It never works. I can not get this app to work more than 10 minutes a week. Constantly glitching, crashing, logging me out. Especially now when mobile communication is so important, I highly recommend another app.

Still Crashing. App keeps crashing when I try to open the menu sidebar after most recent update

Too many updates. Every time I get on this app I can’t use it because there is a new update.

Awful App. App works maybe 10% of the time. Always crashing and barely ever loads anything.

I’m lauren and I love mcr. MCR is the BEST app for any sorority! It is convenient for checking the calendar, doing attendance at events, as well as using “The Buzz” to communicate with sisters! Without this app, attendance and communicating with sisters would be extremely hard and take up a lot of time! I highly recommend that chapters should use MCR!!!

What is the point?!. Stop updating this app if you’re not gonna solve anything and stop me from accessing chapter news in the mean time. Stop logging me out of my account Stop making the app crash and only let it work if I redownload it. Please just make a GD functional app if I’m gone be required to use it!!!!! Also- MCR will always be My Chemical Romance

Good Setup But Seems to Lag. As with all sites, the desktop setup works better than the app. I tend to experience a lot of lag between switching pages whereas my computer has no issues using the same WiFi. It’s also hard to tell what messages in mail I have/haven’t opened. Maybe an indicator similar to Gmail so that I can save time diffentiating between old and new mail? Other than the lag and issues with deciphering new mail, the overal organization and aesthetic of the set up is good!

Great Tool!. Helping a chapter stay organized and being able to find information can be a real challenge. The chapter I work with had really struggled with a previous platform, but MCR has solved many of these issues. A good training session with leaders and chapter members each semester solves most user issues- I’ve also always had fast response and good experience chatting in for assistance. Highly recommend for chapters who need to increase operational excellence and make leaders and advisors lives easier!

AWESOME App!. MCR is so convenient and I could not imagine going through sorority life without it! It has everything you need from a calendar to emails to group chats. I would highly recommend this app!

Don’t suggest. If you hate your chapter and love poor quality apps use this app

Constantly crashes. The app constantly crashes. For every update I have to relogin and over half the time the app won’t even let me use the app. It’s a waste of space on the phone. Idea is right but an idea is pointless when the app doesn’t work. Really wish my sorority would find another option instead.

Great app. A great way to keep communication with the chapter and have all things organized and in one place. 10/10 recommend!

great amenities but it always crashes. literally the app is so good and can do amazing things for the chapter. However, it crashes all the dang time if the chapter tries to scan in to events all at once which is the only way for members to check in. it is a big hazard

Awful. Takes ages to load every time, that is if it doesn’t crash (which happens 90% of the time), difficult to navigate, actually such a waste of space and time, the amount of times I’ve made formal complaints to my chapter to find a better system than this app is insane, if this app rushed no house would want it and for good reason

Chapter lifeline!!!. This app is truly makes our chapter run more efficiently and effectively. The sign in feature is our all time favorite feature. It is so convenient to be able to have our executive board scan members in to events. We have everything on this app- our calendar, sign up sheets, questions, roster, etc. The new Buzz feature is also so amazing. Being able to have committee groups and other group messages right on the app is so helpful and now having notifications is also great. This app has everything we need for our chapter to function!

Okay! Needs an update. Parts of the app are really useful like the calendar, ability to enter achievements, excuses, and the resources section. However, there are other parts that need a tech updated because they are clunky and outdated, like the mail feature. Ideally it should work like any other email client. Our chapter does not use the communicate menu at all due to this. The whole system needs an update in this regard instead of the addition of new sections and features. Sub menus are confusing and sometimes hard to find sections you want.

Unfunctional 90% of time. Terrible app, hate to use it every week genuinely get one useful engineer please

Stop Updating the APP every other week.. The mandatory updates are ridiculous. Most apps don’t require you to update the app every time they update it. Everytime I go to use this app it makes me go to the app store to update it before I can resume.

Weekly updates. It’s a good app but I have to update it every five days. Minor inconvenience but the repetition of it for the update to do absolutely nothing is a waste of time

Advisor heaven!. MCR makes it so easy for advisors to stay in touch with active undergrad members. Everything is in 1 place and accountability is a top priority. Collegians love it too. MCR has thought of everything... from excuses with proof to event check-in to signup sheets and announcements to a new convenient chat area that is so customizable it's too good to be true! A must for every chapter!!

Can’t get back on. This app is great to stay connected but it frequently logs you out and makes it hard to get back in. I am currently logged out for some reason and my password doesn’t work. When I send the link to reset my password, I never get the email. I just can’t use it now and I’m not sure how to fix it.

Rarely works and I’m always having issues. I have been using MCR for 4 years now. The layout is confusing, it is always having issues loading or updating, and is honestly a pain. The app works better than the website though so there is a plus side I guess?

What update. Your update from today is literally preventing me from even using the app. Big fixes my butt. You created a bug.

Crashes All the Time. It crashes constantly which makes it completely unreliable. It’s to the point where we have to constantly delete the app, re-download, and newly login again. Except now that’s beginning to not work. Highly frustrating.

MCR = as easy as abc123. The MCR app is so convenient when it comes to checking the calendar for important upcoming events. It's so much faster than taking out my laptop to go on the website. I love the speed of this app as I have not much patience for other apps. The new messaging feature "The Buzz" is great because now I don't have to switch between apps to communicate with my sisters. I am excited to see what else MCR has in store in the future.

I’d rather pay fines than use this app. This is a prime example of why monopolies are illegal. Let’s get another competitor in this niche.

Chat- URGENT. PLEASE FIX. Please make an update where we are able to access the chat/group message feature from the app! It is a pain to use the website to send a quick message. Thanks!

Awesome app!. Calendar, email, sign up sheets, etc. are so easily accessible. Also, love the "scan attendees" feature when taking attendance at big events. Overall, it is very convenient and very helpful for sororities.

Awful. Literally the worst app for information possible. Does not allow me to scan in, does not allow me to submit excuses, I only receive maybe 1 of the 20 something emails sent each week, and restarting, redownloading the app etc. changes nothing. I am insanely out of the loop in my chapter because of how god awful this app is

Extremely Useful. I’m surprised to see all the negative reviews on this app, because my experience with this app has been great! My chapter has been using this app for YEARS, and it has proven to be extremely useful and helpful for us to communicate effectively and has been a great tools for event planning and keeping our large chapter up to date on upcoming events. It even allows you to color code based on how “mandatory” an event is, which has been extremely helpful for me personally as someone who works a full time job, in addition to full time student and sorority member. I would absolutely recommend this app. You do have to keep it updated in order to keep using it, but that is not a difficult thing to do ;)

Not stable. Ever since I updated this app it keeps crashing. Other than that I kinda like the layout.

Don’t buy. The only reason my chapter uses this is because the founder was a member. This app literally never works and causes so many more problems than it helps. It never lets you scan into events (the only purpose because email chains exist for free outside this app) and half the time you won’t get passed a white screen. Never subscribe to this system until they actually have the tech behind it because it’s sucked for years

Latest update. The latest update literally broke the app. 0/10 would not recommend, I just want to know when to show up to chapter.

Love MCR!. This is the greatest thing that has happened to our chapter. It keeps our women informed and knowledgeable about our chapters happenings! Thank you for making our lives easier!

Always crashes when needed. With not being able to use the app unless every new update is installed, you would think the app would run smoothly. The app constantly freezes and crashes. I’ve tried logging out and logging back in to see if that was the issue, but it wouldn’t let me even log back in. Communications within a sorority are so important so when the app doesn’t work, it delays any announcements which is frustrating. It seems like everyone else is having this issue which makes me wonder why the app developers don’t solve this problem.

Trash. This app causes nothing but pain and was forced upon my small chapter. The app is not worth whatever benefits it claims to have for what we have to pay to use it. It constantly crashes and is not well organized. Overall would just say don't do it.

Can't see forums or mail. I was so exited for this app to come out so I wouldn't have to go to my laptop every time there is a post but I still have to since you can't see forums and mail on the app. This needs to be fixed!

What’s even updating??. I think this app updates every time I open it. But nothing ever changes

Love this app!. I’ve been using MyChapterRoom for many years as both a collegian and now an advisor. The new mobile app is so sleek and organized! As an advisor, I love that I can arrange the features based on my needs to assist the chapter. It is easy to stay up to-date with chapter activities as well as in contact with members and my advisees. I am conveniently alerted on my phone when a new email/text/message comes in. Having everything right at my fingertips is so convenient and allows me to spend more time assisting chapter members!

App is lacking. While the MCR website is great, the app isn’t up to par. The admin buzz is missing, current documents and folders aren’t visible or even searchable. The only helpful thing as an admin is the event calendar. Everything else you’re better off being on your computer.

Would be good if it worked. App constantly crashes. There’s tons of bugs. One particular annoying one is that if I press the notification of a new email and am taken to the app, while trying to view the email an in app notification appears for the same email. If you press go to the whole app freezes up and crashes. This currently isn’t a problem though since I can’t get anything in the app to load as it crashes while trying to open!
