers aren’t unaware of these problems, lots of other people complaining about it so why no fix? You are just told to contact support so they can “investigate”. Please fix the game it is obviously not an individual’s problem.

Dopest Dope. Have only been playing the game for about two months but I have to say I'm totally addicted. It's not necessary to spend money to get a great deck no matter what some people thing. Yes in order to be in the top %5 of players you're probably gonna have to drop some dough, but thousands of dollars? Haha that's a ridiculous overstatement, only thing I have bought was the research upgrade for 10 bucks ( and I definitely advise it). All in all this is a great game, and if you want to play for free you can and still own people left and right as long as you know how to build a deck around whatever cards are getting bonuses for that month, 5 stars hands down

The method for collecting cards make it impossible to be popular. It’s a good game. Comparing with some other card collection games, it’s great to see so many combinations and well designed cards. But, it’s too difficult to collect epic or legendary cards for most guys. We have to pay dollars for that. We can see many guys in the guild quit after playing for couple of weeks. It’s hard to attract new and long term gamers. Besides, Its hard for you to carry out competing modes in which players can compete with each other at the same time. The cards are well designed. Please make it more popular and allowable to more game players. We don’t want to see the game have no man to play with.

Great game!. I’ve been playing about 6 months now and I think it’s pretty amazing. You can play casual or get more intense. There is still a lot I haven’t unlocked. You can spend money or not, and still enjoy the game. You can watch ads or not, you are rewarded if you do. You can miss a day or two without penalty. You can play in a guild or not. It is a bit complicated and it took me a little while to figure it out but it was still fun figuring it out. Fits better on a phone, my one gripe is you can’t see your cards as well on iPad. Love all the characters and recognizing the different cards or costumes from episodes in the show. Great fun

This game is bad.. Not only are you NOT going against other players(the game will give them names and clans to try and make them look like actual players, they aren’t), but the game puts you into situations where you’re guaranteed to lose. I just downloaded the game played for about 15 mins and won 2 matches in a row. The game decided to put me against an AI pretending to be a player that had more than double my health, abilities that activates every turn when I had none, and also cards that had almost double the health that any of my cards had. It was a losing situation. There was no possible way to win. Difficulty is cool and all but that is absolutely ridiculous. Terrible terrible game. Don’t bother downloading.

Greasy Money Grab🤮. ⚠️WARNING⚠️Don’t waste money on this game❗️- it is a straight up sleazy money grab that is rigged and against you unless you spend money. The company literally tries to frustrate you to get you to spend money. If Im going to throw money at an app it’s because Im having fun- not because the game is rigged and slanted against me( which this one definitely is) The matches are slanted against the attacker, and what you get in return for what you spend is nowhere worth it. Even when you DO spend money they bone you by giving you the crappiest prize they can most of the time. The whole thing is a full on greasy money grab that is trying to rip you off, and take your money without giving you anything decent in return. Bogus, grimy, greasy, sleazy, greedy money grab are the nicest things I can say about this steaming pile of garbage.

Great game, but crashes during events. My favorite game for years! Absolutely worth 5 stars, but I can only give it 4. The only problem which seems to have gotten worse over time is server issues during events, rumble especially. It will lose server connection multiple times during your 10-turn run. Most the time it allows you to resume, but you’ll find yourself unable too every other server loss and you will be given a loss. This has been an issue for many players and I have sadly seen many people leave the game because it leads to unfair advantages and needless stress. If they could put more effort into fixing this, it would be 5-stars no question!

Too bad it didn’t stay good. :(. Update: game crashes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. haven’t seen my cards or combo potentials for months and months. Loved this game once upon a time; I have continually sent messages to support, to no avail. So it is with heavy heart that I must delete the game. Someday I will try again, but my overall conception on Kongregate suffers. I will always remember fondly the game I loved playing and Kongregate being responsible for non-action. Very disappointing. I am so far quite impressed. If you're anything like me, (and I know I am!) you like the cartoons featured herein and this game attempts to have it all. No Simpsons but I assume it's because of licensing concerns. Anyway, like I say, this game is pretty cool so far. I guess after a while the "fun" or surprise of a new card or combo would wear off. But I suppose you can always buy more stuff for novelty. Totally recommended! (Pending further review)

Actually enjoy the hell out of it. It honestly starts off slow. Like way too easy slow and the whole time I was worried it was going to be another meaningless game. I was wrong! It's actually skills and remembering what you have in your deck, your upgrades as well as researching combos. So far it's not a game that insists I have to buy things to upgrade my deck although it gives the option and at pretty decent pricing. Through the quests and challenges I'm able to accumulate needed "points" to get my cards leveled. Totally worth the download!

Needs fixes. Okay first of all! You need money which I will never spend on this game cuz of how expensive it is and I rather buy a plate of food! Second ! the arena fights is random and hard to get to 15+ and after you unlock the secret fight club you get insanely harder players with all mythical and legendary card. (Advice for players if you are lvl 1-15 and have epic and a few legendary cards, after you unlock “secret club fight” don’t play no more! You’ll be reset if you lose your crowns) Third! Is so hard to get a mythical card! Even if you spend a couple of dollars you will not get mythical! Also can you fix the arena after we unlock the “secret club fight” either make opponents fair to our level with epic cards or not reset us back if we lose our crowns! Fourth! This game instead of enjoyable becomes boring and frustrating after you complete all your challenges. 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 The game is enjoyable for a while then. You’ll be 100+ years when you get a mythical card without spending real money. Trust me played this game a few years back deleted cuz of it! Tried again a few months back and it’s the same! 👾👾👾👾 Update* please surprise your fans!

Fun but Quirky. The game offers hours of fun but is aggravating in a few ways. One being the recharge time for both Arena and Adventure play takes FOOORRRRRREEEEEVVVVVVEEEERRRRR. Another is the match making for arena isn’t experience based. I was level 3 with 75% of my deck still being and getting matched up against players who seemed to have an endless supply of legendary cards. Felt like two rounds and I was done for and I’d get these guys back to back to back to back and waste 3-4 turns in arena mode. Also every time I try to watch a video crate it freezes no matter what have had the max 5/5 crates but can’t do anything cause they just freeze up on me. Apart from this the game is friggin sweet.

Loving this game. I started this game and I am enjoying it to the max. Only issue I am having is it sometimes states there’s no connection to the server or the screen has a black loading screen when trying to save/if an ad doesn’t load correctly. When fusing cards it takes a while for it to load the fusion, and once the game said no connection to the server and I had to re upgrade cards from the past save point. I want to clarify I have my 5G WiFi on and backup data on that works fine for everything else.

I played this game a long time ago but I had to delete it for storage reasons and I found my iPad and I made a new account and I have about 35gb left in my storage I only have 64 but I thought about this game and I had a hard time figuring out the name of this game but this game was really a game changer I wish I got give a 6/5 but I love this game soooo god d@mn much and I have 2 epic cards but what’s funny about this is that I just started last night lol you can tell how much fun I’m having bahahahahahahahahahaha ! Anyway in conclusion if anyone read this entire Review here’s a message DOWNLOAD THE GAAAAAAAAAME YOU'LL SEE HOW MUCH FUN YOU WILL HAAAAAAAVE !!!

If you like American Dad, and Family Guy, then get this game!!!. This game is hilarious! I’ve played Little Alchemist by Kongregate and this feels like a grown up version of that game. If you’re at all a fan of shows like American Dad, Futurama, and Family Guy then definitely get this game! It’s a great tribute to most of the great adult-oriented cartoon shows you see on TV today. My one criticism is that the mechanics of the card game itself are a little weird. Once you start losing there’s nearly no way to come back from it. I guess they designed it that way to make the game more fast-paced. However, all-in-all its an awesome game and you’re guaranteed to laugh at their little Easter eggs they put throughout the game.

Fun and all but..... The game is pretty fun and addictive but I wish the Offerwall rewards actually worked the way they should. I’ve completed 4 far (making sure I meet all the requirements) and I’ve only been rewarded once. Any other time (including the ones where you need to make a purchase in another app) after I meet the requirements and go back to the animation Throwdown app the screen is just black and stays black. So I exit the game and go in again, and of course no gems were rewarded. I should have been rewarded about 6,520 Gems for the other 3 completed offers but those never rewarded I’m assuming because of the black screen. ... It’s a fun game to play but I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money trying to complete the offerwall offers because there’s a good chance they just won’t work..
