Great app for coin tracking!!!. I’ve been using this app for a year now and really enjoy following my coins from this app. One possible improvement is adding a favorite filter to the main screen then I can see all coins in my interest right away without going to my portfolio.

Error creating your altfolio. When I want to create altfolio, I get this message “ error creating your altfolio” I think the app needs update. Also, it’s better if you add a feature where we can see total gain vs total loss for all cryptos combined, and for each single crypto.

Simply Awesome. Been waiting for an app like this! I am a long time crypto enthusiast and investor. The low/alerts and daily price alerts for ANY crypto on the list is the best. Also any app that has a dark theme immediately gets two thumbs way up from me!

Pointless - keeps crashing at the drop of a hat. On paper, this is perhaps the best app to keep track of your crypto assets. But it'll never translate to reality. Keeps crashing ad infinitum, and it's such a pain to re-add assets and alt-folios. This review is from an iPad Air 2. I use the app on an iPhone SE too, and while there's little to no crash there, it's way too slow! Hope these issues are addressed, starting with assets being auto-saved/recovered when the app is fired up across devices registered with the same Apple ID.

Needs a little work. Overall a good crypto tracking app. One item they could revise, would be the ability to delete assets from the watchlist. Now that I’ve started using the app, I went a little crazy and added too many assets to the watchlist. Now that I’ve decided which ones to actually track, I cannot reduce the now overburdened watchlist.

Not too bad.... Displays prices well enough. I haven’t used any of the buy/sell/price alert options, so I cannot comment on those. A little buggy sometimes, every so often it doesn’t want to load or freezes during use.

Notifications Required. Please bring notifications back! It was extremely helpful and productive to have prices change notifications. Reagrds

Good App, although it used to be Great.. The app provides up to date pricing information for virtually all cryptocurrencies in existence, and the personal portfolio functional is very helpful for keeping tabs on what you own. However, since the update in late May 2019, the information provided on the app is much less specific in areas that require a high degree of specificity. It coarsely rounds the market cap value of an individual coin... for example: TRX has a market cap of $2,456,408,268, but Coin Cap will show it as $2billion. That’s an approximate 19% difference, which is huge! It also rounds the amount of coins any given cryptocurrency has in circulation. For example: TRX has an available supply of 66,682,072,191 coins, and the Coin Cap app rounds it to 67,000,000,000. Again, this rounding is much too liberal! There are a few more issues with the latest update, but I’ll leave it at this. I urge Coin Cap to put a greater emphasis on accuracy and update the app to correct this issue.

Good, but could be better. The app is thorough and lists almost everything. That’s great but it’s a power hog. I kill it after each use. Sometime it has crash issues in the favorites. Would be great if I could set alerts for movement over a certain % or $ amount.

Very bad bug not resolved since forever!. When you create a watchlist and you have to scroll the list, just after few scrolls, the screen freeze and you cannot scroll anymore. It happens all the time!!! Have to kill the app and reopen to solve the problem :( I don’t understand why the developers are not doing anything to resolved this huge bug…

Good quick view of portfolio. It’s a app that gives you a quick view of the current coin prices and allows you to create 3 different portfolios. Only issues I have so far, is their graphs aren’t always accurate. It’ll show a gradual increase or decline in the coin price for the whole graph in the window, except for the current price at the far right edge it will show a massive spike or dip even if it’s just a small amount different from hours before.

Great app!. The app supports a ton of different coins, and the altfolios feature is super helpful! My only ask to the dev is to disable vertical scrolling when scrubbing left and right through a coin’s graph. It makes it a little hard to see detail in the graph because even the slightest scroll down turns off the scrubbing feature.

Great, but for one thing. App is amazing, love the live updates, and the Altfolio is very user-friendly. However! The Coin Price alert has not worked at all for me. The coin price has gone past my alert level with no notification multiple times now, it hasn’t worked once (my notifications are all turned on). If not for this I would give this app 5-stars.

No 1hr timeframe. I’m giving this app 2 stars because of one very critical feature that it’s missing. You can not adjust the price timeframe under 24hours. Most crypto tracking apps have a 1 hour price timeframe but it seems to be the one thing this app is missing. Other than the 1 hour timeframe, the app seems well designed. If the feature is added I would gladly change to 5 stars

Love the App, but Update Crashes. I’ve been using this app for almost a year and love that I can create an Altfolio to see how my coins are doing. However, when I updated the app, it erased all the information in my Altfolio and now when I try to add or edit, the app crashes.

Great app needs some tweaking. For the most part I love this app. The only thing that's becoming a problem is when trying to enter the app the loading of newest data bubble will pop up and act as if it's loading and then will just continue to load but never actually launching me into the app. Besides this problem I have no complaints of the app.

Dishonest and unethical. I am in complete shock. This is very unethical. CoinCap has decided to list what they feel is “correct” for market capitalization. Example: Ripples XRP shows a total market cap of 16 Billion. BTC shows 80 Billion. On Yahoo finance, they too show BTC as 80 Billion. However, XRP shows as 40 Billion market cap on Yahoo finance and everywhere else, but on CoinCap it only shows 16 Billion. Why is that. They give some lame excuse why. Real reason... market manipulation. Very convenient you can donate BTC, BTC CASH, ETH, but no XRP...? Now why wouldn’t they want any donations from the number 2 cryptocurrency in the world? I’d love to hear how they respond to this.

The best.. This app is awesome. Not only does it support tons of different cryptocurrencies and update in real time, the altfolio feature is hands-down one of the most useful things for someone who wants to know the value of ALL of their cryptocurrencies at once. It’s easy to add and subtract from your holdings, or even have a couple different altfolios if you want to separate them out for whatever reason. The alert feature is also VERY robust and can even integrate with your altfolios. A couple of critiques: when you first reopen the app, it’s sometimes frozen for a few seconds while it catches up, the alerts don’t always get sent out like they should, and the prices can sometimes fluctuate pretty aggressively pretty quickly (~+/-1-2%). I’d like to know where the app gets its data. It usually seems to be right around where coinmarketcap is, so it seems to be accurate, but the fluctuations just invite some curiosity. I would also really like to see a 1hr graph on the price charts, and this app would make for an *awesome* Apple Watch app, should the devs decide to be ambitious :D As it stands now, though, the app is just about perfect, and I would recommend it to any holder of crypto who wants to know the value of their holdings in a simple, visually appealing, easy to use way.

beautiful. this app is stunningly beautiful and has alot of features. i have been using cryptopro and I'm really not sure which is better. This one gets the edge for looks though. i love the grey theme! The indicators are really cool too 😊 All-in-all i would pay money for this app. you really aught to have a widget in the ios side menu though.

Not Accurate. Seems like sometimes there is tear in the fabric of of the universe and they derive their coin prices from exchanges in an alternate reality. I sometimes find huge differences between their fantasy numbers and actual rates on the exchanges. Not reliable. (It’s either that, or this is an awesome arbitrage tool if you can find an exchange quoting their rates). Example is Thanksgiving week, price of BTC quoted well over $1000 over actual for days (and counting)

Good basic reporting.. Covers the basics. Very thankful somebody is doing this. BUT Can definitely be refined. It would be nice to get all the information on one app but for now I just use multiple apps. Would definitely be willing to pay serious dollars for an app that can cover all the basic needs.

Great app, but could use easy improvement.. I often use this app at night & love the dark mode which is awesome. However, whether you have it set to dark mode or not, whenever you initially open the app it displays a blinding white screen with the CoinCap logo on it. Would you please design a dark mode version of the loading screen? Do that & I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

App Loads Start Up Screen And Then Immediately Crashes…Please Fix ASAP!. I’ve been using this app for years and have been recommending it to any of my iPhone friends. However starting yesterday, whenever I click on the app, it starts with the Coinmarketcap title screen, but then immediately crashes. I asked others and said that it does the same for them, making this app useless. Please get this bug get fixed (hope they do it soon) as this is the best crypto tracking app ever and would like to continue using it. Thanks and God Bless!

Need support for iOS 12.1. I love this app overall when I use it all the time however I am part of the beta process of Apple and I have the latest 12.1 beta through the release and I Have since notice that the app now crashes

Improve the idea. That stats are good and the amount of cryptos listed are good. My only thing is that when you hit buy it takes me to another app. I don’t even think I can buy currency throu that app it just tells me exchange rates. I would like it tell me what exchanges they are listed on so if I want I can sign up and buy.

Keep up with the market. I am pretty new to the crypto world but after reading a lot and checking out many different websites and apps, this one seems to be the fastest and most updated site. I only wish the wallets could keep up with the markets like this. Thank you.

Solid crypto tracker. Overall, I love this app, and it has replaced Facebook as my go-to, idle/bored/got-a-minute check-in. While some charts are a little buggy (only displaying data from days-months before) it is a fantastic resource to check on Bitcoin/altcoins on the go. Add to this that there isn't much crypto love on iOS, and I will forgive the minor gripes. Twitter is very responsive.

Great app again!. Was a 1 star after last update As it didn’t work so... A few days later and another update brought back to the 5 star it was! The best app for viewing coin values and monitoring your own portfolio. Glad to see this all back to its awesome self!!

FaceID/TouchID support disappeared. Overall the updated version is not bad. However there is no option in the settings for FaceID/TouchID. Also, if you choose option to Hide balances and then while checking your altfolio choose not to hide by clicking on the eye icon and then scroll down through your coins it will hide again automatically when start scrolling. Quite annoying to un-hide it again and again if you already deliberately open it once. I would expect it to show balances until you either exit this particular altfolio or switch it back to hide. The previous version behaved like that. Hope this will be fixed in the next update. Thanks

Please add option to disable this feature!!. I would give this app 5 stars, but there needs to be an option to remove swipe left to delete. I’ve accidentally deleted hours of data entree due to it being too easy to make this mistake.

Removing a crypto from altfolio. I normally love this app. Within the last year somehow “usd” was added into my altfolio and my numbers have been off. I keep trying to erase usd and it won’t work

Had a bad update, but mostly good now.. I had downloaded an update that prevented use of the app, but now that things are back to normal, it’s working good again. I do seem to have issues with price high/low notifications not occurring, despite all settings checked/tried. Makes trading considerations a manual job. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to remove gain % from purchases made, if that makes sense. For instance, one of my altfolios shows significant gains during periods I purchased coins, but the gains are not directly related to the price of the coins over time, the percentage is higher because I added in, not because the market caused the gains. I would like to see overall market gain/loss % for an altfolio, not just altfolio balance change %. Once those work, it’ll be a 5-star app, for sure.

Great portfolio app. Love the looks and simplicity of this robust app. Has the live ticker plus you can have multiple portfolios Only thing I would ask is the option to enter buy prices so it can display your actual gains/losses

Does what I need. Can’t think of any complaints. Pro tip: if oh want to see a handful of specific currencies that you track all on one screen without having to search, set up an altfolio with 1 of each of the currencies you want to see. A “favorites” mode would be better.

Great for Checking Portfolio but Lacks. The app is useful for checking my portfolio on a mobile device but it lacks in staying functional after 4 minutes of usage. I have to restart the app every time I jump into another app and back in. Charts takes too much time to load or never do. But at least I know how my investment is doing in dollars.

Notifications stop working. The notifications work fine for about a week and then it just stops working. You have to erase and re-enter the notifications to work again. What a pain!!! Was going to join ShapeShift but if that can’t even get the notifications to work then what else is not working??? If this issue can be resolved then it would get a much higher rating

Improvements needed. Visibly pleasing user interface however bring back the old “add to altfolio” settings so i can add coins at whatever price usd and number i want... even if its inaccurate for current trade orders..ditch the flashing red and green trade by trade tickets that probably cause the site to clog and allow more chart viewing customizations. Also, allow users to customize settings to show the average ticker and candles for all coins at whatever time (minutes/hours/days) interval they want. Could help with glitchiness on my end to be able to go to a 1 min avg ticker update interval

great design but notifications stopped working. layout and functionality are great. however, every time I set up a daily notification for my alt folio, it stops working. the last time I received a notification was 1 week ago. before that, I deleted the app and reinstalled because of the same issue. please fix this and then i would rate 5 stars!

Portrait of a Portfolio!. This app is great! It allows you the ability to maintain a portfolio of different cryptocurrencies you may own by allowing you to keep track of your expenditures, much like Mint, but without giving away your sensitive account info. The app is a little buggy at times when entering info, and there needs to be more than just the three “Alt-folio’s”, then I will give it 5 stars.🙂

Altfolios keep getting cleared. If this app would stop removing my stored Altfolios it would be highly recommended. I hate giving low scores to apps because I know how harmful they can be but if your app has randomly cleared my Altfolios 2 or 3 times, why would I recommend it? Giving 2 instead of 1 Star because the general functionality of the rest of the app is solid. Specs: IPhone 8 and this occurred on iOS 12 and 13

Watchlist is broken. Watchlist isn’t scrolling. It becomes useless once you add more than 7-8 items to your watchlist because some of them won’t fit into the screen and there is no scroll. I wonder how they miss such a basic thing. Also, you can’t reach out to their support without signup. That is why this review goes here instead of their support. I am disappointed.

Great app for multiple alt coins plus mainstream. Overall great app to check prices and keep updated on what’s going on. It can be a little buggy at times with all the users i assume. Mine has a been freezing a little, but I only use it to check prices. Haven’t retired to use shape shift yet.

Bassboy. Had to change my review because I have learned how they count Ripples escrowed xrp against the circulating supply. All things being fair than the Tulip escrow fund of 1.1 million bitcoin should not be counted along with the other escrowed bitcoin out there. Also can’t get passed the 4 million bitcoin that have had their private keys lost never to be retrieved ever again. Another 2 million bitcoin have been stolen. There is not 17.4 million bitcoin circulating on the open market. Also found out about taking the Korean exchanges out last year during the bull run to drop xrp’s price. If that’s not manipulation, I don’t know what is. Since you only accept donations in all the variations of bitcoin. It looks like you have a vested interest in their success when you should be agnostic.

Won’t open. This app is great when it works. Key word being “when”. Seems I cannot open it for the last few weeks/months, it crashes upon attempting to do so... I don’t want to uninstall/reinstall as I’m afraid I might lose my portfolio created for tracking my crypto investments. Oh well, guess I’ll just hope it stops crashing when I try to open it.

Not working on iOS 16.2 and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This app was working on iOS 16 but now dies the same thing as a few years ago when the app won’t open. The splash screen appears and then closes. iOS says it is still running and I have to force close it. Also, (and this may be an Apple problem) I was unable to write a new review. I tried and I was dropped into the last review I looked at. I deleted the app and redownloaded and installed it but got the same result.

It really deserves no stars. I have been using this app without issues for a long time. I use it a lot to keep track of my portfolio and track what I purchased my cryptos at. It was my number one way to track my portfolio but sadly today with a swipe of a thumb I deleted a part of my portfolio. No alert, no warning just a swipe of my thumb and I deleted half my portfolio. Not once but twice. How can you make an app like this with no alert? No necessary confirmation to make sure that is what you intended? An accidental swipe on the phone deleted half my portfolio. No way to retrieve what I just deleted. At least from what I can see. Now I must take the time and investigate my point of entry all over again. If you’re a long time holder, This app will be there to make sure you throw your phone across the room when you make a bad gesture with your thumbs. Horrible horrible experience.

If you’re into crypto, this app will become your new bestfriend. I’ve recently hopped on the crypto bandwagon. It’s been about two months now, and overall, it’s been a hectic ride. There’s a unique emotional thrill that comes with watching your coin assets fluctuate throughout the weeks. A feeling I’ve been lucky to experience a handful amount of times. This app, CoinCap, adds the cherry on top. No other app on the market offers such a clean and simple UI to describe the chaotic nature of cryptocurrencies. CoinCap allows the user to quickly add/remove/edit (from a wide range of various coins/tokens!) your exchanged assets into a personal “altfolio.” This live-fed mechanism allows you to keep track of your asset values second-to-second. Lastly, you’ll have the ability to set alarms of various kinds for any coin you wish. This allows the frequent traders to be notified when to buy/sell/exchange to achieve your highest profit. This app was exactly what I was looking for, and I’m very glad I found it. 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10/10.

Good when it works. I really like this app when it works. Adding/subtracting amounts to my portfolio is really convenient, and I like that I can have up to 3 portfolios (I use it for different wallets of varying tokens). More than 3 would be even better. I appreciate the real-time prices a lot too. The main problem is that now the app isn’t loading at all, just shuts down when I start it. In general the startup has been slow too. (Both iOS, iPhone 5 & iPhone 7) If this became a paid app to support the developers I would definitely pay for it.

Awesome app but could be even better. This is by far the best crypto portfolio out there. However I have some improvements that could make it even more amazing. Firstly I think the alert system UI can be improved. It’s kind of a confusing layout. Also I would LOVE if you implicated 3D Touch so I could see my altfolio price quick any easy without having to wait for it to load. Other then this it’s flawless

Sack the latest Updater, Ruined the whole App. The new update is rubbish, I don’t who is that person stuffed it up. The following things gone bad. The person who updated this app recently tried to make app fancy, but has no creativity of making app user friendly and even ruined the previous app. 1. No more 3 monthly data 2. No more ranking numbers in front of the coins so we have to count every time now, 3. Got read of bright or white background and now only dark background is available so we can’t select the different background anymore.

Latest update has messed it. The app was working fine. Not super fine but at least doing it’s job up until latest update came on 19/7. Now when I try to open my altfolio, app just closes. Not usable at all.

Pretty good. So far I have had a good experience with this app. I wouldn’t use this specific app as a wallet but the real time tracking is great and shows the change through the well made user interface. Nothing specifically outstanding, but it’s not too shabby either way 4/5 too much water.

Always loses portfolio and watchlist when updating. In general good app, rarely crashes. But I made again the mistake letting it update and list once again all my settings. Now I have to type in again all my portfolio and watchlist. This is super annoying! Will probably rather look for another one.

Good Crypto App to track every coin, but needs improvement. It’s a great app for having all of of the cryptocurrencies available. But I’m frustrated with the lack of stability this app provides when it sometimes doesn’t load or crashes. In some cases I have had to open and close the app a number of times before the data loads. I also use AUD setting for currency and there are times where it will load as the default USD currency. There have been two occasions were cryptocurrency data has been incorrect by showing incorrect price data, which got my super excited when I thought one of my coins went up by 1000% until I went onto an exchange site to discover that was not the case.

Really nice, but…. This is beautifully designed, and easy to use. Props to the dev team. Unfortunately, there is no sync nor any other way to add your coins to another device. If you have two devices, you will have to add every coin to each device you own. Also, it would be helpful to sort based on other factors like the current value of your own holding in each coin or to group and sort coins on the way up separately to those that have fallen…

Easy to use, still to improve. I’ve downloaded casually this app to follow my crypto portfolio; it’s very easy to use and covers almost everything, but should be more stable (crashed twice in about 24h), and improve the charting. I anyway recommend it!

Overall pretty good. Latest version has taken away your portfolio total value display which was super handy and I sometimes get crashes when adding to my portfolio.

Alerts don’t work!. I really do love this app! However alerts are really important to me and they just don’t work, I’ve done everything allowed for notifications, turned them off/on again but nothing... please fix then I will give 5 stars for sure! Thank you for replying so quickly - 5 stars ! :)

Current version App crashes on iPad on startup. Couldn’t find the “contact us” link for this app, as it seems it’s purposely buried somewhere so I’m posting my complaint here. The current version of this App crashes every single time on startup using iPad, rendering it absolutely useless. iOS 11.2.2

Great crypto market app. Love the simple but effective layout and well chosen colours make this app a pleasure to use. The ability to track multiple folios at once is great for doing side by side comparisons so you can speculate whilst tracking your actual holdings. This app is my goto for checking the market.

Great app however occasional lag on iphone 7. Would love to give it a 5 star rating. due to occasional lag while using app.

Needs improvement and monetizisation.. This app does not have functional alerts as they are buggy. The app also doesn't update the graphs every 24 hours or even live so when you notice price change, the graph shows the opposite. Monetize this; so you have an incentive to improve this app, if improved it will be the best Cryptocurrency data application

Can’t sort altfolios????. With the new version you can’t sort altfolios coins. This makes the app really useless. Looking for alternatives

not working on ipad pro. please fix your software! it was working fine until last update, now it crashes right after launch!

Quite bad.. Keeps deleting items in portfolio so you lose historical performance of your assets. Very annoying.

Good but Buggy. A good app compared to some of the others out there. Well organized, good amount of coins and easy to personalize. I do find it buggy though.. it either hangs when trying to scroll through or just crashes. Hopefully a new update is on its way.

Really useful but impossible to use. This is a really good app, due to its features, unfortunately every time I open it on both iPad and iPhone it shuts down on its own.

Crashes on startup. I switched from CAD to USD and now my app crashes on startup, my only fix it to reinstall the app,

Used to be good, but not anymore.. This app used to be the best one out there. I used it multiple times a day. But the latest update makes it pretty much unusable. It crashes all the time, and lost my entire saved portfolio, and I can’t re-save a new one.

Good app !. We didnt have thr possibilitu to change the currency( euros, us dollar, can dollar...)

Crashes when checking altfolio.. Can no longer check my portfolios because they crash the app every time i open them. Would rate 5/5 otherwise, but the crashes need to be addressed asap.

Better than the other portfolio trackers but for a few nagging issues and a new major bug. Likely the best of the portfolio tracking apps in the store, but docking a couple stars: one for broken altfolio charts in the latest release, another for long-standing dumb UX/UI issues (altfolio pull to refresh is impossible on the smaller phones, green/red coloring based on recent trades rather than, say, 24h movement is asinine, etc.) That aside, however, it's the only app I've found that just lets you enter a new balance for our holdings rather than express it in terms of one or more trades, and since I don't want to track at that level of detail this is still the best app overall.

Refresh?. Is there some way to have the app refresh the totals when you open it? I have to swipe the app closed and reopen it to get the current prices every time. I have it set to use cell days when not on wifi but nothing will update the totals.

Altfolio feature not working. I’m on ios 16.0.3 with the latest app version, but whenever i try to create an altfolio, it does not work and the app turns to a white screen and crashes. I have always used coincap to keep up with crypto prices, but with such a key feature not working, I will have to move to another platform.

Alert Manager set, does not get notification alert. Got this app for this feature, does not work

Crashes on iPad 2. Installed and after I entered my altcoins, it seemed fine. But after tapping the new dashboard, it just crashes after my password

Where did CRO go?. This is probably one of the best portfolio tracking apps. There are better wallet apps that do the same, but almost no one has all of their holdings and one wallet. This is a good option to see all of your holdings in one app. Where did CRO go though? It was there a month ago and has now disappeared. For MCO hodlers this is a must have.

App freezes all the time. App freezes all the time when brought from background to foreground or when refreshed. Mailed support, no response at all. This is just a marketing app for shapeshift, so they don't care much to fix this app. This app is there to drive sales for shapeshift.

Still Crashing on Ipad. Crashes upon startup. I am using the app on iPad 4, OS 10.3.3 This app was pretty good, until I updated to version 1.3.3 Version 1.4 is still crashing Version 1.5.1 still crashing

Critical bug since November 2017. Fix your app. It crashes on iPad ever since an update in November 2017. Multiple updates to the app have been released without addressing this critical bug. Seems like the developers either don’t care or don’t know how to fix it. Deleting this app from my devices.

Not bad. I like the app better than Blockfolio, however a couple of issues. Please enable the support button in app. Also, adding more exchange feeds would also be nice, as I have holdings that don’t appear I. The apps search.

Keeps freezing. Great when it works, although I question the accuracy of apps like these, and it tend to freeze quite often.

Clean and simple. Clean and simple UI. Sliding along the price graph history is pretty janky. This is currently my only complaint (as a casual user). Would also like to see a 3 month graph history.

Alert Manager Doesn’t Work... The app is only good for checking prices, I’ve tried countless times to get the alert manager to work, it’s useless(might as well view a website). It’ll sometimes alert if you input a weekly/day timeframe but if you switch to just notify on High/Low limits..you’ll never get a msg. I tested 6 coins, lower limit and upper broken buy dollar amounts, no alert/msg in sight.

Fabulous UI But Alerts Do Not Work Properly. Love the look and feel, and ease of use. Data is accurate - however I have not as of yet been able to get any alerts to work properly. Specifically, the high/low alerts. Until it is rectified, it’s a total deal breaker. Be careful.

Decent, but a bit out of date. The app works well enough, though I sometimes have to kill it and restart to get it to update prices. However, it’s missing a lot of coins and tokens from its list

No sync. Love the app but would love to see a feature that allows you to sync an updated portfolio between 2 or more phones. My wife and I use the app and when one of us makes a change, we have to manually update the other portfolio. Otherwise great app.

Great App, but it struggles to retrieve data.. I love this app when it’s functional. (Which is most of the time) But with some frequency, it struggles to pull in the updated coin data. Quitting and restarting the app seems to help. I’m sure they will get this ironed out. Very cool otherwise.

Loved the idea but slow and glitchy. App was extremely slow to update, many times I had to shut it down and restart it to pull fresh prices. Adding coins to the altfolio broke and my device would sit and spin endlessly. I gave up at that point. Before then I used it for about 3 months but the glitches and speed never got better.

Functionality is great but severely lacking performance. There’s no point in how it looks and how it works if the app lags every few seconds. I'm on an iPhone 7 Plus, no less, so it's a little disappointing to barely be able to use it. I'm forced to use blockfolio until performance issues are addressed.

How do you buy coins?. I like the app. When I click the buy button it goes to a non working address. How does one buy cc through this app? The color flashing when values update is annoying. Thanks

Great app. Thank you so much for not having ads. Simple, easy to understand layout. Just want some more customization for alerts but definitely worth it.

Can’t set alerts anymore. Used to be great (despite the slow performance, which I understand to be a result of all the data it’s pulling) but now you can’t set price alerts which really lowers the value of the app. The altfolio feature is great but I need price alerts. Hopefully they’ll bring it back soon!

Just stick with the website. This app is buggy. If you have a long watch list, you can scroll once, then it’s locked until you kill the app and restart. Also doesn’t update the prices most of the time. It’s stuck at some point in time when everything went down 18% and neglects to join the present day.

My preferred way of checking coin prices. I use this app every day a little laggy on sign in but the rest is smooth with easy to read charts

Broken. Good app, nice altfolio option. Worked for a while but now it just displays incorrect prices. Not much else to say, the prices supposedly update real time but they flutter between the actual price and then something drastically higher or lower and then remain at the incorrect price. Wouldn’t give such a low score but this app does one thing and it does it wrong so don’t get it. Just use the coinmarketcap website.

Slow, buggy, lack of basic features. App has a slow loading splash screen every single time you load it. Also - no way to load straight to your portfolio. App is a bit laggy as well which causes weird issues when scrolling. Can’t sort portfolio by which coin is most profitable for you.

Lags a lot, crashes a lot. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, and while it’s really great at the task it’s supposed to perform *when it works*, it freezes and crashes the majority of the time. Whatever is causing it to lag like this needs fixed, and the app will be far better when that happens.

Crypto Coins updates & Aditions. Please keep the App updates more frequently due to appearance of new Crypto Coins. Specially watch the new coins appearing due to parachains startups

Great App!. This is a great app and I can see it getting better as time progresses but I wish they would add the ability to use API’s to automatically sync exchanges rather then inputting them one by one.

Latest update App is crashing. I really love this app. But my phone did an auto-update and now it’s crashing. I hope you can fix this quick.

Review. Great app just like a paid stock market application but for free with no ads! With a live feed of each cryptocoin ! Would recommend 10/10

No Landscape View. This App would Be perfect If it offered rotation and LANDSCAPE View, I Pretty Sure This is an Easy Fix And Will Be Released on The Next Update Other Than That This is Definitely a 5 Star App.

Great app for crypto investors still long way to go. The altfolio management and prices updates are great to work, my only issue is with the alert manager it still provides the alerts that are removed from alerts.

Great visual representation of alt coins. Love the visual charts of this app. My favorite to keep track of all the alt coins in one spot from a quick glance. The over time graphs load a little slow though

Some glitches, overall very good.. There’s not too many options out there when you want real-time crypto prices. decent app. Occasionally it won’t be able to retrieve current prices

Did the developers retire?. Developers really need to update this app because it’s incredibly buggy. How does anyone not check this garbage to make sure it’s working properly? How many times do I have to create an Altfolio before it gets deleted or bugs out?!? Also, it’s boring. Can you at least change the colors to make it look like it has a pulse?

Awesome app, but needs a widget. I’ve tried out several other apps but I like the set up of this one far better. It just really needs a widget

Update 2.0. I had an issue with my altfolio’s disappearing after update 2.0. I contacted support and they restored them. All is good now and the app works perfectly for my needs of tracking of my crypto. Cheers!

Good. Needs some improvements.. I like the app. It’s real-time up to some seconds but that doesn’t hurt me too much. What needs to be looked at is it does not send push-notifications for the alerts that are set. Someone please reply if you are aware.

Broken update. I updated this app, and now it won’t launch or open. Hope they fix this as my altfolio has all my crypto’s tracked. My advice, DONT UPDATE

Love it. Just wish there was a setting to have the icon display the current price of a currency of my choice in a badge style. Also a lock screen widget would be great.

Great App. Fairly quick with price changes. Sometimes the app freezes but usually exiting out and reopening fixes that problem. Probably due to so much traffic recently. Very easy to interpret!

Laggy. Good app. It’s basically where you monitor your currencies by inputting your amounts into a mock portfolio. So that’s cool, but it lags too much. Every item I open the app I have to wait 10 seconds before I can actually use it. Kinda annoying. I’m gonna go see if there is a better app out there.

v2.0 wiped out my favorites/altfolios/watchlist. so forcing me to upgrade to 2.0 means that i lose all the cryptos i was following? um, no thanks... on top of my v1 history not being preserved, they made the new version a lot more UI static, it no longer looks like a live ticker, just looks static, and leaves me wondering how long since the last update and how current is the new price change/volume.

They are amateurs, don’t trust them. I loved this app and its simplicity for keeping track of all my coins. I just updated to newest version and initially it was messed up in terms of how it was displaying coin names. Now today I opened it to check my holdings and all my portfolios are empty. They seriously need to test before they release an update. I can’t see myself ever trusting this app again if my portfolios are indeed gone. Frustrating.

Great app!. App keeps current with many Altcoins in the market. Coincap also has a neat feature where it helps you manage your portfolios. Very straight forward and easy to use platform.

Almost there.... App is good but needs more options like the actual website. Also there are some coin/token symbols that are on the app that are not on the website which could be very confusing. Fix those & you'll be miles ahead of other apps.

Note to Dev’s on Update. With the new update, opening “altfolios” tab causes app to crash on iPad Pro. I’m sure you guys will get this fixed up quick, thanks for the great app.

I’d give four stars if it didn’t crash constantly. When I finally manage to get it to run, it’s great. API settings would be wonderful so I don’t have to manually adjust after every trade... There are better apps out there but this UI is clean and quick, if it would only load reliably every time I use it.

Pretty great. CoinCap is awesome! The only thing I wish it had was the ability to put in the price that you bought coins at in your “altfolio” so and then showed your percent increase/decrease. But even without that it’s a great app

Good App, but... Overall I really enjoy this app, however it does freeze quite often. The biggest thing I would like to see are price alerts, so I do not have to use a second app for that.

Breach of privacy. Touch ID no longer works with CoinCap. When you open the app it shows all information which is very risky. Please bring back the security factor of Touch ID

Great App!. Perfect to keep track of your portfolio value and up to the second individual. coin values. One feature I’d like to see, is the ability to turn off the flashing green and red but without turning off the continual updates.

Possible upgrades. Love this app! But would love to be able to also see the 1 hour, 24 hour, & 7 day gain/loss percentages! Thank you!

Effective little app. Does what it needs to do quick and clean - I do wish i could pick which exchanges it queried or tone down the refresh rate a few seconds as the interface can get a bit chaotic. Otherwise great!

Fantastic app!!!!!!. Been using Blockfolio forever but was always a pita updating too many variables. This makes everything easy. 5 stars! PS - please make night mode.

Good and.... The realtime price updates are nice and I really like the ability to have 3 altfolios. It would be nice to be able to backdate the coin acquisition date to properly reflect value changes over time. As it is it's a good too to reflect current value of portfolio.

Slow response. This is exactly the kind of app I want, so it's a shame the values are slow to update. Compare the current prices in the app to another crypto monitor on a web browser and you'll see the prices don't match up. Loading of the price change graphs is also extremely slow. Please fix this! I want to use this app, but I want it to be reliable.

Dark mode. Can you please allow your logo splash screen to follow dark mode settings? I want to be able to check my crypto at night and not be blinded by your logo.

Informative. Coin cap has been my primary tool for watching all coins from my mobile device - they provide a wonderful service.
