Great game with consistent bugs. Th8s game is excellent but every other game or so it “jams” and I have to abandon my game. It is really annoying and prevents me from rating 5 stars

👍🏻. I love everything about this game! The game is fun, and I love the stitching around the pieces, beautiful pieces and fitting them together into beautiful quilts! It’s a great adaptation of the game I love!

Tutorial broken?. Tutorial is fixed now, thanks! Love the game.

Don’t upgrade to version 2.0!. They bricked it. Version 2 stalls on startup!

Game has problems. I like this game, but I’ve only been able to play against the AI. Every time I try to access interactive games I get a message telling me to login to Game Center. Since Game Center doesn't exist anymore, I can’t really do that. I can’t seem to find another way to access the online games. Aggravating.

Requires an update. I like the game, but I find the app way too busy. Too much movement and visual noise in the background. The extra theme in the app does little to enhance gameplay; I think it detracts from it, actually. Most significantly, games against the hard AI are unplayable because the “pass” option (a crucial element of the game) disappears after the first move. Lastly, I question whether the medium AI is actually a “medium” difficulty. I’ve played roughly 2 dozen games against it and won 3 or 4. (It’s entirely possible that I’m just a cruddy Patchwork player, though!)

Pretty good game, but UI is kind of annoying. I’d prefer more text and fewer iconography.

Enjoy the game but it keeps getting stuck. Love the game; it's one of my favorites! When I play online games with other players I keep getting stuck on one game... I can't switch to make a move on the others. I have to completely shut down and restart my iPad to reset the game.

Bad Update Oct 2022. Love this game and app but after the update this weekend the app won’t open anymore, it’s stuck on the DIGIDICED/Twin Sails publisher screen :( please fix!!!!

Game will not load. I just purchased this game and it will not load. I just get sent back to my Home Screen. Useless.

Fabulous but waiting for updates. Really no complaints about the general gameplay as it works fabulously. Love love the game. However, I do wish it was optimized for the iphoneX . Too pretty a game to not take advantage of that.

Scoring is broken. This version will not credit local player with the 7-point bonus :-/ please fix! Also, very laggy when playing the hard AI. I do like the game, overall.

“Hard” is supposed to be “Hard”... but.... The AI is developed in a way that requires you to go first. The pieces are then strategically set w “traps” that the AI uses to its advantage. (Ex. Game starts w three pieces that all cost 3+ buttons and or take 5 turns, followed “conveniently” by three pieces of low cost and low moves.) Once you start to learn to look out for this, you can skip your turn (to force the AI to select a piece)... but then the AI skips their turn, you skip yours... repetitive loop until you get halfway across the board skipping turns and the AI has the algorithm of finally knowing it can grab a piece and force things along. I’m all about the challenge and the AI being super tough- but the strategic piece placement forcing you to just skip turns for half the game... pretty lame.

The game cheats. Since the last update, the game cheats. Out of 40+ games I could only win one. I’ve played this a long time so I’m not new to this. It’s just the way the pieces come in perfect order to make sure you lose.

What are the rules?. Would be a fun game if I knew how to play, but there aren't any rules.

Was a great game.. This game was amazing. The latest release changed the timing of the animations so now everything is either super slow and painful to wait through or too fast to follow. There’s also no way I can find to change the animation speed while in a game

No longer able to play. I love this game and was looking to play with family during this time of social distancing, but the fact that new iPhones don’t have Game Center apparently makes it do that I cannot login. Unless I’m overlooking the solution, I cannot play.

Hard Difficulty is too Hard. Are you for real? This dude literally sees moves like 5 ahead. It's ridiculous. No one is this good at anything! He could accurately predict where I was gonna go. This is just like the Terminator movies! The machines have evolved too much and we should honestly just go back to actually quilting because the machines are to evolved. Fun game though 👍

Unable to play friends. Can search for a friend but no way to play them.

Fantastic hard AI. Medium is no slouch either.. This is a great tabletop game. As good of an app. No interruptions or bugs. Just buy it. You will get your money's worth in a day.

I love this game, but.... Every time I try to play I get a log in error message that does not allow me to correct.

Game center. App does not recognize I am logged to game center even though I am. Can’t play with friends.

Hidden gem. I randomly found out about this game and love it. It’s honestly just a relaxing game. I admit I had to do the tutorial twice. It’s not really all that difficult to understand there are just quite a few moving parts to the game and I couldn’t figure out what the medium level Ai always had so many buttons!

Unbalanced unfair poor rule set. Whomever gets the first 2 or 3 big button piece immediately always wins. Always. It’s totally rigged because the random pieces your shown first two turns determines the entire game immediately. So why prolong the misery and make me play an entire game when only two turns matter. Better to scrap your totally numskull rule set and give players some balanced or equal set of choices for the first 2 to 4 turns otherwise this is getting deleted and we won’t be back for any of your other titles.

So disappointed. I bought this app several years ago so that I could play online with my mom. Two weeks ago, all of our games froze and we were no longer able to create games with each other. I deleted the app thinking I could reinstall. Nope, had to pay another $3.99, and even after doing so we still cannot start a game together. Great game when it works. Buyer beware.

Don’t Plan To Play With Friends. Playing friends doesn’t work. So don’t buy if you want to play non-strangers

Great game, fun brain burner.. I have been surprised how much I like this game. It is smooth and easy to learn. And has nice levels of AI. My only thought is it would be nice to always see what pieces are coming up without having to swipe through, much like you can when placing the pieces.

Doesn’t work anymore. I play this game everyday, several times a day. Since the new update, it won’t even load. Just gets stuck on the introduction screen. Ugh.

Perfect game. My wife and I have been playing this asynchronously for over a year and have never gotten bored with it. Kudos to Uwe and to Digidiced for making quilting fun!

Love it. Have been playing the table board game for a couple of years and this saves a lot of time and is easy to play. Only takes a couple of turns to get the hang if it. The graphics make it look like a kids game but it’s fun for all ages.

Patchwork!. Huge fan of Patchwork one of my favorite games to bust out on the table . Simple, quick, strategic and fun! Mobile works great but recommend the physical game for the full experience!

Fun but lacks instructions. The game seem fun even though I am still not sure how to play (after completing the tutorial three or four times). I clicked on everything in the app but couldn't find the rules; rules might be a nice thing to have in a board game app. Some things that aren't clear: - I don't know when I'll get buttons to spend or why I'll get x number of buttons in a given turn. I'm always surprised when I don't have any buttons at the start of a turn. - Buttons get dropped into and removed from a piggy bank, not sure why a specific amount goes in or out. - There are three numbers at the bottom of the screen for each player. The left-most number is the number of empty squares, that much I've figured out. The other two (including one that's a negative number) I've no idea about. Clicking on the numbers doesn't bring up any sort of explanation. The tutorial is very light, some concepts are skipped or glossed over. Since this is a board game the rules are already written down, they just need to be adapted to the app. The game would be more fun if I knew what was going on. Ticket to Ride is a great app/board game and game play is clearly explained in the app, if you need an example of how to explain a game.

Confusing Instructions. The “Tutorial” is very confusing. There doesn’t seem to be a link to a descent set of rules. The layout is chaotic with unexplained mechanisms.

Great game. The game is very nice. I play at least 3 times a day! One problem: it sometimes LOCKS up....when you look far forwards in your turn! Only way to fix it is to pass.....or to keep moving the wheel forwards or backwards till it unlocks what is not always possible.

Brilliant game, excellent adaptation (with a few hiccups). This game is deceptively elegant. Almost no chance involved, and no private information, means that your strategy can continue to evolve and level-up for a surprising amount of time. The app itself is good, albeit with a few nitpicks. •When replaying your opponent’s moves, their score for their whole turn(s) is added on the screen during the placement of their first piece, instead of incrementally during the placement of each piece. This is a small thing, but it has continued to annoy me because, 50 plays later, I’ve glanced at their score as the actions on-screen direct me there, and mentally updated their score, and then realized later I’d miscalculated because of the unintuitive order of operations. •Occasionally the place market glitches and its impossible to tell which pieces you can select from, or it won’t even allow a (valid) selection, and you have to kill and restart the app. •Occasionally I won’t receive notifications that it’s my turn. Nevertheless, the app is well worth the cost in terms of quality and replayability.

Love the game, buggy app. Why does it need a "connection" for solo games against the AI? Why, the internet connection is lost, does it reset the solo game- which never should have needed a connection in the first place? Why does the AI laaaaaaag every time it takes a turn? These questions may never be answered.

Great game!. I love the physical board game but don't get to play it much since I have toddler help with all the pieces. I was so excited to see the app and am very pleased that it carries the original so well into the digital world.

Fun but needs support. This game hasn’t been updated to fit new phones which is a bummer. I bought this game to play asynchronous with a friend across the country but I can’t quite figure out what happens with the time limit… like sometimes there’s a Time limit in the games and sometimes there isn’t. can anyone explain what’s happening? I don’t want my games to end after 24 hours because sometimes it takes a couple of days to finish the game!

Connection issues. Can’t even play the game with my partner due to connection issues.

Sound effects or music broken. On new iPhone 13 Pro I’ve attempted to turn on the music inside the app but nothing plays. Bummer. The app feels very incomplete without any sound effects. Otherwise pretty decent implementation. The UI is a bit busy.

Buggy (since the update). I love this game but, since the update, it’s been incredibly buggy. The gameplay is buggy, the game crashes at random, and when you close it and reopen it the pieces are in different spots. It really needs to be fixed because it’s almost unplayable at the moment.

Play problems. I love this game, but the app is only letting my play against the AI’s

Do not waste your money. The app is outdated. It does not fit on the screen of my iPhone 11. The graphics aren’t very good and it is difficult to play and see what’s going on. I wish I could get my money back. I am not happy.

Great game, lots of bugs. Great game, but every update seems to bring a new bug. The newest bug is that Hard Level AI has major lag on every turn, making the game take twice as long, even when set to "fast".

Asmodee does good adaptations and then forgets about them. Love this game, and the adaptation is solid. Technically, there are bugs, loading online games is terrible, the menu interface is also terrible, and support for newer phones is terrible. I put up with it and play because the alternative is find time when my wife can sit down and play a whole game at once and then manage all the pieces by hand (not to mention the score calculations).

Overall good but glitchy. Some glitches, but ok to play. Swiping tiles is a little too snappy.

Fun but don’t expect to learn from the tutorial. The game plays well and is fun but don’t expect the tutorial to help at all!

Does not work. Controls are dead, do not buy

Simple and confusing. So the tutorial for this game is just not good so I watched a how you play video online and once you understand the game it is simple. The game premise is a bit abstract. The app is great and takes so much of the accounting out of the picture you are free to just think.

Game cheats. I play the physical game with friends and it’s fun and challenging. So I was very excited to see an iPhone version. When I first purchased the game it was well balanced and enjoyable. I was able to beat the lowest level AI every time, the medium level AI the majority the time and on the rare occasion the most difficult AI once or twice. It seemed perfectly balanced. Since whenever last update was it is now completely unwinnable and an unenjoyable as the AI is just too difficult.

Irene's girl. I adore this game. My friend at quilt club recommended it and I love it.

Someone destroy Uwe. He is a menace, a dastardly deviant, who ever designed Uwe to be so twistedly tactical should be locked up. The games great don’t get me wrong, I love playing against people with flesh but this robot who would rather jump in front of you for a whole game than pick a piece could and may aswell be the devil👿Sure the high I felt when I beat him did last several days however the torturous journey was bordering on cyber bullying😤highly recommend for the boardgaming sadist

Great conversion. A solid conversion of a great two player game. Worth the money!

Great Game. I don't like tetris but this one is fun!

Great game!!. I love this game so much I've ordered the board game of it. Uwe Rosenburg is such a great game designer!

Don’t bother. Absolute rubbish, easy ai is to easy, medium far too hard, playing with people takes way too long to find a game. Unsure how it ranks so highly, it runs well, but forget about good gameplay.

Great game. I love the physical version of the game, and bought this iOS version day one of release. A couple of quirks, especially in game centre, but on the whole a great adaption.

Ouch!. The board game is amazing! Unfortunately there are glitches in the iOS iPad version that meant I could not select patches. Very frustrating. Please fix!

Pay twice!!! What the...?!. Bought this game yesterday, have played twice, and today I receive a message saying 'my test version has expired'...I didn't have a test version, I paid for the full game! Scam. Don't pay for this game until this is fixed.

Excellent adaptation. The UI is a little rough around the edges, but the game works great and it's a great game to begin with.

Good but missing details. Really enjoy this game. Wish it had the same sort of local play set-up as carcassonne or ticket to ride.

Addictive!. I've just spent the past 4 hours playing this game. Easy to learn but hard to master. High replay ability factor.

AWESOME GAME!!. The last update fixed all my issues!! Awesome game!! I love the multiplayer and the local player. Nice game to pass an afternoon with my husband. Bravo to the developers....it is not often that I see bugs fixed in an update, but you all did and I appreciate it. Thanks for the awesome game!!! I highly recommend this game to everyone.

Excellent !. Excellente implantation ipad du jeu table !!!

Good game, app needs improvement. The app won't let me connect to the server and set up my profile so I can't play against anyone other then passing my phone to a friend.

game centre error?!. Love this game but it won't let me play against anyone and just sends me a 'failure to authenticate' dialogue box. Too bad :(

Poche... Programmeurs, vous avez du travail à faire.

Great game. This is a great implementation of a fabulous table top game.

Test version?. I bought this game then the same thing as below happened to me too. It's a fraud! Don't waste your money on this game!!!!!

Frustrating Connectivity. The game is great, the gameplay is great, but after playing over 150 games, I've had it with losing my connection mid-turn. I'd worked hard to build up my ELO to 1034. But then I would be unable to establish a connection to the game's server and I would lose countless almost-completed games (many that I was leading by a significant margin). Such a waste of time. And it's an expensive game! Fix these known issues or stop stealing our money.

Programmed for hard level AI. Love the game but totally rigged for hard AI to win. Disappointing because the game is always one sided unless you play easy. 😕

Rapide et stratégique!. Je recommande!

Fast game. I like the game a lot, but when I ask to have a fast game, it is not. I am waiting for my opponent to play but I see that the player has 24hours left in his hand to play.... fast game is not working?

Tutorial freezes at Step 8. Repeatedly freezes iPad at Step 8 (timeline)

Great. Patchwork is amazing, and this port is amazing.

Tough ai. Good app in general but I am particularly impressed with the ai. In most games I need to go to at least the hard ai to have a challenge. Either I am really bad at this game or the ai is really great because I am only rarely able to beat the ai at the medium level! Quite impressed!

So Enjoyable. I love this game. The artwork on it is so cute, the game play is relaxed but still a fun little strategy game, and even the background music is pleasant to listen to especially compared to some games. I'm pretty cheap when it comes to purchasing apps but this is totally worth it.

The New standard for BG adaptation. Cool functionalities, beautiful animations, runs really well. The bar is set really high with this love letter

A fun game. Just really fun and relaxing. Very well done. :)

Excellent two player game. Lots of fun for two players. Games go quickly, but the animations slow down the gameplay a little.

Great!. Awesome app integration!

Good game is steadily improving. This app was a bit rough at first, but the frequent updates from the maker have led to steady improvements. It could still use an undo button, but it is a nice little app. Good adaptation of an excellent board game.

Great Abstract. Playful theme but really deep game. Recommended.

Simple, fast and addictive. Easy to learn, fast to play but very addictive.

La dernière mise à jour fait tout planter!. Impossible d'ouvrir l'application. Il fait référence à une version test!??!? Pourtant tout marchait avant. Déception. :(

Bugs. Once the game gets updated it could be a 4 or 5 star, but at the moment it has some bugs. Haven't finished a game due to connection errors, and pieces moving in a way that they can't be placed on the board. I only gave it a three based on potential

Please fix!. Bought this game to play with my wife... Really want to like it, but we have tried to play 4 games locally (pass n' play) and right near the end of each game, it crashes. Really frustrating that we have not finished a single game! Please fix!!!!

Great little game. I’d reco anyone look at a Youtube video on how to play the real game first but once you’ve done that - you’ll understand how it plays and love this app. Great game and the flow is fantastic versus the AI. I love it and play it maybe 5 times a day for a nice diversion. Well done.

faithful and delightful board game port. If you are familiar with the game, know that this is a faithful port. If you are new to the game - you're in for a treat! Online play works well. I played about 100 games before I stopped going back to it regularly, which is a lot for me.

Crashes on opening. Please fix

Test version??????. I purchased this app and no longer can use it because it says it's a test version!?!? This needs to be fixed!!!!

Great game!. I wasn't sure when I purchased it, but my friend told me it would be great. And he was right! Compelling, fun and addictive! The love-child of Tetris and a strategic board game. I play on line against my friend or with the computer. Love it! Can't stop playing!

Great translation. Fix crashes.. Crashes on my iPad mini 4 when I start a local game against AI. It's fine after a restart. But it happens frequently. And is very annoying :)

No longer working. I love the game and the ability to play asynchronously with friends but for the last few days I'm unable to play nor accept game invitations due to a login error message that I don't know what to do with. The app won't even allow me to logout and deleting the app and reinstalling did nothing to fix the problem. Very disappointed

Test version?!?. I bought the game but now it's telling me I bought a test version and to buy a real version!

Great Game!. I've never played the tabletop version - but this is a great game and a beautiful implementation. I mean, it's great to play on tablet or on phone... and I'm guessing it makes it really easier to setup and keep count of the number of buttons :)

DON'T BUY!!. I bought the app and now it's showing a message saying this is a test version! I need my money back

Broken. Why does this game require an Internet connection during the tutorial? Why can it not keep the connection stable? Fix it.

Game freezes - March 3 - Latest Version. Green button disappeared in one case. My second game all buttons disappeared. Same things continue to happen. Thus far ... Unplayable

Snooze fest. Can I have my money back?. This is a boring, simple game made complicated by so many icons onscreen and most of them cryptic.

WTF. Really liked the game, bought it, but now it's saying that my test version is up and that i need to buy the game. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Great game. Great adaptation

Love it!. Patchwork is a game where you’re trying to fill up a quilt with patches. The patches are shaped like tetris pieces. You buy the patches with buttons and spend time to stitch the pieces in. Some of the pieces will give you back buttons as income. For a cute game, there is a lot of thought: do I take the piece with a low button cost, a low time cost, or pass and get more buttons? Do I race for the little 1x1 pieces, or stay in back to get more big pieces? Do I stick my opponent with the cumbersome pieces, or take them myself because they cover a lot of area? A few comments on the UI: I wish the rotate and flip buttons were placed closer together, and I would like a way of trying out the patch without buying it, as well as a way of seeing what all the remaining available patches were. The default settings have music and animation, I like to focus on the game, so I turned these off. I also use the “classic theme”

Takes a bit of practice, but fun!!. It took me a few rounds of just jumping in and playing, even with the very excellent tutorial the game offers, but once I got it, oh my gosh, I've been playing for days. There's no time limit on rounds, so I can make a move, go off to do something else, come back later after the computers made its move, keep going. The music has a very 'Creation Mode on Sims' feel, and doesn't get annoying or repetitive even with long term repeated gameplay. Several times I've turned the FX portions off and simply let the in-game music play. It's incredibly relaxing. Also, there's two very nice choices for ingame look, without buying any. I actually bought both the Kawaii and Space aesthetic packs, and then went back to one of the two default aesthetics provided to you ingame! This game is great, though does have a bit of a learning curve. It's still honestly one of the best apps I've had on this iPad in the two or three years I've owned the device. (Plus, my iPad is an iPad2 and it still runs like a dream!!)

Stopped working. Game won’t open anymore

Buyer beware. I purchased this for $2.99. Played it a bit, it's a pretty neat game. Unique, didn't have any problems. The game updated, and now when it updates the game tells me my trial has expired and I need to purchase it. Then it closes. At the App Store, I can't repurchase it. I can open it, I can delete it, I can reinstall it. Nothing seems to work. Now I'm pretty glad I didn't wast additional money on some of the other themes. What's the point of paying for a game and then only being able to play it for a few days? What a sham.

Thanks for quick fixes!. It really says a lot when developers fix things quickly! Thank you so much! Game is great!

There is a bug, there is a workaround, there is a fix. I originally gave this version 1 star. The developer is very responsive, and, if you look on their website, they have already submitted a fix. They also show a workaround to use this version until the App Store has the fix released. Great response, Great Game, bad luck for a bug.

Just like the tabletop version. This app captures the feel of the tabletop version of the game perfectly and adds the benefit of asynchronous play. Navigating the app can be a little confusing at first (figuring out where all the buttons are and what they do) but after the first game you should be fine. It's a great game!

Great game, a bit buggy implementation. The gameplay and the visual style is great, but some little bugs sometimes cause little troubles (missing patch pieces if you continue to play tutorial, or rotating a piece might push it off screen).

Great game, mediocre port. This rendition of the game is marred by shockingly bad UX and UI design. The other flaky elements and bugs barely stand out compared to inconsistent button language, muddy assets and painful animation. I'm looking at the main menu now and it is just a cluster of random, poorly thought out information and the gameplay is worse. It would be VERY hard to recommend this to friends.

Great adaptation!. My husband wasn't a fan of this game when we demoed the board game, and since it would never see the table at our normal gaming group because it was two player I didn't buy it. This app lets me play a game I enjoyed and does it well. Differing levels of AI to play against, online multiplayer, and local multiplayer means that this game succeeds in ways that many other board game apps do not. In some ways I think I might even prefer this to the real board game, which is not something I would usually say. Great job!

Minor bugs. Frequently at the end of the game, the app will not allow me to select one of the available patches (for which I have sufficient currency). Frustrating, but otherwise a good buy.

Great... until it locked me out.. I had been playing this game quite a lot and really enjoying it until today. Now, suddenly, the app is telling me that my "test version has expired" and that I will need to buy the game to continue playing. Thing is... I did buy the game. I assume that others are having the same problem, and that's why there are so many recent negative reviews. I really do like the game! Please fix the issue so that I can amend my review!

Fun but buggy. The game concept is rather simple but fun with ample strategy. Good for a wide range of ages, too. Aesthetically, the app is lovely-- animations add charm and whimsy. But the UI is not intuitive when it comes to starting or continuing new games with friends (lots of taps to figure out how to get back to a game), and the game play is rather buggy. I've had to quit the app and even forfeit games a few times. Lastly, there is a very real need for an "undo" feature after choosing a patch. Ultimately, the app is a frustrating execution of what should be a very good game.

Game will be great again, after patch. I bought this game when it first came out and it worked as advertised , with a few minor glitches here and there. Then the latest patch came out and it broke the game. Four stars before patch, one star after patch. Once fixed, the game should be back to four stars.

Same Problem as others. Unfortunately, I’m having the same problem many other reviewers are experiencing. The game won’t let me past the prompt asking me to pay for the game because my trial has ended, when in fact I have already paid for it. To be honest it was pretty glitchy to begin with, but this is now proving to be a waste of money. I emailed support. I hope to hear back or I’ll request a refund. Will amend my review if it’s fixed.

Tetris Quilting. Kind of an unorthodox theme, but no denying how fantastic it is. Some of the interface choices a slightly frustrating, find it odd that you can't manipulate the tiles with gestures, but overall a great implementation of a wonderful game!

Love it, but.... I really enjoy the game, but can only play the AI, since there seems to be a glitch: "local player not authenticated". Also, the email icon at the top of the screen, presumably to contact the developers about such glitches, does not work. I would give this game five stars, if I could play against other humans, as advertised. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive solo game. Playing against a computer gets boring.

Good game, terrible bugs. Playing against the AI is fine and fun. GameCenter integration seems to be broken. I have friends who own the game but don’t show up in the player list. Ranked matches seem to work, mostly. I had a match simply disappear from the “Running Games” list for a few hours but then it came back. Pass-and-play has a TERRIBLE bug. The computer adds and subtracts buttons only from player one while the match is in progress. “Guest's” buttons remain at 5 for the whole game. I believe the game is actually keeping track correctly (final score seemed right), but the display is faulty, if you see what I mean. This seems like a great game but what I really wanted it for was for asynchronous GameCenter matches and pass-and-play. Fix the bugs and you’ve got 5 stars.

Great Game. I've played the tabletop version of this game for some time now. One of the best two player experiences out there. The game is so simple and elegant, yet lends itself to a very deep strategy. The only reason for the 4 star vs the 5 star is the difficulty of the hard single player mod. It seems far to easy to beat the AI at that level and anything less then that is a waste of time.

Great game! And Question. I have been having so much fun playing patchwork!!! Is there a way to play multiple games at one time? For instance I started a game with someone who is not yet online and now I'm stuck not able to play another game.

Great game, horrid app. Game has been fun so far, but the app is filled with bugs. Crashes a lot. Halfway through the tutorial it claimed there was a connection issue and threw up an alert with only an OK button. Tapped OK and my progress in the tutorial was gone! I'm not sure there's anything quite as frustrating as repeating a tutorial. Then just now I was almost finished with my first online game and the same thing happened. I hit OK again and am returned to the main menu with no sign of my running game in the game list. Turns out their server isn't talking to the app and 20 minutes later my game finally shows up again when connection is restored. Ugh.

Easy to learn, great game. I had not played the board game when I bought this app. The tutorial was clear and the controls are intuitive. The art is great and I have not had any issues or buggy behavior. A fine port of a clever game.

Workaround for expired trial. This is a great game, but like others have mentioned, to bypass the 'expired trial' pop up, press the little icon up top that looks like three circles connected in an 'A' frame.

Great Adaptation!. Excellent adaptation of one of the best 2P board games! No major bugs yet, but I wish you could rotate the patches before choosing to place them, or at least have an undo. Would love a campaign mode with objectives, but a solid rollout of a solid game in a solid year of digital ports of board games! Digitized is excellent and I am very excited for their upcoming release (which has been leaked). Thanks DD and Uwe!!

confused. I love the idea of this game and the artwork. However, I cannot figure out how to make an account and customize. Whenever I try, I just get a popup that says "login to Game Center". I am always signed into Game Center, and the only button available to click is Cancel. Can't play with real people... No point.

Can't play (updated). This is a great app. Not only a fun game, but there was an in game bug that was making it so I could not play. Their support team responded to me quickly with what was causing the issues and how to get around it while a fix was being implemented. Great job!! For all those having the same problem touch the envelope or prong thing at the top and you will bypass the pop up box. If the game list it start showing all your finished, just close them out, your current running games will be at the end of the list.

Still Needs.... Super fun game but still needs: 1. An UNDO button for pieces picked up by accident; 2. Improved chat functionality and notifications. Chat is pretty much non-functional and would really add to the game; and 3. Fix the constant "network error" notifications.

Great Board Game Port. This is a really fun 2-player game. The game is easy to learn and has a lot of replay value. The only thing that I wish it had was an undo button when buying a piece that doesn't quite fit how you thought. Overall it is an excellent game and I am glad I bought it.

Need some words please. The game is very good, and the tutorial was nice. But where are the full rules? What do all the icons mean? What does "hd" mean? Why does an icon just pop up a "loading" box and never recover? What does "positive scoring" mean? What are all the numbers and symbols around my player icon? Icons are nice but they need explanations too.

A great strategy game. Played this many times as a board game and was pleased to see it on the App Store. It is a great adaptation of the game with whimsical graphics and enough of a challenge for the AI to keep me playing. Overall a very well done game worth the money.

Great game!. I really like the strategy of this game. Along with the ease of learning it and that it doesn't take an hour to play makes it a wonderful mobile board game. I look forward to getting better and playing online!

Excellent. A great implementation of the board game. I would recommend picking this one up and "stitching" it in to your app collection. (Sorry. I just couldn't help myself) PS You don't have to be a quilter to enjoy it. A much more thinky version of Tetris but a quick pick up and play. Now I'm thinking of getting the board game for me and my friends.

Creative Quilting. I have been playing this game for a couple weeks now and have enjoyed every second of it! I love both the puzzle and creative aspects of it. I like seeing how unique (or not-so-unique) my quilts turn out and to see how each of my opponents completes their layout. I definitely recommend this game to fans of quilting, puzzles and being able to show off your creativity. There are a few bugs and glitches, but the developer is right on top of things. A huge thank you to them for quickly fixing the critical bug that appeared in a recent update!

Game Forgot I Bought It. I would probably have given this game three or four stars - it's not perfect, but it's enjoyable - but after paying for the game last week and playing it several times, it told me this evening that my "test version" has expired and I would have to pay for the game. Not cool. I paid for it. I've sent a note to Support, but I am curious if anybody else has experienced this.

Gamecenter problem.. The graphics, music and gameplay are charming and addictive, but there's a problem with Gamecenter (trying to constantly connect) that keeps bringing up error messages. It's quite annoying. I can't even customize my avatar because the game tries to connect to Gamecenter for no reason. Drop the Gamecenter bs on the next update and this is five stars easily.

Great game, still buggy. Love the game and so does my daughter. However, when we do pass and play the game disappears if we accidentally press "next game". This happens frequently because it's very easy hit.

Quilting is cool. I was so excited for this game to come out and so far it has been great! After the updates I can't think of anything I could suggest to make it better. Patchwork is addicting and challenging and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a quick game to play when they have some time to kill.

great port of a board game. I really liked this game when I demoed it at a convention. As a 2 player game it never sees the table on game nights. Now I get my fix when ever I want and Hoo doesn't complain if I make the piece he wanted go off the table.

What a wonderful game. I have the board game version of this game and this is a personal favorite for my wife and I to play. I was excited to see it for my phone; on which, it works great. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes a light game with more strategy than you would expect. You won't be disappointed.

Almost Perfect. Patchwork is a lovely two-player board game, in which the players are trying to balance currency (buttons) with area control (in this case, a blanket or quilt). Despite the odd theme, the game is brilliant, and offers a lot of depth for two players. The app has 3 levels of AI (easy, average, and difficult) but I don't have many problems beating the hard setting 9.9 out of 10 times. Fortunately, there's also online play available for those who enjoy that sort of thing. I'm removing one star simply for AI difficulty. I understand the challenges developers have when it comes to coding an excellent AI. Nevertheless, the AI in Patchwork is just poor. Even the Hardest setting AI will regularly purchase a tile when it's best option is to pass and stick me with a poor option. (Online play is great, but sometimes waiting for an opponent to play can be a bit time consuming.) All of that said, the developers continue updating the app, and it's well worth the purchase. If you've never played Patchwork but enjoy games like Tetris, you're in for a real treat!

Pretty good.. I haven't got this physical game. But it seems like looking beyond the first 3 available quilt-bits would be important, so maybe the space around the board could be filled with upcoming pieces. Also when placing a quilt-piece, I can't seem to have a peek to refer to upcoming pieces either (clicking on the pawn at the top helps). That'd help me just to best place the selected piece. Despite these, this seem like a great adaptation. For the price, it's very good. I've done multiplayer on the same iPad pro, and also network play.

This game is gold, Jerry!. One of the best board game ports in the App Store. Developers have been very responsive to fixing the earlier bugs. AI is quite good also playing the bots. The board game and app are both top shelf.

Great port of an excellent tabletop game. Don't let this theme fool you. This isn't Candyland. This is a deep economic game combined with spacial reasoning (using Tetris-like patches). There is tension throughout: buttons are the currency for buying the necessary patches, but they are also victory points. And do you buy patches for maximum coverage, or do you buy patches that deliver the most buttons throughout the game, or do you buy the patch that best fits yourboard? You also have to manage a time track. Use too much time track and your opponent might be able to go two or more times before you go again. Use too little, and you might not reach the button payoff point to have buttons to buy patches the next turn. And there's player interaction: you might try to deny your opponent certain patches they need, you might race for the single patches, or race for the 7X7 bonus, or - occasionally - race for the finish line (which decides the winner in the case of a tie). Great game. Great port. Highly recommended.

Recommended but. I am really enjoying the game, but I would like if there were some kind of achievements or story to go with it. Playing the AI is fine, but it doesn't keep me entertained for long.

Great puzzle game. I own the board game. My daughter and I really enjoy it. I must say this is just like the board game. Easy to play and with online play it really adds to the enjoyment. I grew up with my mom being a seamstress and she makes handmade quilts so it was a must buy for me. For the price it is worth it, so much replay ability.

Getting better. The game is good. The app is slow, but well done overall. Putting in an auto pass feature helps. The information to tell you that other people have played is terrible. Also, it shows that you have notifications on the left banner bar, but there is nothing there to read when you click. It's like a false report. It also takes a long time to load games in the United States. If the servers are in Germany, that might explain it.

Great game!. I got the board game for Christmas and looked for the app version. I was not disappointed!! Great job making a digital version that really kept the feel of the actual game!

Most fun game I can't play. Great fun, but as of tonight, I am not allowed to play until I buy the full version. I got a message that my test version has expired and I need to buy full version. Then it kicks me out of the game. Two problems with this. First, the app store does not have a test version, Second, I bought the full version. Don't waste your money until they fix it so you can actually play the game. Hal Norman

Cool. Good job overall 1. I feel like I don't get an overall sense of the future patches very easily. I know you can scroll through them, but.... I feel like especially on the iPad that extra screen real estate could be used to show me all the patches at once, somehow 2. Considering how the rest of the game feels very 3D, the patch place marker seems rather... Flat

Great game, still a bug or two:. We enjoy Patchwork and have played it about twenty times so far, but there is a bug in the game ... Midway through the game there will be a glowing piece that cannot be dragged to the patchwork grid, and can only be removed by choosing another piece or passing, and then after that the game is fine again. Hoping a patch for this bug arrives soon, because this game is fun!
