Too many bugs to count. Nonfunctional service.. This is a great concept, but almost every part of the execution is nonfunctional due to bugs. Every song I import gives a message "Chordify is out of tune." Which I guess is a cute indirect way of saying "this app is buggy". I was eventually able to upload my songs through the website, but each one stalled several times. Once converted, the timing is way off. It's almost comical listening to the chords on top of the music. It's almost exactly a beat behind, so the chords come crashing in a moment too late. I don't mind that it's not very accurate; the conversion is close enough I can figure it out, so kudos for that. I try to share the chords, but the person on the other end just sees a "page cannot be displayed" error. Useless. So I'm taking screenshots and texting them instead. I've received other errors too, like a message that I can't upload more songs because I've reached the limit. But when I try again it uploads fine. But then, as I mentioned before, it stalls or gives an error during the conversion process. This is all happening with a premium account, by the way. I've contacted their tech support about these issues. If they can resolve them, I'll update my review to reflect that. I really want it to work!

Trap. Just now Joined. First screen after creating Password offers Free Trial Premium. I saw no place to skip or decline or say No Thanks, not to go back to the previous page. Only a Green Button with Thanks would get the page to move. I went to settings and Manage Account and there it is I had agreed to a free trial of premium I did not want to agree to. In the description of this App it leads you to believe that by downloading the app you will be able to use the metronome, the Key Change / transpose feature ... what the App description does not tell you is: There is a Premium. That’s right. The features so helpful are accessible only with the Premium Account. In Summary: the deceptive advertising of the old “Bait - Switch”. Going to Delete this App Now. PS: unfortunately they have the cookies as described in the Terms & Conditions to pass to All Social Media and third parties, etc., for free. At least I am not going to Pay monthly to continue to “share”, while the Allow (only if I pay them) to use their Features of the App. Done.

They just want your money. It wasn’t long ago I could easily use my phone or tablet to play songs using their actual website...Now all of a sudden everything is different and buggy and doesn’t work....so I download the app like they want me to, but OF COURSE there has to be a monthly fee in order to even see all of the chords in a song. A song that I’ve used their website before to play, for free, but now they want money every month for....its sad and ridiculous, I just want to play my ukulele without a monetary attachment is that so much to ask? Ugh. And they even say that the app makes learning songs “10x easier” HAHA yeah, it’s actually 100x harder to use their program than it was 6 months ago. Very disappoint. Sometimes things change for the worse and this is a prime example.

???. I am confused, someone told me this app rocks, and they play a piano, and I do too. But I don’t understand because it plays as a guitar, and I want it as the piano, and I can change it to a piano, but how they told me it was easy to use, but for me it does not seem to be easy. (And not to be rude but she is... dumb....) and she can’t play piano at all, and I can play, but still, I don’t how to do it. And I don’t know how to come up for the piano part of a song I made, and they said it makes up or helps with a song they are making, but it doesn’t do that, it only tells you how to play a song that is already made up. Sorry that this makes no sense, but I don’t know how to word it at all!

This app USED to be the best.. This app used to rock and I would tell EVERYONE about it but now I noticed you can only view ONE song a day unless you pay for premium and now I don’t see the point and deleted it. I learned how to play ukelele and piano on here and used it all through college and now it seems like they’re only after money because I totally get how the premium features are worth it and there were times when I would purchase it for a while to help me with projects but now you can barely even use it unless you pay for it and that totally feels like betrayal. I hope someone else makes a similar app that is better and doesn’t force you to go premium. They must be chillin with Elon.

One thing to fix. I sure wish after playing a song from favorites that it would return to the same place where you left off instead of starting at the beginning. Better yet, create Settings so we can control navigation of favorites as we like. But if I’m going down the list of favorites playing songs I don’t want to have to go back to the very beginning and thumb down again to play the next song.

Favorites. I love this app and use it all the time. Every once it awhile it will act kind of jittery though and it’s frustrating. For instance sometimes when I’m scrolling through my favorites and choose a song, when I exit out it scrolls me ALL THE WAY back to the top. Not a huge deal but I do have over 200 songs saved and it definitely is an inconvenience. Also sometimes when I favorite a song it doesn’t show up in my library even after I go back and make sure I have favorited it. Other than that great app and super helpful!

Keeper. Chordify is a music app that fies chords. Hence, Chordify. Henceforth, whence thou needeth many chords at your digit tips, the Chordify engine will crank out some letters with symbols like #, or b, or it might even have the elusive add9 or sus4. Now you’ll be able to play “All by myself “ for that beautiful young lady and you’ll no longer be “All by yourself.” You gots a hunny now you sneaky dog. BUT! NOT only will the app find your chords immediately, the app has a keyboard that gives you the ability to play the keyboard with many sounds. Like a synth pad or electric piano. There are so many more sounds. What I want to say is to convince or give you a little push to get the app: of all my wonderful music apps and synthesizers and what not, if I could only keep 3 apps on my phone, Chordify would be right in there. 5 stars yes!

Made relearning the guitar fun. I have been out of practice for a while. It was hard finding a way to get back into a routine. This app made it a lot easier and fun by giving me the ability to get the chords to all of the songs that I enjoy and the scrolling feature is awesome as I put my phone on my sound doc, hit play, and jam right along. Can feel myself getting back into the grove and my skill level progressing.

Great but lacking. This app has everything from looking up playable versions of the songs you love, changing the instrument, down or up shifting the key, slowing or quickening the tempo… the play along style is perfect for learning a song quickly and keeping tempo as well. I feel like they thought of all the complicated stuff… but they’re missing all the simple stuff. There is nowhere to just view the tabs, or just lyrics. If you’re trying to go over one part over and over without having to push play all the time and switch back and forth between the chords (which are sometimes inaccurate, granted you have the ability to report incorrect songs, but who knows how long it takes to fix them) the app can just be frustrating.

Change the type?. So I have limits on apps from my parents wanting me to be off my phone, which is ok, but this isn’t an app I use just to mess around. I want to learn an instrument and with the limits on ‘entertainment’ type apps, I can only be on this app for half an hour. That’s not helpful, idk. Would you please change it to ‘teaching’? Idk if you can, but it is a teaching app and it’s be lovely to work with it more, since it’s such an amazing app otherwise. Thank you! Plz read

Too Expensive - Great App. I have been using this app since the free version. It is an excellent app for finding music for your favorite songs. However, a monthly subscription fee is absurd. I have noted the trend now by app developers is to attach a monthly fee for use of their app. I would rather pay for the app and use it at my discretion. This is greed and a ripoff. How much money do you think the average aspiring musician has laying around? Nearly a $100 per year for use of this app is consumer a consumer heist. I am extremely disappointed developers have chosen this route.

Simple && easy. Been wanting to learn my all time favorite song on the piano and I didn’t know where to start and this app right here help me learn it , like it shows me where to have my fingers when playing the song , and I can put the song at a tempo that I’m comfortable in and play along while the song is actually playing , and I all happy bout it , I put my grandma on this app and she loves it .

Fantastic app. I am a working musician. I work with several different bands and several different genres of music this app takes tons of time off my personal rehearsal sessions. most of the time there is no band rehearsal just straight into the studio or straight on stage. I don’t have to spend so much time finding chords which is the major thing. it is usually the difference between getting the gig, drawing a paycheck, or being told you can’t cut it! This app definitely puts the numbers in my favor

Progression displays and PDFs, not ready for prime time. PDFs and in-app diagrams desperately need reworking. If someone were to put these displays and/or lead sheets (PDFs) in front of any serious musician, they’d either laugh at derisively while struggling to keep their place, or they would walk out of the session. Here’s why: standard lead sheets are four measures across. This, of course is owing to the fact that the majority of popular music sections are divisible by four (8, 12, 16, 32 bars). When this app renders a PDF that is a ludicrous 11 bars across the page, it is darn near impossible to use for either practice or rehearsal. I do get that section, navigation, and dynamic markers would be extremely challenging (programming – wise), but a standard four bars across, perhaps in a larger font, seems within reach, if not trivial. Other parts of the app are very helpful, but I’m sure I am not the only musician who finds the format of the progressions cumbersome and frustrating. The only other reservation I have so far, is that the analysis of songs that I’ve input so far don’t seem to recognize or honor slash chords. As a bass player who utilizes a fair bit of voice leading, I still have to rely solely on my ear to suss out what’s happening. I would do this anyway, so it’s a smaller concern by far then the formatting issue cited above. Thanks for your consideration.

Great way to learn an instrument. I learned to play piano using this app. I have learned 150+ songs in the 3 years or so I’ve been using this app. It’s a great way to give yourself small, achievable goals and learn to play an instrument one song at a time. Each new song will likely add a few new chords and after learning about 30-40 songs I had encountered every major and minor chord and become comfortable with them. Now, after 150+ songs, I have picked up a lot of music theory as well and been able to apply those tools to my own songwriting. I will note that this is not always accurate. It’s actually not too uncommon to encounter the wrong chords being given. But since you are playing along with the actual track, it is pretty easy to notice the spots where the chords are wrong. This can be a negative, however I feel that these occasional errors have helped improve playing by ear. The chords are usually right enough to orient you in a key, and if a chord here and there is wrong, you can figure out what’s needed by ear. Overall, great app! I’m sure I wouldn’t be at the level I’m at on piano without it!

Great app but I’m confused. This might be a long review this might be a short one I don’t know but I do know that I am severely confused on how to work this app. all I know how to do is search a song and listen to it. I came here from a video of Tate McRae, a singer and she said that she chose her song melodies and chords from this app but I don’t know what to do to make my own or to get ideas for a song. and all of the other reviews are talking about how great this app is when you wanna learn to play an instrument but I’m really confused on what to even do on this app. I’m gonna give it 3 stars because it doesn’t explain how to use the app (and don’t call me Karen for this it’s just my honest opinion and I think that they can improve on it.) Please answer my comment and tell me how to use this thing. also thanks for reading this long comment, it is a great app it just needs to be improved a little bit. ✌️Peace out fam!

Love!!. After 30 years or so…. Felt the deep down need and desire to play again. I bought a new beautiful Acoustic 6string downloaded this app and despite my very sore fingertips…. I have a hard time putting down my new guitar as I refer to as a friend!!! This app is flipping amazing!!!! I purchased the year subscription and I am certainly going to use it!!! If this were around in the 80”s ……. Lol. I would’ve been a rockstar by now. Maybe wishful thinking, I am just loving your app! I went from not playing at all to, what can I learn next. Just add lyrics to your chords and that would be the best ever!!

Jesus genuinely loves you 💗. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all!

Terrible app, it doesn’t work. Changing my original 2 stars to 1 star. App misses obvious chords, leaves blank measures. Messes up the rhythm, in particular at beginning of songs. Gets other chord change wrong. This app does not do what it claims to do. Period. ———————-original rating below—————— Not impressed so far I am sure it is very difficult to program this type of app, but the accuracy of the cords is pretty low. Too low to be really useable in my opinion. The app program also seems to get confused by timing. Example, I was looking for the Al Jarreau version of Since I fell For You, clearly in 4/4 time and the app for some reason thinks it is 3/4 time. Additionally it appears the only chords it can find are 135 major and 135 minor chords. No major 7, no major 6, no diminished, etc. Far too basic for real music. As a novelty this app is fun, but as a really usable app tool for generating the correct chords to a song, not so much. Hopefully there will be improvements in the future.

This app is a JOKE!!!! Use the website instead. at first glance the website for Chordify was really cool so when I saw that they had an app I was more than happy to download it but whenever I search a song up nothing ever comes up But on the website, it’s fine I know the rating contradicts the review but this is the only way to make people see this considering when I went to see if anyone was having the saving problem as me I only got to see five star ratings.

Wow forced charging after years of free use. I guess it was bound to happen that y’all would get greedy and now only allow three songs a day to be played. Still a great app but man talk about blindsiding your users and now forcing them to pay of the want to play more than three songs. I hope the app improves greatly and the song choice change more frequently than they don’t since y’all are now implementing only three free songs a day or pay for more. A great tool to learn an instrument for therapeutic purposes, now polluted by force pay to play. Metronome timing feature is not accurate, nor the chord feature…something I’ll never use since it’s timing is off, but yay, no I have to pay yearly to play more than three songs a day

Upgrades. The keys/chords it list on most videos are okay, however, is not great or prefect. When you want to print chords is just the chords and not the lyrics. When one selects the option to change the key either higher or lower it does it however if you try to follow along the video you playing is out of pitch. Meaning it will not sound right. Would be nice to be able to change pitch while changing keys to be able to follow along. Also why not give the option to be able to print with the lyrics. One last note is that you can add favorites but you can not organize them by any way. It would be nice to be able to have playlist and rate songs and be able to categorize songs for example song list 1 for a church member that needs to practice certain songs and so for. A lot of improvement to be done app is good but could be great especially since it’s a subscription based. Hope you take the tips, thanks.

Really unique and useful app!. I love this app! Love that it shows chord finger diagrams for piano too. Love love love! Very happy and impressed I am. Not many other chord/tab apps support piano. I continually use this app to learn new songs everyday! Its surprising still that so many songs are chordified! And even multiple different live versions of the songs are chordified! That is impressive. And thank you to all that have contributed to chordify songs. Sure, not all songs are accurate, but there are so many other versions of the song to pick from. So it's all good. I have no complaints. In fact, it encourages me to chordify some songs that I know that aren't chordified yet. My only suggestion to the developers is: please add a feature that will allow the app to automatically pull up the song that is currently playing in my Apple Music. That would be very helpful and time-saving. Thank you!

I’m giving up.. I’ve been using as a paid customer for a few years now. But there’s been little to no functionality updates in that time. The worst being it’s treatment of your favorites list. If you scroll way down the list, then select one to play, and then back out of it, you get sent way back to near the top again, losing your place. I have scores of favorites way down there and I can’t explore those without lots of unnecessary scrolling. I’ve told support a couple times and they always let me know they are aware and give the general “we are working hard to improve the product”. I get it, that’s their job. But this is really a core requirement for managing a huge list, you shouldn’t have it snap back up when you back out of a selection. How can an app that charges over $40 a year get away with this? I just canceled my auto-payment. I’m done.

Wow!. For someone just screwing around with an ukulele they found left in a park, this app has helped to boost my instrumental ability. The format is pretty user friendly, and while you don’t absolutely need all the premium features, I’m honestly contemplating paying for them! What you get off the bat are the essentials to learn with scrolling chord charts and timing squares. I would probably suggest setting the chord charts as the default, because they initially have just chord names, but you can change the setting if you’re not already familiar with them. And the fact you can look up anything that’s a music video and this app analyzes and breaks it down for you is AWESOME!!!

Excellent tool for learning to play with a group!. I love this app! If you want to get comfortable playing with others, this is the way to go. Type in a song name, or even a group’s name, and you’ll find a variety of options to choose from. Once you choose a song, play along with the original artists. If you don’t know the chord, just tap the View tab, and choose Diagram. My playing has improved tremendously since I started using Chordify. My only request is that the option for 5-string banjo be included in the instrument options. Right now, I have to use my iPad for the music and chord names, but I have to keep my phone nearby to find the chord diagrams for chords that I don’t know. Including the banjo in instruments would be helpful.

I actually love this app. I had bought a year subscription last year and it got cancelled recently so I looked around for another similar app and there are many but they are either more expensive or just not what I want. I like that I can have playlists here. They ended up offering another yr subscription for 20$ so I was like heck yeah!! Thank you chordify ! It’s been about 4 years and I’ve learned so many songs on the ukulele! I couldn’t sing and play at the same time for the life of me in 2018 but now (with not that much practice) I can sing and play at the same time!! Not a paid review btw lol

ATTENTION DEVS. First off, great app, love it. The absolute biggest annoyance with this app comes from a large song played history. If i scroll 4 pages down to play a song when I’m finished I have to scroll back down 4 pages to get to where I was at. I have 570 songs in my history and getting to the end of the list is painful if I play any songs along the way. Can’t you make it take me back to where I was during my scrolling instead of taking me to the top?? Thanks so much.

I don’t have a title 😐. I gave it a 4 because I am just a beginner pianist and I have no money to pay for the premier. My parents wanted me to learn the piano to play at our church. I can’t do anything other than just playing along with, which is great but I need to learn more. I hope there can be piano lessons too or how memorize the notes faster or something to help students like me learn how to play faster and better in like 3 months. But this app has helped me a lot. I searched everywhere for it. Thank you foe making this app.

Love Hate it. I got a bunch of songs on one account and then i got signed out one day automatically for some reason.. and half of my songs disappeared 🥲 3 months pass and i have a few extra songs in file but, then the songs disappeared again. I signed in now for a day and after getting home from work, i cant sign back into my account. There might be a data problem please fix this 🥲 this app is so amazing and all i do is play guitar. It would be sweet to be able to have hundreds of songs in my account

Good app. Lots of fun. Room for improvement.. I have really enjoyed using Chordify to help me learn to play the guitar. I am modifying my previous review because as time has moved on, this app has not. It seems the developers have ignored their supporters. Multiple requests have been made to fix the issue in the IOS app where the app fails to return to the last song selected but goes to the end of the 25 song buffer that is programmed in. I can’t imagine this to be a difficult fix, but the request to do so has continually been ignored. The ability to sort and store one’s library has also been ignored. They continue to want renewal fees, but have failed miserably to update their app. Another year, and still no significant changes to the functionality of the app. It is difficult to manage the personal library. Editing in the IOS app has issues too.

The best app for playing songs. I have been using this app for almost a year now and it has not only brought me the pleasure of playing the songs that I like, but it has also enhanced my overall guitar skills. I’m 67 years old and just got back into guitar playing after many years of not playing. Chordify has aided me on my journey to return to playing. I use it everyday as I practice. Highly recommend this app.

Chords in app. Although the app does not get every particular chord right, it does just enough for you to figure out the chords on your own. If you have been playing for a while and you hear a new song that your stuck on this app will give you an idea where to start. You might have to transition the keys on the diagram to get the right sound but it is worth downloading. I don’t recommend this for beginners but more for people who have been playing for about 4-9 months depending on how fast of a learner you are. But, every time I get on this app I learn a song.

used to be better. this app was a go-to when it came to wanting to learn new songs, you can basically find any song you’d like to play and receive accurate chords, it was one of my fav apps. i loved and was amazed by the fact that you could literally look up and play as many songs as you liked, and i used to spend hours sat down tryna learn any song. however, up until a few weeks ago after they added some new update, which included a limit of songs per day, i was quickly disappointed and sad at the fact that the app changed this drastically. this is an immense downgrade imo, though i do get why they would do this. perhaps they're tryna go after the money or the income w the app wasn’t as great and therefore they had to make such low move. ): kinda feel bad for recommending this app to some of my friends now

Best application available. This is the best and highly recommended application available to enjoy playing music for music lovers like me. I have made a significant improvement learning new songs and being able to play with other more advanced music enthusiasts. This application has thousands of songs ready to play in addition to any songs that I import from my own library with high accuracy. I use the chords provided using my left hand and this helps me to follow the melody by ear.

Very disappointed in customer service. I started playing guitar in 2021 and I found this app and it helped me tremendously. Fast forward to 2023 the set lists I made over 200 and have now disappeared and can’t use or create new,tge setlists took me months to make going through every artist and album. Then I got my brother to sign back up again after 6 months away and he paid for the premium and he is only allowed to play 3 songs a day. So after contacting Chordify they can’t refund him even thou he can prove and showed them the receipt. He paid on Black Friday and immediately the app won’t work for him and they won’t do anything about it. And he just wants to play and have fun. Returning his money is second option. But looks like they don’t care even after I have messaged them several times. And also the app crashes a lot missing chords.

Could use some simple interface improvements. For example, if you want to play a song from your “favorites” list you have to scroll through all of them to find it, you can’t just search for it on the fly (which would be much easier)! Also, they only let you “favorite” like 70 songs and that’s even paying for “premium” Other than that it’s an incredible app and I use it to jam on piano all the time! I would be lost without it sometimes!

Everything you need. This app provides everything you need in order to learn any song possible you want and transpose and just Chordify in a variety of instruments too it’s helped me tremendously and I’m working at a camp this year the kids will love what I’ve learned from this app. Perfect❤️ definitely worth the $42 for the year I’ve had it for two years and haven’t been disappointed since

Love this app! Highly recommend.. Having moved from guitar to piano, this app has really enhanced my ability to learn new songs on the piano quickly. I have to remember to use the little heart logo to save my songs, because I am learning new stuff so quickly I am forgetting to go back and practice the new songs I have learned, I just keep adding more. One enhancement I hope they will consider is bookmarks. I would really like to bookmark a section of a song to easily practice a difficult section. I highly recommend this app!

Amazing! Just one gripe.. First off, this app is AWESOME! It makes learning guitar so easy. It synchs the chords to the song your learning and gives you the diagrams for the chords. But, unless you have premium, you don’t get anything else. You won’t know if it’s got a capo, you can’t adjust the transpose, and you really can only add a countdown at the beginning of the song so you can prepare. Very easy to use, has tons of songs, and very useful, but it’s better with a premium subscription.

Completely useless if it’s not a 4-chord pop song.. I’m baffled as to how this app has so many 5-star reviews. The only explanation I can think of is that most people are using it to learn songs with very basic chord progressions. Which is not meant to be a judgmental statement - good for them! But this app completely fails with anything remotely more complex. I tried uploading some funk & jazz music with interesting chord progressions, and the result was hilariously (read: frustratingly) bad. The app was detecting chord changes where there were none; it ignored chords changes that were supposed to be there; and the chords it DID detect were just flat-out wrong. I’m upset I spent money on this. I trusted a paid app like this to provide at least a decent service, but it’s just useless. I’m going to find a way to get a refund. The developers need to put some serious efffort into making this thing actually functional. I’m not hopeful that they will.

Getting worse :(. I have used this app for years, and I love being able to play with virtually any song at a moments notice. When I first downloaded the app, I could play as many songs as I pleased. Lately, the number of songs per day was limited to three in what seemed to be an effort to get users to pay for a plan, which I can understand. After all, money has to be generated in order to function. However, I am now being forced to watch a lengthy add before I play a single song, AND I’m still limited to 3 per day. If I’m watching adds to play, why am I being limited still? I love the app as a resource for playing music, but the push to get users to purchase a plan is becoming a nuisance.

Good app but needs updates. I did a trial for this app and really used it for the week to see everything it offers. It’s great that the chords are in tune with the original song which you can play along to while video is playing. And you can print out song that includes chords and has chord names above. But what it’s really missing is the words to the song when you want to play along with print out or while following on app. That’s a biggie. Also while the chords are correct per se it doesn’t give you the more detailed chord such as sus, add, 9, Etc so again it’s the basic chord. Which is ok but if I want to learn how to Play the song I do want actual chords played by band. Also it expensive for the lack of these details and for an app like this. I get more on other apps for So much less $$$$. But lack of lyrics is huge!!!!

I am a vocal coach who specializes in learning disabilities and I love this. This is a fantastic teaching tool. I I am a vocal coach and voice specialist who specializes in all kinds of things including ) PTSD trauma learning disabilities... brain damage you name it. Most of the time even the transitions of the keys if you’re going to transpose are right. If you’re an experience musician I suggest tapping it out on the piano just to make sure because computers aren’t always correct. One thing I would love especially when it comes to people who have visual learning disabilities in my studio is if there would be a way to put the app into a dark version? This would really help my studio and I think lots of other people who struggle with associating things visually. A darker screen would go along way and I think I would even be able to get some of my clients to sign up for the paid version like I am. Just a thought! Other than that it’s pretty fantastic. Best Jen Vanella

Won’t let me look through most songs I want to see. Whenever I go on daily as a free account I get 3 songs I can look at and play BUT I only did 2 of 3 as of the day I’m writing this but it keeps telling me for certain songs that I already used up being able to view song but when I go into some of the songs I played it shows that I could play it other than that this is actually really good app nonetheless I just wise this tiny issue can be fixed or maybe I could be told what I am doing wrong

Amazing app, but.... Let me start off and say that I think this app is really well done. It does everything it says it will do, and it works great. I love the option that you can select guitar, ukulele, and piano. I just wish it also had violin! This would make this app even better. There are many songs that I would love to be able to play on the violin. Including one I have been trying to find any type of sheet music for months now. I still think this app is really amazing, if the creators could add an option to choose a violin It would make me so happy!! 😁

Suggestion. Can u please give more options on the overview of the chord on the video selection I would like real sheet music for those who are more comfortable with the symbols/ musical notes and still keep chords and numbers but make this a free option too. If u could also do a free 60 second video for alternative way to get your premium it would be great that way u have every one getting very tool and keep your paywall for other who already paided but I downloaded this app before I really loved it but I wanted to use the tool within the app without pay and the only alternative I could think of is a 60 sec ad video

The Best App ever created!!!. Being able to play guitar & piano through this incredible app Chordify has truly changed my life! You are my Pandora’s box to all songs, and I will be forever grateful for your creation! Thank you for being my lifeline to have the ability to play new and old songs without having a teacher. Chordify was my therapy before the pandemic, during & will be after. Most calming & enjoyable thing I can do with my spare time! I tell all those around me who play music about it, and will continue to do so! Thank you for making my life so much brighter! 🎼🎹🎸

Offline mode doesn't work. I love this app and have found it to be really helpful in learning to play the bass guitar. At the same time, I am really frustrated that offline mode doesn't work. Chordify won't play music files that reside on my iPad Air 2 unless I am online. I have provided screen prints and system logs to the developer. They tell me that the problem has only been reported on a very few devices. They don't seem to know the cause. I have offered to run whatever tracing/diagnostic tools they may wish to provide to better isolate the problem. But it just doesn't seem to be a priority to them. As a former software developer myself, I can't understand this attitude. If something is broken ... you figure out what the problem is and fix it. It's having pride in what you do.

Great app. Changed my life. Literally. Kept in there learning guitar, which I’m really grateful for. Thank you :)

Great. Great app/software to play along

It’s getting me started. I play the harmonica, but I’m trying to play the ukelele well enough as an accompaniment. I’m finding Chordify invaluabe, enabling new to choose not just the song, but the version of the song I want to learn, and listen while I follow along. So useful.

Brilliant. Love this app. 🥰

Amazing. The app is not perfect and some songs are incorrect but over all this app is amazing and a lot of fun

The Best. Excellent program to learn from none better

Fantastic Apps. Fantastic, never been happier before . Safe my pain.

Chordify. I looooovvveee Chordify thanku so much it’s awesome

Love it.. Thanks heaps:)

Incredible. I’m in love with this app

Crashed when you import. Trying to import a song that I don’t know what it is so was hoping to import from the voice recorder app. When you select ‘import’ then ‘from other media app’ the app crashes.... waste of payment.

Don’t get it. Maybe I’m being stupid but I just don’t get this app! I can’t make it work for a ukulele at all. I really can’t rate it because it doesn’t offer sufficient guidelines as to how I can use it!

loved it when it worked.... i used to love this app, was accurate and easy to follow but recently all the videos are unavailable and won’t play. this is extremely frustrating because it means the app is basically useless

Great site!!!!!. Thanks Guys!!!!!

Pretty good but needs a lot more work!. There is a lot of inaccuracies in most songs and i find it annoying that there is no interface to allow a user to edit the problems(a user should be able to make corrections if only for themselves) cant help but think they should beta a user edited (and reviewed) ‘free’ version at least until they hone their software to be more accurate...happy enough to pay as i think it is a great idea and has some real positives. Unless they do a serious update though i will not extend my subscription for a second year.

Hopeless fraud.. Can’t believe this has 5 star reviews. The app totally fails at picking anywhere near the correct chords. I’ll just continue to use my ears.

Enjoying this app!. My only go to app. Enjoying the variety of tracks available. Love it!!!!

Awesome app it is. I think this is the best piano app in the world when I mean best I mean the best of the best it's so good (I just need to get premium I don't have much money but it's still the best app 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😃😀😀 I love the app❤️❤️❤️ 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From Ⓜ️icah Thanks

Fantastic app. Learning a new song is SO EASY with this app! Love that it only takes a few minutes for it to “Chordify” a song from my playlist.

Life made easier. I can play any song I want on the guitar! I’m glad I found this app and I highly recommend it! Thanks Chordify!

Mrs R Lee. I find it so good, just starting to learn Uke, I am 81, thank u

Bad. The chords are wrong 90% of the time and the user interface is atrocious Use ultimate guitar instead

Time saver. Just that, when you play in 5 bands , you need to cut to the chase.

Great App, highly recommended. Fantastic App, highly recommended! Great practice tool!

Chordify is my favourite app. What a great App! Ive enjoyed hours of playing piano & singing , much better than watching TV!! Simple to use. It’s broadened my repertoire of songs enormous,y. I recommend it to all my friends Thank you Chordify! Michelle Ricciardello

Ripped off. Sadly got charged $50 automatic renewal (without notice). I’m a pensioner and it’s a lot of money for me. I only used chordify a few times... nearly a year ago. Be warned.

Woeful. Very inaccurate, most songs of come across have been completely wrong, some I’ve found to even be out of key completely, found this to be the worst app for chords I’ve come across

Really good but search function isn’t great. Amazing app however when searching for songs it’s pretty useless. You have to try atleast 8 combinations 60% of the tine until your song comes up and you have to be broad but very specific. Definitely needs working on there but still a good app.

GOOD FOR HARMONICA. Terrific for following favourite songs and tootling along on mouth organ

Begin here. If you want the easiest way to learn to play there is none you have to just practice. But if you want the best way to practice play along with Cordify it changed every thing I thought about playing guitar and more. Give ya ourself the best practice partner and use Chordify . Thanks for all your help Chordify not a beginner any more but still use you every day.

Disappointing. As a free app, it’s good to get an idea about how to play something, but there are so many errors, errors, errors in much of the music... how can they charge for a premium version, when so much of the content is inaccurate?

Brilliant simplicity. Awesome app for people learning to play an instrument. Plus you can learn you're favourite song.

Needs money. I hate that I can’t get this for free. I just want to learn guitar please people of chordify

Was great. I like this app, but I think limiting the synchronise feature to only two songs a day is a huge mistake. Limiting the synchronise feature behind a subscription, when it was free before, makes me want to use the app less.

Hi. I am enjoying Chordify and it is really helping me with my musical skills, but it is annoying because I don’t have a membership so I can only play a few songs before I have reached my daily songs. It is very annoying because I have been having lots of fun, and learning new things, then it locks me out. I think it would be good if you could have one or two more songs on your daily songs. Thank you Chordify

App is great when it works. Hi The app is great when it works , however for import song flow, I have getting URLSessionTaskFailed with error method failure. This needs to be fixed

I need to pay... Hia, this app is O.K, but you will need to pay for making the song your trying to practice on slow, and others. I don’t recommend this because y oh will need to pay. Please make it all free!

The best guitar app ever!!!. Thanks

Trev. I love this app, it changed my life

App needs work…. Update, it’s broken. Use to work, don’t bother with it at this point as most songs I try gives an error message and I can’t access them, even songs I use to play no longer work. As it stands it’s basically broken. Please fix!

Great app but think twice about buying a subscription; non-existent support. Great app; shame about the non-existent support. Have used the free app for years and finally decided to pull the pin and buy a subscription. An immediate issue with functionality - oh, the irony. But then logging a support message and…crickets, no acknowledgement, no response to emails or messages on their social media account. The issue resolved itself eventually but 2.5 weeks later and still no response to my messages. So I cancelled my subscription. Think twice about buying a subscription is my advice.

The best!. Amazing! The only thing is that I’m rather annoyed we only get so many songs. I love the fact that it’s got practically every song ever!

Absolutely life changing!. I absolutely love and am so impressed with this wonderful app. As long as the song is in yogi he you can learn to play it right along with the original. It shows you where to put your fingers, I’m so impressed! Occasionally a song won’t load up though, but mostly it’s pretty good!

Great app. I’ve only been using this a couple of days but already I’m impressed! Was hesitant to add yet another music app but so glad I did. Chords are pretty good and I love the ‘transpose’ and the ‘capo’ function. Acquiring new songs for my rep has never been easier. My only wish (and the reason I didn’t give it five stars) would be to pull the lyrics in on another tab so once you have mastered the chords/key you could sing along as well. Keep up the good work! Nightmoves

Silly.... All the fuss how good it is. And still have to sign up. No no. Deleting in the flash.

Timing. The small black box that shows tempo and where you are up to in the song seems to speed up and slow down randomly

Thanks. Easy to use for a Beginner

OMG. OMG I am so grateful for this app teaching me so many songs

Brilliant. So good for musos like me can’t find music books this has changed all my music thanks 🎸🎸🎹🎹👌👌

Helppppp. I used to use chordify a lot but had to re-download it because I loved countries and it wouldn’t work. Now it won’t let log in and I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it numerous times but no success- please help!!

Super j’aime beaucoup. Salut

Awesome. This app is brilliant for a beginner instead of just hearing yourself play this helps you feel like a real band member.

Love it.. A few puffs of Carmel animal face and Ichordify till my fingers bleed.

Inaccurate chords. This is a great idea, but the chords simply aren’t correct most of the time. The app shows all of the chords as open chords, even when they aren’t actually played like that in the song. Frustrating.

Wrong. Would say it’s good for beginners, but the chords are wrong or they don’t have all the chords for a song more often than not

Best app for songwriting. My Absolutely top app Had helped me be a better guitar & piano player & outstanding tool for chord memory training

Don’t download it.. Worst app. They stole money from me. I wanted to try the free « pro » version. I tried it for like 20 minutes then I cancelled it. But they still managed to make me pay and now I can’t download other app from the appstore if I don’t pay them. Seriously disgusting.

this app sucks. the way they show chords is incredibly unnecessary are confusing. the playing along feature is cool, but there should be an option to just see the chords along with the lyrics also. i don’t want to play along with the video. i just want to see the chords.

If only I’ve seen this sooner!. My boyfriend decided to buy me a baritone ukelele which actually sounds like a guitar. (Four strings are way better for me than 6 at my age and not-as-flexible fingers). Anyhow, I’ve used countless online versions of guitar tabs for songs and learning so many pop and rock (Yes, I know I’ve got a uke but don’t judge - sounds great still!). I found this app which had almost everything I’ve searched for but did have everything I have been playing. These chords are the truest ones! I’ve been playing some chords wrong (and I actually thought I was by hearing it). This app proved me right and caught me by pleasant surprise. I love how it plays the video/songs and highlights the chords real-time. I also love how I can go back to any part I need to try again (and again). Absolutely a must-have app and willing to subscribe for the offline version so I could use it at my trailer where I don’t have wifi and cellular signal isn’t reliable. Totally recommend this app! Perfect for the beginners!

excellent. Love this App !!

Trouble. I can’t get a lot of the songs I choose

Not impressed. I’ve used up a spot with a Neil Young song that never plays

This app is very good for my Chinese songs for chords.. Good app.

Only 3 free songs a day???. This app used to be great for beginners who cannot afford to purchase premium or see a real teacher in person. Now they changed it so you only get 3 free songs per day?? Complete rip off. Time to switch to another app. Uninstalling.

Great Jamming App. Chordify is a great music app to help you learn songs and music. I am not always sure if the chords are accurate, but I love playing them and they sound good. By the way, I play bass and I use guitar chords to learn the songs.

Pretty good!!. I wish it were cheaper and offered some ‘fingerstyle’ lessons

Générale. Souvent les accords sont trop simplifié ou à côté

Wrong chords, useless. Insulting for musical intelligence.

Love the App. Great app, some songs chords are missing or unwanted chords are added. Other then that amazing. I would like to be able to move the songs around in my set lists if I want them in a different order.

Chordify is Wonderful app. This app helps me practice and learn new song day by day. It’s the musician app that I have always looking for in order to progress in music performance. It’s the best app that I have ever used.

Chords are inaccurate. You can't even leave a review if the chords are inaccurate you have to subscribe and pay monthly just to tell "hey this is inaccurate" this app is garbage do not download it's a waste of time you have to pay

A great app to learn at your own pace!. This is a wonderful app to find all your favourite songs and play at your own pace.

Brittany loves lee mead. I love lee mead a whole lot

Il y a beaucoup trop d’erreurs.. Le titre dit tout

3 song per day max in freemium mode? Good bye.. I used this app multiple times every day and loved it. But once the 3 song max was imposed on the free version I looked for something else and I’m glad I did - I just wish I would have done it much, much sooner. Not only does Chord AI not have a limit to the number of songs you can use, but the interface and functionally is far superior. Do yourself a favour and switch over.

Scam. Literallly

Review. The best platform I’ve run across for learning songs! Easy to use and more accolades! Thanks Chordify!

MEILLEURE APPLI A VIE ♥️. J’ai appris à jouer de l guitare grâce à Chordify

Great for learning rhythm and strumming.. If you want to learn your chords and strum along it is great to build your muscle memory.

Not helpful enough. There should be an option to play also the music you have on your device, and not only from YouTube!

Great. Great app The best

Chordify App. Awesome for playing along

Excellent. The most useful tool you can have for playing virtually any song on YouTube

$57 charge ???. Don’t get me wrong good app for learning simple songs but for a 1 year membership it costs $12 good deal right first year was good only got charged the 12 dollars but my membership just ended and it automatically renewed it for $57 good app would never pay almost 60 dollars also the app is pretty bad on the phone a lot better on a computer

Not bad. Cool app to play along with songs you find on YouTube.. however, I purchased it for a year and I’m disappointed that there isn’t a lyric feature.. here I am writing the lyrics down on a sheet of paper while the lyrics should also be present on the screen.. I don’t see why not..

1 free song per day :\. The app used to be wonderful when you could play more than 1 song for free a day. Would only recommend getting this app if you cannot find a youtube tutorial on the song you want.

Signing in Caused no songs to load. Ever since I logged in with FB, it says there’s a network connection whenever I try to open a song.

Was a great app. Now most songs you search to play gets this oops error Very frustrating Oops An error occurred while loading the song. Please check your internet connection and retry. Come on software developers find the issue please

Fraud. This app doesn’t work. A total fraud.

Chordify is better than ANY other... I found this app and when I did I never looked back. When I can find Tygers of Pan Tang, Riot, along with classic Zeppelin, CKY, you finally know what to do with your promiscuous daughter. Only caveat it’s not always fun to have to start always back to the beginning of my history, favourites speared from history ..beauty. But please if I have to scroll back 26 songs to find Ace Frehley.. please, unless logged out or powered down ..leave us at the last place we were! Otherwise 4 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accord de charango. Le accords sont faux

Can’t express!. Beautiful application, almost 90% of the time correct. Thank you!

Oops no internet. I installed this app. Great idea. It keeps saying oops I have no internet connection. I do. This is incorrect. Would have love to have tried the app. 😞

Sucks to be free. Not free only lets you see tree song that’s it. I just want to check the cords for the song. Don't need to play along. Not fast enough.yet.

Chordify. This app just keep getting better! Does all I need it to do and more

Free. This Apps should be completely free.

Loving it. It could just be my phone or me scrolling back to certain spots that I'm having trouble with, because when I play it from the beginning, it sometimes brakes up a little. Otherwise I have yet to find a better way to learn songs.

Great app!!!!! Needs an option for lead guitar. Great app!!!!! I love that you can use real songs off YouTube, Apple Music or Deezer!!!Needs an option for lead guitar and show strumming patterns.

review. wonderful

Chords are incorrect. The chords just simply aren’t right. I can figure them out by ear but thought this app would be a help but it does work. Waste of time.

Just Beginning. For years I’ve struggled to play my favorite songs with very little knowledge of music, looking at sheet music was like trying to learn something foreign, but music is so universal how could it be foreign when it’s all written in the same language? The key was for someone to find the key to unlock this language to those who felt overwhelmed by eyeing a piece of sheet music. And Chordify has helped me overcome my fear of the unknown. Sometimes I’ll record my playing while singing and I’m just blown away at my progress in such a short time. Thank You for discovering how to help people like me unlock the door to playing music for the first time , like someone who took lessons from a traditional method.

What happened with you and VEVO?. Now I cannot play along with many of the videos I like because they happen to be on vevo? What changed from just a few days ago? Since they are on vevo you cannot play along with them.

Beginner and Thrilled. Has songs of such variety and love the badge winning, started with free mode, but for small yearly fee, couldn’t let go by the opportunity to jam any number of songs in a day and access to modify speed, simplify chords, and other resources available. Has improved my chord knowledge, getting better and understanding better tempo. Thank you Chordify Team!

Great App. I love this app and I use it often while learning rhythm guitar. One feature I would love to see added is the ability to add a countdown or timer before a song starts. If I had the ability to choose a set time 2 sec, 5 sec, etc and then pager myself ready before the start it would help a lot!

Does it make learning guitar too easy?. Best use I found was to have my guitar teacher record a backing track during my lesson, each week, and then import it into Chordify. Chordify identifies the chords and timing perfectly for practicing your lessons with your guitar teacher at home for free! Looping the track is great for uninterrupted practice sessions. Like training wheels for guitarists.

Slow loading. After many months of happy usage, songs load slowly if at all. The problem is restricted to the iPad app. Other apps and downloading works fine. So it’s really the app. My premium subscription expires at the end of the month and I will not be renewing.

Edits. The app is amazing. Better than RiffStation IMO. But there is one blaring problem: editing. You can edit in the desktop version, but not on the mobile. I can see why, it’s be kinda hard to do that, but edits you make on desktop on your account should transfer over into any device under your login. Technically, it might be useful for seeing how you’ve changed a chord set, but meh. There could be an “original” button to switch between for that. Aside from that, great app! 5 stars!

Latest Upgrade in 2023 is superb!. The Ap now includes one’s Set List. Arranging the List is even easier now. The responsiveness of the program is excellent. The few past “bugs” have cleared up well. The program runs well on all of my devices. Good value for the monthly premium costs. I have not found another program that is as versatile. I highly recommend Chordify.

Terrible App. This app always has missing and wrong chords. I’ve also find this out, Im on an iPhone 7 Plus fyi. If you search up a song, the top result will take about 5-8 minutes, all the others work just fine, I hate my experience on this app and before I figured out that little top result glitch I was almost pushed to snapping my phone in half, thanks Chordify, I now have a damaged phone from all the times I’ve thrown it with no case!

I love this app. This app is a life savor! If it weren’t for this app, I would be looking up songs for hours trying to find the right person, or the easiest way to play a song. With this app, all I have to do is type the song I want to learn, and it’s right there!!! Just about any song I want. Many thanks to the Chordify crew for making such an amazing app!

This is pretty awesome!!!. I can’t read music so I always looked up chords. And sometimes you can’t find certain songs. But I discovered Chordify and I can’t look up a song that they don’t have the chords for!! Its super easy to use if you’re like me and not super advanced in playing your particular instrument (for me it’s the piano). It even has an offline button for songs that you want to play when you don’t have WiFi or whatever. Guys!!! I love this app- I wish I had discovered it years ago!😍

Glows & Grows. I like the setup and it was rlly easy to use. The variety of songs is amazing. I wish that it had measure numbers so you could pick up where you were earlier. It would also be nice for the strumming pattern to be located at the beginning of the song (for guitar and ukulele). I would also appreciate the lyrics written with the chords so you could find the exact timing.

Nothing special, extremely basic chords. Was originally pretty excited about app and from reviews. However after downloading it— it isn’t good and is limited in the “chords” they do provide. The app provide extremely watered down versions of chords and misses other ones entirely that you can easily hear in the song. A song that may have original chords as C6 Gsus4 C9 Fmaj7 gets watered down to C-G-C-F. Which is I guess technically correct if you are just wanting to play the root of the chord but if you actually want to play the song you’re listening to, then I’d suggest using another app. Or even googling it. Definitely not worth a penny.

Very Good but.... I really like Chordify interface and functions. You can find chords for just about any song in various languages BUT there’s no way to sort or search your Favorites library - now how difficult can that be to design?! As a result you have to manually scroll through your entire library to find a song. I don’t see myself renewing membership without this feature.

Frustrated!. This app has more bugs than a Florida swamp at sundown. I just paid for the full yearly membership and found out that it just doesn’t work. Once you choose a song you have to completely quit the app and restart it to get back to any menu. You are supposed to be able to pull down, but that doesn't work. This is just a sample of the bugs found, too many to list here. Looks like I just wasted a yearly subscription amount. I suggest purchasing a couple of cases of beer and wait until these folks get their act (app) together and fix it!

Would be a 5 star. This app is great and has always allowed me to find pretty much any song's chords easily. I think that one addition that would make this app a 5 star would be to display roman numerals underneath their chords. Example, the song is in A major, so all of the chords are given their roman numeral identification, with modulations being marked as out of key.

Could be in an update. I think that their should be like a tab where you can actually see the words of every single song( I’m Christian) because every time that I’m practicing I want to see the lyrics and the chords to play along like that and the video that comes with it, though this should be available all, also this app has helped me a lot thanks you so much

I hâte the new update. I used to LOVE this app, but after this new update, it’s just like everything else out there wanting you to pay for it. this used to be my go to app, but it’s not anymore cuz i cant afford it. and i’ve checked with other friends, the premium isn’t even worth it. it doesn’t show you tabs and the metronome is off and it’s really frustrating. i hate it now

My Go to App. I picked up a guitar first and learned the main chords in 1990. I know. It dates me a little. Back then, it was all paper sheet music and handwritten notes while rewinding a cassette tape to learn songs. Fast forward some years. Now we have Chordify. It is, in my opinion, one of the best 3 apps for guitar available anywhere. Only this one does the oak for you that we use to do by long, slow trial and much error.

Really cool but needs some work. I love the idea behind this and overall I think Chordify does a great job delivering what it promises. However there’s one issue with the interface that I find truly annoying. I wish there was a way to just see all the chord diagrams without having to scroll through the song. It would be great to see them all laid out with how to play them and not have to hit pause every time I want to look at a different one. I’m not good enough to just know how to play those chords and Chordify’s current set up frustrating.

used to be a great app. I used to love this app so much. Using this app helped me learn to play some of my favorite songs on ukulele during some of the hardest times of my life. And after not using it for a few months, I’ve returned to find that we’re only given 3 free songs a day, which used to be unlimited. I can’t find anything about when this changed or why, but I’m very disappointed. Used to be an amazing app that helped me so much, but now I can barely afford food let alone a subscription for this. Pretty upset.

Why???. I at first loved it, I could slow my songs down and change keys and turn the sound off, and now it’s telling me I have to pay for it. Excuse me? I got the app for free so I could play for free, and now I can’t. This was such a huge inconvenience for me, and the app has gotten way slower, WAYYYY SLOWER. I have to wait about 10 minutes for the search bar to show up when I want to search up a song, then another 15 for it to actually pull any of the songs up. I do have to cut them some slack, they have almost every song available, but you just have to pay for it for you to actually learn it. Unless you can play really fast and learn some funky chords in a split second.

Hours of enjoyment. I picked up the ukulele about 3 months ago and now I can type a song in and get the notes to play just about any song. People think I’m a genius but the app is just that easy. I can now play 25-30 songs in the short 90 day period.

Can you add a couple features??. The first I would like is the simplify chords choice, like the website. It would help a lot for me, so I can practice with easier chords on my phone. Also, there is something wrong with the app where I try to play a song, and the audio isn’t available at all, and it doesn’t play. I put it on offline mode and it plays, but doesn’t play the audio. Please add and fix what I request, it’d help a lot!!😊😊

Premium member - a little longer. I’m updating my last review because I did figure out you can sort your favorite list by name. It appears you have to sort it on the website and it updates automatically to the app. It’s still a limited way to handle your favorites but better than nothing.

I use this app a lot. I play guitar and keyboard got this app not thinking about I how much I will use it wow it is great yes it does work it’s nice to have when you don’t know what the cords are in a song almost any song you can think of from classical to rock and worship you can’t go rong I use this app every day very happy

Different price in the App Store. I just saw that they had a holiday deal going on and, because I like my subscriptions all in one place, I download the app in order to subscribe through the app. The price that they are offering by signing in through their website (a way which I have no idea how easy it is to unsubscribe) is 75% off the yearly price. In the app, it’s only 50% off.I was considering signing up for the year, but I’ll just wait and sign up for a month or two when I need it, like I already do. Of course, if I never need it, well, good for me!

So Much Potential but Garbage App. One of the biggest pet peeve’s I have is the screen sensitivity. When I’m scrolling through a song it’ll instantly play even when I don’t want it to. It’s super annoying so I downloaded another app to help me with chords. There needs to be a locking system made in place so I can look through and study the song. Every time I touch the screen the song jumps when I don’t intend it to and I hate it. When I “favorite” something it disappears. Its absolutely frustrating.

Not a lot of instruments. In Chordify you can choose between only 3 instruments! I showed my mom who plays Alto Sax and my dad who plays bass guitar this app and they wished they could find an app like the one I found to learn guitar and piano. So, I looked and couldn’t find anything no where near as good as Chordify. So, all I ask is to add more instruments for people to play please. Other than that kink this app is a 4 star if they could fix that it would be a 5.

It was great until they limited free use of the app. No, you don’t need to have a freemium model to pay to improve the site. That’s just an excuse to try to squeeze as much profit as possible out of the people that use Chordify. Use of the app should be free. There is no good excuse for having and maintaining a product for years and then suddenly saying that you “have to” limit every user to 3 songs a day. Clear money grab that will only limit the ability of people to learn to play music. I hope the team reconsiders this move.

The best app I've ever bought. You will not regret getting a subscription to this app. I can't play by ear but there are so many songs I want to play and can't find chords for online. Now I can play anything, change the key to suit me better and already written out for me? How could it be any better? Thank you Chordify you have no idea how much I appreciate your app. I'll gladly pay premium!

Useful tool. Not like the old days when I was the classically trained band member who had to transcribe the music for the rest of the band .Chordify allows me to choose a song usually in the key I need and concentrate on the arrangement as opposed To “is this really the right chord” Not perfect but pretty much the best thing I’ve come across!

Blocked songs?. I love this app and use it every single day. I tried the free two week upgrade and loved it even more. Lately songs that I've downloaded and have been able to play along with have come up as being blocked from the app. It has kept me from wanting to spend money to upgrade. I will continue to use the app to practice with and maybe someday I'll change my mind and upgrade in the future.

My go to piano tool. I have looked up and learned about 20 songs so far… They are not always perfect, but they reliably get the gist of the chords, which is the most important bit IMO. The player is a bit glitchy, but honestly the content is so helpful that I’ll happily deal with it.

I’ve really liked this app for years. It’s not perfect but it gives me just what I need to pick out the songs I love. I really like how I can give it anything and it can pick out the cords. I’ve uploaded songs to YT just so I can let the app read them and tell me the cords. It’s great.

Awesome but…. I love codify. However, I think they miss some of the chords. And although, I do enjoy it thoroughly, there is definitely more to the songs than they put into the song. I understand if they make it easier for the novices to be able to join in but at a certain point you want more and it’s just not there, which is a little disappointing.

Not helpful. Everything requires a subscription.. Has many many songs but isn’t descriptive, as you can’t access the capo feature without an account. Not to mention the fact that you can’t preview too many songs or else you can’t play one that same day if you don’t have a subscription. I don’t recommend a smidge. Only if you’re learning songs from an obscure artist. Just search up the chords at this point because if I can find chords to “Florida” by Madilyn Mei, you can find chords to stuff too.

Not for beginners. It’s hard to understand what notes to play at a certain time, especially for a beginner. There isn’t really a guide other than the notes shown, this app. Not everyone is willing to spend money to get to play more than three songs as well, I hope this part changes. I would also like something saying if this was for beginners or not when getting the app, since I was deceived into thinking this app was for beginners.

Chordify app. This is a very good app to learn the rhythm and strumming patterns of almost any songs I’ve looked up... I do wish there was a separate section to teach the “lick” to the intro’s and the solos... but overall this app gets you in the right area to figure those things out... this app has definitely strengthened my rhythm playing, especially while playing by myself... overall great app I highly recommend...

Less features on app than web. Logging into the website provides more features than the iOS app. You cannot create custom set lists on the app while you can in the web. Every time you finish a song and go back to your favorites, you have to scroll forever to the bottom of the list if you have lots of favorites. It does not keep your place. Don’t bother with the app unless they fix these issues.

What is UP with the search function?!?!. While the chords this app provides are absolutely phenomenal, the search function needs a ton of work. I can’t search by some band names but can by others—for example, Imagine Dragons and Weezer go through but Needtobreathe and Switchfoot don’t. Sometimes I can’t even find a song by searching with the full title—“Beverly” will bring up Beverly Hills but “Beverly Hills” gives you nothing. Please fix this—it’s infuriating.

One of my essentials. Love this app. I’m a singer/artist and this is the only music app I currently use. It gives me all my favorite chords, and has been a great outlet for me to consistently train my mind to remember certain chords. I never write reviews but I really appreciate what this app does for me. I’m able to cover any song I want, and it also lets me jam while the song plays 💛

Poorly executed. I see a lot of people complaining about the paywall, which is a bit annoying, but what I don’t like is the way it makes you view the chords. I don’t want to have to follow along with the song playing, I just want to see what the chords are and where they are in relation to the words. The format of Ultimate Guitar Tabs is better, and I recommend using that instead. Chordify does have some of the lesser known songs, and I would be fine with it if I could see all the chords and the words to the song together as opposed to just seeing the chords a few bars at a time.

It’s a great concept....but. when the song is in diagram mode it only shows two chords at a time. Why can’t they show all the chords in diagram form so that I can practice all of the chord shapes before I try to play the song. Not a good set up for new players who may not know all the chord shapes going in. This one flaw makes a great app frustrating to deal with. I signed up for premium but I’m not paying for a second month.

It's ok just for fun. I really loved Chordify when I first started learning the ukulele. I wasn't worried about how it sounded too much, I was just excited to finally play all my favorite songs. If you're looking for something more serious and accurate, you should probably look into another option. Chordify doesn't usually give you the most correct chords, but it's great if you're just learning. I do also wish that more of the features were included for free.

Basic chord. Chordify provides basic chords to songs fairly accurately. I do miss the slash chords, and have yet to see even one slash chording any song...even with Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, and Elton John songs that contain slash chords with every measure. Lyrics are lacking and would be nice to see as well...I don’t see where we can access lyrics. Always room for improvement I guess.

Great service with developers listening to what users want. AI can’t be perfect but this is still really impressive. This is an amazing aid when figuring out a niche song and is also a lot of fun to just rock out on if you’re bored. Developers respond to issues and complaints with haste too.

Lot of potential, bad interface. Just stick with the website. The iPad app is missing basic icons to help you get around. If you touch the upper left corner from the tab screen, you’ll be able to return to the search screen. But there is no icon to indicate the place to touch. I just poked around to find it. The “like” button is too well hidden or missing, so there’s no way to save songs you like in your favorites. Some of the chords are miss named. (Such as a F chord being shown as a B chord.). You would think basic issues like this would be fixed by now.

Keep this in mind!!!! Please!!!!. Know that most reviews on basically every app are fake. They are created by either an in-house or hired team to constantly create positive reviews for apps. This is why by default the sorting order is set to “most helpful”. There isn’t a way to filter out these fake reviews but what you can do is click on “see all” reviews then sort them by “most recent”. This will give you the best chance to see actual reviews by users like yourself. Look for very long comments. Another thing you can do to know your reading a real review is to never read 5 or 4 star reviews. PLEASE PASS IT ON!!!! Knowledge is power!!!
