Very unreliable. Biggest waste of a dollar. Literally try to find any other way to do this

Needs some clarity, and polish, but has great Dev team. I downloaded this app after seeing it posted by the Dev in a Reddit thread. Needing a haircut soon, and wanting a change in hairstyle I thought I would give this app a try since I've always had a hard time determining my face shape. I decided to pay the $0.99 rather than ask for a promo code or anything since I wanted to try and support the developer a bit more for creating an app I have wanted to see done well for a long time. The tools in this app work pretty well. The handles to drag around your face to accurately outline your face are responsive and work well. The buttons at the bottom of the screen are crowded and have zero description of what they do, but it doesn't take too long to figure them out after hitting each one to test out its function. Once you figure out all the buttons, getting a picture in is easy enough, but there is no direction after this point. There is a main "cross" that largely determines your base for outlining your face, but there is no help in the app as to where these go. I didn't know if the horizontal line should go across my eyes, the widest part of my face, or where it should be. After placing the anchoring points where I thought they should be and trying to get the shape of my face as close as possible I got different shapes recommend to me multiple times, and tried different photos with a similar experience of multiple shapes being given. The anchoring points were easy to adjust, but the results given were the only point of contention. The app has a decent base, but needs improvement before it is reliable in its results.

Nice idea but...... Everyone in my office(8 people) tried it and everyone got diamond. We have very different face shapes so I know this app is not very accurate. Hopefully they can fix it!

Not worth the money. Definitely not worth .99. You have to manually assign facial points. No auto recognition (think snap chat).

Works very well! Recommend!. I have downloaded other apps to see my face shape and none have worked however this one works amazing! It’s very accurate and I totally recommend!

It’s okay. It was okay at first works well enough but now won’t open. I’ve tried closing it and reopening there are no updates I uninstalled and reinstalled and still won’t open

Not worth it! Does not give accurate shape!. Don’t waste your money! Gave everyone a triangle face shape which is so incorrect!!! Rating is zero “0” stars but wouldn’t allow me to rate that way!

Not worth a Dollar. Sry clunky and seem to have been designed 10 years ago. It is very hard to make an accurate outline with non zoomable points. Look elsewhere.

Only says diamond on everyone. I got this for me to see my face shape . I kept getting diamond when I know I don’t have a diamond face shape . I then tested the app on about 5 other people with many different face shapes and they all say diamond. Very upset that I paid for this .

Face app. Worst app ever .. screen doesn’t show anything.. can’t maneuver between screens.. This app doesn’t do what it says Pay for an app that I can’t even use going to have to delete this now and eat my money

Does what it says. The app says that it will allow you to find out what shape face you have and it does just that. It doesn't analyze a picture of you but allows you to use a picture of yourself to find out.

Won’t open!. I’ve tried uninstalling & reinstalling, restarting my phone. It won’t load at all for me! Waste of .99

Loss of money!. I have taken 18 pictures and used pictures from my library. Nothing has worked. I've gone onto their how to use this app area, with no success. I do not purchase a lot of apps. So, Please don't waste your money on this one like I did.

Worked well. Had some trouble repositioning the markers but got the basic idea. Helped me choose hairstyles.

Pretty Bad. This app told me that I have a "triangle" face. Well, my face is clearly round. Doesn't do anything you couldn't do by looking in a mirror.

Does exactly what it says. Take a picture, outline your face, gives you a shape. You can also use pictures from your photo library. I had to retake a few times because of the lighting/needed to take the picture straight on. Simple app that does exactly what’s advertised.

Nice simple app. Great app for finding out face shape rather than measuring out facial proportions myself. Would recommend if you want to quickly and simply find out your face shape. 👍🏼

Poop. I hate this app

Awful. It doesn't tell you your face shape. You have to drape these outlines around to where you *think* they should go and then it guesses off your work. So if you're wrong, it's wrong.

It is good,but...... This app is good, it does what it does and I am happy with that, the thing is, you need to take a good picture of your face, because sometimes it would give you a face shape once, but then in the second try/more, it can give you another shape. What I did is that I took a picture of my whole head, close, but not that close to the camera, also make sure you have good lighting. Also this app must be paid for, which is a bit bizarre to me, since it only has function to it, but atleast it’s cheap.

Waste of time and money. This app does nothing. Should refund everyone's money and take down the app.

Waste of money. I've uploaded two photos and after applying the guides three times have been given three face shapes.

Can't outline face. Doesn't work

Darn it! NO STARS. I hit the purchase button on this app by mistake and would love a refund! From what I can tell, it's rather dumb! PS. I couldn't send review without giving it one star, and it doesn't deserve that, in my opinion.

Tried all the apps, this one by far is the best.. So I tried several other apps and this one by far is the best. I first used an existing picture and it gave me immediately an inverted triangle. Which is interesting bc I didn’t even know that there was such a thing. I always thought that I was a heart, to a square maybe. What I like about this is, you’re in control of how it shapes your face. I realized that it wasn’t picking up some features due to the terrible lighting in my room. I was able to move the lines around where it framed my face more accurately. The funny thing is, after doing all of the manipulating, it still came back as inverted triangle. So just to ensure that it was accurate, I manipulated a few things, like where my temples were and it put that I was then a heart. Which an inverted triangle and a heart are very close to being the same. I realized that I definitely wasn’t a heart bc my hairline goes straight across but again it just proved to me how accurate it really was. Just take your time when manipulating it yourself. I’m very happy with this app.

Very unhappy. I am very dissatisfied with this app. It is not user friendly and the shape defined on her is not accurate! I want my money back!

Total waste of money. I was very happy with the 2 minutes of time spent with the app as it correctly identified my very rare diamond face shape. BUT!!!!! It did not save the image of myself. If it did I cannot figure how to get to it. So, I can’t remember the exact price it was but it was more than two dollars. You REALLY think you should be allowed to charge me a rate equivalent to more than 60 dollars per hour for your app!!! And, it could not even do all the work itself. As I have fair skin and fairer hair there were a couple of dots I had to reposition. I’m so tempted to try all of your apps just to give them a bad review (which I am confident you will deserve). Apple, please kick these people off.
