Earny is Always at a Work for Me!. Earny keeps on working all the time! I think I am a fairly savvy shopper - I’m always looking for a good deal. I find that I just don’t have enough time or patience anymore to watch and wait for lower prices on line. And then along came a Earny! I saw it endorsed over a year ago on Good Morning America- I am very glad I was paying attention. I downloaded the app and attached my credit cards and Earny does all the work behind the scenes after the fact. I have received MANY cash back checks from my credit card company for price protection rebates! And they keep on coming as I am making more on line purchases I wish it would accept some more credit cards but I am thrilled with what I am getting!

Dishonest and Dysfunctional App. Don’t get this app. Several weeks ago I downloaded the app and was charged a full subscription price of $20. Since then, I’ve received no benefit - in fact, it’s been a huge headache and a customer service NIGHTMARE. I used their Uber Eats promotion to order food. The promotion promised 5.3% cash back. It’s now been a month since that transaction and I’ve been following up with customer service almost daily to find out why I haven’t received the cash back. They continue to say that they are looking into it. I’ve asked for a refund of my subscription because they are NOT following through on their promised services and they’ve denied it. They’ve done absolutely nothing to hold up their end of the bargain and now I’ve lost $20 in the subscription fee, plus any cash back k could have gotten from SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER APPS like Dosh and Rakuten. Trust me on this, both of those apps are better. Do not download Earny!

Do nothing and get something in return. I was a little hesitant at first because you have to allow this app a lot of access into your personal life (the ability to read your emails and write/send them on your behalf in order to get the refunds), but money does come back. Almost 3 months ago I purchased baby formula online and now that it’s on sale, I got almost $15 credited back to my account. What did I have to do for this money back, you might ask? Absolutely nothing. Sign up and Earny does everything for you. Biggest return I have ever gotten without lifting a finger.

Good and Bad. So I like the concept but having used Earny, I find myself dealing with more trouble than it's worth. They requested a price match on something I intended to return. When I ended up returning it, none of my sales tax was refunded. It was $37 in sales tax. It's been 3 weeks, I'm still trying to get my sales tax back. The company told me this is the result of the price match that "I" made. The second item they asked for a price match for shouldn't even have been approved because I bought a 3 pack and they requested a price different based on a 1 pack. It's these little things that I just don't know whether I should stay. I like that they do it for you, but my two experiences have been a headache, one after another.

So far so good. Really haven’t given this app its all, meaning I haven’t added credit card or anything else put downloading and signing on, I understand a app or business needs to make money but the more I look into this the amount they charge so far has stopped me from going all in, I appreciate the .67 cent savings, but I wrote this to save .16 and more of the point, had this app just there for about 6 months, I will look into it more and see how much it will benefit me. As of now I have been using another app that doesn’t cost or charge anything, seeing the difference between the two, sometimes paying for a service is better. When it’s .10 and .25, who knows, I will rate again when I give this app more of a chance by going with everything it has to offer just really hesitant when you have to use credit cards. That is way to much of me monitor so I am not getting ripped off for .67 in savings or the average $280 a year, guess I need more trust. Other than that thank you for the savings and I will look more into it.

Money back and I didn’t do a thing! 🙌🏻. It took me months from hearing about Earny to actually downloading the app... I don’t know why I waited! Within 2 weeks, I’ve earned back $9, and I didn’t do a thing! Another neat feature that I liked, one of my earnings came from Target but I guess you as the buyer have to chat with Target before being issued your price adjustment refund. Well Earny notified me about a $2 Target savings via email, told me I had to chat online to get refund, and they had already written out a full script for me to copy and paste. I did that and no other questions were asked, Target chat just said Ok and issued me the $2 back. I was impressed. Highly recommend this app!

Do Not Purchase Subscription. We purchased the subscription for the app and were going to try it out for 30 days and if we don’t like it we get our money back. We were not getting our money back as advertised by their multiple emails. When we went to end our subscription, they were unable to because they sent us emails regarding potential refunds. Also to note, multiple credit cards are ending their price protection program. Only way for us to continue using Earny is getting another credit card. Funny thing is, Earny is still encouraging our card as one of their top cards to be used. I can see how it was beneficial in the past, but credit card companies are getting smart and this app will soon be no service to anyone.

Wow!!!!. This is the greatest app! Set up your account then wait for refunds on purchases you would normally make. Lowest price guarantees are terrific, but who has all the time to check sales prices, hopefully find a lower price, pull out your receipts, and mail the info to the vendor. Earnie does all the work based on the payment methods you assign to It. Every few days I get a message saying the Earnie has found me money! From January 2, 2018 through March 5, 2018, Earnie has found me $40! Don’t wait another minute. Install Earnie and let it do the work while you get the benefits!

Was waiting for it—is beginning to pay off. This app, up to this point, had been a little sketchy. It requires full use of your email account, and although this information is encrypted, it is still a risk to allow this. I was giving myself a window of time to see if this app would return any value to me, and I can say today that I received $2 back on a recent purchase that I would not have had otherwise. While this is small, it’s proof that the app works, and it works even when it’s not open. I will continue to keep this and allow it to search, and if this is an indication, I should see more benefits coming my way.

Alright okay.. The app tracks your purchases based on certain store receipt. We frequently purchase from Target (one of the stores they track). Twice now, Earny has sent us an email saying they discovered a lower price for one item with steps on how to get the money back. The first time I followed the directions the very helpful Target CSR found more savings and credited me more the Earny had actually found. The second time around, Earny said one item had a lower price. I followed the directions again. The Target CSR credited that one item price difference. After I jumped off the chat with Target, I noticed there were 3 more items that needed a price adjustment. Both times Earny has only notified us of one item yet there’s been several. So a word of advise, before you contact the stores, double check there’s not more cash back options. On top of that Earny claimed they had got me a larger amount back...when in fact they only found .98 back not $6.00..that was the Target CSR. However, Earny will take back a percentage back of the total amount... Also, both times Earny has attached a copy of the purchase receipt and price difference just in case the store requests it...yet it has never been able to open while using on my phone. I think the concept is awesome but needs to be buffed for flaws.

Awesome app!. I have only been using Earny for a few weeks and have received more than $15 in refunds. The process is seamless - you will receive a notification on your device and an email that a refund has been requested. No action on by the user once the credit card has been registered....update After three months the refunds keep coming in with about $100 in aggregate. I have had one instance when I need to provide a credit card statement to the company that processes the refunds for Chase. That was easy - two minutes to upload it to a website. Earny's fees are reasonable. I will continue using the app....keeps generating refunds

Finally got a refund!. I've been trying to use this app for about 6 months. I would always receive alerts that prices dropped and they were working on recovering differences but I've NEVER received a refund until now. And this was not automatic. Instead I received an email from Earny notifying me to contact target directly to get a refund. I did that through The conveniently provided link to chat and it paid off. This app could be great but for me it's more disappointing then anything. It flags you down and makes you aware of money it never recover like it advertises to do. I appreciate the $5 though. Wrote the review so they could waive their service now🙄. Work out the kinks and it'll be worth the memory space on my phone. Thanks

Found refunds. Very skeptical at first, to the point that for over 6 months I had viewed Earny’s ads and not bothering to give it a try. Finally, after reading it again more thoroughly, I decided to give it a try since I can always opt-out if I don’t believe it will do as advertised. Well, lol and behold, about a month after registering I got an email stating that $6.00 is going to be refunded due to a drop in price. Then another 2 weeks passed and I was notified that $8.00 was in the process of being refunded to me. Well, I got both refunds and I look forward to more. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great App!. I’ve been using this app for a while now and it has been great. I love that you don’t have to worry about anything. I love to shop. Most of my purchases are online just because it’s more convenient than getting in your car, finding parking and waiting in line. My purchases automatically get listed on the app. I don’t need to do any price matching because Earny takes care of it for me. I’ll receive a credit on my debit or credit card or get a gift card in the mail and not know why and remember that Earny has done it again and gotten me back some money. Love this app!! Keep up the great work!

I didn't have much hope.... If you don't frequently make purchases with a major credit card (like me, I mostly debit), you may not see much action. It's true, at that point Earny is just scanning your emails. BUT I do make quite a few online purchases so when Earny finds a dropped price, it's such a fun surprise! I just got $20 from something I bought from Walmart a month ago. It's free to connect so what's the harm in letting Earny try? Also, it made me a little nervous when they emailed the retailer on my behalf (I didn’t understand that at first) but I honestly did not have to do anything.

Earny does all the work and I do nothing!. I use a lot of sites, apps, and coupons to save money. Some are great and some aren’t worth the effort. This little guy, though, is AWESOME. After the initial setup, it started scanning and tracking my purchases, looking for dropped prices. Without my doing anything, it’s already found two purchases through Walmart and refunded me about $3 back to my credit card. No meeting a minimum amount, having to complete offers, or only being paid through gift cards. It’s simply refunding to my credit card. NICE!

Total BS and a Scam!. Over promises and under deliver!!! I make tons of purchases and have never received a penny from this app. The one time I was to get a $10 cash back for a purchase, I spent about 20-30 minutes with a rep to get the cash back, but never received the money. For months it was “being processed.” A few weeks ago I got an email saying I needed to re-link my card. Now I’m getting emails notifying me that I need to log in or else my account will be closed. I logged in, but continue to receive the same notifications. Also, now when I log in, I can’t see my transactions, not even old ones. Still haven’t received my $10 that I was suppose to receive and it has been about 9 months! Definitely, don’t give this app/company your private info. I’d love to post pictures of the crap that reflects on my app.

Beware! Make sure you are the only email logged in on your device. I never signed up for this app. I return a lot of what I buy online—-I order multiple sizes, styles online and decide what to keep after they arrive. This app charges 25% for a finders fee. My son joined up, apparently myself and 4 others had used our email on his phone over the years and had not logged out. Earny signed up all of us, without checking with any of us. I found out when I got got a ‘refund’ of $13, they send an email to businesses saying they are you—now my son who had the app will get a bill for $25% of $13. I called the business that earned got the credit from and had them reverse the credit. Creepy, in this case as they sent an email saying they were me without my knowledge. Only great if you never return anything! Because if they ‘find’ a lower price and then you return the item you will lose 25% of what they ‘saved’ you for their fee!

A great friend. If your card does not have price protection nor do the vendors the developers list, you won’t really be able to benefit from Earny. However, it is quite an indulgence otherwise. For several reasons, Earny is a great friend to me. One, he’s a subtle reminder of the great benefits I was previously oblivious to. Second, he is constantly working and trying to help you reap such benefits. Third, he receives a minor fee for an inconvenience, which is well deserved in my opinion. The only catch for me was the 10 dollar limit of cashing in of referrals. Of course, something of a minor inconvenience. Anyhow, what a lovely idea. Well deserved success and I wish you more in your future endeavors.

Awesome app. This app is truly great! While I’m not saving hundreds of dollars or anything it does help to get back some of the money that i have overpaid on purchases just for having it. I don’t have to keep track of prices in order to get the discount. My only complaint would be that some credit card companies are tougher than others to get your refund and it can take a long time. Today’s refund is from 6 months ago, this is due to the credit card company, not the app. I’m thankful either way. So far I’ve gotten back around $50/year.

Sketchy app- beware. I’ve had nothing but problems with Earny. I wrote them three times because they kept telling me card wasn’t linked, even though I had it linked it multiple times. I never got a solid response until I complained that the $50+ worth of rebates that said “claiming” in app were never claimed. Come to find out after reaching out again they couldn’t login to my card account. Why wasn’t I told this one of the THREE times I previously reached out? Ridiculous, and they did nothing to make up for the money I missed out on. Not only that, but I physically went into a target store myself and got a price rewind because a hair dryer I bought the previous week went on sale for $18 less. Target refunded me the difference, and then low and behold I got an email from Earny saying THEY got me $18 back and I’d be charged. LOL really? All because my card was linked and they saw I got a refund? Was Earny in the store with me? No. Did Earny do ANYTHING for me? No. But by all means, please charge me for doing nothing. That’s fraud, Earny. Nice try tho.

Increases buyer's confidence!. Aside from acting like a personal assistant whose sole responsibility is to track all your purchases to ensure you're not overpaying, Earny has provided intangible benefits not measured by whatever monetary value the app is able to produce. Mainly, an increase in buyer confidence and time-savings. I no longer have to spend time comparing one website against another because I know Earny has my back through an automatic, seamless process. It's a fantastic app that has provided me both personal and monetary value. I love it! This is exactly what every app in the financial space should do. Kudos Team Earny!

Absolutely brilliant. This is a fantastic service. Does everything for you, and gets the money directly into your account (in my case to my credit card). My only complaint is that it has a limited number of banks and credit card providers that it works with (for the most only MasterCard credit cards), I do wish they would expand their list; it would be preferable to have all of my cards on just one app, and in one place. But this is completely utterly worth the 10 minutes or so that it’ll take to set up.

Not Worth the HASSLE. Hi, I used Earny for about 5 months. First of all they DO NOT cover TARGET purchases like they say they do. It took me 3 or 4 email correspondences of them not answering my question as to why I didn’t see a purchase from target in my feed for them to tell me they lost their account with target. Second, they cover only a handful of credit cards protection plans so unless you have that specific card you don’t get refunds from that. Opening one of those cards just to get earny refunds is a ridiculous idea-don’t do that! And 3rd, I have had 2 purchases that I watched drop in price, but earny never sent a claim. I assumed they were waiting for right before the protection expired to ensure they got the biggest refund but NOPE! They let it expired never claimed anything. I didn’t waist my time with customer support this time around I just cancelled my account. BOOO 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

App saves you money but.... App is great. Does what it says and does save you money. Down side is that you constantly have to automate your card refund process. I have had to do this numerous times and most of the time it errors or fails to link. That is a huge detractor and why I would only go 3 stars. They need to fix this so that your card stays linked and automated or at least make the process fail less. I have been trying for 2 days to reautomate a card that saved me $ 3 days ago. I have contacted customer service and was told we have fixed the issue. That is not actually true.... I am no longer getting the error but it is still not linking the card.

So far so good but misses refunds sometimes. I have been refunded on 3 items so far but I’ve seen 2 items that they failed to get money back on. Both were at least $7 each, had plenty of time left to be submitted, and were on a protected card. When I emailed them to ask why they didn’t submit these their response seemed like they didn’t understand what I was saying. Also, I got a new capital one quicksilver card. The reason picked this card was because it is a covered card according to Earny but only on the MasterCard platform. Capital one changed this card to the Visa platform a year ago but Earny customer service advised they could not change it. Kind of annoyed.

Free money!. I’ve join Earny almost a year ago and got a total of 6 dollars back. I know it doesn’t sound much but I didn’t have to do anything to get the 6 dollars. Earny constantly looks for lower prices for the purchases made online and when it finds a lower price it reaches out to either the company such as Walmart or the credit card company (if it has price protection) used to purchase the item. It notifies me if I received the refund and it charges a small fee for the services. For example for a 3 dollar refund, Earny was going to charge me 75 cents.

Amazing. This is so easy and amazing. I saw this in GMA one day and installed it right away. The only downfall for me is my daily credit card isn’t working with earny so I am not getting as much back as I could be. I am in the process of calculating my possible average returns with earny vs the current rewards on my current credit card. Based on my findings I may switch companies. Even without getting back everything I could I still get back from companies that price match and earny does find those for me. UPDATE switched credit card companies and it runs so much smoother. The best part of all of this is I don’t have to do a thing I just watch the refunds roll in.

Disappointing. The app is fine. It’s visually appealing, fun, & it does what it says. You will get money back if your purchases drop price for any reason. The disappointing part is, say you buy a large pack of TP for $20 and there’s a price drop down to $16 you’ll get the $4 difference. The catch is, they’ll only give you the difference you earn on purchases if you have one of their approved credit cards. Well, I don’t have a credit card. I’m building my credit. I use my banks Visa Check card or a reloadable credit card (such as PayPal Visa). It shouldn’t matter how I paid for it. The bottom line is, I paid for item(s) & if there is a price adjustment due I deserve it. This “stipulation” really needs to change.

Pretty good app with minor annoyances. Pretty simple to set up and use. Wish they could do price checks on more credit cards as they only have certain banks or they offer to get you another credit card which I don’t need. I hate how it wants you to invite your friends and you cannot get rid of that bar otherwise I would probably give it 5 stars. App is otherwise pretty intuitive and easy to use. It saves some money from time to time and automatically puts it to a designated card, but I wish you had the option to do PayPal or something else. I guess I can’t complain too much as long as they keep the credit card and personal information safe and gives me some cash back every once in awhile.

Worst Cashback App and Experience. This is by far the worst cashback app ever. I have waited over a year for my cashback to be paid out. Purchase I made in March & April 2020 have lots been paid out as of late August 2021. Numerous requests to customer service just lead to worthless responses that they are still working to get these paid out and will update me. GFY after over a year of these responses. And I was a paying member! This app used to be decent and provide a service back when retailers would honor price drops and you could get adjustments-Earny would alert you to that. Since that stopped a year ago, this app is useless. I warn everyone-never download this thinking you’ll ever see the money or increase cash back they offer. ITS A SCAM. That’s all I can surmise at this point.

Actually surprisingly great. I had low to medium expectations for this app. It seems too good to be true. But it actually works. Within the first few days, it found several price changes it thought it could get refunded. And then I started getting checks in the mail, which granted, are small (<$10), but they add up pretty quickly, and the app does all the work for you. Your mileage will probably vary depending on what credit card you have. If you have a Chase card or some of the others listed that work, they can do all the work for you to submit statements, price changes, etc.

Where has this app been all my life??. Just set it and forget it. This app is pretty amazing. It’s like my own personal assistant. I don't mind the small fee for getting me my money back - I wouldn't be getting it back anyway without the app as I don’t have time to find price drops for everything I purchase online. I don't have time to personally file the claims and I love that they do it for me. I do a lot of shopping online so I'm so glad I discovered this app! So far it has gotten me back quite a bit of money! Would highly recommend!

Unexpected but delighted. I’ve downloaded Earny a while back but realized that the credit card spend it can track and represent was limited. I’ve been using more of my Amex recently so I’ve received emails saying that I’ve could’ve gotten a refund but I’ve used the wrong card. Recently I’ve noticed Earny emails sent to Walmart on my behalf requesting for a price adjustment. This was certainly a pleasant surprise and i had used my Amex to purchase the order. Needless to say it was unexpected but I was delighted to see this app in action. Yesterday I received an email stating that I could be eligible for a refund from Target however they require a live chat. So the email provided the link to the Target chat, verbiage I should include and also screenshots of the sale item to claim the price adjustment for. I successfully got back about $12 on two items which is awesome!! Thank you Earny! I went home and started talking about Earny to my family!!

Second refund on the same order!. I've gotten just over $2.00 back so far, not much but I also did absolutely nothing to get it back. If someone handed you two dollars you'd take it right?! As a stay at home mom every dollar counts. Earny is painless and awesome since it does literally everything for you no strings attached. Update: I've now gotten three refunds!! This is awesome because Christmas shopping in a budget is hard enough, you try and get the best deals on your own and nothing is worse than paying for something only to see it go in sale the next week. Earny takes the work out of shopping around and makes sure you pay the lowest price. Couldn't be happier. Another update: earny just got me back another .51 cents. Doesn't sound like a lot but I'm at almost 4.00 now and I didn't have to do a thing. And the best part is it automatically refund it to the card you used to purchase the product you overspent on.

Feeling more comfortable. I saw something online about this app and I was curious so I looked it up in my App Store. I downloaded it and was very nervous giving access to personal information. I didn’t do the put a card on file part, no way was I gonna give that information. Then checks started showing up in my mail during the 30 free no card needed trial. I got a little more comfortable. That trial started about 5-6 weeks ago. I now have put my card on file so they can get their commission and my refunds are almost at $40 to date. Happy I found this wonderful app.

Earny has truly worked for me. I make a lot of purchases online and thought why not give Earny a try. I was a little skeptical at first because I hadn't seen any price reductions on the things that I bought. I gave up and stopped checking the app everyday. This morning I woke up to emails from Earny as well as from Walmart stating they were issuing me a refund based on a price reduction of the item I purchased. This truly shows that Earny is working for me in the background. Just because I don't see something happen right away it doesn't mean they are not doing their job. Thank you Earny for make my me a believer.

So far so good. Does what it says it will. ----UPDATE----so far Kohl's has refused to honor their price match policy due to the request being done by a third party and Walmart will only honor one request per day. So of the $100+ of requested price matching refunds, I've gotten $4. I think it's worse knowing what you could have had then not knowing at all. Also, I sent an email to Earny asking if they were aware of Kohl's policy and have not gotten a response. I don't see how they can claim Kohl's in their list of stores they get you money back from if they can't actually get you any money. Seems like false advertising to me.

Bait and switch app. Used to have this app when they took a percentage of what they saved you. I buy most of my items online and I saved hundreds through the app. The app though had constant issues storing credit card info and loosing it or canceling it. Many complaint and they did nothing, so I canceled it. My app ran in the background and since they switched to a flat mo they fee I get constant emails or pop ups saying you could have saved $X here or $X there etc. so I decide to try it again and I reactive stuff the new mo thot fee. Since I activated my membership, ZERO TEXTS, POP UPS OR EMAILS SAYING THEY CAN SAVE ME MONEY! NONE! and now they say they no longer offer price march from credit cards like they used to. So I can save tons of money and you flaunt it, then I sign up you take my money and two months later I have not saved a single penny nor received a single email text or pop up now saying they can save me anything... bait and switch... horrible

Pretty cool. I opened the mail one day and had a refund check for $2.00 from “Card Services.” I have signed up for a few apps that claim to get you money on stuff or the lowest price, etc. but I hadn’t ever seen an actual check from one. I had also recently changed phones and hadn’t reinstalled the apps so I wasn’t sure which one was producing. I really didn’t think much about it because...well, let’s face it, it’s just 2 bucks. I’ve had a total of 4 refunds totaling just at $11...which is pretty good considering I did absolutely nothing and got money in the mail! I think I’ll keep this one.

Cash Refunds. I am so happy I found this site. What Earny does is keep track of the items you paid for by charge card and if that item goes on sale within 90 days you get a check for the difference! Easy! Since signing up last month I have received 4 checks ranging from $2.00 to $5.54. Almost $16 refunded just going about my life. It may not sound like much to everyone but for someone who uses .25c coupons at the store this is huge! If I were you I’d sign up now! Tell them Margaret Blaho sent you and I can get a referral bonus... ahhh referral bonuses, that’s something else you can look forward to!

Pleasantly surprised!. I actually wasn’t expecting this app to do March however I have received over $30 in rebates. Every now and then it’s small checks that I’m receiving anywhere from a dollar to five dollars however some of them are larger ones like $10 for certain items. I also received money because of shipping issues that they call on the half of me which I would’ve never of done on my own. This app is a great app to make a little bit of money that you otherwise would not of received or found!

Want money back without breaking a sweat.. I was skeptical at first when I heard about earny. Signed up just to check it out. First go didn't go so well as my Citi Bank card which had price protection wasn't part of their program. Cancelled my account. Then several weeks later I decided to try again since my other card was part of their program. So far Earny has gotten me at least $30 in refunds just in the last 3 weeks since I signed up again. I highly recommend this app. Update1: All in all I have received $36 in refund checks through Earny. If you haven’t downloaded this you are missing out. Update 2: So far so good. Linked with my CC and I don’t have to do anything. Refund checks just come in and I deposit them. Update 3: The checks just keep coming in. Getting refunds are so easy. The only thing I wish they would add is a breakdown of the invoice for what they are charging me. I wrote a review back then and I am not sure if they waived the fee for the review. Here I will be taking off a star for that. Better explanation of invoices.

Felt Scammed. I kept being charged by Earny, but didn't receive anything in the mail. So I reached out to their support team and found out all the claims Earny submitted for me had the wrong info. Earny gave me a website link and told me to go track down the lost checks myself. It’s like your accountant messed up your taxes, charged you anyways and gave your IRS’s website and told you to figure out yourself. Anyhow, since the tots of the checks was less than $30, I figured it wasn't worth the trouble, as long as Earny continues to work in the future. But NO, there's no more claims even when I noticed a significant drop in one of the items it's tracking. AND I was charged again by Earny even though there hasn't been any claims. Honestly, I really wanted to like the service and when I started using it I told all my friends about it. Now I feel embarrassed telling them about this unreliable app that just kept charging me for services they never provided.

Earny has saved me $28. This is a great app, but sometimes it’ll tell you you’ve been credited and actually haven’t. I’ve be waiting for a $5.99 check to come in the mail for a month and still haven’t gotten it even though earny still took his %25 randomly all at once which almost caused me to overdraft. Overall, it’s still worth it making a few bucks even though your scammed every once & awhile. Technically I’ve gotten less than $15 even though the app claims otherwise and the only way to contact them is through email. Days go by and they, of course, tell me I have been credited what the app says I have.

Not happy AT ALL. At the beginning of June, I emailed customer service to cancel my subscription. I had to email them three times to cancel. I finally got an email back saying that my account was deleted. Two days ago, I received an email from Earny stating that they were unable to process my subscription, but I cancelled the subscription at the beginning of the month. This morning, I checked my checking account and Earny has taken money out of my account. I just purchased something online from Walmart and, just now, I’ve received an email saying Earny is tracking my purchase. I said to cancel my account. This app is taking money out of my account and tracking purchases through my email. Don’t download this app. The subscription fee is not worth it. The return isn’t worth the investment. I want my account deleted now. I wanted my account deleted at the beginning of the month. I don’t understand what the problem is.

Much better than before. Having been an Earny user for about 2 years now, I can honestly say that the last few updates have improved this app tremendously. I used to always have issues linking my credit cards which invariably caused me to miss out on potential refunds. However, this issue has been resolved as of this writing. Another now-fixed Earny glitch was now pending refund claims seemed to get stuck in claim-limbo and would show as pending for months and months with no change in the claim status, let alone actually getting users their money back. Now, if additional info or user action is required on an Earny-initiated claim, you get an email with clear, straightforward instructions that breakdown what the user must do in order for Earny to move forward with a claim. Sometimes it’s as easy as copy-and-pasting some text into an agent chat or email and hitting send... My only suggestion to improve Earny at this time would involve clearer directions or communication to MasterCard users after they’ve submitted the requisite PIN to Earny; I received 1-2 emails from the MasterCard people about my claim after Earny got my refund claim PIN and thought that I was going to have to do more work and respond to their documentation requests myself. Fortunately, Earny took care of all that FOR ME because I likely wouldn’t have pursued the matter on my own and ultimately would’ve left money on the table.

This app drives me nuts!!!!!!!. I can’t stand this app bc I just get mad every time I look at my purchases! I currently have 7 purchases that Earny is “tracking” from one of their included stores (Walmart) and the prices have dropped. On one of the items, the price has dropped MULTIPLE times and still earny has done nothing. I understand earny wants to find the “best” price, but these items are only price protected for 2 more days. I also have products in which the price dropped, earny did nothing, then the price went back up. I’ve lost a few refunds that way bc the app isn’t doing what it says. I emailed earny about this and they replied with an automated email that did not even answer my question at all! I’m glad I check these apps out before I start referring people bc I definitely won’t be referring this app!

Complete Scam!. Have to give full access to your email account, CANNOT PHYSICALLY REMOVE CREDIT CARD, have had for months and got ZERO refunds, got an email from a store that I had bought an item online at stating that my order had been cancelled as requested (showed an email that apparently “I had written”) and it found out after some research that Earny contacts vendors FROM YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT without your knowledge. In attempting to get me a “refund” the app actually somehow managed to cancel my order entirely.” UPDATE- Removed my account to ensure that my info was removed, it confirmed and was successful. Tested it by trying to log back in and was instantly brought right back into it (didn’t even put credentials into the app, just selected my email provider). I then tried to remove my account again and have been given an error message every time even after closing app and going back in. WILL NOT LET ME REMOVE MY INFORMATION.

Like but needs a few updates/fixes on a couple issues & then I would really love this app. So when I first started to use this app I really loved it!! I mean who wouldn’t? An app that is linked to your card so it knows what you’ve purchased and tracks it to see if the price of the item you bought has reduced in price and if so they make sure you get the difference back of that!! That’s awesome! But then I started to notice a little while back and is still continuing to do this, is I enter in my card information in order to “activate price protection” and submit it and then I’ll go back and look at the item and it never saved my card information so it still tells me “activate price protection” for every single transaction. So it’s not saving the information like it should in order to receive money back. And it now shows the wrong information for the “card ending in *xxxx” I have tried updating card info to see if it would link the correct card back on all my transactions; didn’t work. I even tried deleting and re-adding my card info; that didn’t work either so needless to say this app was amazing but unfortunately now it is useless for me since it’s not working like it should be. I’m assuming it’s a bug they need to fix on their end of things so hoping they do that quick so I can start using this app again and activate my subscription because I refuse to pay an annual payment on a subscription for an app that doesn’t work properly like beforehand...

I decided to give it a try after reading some good reviews online and am so happy I did! It's like a little elf in the background of your life making sure you get the most bang for your buck. I'm certainly not going to keep an eye on the prices of all the items I've recently bought for price matching, so it's amazing that Earny can just do it for me!

Unbelievable. I saw this on fox business and said why not sign up. Within 2 days I received my first refund. Then my app crashed and will log back on. Company has no email to ask questions. Also sent people the app and errors came up. Dropped Earny for awhile but they reached out to me again. This time I contacted them with my problem is signing on. Unlike the problems before the next day they responded with the information to get me up and working. Much better customer service

Loving Earny!!. Was a little skeptical at first with adding all of my card information but I’m happy with the way things are turning out! Earny has been keeping track of quite a few of my purchases and has found a few to get some money back on! Love Earning Money. I’m writing this to save paying my fee to Earny but I would have written this review anyway after getting a refund. Easy app to use. I was skeptical about giving my credit card info but called my credit card customer service to make them aware. There’s nothing to do once you sign up except wait to see Earny tracking your online shopping for lower prices. So far I’ve gotten a refund from Kohl’s and Walmart. Any money I get back is nice. It makes my day!

Easy Money. I’ve tried to use price protection through my credit cards but frankly it’s a hassle. You have to take pictures of your receipts and upload them. And if there is more than one item on the receipt you literally have to do it multiple times. This was so easy. Just link your card and it’s a done deal. I didn’t even know it was tracking. Definitely glad I found the app. $5 is $5. Why spend money when you don’t have to?

This is awesome. Honestly I forgot I had the app until I got an email from Walmart saying that my refund was in its way. At first I was confused but later I realize what happen when I checked the notifications on the app. The set up was a breeze and the benefits are definitely worth it. Outstanding Service. Earny provides such great , effortless, painless, money saving services to consumers. It is a wonderful consumer advocate. It protects you from paying more than you should. All you need to do is download the app, sign up/ enroll and shop confidently online because it quietly tracks your purchases and all of a sudden you’d get notifications that you are getting money back in return because you paid more than what you should! I regret not using it earlier because I could’ve saved more money.

First refund and more to come!. It was great to see my first refund come through and didn’t involve any work or time on my part to track items or prices. It’s a convenient way to earn money back that you already spent! I’ve now received multiple refunds and it’s always a nice win. The only negative is sometimes getting a hold of Support. I’ve had several pending refunds for several months so been challenging to find out the status.

It sounds good but ..... The app is great based on what people are saying but when I got to sign up page they have an agreement where if you use you yahoo account or any other email third party companies they are allowed to have full access to you email account they can read and write messages and get any information they want about you or other people you are connected to this means if you send bank statement or other important information to someone you trust they can view it so I ended up not agreeing to the terms be carful and read the agreement. I’m just trying to help I didn’t even try the app so I’m not hating or anything. The app might be good but I don’t recommend signing up though

Are you having trouble? So was I!. I got a check at first which sucked me in and they persuaded me to post a glowing review. After that I couldn’t recoup a single dollar.. I kept getting a BA5 error. I contacted customer support who said they’d “look into it”, but they never got back to me and there was never any resolution. Unfortunately I read several reviews like this. I believe people rush to put up the encouraged great reviews but it’s only based on one refund thinking there’ll be more like I did. Sad part is, now Earny has your email address, access to it, and your credit card accounts, and access to those store accounts as well and you have to change all those passwords for your identity safety. This app has scam written all over it.

Illegal monitoring and Violation of privacy. I downloaded the app to only to see what it was when it was new. Never completed the setup, never authorized any monitoring, never entered my credit card. Got a bill for a refund after I got all by myself without them so much as noticing the price change!!! I have contacted them to reverse charges, which they did, and to have them stop monitoring my email, which they said they would. Yet I keep receiving notices about my online orders which they still monitor in my email. I removed the app, yet they continue monitoring my email. You just can’t get rid of them even if you never set up the app past entering your email. It’s like the mafia, you can’t get out. Ever. And it’s illegal.

Love this App. This is the best App ever! I’m all about saving money. There are Apps out there that save you money before you buy something and that’s great. First refund. I signed up for Earny quite while ago and it's extremely easy. I did get notified a couple months ago that I overpaid $20 for a sweater from Old Navy. I don't know if Old Navy refused to refund but I never saw that money. However, I did get $0.41 from Walmart for my first refund. So after the 10 cent fre, I got 31 cents back. If I ever get a decent refund then I will up the rating. Or if I get more than the one sinceu account is showing a few other things that I overpaid for but never got any money back. The jury is still out on this

Easy Money 💰 💰 💰. I love a good deal and always try to find the lowest price on the things I buy, but inevitably something will go down in price after I buy it. Earny does a great job watching my purchases and automatically contacts my credit card company to request a price protection refund. I've already recovered well over $100 across multiple purchases with no work on my part beyond signing up for an Earny account. I love it and It couldn't be easier! 100% recommend!!!

Already saving me money and time!. Wow, I’m so impressed by this Earny app already! It just saved me almost $10 and a lot of time (if I were to return this on my own it would have taken many many minutes as well as waiting in line and hoping to find the item again). With this awesome app, I just have it read my credit card and find things that are cheaper now, it gets me a refund automatically! I need to go now so I can tell all my friends about it, seriously this is the best!

It’s a trade off, but worth it for me. Earny feels like magic. You spend money, and then they help you get money back. It’s so much easier than tracking price claims manually! Naturally, there’s a trade off. You do have to give Earny a LOT of access to your email and other accounts. If security is a concern, this probably isn’t the app for you. I’ve put all my receipts in their own gmail account and given Earny access to that. I know I’m sacrificing some security for some money, but the rebates have been substantial so for me, it’s worth the trade off.

This app is awesome!. When I signed up for this app, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Unfortunately, there is no option to add an American Express card, which is what I make all of my purchases on. I didn’t think it would be possible for me to earn money back for this reason. I linked my email to the app, and recently earny got me a refund of $10 just by checking my recent purchases and reaching out to the company on my behalf. I didn’t have to do anything! I would definitely recommend this app to others.

Seems too good and probably is.. After months I’ve gotten no refunds or anything to show for signing up for the app. I get frequent emails about the money I’m missing so I went to link my credit card up to claim the money shown in the email and they took my credit card info and signed it up for a subscription. There is no way to cancel the subscription. All you can do is email them. Also no way to remove your credit card info. I’m sure it works for others but I’m extremely frustrated by an app that takes my info and enrolls me in annual subscriptions without my consent and then refuses to allow me to cancel or remove my own credit card info.

I didn’t have to do anything. I didn’t have to do anything to receive money back on items that I recently purchased. I said to myself I’ll try this new app just to see if it was to good to be true & it wasn’t it was true. I opened my mail today & I received 8 checks for 8 different items that I had purchased (within the previous 90 days) I was like “this Earny really works” I was refunded the difference since the items that I purchased were now selling for a lesser price. Awesome !!!!!!!

Looking out for me. To be honest I had completely forgotten that I had signed up for Earny. All of a sudden I get an email saying you can get a refund, all you have to do is copy and paste this already written out text. Well that makes my life easier! I copied and pasted a text to target and got my return processed that same day. I don’t mind that earny takes a percentage. I honestly don’t go price matching unless it’s a big difference. So someone or an app to search for me and do it for me, that’s a win win

So easy. This app makes it so easy to get the refund. They send you an email giving you the number to call and exactly what to ask for. Seriously takes me 30 seconds from start to finish. I enter it into the app and viola! Yes some refunds are around $5 but that’ll get me a lunch for the day. The last one i just did was for $29! Such a great little app! One thing i do want to say is that they changed the way the feeds look. Not really user friendly as compared to last one. But really who cares when it saves u $$$$$

Awesome! I’m Impressed. I installed the app earlier this evening and registered one of my credit cards. Before I knew it, the app reflected purchasing activities for two months. A little bit later on this evening, I was informed that the app submitted a claim to A retailer for .80 cents. Now, I know that the amount of the claim is not “Earth Shattering,” but I received notifications for the claim from the retailer about the refund and before I was getting ready for bed, I was informed that the retailer had refunded the amount of the claim. Broken app. Horrible. Can’t link some of my cards due to loading issues. Wrote customer service and still haven’t heard back in over a month. Have several items with lower price but no rebate from any of them. Also have 2 items bought at different times one of them $8 cheaper but when I look at the price graph on those items, they are both different therefore it’s like I can’t claim the difference on the one purchase. Did manage to get a $9 rebate in the beginning and after that my account just messed all up. Maybe it’s just me but not a good experience having to email them and take several photos just for them to send a generic email saying “they’ll look into it” without a resolution.

Great. I’ve got back over $50 in less than 6 months. It takes some effort when I signed up entering different accounts and information, but after that was done there’s no effort at all. Everything is automatic. Most of the refunds are small, a dollar or two. Every once in a while I get a big one, like $24 on a tool that cost me less than $50. It’s all money I would never had got if not for Earny. Now into my second six months and refunds keep on coming. 😊 Over $100 now!

Best APP ever!. Oh my gosh! I can not say enough amazing things about the Earny App. I was very leary about paying the yearly fee (this is the fee oprion I chose- there are 3 options ) but within 2 days I have already received discounts over and above the annual fee I paid. If you ever shop online you can not afford to not have Earny by your side. I would have never known about these price drops, Earny does all the work for you all you have to do is sit back and wait for your refund.

No support - No Reimbursement. I waited 2 months before finally deleting. Watched prices drop over 50% on some purchases. Then I get an email telling me to add credit cards to get reimbursed for amount when they already had my debit but card info. So I added my cards but then emailed support to inquire about how I use my debit card for day to day purchases and not my cc. Waited days for response only got the automated indicated someone would be in touch. No one ever got in touch- I finally deleted the app but at this point I have to get all new cards and change my email password because they now have access to all of that because I was foolish enough to think this was safe.. stupid move.

Doesn’t happen too often. Had it for a few months now and haven’t got a dime, but every now and then I get emails that I COULD get $50 or so cash back, but only if I have their credit card protection enabled which is only possible through their small selection of credit cards. Edit: I finally got my first refund of $22 on an online order, and they actually emailed walmart requesting a price adjustment (which they accepted) on my behalf. I respect that an actual email was sent out like that and have raised my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I shop online a lot and just wished it would work more.

Why not earn money by literally doing nothing!. I’ll be honest and tell you that I did this review in order to get my entire refund back, but I’m glad that I am able to get the opportunity to let people know how much I love this app. It is so easy to hookup all of your forms of payments that you pay with on Earny, and then it finds all of the discounts for you. My one recommendation to the developer is to maybe lower the commission fee that they earn on their end, but other than that it’s a great app!

Doesn’t work, being charged even after deleting app. The app says it takes up to 72 hours to load all your transactions but I had the app on my phone for over a week and I still got a waiting screen whenever I would open it. I deleted my account. Then I noticed an “Earny Refund Service Charge” on my credit card. I contacted Earny to confirm my account had been deleted and I disputed the charge. A couple months later, I noticed another one of the same service charges hidden in my credit card bill. I’ve contacted Earny about this but they can’t find my previous account and don’t know what the charge is for. That is unacceptable to me. As of today it is still unresolved and customer service was no help.

Wouldn’t recommend it. I signed up and over and over i see they’re claiming and tracking but nothing gets credited. Then recently got charged for their hefty 25% service fee. They claim it was a price adjustment they requested for me but I had called on my own to get the price adjustment. After researching, they indicated they filed the claim but the dates they submitted the requests was way after the date I received my credit back from the retailer. So how is that possible that you can charge me a service charge for a price adjustment that you didn’t provide since it clearly shows from the claim dates that I got the price adjustment before earny even filed the claim. Been trying to inquire and they’re so bad with their response time.

Kicked Out of App. I loved when I first put it on my phone. It worked well for three months; then ask me for my email and password and I keep getting an error message. There is no one to contact and it's difficult to find out how to get help. AC I have an update. I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden I was able to retrieve my information and get back on the Earny app. It’s already saved me money! Although I never was able to contact anyone for support; it ultimately worked out. AC

It works but.... Overall, it works to alert you of lower prices. But the first time I got an alert, I did nothing and the retailer never responded to Earny’s (my) request for a refund, so I lost out. So the next time I was alerted, I took it upon myself to reach out to the retailer and got reimbursed. So it’s not totally hands off - you have to follow up, but it is free money I wouldn’t have otherwise noticed. But if you use discounts or rewards to make your purchase, odds are the retailer won’t honor the price match, citing the fact that your discount reduced your price (which is total BS IMO).

Wish more of my cards could connect to this app, please add more cards as options!. Honestly so happy with this app, but at the same time I wish I could add more cards to my app (it only lets you pick from certain cards). If I could connect more cards this would be a 5/5 Star review. I have two cards currently that can connect to it and the results have been amazing. I have bought things I would have got regardless, but now I’m getting money back (even if it’s just a dollar or two sometimes) that I never would have known I could get back. Love it!!!

Cash back in my pocket. I was skeptical at first, with making sure the security of my information was kept private, and that I could really get money back from purchases made that then went on sale. I do not have the time to research every item I buy online and then follow up with filing claims. With Earny the work is done for me. Within the first two weeks I had received two refunds, and notifications of other overpayments. The only thing I had a problem with was price drops that happened on an expired card but the same account, claims not filed before the time limit.

Getting Refund is fun!. When I finally signed up to use Earny app I had my doubts whether this was going to really get me refunds. But I must say it is been slowly but surely giving me back money I didn’t even know I had due. The rebates are really good ones, because it pops up and let you know when there is one that you might otherwise over look. You can also get friends to join up and get savings off of their purchases as well. It’s a win win situation using the Earny app.

wow!. I recently remodeled my house all the way down to the studs, so I had to buy all new stuff, and most of it was purchased online. I downloaded Earny to see if I could get some money back and it has already saved me over $66 in the past 2 weeks that I’ve had it! Yes, it takes a percentage of the money that I got refunded, BUT that’s money I wasn’t expecting back at all before I knew about the app so i’m totally ok with splitting the difference! Totally recommend it and all of your information is confidential!

Worth it.. Going through the 15 or so minutes it takes to set up an account with Earny is totally worth it. It's straightforward and easy to use. I'm a stay-at-home mom and so shopping online can be a lot more convenient- but, can also be really challenging when you're thinking you could find it cheaper in-store. Earny worries about that for me AND follows through. One minor snafu is that certain retailers only allow one refund, per order, per day... but, it's still worth it.

Was skeptical. I was totally skeptical of this app. But once it scanned my email and found tons of receipts and found prices that changed on several things I purchased. I started getting refund notifications. This app actually put the money back on my debit card. That flippin awesome! Some prob wonder how this app makes it money. It’s earns by reviews. If you don’t give a review it charges you a certain percentage of your refund amount. Who cares tho, this app is worth the $2 on a $10 refund

Most credit cards offer a refund if the price of an item you bought drops within a specified time limit. Earny tracks item prices that you have purchased. If the price drops, Earny will send in a refund request to your credit card company on your behalf and get the difference refunded for you! They charge a fee for this service, but it is only a small percentage of what you are refunded. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Great app!. I love this! All I did was set it up and haven’t to do a thing since. I love that it tracks all my purchases and contacts the company to get the price difference without needing anything extra. Great timesaver! I’m really loving it during this holiday shopping season, as so much can be done online and you want to make sure you are getting the best deals. I do wish that there were more card options that could be connected- that is my only complaint.

Like what I see!!!. Was told about this app by a friend. Wasn’t sure how well it would work. It’s actually amazing. All my purchases are monitored for 4 months, and Bang, before u know it your getting all these checks in the mail. I almost threw them out thinking it was junk mail so be careful. To date, I have been reimbursed $195. If the app finds that your purchase was sold at a lower price you will be reimbursed. It’s because of the fine print on your credit card regarding price protection.

Shocking Refund. I downloaded the app a couple of months ago and deleted it because I thought hadn’t finished setting it up by linking a credit card to my account. I got an email from Earny saying there had been a price drop on some of the items of buying lately from Target for my new apartment. I appreciated the return and I redownloaded the app to see it had been tracking all of my orders I’d been making since I first made my account.

Fraudulent Charges from Earny. Just logged into Earny for the first time in forever and they just changed to a subscription based plan and got the pop up. I said “maybe later” I scrolled through my profile to find out that they auto-enrolled me in the subscription service weeks ago with NO email about the update and absolutely NO consent. They were going to use my card on file that was scanning for price drops (I added this years ago when there was no subscription) so they could auto-charge me $60 p/year. This is absolutely abhorrent!! Reporting this on the App Store so Apple will have this app taken down from the store and also reporting to the BBB. Apple — please do something about this.

It’s all better now. Now after the various updates and new features this app is much much better. The one thing missing that was really a headache was not being able to stop the app from tracking things that were previously returned or exchanged. However, now that feature is there an it’s a relief. Hopefully it’ll keep getting better. Thank you for helping me get some of my money back and great work and customer service.

Download and wait with patience. I have previously downloaded the app and deleted it simply because I did not know how to properly use it. I have now linked it to all of my credit cards, bank account and my email(to find electronic receipts) and I just got a refund if $40 on a purchase from a month ago. Just download the app and forget about it. They will send the email for all refunds and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the money refunded back to you!

Awesome app. I was very skeptical about this app. It made me nervous to put in my information on this app because I don’t like putting my info out there. I finally decided to give it a go and I am glad I did. I get a few little checks per week in my mailbox and they are adding up. I no longer worry about price shopping because I just let this app do it for me. I did open a chase card as it suggested and I would recommend that you do the same. Start saving!

Great. I had Parabus before I knew about Earny and Parabus never did anything for me before. I even had to contact them when there was a price drop because they never caught it and I'm still waiting for my money back. Earny tracked all my purchases immediately and automatically found price drops and submitted claims. I just received notice of my first payout I receipt back. Awesome! Update: I've been using the app for a few months and have gotten about $40 total back. It's pretty cool.

Works, but.... I downloaded and installed the app about a month ago, but upon reading the fine print I decided I wasn’t into the program. I unpaired and deleted the app but they still sent emails from my address. Being a cheap-o, I already followed up on prices on my own and called companies to lower my prices. Even after attempting to delete the program they still attempted to claim the refunds as their success. When I attempted to cal customer service they were unhelpful. If you’re ok with a company being able to access and send emails on your behalf then take 25% of the spoils then you’ll be fine. But make sure you’re 100% before signing up cause I think meth might be easier to quit.

Review. Great App! Makes me feel better about buying something because i know I can possibly get money back ! It’s Always nice to check the mail and find a check no mAtter how much it is!! I do nothing and get extra money back!! Only thing I don’t like is they charge you a fee so they actually charge your credit cArd just for getting like $2 back... BUT if you write a review sometimes they waive the fee so that makes it worth it !!! Love the app!!
