Simple and full features. I love this app. I’m relearning the piano and it’s so much better than the old metronomes. A lovely feature is that metronome settings are labeled with their terms such as allegreto. I only knew approximately those terms. Also you can set a seasonal color...and I had a question and got a quick answer.

Exercise Timer. I use Smart Metronome to time my daily exercise/stretching routine. Without Metronome my sessions get shorter and shorter, with it they are consistent every time. No extra frills, just what I wanted. Excellent app. Thank you! Dbrucecole

Best simple metronome/tuner. This is exactly what I was looking for, a basic metronome and tuner without all the fancy bells and whistles that all the other ones try to sell you on. For a very cheap one time fee this is all I’ll ever need, I don’t wanna pay some monthly fee for a bunch of stuff I’m never gonna use. Great job folks keep it coming!

Nice metronome/tuner for my iPhone. I play bass trombone and this metronome/tuner app for my cell phone is the bomb!!!! You can spend a lot of money on these items…but i don’t have to carry them around in my case…I don’t need to buy batteries or have extra cables to plug into the wall. Plus I can bluetooth connect to external speaker systems. I am so glad I found this app!!!

Get it. It’s a perfect application. In short, it’s a metronome with a few important options but not too many which can be overwhelming. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it very well. Final word to musicians, get it and use it, you will never become very good without a metronome

Great but needs an Apple Watch version. Glad to pay for such a great iPhone and iPad app, but this would be amazing to have as a native Apple Watch app! For those of us who lead music, a way to keep the timing during practice, a pitch pipe, and a way to see our tuning would all merit the last star.

Best metronome I’ve found!. I teach band grades 5 through 10 and have tried several metronome apps. They all worked but many were clunky and non-intuitive. This metronome covers all the bases with a very short learning curve. I like how easy it is to change tempos and time signatures. Highly recommended!

My new favorite app. With COVID 19 lockdown, I found my timing on guitar was starting to get sloppy. This simple but really well thought out app has improved my timing and groove tremendously. The swing needle is great for helping me get in the groove. Totally worth getting the premium version of this. Indispensible.

Highly Functional & Simple to Use Metronome App. Quality programming visual and sound. I clip my phone to my music stand when practicing my bass and the pendulum emulates a conductor’s baton. Also the sequencing tool is very helpful when working with changing tempos.

Great basic metronome with timer feature. Great basic metronome with timer feature that allows you to set up practice routines according to time for each section. I find the tap tempo and slider to adjust tempo to be especially convenient both in personal practice and teaching contexts. Thanks to the developers for a solid and reliable product!

Pretty good!. This is an incredibly useful app to me as I prep for studio recording, or simply want to tighten my rhythmic sensibility. The only critique is that I used to have a metronome app that I could program accents throughout the entire cycle of the rhythm. I would love to see that feature again, as I play in some very complex and odd rhythms.

Best metronome app!. This is by far the best metronome app I’ve used, both in terms of features and also design. Awesome flexibility: time signatures, emphasis, sounds, grooves, and even color schemes. So much better than other apps I’ve used.

Great, full-featured app. I was using a different metronome app, but needed one that would tell you the tempo based on tapping the screen. I found this one and have not been disappointed. This app does everything I could hope for, except one... It would be cool if there was an option to display the animated beat pattern of a conductor. I teach piano to some kids who will play in church meetings and they need to learn to follow the chorister. Even without my one wish, this is a great app!! Update October 2020. This is still my favorite metronome app! I mostly use it when teaching piano and it is priceless. I tell my students it’s like a treadmill for musicians, to help keep a steady pace and incrementally speed up as you improve. Great app!!

Plus and minus. This metronome is handy and in some respects probably has more to offer than most people might need. The instructions for using the tuning option is sketchy- even after contacting the webmaster and developer. Several questions about “what do you do if you want to: .” YouTube is partially in Japanese which I can’t do anything with. But the cost for the non ad version (3.99) is minimal.

Would be useful in Apple Watch. Hope you add this functionality!

Not great. The metronome uses an old mechanical metronome “swinging weight” graphic. As the metronome arm swings the click is in the 12 o’clock position instead of when the arm reaches its left or right position. Very disconcerting to watch while playing. And there is no flashing light of anything very visual to lock on to. I wish I could have tried it before I bought it. I wouldn’t have.

Fantastic app!. I’m not going to beat around the bush, when explaining at sixty seven year’s old I had never been successful to see the results of a metronome work for me. This app has forever changed my entire perspective and made it so easy to learn and to polish my skills in bluegrass guitar. Can’t be more thankful.

Well worth it. Practicing with the metronome will really improve your playing. I wish I had this for the last 20 years I would be a much better player.
