Not enough lives. It's hard to marathon this game, I want to be able to play this game for like an hour but I can't due to the limited lives. Please make it easier to get more lives for free or allow the players to pay to get infinite lives. Also, as a way to make money, although you developers don't seem like the money grabbing type, add cosmetics that a player could buy with coins to add some more income. I love the huge map and minimal ads, just more lives please!

A few bugs. Every now and then it will glitch and explode a bomb on a square I’ve never touched, I turned touch duration up hoping that would help but the bombs still randomly explode

Great app, well worth the time and very satisfying. I love playing this game on long road trips or flights, it’s incredibly satisfying to slowly uncover the gigantic maps. The controls are great, you can easily zoom to a size convenient for you, and the fast-mode lives up to the name (remember to slow down a little to catch mistakes). Reading some of the other reviews here, I’d disagree with most of the complaints. Yes it does occasionally glitch, but that is very rare in my experience. The 25 minute timer for a life recharge may seem like a lot, but with such a huge map, it’s not difficult to play safe for an hour or so if you find yourself down to one life. I haven’t spent money on this game, but I have considered doing so as a donation more than anything. The ads are practically non-existant, there’s a small banner ad on the bottom of the screen which I forget exists after 5 minutes, and rarely on start up or when you lose a life, you might get a full screen ad which can be closed very quickly. All in all, easily deserving of a 5-star review and by far the best minesweeper app I have found.

This sums up everything that’s wrong with mobile gaming. The game is fun which is why it’s a staple on computers just like solitaire but in no way does that justify the monetization for what’s regularly a free game. I’m definitely erasing and not going back after it wanted to charge me for undos. Get outa here.

Not bad. Really good. My one complaint is walking the thin line between flags and uncovering. The game becomes more of a mechanical challenge rather than a mental one. I would suggest an option to make the long touch uncover an area and the fast tap to add a flag.

Upgrade. Thank god for the new feature that helps you find your unopened spaces! I spent 100 hours on the expert level and was only 14 away before the upgrade! Finally Done! Love this game!

Great game, some minor issues. I would give this game 5 stars, but the controls are not perfect. When playing in fast-flag mode, the game will sometimes mistake swiping for unflagging or clearing, which can cost an undo. Many times I've meant to flag two consecutive tiles, but for whatever reason the game clears both, leading to a bug where undoing it does not get rid of the red bars on the side. I've even accidentally unflagged and cleared a tile at the same time while swiping. That being said, the game generally performs pretty well and you can go moderately fast. I like the undo system and the bombs/tile ratio is good. I've beat the game 3 times and have the #2 time overall. My only other gripe is that you should win once you've opened all the tiles; having to mark all the bombs at the end is too tedious. They're also too hard to find on the minimap. But these complaints are relatively minor.

Good app. While this version of the game is great, simple and with a nice mine to tile ratio (not nearly as much guessing as on standard expert difficulty) the controls are a bit annoying. I have lost all my undos fairly quickly, a couple due to my own fault (meant to flag, but held down in fast mode, so exploded) and another 3 due to swiping, to move around, and it going off, cause the game thinks I'm holding down. Please extend the max time for having it to be held down, I mean half a second is still not enough, I'd set mine (ha, mine!) to literally 3-5 seconds if I could, so as to avoid any possibility of a misclick, and those who feel differently can still have it at much shorter times. Hope you take this into consideration, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Best Minesweeper on the AppStore by miles.. This is awesome. The UI is very intuitive. The game board has that original look, too. Not only that, but the ads are actually not annoying for once! It's just a little bar at the bottom, I forget about it most of the time. And best of all, a huge minesweeper board makes for long games. 5 stars from me.

Don’t waste your time....... So I have loved this game from way back to my first computer. I have been playing the app version of the game for some time now from another developer. When I saw that this was an extra large version of it I was geeked. I downloaded it and started playing immediately. The first game as flawless. I continued to play it many times over a 24 hour period and from the second game on it became ultra glitchy. It would set off bombs when I wasn’t even touching the screen. I play the game in fast/flag mode and I would mark a bomb and it would remove it immediately. I would mark it again and it would remove the flag and set it off. I sent the developer a message and never got a response or even acknowledged for my submission. If these things were fixed than this would be the most amazing game and would deserve 5 stars. Until they fix it I will give it a one.

Don’t waste your time. Over the period of time I’ve had this game downloaded, the changes have been to get you to buy coins or watch ads for coins. You only get 4 lives and you can lose those in a matter of minutes and it cost you one to reset the to active if you lost a life to end the short time you played the last time. There used to be a get a life on the game spinner, but that has been gone a long time. You want a good rating, give more lives, quit advertising so much and make your rest time shorter.

The classic with great extra options. Enough said. No annoying pressure to pay and ads are 5 seconds but well worth $2 to just donate and no ads. A huge board of 2016 mines and a very handy map to help keep track! A great escape.

Too many mistakes. Game looks good but after 5 minutes of playing I've already hit 3 mines that shouldn't be there per the numbers next to them.

To Slow. In all settings you have to hold the tile therefore wasting time.

Bought, but now don’t get free coins. I have played this game for over a year, but 3 days after I purchased for no ads, the free coin feature disappeared. What happened? Restart computer, look for updates, that doesn’t seem to be it. Can this be fixed?

Just some bugs. I love this app and have made it my goal to get past the 8,000 mine puzzle. But every time I complete the 2016 on(which I’ve had to do about 4-5 times now.), it makes me restart and redo the 2016 puzzle. This is very frustrating

minesweeper but on a big field. basically thats it, but theres this life mechanic where you can undo a move at the cost of one, you have 4 and you can buy a revive for 50 coins or wait 30 minutes for one ads only appear when you go to the menu or run out of lives no gamecenter/ingame achievements adds nothing new besides lives, ads, and a bigger field (like really big, just finished xxl and now im on xxxl which is 32000 mines and 416*416 field)

Downloaded update now app wont open. I played this game on my computer years ago. It took a few tries on the app for me to get my groove back. But it was like riding a bike. 🚲 💵 I don’t buy apps or do in app purchases so I found the game frustrating. New ‘lives’ are added after 25 minutes. This is something I don’t remember from playing on the computer and is a little excessive. More frustrating 😠 is when I opened the app to play it asked if I wanted to update so I did. Now the app won’t open. It was kinda fun while it lasted but time to delete I guess. 😕

Server unreachable. I’ve playing this game for more than two years now and I like it a lot but the fact that the server have been unreachable for the past two days means I can’t get any new life without my app being open and on the screen for 2 hours. Or even 30 minutes. I respectfully ask for someone to fix this or tell me what to do.

Addictive. It's minesweeper on a giant scale. My kind of game. The controls can be a bit finicky, but it is still fun. I am updating after a couple years to say that I just finished the 512000 mine puzzle. I can only say that it is still minesweeper and still a classic favorite for those that enjoy it.
