Not one of BF best. As others have said, u are running around trying to find pieces that fit into other pieces, I also prefer true HO CHALLANGES. Also feels like I have played this one before. A problem I have noticed recently is games are marked as "NEW" when they are NOT. Rather deceiving to put the date as a few days ago and version is 1.0.0 when u find out it's been updated

Greed interrupts play. Annoying

Longer than usual.. The puzzles were new feeling and the game was longer than their games usually are. I personally don’t care about the HOPs as much as everyone else seems to. I do like the ones that you use the objects better, but it’s still a worthwhile game imo...especially being on sale right now.

One of my favorites. Great graphics and story. Puzzles are not to hard nor too easy.

Zero percent intuitive. It started out okay, but without using hints, you're lost. The mini games are strange--and the instructions are useless; thank God for the "Skip" option. How this game made it through any sort of quality check is beyond me.

Ryli. This game, so far, makes no sense to me. I’ve only played a small part of it. How are you suppose to collect Parables? Well, let me get back to it and see if it makes sense later on in the game

Awesome. What’s not to like? Spectacular graphics, creative puzzles, likeable characters, interesting challenges, decent storyline, and plenty long. Since when can I not play a game in one night, lol! I really enjoyed it. There could have been a bit more creativity in the type of HO games, rather than always finding random components of your desired article in an unrelated picture, but really the items always turned out so beautiful it does not take a star off for me. I truly recommend this one.

Meh. Everything's the same! Great opening but downhill from there -- just when it seemed like it would get better, well, it didn't. I'm disappointed. This is supposed to be diverting, not tedious. Not even going to bother finishing. This is not worth the price.

By far the longest gameplay of any other HOAG. I loved this game. The F.R.O.G.’s were very interesting and had me on my toes trying to find all the pieces. The controls were flawless, the scenery, 2nd to none. Well worth the money. Cudos BF!

The queen of sans rocks. This is a fun game with lots of puzzles and it is. Clear on where to travel next..and it has a clever storyline. The graphics are very bright lots of color

Barely worth $2.99. I don’t like fragmented object games. I like good old hidden objects. So this game didn’t satisfy me. I gave it 3 stars because the graphics were okay (just okay, not great) and it was a lengthy game. The story was kind of stupid and juvenile.

No Custom Difficulty. I immediately deleted the game as soon as I found that I cannot customize my difficulty settings.

Loved it. Hops are FROGs (fragmented objects) in this game, just fair warning. This doesn’t bother me, but it might some. I like the ornate and colorful items you receive from them. Lovely graphics. Lots of puzzles, yay! They range from easy to medium, and are uniquely designed. The storyline is good. I do wish the Parables you collect would actually cohere to the gameplay, but I don’t think I’ve played a Dark Parables yet that actually did that. So, the stories told in the Parables, while similar to the game, are not exactly the same. It was weird to have the red riding hood sisters appear but not be more involved. The game was long. The bonus game is good. You collect fleur de lys in each scene, 39 in all. Parables are morphing objects that you find randomly throughout the game. If you want them all, I suggest you refer to the strategy guide. All in all, a delightful, entertaining game!

I love the game. It was actually fun game I wish it had about this to it too but was excellent one of the best games I’ve played yet

Queen of sands. I rarely write reviews, but this was one of my favorite games. I loved the mini games, which deviated from the typical object finding. I now look forward to the next in the series.

Almost perfect. Pretty good but a lot of emblems to figure out. Prefer more hidden object screens. Like having the two items a like and using one object to find another on the hidden object scenes. Overall worth the entertainment.

Definitely recommend!. I have been a true fan of Dark Parables games from high school to adulthood. The very first game I have played was Snow White and the White Witch (Please bring that game back to iPad!). The Dark Parables series all go almost the same way, with little differences in between, like the Little Mermaid one. However, the storyline is catchy and the game is fairly long for the game itself. I am an easy person when it comes to ratings unless it comes to horrible games (which I have encountered some before). I have read some reviews from other games of how people would come back to the game about 2 to 3 times before writing a review. This is my 3rd time playing Queen of Sands, so I thought to give a review. I’m giving it a 5 star (I am somewhat biased since I love the games so much) because of the length of the game itself, the storyline, and as well as the mini-games in between the hidden object portion. Recommend!

Find the pieces. Unfortunately I HATE find the pieces HO games like this. I find them very boring. I look for things that look out of place, and, poof, I found them all. I MUCH prefer a list of items to find. So, for me this is no sale. Too bad, too, because I'm dying to play a good HO game.

Pretty good game. Nice storyline and great bonus. Good mix of puzzles. My only gripe is that I don’t like the style of hops used. Very difficult to see some of the objects.

Volksy48. I enjoyed this game. Everything worked exactly as it should. Storyline followed on well. Graphics lovely. Not a fan of the HOP puzzles featured, would rather have the straight seek and find instead of the construction type, so many bits did not show up well on the dark grid so ended up just tapping the whole screen to get them done, became boring. Puzzles were good, managed most of them. Especially like the opportunity to play them again in the extras section. Recommend this one.

Not for me. Needs update. 2019. This Dark Parables was my first one and unfortunately it did not convince me. Here are the reasons why: - The cinematics are awful. Very blurry and dated. (I play on iPhone) - Too many items to collect, that you will have to keep in your inventory forever without knowing when to use them. - Not sure what to do next most of the time so had to use the hint a lot. - Certain games or interactions are not made for iPhone as the screen is too small and you have to be quite precise. - Some mini-games are way too hard and the instructions are terrible. Had not idea what I had to do so I had to skip a few times. - Too many mini-games which slows the game down and the storyline in general. Storyline that I didn't enjoy... - Too much reading (scrolls, books, letters...) - Hints not available in all the mini games so have to skip... shame. - Music too repetitive - Didn't enjoy the hidden objects scenes (they were all the same, you have to rebuild objects...perfume bottles etc..) The only thing I liked really was the vibrant colors. Glad I didn't pay full price. Paid AUD4,99 instead of 10,99. Not sure I will buy another Dark Parables game.

Disjointed & poor story writing.. I find this game to be sorely lacking in the usual smooth flow of other games in the series. The mini games were good. The story line was s little stupid at times. (Sorry for saying that, but it is what it is). I've always enjoyed the games in this series, but now it seems like they're running out of story lines. (Sort of like a over written D&D campaign). There are lots of fairy tales to choose from, so I do not see why they've deviated from their norm of writing. Please go back to your writing style from d previous games. (You've exhausted the "red riding hood",, line). No problems with technical aspects. Even at the sale price, because of the redundancy in writing of and just boring story telling, the game wasn't worth purchasing or playing. Please go back to your original story telling and stick with the fairy tales.

Queen of sands. Poorly done. The animation lacking smooth flow. It fades to black too often and for too long. Very poorly done. The storyline is silly and disjointed. Not worth time or money.
