Mispelled!. That intro quote- I was a bit bothered by the use of the word BEAR, which is an animal! The correct word would be in that quote-BARE!!! Please proofread apps quotes!

Love it.. Great app. I love the daily quote. Maybe adding the original Old Norse would be cool as well!

Proverbs from the Germanic mind. Which came first, Odin or Jesus on the sacrificial tree, a sacrifice of self to self? It does not matter. What matters is the pragmatism of these proverbs from the Germanic collective mind.

Very happy.... To have the Alfather’s words of advice wherever I go. Very glad to use this app daily. The beauty of the background options is icing on the cake.

Don’t download. The other purchases must have been the developers. First, the developers develop apps for other religions like Buddhism... Which is fine, but just know that your purchase isn’t supporting a heathen. Secondly, the app itself is terrible. The quotes (stanzas) get repeated constantly, I get notifications for my “daily Havamal” more than once a day and at odd times, and the stanzas are translated in such a rudimentary way that I couldn’t understand what was being said if I haven’t already read the Havamal. Not worth it to download, even if it’s free.

Nostalgic. Fulfilling and pleasing retention of the original structure and format

I love this app.. The wise words of the Havamal and the Voluspa are words to live by. They are the words of our Gods that have guided us for thousands of years and we should strive to learn from them and live by them.

Just one quote a day. I thought it would have the havamal for me to read in digital format. Like if you have the Bible app it’s the whole bible, not just random quotes. This is really disappointing. It gives you one little quote and says “come back tomorrow for more” which seems like a waste of $2

Waste.. Save your money. This isn’t a pocket guide at all and what this app offers can easily be solved by following fb pages that offer a stanza a day. What WOULD make this worth it’s money is mentioning what “chapter” a stanza comes from ie-wisdom for wandered and guests, lessons for lovers, etc, maybe offering some anecdotal interpretations of the stanzas and also including the stanzas in their original language. But shame on you for making an app that only shows what can be seen online for free.

Only quotes. I was disappointed when I opened this to find that it’s only quotes and not an actual book.

Same thing every 3 days. I get to read the same three stanzas every three days. Not worth the money imho.

Good and useful app!. I like seeing the notification of daily wisdom from Odin on my iPad and the break I take to read and think about the Stanza. My only feedback would be to use a more modern English translation of the Havamal.

Pretty good on the go. Although it’s nice to have on the go you can just get the pocket edition of the Havamal, not terribly accurate but good little read

Powerful. While my hard-worn paperback is great, the art and randomization of the selections fit more appropriately my everyday needs.

Fun app.. Nice daily inspiration. Works well only bug I see in this version is the notification time will not save if one exists the app. As this app revolves I hope they continue to enhance and add new verses and features.

And I paid for it.. I appreciate finding anything of Heathenistic nature. I had a bit of money one day and bought the app thinking it’d be stimulating. After a week, I’m just over it. The stanzas are cool but for money I’d like to see some random facts or history. Really anything more than the daily quotes. It was a waste of money to me. Great idea. Poor execution. I’m deleting. Bye bye money...

Terrible. The translation is absolutely terrible and in most cases completely wrong. Do not download this! This app is a disgrace and should be taken out of here completely.

Good not great. Needs more accurate translation. I really do like this app and has given me a new found appreciation of pagans. So much beauty and wisdom in this writing. My only gripe is with the translation. It’s 10 times worse than the King James Bible in old English and when I have to do some research and go to an academic source sometimes the stanza is even wrong along with a wack translation. But overall very refreshing.

Waste of money. App doesn’t work as it should. I can set a daily notification time and sound but the app never does anything. I don’t get a daily quote despite my attempt to make it happen at any time. Zero help from developer. Why was it worth any money?

Better than the book. This app is a good choice while I have multiple translations of the havamal, I prefer this one, and my books can’t give me a daily passage

Excellent daily havamal stanzas for daily considerations. Excellent job with it, simple yet powerful. As a Norse Heathen I love this addition to my practice, something extra to meditate on.
