Judgmental and ban-happy jerks. I think the people who frequently post and moderate on this forum are emotionally wounded and try to heal themselves by mastering a situation that hurt them and they do this by berating posters who they perceive as either not being as strong as the supposedly healed berater or as being someone who represents the person who hurt the berater in the past. So I wanted to get some support on how to breakup with my girlfriend because I felt guilty. First responder insulted me. Another person asked a question. I tried to log back in to answer and found this message — You have been banned for the following reason: trolling. Date the ban will be lifted: Never The moderators obviously get some pleasure from this little power trip. You can sense it from the way they worded the ban notice.

Complete garbage. Would give no star if possible. I made an account and made ONE post about something in my life and was banned an hour later. So I thought it was weird, what I posted wasn't bad, I thought maybe a glitch so I made another account and posted again and the people on there just tore me apart verbally then I was banned again. Totally not worth your time, people on here are mean and you get banned for nothing.

I only feel less alone from reading the reviews. The name of this site is so inaccurate it's insulting. You can't come here if you just want someone to listen. Long-time users will line up to judge you, highlighting your failings and criticizing you one after another. Rarely do they offer actual encouragement or support, and even their advice is clinical in its delivery. Everything is a one-size-fits-all solution, and they jump down your throat the moment you disagree. I believe genuine help requires compassion, taking into account the other person's perspective and limitations. These people are blind to both. The only thing they're out to help is their own egos, proving their supposed wisdom and superiority. (How arrogant do you have to be to name yourself "Wiseman" on a forum like this?) Go to this site and you'll leave feeling more alone than when you came.

Beware of this site. Same deal, they won’t delete posts no matter what you do. We are still trying to get them to delete something for us. We will keep battling, but they keep banning us instead of taking 2 seconds to delete the post. It’s like they develop personal vendettas against you and try their hardest not to be helpful.

Not worth the 5 seconds it takes to download. Read the terrible reviews and stay away. The people are mean, posts will get banned - this is in NO WAY doing its job as a platform and community for supporting and uplifting others. Not to mention the interface is designed horribly.

Heartless Administration. I am an old Loveshack.org member, and was looking for a new community since it shut down. Found eNotAlone and was so happy to find a potential new community, so I created an account. A message popped up saying I was banned for having multiple accounts. This seemed weird to me, since I had never seen the site before, so I tried again. Again, banned. Finally I tried with my old Hotmail email address and found that I had an old account from 2007 where I had made 2 posts. Being that this was 11 years ago, I had totally forgotten about this account, which they also banned for being associated with the IP that made the new accounts. I contacted admin, fully expecting a compassionate adult conversation about the misunderstanding (this is a support site, right?), and instead got the most NASTY email replies telling me I'm forever banned, that I'm not reading what he's saying, etc etc. He didn't even listen to me or offer any sympathy. Heartless Admin. I'm just looking for a support community, and I think I made that very clear. Shame on you eNotAlone. You have made me feel more alone than ever.

Bullies. Please think very carefully before downloading this app and creating an account. If you post on an forum, it’s PERMANENT. They will never delete it. Also, the moderators are bullies. I was seeing an advice years ago about dating and I was trashed and called names. When I contacted one of the moderators Hollyj to let them know about the bullying, she bashed me. Horrible forum!

TERRIBLE. Do not download and make an account with this app. The people who run this app are horrible, and they say horrible things about you and your problems.

Complete cyber bullying app (total garbage) Don't use!!!. So the purpose of this app is to vent and my express your feelings. Well on here it's not happening as majority of the people are very judgmental! I got banned for life for accidentally posting something personal on there with all of my important and personal information on there & it's no way to delete it. I used my other account to start over and got accused by some on there for spamming and trolling? Like no one cared that my personal business was all on their as all they did was report me and then instantly with out even informing me that I was banned for life as if I would really give this app a good review when they are banning people for stupid reasons!! Do not get this as you can be venting and the next second get banned!! Go to other better apps than this one!!

So helpful!. I've gotten so much help from this app. The only thing that kind of bugs me is the fact that it shows that I have a notification all the time even when I don't.

So far has helped a lot. Idk why it has bad reviews I like it a lot. I’ve had it for a week and made 2 posts so far. I like hearing opinions of others when it comes to my relationship. This app allows me to do it without telling all my family/ friends about my problems.

Absolutely terrible app. I was excited to finally get some kind of support and to support others as well, but was "banned for life" for having more than one account, because I couldn't log into my original account. To add insult to injury, the majority of people on there, including many of their "premium members" were incredibly rude and intentionally used it for nothing more than a platform on which to cyber bully. I was appalled at how rude people were to those seeking advice.
