Missing Sphere Shape Cakes. I love this app. The only thing that is missing is “sphere shaped cakes”. Adding this feature would be amazing to Bakers that work with all shaped cakes. Sphere cake are great when making 3D sport ball shapes, round shape fruits or vegetables and even fancy sphere shape for weddings, sweet sixteen, baby showers, etc. Hopefully this feature will be added very soon 🙏🏽🎂🙏🏽🎂🙏🏽🎂🙏🏽🎂

Disappointed. I loved the tier cake app now this is just a waste of memory on my device. You could have at least kept the basics shapes for free and charged a reasonable fee for the app with the bells and whistles but a monthly fee is crazy. You will definitely lose more customers than gain. I wish there was a zero ⭐️ option.

Very disappointing!!. SO DISAPPOINTED that this is the new version of TieredCaker (same logo) that I purchased for my business and can no longer use or even open. Rather than updating what people paid $20+ for, they now have a “new app” that you have to pay $.99/day or $35.99/year to add round (necessity), hex, petal and oval. Only offers square for free.

Did not receive my subscription. I had been using the app for over a year, and it was time to renew. When I tried to renew for 39.99, the system did not provide me my update. It was like a glitch occurred, and it kept going back to upgrade. I emailed support, and I got nothing. I think the developer has abandoned this app.

Good program!. This is a good program to use.

Tiered cake original. I had the original version. I bought it. Used it and loved it. Then, one day it stopped working. Didn’t even get a heads up. I am in need of a trustworthy app. I understand everyone needs to make money but, for a single person operation, every penny counts. To have to pat a yearly membership that hefty, hurts. It is unfair that after I bought the app, I have todo it again

Horrible customer service. I recently purchased the yearly upgrade of this app at the end of October this year. It was fine until a couple of weeks ago when it only allowed me to use basic mode. I contacted Apple customer support who told me to get in contact with developer. I have not heard back at all. Hopefully others have had better luck with getting help.

Rip offs. I paid $20 for this app and now they are charging a daily/monthly/yearly fee after I already bought it! This shouldn’t be legal. Your stealing people’s money. Rip offs!!

Paid for & never received upgrade.. I have used this app for 2 years even after they changed it without notice. It expired in November and I paid for the 1yr. renewal in December but it has not upgraded. I have contacted support twice with no response. What a disappointment and a RIPOFF.

Useless to original users. I originally purchased this app for around $10 and used it often. One random day the software would not work with a new iOS update, and it forced you to pay an exorbitant amount for a “subscription” to access the same content you previously paid for. While day passes are available, it’s frustrating that to be charged more for the same previously bought information- especially without warning those who already paid.

Irritated and Disappointed. I understand having to charge a fee to continue to develop the app, but a daily or monthly fee? And $35? I don’t pay that much for my monthly Pro cake training/subscription services . Very disappointed. I really loved Tiered Caker, but I will just have to adjust to using another app that charges a one time fee. ***Edit: Thanks for clarifying... I now understand it’s a yearly payment and not monthly. ...still a bit pricey compared to other apps with a one-time fee. ... will have to weigh the benefits of the additional AR & new stacking tools.

Please Read but No hate to Creator. I’m sorry to say but I did not understand this game... It’s very confusing and it’s hard to even create a ROUND cake... I was disappointed... I’ve been trying to find a good baking game, I got excited about this one and did not read the Reviews... I should Have... Overall It was just a bad game... No hate to Creator/Creators... Exactly What I Was Looking For. Not super user friendly, but it has the features I was looking for. Tried it out with the 1 day subscription (nice option, btw). I’m considering the full year now that I had a chance to check out all the features. My main concern is app support since nothing has been updated in 4 years. Calculates price, serving guides, suggested tier combinations, cake visualizations! Fantastic!

Renewed but was not able to access additional content. I have loved using this app...but my subscription expired. Upon renewing this subscription I expected to have access to all of the content I had used previously (actually while renewing, the app said I’d have exactly that!) but I still do not have access to the content I have already paid for! I have sent two emails through Apple in an attempt to avoid writing here....no reply! Please upgrade my app- I don’t want to take it further with Apple.

price is too high for this one. Loved the old app and don’t mind paying for this one, but the price is way too high. I’ll just go old school with excel or find another app that’s cheaper. I will never pay a yearly fee for this sort of app, especially not $35! I only pay 99¢ a month for Microsoft office! I own a retail bakery.

Thanks but NO thanks. $36 PER YEAR?!?!???? Are you out of your mind?!? I used to love this app when it was TieredCaker. I have a new device and was forced to download the New app and you want me to pay $36 a year. That’s insane!! I already paid for this app once and actually would pay for it again but only ONCE. There is NO WAY I’m going to pay a YEARLY fee!!! I’ll find another app, thanks but no thanks.

Paid for the original. Paid over $20 for the original version and then it stopped working without warning. I’m a home baker and can’t afford $35 a year for this...could barely afford he original price but thought it was worth it. Now you have my money and I don’t have the app I PAID FOR!!

Disappointed. It was my go to app, until suddenly, I only had access to stacking square cakes. No warning, my previous cakes, still there, but can’t see them. This was a low blow, to folks that had already been using it for a while. I guess they figured out that they can get more money, since almost no one buys square cakes. Nice job, guys, definitely won’t be purchasing the upgrade.

Took my money. I just purchased the $15.99 for 1 year and excited cuz it shows me the round cakes which I do a lot.. but unfortunately when I exit to answer a text and came back my purchase is not there and they want me to purchase another year for the round cakes that I already did.. not cool.. don’t if I can get my money.. so frustrating

Love it, but.... I used the old app and loved it. I used it all the time with my cake business. I always thought it was a great bargain and was surprised that it was so inexpensive. I’ve done the one-day access of the new version and definitely like the new stuff and definitely think it is worth $35. I do, however, have a problem with the fact that my old version suddenly stopped working and I didn’t realize that it had until I was in front of a client. And the price jump, now an annual fee, was quite a jump at one time. I’ve cut back on my orders and have to decide if I think it is worth it for the occasional cakes I now do.

Poor design and crashes. The UI is poor, and after the initial installation it crashes every subsequent launch.

Unfortunate change and cost. I understand that you had to make updates and charge but Wow! A monthly fee? I used tiered caker for almost every order so I know it’s value, but can you tell me the difference between the basic and pro?

Upgrades don’t last. The app is good, however I bought the $35 upgrade. It was great for a couple days and then the upgrade features disappeared and there’s no way to contact anyone to say hey, I paid for a year upgrade that only lasted a couple days.

Don’t upgrade. I use the app for a year and love it, after I paid to renew I was no able to use, it keep asking for upgrade, contact Apple they said payment went through to contact developer directly, no able to contact developer of fix the problem.

Cake. I absolutely loved the original app. It was amazing and so very easy to use, although this one is ok, I much prefer the way the old one operated. I don’t want to discourage the app maker as I am hoping that he reviews all the reviews and finds a way of merging and fixing people’s concerns. I have to problem paying for awesome apps that can help get the work done.

Calculated Cakes. Absolutely HATE it! Not user friendly and the fact that you have to pay for different shapes for cakes is frustrating! I used TieredCaker for a few years and loved it, was easy to use, I had no problems navigating the app and it made life much easier because it was quick and efficient. This new revision is awful! I would not mind paying for it, if it was the old TieredCaker app, that was updated in a user friendly manner. I’m even more angry that I can’t even use the old version that I had, because the creators have not updated to IOS 11 for the old app! This really is disappointing and I would not recommend it!

Super Irritated. I have been using TieredCaker for several years. It was super easy to use and FREE. Now, with this “upgraded” version you now have to pay for the same information you used to have for free. I don’t understand why this is happening, and if I could go UN-update my phone, I absolutely would as the original TieredCaker doesn’t work on the new iOS. Just a joke that now they want me to pay, and not only that but it’s not a 1 time fee.

Not impressed at all!!!. Considering I originally bought the tiered caker app and it’s now name changed to calculated cakes and they want me to ‘upgrade’ and pay $25 a year so I can use other cake tins other than square which they so begrudgingly have ‘offered’ us to use, If I could demand my money back I would.. but we know that’s not going to happen. Talk about a con!!!

Pointless app. This app is so pointless. Literally. Useless as far as cake design with such rudimentary options and the calculator is drastically flawed if you know anything about portioning.
