Good dog!. Wasn't sure if it was actually doing anything until I got an alert that my data had been breached and my email address was listed on a spam list. It showed me where and when the breach occurred AND what you do about it. I'M VERY IMPRESSED! I never leave reviews (just stars) but I felt compelled to share my opinion on this one. Thank you developers for having my back! It's nice to know that someone who knows what they are looking for can use that knowledge to protect my data instead of selling it.

No Customer Support. It’s horrible! I have written 4 1/2 times to them in ten 10 months and never received any answer at all. Not one word. 4 and one half is because the 5th time I tried to leave a comment through the app it would not send my comment. I give up! I need a security application I can count on. As it feels now I just send them money to do nothing but throw a little animated picture up when I log in. I thought this would be a good app to protect my phone now I am just disappointed.

Couldn’t use?. I really need something to help with my data security. I unfortunately have a sadistic person in my life I need to be wary of. I was hoping this would help. Unfortunately I downloaded it and accepted push notifications and the screen went white. I attempted to uninstall it and reinstall it again- it did the same thing. Too bad. I’ll have to look elsewhere.

Not the great product it’s touted to be. First of all do NOT subscribe if your going to run multiple copies on the family plan. They want you to pay for each device you run it on. Secondly, if you attempt to run it on an iPad in landscape mode, be prepared to turn your iPad around a lot. It switches between portrait and landscape in some random manner. Lastly, I’m not really convinced that it’s doing anything other than displaying some canned messages. And I truly hope that the app does as it says and doesn’t save passwords. I’ve just gone in and changed the two I gave it.

Had LogDog since 2017 & I am now disappointed. I have tried contacting them by email 2 times. Both times I received a ‘got your message and will be with you soon’ but it has now been weeks and no reply. I have truly been a fan of LogDog but recently I noticed a problem and tried to get their help.... no reply. I just looked to see about canceling my subscription but I have not yet found where I can do that. Ugh! Please LogDog redeem yourself!!! New edit: I got a reply from LogDog through this review, bu when I hit the 'contact the.....' it goes to a list of questions and answers. I still have no way to communicate my concerns directly to them. Please help.

Awesome. I literally freaked out when I saw the virus pop up, I only had 4 minutes and I just kept searching for something that could help. And, surprisingly this was sooo good, I thought this wouldn't work, but I really underestimated this. Thank you so much for whoever made this app.

Logdog. This is a great app but I seriously can’t afford to pay to keep my phone protected. I’ve alteady have had my google home mini hacked and thru that I’ve had my adt security system hacked then my own family members have broke into to my home(not including the door knobs and deadbolt they’ve broken). Including hacking my google home mini mini which they used to sync up my adt system to and disarm it so I seriously cannot pay for this app. However if I get proof that they are the ones hacking my equipment and it shows their names or Ip addresses or phone numbers. Then I will file charges and I WILL MIST DEFINATELY SUE THE CRAP OUT OF ALL OF THEM. Because not only have they done all of these things they’ve also robbed me blind!!! So please get me any of the afor mentioned things and I most certainly will pay for this app!!!!! Thank You Ms. Carrie Minyard

Blurry directions after clicking FIX. My subscription was renewed and I had 8 bugs to fix. Can’t read anything after I click on FIX as the writing is blurred out. So here I sit after $60. plus tax was withdrawn from my account through Apple. I have notified them 4 times and they got back to me with the same reply that they are looking into it or something to that affect. Four days have gone by and still have 8 at risks. This is no different than if I had thrown $60. in the garbage. DO NOT purchase this app and I rate it as a big fat 0.

My daughter was on a bad website. My phone told me that my phone had been on adult sites and i had 4 viruses and if I didn’t take care of them my phone would shut down for good so I downloaded this app and it protected my phone from shutting down

iPhone 6, Keeps Deactivating it’s self. Customer/technical support. I’ve requested a refund and was referred to the app, which doesn’t have that option. - LogDog, send a message “LogDog deactivated for 24 hours.” Submitting a trouble ticket is like playing the lottery, ZenDesk responses do not address the issues nor do the understand the problem. - Sent in a suggestion and mentioned a hacking incident the happened 8mo ago. Response off topic, referencing 8mo old incident, and totally ignored my suggest/recommendation.

Big Improvement. I had LogDog a few years ago and had to many bugs to get it to work properly. I’ve decided to try it again and have found it to be greatly improved since my last version. The LogDog techs have been busy and have a quality product!

I like it. I’m surprised because I just joined apple and they make you pay for everything when it comes to apps, but this is really useful check my emails and other accounts for free ... ight I like this. Ps. I almost didn’t write this because so many usernames are taken . Little annoying

Good but I may have a glitch?. It works pretty good and protects everything I pay it to protect but sometimes it glitches and says ‘Error Failed to register. Make sure you are connected to the internet.’ When I am connected to WiFi and it’s starting to get frustrating.

Love it!. Where’s this app been all my life? This is personal login tracking I’ve been looking for! Easy to educate its security settings, very intuitive to use. A little expensive, perhaps, but worth it. This tells you in real time about potential intrusions. I’m hooked.

Not Working and No Response. This app quit working on my phone in December. I reached out in January and February via the support section in the app, which generated an e-mail. I received an automated response that Log Dog had received my message, but there was never any response, even after multiple e-mails. I wouldn’t expect a response from a free service, but I am a paying customer. I won’t be at the end of my subscription term. I will not pay for a service that doesn’t work from a company with zero customer service.

Very useful if I can get it to work. I paid for one month to test this app. It is successfully protecting my Facebook and Instagram, but I can't get it to work for my Yahoo and Google. The Google login is weird. After I enter my user name it takes me to a password entry page that is all in Spanish. When I enter my password it doesn't recognize me. Almost feels like I'm being phished. I will be glad to buy a year subscription and rate it higher if I can get it to work properly.

Rkpublic1. Now I have the best app I’ve been looking for and I trust. This app makes me feel safe, alerting me, telling me who tried to get in. And they paused the moment it happened so I can fix it. Thank you for your easy to use. That really is safe. I could talk positives to this app.

Not too happy. Here I am all set to get out the old credit card and I take one final step. I always look over the terms and conditions and the privacy policy since I found out companies like to sell the oddest stuff to others. Your company has a big problem!!! No way around this could I get either of those two to open for me. I tried multiple times, the twirling astrik always appeared but your policy’s would not open. And I’m going to trust you with all my stuff, Mhhh? NO!!!

A little confused. I downloaded the free 7 day trail and it is saying I have 7 things at risk. Well I tried to protect them and it says error for google and error no host name for this account for Facebook. So how am I supposed to fix the problem if LogDog isn’t helping me even get into even my yahoo is saying not correct email? Please help me figure this out because I know that data is being stolen and my accounts are hacked.. Thank you then I will fix my rating..

Better updates. It is much easier to manage accounts accessing your email now. Before it was tedious to scroll and find specific email and go they the unsubscribe process (often by actual phone call!) Now I can simply block access thru the app in one step! Keep those types of things coming! Thank you!

Okay. My phone recently said it had a virus and the link on it led me to this. I did the trial and I felt safe for those days but then the trial ended. I refuse to pay monthly because I disagree with paying just so your information won’t be stolen and sold online. Paying for your phone to be protected is the equivalent to paying for food at a grocery store, getting home and then paying again just to eat it. Paying is mandatory but unfair.

Love it. The App is great,someone had sent a virus out on PM and I didn’t open it but was worried an my phone was acting strange so I purchased the App an found risk,now there all gone an I’m protected,my only Quirk with this is it keeps telling me to Activate google an FB and I already had so I did again an it said these have already been activated An are protected but they all still show they need activated,oh well at least they are protected I guess

Very Poor Customer Service. If I could give it zero for stars I would!! LogDog is a rip-off company and the public needs to know. I’ve never seen a company that if you purchase something from them and it is faulty or does not work ...you can’t get your money back. This app has NEVER worked for my phone ever since I have had it. I purchased this app in July 2019. What makes matters worse is that Apple also took a sort of hands off approach about getting my money back. I wrote the LogDog company immediately in July after purchasing and their customer service reps NEVER RESPONDED OR TRIED TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!! Had to delete the app. I never got my money back. And I will never buy it ever again.

Love This App.. The best security ever Get This App! Also my husband was about to make a purchase unknowingly the seller was from the dark web. Log Dog contacted me and wasn’t about to let the purchase go until We approved it we fixed that by one touch back to Log Dog ❤️

Great but has flaws. This app is great! It has media Protector, credit card protecter, and even phone protection! BUT it does not have 4chan or Reddit. Which I need protected the most. It also has flaws in the credit card because instead of entering info about the card, it just uses name, country, and zip/postal.

Very good. I would give it a 5 star rating but for the price they need to expand what they are offering there are other email service they need to include and other services would make the app more useful

Good but..... I unfortunately have an MSN email account. The good news is no one has ever been able to login to it. The bad news is because it’s MSN, It seems according to LogDog, the people from all over the world are trying to login every hour to hour and a half. They sent me an alert every time this happens. The problem is it asks me to change my password every single time and you cannot clear the notification until you do. The app does not recognize whether it is a successful or failed login attempt. Other than constant notifications that you can’t clear. I really like the protection it goes for all my other apps on my phone.

Battery Drainer. App does what it says and covers all I needed it too. Not all the extra junk on other Apps that I didn’t have to lose memory and not use. But it keeps draining my iPhones battery life over an 5 hour period. From a 100% to 10% where before a 100% charge would last a day and a half. So what’s up with that??? Is there a good reason that this app that was to protect my phone from getting invaded by hackers and viruses is now causing me to have to search for plugs and ports to Recharge it multiple times a Day??? Paid for a year of This Protection App Already now it’s cost me for two extra house and car chargers too for when I leave the home. That is not right at all, fix this or give me a solution for this problem!!!!!

My first shot. Ok so I just recently got this app and it was correct. Google had notified me that I was having a virus. I was testing this app to see if it’s correct . I understand that hackers try to log into others accounts 24/7 but can’t u wait until a hacker gets into your account? Just asking!

Noice. I’m only a 12 year old and recently I almost got hacked but this help the one thing is I don’t have a credit card nor iOS so I think there should be a update where it asks you certain things so you don’t have extra nonfictions

Love the App!. What an App! So far so good! In reference to a prior review about the guy complaining about battery drain and being bothered with having to recharge. BOO HOO! Would you rather have the slight inconvenience of having to recharge or face a lifetime of recovering from being hacked! I will deal will a slight inconvenience now! My LogDog Experience. I absolutely LOVE this app I signed in to this app by Facebook and it send me a notification that someone signed in a app with my Facebook account but it give you the option to say it was me if it is you or protect me if it isn’t you. I love it recommend for everybody! Great app!

Great even if you have everything!. I really believed I had tried em all and seen it all as far as what info of mine has been exposed but I was totally wrong! After installing lapdog, I was alerted to secure accounts I had forgotten about that were associated with totally different devices and email from a long time ago which was surprising. Most surprising was that I was alerted about data breaches I knew had occurred but had no idea what was stolen yet this app provided me with the specific details so that I was able to fill out more on my reports to the FTC..using the link provided with the breach info. I def am impressed and the best part is the super fast VPN!

Not really worth the money. The alerts I would get were for my own activity on my email account, and it was quite excessive. Even though I was a paying subscriber it seemed as if the alerts of my own activity were only to try to upsell me to pay more. Google just emailed me to say they were disabling logdog for not complying with their updated privacy requirements, which of course makes me have even less trust. I had high hopes for this app and thought it was going to be great. Sadly I was disappointed.

Already changed my password?. I got an alert that said someone logged into my acc. I of course changed my password, I look back and scan again,it says that someone logged into my acc? I go and change my password again. It says you already changed your password. I don’t understand. I already fixed it and it still saying there’s a risk....what?

Wonderful. This app is awesome. I was hacked on the internet and when I was scared on what to do I found this app. I came up positive for having my credit card and google hacked but it was cleaned and hopefully stays that way. Overall this is a great app!

Delete my account info please. I’m no longer interested in your product. Please delete my info and account. 1)You have an FAQ section with 18 questions. I’m not convinced there are the most asked questions. 2) There also is no way to contact you from that Link. Or another, although 5 min in the app i knew it wasn’t looking great. 3) When in the app: faq>hyperlink browser >the menu (Hamburger, drawer, 3 lines, top right corner, etc.) indicates there are options to the page or additional sub categories. I’ve done everything except a back hand spring-roundoff-double back flip to select and explore the possibilities, yet nothing happens. Maybe It is because the enormous banner to download the already downloaded app is taking up so much room?🤷🏻‍♂️ 4) the info necessary to protect your account info/identity happened to be exactly the info needed to Highjack my soul. Heres a thought. Why not have links that actually prove the results you boast. Im not certain how, but then again its not my job to do yours. Comply, ~av

Safety Concerns. After downloading this app, and reading the reviews I felt somewhat confident that it would do what it says. However, I entered two of my email addresses so it could scan both accounts, without having to entered the passwords it scan them both, soon after it said both accounts were compromised... Questionable, being that my husband downloaded the same and he entered his password so it could be scan and monitored, it took an entire day for them to tell him it was compromised with the same date as mine was and company name too. I very rarely get spam emails on my iCloud email, guess what...now I’m getting them daily is ridiculous...reported it to Apple and deleted the app and so did my husband. I will not recommend this app.

Outstanding app!. Great App. I have someone that’s stalking harassing me. I had over 70 alerts in few months. Someone was logging in to my accounts when I wasn’t even on my phone. Some alerts you get the IP addresses and device types or location helpful.

Assume App. I really wasn’t sure if this app was worth the down load but after trying it out for a couple of weeks I’m finding it very useful. I wasn’t aware of a few log-ins via remote servers to my FB account. The alerts do give me a sense of having some much needed control of how my email is being used and how much it appears in various locations that surprised really surprised me. Overall it’s useful and intuitive. Great app!

Only one app, but it does it all. I read an article about security apps, and what it said about this one inspired me to immediately go to my App Store and buy it. Not only does this app cover security breaches, it also scans for viruses and searches to make sure that none of my data has been stolen. Of course, this third function only pertains to data on my phone - it cannot investigate anything that might happen on a different server. One function I really appreciate is that I get notifications if something has been detected that I need to look into. For example, if someone else logs into one of my apps, or even if I log into one on a different device, I get a notification. That way I can either beef up security in that app or let the app record this device as one that I use. I’m very pleased with this app.

Is LogDog still around???. I was pretty satisfied with LogDog until the beginning of August when all of a sudden I get error messages stating I need to have internet access - which I do - and the app won’t come up so I can do a scan. I’ve taken it off my phone and reinstalled x3 for sure and still the same message. I sent a message to LogDog a few days back and only the canned response of receipt of my inquiry. What gives??? Very frustrated and wondering what’s going on with this company and their app. Proceed with caution!

Top Five best Security App. I’ve been with LogDog over a year now and all I can say is how well their protection for my phone has saved me many headaches. If something doesn’t seem right in my nature of using my phone....I get alerted immediately to investigate the change/intrusion or log in from a different location/device or machine. They know my habits...when anything no matter how Big or Small happens to any of my accounts or device ... they quickly send a alert to find out if I am the individual responsible for .. or.. someone else trying to gain entry into my device or accounts. Sometimes I get alittle upset at them because I can’t talk to a physical person... I will be extremely happy when they get a 1-800 number....Otherwise I rate this service with ( 4 stars ) in stead of 5 because whether I can see it or not....their is allways room to do better. After installing. I’ve had my new phone for about a week now. It hasn’t had any problems until after I installed this app. I was talking to a Karen from this app about how I wanted too not use it. Because I didn’t want to pay for it. Then I got a alert saying someone near Phoenix Arizona tried to log into my account. Personally I think it was a scare tactic by them. To encourage me to subscribe. Or I could just be being paranoid.

My watchdog. It’s a pleasure to have an app that works for Me instead of the Other way around. It alerts me to problems I need to know about and just fixes the others that it knows need attention. All apps have differences this is the best one I’ve found in its class

This app sometimes does not work well. At first this app seemed to do well at protecting and checking. I currently have three apps which it refuses to clear with my login, and continuously gives me at risk messages even after logging in and running a scan. In one case I’m urged to upgrade am app with a payment which is not something I want to do. It has become more irksome rather than giving me any peace of mind.

Idk. It won’t load.. This happened before about an month ago when attempted purchasing. I would like to have the option or quit wasting my time with blank apps

I wish it was free. I downloaded logdog a while ago after comparing it with several other apps. I think it is excellent. It identified some suspicious activities in my account and I can see it is keeping watch over my activities. It’s great but I have a problem, I want it to be free of charge. Thanks, Adam😭

Great when it is active. This app is good, but stops to let you know there is a problem. Fixing the problem—-it goes back to work. But, it seems like it stops too often!? The problem seems the same as last time!

Just a few glitches. The only problem I had was that it wouldn’t let me add my twitter account because it said browser not supported, and my instagram which would never make it to the login page, it would just stay loading forever.

App keeps crashing after update version 5.4.1. I been using log dog for a bit unfortunately it now keeps crashing after a update on iOS 5.4.1 Please release a update!!! 😠

Bad services. The idea is good, but suddenly the app started closing in the middle of simple functions. I wrote them asking for help and nothing happens. I’ve been following up and I’m getting no answers. Pretty bad service.

Can you start working. I used this app for 1 year. It did a great job of alerting me on suspicious activity. Into my second year with it and it keeps telling me to upgrade,Which I have now over paid and I’m still not getting anywhere with it. Why is it telling me to upgrade when I have already?

App is great alerting you with breaches etc…. However this app crashes ALOT. Most times I open the app it “fails to register” and just crashes, I have to close it a few times to get it to actually work. This error has been happening for a while now. I deleted the app months ago as the constant crashing was doing my head in. I subscribed to it again a couple of weeks ago, hoping the problem would be fixed by now, but still no. If you can fix this bud it would be great. Thank you :)

Good app but needs tweaking. This app does a good job but I keep getting messages to say mail has been sent at an unusual time when it’s during normal business hours.

Let’s me know what is a security risk on my devices and cards.. This app does a great job at alerting people to the security risks on your devices and cards. I’m not sure how it goes at isolating and killing an actual bug because it’s early days yet but I feel like it’s a good program so far! I feel like I will keep it :))!!

Don’t waste your money!. LogDog reminds me of the ‘boy who cried wolf’ story from my childhood. From the start , with just about every email I sent, I received an alert from LogDog. This alert requires you to go into the App, select several options & the Phone will then ‘be secure’. OMG, the wasted time spent on this. After the first few alerts asking if location was Home/Work etc I have have received an untold amount of alerts stating that an ‘email was sent at a time that was unusual for you’. Any time of the day or night I would get this response. I contacted the Developer & received a reply that my email would be passed along. What can I say, No, no, no - I have turned LogDog notifications off because I can’t trust the alert to be true. The icon number is now so high that I hide it. What annoys me is that if there was a genuine alert I wouldn’t know about it because presently they are false with no end in sight. I have also received spam requests of fake bills etc in the email inbox & messages app but these did not get a LogDog alert when I checked the App. My recommendation is to stay way.

Credit card protections. Hi I try to set up my credit card protection and they ask me my name, zip code, and country but in Canada we don’t have a zip code we have post code and when I put it, they don’t accept it, they always ask me for my zip code? What I suppose to do whit that?

What are the maximum parameters?. What is the max # of emails protected and scanned? When signing into my yahoo account, I had problems and now my account is disabled off my phone! Disappeared! When will LogDog answer my questions I have submitted?

Now too expensive. I think it is a good app and have it since a while but at a bit less than 100 a year, I will look for an alternative....

Great app!. It really is a great app my only problem is that i have an aversion to purchasing online as i have bad experiences with people ( not log dog ) somehow managing to purchase stuff with my online credit , and so after free trial was up i had to throw in the dog towel. If the free trial was never ending or if some was free but had to purchase upgrade i would still be using it, but then how would logdog make a living?

Awful. Stonewalling. This a paid subscription and they have the nerve to let their product ride out like this.

Mechanic. Love this app ! Very professional done, easy quick, and reliable.Never check my e-mails without putting them through LOGDOG ! The security threats they have already found,just the first couple of uses have more than payed for this app for the year!!This is an app that (DOES WORK) and does not take up space on your phone!!
